[1:21] Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you kind of a behind the scenes
[1:23] Speaker 4: is we are hosting a special media event at the
[1:28] Speaker 4: Gun Talk Headquarters Range Ready Studios where we do our classes,
[1:32] Speaker 4: but sometimes we do these special media events that are
[1:35] Speaker 4: really just for the gun industry, and this one is
[1:39] Speaker 4: called Plinka Palooza, all centered around rim fire. So we
[1:43] Speaker 4: have a variety of different sponsors companies within this world,
[1:48] Speaker 4: and also a bunch of media making content, and so
[1:51] Speaker 4: we're gonna have some of those folks on throughout the show,
[1:54] Speaker 4: and we're going to talk about rimfire. We're going to
[1:56] Speaker 4: talk about shotguns and silencers and and guns obviously, and
[2:03] Speaker 4: a lot of other stuff. So welcome in and thanks
[2:05] Speaker 4: for joining us. First up, our first guest is a
[2:07] Speaker 4: man goes by many names, known as Jared Grove by
[2:11] Speaker 4: his mama. But actually your mama calls you box too, right.
[2:15] Speaker 5: And she does gotta change your name. Say one, So everybody.
[2:19] Speaker 4: Yeah, you got one of the coolest nicknames out there,
[2:21] Speaker 4: Lunchbox aka box. You have a nickname for the nickname?
[2:25] Speaker 5: Yeah, shortened it up, you know Spanish.
[2:29] Speaker 6: I think it's alkoha. I don't know.
[2:31] Speaker 5: I'm not fluent, but I've been called that. I assume
[2:34] Speaker 5: that's what that means.
[2:35] Speaker 4: I assume it was complimentary.
[2:36] Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the guy liked me.
[2:40] Speaker 4: So, dude, you've been on the show called Well. Everybody
[2:44] Speaker 4: was called Well, I mean probably what best known for
[2:47] Speaker 4: like shooting bags and like the lead sled.
[2:50] Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly, shooting dress, the lead sleds, Yeah.
[2:53] Speaker 4: I mean all kinds of great shooting accessories. I find
[2:56] Speaker 4: that it seems like to me called Well, you guys
[2:58] Speaker 4: do a really good job of finding that sweet spot
[3:02] Speaker 4: of good products that are super useful and helpful for
[3:06] Speaker 4: for shooters and hunters as well, but you know, at
[3:10] Speaker 4: a price that's like reachable for pretty much everybody.
[3:13] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[3:13] Speaker 5: Yeah, that's always one of the requirements whenever we're getting
[3:18] Speaker 5: into a product that is it at a price that
[3:21] Speaker 5: the somebody's going to actually buy?
[3:23] Speaker 6: You know? Yeah?
[3:24] Speaker 5: Uh so yeah, so that's it's awesome we design around
[3:27] Speaker 5: that type of stuff, and uh, it's part of the
[3:30] Speaker 5: challenge when you when you get into it. But yeah,
[3:33] Speaker 5: it's what's going to making making something that uh, the
[3:37] Speaker 5: price is entirely too high for the average person.
[3:40] Speaker 4: I'm sure that that happens, right when you think about
[3:43] Speaker 4: you design things, and you know, you get an engineer
[3:46] Speaker 4: that engineers the heck out of something, You're like, cool,
[3:49] Speaker 4: how much is it going to cost these people, well
[3:52] Speaker 4: you know this, this, this rest is going to cost
[3:54] Speaker 4: you know, nine hundred dollars, and it's like, well, that's
[3:57] Speaker 4: gonna be a problem. How do we make it one
[4:01] Speaker 4: hundred dollars?
[4:02] Speaker 5: Especially when we bring in UH, a new engineer. Yeah,
[4:05] Speaker 5: that's that's kind of new into that that segment. And
[4:09] Speaker 5: you know, especially if they've worked in UH on stuff
[4:12] Speaker 5: where that wasn't a restraint, it's very interesting to be like, yeah,
[4:16] Speaker 5: that's a cool idea.
[4:18] Speaker 6: That's that's amazing. It's way over built.
[4:20] Speaker 5: It's way and then and then to UH to take
[4:25] Speaker 5: designs and to make them manufacturable is interesting.
[4:28] Speaker 4: These are not government dollars here, no, exactly. You know,
[4:32] Speaker 4: the listeners of gun Talk Radio, this is Joe and
[4:34] Speaker 4: Betty and Jim, and they're going into Walmart or bass
[4:37] Speaker 4: Pro or Shiels and dude, I'm just trying to go
[4:39] Speaker 4: have bass part.
[4:40] Speaker 5: Doesn't want to sell your ten thousand dollars front shooting
[4:43] Speaker 5: rest a right.
[4:45] Speaker 4: But look at it is. Yeah, at weighs six hundred pounds.
[4:48] Speaker 4: So dude, we were talking before and obviously you guys
[4:50] Speaker 4: have gotten big into clay throwers. I mean you kind
[4:53] Speaker 4: of been in that world for a while, but really
[4:55] Speaker 4: some really brand new cool stuff that you've been doing,
[4:58] Speaker 4: the clay more game changer type stuff. You got the
[5:02] Speaker 4: clay copter. But you're not just a product manager guy.
[5:08] Speaker 4: You were a collegiate shooter.
[5:10] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[5:10] Speaker 5: I shot for the University of Missouri for probably one
[5:14] Speaker 5: too many years.
[5:15] Speaker 6: Correct.
[5:16] Speaker 4: A lot of people go to college for six years
[5:18] Speaker 4: box they're called doctors.
[5:19] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[5:20] Speaker 5: I just got that one piece of paper, and I
[5:22] Speaker 5: was glad to get it, you know, but you know
[5:25] Speaker 5: it it really Yeah, I grew up shooting youth shooting
[5:29] Speaker 5: sports and went to college and it was something kind
[5:34] Speaker 5: of kept me in school, honestly, and then the contacts
[5:39] Speaker 5: of stuff from that literally, like that's why I'm in
[5:43] Speaker 5: the industry.
[5:45] Speaker 4: Talk about that, because we talked about this on on
[5:48] Speaker 4: gun Talk radio from time to time, Like, yeah, you
[5:51] Speaker 4: can actually get scholarships in shooting. You can, or you
[5:55] Speaker 4: can at least, you know, be on a club team
[5:58] Speaker 4: or whatever. How did you get onto a college team
[6:02] Speaker 4: And what was that like being on a college team.
