## Transcript

[0:05] Speaker 1: The Thinking Atheist. It's not a person, it's a symbol,
[0:09] Speaker 1: an idea.
[0:10] Speaker 2: The population of atheists this country is going through.
[0:13] Speaker 1: The rule, rejecting faith, pursuing knowledge, challenging the sacred. If
[0:18] Speaker 1: I tell the truth, it's because I tell the truth,
[0:22] Speaker 1: not because.
[0:22] Speaker 2: I put my hand on a book and made a.
[0:24] Speaker 1: Wish and working together for a more rational world.
[0:29] Speaker 2: Take the risk of thinking. Feel so much more happiness, truth, fusion,
[0:32] Speaker 2: wisdom will come to you that way.
[0:35] Speaker 1: Assume nothing, question everything, and start thinking. This is the
[0:43] Speaker 1: Thinking Atheist podcast hosted by Seth Andrews.
[0:56] Speaker 2: This is just a bonus broadcast the audio of a
[0:59] Speaker 2: recent live stream on YouTube. The YouTube link in the
[1:04] Speaker 2: description box in case you want to watch. It is
[1:09] Speaker 2: an odd day for us to do this. It's normally
[1:12] Speaker 2: a Monday night show, but I was recovering from a
[1:16] Speaker 2: busy weekend on Sunday. I was in Wichita speaking to
[1:21] Speaker 2: Wichita Oasis, wonderful group there. But the night before I
[1:26] Speaker 2: had been on a paranormal investigation. Now I'm going to
[1:32] Speaker 2: come back to that here in just a second. By
[1:34] Speaker 2: the way, there is a phone number is in the
[1:38] Speaker 2: title and in the description box. There's also a weblink
[1:41] Speaker 2: if you want to dial in, because I'm interested in
[1:44] Speaker 2: shit you've seen or you think you've seen that was unexplained.
[1:50] Speaker 2: And it's interesting because there are some atheists who believe
[1:54] Speaker 2: in ghosts, no gods, but spirits. I'm not one of
[1:59] Speaker 2: those people. I wasn't when I went on the ghost hunt,
[2:03] Speaker 2: which is they hate when I call it a ghost hunt,
[2:06] Speaker 2: but I love this kind of thing. I love horror movies.
[2:09] Speaker 2: In fact, in honor of the stream, I'm wearing my
[2:12] Speaker 2: Fangoria T shirt today because in fact, I had a
[2:15] Speaker 2: chance to interview Phil Noble Nobile rather a junior, the
[2:19] Speaker 2: editor in chief at the Fangoria. There's a video of that.
[2:22] Speaker 2: It's totally unrelated, but that's just my jam anyway. But
[2:27] Speaker 2: right now I am only able to stream this on YouTube.
[2:30] Speaker 2: Facebook has blocked me from streaming for god I don't
[2:34] Speaker 2: know how long. And the reason is is Facebook. So
[2:44] Speaker 2: here's what happened. I posted a meme or it was
[2:49] Speaker 2: in my queue. I have a category Q of memes
[2:53] Speaker 2: that go out all day every day, and there must
[2:56] Speaker 2: be a thousand of them, right, I mean, I out
[2:58] Speaker 2: have time to monitor social media all the time, so
[3:00] Speaker 2: I try to update news links. But I have a
[3:02] Speaker 2: program that sort of shoots out a shotgun of other things,
[3:08] Speaker 2: classic videos, older podcasts, memes, etc. And there's one that
[3:13] Speaker 2: shows feed standing on the top of a cliff, and
[3:16] Speaker 2: it's a riff on evolution is just a theory, which
[3:19] Speaker 2: is one of the complaints that creationists have. Well, let's
[3:22] Speaker 2: not proven. It's just a theory, meaning they don't understand
[3:25] Speaker 2: what a scientific theory is. So the meme has feet
[3:29] Speaker 2: on the edge of a cliff looking down and it says,
[3:32] Speaker 2: go ahead and jump. Gravity is just a theory. Now
[3:37] Speaker 2: in context, no one is wishing anybody harm, but it
[3:43] Speaker 2: is exposing this word theory in the proper context. Facebook
[3:50] Speaker 2: sees the meme and gives me a strike and says
[3:53] Speaker 2: content warning. Why has it been marked? I actually it
[3:58] Speaker 2: didn't even show me what it was, and it wouldn't
[4:01] Speaker 2: let me pull up the image. You are not allowed
[4:03] Speaker 2: to see the image that you posted that we have
[4:06] Speaker 2: posted a strike on Jesus Christ, what the hell is it?
[4:09] Speaker 2: So I'm fishing around, fishing around, I don't even know
[4:12] Speaker 2: how I finally stumbled across it, and it was a
[4:18] Speaker 2: strike against me for encouraging people to commit suicide, and
[4:24] Speaker 2: then it said, are you struggling with depression? Are you
[4:29] Speaker 2: yourself suicidal? We have resources, here's a hotline. Now, I'm
[4:35] Speaker 2: not encouraging people to kill themselves. I was trying to
[4:40] Speaker 2: use an example to prove the absurdity of this. It's
[4:43] Speaker 2: only a theory, apologetic, so I appeal immediately. Sixty seconds
[4:51] Speaker 2: it says you have been reviewed by a human being
[4:55] Speaker 2: and this block is confirmed. You now have a strike
[4:58] Speaker 2: on your account. Warning if there are another few strikes,
[5:04] Speaker 2: your account is at risk of deletion because you have
[5:09] Speaker 2: encouraged people to kill themselves. Part of your penalty is
[5:14] Speaker 2: that you cannot do this, including streaming live on Facebook.
[5:19] Speaker 2: And even tell me how long thirty days, sixty days,
[5:24] Speaker 2: a year, two years, forever. I get it. You have
[5:30] Speaker 2: to use algorithms, you have to use even AI whatever
[5:36] Speaker 2: whatever to try to manage how many Facebook users are
[5:41] Speaker 2: there on the planet, like four billion of them or something.
[5:44] Speaker 2: I understand the logistical challenges, but come on, really, I'm
[5:52] Speaker 2: encouraging people to commit suicide. Therefore I am in violation
[5:59] Speaker 2: of their code of conduct and their policies, and I
[6:03] Speaker 2: am penalized. Therefore I cannot stream. I'm just bitching speaking,
[6:09] Speaker 2: I'm bitching. A lot of people are. I've watched the
[6:13] Speaker 2: recent video of Jordan Peterson. I talked to David McAfee,
[6:19] Speaker 2: who was in the room with the Peterson versus twenty
[6:23] Speaker 2: atheist debate, and how horribly he did. Some people watched
[6:26] Speaker 2: the whole thing and had comment on it, the whole piece,
[6:29] Speaker 2: that the whole conversation that David and I had, and
[6:31] Speaker 2: other people were like, I lasted ten minutes. I couldn't
[6:34] Speaker 2: take it. I cannot take the man. A few people
[6:37] Speaker 2: were like, oh, he mopped the floor with those atheists.
[6:42] Speaker 2: You guys are simply trying to villainize. You're misrepresenting the
[6:46] Speaker 2: things he was trying to say. What a wise man,
[6:49] Speaker 2: what a great thinker. Well, just for you, there is
[6:53] Speaker 2: a website. It is called the Wisdom of Peterson dot com.
[7:00] Speaker 2: It is and I'm going to share this screen. It
[7:04] Speaker 2: is a word solid generator is like a random phrase
[7:08] Speaker 2: generator that sound with stuff that sounds like Jordan Peterson
[7:13] Speaker 2: and I have been most amused. I think I shared
[7:15] Speaker 2: this maybe last year or the year before. I come
[7:18] Speaker 2: back to the site occasionally, so it just generates random stuff.
[7:22] Speaker 2: Here's one the dominance hierarchy creates species specific chaos. Clicking more.
[7:31] Speaker 2: Wisdom embodying the logos is a foundation of a jumble
[7:40] Speaker 2: of photons. Refresh. Greatness is beyond unparalleled dominance hierarchy. I
[7:52] Speaker 2: could do this all day. Yes, there is one for
[7:55] Speaker 2: Deepak Chopra as well, The Wisdom of Chopra website refresh.
[8:00] Speaker 2: The traditional archetype comprehends humble dominance hierarchy. The Pinocchio archetype
[8:09] Speaker 2: depends on deep belonging. Just a couple more because I'm amused.
[8:15] Speaker 2: The Pinocchio archetype is an ingredient of visible life. Roughly speaking,
[8:21] Speaker 2: this sounds just like Jordan Peterson. Experiential truth shapes mortal knowledge. Ah,
[8:28] Speaker 2: he's so wise, He's so deep. It's awesome. That's awesome.
[8:35] Speaker 2: The man is embraced as a great thinker. The Christian
[8:38] Speaker 2: who refuses to admit he is a Christian. The guy
[8:43] Speaker 2: who invokes the Bible and says that the Old Testament
[8:47] Speaker 2: condemns slavery because Moses rescued the enslaved Israelites. A few
[8:54] Speaker 2: chapters later, what do we have God instructing masters how
[8:58] Speaker 2: to own slaves? I swear been watching this story out
[9:10] Speaker 2: of Ukraine. Holy shit, you and I are embarking on.
[9:16] Speaker 2: I'm just babbling here while I wait for a callers
[9:18] Speaker 2: to populate with their own stories of weird encounters and sightings,
[9:22] Speaker 2: or maybe stuff that you saw and then debunked. I'm
[9:25] Speaker 2: interested in those things. I really want to talk to
[9:27] Speaker 2: you today. You and I are now on the precipice
[9:32] Speaker 2: of a whole new type of warfare. Do you read
[9:35] Speaker 2: about Zelensky and Ukraine. They took these semi trucks that
[9:40] Speaker 2: were shielded so that they couldn't be scanned from the outside,
[9:47] Speaker 2: and they just I guess had been a year planning.
[9:50] Speaker 2: They drove these things all around Russia. They parked them,
[9:55] Speaker 2: I guess they left them on the order of days.
