In this episode I'm joined by Phil Costa to look back on Wednesday's 3-2 win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Stamford Bridge. We chat about the early goal which silenced some noisy home fans, and a relatively even first half, before Viktor Gyokeres got a much needed goal to make it 2-0. We discuss the goal we conceded before making it 3-1, and the chances we missed to go further ahead before they got another goal back. We analyse some individual performances, like Martin Zubimendi and William Saliba, and look at this is as a positive result which could have been even better, but which leaves us with some work to do in the second leg. All that, and lots more. Get extra bonus content and help support Arseblog by becoming an Arseblog Member on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arseblog Hosted on Acast.
