[0:03] Speaker 1: So you've made it through three hours of the regular
[0:06] Speaker 1: show on terrestrial radio, and you wanted a little bit more.
[0:09] Speaker 2: So that's why you found the gun Talk After Show podcast,
[0:11] Speaker 2: where we saved all the best things.
[0:13] Speaker 3: That we can't say on regular radio.
[0:15] Speaker 1: Now here's Tom, Michelle and Jim for the gun Talk
[0:17] Speaker 1: after Show.
[0:20] Speaker 4: Okay, we are starting the after show here because we
[0:23] Speaker 4: got Jim and Michelle and we're.
[0:24] Speaker 5: Having our own no party, guys. That's right, the after
[0:27] Speaker 5: Show squared.
[0:29] Speaker 4: Good lord, if only people could hear what goes on
[0:32] Speaker 4: before we start hitting the record button.
[0:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, how much of anything?
[0:37] Speaker 4: Yeah, not much of anything, my gosh, and we'll never tell.
[0:41] Speaker 4: So there's that part right, oh hey before we forget.
[0:46] Speaker 5: And you mentioned it in the National Show, all right,
[0:48] Speaker 5: p Lindsay Graham.
[0:50] Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly right, you know. And look, I'm on X
[0:53] Speaker 4: and people are but he did this, he did that.
[0:57] Speaker 4: I get it. He's a politician. We're not going to
[1:00] Speaker 4: like everything he did. And you may say, I really
[1:02] Speaker 4: don't like that guy. Okay, cool, But he was thirty
[1:06] Speaker 4: three years in the Air Force after Beauty and Reserves
[1:11] Speaker 4: and I think Air National Guard as well. He served
[1:14] Speaker 4: his country as a US senator, he when his parents died,
[1:18] Speaker 4: he was in college and he single handedly raised his
[1:23] Speaker 4: thirteen year old sister, younger sister. And the other thing
[1:27] Speaker 4: is it just occurred to me because there's this famous
[1:29] Speaker 4: speech of him he gave during the Brett Kavanaugh hearing,
[1:34] Speaker 4: and he stopped the assault on Brett Kavanaugh and got
[1:37] Speaker 4: Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. And without Brett Kavanaugh,
[1:41] Speaker 4: we would not have had the two Supreme Court decisions.
[1:44] Speaker 4: We just had the Second Amendment and we wouldn't have
[1:46] Speaker 4: the AR fifteen case going to the Supreme Court. So
[1:49] Speaker 4: whatever else you think about Lindsey Graham, and there are
[1:51] Speaker 4: a lot of thoughts about it, he did some good
[1:54] Speaker 4: things for us on the Second.
[1:55] Speaker 1: Amendment side, and he did what he was supposed to
[1:58] Speaker 1: do work across the parties.
[2:01] Speaker 3: I mean, we might not like it, but that's that's
[2:04] Speaker 3: the way it goes.
[2:05] Speaker 4: And he wasn't solid on the Second Mement either. I
[2:07] Speaker 4: mean he he you know, supported some gun control stuff.
[2:11] Speaker 4: So it's like, Okay, he wasn't perfect like a lot
[2:13] Speaker 4: of them art but well.
[2:14] Speaker 2: Wait a second, if I can't have everything, I won't
[2:17] Speaker 2: take anything time.
[2:18] Speaker 4: Well, also, it's a it's a really good chance to
[2:21] Speaker 4: bash somebody who just died.
[2:23] Speaker 5: So yeah, the honorable things.
[2:25] Speaker 4: Yeah right, real classy people. Good lord, you know, give
[2:28] Speaker 4: it twenty four to forty eight hours, would you Nope? Nope, nope, nope,
[2:31] Speaker 4: not going to do that.
[2:32] Speaker 5: Sure there were memes within five minutes.
[2:34] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, absolutely, It's just all over the place. That's fine,
[2:38] Speaker 4: you know, okay, he he has passed on. I don't
[2:41] Speaker 4: know what's going to happen in South Carolina and the
[2:43] Speaker 4: Senate race, and that'll be you know out there affective
[2:46] Speaker 4: deals right now people talk about it. But yes, a
[2:49] Speaker 4: rest and feasts and you.
