[0:55] Speaker 2: six zero six eighty eight twenty two. It's the Doctor

[1:29] Speaker 3: six zero six eight eight two to two if you
[1:31] Speaker 3: want to jump into the fray and trust me, there's
[1:34] Speaker 3: plenty to talk about. Today. We're going to transverse the
[1:38] Speaker 3: landscape of health from the high stakes federal courtrooms in Newark,
[1:42] Speaker 3: to the scientific laboratories in Wales, and finally right into
[1:47] Speaker 3: your own backyard. It's a it's a wild time to
[1:50] Speaker 3: be alive. But as always, knowledge is the best medicine.
[1:55] Speaker 3: So let's go ahead and dive right into the deep
[1:58] Speaker 3: end with our health headlines. This week, we start with
[2:11] Speaker 3: a story that has been decades in the making. This
[2:14] Speaker 3: week is what many are calling the day of Reckoning
[2:18] Speaker 3: for the opiate crisis. In a federal courtroom in Newark,
[2:22] Speaker 3: Purdue Pharma, the company that became a household name for
[2:26] Speaker 3: all the wrong reasons, is facing its final criminal sentencing.
[2:31] Speaker 3: Now we've talked about this on the show before, but
[2:34] Speaker 3: the scale of this is staggering. We aren't just talking
[2:38] Speaker 3: about a company filing for bankruptcy. We are talking about
[2:41] Speaker 3: a total dissolution of a corporate giant that critics say
[2:46] Speaker 3: fueled a fire that has claimed hundreds of thousands of
[2:50] Speaker 3: American lives. This is about corporate accountability, or rather the
[2:55] Speaker 3: lack thereof for far too long. And the twist here
[2:59] Speaker 3: is that the victims are speaking for the first time.
[3:02] Speaker 3: Families who lost children, are parents and also siblings to
[3:07] Speaker 3: this oxy cycle, are standing face to face with the
[3:10] Speaker 3: legal representation of the Sackler legacy. The court is prepared
[3:16] Speaker 3: to transition what's left of this company into a public
[3:20] Speaker 3: benefit company, but the question still remains, can a company
[3:25] Speaker 3: that's born of such controversy ever truly benefit the public.
[3:30] Speaker 3: This is a reminder to every single one of us
[3:33] Speaker 3: you have to be your own best doctor. When a
[3:36] Speaker 3: so called miracle pill like an opiate is pushed with
[3:40] Speaker 3: a ninety percent promise of safety and that number turns
[3:44] Speaker 3: out to be a fabrication, the cost isn't just a
[3:48] Speaker 3: fine in this case, it's a generation. We're watching this
[3:52] Speaker 3: sencing closely because it sets the stage for how the
[3:55] Speaker 3: government handles big pharma greed moving forward. And if you've
[3:59] Speaker 3: been affected by this, I want you to give us
[4:01] Speaker 3: a call at eight hundred six zero six eight eight
[4:04] Speaker 3: two to two. We want to hear your take on
[4:07] Speaker 3: whether justice is actually being served. This week and moving
[4:11] Speaker 3: on from the courtroom to regulatory battlefields, we have what
[4:16] Speaker 3: I'm calling a melanoma flashpoint. This is a major medical
[4:21] Speaker 3: outrage that has oncologists across the country fuming. The FDA
[4:26] Speaker 3: has just issued its second rejection of the skin cancer
[4:30] Speaker 3: drug called rp one. Now why does this matter Because
[4:35] Speaker 3: RP one isn't just another drug, It's in oncology immunotherapy
[4:41] Speaker 3: designed for patients with advanced melanoma who have literally run
[4:45] Speaker 3: out of options. We're talking about people who have failed
[4:48] Speaker 3: every standard of care and are looking at a terminal diagnosis.
[4:52] Speaker 3: So this controversy is reaching a boiling point because the
[4:56] Speaker 3: FDA is sticking to this high evidence rule that requires massive,
[5:01] Speaker 3: years long trials before approval. And this is while the
[5:06] Speaker 3: medical community is shouting from the rooftops that the drug
[5:09] Speaker 3: is already saving lives in smaller controlled settings. And to
[5:13] Speaker 3: make things even more interesting, the political heat is rising.
[5:17] Speaker 3: RFK Junior has been vocal about the need to clean
[5:20] Speaker 3: house at the FDA to stop these kind of delays.
