[2:01] Speaker 3: doctor bob dot com. And folks, the ink. It's still
[2:06] Speaker 3: wet on this week's medical journals. And we are living
[2:10] Speaker 3: in the age of breakthrough. But as your resident longevity
[2:15] Speaker 3: enthusiasts and your health motivator, I have to ask, are
[2:19] Speaker 3: we breaking through to better health or are we just
[2:22] Speaker 3: finding more expensive ways to fix what we should have
[2:25] Speaker 3: prevented in the first place. So today we're going to
[2:28] Speaker 3: dive deep into the health headlines, everything from smart brain
[2:33] Speaker 3: cleaners to cancer vaccines, and I'm going to give you
[2:37] Speaker 3: the spin on how to stay healthy in this high
[2:39] Speaker 3: tech world without losing your soul or your savings accounts
[2:43] Speaker 3: at the online shops or retail cameras. So let's go
[2:48] Speaker 3: ahead and get into this week's health headlines. First up
[3:00] Speaker 3: on the docket is a story that has the intercinology
[3:04] Speaker 3: world buzzing, and that is the FDA has officially given
[3:08] Speaker 3: the green light to something known as a weekly and
[3:12] Speaker 3: that is the first ever once weekly insulin for type
[3:16] Speaker 3: two diabetics. Now, if you're one of the thirty seven
[3:19] Speaker 3: million Americans that are living with diabetes, you know the routine.
[3:23] Speaker 3: It's the fingerprink, prick, and the plunge type of day
[3:27] Speaker 3: and sometimes multiple times a day. It's it's tedious, it's painful,
[3:31] Speaker 3: and frankly, it's compliance is a nightmare. And research shows
[3:35] Speaker 3: that nearly fifty percent of people on daily insulin regiments
[3:39] Speaker 3: they miss a dose or they take them incorrectly. So
[3:43] Speaker 3: this enters a weekly it's one shot and once a week.
[3:47] Speaker 3: It's being hailed as this paradigm shift in metabolic management.
[3:52] Speaker 3: So you know, I'm all for making life easier. If
[3:55] Speaker 3: the weekly shot keeps that patient's blood sugar from spiking
[3:58] Speaker 3: into that danger zone. That's a win for modern engineering.
[4:02] Speaker 3: But here's the kicker. Insulin is a storage hormone, and
[4:06] Speaker 3: when we flood the body with it, even a slow
[4:09] Speaker 3: release version, we were often just managing the symptoms of
[4:13] Speaker 3: a metabolic fire rather than putting the fire out. So
[4:15] Speaker 3: we're treating that smoke and not treating the condition itself.
[4:20] Speaker 3: So in addition, you know, you know, we should probably
[4:25] Speaker 3: jump on this weekly needle bandwagon. But let's talk about
[4:29] Speaker 3: the mineral matrix. We're talking about chromium. That's an unsung
[4:33] Speaker 3: hero of insulin sensitivity. And before your pancreas throws in
[4:37] Speaker 3: a towel, are you at giving it that raw materials
[4:40] Speaker 3: it needs to function. So transition to a high fiber,
[4:44] Speaker 3: a mineral rich diet that can do great things, and
[4:48] Speaker 3: it can do it for your A one C, which
[4:50] Speaker 3: is important in this diabetes management this test. So if
[4:54] Speaker 3: we're sticking with this blood sugar theme, researchers in Japan
[4:58] Speaker 3: have cracked a code that has baffled scientists for decades.
[5:01] Speaker 3: How do you get insulin this protein, this delicate protein,
[5:05] Speaker 3: past the acid vat of the human stomach without it
[5:08] Speaker 3: being destroyed. So they developed something called a cyslic DNP
[5:13] Speaker 3: peptide and think of it as a microscopic armored car.
[5:17] Speaker 3: This peptide wraps around the insulin, it protects it from
[5:20] Speaker 3: the stomach acid, and it cruises right through the intestinal
[5:22] Speaker 3: wall and that gets into the bloodstream. So there's no needles,
[5:25] Speaker 3: no bruising, just a pill that you can take once
[5:29] Speaker 3: a day. This could potentially help millions of people who
[5:32] Speaker 3: have that needle phobia or who are in that early
[5:35] Speaker 3: stages of insulin resistance itself. So this is a fascinating technology,
[5:40] Speaker 3: but it highlights another truth. We are becoming a nation
[5:43] Speaker 3: that would rather take a pill to manage a cookie
[5:46] Speaker 3: habit than stopping stop eating the cookies in the first place.
[5:50] Speaker 3: In this convenience it's there, it's everywhere in our lives, right,
[5:55] Speaker 3: But the physiological cost of a bypass digestion is something
[5:59] Speaker 3: we haven't fully mapped out yet. So if you're looking
[6:02] Speaker 3: to improve your glucose response, look towards Berberin. It's often
[6:07] Speaker 3: called nature's met form and for a reason, it activates
[6:10] Speaker 3: something known as AMPK, and that's your metabolic master switch.