[9:58] Speaker 2: Inside were fully charged drones with a I guess they
[10:04] Speaker 2: could reach a radius of maybe a mile or a
[10:06] Speaker 2: mile and a half. They were parked near hard target
[10:09] Speaker 2: strategic targets, including airfields. All of a sudden, the trucks
[10:15] Speaker 2: open up, the drones go everywhere. The drones are carrying bombs,
[10:21] Speaker 2: and Zelenski fox putin up. I don't know how much
[10:27] Speaker 2: of their military was destroyed, how many of their planes,
[10:31] Speaker 2: including planes that are no longer in production, which means
[10:35] Speaker 2: they cannot be replaced. I mean, it's bizarre and wild
[10:41] Speaker 2: and clever and kind of awesome, but it's also a
[10:44] Speaker 2: bit terrifying because we know now that this is the
[10:49] Speaker 2: beginning of a new type of warfare where the tiniest,
[10:53] Speaker 2: almost the tiniest of drones now can sneak in through
[10:59] Speaker 2: the slats into your attic to surveil or harm. And
[11:04] Speaker 2: then what countermeasures are put in place for that any
[11:12] Speaker 2: rogue agent anywhere. It can be used to help fight
[11:17] Speaker 2: terror and harm and oppression, it can be used to
[11:20] Speaker 2: perpetrate terror, harm and oppression. And then what does that
[11:23] Speaker 2: look like with drones? What just crossing each other in
[11:26] Speaker 2: the sky. And I'd say, well, you know, I just
[11:29] Speaker 2: want to say inside, that doesn't help, because we can
[11:34] Speaker 2: be surveilled indoors, we can be found indoors, we can
[11:38] Speaker 2: be bombed indoors. But I will say I was high
[11:42] Speaker 2: fiving some people when I saw this reciprocal attack. I mean,
[11:48] Speaker 2: the idea that Putin got kicked and the boss is awesome.
[11:53] Speaker 2: Fuck that guy. I just it's just and I look
[11:59] Speaker 2: at the I spoke about this at Wichita Oasis, like
[12:03] Speaker 2: you know, there are people all around him that know
[12:05] Speaker 2: he's out of control, like why is he still in power?
[12:11] Speaker 2: And this is true for all authoritarians. I think you know,
[12:14] Speaker 2: there were people and there have been resistance movements. But really,
[12:23] Speaker 2: like most of the Russian people, even those who say
[12:25] Speaker 2: they support Putin's assault on Ukraine, admit they don't know
[12:30] Speaker 2: what his goals are. What's he trying to accomplish? I
[12:34] Speaker 2: do not know. Someone explained this, So yeah, and Putin
[12:41] Speaker 2: is such an arrogant prick just to I just it's
[12:46] Speaker 2: sweet ambrosia. It is sweet nectar. Props to Zolenska. Just
[12:54] Speaker 2: props to that guy. All right, hashtag I stand with Ukraine. Wow.
[13:04] Speaker 2: Also on the military front, I'm just going to read
[13:07] Speaker 2: this to you. I'm kind of in a mood today.
[13:09] Speaker 2: Before we talk about God, I'm kind of a mood.
[13:12] Speaker 2: So I'm sorry. You ever have those days, You're just
[13:19] Speaker 2: check this out and you this is a well informed audience,
[13:24] Speaker 2: so I'm sure you're probably all over this already. Military
[13:28] Speaker 2: dot Com is one of many outlets covering this story.
[13:33] Speaker 2: Pete Hegseth orders the Navy to strip the name of
[13:36] Speaker 2: gay rights icon Harvey Milk from Ship Defense Secretary Pete
[13:43] Speaker 2: hag Seth has ordered the Navy to take the rare
[13:45] Speaker 2: step of renaming a ship one that bears the name
[13:49] Speaker 2: of a gay rights icon. Documents and sources show Military
[13:54] Speaker 2: dot Com reviewed a memorandum from the Office of the
[13:57] Speaker 2: Secretary of the Navy, the official who holds the power
[14:01] Speaker 2: to name Navy ships, that showed the Sea Service had
[14:04] Speaker 2: come up with rollout plans for the renaming of the
[14:08] Speaker 2: oilers ship USNS Harvey Milk. The official also said the
[14:18] Speaker 2: timing of the announcement occurring during Pride Month was intentional.
[14:29] Speaker 2: The memo reviewed by military dot Com noted that the
[14:32] Speaker 2: renaming was being done so that there is quote alignment
[14:36] Speaker 2: with President and sec deaf objectives and sec nav priorities
[14:42] Speaker 2: of re establishing.
[14:44] Speaker 3: The warrior culture.
[14:47] Speaker 2: Dun dunt dunn. Every day just a brand new example
[14:54] Speaker 2: of awful. Every day you wake up and Coach, I'm
[15:00] Speaker 2: telling you this no King's protest that's coming up a
[15:03] Speaker 2: week from Saturday. I think it's going to be People
[15:07] Speaker 2: are pissed, and I love the counter that we're seeing
[15:13] Speaker 2: all across, whether it's among human beings and neighborhoods and
[15:17] Speaker 2: cities by mayors by governors, by corporations. I saw a
[15:24] Speaker 2: major sports team I can't remember which one it was,
[15:28] Speaker 2: and they're throwing rainbow flags on everything and say we
[15:32] Speaker 2: love everybody. Right, so they're doing a counter Trump. So
[15:40] Speaker 2: and the no Kings protest, which is going to be
[15:42] Speaker 2: happening in places all around the world. I think, what
[15:46] Speaker 2: is that? Saturday? Is it the fourteenth? Mean?
[15:48] Speaker 4: Look?
[15:50] Speaker 2: Hold, please, Google calendar is my memory? I don't have
[15:58] Speaker 2: a memory anymore. It has to be Google Calendar Saturday
[16:02] Speaker 2: the fifteenth, I believe, Well, you know what no Kings
[16:08] Speaker 2: dot org. Let me pull this up and let you
[16:12] Speaker 2: see the website share screen. No kings, Okay, no kings
[16:17] Speaker 2: in America, we don't do kings. They've defied our courts,
[16:21] Speaker 2: deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights,
[16:25] Speaker 2: and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too far.
[16:29] Speaker 2: No thrones, no crowns, no king. On June fourteenth, we
[16:35] Speaker 2: rise up and then there's a map of locations all
[16:40] Speaker 2: around the country. And I know other nations are going
[16:43] Speaker 2: to have a No King's Day as well. There are
[16:45] Speaker 2: ways to spread the word. There are ways to maybe
[16:49] Speaker 2: rally a protest if there's not one already in your city.
[16:55] Speaker 2: People are pissed. I think it's gonna be huge. Why
[16:59] Speaker 2: are they doing it on a Friday? That doesn't make
[17:01] Speaker 2: any sense to me? Did I get that right now?
[17:05] Speaker 2: I got to look again, hang on calendar. Sorry, thanks
[17:12] Speaker 2: for your patience. Saturday the fourteenth, I was looking at
[17:15] Speaker 2: it incorrectly. Yes, Saturday, I think it's at noon. Can
[17:19] Speaker 2: be huge, huge, and I'll be there. I've got a
[17:25] Speaker 2: sign with Jefferson quote on it, but I'm thinking of
[17:28] Speaker 2: making a fresh one for the new protest. I struggled
[17:31] Speaker 2: because part of me wants to do one of the
[17:33] Speaker 2: snarky signs. I mean, it has a message, but it
[17:36] Speaker 2: also has a little bit of a razor's edge to it.
[17:38] Speaker 2: But at the same time, I want people to drive
[17:41] Speaker 2: by to find what I'm doing, not not to look
[17:44] Speaker 2: like an emotional response, even though there is some emotion
[17:46] Speaker 2: involved because I'm pissed, but I want them to see
[17:50] Speaker 2: something factual that diffuses any criticism that they might think
[17:57] Speaker 2: they have. The Jefferson was an example of that. Right
[18:01] Speaker 2: where Jefferson was talking about how opposed he was to monarchies.
[18:06] Speaker 2: I mean, how do these people protest the words of
[18:09] Speaker 2: one of the founding fathers they say they love and
[18:12] Speaker 2: that was kind of a defense mechanism. But I've seen
[18:14] Speaker 2: some great ones out there. I've seen some great, great
[18:17] Speaker 2: signs out there, a lot of them lampooning Trump. I
[18:21] Speaker 2: think one of my favorites. I mean, beyond the signs
[18:25] Speaker 2: we saw April of fourth. But remember back when he
[18:27] Speaker 2: went to Britain. This is back when the Queen was
[18:29] Speaker 2: still alive and they were floating those helium balloon Trump babies,
[18:34] Speaker 2: the giant ones. I just loved the Trump baby blimp.
[18:38] Speaker 2: I just love the blimp. I think we need that here.
[18:43] Speaker 2: And I believe some people during Trump's military military parade
[18:48] Speaker 2: in this country, and don't tell me it's about the
[18:51] Speaker 2: military men and women, don't tell me about it. It's
[18:53] Speaker 2: about the veteran. This is Trump masturbating. He's going to
[18:58] Speaker 2: be out there like fucking kim Oon with his hand
[19:01] Speaker 2: in the air, probably giving a Nazi salute as he
[19:04] Speaker 2: goes down the streets, and everybody's like whoo. But there
[19:09] Speaker 2: are counter events that are going to be happening all that.
[19:12] Speaker 2: There are protests on site. Now there is a concern
[19:16] Speaker 2: that there's going to be violence confrontation. One of the
[19:21] Speaker 2: strategies by authoritarian regimes. And this is not just a
[19:27] Speaker 2: conspiracy theory, but this does happen is somebody who was
[19:32] Speaker 2: part of the authoritarian regime stages a violent act. So
[19:40] Speaker 2: they show up pretending to be one of the resistance
[19:44] Speaker 2: and then they do something horrible. Then the authoritarian regime
[19:50] Speaker 2: can say those people are lawless traitors, they are an American,
[19:55] Speaker 2: they are dangerous, they're emotional, out of control, blah blah blah,
[19:59] Speaker 2: and that then and justifies whatever reciprocal action takes place,
[20:04] Speaker 2: usually involving weapons. So there is some concern that we're
[20:10] Speaker 2: going to see escalation, and there are preemptive measures that
[20:14] Speaker 2: are happening. People are being instructed, they're given guidelines if
[20:18] Speaker 2: this happens. If the police show up and try to
[20:21] Speaker 2: arrest you, here's what you can say, Here's what your
[20:23] Speaker 2: rights are. You know, sit down, do not stand up,
[20:28] Speaker 2: Do not do this gesture with your hand, Do not
[20:31] Speaker 2: be provocative in this specific way, especially if there are
[20:34] Speaker 2: cameras rolling. This can be misinterpreted or disinterpreted against you
[20:40] Speaker 2: and against the cause. There are specific things they are
[20:43] Speaker 2: saying that you can do to try to prevent a
[20:46] Speaker 2: lot of this crazy stuff to be painted, and we're
[20:49] Speaker 2: going to be painted as the villains in the story. Anyway.
