[0:00] Speaker 1: Well, Elimination Chamber has come and gone. Thank God, now
[0:05] Speaker 1: we can finally begin the build to WrestleMania proper. One
[0:10] Speaker 1: thing I have not been a fan of over the
[0:12] Speaker 1: last several weeks on WWE television is there's this lack
[0:16] Speaker 1: of excitement and energy for WrestleMania, and you know something
[0:20] Speaker 1: is wrong when the post show angle on the post
[0:24] Speaker 1: show has more energy to it than pretty much anything
[0:29] Speaker 1: we saw on the actual show tonight, because we had
[0:32] Speaker 1: a pretty big announcement that came after the Elimination Chamber
[0:36] Speaker 1: went off the air tonight in terms of the WWE Championship,
[0:40] Speaker 1: but it was just it was striking to me to
[0:43] Speaker 1: watch this show. You know, the Elimination Chamber is typically
[0:46] Speaker 1: a big pl. It's become a big pl over the years,
[0:49] Speaker 1: and it was very striking to me that they were
[0:51] Speaker 1: in Chicago tonight. Chicago is a big wrestling city. I've
[0:56] Speaker 1: said before that I think Chicago may be the best
[0:58] Speaker 1: wrestling city in the world, or at least in the country.
[1:03] Speaker 1: And so I'm watching this show, and for large parts
[1:07] Speaker 1: of the show, I thought it was very telling that
[1:10] Speaker 1: I was watching and going man, crowd doesn't seem terribly
[1:14] Speaker 1: excited by what they're seeing here. I don't know that
[1:17] Speaker 1: I remember a Chicago crowd, let alone for a big
[1:20] Speaker 1: event like this quite this quiet before, and this has
[1:24] Speaker 1: been a pattern. I've been making note of it on
[1:26] Speaker 1: a lot of the WWE shows over the last several weeks.
[1:29] Speaker 1: I was not expecting it tonight for the Chamber, But
[1:32] Speaker 1: when this show was over, two people had won the
[1:36] Speaker 1: Chamber and punched their ticket to WrestleMania, Randy Orton and
[1:41] Speaker 1: Rhea Ripley. They will be getting championship matches at Wrestlemandia.
[1:45] Speaker 1: The only question is who will the champion be, especially
[1:48] Speaker 1: on the WWE title side, by the time we get there.
[1:53] Speaker 1: Let's talk about this main event first, just to give
[1:57] Speaker 1: an overview here. I liked the fact that they actually
[2:02] Speaker 1: had Randy Orton go over instead of Cody Rhodes. I
[2:05] Speaker 1: had figured Cody Rhodes was going to win when I
[2:07] Speaker 1: saw Rhea Ripley win the women's Chamber. I actually think
[2:11] Speaker 1: Randy Orton winning is the right way and the better
[2:14] Speaker 1: way to go, because I do think if Cody and
[2:17] Speaker 1: Rhea had both won those chamber matches tonight, that would
[2:20] Speaker 1: have been a bit too much for a lot of
[2:22] Speaker 1: people to swallow, because I do think that there is
[2:26] Speaker 1: a level of fatigue, more so with Cody than with Rhea.
[2:30] Speaker 1: Although based on some of the social media comments I
[2:34] Speaker 1: saw tonight, maybe I'm wrong about that, and I'll address
[2:36] Speaker 1: that as well, but I think that would have been
[2:38] Speaker 1: a bit too much. And the fact that Randy Orton won,
[2:42] Speaker 1: not that it was impossible to conceive of him winning,
[2:45] Speaker 1: but I think a lot of people figured, Okay, right,
[2:48] Speaker 1: Cody didn't win the rumble. Cody's been constantly screwed over
[2:51] Speaker 1: by Drew McIntyre. This is how Cody gets his title
[2:55] Speaker 1: Magic WrestleMania. Right, It's almost like a foregone conclusion. So
[3:00] Speaker 1: what they did at the very end of the chamber
[3:01] Speaker 1: was the most interesting part of the entire match. The
[3:04] Speaker 1: problem is that was the last sixty seconds of the match.
[3:08] Speaker 1: That men's elimination chamber match was honestly one of the
[3:12] Speaker 1: weakest chamber matches that I've ever seen. I like the finish,
[3:17] Speaker 1: I liked what they did at the very end there,
[3:20] Speaker 1: but as a match, one of the weakest I've ever seen,
[3:23] Speaker 1: if not the weakest. The women's chamber not as good
[3:28] Speaker 1: as last year's. I thought last year as women's chamber
[3:30] Speaker 1: was the best chamber match I've ever seen, and I
[3:34] Speaker 1: don't think I was the only one who had that opinion,
[3:37] Speaker 1: and so this one was not that, but it was
[3:40] Speaker 1: still good. And so yet again the women outshine the men,
[3:44] Speaker 1: not the first time that that's happened. But Randy Orton
[3:48] Speaker 1: is going to WrestleMania, and so now the question becomes
[3:52] Speaker 1: where do you go from here? Right this is the
[3:55] Speaker 1: one thing that I really liked about what they did
[3:58] Speaker 1: with that main event tonight. They did something that I
[4:01] Speaker 1: have been waiting for and I have been begging for
[4:04] Speaker 1: now for quite some time. They have created some real
[4:07] Speaker 1: interest in the at least for me, in the WWE
[4:11] Speaker 1: title picture. As we head into WrestleMania, we have seven
[4:15] Speaker 1: weeks left to resolve. What does that championship match look like?
[4:19] Speaker 1: Because it will not be Randy Orton one on one
[4:21] Speaker 1: with Drew McIntyre. As I sit here now, the match
[4:25] Speaker 1: is Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre. It will not be that.
[4:28] Speaker 1: Like I'll guarantee you it will not be that. So
[4:32] Speaker 1: what is the match going to be? You look at
[4:34] Speaker 1: the world title scene, the main event picture right now
[4:37] Speaker 1: on SmackDown coming out of this show. Randy Orton firmly
[4:40] Speaker 1: in the mix. Cody obviously, he's still in the mix.
[4:43] Speaker 1: McIntyre is the one who's going around screwing people over,
[4:46] Speaker 1: Jacob Fatu, Sammy Zain. Like, there's a bunch of different
[4:50] Speaker 1: players involved here. And I'm not saying Samy's Ain will
[4:53] Speaker 1: be involved in the title match of WrestleMania, but he
[4:55] Speaker 1: has been. I mean, clearly he's been connected to all
[4:58] Speaker 1: of these other people. I just meant in the last
[5:00] Speaker 1: two months. So that's good, and that's what I want.
[5:04] Speaker 1: That's all I want. I want intrigue, I want interest,
[5:07] Speaker 1: I want excitement, I want something something to latch onto
[5:12] Speaker 1: as we head into Las Vegas in April when it
[5:16] Speaker 1: comes to the main Championship. When the show was over
[5:20] Speaker 1: because Drew McIntyre got involved in the elimination chamber match,
[5:23] Speaker 1: he wasn't the only one who got involved in the
[5:26] Speaker 1: elimination chamber match. We had two masked men. So you
[5:30] Speaker 1: talk about overbooked. We had a chamber match which was
[5:33] Speaker 1: bad enough that the entrances for the match and I'm
[5:36] Speaker 1: not even exaggerating when I say this, the total time
[5:39] Speaker 1: that they allocated for the entrances to the men's elimination
[5:44] Speaker 1: chamber match was almost as long as the match itself.
[5:48] Speaker 1: That is preposterous. It is ridiculous. But then in the
[5:54] Speaker 1: course of the match we had Logan Paul eliminating not
[5:58] Speaker 1: one can Paul, by the way, who was not even
[6:01] Speaker 1: supposed to be in the match. He was a sub
[6:03] Speaker 1: for somebody who got hurt. Not one elimination, not two eliminations,
[6:09] Speaker 1: three eliminations, and the crowd goes mild each and every
[6:15] Speaker 1: single time. And then we have a mass man decoy
[6:20] Speaker 1: that shows up. Then when the decoy gets carried off,
[6:25] Speaker 1: we have another mass man who shows up, and that
[6:28] Speaker 1: mass man turns out to be Seth Rollins, which of
[6:31] Speaker 1: course was the predictable outcome here. But I think we
[6:34] Speaker 1: all knew at the end of all this they were
[6:36] Speaker 1: going to drag this out until Seth Rollins could be revealed.
[6:39] Speaker 1: So there he was, and that actually got a pop.
[6:43] Speaker 1: Then Drew McIntyre runs in because the fucking door is open.
[6:47] Speaker 1: So it was this parade of just interference in the
[6:50] Speaker 1: elimination chamber badge that ultimately led to the finish. Uh. Ridiculous.
[6:55] Speaker 1: The whole thing was completely ridiculous. I was not a
[6:57] Speaker 1: fan of the match, but when the show is over,
[7:00] Speaker 1: Nick Alldos was not happy about Drew McIntyre getting involved
[7:04] Speaker 1: and he had to be pulled away from him, and
[7:06] Speaker 1: then he made an announcement that on SmackDown this coming Friday,
[7:11] Speaker 1: Drew McIntyre is going to be forced to defend the
[7:14] Speaker 1: WWE Championship against Cody Roads. So Cody, who lost the
[7:19] Speaker 1: elimination chaper today, he got dropped by Randy Orton with
[7:21] Speaker 1: an RKO because Randy Orton was willing to do what
[7:24] Speaker 1: Sammy Zain and others have failed to do, and even
[7:29] Speaker 1: Cody right three Stages of Hell, They've all failed to
[7:32] Speaker 1: capitalize on circumstances that were presented to them that could
[7:35] Speaker 1: have led to them winning. Randy Orton had no issue
[7:38] Speaker 1: with that. He delivered an RKO and so he won.
[7:42] Speaker 1: But Cody is going to get the first shot, so
[7:45] Speaker 1: that match is official for smackdod on Friday, and that
[7:48] Speaker 1: now creates a whole plethora of different possibilities here for
[7:51] Speaker 1: where this could be going for WrestleMania. Are we looking
[7:55] Speaker 1: at Cody Roads regaining the WWE Championship this Friday, and
[8:00] Speaker 1: we're gonna get Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton one on
[8:02] Speaker 1: one at WrestleMania, the very real possibility that we could
[8:06] Speaker 1: be looking at that, and then Drew McIntyre goes off
[8:09] Speaker 1: and has a match a Mania with Jacob Foughtu or
[8:13] Speaker 1: are we looking at some sort of disputed finish and
[8:16] Speaker 1: then we do end up with what I thought when
[8:18] Speaker 1: this show was over, it seemed pretty apparent to me
[8:21] Speaker 1: that we were gonna end up getting a fatal four
[8:23] Speaker 1: way at WrestleMania. We might still we might still get
[8:26] Speaker 1: a triple throw, we might still get a fatal four way,
[8:29] Speaker 1: very possible, but now we have options, like at least
[8:32] Speaker 1: until we get to Friday, everybody who's talking about this
[8:35] Speaker 1: is going to be talking about what were they going
[8:37] Speaker 1: to do? Which way are they going to go with it?
[8:39] Speaker 1: That's a good thing. That's a good thing. This entire
[8:42] Speaker 1: road to wrestle Mania this year and everything that's been
[8:45] Speaker 1: going on like this is not last year when everything
[8:50] Speaker 1: was John Cena going for number seventeen and the heel,
[8:52] Speaker 1: the ill fated heel turn, or the year before that,
[8:55] Speaker 1: where we had Cody's story that had been building and
[8:57] Speaker 1: building and building, and it was a rematch from the
[8:59] Speaker 1: year before for Roman reigns. We don't have anything like
[9:02] Speaker 1: that this year. Okay, we already know this, right, we
[9:05] Speaker 1: don't have to relitigate that. The roads to wrestle media
[9:07] Speaker 1: up until this point has been non existent. But they
[9:10] Speaker 1: have seven weeks now to create some genuine interest in
[9:13] Speaker 1: this show and in this match, and they have the
[9:16] Speaker 1: ability to do that now. Based on what's going on
[9:19] Speaker 1: just this week alone, this could branch off in any
[9:21] Speaker 1: number of directions, So I like that. Will I will
[9:25] Speaker 1: give them props for that. At least they've at least
[9:27] Speaker 1: created something that has caught my interest. I can't say
[9:31] Speaker 1: that this show itself was terribly interesting. It was not.
[9:36] Speaker 1: It was not. It will not go down as one
[9:37] Speaker 1: of the better elimination chamber shows. And it's not even
[9:40] Speaker 1: to say that there were matches on the show that
[9:42] Speaker 1: were just all this was terrible. The main event was
[9:44] Speaker 1: the main event was bad. I'm sorry. The main event,
[9:47] Speaker 1: up until the last minute or so, I thought, was
[9:49] Speaker 1: just fucking terrible. But the other matches on the show,
[9:52] Speaker 1: I mean, they were fine, you know, the women's chamber
[9:54] Speaker 1: was good, and the other matches that they were fine.
[9:57] Speaker 1: But again, there was nothing that really just kind of
[10:00] Speaker 1: jumps out and grabs you by the throat. Oh man,
[10:02] Speaker 1: this was great, or oh man, you gotta go back
[10:04] Speaker 1: and watch this. Not really, there really was nothing like
[10:07] Speaker 1: that on this show. It was as down the middle
[10:11] Speaker 1: kind of average as you could expect. That was kind
[10:15] Speaker 1: of the story of Elimination Chamber. I thought, But you know,
[10:21] Speaker 1: we had this crate. This crate popped up on television
[10:25] Speaker 1: a few weeks ago. Do not open until you get
[10:29] Speaker 1: to February twenty eighth, which is the date of Elimination Chamber.
[10:32] Speaker 1: So here we are, right And at first, I, like
[10:35] Speaker 1: a lot of other people, were thinking, oh man, is
[10:37] Speaker 1: this the way they're going to bring Chris Jericho back,
[10:40] Speaker 1: you know, to WWE, because Jericho supposedly was coming. Meanwhile,
[10:43] Speaker 1: Jericho is still on the AW roster page. One person
[10:47] Speaker 1: is no longer on the AW roster page. In fact,
[10:50] Speaker 1: he was pulled from the page yesterday and that person
[10:53] Speaker 1: was Dan Housen. And Dan Hausen popped out of the
[10:59] Speaker 1: crate tonight. It sounded to me like there was an
[11:03] Speaker 1: initial pop and then he came down to the ring
[11:07] Speaker 1: and quite literally disappeared in a plume of smoke and
[11:10] Speaker 1: was never seen again. And the fans booed. The fans
[11:15] Speaker 1: booed Dan Hausen in Chicago, And I feel bad for
[11:20] Speaker 1: Dan Housen because it was a no win situation because
[11:25] Speaker 1: you get people's hopes up. Like I knew better when
[11:29] Speaker 1: I saw who was hanging around the crate on television
[11:32] Speaker 1: for the last week or so, Los Garza, Candice Lay,
[11:37] Speaker 1: Johnny Gargano, our truth. What did you think was going
[11:42] Speaker 1: to come out of the crate? Nothing of any real
[11:46] Speaker 1: significance as far as like a main event superstar name.
[11:49] Speaker 1: People were like bad Bunny might pop out, Like are
[11:52] Speaker 1: you out of your fucking mind? Like it was pretty
[11:55] Speaker 1: clear that nothing of any great, like top level importance
[11:59] Speaker 1: was going to come out of create angle. So I
[12:01] Speaker 1: just kind of saw it for what it was, and
[12:03] Speaker 1: then Dan Housen became like the name that most people
[12:06] Speaker 1: would agree on, It's probably gonna be Dan Housen, And
[12:09] Speaker 1: it was right. But I can understand if you were
[12:11] Speaker 1: somebody in the building in Chicago tonight and you're not
[12:14] Speaker 1: following that kind of shit the way you and I are,
[12:17] Speaker 1: You're probably looking at this going man who's coming out
[12:20] Speaker 1: of the crate, like who's coming back? Or like what's
[12:24] Speaker 1: going on here. They're saving it for the elimination chamber, right,
[12:27] Speaker 1: so it must be a big deal. I mean, look
[12:30] Speaker 1: at what happened on the show last year. We got
[12:31] Speaker 1: the Rock and Cody and Cody soul, like, oh, what
[12:34] Speaker 1: do they have in store for us this year? And
[12:37] Speaker 1: then you get a bunch of women with Dan Housen
[12:39] Speaker 1: face paint coming out and dancing, and then this fucking
[12:43] Speaker 1: creepy guy in clown makeup comes out with a jar
[12:45] Speaker 1: of teeth like I can understand some people being disappointed
[12:49] Speaker 1: by that, but I felt bad for him. Like they
[12:52] Speaker 1: booed Dan Hausen in Chicago. Who was the one who said,
[12:57] Speaker 1: like anything that comes out of a crate is instantly
[13:00] Speaker 1: going to be over? Was it Bruce? It was probably
[13:02] Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised if this was Bruce's idea. We
[13:05] Speaker 1: could just blame Bruce dan Housen. If you know what
[13:11] Speaker 1: Dan Housen is, Dan Housen is, It's a silly, just
[13:16] Speaker 1: ridiculous comedy gimmick, nothing more, nothing less. Nobody should have
[13:23] Speaker 1: expected anything other than that. I don't know why you
[13:26] Speaker 1: would expect it to be some great thing. Have you
[13:29] Speaker 1: watched WWE television recently? Have they really given you a
[13:34] Speaker 1: lot of reasons to expect the best out of them?
[13:37] Speaker 1: The answer is no. So I wasn't surprised when I
[13:41] Speaker 1: saw him pop out of the fucking crate. And you
[13:44] Speaker 1: know what, I'm happy for the guy because this is
[13:46] Speaker 1: a guy who tried to get an early release a
[13:49] Speaker 1: long time ago from his AW contract, and Tony Kahn
[13:52] Speaker 1: would not let him out of his contract because I
[13:54] Speaker 1: guess Dan Hausen was so fucking important to AW that
[13:57] Speaker 1: we never saw him on TV. So he waited and
[14:00] Speaker 1: he waited and he waited, and he finally got his release.
[14:03] Speaker 1: Right his core contract expired. He's a freeman, and so
[14:07] Speaker 1: now he gets to go and actually work. And what
[14:12] Speaker 1: role is he gonna end up in WWE? Exactly the
[14:15] Speaker 1: role that you would expect, nothing more, nothing less. But
[14:20] Speaker 1: if there are people who are genuinely upset about this,
[14:24] Speaker 1: I mean, WWE set themselves up for it. But this
[14:27] Speaker 1: is the company that hatched an egg on the Survivor
[14:29] Speaker 1: series one year and had the gobblede googeru pop out
[14:32] Speaker 1: of it, Like, this is what we're dealing with here.
[14:35] Speaker 1: I don't know why you would have expected anything more
[14:37] Speaker 1: than that, but I did feel bad for when he
[14:41] Speaker 1: got booed, probably because he disappeared and people are like,
[14:45] Speaker 1: that's it. You built this up for weeks, that's it. Yeah,
[14:49] Speaker 1: that's it. That's WWE in twenty twenty six, where people
[14:56] Speaker 1: come out and they are a farm for twenty minutes,
[15:00] Speaker 1: almost as long as the actual matches. This is your
[15:05] Speaker 1: Elimination Chamber Review twenty twenty six. I am the Solemn Monster.
[15:09] Speaker 1: I got a lot to say about this show, and
[15:11] Speaker 1: hopefully you do too, So super chats are open, get
[15:14] Speaker 1: the money in. I will be reading all of your messages.
[15:16] Speaker 1: Let me know what you thought of the crate and
[15:19] Speaker 1: the main event finish and the Elimination Chamber tonight and
[15:22] Speaker 1: everything that happened here on this show. Like and subscribe
[15:24] Speaker 1: as well. You know YouTube TV. Do you feel him, sir?
[15:31] Speaker 1: I do not not tonight. I don't. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[15:35] Speaker 1: Cody dan Housen cursed the Vision, says Hogdog. Well, if
[15:43] Speaker 1: there is one group in WWE that is forever cursed,
[15:46] Speaker 1: it certainly is the Vision, which apparently they're going to
[15:49] Speaker 1: keep what's left of the Vision together for now. I
[15:52] Speaker 1: don't know why, but I guess the Vision is still
[15:54] Speaker 1: going to be a thing. Seth Rollins needed somebody to
[15:57] Speaker 1: feud with when he came back. But I was to
[16:00] Speaker 1: say is YouTube tv continues to hold out on the
[16:05] Speaker 1: ESPN Unlimited app. We still do not have access to it,
[16:10] Speaker 1: so my Express VPN always comes in very handy. Now
[16:14] Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that you
[16:17] Speaker 1: know whether I did use it tonight or not, But
[16:19] Speaker 1: if I were to use it, I would imagine that
[16:21] Speaker 1: I would have been able to watch the Elimination Chamber
[16:24] Speaker 1: for free on Netflix. I'm not saying I did. I'm
[16:27] Speaker 1: not saying I didn't. I'm just saying I'm very glad
[16:29] Speaker 1: I have my Express VPN. I'm very glad I didn't
[16:32] Speaker 1: pay thirty dollars for this show. Very happy about that. Anyway,
[16:37] Speaker 1: let's spend the wheel and then we're going to get
[16:38] Speaker 1: into the review here. Find out how many likes we
[16:41] Speaker 1: need here for our be the Booker segment. If you're
[16:45] Speaker 1: new here, don't ask. We do it at the end
[16:49] Speaker 1: of most of these streams. If we hit the goal
[16:54] Speaker 1: four twenty, this show might have been a little more
[16:57] Speaker 1: pleasurable for those of you celebrating twenty tonight. That should
[17:01] Speaker 1: be easy. Four hundred and twenty likes minimum, and we
[17:05] Speaker 1: will do be the booker. They claimed nineteen thousand, three
[17:10] Speaker 1: hundred and forty six as an attendance record. I assumed
[17:15] Speaker 1: WWE attendance record obviously, because they were in the United Center.
[17:20] Speaker 1: Usually they run all state. They were in the United
[17:22] Speaker 1: Center tonight, and I just thought to myself, well, again,
[17:26] Speaker 1: assuming that is a legit number, I just thought to myself, Well, yes,
[17:30] Speaker 1: of course, that's what happens when you maybe run this
[17:33] Speaker 1: venue three times in the entire existence of your company.
[17:37] Speaker 1: They have not run the United Center very many times.
[17:40] Speaker 1: They ran it for SummerSlam thirty plus years ago. They
[17:44] Speaker 1: ran I want to say, a house show there and
[17:47] Speaker 1: then maybe this one. This might have been the third
[17:49] Speaker 1: show ever, third or fourth at the most. So I
[17:52] Speaker 1: guess that's their that's their record. But they opened with
[17:57] Speaker 1: the women's elimination Chamber match, which was a deaf the
[18:00] Speaker 1: better of the two elimination chamber matches tonight. We had
[18:05] Speaker 1: Tiffany Shratton, we had Osca, we had Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss,
[18:10] Speaker 1: Raquel Rodriguez, and Keana James. Jade Cargill was shown up
[18:16] Speaker 1: in one of the boxes of course, she was watching
[18:19] Speaker 1: this and taking a vested interest in this match because
[18:22] Speaker 1: the winner of this match would go on to WrestleMania
[18:24] Speaker 1: to challenge her for her WWE Women's Championship, So she
[18:28] Speaker 1: was watching with a keen eye to see who was
[18:30] Speaker 1: gonna come out the victor. Rhea coming off of title
[18:34] Speaker 1: loss last night, she and he Osky lost the women's
[18:37] Speaker 1: tag team titles on SmackDown to Naya Jackson lash Legend.
[18:43] Speaker 1: So the match, this is the first match of the night.
[18:46] Speaker 1: It finally started twenty minutes into this show, and the
[18:51] Speaker 1: entrances for this one were not nearly as long, I
[18:54] Speaker 1: don't believe as the ones for the men's match. But
[18:57] Speaker 1: at seven twenty we were finally underway. Here in this
[19:00] Speaker 1: chamber match, Tiffany and Keana, they started things off. Everybody
[19:05] Speaker 1: else was in their pods, and after some back and forth,
[19:08] Speaker 1: Tiffany she did a handspring flip outside. She caught nothing
[19:12] Speaker 1: but one of the pods, so she slammed into the glass,
[19:17] Speaker 1: so the countdown clock came up. Osca was into the
[19:20] Speaker 1: match next. Keana was not waiting for her to come
[19:22] Speaker 1: out of her pod, though, and she mounted a preemptive
[19:24] Speaker 1: strike and she went into the pod and she started
[19:27] Speaker 1: putting a beatdown on Osca, and boy was that a mistake.