[6:14] Speaker 3: It's about teaching your cells how to burn the fuel again,
[6:18] Speaker 3: rather than just forcing more fuel into this crowded room. Now,
[6:23] Speaker 3: let's shift gears to one of the most fear diagnosis
[6:28] Speaker 3: in modern medicine, and that's Alzheimer's. We've seen a lot
[6:31] Speaker 3: of false starts with drugs that clear the amyloid placking,
[6:36] Speaker 3: but it also can cause brain bleeding. However, a new
[6:39] Speaker 3: breakthrough involving car astrocytes. It's turning heads and instead of
[6:45] Speaker 3: a drug that wanders aimlessly through this blood brain barrier,
[6:51] Speaker 3: scientists are now using a single injection of re engineered
[6:55] Speaker 3: helper cells, these astrocytes that act like a rumba for
[6:59] Speaker 3: your brain. So they're program to identify, hunt down, and
[7:03] Speaker 3: literally eat the toxic plaques that lead to cognitive decline. So,
[7:07] Speaker 3: in these early trials, the cleaning action what's eighty percent
[7:11] Speaker 3: more effective than previous pharmaceutical attempts. So it's a great
[7:16] Speaker 3: move reprogramming cells to be cleaners. It seems like it's
[7:20] Speaker 3: straight out of a novel, But we have to ask
[7:23] Speaker 3: why the plaque is there in the first place. Is
[7:26] Speaker 3: it the cause of the fire or is it the
[7:29] Speaker 3: ash that's left behind? And in longevity, it's not about
[7:33] Speaker 3: cleaning up the mess. It's about preventing that brain rot
[7:37] Speaker 3: in the first place. This is where the liver brain
[7:41] Speaker 3: connection comes in. If your liver is sluggish, your brain
[7:44] Speaker 3: becomes a dumping ground for toxins. We need to focus
[7:48] Speaker 3: on neural protective fats like omega threes and your brain
[7:53] Speaker 3: it's actually sixty percent fat. So if you're eating these
[7:57] Speaker 3: frankin fats, those ultra sessed foods and the seed oils,
[8:01] Speaker 3: you're basically asking for that plaque build up. So if
[8:05] Speaker 3: you give your brain the good grease before you resort
[8:09] Speaker 3: to those cellular janitors. And for decades, the big one
[8:14] Speaker 3: heart bypass surgery meant cracking the chest open like a lobster,
[8:18] Speaker 3: weeks of recovery in a massive scar. Well, the future
[8:21] Speaker 3: just called in. It brought a catheter. Surgeons are now
[8:25] Speaker 3: successfully performing catheter based coronary bypasses. They thread a tiny
[8:30] Speaker 3: device through a vein in the leg, they navigated it
[8:33] Speaker 3: to the heart and create a detour around the blockage
[8:36] Speaker 3: without having this single major incision. It's like fixing a
[8:40] Speaker 3: highway by building a tunnel underneath it while the cars
[8:43] Speaker 3: are still moving. So patients are going home in forty
[8:46] Speaker 3: eight hours instead of up to ten days. With traditional
[8:49] Speaker 3: bypass surgery. So here we need to talk about nitric oxide.
[8:54] Speaker 3: I've discussed this with biochemists like doctor Nathan Bryan on
[8:57] Speaker 3: the show. In nitric oxide is what keeps your arteries
[9:00] Speaker 3: slippery and dilated. So instead of waiting for a bypass,
[9:05] Speaker 3: let's talk about N one h one our hawthorn berry
[9:09] Speaker 3: and also movement. So if you keep your pipes clean,
[9:12] Speaker 3: you have you're managing that inflammation right there on the spot.
[9:16] Speaker 3: And finally, we have news from South Korea regarding a
[9:20] Speaker 3: personalized cancer vaccine, and unlike vaccines that we're used to,
[9:24] Speaker 3: this isn't to prevent an infection. It's to teach your
[9:26] Speaker 3: immune system how to recognize and take care of assassinate
[9:31] Speaker 3: those specific tumor cells that are already in your body.
[9:34] Speaker 3: By taking a biopsy of the patient's tumor, scientists can
[9:38] Speaker 3: create a wanted poster for the immune system. So once injected,
[9:42] Speaker 3: your own t cells become these bounty hunters with a
[9:45] Speaker 3: ninety percent accuracy rate in early clinical models. So this
[9:49] Speaker 3: is precision medicine at its finess. But we also need
[9:52] Speaker 3: to ask why are our internal police force failing in
[9:55] Speaker 3: the first place. Our immune system it often comes back
[9:58] Speaker 3: to the gut. Seventy to eighty percent of our immune
[10:01] Speaker 3: system lives in your gut microbiome. So if you're destroying
[10:04] Speaker 3: your gut through processed sugar and stress, those bounty hunters
[10:08] Speaker 3: are basically asleep at the desk. We need to support
[10:11] Speaker 3: our natural killer cells with things like medicinal mushrooms and
[10:15] Speaker 3: high dose vitamin D. Let's make your body an environment
[10:19] Speaker 3: that cancer cells can't live in in the first place.
[10:24] Speaker 3: So here we go where medicine is great for that
[10:28] Speaker 3: crisis prevention, but we also need to look at longevity,
[10:32] Speaker 3: and that's a lifestyle. It's about the habits that you
[10:35] Speaker 3: build when the headlines aren't screaming at you. It's about
[10:38] Speaker 3: using health as a lens through where you see the world,
[10:42] Speaker 3: not a leash that keeps you tied to a pharmacy.
[10:44] Speaker 3: So we got a lot more to cover this hour,
[10:46] Speaker 3: including our health alternative coming up. So don't go anywhere.
[10:48] Speaker 3: This is the doctor Bob Martin Show with doctor Adam Brockman.
[10:51] Speaker 3: Let's take control of your health together.