[5:23] Speaker 3: But the FDA leadership is pushing back, saying they won't
[5:27] Speaker 3: sacrifice safety for speed. So here we got the conflict,
[5:32] Speaker 3: the classic conflict of government versus clinical reality. And while
[5:36] Speaker 3: they argue over the paperwork, many of these patients in
[5:39] Speaker 3: these late stage trials are just looking for a chance
[5:42] Speaker 3: to see another birthday. It is troubling to see this
[5:45] Speaker 3: life saving innovation stalled by red tape. So we're going
[5:49] Speaker 3: to try to stay on top of this, but it's
[5:50] Speaker 3: a clear sign that the system is still broken. All right,
[5:54] Speaker 3: let's pivot to some good news, and I mean really
[5:57] Speaker 3: good news for your cardiovascular system. If you've been worried
[6:01] Speaker 3: about your cholesterol are your heart health, you need to
[6:04] Speaker 3: listen up. New research just out of Cardiff University in
[6:08] Speaker 3: the UK has found a secret weapon inside the humble
[6:12] Speaker 3: pomegran The star of the show is a compound called
[6:16] Speaker 3: euro lithin a. Now here's the fascinating part. Your gut
[6:20] Speaker 3: bacteria actually produces this compound when you eat Pomegrants and
[6:25] Speaker 3: researchers are finding that eurolithin a has a shocking ability
[6:30] Speaker 3: to stabilize arterial plaque and This is a big deal
[6:33] Speaker 3: because most people think the goal is to just lower
[6:36] Speaker 3: cholesterol numbers. But the real danger isn't necessarily in having
[6:40] Speaker 3: that plaque. It's having vulnerable or soft plaque that can
[6:44] Speaker 3: rupture and cause a heart attack or stroke. So this
[6:47] Speaker 3: Cardiff study showed that eurolithin A makes these plaques tougher
[6:52] Speaker 3: and less likely to break off, regardless of what your
[6:55] Speaker 3: cholesterol levels are. So this is a game changer for longevity.
[6:59] Speaker 3: It's a natural food based intervention that works with your
[7:03] Speaker 3: microbiome to protect your pipes. It's exactly the kind of
[7:07] Speaker 3: health alternative we love to champion here at the Doctor
[7:10] Speaker 3: Bob Martin Show. So maybe it's time to add some
[7:13] Speaker 3: pomegrant seeds to your salad or grab a glass of
[7:17] Speaker 3: pure unsweetened juice. Finally, we have a common sense alert
[7:22] Speaker 3: from the CDC. I know everyone loves their backyard chickens.
[7:27] Speaker 3: It's a massive trend over the last few years, especially
[7:30] Speaker 3: for those of us looking to control our food source
[7:33] Speaker 3: and get those fresh organic eggs. But the CDC has
[7:36] Speaker 3: just issued a warning after at least thirty four people
[7:39] Speaker 3: in thirteen states fell ill with salomonila. Here's the troubling part.
[7:44] Speaker 3: These aren't your run of the mill bacteria. Some of
[7:47] Speaker 3: these strains are showing signs of antibiotic resistance. This means
[7:52] Speaker 3: that the standard treatments might not work as well even
[7:56] Speaker 3: if you get hit hard with this. So look saying
[8:00] Speaker 3: to get rid of your flock. We are saying to
[8:03] Speaker 3: be smart. The CDC report found that people were getting
[8:08] Speaker 3: sick because they were believe it, are not snuggling and
[8:13] Speaker 3: kissing their chickens. These birds, I get it, they're cute,
[8:18] Speaker 3: but they also are a literal walking petrie dish of salmonilla.
[8:24] Speaker 3: So if you get a coop, keep your shoes that
[8:28] Speaker 3: you wear in the coop outside your house. Wash your
[8:31] Speaker 3: hands like you're prepping for surgery. After you handle the
[8:35] Speaker 3: birds or the eggs. It's about sixty percent more likely
[8:40] Speaker 3: that you'll avoid that nasty gut infection of salmonilla just
[8:44] Speaker 3: by following basic hygiene. So don't let this hobby turn
[8:48] Speaker 3: into a hospital stay all right, coming up after the break,
[8:53] Speaker 3: we're just getting started, folks. When we come back, we
[8:55] Speaker 3: are going to spotlight women's health and plus we'll be
[8:59] Speaker 3: taking your calls at eight hundred six zero six eight
[9:03] Speaker 3: eight two two again. That's eight hundred six zero six
[9:06] Speaker 3: eight eight two two. I want you to tell us.
[9:09] Speaker 3: Are you fed up with the FDA, are you ready
[9:12] Speaker 3: to ditch the statins for pomegrants, or maybe you just
[9:16] Speaker 3: want to tell me about your prize winning rooster. Whatever
[9:20] Speaker 3: it is I want to hear from you. I don't
[9:23] Speaker 3: want you to go anywhere. You're listening to Doctor Adam
[9:26] Speaker 3: Brockman on the Doctor Bob Martin Show. We'll be right
[9:28] Speaker 3: back after this short break. And also remember you can
[9:32] Speaker 3: catch replays of the show, or you can submit your
[9:35] Speaker 3: question online at doctor Bob dot com or health Talkamerica

[9:45] Speaker 3: talk coming your way. Doctor Adam Brockman here. You've heard
[10:02] Speaker 3: us say it before. Your mouth is the gateway to
[10:04] Speaker 3: your body's health. But what if your dental problems could
[10:08] Speaker 3: actually be repaired, not just patched. If you're struggling with
[10:12] Speaker 3: painful gums, jawbone loss, implant failure, are chronic dental infections,
[10:18] Speaker 3: don't settle for more drilling or medications that just mask
[10:21] Speaker 3: the problem. At American Holistic Care Center, healing starts from

[10:40] Speaker 3: at eight seven seven two zero seven zero eight two four.

