[0:03] Speaker 1: So you've made it through three hours of the regular
[0:06] Speaker 1: show on terrestrial radio, and you wanted a little bit more.
[0:09] Speaker 1: So that's why you found the gun Talk after show
[0:11] Speaker 1: podcast where we saved all the best things that we
[0:13] Speaker 1: can't say on regular radio. Now here's Tom, Michelle and
[0:16] Speaker 1: Jim for the gun Talk after show.
[0:19] Speaker 2: He's after showtime where we have just two of us.
[0:22] Speaker 2: Today we finally got rid of that woman.
[0:24] Speaker 1: Does that mean I only have to play half of
[0:27] Speaker 1: a fanfare?
[0:28] Speaker 3: Yeah? Dot it.
[0:30] Speaker 2: Okay, Michelle's not with us today. I mean it's not
[0:34] Speaker 2: It doesn't sound right when you said Michelle's not with
[0:35] Speaker 2: us anymore. A little final says little final. No, she's
[0:40] Speaker 2: just not here today. Okay. Got a big thanks to Mark.
[0:43] Speaker 2: Are your buddy Mark for helping us out run on
[0:45] Speaker 2: the board today or running the phone.
[0:47] Speaker 3: So we appreciate that, Thank you, sir. So interesting topic.
[0:52] Speaker 2: I'd loved it when somebody said, you know, well, do
[0:54] Speaker 2: you have an AR fifteen or is it any good
[0:57] Speaker 2: for self defense? And I said, well, do you have
[0:58] Speaker 2: an AR fifteen? And you're for a private note to
[1:01] Speaker 2: be going, do I have a n Air fifteen as
[1:05] Speaker 2: in singular?
[1:07] Speaker 1: Well you know because and then later, and then later
[1:09] Speaker 1: you made a reference here. Now do you have it
[1:10] Speaker 1: for home defense? But maybe you have it for sporting
[1:14] Speaker 1: use or for competition I'm thinking, or one for each?
[1:18] Speaker 3: Yes, well, and that is in fact, how did I
[1:21] Speaker 3: end up with? I am?
[1:23] Speaker 2: Yes, I do have it in multiple least a dozen ars,
[1:27] Speaker 2: And I know that sounds like a lot, except that
[1:29] Speaker 2: you know you're allowed fourteen clubs in your golf bag.
[1:33] Speaker 3: So yeah, each has a different use, So I.
[1:36] Speaker 2: Think up to fourteen this shouldn't be a problem at
[1:38] Speaker 2: I'll no, one's your question that at all?
[1:40] Speaker 1: Okay, See I was thought I was thirteen, anchry that
[1:42] Speaker 1: I could have been cheating.
[1:43] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, it's thirteen. Well, plus your partner's cutter,
[1:46] Speaker 2: it's fourteen total, and now you can carry fewer if
[1:50] Speaker 2: you want to. But you know, I need to have
[1:54] Speaker 2: all the clubs in my bag. I can, so I
[1:55] Speaker 2: have a lot of reasons for bad shots.
[1:58] Speaker 1: See, I can play. I thought exactly. I thought it
[2:02] Speaker 1: was thirteen clubs altogether, and I've still been carrying eighteen.
[2:06] Speaker 1: But that's not the point. I could have been cheating differently,
[2:10] Speaker 1: but no, it.
[2:11] Speaker 3: Has it been helping you carrying eighteen.
[2:14] Speaker 1: In a cart, it's fine, but end of my score. No,
[2:18] Speaker 1: I told you when I went golfing, first time I
[2:20] Speaker 1: ever golf that broke a hundred and I haven't since.
[2:23] Speaker 1: Oh no, really, no I sucked. I enjoy it because
[2:26] Speaker 1: I do with the kids and my friends. I'm not
[2:28] Speaker 1: out there to get you know, I'm out there to
[2:30] Speaker 1: do the best I came. I'm out there. But if
[2:31] Speaker 1: I have a lousy day. I had a lousy day,
[2:32] Speaker 1: it's not the end of the world.
[2:34] Speaker 2: Well, and you got to adopt that edge because there
[2:36] Speaker 2: are some people who when they hit a bad shot,
[2:38] Speaker 2: it messes them up and they just have a fit
[2:40] Speaker 2: and throw clubs and all that, and you going, you
[2:42] Speaker 2: need to go away, You need to go do something else,
[2:44] Speaker 2: because this is supposed to be fun.