[20:54] Speaker 2: Resistance is one of the few things that has given
[20:56] Speaker 2: me joy. Everything else, I just you know, I mean,
[21:00] Speaker 2: the work that we do here is always gratifying. But
[21:04] Speaker 2: this is part of a resistance movement. Resistance against authoritarians,
[21:09] Speaker 2: against high control, culture, against superstition, against Project twenty twenty five,
[21:13] Speaker 2: against the bigots. You know, It's one of the few
[21:18] Speaker 2: things that I feel like is productive, one of the
[21:21] Speaker 2: few doses of medicine I get. Do you feel that way?
[21:26] Speaker 2: Much more to talk about, and I will get to
[21:29] Speaker 2: the ghosts in just a few plus. Your calls hang on.
[21:39] Speaker 2: Our standard for normal has become so distorted that a
[21:44] Speaker 2: few days ago, the President of the United States shared
[21:51] Speaker 2: a post claiming that Joe Biden had been executed in
[21:57] Speaker 2: twenty twenty and replaced by a robot. Nobody blinks. I
[22:04] Speaker 2: mean you and I did. I mean, this is twenty
[22:07] Speaker 2: fifth amen in territory. This is what the hell territory.
[22:11] Speaker 2: This is the man that his cheese has slid off,
[22:15] Speaker 2: his cracker, the wheel is spinning, his hamster is dead,
[22:21] Speaker 2: his elevator does not rise to the top floor. Something
[22:24] Speaker 2: going on, And it's possible that maybe this was just
[22:27] Speaker 2: done as a distraction. Maybe he's having fun tweaking the wokelbs.
[22:33] Speaker 2: Maybe you know, he doesn't want us looking over here,
[22:35] Speaker 2: so he distracts over here by saying the most outrageous shit.
[22:39] Speaker 2: But regardless of what his motivation is, a sitting president
[22:43] Speaker 2: just said he shared a post saying that Biden has
[22:46] Speaker 2: been dead for five years and replaced with a robot
[22:50] Speaker 2: and nobody cares. What the fuck? God, how long's guy
[23:00] Speaker 2: been president? How many goddamn days has the guy been president?
[23:04] Speaker 2: Not even six months? The midterms aren't until the fall
[23:08] Speaker 2: of twenty twenty six. How much more damage is going
[23:11] Speaker 2: to be done? You and I are living in a
[23:15] Speaker 2: culture where they want to just scrub names, the names
[23:18] Speaker 2: of the people in our history. They want to ban
[23:23] Speaker 2: our books, they want to I've got the oligarchs, I mean,
[23:26] Speaker 2: Elon's out of the White House. Yay. He's already had
[23:29] Speaker 2: access to everybody's private information. He's grabbed it. He's probably
[23:33] Speaker 2: absconded somewhere where he's going to unleash AI on it.
[23:36] Speaker 2: And then what are we going to do? The one
[23:40] Speaker 2: good thing about Elon leaving the White House, and I
[23:45] Speaker 2: genuinely predicted that Elon and Trump, those two egos cannot
[23:50] Speaker 2: exist in the same physical space very long at all,
[23:53] Speaker 2: and it's going to explode. And the ego and jealousy
[23:56] Speaker 2: and pettiness and childishness and sociopathy of two these two billionaires,
[24:02] Speaker 2: they cannot exist in the same space for long now.
[24:04] Speaker 2: I thought it was going to blow up in February,
[24:06] Speaker 2: which was optimistic. I didn't think they'd last a few
[24:09] Speaker 2: months after the inauguration. So okay, fine, it's early June,
[24:13] Speaker 2: but it's happening. It's happening. And so now Elon is
[24:18] Speaker 2: he's upset about the big beautiful Bill and he's going
[24:21] Speaker 2: to start weaponizing X against Trump, who he spent hundreds
[24:25] Speaker 2: of millions of dollars to help elect. And now everybody's
[24:28] Speaker 2: going going, hey, wait a minute. We thought Elon was
[24:30] Speaker 2: our hero who was going to go in with thsee
[24:32] Speaker 2: and save the day, and so we support him, but
[24:37] Speaker 2: he's now he's at war with Trump, who we support,
[24:39] Speaker 2: and I don't know who are we supposed to I
[24:40] Speaker 2: guess we'll go with Trump, but Elon's got a lot
[24:43] Speaker 2: more resources, so maybe his war against Trump is going
[24:46] Speaker 2: to be I don't know what. I'm here for this.
[24:49] Speaker 2: I am so here for this war. Let them let
[24:54] Speaker 2: the rattlesnakes turn on each other. I'm in po the
[25:00] Speaker 2: popcorn baby Leonard Leo. Leonard Leo, the dirty, rotten, filthy,
[25:08] Speaker 2: stinking rich billionaire who helped fuel this deocratic takeover of
[25:15] Speaker 2: the government, is now filing a lawsuit against Donald Trump.
[25:23] Speaker 2: So those two were on the outs. Oh yeah, yeah,
[25:27] Speaker 2: let the billionaires go. Yeah, throw them in. It's thunderdome.
[25:32] Speaker 2: If we get lucky, they'll just kill each other. I
[25:35] Speaker 2: mean metaphorically speaking, financially, reputationally, they'll strip each other of
[25:40] Speaker 2: all power and they'll both end up. I don't know,
[25:46] Speaker 2: living on a deserted island. I don't know. We need
[25:51] Speaker 2: like an escape from New York Island, except it's really small,
[25:54] Speaker 2: and we build the wall and we just toss the
[25:56] Speaker 2: two in and then we make you know, make it.
[25:59] Speaker 2: We make sure they have food and water, and then
[26:02] Speaker 2: we go off over here. I'm here, I'm here for that.
[26:07] Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green votes for the big beautiful Bill and
[26:11] Speaker 2: then she comes forward yesterday and she's pissed because there's
[26:16] Speaker 2: something in the bill that she doesn't like. I forget
[26:19] Speaker 2: what it was. Wasn't it something about unfettered AI or something?
[26:24] Speaker 2: I forgive me, I'm I'm I can't remember. And she's like, oh,
[26:28] Speaker 2: I'm very angry that this is in the bill. You
[26:37] Speaker 2: mean the bill that you voted for. That bill, the
[26:41] Speaker 2: one you voted for. So now everybody's like, maybe you
[26:47] Speaker 2: should read the legislation that you are voting for. It's awesome,
[26:52] Speaker 2: it's awesome. I'm here for it. I'm here for it.
[26:56] Speaker 4: Right.
[26:57] Speaker 2: Let them chew each other and spit each other out.
[27:01] Speaker 2: You and I can sit back here in the bleachers
[27:03] Speaker 2: and sip whatever beverage sounds good at the time and
[27:06] Speaker 2: just watch it, watch it go down. But an antidote
[27:15] Speaker 2: to a lot of the despair, hopelessness and helplessness is
[27:19] Speaker 2: finding moments of distraction, which is why I was going
[27:22] Speaker 2: to do this live stream in the first place, which
[27:25] Speaker 2: is now almost a half an hour old, and I
[27:27] Speaker 2: haven't hardly talked at all about it. So fine, here's
[27:32] Speaker 2: what happened. And I shot a ton of video. I
[27:35] Speaker 2: took three cameras. It was hard work, Like you know,
[27:39] Speaker 2: you see these Ghost Adventures crews and they go in.
[27:42] Speaker 2: They got a whole production crew. They I don't know
[27:45] Speaker 2: how many cameraman, they got a sound guy, they got
[27:47] Speaker 2: all these other people. They've got grips that can move
[27:50] Speaker 2: gear and one guy. I drive to uh Coffeeville, Kansas
[27:56] Speaker 2: because I had been invited to join a paranormal investigation
[28:00] Speaker 2: troop from Oklahoma. And they go around and they take
[28:05] Speaker 2: their tools, and so I was invited to join along
[28:09] Speaker 2: by a fellow skeptic name Brandon Brissau, and he does
[28:13] Speaker 2: a lot of these types of things. He's a skeptic.
[28:15] Speaker 2: He hasn't never seen any ghosts, but he's curious and
[28:18] Speaker 2: he finds it interesting. So he said, would you like
[28:21] Speaker 2: to join me? Okay, great, I'm in. And I said,
[28:23] Speaker 2: do they know who I am? Do they know what
[28:27] Speaker 2: they are getting into? He's like, they're totally cool. I'm like, well,
[28:32] Speaker 2: I guarantee you this. If I go, I'm not going
[28:35] Speaker 2: to be a jerk. I'm going to go with respect.
[28:37] Speaker 2: I'm going to have an open mind, right, not so
[28:40] Speaker 2: open that my brain falls out, but I'm going to
[28:42] Speaker 2: have an open mind, and I'm going to be there
[28:44] Speaker 2: as someone who genuinely enjoys ghost genre. I enjoy ghost
[28:50] Speaker 2: stuff as fiction. I tell ghost stories every October. I
[28:54] Speaker 2: have produced two ghost stories audio books available now at
[28:58] Speaker 2: audible dot com. So I'm in, So I show up.