[11:00] Speaker 4: Doctor Bob margin with an important message from doctor Earle Mendel, PhD,
[11:05] Speaker 4: pharmacist and author.
[11:07] Speaker 5: Thirty years ago high in the Sierra Mountain, something more
[11:11] Speaker 5: valuable than gold was discovered, a pristine health retubernating mineral deposit,
[11:15] Speaker 5: and that discovery inspired a breakthrough joint supplement called Apex
[11:20] Speaker 5: Joint Minerals. Apex Joint Minerals is a unique.

[12:10] Speaker 2: Okay, it's gonna me a good line.
[12:14] Speaker 7: That's one line there to say anything.
[12:19] Speaker 5: Everything's fine.
[12:25] Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm your host,
[12:29] Speaker 3: doctor Adam Brockman. We just went through this week's health
[12:33] Speaker 3: headlines and don't get me wrong, I love the headlines.
[12:35] Speaker 3: I love the breakthroughs, but I'm also worried that we're
[12:39] Speaker 3: losing the forest for the trees. These once weekly shots
[12:44] Speaker 3: and these brain cleaning injections, they're exciting, but here we are.
[12:48] Speaker 3: We're we're sitting with sixty percent of the American diet
[12:52] Speaker 3: is still ultra processed garbage. We're looking for the magic
[12:57] Speaker 3: bullet while we're literally starving ourselves for minerals. You are
[13:02] Speaker 3: what you absorb. And if we aren't getting the magnesium
[13:06] Speaker 3: or the zinc in the trace minerals from our soil
[13:09] Speaker 3: or our foods, our high tech bodies are just going
[13:13] Speaker 3: to keep breaking down. So I want you to consider
[13:17] Speaker 3: that with context when we talk about some of this.
[13:20] Speaker 3: How can we get back to what our body does best,
[13:23] Speaker 3: and that is to thrive. And so that's what we're
[13:27] Speaker 3: all about here on the show. We want to see
[13:29] Speaker 3: you thrive. So if you've got questions about your health,
[13:33] Speaker 3: or you need a little bit of help are you
[13:35] Speaker 3: or you've had a breakthrough yourself, we want to hear
[13:39] Speaker 3: about it. We want you to call us at eight
[13:42] Speaker 3: hundred six zero six eight eight two to two. That's
[13:44] Speaker 3: the Doctor Bob Martin caller hotline. That's eight hundred six
[13:48] Speaker 3: zero six eighty two to two. Okay, let's move on
[13:52] Speaker 3: to a topic that most of us are experiencing right now,
[13:55] Speaker 3: and that's allergies. So if you're currently squinting through itchy,
[14:00] Speaker 3: swollen eyes or you're reaching for that third box of
[14:03] Speaker 3: tissues today, you're not alone. We are officially in the
[14:08] Speaker 3: thick of this allergy season and it's a war zone.
[14:12] Speaker 3: So we have to talk about what's happening outside right now.
[14:16] Speaker 3: We're not just looking at a bad allergy season. We
[14:19] Speaker 3: are witnessing what researchers are calling a sneeze apocalypse. For
[14:25] Speaker 3: the first time in recorded history, the traditional boundaries of
[14:29] Speaker 3: pollen seasons have completely shattered. Usually we see tree pollen
[14:34] Speaker 3: in the early spring, followed by a polite handoff to
[14:38] Speaker 3: grasses in May, but not this year. Thanks to shifting
[14:42] Speaker 3: climate patterns, these seasons have merged into one massive, overlapping
[14:47] Speaker 3: biological bonfire. So we've got our immune systems. We're being
[14:51] Speaker 3: hit from every single angle and it's happening all at
[14:54] Speaker 3: one time, and it's staggering to see how many of
[14:58] Speaker 3: us are struggling to by taking usual medications. So if
[15:03] Speaker 3: you feel like your clariton or your zero tech has
[15:06] Speaker 3: suddenly stopped working. You're not imagining this. This isn't just
[15:12] Speaker 3: a tough year. The very nature of allergy season has changed.
[15:18] Speaker 3: Since nineteen seventy the freeze free growing season has lengthened
[15:23] Speaker 3: by an average of twenty one days across almost ninety
[15:27] Speaker 3: percent of US cities, So that is an extra three
[15:30] Speaker 3: weeks of plants that are pumping out irritants. And in
[15:34] Speaker 3: this year, in twenty twenty sixth, the data is even
[15:37] Speaker 3: more shocking. We are seeing these rivers from late last
[15:43] Speaker 3: year that are fueling a growth explosion. So we've got
[15:47] Speaker 3: places like Boise, Idaho, where remarkably their hit number one
[15:53] Speaker 3: on the allergy charts this year, and across the southeast,
[15:57] Speaker 3: fallen counts are surging from near zero to over five
[16:01] Speaker 3: hundred grains per cubic meter, and that's in a single afternoon.
[16:06] Speaker 3: And then we got in Georgia, for example, we're seeing
[16:09] Speaker 3: peaks that are exceeding two thousand grains. So that's not
[16:14] Speaker 3: just a pollen bomb that's going to overwhelm any healthy
[16:19] Speaker 3: respiratory system. But here's here's the real truth. The reason
[16:23] Speaker 3: you feel like a zombie isn't isn't the pollen, it's
[16:26] Speaker 3: the way you're treating it. Most of us have been
[16:29] Speaker 3: conditioned to reach for that band aid type of approach.