[2:50] Speaker 5: Know, thinking about throwing your hat and ring Gresham.
[2:53] Speaker 3: Is you got to move again though?
[2:54] Speaker 5: South Carolina?
[2:55] Speaker 3: How many commute? How long they have to be there
[2:58] Speaker 3: before you can?
[2:58] Speaker 4: Not only can I not run office, I can't even
[3:00] Speaker 4: walk for office. Yeah right now.
[3:02] Speaker 1: Oh I can't even roll over.
[3:07] Speaker 4: When I go out. This back a couple of days ago.
[3:10] Speaker 4: It's like, and I was going to go shoot in
[3:12] Speaker 4: our local steel challenge yesterday. I was ready to go,
[3:16] Speaker 4: and you know, of course I was going to smoke
[3:18] Speaker 4: every No, actually I wasn't.
[3:20] Speaker 5: It's okay, yeah, they always they always need target holders.
[3:24] Speaker 3: But they're still.
[3:27] Speaker 4: I could hide behind them, right. Just hope people are good.
[3:29] Speaker 3: Shots, right, don't worry about anything deflecting.
[3:31] Speaker 4: It's fine, it'll be fine. Have you ever Okay, I
[3:35] Speaker 4: know you have because you shot a bunch. When you're
[3:37] Speaker 4: shooting steel, we're out of the range, we're you know,
[3:40] Speaker 4: doing stuff for video. We're painting the targets and all
[3:43] Speaker 4: that made the mistake of putting the can of paint
[3:47] Speaker 4: right on the ground, right next to the steel target.
[3:50] Speaker 3: I don't know where this is going, because.
[3:55] Speaker 4: I can't be the only one who did that. And
[3:57] Speaker 4: you shoot a steel target in the shrap goes down
[4:01] Speaker 4: and hits the paint can and it just starts spraying
[4:03] Speaker 4: and going all over the place because you have now punctured,
[4:06] Speaker 4: just pressurized paint can.
[4:07] Speaker 3: Well, instead of auto reset, you have auto repaint. Oh
[4:12] Speaker 3: I like that.
[4:16] Speaker 4: That's it.
[4:17] Speaker 3: Save myself a walk down there.
[4:19] Speaker 4: It is certainly a really forceful demonstration of what happens
[4:25] Speaker 4: when a bullet hits steel.
[4:27] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[4:28] Speaker 2: Well, folks in Saginaw, Michigan in the mid eighties, so
[4:30] Speaker 2: I had a rash of colored snow nobody could figure out.
[4:35] Speaker 5: But that's that's where I was from.
[4:37] Speaker 2: Let's go buy a case of spray paint, set it
[4:39] Speaker 2: up on tree stumps and see if we can hit
[4:41] Speaker 2: it from hundred yards.
[4:42] Speaker 4: Okay, it was beautiful. It was beautiful. Oh man, that's
[4:47] Speaker 4: just beautiful.
[4:48] Speaker 5: Stupid and irresponsible, but it was beautiful at the time.
[4:52] Speaker 4: Well, depending on where you are, it's not gonna hurt anything.
[4:54] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[4:55] Speaker 4: We do have some cool video of Ryan one time
[4:58] Speaker 4: shooting a can of shaving oheah, oh yeah, which is
[5:02] Speaker 4: really fun. But the problem is he didn't check the
[5:04] Speaker 4: wind first and he got covered with shaving cream.
[5:10] Speaker 5: Good out.
[5:11] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's a great outtake.
[5:12] Speaker 1: I love it. It wasn't a close enough you already
[5:15] Speaker 1: had five o'clock shadow going on.
[5:17] Speaker 4: Yeah really, But you know, if you just want a
[5:22] Speaker 4: fun target, assuming you're at a range where you can
[5:24] Speaker 4: do this outdoor range, right, a can of shaving cream,
[5:28] Speaker 4: you get back oh wait, he figure twenty thirty feet
[5:31] Speaker 4: at least, and whack it. It just makes a great cloud.