[19:31] Speaker 1: That didn't do a whole hell of a lot except
[19:33] Speaker 1: piss off Osca and Osca unleashed her fury on Keana
[19:37] Speaker 1: James kicked her ash she was ramming her into the
[19:41] Speaker 1: side of one of the pods. Then she did the
[19:43] Speaker 1: same to Tiffany Stratton. So the next one to enter
[19:46] Speaker 1: was Alexa Bliss. Now, Alexi Bliss was my pick before
[19:52] Speaker 1: Rheo Ripley lost her Women's Tag Team Championship last night
[19:55] Speaker 1: on SmackDown. As soon as I saw her win or lose,
[19:59] Speaker 1: I should say her match last night, I said, well,
[20:02] Speaker 1: there goes my prediction down in flames, because now there's
[20:06] Speaker 1: no way, there's no way that Ria Ripley is not
[20:08] Speaker 1: going to win the elimination Chamber match. She's going to
[20:11] Speaker 1: be involved in a major match of WrestleMania, and the
[20:13] Speaker 1: other title is already occupied, so naturally she's going to
[20:17] Speaker 1: be wrestling Jade Cargill. So we got a face to
[20:22] Speaker 1: face here between Rhea and Alexa Bliss and Rhea and Tiffany.
[20:28] Speaker 1: There was a rolling sent on and then the prettiest
[20:30] Speaker 1: Moonsalt ever, was attempted Alexa, though crouched her on top.
[20:35] Speaker 1: Rhea Ripley was in next what I meant to say,
[20:41] Speaker 1: So she and Alexa went at it for a little
[20:42] Speaker 1: bit until all the ladies ended up outside and Alexa
[20:46] Speaker 1: wound up on top of one of the pods. She
[20:48] Speaker 1: hit twisted Bliss off the top of the pod, wiped
[20:50] Speaker 1: everybody out. Back inside, she had Keanu setup for the
[20:54] Speaker 1: sister Abigail DDT, but she was wasting time pointing up
[20:59] Speaker 1: at the stupid WrestleManias sign. And see, this is what
[21:02] Speaker 1: happens when you point to the dumb sign instead of
[21:06] Speaker 1: just wrestling and doing what needs to be done, you
[21:09] Speaker 1: end up paying a very big price for it. And
[21:12] Speaker 1: in this situation here Alexa Bliss, she got misted in
[21:15] Speaker 1: the face by Osca and then Keana James took advantage.
[21:20] Speaker 1: She rolled up Alexa for the pinfall, and Alexa Bliss
[21:24] Speaker 1: the first woman eliminated inside the elimination chamber match. See
[21:31] Speaker 1: this is what happened. This is what happens because her
[21:32] Speaker 1: tag team partner was not in there. No Charlotte Flair,
[21:36] Speaker 1: nobody in this match who has a friend or a
[21:39] Speaker 1: partner on the roster, none of the partners were in
[21:41] Speaker 1: there with them. So with Rhea, there was no EO.
[21:45] Speaker 1: With Alexa, there was no Charlotte. With Raquel, there was
[21:48] Speaker 1: obviously no Live, there was no Roxanne. Best wishes to Roxanne.
[21:53] Speaker 1: She had surgery recently to remove a I believe it
[21:55] Speaker 1: was a benign tumor on her back. I hope she's
[22:00] Speaker 1: not going to be gone for too long, so best
[22:02] Speaker 1: wishes to her. But again, you know, when I saw
[22:07] Speaker 1: the show last night, if it wasn't, if it wasn't
[22:09] Speaker 1: a foregun conclusion, it was then that Alexa Bliss was
[22:14] Speaker 1: not winning this match. If anything surprised me, it was
[22:16] Speaker 1: the fact that she was the first one to go out.
[22:19] Speaker 1: So Racael Rodriguez was the next woman in, and she
[22:22] Speaker 1: delivered a running power slam to Keana through one of
[22:25] Speaker 1: the pods, through one side, out the other side, and
[22:30] Speaker 1: I think it was Michael Cole on commentary said that
[22:32] Speaker 1: the Bulldog would be proud of that power slam. Then
[22:37] Speaker 1: in the ring, she delivered a Tehana bomb to Osca
[22:40] Speaker 1: on top of Keana. She stacked them up on top
[22:43] Speaker 1: of each other and pinned them both to eliminate them.
[22:48] Speaker 1: We had a double elimination spot on one pinfall, which
[22:54] Speaker 1: I don't believe has happened before inside the chamber. And look,
[23:00] Speaker 1: it's one thing like what Roman did years ago at
[23:03] Speaker 1: Wrestle Mating at thirty seven when he stacked up edge
[23:05] Speaker 1: and Daniel Bryan right stack him and pin him. But
[23:09] Speaker 1: he was pinning one person. It wasn't an elimination match, right,
[23:12] Speaker 1: it counts as one pin. This is an elimination match.
[23:15] Speaker 1: So this was very silly, Like, I'm sorry, this was
[23:18] Speaker 1: a very dumb spot. I know why they did it.
[23:20] Speaker 1: They were trying to establish dominance, make Raquel look as
[23:23] Speaker 1: strong as possible. That's fine. I just thought this was
[23:27] Speaker 1: this was kind of dumb. So then we were down
[23:30] Speaker 1: to three Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton. They did
[23:35] Speaker 1: a spot where Raquel got Tiffany seated on the top
[23:39] Speaker 1: rope with her back turned and so she was going
[23:42] Speaker 1: to follow her up for something we don't know what. Rhea, though,
[23:45] Speaker 1: was on top of that pod and she dove off
[23:49] Speaker 1: the pod with a cannon ball took out Raquel. Tiffany
[23:52] Speaker 1: then stands up on the ropes and she hits her
[23:55] Speaker 1: prettiest moon Salt ever. She covers Raquel for the pin
[23:58] Speaker 1: and Raquel Rodriguez is eliminated and we are down to two.
[24:02] Speaker 1: We are now down to Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratt.
[24:06] Speaker 1: Tiffany avoided the razor's edge and she delivered an Alabama slam,
[24:11] Speaker 1: only got two out of it. Rhea got her up
[24:13] Speaker 1: for a riptide. Tiffany escaped, Riea ended up posting herself
[24:18] Speaker 1: and then Stratton followed with a swanton bomb. She covered.
[24:22] Speaker 1: Rhea only got two. Tiffany was bleeding from the nose.
[24:25] Speaker 1: I didn't see how it happened. I would imagine she
[24:28] Speaker 1: probably one of the times she got slammed into the
[24:30] Speaker 1: fucking pods, so she was bleeding from the nose. She
[24:33] Speaker 1: went for a prettiest Moonsalt ever. Rhea, though shoved her again.
[24:38] Speaker 1: She went face first into the pod that was in
[24:40] Speaker 1: front of her, and then she got her back. At
[24:42] Speaker 1: the ring, she delivered riptide for the wind and Rhea
[24:46] Speaker 1: Ripley is going to WrestleMania to challenge for the championship.
[24:52] Speaker 1: I like that it came down to Riha and Tiffany.
[24:55] Speaker 1: I liked and they did the same thing in the
[24:56] Speaker 1: main event with Cody and Randy. I like it, And
[24:59] Speaker 1: maybe you can't do it all all the time, but
[25:00] Speaker 1: I like it more often than not when you have
[25:03] Speaker 1: it come down and it's no different in the Royal
[25:05] Speaker 1: Rumble match when it comes down to two people who
[25:08] Speaker 1: could plausibly win. I liked it when they did it
[25:11] Speaker 1: in the Rumble last year with John Cena and jay Uso,
[25:15] Speaker 1: and probably a lot of people figured John Cena was
[25:17] Speaker 1: going to win that, and I'm watching this go and
[25:18] Speaker 1: jay Uso is winning this fucking match. I like when
[25:21] Speaker 1: they do that. And once Alexa Bliss went out because
[25:25] Speaker 1: again I thought she might have a chance of winning,
[25:28] Speaker 1: it was pretty clear Rhea was going to win. But
[25:30] Speaker 1: if anybody had a shot other than Ria Ripley, like
[25:34] Speaker 1: you could see it being Tiffany Stratt. That's not the
[25:37] Speaker 1: match I wanted to see. We've seen it a bunch
[25:39] Speaker 1: of times already. I haven't had any interest in seeing
[25:41] Speaker 1: that as a wrestle media match, but you could at
[25:44] Speaker 1: least argue, Okay, maybe Tiffany might go over here. So
[25:47] Speaker 1: I like that because you always want to keep some
[25:51] Speaker 1: drama in that situation. Tiffany took a beating in that match,
[25:55] Speaker 1: by the way she was bleeding, but I mean she
[25:57] Speaker 1: took some hard bumps in that match. I thought Keana James,
[26:01] Speaker 1: you know, for her first not just her first chamber,
[26:04] Speaker 1: but her first like big match in WWE. I thought
[26:09] Speaker 1: that she looked good in that match. I thought that
[26:11] Speaker 1: she look and they clearly they set her up for
[26:13] Speaker 1: a big night because she was the first one in
[26:17] Speaker 1: to start the match and she was in there for
[26:19] Speaker 1: about twenty minutes, so she had no shot of winning.
[26:22] Speaker 1: But I thought she had a good showing. I thought
[26:24] Speaker 1: Raquel Uh looked good in the match as well. Again,
[26:27] Speaker 1: I know that they were trying to make her look
[26:30] Speaker 1: dominant with that double pin. I just thought that was
[26:32] Speaker 1: a goofy spot. RIEA Ripley winning this match makes sense.
[26:36] Speaker 1: Let's talk about this, okay. Ria Ripley winning this match
[26:40] Speaker 1: makes sense to me. Some people I know were not
[26:43] Speaker 1: gonna like it. It is a fresh match that we
[26:46] Speaker 1: have not seen before. It's tough to do that because
[26:50] Speaker 1: it feels like so many people And this is why
[26:52] Speaker 1: it's good to call up new people from NXT. You
[26:55] Speaker 1: get some new faces. Javon Evans, Trick Williams Obafemi and
[26:59] Speaker 1: then win as well Jordan Grace or soul Ruka who
[27:02] Speaker 1: you know, whoever it may be, because you just see
[27:05] Speaker 1: the same faces against each other over and over. Look
[27:08] Speaker 1: at Cody and Drew Right over and over and over
[27:10] Speaker 1: and over and over again. So it's a fresh match
[27:13] Speaker 1: that we have never seen before. Two women who are
[27:16] Speaker 1: very strong. Right, it's like two powerhouses in the women's
[27:19] Speaker 1: division clashing head to head for the first time. And
[27:24] Speaker 1: I look, Ria Ripley has been out of the world
[27:26] Speaker 1: title picture now for a year. The last time Ria
[27:29] Speaker 1: Ripley held a singles championship in this company, almost to
[27:33] Speaker 1: the day, was a year ago when she lost the
[27:36] Speaker 1: women's world title on Raw to Eo Sky and they
[27:39] Speaker 1: all went on to have that great triple threat match
[27:41] Speaker 1: of WrestleMania. Since then, she's challenged for it because she
[27:46] Speaker 1: wrestled Eo at Evolution for the belt, didn't win it,
[27:49] Speaker 1: But she has not held championship gold in the singles
[27:52] Speaker 1: division in a year, so a lot of time has
[27:55] Speaker 1: gone by. I know, it feels like Ria is always
[27:58] Speaker 1: in the Catbirds scene. She's always got a el right,
[28:00] Speaker 1: she had the women's tag team belt. There's the reason
[28:03] Speaker 1: why Ria Ripley is putting these situations because Riha Ripley
[28:06] Speaker 1: is super fucking over and this is a company that
[28:09] Speaker 1: has been besieged by injuries over the last few months.
[28:13] Speaker 1: And I know they wanted Bianca bel Air back for
[28:16] Speaker 1: this show in a perfect world, and it would have
[28:17] Speaker 1: probably been Bianca and Jade, and so Bianca was not
[28:20] Speaker 1: able to be back in time. But they've been besieged
[28:23] Speaker 1: by injuries and they've just had a lack of depth
[28:25] Speaker 1: on the women's side, especially on SmackDown, and you just
[28:29] Speaker 1: look at the options that were out there, and realistically,
[28:31] Speaker 1: you're looking at, Okay, Bianca's out, what are you looking at?
[28:35] Speaker 1: You're looking at Charlotte, which was my next choice, and
[28:38] Speaker 1: they bounced her out of the qualifying match. That's why,
[28:42] Speaker 1: in my mind I was thinking Alexa Bliss because then
[28:45] Speaker 1: you can find a way to work Charlotte in there,
[28:47] Speaker 1: because you know Charlotte and Alexa and there's issues between
[28:50] Speaker 1: the two of them, and maybe you do a triple threat.
[28:54] Speaker 1: I'm not a huge fan of doing all these multi
[28:56] Speaker 1: person matches, but this is what they've set themselves up for.
[28:59] Speaker 1: This is it's not the strongest wrestle media card this
[29:01] Speaker 1: company's ever put together. So that was what I had
[29:04] Speaker 1: in my mind, Like, you could do Charlotte Alexa Jade
[29:07] Speaker 1: and you know, do that match of wrestle media. If
[29:10] Speaker 1: they weren't going to do Charlotte, the only other option
[29:14] Speaker 1: was Rhea Ripley. Rio Ripley is one of the biggest,
[29:17] Speaker 1: not just stars in the women's division. She is the
[29:19] Speaker 1: biggest star in the women's division, number one, number two,
[29:22] Speaker 1: She's one of the biggest stars in the entire company.
[29:25] Speaker 1: So if you don't think that they don't want Rihea
[29:27] Speaker 1: Ripley in a prime spot of wrestle media, you're a
[29:29] Speaker 1: fucking fool. Now. I was worried that they were going
[29:32] Speaker 1: to have her stuck in tag team hell against Naya
[29:35] Speaker 1: and Lash and the Bellatoines, And I'm like, why would
[29:38] Speaker 1: you do that? Right? This is I was hoping, but
[29:40] Speaker 1: that would not happen in wrestle media. So I'm very
[29:42] Speaker 1: happy to see that. But again, why would you think
[29:46] Speaker 1: that Ria Ripley would not be in a position like
[29:48] Speaker 1: this when they have intentionally kept her out of the
[29:50] Speaker 1: title picture and holding a championship for a year. I
[29:55] Speaker 1: had a couple of people on social media toet that
[29:58] Speaker 1: I was going back and forth with who were like,
[30:00] Speaker 1: it should have been Charlotte Flair. And I laughed because
[30:04] Speaker 1: and again, if it were up to me, it would
[30:06] Speaker 1: have been Charlotte. But I laughed because you know damn
[30:09] Speaker 1: well that if they had gone with Charlotte Flair instead
[30:13] Speaker 1: of Rhea Ripley, you would have so many people losing
[30:16] Speaker 1: their fucking minds. Oh my god, I can't believe they're
[30:19] Speaker 1: going back to Charlotte Flair again. Here we go again,
[30:22] Speaker 1: Charlotte Flair getting another title match of wrestle Bania. Like,
[30:27] Speaker 1: tell me I'm wrong. You can't because you know I'm
[30:29] Speaker 1: not Charlotte and real, I mean, look at Charlotte. The
[30:33] Speaker 1: last time Charlotte held a World Championship singles was WrestleMania
[30:38] Speaker 1: last year. She lost to Tiffany Stratton. She's been out
[30:41] Speaker 1: of the title picture almost as long as Rhea has.
[30:44] Speaker 1: They've had her stuck in the tag team division as well,
[30:47] Speaker 1: which is the best thing, honestly that could have happened
[30:49] Speaker 1: to Charlotte Flair. You talk about people getting sick and
[30:51] Speaker 1: tired of somebody being in that top spot, right, people
[30:56] Speaker 1: were sick and tired of seeing Charlotte Flair at the
[30:58] Speaker 1: top of the card to tell me that it would
[31:01] Speaker 1: have been okay to have Charlotte Flair in that spot,
[31:04] Speaker 1: but not Rhea Ripley. Really, give me a fucking break.
[31:10] Speaker 1: You would have had as many people or more pissing
[31:13] Speaker 1: and moaning about Charlotte being back in the title picture
[31:16] Speaker 1: as you will with Rhea Ripley. I have no issue
[31:20] Speaker 1: at Rhea Ripley going to WRESTLEMANI I'm not even saying
[31:23] Speaker 1: she's gonna win now, She's gonna have her hands full
[31:27] Speaker 1: with Jade, because Jade is not at the level of
[31:30] Speaker 1: the most elite women they have in that division. She's not,
[31:34] Speaker 1: she's not. She just has not advanced to that level.
[31:37] Speaker 1: She's been there now for a few years. She's not there.
[31:41] Speaker 1: So you want to put her in the ring with
[31:42] Speaker 1: women that are gonna give her the best chance of
[31:46] Speaker 1: going out there and having a great match. Rhea Ripley
[31:49] Speaker 1: has had a lot of great matches at WrestleMania. So
[31:53] Speaker 1: if anybody can give Jade a great match at WrestleMania,
[31:55] Speaker 1: I would think Ria would be on a short list
[31:57] Speaker 1: of people who could do that, right, Charlotte might be one,
[32:00] Speaker 1: might be one. So again, I have no issue with
[32:03] Speaker 1: them doing that match. It's the strongest possible match, honestly
[32:07] Speaker 1: in terms of just name value that they could have done.
[32:11] Speaker 1: And this is gonna be the biggest match of Jade's career.
[32:14] Speaker 1: You want her to go in there and not, you know,
[32:16] Speaker 1: have a bad night. You put her in there with
[32:18] Speaker 1: Rhea Ripley, it's a pretty good chance she's gonna end
[32:20] Speaker 1: up having a good night. This was not as good
[32:23] Speaker 1: as last year as Women's Chamber, but it was definitely
[32:25] Speaker 1: the better of the two chamber matches tonight. It was
[32:28] Speaker 1: still a good match, but you know, I can't that
[32:33] Speaker 1: main event tonight. I know we're sitting a low bar here,
[32:36] Speaker 1: but easily this one clears the men's Chamber match. I
[32:41] Speaker 1: will say this though, and somebody brought this up to me,
[32:43] Speaker 1: and I was thinking about it, and this would have
[32:45] Speaker 1: been very interesting what they could have done. This is
[32:48] Speaker 1: kind of thinking outside the box or the crate, as
[32:51] Speaker 1: it were. You could have really surprised people and shocked
[32:55] Speaker 1: the world by having Raquel Rodriguez win this match, with
[32:59] Speaker 1: the idea that Raquel would kind of pull a swerve
[33:02] Speaker 1: and want to be inserted into the women's world title
[33:05] Speaker 1: match at WrestleMania, and that doesn't really work because the
[33:07] Speaker 1: stipulation was very clear, this is for a shot at
[33:10] Speaker 1: Jade's title. But if there was a way around that, right,
[33:13] Speaker 1: think about it, like if she decided, you know what,
[33:15] Speaker 1: I want a shot at the Women's World Championship, which
[33:19] Speaker 1: Live Morgan, who won the Royal Rumble, is already getting
[33:22] Speaker 1: a crack at. But now that turns into a triple
[33:24] Speaker 1: threat match, and you've got Live and Raquel fighting for
[33:28] Speaker 1: the same title of WrestleMania and furthering the drama with it,
[33:33] Speaker 1: because there's always drama with the judgment day. That would
[33:35] Speaker 1: have been very interesting. And then you still would have
[33:37] Speaker 1: had seven weeks of television to get to wherever you
[33:39] Speaker 1: want to go as far as Jade's title and deciding
[33:42] Speaker 1: on a challenger for Jade's belt, because you got seven
[33:45] Speaker 1: weeks of TV. You got to keep things interesting, man,
[33:47] Speaker 1: you got to keep things moving along here, So you
[33:49] Speaker 1: could have made that work, Like there were ways where
[33:52] Speaker 1: they could have made that work. It's an intriguing idea,
[33:55] Speaker 1: but at least now we know the field is set
[33:58] Speaker 1: and we know who the challengers are to be. Now,
[34:01] Speaker 1: the only other thing I'll say about this is this.
[34:03] Speaker 1: I don't know what this means for Eosky. That's my
[34:06] Speaker 1: only concern in this. EO is the best they have,
[34:11] Speaker 1: honestly in that division. She's one of the best wrestlers
[34:13] Speaker 1: in the world. She has a lot of fun to watch.
[34:15] Speaker 1: She has great matches. One of the few people that
[34:18] Speaker 1: even on a bad night where the fans are very quiet,
[34:21] Speaker 1: you could always rely when EO's in there to really
[34:24] Speaker 1: just light up the crowd. She's great and it would
[34:27] Speaker 1: be a sin for them not to have a decent
[34:31] Speaker 1: role for her on that WrestleMania car. We now know
[34:34] Speaker 1: it's not going to have anything to do with Rhea Ripley,
[34:37] Speaker 1: and she's not going to be wrestling for the tag
[34:39] Speaker 1: team titles, which is good, but she needs to be
[34:42] Speaker 1: on that show. You cannot hold EO Sky off the
[34:46] Speaker 1: elimination Chamber and then not have her in a match,
[34:50] Speaker 1: a decent match at WrestleMania. You can't do it. And
[34:54] Speaker 1: I actually do have faith in Triple H on this
[34:56] Speaker 1: one thing, because if you watch WWE Unreal, it's pretty
[35:00] Speaker 1: clear that he thinks very highly of EO Sky. Right
[35:03] Speaker 1: he was singing her praises and saying all these great
[35:05] Speaker 1: things about her, so I'm hopeful they will have some
[35:09] Speaker 1: role for her on that show. Is it a US
[35:11] Speaker 1: title match with Julia? I don't know what else it
[35:15] Speaker 1: would be? What else would it be? I don't know.
[35:20] Speaker 1: That would seem to be the likeliest option. Now, if
[35:22] Speaker 1: you want to throw more women in there, I guess
[35:23] Speaker 1: they could do that. But she needs to have a
[35:26] Speaker 1: fucking match on that show, and not some throwaway match,
[35:28] Speaker 1: not some fucking match on SmackDown the night before. Fuck that.
[35:32] Speaker 1: She needs to find a role on the WrestleMania card.
[35:35] Speaker 1: That's my only hope. I'm glad for Rhea. Congratulations. EO
[35:39] Speaker 1: cannot be left out of the conversation because to me,
[35:43] Speaker 1: that would just be completely ridiculous. Becky Lynch against aj
[35:51] Speaker 1: Lee for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Wade Barrett on commentary
[35:56] Speaker 1: pointed out that he has had a singles match more
[36:00] Speaker 1: recently than aj Lee has, which is a wild stat
[36:05] Speaker 1: to think about, but it's true. Prior to tonight, aj
[36:09] Speaker 1: Lee's last singles match was a raw match in twenty
[36:12] Speaker 1: fifteen against Nicki Bella. Wade Barrett actually wrestled. I believe
[36:16] Speaker 1: his last match was in twenty sixteen, so he has
[36:20] Speaker 1: had a singles match more recently than aj Lee has now.
[36:25] Speaker 1: Jessica Carr was the referee, and may I mentioned this
[36:29] Speaker 1: a few weeks ago. I said, let's see who the
[36:31] Speaker 1: referee is for this match, because I'm thinking the Jessica
[36:35] Speaker 1: Carr because they kind of they haven't really focused on
[36:39] Speaker 1: that too heavily recently. Right, there was a lot of
[36:41] Speaker 1: issues between her and Becky and then they kind of
[36:43] Speaker 1: got away from it. I said, let's see if they
[36:46] Speaker 1: come back around to it on this show. So when
[36:49] Speaker 1: I saw the shit was the referee, I said, okay,
[36:52] Speaker 1: something going down here. So early in the match, Michael
[36:57] Speaker 1: Cole said that Becky was looking to take down A Styles,
[37:02] Speaker 1: and I mean, who wants to tell her that she
[37:06] Speaker 1: missed her chance? Who wants to be the one to
[37:09] Speaker 1: tell Becky Lynch the bad news? Aj Styles ain't around
[37:14] Speaker 1: no more. You ain't gonna be able to take him down.