[29:04] Speaker 2: I get there about four o'clock in the afternoon. I
[29:07] Speaker 2: shoot some exteriors. Beautiful mansion with a long and interesting history,
[29:16] Speaker 2: which is really what I enjoyed the most about the
[29:21] Speaker 2: It's an amazing structure, this historical building, which I believe
[29:25] Speaker 2: was finished in the early nineteen hundreds. And there's a
[29:28] Speaker 2: family that you know. The story is kind of a
[29:31] Speaker 2: tragic one, including the loss of many children. But the
[29:35] Speaker 2: idea is is that there are hauntings that have taken
[29:40] Speaker 2: place inside the Brown Mansion, Coffee Bilt, Kansas. So once
[29:45] Speaker 2: the paranormal troop got there, we all had dinner and
[29:49] Speaker 2: we kind of got to know each other, and I tried,
[29:51] Speaker 2: I think I tried to assure them I am not
[29:53] Speaker 2: going to ruin your day. Mostly I'm going to kind
[29:57] Speaker 2: of do my thing. I'm interested in what you are doing.
[30:02] Speaker 2: Then they went to the place we got the tour
[30:07] Speaker 2: and they pulled out their paranormal investigation tools. Now I'm
[30:11] Speaker 2: a little bit like I had Kenny Biddle from Skeptical
[30:18] Speaker 2: inquirer on the podcast, was it last year debunking the
[30:25] Speaker 2: tools that were being used to detect.
[30:31] Speaker 3: Ghosts?
[30:35] Speaker 2: I was like, that's bullshit. That tool is bullshit. That's bullshit.
[30:43] Speaker 2: Didn't say it, and it was interesting, But mostly it
[30:49] Speaker 2: was interesting to watch how they were used, not the
[30:52] Speaker 2: tools themselves, but this propensity for patterns seeking. So you know,
[30:59] Speaker 2: there's a guy I think he had a thermal camera.
[31:01] Speaker 2: So he's walking around and I'm like, well, okay, now
[31:05] Speaker 2: the truth is if you see a hot spot or
[31:08] Speaker 2: a cold spot, okay, you know, welcome to the basement.
[31:13] Speaker 2: You know, welcome to this part of a room where
[31:15] Speaker 2: there may be a dread like a hotspot or a
[31:17] Speaker 2: cold spot. Is this proof of anything? If you see
[31:20] Speaker 2: a humanoid shaped hot spot or cold spot and it's
[31:24] Speaker 2: actually walking in a room where no one exists, I
[31:26] Speaker 2: want to know that. I will give you that guarantee.
[31:29] Speaker 2: I want to know that. Then they had I don't
[31:34] Speaker 2: know what this thing was, but it was a Kenny knows.
[31:37] Speaker 2: It's like a bubble and it's got like a red
[31:39] Speaker 2: light and an antenna on it. What the hell is
[31:43] Speaker 2: that thing? But he's got one, and I think he's
[31:46] Speaker 2: taken it apart, and he's like, this is bullshit. The
[31:49] Speaker 2: EMF meter electromagnetic field meter, and I've got I should
[31:53] Speaker 2: have brought it out of my eye. Actually bought one
[31:55] Speaker 2: for like ten bucks, and that's supposed to detect changes
[32:00] Speaker 2: in the electromagnetic field, which apparently is ghosts if it's
[32:04] Speaker 2: not things like a cell phone or a I don't know,
[32:06] Speaker 2: electrical chord. And this was used it. It was fascinating.
[32:13] Speaker 2: So we were all we were all in a room
[32:16] Speaker 2: and we were all seated, and they took one guy
[32:20] Speaker 2: and they put headphones on him with like rock music
[32:25] Speaker 2: something that was really dense, so we couldn't hear anything
[32:28] Speaker 2: else in the room. And then he had a blindfold on.
[32:31] Speaker 2: Somebody in the paranormal troop took the EMF meter and
[32:34] Speaker 2: they held it out in front, so they're really in
[32:37] Speaker 2: the center of the room. And there was some I
[32:39] Speaker 2: don't know what looked like a light grid. It looked
[32:42] Speaker 2: like that grid in the opening credit to The black Hole,
[32:45] Speaker 2: the movie The black Hole from the nineteen eighties. It
[32:47] Speaker 2: was which I guess detects motion. Maybe they were dots.
[32:52] Speaker 2: They were dots, so you should be able to see
[32:54] Speaker 2: like a warping of the dots if there was a
[32:57] Speaker 2: spirit in the room. And I'm just sitting in this
[33:00] Speaker 2: metal folding chair watching in rapt attention. So they have
[33:06] Speaker 2: the guy sensory headphones. He has the blindfold on, and
[33:10] Speaker 2: the instruction is speak out whatever word pops into your mind,
[33:17] Speaker 2: and we're going to use the EMF meter to see
[33:19] Speaker 2: if it moves. And maybe this has some sort of meaning.
[33:27] Speaker 2: Maybe it is some communication from the spirit world. So
[33:34] Speaker 2: he's there, I don't know whatever's going on in his headphones.
[33:40] Speaker 2: And then he just I forget what the words are,
[33:42] Speaker 2: so I'll just make something up. He's just you know,
[33:46] Speaker 2: he's sitting in the chair and he's like car animal, purple.
[33:57] Speaker 2: This is actually one of the words. Okay, purple. And
[34:01] Speaker 2: this is when it becomes interesting because we begin to
[34:03] Speaker 2: see the propensity by people for patterns seeking, we see
[34:06] Speaker 2: confirmation by us and a tremendous desire to believe. So
[34:13] Speaker 2: the person holding the EMF meter is there, and when
[34:16] Speaker 2: he said purple, the light went up to I don't know,
[34:21] Speaker 2: it was like green, shades of yellow and then red
[34:24] Speaker 2: and it goes up midway yellow. Oh wait a minute,
[34:27] Speaker 2: there were hang on, hang on when you said purple.
[34:31] Speaker 2: There was a marked ramping up of the EMF. You know,
[34:38] Speaker 2: purple was my mother's favorite color, and she passed away
[34:42] Speaker 2: two years ago, but she put she loved purple. She
[34:46] Speaker 2: had purple this and purple that. I wonder, do you
[34:48] Speaker 2: think the spirit is trying to tell me about my mother?
[34:54] Speaker 2: And I'm sitting over here, going, what the hell does
[34:56] Speaker 2: this have to do with the Brown family and their mansion.
[35:01] Speaker 2: It's the equivalent of somebody saying, I'm sensing a word
[35:05] Speaker 2: that starts with M someone in your family. And of
[35:09] Speaker 2: course you and I are like scanning through and if
[35:12] Speaker 2: we have no one in our family that we can
[35:14] Speaker 2: think of who has a name that starts with M,
[35:17] Speaker 2: we can just go back to mom. It's it's mother.
[35:21] Speaker 2: It's just trying to speak to me through the spirit world. Wow.
[35:29] Speaker 2: And he just barked out words, and they would wait
[35:32] Speaker 2: for some sort of a reaction. And I'm looking at
[35:35] Speaker 2: this thing, going how many cell phones are in this room? Like?
[35:39] Speaker 2: Does that pick a hang on, I gotta look this up.
[35:45] Speaker 2: Does EMF meter detect sell phones? EMF meters measure the
[35:55] Speaker 2: natural DC magnetic field of the Earth, which varies according
[35:59] Speaker 2: to locale and proximity of ferro magnetic building material. What
[36:04] Speaker 2: does that mean? I'm terrified of some of these websites,
[36:09] Speaker 2: This one says skeptics. I put this up, but I
[36:12] Speaker 2: don't want to, like give too much bandwidth to what
[36:15] Speaker 2: might be a bogus website. Mobile phones are by definition
[36:21] Speaker 2: devices that can detect EMF, since their ability to communicate
[36:25] Speaker 2: depends on radio frequency fluctuations in EMF. Well, that seems
[36:31] Speaker 2: a reversal phones detecting EMF anyway, thank you, Robert. EMF
[36:38] Speaker 2: meters are used to find wires in walls, and in fact,
[36:41] Speaker 2: at one point I think someone took one and put
[36:44] Speaker 2: it up to a piece of romax and it went
[36:46] Speaker 2: off or went all the way to the red because
[36:48] Speaker 2: there was electricity flowing through it. But what we see
[36:51] Speaker 2: here is the propensity for patterns seeking primates to begin
[36:56] Speaker 2: to connect dots that normally really wouldn't be right. We
[37:00] Speaker 2: are looking for the face, we are looking for the feature.
[37:03] Speaker 2: We are looking to anthropomorphize anything and everything that may
[37:07] Speaker 2: be just a random inhuman occurrence. And I think that's
[37:13] Speaker 2: one of the things I found most fascinating. The other
[37:15] Speaker 2: tool they brought out, and they take this shit so seriously,
[37:18] Speaker 2: they're lovely people. Lovely people. When they brought out this
[37:21] Speaker 2: spirit box. Then I remember specifically the part of the
[37:28] Speaker 2: interview with Kenny Biddle that I had. I should link
[37:31] Speaker 2: that in the description box if I think of it,
[37:33] Speaker 2: so you can go back to it. Because he's got
[37:35] Speaker 2: a whole office full of tools, and what he does
[37:38] Speaker 2: is he takes this shit apart and he's like, well,
[37:39] Speaker 2: here's what's in it, and here's what's in it, and
[37:41] Speaker 2: here's what it does. Near love. Okay. The spirit boxes
[37:45] Speaker 2: essentially think of a radio that scans every frequency from
[37:50] Speaker 2: bottom to top. So FM would be what eighty eight
[37:52] Speaker 2: point eight or whatever FM all the way up to
[37:55] Speaker 2: one oh seven point whatever. And you know there are
[37:59] Speaker 2: what fifteen twenty any radio stations that are staggered all
[38:02] Speaker 2: the way up and down the radio dial. Well, what
[38:04] Speaker 2: the spirit box does is it grabs maybe one second
[38:09] Speaker 2: from each station before it locks into the next one
[38:13] Speaker 2: locks into the next one. So you hear about a
[38:16] Speaker 2: second from each working station. Some quite staticky, but you
[38:21] Speaker 2: will occasionally hear discernible words or parts of words, and
[38:26] Speaker 2: again the pattern seeking brain activates, so it's like as
[38:30] Speaker 2: as and then words will all of a sudden appear
[38:34] Speaker 2: and you could hear anything, and then you begin to
[38:36] Speaker 2: connect dots and say, it sounds like headstone. This means
[38:46] Speaker 2: something who died in the house. Did they get a headstone?
[38:52] Speaker 2: Where is the headstone? What's the significance of that location?
