[0:29] Speaker 3: Hey, welcome back to gun Talk. I'm Tom Greshchev. If
[0:31] Speaker 3: you want to see some of the other things we do,
[0:33] Speaker 3: you can go over to gun talk dot com or
[0:35] Speaker 3: arrange Ready Studios dot com. Actually, just look for gun
[0:40] Speaker 3: Talk to a search anywhere you go for content, whether
[0:43] Speaker 3: it's YouTube or Facebook. Got over on Facebook is crazy.
[0:46] Speaker 3: The the gun Talk Media Facebook page has exploded. We
[0:49] Speaker 3: got like one point six million people following us over
[0:53] Speaker 3: there now. It's amazing. We produce content. We do podcasts
[0:58] Speaker 3: and videos and TV shows and radio shows, and we
[1:01] Speaker 3: have training facility where we teach people to shoot actually
[1:06] Speaker 3: pretty much anything that has to do with guns, as
[1:09] Speaker 3: I have all my life, and then my dad did
[1:11] Speaker 3: before me. I grew up doing this thing. It's kind
[1:14] Speaker 3: of interesting. I just jumped into doing this, never thought about.
[1:22] Speaker 3: I don't even remember making a conscious decision to become
[1:24] Speaker 3: a writer and a photographer. It just I just did
[1:26] Speaker 3: it because I grew up doing it. And then when
[1:28] Speaker 3: I got a chance to do TV, I thought, well,
[1:31] Speaker 3: I probably just thought, you know, what's the big deal.
[1:33] Speaker 3: Anybody can do this. But if my dad can do it,
[1:35] Speaker 3: anybody can do it, right. I mean, he's on ABC TV,
[1:38] Speaker 3: he's on ESPN, he's hosted shows there. I can do that,
[1:42] Speaker 3: sure fight. So I grew up doing this. My dad
[1:46] Speaker 3: was writing about gun rights in the fifties, and so
[1:51] Speaker 3: a lot of what I get by institutional knowledge, I
[1:55] Speaker 3: go all the way back to what I learned from
[1:57] Speaker 3: him and going through his files. He kept things forever.
[2:01] Speaker 3: I have still have articles that were written in the
[2:04] Speaker 3: fifties calling for Americans to turn in their guns, turn
[2:08] Speaker 3: in their handguns. Especially the move back then was to
[2:11] Speaker 3: ban handguns. When that didn't work, they switched to long
[2:14] Speaker 3: guns and ars. That's not going to work. They're going
[2:17] Speaker 3: to go back to that, I guarantee you at some point.
[2:20] Speaker 3: But you know what, you can be a part of this.
[2:21] Speaker 3: Did you want to call right now? Give me a
[2:22] Speaker 3: range report. What have you been shooting? Did you go
[2:24] Speaker 3: out and do a little shooting on Independence Day? Love
[2:26] Speaker 3: to know about that. Eight sixty six Talk Gun or
[2:29] Speaker 3: Tom Talk Guns is the number here. Jeff called in
[2:32] Speaker 3: out of the Grand Oregon. Hey, Jeff, thank you for
[2:35] Speaker 3: your patience. I'm glad you hung in there with us.
[2:37] Speaker 4: You have the floor, that's fine and I love it
[2:41] Speaker 4: every time you have Uncle ted.
[2:42] Speaker 5: On the TV American.
[2:47] Speaker 4: And I'm blind, so I can't drive to the range
[2:50] Speaker 4: as often as i'd like. But this past week my
[2:54] Speaker 4: grandson had a birthday, so I gave him a twenty two.
[2:58] Speaker 4: He wanted to go to the range, so I grabbed
[3:01] Speaker 4: the three new center fire rifles that I picked up
[3:04] Speaker 4: in the last few weeks. And I'm able to shoot
[3:07] Speaker 4: using a stable table and good optics and stuff. Anyway,
[3:12] Speaker 4: I picked up a custom made thirty six by a
[3:16] Speaker 4: well known gun maker in this area, quilted Maplestock eleven
[3:21] Speaker 4: inlays in thirty six wow, And I had a box
[3:26] Speaker 4: of nozzler factory load or not nozzler norma one hundred
[3:32] Speaker 4: and eighty grain factory load bullets and took that out
[3:35] Speaker 4: and shot it, and I was able to get about
[3:38] Speaker 4: an intern a quarter out of it without really doctoring
[3:43] Speaker 4: on it. Then the second rifle fellow owed me money
[3:47] Speaker 4: and brought a Saiko fin Bear over in two seventy.
[3:53] Speaker 4: I had a box of Federal factory load one hundred
[3:56] Speaker 4: and thirty grain and that shot about the same as
[4:00] Speaker 4: the custom rifle, about an inch and a quarter. And
[4:04] Speaker 4: then the third one that I got is a Ruger
[4:09] Speaker 4: American in threeh eight, and I had a box of
[4:13] Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty grain Norma Ammo right, and that
[4:17] Speaker 4: shot seven eighths of an inch. You don't have to
[4:22] Speaker 4: spend a lot of runny.
[4:24] Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say it's crazy. The Ruger American at
[4:27] Speaker 3: whatever it is, five hundred and six hundred bucks is
[4:30] Speaker 3: just stupidly accurate, and it's just easy to get him
[4:34] Speaker 3: to shoot well. I mean, it's really as one of
[4:36] Speaker 3: the best values out there in bull dykes and rifles.
[4:40] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you don't have to spend as much as
[4:43] Speaker 4: the other two rifles are worth. But what a nice
[4:46] Speaker 4: little rifle. But then I wanted to weigh in on
[4:50] Speaker 4: the iconic American gun. Okay, I mean a good case
[4:55] Speaker 4: can be made for nineteen elevens or the lever actions
[4:58] Speaker 4: or a grand But I think the most iconic to me,
[5:03] Speaker 4: even though it's not my favorite rifle, is a pre
[5:06] Speaker 4: sixty four model seventy Winchester.
[5:10] Speaker 3: The riflemen's rifle is the way that Winchester put it
[5:13] Speaker 3: in their ads back in the sixties.
[5:14] Speaker 4: Yeah, So anyway, that's my opinion.
[5:18] Speaker 3: Okay, I like it. I have no problem with that
[5:22] Speaker 3: in Winchester Pre sixty four model seventy Winchester rifle classic
[5:28] Speaker 3: as classic can be. Hey, Mataias is also on the
[5:31] Speaker 3: phone with us out of Fontanna, California.