[10:48] Speaker 3: or visit Americanholisticcare dot com. Because your smile is more
[10:54] Speaker 3: than cosmetic, It's a reflection of your whole body health
[10:58] Speaker 3: American Holistic Care, what if? And we are back. You're
[11:14] Speaker 3: listening to Health Talk America presents the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
[11:18] Speaker 3: I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and if you're just joining us,
[11:21] Speaker 3: we spent the first segment tearing into the FDA's red
[11:24] Speaker 3: tape in the day of Reckoning for pharmaceutical giants. But
[11:29] Speaker 3: right now I want to pivot to a story that
[11:32] Speaker 3: is very timely this month. It's a story about half
[11:36] Speaker 3: the population that has been ignored, sidelined, and has been
[11:40] Speaker 3: treated small by the medical establishment for over a century.
[11:45] Speaker 3: And we're talking about the female biological rhythm for years.
[11:50] Speaker 3: If a woman said I feel different during certain weeks
[11:54] Speaker 3: of the month, or my workout feels impossible today even
[11:58] Speaker 3: though I crushed it last Tuesday, the traditional medical community
[12:04] Speaker 3: treated it kind of like this, Oh, it's just hormones,
[12:08] Speaker 3: Take an aspirin and keep pushing. Well, folks, the time
[12:13] Speaker 3: of the month just became hard science. There's a new
[12:17] Speaker 3: study out that just dropped in Natural Medicine and we're
[12:21] Speaker 3: talking fresh off the press, and it's officially mapped nearly
[12:27] Speaker 3: three thousand different proteins in the female bloodstream that fluctuate
[12:32] Speaker 3: in a perfect systemic symphony across the mentro cycle. Now,
[12:38] Speaker 3: let's get into the outrage for a second. It's twenty
[12:41] Speaker 3: twenty six. We have self driving cars, we're looking at Mars,
[12:45] Speaker 3: and we have AI that can write poetry. Yet it
[12:49] Speaker 3: took us until now to map the basic protein fluctuations
[12:53] Speaker 3: of the female body. For decades, clinical trials excluded women
[12:59] Speaker 3: because they're cycles were too complicated and would mess up
[13:04] Speaker 3: the data. So what did researchers do. They studied men
[13:08] Speaker 3: and acted like women were basically the same model with
[13:12] Speaker 3: a different paint job. But let's be serious. Men are
[13:16] Speaker 3: like jeeps therefore getting around, and women are like a
[13:20] Speaker 3: finely tuned sports car. So this is just lazy science.
[13:26] Speaker 3: It's also dangerous medicine and the downstream effects they've been
[13:30] Speaker 3: staggering for nearly a century or more. Women report adverse
[13:35] Speaker 3: drug reactions at higher rates than men in many categories.
[13:39] Speaker 3: Women are also more likely to have their symptoms minimized,
[13:43] Speaker 3: especially when fatigue or pain or mood changes or sleep
[13:48] Speaker 3: disruption or exercise intolerance are involved. This has created this reality.
[13:53] Speaker 3: Millions of women have been told they're changing energy, recovery, hunger,
[13:58] Speaker 3: or focus are somehow personal failings, when in fact they
[14:03] Speaker 3: may be part of this normal biological shift that's happening
[14:06] Speaker 3: on schedule. So what this twenty twenty six study proves
[14:11] Speaker 3: is that a woman's body doesn't just have a period.
[14:16] Speaker 3: It undergoes a massive systemic whole body reset every single month.
[14:21] Speaker 3: We're talking about the immune system, the cardiovascular function, metabolism,
[14:28] Speaker 3: tissue remodeling, and even brain related signaling change in this
[14:32] Speaker 3: predictable rhythmic pattern. And that matters because proteins are not fluff.
[14:39] Speaker 3: Proteins are also the body's working crew. They are the
[14:43] Speaker 3: form and the messengers, the repair texts, and the traffic
[14:47] Speaker 3: controllers of human biology. And if nearly three thousand of
[14:51] Speaker 3: them are shifting across the cycle, that means that your
[14:55] Speaker 3: body is not operating in the same internal environment every
[14:59] Speaker 3: day of the month, same person, Yes, same physiology, absolutely not.
[15:04] Speaker 3: So this isn't just about reproduction, folks. This is about
[15:08] Speaker 3: survival performance in longevity. And as a guy who spends
[15:13] Speaker 3: his days in a clinical setting, let me tell you
[15:15] Speaker 3: this plainly. If you ignore these rhythms, you're not being tough.