[38:56] Speaker 2: Oh wait, they were buried in anonymous grave. They have
[38:58] Speaker 2: no headstone. They wanted a headstone, they were denied a headstone.
[39:04] Speaker 2: Are they saying, I'm going to die and I will
[39:06] Speaker 2: need a headstone? You can see, I mean, you can
[39:10] Speaker 2: totally see it. So I'm sitting back here watching, trying
[39:13] Speaker 2: not to be that guy, but being that guy quietly,
[39:20] Speaker 2: and I make this guarantee it. I made this to
[39:23] Speaker 2: the group that if there is evidence of something that
[39:33] Speaker 2: has previously been unexplained or wrongly explained, I want to
[39:38] Speaker 2: know that that's the fair approach. If the teapot lifts
[39:45] Speaker 2: off the little shelf thing and it levitates across the
[39:49] Speaker 2: room and pour his invisible tea into a cup that's
[39:52] Speaker 2: been sitting in this place for ninety years and then
[39:55] Speaker 2: goes back and sits on the shelf, I want to
[39:59] Speaker 2: see that, want to know that. And then I want
[40:03] Speaker 2: to say, what is it? Why did it happen. What
[40:08] Speaker 2: are the explanations and is ghosts or dead Grandma our
[40:14] Speaker 2: reasonable explanation that we should pursue. Are these claims testable?
[40:19] Speaker 2: And I find it frustrating that the whole claim is
[40:22] Speaker 2: that these are phenomenon that do not exist in the naturals,
[40:27] Speaker 2: so therefore experiments won't work on them. It was even
[40:31] Speaker 2: said I think at the paranormal investigation that we are
[40:36] Speaker 2: using tools that are not scientific. That's a remarkable statement.
[40:42] Speaker 2: We are using tools that are not scientific. Well, if
[40:47] Speaker 2: they're not scientific, why are we using them? And I
[40:53] Speaker 2: told Brandon this on camera. If we are talking about
[40:56] Speaker 2: the spirit world interacting in the physical realm, it's almost
[41:01] Speaker 2: like the soul interacting with the physical brain to inform identity.
[41:07] Speaker 2: This is still a scientific question. There is a point
[41:12] Speaker 2: where the spiritual would connect with the physical in a
[41:16] Speaker 2: way that could be verified and seen. I think it
[41:23] Speaker 2: remains a scientific question. Now I would do another ghost hunt,
[41:28] Speaker 2: I don't know if I'd take all my gear. I
[41:29] Speaker 2: was exhausted. I think we finished it one in the morning.
[41:34] Speaker 2: You can say I shot video. I'm going to release
[41:36] Speaker 2: a whole profile of it. For a few reasons. One,
[41:39] Speaker 2: I want to chronicle the history of the mansion because
[41:41] Speaker 2: it's remarkable. It's an amazing place. I do want to
[41:45] Speaker 2: get into the lore of the history of the family
[41:48] Speaker 2: and the genesis of these particular haunted tales. I want
[41:54] Speaker 2: to use. I'm going to use production tools. I did
[41:57] Speaker 2: a test on Facebook yesterday just grins. But I took
[42:01] Speaker 2: some of the most benign a footage. I shot an exterior.
[42:05] Speaker 2: I had a shot of me from my car. I
[42:08] Speaker 2: had the iPhone on the dash and We're going up
[42:11] Speaker 2: the road and around the corner and I'm shooting through
[42:14] Speaker 2: the trees. You can take the most vanilla, generic footage
[42:17] Speaker 2: and you can do all some stuff with it in post.
[42:20] Speaker 2: So whenever you see those ghost adventure shows and they
[42:23] Speaker 2: take these guys, three of these guys have the collective
[42:26] Speaker 2: cognitive ability of a lawn chair, and they're like, they
[42:30] Speaker 2: bring tools like this and they run into a mansion
[42:33] Speaker 2: or a sentence. I'd love to go into an abandoned
[42:36] Speaker 2: prison or an old sanitarium, and they're like, hang on,
[42:41] Speaker 2: just a second, I just saw an orb in my camera. Lanbs.
[42:49] Speaker 2: It must be.
[42:50] Speaker 3: The spirit of the proprietor who lived here.
[42:57] Speaker 2: Or it's a speck of dust, and you don't know
[43:01] Speaker 2: how cameras work. Anyway, I'm going to do like I'm
[43:07] Speaker 2: going to play it straight in the video, which I
[43:10] Speaker 2: planned to release closer to Halloween. I think I'm going
[43:12] Speaker 2: to sit on it till late September early October, so
[43:15] Speaker 2: it kind of ties into Halloween. But I'm going to
[43:17] Speaker 2: do a legit profile of the mansion my experience there.
[43:22] Speaker 2: We're going to go through the rooms and tell the stories.
[43:24] Speaker 2: We're going to get into some of the different types
[43:26] Speaker 2: of ghosts that have been alleged. I think we're going
[43:28] Speaker 2: to talk about the tools that are often used that
[43:33] Speaker 2: by paranormal investigators. I think, you know, I'm going to
[43:37] Speaker 2: do kind of a wrap up assummation as a skeptic,
[43:40] Speaker 2: and then I think I'm going to produce. I'm going
[43:45] Speaker 2: to have fun with it. I think I'm just going
[43:47] Speaker 2: to go into the production room and I'm going to
[43:49] Speaker 2: do a whole thing just like what we saw. I'm
[43:53] Speaker 2: going to distort the hell out of it. I'm going
[43:55] Speaker 2: to shoot or produce Dutch angles and throw in audio
[43:58] Speaker 2: and have music and screen and whispers and sound effects
[44:01] Speaker 2: and you know, the eyes of the mother popping in
[44:04] Speaker 2: and rushing down the hall because I shot some of
[44:07] Speaker 2: this stuff and I'm just gonna have it's gonna I'm
[44:09] Speaker 2: gonna do a playground, and so that'll be kind of fun.
[44:12] Speaker 2: So I'm gonna be sort of pecking away at that
[44:14] Speaker 2: project between now and end of September early October, and uh,
[44:20] Speaker 2: some people will take the journey. Some people get mad
[44:22] Speaker 2: at me whenever I do supernatural stuff. Why wouldn't atheists
[44:27] Speaker 2: spend any time talking about ghosts? What kind of skeptic
[44:31] Speaker 2: are you? I'm a skeptic who enjoys fiction and stories
[44:38] Speaker 2: and imagination, and I want to participate in examinations of
[44:45] Speaker 2: extraordinary claims. I love Lord of the Rings. I do
[44:50] Speaker 2: not believe in Gandalf. You know what I'm saying. You
[44:55] Speaker 2: can always tell those people, these pedants, that just they
[44:58] Speaker 2: troll around look for reasons to sound snobby and superior.
[45:03] Speaker 2: I can't believe Zeth would participate in this kind of thing.
[45:07] Speaker 2: I heard the same thing with Jordan Peter. I can't
[45:09] Speaker 2: believe Seth would give oxygen. He's such a boor thinker.
[45:16] Speaker 2: Define oxygen. There was some light, there's a shit ton
[45:19] Speaker 2: of heat. It's not just oxygen. Hell, I'm not just
[45:22] Speaker 2: platforming the guy to prop up his reputation. We actually
[45:25] Speaker 2: propped him up so that he could self emmolate once again. Anyway,
[45:31] Speaker 2: I stopped being in the pleasing everybody business a long
[45:33] Speaker 2: time ago. I'm going to serve the community. But these
[45:36] Speaker 2: people who just walk around and all they do is
[45:38] Speaker 2: snipe from the cheap seats. I mean, I hate to
[45:43] Speaker 2: be that way. No, I don't. No, I'm just tired
[45:47] Speaker 2: of them. More of your calls as we talk about
[45:54] Speaker 2: haunted experiences, ghostly sightings. I don't know. Whatever you want
[45:59] Speaker 2: to talk about, we'll do it next. Thanks for listening,
[46:10] Speaker 2: Thanks for joining me for a smattering of topics on
[46:14] Speaker 2: this bonus show. Cheetah says, I'm terribly good at saying nothing. Hang,
[46:19] Speaker 2: let me put that on screen because I think that
[46:21] Speaker 2: would be great on a business card. Yeah ho' by that?
[46:27] Speaker 2: I am really I am a masterclass an empty calorie dialogue. Okay,
[46:38] Speaker 2: was there anything else I wanted to talk about? Now
[46:40] Speaker 2: that I'm fifty minutes into this man talk about a tangent?
[46:43] Speaker 2: Talk about a random tangent. And I do welcome your calls.
[46:47] Speaker 2: I would love to speak to you. I don't care
[46:50] Speaker 2: if it's about ghost It can be on any subject.
[46:52] Speaker 2: Hopefully my switchboard is working. Let me hit the talk
[46:57] Speaker 2: button area code two five four high. Can you hear me?
[47:02] Speaker 4: Yeah, I hear you.
[47:03] Speaker 2: Can everybody in the chat hear my caller? Hang on?
[47:09] Speaker 2: I'm gonna hang on just a second for me. I'm
[47:10] Speaker 2: gonna make sure that people, I mean make sure can
[47:14] Speaker 2: can everybody hear them because I've got one button that
[47:17] Speaker 2: I can't remember if it needs to go down? Okay,
[47:21] Speaker 2: everybody can hear you? Yeah, all right, lovely, all right?
[47:26] Speaker 2: Hit me? What's your first name or what do you
[47:28] Speaker 2: want to be called? What's on your mind?
[47:31] Speaker 5: Frank?
[47:31] Speaker 4: It's Frank here, So ghosts. I used to live on
[47:37] Speaker 4: a farm. It was a very old buildings on the property,
[47:42] Speaker 4: and uh never knew of any of these stories till
[47:45] Speaker 4: after things happened. I was out by the hundred and
[47:49] Speaker 4: some year old barn one day with my dogs, and
[47:53] Speaker 4: I hear children and the dogs here children, nobody's supposed
[47:56] Speaker 4: to be after they run around the side of the barn.
[47:58] Speaker 4: I go around there and there's nobody there, okay, just
[48:02] Speaker 4: something blowing across the field. I'm a skeptic, but I
[48:05] Speaker 4: keep an open mind. There was a situation one day.