[16:32] Speaker 3: We see a symptom, we want it gone, so we
[16:35] Speaker 3: pop into over the counter and a histamine. These drugs
[16:38] Speaker 3: they're designed to block histamine receptors, essentially putting a muzzle
[16:43] Speaker 3: on your immune system. But when the pollen count is
[16:46] Speaker 3: at two thousand, that muzzle's not enough. So what's worse
[16:51] Speaker 3: is this chemical strait jacket that these medicines put you on.
[16:55] Speaker 3: We're talking about the brain fog, the low energy levels
[16:59] Speaker 3: in a dry sensation that makes you you feel like
[17:02] Speaker 3: you've been wandering the Mojave desert. We see a massive
[17:07] Speaker 3: rebound effect. Then, when you rely on those nasal decongestion
[17:11] Speaker 3: sprays for more than three days, you forget. Your body
[17:15] Speaker 3: forgets as well how to regulate its own blood flow
[17:19] Speaker 3: in the sinus cavities. So you stop the spray in
[17:22] Speaker 3: your nose, it starts to slam tighter than that bank vault.
[17:26] Speaker 3: It's a vicious cycle that keeps you dependent on the
[17:30] Speaker 3: pharmacy aisle while never actually addressing what your body is
[17:33] Speaker 3: overacting to. In the first place. This is where we
[17:36] Speaker 3: need to pivot from that conventional thinking to more holistic
[17:41] Speaker 3: wellness approach. So how do we fight back without turning
[17:46] Speaker 3: into a drowsy mess. We have to look at the
[17:49] Speaker 3: root cause this is a conversation that you need to
[17:53] Speaker 3: be involved with. Seasonal allergies are they could be considered
[17:57] Speaker 3: a gut health issue. I know that's saund strange. Why
[18:01] Speaker 3: would your stomach affect your nose? It's but it's something
[18:05] Speaker 3: that's called the gut liune axis. In about seventy to
[18:09] Speaker 3: eighty percent of your immune system lives in the digestive track.
[18:12] Speaker 3: So when your microbiome is out of balance, your immune
[18:15] Speaker 3: system becomes twitchy, if you will, It starts seeing harmless
[18:21] Speaker 3: oak pollen as this huge threat and it launches a
[18:24] Speaker 3: full scale inflammatory response. But by fixing your gut, you
[18:29] Speaker 3: are essentially lowering the temperature of your immune system. So
[18:33] Speaker 3: let's talk about these heavy hitters. If you're looking for
[18:36] Speaker 3: a health alternative, look no further than curse atin or
[18:40] Speaker 3: something known as butterbur curstin. It's a bioflavonoid that's found
[18:45] Speaker 3: in red onions and apples, and it's essentially nature's master stabilizer.
[18:51] Speaker 3: It prevents your mass cells from dumping histamine in the
[18:54] Speaker 3: first place, so you can think of it as preventive
[18:57] Speaker 3: maintenance for your body's fire alarm. Then there's butterbur. So
[19:01] Speaker 3: these new studies this year, these clinical studies have shown
[19:04] Speaker 3: that high quality butterbur extract is just as effective as
[19:08] Speaker 3: some leading over the counter medicines, but without those zombie
[19:12] Speaker 3: mode side effects. So that's a game changer for those
[19:16] Speaker 3: looking for daily performance in longevity. And then we got
[19:20] Speaker 3: to mention steaming nettle. It's been used for centuries, but
[19:24] Speaker 3: modern science is finally catching up to that is proving
[19:27] Speaker 3: its ability to inhibit the pro inflammatory pathways that lead
[19:32] Speaker 3: to that miserable, stuffed up feeling. So when we combine
[19:36] Speaker 3: these natural allies with a focus on gut healing, probiotics
[19:40] Speaker 3: and fermented foods, we're getting past that sneeze apocalypse. We
[19:45] Speaker 3: are building a fortress that pollen can't breach. This is
[19:49] Speaker 3: how we take control of our health instead of being
[19:52] Speaker 3: victims of a weather report. And of course we need
[19:55] Speaker 3: to have some tactical maneuvers in our daily lives. You've
[19:59] Speaker 3: got to be smart about your environment. If you're heading
[20:02] Speaker 3: out for a jog at say ten am, you're walking
[20:05] Speaker 3: right into that peak pollen release window. So try to
[20:08] Speaker 3: time your outdoor activities for the early morning or right
[20:12] Speaker 3: after a rainstorm, when the air has been scrubbed clean.
[20:16] Speaker 3: And please, for Heaven's sake, you know, let's talk about
[20:20] Speaker 3: your your sleep quality. Get a high quality HEPA filter
[20:25] Speaker 3: for your bedroom. You spend eight hours a night breathing
[20:29] Speaker 3: in whatever followed you home from your clothes and your hair.
[20:33] Speaker 3: And then I also want to talk about using a
[20:35] Speaker 3: nasal spray we talk about often on the show, and
[20:38] Speaker 3: that works with your body, and that's clear nasal spray.
[20:42] Speaker 3: It physically washes out this pollen bomb and it gets
[20:46] Speaker 3: it out of your nasal passage. So you may need
[20:49] Speaker 3: to use it several times a day during this peak season.