[6:04] Speaker 4: I know it's it's been a couple of years, but like,
[6:07] Speaker 4: what was that.
[6:07] Speaker 5: So there's a couple of ways if you're if you're
[6:09] Speaker 5: good enough and you really wanted, you know, pursue it.
[6:16] Speaker 5: You can get a a scholarship. It's really becoming way
[6:21] Speaker 5: more popular today than it was in the early two thousands.
[6:27] Speaker 5: Early two thousands, there was a few schools offering that
[6:30] Speaker 5: that were really going after those national championships and stuff,
[6:33] Speaker 5: but most of it was a club uh.
[6:35] Speaker 6: And that's what we had.
[6:36] Speaker 5: At University Missouri was a club team. So the way
[6:42] Speaker 5: I got into that was literally I shot all the
[6:46] Speaker 5: way through high school, shot registered trap. My father, Edward,
[6:52] Speaker 5: and my mother would take us around, me and my
[6:53] Speaker 5: brother and travel all over and shoot trap. And it
[6:57] Speaker 5: kind of got to graduation it was like, I'm not
[7:00] Speaker 5: ready to stop shooting. And I was like there, like, oh, well,
[7:04] Speaker 5: MISSOO has a shooting team. I was like, oh, go
[7:08] Speaker 5: check that out. And that was interesting being a freshman
[7:12] Speaker 5: in the dorms and figuring out how to to move
[7:17] Speaker 5: the firearms around.
[7:18] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[7:19] Speaker 5: Yeah, guys like, oh, don't worry, just leave it at
[7:21] Speaker 5: my house. Yeah, you're a complete stranger.
[7:24] Speaker 4: Unfortunately, you were somewhat of a local boy, right your friends.
[7:28] Speaker 4: I know, I know somebody who's on a I don't
[7:31] Speaker 4: want to call out who it is. But sponsored pro
[7:35] Speaker 4: shooter in college right now, and a lot of colleges
[7:41] Speaker 4: they'll say for your freshman year, you have to live
[7:43] Speaker 4: on campus. Yes, and it's like, but I'm a pro shooter,
[7:46] Speaker 4: Like this is my other job. And she actually got
[7:52] Speaker 4: like a waiver to be able to live off campus
[7:55] Speaker 4: because of the guns. Like, hey, look, I'll stay in
[7:58] Speaker 4: your dorm, but I'm going to be carrying around on
[8:00] Speaker 4: you know, some pelican cases with things in them. I
[8:03] Speaker 4: don't think you want that. Well, you guys did some traveling.
[8:07] Speaker 5: Uh, we traveled quite a bit, which was was interesting
[8:14] Speaker 5: times for us.
[8:14] Speaker 6: Like say, we we were a club.
[8:16] Speaker 5: Team, so we didn't have charter buses and all that.
[8:18] Speaker 4: Like, let's be honest, you guys were the bad news bears.
[8:21] Speaker 6: We were.
[8:21] Speaker 5: We had some very talented, very talented shooters on our
[8:25] Speaker 5: team that would put us usually in the top three
[8:28] Speaker 5: in the nation for against teams given full right scholarships
[8:32] Speaker 5: at the time, which was was was really fun and
[8:34] Speaker 5: and honestly, like I knew a lot of the guys
[8:36] Speaker 5: and girls on on those teams too. Uh you know
[8:41] Speaker 5: that's great, but yeah, we would show up as we.
[8:43] Speaker 6: Didn't have uniforms or it's that all matched. You know,
[8:47] Speaker 6: you have a big deal.
[8:48] Speaker 4: When we got those, you had budget for shells and beverages.
[8:52] Speaker 6: Is that yeah, it was.
[8:53] Speaker 5: That was I remember several times like if we were
[8:56] Speaker 5: going to for example, like Colorado or Perdue was some
[8:59] Speaker 5: of the bigger ones, and we had friends that that
[9:01] Speaker 5: shot there obviously, and doing a college budget, I should
[9:06] Speaker 5: have documented you just it'd be funny like you had like, Okay,
[9:10] Speaker 5: it takes this amount of dollars in gas and now,
[9:13] Speaker 5: and it wasn't like you had an extra five bucks
[9:15] Speaker 5: just in case.
[9:16] Speaker 6: Like it was. It was to the it was tight.
[9:21] Speaker 8: Much.
[9:21] Speaker 6: Yeah, well we'll get.
[9:22] Speaker 5: This much bologna and this much white bread and that's
[9:25] Speaker 5: what we will eat. Uh. And then there was a
[9:30] Speaker 5: rather large beverage budget. Yeah for athletes, Yeah exactly. So yeah,
[9:37] Speaker 5: it was Uh it was probably not the number one
[9:39] Speaker 5: the number two expense on your budget. And just travel
[9:43] Speaker 5: and then like crashing and uh and people's duplexus and
[9:49] Speaker 5: stuff that were on the other team. You know, just
[9:52] Speaker 5: just make it work. Just make way too big of
[9:55] Speaker 5: a guy to be sharing twin beds with.
[9:58] Speaker 4: With other Hey, college, there's a time and place for
[10:01] Speaker 4: everything of college. So box obviously you know, I said,
[10:06] Speaker 4: you guys have gotten to the clays. And that's why
[10:08] Speaker 4: I wanted to bring it up, is because I know
[10:11] Speaker 4: you're you're personally very excited about what you guys have
[10:15] Speaker 4: been doing on these clay throwers. And I'm gonna call
[10:17] Speaker 4: it clay throwers, and we're gonna get into really what
[10:19] Speaker 4: they really are, because what Caldwell is doing is really
[10:25] Speaker 4: a game changer. And that word gets thrown around too much, probably,
[10:29] Speaker 4: but it's truly something you new and unique that makes
[10:34] Speaker 4: it even more challenging, it makes it even more fun.
[10:37] Speaker 4: And we're gonna talk about all that right after this break.