[48:11] Speaker 4: I had a friend who was a skeptic and he
[48:14] Speaker 4: was dying, and I said, hey, if you get out
[48:16] Speaker 4: there into the next level trying to find me, I
[48:19] Speaker 4: keep an open mind. Well, that evening, one evening, shortly
[48:23] Speaker 4: after he passed away, the dogs and I were sitting
[48:25] Speaker 4: in the living room and they all there were seven dogs,
[48:28] Speaker 4: and they all stand up and they're looking in this
[48:31] Speaker 4: direction and they're looking at me for guidance. There's nothing
[48:34] Speaker 4: on the other side of the room. One of them
[48:37] Speaker 4: kind of growls and they look at me, and so
[48:41] Speaker 4: I'm being a skeptic but keeping an open mind. I
[48:44] Speaker 4: just said, is that you Alex? And there's no response.
[48:50] Speaker 4: But they were seeing something that I wasn't seen. They
[48:53] Speaker 4: saw it. Their hair stood up, and it was not
[48:56] Speaker 4: like in the direction of the door. It was in
[48:58] Speaker 4: the direction of the wall. There's nothing in there that
[49:02] Speaker 4: I can see. I've been around dogs all my life,
[49:05] Speaker 4: and they see here and sense things that human still
[49:11] Speaker 4: or they hear different than we do. So I don't know,
[49:15] Speaker 4: you know, I keep an open mind. I don't have
[49:17] Speaker 4: enough evidence. We'll put it that way, but I think
[49:20] Speaker 4: there was something there that they saw that I didn't.
[49:25] Speaker 4: I found out later that there were some children that
[49:27] Speaker 4: died in that barn one hundred years ago when part
[49:30] Speaker 4: of it caught on fire. They were playing in the barn.
[49:33] Speaker 4: So just weird stuff like that happened on the farm
[49:37] Speaker 4: from time to time.
[49:38] Speaker 2: I find that interesting. Dogs are an especially fascinating case
[49:46] Speaker 2: when they Now I've seen the movies, because the dog
[49:49] Speaker 2: always knows some shit's about to go down, well before
[49:52] Speaker 2: the family and the haunted house knows. Right, the dog
[49:56] Speaker 2: won't go in. The dog's cognives had gone out. Oh
[50:00] Speaker 2: hell no, I ain't going in there. I do find
[50:04] Speaker 2: those stories interesting, and I don't know, compelling may not
[50:07] Speaker 2: be the word, but I do watch my animals very closely.
[50:11] Speaker 2: They seem to know things, don't they.
[50:14] Speaker 4: Sure, yeah, they do. When I'm I had to move
[50:19] Speaker 4: to the city, but I still have one of the dogs.
[50:22] Speaker 4: And when I'm walking and I have my earbuds in,
[50:26] Speaker 4: I'm focused on the dog on the least because if
[50:29] Speaker 4: the dog looks to the right, he's hearing and seeing
[50:31] Speaker 4: things that I'm not seeing because I got my music going,
[50:34] Speaker 4: and you know what's inside my head, so I'll look
[50:37] Speaker 4: to the ride and see what it is. I mean,
[50:40] Speaker 4: it's just they're very different than us as far as
[50:45] Speaker 4: hearing and seeing and sensing things. They see things on
[50:48] Speaker 4: a level of three feet in below, you know, they
[50:52] Speaker 4: see under cars that we don't see. They can hear
[50:55] Speaker 4: better than us, they can smell better than us, and
[50:58] Speaker 4: so I really pay it tension, you know, and they
[51:01] Speaker 4: give unconditional love. Humans have so many conditions conditional and
[51:08] Speaker 4: start judging a little bit. I go be the dog.
[51:11] Speaker 4: Be the dog, the dog, Be the dog, the dog,
[51:15] Speaker 4: keep moving.
[51:16] Speaker 2: So what are the chances that the dog, who is
[51:21] Speaker 2: on a sensory sensory having sensory overload, is just smelling
[51:25] Speaker 2: the bacon that somebody is cooking five doors down. I mean,
[51:29] Speaker 2: that's always a possibility. They stop and they freeze and
[51:32] Speaker 2: they stare. It's maybe someone's fired up the you know,
[51:35] Speaker 2: the rotisserie or something right, or the.
[51:40] Speaker 4: Female in heat that's a quarter mile away. If it's
[51:44] Speaker 4: a male dog. Yeah, there's there's just all kinds of
[51:48] Speaker 4: you know, And I call him the females. When when
[51:50] Speaker 4: he comes up to a post he's smelling all the females.
[51:53] Speaker 4: That's how they Hey, I was out there, you know
[51:58] Speaker 4: the post office it's the mail box, you know, the
[52:01] Speaker 4: people you know, and they it's for me. I understand
[52:08] Speaker 4: a little bit of the pack mentality well pretty pretty
[52:11] Speaker 4: well because I've been around Ogahmore and I'm the leader
[52:13] Speaker 4: of the pack, so they're going to alert me and
[52:15] Speaker 4: look at me for guidance and uh so it's pretty
[52:21] Speaker 4: well all the dogs out there. I had a Jack
[52:23] Speaker 4: Russell that was like always on. He would bark, which
[52:26] Speaker 4: would wake up the visless. The visless would bark, which
[52:29] Speaker 4: would wake up the bull terriers, and the bull terriers
[52:32] Speaker 4: would set up the perimeter. You don't you're not coming in. Wow.
[52:36] Speaker 4: And it was just really wild to watch.
[52:39] Speaker 2: But you're all set for the zombie apocalypse. Sounds like
[52:41] Speaker 2: you got some beasts of burden who are ready to
[52:44] Speaker 2: protect the cave. They're out there doing a sentry duty.
[52:48] Speaker 2: I appreciate your call. It's an interesting story and something
[52:51] Speaker 2: for us to talk about hanging there. Okay, thank you,
[52:55] Speaker 2: all right to see you. I don't think I'm the
[52:57] Speaker 2: alpha and my huge dog relationship, Natalie says, I'm not.
[53:06] Speaker 2: I yeah, I kind of am, but it's like the
[53:13] Speaker 2: way I walk Linus or he walks me, like you're
[53:18] Speaker 2: supposed to take the leash. I'm digressing again. I've got
[53:22] Speaker 2: another call coming in and I will get to that,
[53:24] Speaker 2: and the switchboard remains open, and we'll just go for
[53:26] Speaker 2: as long as you want within reason. I think you're
[53:29] Speaker 2: supposed to have them on your left, if you're right handed,
[53:33] Speaker 2: or I don't know, right by your side, and they
[53:37] Speaker 2: follow your lead, they don't run around at the end
[53:39] Speaker 2: of the leash, and they obey your commands. You are
[53:44] Speaker 2: the alpha. Well, it's not how I walk the dogs.
[53:48] Speaker 2: I've got one of those little retractable things, you know.
[53:50] Speaker 2: So he's ten feet in front of me, and he's sniffing,
[53:54] Speaker 2: and he goes, oh, look it's a mail. Oh look
[53:56] Speaker 2: it's a fire hydrant. Oh here's a blade of grass
[53:59] Speaker 2: that seems to be have been territorialized. I guess I
[54:02] Speaker 2: need to go and and reassert my dominance. And then
[54:05] Speaker 2: he goes over, oh light pole, Oh lookie, here's a
[54:08] Speaker 2: random thing, a piece of trash. I will pee on everything.
[54:11] Speaker 2: He will pee. When he's empty, he will be He
[54:14] Speaker 2: will be empty for a half a block, and he
[54:16] Speaker 2: will do another half of block and essentially pee nothing.
[54:20] Speaker 2: He peas nothing, and yet he feels that he has
[54:23] Speaker 2: marked his territory, but he decides which corner we go.
[54:27] Speaker 2: I let him decide whether or not he wants to
[54:29] Speaker 2: go north or south around this block or that block
[54:31] Speaker 2: when he wants to be done. And Natalie's like, you
[54:34] Speaker 2: are so not the alpha, but I kind of am.
[54:44] Speaker 2: I kind of am, by the way, forgive me. Apparently
[54:47] Speaker 2: the guy in the chat, or whoever it was who
[54:50] Speaker 2: said that I speak but say nothing, was well talking
[54:53] Speaker 2: about me. He was talking about Jordan Peterson, but I
[54:55] Speaker 2: didn't see the context because the chat was moving so quickly.
[54:59] Speaker 2: I'm almost disappointed. But yes, I agree, Jordan Peterson is
[55:05] Speaker 2: he speaks while saying nothing. But it's not the first
[55:07] Speaker 2: time someone has said that about me, So maybe I was.
[55:10] Speaker 2: Maybe I'm that's a sensitive nerve for me. Maybe I just,
[55:15] Speaker 2: you know, I'm just one man. I hear some people
[55:19] Speaker 2: say I sound like a preacher. Some people don't like
[55:22] Speaker 2: the fact that how do I say this? I mean,
[55:26] Speaker 2: you know, thirty five years in broadcasting in some way
[55:29] Speaker 2: I have a cadence about me that some people like,
[55:32] Speaker 2: and some people think sounds fake. They're like, he doesn't
[55:36] Speaker 2: talk like that in real life, and he sounds like
[55:38] Speaker 2: he's performing, and I find him irritating and blah blah blah,
[55:41] Speaker 2: and so they go after me for style. They're not
[55:44] Speaker 2: interested in what I'm saying. It's really more a preference
[55:47] Speaker 2: as to whether or not they like what I say
[55:50] Speaker 2: or the way I say what I say, or they
[55:52] Speaker 2: think I'm being disingenuous because I'm performing. He's just on stage,
[55:56] Speaker 2: you know, And that's fine. I mean, I don't think
[55:59] Speaker 2: you can be wrong for stating a preference. But the
[56:03] Speaker 2: idea that while he's able to string sentences together, the
[56:07] Speaker 2: fact that he uses vowels and consonants and knows how
[56:10] Speaker 2: to narrate a story the minute, that becomes a problem too.
[56:14] Speaker 2: I don't get that. I don't understand. We wish he
[56:19] Speaker 2: wasn't as polished as a speaker as he is, because
[56:25] Speaker 2: by communicating something clearly and professionally, he must be what.
[56:31] Speaker 2: I don't understand that criticism.
