[0:04] Speaker 1: Hey, this is Stephen Fernick.
[0:06] Speaker 2: I'm the pastor of Elevation Church and this is our podcast.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Be sure to subscribe so we can get you these
[0:11] Speaker 2: new sermons every week.
[0:13] Speaker 1: I hope you're blessed today. I just want to take
[0:21] Speaker 1: a moment before we jump into the word.
[0:22] Speaker 3: Anybody excited to get into the scripture today? We're going
[0:26] Speaker 3: to open up God's word. But two things I want
[0:30] Speaker 3: to pray for. Anybody that needs a miracle today. Anybody
[0:33] Speaker 3: that needs healing today. Anybody that needs finances. You know
[0:38] Speaker 3: the Bible says our Lord God, nothing is too difficult
[0:42] Speaker 3: for you. If you've got a prodigal today, I know
[0:45] Speaker 3: the God that can wake them up with kindness. If
[0:48] Speaker 3: you've got a situation, I know the God that can
[0:50] Speaker 3: remove that mountain and put it into the sea. Come on,
[0:54] Speaker 3: anybody believe today that God is who he says he is.
[0:59] Speaker 1: Anybody we have faith that he could do what he
[1:01] Speaker 1: said he would do. Come on, clap.
[1:03] Speaker 4: Let's have done some faith and thanksgiving today.
[1:08] Speaker 1: Do me a favor. If you need a miracle, just
[1:10] Speaker 1: lit your hand. Lord. We thank you for your grace,
[1:14] Speaker 1: We thank you for your power.
[1:15] Speaker 3: We trust not in riches or mammon or chariots or horsemen.
[1:20] Speaker 1: But our trust is in the name of the Lord.
[1:23] Speaker 1: We thank you God that you are who you.
[1:26] Speaker 3: Say you are and you can accomplish what concerns us.
[1:29] Speaker 1: Today.
[1:30] Speaker 3: We cast all of our cares onto you because we
[1:33] Speaker 3: know you care for us.
[1:34] Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
[1:36] Speaker 3: And everybody said together, come on, clap one more time
[1:39] Speaker 3: and thank God. Come on elevation twenty years, twenty years.
[1:51] Speaker 3: And I just want to say, thank God for Elevation Church.
[1:56] Speaker 3: Thank God for all that He's done in this place.
[1:59] Speaker 3: Thank God for all that He's done through this place.
[2:02] Speaker 3: And the Bible says not to us, not to us
[2:06] Speaker 3: be the glory, but to his name. Can we give
[2:08] Speaker 3: God some glory for twenty years.
[2:11] Speaker 4: Of his faithfulness? Come on, anybody believe the vest is
[2:14] Speaker 4: yet to come for Elevation Church. And I just want
[2:19] Speaker 4: to say, thank God, not.
[2:21] Speaker 3: Just for Elevation Church, but anybody love your pastors today.
[2:25] Speaker 1: Pastor Stephen at Holly Fernick, come on, oh, come on,
[2:28] Speaker 1: you can clap louder than that today if you love
[2:30] Speaker 1: your fine goodness.
[2:34] Speaker 3: We thank God for pastors Stephen to Hally, Thank God
[2:37] Speaker 3: for their faithfulness, for their continual.
[2:40] Speaker 1: Yes. Anybody could say yes for.
[2:43] Speaker 3: One year or maybe ten, but twenty years of faithfulness, serving, giving, preaching, writing.
[2:53] Speaker 1: Oh, come on this, give honor where honor is due
[2:55] Speaker 1: to our pastors today. Thank God for pastors Stephen and Holley.
[3:00] Speaker 1: And you know they've just been out on tour. They've
[3:04] Speaker 1: been out on tour.
[3:05] Speaker 3: They're sewing into Chicago, sewing into New York. I believe
[3:10] Speaker 3: they were in Columbus, Ohio, sewing in. You know, I've
[3:13] Speaker 3: always believed that when you sow into somebody else's field,
[3:16] Speaker 3: you're going to reap it.
[3:16] Speaker 1: In your own.
[3:18] Speaker 3: And I pray that we would be a church that
[3:21] Speaker 3: covers them in prayer. Amen, Why don't we take a
[3:23] Speaker 3: moment and pray for our pastors right now? Lord, We
[3:26] Speaker 3: thank you for our leaders, our pastors that you've given
[3:29] Speaker 3: to us.
[3:30] Speaker 1: What a gift to have pastors like them.
[3:34] Speaker 3: We pray that their soul would be refreshed, their soul
[3:37] Speaker 3: would be encouraged. Thank you God for protection over their home,
[3:42] Speaker 3: over their children.
[3:43] Speaker 1: We thank you that you're speaking to them, giving them.
[3:45] Speaker 3: Vision, dreams, allow signs and wonders and miracles to continue
[3:50] Speaker 3: to break out through their ministry. We think you that
[3:53] Speaker 3: they would feel rested in their soul, and we just
[3:56] Speaker 3: bless them today. We thank you God for the gifts
[3:58] Speaker 3: of our pastors in Jesus name.
[4:01] Speaker 1: And everybody said, come on one more time, clapping, thank God.
[4:04] Speaker 1: Do me a favorite before you sit down. Turn it
[4:07] Speaker 1: against somebody a high five. Tell them you woke up
[4:10] Speaker 1: on time today.
[4:11] Speaker 5: You woke up on time today.
[4:14] Speaker 3: You woke up you ain't late. You woke up on
[4:16] Speaker 3: time today. Go to the Book of Numbers, chapter twenty one.
[4:20] Speaker 1: If you have a Bible number is twenty one. Again.
[4:23] Speaker 1: My name is Chad. I live in La. I'm blessed.
[4:27] Speaker 3: Any married people here in the house today sounds painful.
[4:33] Speaker 3: Any happily married people in the house today?
[4:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, yuh.
[4:38] Speaker 3: My wife and I have been married for seventeen years.
[4:40] Speaker 3: We got four children. Any parents here today?
[4:44] Speaker 1: Parents?
[4:44] Speaker 3: I got a fourteen year old, a twelve year old,
[4:47] Speaker 3: a ten year old, and an eight year old.
[4:50] Speaker 1: We're like a rock group. We put one out every two.
[4:52] Speaker 3: Years and fourteen, twelve, ten, eight. And my eight year
[4:58] Speaker 3: old is not saved. Please pray for my saving hey
[5:01] Speaker 3: year old. He needs Jesus right now. But we're blessed.
[5:04] Speaker 3: In California, We're blessed in La and I'm just so
[5:08] Speaker 3: honored and thrilled to.
[5:09] Speaker 1: Be here today. Can we clap? This was his first
[5:13] Speaker 1: time being up without his mom and dad.
[5:15] Speaker 3: Didn't Cram do a great job, my guy right there clapping,
[5:18] Speaker 3: Thank God for my God.
[5:19] Speaker 5: I love you so much.
[5:21] Speaker 1: I love you so much. Number twenty one, go there
[5:25] Speaker 1: in your Bible. We're gonna go to the Old Testament today.