[15:20] Speaker 3: You are making your body pay interest on a biological
[15:23] Speaker 3: credit card. So we've talked about cycle sinking on the
[15:29] Speaker 3: show before, but now we have the protein map to
[15:34] Speaker 3: help explain why so many women have said for years,
[15:37] Speaker 3: I know my body changes week to week. If you
[15:41] Speaker 3: think of the month not as a straight line, but
[15:44] Speaker 3: as four distinct seasons. Once you start seeing it that way,
[15:49] Speaker 3: a lot of the mystery starts turning into strategy. So
[15:53] Speaker 3: if we talk about this phase one, let's call that
[15:55] Speaker 3: the filecular phase, that's your internal sprain. In Phase two
[16:01] Speaker 3: is ovulation, that's the summer peak. Phase three is the
[16:06] Speaker 3: louteal phase, and that's that autumn or fall shift. And
[16:11] Speaker 3: finally phase four is that menstrual phase, and that's that
[16:16] Speaker 3: winter reset. And here's where I want to get practical,
[16:21] Speaker 3: because this is a one conversation that you don't want
[16:25] Speaker 3: to miss. Whether you're a female or a male, cycle
[16:30] Speaker 3: awareness isn't just for elite athletes or wellness influencers or
[16:34] Speaker 3: women trying to get pregnant. It matters for moms and
[16:38] Speaker 3: business owners, in nurses, teachers, executives, and any woman that
[16:43] Speaker 3: is trying to get through life with more energy and
[16:47] Speaker 3: less friction. And if you know that one week of
[16:51] Speaker 3: the month your recovery is usually excellent, that's valuable knowledge.
[16:56] Speaker 3: If you know another week yet your sleep gets shaky
[16:59] Speaker 3: and your appet type jumps by twenty percent, that is
[17:02] Speaker 3: valuable too. And instead of judging yourself, you can prepare.
[17:07] Speaker 3: So this may look like scheduling harder workouts earlier in
[17:11] Speaker 3: the month when that's possible, our planning more recovery and
[17:15] Speaker 3: mobility in the late late phases or menstrual phase, including
[17:21] Speaker 3: increasing your calories slightly when hunger and metabolic demand rise,
[17:26] Speaker 3: or maybe it's reducing alcohol when sleep and inflammation are
[17:29] Speaker 3: already vulnerable. So tracking your symptoms for three months so
[17:34] Speaker 3: patterns can become obvious is essential, and adjusting that communication
[17:39] Speaker 3: at home and work when you know that your bandwidth
[17:42] Speaker 3: is shifting. And this is not about becoming obsessed with
[17:46] Speaker 3: a pattern. It's been about becoming informed and there's a
[17:49] Speaker 3: big difference there. And if you've been listening to doctor
[17:54] Speaker 3: Bob or myself for any length of time, you know
[17:57] Speaker 3: that we are obsessed with longevity. We want you to
[18:01] Speaker 3: live to be a hundred, but we want those years
[18:05] Speaker 3: to be vibrant and mobile and independent and mentally sharp.
[18:10] Speaker 3: And here's the real truth. Longevity isn't just about adding years.
[18:15] Speaker 3: It's about reducing the unnecessary wear and tear. It's about
[18:19] Speaker 3: keeping inflammation in check and protecting lean muscle and preserving
[18:25] Speaker 3: that sleep quality and supporting metabolic flexibility, and also avoiding
[18:31] Speaker 3: the slow leak of energy that drains quality alife. So
[18:35] Speaker 3: when a woman ignores these rhythms and tries to live
[18:39] Speaker 3: on a rigid, twenty four hour hustle cycle every single
[18:42] Speaker 3: day of the month, she often ends up paying for it.
[18:46] Speaker 3: So in a clinic, that can show up as chronic
[18:49] Speaker 3: fatigue or slow fat loss, persistent bloating or low mood.
[18:56] Speaker 3: You know, repeated flare ups, headaches, nagging back pain, name it.
[19:01] Speaker 3: It's these these overused type of injuries and symptoms that
[19:05] Speaker 3: never quite resolve. And we see it. We see it
[19:08] Speaker 3: all the time a woman comes in with a mystery
[19:11] Speaker 3: hip pain, for instance, or a shoulder that won't calm down,
[19:16] Speaker 3: and we review her habits. She has been redlining her workouts,
[19:21] Speaker 3: under eating, and sleeping poorly through that Loutell phase for months.
[19:26] Speaker 3: You cannot outtrain your biology, and why would you want to.
[19:31] Speaker 3: When you align your nutrition or movement and recovery to
[19:37] Speaker 3: these rhythms, you stop chairing, you stop picking these fights
[19:41] Speaker 3: with your own physiology, and you start working with the
[19:44] Speaker 3: most sophisticated machinery on the planet that's not giving in.
[19:49] Speaker 3: That's about getting smarter, all right. If you're sitting right
[19:53] Speaker 3: now thinking I've felt like this my whole life, but
[19:58] Speaker 3: nobody believe me, I want you you to hear this clearly,
[20:02] Speaker 3: the science finally has your back. You're not unstable, you're
[20:07] Speaker 3: not unpredictable. You are are in the in these in
[20:11] Speaker 3: these cycles, these weekly cycles. If you want to break
[20:14] Speaker 3: it down, and that is your biology, and that's your
[20:17] Speaker 3: strength when you understand how to work with it. So
[20:21] Speaker 3: we need to stop treating the female cycle as a
[20:24] Speaker 3: burden and start treating it as a vital sign. If
[20:27] Speaker 3: your cycle is off, your health is probably off too.