[56:32] Speaker 4: Do get it.
[56:35] Speaker 2: I do not get it. But if it's not your bag, totally,
[56:39] Speaker 2: plenty of channels out there. I do not take it personally.
[56:42] Speaker 2: I really don't. Let's see, is it Victoria at eight
[56:47] Speaker 2: one seven? Yes, Hi, Victoria, we're talking about ghostly things
[56:55] Speaker 2: or something else, what do you want to talk about?
[57:00] Speaker 6: I was just thinking, it's what's the difference between ghosts
[57:03] Speaker 6: and demons?
[57:04] Speaker 2: Well, there are different types of ghosts, and a demon
[57:08] Speaker 2: is I don't think. I think a demon is a
[57:12] Speaker 2: fallen angel. And then the debate becomes our angels ghosts,
[57:16] Speaker 2: and I've never equated those two, And I think ghost,
[57:19] Speaker 2: I think a wraith. I think a poltergeist, the actual
[57:26] Speaker 2: spirits usually of the living that passed away and entered
[57:30] Speaker 2: the realm of the dead or some second or third plane.
[57:35] Speaker 2: But demons I see as fallen angels from heaven, agents
[57:40] Speaker 2: of the dark Lord himself, you know, Beelzebub, Satan. So
[57:45] Speaker 2: I see them as different. I don't know, how do
[57:47] Speaker 2: you see them?
[57:49] Speaker 4: Oh?
[57:50] Speaker 6: Yeah, like the Christian definition. But it's like I'll think
[57:52] Speaker 6: about the different definitions from around the world, because every
[57:55] Speaker 6: culture seems to have a version of demons, and then
[57:57] Speaker 6: I'll thinking about how I would quickly say, oh, yeah,
[58:00] Speaker 6: I don't believe in ghosts, but then there was a
[58:01] Speaker 6: time when I ithentically believed in demons, and then I
[58:04] Speaker 6: was there's really no difference to this.
[58:07] Speaker 2: I understand in that context. I get it spiritual beings
[58:13] Speaker 2: that roam this planet. You can't see them, measure them,
[58:17] Speaker 2: or really detect them unless some scenario opens up where
[58:23] Speaker 2: they touch your life in a physical way. Demons are
[58:28] Speaker 2: said to do that in a sinister way. So in
[58:31] Speaker 2: that context, I think you are right that you know,
[58:34] Speaker 2: in that specific way, I don't think there's any difference
[58:36] Speaker 2: between a spirit and a ghost. Yeah, and I buy that.
[58:40] Speaker 4: I don't know.
[58:40] Speaker 2: We'll see what everybody else says.
[58:44] Speaker 6: I say that now. But there was a time also
[58:46] Speaker 6: when I thought other people who believed in other types
[58:48] Speaker 6: of versions of the same thing I guess were totally
[58:51] Speaker 6: in the wrong, and they were like, okay, to make
[58:54] Speaker 6: flint of in that sense, because well, it's hard to
[58:59] Speaker 6: explain that. I up with in a house where we
[59:02] Speaker 6: took care of elderly people that would often die within
[59:06] Speaker 6: the rooms. So we had some help from especially Mexico,
[59:14] Speaker 6: some other some like there's some other countries too, but
[59:20] Speaker 6: they were very superstitious. And what I would do when
[59:25] Speaker 6: someone would die, Now I was being a complete ass,
[59:28] Speaker 6: but when someone would die, one of them she would go, uh,
[59:34] Speaker 6: close the door because she thought believed she told us
[59:36] Speaker 6: that the spirit would escape or something. And I thought
[59:39] Speaker 6: that was kind of weird because she was a nice lady.
[59:41] Speaker 6: What would what would it matter if she got out?
[59:44] Speaker 6: So I would always open the door after she closed it,
[59:46] Speaker 6: and I would look around the corner and she would
[59:48] Speaker 6: her eyes would just get really big, and she would
[59:49] Speaker 6: freak out and she would do something like some ritual,
[59:54] Speaker 6: and then she'd go back and close the door, and
[59:58] Speaker 6: then I would go open it when she left, but.
[1:00:01] Speaker 2: Myself that way. But ah, you naughty, naughty, prankstery, naughty.
[1:00:11] Speaker 6: Yeah, but I was I believe, like what I was
[1:00:13] Speaker 6: taught about demons though, and I would be totally freaked
[1:00:17] Speaker 6: out by that. But then I would go ahead and
[1:00:19] Speaker 6: do that. Now, if I visit someone else's country, I
[1:00:22] Speaker 6: would be very respectful. And you know, if I visit
[1:00:24] Speaker 6: a Mosca where my I cover my head, take off
[1:00:27] Speaker 6: my shoes. If I go to the Catholic church in
[1:00:30] Speaker 6: Mexico or whatever, I take.
[1:00:33] Speaker 4: My hat off. Whatever.
[1:00:35] Speaker 6: It is the norm there and I don't know, but
[1:00:39] Speaker 6: here it's harder.
[1:00:40] Speaker 4: I don't.
[1:00:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh, well I like it, you know, throw some
[1:00:45] Speaker 2: cabinets open, creak some some drawers and cabinets, and and
[1:00:50] Speaker 2: move some stuff around and then just leave and let
[1:00:52] Speaker 2: somebody else sort of a sign agency to it. That's
[1:00:57] Speaker 2: kind of awesome. It's kind of awesome. So appreciate you
[1:01:01] Speaker 2: calling me Victoria or anything else.
[1:01:03] Speaker 6: I'm still feel guilty about it though.
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: No, yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. It's all in fun.
[1:01:08] Speaker 2: It's all in fun, and it makes for a great story.
[1:01:11] Speaker 2: Appreciate you very much. Hang in there, Okay, thanks scare later. Okay,
[1:01:18] Speaker 2: there was someone who posted something that I wanted to
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: address there it is, all things considered said. I wish
[1:01:28] Speaker 2: I wasn't phone shying. I'd love to call in and
[1:01:30] Speaker 2: see Seth's take on adults talking about ghost I work
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: with people who think my job's haunted, and I seem
[1:01:36] Speaker 2: like the asshole for not taking it what I would
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: enjoy like if I worked in a hospital that had
[1:01:42] Speaker 2: a you know, an old morgue in the bottom, I'd
[1:01:45] Speaker 2: probably swap stories and go down there and scare myself.
[1:01:53] Speaker 2: I couldn't talk myself into the idea that it was
[1:01:56] Speaker 2: another worldly thing. I think at some point, don't you
[1:01:59] Speaker 2: and I get to the point where we understand so
[1:02:01] Speaker 2: much about the human brain, about the psychology of fear,
[1:02:05] Speaker 2: about patterns seeking, about confirmation bias, and seeing so many
[1:02:09] Speaker 2: ghost tales, so many legends debunked that that's even though
[1:02:14] Speaker 2: if we're ramped up and we have a strong heartbeat
[1:02:18] Speaker 2: and we break into a sweat and we feel the
[1:02:20] Speaker 2: fight flight or freeze response kick in, our logical mind
[1:02:24] Speaker 2: still knows that this is a response that is explainable,
[1:02:30] Speaker 2: and that's the explanation for whatever sound we just heard
[1:02:35] Speaker 2: in the corner. You know, Okham's raisers says, it's probably
[1:02:40] Speaker 2: not You know, someone who was in the freezer and
[1:02:47] Speaker 2: got forgotten, and so his ghost exited the physical form,
[1:02:52] Speaker 2: and then now he roams the halls and he just
[1:02:54] Speaker 2: does shit that ghosts do, which is what they move
[1:02:58] Speaker 2: coffee cups on her tops and they push wheelchairs down hall.
[1:03:03] Speaker 2: Have you ever noticed how mundane and banal the activity
[1:03:08] Speaker 2: of most apparitions, ghost spirits, etc. Are. Like if I
[1:03:12] Speaker 2: was a ghost and you gave me the opportunity to
[1:03:15] Speaker 2: interact with the physical world, you think I'd be taking
[1:03:18] Speaker 2: portraits on the wall and cocking him in twenty five degrees?
[1:03:22] Speaker 2: You think that was what? Is that what I'm going
[1:03:23] Speaker 2: to use my power for? Are you kidding me? You
[1:03:28] Speaker 2: think I'm going to take a three foot section of
[1:03:31] Speaker 2: a basement and make it twenty degrees golder. Is that
[1:03:35] Speaker 2: what I'm going to use my power for. No, Dad,
[1:03:38] Speaker 2: He's going to have some fun, just saying. If I
[1:03:46] Speaker 2: was a spirit I would like to first of all,
[1:03:52] Speaker 2: I would like to arrive and give comfort to those
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: who I'd left behind in a palpable way. I'm okay,
[1:04:02] Speaker 2: I'm safe. I live on we given the fact that
[1:04:07] Speaker 2: there is posthumous existence. I will describe to you what
[1:04:10] Speaker 2: this existence looks like. I will help you solve the mystery,
[1:04:13] Speaker 2: and I will assure you that one day we will
[1:04:15] Speaker 2: see each other again. Until then, live and be happy.
[1:04:19] Speaker 2: I am fine. I would do that, and then I
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: would commit myself and my spiritual resources to jacking up
[1:04:26] Speaker 2: the lives of terrible people. Elon Musk would not be safe.
[1:04:37] Speaker 2: I would screw with that guy's mind. I would rearrange
[1:04:40] Speaker 2: the shit in his life like that. He would think
[1:04:44] Speaker 2: he was going nuts. And we already think he may
[1:04:47] Speaker 2: have some issues. Have you seen the videos where he's
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: high on ketamine and he's sitting at the press conference
[1:04:52] Speaker 2: and he looks like he just got off the tilta whirl? Wow? Ah,
[1:04:59] Speaker 2: Jack Donald try Trump, You're mine? Oh your mine, every
[1:05:10] Speaker 2: password gets changed, doors will not open when he has
[1:05:15] Speaker 2: to open them at public events. I would cause his
[1:05:21] Speaker 2: pants to fall down while speaking at the un He's
[1:05:27] Speaker 2: right there in his skivs, tidy white. He's oh, just
[1:05:30] Speaker 2: dumb shit like that, but just jack with his life,
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: and I would. I'd hope that being a spirit, I
[1:05:39] Speaker 2: don't know what I would time, would space time still
[1:05:41] Speaker 2: exist or would I be able to see what was
[1:05:44] Speaker 2: going to happen before it happened, Because then I could
[1:05:47] Speaker 2: be an agent of prevention for harm done to people
[1:05:51] Speaker 2: on this earth. And I would serty And now I
[1:05:53] Speaker 2: could be like a police officer, an interventionist from the
[1:05:57] Speaker 2: spirit world. And I'd come back and I could actually
[1:05:59] Speaker 2: be like a superhero superhero all the people who are
[1:06:07] Speaker 2: trying to erase pride month Ah, I would have fun.