[20:52] Speaker 3: It's simple, it's cheap, and it works. So we have
[20:57] Speaker 3: to stop accepting brain fog as this price of admission
[21:01] Speaker 3: for springtime or allergy season. You deserve to enjoy the
[21:06] Speaker 3: blossoms without the burden of that chemical haze. So if
[21:09] Speaker 3: we're shifting our perspective from blocking the symptoms to modulating
[21:15] Speaker 3: that immune response, we can thrive even in the face
[21:19] Speaker 3: of this huge unprecedented twenty twenty six allergy season. It's
[21:24] Speaker 3: about arming you with the right tools, the right nutrients,
[21:28] Speaker 3: the right timing, in the right mindset. All right, folks,
[21:32] Speaker 3: So I want you to stay with me because when
[21:34] Speaker 3: we come back from a short break, I'm going to
[21:36] Speaker 3: reveal this week's health alternative. You're listening to Health Talk
[21:40] Speaker 3: America Presents the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm Doctor Adam Brockman.
[21:45] Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back after these messages
[21:48] Speaker 3: from our sponsors.
[22:06] Speaker 7: Anybody's got mistakes, but everybody's got a choice to make.
[22:12] Speaker 3: Everybody needs to leave the faith. Monny, you're taking yours money.
[22:19] Speaker 3: You infound. Welcome back to help Talk America Presents the
[22:36] Speaker 3: Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm your host, Doctor Adam Brockman.
[22:40] Speaker 3: And if you're just joining us, you've timed it perfectly.
[22:43] Speaker 3: We're diving straight into one of my favorite parts of
[22:46] Speaker 3: the show, and that's the health alternative of the week.
[23:08] Speaker 5: Now.
[23:08] Speaker 3: Look, we live in a world that feels increasingly like
[23:13] Speaker 3: a bacteria minefield. It's allergy season, and if you step
[23:17] Speaker 3: outside today you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. We're
[23:21] Speaker 3: in the middle of what we called in the last
[23:23] Speaker 3: segment sneeze Apocalypse. Between the aggressive new pollen strains in
[23:29] Speaker 3: the ever evolving bugs that are floating through the air,
[23:33] Speaker 3: it feels like we're constantly under siege. But here's the thing.
[23:38] Speaker 3: Most people are trying to fight the battle after the
[23:41] Speaker 3: invaders have already set up camp in their system. They
[23:44] Speaker 3: wait until they're congested or scratchy and also miserable before
[23:49] Speaker 3: they start to reach for a solution. So today I
[23:52] Speaker 3: want to teach you how to be the bouncer at
[23:56] Speaker 3: the club of your own body. We're talking about securing
[24:00] Speaker 3: the two front doors. If you think about your body
[24:04] Speaker 3: as this high security fortress, you've got skin like armor,
[24:08] Speaker 3: in immune system that's like a specialized task force, in
[24:12] Speaker 3: a gut microbiome that acts like your internal intelligence agency.
[24:17] Speaker 3: But even the best fortress has its entry points, and
[24:21] Speaker 3: for human those front doors are your nose in your mouth. Statistically,
[24:27] Speaker 3: over eighty percent of all infections enter the body through
[24:30] Speaker 3: these two openings. If you think about that just for
[24:34] Speaker 3: a second. We spend thousands of dollars on home security systems, right,
[24:39] Speaker 3: but we leave the two most important interances to our
[24:42] Speaker 3: health wide open and unprotected. So today, we know the
[24:46] Speaker 3: air quality in the concentration of airborne irritants have reached
[24:50] Speaker 3: a point where just washing your hands isn't enough. You
[24:55] Speaker 3: have to wash your air and you have to scrub
[24:58] Speaker 3: your breath. Years we've talked on the show about the
[25:03] Speaker 3: gut microbiome, and for good reason, but part of the
[25:07] Speaker 3: frontier of longevity and also wellness. Today we need to
[25:10] Speaker 3: talk about that oral in the nasal microbiome. Your nose
[25:14] Speaker 3: isn't just a vacuum for oxygen, it's a sophisticated filtration system.
[25:20] Speaker 3: And your mouth isn't just for eating, it's the gateway
[25:23] Speaker 3: to your digestive and you're also your cardiovascular health. And
[25:27] Speaker 3: when these microbiomes they get out of balance, the bad guys,
[25:32] Speaker 3: the bacteria and the allergens, they don't just pass through,
[25:35] Speaker 3: They move in, They stick to your tissue, They multiply
[25:40] Speaker 3: and they start causing trouble. And this is where most
[25:43] Speaker 3: people go wrong. They use harsh chemicals or antibiotics that
[25:47] Speaker 3: kill everything, the good and the bad. That's like burning
[25:51] Speaker 3: down the house to get rid of a spider. Right.
[25:54] Speaker 3: So this health alternative that I'm going to bring you
[25:56] Speaker 3: today is different, but it's also something we talk about
[25:59] Speaker 3: a lot on the show. It's about transformational hygiene and
[26:04] Speaker 3: it uses a secret weapon and that's called xylotol. So
[26:08] Speaker 3: let's get into the why the why. It comes directly
[26:11] Speaker 3: from two brands that I trust, and that's clear in
[26:15] Speaker 3: Spry and Xylotol is the star. And it all comes
[26:20] Speaker 3: down to a concept called anti adherents. You see, bacteria,
[26:25] Speaker 3: they're like little hitchhikers with sticky hands. To make you sick,
[26:29] Speaker 3: they have to grab onto your cell walls and hate
[26:32] Speaker 3: on for dear life. And if they can't stick, they
[26:35] Speaker 3: can't colonize. And if they can't colonize, they just get
[26:39] Speaker 3: washed away, in this case, washed away with xylotol naturally.