[5:33] Speaker 4: Hey, Matios, how you doing pretty good?
[5:37] Speaker 6: Happy Americans through fifty to you Tom. There you go, Yeah, sir,
[5:42] Speaker 6: longtime listener, first time caller. You know, being in California,
[5:47] Speaker 6: we've got you know, we've got our fifteens over here,
[5:51] Speaker 6: but we have like compliance issues, right and I bet
[5:54] Speaker 6: you pass the owners are not even compliant. And I'm
[5:58] Speaker 6: wondering what the assault weapon span Scotus case we'll do
[6:03] Speaker 6: for that sort of thing here in California where we
[6:06] Speaker 6: have to be compliant.
[6:09] Speaker 3: For you, Okay, Yeah, let me throw a thought out there. Yeah,
[6:12] Speaker 3: it's a good point. There are people who are saying, yeah,
[6:15] Speaker 3: you know, even if the Supreme Court says you can't
[6:18] Speaker 3: ban air fifteens, then states will put restrictions on them. Okay,
[6:22] Speaker 3: you can have one, but it has to have this
[6:25] Speaker 3: set of features on it or it has to you
[6:30] Speaker 3: know this that. And we still don't know if we're
[6:31] Speaker 3: going to be able to get the magazine capacity ban challenge.
[6:36] Speaker 3: I don't think they're going to include that in this.
[6:38] Speaker 3: And there are other cases, but they have not accepted
[6:41] Speaker 3: one of those. So I think you're right to say, look,
[6:44] Speaker 3: this is positive, but we know how determined California or
[6:49] Speaker 3: California government is in trying to ban these guns, and
[6:52] Speaker 3: they would just come up with another sneaky way to
[6:55] Speaker 3: do it, and then the battle goes on, as we say,
[6:57] Speaker 3: it goes on forever. All right, ready for your range
[6:59] Speaker 3: of for it.
[7:01] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[7:01] Speaker 6: So I'm a member of a private gun club and
[7:05] Speaker 6: that's just the way to go.
[7:07] Speaker 4: You know.
[7:07] Speaker 6: We're on eighty acres and we have like fourteen matches,
[7:11] Speaker 6: and one of the best matches we have is the
[7:14] Speaker 6: night match. And well, I can't emphasize enough that if
[7:19] Speaker 6: you haven't done a night match, then you really haven't
[7:22] Speaker 6: really tested your equipment out. You know, and then we
[7:25] Speaker 6: also have like a wonderful youth sporting session for the
[7:30] Speaker 6: kids that's sponsored by one of the gun shops down here,
[7:34] Speaker 6: where the dad's moms can bring their youth over to
[7:38] Speaker 6: our range and they'll do the NRA marksmanship qualifications, take.
[7:44] Speaker 7: Them through all the four rules of gun safety.
[7:48] Speaker 6: You name it, we do it, you know.
[7:50] Speaker 5: Including cleaning guns.
[7:52] Speaker 8: Who does that anymore?
[7:54] Speaker 3: One of the things, you know, one of the things
[7:57] Speaker 3: that occurs to me is that when you have a
[7:59] Speaker 3: private shooting right change, it depends upon volunteers to make
[8:03] Speaker 3: it run, doesn't it.
[8:05] Speaker 6: Absolutely?
[8:06] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[8:07] Speaker 6: We have a we have a board of directors, we
[8:09] Speaker 6: have many assistants to help it keep it going, wonderful
[8:13] Speaker 6: maintenance staff as well. It's just a well ran machine.
[8:18] Speaker 3: But but it depends upon it requires the commitment of
[8:24] Speaker 3: the members to volunteer to make life better by putting
[8:28] Speaker 3: in time and effort and putting basically part of themselves
[8:32] Speaker 3: into it. I just love the concept our local shooting range.
[8:35] Speaker 3: We have workdays and those types of things like you
[8:39] Speaker 3: got to show up, you got to help. If you
[8:41] Speaker 3: want nice things, you got.
[8:42] Speaker 9: To work for them.
[8:45] Speaker 3: There it is all right, are you what's the by
[8:46] Speaker 3: the way, what's the gunshop there?
[8:49] Speaker 6: Turners Outdoorsmen, great posts, great chain of outdoorsmen stores down
[8:56] Speaker 6: here in southern California and parts of northern California. But
[8:59] Speaker 6: there wonderful They sponsor us for the AMMO and donated
[9:04] Speaker 6: rifles and things like that. It's it's a wonderful program
[9:07] Speaker 6: to keep the you know. That's that's where the future
[9:10] Speaker 6: is of a second Amendment is our.
[9:12] Speaker 3: Youth, absolutely absolutely, well, you know it is our future.
[9:16] Speaker 3: And and back to that point, and if we don't volunteer,
[9:19] Speaker 3: if we're not willing to go do the things ourselves,
[9:22] Speaker 3: if we're waiting for someone else, or the phrase I
[9:25] Speaker 3: hear all the time is well why aren't they doing it?
[9:27] Speaker 3: They should do that. Well, there's no day, there's just us.
[9:30] Speaker 3: And if we're not willing to get off our butts
[9:32] Speaker 3: like well, but I have a job, but I have
[9:34] Speaker 3: I don't have time, but I don't have the money. Yeah,
[9:36] Speaker 3: you know everybody's got butts like that. We got to
[9:38] Speaker 3: get off our butts and get moving here. Thank you
[9:40] Speaker 3: for the call. I appreciate that. All right. I number
[9:42] Speaker 3: here is eighty six six talk gun that will get

[12:44] Speaker 3: posted on X of the nineteen eleven, but with the
[12:49] Speaker 3: hat I had made, I came up with this an
[12:52] Speaker 3: idea of my own MAGA hat and it says make
[12:56] Speaker 3: Americans gunfighters again. People going, where can I get that?
[13:01] Speaker 3: Who's selling those hats? No, I'm not going to sell
[13:03] Speaker 3: the hats. If I did that, I might make money.
[13:05] Speaker 3: Who wants to do that? No? You could have made yourself.
[13:09] Speaker 3: I just go to Amazon now custom print anything you want.
[13:12] Speaker 3: If you want to go. Take a look at the
[13:14] Speaker 3: picture of it over on X. I posted it there.