[10:42] Speaker 9: When it comes to carry guns, size matters, but so
[10:45] Speaker 9: does performance. The Smith and Wesson Buddyguard two point zero
[10:49] Speaker 9: delivers both. It's slim, ergonomic, and built to handle recoil

[13:20] Speaker 4: Right, Welcome back to gun Talk Radio and your guest
[13:22] Speaker 4: host Ryan Gresham filling in for Tom today. And with
[13:26] Speaker 4: us we've got Jared Grovebox from Caldwell and we were
[13:30] Speaker 4: talking before the break about you know, you you grew
[13:33] Speaker 4: up shooting Clay's collegiate shooter, but you've been at cald
[13:37] Speaker 4: War for a while. I know we've talked about it,
[13:39] Speaker 4: but I wanted to set it up because I keep
[13:42] Speaker 4: calling it clay throwers, but I don't even know if
[13:44] Speaker 4: that's the right thing to call it, which you guys
[13:46] Speaker 4: have introduced.
[13:47] Speaker 5: You're referring to our new product called the Clay Copter. Yeah,
[13:53] Speaker 5: the best, I guess easiest way to refer to it
[13:56] Speaker 5: as a clay thrower, but we completely redid the target
[14:00] Speaker 5: right like that was clay pigeons are over one hundred
[14:04] Speaker 5: and fifty years old like that, that's been design's been
[14:06] Speaker 5: around a long time, you know, and before that was
[14:10] Speaker 5: replacing glass balls and uh, live birds, you know of
[14:16] Speaker 5: all things.
[14:16] Speaker 6: So it was time for.
[14:19] Speaker 5: Change and kind of like we were mentioned, like we
[14:22] Speaker 5: got to look at it, like there's got to be
[14:23] Speaker 5: a better way. The targets clay pigeons are getting pretty pricey.
[14:30] Speaker 5: The consumer wouldn't know it, but the dealer margins and
[14:33] Speaker 5: stuff on that are really tight, Like it's almost a
[14:37] Speaker 5: lost leader where they're trying to get you into the
[14:39] Speaker 5: store to Buyammo or something else to make some money
[14:41] Speaker 5: on it. So shipping isn't a thing like you can't
[14:45] Speaker 5: Amazon ship clay pigeons.
[14:47] Speaker 6: You wouldn't.
[14:48] Speaker 5: You'd have a just mess when you got it there.
[14:51] Speaker 5: So we kind of started looking at that and there's
[14:53] Speaker 5: been there's been attempts at other targets and stuff and
[14:57] Speaker 5: target systems and it comes back. It's just as we
[15:02] Speaker 5: were mentioned, the engineering and stuff like that, you had
[15:04] Speaker 5: to add and say, hey, this is a consumable product.
[15:07] Speaker 5: You have to keep it reasonable and we would like
[15:11] Speaker 5: it to do all this. The launcher, you know, like
[15:15] Speaker 5: it has to be reasonable, it has to be manufacturable,
[15:19] Speaker 5: you know, and that comes down to an amazing engineering
[15:22] Speaker 5: team to take care of that. And it's it's wild
[15:25] Speaker 5: to see where they pull inspiration from. Like the first
[15:28] Speaker 5: one we showed the clay captures, there are those spinning
[15:30] Speaker 5: discs and everybody was like, oh, it's like a.
[15:33] Speaker 6: Kid's toy the pull.
[15:36] Speaker 5: Yeah, and shockingly, uh, not too far off. Like when
[15:43] Speaker 5: we were sitting and looking at a way to have
[15:46] Speaker 5: a hub on a thrower to that would spin a
[15:49] Speaker 5: motor obviously to spin this thing, but then you had
[15:52] Speaker 5: to make it stop and push a target off so
[15:55] Speaker 5: that it would propel. The guy was like, you know
[15:59] Speaker 5: those kids toys have those like ramped things, Like yeah,
[16:03] Speaker 5: and it's like basically pulling and launch. So you can see,
[16:08] Speaker 5: like a great engineer can see there and go, could
[16:11] Speaker 5: I use a bunch of servos and electronics and make
[16:13] Speaker 5: this very intricate.
[16:16] Speaker 6: Thousand dollars?
[16:17] Speaker 5: They could, but they're like, why when we can simplify
[16:21] Speaker 5: it and do that and make it and so yeah, everybody,
[16:23] Speaker 5: I don't know if it's just if they think if
[16:27] Speaker 5: it's funny or meant to be an insult, but it's
[16:29] Speaker 5: definitely not. If you say it looks like a kid's toy,
[16:32] Speaker 5: you're like, yeah, because it's a very effective design.
[16:35] Speaker 6: It works very good.
[16:37] Speaker 5: And going back to like what looked like successful that,
[16:41] Speaker 5: I said, it has to be affordable, and we have
[16:43] Speaker 5: to have it in wide distribution, like you have to
[16:45] Speaker 5: have consumable targets. If I'm shooting these targets, I have
[16:50] Speaker 5: to be able to go to where I buy my
[16:53] Speaker 5: traditional clay targets right and get them. So luckily, all
[16:58] Speaker 5: those dominoes fell right like they were supposed to. The
[17:01] Speaker 5: product was developed and designed by an amazing engineering team
[17:05] Speaker 5: that kept within those for those boundaries, and then we
[17:10] Speaker 5: got our buyers and retailers online on board with it.
[17:14] Speaker 5: They were excited about it. And you know, like I say,
[17:17] Speaker 5: I can't sit there and say it's a you know,
[17:22] Speaker 5: completely original, like there's been zz.
[17:24] Speaker 4: Bird and healing. It's pretty original, man, They don't sort.
[17:29] Speaker 4: So the clay Copter.
[17:30] Speaker 5: Was the first version of this, right, the handheld.
[17:34] Speaker 4: Held clay copter, And if you haven't seen it, it
[17:37] Speaker 4: is it's handheld it's battery powered. It launches these discs
[17:42] Speaker 4: that it's I mean, it's back. So it's then it
[17:44] Speaker 4: launches the disc out and I mean we've done it.
[17:47] Speaker 4: I mean you're throwing discs. I don't know, seventy to one.
[17:50] Speaker 5: Hundred yards, yea, one hundred yards. Pretty amazing is the
[17:53] Speaker 5: on the max speed about fifteen thousand RPMs.
[17:56] Speaker 4: But there's a new version. There's some new versions that
[17:58] Speaker 4: you guys have come out with.
[17:59] Speaker 6: Yeah, So.
[18:02] Speaker 5: We launched that at Shot Show in twenty twenty five,
[18:05] Speaker 5: the handheld and two targets, and instantly had a lot
[18:11] Speaker 5: of feedback of Wow, this is really cool. It would
[18:15] Speaker 5: be really cool if it would do other stuff. I
[18:19] Speaker 5: cold fifty targets. Okay, it'd be really cool. It's really cool.