[26:43] Speaker 3: And xylotol is great because it's naturally occurring into bad bacteria.
[26:47] Speaker 3: Xylotol it looks like a delicious meal. But here's the catch.
[26:52] Speaker 3: They can't metabolize it. The bad bacteria can't. When they
[26:56] Speaker 3: try to eat it, they lose their ability to stick
[26:59] Speaker 3: to your tissue. It's essentially like putting a shield on
[27:02] Speaker 3: your nose and in your mouth. The bad guys they
[27:05] Speaker 3: just slide right off and they head straight for the exit.
[27:09] Speaker 3: So let's go go ahead and talk about that front door,
[27:11] Speaker 3: and that's the nose. During this season, this allergy season,
[27:15] Speaker 3: right now, your nasal passages, they're taking a beating every
[27:19] Speaker 3: breath you take. It's like pulling in all this dust
[27:22] Speaker 3: and dander and pollutants and also pathogens. And if you're
[27:26] Speaker 3: using a sailing spray, you're doing okay, but you're missing
[27:31] Speaker 3: that magic ingredient Clear, and it's spelled with an x
[27:35] Speaker 3: x L E R. The nasal sprays that they make
[27:38] Speaker 3: combine that soothing sailine with xylotov and it doesn't just moisturize,
[27:44] Speaker 3: it cleanses. It's like a nasal car wash. And when
[27:47] Speaker 3: you use Clear, you are physically washing away the allergens
[27:51] Speaker 3: and also that bacteria that are trying to set up shop.
[27:54] Speaker 3: So I tell my patients all the time, you wouldn't
[27:56] Speaker 3: go a full day without washing your face or brushing
[27:59] Speaker 3: your teeth, So why would you go a full day
[28:02] Speaker 3: without washing your nose. It's a simple, and in this case,
[28:05] Speaker 3: it's an all natural habit that can change your life.
[28:08] Speaker 3: And because it's drug free and non addictive, you can
[28:11] Speaker 3: use it as often as you need to. It's safe
[28:13] Speaker 3: for everyone from toddlers to your great grandparents. Now let's
[28:18] Speaker 3: pivot on to that second front door, and that is
[28:21] Speaker 3: the mouth. Your oral health is this massive predictor of
[28:24] Speaker 3: your overall longevity. We know now that there is a
[28:28] Speaker 3: direct link between oral bacteria and heart health. And this
[28:32] Speaker 3: isn't just about avoiding the cavities. It's also about protecting
[28:35] Speaker 3: your entire system. And this is where spry comes in.
[28:40] Speaker 3: Between meals, your mouth it becomes acidic, which is a
[28:43] Speaker 3: perfect environment for bad bacteria to thrive. So spry it
[28:47] Speaker 3: has a full lineup toothpaste, mouth rents, gum, and mints,
[28:52] Speaker 3: But today I want to go ahead and focus on
[28:54] Speaker 3: spry gum and mints, and these are loaded with xylotol.
[28:58] Speaker 3: When you pop up a piece of spry gum, two
[29:01] Speaker 3: things happen. You increase your saliva production. You stimulate this
[29:05] Speaker 3: flow of saliva, which is your body's natural defense mechanism
[29:09] Speaker 3: in your mouth. Saliva buffer's acid in It reminializes your teeth.
[29:15] Speaker 3: It also, spry gum and mints also decrease your ability
[29:19] Speaker 3: for bacteria to thrive. The xylotol goes to work. It
[29:22] Speaker 3: prevents the bacteria from sticking to your teeth and your gums.
[29:26] Speaker 3: This is an easy health hack that you can put
[29:29] Speaker 3: into works right away. You're already chewing gum, why not
[29:33] Speaker 3: choose something that actually is working for you. Spry is
[29:37] Speaker 3: one hundred percent xylotop so there's no spart time or
[29:41] Speaker 3: artificial sweeteners, no junk, just pure tasty goodness. So this
[29:46] Speaker 3: conventional approach to seasonal allergy use it Usually it involves
[29:50] Speaker 3: these antihistamines that leave you feeling like a zombie or
[29:52] Speaker 3: decongestans that keep you up all night. They address the
[29:56] Speaker 3: symptoms after the fact. So this health alternative approach, the
[30:00] Speaker 3: Spry and Clear approach, is proactive prevention. We're not waiting
[30:05] Speaker 3: for the sneezes to take place over and over again.
[30:08] Speaker 3: We're in reinforcing the doors before the storm even hits.
[30:12] Speaker 3: It's natural, it's science based, and frankly, it just makes sense.
[30:16] Speaker 3: So I don't want you to take my word for it.
[30:17] Speaker 3: I want you to experience the difference when you can
[30:20] Speaker 3: actually breathe through your nose and when your mouth feels
[30:23] Speaker 3: like it's dentist clean all day long. You can find
[30:26] Speaker 3: the entire line of Clear in Spry products at almost
[30:29] Speaker 3: any health food store. Including natural grocers, retail giants like Target,
[30:34] Speaker 3: your local pharmacy or CVS, and of course on Amazon
[30:38] Speaker 3: are through their website at Clear. But I also want
[30:40] Speaker 3: you to go ahead to their website and do a
[30:42] Speaker 3: full dive into the science and see those clinical studies.