[5:28] Speaker 1: It says this.
[5:29] Speaker 3: Then they journeyed from Mount Horror by the way of
[5:33] Speaker 3: the Red Sea to go around the land of Eel,
[5:39] Speaker 3: and the soul of the people became very discouraged on
[5:43] Speaker 3: the way, and the people spoke against God and against Moses.
[5:49] Speaker 3: Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to
[5:53] Speaker 3: die in the wilderness, for there's no food and no water.
[5:58] Speaker 3: And are soul lows? This worthless bread? I just have
[6:02] Speaker 3: to believe. That's gluten free bread right there, first, gluten
[6:06] Speaker 3: free bread, and all of the Bible right there is
[6:08] Speaker 3: worthless bread.
[6:09] Speaker 1: Amen. I want to say, I'm pro gluten. Amen.
[6:15] Speaker 3: So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and
[6:18] Speaker 3: they bit the people, and many of the people of
[6:20] Speaker 3: Israel died, And therefore the people came to Moses and said,
[6:24] Speaker 3: we have we've done messed up. We send for we
[6:28] Speaker 3: have spoken against the Lord and against you. Prayed to
[6:32] Speaker 3: the Lord that he may take away the fiery serpents
[6:35] Speaker 3: from us.
[6:36] Speaker 1: So Moses prayed for the people.
[6:38] Speaker 3: And the Lord said to Moses, make a fiery serpent,
[6:42] Speaker 3: set it on a pole, and it shall be that
[6:46] Speaker 3: everyone who is bitten when he looks at it shall live.
[6:50] Speaker 3: So Moses made a bronze serpent, put it on a pole,
[6:54] Speaker 3: and so it was. If a serpent had bitten anybody,
[6:58] Speaker 3: when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
[7:02] Speaker 1: I want to preach a message today. Right down the title.
[7:05] Speaker 1: It's called on my Way Back, On my Way Back, and.
[7:10] Speaker 3: I just want to tell you today, I don't know
[7:12] Speaker 3: how far you drifted away from God.
[7:14] Speaker 1: It's never too late to come back to Jesus.
[7:18] Speaker 3: I don't know how far you feel like you are
[7:20] Speaker 3: a way from the will of God for your life.
[7:22] Speaker 3: But anybody thankful that it's never too late with God.
[7:25] Speaker 3: You're never too far gone from God if you believe
[7:28] Speaker 3: that we serve the God that welcomes.
[7:31] Speaker 1: You home with open arms. On my way Back, I.
[7:36] Speaker 3: Just like this idea because you know, I feel like
[7:39] Speaker 3: every Monday morning I start my diet again.
[7:44] Speaker 1: Who am I preaching to you right now?
[7:47] Speaker 3: Every Sunday night, I'm like, you know, tomorrow morning, I'm
[7:50] Speaker 3: getting this body back in shape. Every Monday morning, I'm like,
[7:54] Speaker 3: you know what, maybe tomorrow morning we are going to
[7:56] Speaker 3: start working out a few mondays ago of alls in
[8:00] Speaker 3: that Monday flow and we do Orange Theory Fitness. We
[8:04] Speaker 3: like to go to this place called Orange Theory Fitness.
[8:07] Speaker 3: It's diabolical by nature, makes you sweat and work out.
[8:11] Speaker 1: But I was like, babe, tomorrow morning, we're gonna go back.
[8:14] Speaker 1: And so when I walked in, I signed up on
[8:16] Speaker 1: the app.
[8:17] Speaker 3: When I walked into the gym, there was a guy
[8:19] Speaker 3: standing there and he had made me like a sign
[8:23] Speaker 3: Chad's four hundredth workout, And I was like, what a
[8:27] Speaker 3: welcome back sign.
[8:28] Speaker 1: This is amazing.
[8:30] Speaker 3: I had no idea that I was nearing my four
[8:32] Speaker 3: hundredth workout.
[8:34] Speaker 1: So I walked in. I kind of laughed because I was.
[8:36] Speaker 3: With my wife and I was thinking to my head,
[8:38] Speaker 3: if this is my four hundredth workout, this have to
[8:41] Speaker 3: be her one thousandth workout. In fact, she had just
[8:45] Speaker 3: about to cross two days later her seventh hundredth workout.
[8:49] Speaker 3: Come on clap from my wife Julia. She's putting in
[8:52] Speaker 3: the work. But I just liked that idea that I
[8:56] Speaker 3: had no idea. I was coming back into the gym.
[8:59] Speaker 3: I my nikes on, I was ready to go, and
[9:02] Speaker 3: I walk in and here is this sign. It said
[9:05] Speaker 3: four hundred workout, But I really felt it was saying like,
[9:08] Speaker 3: welcome back, lazy man of God. Welcome back slacker. See
[9:16] Speaker 3: what I want you to understand today about God. It
[9:18] Speaker 3: doesn't matter how far away you are from God. God
[9:22] Speaker 3: always loves to welcome his children home.
[9:25] Speaker 1: See.
[9:26] Speaker 3: God never turns away anybody that comes to him when
[9:30] Speaker 3: you come to him desperate, when you come to him
[9:33] Speaker 3: with humility, when you come to him hungry. God always
[9:36] Speaker 3: opens his arm for any prodigal that would come back home.
[9:40] Speaker 3: Come on clap today if you're thankful for the grace
[9:42] Speaker 3: of God. God never turns away those that come to
[9:46] Speaker 3: him empty. He only turns away those that come to
[9:50] Speaker 3: him full of themselves. And today we come with desperation. Oh.
[9:55] Speaker 1: I love this.
[9:56] Speaker 3: Story in number twenty one because really it's a story
[9:59] Speaker 3: about a route back to God. Did you catch what
[10:02] Speaker 3: happened In numbers twenty one, verse number four, it says
[10:05] Speaker 3: that they were on the way to eat them, but
[10:08] Speaker 3: the Lord took them around the long way, and it
[10:12] Speaker 3: said on the way they became impatience. Have you ever
[10:16] Speaker 3: felt like God was taken longer than he should?
[10:21] Speaker 1: Have you ever felt like God's.
[10:22] Speaker 3: Timetable is different than your timetable. I want to remind
[10:26] Speaker 3: you today that our God is never too early and
[10:29] Speaker 3: he's never too late. Our God is a what on
[10:33] Speaker 3: time God? Oh, come on, give him a praise today.
[10:36] Speaker 3: If you believe that about God, I'm going to give
[10:38] Speaker 3: you four things to write down today. Write down number one.
[10:41] Speaker 3: The first thing God deals with me as I come
[10:43] Speaker 3: back is he deals with my faith in God's timing.
[10:48] Speaker 3: He deals with my trust in the timing of the Lord.
[10:51] Speaker 1: See. I love this about God.
[10:53] Speaker 3: God said, my ways are above your ways, My thoughts
[10:56] Speaker 3: are above your thoughts. A day is like a thousand
[10:59] Speaker 3: year years to the Lord, and a thousand years is
[11:02] Speaker 3: like a day. God knows the end from the beginning.