[18:25] Speaker 5: I don't know if I want to spend two hundred
[18:26] Speaker 5: dollars on it. You're like, okay, I get that. It's
[18:28] Speaker 5: it's new. You haven't shot, and you haven't experienced. I
[18:31] Speaker 5: can see that. So we need to figure out a
[18:34] Speaker 5: way to make more of an entry price point, perhaps,
[18:39] Speaker 5: And so I kind of had that all laid out,
[18:44] Speaker 5: kind of anticipating that would be some of the feedback,
[18:47] Speaker 5: not knowing it would be so so.
[18:51] Speaker 6: Well received, and.
[18:53] Speaker 5: Lots of lots of too many of them, lots lots
[18:55] Speaker 5: of lots of comments, like literally reading all the comments
[18:59] Speaker 5: on all the social posts and YouTube videos and all that,
[19:03] Speaker 5: and it was like, yeah, just a lot of common themes.
[19:06] Speaker 5: And our executive team, like I said, I had like
[19:08] Speaker 5: a three to five year plan to develop some products
[19:13] Speaker 5: and you know, give the whole marketing guy, you know,
[19:15] Speaker 5: sandbag a little bit so I can take my time
[19:18] Speaker 5: of releasing this new concept of a shotgun target. And
[19:23] Speaker 5: we got back from shot showing the execs said we're
[19:26] Speaker 5: going to do all of it right now, and it's like, okay, cool,
[19:29] Speaker 5: and we'll release it over the next couple of years.
[19:32] Speaker 6: Like we're going to release it shot Show twenty six. Yeah.
[19:34] Speaker 5: So it's like that's that is aggressive and along with
[19:38] Speaker 5: it's not like that's the only thing we do.
[19:40] Speaker 6: There's a lot of other stuff.
[19:42] Speaker 5: Iron's already in the fire, a battery operated traditional clay thrower,
[19:48] Speaker 5: clay more connect was was in the work. So I'm like, guy,
[19:51] Speaker 5: it's like that's that's a lot of engineering. So we
[19:55] Speaker 5: and uh, well, as of right now, the new surface
[20:01] Speaker 5: to air launcher, the one that holds fifty targets has
[20:05] Speaker 5: a really cool interactive app feature to where you can
[20:08] Speaker 5: control aim and do all that.
[20:12] Speaker 4: That's I mean, it's not just throwing the same target
[20:15] Speaker 4: in the same direction every time. And what we're talking
[20:17] Speaker 4: about is I mean, it's I don't know if you'd
[20:19] Speaker 4: call it a wabble trap sort of favor. You can
[20:23] Speaker 4: control it with apps, so you can you can mess
[20:26] Speaker 4: with your buddy, you can challenge each other, and it's
[20:29] Speaker 4: not the same target every time.
[20:31] Speaker 5: Nope, it you have that really cool We call it
[20:35] Speaker 5: Touch to Launch interaction, uh, interactive launching. In the app,
[20:39] Speaker 5: you can compare up to ten of them. I mean,
[20:41] Speaker 5: you're really building your own little sporting place course on
[20:45] Speaker 5: your farm if you want. Buddies can each get one
[20:49] Speaker 5: and then you can get together and pair them all
[20:51] Speaker 5: up or whatever. It run's on the same battery as
[20:56] Speaker 5: the handheld one, which was really cool. We had a
[20:58] Speaker 5: lot of compliments on the original, like this is so portable.
[21:02] Speaker 6: I don't have to take this big.
[21:06] Speaker 5: Thrower loaded in the car or the truck, or I
[21:08] Speaker 5: don't have to get a giant car battery. It's a
[21:12] Speaker 5: it's a little lithium ion battery. That you know, weighs
[21:17] Speaker 5: ounces and.
[21:19] Speaker 4: The click I said you could you could keep that
[21:21] Speaker 4: thing on your kitchen table. Yeah, if you had a
[21:23] Speaker 4: if you had a back forty or something. Yeah, it's
[21:26] Speaker 4: just nothing.
[21:27] Speaker 5: The surface to air weighs ten pounds, so it's like
[21:30] Speaker 5: it is a little bit bigger because of the magazine
[21:33] Speaker 5: and stuff that goes onto it. But we have a
[21:34] Speaker 5: molded case for it that ten pounds. You can just
[21:37] Speaker 5: take it anywhere.
[21:37] Speaker 6: It's it's an.
[21:38] Speaker 5: Amazing how the portability innovation, like the innovation that we
[21:42] Speaker 5: brought in not just the target and the power source,
[21:46] Speaker 5: but then we're like, hey, you know, let's answer this
[21:48] Speaker 5: portability issue. This this stuff like you know, sometimes if
[21:52] Speaker 5: it becomes too big of a chore, then people just
[21:54] Speaker 5: won't go to the range, Like I don't want to
[21:55] Speaker 5: even dig that thrower out and dig the battery out
[21:59] Speaker 5: or hook ables up and try to It's just.
[22:01] Speaker 4: It's such a new, a good way of doing it.
[22:05] Speaker 4: As we wrap this up box, what's the one thing
[22:07] Speaker 4: that people say when they shoot this.
[22:10] Speaker 5: Usually they're laughing or they go wow that that they're
[22:15] Speaker 5: really impressed with the speed that you can get a
[22:18] Speaker 5: target to go.
[22:19] Speaker 6: In the distance.
[22:19] Speaker 5: Challenging and yeah, and the way that they move in
[22:22] Speaker 5: the wind not just a straight it's.
[22:24] Speaker 4: Like game changer. Throwers from Caldwell will be right back
[22:29] Speaker 4: with more gun Talks. Hey, welcome back to gun Talk.