[2:46] Speaker 1: Now, if you're a golf club vendor, that's great. It's
[2:51] Speaker 1: a freaking clubs perspective. Yeah, there you go, exactly right. So, yeah,
[2:55] Speaker 1: I got you know. Of course we have ars.
[2:58] Speaker 2: Now you can get them in all these different calibers,
[3:01] Speaker 2: and so it's like, okay, well I got a nine
[3:03] Speaker 2: milimeter are and five.
[3:05] Speaker 3: Five six a fair racket, and I went a.
[3:07] Speaker 2: Blackout at a grindle out of this and I was like, oh, okay,
[3:12] Speaker 2: four fifty bailwoff or something.
[3:14] Speaker 1: And if you're blessed enough to be one of those folks,
[3:18] Speaker 1: please keep your mags totally identified, like sharp beyond him
[3:21] Speaker 1: or something.
[3:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's probably generally not an issue, but there are
[3:27] Speaker 2: certain combinations where it can be an issue. So exactly right,
[3:32] Speaker 2: I probably need to go back in. I think of
[3:36] Speaker 2: all the ones I have, the one I don't need
[3:40] Speaker 2: is like need, well, just haven't shot it in twenty years?
[3:43] Speaker 2: Is that the Olympic Arms Car fifteen. It's just a
[3:47] Speaker 2: little bit short thing. And there are so many guns
[3:52] Speaker 2: now being made that are frankly better. You know, everybody
[3:57] Speaker 2: from Ruger has the Harrier Line smith, the Weston has
[4:01] Speaker 2: its rifles and you can get them really small with
[4:04] Speaker 2: collapsible stocks. And of course now you can get an SBR.
[4:07] Speaker 2: It doesn't cost anything extra. Yeah, yeah, tax wise, right,
[4:11] Speaker 2: you don't have to pay the tax used to be
[4:12] Speaker 2: a file form on it, and you got an SBR.
[4:15] Speaker 2: And I do like the idea of an ar SBR
[4:20] Speaker 2: with a suppressor, and you.
[4:22] Speaker 1: Don't have to get as larger as of suppressor as
[4:26] Speaker 1: most folks think. They think suppressor, they think fourteen inches
[4:28] Speaker 1: hanging off the end of your muzzle. Oh yeah, no, no, no,
[4:31] Speaker 1: they're way better and smaller.
[4:32] Speaker 2: Well, you get a four or six inch. But understanding
[4:35] Speaker 2: that that's still not hearing safe.
[4:37] Speaker 1: Oh sure, sure, I'm it's reduction, Yes, exactly, massive reduction
[4:42] Speaker 1: it is.
[4:43] Speaker 3: And really I'm not even sure.
[4:46] Speaker 2: Most even a big suppressor on a rifle using supersonic
[4:51] Speaker 2: AMMO can be hearing safe.
[4:54] Speaker 1: Right, well, of course, explain why, I'm well, yeah, right, Well, you.
[4:58] Speaker 2: Know, if the bullet's going faster eleven hundred pe per second,
[5:01] Speaker 2: it's breaking the sound barrier, and so there's a pressure
[5:04] Speaker 2: takes care of the muscle blast. But once the bullet's
[5:08] Speaker 2: out of the muscle and going down range, it makes
[5:10] Speaker 2: its own big noise with this crack of the rifle. Now,
[5:14] Speaker 2: if the bullet's going slower than eleven hundred fet per second,
[5:18] Speaker 2: then it's not breaking the sound barrier barrier and you
[5:20] Speaker 2: could be really.
[5:21] Speaker 1: Quiet, hence the term subsonic.
[5:24] Speaker 2: Subsided AMMO, and you get an extra benefit. I was
[5:29] Speaker 2: mentioning as we're finishing out the show, the idea of
[5:33] Speaker 2: a lever action in three fifty seven magnum. I can't
[5:37] Speaker 2: believe you have one, I know, but you shoot thirty
[5:40] Speaker 2: eighths in it, and that's subsonic AMMO. And you get
[5:43] Speaker 2: an additional benefit on the sound side over like an AR,
[5:47] Speaker 2: because when an AR goes off or any semiauto, the
[5:50] Speaker 2: action opens up and that's youre to exect the empty
[5:54] Speaker 2: But when it opens up, it exposes that noise to you,
[5:58] Speaker 2: and so it's a little bit louder it with a
[6:01] Speaker 2: closed breach like a lever action or a single shot
[6:04] Speaker 2: or even a pump. Now, all that gas is going
[6:07] Speaker 2: forward through the barrel and out through the suppressor, so
[6:11] Speaker 2: those are inherently quieter.