[11:06] Speaker 3: He is the Alpha and the Omega. We believe that
[11:08] Speaker 3: God is sovereign and seated on the throne, and God
[11:12] Speaker 3: knows just what you need, and he knows just when
[11:15] Speaker 3: you need it. Anybody thankful today that God will supply
[11:18] Speaker 3: all of your needs according to his riches and according
[11:21] Speaker 3: to his glory.
[11:23] Speaker 1: Oh I love Isaiah forty put on the screen. Have
[11:26] Speaker 1: you not known? Have you not heard?
[11:28] Speaker 3: The Everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends
[11:32] Speaker 3: of the earth. He neither faints nor is weary. His
[11:35] Speaker 3: understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. That's
[11:39] Speaker 3: cowboy fans. I'm prophilying to somebody right now. And to
[11:48] Speaker 3: those who have no might, he increases their strength. Even
[11:51] Speaker 3: youths like Graham shall faint and be weary, and the
[11:55] Speaker 3: young men shall utterly fall. But those that wait on
[11:59] Speaker 3: the Lord, they shall renew their strength. They shall mount
[12:03] Speaker 3: up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not
[12:06] Speaker 3: grow weary. They shall walk and not what faint. That's
[12:11] Speaker 3: what God does. That's why I love that Elevation worship song.
[12:15] Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait on you. Man.
[12:18] Speaker 3: If I could sing like Pastor Stephen, I sing the
[12:20] Speaker 3: whole song right now, But I'm gonna wait on you.
[12:23] Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait on you.
[12:25] Speaker 3: See what happened is there on this journey and they're
[12:27] Speaker 3: on the way to eat him, and the Lord took
[12:29] Speaker 3: them around the long way. See what I love about
[12:32] Speaker 3: God is that God sometimes knows that you're not ready
[12:36] Speaker 3: for what you think you're ready for, and sometimes God
[12:38] Speaker 3: loves you enough to not shortcut your blessing. Sometimes God
[12:42] Speaker 3: will take you around the long way, and it's on
[12:44] Speaker 3: the long way that something's being developed in you, something
[12:48] Speaker 3: is being put inside of you that's lacking.
[12:50] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm thankful that I didn't get what.
[12:52] Speaker 3: I thought I deserved when I thought I deserved it.
[12:55] Speaker 3: I'm grateful that God took me on the path and
[12:58] Speaker 3: the journey that I needed for my life. Anybody else, Oh,
[13:02] Speaker 3: look at what Lamentations, chapter three, verse twenty five says.
[13:05] Speaker 1: It says.
[13:05] Speaker 3: It says the Lord is good to those who wait
[13:09] Speaker 3: for him, to the soul who seeks him. The Lord
[13:13] Speaker 3: is good to those who wait for him. I'm just
[13:16] Speaker 3: telling you nothing reveals more about what you believe about
[13:21] Speaker 3: God than the way that you wait. I live in
[13:28] Speaker 3: La We are masters of waiting on the freeway. I
[13:34] Speaker 3: learn how to wait on the four or five, but
[13:38] Speaker 3: I've learned with God.
[13:39] Speaker 1: I gotta wait on the Lord.
[13:41] Speaker 3: I gotta wait on God's strength and I've learned not
[13:44] Speaker 3: to wait like this.
[13:52] Speaker 1: I've learned to wait like this. God is faithful, God is.
[13:56] Speaker 3: Generous, God is compassionate, God is God is sovereign, God
[14:02] Speaker 3: is loving. Oh, come on clap today if you believe
[14:04] Speaker 3: that God is worthy of your weight. One of my
[14:11] Speaker 3: wife's best friend, she is a widow, and she went
[14:15] Speaker 3: through a tragic situation years ago, and we after this situation,
[14:21] Speaker 3: the Lord started to heal her heart and do a
[14:23] Speaker 3: great work in her life, and we started together to
[14:26] Speaker 3: believe God for a husband. We started to pray and
[14:29] Speaker 3: believe that God would send her somebody, and so together
[14:32] Speaker 3: as a church and our community, we started to pray
[14:35] Speaker 3: and believe that God would send her somebody. And a
[14:38] Speaker 3: couple of years ago, during our fast we do twenty
[14:41] Speaker 3: one days of prayer and fasting in the month of January.
[14:43] Speaker 3: She was faster than praying, and on the last day
[14:46] Speaker 3: of the fast, a friend of hers connected her with
[14:49] Speaker 3: a guy.
[14:50] Speaker 1: She got a five minute.
[14:51] Speaker 3: Coffee, because you don't want to get stuck in a coffee.
[14:54] Speaker 1: Because it could go bad.
[14:56] Speaker 3: So she told this guy, I could stop by the
[14:58] Speaker 3: coffee shop, pick up the coffee you order, and then
[15:00] Speaker 3: I gotta go, ladies. I'm just telling you that's how
[15:03] Speaker 3: you do it. Right there for the first one, just
[15:05] Speaker 3: to breeze through. Are you okay, okay, then we'll be back.
[15:12] Speaker 3: I'm just trying to give some knowledge to somebody today.
[15:17] Speaker 1: And so she met this guy in the last day
[15:18] Speaker 1: of the.
[15:19] Speaker 3: Fast, and sure enough, he ended up being a man
[15:24] Speaker 3: of God.
[15:25] Speaker 1: He had good hygiene and a tiler. That's a candidate
[15:29] Speaker 1: right there, amen.
[15:33] Speaker 3: And long story short, they end up getting married and
[15:38] Speaker 3: she's in her forties and that's so cool. But can
[15:41] Speaker 3: I tell you, not only does she get married, but
[15:43] Speaker 3: this last year she got pregnant.
[15:47] Speaker 1: And I'm just telling you.
[15:48] Speaker 3: It's one of the greatest miracles I've ever seen. You know,
[15:52] Speaker 3: sometimes we think that miracles are these crazy healings, but
[15:57] Speaker 3: sometimes it's like to find somebody to get married to, to
[16:01] Speaker 3: get pregnant when you've been believing God. And one of
[16:04] Speaker 3: the things that stands out to me about this lady's
[16:06] Speaker 3: story is that she could have just taken matters into
[16:09] Speaker 3: her own hands and married somebody years ago, but she
[16:13] Speaker 3: waited on the timing of the Lord. She waited on
[16:16] Speaker 3: the perfect person. And I just want to encourage you
[16:19] Speaker 3: today God is worthy of your weight. He's got the
[16:22] Speaker 3: best in store for his children. And if you'll just
[16:25] Speaker 3: keep holding out for God's best, if you'll just keep
[16:28] Speaker 3: waiting along the journey, I promise you God's got something
[16:32] Speaker 3: better for you than you could ever ask, think or imagine.
[16:35] Speaker 3: Anybody believe that God is good and greatly to be praised.