[22:53] Speaker 4: I'm your host, Ryan Gresham Thomas on the road and
[22:57] Speaker 4: we are recording this from the gun Talk headquarters here
[23:00] Speaker 4: in Louisiana range Ready Studios And you know, we do
[23:03] Speaker 4: run events and classes and stuff like that, and if
[23:06] Speaker 4: you're interested in learning more about what we do at
[23:09] Speaker 4: range Ready, go to rangereadystudios dot com sign up for
[23:13] Speaker 4: the email list. We don't do a lot of classes,
[23:15] Speaker 4: but we do special classes each year and the people
[23:18] Speaker 4: who are on the email list are the first ones
[23:21] Speaker 4: to find out about those classes and they do fill up,
[23:23] Speaker 4: they do sell out. So if you want to come
[23:25] Speaker 4: down and just training with us, that's a good way
[23:27] Speaker 4: to find out about what's going on here and be
[23:29] Speaker 4: the first ones to find out. So right now at
[23:31] Speaker 4: this at our place, we're running this event called Plinkapalooza
[23:35] Speaker 4: and it's a media event centered around remfires. So we
[23:38] Speaker 4: have some of the big names in rimfires here at
[23:42] Speaker 4: our place with a bunch of media making videos and
[23:45] Speaker 4: writing articles and all that stuff. And of course one
[23:47] Speaker 4: of the names that you think of when you think
[23:49] Speaker 4: of rimfires as Smith and Wesson. So we've got the
[23:51] Speaker 4: guys from Smith and Wesson here, David Miguel, Welcome in man,
[23:55] Speaker 4: Thanks for having us. Thanks so you guys. I mean,
[23:59] Speaker 4: when you think of twenty two's when I think of
[24:02] Speaker 4: twenty two. As for Smith and Weston, I'll tell you
[24:04] Speaker 4: what I think of. I think the first two things
[24:06] Speaker 4: I think of are your twenty two revolvers, and because
[24:14] Speaker 4: that was something I grew up shooting. It was always
[24:17] Speaker 4: one of those guns that was the ten shot stainless
[24:20] Speaker 4: maybe six inch barrel. I think that was just such
[24:24] Speaker 4: a fun gun to shoot, an easy gun for a
[24:26] Speaker 4: kid to shoot. And then the other one is the
[24:30] Speaker 4: M and P fifteen twenty two. I mean it was
[24:34] Speaker 4: the first that I remember where was like a dedicated
[24:37] Speaker 4: twenty two ar. It wasn't a conversion kit with AA
[24:40] Speaker 4: was back I don't know, fifteen twenty years ago when
[24:42] Speaker 4: you had all that goofy stuff. This ran it felt right.
[24:46] Speaker 4: It had all the right controls on it, and I
[24:50] Speaker 4: mean perfect for putting a little suppressor on it, perfect
[24:53] Speaker 4: for putting a red dot. I had actually like a
[24:55] Speaker 4: two power Mini a COG it's a still on one
[24:58] Speaker 4: I have. It's just the perfect set up. Dave. Why
[25:01] Speaker 4: what is it about twenty twos and Smith and Wesson.
[25:05] Speaker 12: Yes, I mean we have a very vast catalog for
[25:07] Speaker 12: people familiar with our brand, but yeah, with twenty two's
[25:11] Speaker 12: like you said, we have offerings from revolvers to AR platforms, pistols,
[25:18] Speaker 12: but the main thing with with twenty two platforms is
[25:20] Speaker 12: a reliability. So like you said, we have our fifteen
[25:24] Speaker 12: twenty two rifles. You know, we have a plethora of
[25:27] Speaker 12: SKUs available, different color ways, furniture, you know, performance center variants.
[25:32] Speaker 12: But they're really great tools to get into firearms for
[25:37] Speaker 12: you know, folks that are novice or inexperienced, and a
[25:41] Speaker 12: lot of the offerings we have are you know, competitively
[25:44] Speaker 12: priced that you get good value for what you're getting.
[25:47] Speaker 12: So if you're looking for training, you know, you could
[25:50] Speaker 12: always get into an M and P pistol has familiar
[25:53] Speaker 12: controls to our other m MP lines with higher calibers,
[25:57] Speaker 12: so it's a great training platform. It's good for you know,
[26:01] Speaker 12: plink in having fun, even hunting. So we have some
[26:05] Speaker 12: offerings where you can hunt with and then on the
[26:07] Speaker 12: competition side too. So for this week we have a
[26:11] Speaker 12: good variety some of our newer twenty two offerings like
[26:16] Speaker 12: the mm P twenty two X which launched in recent year,
[26:20] Speaker 12: as well as the FPC in twenty two, So those
[26:23] Speaker 12: are some of our newer offerings.
[26:25] Speaker 4: Talking about the FPC, yeah, FBC.
[26:27] Speaker 12: It's a cool little platform. I think we we initially
[26:30] Speaker 12: launched it starting with nine millimeter a couple of years ago,
[26:34] Speaker 12: and we've expanded into ten millimeter, twenty two long rifle
[26:39] Speaker 12: and most recently the five to seven. But it's it's
[26:42] Speaker 12: a neat little platform where it's a it's a car
[26:44] Speaker 12: being but it it folds sideways, which is great because
[26:48] Speaker 12: you can keep your zero which is nice. But also
[26:51] Speaker 12: as in stock magazine storage, you primarily get three magazines
[26:56] Speaker 12: with each FPC, so you get a.
[26:58] Speaker 6: Lot of rounds. Yep.
[27:00] Speaker 12: But yeah, it's great Scott. You know mlock slots, threadd
[27:03] Speaker 12: if you want to throw a presser on it. But yeah,
[27:07] Speaker 12: we're excited to have that available.
[27:08] Speaker 4: It's truly a unique design and it's it's also I'll
[27:13] Speaker 4: say this for really all of the twenty twos and
[27:15] Speaker 4: twenty two is fair to say that they can be
[27:19] Speaker 4: kind of finicky, especially semi auto twenty two's can be
[27:21] Speaker 4: finicky just the shape and size of the cartridge itself.
[27:27] Speaker 4: It's kind of tough as feeding, you know, feeding and stuff.
[27:30] Speaker 4: But I know, I mean, all the Smith and Wesson
[27:34] Speaker 4: semi autos that I've shot, they run great. I mean,
[27:37] Speaker 4: and you run all kinds of everymo through it. It
[27:38] Speaker 4: runs great. Yeah, yeah, I mean it's great, Miguel, you run.
[27:42] Speaker 4: You've been in customer service for Smith Wesson. And I
[27:46] Speaker 4: told you before we started this, I said, every time
[27:48] Speaker 4: I hear about somebody that's been in customer service at
[27:51] Speaker 4: any kind of gun company or am O company or
[27:53] Speaker 4: whatever in our world, I'll go, oh, boy, you have stories,
[27:57] Speaker 4: don't you?
[27:58] Speaker 13: Absolutely for sure.