[13:17] Speaker 3: Uh to find me on X I am at Gun
[13:19] Speaker 3: Talk there. So yeah, but it's fine. I just one
[13:23] Speaker 3: of those warks. Sometimes I get these creative things in
[13:26] Speaker 3: my head and I can't get rid of them, and
[13:27] Speaker 3: so final I just have to go execute it and
[13:29] Speaker 3: make it happen and go do it. And so there
[13:32] Speaker 3: you go. Anyway, number he is eighty six six Talk
[13:35] Speaker 3: Gun Give you a call. Kurt did that. He's in Watertown,
[13:39] Speaker 3: South Dakota. Hey, Kurt, thank you for your patience. What's
[13:41] Speaker 3: on your mind, sir.
[13:43] Speaker 7: Hi Tom. I've got a couple of candidates for iconic guns.
[13:48] Speaker 3: Great.
[13:50] Speaker 7: The first one would be a twelve gage single shot
[13:54] Speaker 7: shot gun. I don't think anybody's grandfather didn't have.
[14:02] Speaker 3: Yeah, and usually had like a thirty two inch barrel
[14:05] Speaker 3: at least.
[14:06] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[14:06] Speaker 7: Yeah, and they were cheap and anybody could afford one.
[14:09] Speaker 3: Right.
[14:11] Speaker 7: And now my other candidate is the dzy B begun.
[14:16] Speaker 3: Oh, I had not thought of that. I mean, I'm
[14:20] Speaker 3: gonna go even further and drill down and say the
[14:22] Speaker 3: Red Rider.
[14:24] Speaker 7: The Red Rider. I never had a Red Rider, but
[14:27] Speaker 7: I had a Cup.
[14:28] Speaker 3: You had a cup and I had to model twenty five.
[14:31] Speaker 3: That was a pump action that had the little scissor
[14:34] Speaker 3: arm thing, And when you're really small and young, you
[14:38] Speaker 3: can't get your arm your hand all the way out
[14:41] Speaker 3: to the handle on the forearm. You try to hold
[14:43] Speaker 3: it about midway out and that thing would pinch you. Man,
[14:47] Speaker 3: you would get a blood blister on your hand. Wow.
[14:51] Speaker 3: I remember my uncle had one of those.
[14:53] Speaker 7: They used to have to set the butt on the
[14:55] Speaker 7: ground and push it down with both hands at all.
[14:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yeah, you were small when you were doing that.
[15:01] Speaker 3: Weren't you, Yes, I was. I loved the idea of
[15:06] Speaker 3: a BB gun. Maybe even we were just like I say,
[15:08] Speaker 3: we may even just say the Red Rider as one
[15:11] Speaker 3: of America's iconic guns, not a firearm according to ATF.
[15:16] Speaker 3: But we will widen our net will take in the
[15:20] Speaker 3: baby guns. Great idea. I appreciate it, Kurt, thank you
[15:23] Speaker 3: for the call. Let's drop down to grab Glenn on
[15:27] Speaker 3: line two out of Kansas. Hey, Glenn, you're on gun Talk.
[15:30] Speaker 3: What's up?
[15:31] Speaker 9: Oh?
[15:31] Speaker 14: I wanted to talk about an iconic American firearm, and
[15:35] Speaker 14: I got to tell you just a brief story.
[15:37] Speaker 3: Sure.
[15:38] Speaker 14: When I was sixteen in nineteen seventy you got my
[15:41] Speaker 14: first job working at the gap station up fifteen hours
[15:45] Speaker 14: and I took my first two each wages and went
[15:48] Speaker 14: and bought a Rimington seven hundred in a two forty three,
[15:53] Speaker 14: and I had to borrow like thirty fine dollars from
[15:55] Speaker 14: my dad a scope on it.
[15:58] Speaker 3: Oh man, oh man, do you do you still have it?
[16:02] Speaker 15: Bill?
[16:03] Speaker 14: Of course, got it. That's going to go to grandson.
[16:05] Speaker 14: And Bill still shoots great. I got it out last
[16:09] Speaker 14: year and I was going to do some handloads, and
[16:12] Speaker 14: I bought a box of just playing Federal two forty
[16:15] Speaker 14: three hundred greens and I shot about point sixty five
[16:21] Speaker 14: was the center of the third group on those. And
[16:24] Speaker 14: so I don't think I'll do any handload and if
[16:26] Speaker 14: I I I can shoot anyway.
[16:30] Speaker 3: There is something about the Remnton seven hundred. It always
[16:35] Speaker 3: was accurate. I know people love the Winchester Model seventy
[16:39] Speaker 3: and that's a great classic gun. But the seven hundreds,
[16:42] Speaker 3: in my experience, always outshot the Winchesters.
[16:46] Speaker 8: That's been my experience also.
[16:48] Speaker 14: And I think the three sixty Four's are fine, but
[16:53] Speaker 14: the later model winchester just don't shoot as.
[16:56] Speaker 16: Good as the old ones. In my opinion.
[17:00] Speaker 14: My Remington's always shoot good. And I've just had great
[17:03] Speaker 14: luck Whistle and I don't know. I don't think you
[17:06] Speaker 14: can get you more iconic than that.
[17:09] Speaker 3: That's a good recommendation. I like the Remidons seven hundred
[17:12] Speaker 3: is not a bad choice. The two forty three is
[17:13] Speaker 3: a great caliber. So there you go. Good idea. Thanks Glen,
[17:16] Speaker 3: appreciate it. Yeah, we got time. We'll get Joe out
[17:20] Speaker 3: of Erie, Kansas online one. Hey Joe, what's your talk about?
[17:27] Speaker 9: Yes, I remember Dad bought me a red, brighter new
[17:30] Speaker 9: in nineteen seventy five approximately. My uncle gave us our
[17:36] Speaker 9: favorite shotgun about nineteen early nineteen seventeen, our seventies. It
[17:41] Speaker 9: was Remington long long barrel pump. First gun that ever
[17:47] Speaker 9: knocked me down.
[17:48] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, all.
[17:53] Speaker 9: Right, two iconic, two iconic guns right there, right right now.
[18:00] Speaker 9: That same uncle gave me my first guitar exactly fifty
[18:06] Speaker 9: years ago, right at the fan after the family union.
[18:09] Speaker 9: And I still got that guitar.
[18:11] Speaker 3: What is it? What kind of guitar.
[18:14] Speaker 9: It's a very rare one. It'll be ninety years old
[18:17] Speaker 9: next year.
[18:18] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I guess so. Yeah, amazing. Do you
[18:21] Speaker 3: still play?
[18:23] Speaker 5: Oh?
[18:23] Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, good, Yeah, I still play?