[16:39] Speaker 1: Oh, I love what it says here. The Lord is
[16:42] Speaker 1: good to those who wait for him, to the soul
[16:46] Speaker 1: who seeks him. So they're waiting on God.
[16:49] Speaker 3: They're like God, this has taken too long, This journey
[16:52] Speaker 3: has taken so much time. Why can't we get to
[16:55] Speaker 3: eat them faster? But Babe, open up the ways app.
[16:58] Speaker 3: There's got to be a faster way to get there.
[17:00] Speaker 1: Now.
[17:00] Speaker 3: I got the Apple Map, the Google app, and the
[17:02] Speaker 3: ways app. I'm trying to get to eat them. I
[17:04] Speaker 3: gotta get to eat them. And it says that as
[17:06] Speaker 3: they're on the way and it's taking longer than they want,
[17:09] Speaker 3: that the soul of the people get discouraged.
[17:13] Speaker 1: Write down number two.
[17:13] Speaker 3: Today, God deals with my discouragement. I don't know if
[17:17] Speaker 3: you've ever felt discouraged, but when you feel like man,
[17:21] Speaker 3: it's not going as good as I wanted it to go.
[17:23] Speaker 3: Life's not happening at the space, at the pace or
[17:26] Speaker 3: the rate that I wanted it to happen. Oh, I'm
[17:29] Speaker 3: just so thankful today that in times that I've felt down,
[17:33] Speaker 3: times that I felt discouraged, the Bible says, Thou, Old Lord,
[17:36] Speaker 3: are the lifter of my head. Anybody thankful today that
[17:40] Speaker 3: God will turn your mourning into dancing? Come on, the
[17:43] Speaker 3: Bible says those that so in tears will read with
[17:46] Speaker 3: songs of joy. Come on, clap if you believe that
[17:49] Speaker 3: God will turn your mourning around into danccene. Oh I
[17:54] Speaker 3: love Psalm three, verse three. It says, but you, oh Lord,
[17:58] Speaker 3: are a shield.
[17:59] Speaker 1: For me my glory, and the one who lifts up
[18:03] Speaker 1: my head. Proverbs seventeen twenty two.
[18:08] Speaker 3: Mary Hart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit
[18:12] Speaker 3: dries up the bones. This is not feeling like I
[18:17] Speaker 3: had a bad day. They're dealing with discourage. Have you
[18:20] Speaker 3: ever felt discouraged? You ever feel like I'm not? I
[18:26] Speaker 3: wish I was a better parent. I wish I was
[18:29] Speaker 3: a better husband or a wife. I wish my business
[18:32] Speaker 3: was doing better than it is. You know, it's like
[18:37] Speaker 3: I don't know anybody today that's like, you know, my
[18:39] Speaker 3: biggest problem is I just feel way too encouraged and
[18:45] Speaker 3: I'm just I'm quite frankly, I'm sick of it. I
[18:49] Speaker 3: just wake up and I just think I'm killing it.
[18:53] Speaker 3: I don't know anybody that struggles with being too encouraged,
[18:58] Speaker 3: but I know tons of people today that are like, man,
[19:00] Speaker 3: am I good enough?
[19:03] Speaker 1: Am I doing a?
[19:05] Speaker 3: How come you ever get on social media and it
[19:09] Speaker 3: looked like God's blessing everybody else?
[19:11] Speaker 1: But you Sometimes you just grow like this.
[19:15] Speaker 3: Whoa They're in Italy again?
[19:24] Speaker 1: Whoa?
[19:27] Speaker 3: And See the problem with waiting on God is it
[19:30] Speaker 3: doesn't just deal with your impatience. You gotta be careful
[19:34] Speaker 3: because it will develop into discouragement.
[19:38] Speaker 1: And I don't know who this is for today, but
[19:40] Speaker 1: you need to understand.
[19:40] Speaker 3: Get your eyes off them, put your eyes on him.
[19:49] Speaker 3: The Bible says, looking under Jesus, the Author and the
[19:53] Speaker 3: finisher of our faith.
[19:55] Speaker 1: I can't listen.
[19:57] Speaker 3: I pray everybody's blessed, and I hope everybody doing great,
[20:01] Speaker 3: But I gotta be grateful for what God's doing in
[20:03] Speaker 3: my house. I gotta be excited about what God's doing
[20:06] Speaker 3: in my children. I gotta be thankful for what God's
[20:09] Speaker 3: doing in my city. Come on, anybody got that attitude
[20:12] Speaker 3: of gratitude today? Anybody thankful? Come on, clap and give
[20:15] Speaker 3: God praise. If you're great, come on, let's get encouraged
[20:19] Speaker 3: in the Lord. And you gotta be careful with discouragement
[20:24] Speaker 3: because if you're not, discouragement will result in rebellion.
[20:29] Speaker 1: If you're not careful with discouragement.
[20:31] Speaker 3: In fact, put this on the screen, they say this
[20:34] Speaker 3: worthless bread. Miracles seem meaningless when you're discouraged, and that
[20:39] Speaker 3: often leads into rebellion. You gotta be careful with the
[20:43] Speaker 3: discouraged soul because if you're not, it'll lead into rebellion.
[20:47] Speaker 3: All of a sudden, this miracle of manna, this miracle
[20:51] Speaker 3: of bread, they're gone. This bread ain't that good, This
[20:54] Speaker 3: ain't that this is this is not that. This is
[20:56] Speaker 3: not that awesome, this is not that great. The things
[20:59] Speaker 3: that want cause you to shout for joy are now
[21:03] Speaker 3: just meaningless in the presence of God. I've got to
[21:05] Speaker 3: get my eyes back, I've got to get my heart back,
[21:09] Speaker 3: I've got to get my faith back to say, this
[21:11] Speaker 3: is the marriage you gave me, this is the house
[21:14] Speaker 3: you bless me with These are the children that are
[21:17] Speaker 3: a gift from God. Come on, clap if you're thankful today,
[21:21] Speaker 3: Come on, let's get the eye and the heart of gratitude.
[21:25] Speaker 3: Come on, lift up a shut of praise today.
[21:27] Speaker 1: If you're grateful to God.
[21:31] Speaker 3: The Bible says, bless the Lord, oh my soul and all.
[21:35] Speaker 1: That is within me. Bless his holy name.
[21:38] Speaker 3: The Bible says, enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and
[21:41] Speaker 3: enter into his courts with praise. I will lift up
[21:45] Speaker 3: my hands in your sanctuary. Why because your love is
[21:49] Speaker 3: better than life. And when you stop having that attitude,
[21:52] Speaker 3: it's just bread, just these kids, this old house, you know, figs,
[21:59] Speaker 3: the plumbia go thing's electricity. You gotta be careful because complainers.
[22:05] Speaker 3: I never met a man complaint like this. You know,
[22:07] Speaker 3: I have a complaint complainers. I like weasels, this meaningless bread.