[27:59] Speaker 4: I mean, look, I'm like, I love guns. I love
[28:03] Speaker 4: to shoot guns. I know better when I have a
[28:06] Speaker 4: screwdriver in my hand, it's a dangerous object. And I'm like,
[28:10] Speaker 4: I can take some pins out and take an upper
[28:12] Speaker 4: off and put it back on. But when we get
[28:14] Speaker 4: into you know, doing some real like hobbyist gunsmithing, that
[28:20] Speaker 4: I take it very slowly, or I call in, you know,
[28:23] Speaker 4: I phonte a friend and try to get help. We'll
[28:26] Speaker 4: be right back with more gun talk.

[31:14] Speaker 4: Hey, welcome back to gun talk. What are some of
[31:16] Speaker 4: the stories that you get from customers when it's like
[31:19] Speaker 4: I can't figure this out or I mean, let's just
[31:23] Speaker 4: be honest here, guns in bags, parts and bags.
[31:26] Speaker 6: Oh easily.
[31:27] Speaker 13: I mean, we always hope that if you find yourself
[31:29] Speaker 13: in that situation, you'll give us a call. Yeah, but
[31:31] Speaker 13: in most cases the consumer has YouTube, and of course
[31:36] Speaker 13: you'll go there and think you can do just about anything.
[31:39] Speaker 13: I can't tell you how many different components have been
[31:42] Speaker 13: added to guns, like JB weld, Oh Boy, epoxies that
[31:46] Speaker 13: I have no idea where they came from, just to
[31:48] Speaker 13: try to fix mistakes that consumers have made. But you know,
[31:51] Speaker 13: we're amazing company with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
[31:55] Speaker 13: But we also know we have to help out and
[31:58] Speaker 13: in a lot of cases we'll go ahead and get
[31:59] Speaker 13: that taken care of, whether it's taking apart, revolver, try
[32:03] Speaker 13: to figure something out or try to modify it in
[32:05] Speaker 13: some way, or are semiato pistols or rifles of course,
[32:09] Speaker 13: you know attachments you can put on these ar platforms
[32:12] Speaker 13: like the fifteen to twenty two. I mean, people can
[32:14] Speaker 13: go crazy and sometimes they don't realize palm or lower
[32:18] Speaker 13: and as they're driving pins and out, they're cracking things
[32:21] Speaker 13: and breaking things. Yeah, cross writing, screws, I mean bags, boxes,
[32:27] Speaker 13: shoe boxes full of parts. I mean we could get
[32:30] Speaker 13: into how people send things and be here for hours,
[32:33] Speaker 13: but yeah, it's entertaining way.
[32:35] Speaker 4: How often do you get you here from a customer
[32:39] Speaker 4: and you think I wish you would have contacted us sooner.
[32:43] Speaker 13: Every day, Yeah, every day we get a few stories
[32:45] Speaker 13: like that, like.
[32:46] Speaker 4: We're here, Yeah, we're ready, we'll take your call.
[32:48] Speaker 6: Happy to take your call, help you out.
[32:51] Speaker 13: One of the coolest stories is getting the guy who
[32:53] Speaker 13: has an issue in quick quite figure it out, and
[32:56] Speaker 13: he lives in an area of rural area and we
[32:59] Speaker 13: help him out. He's like, hey, hold on my work,
[33:02] Speaker 13: walks out the back door, boom off a few rounds.
[33:05] Speaker 6: He's like, that's amazing.
[33:06] Speaker 4: That works. I'm like, yes, right, alad, we'll do it
[33:09] Speaker 4: that way. You know, that's fantastic. Smith and Wesson has
[33:14] Speaker 4: been around since eighteen fifty two. Are there any notable
[33:19] Speaker 4: old guns that have come in.
[33:21] Speaker 13: I've had guns come in from nineteen hundred, it's like
[33:24] Speaker 13: early nineteen o eight, nineteen ten.
[33:27] Speaker 6: We won't touch them.
[33:28] Speaker 4: Yeah, we have a cutoff.
[33:30] Speaker 6: Anything be low nineteen sixty.
[33:32] Speaker 13: We don't want to work on lack of parts and okay,
[33:35] Speaker 13: the finishes are completely different from where they are today.
[33:37] Speaker 13: But yes, I've seen some model threes come in.
[33:40] Speaker 6: Oh my gosh. Yeah, and we'll take a look at him.
[33:43] Speaker 13: Yeah, we'll clean them, maybe lule bum a little bit,
[33:47] Speaker 13: but that's about it as far as we'll go.
[33:49] Speaker 4: Is there any Is there any service if somebody has
[33:52] Speaker 4: an old Smith and Wesson that they want to get
[33:56] Speaker 4: information about, or providence or something like that, Can you
[33:59] Speaker 4: guys provide information about an old gun? You like, I've
[34:01] Speaker 4: got this thing. Here's a serial number.
[34:03] Speaker 13: Absolutely, So we have an immense amount of information, catalogs.
[34:09] Speaker 6: Data sheets.
[34:10] Speaker 13: I could tell you a gun has been manufactured in
[34:13] Speaker 13: eighteen hundreds, No, okaya have serial numbers going back that far.
[34:16] Speaker 6: So yeah, you can give us a call.
[34:17] Speaker 13: My team would be happy to take a take a
[34:19] Speaker 13: look at their sheets see what we could come up with.
[34:21] Speaker 13: But yeah, I mean we're pretty good at dating.
[34:23] Speaker 4: That's very cool because you know, we get it because
[34:25] Speaker 4: if you're the gun guy amongst your group of friends
[34:28] Speaker 4: or co workers, you know, oh, yeah, I've got this
[34:30] Speaker 4: old gun and I think it was this or my
[34:32] Speaker 4: grandpa did this. But that's a good point, Like they
[34:35] Speaker 4: can just reach out to you. I mean, you can
[34:36] Speaker 4: look on the gun and say, yeah, I know it's
[34:38] Speaker 4: a Smith Wesson, but I don't even know what the
[34:40] Speaker 4: story is on this gun.
[34:41] Speaker 13: Give a serial number, we'd be happy to tell you.
[34:43] Speaker 13: In most cases, we can tell you what frame, what
[34:47] Speaker 13: the most practical barrel length, or yeah, how many shots
[34:50] Speaker 13: in the celinder? I mean, we can tell you quite
[34:51] Speaker 13: a bit just based off a serial number.