[37:19] Speaker 1: First part of the match was Becky just kicking her ass,
[37:23] Speaker 1: and the Chicago crowd it just sounded like they were
[37:26] Speaker 1: sitting on their hands for most of it. They finally
[37:30] Speaker 1: started a very light aj Lee chant and they got
[37:34] Speaker 1: into a slug fest as much as you can buy
[37:37] Speaker 1: a five foot tall, you know, petit woman getting into
[37:42] Speaker 1: a slugfest with somebody. I wouldn't say that aj Lee
[37:45] Speaker 1: is a brawler. I wouldn't say that her strength. Her
[37:49] Speaker 1: strength is not throwing hands with people, but that's what
[37:51] Speaker 1: she was doing here with Becky Lynch. She caught Becky
[37:54] Speaker 1: with a bulldog coming off the ropes. That created some
[37:57] Speaker 1: separation for her to try to get back into things here.
[38:01] Speaker 1: She landed a tornado DDT off the ropes and then
[38:04] Speaker 1: caught Becky with a shining wizard that Michael Cole tried
[38:07] Speaker 1: to sell as a finish. That did used to be
[38:10] Speaker 1: one of her signature moves. The audience wasn't buying it,
[38:14] Speaker 1: or maybe they just didn't realize it because she hasn't
[38:16] Speaker 1: been around in so long. Becky exposed one of the
[38:19] Speaker 1: top turn buckles. At this point, she ripped the turnbuckle
[38:22] Speaker 1: pad off. Referee was checking on aj so Jessica did
[38:26] Speaker 1: not see it. Aj went up top for something, but
[38:29] Speaker 1: Becky cut her off followed her up, but she hit
[38:33] Speaker 1: a superplex off the ropes and she transitioned into an
[38:38] Speaker 1: arm bar. Aj though countered into a pin for a
[38:41] Speaker 1: two count. So at this point, Jessica Carr looks over
[38:44] Speaker 1: and she realizes that the protective padding has been removed,
[38:47] Speaker 1: so she picks up the turnbuckle pad and she's going
[38:50] Speaker 1: to try to replace it. So as she's in the
[38:53] Speaker 1: process of doing this, Becky shoves AJ into her in
[38:56] Speaker 1: the corner. And it was weird because she sold it
[39:01] Speaker 1: like the referee sold it, but didn't really take a
[39:03] Speaker 1: bump for it. She was like, oh, but then she
[39:07] Speaker 1: quickly went down to count the attempted fall. So then
[39:12] Speaker 1: Becky threw a kick at AJ ended up nailing Jessica
[39:15] Speaker 1: in the head with it, and this knocked her out cold.
[39:19] Speaker 1: So now Jessica car is down. AJ got a black
[39:22] Speaker 1: widow applied. There was no referee, so Becky ended up
[39:27] Speaker 1: taking Aj outside the ring. She's beating her up for
[39:29] Speaker 1: a while, then she slid a chair into the ring.
[39:32] Speaker 1: Jessica still down by the way, nobody's come down to
[39:34] Speaker 1: check on her. She's just laying there dead. So AJ
[39:38] Speaker 1: suddenly made a comeback outside and she's battering Becky up
[39:41] Speaker 1: against the barricade and puts her back in the ring. Becky, though,
[39:45] Speaker 1: plants AJ on the chair that's in the ring with
[39:48] Speaker 1: a ddtape, and then she got rid of the evidence
[39:51] Speaker 1: and she went to go wake up Jessica, and then
[39:54] Speaker 1: she dropped AJ with a man handle slam and she
[39:56] Speaker 1: covered her. Jessica's over to count. AJ kicks out of
[40:00] Speaker 1: two and a half. Now the crowd is. Crowd's waking
[40:04] Speaker 1: up now finally, so Becky goes to throw her into
[40:08] Speaker 1: the exposed buckle, but the referee got him the way
[40:11] Speaker 1: to stop her and says no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[40:13] Speaker 1: you can't do that. Becky came charging into the corner
[40:17] Speaker 1: though she's gonna because AJ was in the corner, So
[40:19] Speaker 1: she comes charging into the corner. AJ side steps her
[40:23] Speaker 1: and Becky goes face first into the exposed steal, at
[40:26] Speaker 1: which point Becky stumbles backwards and she feeds right into
[40:31] Speaker 1: a black widow. AJ gets the hole applied, and she
[40:35] Speaker 1: didn't really wait too long before she tapped out. This
[40:38] Speaker 1: was like the the Gunther tap out in the sleeper
[40:40] Speaker 1: hole to Jay Usso WrestleMania last year, where j Usso
[40:43] Speaker 1: got the sleeper replied, and Gunther really didn't sell it
[40:46] Speaker 1: for too long. He just quickly tapped out, and that's
[40:48] Speaker 1: what Becky Lynch did here, she tapped out here, and
[40:52] Speaker 1: aj Lee, for the first time in twelve years, is
[40:56] Speaker 1: a champion again here in wait, let's talk about aj Lee. First.
[41:04] Speaker 1: We saw aj Lee in the wrestled Palooza mixtag match
[41:10] Speaker 1: last year, and that was a good match, right, but
[41:13] Speaker 1: it was a tag team match, so she didn't have
[41:15] Speaker 1: to really carry the full brunt of being in there
[41:18] Speaker 1: for the full fifteen twenty minutes whatever it was this match,
[41:22] Speaker 1: I think, what about fifteen minutes, And for someone who
[41:25] Speaker 1: hasn't had a singles match in all of these years
[41:28] Speaker 1: and doesn't really wrestle a lot even now at all,
[41:32] Speaker 1: I thought she looked fine. It was very slow in
[41:35] Speaker 1: the early going. It took a while to really get going,
[41:39] Speaker 1: and the crowd was like the crowd really didn't sound
[41:42] Speaker 1: too excited about it, and Becky was getting the heat
[41:45] Speaker 1: on her for so long. Then she made her come
[41:47] Speaker 1: back and then it kind of built to the finish
[41:49] Speaker 1: and it was fine. You know, she was not like
[41:52] Speaker 1: she was in there embarrassing herself where she looked like
[41:54] Speaker 1: she was gassed or anything like that. I can't say
[41:57] Speaker 1: the same for Punk in his match, but we'll get
[41:59] Speaker 1: to that. So I thought Becky and Becky looked fine,
[42:03] Speaker 1: and I thought aj Lee looked fine here in this match,
[42:05] Speaker 1: especially for someone who has been gone for so long
[42:07] Speaker 1: and hasn't had a singles match. But it's exactly like
[42:11] Speaker 1: I said coming into this match, watch for Jessica Carr's involvement.
[42:16] Speaker 1: And if you are going to do a title change
[42:19] Speaker 1: in this match, which I was hoping they would, Jessica
[42:23] Speaker 1: will factor into the finish of the match. Becky will
[42:26] Speaker 1: have something to rant and rave about when we see
[42:28] Speaker 1: her on TV this week, and it will feed into
[42:31] Speaker 1: a rematch. You can run this back again, maybe with
[42:34] Speaker 1: a stipulation for the championship at WrestleMania. And if the
[42:38] Speaker 1: idea is to get the belt back on Becky, put
[42:40] Speaker 1: the belt on aj now. She doesn't need to win
[42:42] Speaker 1: it at WrestleMania. You're in Chicago. Put the belt on
[42:46] Speaker 1: aj Lee here on this show. Because if aj Lee
[42:50] Speaker 1: is only going to appear sporadically, I don't want to
[42:53] Speaker 1: see her with the Intercontinental Championship. I don't want to
[42:55] Speaker 1: see anybody walking around with any championship. But we're going
[42:58] Speaker 1: to see them only sporadically. They don't need to be
[43:00] Speaker 1: a champion. They're a special attraction. They don't need a belt.
[43:04] Speaker 1: If she's going to be around great. If she's not,
[43:07] Speaker 1: then I would rather put the belt on her now,
[43:09] Speaker 1: let her get a little run with it, run it
[43:12] Speaker 1: back in Las Vegas, and get that fucking thing off her.
[43:16] Speaker 1: So I had no issue with them putting the belt
[43:18] Speaker 1: on her tonight. This felt like it was the right
[43:20] Speaker 1: place to do it. And if the idea is that
[43:23] Speaker 1: they're going to do this again, then Becky could always
[43:25] Speaker 1: win the belt back. Now. To be honest with you,
[43:27] Speaker 1: I don't even really need to see Becky Lynch win
[43:29] Speaker 1: the belt back. If we're being perfectly honest here, and
[43:31] Speaker 1: I said this on Twitter, I would be fine not
[43:33] Speaker 1: even doing this match again because they have really been
[43:36] Speaker 1: building up this issue for months now between Becky Lynch
[43:40] Speaker 1: and Jessica Carr now Jessica Carr for those who don't know,
[43:43] Speaker 1: she did wrestle previously. In fact, I think a number
[43:48] Speaker 1: of months ago. I want to say it was last
[43:50] Speaker 1: year when they had a bunch of might have been
[43:52] Speaker 1: evolved tapings, or if it was LF, I think it
[43:56] Speaker 1: was evolved. She wrestled on those tapings under a different name.
[44:00] Speaker 1: I think she was under a mask, so it's not
[44:02] Speaker 1: like she hasn't wrestled before. She could absolutely wrestle one match.
[44:06] Speaker 1: Are they building to a match between Becky Linch and
[44:09] Speaker 1: Jessica Carr. Now you could look at this and go, well,
[44:11] Speaker 1: why would they have her wrestling a referee? Because it's
[44:14] Speaker 1: an angle? Why do we have bad Bunny in the
[44:17] Speaker 1: fucking ring? Why do we have Jelly Roll in the ring.
[44:19] Speaker 1: It's a fucking attraction on the show. Jessica Carr has
[44:23] Speaker 1: been around now for a number of years and the
[44:25] Speaker 1: fans seem to like her, and they've clearly been building
[44:27] Speaker 1: some sort of story here with her and Becky. There's
[44:29] Speaker 1: got to be some sort of payoff to all this,
[44:31] Speaker 1: or where else would it be going If they weren't
[44:33] Speaker 1: going to do a match at some point, where the
[44:35] Speaker 1: hell else would this be going. So I would be
[44:38] Speaker 1: fine if they wanted to do Becky Lynch in a match,
[44:41] Speaker 1: just a one off match her and Jessica Carr at WrestleMania,
[44:45] Speaker 1: and then let aj Lee go defend the Intercommittal Championship
[44:47] Speaker 1: against somebody else and let her drop the belt to
[44:50] Speaker 1: somebody else. In the name I threw out there was
[44:52] Speaker 1: Roxane Perez. Now hoping and assuming that Roxanne will be
[44:57] Speaker 1: recovered and she'll be back in time for WrestleMania. I
[45:00] Speaker 1: know what her health status is with her back, but
[45:02] Speaker 1: let's assume that she'll be okay for WrestleMania. What else
[45:05] Speaker 1: would she be doing on the show that would be
[45:06] Speaker 1: the perfect role for her. I think Roxanne the work
[45:08] Speaker 1: that she's put in over the past year has been great,
[45:11] Speaker 1: and I think that Intercontinental title was Taylor made for
[45:15] Speaker 1: someone like her. Right not to say she can't be
[45:18] Speaker 1: a women's World champion at some point, but she's not
[45:20] Speaker 1: in that mix right now. That title would be perfect
[45:24] Speaker 1: around her waist for her to bring that belt into
[45:27] Speaker 1: the judgment day, and I think for her it would
[45:29] Speaker 1: be a real thrill because if I'm remembering, I believe
[45:33] Speaker 1: she was a huge aj Lee mark when she was younger.
[45:36] Speaker 1: She's like the biggest aj Lee fan, So for her,
[45:38] Speaker 1: I'm sure she'd be thrilled to be working a match
[45:41] Speaker 1: with her at WrestleMania. So yeah, I would have no
[45:45] Speaker 1: issue with that. I'd actually prefer to see that. Let
[45:48] Speaker 1: Becky go off and do her thing with Jessica Carr
[45:50] Speaker 1: and let aj defend the belt against someone like Roxanne
[45:53] Speaker 1: at WrestleMania. I think that'd be great. Now we talked
[45:58] Speaker 1: about aj Lee, so we got to talk about cm Punk.
[46:00] Speaker 1: He was up next, So Baler made his entrance first.
[46:04] Speaker 1: I'm very happy by the way that he is back
[46:06] Speaker 1: to using his better theme music. And then it was
[46:11] Speaker 1: time for Cmpunk's entrance. He got a special entrance tonight.
[46:17] Speaker 1: This I enjoyed. So they dim the lights and then
[46:22] Speaker 1: we hear Sirious by the Alan Parsons Project, which was
[46:28] Speaker 1: a nod to the Michael Jordan era of the Chicago Bulls,
[46:32] Speaker 1: or it could very well be a nod to Ricky
[46:34] Speaker 1: the Dragon Steamboat, take your pick, because that was Ricky
[46:37] Speaker 1: Steamboat's music in WWE many years ago, which is why
[46:40] Speaker 1: whenever they show his old shit on the Vault on YouTube,
[46:43] Speaker 1: it's or really anything DVDs or anything is always edited out.
[46:47] Speaker 1: It's not the music he used to come out to.
[46:50] Speaker 1: And don't discount the possibility that that was done intentionally,
[46:53] Speaker 1: because today happened to be Ricky Steamboat's birthday. Happy birthday,
[47:01] Speaker 1: he's seventy three years young. Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, I see.
[47:05] Speaker 1: I'd like to think it was a nod both to
[47:07] Speaker 1: the Jordan era of the Bulls and to Ricky Steamboat
[47:10] Speaker 1: as well. Didn't they work together in Ring of Honor?
[47:14] Speaker 1: I thought that Punk and Steamboat, oh even in AW
[47:18] Speaker 1: I think they did right. Wasn't that with Ricky Starks
[47:20] Speaker 1: and the Strap match stuff leading up to it? I
[47:24] Speaker 1: can't remember now anyway, Happy birthday to Ricky Steamboat. But
[47:29] Speaker 1: they also had the old PA announcer Ray Clay, who
[47:33] Speaker 1: used to deliver the introductions for the Jordan teams. He
[47:36] Speaker 1: delivered an introduction for CM Punk, who they showed in
[47:40] Speaker 1: the back walking out of his locker room, and before
[47:43] Speaker 1: he came out, they did play his cult of Personality theme,
[47:47] Speaker 1: so anyway, a little special entrance for him. I thought
[47:49] Speaker 1: that was very cool. So they start the match out
[47:54] Speaker 1: and Balor before long is targeting Punk's midsection for this long,
[48:01] Speaker 1: a very long, quiet stretch that dragged on for a
[48:04] Speaker 1: while as Punk got worked over. Balor slipped out of
[48:09] Speaker 1: a GTS attempt. Punk followed with a suicide dive and
[48:12] Speaker 1: a flying clothes line back in the ring for a
[48:14] Speaker 1: two count, so both men fought on the ropes. Punk
[48:18] Speaker 1: fell to the mat and Balor went for the cudigrass.
[48:21] Speaker 1: Punk was able to avoid it, and then Punk, who
[48:24] Speaker 1: came up with a bloody mouth. He came back with
[48:26] Speaker 1: a diving elbow off the top. He got the anacon
[48:29] Speaker 1: device applied, Balor escaped. He rolled Punk into a pin
[48:33] Speaker 1: only for a near fall, so Balor went up top.
[48:36] Speaker 1: He did finally hit the kuda grass and he covered.
[48:38] Speaker 1: Punk did not get three, so Balor showed frustration. He
[48:43] Speaker 1: starts looking over towards the entrance, and on commentary, Michael
[48:48] Speaker 1: Cole wondered if Balor was thinking twice about telling Dominic,
[48:51] Speaker 1: Mysterio and JD McDonough to hang back, because if you
[48:55] Speaker 1: remember on TV, Balor said, I need to do this alone.
[48:58] Speaker 1: I don't want anybody's helping to do this by myself,
[49:01] Speaker 1: so maybe he was starting to have second thoughts here.
[49:05] Speaker 1: Punk hit Balor with a GTS. Balor, though fell out
[49:07] Speaker 1: of the ring to the floor. Punk followed him out.
[49:10] Speaker 1: He got put down though with a sling blade. Balor
[49:12] Speaker 1: followed with a shotgun dropkick that sent Punk through the
[49:15] Speaker 1: timekeeper's barricade. Gotta have at least one of those on
[49:18] Speaker 1: every show. There you go. He hit our quota, so
[49:20] Speaker 1: Balor rolled Punk back in the ring. He followed and
[49:24] Speaker 1: Punk hoisted him up for a GTS. Balor slipped out.
[49:28] Speaker 1: He dropped him with another sling blade. Balor put Punk
[49:31] Speaker 1: down with a shotgun dropkick, and he was going for
[49:35] Speaker 1: another koudo grass. Punk, though, was ready for him, and
[49:39] Speaker 1: on the way down he caught his leg, turning it
[49:42] Speaker 1: into He transitioned into a sharpshooter, not a very good one.
[49:48] Speaker 1: He was struggling to get him in position for him,
[49:50] Speaker 1: but he tried. I myself am a big fan of
[49:55] Speaker 1: the sharpshooter, so I'll cut him some slack. But this
[50:01] Speaker 1: was not the best sharpshooter that you'll ever see. He
[50:03] Speaker 1: looked very tired. Punk looked more tired in this matter
[50:07] Speaker 1: than aj Lee did in hers. Balor reached the ropes
[50:11] Speaker 1: to break the whole. Punk held Balor's right arm. At
[50:13] Speaker 1: this point, he starts throwing kicks. He pulls Balor to
[50:17] Speaker 1: his feet, hoists him up for a GTS and it
[50:20] Speaker 1: connected Flush and he pinned him to retain the title.
[50:24] Speaker 1: When the match was over, Balor he shoved Punk. They
[50:26] Speaker 1: stared at one another until Balor put his hand out.
[50:30] Speaker 1: He extended his hand for a handshake, Punk accepted. There
[50:35] Speaker 1: was a little knot of respect in there between the
[50:37] Speaker 1: two men. I'm sure that won't go over too well,
[50:39] Speaker 1: but live Morgan. On Monday Night, aj Lee at this
[50:42] Speaker 1: point ran out with her new Intercontinental title. She got
[50:46] Speaker 1: in the ring to celebrate with her husband and they
[50:49] Speaker 1: both had their belts and they posed and it was
[50:52] Speaker 1: a nice moment here for the two of them. Look,
[50:55] Speaker 1: I thought it was a good match, as crowd reactions go,
[50:59] Speaker 1: Punk versus John Cena in Chicago, this was not This
[51:03] Speaker 1: was definitely not that I'm not saying I was expecting
[51:06] Speaker 1: that same atmosphere. But again, Chicago tends to be one
[51:09] Speaker 1: of the hottest wrestling crowds that you will find anywhere,
[51:13] Speaker 1: and this is CM punk in Chicago. Obviously, he got
[51:15] Speaker 1: a great reaction coming out. I was hopeful that maybe
[51:19] Speaker 1: there would be this great atmosphere here for a big
[51:21] Speaker 1: Punk title match, maybe the last who knows, maybe the
[51:25] Speaker 1: last title match, maybe the last title defense he'll ever
[51:27] Speaker 1: have in Chicago, right, who the hell knows? And we
[51:31] Speaker 1: did not get that here. They worked a very methodical
[51:34] Speaker 1: pace and look, they already announced what the main event
[51:39] Speaker 1: of WrestleMania is going to be. We knew this weeks ago.
[51:42] Speaker 1: We know it is Roman Reigns against CM Punk. By
[51:46] Speaker 1: the way, I don't have it in front of you,
[51:48] Speaker 1: but I know Roman Reigns on Twitter. I believe he
[51:52] Speaker 1: was sticking it to Punk. He made a post and
[51:55] Speaker 1: he said something. I don't know who was more tired,
[51:57] Speaker 1: the crowd or the champion. Tonight see you on Monday,
[52:02] Speaker 1: because I believe Roman is supposed to be on Raw
[52:04] Speaker 1: this Monday, so I'm not the only one poking fun
[52:07] Speaker 1: at the quiet crowd and how tired Punk looks. So hey,
[52:09] Speaker 1: don't look at me. Roman said the same thing, But
[52:14] Speaker 1: we already knew what the main event was going to be. Like,
[52:16] Speaker 1: nobody in their right mind honestly believed that Finn Balor
[52:20] Speaker 1: had a prayer of doing anything in this match other
[52:24] Speaker 1: than taking the pin one, two three, because that's what
[52:28] Speaker 1: he does. That's why I call him pin Balor. I've
[52:31] Speaker 1: been calling him that for years before anybody else was
[52:35] Speaker 1: literally years, I've been calling him pinn Balor. There's a
[52:37] Speaker 1: reason for that. Maybe if this company did not book
[52:40] Speaker 1: Finn Balor as a low mid carter for so many years,
[52:44] Speaker 1: maybe they would have had a little bit of hope
[52:46] Speaker 1: that things might have gone differently, even in that television
[52:48] Speaker 1: match they had about a month ago. But this is
[52:51] Speaker 1: what happens, you know. It's like all of a sudden,
[52:53] Speaker 1: they woke up at the beginning of the year and
[52:55] Speaker 1: they said, Okay, we're gonna do something with Finn Balor. Here.
[52:57] Speaker 1: We're gonna have him in a little mini feud with CMP.
[53:00] Speaker 1: He'll have a couple of title matches. And that's great
[53:02] Speaker 1: because I like Finn Balor. But let's be honest here,
[53:05] Speaker 1: the way that he has been booked now for the
[53:07] Speaker 1: last I don't know fucking three four five years, he
[53:10] Speaker 1: hasn't exactly been booked as anyone that you would look
[53:13] Speaker 1: at as like a main event player in this company.
[53:15] Speaker 1: He has been at a certain level. They have not
[53:18] Speaker 1: done a whole hell of a lot to convince you
[53:22] Speaker 1: that they look at him at this stage at any
[53:25] Speaker 1: level above the level that he has been at. So
[53:28] Speaker 1: when you put him in a situation like this, you're
[53:30] Speaker 1: looking for drama. You're looking to try to convince the
[53:32] Speaker 1: audience that maybe this match might go a different way,
[53:35] Speaker 1: maybe maybe just maybe he might actually walk out as
[53:38] Speaker 1: the world champion. There was no chance of that here.
[53:41] Speaker 1: People knew that, so that didn't help in terms of
[53:44] Speaker 1: the reaction and everything. People weren't buying into the near false.
[53:46] Speaker 1: People weren't buying into Finn Balor as a challenger to
[53:51] Speaker 1: the World Heavyweight title. Here. It doesn't matter how good
[53:53] Speaker 1: of a wrestler he is, it doesn't matter. They're not
[53:56] Speaker 1: buying what they're selling. So that did not help matters.
[54:02] Speaker 1: The Balor said he wanted to go it alone here
[54:05] Speaker 1: in this match, and then he shook Punk's hand when
[54:07] Speaker 1: the match was over. I think he did the same
[54:08] Speaker 1: thing in Ireland when they had that match in Dublin,
[54:12] Speaker 1: right or wherever they were. Now it wasn't Dublin. Where
[54:15] Speaker 1: were they I don't remember. Now Belfast that's where it was.
[54:21] Speaker 1: I don't want to piss off the people of Belfast.
[54:23] Speaker 1: We ain't Dublin. It was Belfast. But that's what created
[54:28] Speaker 1: problems with him and live Morgan. So here he is
[54:31] Speaker 1: again losing shaking hands with Cmpunk. Now we have this
[54:35] Speaker 1: match on Monday Night where Dominic, who wants Balor and
[54:40] Speaker 1: McDonough to be there to help him, is defending his
[54:42] Speaker 1: Intercontinental title against Pento. I still think the direction for
[54:46] Speaker 1: WrestleMania is going to be Balor and Dom, whether there's
[54:48] Speaker 1: a title on the line or not, might even get
[54:52] Speaker 1: the Demon back for that match. We'll see how that
[54:56] Speaker 1: story plays out. And we have several weeks to go
[54:59] Speaker 1: before we get to WrestleMania, but again Dom has a
[55:02] Speaker 1: title defense on Monday, so we shall see. It was
[55:07] Speaker 1: creat time, you're ready. There it is on screen. We
[55:11] Speaker 1: got to talk about the crate. They dimmed the lights
[55:14] Speaker 1: in the building and they cut to Adam Pierce and
[55:18] Speaker 1: Nick all This who were on stage, and they had
[55:22] Speaker 1: crowbars and they were using the crowbars to pry the
[55:27] Speaker 1: crate opened so we could see what's inside. And when
[55:30] Speaker 1: the front part of the crate popped off, what did
[55:32] Speaker 1: we see. We saw a wooden coffin inside the crate.