[22:19] Speaker 3: And it says they were waiting and God was taken
[22:21] Speaker 3: too long, and the path was much further and there
[22:25] Speaker 3: was it was not in the in the rate, the
[22:27] Speaker 3: pace or the plan that they had first what God had,
[22:31] Speaker 3: and their soul became very discouraged. And I know that
[22:37] Speaker 3: at church, you know, we we have a great time
[22:41] Speaker 3: lifting up our hands and praising the Lord. But I
[22:43] Speaker 3: just want to ask you, are you discouraged today? Because
[22:47] Speaker 3: God doesn't have a disdain for you. God has a
[22:51] Speaker 3: grace for you. God says, come to me with all
[22:54] Speaker 3: of your burdens. He says, be anxious for nothing, but
[22:58] Speaker 3: in everything through prayer and socation with thanksgiving.
[23:02] Speaker 1: Let your requests be made known to God and.
[23:05] Speaker 3: The peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Wiguard your
[23:09] Speaker 3: heart and your mind in Christ, Jesus. God wants to
[23:13] Speaker 3: turn your mourning into dancing. If you're sow in tears,
[23:17] Speaker 3: you're gonna reap with songs of joy because I know
[23:20] Speaker 3: the God that can turn around the terrible situation that
[23:23] Speaker 3: you're going through and bring glory for ashes. Come on
[23:27] Speaker 3: clapping praising today and their souls became discouraged. I'll never forget.
[23:36] Speaker 3: In June of twenty twenty, I felt so discouraged in
[23:40] Speaker 3: June of twenty twenty this during COVID. I finally got
[23:43] Speaker 3: COVID for the first time in June, and at that time,
[23:47] Speaker 3: we're going through so much in the world, and it
[23:50] Speaker 3: just felt like at church and every everywhere else turned out.
[23:53] Speaker 3: I felt so torn and felt so defeated, and I've
[23:57] Speaker 3: never been through a season like this. And my covid
[24:00] Speaker 3: into shingles and I got shingles right here on my ear.
[24:05] Speaker 3: And so I go into the urgent care and I
[24:06] Speaker 3: was in so much pain, and I was in pain
[24:09] Speaker 3: in my in my body, I was in pain in
[24:11] Speaker 3: my soul. And I went in the lady. She said, sir,
[24:15] Speaker 3: you have shingles. It comes from stress. She said, are
[24:19] Speaker 3: you stressed about anything? Well, I'm a man of God,
[24:30] Speaker 3: So I said no, And she said, surely you must
[24:34] Speaker 3: be stressed about something. I'm a man of confession. I
[24:36] Speaker 3: said no, I'm not stressed about anything. She said, well,
[24:39] Speaker 3: your body says contrary, and I'll never forget. Feeling discouraged.
[24:46] Speaker 3: You got to be careful with discouragement because discouragement will
[24:51] Speaker 3: turn into rebellion.
[24:54] Speaker 1: You notice what they did.
[24:56] Speaker 3: They started to complain against God, and they started to
[24:59] Speaker 3: complain against their pastor. It's never encouraged people that complain
[25:04] Speaker 3: against God and their pastor.
[25:05] Speaker 1: It's discouraged people.
[25:07] Speaker 3: And I'm just telling you guard your heart when you
[25:09] Speaker 3: feel discouraged. That's why it's so important that you put
[25:12] Speaker 3: on the word of God in your house. That's why
[25:15] Speaker 3: it's so important that you listen to elevation worship. You
[25:18] Speaker 3: listen to elevation rhythm, and you get the spirit of
[25:21] Speaker 3: faith and the spirit of worship into your house, and
[25:23] Speaker 3: you say, no weapon that's formed against me is going
[25:26] Speaker 3: to prosper, And every tongue that rises against me in
[25:29] Speaker 3: judgment I will condemn. I am more than a conqueror
[25:33] Speaker 3: in Christ Jesus, I'm the head and not the tale.
[25:36] Speaker 3: I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a marvelous life.
[25:40] Speaker 1: Come on, clap and give God praise.
[25:42] Speaker 3: That you might not have what you want to have,
[25:44] Speaker 3: might not be where you want to be, But come on,
[25:47] Speaker 3: clap and thank God you not where you're used to be.
[25:50] Speaker 3: Come on, Has God been good and faithful and generous
[25:54] Speaker 3: to any Oh? Come on, let the redeemed of the Lord,
[26:00] Speaker 3: So give him.
[26:01] Speaker 1: A shot of praise today. If you're grateful to God, you.
[26:06] Speaker 3: Gotta be careful with discouragement.
[26:09] Speaker 1: You gotta be careful with seasons of frustration.
[26:13] Speaker 3: Because what I noticed about God, God loves to take.
[26:16] Speaker 1: Us along the long way. He loves to take us
[26:20] Speaker 1: on the path of much resistance. He loves to develop
[26:25] Speaker 1: his character. Let me preach to somebody. God loves you
[26:28] Speaker 1: just the way you are. He just loves you way
[26:30] Speaker 1: too much to leave you that way.
[26:31] Speaker 3: God's working something inside of you. God's developing something that's lacking.
[26:36] Speaker 3: God's straining you, fir Us, come on, clap and praise
[26:39] Speaker 3: him today.
[26:40] Speaker 1: God's doing something, and.
[26:43] Speaker 3: He who has begun a good work will be faithful
[26:46] Speaker 3: to complete it. You want to know what's crazy about
[26:48] Speaker 3: the story in numbers twenty one, they were fresh off
[26:51] Speaker 3: of victory.
[26:52] Speaker 1: They were fresh off of w.
[26:54] Speaker 3: They had just had a win by taking out one
[26:57] Speaker 3: of the kings, and yet there was frustration.
[26:59] Speaker 1: Because you saw a.
[27:00] Speaker 3: Win last year doesn't mean you're gonna get an automatic
[27:03] Speaker 3: victory this year.
[27:04] Speaker 1: You gotta be patient with the Lord.
[27:06] Speaker 3: You gotta trust God's perfect timing. God is in control,
[27:10] Speaker 3: seated on the throne. And if God before you, who
[27:13] Speaker 3: can be against you, give him a praise. And so
[27:19] Speaker 3: and so the soul of the people became very discouraged.
[27:23] Speaker 3: And they're so discouraged that the result of the discouragement.
[27:26] Speaker 3: I don't know what you do when you're discouraged. I
[27:29] Speaker 3: usually go to McDonald's for mcflurry's and so, but what
[27:36] Speaker 3: they did. What they did was they complained against God,
[27:40] Speaker 3: and they complained against Moses because a lot of times,
[27:44] Speaker 3: what usually all that energy will result in taking it
[27:48] Speaker 3: out on your leaders, my good shepherd and the shepherd that.
[27:53] Speaker 1: God's placed over me.
[27:55] Speaker 3: And I'm just I'm just asking you, when you're discouraged,
[27:58] Speaker 3: run to the house of God. When you're discouraged, get
[28:01] Speaker 3: around somebody that will refresh you and lay hands on
[28:04] Speaker 3: you and pray for you. As iron sharpens iron, so
[28:08] Speaker 3: one man sharpens another.