[5:35] Speaker 4: It's tons of fun. Just go to the dollar store obviously,
[5:38] Speaker 4: pick up your trash, and you know the next rain
[5:41] Speaker 4: will wash away all the soapy pomy stuff. Anyway, I
[5:44] Speaker 4: like fun targets. I like react to targets. Now, don't
[5:47] Speaker 4: take it too far. I'm sure you've all seen the
[5:50] Speaker 4: videos of people shooting Tanner right that they put inside
[5:53] Speaker 4: a refrigerator or something.
[5:55] Speaker 5: There's sixty pounds of Tanner writing inside this Volkswagen.
[5:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, and now the parts fly right back at you
[6:01] Speaker 4: past the camera. I mean, take your head off, yep, geez. Anyway,
[6:06] Speaker 4: So don't.
[6:06] Speaker 5: Do that for great TV though, Tom.
[6:09] Speaker 4: Yeah, we remember him when he got that great video and.
[6:12] Speaker 5: A lot of employee turnover.
[6:13] Speaker 4: But oh, have you guys seen it? I think it
[6:16] Speaker 4: just came out today, the video of the latest Turan
[6:20] Speaker 4: in the Yellowstone tourist.
[6:22] Speaker 5: Tourists, Moron no Turan.
[6:25] Speaker 4: The guy that got caught by the buffalo.
[6:27] Speaker 1: You saw that, Michelle, Yeah, sixty two year old, you know,
[6:30] Speaker 1: like eight nine feet up in the area.
[6:32] Speaker 4: Got I mean, he threw this guy way up in
[6:34] Speaker 4: the end.
[6:35] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[6:35] Speaker 1: But supposedly he and his grandson were walking down the road.
[6:38] Speaker 1: Stop looked at him. They were They weren't on top
[6:41] Speaker 1: of him.
[6:41] Speaker 4: No, they weren't.
[6:42] Speaker 3: They were you know, he was.
[6:43] Speaker 1: Rolling around the bison, was rolling around in a sand pit.
[6:47] Speaker 1: And I didn't like him, I guess because they continued walking.
[6:51] Speaker 3: He charged me and this.
[6:52] Speaker 4: And he ran all around this tree getting away from
[6:55] Speaker 4: the bison chased him, finally caught him and flipped him
[6:57] Speaker 4: way up in the air. And I guess he's pretty
[6:59] Speaker 4: severely injured.
[7:00] Speaker 5: Think, my gosh, surprised you alive?
[7:03] Speaker 4: No kidding, you know. And let me just tell you,
[7:06] Speaker 4: if you're going to carry a gun for a bison,
[7:08] Speaker 4: you better have a big gun for phys or something
[7:12] Speaker 4: big animals, like two thousand pounds.
[7:16] Speaker 1: Well, I'm I'm not quite sure you'd be doing that
[7:19] Speaker 1: in the National Park.
[7:22] Speaker 4: It is actually illegal to carry you international.
[7:24] Speaker 1: Well, but I mean, could you imagine the scattering people
[7:28] Speaker 1: and everything, like to be fully aware of what's going
[7:32] Speaker 1: on and where you're standing and where everybody else is.
[7:36] Speaker 4: Yeah, you're really it's probably better off to try to
[7:39] Speaker 4: travel with somebody who's just a little slower than you are.
[7:43] Speaker 3: Yeah, Tom, will you carry the marshmallow fluff for me?
[7:46] Speaker 3: Then you can't run.
[7:49] Speaker 4: Today, I would be the slower person, exactly right. That's right.
[7:53] Speaker 4: It's better today than it was yesterday, but it's still
[7:55] Speaker 4: not great. So there you go.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Wood County, Ohio is adjacent to our county here, and
[8:00] Speaker 2: they have a massa I don't know it's a number
[8:02] Speaker 2: one in the US, but it is a huge bison
[8:06] Speaker 2: farming industry. I mean it's it's a meat meat industry, okay,
[8:09] Speaker 2: and it's wonderful. It's good meat and pizza and sick.
[8:13] Speaker 2: You never heard of it, Oh you never wanted, you
[8:15] Speaker 2: know what? Steak again.
[8:19] Speaker 3: It's really good, tasty, not fatty.
[8:22] Speaker 4: Our favorite restaurant here is an Italian restaurant called Regazza
[8:26] Speaker 4: to Buffalo, and they specialized in bison meat in Italian dishes.