[18:27] Speaker 3: All right. You want to talk about that, yeah, And
[18:29] Speaker 3: I know you want to talk about the idea of
[18:31] Speaker 3: not carrying because it's safe where you are.
[18:36] Speaker 9: Yes, you're right about that. Just because it's safe where
[18:39] Speaker 9: you're at, in a nice town or a county whatever,
[18:41] Speaker 9: as soon as you go into the other county, it's
[18:44] Speaker 9: a crime waiting to happen either direction from me.
[18:48] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a short drive to crazy and dangerous, which,
[18:52] Speaker 3: by the way, means that it's also a short drive
[18:55] Speaker 3: for crazy and dangerous to get to you wherever you are.
[18:59] Speaker 9: Absolutely you got to be preferred for that.
[19:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, pants on gun all. That's the way I operate,
[19:05] Speaker 3: pants on gun on every day. Thank you for the call, sir.
[19:09] Speaker 3: I do want to do this. I'm gonna take a
[19:10] Speaker 3: couple of minutes personal privilege here, if you will. Fourth
[19:13] Speaker 3: of July Independence Day we had a party. Actually we
[19:16] Speaker 3: did it on the third because I figured everybody'd be
[19:18] Speaker 3: busy on the fourth, so we invited a bunch of
[19:21] Speaker 3: neighbors over. We had probably forty five people on a
[19:24] Speaker 3: cookout on our deck, and we had burgers and brots
[19:27] Speaker 3: and dogs going. And I'm looking out the window right
[19:30] Speaker 3: now at the deck it's three four flags, three of
[19:36] Speaker 3: the red, white and blueloo buntings and then a dozen
[19:38] Speaker 3: of the small American flags. We had flags everywhere. So
[19:43] Speaker 3: we do all the prep. But everybody's you know, having
[19:45] Speaker 3: a good time and enjoying their beverages and all. And
[19:47] Speaker 3: then we put the food out and my wife calls
[19:49] Speaker 3: everybody to attention, just said welcomes them all. And I said,
[19:52] Speaker 3: all right, as long as we're stopped here, if you
[19:55] Speaker 3: would please stand up, take off your hats and on
[19:58] Speaker 3: our speaker system that was playing out there. I played
[20:00] Speaker 3: the national anthem, and everybody there stood with their hats off,
[20:05] Speaker 3: the hens over their hearts, and sang along to the
[20:10] Speaker 3: national anthem out on the deck to celebrate America's two
[20:15] Speaker 3: hundred and fiftieth birthday. I love my neighbors. I love
[20:21] Speaker 3: my country. I often tear up when the national anthem
[20:25] Speaker 3: is played, and I don't I can't really explain that emotion.
[20:32] Speaker 3: It's just what I have. It just means a lot
[20:36] Speaker 3: to me. And it took a lot to form the country.
[20:42] Speaker 3: It takes a lot to keep the country, and we
[20:48] Speaker 3: have to I think all of us remind each of
[20:52] Speaker 3: us of the need to stay engaged, to be involved,
[20:58] Speaker 3: to commit to voting. We have mid terms coming up.
[21:02] Speaker 3: If we don't vote, it's going to be catastrophic. I
[21:06] Speaker 3: mean really truly catastrophic. And not just vote. I mean,
[21:10] Speaker 3: first of all, you got a registered to vote. A
[21:12] Speaker 3: lot of people don't even know if they are registered
[21:15] Speaker 3: to vote. I once heard or saw or report that
[21:20] Speaker 3: that half the members of the NRA are not registered
[21:22] Speaker 3: to vote, which is amazing to me. How can you
[21:24] Speaker 3: be an effective political force if you're not even registered
[21:26] Speaker 3: to vote? So we have to help each other. We
[21:31] Speaker 3: have to enable each other to be effective, to remind
[21:36] Speaker 3: each other that this fight is forever. If you care
[21:39] Speaker 3: about the Second Amendment, I don't care about your other issues.
[21:42] Speaker 3: You know we may disagree on those. We're going to
[21:44] Speaker 3: agree on Second Amendment. If you care about it, may
[21:49] Speaker 3: I suggest that you need to commit to being a volunteer,
[21:54] Speaker 3: to being an activist, to be engaged, whether it's time
[21:58] Speaker 3: or money, which are kind of interchangeable. Sometimes getting somebody
[22:04] Speaker 3: to the polls, helping them get there, making sure your
[22:07] Speaker 3: buddies are registered to vote. It's okay to say, what
[22:09] Speaker 3: do you mean you're not registered to vote, you knucklehead.
[22:12] Speaker 3: Let's get this done. It's a life kind battle. It
[22:16] Speaker 3: will never end because they will always be coming after
[22:19] Speaker 3: our rights and they will only get them if we
[22:22] Speaker 3: stop fighting. We can never stop fighting. So as we
[22:25] Speaker 3: celebrate the two hundred and fiftieth birthday of our country,
[22:28] Speaker 3: let's all we commit to stay engage, all right. Praise
[22:37] Speaker 3: to the day. Is Magga make Americans gun fighters again.
[22:41] Speaker 3: I'm Tom Gresham. It's gun talk. Give me a call
[22:43] Speaker 3: it eight sixty six or talk gun or Tom Talk gun.
[22:46] Speaker 3: That'll get you. There a lot of folks lined up,
[22:49] Speaker 3: they're on the phones. Let me go grab the first one.
[22:52] Speaker 3: Richard is online two out of Hill Country, Texas. Richard,
[22:56] Speaker 3: you're up.
[22:58] Speaker 8: Yes, sir, my nomination is not a particular gun. It's
[23:03] Speaker 8: just a twenty two caliber whatever gun a person likes
[23:07] Speaker 8: for once.
[23:08] Speaker 3: Has, okay, yeah, for America's gun. Now, would you limit
[23:12] Speaker 3: it to a rifle versus handgun?
[23:16] Speaker 8: No twenty two caliber period whatever?
[23:19] Speaker 3: Okay?
[23:20] Speaker 8: Whatever that works in it's it's been HiT's around everywhere.
[23:27] Speaker 3: Yeah, if you don't have a twenty two, what's wrong
[23:29] Speaker 3: with you?
[23:29] Speaker 4: Right?
[23:30] Speaker 8: Don't you take?
[23:31] Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, everywhere I do. I was at the range
[23:35] Speaker 3: the other day. I was taking a fifteen year old out.