[28:09] Speaker 1: Come on, I got to get around the people of God.
[28:12] Speaker 1: I got to get around some worshipers.
[28:14] Speaker 3: Anybody grateful for your godly friends today, come on, clap
[28:16] Speaker 3: and thank God for the ones that I.
[28:18] Speaker 1: Pray for you.
[28:21] Speaker 3: I was talking to this man of God recently and
[28:25] Speaker 3: we laid hands and prayed for him, and he said,
[28:27] Speaker 3: you don't know how long I've longed.
[28:30] Speaker 1: For somebody to pray for me. Get you some friends
[28:32] Speaker 1: that you know.
[28:33] Speaker 3: I don't like when people apologize, like, hey, you know,
[28:35] Speaker 3: I just I hate to be spiritual, but can I
[28:39] Speaker 3: pray for you?
[28:40] Speaker 1: It's like, yes, you could pray for me. We're going
[28:42] Speaker 1: through hell on earth.
[28:43] Speaker 3: We need somebody to lay hands and PROPHESI and tell
[28:46] Speaker 3: me that God has for mea with me.
[28:50] Speaker 1: And the soul of the people became.
[28:52] Speaker 3: Very discouraged, and they started to speak against God and Moses.
[28:57] Speaker 3: And as they're speaking against God and Moses, the Lord
[29:01] Speaker 3: sent some snakes. I don't know how you feel about snakes,
[29:04] Speaker 3: but they're my biggest fear. Some are afraid of spiders,
[29:08] Speaker 3: some are afraid of the dark, some are afraid of
[29:10] Speaker 3: close talkers, some are afraid of bad breath. I'm afraid
[29:14] Speaker 3: of snakes. I don't care if they're on the ground
[29:16] Speaker 3: or in the plane. I'm afraid of snakes. And the
[29:20] Speaker 3: Lord sends snakes to bite them, and all of a
[29:23] Speaker 3: sudden they're dealing with a snake bite. And as they're
[29:26] Speaker 3: dealing with a snake bite, they realize, oh no, we.
[29:29] Speaker 1: Done messed up.
[29:30] Speaker 3: And so they come back to Moses and they say, Moses,
[29:34] Speaker 3: we have sinned against you and against God. Please forgive
[29:39] Speaker 3: us right down number three today. Sometimes God will deal
[29:43] Speaker 3: with your confession. I've got to confess my sins. I've
[29:47] Speaker 3: got to listen. If you can name it, God can
[29:49] Speaker 3: heal it. But until you can come clean about that
[29:52] Speaker 3: thing that you're dealing with and till you can be
[29:54] Speaker 3: open about that struggle that you've been going through.
[29:57] Speaker 1: How could God touch what you're not willing to reveal?
[30:00] Speaker 3: The Bible says the man that conceals his sin, we
[30:03] Speaker 3: will not prosper.
[30:04] Speaker 1: Oh, I love what the Bible says in Psalm fifty.
[30:06] Speaker 3: One, for I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is
[30:10] Speaker 3: always before me against you, and you alone? Have I
[30:14] Speaker 3: sin and done this evil in your sight? What about
[30:18] Speaker 3: first John one to nine, If we confess our sins,
[30:21] Speaker 3: he is faithful and just to forgive us.
[30:24] Speaker 1: Of our sins and to cleanse.
[30:26] Speaker 3: Us from all Was that word right there unrighteousness?
[30:30] Speaker 1: If I want to put an emphasis.
[30:32] Speaker 3: Right there on the word if if we confess our sins,
[30:34] Speaker 3: God is faithful and just to forgive us of our
[30:37] Speaker 3: sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I like
[30:42] Speaker 3: this thing. Confession. We've got to confess. You know where
[30:45] Speaker 3: confession comes from. Conviction leads to confession when you feel
[30:52] Speaker 3: the conviction of God. These guys looked at these snake bities.
[30:55] Speaker 3: They said, oh no, we didn't. It's one thing to
[31:03] Speaker 3: have a mosquito bite. God's messing with you when you
[31:06] Speaker 3: get a snake bite, and they say, we need to
[31:10] Speaker 3: confess our sin. We need to be honest about our transgressions.
[31:16] Speaker 3: You are only as sick as your secrets. Your authority
[31:24] Speaker 3: is in your authenticity. And when you get real with God,
[31:29] Speaker 3: God already saw it.
[31:31] Speaker 1: God already knows about it.
[31:33] Speaker 3: God never looks away when you and I make mistakes.
[31:36] Speaker 3: His face is set a flint. And when you feel
[31:39] Speaker 3: the conviction of the Holy Spirit, anybody thankful today for
[31:43] Speaker 3: the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Conviction shows me you're alive.
[31:51] Speaker 3: Conviction shows me God's still working with you. Remember, you
[31:54] Speaker 3: gotta be careful with conviction, because if you do something once,
[31:57] Speaker 3: you're gonna feel bad. But if you don't talk about it,
[32:00] Speaker 3: do it again, you're gonna feel kind of bad. You
[32:02] Speaker 3: do it a third time, you ain't gonna feel nothing.
[32:04] Speaker 3: What keeps your conviction is your confession. When I come
[32:08] Speaker 3: before the Lord and I say, Lord, i've sin and
[32:11] Speaker 3: fallen short of the glory of God. Thank you for
[32:14] Speaker 3: the Blood of Jesus, Thank you for the Cross of Christ.
[32:17] Speaker 3: Thank you for a new beginning and a second chance.
[32:19] Speaker 3: Think you that you always make a way for me
[32:21] Speaker 3: to come back to your house. Come on clap and
[32:23] Speaker 3: give God praise if you believe that he's the God
[32:25] Speaker 3: of second.
[32:26] Speaker 1: Third, fourth, fifth, Come on clap.
[32:29] Speaker 3: If you believe he's the God of second.
[32:31] Speaker 1: Chances today.
[32:34] Speaker 3: And I want to encourage you to get good at confession,
[32:38] Speaker 3: get good at naming the thing that could have power
[32:41] Speaker 3: or stronghold over you. But the moment you confess the blood,
[32:44] Speaker 3: the moment you confess it to God, it loses all
[32:47] Speaker 3: his sting and he loses all his power.
[32:50] Speaker 1: If you can name it, God can heal it.
[32:54] Speaker 3: I'll never forget. There's this pastor that I really love
[32:56] Speaker 3: and respect. He's going to be with the Lord now.
[32:59] Speaker 1: But he's just a.
[33:00] Speaker 3: Real righteous, holy, powerful man of God. And he tells
[33:05] Speaker 3: this story that one time, early in the morning, he
[33:08] Speaker 3: woke up and he called like his second in command,
[33:11] Speaker 3: kind of right hand pastor.
[33:12] Speaker 1: Early in the morning. I said, there's been an incident.
[33:16] Speaker 3: I need you to get over to my house immediately.