[8:31] Speaker 4: Let me tell you, bison lasagna is fat.
[8:35] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, gotta run both Jimmy and are like, oh
[8:41] Speaker 1: look at me, I'm not making it and.
[8:45] Speaker 5: Goes on commercial break. I'm running downstairs.
[8:47] Speaker 3: For whatever reason, they got on napkins and a fork.
[8:50] Speaker 3: What is going on? Come from?
[8:55] Speaker 5: That's our cue.
[8:57] Speaker 4: You've got to cut the ature short today. We've got
[8:59] Speaker 4: to go cook some bison.
[9:04] Speaker 1: So in the parks with that kind of thing, they
[9:09] Speaker 1: don't go after the animals like they would in other places. Right,
[9:13] Speaker 1: what do you mean, like to hunt down the bison
[9:15] Speaker 1: and eliminate them.
[9:17] Speaker 4: They I don't think so. Yeah, I mean, well I
[9:19] Speaker 4: don't think so. It's not like it's not like the
[9:24] Speaker 4: bison is stalking people. It's just it's just being a bison,
[9:28] Speaker 4: is it.
[9:29] Speaker 5: I wouldn't think I think it's wrong.
[9:34] Speaker 4: I think it's just.
[9:35] Speaker 3: In a bad mood, you know, just crabby hot.
[9:38] Speaker 4: I said, I'm hot. They all this fur on me.
[9:40] Speaker 4: It's Summer's terrible.
[9:42] Speaker 3: They are massive, they are incredible.
[9:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you get one, you know, and you
[9:47] Speaker 4: can't hunt them, you can go shoot one and then
[9:50] Speaker 4: you got meet for five years, right, gotta be like
[9:54] Speaker 4: three freezers worth when you get one of those things.
[9:57] Speaker 3: Slightly bigger than your freight train.
[9:59] Speaker 4: Yes, because I know how big a moose is, and
[10:01] Speaker 4: this is probably four times bigger in terms of how
[10:05] Speaker 4: much meat you get.
[10:07] Speaker 6: Man.
[10:08] Speaker 4: But like you say, but good, there you go. We had,
[10:13] Speaker 4: actually we had moose tacos last night. Yeah, that was good.
[10:18] Speaker 3: What did you do with the handlers?
[10:21] Speaker 4: The handlers are beneath the deck. It's been almost a
[10:24] Speaker 4: year now. I'm thinking that maybe most of the gunk
[10:26] Speaker 4: is off of I got to boil out the skull
[10:29] Speaker 4: plate so I can put it on a board or
[10:30] Speaker 4: something quick.
[10:32] Speaker 3: Figure out what we're gonna do with it.
[10:35] Speaker 5: Keeps the bear out from under the deck, does it.
[10:37] Speaker 4: Well, actually I wondered about that. When we got the
[10:40] Speaker 4: picture of the bear right underneath the deck, I thought, well,
[10:43] Speaker 4: was he backer trying to get the But the only
[10:46] Speaker 4: reason I say this is because we have a friend
[10:48] Speaker 4: we hunt with and he got his first elk and
[10:52] Speaker 4: he has elk rack behind his shed drying, and came
[10:57] Speaker 4: home and the rack was gone and there was a
[11:00] Speaker 4: big pile of bear crap right there. Bear had taken it.
[11:04] Speaker 4: We have this image of the bear out in the
[11:06] Speaker 4: woods playing with this there. Oh look at me, I'm
[11:08] Speaker 4: an elk.
[11:15] Speaker 5: He didn't take the poop Taxi duramsteady, so all I
[11:18] Speaker 5: got left? Can you do anything with this?
[11:20] Speaker 3: This is just a deposit?
[11:24] Speaker 5: Oh my god, I'm sorry.
[11:26] Speaker 4: I need a break.
[11:27] Speaker 6: Absolutely from the range to the field, CZ firearms are
[11:37] Speaker 6: built to perform when it counts. Known for accuracy, durability,
[11:41] Speaker 6: and reliability, c Z stands apart. C Z built for
[11:45] Speaker 6: those who demand more CZ firearms dot com.
[11:56] Speaker 4: Oh do we mention that Michelle's fired.