[55:39] Speaker 1: And then once the coffin opened, outwalked several female dancers.
[55:47] Speaker 1: I didn't count how many, it was at least half
[55:48] Speaker 1: a dozen female dancers that were wearing face paint very
[55:53] Speaker 1: much like Dan Hausen's face paint. And they all come
[55:57] Speaker 1: out and they're dancing, I think they were, say, and
[56:03] Speaker 1: so at least now we know why they chose to
[56:05] Speaker 1: do this entrance. By the way, by the stage and
[56:07] Speaker 1: not in the ring, because I could have sworn that
[56:09] Speaker 1: on television. Adam Pearce had said that just ship the
[56:13] Speaker 1: crate to Chicago. Me and Nickel opened it together in
[56:16] Speaker 1: the ring. Well, given what they did here, you couldn't
[56:20] Speaker 1: well do it in the ring because they had multiple
[56:22] Speaker 1: people who were coming out of the box, so it
[56:25] Speaker 1: had to be done the way they did it on
[56:26] Speaker 1: the stage. But we heard Dan Housen's voice and then
[56:32] Speaker 1: we heard what will be his music, and he emerged
[56:35] Speaker 1: from the coffin, and I'm pretty sure that I heard
[56:40] Speaker 1: a pop, small pop, but I do believe he got
[56:44] Speaker 1: an initial pop once people realized who it was and
[56:47] Speaker 1: he initially came out of the crate. It wasn't overwhelming,
[56:52] Speaker 1: it did not last very long, but it was there.
[56:54] Speaker 1: I know what I heard. I know what I heard
[56:57] Speaker 1: because again, this crowd was mostly quiet for the entire
[56:59] Speaker 1: fucking show. To believe me, if there was a pop
[57:02] Speaker 1: to be heard, I heard it. So he comes out,
[57:05] Speaker 1: and he and all of the women are making their
[57:08] Speaker 1: way down the aisle on their way to the ring,
[57:10] Speaker 1: and he circles the ring outside. He walks over by
[57:13] Speaker 1: the announced desk and he places his jar of teeth
[57:17] Speaker 1: on the announced desk in front of Michael Cole and
[57:20] Speaker 1: Wade Barrett. And Michael Cole does not know. He just
[57:23] Speaker 1: puzzled by all of this. He doesn't know what to
[57:25] Speaker 1: make of any of this. He's looking at the jar.
[57:27] Speaker 1: Wade Barrett congratulated Cole on getting his first set of dentures.
[57:32] Speaker 1: Dan Housen enters the ring as the women danced, and
[57:36] Speaker 1: then there was a puff of smoke, and then the
[57:41] Speaker 1: lights went out again. The music stopped, and the fans
[57:45] Speaker 1: in Chicago they booed, and then the lights came back
[57:50] Speaker 1: on and Dan Housen and the dancers were gone, and
[57:55] Speaker 1: Michael Cole wondered, what the hell just happened here. I'll
[57:59] Speaker 1: bet there were a lot of people in the crowd
[58:00] Speaker 1: wondering that same thing. I was wondering that the moment
[58:04] Speaker 1: this fucking crate showed up on TV. Nothing good has
[58:09] Speaker 1: ever come out of a crate in this company, or
[58:13] Speaker 1: an egg or anything else, or through a wall in WCW.
[58:20] Speaker 1: It was a ridiculous concept from the beginning, and that
[58:23] Speaker 1: should have been a dead giveaway about who or what
[58:25] Speaker 1: was going to come out of this thing. Even just
[58:28] Speaker 1: the idea that a human being would be locked inside
[58:30] Speaker 1: this crate for twelve days. Like that's why I joked.
[58:34] Speaker 1: You really think it's gonna be Jericho or seth Rollins
[58:37] Speaker 1: is gonna come back? Like, dude, they're gonna pride that
[58:40] Speaker 1: crate open and their dead body is gonna come tumbling out.
[58:43] Speaker 1: Are you out of here fucking mind? This was a
[58:46] Speaker 1: gimmick that was tailor made for someone like Dan Housen.
[58:51] Speaker 1: Now should they have done it on you know, a
[58:53] Speaker 1: pl e like this, No, because then you end up
[58:57] Speaker 1: with the reaction that you got. You set people's expectations
[59:00] Speaker 1: high because they love doing these mystery angles. They do
[59:04] Speaker 1: them back to back, the mystery man, the mystery crate,
[59:07] Speaker 1: the mystery meets like if it's a mystery, believe me,
[59:10] Speaker 1: they'll they'll do it. They love their mysteries. But people
[59:14] Speaker 1: just assume. Men, you're building this up for weeks and weeks,
[59:17] Speaker 1: and we got this big show coming up, and it
[59:19] Speaker 1: must be something big. So you can understand why people
[59:22] Speaker 1: would be a little disappointed either to see Dan Housen
[59:26] Speaker 1: or that he showed up and then proceeded to do
[59:28] Speaker 1: absolutely nothing. He came down to the ring and did nothing.
[59:32] Speaker 1: He didn't speak, he didn't do anything. He just disappeared.
[59:37] Speaker 1: And everyone's looking at this going two weeks, three weeks
[59:41] Speaker 1: of this create nonsense for that, really, you can understand
[59:45] Speaker 1: why they would be disappointed. It's still though, but you know,
[59:48] Speaker 1: I still felt bad though, because this is Dan Housen's
[59:51] Speaker 1: big WWE debut, and when it was over, it went
[59:54] Speaker 1: over like a fucking fart in church and people booed. So, now,
[59:58] Speaker 1: what role does he settle in on TV? He's going
[1:00:01] Speaker 1: to be like the mascot. That's basically what he's going
[1:00:03] Speaker 1: to be. He's going to be the mascot of WWE,
[1:00:06] Speaker 1: like when they had the Gobbledegooker all those years ago.
[1:00:09] Speaker 1: There was talk about apparently there was talk about the
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: Gobbledegooker was going to be like at least the annual
[1:00:15] Speaker 1: Survivor series mascot. I think that was the original intent
[1:00:18] Speaker 1: behind it, and I think they just realized, Man, this
[1:00:20] Speaker 1: is fucking stupid. We got to just pretend this never
[1:00:23] Speaker 1: happened until years later and they just sort of embraced it,
[1:00:25] Speaker 1: and he was in the Gimmick Battle Royal at WrestleMania.
[1:00:28] Speaker 1: They would trot him out there for anniversary shows but
[1:00:32] Speaker 1: I think that was the original idea. He would be
[1:00:33] Speaker 1: like the mascot for Survivor series, and I think that's
[1:00:37] Speaker 1: basically what Dan Housen is going to be here in WWE.
[1:00:41] Speaker 1: And who knows. I mean, maybe he'll interact with some
[1:00:43] Speaker 1: people high up on the card. He and Punk are
[1:00:45] Speaker 1: like this. Maybe Punk will be like, yeah, I want
[1:00:47] Speaker 1: to do some stuff with Dan Housen. But I certainly
[1:00:50] Speaker 1: would not have Cmpunk doing anything with Dan Housen as
[1:00:52] Speaker 1: he is building up his match with Roman Reigns for WrestleMania,
[1:00:56] Speaker 1: Let's wait a little bit before we have any sort
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: of real interaction with punkin Danausen. What's he gonna do?
[1:01:02] Speaker 1: I mean, who cares. It's whatever it is. It's gonna
[1:01:05] Speaker 1: be just comedy fodder for the show. I mean that's
[1:01:08] Speaker 1: what the character is. The character is not meant to
[1:01:10] Speaker 1: be taken seriously. But I do think it's something that
[1:01:13] Speaker 1: could get over with the audience in kind of like
[1:01:14] Speaker 1: a fun way. You know, some sort of like mid
[1:01:17] Speaker 1: card comedy act that gets over with certain people or
[1:01:20] Speaker 1: gets over with kids. I think it could work. I
[1:01:23] Speaker 1: think they could sell Dan house and merch. It's like
[1:01:26] Speaker 1: what mister Iguana is whenever he's out there with the
[1:01:29] Speaker 1: fucking puppet, you know, like like Yeska on his shoulder.
[1:01:31] Speaker 1: I mean, that's basically what this is. But you don't see,
[1:01:35] Speaker 1: you know, a giant crate with mister Iguana popping out
[1:01:38] Speaker 1: of it. So I just think the timing and you know,
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: the location for it and the way they did it.
[1:01:45] Speaker 1: It didn't do him any favors, unfortunately, But yes, Chicago
[1:01:49] Speaker 1: did boo Dan Housen. Unfortunately. That's like the Eagles fans
[1:01:54] Speaker 1: in Philly booing Santa Claus. I mean, you can't be
[1:01:56] Speaker 1: doing that. What are you doing here? Anyway, that was it.
[1:02:05] Speaker 1: That was the crate. That was the big reveal. Nothing
[1:02:08] Speaker 1: else was said about it, and they just moved on
[1:02:09] Speaker 1: and tried to pretend that it didn't even happen. Well,
[1:02:14] Speaker 1: we only had one match left because we had to
[1:02:16] Speaker 1: do the crate angle. We couldn't fit a fifth match
[1:02:19] Speaker 1: on this pla because we had to do the crate angle,
[1:02:22] Speaker 1: and because we need long entrances on this show. And
[1:02:27] Speaker 1: that was the story here of the beginning here of
[1:02:30] Speaker 1: this match, because they closed with the men's elimination chamber.
[1:02:34] Speaker 1: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton La Knight. I think maybe we
[1:02:39] Speaker 1: just found La Knight's opponent for WrestleMania. La Knight against
[1:02:45] Speaker 1: Dan Hausen at WrestleMania. Can't go any worse for La
[1:02:52] Speaker 1: Night than the night he had tonight. Randy Orton, La Knight,
[1:03:01] Speaker 1: Javon Evans, Trick Williams, and Logan Paul. Logan Paul qualified
[1:03:06] Speaker 1: for this match last night on smack Down with a
[1:03:08] Speaker 1: win over Jacob Fatu because jay Usso was taken out
[1:03:13] Speaker 1: by a mystery assailant. Are we going to get a
[1:03:17] Speaker 1: resolution to this story? Are we ever going to find
[1:03:19] Speaker 1: out who attacked jay Uso? Maybe? Maybe? Yes, maybe no.
[1:03:23] Speaker 1: I honestly don't know. They had to get out of
[1:03:27] Speaker 1: that as quickly as possible because jay Usso was never
[1:03:30] Speaker 1: intended to be in the elimination chamber. It was supposed
[1:03:34] Speaker 1: to be Bronson Reid. He got injured, He's already had
[1:03:36] Speaker 1: surgery for a torn bicep. He's on the mend. So
[1:03:39] Speaker 1: they just substituted one Vision member for another. Instead of
[1:03:44] Speaker 1: Bronson Reid, we have Logan Paul. I think they said
[1:03:46] Speaker 1: this was Logan Pol's third elimination chamber, which is kind
[1:03:49] Speaker 1: of crazy. Has he really been around for that long.
[1:03:53] Speaker 1: I mean, I guess he has the first match that
[1:03:55] Speaker 1: Logan Paul had in WWE would have been what twenty two?
[1:04:02] Speaker 1: It was that tag match right with the Miz at WrestleMania.
[1:04:04] Speaker 1: That had to be WrestleMania thirty eight. I think so. Yeah,
[1:04:08] Speaker 1: he's been around almost four years at this point. It's
[1:04:11] Speaker 1: pretty crazy. Trick Williams was out first and the crowd
[1:04:16] Speaker 1: was vibing with his theme music right They were chanting,
[1:04:18] Speaker 1: whoop that Trick. See the importance of good theme music.
[1:04:22] Speaker 1: Trick is a great example of that. He's one of
[1:04:24] Speaker 1: the few that they've actually gotten right now. I unfortunately
[1:04:30] Speaker 1: did not time all of this, so I don't know
[1:04:34] Speaker 1: what time all of these entrances started. But every single
[1:04:38] Speaker 1: person who came out here was, as they say, or
[1:04:42] Speaker 1: a farming taking their sweet time going from pod to pod.
[1:04:47] Speaker 1: So each time someone came out, you gotta go stare
[1:04:50] Speaker 1: at this person. You gotta go stare at that person.
[1:04:52] Speaker 1: You gotta go stare at that person. You gotta pose
[1:04:54] Speaker 1: for the crowd. You gotta climb on top of the pod.
[1:04:56] Speaker 1: You gotta cut your toenails, you gotta read a magazine,
[1:04:59] Speaker 1: you gotta make a fucking sandwich. My god, if I
[1:05:03] Speaker 1: tell you how long these entrances were, it now had
[1:05:08] Speaker 1: to go at least fifteen minutes. I didn't time it.
[1:05:11] Speaker 1: There's no way these entrances went any less than fifteen minutes.
[1:05:16] Speaker 1: And it felt like a lot longer than that. And
[1:05:20] Speaker 1: when this match was over, the entrances and I shit
[1:05:23] Speaker 1: you not, were almost as long as the match itself.
[1:05:27] Speaker 1: That should never ever happen, I mean is it is astonishing,
[1:05:36] Speaker 1: absolutely astonishing. It's no wonder they only have time for
[1:05:41] Speaker 1: four matches on these pls. When Javon Evans came out,
[1:05:48] Speaker 1: he was bouncing around for his entrance and he was
[1:05:51] Speaker 1: saying into the camera and now, I'm nervous, I'm nervous,
[1:05:55] Speaker 1: all right, this is his first elimination shame. It's the
[1:05:58] Speaker 1: biggest match of his career so far. He's gonna be
[1:06:00] Speaker 1: in there with Randy Orton, Cody Rhoades and the Great
[1:06:04] Speaker 1: Logan Paul. Right, He's gonna be in there with some
[1:06:07] Speaker 1: big names here. So he's saying, I'm nervous, I'm nervous.
[1:06:11] Speaker 1: Apparently he was not as nervous as the ring announcer was.
[1:06:15] Speaker 1: As Mark Nash announced him as not Javon Evans, but
[1:06:19] Speaker 1: he announced him as Javon Williams, just like, hey, you know,
[1:06:26] Speaker 1: shit happens. I think it was actually far worse a
[1:06:30] Speaker 1: few weeks ago on Raw when Michael Cole referred to
[1:06:33] Speaker 1: Javon Evans as Kofi Kingston. I think that was a
[1:06:37] Speaker 1: little bit worse. So Cody Rhodes was out last to
[1:06:41] Speaker 1: start the match with Javon. They went at it for
[1:06:45] Speaker 1: a little bit. Trick Williams entered next as the third man.
[1:06:49] Speaker 1: Logan Paul was in next at number four. He got
[1:06:51] Speaker 1: thrown through one of the pods by Cody and Trick
[1:06:54] Speaker 1: and he ended up threw one end and out the
[1:06:57] Speaker 1: other end of the pod. And that was the second
[1:06:59] Speaker 1: time on the show that they did a spot like that.
[1:07:02] Speaker 1: That was after the raquel spot in the first match
[1:07:04] Speaker 1: where she did the running power slam through one side
[1:07:07] Speaker 1: of the glass and out through the other. So that's
[1:07:10] Speaker 1: a new thing they're doing now. So there was a
[1:07:15] Speaker 1: point here in this match where Logan Paul hit his
[1:07:21] Speaker 1: they call it the snapshot lariot, but he did his
[1:07:24] Speaker 1: version of the buckshot lariot, and again when he vaults
[1:07:28] Speaker 1: over and he lands on his feet. He's got the
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: wobbly legs, and I don't know why he continues to
[1:07:33] Speaker 1: do it. I don't know why he continues to do it.
[1:07:36] Speaker 1: If you can't make it look as good or better
[1:07:38] Speaker 1: than the guy that you stole it from, I don't
[1:07:40] Speaker 1: know why he insists on continuing to do this move.
[1:07:44] Speaker 1: La Knight was in next. He went right after Logan Paul,
[1:07:47] Speaker 1: who he once beat to win his one lone singles
[1:07:51] Speaker 1: title here in WWE. He beat him for the US
[1:07:53] Speaker 1: title at SummerSlam a few years ago. That feels like
[1:07:55] Speaker 1: a fucking lifetime ago now, And obviously he's part of
[1:07:58] Speaker 1: the Vision. La has been dealing with the Vision going
[1:08:02] Speaker 1: back almost a fucking year now, so of course he
[1:08:06] Speaker 1: went first for Logan Paul. As soon as he came in,
[1:08:09] Speaker 1: Logan ended up on top of one of the pods.
[1:08:11] Speaker 1: Javon Evans, though, climbed up with him, as did La Knight,
[1:08:15] Speaker 1: and the two of them then launched Logan off the
[1:08:18] Speaker 1: top of the pod with a crossbody and they collided
[1:08:22] Speaker 1: with Cody Rhodes and Trick Williams in the ring down below.
[1:08:27] Speaker 1: Then Logan dropped Javon on top of the pod that
[1:08:30] Speaker 1: they were standing on with a BFT, which did not
[1:08:34] Speaker 1: look great because they didn't have a lot of room
[1:08:36] Speaker 1: to maneuver up there. And also like, how stupid of
[1:08:39] Speaker 1: La Night because of course they were both down after this,
[1:08:43] Speaker 1: because he also went down and landed on the fucking pod,
[1:08:46] Speaker 1: so he heard himself. So now they're both laying there
[1:08:49] Speaker 1: on top of the pod. As the countdown clock ticked away.
[1:08:54] Speaker 1: Randy Orton entered the match last. He was mowing everybody
[1:08:59] Speaker 1: down and the crowd was pretty damn quiet for all
[1:09:04] Speaker 1: of this, Quieter than you would think, So Randy Orton,
[1:09:08] Speaker 1: it's like Orton making a hot tag in a tag
[1:09:10] Speaker 1: team match. So he hit a double draping DDT, so
[1:09:16] Speaker 1: Logan Paul and Trick Williams. Then he struck his pose.
[1:09:19] Speaker 1: Rko is coming. La Knight though, spins him around plants
[1:09:24] Speaker 1: him with a DDT, so everybody was down except for Javon.
[1:09:30] Speaker 1: Javon was finally back up on his feet on top
[1:09:33] Speaker 1: of the pod. He stands up and off he dives
[1:09:37] Speaker 1: with a frog splash onto Trick Williams from the top
[1:09:40] Speaker 1: of the pod. Worked out a lot better for him
[1:09:43] Speaker 1: than it did for Rob Van Dam in the first
[1:09:45] Speaker 1: elimination chamber when the ceiling wasn't quite as high as
[1:09:48] Speaker 1: it is now, and of course RVD came down across
[1:09:52] Speaker 1: Triple H's larynx with his knee crushed his throat. No
[1:09:57] Speaker 1: problem here for Javon Evans. He's got a lot more
[1:10:00] Speaker 1: room up there to maneuver, and RVD did back then.
[1:10:04] Speaker 1: But then after he lands the frog splash, Logan Paul
[1:10:09] Speaker 1: grabs Javon Evans and he plants him with his pulverizer
[1:10:13] Speaker 1: finish and he pins him, and Logan Paul eliminates Javon Evans.
[1:10:18] Speaker 1: He dropped him right on his fucking neck like it
[1:10:22] Speaker 1: was a nasty landing that Javon took on that move.
[1:10:26] Speaker 1: And then the crowd just goes mild. Like Logan Paul
[1:10:30] Speaker 1: is very good at getting a heat. It's one of
[1:10:32] Speaker 1: the reasons they probably really enjoy using him is because
[1:10:34] Speaker 1: he's a heat magnet. Usually anytime he goes out there,
[1:10:38] Speaker 1: he pins Javon here, and the crowd doesn't boom. They
[1:10:40] Speaker 1: just they go mild. It's like I hit the mute
[1:10:43] Speaker 1: button by accident. They weren't making any noise. I don't
[1:10:47] Speaker 1: know if they were just stunned. I don't know if
[1:10:48] Speaker 1: they were just like groaning, like maybe a combination of both.
[1:10:52] Speaker 1: I don't know, but they didn't really react to this,
[1:10:56] Speaker 1: and so Javon Evans is the first man eliminated. And
[1:11:00] Speaker 1: I just hope you didn't get hurt on that spot.
[1:11:02] Speaker 1: Before I went live, I was checking. I didn't see
[1:11:05] Speaker 1: anything mentioned about his neck or his health or anything
[1:11:09] Speaker 1: like that, but that landing, that landing looked nasty. So
[1:11:16] Speaker 1: then unfortunately there was a bad botch where La Knight
[1:11:23] Speaker 1: went for. He does this every match, and usually he
[1:11:27] Speaker 1: hits it okay, right, He's had some flubs in the past,
[1:11:30] Speaker 1: but I feel like it's been a while since he's
[1:11:31] Speaker 1: fucked it up. But you know, he does that move
[1:11:35] Speaker 1: where he's standing and he'll do the kind of the
[1:11:39] Speaker 1: jump up onto the ropes and then do the big
[1:11:41] Speaker 1: dive off with the diving elbow. So he went and
[1:11:45] Speaker 1: he jumped up, and he slipped on the ropes and
[1:11:48] Speaker 1: he fell off the ropes. He didn't fall off the
[1:11:51] Speaker 1: ropes like the Demon did all those years ago against
[1:11:53] Speaker 1: Roman Reigns when the rope broke and he took a
[1:11:56] Speaker 1: fucking face plant on the mat and the Demon died
[1:11:58] Speaker 1: that night. It wasn't quite that bed, but he slipped
[1:12:01] Speaker 1: off the ropes and he fell back down, landed on
[1:12:04] Speaker 1: his feet. I mean you could hear the crowd, man,
[1:12:05] Speaker 1: they were like, oh, they're like groaning, and I'm sure
[1:12:09] Speaker 1: he felt like absolute fucking dog shit, like, oh my god,
[1:12:12] Speaker 1: what do I do here? So instead he just he
[1:12:15] Speaker 1: did a standing elbow. He jumped up in the air
[1:12:17] Speaker 1: and he just did a diving little elbow drop off
[1:12:19] Speaker 1: the mat here and then to make matters work like
[1:12:22] Speaker 1: that would be bad enough, right, And I'm sure he's
[1:12:23] Speaker 1: gonna beat himself up over it. There's a big spot
[1:12:26] Speaker 1: for him. And he fucked up one of his moves.
[1:12:29] Speaker 1: As if that isn't bad enough. This whole like little
[1:12:33] Speaker 1: sequence here was just horrendous for La Night because he
[1:12:37] Speaker 1: goes from that to taking a nutshot from Logan Paul,
[1:12:44] Speaker 1: who then rolls him up and pins him. La Knight
[1:12:49] Speaker 1: has been eliminated from the elimination chamber. I don't think
[1:12:54] Speaker 1: this could have gone any worse for La Knight if
[1:12:58] Speaker 1: they tried, and again, part of it was his own fault,
[1:13:03] Speaker 1: but for the botch to happen where it did, and
[1:13:07] Speaker 1: then for it to immediately segue into him taking a
[1:13:10] Speaker 1: nutshot and getting pinned. You can imagine the crowd reaction
[1:13:14] Speaker 1: to that. It was just like, what are we seeing here?
[1:13:17] Speaker 1: So this is now the second elimination for Logan Paul
[1:13:21] Speaker 1: here in this match. But I mean this again, this
[1:13:23] Speaker 1: was just absolute death for La Knight, who once again
[1:13:28] Speaker 1: is fucked over by a member of the Vision. Then,
[1:13:32] Speaker 1: now and forever, death taxes in La Knight taken an
[1:13:37] Speaker 1: l from the Vision. These things will never change. They
[1:13:41] Speaker 1: will be consistently true until the end of time. And
[1:13:45] Speaker 1: as far as what you do with La Night at WrestleMania,
[1:13:47] Speaker 1: I know there was that rumor that at one point
[1:13:49] Speaker 1: he was slotted in for a match with Brock Lesner.