[20:31] Speaker 3: Period It deserves the same respect we give blood pressure
[20:35] Speaker 3: or resting heart rate, or sleep quality or blood sugar
[20:39] Speaker 3: and also recovery. All right, so we're gonna take a
[20:42] Speaker 3: quick break, but don't go anywhere. When we come back,
[20:45] Speaker 3: we're going to get to our health alternative of the week.
[20:48] Speaker 3: Stay tuned because you're listening to Health Talk America presents

[22:04] Speaker 3: get back in today's conversation. And folks, let me tell
[22:08] Speaker 3: you about myself, my entire family. In most of my
[22:12] Speaker 3: healthcare colleagues who are interested in avoiding tooth decay, gingivitis,
[22:16] Speaker 3: paradontal disease, and bad breath use Spry toothpaste and spry
[22:20] Speaker 3: Mouth Rents. And I'm going to tell you why. If
[22:24] Speaker 3: you want a spotless checkup to the dental provider, here's
[22:27] Speaker 3: what I do to be my own best dental hygienist
[22:30] Speaker 3: and dentist. Most of the time, I brush my teeth
[22:34] Speaker 3: with Spry toothpaste, I rinse my mouth with spry Mouth Rents,
[22:38] Speaker 3: and I chew spry gum. And Spry comes in delicious
[22:41] Speaker 3: flavors including peppermint, cinnamon, and spearmint. The secret sauce, which
[22:46] Speaker 3: really isn't a secret anymore because of the research in
[22:50] Speaker 3: science behind it. It's xylotol and it's used by millions
[22:54] Speaker 3: of Spry users. Xylotol is a plant based ingredient in
[22:58] Speaker 3: the Spray dental defenses And again that's the toothpaste, the
[23:02] Speaker 3: mouth rents. The gum in the mints in the Spray
[23:06] Speaker 3: Dental Defense system is anti cavity, it's anti plaque in
[23:10] Speaker 3: its anti bad news. The next time your DNIS peers
[23:12] Speaker 3: into your mouth and whispers, what have you been using?
[23:16] Speaker 3: Your teeth and your gums look great, and you can
[23:19] Speaker 3: tell your DNIS you have been using the Spray Dental
[23:22] Speaker 3: Defense System. It's an easy and an inexpensive way to
[23:25] Speaker 3: have the benefits of xylotol throughout the day without needing
[23:28] Speaker 3: to change your habits. So if you want squeaky clean teeth,
[23:33] Speaker 3: gums and breath, then use the Spray Dental Defense system.
[23:37] Speaker 3: The Spray Dental Defense System is available at CBS Target
[23:41] Speaker 3: Vitamin Shop, Sprouts in all natural grocers' locations. And if
[23:45] Speaker 3: you want to know more about the Spray Dental Defense System,
[23:49] Speaker 3: I encourage you to head over to clear dot com

[24:02] Speaker 3: wellness arsenal as well. Again, that's the Spry dental defense
[24:06] Speaker 3: system by Clear. Okay, folks, it's time for this week's
[24:13] Speaker 3: health alternative. If you've ever felt like your body is
[24:34] Speaker 3: a high performance vehicle being driven with the emergency break on,
[24:39] Speaker 3: you are not alone. For millions of women, that break
[24:43] Speaker 3: is actually a hormonal imbalance that feels less like a
[24:47] Speaker 3: minor glitch and more like a total system failure. We're
[24:51] Speaker 3: talking about the wild, unpredictable fluctuations of pcos and the
[24:58] Speaker 3: grueling exhaustion of perimenopause in the agonizing frustration of unexplained infertility.
[25:06] Speaker 3: Enter our health alternative of the weak. Shadavari. In the
[25:10] Speaker 3: ancient world, it's known as the queen of herbs. But
[25:14] Speaker 3: here in twenty twenty six, thanks to some new clinical data,
[25:19] Speaker 3: we are seeing that this just isn't folklore. It's a
[25:22] Speaker 3: metabolic inhormonal powerhouse that is changing the game for women's longevity.
[25:28] Speaker 3: But before we get into the how, let's talk about
[25:30] Speaker 3: the why. It is shocking to realize that nearly one
[25:34] Speaker 3: in ten women of reproductive age are walking around with PCOS.
[25:39] Speaker 3: That's polycystic ovarian syndrome. That's not just a statistic. That's
[25:44] Speaker 3: a massive portion of our sisters, our daughters, and our
[25:48] Speaker 3: friends living with a condition that increases the risk of
[25:51] Speaker 3: type two diabetes by four hundred percent. And the conventional
[25:56] Speaker 3: approach often leaves women feeling unheard. You're told to lose
[26:00] Speaker 3: weight or take met foreman, but these suggestions often ignore
[26:04] Speaker 3: the underlying architectural damage happening within the ovaries themselves. We
[26:10] Speaker 3: see increased ovarian volume, this string of pearls follicular count
[26:16] Speaker 3: that indicates stuck ovulation in a metabolic environment that is
[26:21] Speaker 3: essentially on fire. So chet avari it translates literally to
[26:28] Speaker 3: she who possesses a hundred husbands.