[34:53] Speaker 4: What about people that say, I have an old gun,
[34:55] Speaker 4: is it safe to shoot? How do you approach that?
[34:58] Speaker 13: That's a really great question that we get a lot of,
[35:00] Speaker 13: and in all honesty, it's a question we'd be happy
[35:03] Speaker 13: to answer. But the only way to do it is
[35:04] Speaker 13: by getting the gun in Yeah, and I was taking
[35:06] Speaker 13: a look at it, yeah, which we would be happy
[35:08] Speaker 13: to do, okay, And we provide shipping labels for the consumer,
[35:11] Speaker 13: and instructions are not to send it in it's really simple.
[35:13] Speaker 13: They'll bring it in our master gunsmence will be happy
[35:15] Speaker 13: to take a look at it, and they'll let you
[35:16] Speaker 13: know whether it's safe to shoot or not.
[35:18] Speaker 4: That's awesome, Dave. You guys launched the Smith west Of Academy,
[35:21] Speaker 4: or I should really kind of say relaunched it. I
[35:24] Speaker 4: know that Smith Weston had an academy for decades up
[35:27] Speaker 4: in Massachusetts, and you guys moved operations to Tennessee. You've
[35:31] Speaker 4: got this beautiful place, you got all this land, and
[35:34] Speaker 4: somebody said, you know what we could do, We could
[35:36] Speaker 4: actually build our own range.
[35:37] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[35:38] Speaker 12: Yeah, we reopened the Smith Weston Academy at our new
[35:41] Speaker 12: headquarters in Tennessee. It originated up in Springfield and it
[35:45] Speaker 12: started out as a law enforcement training center, and then
[35:50] Speaker 12: we had the shooting complex that was opened to the
[35:53] Speaker 12: public up north and that shut down in twenty seventeen.
[35:57] Speaker 12: And then with the move to Tennessee, we had you know,
[36:00] Speaker 12: acres behind the building and decided it was time to
[36:03] Speaker 12: bring it back. So within the past year and a
[36:06] Speaker 12: half we opened the new training facility and it's sitting
[36:11] Speaker 12: on around forty acres. We have three fifty yard pistol ranges,
[36:16] Speaker 12: one hundred by one hundred flex range. We actually have
[36:19] Speaker 12: an outdoor three hundred yard rifle range with baffling and
[36:23] Speaker 12: then a two story shootthouse. So you have real spoiler's
[36:26] Speaker 12: right out out our back door.
[36:27] Speaker 4: Yep. And just to I don't want Dave to gloss
[36:31] Speaker 4: over this. The one hundred one one hundred yards by
[36:34] Speaker 4: one hundred yards almost three sixty is that about almost?
[36:39] Speaker 6: Yeah?
[36:39] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean it's it's a really impressive. It's
[36:43] Speaker 4: a really impressive range. It's cool that you can do there.
[36:45] Speaker 4: Talk about the guy who runs the range, because coaches
[36:49] Speaker 4: is a different cat.
[36:50] Speaker 12: Yeah, we're real lucky to partner up with Marco Ciolo,
[36:54] Speaker 12: former Seal Team six guy a lot of years serving
[36:58] Speaker 12: this country. And yeah, actually ran the BUDGS training for
[37:02] Speaker 12: years and I think he's pushed through over four thousand
[37:05] Speaker 12: candidates in his training.
[37:07] Speaker 4: Four thousand seals how to shoot correct and he's running
[37:10] Speaker 4: your place and now now he's with us at Smith
[37:12] Speaker 4: and West.
[37:12] Speaker 12: Yeah, so real lucky to get him. He's a great guy,
[37:15] Speaker 12: very knowledgeable and experienced. And yeah, he's running courses it
[37:19] Speaker 12: is open to the public to take, you know, intro, intermediate,
[37:24] Speaker 12: and advanced pistol courses car being it's all based around
[37:28] Speaker 12: self defense. But yeah, that's open to the public now
[37:32] Speaker 12: and and courses are available online to sign up. And
[37:35] Speaker 12: outside of the public side of things, we do offer
[37:41] Speaker 12: training to our professional partners as well, so local law
[37:44] Speaker 12: enforcement will come in and trained and and it's great
[37:47] Speaker 12: to have that as a resource.
[37:49] Speaker 4: It's awesome, Dave. Besides rim Fire, you guys have brought
[37:52] Speaker 4: out some other new guns this year. What's a couple
[37:54] Speaker 4: of the favorites for you.
[37:56] Speaker 12: I think the steel frame MMPs was one that was
[37:59] Speaker 12: looking forward to. You know, we tried to do our best
[38:01] Speaker 12: to listening to consumers constantly and that was one that
[38:05] Speaker 12: people were asking for. You know, we had the aluminum
[38:08] Speaker 12: frames which were the Metal series, and then we actually
[38:11] Speaker 12: did our first steel frame MVP in the Spec series
[38:14] Speaker 12: a couple of years ago. But this is the first,
[38:17] Speaker 12: you know, standard steel frame MVP that we have. We
[38:21] Speaker 12: also have a competitive version, you know, with all the
[38:23] Speaker 12: bells and whistles, lightning cuts, spiral, food barrel more competition geared.
[38:28] Speaker 12: Those have been real popular and we're excited to have
[38:30] Speaker 12: those available five to seven in the FPC. We recently
[38:35] Speaker 12: launched that shot show once again. That's the the folding
[38:39] Speaker 12: pistol carbing and it's just a fun round to shoot.
[38:43] Speaker 4: The five to seven is a magic little cartridge. I mean,
[38:45] Speaker 4: it's just it's got some nice power to it. It
[38:48] Speaker 4: has kind of almost no recoil, similar to twenty two right.
[38:53] Speaker 4: And and I will say this, some people will say
[38:55] Speaker 4: the five to seven AMO is expensive. I think the
[38:58] Speaker 4: price has come down a little bit on five seven
[39:01] Speaker 4: AM and it's it's more readily available. Smith Wesson, thanks
[39:04] Speaker 4: for being with us, guys. This has been fun here.