[1:13:52] Speaker 1: I mean, I mean really it wasn't looking likely obviously
[1:13:58] Speaker 1: with this open challenge they just announced. But if there
[1:14:02] Speaker 1: was any chance of that before, I could just picture
[1:14:05] Speaker 1: like Brock I mean, the idea of brock Lesner sitting
[1:14:07] Speaker 1: at home watching this show is funny enough, but like
[1:14:10] Speaker 1: could picture him sitting at home watching this going about
[1:14:12] Speaker 1: working with this fucking guy. We could do we could
[1:14:16] Speaker 1: do better than this. Yeah, I don't know. I'd put
[1:14:20] Speaker 1: my hands in the air. I don't know we're going
[1:14:22] Speaker 1: into WrestleMania. I don't see a role for him on
[1:14:24] Speaker 1: the show. I really don't. So then Trick Williams. He
[1:14:30] Speaker 1: avoided a Paul Verizer, which is good because he almost
[1:14:34] Speaker 1: killed Javon Evans with it, but Cody hit him with
[1:14:38] Speaker 1: a Crossroads, and then Logan tossed Cody into the ring
[1:14:40] Speaker 1: post and he stole the pin on Trick. This was
[1:14:44] Speaker 1: Logan Paul's third elimination of this match. In case you
[1:14:48] Speaker 1: were wondering why, if the crowd wasn't already dying, they
[1:14:52] Speaker 1: died a little bit more on the inside watching this.
[1:14:54] Speaker 1: I don't think these people could believe what they were
[1:14:57] Speaker 1: doing here was just kind of bad enough as it was.
[1:15:03] Speaker 1: It was just sort of it was there, like this
[1:15:05] Speaker 1: match is kind of limping along here. I'm like, what
[1:15:07] Speaker 1: the fuck am I watching here? Everything is falling apart.
[1:15:11] Speaker 1: This is boring and there's no life to it. There's
[1:15:13] Speaker 1: no excitement. This is the main event. There's nothing else
[1:15:16] Speaker 1: after this. This is it. Where's the excitement. Well, the
[1:15:22] Speaker 1: part of the problem is you just had Logan Paul
[1:15:23] Speaker 1: eliminate three people from this match, so now he's got
[1:15:27] Speaker 1: three eliminations to his name, and I would say it
[1:15:31] Speaker 1: killed the crowd, but again they were dead already anyway.
[1:15:33] Speaker 1: So then right on cue, the door is open, trick
[1:15:37] Speaker 1: is you know, he's rolling out of the cage. He's
[1:15:39] Speaker 1: trying to get out of the cage, and here comes
[1:15:43] Speaker 1: another mask man. Now, if you saw SmackDown last night,
[1:15:48] Speaker 1: we had a mask man running in the main event,
[1:15:50] Speaker 1: and Logan pulled his mask off and I looked and
[1:15:53] Speaker 1: I said, I don't know who the fuck that is,
[1:15:56] Speaker 1: and neither did Joe Tessitor. He had no idea they used.
[1:15:59] Speaker 1: It was a dec right, we knew it. It was
[1:16:01] Speaker 1: a standard. We know it's not going to be whoever
[1:16:03] Speaker 1: the final person would end up being revealed as apparently
[1:16:07] Speaker 1: it was one of Seth Roland's students or someone who
[1:16:10] Speaker 1: trained at his academy and wrestled on aw Dark I
[1:16:15] Speaker 1: think a few years ago or whatever. Right, no one
[1:16:19] Speaker 1: of any consequence to any of these storylines. And so
[1:16:23] Speaker 1: now we have another mass man who begins to scale.
[1:16:28] Speaker 1: He doesn't run into the cage, but he is scaling
[1:16:31] Speaker 1: the chamber and so he gets pulled down by officials
[1:16:37] Speaker 1: who run out there to pull him down. And they're
[1:16:40] Speaker 1: dragging him down the aisle and Adam Pierce runs out
[1:16:46] Speaker 1: and Adam Pierce pulls the mask off the guy, and
[1:16:49] Speaker 1: as was the case on SmackDown, I'm looking at this guy.
[1:16:51] Speaker 1: He's got blonde hair. It's not me. I'm looking at
[1:16:55] Speaker 1: the guy going, I don't know who the fuck that is,
[1:16:58] Speaker 1: Like what are we doing here? So Pierce is like,
[1:17:02] Speaker 1: get him out of here? And whoever this guy is,
[1:17:04] Speaker 1: maybe another student, I don't know. They drag him away.
[1:17:08] Speaker 1: We get another masked man and I'm watching this and
[1:17:12] Speaker 1: at this point, I like, I could see where it's going,
[1:17:14] Speaker 1: but I'm like, this is so preposterous, Like this is
[1:17:17] Speaker 1: so stupid. This match is a fucking disaster. At this point,
[1:17:23] Speaker 1: to go from the La Night shit that we saw
[1:17:26] Speaker 1: Logan Paul three eliminations, another unmasked man that we don't
[1:17:30] Speaker 1: even know. Now we have another man in black and
[1:17:34] Speaker 1: this man, because the door is still wide open, this
[1:17:37] Speaker 1: man very casually he walks into the chamber. He super
[1:17:42] Speaker 1: kicks Logan in the in the midsection. So now he's
[1:17:47] Speaker 1: down and he comes off the ropes and he delivers
[1:17:50] Speaker 1: a curb stomp and I'm looking at this guy and
[1:17:54] Speaker 1: just his mannerisms and I'm like, okay, that's Seth Rollins.
[1:17:58] Speaker 1: Like what I saw that guy backdown last night and
[1:18:01] Speaker 1: the way he was moving around it what he reminded
[1:18:03] Speaker 1: me of. He reminded me of like a Mikey from
[1:18:07] Speaker 1: the Spirit Squad. I don't know, There's something about the
[1:18:09] Speaker 1: way he was like jumping up and down. I'm like,
[1:18:11] Speaker 1: that ain't Seth Rollins. But I'm watching this. I go,
[1:18:13] Speaker 1: this is Seth Rollins. And sure enough, he goes to
[1:18:18] Speaker 1: leave and he pulls the mask off and it is
[1:18:23] Speaker 1: in fact Seth Rollins. And it got a pop. We
[1:18:25] Speaker 1: actually got a pop. We got a Paul seer from
[1:18:27] Speaker 1: the fans in Chicago. And they cut to a shot
[1:18:30] Speaker 1: of Paul Hayman outside the chamber and he has to
[1:18:33] Speaker 1: sell this now. So he's selling this as a shocking awe.
[1:18:38] Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, he's saying.
[1:18:41] Speaker 1: Cody looks up at Rollins, Rollins looks back at Cody,
[1:18:45] Speaker 1: and then Rollins makes his exit through the crowd, and
[1:18:49] Speaker 1: on commentary, they're wondering, is he back, is he medically cleared?
[1:18:52] Speaker 1: You know, we don't know, and you know, tune into
[1:18:54] Speaker 1: Raw Monday night. We'll find out. Maybe we'll hear from
[1:18:56] Speaker 1: Seth Rollins. So the one thing I will say that
[1:19:00] Speaker 1: they got, maybe the only thing, frankly that they got
[1:19:04] Speaker 1: right here in this match was the final two, Cody
[1:19:07] Speaker 1: Rhodes and Randy Orton. This is what I was hoping
[1:19:10] Speaker 1: for when I did my predictions. I said it should
[1:19:12] Speaker 1: come down to Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, because that's
[1:19:15] Speaker 1: where the story is. It's not Logan Paul, it's not
[1:19:18] Speaker 1: La Knight, it's not Trick Williams. It's these two right here.
[1:19:22] Speaker 1: And like with the women's chamber, you wanted to come
[1:19:25] Speaker 1: down to two people where it's fifty to fifty. Like
[1:19:28] Speaker 1: I could see Cody winning, I could see Randy winning.
[1:19:31] Speaker 1: This is great. That's the one thing they got right
[1:19:33] Speaker 1: here up until this point here in this match. So
[1:19:38] Speaker 1: they didn't get to do a whole lot though, because
[1:19:41] Speaker 1: the door is still open and here comes Drew McIntyre.
[1:19:45] Speaker 1: I mean, it's like a revolving door of bullshit here
[1:19:47] Speaker 1: in this match. Drew McIntyre comes up the stairs and
[1:19:51] Speaker 1: he blasts Cody in the back of the head or
[1:19:54] Speaker 1: the side of the head with the WWE championship and
[1:19:58] Speaker 1: he gets into the ring Cody fights him back, but
[1:20:00] Speaker 1: you know, Drew beats him down until Randy Orton finally,
[1:20:03] Speaker 1: he was just watching all of this, but finally Randy
[1:20:06] Speaker 1: Orton comes over and he drops Drew with an RKO,
[1:20:10] Speaker 1: and Cody then delivers a Crossroads to McIntyre and Orton's
[1:20:14] Speaker 1: like cheering a mon like yeah, yeah, yeah, and he
[1:20:16] Speaker 1: gives him across Roads and as soon as Cody pops
[1:20:19] Speaker 1: back up to his feet, Randy Orton drops him with
[1:20:22] Speaker 1: an RKO as he should, and then Randy Orton covers
[1:20:27] Speaker 1: Cody Rhodes and he pins Cody Rhodes to win the
[1:20:31] Speaker 1: elimination Chamber match. Yes, open door, that's right. Falcon Star
[1:20:35] Speaker 1: said it right. We had an open door policy in
[1:20:38] Speaker 1: the elimination Chamber tonight. I'm not even again, I don't
[1:20:46] Speaker 1: even know where to start with this. I already said
[1:20:49] Speaker 1: my piece about the entrances being almost as long as
[1:20:52] Speaker 1: the match itself is what it is as elimination chamber
[1:20:56] Speaker 1: matches go. This was easily one of the if not
[1:20:59] Speaker 1: the weakest one they've ever done. It's the weakest one
[1:21:02] Speaker 1: off the top of my head, and I've seen them
[1:21:04] Speaker 1: all and I haven't been a fan of all of them.
[1:21:06] Speaker 1: Some of them I like, some of them I love.
[1:21:09] Speaker 1: Like when I think of the elimination chamber matches that
[1:21:11] Speaker 1: I really love, I think of the first one in
[1:21:14] Speaker 1: two thousand and two. I think of the one in
[1:21:16] Speaker 1: twenty seventeen when Bray Wyatt won the w W Championship.
[1:21:20] Speaker 1: I thought that was a great one, and I could
[1:21:23] Speaker 1: pick others as well, like the one where John Cena
[1:21:25] Speaker 1: took everyone finish and you got beat and like, oh,
[1:21:29] Speaker 1: we're guaranteed to have a new champion. Like there are
[1:21:32] Speaker 1: memorable elimination chamber matches, this was not one of them.
[1:21:38] Speaker 1: This was most definitely not one of them. And it
[1:21:40] Speaker 1: was over booked to all hell. We had two mass
[1:21:43] Speaker 1: men and a Drew McIntyre running just in this one match.
[1:21:51] Speaker 1: But the match itself was just devoid of any excitement
[1:21:53] Speaker 1: up until the last I'd say sixty seconds maybe ninety seconds.
[1:21:58] Speaker 1: Got twenty five minute match here, and you got about
[1:22:01] Speaker 1: ninety seconds of genuine excitement at the very end, twenty
[1:22:07] Speaker 1: five minutes, to say nothing of the twenty minutes of entrances.
[1:22:10] Speaker 1: So I want you to think about that forty five
[1:22:12] Speaker 1: minutes to get to ninety seconds at the very end,
[1:22:16] Speaker 1: it's not worth it, like that should never happen with
[1:22:21] Speaker 1: your main event, Like what are we doing here? And
[1:22:25] Speaker 1: there's just a lot of times where I'm watching these
[1:22:27] Speaker 1: shows now and I'm not trying to knock the talent,
[1:22:29] Speaker 1: but my god, like I'm watching some of these shows,
[1:22:31] Speaker 1: I don't know why. Am I the only one who
[1:22:32] Speaker 1: feels this way? And this goes for the television show
[1:22:36] Speaker 1: sometimes also where I'm watching it and it just feels like,
[1:22:39] Speaker 1: just in general, like they're going through the motions, and
[1:22:44] Speaker 1: that's what this match felt like to me. I didn't
[1:22:45] Speaker 1: feel that way with the women's chamber, but there are
[1:22:47] Speaker 1: just times where I'm watching I'm like, why is why
[1:22:49] Speaker 1: does it feel like they're just going through the motions here?
[1:22:53] Speaker 1: Like what's missing from this? But very arming watching this
[1:23:00] Speaker 1: show how quiet Chicago was, And again I'm not blaming Chicago.
[1:23:05] Speaker 1: It was very alarming. I think there's a message in
[1:23:08] Speaker 1: all this. Whether or not that message is received, I
[1:23:11] Speaker 1: don't know, but it was very noticeable. This is typically
[1:23:16] Speaker 1: a hot wrestling crowd, and hot is not a word
[1:23:19] Speaker 1: I would use to describe them tonight or this show
[1:23:21] Speaker 1: for them matter definitely not. But I will tell you
[1:23:25] Speaker 1: what I do like, because I don't want to show
[1:23:27] Speaker 1: you that I'm not a negative Nancy about everything. I
[1:23:31] Speaker 1: did like Randy Orton winning, and I like what they
[1:23:35] Speaker 1: did with the finish, and I like that this at
[1:23:37] Speaker 1: least heats up this road to WrestleMania now when it
[1:23:41] Speaker 1: comes to the WWE title situation, which is something they
[1:23:46] Speaker 1: desperately needed to do because they just didn't have that
[1:23:49] Speaker 1: one really hot story around the title heading into the show,
[1:23:53] Speaker 1: Like the World Heavyweight Championship has already been locked down,
[1:23:55] Speaker 1: we already know what that's going to be. And once
[1:23:58] Speaker 1: Roman Reigns is back and we'll see what they do
[1:23:59] Speaker 1: with it. I'm on TV this week. But like, I
[1:24:01] Speaker 1: think back to that first promo and everybody was all
[1:24:04] Speaker 1: fired up, and it was great. It was a great
[1:24:06] Speaker 1: like opening salvo for their feud. But now you've got
[1:24:09] Speaker 1: to try to replicate that on the other side, right,
[1:24:11] Speaker 1: You've got to try to replicate that on the SmackDown
[1:24:13] Speaker 1: side now, And now that we've gotten this fucking show
[1:24:16] Speaker 1: out of the way, now we can focus on WrestleMania itself,
[1:24:19] Speaker 1: and hopefully now is where things really start to heat
[1:24:24] Speaker 1: up in a big way. You've got Drew McIntyre, you've
[1:24:27] Speaker 1: got Cody Rhodes, You've got Randy Orton, You've got Jacob Fatu,
[1:24:30] Speaker 1: you've got sammy's Ain throw him in there as well.
[1:24:33] Speaker 1: All of these guys have been, you know, in the
[1:24:36] Speaker 1: same orbit. They've all been kind of interlocked now for
[1:24:40] Speaker 1: quite some time. And the question now becomes like, how
[1:24:43] Speaker 1: does this all play out? What does this look like now?
[1:24:46] Speaker 1: You know, as we head into WrestleMania when the show
[1:24:50] Speaker 1: is over. I mentioned this at the beginning, they shot
[1:24:52] Speaker 1: a big angle when the show is over. In case
[1:24:54] Speaker 1: you missed it, nick All this was not happy about
[1:24:58] Speaker 1: Drew McIntyre involving himself in the elimination chamber match. This
[1:25:01] Speaker 1: is not the first time that Drew has gone against
[1:25:05] Speaker 1: what the GM has said. He has ignored what he
[1:25:09] Speaker 1: has told him to do. And Nick aldis finally had
[1:25:12] Speaker 1: enough and he said, Okay, here's what we're gonna do
[1:25:16] Speaker 1: on SmackDown this Friday. You're going to defend your WWE
[1:25:19] Speaker 1: Championship against Cody Rhods. So we have a big title match. Now.
[1:25:25] Speaker 1: This is gonna be the second time this year, by
[1:25:27] Speaker 1: the way, second time in less than two months or
[1:25:30] Speaker 1: about two months that these two are having a world
[1:25:33] Speaker 1: title match on TV. That match is going to take
[1:25:37] Speaker 1: place on Friday, and when the show was over before
[1:25:42] Speaker 1: this even happened, I'm watching this going, okay, well, we
[1:25:46] Speaker 1: know now it's going to be a fatal four way
[1:25:47] Speaker 1: to WrestleMania because Cody Rose and Jacob Fatu have both
[1:25:52] Speaker 1: been screwed over by Drew McIntyre more than once. I mean,
[1:25:56] Speaker 1: Jacob just got screwed over last night by Drew McIntyre
[1:26:01] Speaker 1: let alone in his qualifying match a few weeks ago,
[1:26:05] Speaker 1: and Cody, we already know what happened to him. So
[1:26:08] Speaker 1: it's like, you've got seven weeks to figure out how
[1:26:10] Speaker 1: are you gonna work these two guys into that match,
[1:26:12] Speaker 1: because it's only fair that you at least give them
[1:26:15] Speaker 1: an opportunity to work their way into the title match.
[1:26:18] Speaker 1: Then I see that they're doing a title match on Friday.
[1:26:21] Speaker 1: The easiest path would be to just put the belt
[1:26:24] Speaker 1: back on Cody and do Cody and Randy and finally
[1:26:28] Speaker 1: tell that story Cody and Randy at WrestleMania. Cody beats Randy,
[1:26:35] Speaker 1: Randy snaps matches over, drops him with an RKO, maybe
[1:26:42] Speaker 1: even a punk kick for good measure. Maybe at that
[1:26:45] Speaker 1: point we find out that Randy Orton was also the
[1:26:48] Speaker 1: one or shortly thereafter, but they wait until like the
[1:26:51] Speaker 1: turn happens, and then we find out that maybe he
[1:26:53] Speaker 1: was the one who attacked fo too. Like, again, there's
[1:26:55] Speaker 1: any number of ways you could go with that. I
[1:26:58] Speaker 1: just say that because if Tody wins the belt back
[1:27:01] Speaker 1: on Friday, which I think there's a possibility that he will,
[1:27:04] Speaker 1: I don't see them taking it away from him again
[1:27:07] Speaker 1: at WrestleMania, Like, are they really going to take it
[1:27:10] Speaker 1: away from him in January, put it back on him
[1:27:13] Speaker 1: in March, take it back off of him again in April, Like,
[1:27:17] Speaker 1: I don't see them doing that. I think it's more
[1:27:20] Speaker 1: likely if they do Cody and Randy, Randy loses and
[1:27:23] Speaker 1: then Randy goes heel and then they have sort of
[1:27:26] Speaker 1: an extended feud. So you could do that, and then
[1:27:29] Speaker 1: you could just do Drew and Jacob one on one,
[1:27:33] Speaker 1: and then Sammy's a and I I mean Sammy's ain
[1:27:35] Speaker 1: and I guess maybe against Trick Williams. Otherwise, I don't
[1:27:37] Speaker 1: know what you do with Sammy's ain, But I'm not
[1:27:41] Speaker 1: convinced that they're going to do that. I mean, I
[1:27:42] Speaker 1: could see some sort of fuck finish, a bunch of
[1:27:46] Speaker 1: people get involved, and you just kind of go from
[1:27:49] Speaker 1: there and you figure out how you get to that
[1:27:51] Speaker 1: fatal four way match, you know with Drew, Cody, Jacob,
[1:27:55] Speaker 1: and Randy at Wrestle Media, those are the key players
[1:27:58] Speaker 1: if you're going to do a multi man matcheria. I
[1:28:00] Speaker 1: don't want to see five or six or seven guys
[1:28:02] Speaker 1: in there, like I'm sorry, Sammy. I don't want Sammy's
[1:28:07] Speaker 1: ain't thrown in there, like, no, four is my limit?
[1:28:12] Speaker 1: You got your four key guys, like, okay, fine, beyond that,
[1:28:16] Speaker 1: we don't need to turn this into a six pack
[1:28:19] Speaker 1: challenge or you know, something ridiculous like that. But I
[1:28:23] Speaker 1: like that it at least opens up a few different
[1:28:25] Speaker 1: avenues now that they can go SmackDown to me, now
[1:28:27] Speaker 1: all of a sudden becomes musty in a way that
[1:28:29] Speaker 1: it wasn't twenty four hours ago. Like I'll be tuned
[1:28:33] Speaker 1: into smack Down with with more interest than I usually
[1:28:36] Speaker 1: have this week. Absolutely, so we'll see, we'll see where.
[1:28:44] Speaker 1: Actually I won't be here on Friday. I just realized
[1:28:49] Speaker 1: I won't even be here on Friday. Well, I'll watch
[1:28:51] Speaker 1: it I'll watch it when I come home. I'm gonna
[1:28:53] Speaker 1: be in Chicago. I'm gonna be in the city that
[1:28:55] Speaker 1: I just got done talking about, because we got House
[1:28:59] Speaker 1: of Gloriouse of a Bitch, I forgot. I forgot all
[1:29:01] Speaker 1: about that. That's this week. Naturally they would do a
[1:29:08] Speaker 1: WWE Championship match on Friday. But anyway, once I do
[1:29:12] Speaker 1: eventually watch the show, I will be settled in to
[1:29:15] Speaker 1: see what they do on SmackDown, and we'll be watching
[1:29:19] Speaker 1: with great interest because obviously this is going to be
[1:29:21] Speaker 1: a very important show now, you know, as it pertains
[1:29:23] Speaker 1: to WrestleMania. So we'll see what direction they go. All
[1:29:29] Speaker 1: I wanted, though, was some intrigue. I wanted some intrigue
[1:29:32] Speaker 1: in this title picture on the road to WrestleMania. We
[1:29:36] Speaker 1: now have that, so let's see where things settle. But
[1:29:40] Speaker 1: this is good. This is a good thing. It feels
[1:29:43] Speaker 1: like they're trying to maybe shake things up a little bit.
[1:29:45] Speaker 1: You don't know exactly where it's gonna go. That's not
[1:29:49] Speaker 1: necessarily a bad thing. So to me, that's like the
[1:29:51] Speaker 1: one good thing that actually comes out of what I thought,
[1:29:54] Speaker 1: overall was just a very average event. You know, it
[1:29:58] Speaker 1: wasn't a It wasn't a terrible show. Oh it wasn't
[1:30:00] Speaker 1: a great show. It was very middle of the road,
[1:30:02] Speaker 1: very average. If you missed it, you didn't really miss much.
[1:30:08] Speaker 1: It was one of those nights. It was not the
[1:30:10] Speaker 1: Elimination Chamber from Toronto last year. I will tell you
[1:30:13] Speaker 1: that it definitely was not that. But at least now
[1:30:17] Speaker 1: we have some more intrigue here in the world title picture.
[1:30:19] Speaker 1: I cannot say the same though. For the rest of
[1:30:22] Speaker 1: this show. The Dan Housen thing logo went over like
[1:30:25] Speaker 1: a lead balloon. We talked about all the reasons why.
[1:30:29] Speaker 1: I don't know what people expected out of it. It's
[1:30:33] Speaker 1: a fucking crate. What were you expecting. It's a crate.
[1:30:41] Speaker 1: Thirty seven percent thumbs up for tonight's show. Yes, it
[1:30:45] Speaker 1: was safe, as most WWE shows are. They make their money.
[1:30:51] Speaker 1: They could play it very very safe. Thirty seven up.
[1:30:55] Speaker 1: Sixty three percent thumbs down with almost two thousand votes
[1:30:59] Speaker 1: in so far, that is a down score for the
[1:31:04] Speaker 1: Elimination Chamber. Not good a box like structure. Yeah, well,
[1:31:17] Speaker 1: look there's always the chamber next year. Ava says two
[1:31:23] Speaker 1: good matches, two bad matches, fifty out of one hundred.
[1:31:27] Speaker 1: What was your second bad match? I assume the main
[1:31:29] Speaker 1: event was one of them. What was your second bad match?