[23:37] Speaker 3: We shot a twenty two revolver, a twenty two semi autopistol,
[23:41] Speaker 3: and a twenty two rifle and a Rugerten twenty two.
[23:44] Speaker 3: So yeah, we had to boss you in twenty two's.
[23:47] Speaker 3: So I don't think there's the thing in the world
[23:49] Speaker 3: wrong with that. Good, good idea. Thank you, sir, appreciate
[23:51] Speaker 3: the call. Let's go grab Jeff on four out of
[23:54] Speaker 3: boys the Idaho. Jeff, you got a range of fort
[23:57] Speaker 3: for us? Yeah?
[23:58] Speaker 17: Hi, Tom, Hey, I went and recently bought a Smith
[24:02] Speaker 17: and Wesson Shield Easy in thirty Super Carry.
[24:06] Speaker 4: Oh, interesting, Supercurry.
[24:08] Speaker 17: Round has been maligned, like you're reading, it's a only
[24:11] Speaker 17: an idiot would buy a thirty Supercurry. But this shield
[24:16] Speaker 17: Easy was only two hundred and forty dollars and that
[24:20] Speaker 17: Smith and Wesson is just a beautiful, beautiful gun. Yes
[24:24] Speaker 17: it is not do it and for those who don't
[24:27] Speaker 17: meant it, let.
[24:29] Speaker 3: Me jump in, let me explain. For those who don't know,
[24:31] Speaker 3: the shield Ez is a semi auto pistol, good defensive gun,
[24:36] Speaker 3: but the Easy is the designation for the way it's made.
[24:41] Speaker 3: The rack. The slide is very easy to rack. It's
[24:43] Speaker 3: very easy to operate the slide, and so I often
[24:46] Speaker 3: recommend that shield Z for people who are having trouble
[24:49] Speaker 3: operating the slide on their semiato. But the thirty Super
[24:53] Speaker 3: Carry is a new er, new ish cartridge, and you're right,
[24:58] Speaker 3: it has been much maligne. People go, what's the point
[25:01] Speaker 3: of it, So what's your experience with it?
[25:05] Speaker 17: Well, okay, I've got the shield easy in three eighty
[25:08] Speaker 17: and I am very recoil sensitive, so I'm concerned about that.
[25:11] Speaker 17: But the Super Carry is supposed to be between three
[25:14] Speaker 17: eighty and nine milimeters, closer to nine millimeter, and the
[25:17] Speaker 17: recoil is supposed to be similar to nine milime, it
[25:20] Speaker 17: may be a little bit less. So I just tried
[25:23] Speaker 17: it out and I shot it, and it really wasn't
[25:25] Speaker 17: bad at all, And I was really kind of amazed
[25:28] Speaker 17: that they do something with the action of the pistol
[25:33] Speaker 17: that it kind of delays it a little bit and
[25:35] Speaker 17: it made the recoil not so bad.
[25:38] Speaker 3: Are you having any trouble finding Ammo for.
[25:41] Speaker 17: That, Well, yes, I mean Ammo is there. The complaint
[25:46] Speaker 17: is Ammo availability and Ammo cost. So Ammo cost is
[25:51] Speaker 17: a little bit more than three eighty, but then so
[25:54] Speaker 17: is thirty two ACP. And I don't I think that
[25:57] Speaker 17: for a beautiful gun. I don't really care about the animal.
[26:01] Speaker 17: I'm not going to shoot that thing a whole lot.
[26:03] Speaker 17: And it's a nice shooting gun, and the ballistics are
[26:06] Speaker 17: almost identical in foot pounds of energy to a nine milimeter,
[26:11] Speaker 17: so I think it's just it's kind of great.
[26:13] Speaker 5: I like it.
[26:14] Speaker 3: You know, you mentioned that you have the shield these
[26:17] Speaker 3: d and three eighty, and I think that is a
[26:19] Speaker 3: sleeper gun in a sleeper cartridge that more people should
[26:23] Speaker 3: be aware of.
[26:26] Speaker 17: It's nice. Plus do you know that it's the only
[26:29] Speaker 17: gun out there, one of the few ones that has
[26:31] Speaker 17: a grip safety and a manual safety, which is kind
[26:34] Speaker 17: of an interesting concept in its own right. I think
[26:37] Speaker 17: the limitation on the three eighty shield Easy is just
[26:42] Speaker 17: I think it's eight rounds. It doesn't have much capacity,
[26:45] Speaker 17: so there are better three eighties. For example, the Ruger
[26:49] Speaker 17: Security three eight is a fifteen round is a nice gun, so.
[26:53] Speaker 3: Right, but if you hear those are beautiful, they are.
[26:57] Speaker 3: And if you have trouble operating a slide, the three
[27:01] Speaker 3: eighty in any semiauto is a lot easier to work
[27:04] Speaker 3: the slide than a nine to milimeter, so I recommend that.
[27:06] Speaker 3: And three eighty AMO is very good, certainly adequate for
[27:10] Speaker 3: almost all self defense situations. But the easy system is
[27:14] Speaker 3: very easy to work the slide too. So there you go,
[27:17] Speaker 3: good good range of port. I thank you, sir. I
[27:18] Speaker 3: appreciate that. One thing that brings me to a safety
[27:22] Speaker 3: thing I want to talk about when you're working the
[27:27] Speaker 3: slide on a semiauto pistol and I talk about this
[27:32] Speaker 3: a good bit. You can bring the gun into your
[27:33] Speaker 3: chest and put your if you're shooting right hand, put
[27:37] Speaker 3: your left hand over the top of the slide. You
[27:40] Speaker 3: shove forward with your right hand and you yank back
[27:42] Speaker 3: with your left hand. That's all well and good. It
[27:44] Speaker 3: works very well. Here's the problem or the challenge. If
[27:49] Speaker 3: you prefer I keep getting your porch from people say, yeah,
[27:53] Speaker 3: there was somebody at the range who was doing it
[27:55] Speaker 3: that way, but he or she brought it into their chest,
[27:59] Speaker 3: and now it's pointing at a ninety degree angle from downrange.
[28:03] Speaker 3: It's pointing at everybody along the line where there are
[28:06] Speaker 3: all these people. Yes, if you bring the gun in
[28:11] Speaker 3: and you swing the muzzle over to your left, if
[28:14] Speaker 3: you're right handed, it's easier to work the slide. Here's
[28:17] Speaker 3: the way you handle that, and here's how you even
[28:20] Speaker 3: if you're not doing it. If you're coaching somebody on this,
[28:23] Speaker 3: that's what you tell them to do. Turn their body
[28:26] Speaker 3: sideways so their left shoulders pointing down range, so that
[28:32] Speaker 3: when they bring the gun to the chest to operate
[28:35] Speaker 3: the slide, the muzzle is still pointing down range and
[28:41] Speaker 3: then they rack the slide. You can point it down
[28:43] Speaker 3: range and you can turn your body square it off again.