[33:18] Speaker 3: Something's happened, something bad. And so the associate pastor got
[33:23] Speaker 3: in the car and he drove as fast as he
[33:24] Speaker 3: could in the pastor's house and he's thinking in his head,
[33:27] Speaker 3: what happened.
[33:27] Speaker 1: What did he do? What went on? Is it the kids?
[33:30] Speaker 1: Is the what happened?
[33:32] Speaker 3: And he gets to the pastor's house early in the
[33:34] Speaker 3: morning and the pastor opens the front door and he's
[33:37] Speaker 3: in his robe and he says, please come in, and
[33:41] Speaker 3: he's got community out. He said, you need to serve
[33:43] Speaker 3: communion to me and you need to pray for me.
[33:46] Speaker 1: I've sinned. And the associate pastors thinking, oh no, we
[33:50] Speaker 1: lost the church. Oh no, what did you do? Oh
[33:53] Speaker 1: my gosh, this is terrible. Oh no.
[33:55] Speaker 3: He's like, yes, Pastor, of course, and he said, and
[33:57] Speaker 3: the Pastor's really serious and he goes, last night, that
[34:00] Speaker 3: made a mistake.
[34:00] Speaker 1: Can I send I ate Orioles? And the associate pastors
[34:09] Speaker 1: like Jus.
[34:11] Speaker 3: He's like, but I made a vow to the Lord
[34:13] Speaker 3: years ago that I would never have another OREO.
[34:18] Speaker 1: I was thinking, that's a vow I ain't never making.
[34:20] Speaker 1: In Jesus name.
[34:22] Speaker 3: That's got between you and the Holy ghost. I ain't
[34:24] Speaker 3: touching that one. You can man you on another level,
[34:28] Speaker 3: man of God.
[34:31] Speaker 6: But can you hear the fear of the Lord? Can
[34:35] Speaker 6: you hear the closeness to Jesus? Serve me communion?
[34:40] Speaker 3: And I did it last night, So I'm confessing the
[34:42] Speaker 3: next morning, I have sinned against the Lord.
[34:45] Speaker 1: I made a vow.
[34:46] Speaker 3: I've got a fulfill a vow. I want you to
[34:49] Speaker 3: be quick with your confession. Don't hold off for six
[34:52] Speaker 3: months or nine months. The Bible says, repent therefore and
[34:55] Speaker 3: be converted, that your sins may be washed away, and
[34:58] Speaker 3: times of refreshing will come from the presence of the Lord.
[35:03] Speaker 3: When you confess the cross and confess the blood of Jesus.
[35:06] Speaker 3: There's nothing you've done, there's nothing you've touched. There's no
[35:09] Speaker 3: place that you've gone that My God can't heal. My
[35:12] Speaker 3: God can't forgive, My God can't deliver anybody thankful today
[35:16] Speaker 3: for the grace of Jesus. So he deals with my
[35:23] Speaker 3: faith in God's timing. He deals with my discouragement. He
[35:28] Speaker 3: deals with my confession, and then I love.
[35:31] Speaker 1: This last one. He deals right down the last one.
[35:33] Speaker 1: He deals with my obedience.
[35:36] Speaker 3: So the Lord says to Moses, Moses, get a fiery snake, and.
[35:41] Speaker 1: I want you to put it on a pole, and I.
[35:44] Speaker 3: Want you to lift it up high in anybody that
[35:48] Speaker 3: looks at this fiery serpent, if.
[35:51] Speaker 1: They look, they will be healed.
[35:53] Speaker 3: All throughout the scriptures, God asks people to do stuff
[35:57] Speaker 3: that are not conventional, but it will unlock their mid Oh,
[36:00] Speaker 3: come on, do you remember when Joshua had to walk
[36:03] Speaker 3: around Jericho seven times? Do you remember when that man
[36:06] Speaker 3: had to dip into the water seven times? Do you
[36:08] Speaker 3: remember when the man with the withered hand had to
[36:11] Speaker 3: stretch out his hand? Do you remember when the widow
[36:13] Speaker 3: had to make the room for the prophet? Do you
[36:15] Speaker 3: remember when Abraham had to leave his land?
[36:18] Speaker 1: Do you remember when? Come on?
[36:19] Speaker 3: Everybody through the Bible had to do something to unlock.
[36:23] Speaker 1: The miracle of God. It all happened through obedience.
[36:30] Speaker 3: And the Bible says in Philippians chapter two, verse eight,
[36:34] Speaker 3: in Jesus being found in appearance as a man, he
[36:37] Speaker 3: humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death,
[36:42] Speaker 3: even death.
[36:43] Speaker 1: Of the cross.
[36:45] Speaker 3: Jesus himself had to humble himself and become obedient, even
[36:50] Speaker 3: to the point of death and death on the cross.
[36:54] Speaker 1: See.
[36:54] Speaker 3: One of the things I love about God is that
[36:56] Speaker 3: this is a foreshadow. This is a type cast of
[36:59] Speaker 3: what's to come. See here in the Old Testament they
[37:02] Speaker 3: lifted up a snake, and the Bible says that if
[37:05] Speaker 3: you looked, you would live. But In the New Testament,
[37:08] Speaker 3: we lift up the son of Man. His name is Jesus,
[37:11] Speaker 3: And if you believe, you shall live.
[37:12] Speaker 1: In the Old.
[37:13] Speaker 3: Testament, their cure represented their curse. But in the New Testament,
[37:17] Speaker 3: Jesus became the curse for us, and he is.
[37:20] Speaker 1: Now lifted above all names.
[37:22] Speaker 3: Anybody thankful today for the grace that's found in Jesus Christ, Oh,
[37:26] Speaker 3: come on, clap and give him a praise today.
[37:31] Speaker 1: John chapter three, verse thirteen.
[37:32] Speaker 3: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
[37:37] Speaker 3: even so must the son of Man be lifted up,
[37:41] Speaker 3: that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have
[37:46] Speaker 3: eternal life. In the Old Testament, it's look and live.
[37:52] Speaker 3: In the New Testament, it's believe in live.
[37:56] Speaker 1: But in both cases I'm gonna obey. I've got to
[38:00] Speaker 1: do what God.
[38:01] Speaker 3: Said to unlock the miracle of salvation, to unlock the
[38:06] Speaker 3: miracle of God's best. And I'll just tell you the
[38:09] Speaker 3: Bible says God takes not delight in sacrifice.
[38:15] Speaker 7: As much as God loves obedience, God is attracted to
[38:20] Speaker 7: your obedience. And sometimes God doesn't give you something new
[38:24] Speaker 7: to do until you go back and do the last
[38:27] Speaker 7: thing He told you to do, And I wonder how's
[38:31] Speaker 7: your obedience, Because obedience preceedes blessing. Obedience unlocks miracles when
[38:40] Speaker 7: you obey the voice of.
[38:41] Speaker 3: God, when you do what God tells you to do.
[38:44] Speaker 3: I'm telling you nothing will unlock the Kingdom of God
[38:47] Speaker 3: in your life like obeying the voice of the Lord.