[1:31:34] Speaker 1: Was the AJ match? Olivia? Much Love from Bulgaria, South
[1:31:43] Speaker 1: Park or Family Guy, Family Guy. I God, there's a
[1:31:52] Speaker 1: an IG page I follow that just posts the occasional
[1:31:56] Speaker 1: random family Yeah. Family Guy has these like random cutaway segments.
[1:32:00] Speaker 1: Those are the best. They make absolutely no sense, but
[1:32:04] Speaker 1: I laugh every time. Death Side how many or how funny?
[1:32:09] Speaker 1: He says? Would it be if Stone Cold Steve Austin
[1:32:12] Speaker 1: answered brock Lesner's open challenge? I hope I didn't just
[1:32:15] Speaker 1: wish that into existence, because I would not put it
[1:32:18] Speaker 1: past WWE, and I don't want Austin to die. Steve
[1:32:25] Speaker 1: Austin is happily retired and he is not answering the
[1:32:31] Speaker 1: open challenge, so you do not have to worry about that.
[1:32:36] Speaker 1: Steve Austin may be a lot of things, but stupid
[1:32:39] Speaker 1: is not one of them. Bace Bears, please someone give
[1:32:43] Speaker 1: Ria a dumbbell. Yeah, she was doing pull ups on
[1:32:48] Speaker 1: the great inside her pod. Rhea still looks absolutely gorgeous, Okay,
[1:32:55] Speaker 1: says so. My ads consist of Disney programs and Wheatley Vodka.
[1:33:02] Speaker 1: It's weird, you know, from what I've heard. When you
[1:33:06] Speaker 1: use a VPN and you watch on Netflix internationally, it's weird.
[1:33:11] Speaker 1: You get a mix of commercials, and then you get
[1:33:13] Speaker 1: breaks where you don't get the commercials and you have that.
[1:33:17] Speaker 1: It's just kind of like that page landing page with
[1:33:20] Speaker 1: the music in the background, a little countown clock in
[1:33:22] Speaker 1: the corner. I don't know why you go back and
[1:33:25] Speaker 1: forth like you get some ads but not all the ads.
[1:33:29] Speaker 1: Dry Chicken says, I double dog dare Tony Khan to
[1:33:31] Speaker 1: invite Travis and Bad Bunny to aw Yeah, I think
[1:33:38] Speaker 1: we can leave Travis out of that. Nick says. The
[1:33:43] Speaker 1: commercials are out of fucking control. It is wild to
[1:33:46] Speaker 1: look at a pay per view from a few years
[1:33:48] Speaker 1: ago compared to what we have now. They don't even
[1:33:51] Speaker 1: do backstage interviews and segments anymore that are not ads. Yeah,
[1:33:55] Speaker 1: it sucks, It sucks, and it makes for a terrible
[1:33:58] Speaker 1: viewing experience as compared to the way you used to be.
[1:34:00] Speaker 1: But unfortunately this is how it is now under TKO,
[1:34:04] Speaker 1: and it's not going away. This week's episode is sponsored
[1:34:08] Speaker 1: by wis. You know, I'm not much of a coffee drinker.
[1:34:11] Speaker 1: I feel like I'm in the minority on this, but
[1:34:14] Speaker 1: you might be. There's probably nothing like the smell of
[1:34:16] Speaker 1: fresh coffee in the morning or the feeling of converting

[1:36:08] Speaker 1: Saint Clair, what's going on, man? He says, I know
[1:36:10] Speaker 1: it's not a recent change, but why don't they announce
[1:36:12] Speaker 1: wrestlers' weights during the intros? I wonder, I don't know.
[1:36:17] Speaker 1: I wonder if it has to do with they want
[1:36:21] Speaker 1: consistency and they're not going to do that when it
[1:36:23] Speaker 1: comes to the women. So maybe because they don't do
[1:36:26] Speaker 1: it with the women. They just don't do it with
[1:36:27] Speaker 1: the men. It stopped many years ago, and I don't
[1:36:31] Speaker 1: remember if there was a specific reason why, but that
[1:36:33] Speaker 1: would kind of make sense to me. As women's wrestling
[1:36:36] Speaker 1: really started to gain traction and pick up in WWE,
[1:36:39] Speaker 1: they just said, let's just not do that. Dry Chicken says,
[1:36:45] Speaker 1: WWE slash TKO, less is more approach is not working. No, See,
[1:36:50] Speaker 1: the problem is it is working. They're still making money.
[1:36:55] Speaker 1: If they weren't making as much money or selling as
[1:36:57] Speaker 1: many tickets, and then you could say it's not working.
[1:37:00] Speaker 1: But as long as they're still making money in selling tickets,
[1:37:02] Speaker 1: then they have no incentive to stop doing it. Saint
[1:37:10] Speaker 1: Clair says, what would be the phrase at the beginning
[1:37:13] Speaker 1: of your WWE theme, Boonster, That'd be the Great Deaf
[1:37:25] Speaker 1: Rebel intro for my theme song, Just monster and a
[1:37:29] Speaker 1: roar and then I come out to some generic, generic rock.
[1:37:37] Speaker 1: Dry Chicken says, unlike Sammy's Ain, Randy Orton did not
[1:37:42] Speaker 1: choose misery, misery, misery. You did whatever it takes to win.
[1:37:47] Speaker 1: He did. He saw an opening and he took it.
[1:37:50] Speaker 1: He didn't hesitate. Cody Rhodes hesitated against John Cen at
[1:37:54] Speaker 1: WrestleMania last year, and it cost him the championship. Men's
[1:38:04] Speaker 1: Chamber was the worst match of the night, says Chicago
[1:38:09] Speaker 1: for MBK, I agree with you one hundred WWE deserves
[1:38:17] Speaker 1: all the booze for the Dan Housen reveal. Yeah, but
[1:38:22] Speaker 1: I feel bad for Dan Housen though. Wasn't his idea.
[1:38:27] Speaker 1: I wouldn't think. Also, they should not have Cody beat
[1:38:31] Speaker 1: Drew next week. Yeah, I mean, if they don't, I'm
[1:38:36] Speaker 1: okay with that, because again, you could still set up
[1:38:40] Speaker 1: an intriguing match for WrestleMania. But if you want to
[1:38:42] Speaker 1: do Cody and Randy, I'd be okay with that too.
[1:38:45] Speaker 1: It would suck for Drew though, to get this close,
[1:38:48] Speaker 1: they actually walking into WrestleMania as the champion and then
[1:38:51] Speaker 1: have it taken away from him. Venom Catetsu. I thought
[1:39:00] Speaker 1: another new Triple H era was in the crate. It
[1:39:05] Speaker 1: might be. It might still be in there somewhere. There
[1:39:07] Speaker 1: were there were a lot of things that came out
[1:39:09] Speaker 1: of that crate. Who's to say that they didn't leave
[1:39:12] Speaker 1: some more stuff in there. I'm sure we'll be hearing
[1:39:15] Speaker 1: about the new era, the newest new era very soon,
[1:39:18] Speaker 1: probably after WrestleMania, we'll have another new era. Johnny Burnie
[1:39:23] Speaker 1: TKO have come to their senses that Drew is not
[1:39:26] Speaker 1: a WrestleMania headliner, and they will take the belt off
[1:39:29] Speaker 1: of him to do. Randy and Cody at least fought
[1:39:33] Speaker 1: too against Drew will be fun. I don't know. We'll see.
[1:39:40] Speaker 1: You're assuming there's going to be a title change. We'll
[1:39:42] Speaker 1: say powerful one. If they really want to sell WrestleMania tickets,
[1:39:46] Speaker 1: make it a six man helen A sell with Cody, Jacob,
[1:39:49] Speaker 1: Sammy and Alistair Black. Give Stone Cold a blank check here, Steve,
[1:39:57] Speaker 1: write whatever number you want. Be the referee. Triple H
[1:40:02] Speaker 1: can thank me later. We do not need a six
[1:40:06] Speaker 1: man helen a Cell at Wrestlemany. We just had two
[1:40:13] Speaker 1: elimination chamber matches. I'm okay with not having a Helen
[1:40:18] Speaker 1: a Cell match at Wrestlemany. Bork Laser eighty nine. Just
[1:40:27] Speaker 1: shut the fuck up and enjoy the products. So Lo
[1:40:29] Speaker 1: I was scrolling on X and saw somebody said that
[1:40:32] Speaker 1: to you on your Becky and Jessica Carr post LMAO.
[1:40:37] Speaker 1: Loved the show Man. Yeah, there were a lot of
[1:40:40] Speaker 1: dumb dums. That I was. Unfortunately I had the displeasure
[1:40:46] Speaker 1: of hearing from tonight. I didn't even say anything bad
[1:40:51] Speaker 1: about it. I was just making an observation and then
[1:40:54] Speaker 1: I took one look at the person. And this is
[1:40:56] Speaker 1: usually the way it works. If somebody has an irrational
[1:40:59] Speaker 1: or a response that seems very irrational, just take a
[1:41:02] Speaker 1: look at their profile, and nine times out of ten
[1:41:06] Speaker 1: that will tell you everything you need to know, especially
[1:41:09] Speaker 1: if if you could just see it right in their avatar.
[1:41:13] Speaker 1: As soon as I went on that person's page and
[1:41:15] Speaker 1: I just saw Becky Lynch, everything, Becky Lynch, and the
[1:41:18] Speaker 1: banner Becky Lynch, the pin photo Becky, I'm like, you
[1:41:21] Speaker 1: know what, I know people who are big fans who
[1:41:25] Speaker 1: don't react the way that this person did. This person
[1:41:30] Speaker 1: clearly has something going on. And I was like, Okay,
[1:41:32] Speaker 1: we're done with this. That's conversations over. There's no sense
[1:41:37] Speaker 1: in arguing with somebody like that. I mean, I get
[1:41:40] Speaker 1: being a fan, but there's a difference between being a
[1:41:42] Speaker 1: fan and being whatever the hell that was. Death Side.
[1:41:48] Speaker 1: I predict that Jacob will cost Drew the title to
[1:41:51] Speaker 1: which Drew invokes his rematch clause and Nick All This
[1:41:55] Speaker 1: also adds Jacob to the title match. I can't believe
[1:41:58] Speaker 1: my Drew Cody Randy Jacob match that I had pitched
[1:42:03] Speaker 1: could actually come true. Oh, akandemic. I think it's probably
[1:42:07] Speaker 1: the likeliest scenario at this point. Honestly, down Bad didn't
[1:42:14] Speaker 1: watch the show, but from what I saw on Twitter,
[1:42:16] Speaker 1: it was a bunch of hype moments and Aura trash yep.
[1:42:24] Speaker 1: Pretty much, Hey Oscar with a five cm punk locking
[1:42:30] Speaker 1: in a sharpshooter on pin. That shit hurt my soul. Well,
[1:42:40] Speaker 1: you had to know that he wasn't gonna submit because
[1:42:42] Speaker 1: it's pin balor right, He's not gonna submit. He's gonna
[1:42:47] Speaker 1: take a pin, which is exactly what he did. DJ says,
[1:42:52] Speaker 1: are the helicopters still circling your house? Solo Triple H
[1:42:56] Speaker 1: is looking for Royce Keys? I think, oh, I have
[1:43:00] Speaker 1: not heard them today. I have not heard that, although
[1:43:05] Speaker 1: when the stream is over last night they were still
[1:43:08] Speaker 1: flying around fucking helicopters. They were probably still I would
[1:43:13] Speaker 1: say they were still buzzing around until like two am,
[1:43:17] Speaker 1: looking for what. I have no idea. Daniel says, Wow,
[1:43:22] Speaker 1: Dan Housen was in the box. Great booking. Triple H
[1:43:28] Speaker 1: dry Chicken says the Elegance brand is better than the Vision.
[1:43:40] Speaker 1: I'm not really honestly, I'm not really terribly inspired by
[1:43:44] Speaker 1: any of these groups. You can put the the MFTs
[1:43:51] Speaker 1: in there, you can put the Wyots in there. Right now,
[1:43:53] Speaker 1: I'm trying to think, is there any group at the moment,
[1:43:57] Speaker 1: Is there any active faction in any promotion right now
[1:44:04] Speaker 1: that you would look at and say, man, I'm a
[1:44:06] Speaker 1: big fan of theirs, or that group is cool. Where
[1:44:09] Speaker 1: this is the number one faction in wrestling. I mean,
[1:44:14] Speaker 1: there's so many great there's so many great talents in
[1:44:17] Speaker 1: the Don Kallis family. But I hesitate to mention the
[1:44:20] Speaker 1: Kallous family because it's just so ridiculous that there's so
[1:44:22] Speaker 1: many fucking members there. Duves VIDs. I hate the ring announcer.
[1:44:30] Speaker 1: He sounds like he's straining to take a shit. Horrible,
[1:44:34] Speaker 1: and not everyone who comes out of a box gets
[1:44:37] Speaker 1: over fail. They proved that tonight. GMB says Women's Chamber
[1:44:47] Speaker 1: missed Bianca. She is the goat in them. She's had
[1:44:50] Speaker 1: some great chamber performances. Absolutely, let's see here the mocks
[1:44:58] Speaker 1: all that. The death Riders, Oh my god, the death Riders,
[1:45:05] Speaker 1: The conglomeration. Yet No, the rascals, Yeah, the rascals are
[1:45:08] Speaker 1: pretty good. Trel Mexican, says man. The twenty twenty six
[1:45:21] Speaker 1: Elimination Chamber makes December to December look like WrestleMania is seventeen.
[1:45:26] Speaker 1: The show will be nominated as the worst pay per
[1:45:28] Speaker 1: view of twenty twenty six without question. But Solo's review
[1:45:33] Speaker 1: will not be bad at all. No, Solo's review is
[1:45:37] Speaker 1: it's never bad. Some may be better than others, but
[1:45:41] Speaker 1: it's never bad. Thank you, brother, Alexander. With the four
[1:45:48] Speaker 1: ninety nine, Cody lost the chamber and still got a
[1:45:51] Speaker 1: shot at the title. Why have the chamber match at all?
[1:45:54] Speaker 1: I'm sick of raheem. Yes, but Cody, he didn't get
[1:45:59] Speaker 1: the title match wrestle Mania though, Right, It's all about WrestleMania.
[1:46:06] Speaker 1: See that's the difference there. Paul E twenty dollars, super chat,
[1:46:14] Speaker 1: hate chat, Solo. Keep up the good work. You're the
[1:46:17] Speaker 1: main source of awesome wrestling content. Thank you, brother. When
[1:46:21] Speaker 1: is Hog coming back to Los Angeles? The plan is
[1:46:26] Speaker 1: may I know the dates? We are not announcing it
[1:46:30] Speaker 1: just yet. I will leave that up to the powers
[1:46:32] Speaker 1: that be. Yes, there are other powers that be, but
[1:46:37] Speaker 1: we're looking in May, so stay tuned. Mister Rod, with
[1:46:41] Speaker 1: all the current injuries, does this year give you WrestleMania
[1:46:45] Speaker 1: thirty two vibes? God, I hope not, because WrestleMania thirty
[1:46:48] Speaker 1: two fucking sucked. Trust me, I was there, so I
[1:46:54] Speaker 1: sure hope not. You know, these injuries and the reshuffling
[1:46:58] Speaker 1: of the card and everything they've had to do, it
[1:47:00] Speaker 1: could end up being something that actually creates I think
[1:47:04] Speaker 1: Cody even said this the other day, and he's not
[1:47:06] Speaker 1: wrong that WrestleMania can end up being a sleeper show
[1:47:09] Speaker 1: this year. But just the idea that WrestleMania would be
[1:47:14] Speaker 1: a sleeper show, like, that's wrong, you know what I mean.
[1:47:18] Speaker 1: Like WrestleMania should never be a sleeper show. That's the problem.
[1:47:23] Speaker 1: The fact that it might be a sleeper show, that's
[1:47:25] Speaker 1: a problem. Mark Kwan, Dan Housen versus Our Truth. WrestleMania
[1:47:33] Speaker 1: pre show main events. Yeah, they don't do matches on
[1:47:35] Speaker 1: the pre show anymore, though, what do you think this
[1:47:41] Speaker 1: is zero hour? Jeremy Rose, Jacob will screw Drew out
[1:47:48] Speaker 1: of the title, Cody versus Randy Jacob against Drew and
[1:47:52] Speaker 1: separate matches at WrestleMania. Also want to see Tiffany against EO. Yeah,
[1:47:57] Speaker 1: I mean that'd be a big match with nothing on
[1:48:00] Speaker 1: the line, though, what would be the impetus for it,
[1:48:04] Speaker 1: Like why would I don't know, why would Tiffany all
[1:48:07] Speaker 1: of a sudden have an issue with EO unless the
[1:48:09] Speaker 1: idea is that Tiffany is upset that Riha beat her
[1:48:12] Speaker 1: in the chamber, Like if Tiffany's going to go heal,
[1:48:18] Speaker 1: I could see that, or maybe she attacks Ria un
[1:48:21] Speaker 1: SmackDown one week and EO comes to save Ria and
[1:48:25] Speaker 1: we end up with EO against Tiffany. That I could say,
[1:48:29] Speaker 1: but to me that really it works better if Tiffany
[1:48:31] Speaker 1: goes hel Phillips says, and I'll say, all I'll say
[1:48:40] Speaker 1: is poor Dan Housen, Yeah, I think he'll be okay.
[1:48:51] Speaker 1: Chicago for MBK, ticket prices act as a barrier for
[1:48:54] Speaker 1: hotter crowds. That's definitely part of it. I've said this before,
[1:48:58] Speaker 1: like you're your price seeing out a certain segment of
[1:49:01] Speaker 1: the audience. People are still buying tickets, But who are
[1:49:04] Speaker 1: these people? And it may well be that they just
[1:49:09] Speaker 1: they don't react the same way as other fans would
[1:49:12] Speaker 1: react at these shows. Or maybe they're not as invested
[1:49:16] Speaker 1: in the product week to week, they're not following the
[1:49:18] Speaker 1: ins and outs of the product, but it's kind of
[1:49:21] Speaker 1: the hot thing to do, and so they still they
[1:49:23] Speaker 1: buy tickets to go to these wrestling shows, like I
[1:49:26] Speaker 1: don't know, but it's been a noticeable trend, usually on TV,
[1:49:29] Speaker 1: like I've noticed that on Raw and SmackDown sometimes also,
[1:49:34] Speaker 1: But for a Chicago crowd, they claim nineteen thousand people
[1:49:39] Speaker 1: in the United Center, and it sounded like less than
[1:49:43] Speaker 1: half that. It's pretty crazy. Saint James says, let's see here.
[1:49:52] Speaker 1: Do you watch it at home with a frown? I
[1:49:54] Speaker 1: watched it at D and B with my goth Puerto
[1:49:59] Speaker 1: Rican even took a photo I paid twenty dollars for.
[1:50:06] Speaker 1: M reminds me of that woman who posted that tweet
[1:50:16] Speaker 1: earlier today. Did you see that one? The cheerleader who
[1:50:20] Speaker 1: apparently was very unhappy with the photo that she took
[1:50:23] Speaker 1: with Obafemi at the whatever. The event was some kind
[1:50:26] Speaker 1: of meet and greet, I guess in Chicago, and Oba
[1:50:31] Speaker 1: is like taking a picture with her and smiling at everything,
[1:50:34] Speaker 1: and she's like, and she tagged him in it too.
[1:50:38] Speaker 1: My first and last ever meet and greed with Oba
[1:50:42] Speaker 1: Femi because he didn't do the special pose that I
[1:50:45] Speaker 1: wanted him to do. He was refusing for me and
[1:50:49] Speaker 1: everybody else. It will be my last photo with Oba Femi. Oh,
[1:50:53] Speaker 1: I'm sure he's devastated. Get the pomp pop Yes, get
[1:51:02] Speaker 1: the pomp poms. It's okay. I'm sure she could see
[1:51:09] Speaker 1: a therapist. She'll be okay. She'll find a way, she'll
[1:51:12] Speaker 1: find a way to go on, She'll find a support group.
[1:51:17] Speaker 1: As long as she has a good support system, I
[1:51:19] Speaker 1: think she'll be okay. Z omg Ruler is wwe trying
[1:51:27] Speaker 1: to suck on purpose? They are trolling us? Alexander Jim
[1:51:39] Speaker 1: Cornett said that anyone that comes out of a box
[1:51:42] Speaker 1: is instantly over. We now have proof for the first
[1:51:45] Speaker 1: time that and I quote Maury that was a lie.
[1:51:55] Speaker 1: Jeremy says, why won't Why don't wwe have the Royal
[1:51:58] Speaker 1: Rumble winner declare who they picked during the raw after
[1:52:01] Speaker 1: the elimination chamber would make the chamber less predictable and
[1:52:05] Speaker 1: make that raw more entertaining. Isn't that where Roman did?
[1:52:11] Speaker 1: I mean they're not gonna do it with I mean
[1:52:13] Speaker 1: they might do it with one, but not the other
[1:52:15] Speaker 1: because they want to drag it out. They want to
[1:52:18] Speaker 1: drag it out, that's the whole purpose of it. They
[1:52:20] Speaker 1: want to keep people guessing. They want to, you know,
[1:52:24] Speaker 1: play it out in some sort of angle on TV.
[1:52:26] Speaker 1: Who are they gonna choose? Oh, I'm gonna show up
[1:52:29] Speaker 1: on the other show next week. I'm gonna scout the
[1:52:31] Speaker 1: other as if they don't know who the other fucking
[1:52:33] Speaker 1: champion is and they haven't been watching them on television
[1:52:35] Speaker 1: for five fucking years. I'm gonna go scout the champion, like,
[1:52:38] Speaker 1: get the fuck out of here. That's nonsense. Uh, Nick,
[1:52:45] Speaker 1: I would boot Dan Housen too if I paid what
[1:52:48] Speaker 1: people in Chicago paid and he came out and did
[1:52:50] Speaker 1: a shitty dance. Yes, but you know what those people
[1:52:53] Speaker 1: paid for, exactly what they paid for. They had to
[1:52:56] Speaker 1: know what they were going to get. I don't have
[1:53:00] Speaker 1: any sympathy for them at this point. You really, I mean,
[1:53:04] Speaker 1: you got to be pretty dumb to not know what
[1:53:06] Speaker 1: you're gonna get when you pay for these chefs, Like
[1:53:10] Speaker 1: you have a big enough sample size now to draw
[1:53:15] Speaker 1: from where you kind of know what to expect here, right,
[1:53:17] Speaker 1: You're not You're probably not gonna get anything terribly extraordinary
[1:53:21] Speaker 1: unless you get like a great match. I'm talking like
[1:53:23] Speaker 1: in terms of like a big angle or something like that.
[1:53:26] Speaker 1: Like it's pretty fucking rare. They play it very very
[1:53:30] Speaker 1: safe and very very cautious most of the time. Can't
[1:53:39] Speaker 1: really say, oh, I was expecting something else. Bender mc simpson,
[1:53:46] Speaker 1: buyer sell Alexa Bliss is a heel or a babyface spoiler.
[1:53:51] Speaker 1: Both answers are correct. Alexa Bliss as a heel a
[1:53:58] Speaker 1: wall Oba needs the Brock push and win the belt
[1:54:01] Speaker 1: at SummerSlam. It's fine with me. I think the Brock
[1:54:08] Speaker 1: push actually worked very well for Brock. Jeremy says Punk
[1:54:13] Speaker 1: just called Roman rusty rains on the post show because
[1:54:17] Speaker 1: he never wrestles Lol. Has a response to Roman, tweeting
[1:54:20] Speaker 1: how the crowd and Punk look tired. I mentioned that,
[1:54:25] Speaker 1: say I wasn't the only one to make that observation.
[1:54:27] Speaker 1: I'm not just pulling the shit out of my ass.
[1:54:34] Speaker 1: Thank you, Jeremy shapey ninety nine with the ten spot,
[1:54:38] Speaker 1: Well we got googered tonight. How does lesnar logan theory
[1:54:42] Speaker 1: versus seth La and Javon sound for WrestleMania. That sounds
[1:54:48] Speaker 1: pretty terrible as far as a Brock Lesner match goes
[1:54:51] Speaker 1: he has an open challenge out, So you mean his
[1:54:53] Speaker 1: open challenge is going to turn into a six man tag.