[6:13] Speaker 1: Same reason why it wouldn't work very well on a revolver.
[6:17] Speaker 2: Yes, you got all those gases coming out out of
[6:19] Speaker 2: the side.
[6:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
[6:21] Speaker 2: People do put suppressures on revolvers, and I guess it helps.
[6:25] Speaker 3: But I can't.
[6:26] Speaker 1: It's reduction.
[6:27] Speaker 2: It's so it's like, okay, it's not as quiet as
[6:30] Speaker 2: it could be.
[6:32] Speaker 3: There was.
[6:33] Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember, Well, you know something else that
[6:35] Speaker 1: we don't discuss. It's kind of a given for us,
[6:38] Speaker 1: but I mean for folks that are new into it
[6:39] Speaker 1: or something. When you do go with subsonic, you also
[6:43] Speaker 1: substantially decrease your range.
[6:45] Speaker 2: Oh yes, well you've got a slower bullet, you've got
[6:48] Speaker 2: less energy, less range, all the rest of it, no.
[6:50] Speaker 1: Doubt, but you need to know that going into it.
[6:53] Speaker 2: Right in they for instance, like a three hundred blackout
[6:57] Speaker 2: with a subsonic load, and three hundred you're really talking
[7:01] Speaker 2: one hundred yards effective range.
[7:03] Speaker 3: Yep.
[7:04] Speaker 2: Now, if you put a super sonic load there, you
[7:08] Speaker 2: can make a tudor yard rifle, And that I guess
[7:11] Speaker 2: is one of the benefits of a three hundred blackout rifle.
[7:15] Speaker 2: You have choice of AMMO, so you can go with
[7:17] Speaker 2: a lighter bullet and have more range, or the really
[7:19] Speaker 2: heavy store bullets and make it truly quiet.
[7:23] Speaker 1: Well, what I do is that when I hunt with
[7:25] Speaker 1: sonic as opposed to subsiding, I usually go around distribute
[7:29] Speaker 1: hearing protection for the deer and the wildlife. So the
[7:32] Speaker 1: following day, when I'll be shooting and I'm still polite, you.
[7:36] Speaker 2: Are so fawful, I'll tell you, well, I'm not sure
[7:40] Speaker 2: you actually have thoughts. But that's a whole different question.
[7:42] Speaker 1: Altogether, not cohesive ones at least.
[7:44] Speaker 2: Well, there you go, exactly right, So huge week with
[7:49] Speaker 2: no third Circuit. I mean that they crushed New Jersey's
[7:55] Speaker 2: semi automatic rifle band And yeah, I know.
[7:58] Speaker 3: And now we've got an.
[7:59] Speaker 2: Actual circuit split, got the Seventh Circuit going one way
[8:02] Speaker 2: the Third Circuit going the other way. Whether that matters
[8:06] Speaker 2: a lot, I don't know, since the Supreme Court has
[8:09] Speaker 2: already accepted our case. So it's not that it's moot
[8:14] Speaker 2: because the arguments, and look, the arguments made in this
[8:18] Speaker 2: Third Circuit case in the decision are really interesting. You
[8:23] Speaker 2: know what's most interesting about it. This hundred and whatever
[8:26] Speaker 2: it was, ninety page decision was written by a woman
[8:34] Speaker 2: left liberal judge who was appointed by Joe Biden.
[8:42] Speaker 3: Trump.
[8:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, not a Trump appointee, not a right we're talking
[8:48] Speaker 2: a left wing. But she had the intellectual honesty to say, look, this.
[8:52] Speaker 1: Is what the law is and this is how we
[8:54] Speaker 1: have to I might not like it, however, Yeah, that's good.
[8:57] Speaker 1: That's good to know they're out there.
[8:58] Speaker 3: It's terrific.