[1:06:18] Speaker 2: I would be most amused from the spirit world. Amusing
[1:06:27] Speaker 2: myself is not something that is hard to do. I've
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: been told this also by my wife Seth. You laugh
[1:06:35] Speaker 2: at your own shit all the time. I kind of do.
[1:06:39] Speaker 2: I don't know if anybody else is laughing I amuse myself.
[1:06:43] Speaker 2: Maybe the bar is low. I've got seven five seven.
[1:06:47] Speaker 2: Thanks for your patience. Who's this.
[1:06:51] Speaker 5: My name is Alan.
[1:06:52] Speaker 2: How you doing today, Alan? I am in good spirits,
[1:06:56] Speaker 2: so to speak. What's on your mind?
[1:07:00] Speaker 4: Oh?
[1:07:00] Speaker 5: We just started talking about old ghost tales and stuff
[1:07:03] Speaker 5: like that. And I was a teenager in a little
[1:07:07] Speaker 5: town just about twenty miles north of which a talk
[1:07:10] Speaker 5: called Newton. We used to get bored a lot when
[1:07:13] Speaker 5: we were teenagers. Now a whole lot to do. So
[1:07:16] Speaker 5: we would like search abandoned houses and were one time
[1:07:20] Speaker 5: came across a sunken graveyard and we loved going there
[1:07:24] Speaker 5: because it was kind of hard to fand and you know,
[1:07:28] Speaker 5: we can hang out. But one time we decided to
[1:07:30] Speaker 5: take a ouiji board up there, and you know, scar
[1:07:33] Speaker 5: getting a little creepy and everything like that, and I
[1:07:35] Speaker 5: out of know where one of those headstones fell.
[1:07:38] Speaker 2: Boom wow.
[1:07:39] Speaker 5: We went through them woods, ripping through woods and get
[1:07:43] Speaker 5: back to our cars. Man, it scared every single one
[1:07:46] Speaker 5: of us. But you know, growing up, you know, of
[1:07:50] Speaker 5: course I scared me at that. But I still don't
[1:07:53] Speaker 5: have that fear or anything like that, because I just
[1:07:56] Speaker 5: think of too many people like you just were kind
[1:07:58] Speaker 5: of bringing up. Man, that'd be too much many people
[1:08:00] Speaker 5: haunting people, whether it be practical jokes or just pure evil,
[1:08:04] Speaker 5: you know, it's just yeah. So I mean now I
[1:08:09] Speaker 5: realize that you know that they probably would have failed
[1:08:11] Speaker 5: where we were there or not, and it just happened
[1:08:14] Speaker 5: to be we were messing around the wrong time. And yeah,
[1:08:18] Speaker 5: but it scared me for a little while.
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: What kind of things. I don't mean to put you
[1:08:22] Speaker 2: on the spot, but I will. If you were a
[1:08:25] Speaker 2: ghost and you could come back, what kind of stuff
[1:08:28] Speaker 2: would you be doing?
[1:08:32] Speaker 5: It really depends. I mean, because there's certain people, like
[1:08:35] Speaker 5: you said, it's sure that you're like if you could
[1:08:37] Speaker 5: help them out, like help their car keys in the
[1:08:39] Speaker 5: morning and stuff, because you know that you probably used
[1:08:42] Speaker 5: to doing that. That might be beneficial.
[1:08:44] Speaker 2: Ye oh, that's so good. That's so good.
[1:08:48] Speaker 5: But like April Fool's Day, April Fool's Day, I still
[1:08:51] Speaker 5: want to do something to know. Oh, that's all a gun,
[1:08:54] Speaker 5: you know.
[1:08:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great. I mean, you're an agent of help
[1:08:59] Speaker 2: and in a time of need, where are my keys?
[1:09:02] Speaker 2: And all of a sudden they levitate and float out
[1:09:04] Speaker 2: from behind the couch, and you have now served the
[1:09:09] Speaker 2: living from the world of the dead. That's cool. Well,
[1:09:13] Speaker 2: I think you know, I would love to be in
[1:09:15] Speaker 2: a graveyard when somebody was doing a ghost tour. I
[1:09:18] Speaker 2: would love to be in a scary place. Am I
[1:09:21] Speaker 2: above taking like a small piece of metal I found
[1:09:25] Speaker 2: in the corner and throwing it down the hallway when
[1:09:28] Speaker 2: nobody was looking, and then running to a hiding spot
[1:09:30] Speaker 2: to watch everybody say that it was the ghost of
[1:09:34] Speaker 2: someone who had been executed in the electric chair or
[1:09:38] Speaker 2: something like that. Would I do that? I'm not above it.
[1:09:41] Speaker 2: I'm not above it. So I kind of liked what
[1:09:42] Speaker 2: you did. That's awesome.
[1:09:44] Speaker 5: Oh and absolutely, And it's still like another reason that
[1:09:48] Speaker 5: Hesto Kunda felt as could have been someone you know, like, oh,
[1:09:51] Speaker 5: this would be a good time to just kind of
[1:09:52] Speaker 5: push this over. It looks like it's about the fall
[1:09:55] Speaker 5: over anyway. I mean heard of it was out there.
[1:09:58] Speaker 5: Someone could have had that thought in now, I was
[1:10:00] Speaker 5: telling the other side of the story, going, oh, I
[1:10:02] Speaker 5: scared the heck out all you dudes one time.
[1:10:05] Speaker 4: You know.
[1:10:05] Speaker 2: Now, the downside is is that we are encouraging people
[1:10:09] Speaker 2: to believe in the things that we're spending the rest
[1:10:11] Speaker 2: of our lives trying to debunk. So I'm trying to
[1:10:14] Speaker 2: get people to realize that there's no evidence for spirits
[1:10:18] Speaker 2: and whatnot. So I guess if I was throwing shit
[1:10:20] Speaker 2: down sanitarium hallways or whatever, that I would be encouraging.
[1:10:26] Speaker 2: Maybe at what I was doing was counterproductive, but the
[1:10:29] Speaker 2: prankster in me, and I'm not rough prankster in most senses,
[1:10:31] Speaker 2: but in this one I might be. It would be tempting.
[1:10:34] Speaker 2: So I appreciate you sharing your story. Was there anything
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: else you wanted to share with us today?
[1:10:40] Speaker 5: No, I just pretty much agree with you. It would
[1:10:42] Speaker 5: be I mean, I can't understand what you're saying, but
[1:10:45] Speaker 5: it kind of just plays on the whole thing as
[1:10:47] Speaker 5: a general idea of how crazy it is. Anyway, Yeah,
[1:10:51] Speaker 5: it's kind of fun sometimes to play on that.
[1:10:52] Speaker 2: So yeah, you're also it's a great conversation. Thanks for
[1:10:57] Speaker 2: having it with me. We'll see you later.
[1:11:00] Speaker 4: Thank you.
[1:11:01] Speaker 2: Juliet in the chat said I would haunt so many
[1:11:06] Speaker 2: Sunday services tempting. The problem is is that we would
[1:11:11] Speaker 2: be reinforcing in the minds of believers in the spiritual
[1:11:16] Speaker 2: that the spiritual was real. But how tempting would that be.
[1:11:26] Speaker 2: Everybody's there and they're singing their songs. God have wondered,
[1:11:33] Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, the cross detaches from the
[1:11:37] Speaker 2: wall and it floats around the room, goes up to
[1:11:41] Speaker 2: the ceiling. You the offering plates lift up off of
[1:11:52] Speaker 2: the table and get thrown into the baptismal. The wind
[1:12:03] Speaker 2: filtrate the church audio visual system. So as everybody has
[1:12:07] Speaker 2: those sort of you know how they do when they
[1:12:09] Speaker 2: do worship songs. They've got the sunset and the field,
[1:12:13] Speaker 2: and they've got the clouds, and they've got all of
[1:12:16] Speaker 2: these really generic bullshit ethereal type things with the words underneath,
[1:12:21] Speaker 2: and you just jack with it systatic, and then you know,
[1:12:25] Speaker 2: vocally over the sound system, it's like.
[1:12:28] Speaker 3: I must find a new host body.
[1:12:32] Speaker 2: I would do that.
[1:12:44] Speaker 3: Your pastor is sleeping with the receptionist.
[1:12:55] Speaker 2: Other is God. Your way is like you could do
[1:13:03] Speaker 2: any any number of things.
[1:13:08] Speaker 3: Turned to page one hundred and three in your I would.
[1:13:12] Speaker 2: Do that kind of stuff. Uh, what time is that?
[1:13:19] Speaker 2: All right, let's call it a day. You are amazing.
[1:13:21] Speaker 2: I appreciate your paisance with me. I've been all over
[1:13:24] Speaker 2: the place today, but it's always fun to hang out.
[1:13:27] Speaker 2: So and I may release part of this as an
[1:13:30] Speaker 2: audio podcast, a bonus show. You think people would want
[1:13:33] Speaker 2: to listen to it? Not too much of what we
[1:13:35] Speaker 2: did is I think limited to the visual, so maybe
[1:13:37] Speaker 2: the audio podcasters, but enjoy something extra later on this week.
[1:13:41] Speaker 2: But in the meantime, you are amazing. You keep me going.
[1:13:45] Speaker 2: Hopefully this channel helps to keep you going. And if
[1:13:48] Speaker 2: you see a spirit or a ghost out there and
[1:13:52] Speaker 2: you have tools to properly measure it, if we can
[1:13:55] Speaker 2: get some peer review, have your people cool my people,
[1:14:00] Speaker 2: and we'll talk.