[1:54:58] Speaker 1: I mean, I think the other stuff, all this stuff
[1:55:00] Speaker 1: is fine. Could always plug a bron breaker in there
[1:55:04] Speaker 1: if he comes back early enough, But no Brock should
[1:55:07] Speaker 1: I have anything to do with that death side. I
[1:55:14] Speaker 1: have a song recommendation for everyone, damon En by Stallman.
[1:55:21] Speaker 1: Such a badass song, and it could easily be Gunther's
[1:55:24] Speaker 1: new theme song. And it's a lot better than most
[1:55:26] Speaker 1: of def Rebel's material. All right, well, there it is
[1:55:33] Speaker 1: d A m O n e n by Stallman s
[1:55:37] Speaker 1: t a h l m A n N. For the
[1:55:43] Speaker 1: people who end up listening to this, that's that's the song.
[1:55:51] Speaker 1: Stephen Harper, Stephen, thank you for the twenty So were
[1:55:56] Speaker 1: the dancing Danhausen girls shipped separately or were they all
[1:56:00] Speaker 1: quished together inside the one crate? I feel like this
[1:56:02] Speaker 1: is an important question that demands an answer. That is
[1:56:06] Speaker 1: actually a very good question. I would think that the
[1:56:09] Speaker 1: coffin was a portal to another dimension, that whatever dimension
[1:56:14] Speaker 1: it is that he's from, and so when the door
[1:56:17] Speaker 1: swung open, they were entering from a totally different dimension.
[1:56:24] Speaker 1: Either that or it's just like some of these terrible
[1:56:26] Speaker 1: stories you hear about where people are just trying to
[1:56:28] Speaker 1: get away from some you know, war torn country or something,
[1:56:32] Speaker 1: and they'll just all kind of squish together in some
[1:56:35] Speaker 1: sort of shipping container and sail the high seas until
[1:56:40] Speaker 1: they land somewhere. I don't know. Maybe that's what was
[1:56:42] Speaker 1: going on here with the crate. I have no idea.
[1:56:44] Speaker 1: I counted at least six different women, plus Dan Housen
[1:56:48] Speaker 1: would be seven. That's a lot of bodies Chicago for
[1:56:55] Speaker 1: MBK tired of the www you I think he meant
[1:57:01] Speaker 1: WWE gate money brags, fleecing fans bs. They've been bragging
[1:57:09] Speaker 1: about this shit for the last couple of years, and
[1:57:12] Speaker 1: every time they would do it, and they would have,
[1:57:14] Speaker 1: like the ring announcer announced it in the middle of
[1:57:16] Speaker 1: the ring and everybody would cheer. I just I just
[1:57:19] Speaker 1: sit here and laugh. Nothing funny about that. We'll be
[1:57:27] Speaker 1: hearing that at WrestleMania, Yeah, but I just laugh. It's like,
[1:57:33] Speaker 1: oh yeah, we helped you set the gate record, clapping
[1:57:38] Speaker 1: like seals Boots. Oh man, we're only first getting to
[1:57:45] Speaker 1: the first bomb, Boots, thank you for that. One hundred
[1:57:48] Speaker 1: dollars bomb. We have got or Whizzle Cody Drew Orton
[1:57:56] Speaker 1: and fought to four way elimination on Night one. Yeah.
[1:57:59] Speaker 1: I mean, if you're gonna do it, you can make
[1:58:00] Speaker 1: it an elimination match. But are they going to want
[1:58:03] Speaker 1: to do that? Yeah? They're very protective of people. They
[1:58:06] Speaker 1: don't like to put them in a situation where they
[1:58:09] Speaker 1: have to be eliminated, even though that's really what the
[1:58:11] Speaker 1: elimination chamber is. I'm just saying, though, are they going
[1:58:15] Speaker 1: to want to do something like that? I'd love to
[1:58:19] Speaker 1: see it. Holiday one ninety seven says, Hey, Solo, it's
[1:58:22] Speaker 1: pretty clear we're getting a fatal four way between Drew Orton, Cody,
[1:58:25] Speaker 1: and Fatu for the title. Who would be your choice
[1:58:28] Speaker 1: to walk out the winner of that match? It is
[1:58:32] Speaker 1: not predictable. It's not Drew and it's not Cody. So
[1:58:42] Speaker 1: for me, it would be Orton only Orton it because
[1:58:45] Speaker 1: the story is there with Cody and maybe somebody turns
[1:58:49] Speaker 1: in that situation. Maybe Orton ends up turning, But really
[1:58:53] Speaker 1: I would love for it to be Fa Tou. I'd
[1:58:55] Speaker 1: love to get some new blood in there. I think
[1:58:57] Speaker 1: Jacob would be would be a great choice. So I'm
[1:59:01] Speaker 1: kind of torn story wise Orton, but I'd love to
[1:59:04] Speaker 1: see fa two take it. You really want to shake
[1:59:09] Speaker 1: things up there, you go get a new face in there. Julian.
[1:59:15] Speaker 1: What's going on? Julian nineteen ninety nine. First Chicago show tonight.
[1:59:19] Speaker 1: Crowd felt hot in patches, but not as molten as
[1:59:22] Speaker 1: I expected. Just booked Hog in Vegas, hoping to finally
[1:59:27] Speaker 1: say hello and make up for missing you for drinks
[1:59:29] Speaker 1: and Nola at Wrestle MAINI at thirty four. That was
[1:59:33] Speaker 1: a fun mania. Actually, both New Orleans manias were very fun.
[1:59:37] Speaker 1: I was really looking forward to it being back there
[1:59:40] Speaker 1: this year. I'd be going. I mean, I guess I
[1:59:42] Speaker 1: am going to Vegas. But anyway, yes, I am planning
[1:59:47] Speaker 1: on being there. I should probably book my travel if
[1:59:49] Speaker 1: that's the case. I have not done that yet. I'm
[1:59:52] Speaker 1: a little scared too, but yes, I am looking forward
[1:59:58] Speaker 1: to it. Hopefully, h we will all be able to
[2:00:01] Speaker 1: see each other. I got a lot of people who
[2:00:03] Speaker 1: are gonna be coming out for that show. It's gonna
[2:00:06] Speaker 1: be a good time. I'll be able to get in
[2:00:10] Speaker 1: and then get out the next day so I can
[2:00:13] Speaker 1: make it back here in time. To do all of
[2:00:15] Speaker 1: the live reviews for WrestleMania that weekend, because that is
[2:00:17] Speaker 1: going to be a very busy weekend and I need
[2:00:22] Speaker 1: to be here. Julian, thank you, man I appreciate that.
[2:00:26] Speaker 1: Hopefully we will make that happen, Manu. The Vision's massed
[2:00:35] Speaker 1: attacker is Andrade. He jumps ship again. Hey, if anybody
[2:00:39] Speaker 1: could pull it off, it's Andrade. The way he's gone
[2:00:42] Speaker 1: back and forth. I don't want him in the Vision though.
[2:00:46] Speaker 1: I don't want him in the Vision. I don't want
[2:00:47] Speaker 1: him attacking the Vision. I don't want him to have
[2:00:50] Speaker 1: anything to do with the Vision. I like what he's
[2:00:52] Speaker 1: doing right now. Jeremy says, who do you think Penta face?
[2:01:01] Speaker 1: Is it WrestleMania as champion? I see champion or if
[2:01:06] Speaker 1: he loses, I think Oba is facing Brock, So La
[2:01:09] Speaker 1: Night is free. That's my thought. Yeah, all depends on
[2:01:16] Speaker 1: whether or not he wins that title on Monday Night.
[2:01:20] Speaker 1: I could see some sort of multiman Intercontinental title match
[2:01:24] Speaker 1: if he wins it. If he doesn't, I don't see
[2:01:30] Speaker 1: La Night against Penta. I don't see La Night against
[2:01:33] Speaker 1: Penta in any situation. Andrews says, terminator or terminator to
[2:01:41] Speaker 1: Judgment Day Terminator two retro KOA. Dan Housen will be
[2:01:50] Speaker 1: the new Boogeyman. A couple of matches and random cameos
[2:01:52] Speaker 1: and that's it. Well, Boogeyman has made a whole career
[2:01:55] Speaker 1: out of it. They still bring him back for special appearances.
[2:02:01] Speaker 1: I think dan Housen would probably be pretty happy with that.
[2:02:07] Speaker 1: Jeremy says, why does WWE think they can unveil dan
[2:02:11] Speaker 1: Housen like this, knowing their audience has no idea who
[2:02:13] Speaker 1: he is. They are so arrogant and dumb. I got nothing.
[2:02:23] Speaker 1: I got nothing for you. I got nothing to dispute
[2:02:24] Speaker 1: what you just said. Boots with another one hundred that
[2:02:27] Speaker 1: war bomb. Dan Housen new leader of the MFTs. Once
[2:02:31] Speaker 1: they kick Solo Socoha out, you want him in the
[2:02:33] Speaker 1: MFT vortex. Why would you do that to dan Housen?
[2:02:42] Speaker 1: You do you hate him that much? You would put
[2:02:46] Speaker 1: him with the MFTs. Maybe he'll put a curse on
[2:02:51] Speaker 1: the MFTs. Ah, you know what. The idea that I've
[2:02:54] Speaker 1: pitched before where you turn the MFTs the long term
[2:02:59] Speaker 1: plan is to turn them in to a bumbling babyface faction.
[2:03:03] Speaker 1: Because I know this could work, but maybe it all
[2:03:06] Speaker 1: begins with Dan Housen putting a curse on the MFTs.
[2:03:11] Speaker 1: And once he puts a curse on the MFTs, everything
[2:03:13] Speaker 1: starts going wrong. They lose their tag team titles. They
[2:03:15] Speaker 1: finally lose the lantern for good back to Uncle Howdie.
[2:03:19] Speaker 1: They start losing all their matches. These weird little final
[2:03:23] Speaker 1: destination type accidents start happening to them tripping over themselves.
[2:03:30] Speaker 1: Dan Housen putting a curse on them could be the
[2:03:32] Speaker 1: beginning of all that. You may be onto something there,
[2:03:36] Speaker 1: Jeremy says. Entrances were long. Imagine if Jay was there,
[2:03:39] Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god, he'd still be eating
[2:03:44] Speaker 1: in the chamber. Mikayla safe to say, La Knight is
[2:03:52] Speaker 1: cooked after tonight, cooked in charred all along the sides,
[2:04:01] Speaker 1: well done. You might say, Toya ain't. And I says,
[2:04:08] Speaker 1: I'm just waiting on the unreal episode of Who came
[2:04:10] Speaker 1: up with the Great Idea? Yeah? I have an idea?
[2:04:15] Speaker 1: Who that was? Shytown? Smart? Jesse says, I'll see you
[2:04:22] Speaker 1: on Friday here in Chicago. I'm looking forward to it.
[2:04:27] Speaker 1: Takla Jesse, it's Tecla. Tecla won't be on the show,
[2:04:30] Speaker 1: but we got. We got a lot of other people
[2:04:33] Speaker 1: who are going to be on the show. It's gonna
[2:04:34] Speaker 1: be good. William Lopez. I had to have a toothpole
[2:04:40] Speaker 1: that the dentist the other day. I would rather go
[2:04:42] Speaker 1: through that again than ever rewatch the show. Well. I
[2:04:48] Speaker 1: would also imagine that having the toothpole didn't take nearly
[2:04:51] Speaker 1: as long as the show did. Actually, I would wager
[2:04:53] Speaker 1: a bet that having your toothpole didn't take as long
[2:04:55] Speaker 1: as the entrances for the main event took. Retro says
[2:05:02] Speaker 1: my bike broke down three times this weekend. It was
[2:05:05] Speaker 1: a Honda Vision. Visions are truly cursed right now. I'm
[2:05:09] Speaker 1: sorry to hear that. Michael Michael bs Hayes. I like that.
[2:05:21] Speaker 1: I like that name better Michael bs Hayes. Funky Weapons
[2:05:28] Speaker 1: says fucking Dan Hausen. Really no, I have never fucked
[2:05:34] Speaker 1: Dan Hausen before, but thank you for the super chat
[2:05:39] Speaker 1: we got. B Just B says, what the fuck is
[2:05:43] Speaker 1: a Dan Hausen? It's kind of complicated. I don't really
[2:05:50] Speaker 1: know how to explain it to you. Bender mc simpson,
[2:05:54] Speaker 1: You're not alone. Twenty minute entrances are great for Twitter clips,
[2:05:58] Speaker 1: but they ruin the match and the fans they catered
[2:06:01] Speaker 1: to don't care about the match. Oh that was very
[2:06:03] Speaker 1: evident watching this show tonight. They didn't really give a
[2:06:08] Speaker 1: single solitary shit about that match until the last two minutes.
[2:06:14] Speaker 1: Bass Beer says Dan Housen attacked FA two like the
[2:06:17] Speaker 1: rock Tooth Fairy. He does collect teeth and jars. That
[2:06:27] Speaker 1: is true, Javeli, this is mark twenty two years ago.
[2:06:36] Speaker 1: WWE did an original album? Did you buy it? I heard?
[2:06:40] Speaker 1: I heard it and favorite song? My favorite is we Lie,
[2:06:44] Speaker 1: Cheat and Steal, Eddie and Chavo. They did an original album.
[2:06:51] Speaker 1: Which album was that? They've released a lot of albums.
[2:06:55] Speaker 1: If it was one of their like WWE the Music
[2:06:59] Speaker 1: Volume one, then yeah, I heard it, but I don't
[2:07:02] Speaker 1: have the I don't have the track. You should have
[2:07:04] Speaker 1: included some of the tracks for me. I can't give
[2:07:09] Speaker 1: you an answer because I don't I don't have all
[2:07:10] Speaker 1: the songs listed in front of me. But yeah, I
[2:07:12] Speaker 1: would have definitely listened to it. Uh. Super Pony says
[2:07:16] Speaker 1: I love Drew. Holy shit, his title reign has been awful,
[2:07:20] Speaker 1: worst one since I can't even remember. Also, La Night
[2:07:24] Speaker 1: has done mid Card for Life. Yeah, this was not
[2:07:27] Speaker 1: a good Night for La Night. This was not a
[2:07:31] Speaker 1: good night for La Night. Funky Weapon. Top three favorite
[2:07:39] Speaker 1: themes currently on the roster? Hmmm, what are my top
[2:07:50] Speaker 1: three favorite themes? I think Cody might be one of them, honestly,
[2:07:55] Speaker 1: I like Cody's theme. Yeah, I like OBUs theme. Uh.
[2:08:06] Speaker 1: What are my top favorite themes? Mmmm? Man, I don't know.
[2:08:17] Speaker 1: There aren't a lot of great ones unfortunately. Trick Williams. Yeah,
[2:08:22] Speaker 1: I like Trick Williams. I'll put Tricks on there. Uh,
[2:08:28] Speaker 1: Anti m Bishop. The WWE title needs an Armageddon Helen,
[2:08:32] Speaker 1: a cell match of media. Hell. Throw Nick Aldos in there.
[2:08:37] Speaker 1: Great Stream, Yeah, let's just throw everybody in there. Let's
[2:08:39] Speaker 1: throw Dan Housen in there too. I think Dan Housen
[2:08:43] Speaker 1: should be in there. Put Ilia Dragonov in there. Kit Wilson, Oh,
[2:08:54] Speaker 1: you're talking about the music still. Oh yeah, now we're
[2:08:57] Speaker 1: not putting We're not putting Kit Wilson's music on the
[2:08:59] Speaker 1: list of top three themes in ww What are you?
[2:09:01] Speaker 1: What do your mind? You've got to be trolling me.
[2:09:08] Speaker 1: Kit Wilson, Abistle Zones, Knight, and Balor both slipped on
[2:09:17] Speaker 1: the same spot. Actually it was the same corner. You're right,
[2:09:21] Speaker 1: it was that it was that far right corner Holiday
[2:09:28] Speaker 1: one ninety seven. I'm thinking that they should put the
[2:09:31] Speaker 1: WWE title women's title on Rhea Ripley a WrestleMania. It'll
[2:09:37] Speaker 1: shake up the women's scene on SmackDown. If Jade retains,
[2:09:40] Speaker 1: they'll keep it on her until Bianca is ready to return.
[2:09:44] Speaker 1: That's what I am thinking that they will do if
[2:09:48] Speaker 1: they have some sense that Bianca might be back not
[2:09:50] Speaker 1: long after Mania. I don't know. She's still really early
[2:09:56] Speaker 1: in her rehab, so I don't know. I don't know
[2:09:59] Speaker 1: where things stand with her. Rudy, thank you for the
[2:10:03] Speaker 1: dollar ninety nine and then a four ninety nine. What
[2:10:06] Speaker 1: if Cody gets screwed on Friday again? How many times
[2:10:11] Speaker 1: is this man gonna be screwed? My god? I hope
[2:10:16] Speaker 1: he uses lube. What if Cody gets screwed on Friday
[2:10:21] Speaker 1: which leads to a Drew versus Cody four Stages of
[2:10:25] Speaker 1: Hell match at rest? I feel like I'm in the
[2:10:28] Speaker 1: seventh circle of Hell at this point. Super Pony off topic,
[2:10:34] Speaker 1: but the two k ratings are an absolute joke. Nicky
[2:10:37] Speaker 1: Bella has a higher rating than Kevin Owens and aj Style.
[2:10:41] Speaker 1: Is that true? Does Nicky Bella have a higher rating
[2:10:46] Speaker 1: than AJ Styles. Like that that's enough reason right there,
[2:10:52] Speaker 1: just to boycott the entire game. Colin says, the dan
[2:11:01] Speaker 1: Housen debut felt like something from a WCW pay per
[2:11:05] Speaker 1: view in nineteen ninety four. It felt like you go
[2:11:10] Speaker 1: back even earlier than that. It felt like the debut
[2:11:12] Speaker 1: of Oz the Great Oz. Remember Kevin Nash is OZ
[2:11:16] Speaker 1: in WCW. Dan Housen is in eighty nine in two
[2:11:24] Speaker 1: K twenty six. How is NICKI Bella rated higher than
[2:11:28] Speaker 1: I would love to know the justification for that? Like
[2:11:32] Speaker 1: Kevin Owens, can I can? I don't know me he
[2:11:35] Speaker 1: missed most of the year. I guess I could kind
[2:11:37] Speaker 1: of even even that's ridiculous, But like AJ Styles, how
[2:11:41] Speaker 1: do you figure that? Like, I don't understand that. This
[2:11:43] Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense? How do they calculate these ratings?
[2:11:49] Speaker 1: San Juan Wolf based on how dull tonight was, I
[2:11:52] Speaker 1: have low expectations for WrestleMania if things are not looking great,
[2:11:55] Speaker 1: but that is to be expected at this point. I mean, look,
[2:12:00] Speaker 1: you try to look for a silver lining where you can,
[2:12:02] Speaker 1: but I mean this WrestleMania build so far and we
[2:12:05] Speaker 1: still got seven weeks, but it has not been great.
[2:12:11] Speaker 1: It has not been great at all. Retro Koh, the
[2:12:15] Speaker 1: Death Riders are somehow the best group in wrestling today
[2:12:18] Speaker 1: in terms of booking and relevance. What a horrific timeline
[2:12:22] Speaker 1: we are in. It's pretty horrific. Bobby means, could you
[2:12:28] Speaker 1: see Keana James vying for that women's US title? She's
[2:12:31] Speaker 1: come a long way and the crowd is getting behind her. Yeah,
[2:12:34] Speaker 1: I could see her. I think again, that title is
[2:12:36] Speaker 1: tailor made for someone like her, so at some point
[2:12:41] Speaker 1: in the not too distant future. I mean I wouldn't
[2:12:43] Speaker 1: put it on her immediately, but yes, yes, I think
[2:12:47] Speaker 1: that she will likely be wearing gold at some point
[2:12:52] Speaker 1: by the summertime. I would say buyer before the summer.
[2:12:58] Speaker 1: Prince Begeta says Michael Cole is very unbearable. The way
[2:13:03] Speaker 1: he was verbally creaming his pants about Rains and Punk
[2:13:05] Speaker 1: being the biggest thing ever. I had to put the
[2:13:08] Speaker 1: TV on mute. Well, that's his job. His job is
[2:13:15] Speaker 1: to sell the match because it's the only solid fucking
[2:13:18] Speaker 1: match they even have on that card right now, so
[2:13:21] Speaker 1: he has to go all out and act like it's
[2:13:24] Speaker 1: the greatest thing ever. That's seven more weeks of that.
[2:13:28] Speaker 1: By the way, Death Side says, HBK lost his smile
[2:13:35] Speaker 1: and ended up with a real injury. Seth Rollins faked
[2:13:38] Speaker 1: an injury and ended up with a real injury. Morale, morale, moral,
[2:13:45] Speaker 1: moral of the story. Don't fake an injury? Are you
[2:13:51] Speaker 1: implying that Sean Michaels did not have a bum knee
[2:13:54] Speaker 1: back in nineteen ninety seven, as Brett Hard has suggested,
[2:13:59] Speaker 1: is that what I'm hearing suggest? Ryan Hood, Hey, Angie,
[2:14:06] Speaker 1: welcome to the channel. Look at all the great stuff
[2:14:10] Speaker 1: that you've missed. Ryan says, Any chance Vince McMahon is
[2:14:14] Speaker 1: secretly involved in creative? Is there a chance? Well, yes,
[2:14:19] Speaker 1: apparently his avatar is still there, as Ronda Rousey called
[2:14:24] Speaker 1: him once. As long as Bruce is working in creative,
[2:14:26] Speaker 1: then Vince will always have a pipeline. I mean he
[2:14:29] Speaker 1: has one with Triple H, but he will always have
[2:14:32] Speaker 1: a pipeline to WWE creative if he wants to poke
[2:14:36] Speaker 1: his head. So I can't sit here and tell you
[2:14:39] Speaker 1: that there's no chance, because there absolutely is a chance.
[2:14:42] Speaker 1: Do I think he's actively involved in creative? No? I don't.
[2:14:48] Speaker 1: Death's Side Hopefully, if we get Obafemi answering brock Lesner's
[2:14:51] Speaker 1: open challenger Wrestlemani of forty two. I hope it is
[2:14:55] Speaker 1: a lot like the match that Brock had with Goldberg
[2:14:58] Speaker 1: and wrestle Mani at thirty three, A short action pack sprint,
[2:15:03] Speaker 1: but with Oba going over What are your thoughts? I
[2:15:06] Speaker 1: think that would be great. I think that's exactly the
[2:15:08] Speaker 1: way that I would book it. Oba goes over Mystic
[2:15:16] Speaker 1: Jay with Ria facing Jade. Where does this leave EO?
[2:15:20] Speaker 1: Maybe a feud with Oscar over Kyrie and just for
[2:15:24] Speaker 1: the hell of it, throwing the US title with Julia Well,
[2:15:27] Speaker 1: I mean, if it's not Tiffany and uh, I think
[2:15:31] Speaker 1: it was somebody asked about Tiffany or what was it
[2:15:33] Speaker 1: to Tiffany Ideo, Tiffany Anddeo. You know what, you could
[2:15:37] Speaker 1: definitely make a story out of Tiffany IDEO, But I
[2:15:39] Speaker 1: just feel like it works better if Tiffany went heel,
[2:15:44] Speaker 1: you know, because she's just very upset that Rhea beat
[2:15:47] Speaker 1: her in the elimination chamber and goes after Rhea. Then
[2:15:52] Speaker 1: EO has a reason to go after Tiffany and then boom,
[2:15:54] Speaker 1: get your match made. Maybe forty one. Congrats to aj
[2:16:01] Speaker 1: Seth Rollins for a husband of the year. Seth Rollins
[2:16:08] Speaker 1: for a husband of the year. Why what did he do?
[2:16:14] Speaker 1: His wife lost tonight? He was in the building. He
[2:16:17] Speaker 1: didn't even help his wife. How does that make him
[2:16:21] Speaker 1: a husband of the year, Jeremy Rose. Imagine how Trick
[2:16:27] Speaker 1: felt being in that pod watching all those entrances. They
[2:16:31] Speaker 1: definitely let Randy enter the pod last because he was
[2:16:34] Speaker 1: like fuck that death Site says, if Drew loses on SmackDown,
[2:16:40] Speaker 1: then he's about to go through his own and then
[2:16:44] Speaker 1: the message cuts off his own What Ryan Hood says,
[2:16:49] Speaker 1: Rikishi attack Jay. He did it for the rock and
[2:16:57] Speaker 1: that would be one hell of a story, wouldn't not.