[9:00] Speaker 2: And you know, Mark Smith kind of made the allusion
[9:04] Speaker 2: to it, but we didn't really get into it that
[9:08] Speaker 2: this still would not have happened had it not been
[9:10] Speaker 2: for the Trump appointees on.
[9:13] Speaker 1: The Court, because people and Lindsey Graham.
[9:17] Speaker 2: Well, yeah, of course we're Lindsay Graham with the Bret Kavanaugh.
[9:21] Speaker 2: But I'm talking about like on the Third Circuit, all
[9:23] Speaker 2: these judges there.
[9:24] Speaker 1: Trump Trump apartments.
[9:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, so you got all these judges, dozens and dozens
[9:30] Speaker 2: and dozens of judges that have been put on the bench,
[9:33] Speaker 2: the federal benches by Donald Trump in his two terms,
[9:37] Speaker 2: and those are critical to what's going on right now.
[9:42] Speaker 2: I know that we're some of us are not perfectly
[9:45] Speaker 2: happy with Donald Trump. I get that, and Lord knows,
[9:49] Speaker 2: I wish that he would make his speeches like a
[9:51] Speaker 2: quarter of the Lenk so he'd quit talking. At the
[9:54] Speaker 2: same time, he has done a lot for us. This
[9:56] Speaker 2: Department of Justice has done a lot for us. So
[10:00] Speaker 2: it is foolish and frankly, it's a little bit immature
[10:03] Speaker 2: to rail about Donald Trump this and Donald Trump that.
[10:07] Speaker 2: If you like the Second Amendment, you gotta acknowledge what
[10:09] Speaker 2: he's done for us.
[10:10] Speaker 1: You could say he's an effective egotist, and you'd be right.
[10:14] Speaker 3: Hmm. Interesting, that'd be a good license plate if you
[10:16] Speaker 3: get to fit on that.
[10:17] Speaker 1: I'll take results like that.
[10:19] Speaker 3: There you go. Howld on to that fot, let's take
[10:21] Speaker 3: a quick break. We'll get back to that.
[10:27] Speaker 4: From the range to the field. CZ firearms are built
[10:30] Speaker 4: to perform when it counts. Known for accuracy, durability, and reliability.
[10:35] Speaker 4: CZ stands apart, CZ built for those who demand more
[10:40] Speaker 4: Czfirearms dot Com.
[10:49] Speaker 2: All right, so we're back. It's Jim Kinzie and me.
[10:54] Speaker 2: And you said you have some kind of prediction you
[10:56] Speaker 2: want to make, all right, go for it. Well, yeah, yeah,
[10:59] Speaker 2: we had that early too.
[11:00] Speaker 1: Actually, I don't know if it's a prediction as much
[11:03] Speaker 1: of as a dinner bet with you. Okay, what I
[11:07] Speaker 1: think is going to happen with the Supreme Court taking
[11:09] Speaker 1: on this case, we're pretty conference going to win, although
[11:12] Speaker 1: all that could change with midter. Who knows what's going
[11:14] Speaker 1: to happen between now and then, but it looks great.
[11:16] Speaker 1: I think they're going to be pre instead of like
[11:19] Speaker 1: Mark said, you know, keeping this segmented where magazines and
[11:22] Speaker 1: handguns will come down the road. Right, we'll take care
[11:25] Speaker 1: of the ar and that'll set precedent and then we
[11:27] Speaker 1: use that as our basis to for the other cases.
[11:30] Speaker 1: I think the Supreme Court's well aware of that. And Mike,
[11:33] Speaker 1: here's my prediction. I think they're gonna nip it in
[11:35] Speaker 1: the bud. They're going to rule how we thought. And
[11:38] Speaker 1: in addition, they're going to take on these catch so
[11:40] Speaker 1: they don't even have to take those other cases coming up.
[11:42] Speaker 1: They'll say, and magazines are considered arms, and they'll kind
[11:45] Speaker 1: of roll it into one thing and move it down
[11:47] Speaker 1: the road.
[11:49] Speaker 3: That I don't know that they have the ability to
[11:53] Speaker 3: do that if it was not brought before them, but.
[11:56] Speaker 1: If they do it by definition, and if they're saying
[11:58] Speaker 1: and for those you know, I'm not using legal speak,
[12:02] Speaker 1: but for those that are curious, here's some examples of arms.
[12:06] Speaker 2: Well, yeah, they certainly could do that and say they're arms.