[38:50] Speaker 3: Jesus said my voice. My sheep will.
[38:53] Speaker 1: Recognize a stranger's voice.
[38:55] Speaker 3: They will not follow anybody. Believe today that God's got
[38:57] Speaker 3: a plan for your life. God's got something for you
[39:00] Speaker 3: to do. There's a will of God for your There's
[39:02] Speaker 3: a will of God for all of us.
[39:04] Speaker 1: There's a will of God for you. And you gotta obey.
[39:08] Speaker 3: You gotta trust and obey, for there's no other way.
[39:12] Speaker 3: I gotta obey God. I gotta say, God, if you
[39:15] Speaker 3: want to take me along the long road, if you
[39:19] Speaker 3: want it to take as long as the four or
[39:22] Speaker 3: five takes to get to eat them, your will above
[39:26] Speaker 3: my will.
[39:30] Speaker 1: Not my will be done, but your will.
[39:33] Speaker 3: If you want to take me along the way, help
[39:36] Speaker 3: me to decrease so that you can increase.
[39:40] Speaker 1: And Lord, help me to obey at every turn.
[39:42] Speaker 3: Help me to obey in every season unless I grow discouraged,
[39:46] Speaker 3: and I start to complain these kids, this spouse.
[39:53] Speaker 1: Some of you today.
[39:54] Speaker 3: You don't need a new spouse, You need a new perspective.
[39:58] Speaker 3: You need to see this person as the miracle that God.
[40:02] Speaker 1: Come on, clap if you believe it.
[40:03] Speaker 3: Married people, I gotta see you the way God has
[40:05] Speaker 3: called me to see you.
[40:07] Speaker 1: I gotta talk to you the way God has called
[40:08] Speaker 1: me to talk to you. I gotta get all that discouragement.
[40:14] Speaker 3: I gotta get all that frustration, and I gotta turn
[40:17] Speaker 3: it into praise. And there are some things I gotta confess.
[40:21] Speaker 3: I gotta confess that I am a sinner in need
[40:24] Speaker 3: of grace. But I confess that you love me and
[40:27] Speaker 3: that you're for me, and that you're with me. And
[40:31] Speaker 3: I'll obey you no matter what the cost. I'll obey you,
[40:34] Speaker 3: no matter what you tell me to do. You just
[40:38] Speaker 3: think about the youth ministry of the Israelites at the time.
[40:43] Speaker 1: No, mom and dad likes Son. I noticed snake, big you,
[40:49] Speaker 1: But I need you to trust me. Here we're gonna
[40:51] Speaker 1: lift it up.
[40:51] Speaker 3: I want you to stare at it, son, kids like
[40:55] Speaker 3: I'm not looking at the.
[40:56] Speaker 1: Thing that just hurt me.
[40:58] Speaker 3: No, no, no, sun yet you have to owe, because if
[41:01] Speaker 3: you obey, you're gonna live. If you obey, you're gonna flourish.
[41:06] Speaker 3: And I just want to just tell you about God.
[41:09] Speaker 3: God's into your life. God's gonna ask some things of you.
[41:13] Speaker 3: The Bible says, the steps of the righteous are ordered
[41:16] Speaker 3: by the Lord. God's gotta plan for your life. No
[41:19] Speaker 3: eye has seen, and no ear has heard, and no
[41:22] Speaker 3: mind can imagine the things that God has in stored
[41:24] Speaker 3: for those who love Him and are called according to
[41:26] Speaker 3: His purpose.
[41:27] Speaker 1: God's got a plan for your life, and We're gonna
[41:30] Speaker 1: have to obey.
[41:32] Speaker 3: Anybody want God's best for your family, anybody want God's
[41:35] Speaker 3: best for your life, Come on, clap.
[41:37] Speaker 1: And give and pray. You're gonna have to obey.
[41:44] Speaker 3: It's talking to a friend the other day. Let's being
[41:47] Speaker 3: the great church. Things are going off. It's going like crazy,
[41:52] Speaker 3: tons of people. The people are coming, the money is not.
[41:59] Speaker 3: And he felt like the Lord told him, I want
[42:01] Speaker 3: you to.
[42:01] Speaker 1: Fast and pray for the finances of the church.
[42:05] Speaker 3: I felt like the Lord told him, fast and pray
[42:07] Speaker 3: for the finances of this church.
[42:09] Speaker 1: He said, if the Lord told me to do it,
[42:10] Speaker 1: I gotta do it. So he went on a fast, and.
[42:14] Speaker 3: He started to pray, And when he finished the fast
[42:18] Speaker 3: on the last day, his phone rang and there was
[42:22] Speaker 3: a man that he hadn't spoke to in nine years.
[42:26] Speaker 3: And the man on the other line said, it's crazy.
[42:29] Speaker 3: I know we haven't spoken in nine years. But this
[42:33] Speaker 3: morning the Lord woke me up and showed me your face.
[42:37] Speaker 3: And the Lord spoke to my heart and told me
[42:40] Speaker 3: to wire you two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to
[42:44] Speaker 3: your church.
[42:47] Speaker 1: Oh, come on, clap if you believe it today.
[42:49] Speaker 3: Clap if you believe that obedience will unlock something.
[42:55] Speaker 5: Clap.
[42:55] Speaker 3: If you believe that God's ways are better than.
[42:57] Speaker 1: Your ways, come on, clap.
[42:59] Speaker 3: If you belie if he knows the end from the beginning,
[43:02] Speaker 3: wonder you give God praise if He's taken you along
[43:06] Speaker 3: the long way.
[43:08] Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait on you. I'm gonna worship you.
[43:11] Speaker 3: In the midnight hour, even when I don't feel like it,
[43:15] Speaker 3: even when it doesn't make sense.
[43:17] Speaker 1: I will not be discouraged.
[43:19] Speaker 3: I will lift up my hands and your sectuary because.
[43:22] Speaker 1: Your love is better than life.
[43:24] Speaker 3: I confess the blood, I confess them.
[43:27] Speaker 1: Oh, come on, life, if you believe it, and I
[43:29] Speaker 1: will pay the Lord. I will oh pay God.
[43:32] Speaker 3: Jesus humbled himself to the point of death on the cross.
[43:36] Speaker 3: That's why God exalted him and gave him the name
[43:40] Speaker 3: that is above every name. Oh, come on, if you
[43:42] Speaker 3: believe it today, let's worship our King. Let's give our

[50:18] Speaker 3: I didn't have time to do my read through that morning,
[50:22] Speaker 3: so I pressed play.
[50:25] Speaker 1: And it started to read through.
[50:27] Speaker 3: Numbers twenty one, and I heard the word discouraged, and
[50:34] Speaker 3: I press pause, and I said, what it is you say, discouraged.
[50:41] Speaker 3: And I thought of you, and I thought about today,
[50:46] Speaker 3: and I thought there'd be somebody here today that just
[50:48] Speaker 3: needs to hear the word of the Lord. Say to
[50:50] Speaker 3: you that I'm the God that refreshes souls. I'm the