[28:46] Speaker 3: But then when it's time to bring the gun back
[28:48] Speaker 3: in and we're on the slide, if you feel the
[28:50] Speaker 3: need to pull that gun in and have it point
[28:53] Speaker 3: it across your chest, take a step one way or
[28:56] Speaker 3: the other, turn your body sideways, blade it so that
[28:59] Speaker 3: you're shoulder in the case of a right hand shooters
[29:02] Speaker 3: pointed down range, worked the slide, and then square up again.
[29:06] Speaker 3: It's a fairly simple movement. It's a fairly simple concept
[29:09] Speaker 3: to get a hold of. But just wanted to throw
[29:11] Speaker 3: it out there for everybody. It's a safety issue. Okay,
[29:16] Speaker 3: let's grab Mike online, three out of Texas. Hey, Mike,
[29:19] Speaker 3: you're up.
[29:21] Speaker 16: Hello Tom, Yes you're what. You asked everybody what they
[29:26] Speaker 16: thought representative America and the.
[29:27] Speaker 5: Way of a gun?
[29:28] Speaker 3: Uh huh.
[29:29] Speaker 16: I believe it's I think it's a single shot, honestly. So,
[29:33] Speaker 16: I mean, you think about it, what did our forefathers
[29:36] Speaker 16: fight with? They fought with single shots?
[29:37] Speaker 5: Did they not?
[29:39] Speaker 3: Well? Yeah, if you start off with muskets and then
[29:41] Speaker 3: flint locks and yeah.
[29:43] Speaker 16: Yeah, yes exactly, And then you think about it. You know,
[29:47] Speaker 16: any kiddo they got started off shooting probably started off
[29:50] Speaker 16: with a single shot. Four ten.
[29:52] Speaker 9: I would bet.
[29:53] Speaker 3: Good chance of it at least way back. Maybe not
[29:55] Speaker 3: so much anymore because it's kind of hard to find
[29:57] Speaker 3: single shots now. They're just particularly in youth guns. But
[30:02] Speaker 3: you know, also, I would say that there are some
[30:05] Speaker 3: really cool single shots out there in the form of
[30:07] Speaker 3: like the Ruger Number one, which is a great rifle,
[30:10] Speaker 3: but it's a single shot.
[30:12] Speaker 16: Well, you looked at all the thousands that were made
[30:14] Speaker 16: by Thompson Center and HNR News and Thoms. I mean,
[30:18] Speaker 16: there were a ton of them made. And I really
[30:22] Speaker 16: enjoy the simplicity of the action.
[30:23] Speaker 4: I really do.
[30:24] Speaker 16: I have been a big fan of single shots for
[30:26] Speaker 16: a long time.
[30:27] Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah, A break action single shot is about as
[30:30] Speaker 3: simple as it gets. The only thing I would offer
[30:32] Speaker 3: is that anybody who's done this knows what I'm talking about.
[30:35] Speaker 3: If you get, like Thompson Center one of those, and
[30:38] Speaker 3: you get it in something like a forty five seventy,
[30:40] Speaker 3: the recoil is prodigious.
[30:44] Speaker 16: Well, I have an H and R single shot forty
[30:46] Speaker 16: five seventy.
[30:47] Speaker 4: I absolutely love it.
[30:47] Speaker 16: It is so much fun to shoot. You go and
[30:50] Speaker 16: you shoot. It just puts a big old grind on
[30:52] Speaker 16: these things. And I have seen that for so many
[30:54] Speaker 16: people shoot it.
[30:57] Speaker 3: It does, you know, but you got a lot of
[30:58] Speaker 3: know like this is a light one gun, it's gonna
[31:00] Speaker 3: have some recoil.
[31:02] Speaker 16: Oh absolutely well. I shot Factory four a front five
[31:06] Speaker 16: grand loves out of it. And then my father in law,
[31:09] Speaker 16: being a reloader, custom tuned up some pretty good mo
[31:13] Speaker 16: and it would get your traumise.
[31:15] Speaker 3: Boy oh boy, yeah, you can hear that.
[31:18] Speaker 4: But just a blast.
[31:20] Speaker 16: It comes forward down discipline and accuracy than anything.
[31:24] Speaker 3: Yep, I hear you. Yes, single shot is going to
[31:26] Speaker 3: force you to concentrate. You only got one. No follow
[31:28] Speaker 3: up shots? All right, real quick, let's go grab Dick
[31:31] Speaker 3: out of Least City, Texas. Thing's online? Five? Hello, Dick,
[31:34] Speaker 3: you're on gun talk. What's on your mind? Or or
[31:40] Speaker 3: he's not. It's a day for people to lose their
[31:44] Speaker 3: connections or put down their phones. I don't know. And
[31:46] Speaker 3: sometimes I think they'll mute the phone and now he's
[31:49] Speaker 3: trying to talk to me and he forgot that the music,
[31:51] Speaker 3: But it happens. That's kind of the deal. So ask
[31:54] Speaker 3: me the question, if you had to pick a gun
[31:58] Speaker 3: that what you could call America's gun, what would it be?
[32:03] Speaker 3: We mentioned somebody mentioned twenty two's Yeah, could a Ruger
[32:07] Speaker 3: ten twenty two maybe not old enough? Maybe not. I
[32:14] Speaker 3: gotta say I think I got to put a vote
[32:17] Speaker 3: in for the nineteen eleven platform. It's been made by
[32:21] Speaker 3: a whole bunch of different companies, including the Singer Sewing
[32:24] Speaker 3: Machine company unbelievably made nineteen elevens. Might be a good
[32:30] Speaker 3: vote there. I like the lever action rifle concept as
[32:34] Speaker 3: America's gun in one grand. Maybe I don't know. It's
[32:42] Speaker 3: it's there's so many good choices. That's an interesting thought.
[32:47] Speaker 3: The reason we're struggling with this is there are, in fact,
[32:51] Speaker 3: so many good choices, so many good platforms of firearms
[32:57] Speaker 3: in America. We are, and I offer and say this,
[33:00] Speaker 3: we are in the golden age right now. And we
[33:03] Speaker 3: talk about the old days, the pre sixty fours of this,
[33:05] Speaker 3: and that they don't make them like they used to.