[12:11] Speaker 2: That would be interesting. We'll follow that and see, I
[12:14] Speaker 2: understand what Marcus saying. He says a lot of times
[12:17] Speaker 2: you just say, look, people quit pushing. It's like he
[12:20] Speaker 2: keeps saying, stop with the machine gun thing. We will
[12:24] Speaker 2: not win on machine guns. I understand that you want them.
[12:28] Speaker 2: I get that, but we're not going to win. And
[12:30] Speaker 2: what we don't want is a bad precedent out there.
[12:34] Speaker 2: So just you've got to be patient. He says, Look,
[12:37] Speaker 2: we're going to get the air fifteens. Then we're going
[12:39] Speaker 2: to get suppressors before we get magazines, he said, because
[12:44] Speaker 2: and I listen to these lawyers, they're tell me, look,
[12:47] Speaker 2: this is the way we have to proceed to do it.
[12:49] Speaker 3: Another way is to court. What could be a catastrophic.
[12:53] Speaker 1: Loss because you're setting precedent that you'd be used against
[12:56] Speaker 1: you forever.
[12:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, exactly right. Yeah, so you know we'll see.
[13:01] Speaker 2: Oh, speaking of are some of our favorite largest we
[13:05] Speaker 2: have Coastus Morris on here all the time. What today
[13:07] Speaker 2: is his birthday? And I saw h a note and
[13:12] Speaker 2: I said, oh, you share a birthday with Sam Colt
[13:17] Speaker 2: and Gaston Glock.
[13:19] Speaker 3: Oh I didn't know.
[13:20] Speaker 1: Those two shared birthday. That's cool.
[13:21] Speaker 2: Yeah, Sam Colt and Gaston Glock two people who changed
[13:26] Speaker 2: the direction and changed the history of firearms development.
[13:29] Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt, and that's something. But the only one
[13:32] Speaker 1: on their part, you would be Browning.
[13:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think if I remember the dates right,
[13:39] Speaker 2: that Glock was born one hundred and fifteen years after
[13:43] Speaker 2: Sam cult was.
[13:45] Speaker 1: So they didn't hang much at conventions.
[13:47] Speaker 3: Probably I didn't do that. Yeah, they talked it well
[13:49] Speaker 3: they do now. Yeah.
[13:51] Speaker 2: Sam Colt said, yeah, that plastic thing that's never going
[13:53] Speaker 2: to have catch up. What are you doing out there.
[13:56] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I love the old saying. You know, they
[13:59] Speaker 2: say God made the men and Sam Cult made him equal.
[14:02] Speaker 3: So there you go.
[14:05] Speaker 2: Well, there are people, it's kind of a side trip here.
[14:11] Speaker 2: There are people who actually still carry a single action
[14:14] Speaker 2: revolver for self defense.
[14:16] Speaker 3: Good, very many good. It would be slow. I mean
[14:22] Speaker 3: it's like, okay, but but if you're.
[14:24] Speaker 1: The stubborn guy or gal, that just has to have
[14:27] Speaker 1: because that's the first gun you ever had, the romance
[14:29] Speaker 1: of it, whatever the reason, and I'm going to carry
[14:31] Speaker 1: that or nothing. It doesn't carry that.
[14:34] Speaker 3: And I do know people who carry him in the
[14:37] Speaker 3: back country.
[14:37] Speaker 2: It's like, okay, I'm gonna have this primarily for critters
[14:41] Speaker 2: and then maybe for people. But like a you know,
[14:43] Speaker 2: forty five cult or a forty four Magnum in a
[14:46] Speaker 2: single action revolver is still mighty good. Bear medicine or
[14:50] Speaker 2: even a four fifty four Cassoule Man. There's not fit
[14:53] Speaker 2: in Wyoming called Freedom Arms, and they make the most
[14:58] Speaker 2: fabulous single action revolver. I mean there they're about two
[15:01] Speaker 2: grand and but entertainment for the four to fifty four
[15:05] Speaker 2: cassole and they're really really accurate and very strong. And
[15:11] Speaker 2: in that cartridge you can then load forty five COLT
[15:16] Speaker 2: and download soft and yep, you can soft it up,
[15:20] Speaker 2: and you with forty five COLT you can get little
[15:22] Speaker 2: uh light loads like for Cowboy action shooting, and that
[15:26] Speaker 2: becomes just like a little pop gun, which the four
[15:30] Speaker 2: fifty four cassole is not. That is a big recording
[15:34] Speaker 2: beast of a revolver.
