[27:42] Speaker 3: Then hedd Us and Buying a Hand. Be sure to listen.
[28:19] Speaker 3: I Heard of Her Night were collected by Bill.
[28:21] Speaker 17: Lawrence, adapted for radio by Harry Common, the music by
[28:24] Speaker 17: River Hat and the prevented Pimpo Curtity of Paramount Pictures
[28:28] Speaker 17: whose Parents Release is Uncomfortable Ingra Britman, who appeared one
[28:32] Speaker 17: last week, So was gona be seen in the enterprise
[28:35] Speaker 17: production parts of time. Ben Klusky, a parent is driving
[28:39] Speaker 17: in the paramount picture of Welcome Thinker. This is Michael
[28:42] Speaker 17: Royan Honeywood. Listen you good night, head over the.
[29:29] Speaker 3: Heda Hey, Columbia Broadcasting System.
[29:48] Speaker 1: Welcome Back a Bob Hope. Half hour movie adaptation is
[29:54] Speaker 1: always a bit of an experience. It's always filled with
[29:59] Speaker 1: ad labs and jokes that aren't in the script, and
[30:02] Speaker 1: the way that whole scene between him and Dorothy Lemore's
[30:07] Speaker 1: character was the highlight of the episode. From this episode,
[30:13] Speaker 1: you really kind of get mostly the bare bones of
[30:18] Speaker 1: the film's plot. And there are films that do adapt
[30:24] Speaker 1: pretty well down to this half hour format. This isn't
[30:28] Speaker 1: one of them. The film has a lot more going
[30:31] Speaker 1: for it, in particular some really fun performances from Peter
[30:36] Speaker 1: Lourie and Lon Cheney Junior as major villains, a segment
[30:41] Speaker 1: where Ronnie gets locked up in a sanitarium and has
[30:47] Speaker 1: to escape, and this really hilarious bit in a hotel
[30:51] Speaker 1: room where he is trying to record the bad guys
[30:56] Speaker 1: revealing their nefarious plan. And I do have to admit
[31:00] Speaker 1: one of the really odd compression choices is having the
[31:08] Speaker 1: scene where Ronnie tells the mom that he's not going
[31:13] Speaker 1: to take baby pictures anymore, right before the scene where
[31:19] Speaker 1: he tells Dorothy Lamore He's not going to be a
[31:22] Speaker 1: private detective anymore. But at any rate, it's a fun
[31:25] Speaker 1: little play despite the audio issues. But if you are interested,
[31:30] Speaker 1: I would encourage you to go and watch the movie. Well,