[26:32] Speaker 5: Wow.
[26:32] Speaker 3: So I'm not sure that that is something any woman wants.
[26:37] Speaker 3: I know there are days my wife doesn't even want one.
[26:41] Speaker 3: But that traditional meaning refers to the herb's ability to
[26:45] Speaker 3: support vitality in reproductive strength through every stage of a
[26:49] Speaker 3: woman's life. But I'm a man of science, and I
[26:53] Speaker 3: know you are too, or a woman of science, So
[26:57] Speaker 3: don't just look at that tradition. Look at these double
[27:01] Speaker 3: blinded studies, and as we move through right now the
[27:05] Speaker 3: data is coming out of journals like the Frontiers in Endocrinology,
[27:10] Speaker 3: in Food and Nutritional research, and it's quite frankly, it's revolutionary. Then,
[27:15] Speaker 3: the most troubling part of PCOS is the hormonal aging
[27:20] Speaker 3: in the physical change in those ovaries. And the study
[27:24] Speaker 3: researchers looked at the impact of standardized Shadavari extract on
[27:28] Speaker 3: what we call the ovarian architecture and the results were great.
[27:33] Speaker 3: Participants used this clinically backed Shadavari extract and it saw
[27:38] Speaker 3: a reduction in ovarian cys size by forty percent in
[27:42] Speaker 3: just twelve weeks. And we're not just talking about masking
[27:44] Speaker 3: the symptoms. We're seeing a physical remodeling of that tissue.
[27:48] Speaker 3: In the study also noted a significant reduction in total
[27:52] Speaker 3: ovarian volume in a decrease in the antral follical camp,
[27:57] Speaker 3: meaning that the ovaries they stopped over producing these immature
[28:01] Speaker 3: follicles that never actually release an egg. And there is
[28:04] Speaker 3: a restoration of the LH and FSH ratio, which is
[28:09] Speaker 3: the gold standard for hormonal balance. So this is the
[28:12] Speaker 3: difference between clearing the weeds and actually changing that soil.
[28:16] Speaker 3: Satavari works on the HPO axis that's a hypothalmic pituitary
[28:22] Speaker 3: ovarian axis, and it acts as a gentle reset button
[28:26] Speaker 3: for communication between your brain and your reproductive system. So
[28:32] Speaker 3: I don't want you to just run out and buy
[28:34] Speaker 3: the cheapest form of Shadavari powder you find at the
[28:37] Speaker 3: grocery store. Quality is everything in the world of longevity science.
[28:41] Speaker 3: So when you're looking for a supplement, you want to
[28:44] Speaker 3: look for clinically backstandardized extracts. One name that is consistently
[28:48] Speaker 3: appearing in the literature is Zaya and that's xe Ya,
[28:54] Speaker 3: and that's a specific extract that's standardized to ensure that
[28:58] Speaker 3: you're actually getting what you need. Okay, folks, So we're
[29:02] Speaker 3: living a time where you no longer have to be
[29:04] Speaker 3: a passenger in your own body. The days of just
[29:07] Speaker 3: dealing with hormonal chaos are over, and that is with
[29:11] Speaker 3: Shadabari our health alternative.
[29:13] Speaker 6: Of the week.

[33:12] Speaker 3: you the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable, and
[33:16] Speaker 3: especially when the truth is downright dangerous. Now, before the break,
[33:21] Speaker 3: we were talking about the incredible benefits of shadavare and
[33:25] Speaker 3: how it supports the female rhythm. But right now it's
[33:29] Speaker 3: time for our health Outrage of the week.
[33:39] Speaker 5: Each for the health outbreage, because it's nothing but.
[33:50] Speaker 3: I want to talk to every woman listening right now
[33:53] Speaker 3: and every man who has a wife, a daughter, or
[33:56] Speaker 3: a mother. I want to talk about the male DeFi
[34:00] Speaker 3: and I'm talking about this staggering, systemic, in scientifically lazy
[34:05] Speaker 3: practice of treating the female body like it's just a
[34:09] Speaker 3: smaller version of a man. I briefly mentioned this earlier
[34:13] Speaker 3: in the hour, and now it's time to shed some
[34:15] Speaker 3: more light on it. We just saw this massive study
[34:19] Speaker 3: published in Nature Medicine, in Communications Medicine. It's a wake
[34:23] Speaker 3: up call that most of the medical establishment is still
[34:27] Speaker 3: hitting the snooze button on these researchers looked at NIH
[34:31] Speaker 3: funded studies and found something that's shocking. While sixty one
[34:35] Speaker 3: percent of these studies actually included both sexes, only forty
[34:39] Speaker 3: four percent of them bothered to report the results by sex.