[15:35] Speaker 1: No doubt. And there's people that carry those.
[15:39] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I mean I have one that
[15:42] Speaker 2: I bought, or actually I was going to use it
[15:45] Speaker 2: for elk hunting, and then after I got it, found
[15:48] Speaker 2: out that the area that I was going to hunt,
[15:51] Speaker 2: which is back behind the cabin here, it's it's private land.
[15:55] Speaker 3: Even though it's private land, it is.
[15:59] Speaker 2: Lined off off as part of the national forest where
[16:03] Speaker 2: you can't hunt, even though it's not national forest. It's
[16:06] Speaker 2: this weird regulation. I didn't know about that until I
[16:09] Speaker 2: bought a revolver because I was going to use it
[16:11] Speaker 2: in the special what they call it short range weapon season.
[16:18] Speaker 1: That's probably the most creative BF story I've ever heard
[16:20] Speaker 1: for buying a revolver to yeah, of course, whatever.
[16:25] Speaker 2: So now I'm going, okay, I'm not gonna hunt with
[16:27] Speaker 2: it here. Where are you gonna do it? I don't know,
[16:29] Speaker 2: because it's like this is very specialized. When you got
[16:32] Speaker 2: a six and a half inch barrel beast of a revolver,
[16:35] Speaker 2: and of course I obviously had to get a chest
[16:38] Speaker 2: holster for it, you know, so I've got all the
[16:40] Speaker 2: gear everything ready to go.
[16:42] Speaker 3: So I'm not sure you with lots of gear.
[16:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, shocking, amazing man of many flashlights.
[16:50] Speaker 2: There you go, and turnicuts. By the way, we just
[16:54] Speaker 2: had a horrific accent by that. I'm not going to
[16:56] Speaker 2: get any details on it. But a young woman got
[17:00] Speaker 2: chopped up by a boat on the lake. Yeah, probably
[17:06] Speaker 2: got her and people were able to save her life
[17:09] Speaker 2: with tourniquets on her legs.
[17:10] Speaker 3: Awesome, lost both of legs. They had to be amputated.
[17:14] Speaker 1: But she's alive.
[17:15] Speaker 3: But she's alive. So tourniquets are a big freaking deal.
[17:19] Speaker 1: That's horrible.
[17:21] Speaker 2: It's horrible, and you know, but I'm glad there were
[17:23] Speaker 2: people there that knew what they're doing and had what
[17:25] Speaker 2: they needed. And by the way, people the stopped. The
[17:29] Speaker 2: lead classes are free and they're everywhere and they're usually
[17:32] Speaker 2: about a half day. It's not a big deal. So
[17:36] Speaker 2: if you can possibly sign up, take all the members
[17:38] Speaker 2: of your family. Why would you take your members of
[17:40] Speaker 2: your family? Because they're the ones who are going to
[17:43] Speaker 2: be working on you. You're probably not gonna be working
[17:46] Speaker 2: on you. You might, but more than likely who's gonna
[17:49] Speaker 2: be with you your friends and family, So take them
[17:51] Speaker 2: to the class. I had a Scooba instructor who said, yeah,
[17:54] Speaker 2: he says, make sure that all the members of your
[17:56] Speaker 2: family know how to do CPR, because that's just gonna
[17:59] Speaker 2: be with you to do it on you.
[18:01] Speaker 3: Oh good thought.
[18:03] Speaker 1: Yeah kind of works that way, doesn't it.
[18:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, it does. You've been shooting at all? You've been working.
[18:09] Speaker 3: I haven't.
[18:09] Speaker 1: I've been been doing crazy stuff, helping out mom and traveling.
[18:13] Speaker 1: Been traveling more than shooting. Yep, I must, I must confess.
[18:16] Speaker 1: I'm not real proud of that. But you know where
[18:18] Speaker 1: you prioritized him you could travel and shoot. You're you're
[18:21] Speaker 1: driving right right?
[18:22] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[18:22] Speaker 1: I just saw slowed down a little bigcause of me
[18:24] Speaker 1: and I and I don't have to lead as much.