[33:06] Speaker 3: Know they don't. They make them a lot better now
[33:09] Speaker 3: than they used to. The guns we buy now are
[33:13] Speaker 3: so much better what was made in the old days.
[33:18] Speaker 3: I mean they just are. When you can get a
[33:21] Speaker 3: Ruger American rifle that shoots half inch groups out of
[33:24] Speaker 3: the box, that was unheard of thirty forty fifty years ago,
[33:30] Speaker 3: we have pistols that you go buy. There's any number
[33:34] Speaker 3: of people companies making nineteen elevens. Now, they're simply better
[33:39] Speaker 3: than what you could have gotten thirty to fifty years ago.
[33:42] Speaker 3: They just are. And then we have guns that never
[33:45] Speaker 3: existed before, double stack nineteen elevens. This goes on and on,
[33:50] Speaker 3: all of our striker fired guns. Oh, by the way,
[33:53] Speaker 3: we had callers said the other said it was rare
[33:56] Speaker 3: because you had a pistol with a grip safety and
[34:00] Speaker 3: emmanual safety, and thinking, yeah, okay, that may seem rare
[34:04] Speaker 3: to you. But the one I'm wearing at the moment
[34:07] Speaker 3: with who's designed, Oh, I don't know. And nineteen eleven
[34:11] Speaker 3: was adopted by the US Army. It is a grip
[34:14] Speaker 3: safety and emmanual safety. Yeah it does okay. And some
[34:19] Speaker 3: people say, I don't like grip safety. Cool, get someone
[34:22] Speaker 3: without it. It's fine, you know. And now we have
[34:24] Speaker 3: the twenty elevens, if you will, the double stack nineteen elevens.
[34:28] Speaker 3: And at the same time we have all of these
[34:30] Speaker 3: great striker fired guns. I mean, I look at the
[34:35] Speaker 3: rugers and the smiths are being made, and now we're
[34:39] Speaker 3: getting more czs in the country, and the dan Wessons
[34:43] Speaker 3: have come back and are making really fine guns. Just
[34:48] Speaker 3: I am amazed at the quality of the firearms we
[34:53] Speaker 3: have available to us. And we're probably going to get more.
[34:58] Speaker 3: Not just be more being made by the current companies,
[35:01] Speaker 3: but I think we're going to get some restrictions removed
[35:04] Speaker 3: on imports and we're going to be able to get
[35:07] Speaker 3: some more guns coming in from other countries. Once again,
[35:11] Speaker 3: and I say this over and over again, Donald Trump,
[35:14] Speaker 3: it's a different world. And it's not just what you
[35:18] Speaker 3: heat hasn't done this. No, it's DOJ, it's State Department's imports,
[35:22] Speaker 3: it's ATF, it's regulations. They're talking about getting rid of
[35:26] Speaker 3: the restriction of having to be at a gun store
[35:29] Speaker 3: to get your gun worked about in state, where you
[35:35] Speaker 3: fill out all the paperwork online and they can send
[35:39] Speaker 3: it to your house. We have not been able to
[35:43] Speaker 3: do that since nineteen sixty eight. The nineteen sixty eight
[35:47] Speaker 3: Gun Control Act stopped that. And the ATF is saying, yeah,
[35:51] Speaker 3: we think we can do this from a regulatory basis.
[35:56] Speaker 3: Can you imagine a Biden or Ai administration doing that
[36:02] Speaker 3: crazy talk, crazy stuff. We just we're making so many
[36:06] Speaker 3: advancements so fast that we can't even keep up with it.
[36:09] Speaker 3: And the ATS says, here's thirty four measures we're going
[36:13] Speaker 3: to do to ease the burden on gun owners and
[36:16] Speaker 3: gun stores and manufacturers, and those are going to be
[36:19] Speaker 3: the first thirty four as we move forward. Just I mean,
[36:24] Speaker 3: it's fascinating. Uh, Jim, do we have time for one
[36:28] Speaker 3: more caller in here? Let's do know what I want? No,
[36:32] Speaker 3: let's drop down to Joe. I want to get Joe online.
[36:34] Speaker 3: Three please, Joe, you're up?
[36:37] Speaker 17: Hey, Tom.
[36:38] Speaker 15: The greatest gun of all time, the gun that saves
[36:40] Speaker 15: the list, single action Colt forty five.
[36:45] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, the Cowboy gun. Yes, and we have one.
[36:51] Speaker 15: Without them, we wouldn't be here today.
[36:53] Speaker 3: Do you have one?
[36:56] Speaker 15: No, but really quick. My father used to sell old
[36:59] Speaker 15: cat aluminum models of those in the fifties and sixties,
[37:04] Speaker 15: the Colt the walk of the patters in the Army
[37:06] Speaker 15: of the Navy, and I was a kid working with
[37:09] Speaker 15: him preparing him a ship. When they got sold. I
[37:13] Speaker 15: even cated the grips. I was working at twelve years
[37:16] Speaker 15: old with guns.
[37:20] Speaker 3: I love it all right, Thank you, Joe. I appreciate that.
[37:23] Speaker 3: As long as we're on this grab on line one
[37:25] Speaker 3: real fast. Robert in Arkansas. Hey, Robert, talk to me.
[37:31] Speaker 5: I'd like to nominate two guns. The Kid eighteen seventy three, Yeah,
[37:39] Speaker 5: the gun that won the West Okay. And there was
[37:43] Speaker 5: a single action revolver called the Colt Single Action Army
[37:47] Speaker 5: they called the Peacemaker.
[37:51] Speaker 3: I like both of them. I think they're good choices.
[37:53] Speaker 3: And it's back to back. We had Joe and Reno
[37:56] Speaker 3: and Robert and Arkansas Boseley and the Cult Single Action Army.
[38:00] Speaker 3: I love it good. You know. I have one of
[38:04] Speaker 3: those that I got from my dad, inherited from my dad,
[38:09] Speaker 3: and I don't think I've ever shot it. It's a
[38:14] Speaker 3: nickel plated Cult single action revolver, and I think probably
[38:21] Speaker 3: it's time to break it out. And I've got some
[38:25] Speaker 3: Colt Ammo, and I think I got to go in
[38:29] Speaker 3: celebration of America's two fiftieth, I got to go shoot
[38:32] Speaker 3: the single action Colt. Just hadn't thought about that. I
[38:36] Speaker 3: know exactly where it is and it's in the box.