[11:59] Speaker 3: I'm going on them, by y'all.
[12:05] Speaker 4: I'm just saying that we had a couple of callers
[12:07] Speaker 4: that did not make air here.
[12:11] Speaker 5: Lift standards.
[12:13] Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, we may have low standards, but they
[12:16] Speaker 4: were able to step underneath its Okay, oh gosh, yeah.
[12:20] Speaker 4: Not everybody gets the air just saying okay.
[12:25] Speaker 5: Wow, the three of us do because nobody's the boss
[12:30] Speaker 5: worth we're the ones setting the reference point. That's kind
[12:33] Speaker 5: of scary.
[12:35] Speaker 4: They got Collars said, I want to be the decider
[12:36] Speaker 4: if they're going to decide what you need. He says,
[12:39] Speaker 4: I want to be on the deciding committee, right.
[12:41] Speaker 3: And you don't want me to decide for you communists?
[12:46] Speaker 4: I did like that, Are you a communist?
[12:48] Speaker 5: I'm going to use that.
[12:50] Speaker 4: That is good when somebody says, well, why do you
[12:52] Speaker 4: need it, such as such, are you a communist?
[12:55] Speaker 5: You?
[12:56] Speaker 4: That's what comedists say. You don't need that, comrade, okay,
[13:00] Speaker 4: pretty not up to the government to tell me what
[13:01] Speaker 4: I need. Thank you very much, man, have it. So
[13:05] Speaker 4: I got a new pistol in and unfortunately not been
[13:07] Speaker 4: able to shoot it because I was going to take
[13:09] Speaker 4: it to the Steel Challenge yesterday. It is the Cult
[13:14] Speaker 4: Custom Limited. It's their custom shop nineteen eleven. Commander stupid.
[13:21] Speaker 1: I mean we could if you want to ship it
[13:23] Speaker 1: out to Ohio, we could probably take it out and
[13:24] Speaker 1: let you know how it goes.
[13:26] Speaker 4: Well, if you guys hold on, I can to step
[13:27] Speaker 4: outside it and just fire a few shots up in
[13:30] Speaker 4: the air with it being.
[13:30] Speaker 3: Called that's a great thing to do.
[13:34] Speaker 4: Everybody would just think it's high. He's just shooting that bear.
[13:37] Speaker 3: It's okay, right, or is it an milk?
[13:42] Speaker 4: It's a bear wearing elk.
[13:44] Speaker 3: It's a belk.
[13:48] Speaker 4: He looks like a little guy who is like boo
[13:51] Speaker 4: boo bear out there. But I still don't want to
[13:53] Speaker 4: run into him.
[13:54] Speaker 1: Right.
[13:56] Speaker 4: We did kind of figure out like it's just he's
[13:57] Speaker 4: just was going from trash can to trash skin, knocking
[14:00] Speaker 4: them all over. We're out there picking up the trash.
[14:02] Speaker 4: Next morning, boy.
[14:05] Speaker 3: You put an electric fence around your deck.
[14:09] Speaker 4: I actually thought about I have a full automatic BB gun.
[14:15] Speaker 4: I'm just thinking I could have twenty five rapid fire
[14:18] Speaker 4: shots that rear end by getting moving.
[14:21] Speaker 3: I might make you mad.
[14:23] Speaker 4: Well, there's that too, could go either way.
[14:25] Speaker 3: Hard to say.
[14:28] Speaker 4: That's when you roll up the window of your car
[14:29] Speaker 4: and drive off right drive by bear shooting.
[14:33] Speaker 2: I actually was going to have new theme music today,
[14:36] Speaker 2: time for you, but I just couldn't pull it together
[14:38] Speaker 2: in time. Let's tell I'm going to audition this is crude,
[14:41] Speaker 2: but I'm going to audition this. Tell me you think
[14:50] Speaker 2: that's right. If you throw out your back, you could
[14:52] Speaker 2: become a national radio talk show host on the topic
[14:55] Speaker 2: of guns and firearms.
[14:57] Speaker 5: Here's Tom Gresham.
[15:03] Speaker 4: You clearly have way too much time on your hand.
[15:06] Speaker 4: Don't you have.
[15:07] Speaker 3: Something to be doing over there?