[18:26] Speaker 2: There you go it as you go slower, you can
[18:28] Speaker 2: reduce the Actually we laughed, but Ryan did a thing.
[18:33] Speaker 2: They were shooting. I think it was Daniel de Fence
[18:37] Speaker 2: and they were in high speed boats shooting ars. Wow,
[18:41] Speaker 2: and they were he was exploring the area of reverse lead,
[18:46] Speaker 2: where you have to aim behind something because because if
[18:51] Speaker 2: you're a forward momentum yes, exactly right, Yes, reverse lead
[18:55] Speaker 2: is actually a real thing.
[18:56] Speaker 1: Is substantial or I mean depends on the speed obviously, yeah.
[19:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly so. But anyway, that's kind of interesting. They
[19:03] Speaker 2: could be, you know, in a safe environment, it would
[19:06] Speaker 2: be fun to explore that.
[19:08] Speaker 1: Right, unless, of course, it's simultaneously happening while there's a
[19:11] Speaker 1: video crew shooting from helicopters at boats on the water.
[19:14] Speaker 2: That would be not the time you want to be
[19:17] Speaker 2: out there, probably not, that's when. And have you seen
[19:21] Speaker 2: the videos that of the US's drone boats. No, oh yeah,
[19:27] Speaker 2: they have got a cool video came out last week.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Three drone boats going into a shipyard in Iran and
[19:36] Speaker 2: all of them blowing up at the same time. They
[19:40] Speaker 2: are boats that are unmanned and they're going in and
[19:44] Speaker 2: they're coordinated. They all get there at the same time.
[19:46] Speaker 2: I'm thinking, drone boat. That'd be a good target, be.
[19:49] Speaker 1: A good band name. We're drone boat.
[19:53] Speaker 3: Drone boat. Oh yeah, right, what kind of music would drone.
[19:57] Speaker 1: Boat playing, probably bagpipe summer comes back.
[20:02] Speaker 3: I thought you said music.
[20:05] Speaker 1: Wrap bagpipes. Oh doublin do my, Oh my god, there
[20:10] Speaker 1: you go.
[20:11] Speaker 3: Well let's see.
[20:12] Speaker 1: Uh.
[20:12] Speaker 2: On the personal front, I am recovering from the back
[20:16] Speaker 2: that went out a week ago. But holy cow, that
[20:18] Speaker 2: thing makes a long time.
[20:20] Speaker 1: Yeah we're talking about that and corneal scratch has got
[20:23] Speaker 1: to be.
[20:24] Speaker 2: So no shooting for me this past week because when
[20:27] Speaker 2: you can't stand up straight, you can't really go shoot.
[20:30] Speaker 2: But we're getting there.
[20:31] Speaker 1: It's going to get there into it like you start
[20:34] Speaker 1: with subsonics and you work your way back up.
[20:37] Speaker 2: Yeah, you get airsoft, you don't go really shoot inside.
[20:41] Speaker 2: I like it's but the other problem with air soft
[20:44] Speaker 2: is that I don't have a cat.
[20:46] Speaker 1: Ah.
[20:47] Speaker 2: Well you gotta have a target. So now I have
[20:52] Speaker 2: irritated half of the listeners out there.
[20:55] Speaker 1: Yeah it's just the cat people. I should say, all
[20:58] Speaker 1: us dog lovers are. Yeah, I see there, that's right,
[21:01] Speaker 1: because dog lovers will then one only wants a count, right, yeah,
[21:05] Speaker 1: but only to ten and then we have to take
[21:07] Speaker 1: our shoes off.
[21:08] Speaker 3: Oh there's that too.
[21:09] Speaker 1: There you go.
[21:10] Speaker 2: Well, look, you have yourself a fabulous week. I appreciate
[21:13] Speaker 2: you and uh you know, as we say, we couldn't
[21:16] Speaker 2: do this without you.
[21:17] Speaker 1: Well we uh we have a good time work and
[21:19] Speaker 1: sometimes I'm thinking, this is my job, this is like
[21:22] Speaker 1: really cool, this is like fun, exactly right. Look what
[21:25] Speaker 1: we get to do. Yep, yep a man, take.
[21:27] Speaker 3: Care of them.
[21:28] Speaker 1: Be safe. We'll catch you next time for the gun
[21:30] Speaker 1: talk after show.