[38:39] Speaker 3: I know it's been shot. It's not on fired, but
[38:42] Speaker 3: I bet it hadn't had fifty rounds through it. And
[38:45] Speaker 3: I think I got to go do that. Now I
[38:47] Speaker 3: do have some other single actions. I've got a number
[38:49] Speaker 3: of ruggers that I really like, some of the convertible
[38:53] Speaker 3: ones wait to shoot forty five ACP and forty five
[38:56] Speaker 3: COLT And of course I think maybe the first handgun
[38:58] Speaker 3: that I own was a rugorous single action that they
[39:02] Speaker 3: were they called the convertibles twenty two, twenty two magnum
[39:06] Speaker 3: and twenty two long ride. Fun stuff, great memories. And
[39:10] Speaker 3: you know what the great part of it is, we
[39:12] Speaker 3: can have these memories of these guns we had and
[39:14] Speaker 3: we could still take them out and shoot them today.
[39:17] Speaker 3: That is the wonder and the beauty of fire. All right,
[39:29] Speaker 3: I know you have stories that we would like to
[39:31] Speaker 3: hear them. Give me a call right now. We can
[39:32] Speaker 3: get you into the after show number here is Tom
[39:34] Speaker 3: Talk gun easy as that. What a great weekend, what
[39:38] Speaker 3: a great time, what a great celebration. Two hundred and
[39:40] Speaker 3: fifty years of this incredible experiment. And trust me, there
[39:43] Speaker 3: are people who want to bring us down. We have
[39:45] Speaker 3: to keep fighting. They always have. It took fighting to
[39:49] Speaker 3: create the country. It has taken fighting to keep the country.
[39:55] Speaker 3: And it also requires fighting of a sort, maybe not
[39:58] Speaker 3: armed conflict, but being in a battle to retain our
[40:03] Speaker 3: rights that people are always trying to take away. I
[40:06] Speaker 3: don't really know what the true motivation is those who
[40:10] Speaker 3: say we could we shouldn't have guns. I mean, I
[40:13] Speaker 3: know some people are just bone stupid, okay, and actually
[40:17] Speaker 3: think that criminals will stop committing crime if somehow you
[40:21] Speaker 3: could ban guns. They don't. They don't, they never have.
[40:25] Speaker 3: In countries where they have very few guns, they still
[40:27] Speaker 3: have high crime rates. Just switch to something else. But
[40:33] Speaker 3: what also happens is you rob people of their ability
[40:37] Speaker 3: to protect themselves and their families. Guns are used in
[40:42] Speaker 3: self defense successfully in America more than a million times
[40:46] Speaker 3: a year, maybe as million, as many as three million
[40:49] Speaker 3: times a year. The guns are successfully used to protect themselves,
[40:55] Speaker 3: people use to protect themselves or other people. Take away
[41:00] Speaker 3: the guns. You make them defenseless, You make them victims.
[41:07] Speaker 3: People say, oh, yeah, we have to do something gun violence.
[41:09] Speaker 3: You know what, Let me just say this, sometimes gun
[41:14] Speaker 3: violence is good. You don't believe that. Let something really
[41:18] Speaker 3: bad happen. And what are you gonna do. You're gonna
[41:20] Speaker 3: call nine one one. What do you want when you
[41:21] Speaker 3: call nine one one? You want people to bring guns.
[41:25] Speaker 3: You want them to bring violence to someone to get
[41:30] Speaker 3: them to stop doing whatever they're doing. So, no matter
[41:34] Speaker 3: who you are, no matter where you fall on the spectrum,
[41:39] Speaker 3: you like some gun violence. But unfortunately some of you,
[41:48] Speaker 3: not many people listening to this, but some folks out
[41:50] Speaker 3: there don't want to take responsibility for doing it themselves.
[41:54] Speaker 3: They want to farm it out, They want to outsource
[41:56] Speaker 3: their safety. I want somebody else to do this. It's
[41:59] Speaker 3: not my job it is. It is absolutely your job
[42:02] Speaker 3: to protect yourself and your family. It's no one else's job,
[42:06] Speaker 3: someone else's responsibility. How dare you abdicate that responsibility? Your
[42:14] Speaker 3: family needs you, Your family loves you, They want you
[42:19] Speaker 3: to be around. And oh yeah, by the way, shouldn't
[42:22] Speaker 3: you be responsible take some responsibilities for protecting your family members.
[42:27] Speaker 3: You teach the kids to look both ways before they
[42:29] Speaker 3: cross the street. Why wouldn't you do the bare minimum
[42:33] Speaker 3: of having some means of protecting them when someone wants
[42:35] Speaker 3: to kidnap them, rape them, or kill them. I don't know.
[42:40] Speaker 3: I don't understand the logic there. This was a country
[42:43] Speaker 3: that was born because the British came to take our guns.
[42:48] Speaker 3: Understand that there were a lot of things leading up
[42:51] Speaker 3: to that. Okay, but This whole thing got started because
[42:54] Speaker 3: the British came to confiscate our guns and we shot them.
[43:01] Speaker 3: Simple as that, it's not a lesson that should be abandoned.
[43:06] Speaker 3: West might want to hold onto that idea of just
[43:08] Speaker 3: throwing some thoughts out to you. So if you want
[43:10] Speaker 3: to be a part of the further conversation, call me
[43:12] Speaker 3: right now. We'll get you into the after show. Give
[43:14] Speaker 3: me a call at Tom Talk gun In the meantime,
[43:16] Speaker 3: go check me out over on x you know the
[43:18] Speaker 3: former Twitter thing I am at gun Talk over there

[43:25] Speaker 3: crazy new MAGA hat. Yeah, make Americans gun fighters again.
[43:30] Speaker 3: Wear the picture of my cool nineteen eleven pistol about
[43:33] Speaker 3: the way. Hey, go buy a gun, go shoot some guns,
[43:36] Speaker 3: take somebody to the rains, have some fun, celebrate America.
[43:39] Speaker 3: Be safe. Four rules of gun safety always no matter what,
[43:42] Speaker 3: no matter where you are, no matter what you're doing,
[43:44] Speaker 3: and four rules always apply in the meantime. Thanks to
[43:47] Speaker 3: John Brownie, thanks to the founder of this country, and
[43:50] Speaker 3: thank you for being a big part of this show.
[43:53] Speaker 3: Tom Gresham. Here pie an next year.