[15:10] Speaker 5: You can't pay it for this.
[15:12] Speaker 4: And now we're gonna have to pay some kind of
[15:14] Speaker 4: stupid royalty.
[15:15] Speaker 2: For me music so much of it In court I
[15:18] Speaker 2: could say, yeah, but I was cheap shotting and for
[15:20] Speaker 2: hurting his back, and the judge would understand that's right.
[15:22] Speaker 4: It's a parody account. And besides, didn't you out over
[15:25] Speaker 4: the broadcast? Right?
[15:26] Speaker 5: Right, right, right?
[15:27] Speaker 4: So I'll just played it for the two people who
[15:29] Speaker 4: listened to the after show.
[15:31] Speaker 5: It's for both our fans.
[15:33] Speaker 4: That's right, exactly right. So let's see on the subject
[15:38] Speaker 4: of bad backs. Actually is one of the instructors at
[15:44] Speaker 4: a gun site was telling me he's gone to lighter
[15:46] Speaker 4: weight guns as he got older because he bore a
[15:48] Speaker 4: gun for thirty years as a police officer, and thinking,
[15:52] Speaker 4: you know, there are a lot of really nice lightweight
[15:55] Speaker 4: guns out now. You think of the shield and m
[16:00] Speaker 4: p shield, the Ruger Max nine, all of those are
[16:04] Speaker 4: very light polymer guns.
[16:06] Speaker 1: Well, you get the RXm and you can customize that
[16:10] Speaker 1: a lot to what you want.
[16:11] Speaker 2: You again, Yeah, that's funny. Ten years ago you would
[16:14] Speaker 2: this new three sixty five.
[16:16] Speaker 5: Is crazy still the number one gun.
[16:19] Speaker 3: So ten years is that crazy?
[16:22] Speaker 5: It has been that lit don close?
[16:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was before it was far before COVID happened,
[16:28] Speaker 1: So yeah, it's probably been. It's probably been eight ten years.
[16:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, and what a terrific platform reset the category really.
[16:37] Speaker 2: Yes, well it kind of got jump started I think
[16:39] Speaker 2: by the LCP and then two different things I realized.
[16:43] Speaker 2: But the LCP can say, wow, you can make something
[16:45] Speaker 2: that still shoots smaller. So then three sixty five was
[16:50] Speaker 2: a game changer as far as I'm concering.
[16:51] Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's one and a half of a double
[16:53] Speaker 1: stack yep, yeah, yeah, we're yeah, ten.
[16:56] Speaker 4: Twelve or even fifteen rounds. Yeah, So just it's a
[17:00] Speaker 4: different deal and it is a great carry gun. And
[17:03] Speaker 4: then you got what the Springfield hellthat and then it
[17:07] Speaker 4: was like everybody had one right and they're all you
[17:10] Speaker 4: know what, they're all better than they were. They all
[17:13] Speaker 4: all of them had pretty decent triggers. I mean, none
[17:16] Speaker 4: of them are really nice nineteen eleven triggers, but they're
[17:18] Speaker 4: all pretty decent these days.
[17:19] Speaker 5: But overall quality, you can't.
[17:21] Speaker 2: You can't put out a lousy gun now because of
[17:23] Speaker 2: the competition.
[17:24] Speaker 5: I mean, you can get one hundred and fifty dollars
[17:26] Speaker 5: pistol that's decent. You really can't.
[17:29] Speaker 2: You can't have a well it's low cost, So we'll
[17:31] Speaker 2: just throw out some junk guns, right you could forty
[17:33] Speaker 2: years ago.
[17:34] Speaker 4: Well, and people didn't have a way to share the information. Well,
[17:38] Speaker 4: now you get hammered online if you put out a
[17:40] Speaker 4: piece of junk people know about it.
[17:42] Speaker 5: Now you get hammered on line that people who never
[17:44] Speaker 5: touched the product or so.
[17:45] Speaker 4: There's that too. Yes, you know, I would never I'd
[17:49] Speaker 4: never buy one of those. Have you ever seen one?
[17:51] Speaker 4: Well no, but I wouldn't buy one.
[17:52] Speaker 3: Okay, are you a shooter?