[34:43] Speaker 3: And did you hear that they're doing the work, they're
[34:47] Speaker 3: collecting the data, but then there's just lumping everyone into
[34:51] Speaker 3: one big human bucket. They are essentially erasing the biological
[34:56] Speaker 3: reality of being a woman. It's it's a scientific ghosting
[35:01] Speaker 3: of half the population and it has lethal consequences. You know,
[35:06] Speaker 3: for decades, the medical world of these trials, these clinical trials,
[35:10] Speaker 3: has operated under the myth of that women are simply
[35:14] Speaker 3: small men with different plumbing. That's a flat out lie.
[35:20] Speaker 3: Women's biology is complex, it's beautiful, and it's uniquely symphonic.
[35:26] Speaker 3: Women have different fat distributions, which matters because many drugs
[35:31] Speaker 3: are fat soluble. Women's immune systems are more reactive, kidneys
[35:37] Speaker 3: clear waste at different rates. And then there's the obvious,
[35:41] Speaker 3: the hormonal cycles. But for years researchers said, oh, women's
[35:47] Speaker 3: hormones are too complicated, they just mess up the data.
[35:51] Speaker 3: Let's just use male mice or male college students, and
[35:54] Speaker 3: then we'll give woman a slightly smaller dose. That's not science,
[36:00] Speaker 3: that's a crapshoot. And women, they're the ones that are
[36:04] Speaker 3: paying the price. Because of this male default, women are
[36:07] Speaker 3: about fifty to seventy five percent more likely to suffer
[36:11] Speaker 3: from adverse drug reactions. When you take a pill and
[36:15] Speaker 3: you get a rash, or your heart starts racing, or
[36:18] Speaker 3: you feel dizzy, it's not because you're sensitive. It's because
[36:21] Speaker 3: that pill was never tested on a body that looks
[36:24] Speaker 3: or functions like yours. So let's look at these receipts.
[36:28] Speaker 3: You remember, ambient, For years, millions of women were taking
[36:33] Speaker 3: the same dose as men. Then we found out decades
[36:37] Speaker 3: later that women metabolized the drug much slower. So women
[36:41] Speaker 3: were waking up the next morning getting behind the wheel
[36:44] Speaker 3: of a car with high levels of the sedative still
[36:47] Speaker 3: in their blood, and then they were crashing, crashing their cars.
[36:51] Speaker 3: So it took the FDA until twenty thirteen to finally say, oops,
[36:55] Speaker 3: maybe women should only take half the dose. Or how
[36:59] Speaker 3: about heart health? We see it in my practice all
[37:02] Speaker 3: the time when women are given beta blockers after a
[37:06] Speaker 3: heart attack, drugs that were primarily tested on men, they
[37:09] Speaker 3: often have worse outcomes and more side effects. And then,
[37:13] Speaker 3: don't even get me started on oncology. The latest data
[37:17] Speaker 3: shows that cancer treatment toxicticity, it's twelve percent higher in
[37:22] Speaker 3: women than men for the same treatments. And that question
[37:25] Speaker 3: is why, Because the standard of care was built for
[37:28] Speaker 3: one hundred and seventy pounds male baseline, we are literally
[37:32] Speaker 3: poisoning women in the name of standardized medicine. So what
[37:37] Speaker 3: do we do. We don't get mad, We get informed.
[37:40] Speaker 3: The next time your doctor hands you a prescription, I
[37:43] Speaker 3: want you to ask these simple words, is this tested
[37:46] Speaker 3: on both sexes? Ask them if the clinical trials for
[37:49] Speaker 3: the drugs show the same results and safety profiles for
[37:52] Speaker 3: men and women if they don't tell them to look
[37:55] Speaker 3: them up, or if they don't know. We have to
[37:58] Speaker 3: stop accepting the one size fit it's all medicine because
[38:01] Speaker 3: in the world of healthcare, one size fits all usually
[38:04] Speaker 3: fits men and fails women. We need to push for
[38:08] Speaker 3: sex informed medicine. We need to demand that the NIH
[38:12] Speaker 3: in the pharmaceutical giants stop lumping this data. All right,
[38:16] Speaker 3: I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and this has been the health
[38:19] Speaker 3: outrage of the week. I don't want you to go anywhere.
[38:21] Speaker 3: We're coming back with a health mystery right after this. Hi,
[38:34] Speaker 3: It's doctor Adam Brockman. We talk about health every week.
[38:37] Speaker 3: When your joints hurt, everything hurts, you lose that freedom
[38:41] Speaker 3: to move and bind and stretch and do the things
[38:44] Speaker 3: you love. And that's why I want to tell you
[38:46] Speaker 3: about something truly special, and that's APEX joint minerals. This
[38:50] Speaker 3: isn't another gimmick or quick fix. It's a mineral complex
[38:53] Speaker 3: and it's inspired by a discovery high in the Sierra Mountains.
[38:57] Speaker 3: And it's minerals that your body actually recognizes and uses
[39:00] Speaker 3: to restore joint flexibility and comfort. And what makes APEX
[39:04] Speaker 3: Joint Minerals different. Is it's science seeing what happens when
[39:08] Speaker 3: people give their joints the nutrients they've been missing and
[39:11] Speaker 3: they get their life back. And that's what I want
[39:13] Speaker 3: for you. So if you're ready to move freely again,
[39:15] Speaker 3: go to Jointminerals dot com or call eight four four
[39:20] Speaker 3: nine four three one one four fours Jointminerals dot com
[39:24] Speaker 3: or call now at eight four four nine four three
[39:28] Speaker 3: one one four four a text Joint Minerals. Because movement
[39:32] Speaker 3: is the gift worth protecting.