[2:17:03] Speaker 1: We have a death sithe five stages of grief first
[2:17:09] Speaker 1: stage anger, second stage anger, third stage anger, fourth stage
[2:17:16] Speaker 1: uncontrollable seething rage, fifth stage repeat stages one through four,
[2:17:23] Speaker 1: Around and around it goes, and now you leave My
[2:17:29] Speaker 1: friend JD Alone SMG Gobi Fat two versus Sammy is
[2:17:36] Speaker 1: the play at Mania. I think sadly Fat two and Sammy, Yeah,
[2:17:43] Speaker 1: I mean, I guess they kind of planted a potential
[2:17:45] Speaker 1: seed for that on SmackDown last night. I don't know, man,
[2:17:50] Speaker 1: that match. It depends on the story. Right now, I'm
[2:17:57] Speaker 1: not feeling that I want I want Fat two in there.
[2:18:01] Speaker 1: Mario Tremayne Willingham. My birthday is February twenty ninth, So today,
[2:18:07] Speaker 1: March first, is my official birth Yeah. That is weird,
[2:18:09] Speaker 1: isn't it? Like if you were born on a leap year,
[2:18:13] Speaker 1: you're kind of fucked right, Like this year there is
[2:18:18] Speaker 1: no February twenty ninth, so technically you have no birthday
[2:18:23] Speaker 1: this year. It's like you were never born. It's kind
[2:18:27] Speaker 1: of weird. But anyway, he says, so today is my
[2:18:32] Speaker 1: official birthday. I love your streams. Keep doing what you
[2:18:36] Speaker 1: do well, even though it's technically natural birthday. I will
[2:18:39] Speaker 1: wish you a very happy birthday. That's actually it's that's
[2:18:42] Speaker 1: actually kind of cool that you were born on a
[2:18:45] Speaker 1: day of the year that doesn't even exist every single year.
[2:18:51] Speaker 1: Happy birthday, brother, SMG Kobe Sammy is who they will
[2:18:56] Speaker 1: pin attacking Jacob on earlier? What about Jay? Did he
[2:19:02] Speaker 1: attack J two? Is that the play here? DJ Blind
[2:19:10] Speaker 1: Dan Hausen is s Fenguli if you know, you know
[2:19:17] Speaker 1: and SMG Kobe Drew can either face all this or well.
[2:19:24] Speaker 1: And if you're gonna do that. You can't do Becky
[2:19:26] Speaker 1: Lynch then against Jessica Carr. Now we're getting a little
[2:19:29] Speaker 1: ridiculous here. You're gonna have Becky Lynch against a referee
[2:19:31] Speaker 1: and then Drew against the general manager. But he says,
[2:19:35] Speaker 1: Drew can either face all this or Randy and Cody
[2:19:38] Speaker 1: in a three way. I still think you include Fat
[2:19:43] Speaker 1: two in there in a four way, but I guess
[2:19:45] Speaker 1: you could always do Fat two in Sammy's ay, maybe
[2:19:47] Speaker 1: that is the match. Maybe that is the match for Sammy.
[2:19:56] Speaker 1: I don't know, man. They got seven weeks to figure
[2:19:58] Speaker 1: this shit out, and we got a title match on Friday.
[2:20:02] Speaker 1: Let's see what happens with the title match. That will
[2:20:05] Speaker 1: definitely answer some questions here, Super Pony more awful ratings.
[2:20:12] Speaker 1: Angle is in eighty seven. Uncle Howdie is in eighty eight.
[2:20:19] Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. Mikey says, did you see Scream seven? Thoughts
[2:20:26] Speaker 1: if you did? I have not seen it. I have
[2:20:28] Speaker 1: not seen it. We were talking a little bit about
[2:20:30] Speaker 1: it last night because I know it's gotten some not
[2:20:32] Speaker 1: so not so great reviews, but no, I have not
[2:20:37] Speaker 1: seen it yet. I'm sure I will at some point.
[2:20:40] Speaker 1: I was actually thinking about going to the theater to
[2:20:42] Speaker 1: see it, but now I've been scared off, so I
[2:20:47] Speaker 1: just as expensive as it is these days to go
[2:20:50] Speaker 1: to the movies, I would much rather put that money
[2:20:52] Speaker 1: towards Street Fighter, Masters of the Universe, and the other
[2:21:00] Speaker 1: was it two or three movies I think that are
[2:21:01] Speaker 1: coming out this year street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Toy Story,
[2:21:09] Speaker 1: and Masters of the Universe, and then wait for Scream
[2:21:14] Speaker 1: to hit streaming. I think that might be the play
[2:21:20] Speaker 1: bad reviews, but big box. So yeah, well, I said,
[2:21:23] Speaker 1: I think it did forty million domestically in its first weekend.
[2:21:26] Speaker 1: So no matter what you think about Scream seven, clearly
[2:21:29] Speaker 1: there's going to be Scream eight as long as those
[2:21:33] Speaker 1: things make money. Oh god Zella, Yes, that's right, that's right.
[2:21:37] Speaker 1: Somebody did mention Godzilla minus zero and then they joked,
[2:21:41] Speaker 1: they said, wrestle Mania is here is a wrestle Mania
[2:21:43] Speaker 1: minus zero. I said, you know what you're bang on
[2:21:47] Speaker 1: with that? You got wrestle MAINI it's not WrestleMania forty
[2:21:49] Speaker 1: two this year, it's WrestleMania minus zero. Kind of feels
[2:21:54] Speaker 1: that way, Coyote versus Acme. That's not coming out though,
[2:22:00] Speaker 1: is it. Yeah? When is that coming out? That movie
[2:22:04] Speaker 1: wasn't even supposed to see the light of day and
[2:22:07] Speaker 1: then it got saved. But I wasn't aware there was
[2:22:11] Speaker 1: an actual release date attached to it. But if it's
[2:22:17] Speaker 1: coming out this year, yeah, I'll definitely see that. Death
[2:22:21] Speaker 1: site says buy or sell Randy Savage's long term Mega
[2:22:24] Speaker 1: Power storyline with Hogan or his short term feud with Jake.
[2:22:30] Speaker 1: The Megapower storyline with Hogan. But the storyline with Jake
[2:22:34] Speaker 1: is one of my all time favorites. Also, It just
[2:22:37] Speaker 1: it didn't have the box office or the longevity that
[2:22:42] Speaker 1: the Mega Powers one did, so I can't rank it
[2:22:45] Speaker 1: above that one. But those are those right there are
[2:22:48] Speaker 1: the ones that you just named. Those are two of
[2:22:49] Speaker 1: my all time favorites. Not a shock that match was
[2:22:54] Speaker 1: in both of them. He was great, all right? Well,
[2:22:59] Speaker 1: the let me bring up the wheel. What was the
[2:23:01] Speaker 1: goal of for twenty? Oh my god, I think we
[2:23:04] Speaker 1: crushed that nine to sixteen. We might actually, I don't know.
[2:23:11] Speaker 1: It's gonna be up to you guys, but we might
[2:23:12] Speaker 1: actually be able to hit a thousand before we get
[2:23:14] Speaker 1: out of here. It's gonna be close. We still have
[2:23:19] Speaker 1: eighty five more to go, but it is possible. But
[2:23:25] Speaker 1: let's go ahead and be the booker, shall we. Ladies
[2:23:28] Speaker 1: and gentlemen, It is now time to be the booker.
[2:23:34] Speaker 1: You know, I don't remember now if Dan Housen is
[2:23:36] Speaker 1: to be the booker. If he's not, I may have
[2:23:37] Speaker 1: to add him in here. Now. We may have to
[2:23:40] Speaker 1: get Dan Housen in here, all right, coyote versus actme.
[2:23:43] Speaker 1: August twenty eighth. How about that? I did not know that. Okay,
[2:23:49] Speaker 1: it be a busy year for me at the movies.
[2:23:53] Speaker 1: I haven't seen this many if I see all of
[2:23:55] Speaker 1: these movies, I don't think I've been to the movies
[2:23:58] Speaker 1: to see that many movies in a single years since
[2:24:04] Speaker 1: maybe I was in high school. Maybe and I already
[2:24:08] Speaker 1: went to go see that other movie in four D
[2:24:12] Speaker 1: X send Help, that Sam Raimi movie Send Help. That
[2:24:18] Speaker 1: was the first one I saw this year. Hey, Mega,
[2:24:23] Speaker 1: mister Joker just became a sound off superstar. Thank you. Yes.
[2:24:28] Speaker 1: Channel memberships are always open and welcome, and you get
[2:24:32] Speaker 1: access to all the emojis in the live chat and
[2:24:34] Speaker 1: the comments. You can gift memberships to people as well
[2:24:38] Speaker 1: helps the channel, and they're randomly assigned always puts a
[2:24:43] Speaker 1: smile on someone's face, including mine. All Right, here we go.
[2:24:47] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know what puts a smile on my face?
[2:24:49] Speaker 1: These two guys. You know, so far this year we
[2:24:53] Speaker 1: have Stephanie McMahon and we have aj Styles in the
[2:24:57] Speaker 1: WWE Hall of Fame, and with any luck, these two
[2:25:00] Speaker 1: will end up on that same list. Acts and Smash.
[2:25:05] Speaker 1: Demolition always a good way to kick off Be the Booker.
[2:25:10] Speaker 1: Demolition against the Creeds, Julius and Brutus. I'm gonna give
[2:25:21] Speaker 1: it a bell even though the Creeds have done absolutely
[2:25:26] Speaker 1: fuck all this year. Demolition and the Creeds closest we'll
[2:25:35] Speaker 1: ever get, I guess to demolition Steiner Brothers type match.
[2:25:42] Speaker 1: All right, Women's be the Booker. I made some changes today.
[2:25:45] Speaker 1: Today was update day for Women's Be the book I
[2:25:47] Speaker 1: did Men's the other day and the tag teams, and
[2:25:50] Speaker 1: we made some updates to Women's Be the Booker. So
[2:25:54] Speaker 1: let's see what we land on here. We're going to
[2:25:56] Speaker 1: land on Oh my god, we just landed on her yesterday,
[2:26:01] Speaker 1: Mighty Molly. Did we have Mighty Molly in the intergender round?
[2:26:08] Speaker 1: I forgot what her match was yesterday? Yeah, we hit
[2:26:11] Speaker 1: the super chat the bonus call yesterday, so we did
[2:26:14] Speaker 1: an intergender round. That was the goal tonight too, but
[2:26:16] Speaker 1: I don't think we're gonna make it. But we just
[2:26:19] Speaker 1: landed on her yesterday and she just popped up again.
[2:26:24] Speaker 1: Let's give this one a drum roll. Mighty Molly against
[2:26:35] Speaker 1: Mickey James. I think that makes a fine professional wrestling match.
[2:26:46] Speaker 1: Those two ladies can go oh yes, yes, yes, yes,
[2:26:52] Speaker 1: yes yes. It was Molly and Penta in the intergender
[2:26:56] Speaker 1: match yesterday. I definitely gave that the bell. All right,
[2:27:03] Speaker 1: our main event of the night, Let's see what we're
[2:27:04] Speaker 1: gonna end up with here. We end up with your
[2:27:07] Speaker 1: Bounty boy. There he is. He was in the main
[2:27:09] Speaker 1: event tonight in the elimination chamber, and he is in
[2:27:12] Speaker 1: the main event of Be the Booker. Just added Javon
[2:27:16] Speaker 1: Evans making his Be the Booker debut. Your boy is bouncy.
[2:27:25] Speaker 1: That's Javon Evans, by the way, not Javon Williams. I
[2:27:39] Speaker 1: just that's always my reaction when we land on this photo.
[2:27:42] Speaker 1: I just I just what is this? You know what?
[2:27:50] Speaker 1: I got it? I have to do it. I have to,
[2:27:54] Speaker 1: I have to. I would like to see this match.
[2:27:57] Speaker 1: The Painmaker, the painmaker. Chris Jericho taking on Javan. I
[2:28:10] Speaker 1: don't know why. Oh man, can you imagine if this,
[2:28:16] Speaker 1: if this popped out of the crate tonight, this version
[2:28:21] Speaker 1: of his sweet swallow. Look at him and he's looking
[2:28:23] Speaker 1: at his physic He's looking at the biceps. Here. If
[2:28:26] Speaker 1: this version of Jericho popped out of the crate tonight,
[2:28:33] Speaker 1: Oh well, hey, we gotta look at that. We gotta
[2:28:38] Speaker 1: clean sweep, we gotta clean sweep. He's definitely making some
[2:28:43] Speaker 1: pain in that pain. Oh it's one of my favorite
[2:28:54] Speaker 1: options that we occasionally land on there and be the booker.
[2:29:00] Speaker 1: I wish I could remember what match that was from.
[2:29:03] Speaker 1: Obviously that was New Japan. I just I don't remember
[2:29:06] Speaker 1: who he was wrestling. Arabian Night, says WWE crowds. The
[2:29:13] Speaker 1: last two months sound comatos three thousand for aw Are
[2:29:18] Speaker 1: Louder Revolution will be twice as loud as the elimination Chamber.
[2:29:22] Speaker 1: Great in ring matters to fans, not entrance, entrances and
[2:29:26] Speaker 1: ads well two, it's two very distinctly different audiences, that
[2:29:34] Speaker 1: much is for sure. Tanahashi Okata, he wrestled Night Tel once.
[2:29:43] Speaker 1: I don't know it could be from any of those
[2:29:44] Speaker 1: matches he was the painmaker, and a few different matches
[2:29:48] Speaker 1: there said that wrestling with cholesterol may's the great solo.
[2:29:59] Speaker 1: You should really raised to be the booker goals because
[2:30:03] Speaker 1: with how great you are and how many people watch
[2:30:05] Speaker 1: these streams, these likes are too paltry. Four hundred is
[2:30:08] Speaker 1: not well, it's it's the wheel. I mean, look, take
[2:30:10] Speaker 1: a look at the wheel here. If you zoom in
[2:30:15] Speaker 1: on that there, we I actually updated some of the
[2:30:19] Speaker 1: values on the wheel and try and made them a
[2:30:21] Speaker 1: little bit bigger. You know, you want to have one
[2:30:24] Speaker 1: or two smaller ones on there. But I think now
[2:30:26] Speaker 1: we have six hundred likes, there might be seven hundred
[2:30:29] Speaker 1: on there. It's up to the wheel. It's like MJF
[2:30:34] Speaker 1: the other night on Dynamite leaving everything to chance with
[2:30:36] Speaker 1: his coin. It's up to the wheel. Maybe I'll make
[2:30:42] Speaker 1: the values on there even bigger. We'll see, Broley says.
[2:30:47] Speaker 1: The Jobber and Meme. The Jobber and Meme debuted on
[2:30:51] Speaker 1: pl in Front of nineteen thousand, while Mariah and Ricky
[2:30:55] Speaker 1: debuted in the PC. Whose idiotic idea was it to
[2:30:59] Speaker 1: debut him on pay per view? That would be Paul
[2:31:03] Speaker 1: of ec It's what we do what they do. Brother
[2:31:12] Speaker 1: death Side says, also, what would you say is the
[2:31:15] Speaker 1: best one night only storyline? Mine is No Mercy for
[2:31:18] Speaker 1: Triple h at No Mercy two thousand and seven, a
[2:31:23] Speaker 1: one night only storyline, j Uso being taken out of
[2:31:32] Speaker 1: the elimination chamber this year, it's my favorite storyline, No
[2:31:38] Speaker 1: Yeat and Navy forty one eighty one. Who should induct
[2:31:43] Speaker 1: Demolition and AJ Styles? John Cena should induct AJ Styles?
[2:31:50] Speaker 1: As far as Demolition, I don't know. I mean New
[2:31:55] Speaker 1: Day beat Demolition's record right is the long no, But
[2:31:58] Speaker 1: then USO's beat, Hm, I don't know. I would just say,
[2:32:05] Speaker 1: probably find like a modern current Day tag team to
[2:32:09] Speaker 1: do it, because there's really nobody in WWE. I don't
[2:32:13] Speaker 1: think that really has any sort of direct connection to
[2:32:15] Speaker 1: either one of these guys at this point. So I
[2:32:20] Speaker 1: would just say pick a tag team, and then it
[2:32:22] Speaker 1: just comes down to, I don't know, do you go
[2:32:26] Speaker 1: with the do USO's do you go with the New Day?
[2:32:31] Speaker 1: Probably just a tag team. I don't think there's anybody
[2:32:37] Speaker 1: you know in particular, at least that's currently working for
[2:32:40] Speaker 1: the company. As far as somebody outside the company, I
[2:32:43] Speaker 1: don't know, maybe they would want to recommend like a
[2:32:46] Speaker 1: friend of theirs and the business. Maybe the powers of
[2:32:48] Speaker 1: pain Barbarian and Warlord are still around and Bader Mohammad
[2:32:56] Speaker 1: ten dollars super chat. He says, Hello, I watched that
[2:32:59] Speaker 1: infamous segment of the cobra biting Randy Savage. That scene
[2:33:02] Speaker 1: of the kids in the crowd legitimately crying and the
[2:33:05] Speaker 1: cobra posing in the ring when Jake was unbelievable. It
[2:33:11] Speaker 1: like it's creepy as hell, like the way that Jake
[2:33:14] Speaker 1: is crouched in the corner and then the snake is
[2:33:17] Speaker 1: in the ring, and the way the snake is just
[2:33:19] Speaker 1: it's sitting there but like it's poking its head up
[2:33:22] Speaker 1: and it's like watching all the mayhem outside, like you
[2:33:25] Speaker 1: would almost think it was like an animatronic snake, like
[2:33:28] Speaker 1: it wasn't. But like that shot of the snake is
[2:33:32] Speaker 1: just like the money shot, Like that's just unbelievable. It's
[2:33:37] Speaker 1: uh an angle I saw when I was very young,
[2:33:41] Speaker 1: and it sticks me. I wasn't super duper young, but
[2:33:44] Speaker 1: like I was young enough to where it had an
[2:33:46] Speaker 1: impact on me too, And to this day, I mean
[2:33:49] Speaker 1: I remember it clear as day, like how can you
[2:33:51] Speaker 1: forget very well done? Super Pony says a triple Ah
[2:34:00] Speaker 1: NXT to perfection. What happened TKO? Wow, Triple h And
[2:34:05] Speaker 1: was it Ryan Ward or Ryan Ward, Ryan Ward, Ryan Katz,
[2:34:10] Speaker 1: Ryan Katz? Someone was helping Triple h Oul. Let's not
[2:34:14] Speaker 1: give him all the credit, but yes, NXT back then,
[2:34:18] Speaker 1: much smaller roster, not on television the way it is now,
[2:34:23] Speaker 1: not live on television. No, TKO to answer to his
[2:34:30] Speaker 1: priorities were very different then than they are now. Let's
[2:34:34] Speaker 1: just put it that way. This is not the same
[2:34:39] Speaker 1: person in death Site says I thought yours would have
[2:34:44] Speaker 1: been King of the Ring ninety three. Yeah, but that
[2:34:48] Speaker 1: was a one night pay per view. I don't look
[2:34:49] Speaker 1: at that as a one night storyline though, I was
[2:34:52] Speaker 1: thinking of actual storylines. That was the kickoff to a
[2:34:57] Speaker 1: long term feud between Brett Hart and Jerry Lawler that
[2:34:59] Speaker 1: w on literally for years. But I mean, if you
[2:35:03] Speaker 1: want to count that, then sure that would be my
[2:35:05] Speaker 1: number one. That's my favorite pay per view of all time.
[2:35:08] Speaker 1: So if you want to count that, then absolutely also
[2:35:16] Speaker 1: the best Brett Hart Kurt Henning match also on that show. Yeah,
[2:35:22] Speaker 1: mister Fuji was already inducted into the Hall of Fame.
[2:35:25] Speaker 1: I don't remember what year, but he's already in anyway,
[2:35:30] Speaker 1: Thank you guys for the incredible stream tonight and all
[2:35:33] Speaker 1: the great support. You guys killed it. We came very
[2:35:38] Speaker 1: close to a thousand likes during the live stream. We
[2:35:41] Speaker 1: usually don't have an issue getting there after the fact,
[2:35:45] Speaker 1: but we almost got there here on the live stream,
[2:35:48] Speaker 1: which is great, and I think we broke down the
[2:35:50] Speaker 1: elimination chamber as best we could. I'll have some more
[2:35:53] Speaker 1: thoughts on it, sleep on it. We'll see if there's
[2:35:55] Speaker 1: any other news that comes out coming out of the show.
[2:35:58] Speaker 1: I'm sure I will talk about it on the sound
[2:35:59] Speaker 1: Off in the morning. We'll talk all of the elimination
[2:36:03] Speaker 1: chamber fallout, what's coming up on SmackDown this week, and
[2:36:06] Speaker 1: a bunch of other news and notes, a bunch of
[2:36:09] Speaker 1: mailbag questions. Is gonna be a big podcast tomorrow. That's
[2:36:12] Speaker 1: gonna be episode nine fifty three of the SoundOff, So
[2:36:17] Speaker 1: you will not want to miss that show. So I
[2:36:21] Speaker 1: hope you will join me for that hy two J
[2:36:26] Speaker 1: beating Triple H for the belt, only for the decision
[2:36:28] Speaker 1: to be reversed. That was a great one too. It's
[2:36:31] Speaker 1: actually one of my favorite raw moments of all time. Man,
[2:36:35] Speaker 1: you talk about a hot crowd. Man, You know, you
[2:36:39] Speaker 1: guys are naming like all of these different moments, and
[2:36:44] Speaker 1: I'm just thinking of like the crowds compared to the
[2:36:47] Speaker 1: crowds that we have had recently in WWE, and what
[2:36:50] Speaker 1: a fucking difference. Holy shit, what the hell happened? Hey,
[2:36:58] Speaker 1: James Channel, remember for fifty six months? Thank you, brother,
[2:37:04] Speaker 1: I might be doing well. See listen to Falcon Star.
[2:37:08] Speaker 1: Falcon Star says solo. Moster sounds off as a must listen.
[2:37:11] Speaker 1: See this guy. He knows game and he knows ball.
[2:37:15] Speaker 1: Thank you, Falcon Star. Do you record the podcast in
[2:37:20] Speaker 1: the mornings? I record as early as I can. Sometimes
[2:37:23] Speaker 1: I'm still not done putting notes together. Is breaking news
[2:37:26] Speaker 1: even on Sundays? Of course, what usually happens is I'll
[2:37:30] Speaker 1: do an entire show and then get the show out,
[2:37:33] Speaker 1: and then Sunday night they'll be breaking news. Hopefully tomorrow
[2:37:37] Speaker 1: will not be one of those days. But yeah, I
[2:37:41] Speaker 1: don't like doing them piecemeal unless I'm going to be away.
[2:37:44] Speaker 1: I have to leave, not going to be around. Yeah, No,
[2:37:50] Speaker 1: I wake up in the morning, I have breakfast, I
[2:37:52] Speaker 1: get my shit together and as early as I possibly can,
[2:37:54] Speaker 1: and sometimes it might not be until eleven am or twelve,
[2:37:57] Speaker 1: but record and I get going on the podcast and
[2:38:03] Speaker 1: try to get it out as soon as I can,
[2:38:05] Speaker 1: usually midafternoon. So just keep your eyes peeled. Do you
[2:38:10] Speaker 1: guys know the drill speaker Spotify, Apple Podcasts. Of course,
[2:38:17] Speaker 1: don't forget the Uncrowned Wrestling show that's every Tuesday on
[2:38:21] Speaker 1: the Arial Helwani feed. We'll have fun with that this
[2:38:24] Speaker 1: week as well. All right, So I think that's everything.
[2:38:27] Speaker 1: I think I got everybody. Thank you again, be well,
[2:38:30] Speaker 1: stay safe, have yourselves a great rest of your night.
[2:38:33] Speaker 1: I got another show to do here in a few hours,
[2:38:36] Speaker 1: and I will see you tomorrow for nine to fifty
[2:38:38] Speaker 1: three and then back here live on YouTube Monday night
[2:38:42] Speaker 1: all the fallout from the Elimination Chamber on Monday Night Raw.
[2:38:45] Speaker 1: Until then, take care, guys,