[30:45] Speaker 3: All I got to do is head over to clear
[30:47] Speaker 3: dot com. It spelled x L e R dot com.

[33:19] Speaker 7: I'm a bus service number simon, the one never sing.
[33:38] Speaker 3: Welcome back to Health Talk America Presents the Doctor Bob
[33:41] Speaker 3: Martin Show. I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and thank you for
[33:44] Speaker 3: joining us today. We're gonna go ahead and dive straight
[33:47] Speaker 3: into our health outrage of the week. Jeez, you don't.
[33:55] Speaker 7: Come each time for the health abridge. It's not the blood.
[34:02] Speaker 3: Today we have to talk about something that makes my
[34:05] Speaker 3: blood boil. It's a story that sounds like it was
[34:08] Speaker 3: ripped straight out of a movie. But I promise you
[34:11] Speaker 3: this is the reality of the modern medical industrial complex.
[34:15] Speaker 3: If we're not careful. I want you to imagine something
[34:18] Speaker 3: for a second. It's imagine you're eighty four years young.
[34:22] Speaker 3: You've lived a full life, You've got family, you've got stories,
[34:25] Speaker 3: and you've got a lot of miles left on that odometer.
[34:29] Speaker 3: But one morning you wake up with the kind of
[34:31] Speaker 3: lightning bolt. Back pain, the kind that makes you find
[34:36] Speaker 3: it hard to catch your breath. You do what many do,
[34:39] Speaker 3: and that's you head to the emergency room, looking for help,
[34:42] Speaker 3: looking for a cause, looking for a way to get
[34:45] Speaker 3: back on your feet. But instead of a warm blanket
[34:48] Speaker 3: in a diagnostic plan, the first thing the experts offer
[34:52] Speaker 3: you is a way to end your life. This isn't
[34:56] Speaker 3: a campfire ghost story, folks. This happened to a lady
[34:59] Speaker 3: name Merriam. She walked into an er in British Columbia,
[35:04] Speaker 3: Canada that's suffering from agonizing back pain. And now, as
[35:08] Speaker 3: someone who specializes in sports medicine, I see severe back
[35:11] Speaker 3: pain every single day. I know how scary it can be.
[35:15] Speaker 3: You feel broken, you feel like you may not walk
[35:18] Speaker 3: right again. But what happened next is the ultimate health outrage.
[35:23] Speaker 3: Before a doctor even sat down to discuss a physical
[35:27] Speaker 3: therapy plan, an anti inflammatory protocol, or even a simple
[35:31] Speaker 3: X ray, Mariam was approached by MADE and that stands
[35:35] Speaker 3: for medical assistance in dying. I want you to think
[35:39] Speaker 3: about that. Let us sink in for a second. Before
[35:42] Speaker 3: the healing started, they offered her an exit plan, and
[35:46] Speaker 3: what this we're talking about? Death? As a first line
[35:50] Speaker 3: of treatment for musculo skeletal issues. This is a woman
[35:53] Speaker 3: who wasn't terminal, She wasn't at the end of her rope.
[35:57] Speaker 3: She was just in pain, and the system looked at
[36:00] Speaker 3: her age, looked at her symptoms, and basically asked, do
[36:03] Speaker 3: you want to check out now and save us the trouble.
[36:07] Speaker 3: This is the dark side of socialized medicine in that
[36:11] Speaker 3: death first approach that is creeping into global healthcare. When
[36:15] Speaker 3: the system becomes about efficiency and cost cutting rather than
[36:20] Speaker 3: individual wellness and holistic care. Humans become more like line
[36:26] Speaker 3: items on a spreadsheet. And if you're expensive patient, maybe
[36:31] Speaker 3: you're older, maybe your recovery will take a few more
[36:34] Speaker 3: months of rehab. The system starts looking for the cheapest solution,
[36:38] Speaker 3: and let's be honest, there's nothing cheaper for government run
[36:42] Speaker 3: healthcare than a patient who isn't there. This is a
[36:47] Speaker 3: direct assault on medical ethics. The hippocratic oath says first,
[36:52] Speaker 3: do no harm. Offering a lethal injection to a woman
[36:55] Speaker 3: with a back eight isn't just harm. It's total abandonment
[37:00] Speaker 3: of a physician's duty. And we're seeing this shift where
[37:04] Speaker 3: the goal is no longer to find the root cause
[37:06] Speaker 3: of suffering, but to simply eliminate the sufferer. Now Here
[37:11] Speaker 3: is the part that will make you stand up and cheer. Mariam.
[37:15] Speaker 3: She didn't take the bait, She didn't listen to the
[37:18] Speaker 3: death program peddlers. She stuck to her guns. She got
[37:21] Speaker 3: the actual medical care that she deserved, and she did
[37:24] Speaker 3: the work. So we fast forward just a short while
[37:27] Speaker 3: after this outrageous er visit. Did she end up in
[37:31] Speaker 3: a hospice bed?
[37:33] Speaker 5: No.
[37:34] Speaker 3: Mariam recently returned from a trip to Guatemala where she
[37:37] Speaker 3: climbed a volcano. Hear that again, an eighty four year
[37:41] Speaker 3: old woman who took the medical system essentially tried to
[37:45] Speaker 3: write her off, was scaling volcanic peaks in Central America.