[39:06] Speaker 4: I mean Smith and Wesson. You guys know him. You
[39:08] Speaker 4: love them allways. Fun stuff, always great guns that just
[39:12] Speaker 4: run and they're they're one of those guns that you're
[39:14] Speaker 4: gonna pass along the generations and generations listen. If you
[39:17] Speaker 4: love what we're doing at gun Talk, you can go
[39:19] Speaker 4: to gun talk dot com. You can follow us on
[39:21] Speaker 4: all the social platforms Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, x. Of course
[39:26] Speaker 4: we will be right back with more gun talk. Hey,
[39:44] Speaker 4: welcome back to gun Talk. Another group that has come
[39:47] Speaker 4: to this Plinka palooza our Lipsies. Lipsys is actually a
[39:52] Speaker 4: gun distributor who's just down the road from us in Louisiana.
[39:55] Speaker 4: But they're a major gun distributor. I mean, and we've
[39:58] Speaker 4: probably talked about this before on the show, but gun
[40:01] Speaker 4: distributors are that two step distribution. Most of the gun
[40:05] Speaker 4: companies out there do not sell to the gun dealer,
[40:08] Speaker 4: your local gun dealer guy, they boast of them, sell
[40:11] Speaker 4: to a distributor who acts as their warehouse and their
[40:15] Speaker 4: sales team for the thousands and thousands of gun dealers
[40:18] Speaker 4: that are out there. Right So Lipsy's is just down
[40:21] Speaker 4: the road from us, and they do a really nice
[40:23] Speaker 4: job and work with most of the major gun manufacturers
[40:26] Speaker 4: out there. So it's I always love talking to those
[40:29] Speaker 4: guys because they have a finger on the pulse of
[40:33] Speaker 4: everything that's going on. They're talking to every single manufacturer
[40:36] Speaker 4: out there. They're talking to almost every single dealer out there.
[40:40] Speaker 4: I mean we're talking thousands and thousands of dealers, hundreds
[40:43] Speaker 4: of manufacturers. So they kind of see the trends and
[40:46] Speaker 4: sometimes I think they see the trends before everybody else does.
[40:50] Speaker 4: And in a way they're also trend setters because Lipsy's
[40:54] Speaker 4: does these special makeup guns, So they do hundreds of
[40:58] Speaker 4: these these special and if you check them out, it's
[41:00] Speaker 4: Lipsey's guns dot Com is kind of the site for
[41:03] Speaker 4: the consumer side of things where they show off their
[41:05] Speaker 4: their cool, unique things when they're whether working with Sig
[41:09] Speaker 4: Sour or Ruger or Springfield Armory or Glock, things that
[41:12] Speaker 4: Glock weren't wasn't doing. But Lipsy's you know, if you
[41:16] Speaker 4: or I say I got this idea for Glock, Hey,
[41:18] Speaker 4: you know what you should do Glock, well, Block's gonna
[41:21] Speaker 4: be like, yeah, great. But if Lipsy says it, and
[41:24] Speaker 4: Lipsey says and we'll buy one thousand or a five
[41:27] Speaker 4: hundred or two thousand of those to start, then all
[41:30] Speaker 4: of a sudden you have their attention and they'll actually
[41:31] Speaker 4: make some you know, they'll look at the idea. A
[41:36] Speaker 4: couple of the trends that they're seeing right now are interesting.
[41:40] Speaker 4: Straight wall cartridge is surging, and we've seen this for
[41:44] Speaker 4: a few years. I mean, straight wall is not really
[41:46] Speaker 4: a new thing. I mean you think about old school
[41:49] Speaker 4: straight wall forty five seventy four point fifty bush Master,
[41:55] Speaker 4: and then you've got kind of the new evolution of
[41:57] Speaker 4: that three point fifty legend I think four hundred legend,
[42:02] Speaker 4: three sixty buckhammer. Because this all comes from states requiring
[42:08] Speaker 4: straight wall cartridges to be used for hunting, and sometimes
[42:11] Speaker 4: that comes from states that only allowed shotguns for deer hunting.
[42:15] Speaker 4: A lot of times, in more like urban areas with
[42:19] Speaker 4: a lot of neighborhoods and population, they were worried about
[42:23] Speaker 4: rifles and the distance that they can shoot. I mean, obviously,
[42:26] Speaker 4: when you're hunting, you have to make sure you're not
[42:28] Speaker 4: skylining something, and you make sure of your target at
[42:31] Speaker 4: your backstop, even in the woods. But it was kind
[42:35] Speaker 4: of a I think a compromise in some ways where
[42:37] Speaker 4: you're like, Okay, now you can use a straight wall cartridge,
[42:40] Speaker 4: and it's just a little bit different. It's it's not
[42:42] Speaker 4: a full on bottlenecked high velocity magnum, but it's the
[42:46] Speaker 4: popularity of it. They're really fun, you know, you kind
[42:49] Speaker 4: of think of like old school lever actions or break
[42:52] Speaker 4: barrel single shots, but they're even chambering ar chamberings in
[42:56] Speaker 4: three fifty legend super fun. Honestly, the three fifty legend,
[43:01] Speaker 4: the three sixty buck hammer kind of replicates to a
[43:05] Speaker 4: certain degree the performance of a thirty thirty, And probably
[43:08] Speaker 4: anybody listening to this says, oh gosh, yeah, I mean
[43:10] Speaker 4: love thirty thirty. I've killed plenty of deer with thirty thirty.
[43:14] Speaker 4: In probably half of you were saying, the first deer
[43:16] Speaker 4: I killed was with a thirty thirty, and so, I mean,
[43:19] Speaker 4: ballistically very very similar to that. They're also just kind
[43:23] Speaker 4: of the nature of these cartridges. They're fun to suppress
[43:26] Speaker 4: because they're not super high power. People shoot them really well,
[43:30] Speaker 4: and they perform well. I mean, you can hit some
[43:32] Speaker 4: pretty decently heavy bullets with them. One hundred and eighty
[43:35] Speaker 4: grains in a three sixty buck hamber with four lock tipped.
[43:38] Speaker 4: I mean, that's gonna put down big game and anything,
[43:42] Speaker 4: certainly anything east of the Mississippi River. These are really
[43:46] Speaker 4: well suited for it. You're not talking about super long
[43:49] Speaker 4: range shots and stuff like that. So it's always fun
[43:52] Speaker 4: to look at the new cartridges, look at the new trends,
[43:54] Speaker 4: and it's also an opportunity to say, well, maybe I
[43:57] Speaker 4: need to buy another gun, and sometimes a new cartridge
[44:01] Speaker 4: gives you just the excuse you need to get that
[44:03] Speaker 4: new gun. We'll be right back with more guns.
