In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, the lone woman on Tennessee’s death row was still alive on Wednesday night after she was administered two lethal injections, according to her lawyer. Convicted Tennessee killer Christa Pike's legal team said in a motion seeking to halt her execution Wednesday night that the attempted execution did not kill her. At 8:26 p.m. local time, witnesses said the executioners had "injected both syringes of lethal injection chemicals and Pike is still alive and snoring," her lawyers said in a federal court filing, according to The Associated Press. Pike, 50, was 18 in 1995 when she, her boyfriend and another person beat, kicked and stabbed their 19-year-old classmate Colleen Slemmer to death in a brutal "satanic" attack that Pike claimed took between 30 minutes and an hour, according to court documents. Also Benjamin Netanyahu praises heroic bystander in bloody cockpit attack for preventing ‘another 9/11. The Israeli PM says the wounded pilot is 'fighting for his life' after the suspected hijacking attempt.