[39:38] Speaker 4: I was told when I get old to almaheser strength,
[39:40] Speaker 4: but now I'm insecure and to caure what people think.
[39:45] Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Doctor Bob Bardon Show. I'm doctor
[39:47] Speaker 3: Adam Brockman, and if you just joined us, you're hitting
[39:50] Speaker 3: the airwaves just in time for our health Mystery of
[39:54] Speaker 3: the Week. I want you to imagine this. You're standing
[40:02] Speaker 3: in the middle of your kitchen, your car keys gripped
[40:05] Speaker 3: in your hands, and suddenly the room feels like a
[40:08] Speaker 3: foreign country. You know you were supposed to be somewhere
[40:11] Speaker 3: five minutes ago, but the why has completely evaporated from
[40:15] Speaker 3: your brain. Your heart starts to race, you think, is
[40:19] Speaker 3: this it is this the beginning of the end for
[40:22] Speaker 3: my brain. Lately, I've been seeing this staggering influx of women, vibrant,
[40:27] Speaker 3: high achieving sharp as attack women in their forties and fifties,
[40:31] Speaker 3: asking questions with a terrifying fear. Let's call it the
[40:36] Speaker 3: case of the vanishing vitality. They aren't just tired. They
[40:40] Speaker 3: feel like their cognitive hardware is glitching. And they're being
[40:44] Speaker 3: told by Google University and sadly, even some well meaning
[40:48] Speaker 3: doctors that they might be looking at early onset cognitive
[40:52] Speaker 3: decline or even dementia. But here's the shocking truth that
[40:56] Speaker 3: modern medicine is just starting to admit for many of you,
[40:59] Speaker 3: it's not your brain that's failing. It's your ovaries that
[41:02] Speaker 3: are changing the channel. We are witnessing this massive epidemic
[41:07] Speaker 3: of misdiagnosis. When a woman walks into a standard clinical
[41:11] Speaker 3: setting complaining of brain fog or memory lapses or the
[41:14] Speaker 3: inability to focus, the conventional medical machine often looks at
[41:19] Speaker 3: these symptoms in a vacuum. They see a neurological issue.
[41:23] Speaker 3: They might run a few basic tests, look for some
[41:26] Speaker 3: biomarkers for cognitive decay or worse, yet handout a prescription
[41:31] Speaker 3: for an anti anxiety medicine or an antidepressant and send
[41:34] Speaker 3: you on your way. But here's the statistic. Research suggests
[41:38] Speaker 3: that up to sixty percent of women experiencing cognitive shifts
[41:41] Speaker 3: during their mid forties are actually experiencing the neurological fallout
[41:45] Speaker 3: of ovarian aging, not a primary brain disease. So we've
[41:50] Speaker 3: been conditioned to think that ovaries are only about fertility,
[41:54] Speaker 3: in that the time of the month we've been lied to,
[41:57] Speaker 3: your ovaries are actually your primary power plants for your
[42:01] Speaker 3: brain's neuro wellness. And when the production of esrigen or
[42:05] Speaker 3: progesteron begins to fluctuate, what we call that very menopausal transition,
[42:11] Speaker 3: it's like someone is messing with the voltage of your
[42:14] Speaker 3: entire nervous system. All right, folks, So there you have it.
[42:19] Speaker 3: Your ovaries might be your health mystery. If you have
[42:23] Speaker 3: some brain fog or cognitive decline, that may be something
[42:26] Speaker 3: to look at. But in folks, we're wrapping up today's
[42:28] Speaker 3: journey through this landscape of health, and I want to
[42:31] Speaker 3: leave you with one final thought. We live in a
[42:33] Speaker 3: world that tries to convince us that fading away is
[42:36] Speaker 3: just the price of admission to this well lived life.
[42:40] Speaker 3: They tell us the brain fog, the fatigue, the vanishing vitality.
[42:43] Speaker 3: They're inevitable. But I'm here to tell you that's a lie.
[42:47] Speaker 3: Whether we're talking about the male default and medicine that
[42:50] Speaker 3: ignores a woman's unique biology, or a health mystery about
[42:55] Speaker 3: shifting the brain and shifting our thoughts, the solution always insane.
[42:59] Speaker 3: Knowledge is your armor. You are the CEO of your
[43:02] Speaker 3: own health. You are the one who decides how you're
[43:05] Speaker 3: going to feel when you wake up ten or twenty
[43:08] Speaker 3: or thirty years from now. So until next time, I
[43:10] Speaker 3: want you to stay curious, stay bold, and most importantly,
[43:13] Speaker 3: stay healthy. I'm doctor Adam Brocklin for Health Talk America
[43:16] Speaker 3: presents the Doctor Bob Martin Show. We'll see you back
[43:19] Speaker 3: here next time.