[37:50] Speaker 3: That is the power of the human spirit. That is
[37:53] Speaker 3: the power of choosing life over convenience. It proves that
[37:57] Speaker 3: pain is not a permanent state, in that a is
[38:00] Speaker 3: not a reason to stop living. If she had listen
[38:03] Speaker 3: to those er professionals, that volcano would still be there,
[38:08] Speaker 3: but Miriam would not. So the story is a wake
[38:11] Speaker 3: up call for every single person that's listening right now.
[38:15] Speaker 3: We have to be our own health advocates and be
[38:18] Speaker 3: our own best doctor. And when you walk in a
[38:22] Speaker 3: clinic or a hospital, you have to realize that there
[38:25] Speaker 3: is a massive divide between conventional medical overreach in true
[38:30] Speaker 3: patient centered care. So in my practice, we look at
[38:34] Speaker 3: the body as a whole. If your back hurts, we
[38:37] Speaker 3: look at your alignment, your gait, your nutrition, in your
[38:41] Speaker 3: inflammation levels. We don't just mask the symptoms. We look
[38:46] Speaker 3: for a basically the root cause, and we certainly don't
[38:50] Speaker 3: offer a death program. We need to get back to
[38:54] Speaker 3: a place where we value longevity in the wisdom of
[38:58] Speaker 3: our elders. In healthcare, we should be doing everything in
[39:02] Speaker 3: our power to keep people like Merriam alive and active
[39:06] Speaker 3: in mobile in climbing volcanoes. Instead, we're seeing a payday
[39:12] Speaker 3: loan mentality in medicine. Take the quick, the easy, and
[39:15] Speaker 3: often destructive route now and worry about the consequences later.
[39:21] Speaker 3: This is about the value of life. It's the fact
[39:25] Speaker 3: that your eighties, your nineties, and even into your one
[39:29] Speaker 3: hundred year of life can be the most rewarding years
[39:33] Speaker 3: if you have the physical health to enjoy them. We
[39:35] Speaker 3: should be investing in better physical therapy, better chiropractic care,
[39:40] Speaker 3: and better nutrition, not more efficient ways to end life. So, folks,
[39:44] Speaker 3: Mariam is a hero. She looked at the death first
[39:47] Speaker 3: system in the eye and said not today. I've got
[39:50] Speaker 3: a mountain to climb. So let her story be a
[39:52] Speaker 3: reminder that you are worth the affter, your health is
[39:55] Speaker 3: worth the fight. Doctor Adam Brockman, stay empowered, stay educated,
[39:59] Speaker 3: and for heavy and sake, say tuned to Health Talk

[41:29] Speaker 3: Welcome back. You're listening to Health Talk America presents the
[41:33] Speaker 3: Doctor Bob Martin Show. I'm doctor Adam Brockman. In folks,
[41:36] Speaker 3: It's now time for our health Mystery of the Week,
[41:40] Speaker 3: and this is one that might be sitting right in
[41:42] Speaker 3: your medicine cabinet. I want you to imagine this someone
[41:58] Speaker 3: that has dealt with a a little patch of exima
[42:02] Speaker 3: on her elbow since she was a kid. Her doctor
[42:05] Speaker 3: gave her a steroid cream and it worked until it didn't.
[42:08] Speaker 3: So fast forward ten years and now she's dealing with
[42:13] Speaker 3: an itchy elbow. Her entire body is a shade of
[42:16] Speaker 3: red that you'd only expect on a boiled lobster. Her
[42:20] Speaker 3: skin is literally peeling off in sheets, and she's describing
[42:24] Speaker 3: something that she calls a bone deep itch. She goes
[42:29] Speaker 3: back to their specialist, and what do they say, Your
[42:32] Speaker 3: exuma is just getting worse. Here take this stronger, more
[42:36] Speaker 3: expensive steroid. But here's the kicker, and this is the
[42:40] Speaker 3: mystery that we're cracking a day. She doesn't have exima anymore.
[42:45] Speaker 3: She has something known as tsw it's topical steroid withdrawal,
[42:51] Speaker 3: also known as red skin syndrome. This is the ultimate
[42:55] Speaker 3: example of band aid medicine gone wrong. We've been conditioned
[42:58] Speaker 3: to think that if you're skin is angry, we should
[43:01] Speaker 3: shut it up with a steroid. But those creams are
[43:04] Speaker 3: like a payday loan for your health. You get a
[43:07] Speaker 3: little relief now, but the interest rate is continue to climb.
[43:12] Speaker 3: When you stop the cream, your blood vessel vessels, they
[43:15] Speaker 3: go into massive inflammatory rebound. It's a systemic crisis, not
[43:20] Speaker 3: a skin crisis. To solve this red skin riddle, we
[43:25] Speaker 3: have to stop looking at the surface and start looking
[43:27] Speaker 3: at gut health and inflammation levels inside. We've seen this
[43:32] Speaker 3: huge improvement sometimes in practice and skin clarity and patients
[43:36] Speaker 3: who ditch the suppression mindset and focus on a holistic
[43:39] Speaker 3: detox in gut repair. So this patient didn't need a
[43:44] Speaker 3: stronger drug, she needed to let her body find its
[43:47] Speaker 3: own balance again. So if you're trapped in that cycle
[43:50] Speaker 3: of cream, clear, flare, repeat, it's time to ask the
[43:54] Speaker 3: hard questions. Is your medicine to cure or is it
[43:58] Speaker 3: the cause?
[43:59] Speaker 5: All right?