[17:53] Speaker 4: No?
[17:54] Speaker 3: Eight guns? Okay?
[17:56] Speaker 2: Okay, So technically, yeah, you're right, you never would buy
[17:59] Speaker 2: one of those.
[18:01] Speaker 5: Yeah, he was, he was correct all the way or
[18:03] Speaker 5: anything else?
[18:04] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, you know. People say, well, you know,
[18:08] Speaker 4: nobody needs a corvette. Well, actually you're probably right about that. Fortunately,
[18:14] Speaker 4: that's really not a criteria at all. Just can I
[18:17] Speaker 4: afford it? Okay, or at least can I afford it
[18:21] Speaker 4: along with the bank until the bank gets tired of
[18:23] Speaker 4: me not making the payments?
[18:24] Speaker 5: Nice, Yeah, there's that, But you can.
[18:27] Speaker 4: Get what three four months before the repossessed something like that.
[18:31] Speaker 5: Sure, and if you move it around, at least.
[18:33] Speaker 2: In my experience, that's what The way we do it
[18:36] Speaker 2: here is.
[18:39] Speaker 3: At my buddy's house. It's at the hangars.
[18:43] Speaker 5: You know.
[18:43] Speaker 4: It's funny. I am not really a car guy, and
[18:47] Speaker 4: something like a Corvette I think they're cool. I love
[18:49] Speaker 4: to look at him. No interest in owning anything like that.
[18:53] Speaker 4: But you talk to me about like a forty or
[18:56] Speaker 4: fifty year old Toyota FJ forty you know land.
[19:00] Speaker 5: Oh yeah, definitely.
[19:02] Speaker 4: Oh, land Rovers, things like that.
[19:03] Speaker 5: Why do you need that grass?
[19:06] Speaker 4: Well, fortunately I don't. And the fact that I don't
[19:10] Speaker 4: turn wrenches tells me that I don't need one of
[19:12] Speaker 4: those either, because you've got to be able to work
[19:14] Speaker 4: on something like that.
[19:15] Speaker 5: So we can rule out gunsmithing.
[19:18] Speaker 4: Yes, we have ruled that one out a long long
[19:20] Speaker 4: time ago. I'm a box aparts kind of gunsmith, that's
[19:24] Speaker 4: for sure.
[19:25] Speaker 3: You're left over with the box aparts.
[19:28] Speaker 4: I take I take it to Michelle's husband.
[19:30] Speaker 2: Can you put this back to the other That's what
[19:33] Speaker 2: I did when I upgraded my UH optic on.
[19:37] Speaker 5: I jogged apart and I forgot to put the extractor back.
[19:40] Speaker 2: And I told chat, I said, you know, sometimes it shoots,
[19:42] Speaker 2: sometimes extracts, sometimes it doesn't. He's like, I probably extract
[19:45] Speaker 2: more consistently if you put the extractor back.
[19:48] Speaker 4: An extractor, I don't know, just saying, get a dude,
[19:53] Speaker 4: but I could take a screwdriver and stuff it in
[19:55] Speaker 4: there and pop that shell right out.
[19:57] Speaker 5: It's convenient. Oh my, it's on the line. Hang out
[20:00] Speaker 5: a second. I gotta get out of this jeweler screw drive.
[20:03] Speaker 4: I am sure Michelle that gunsmith could just tell all
[20:07] Speaker 4: sorts of stories about what comes in.
[20:08] Speaker 1: Oh yes, and it used to be a lot of
[20:11] Speaker 1: them started. I watched this guy on YouTube. It's like,
[20:13] Speaker 1: just bring me, just bring me the box or the
[20:15] Speaker 1: ziplug baggy or whatever it is.
[20:18] Speaker 3: You have everything contained in.
[20:19] Speaker 4: Try to round up all the parts.
[20:21] Speaker 5: Please lift up your couch because there's going to be
[20:23] Speaker 5: a spring under it.
[20:24] Speaker 1: Right well, or you know, people try to not tell
[20:28] Speaker 1: the rest of the story.
[20:30] Speaker 3: Or the whole story to a buddy, and this is
[20:35] Speaker 3: how I got it back.
[20:36] Speaker 5: Here's the level I'm willing to admit to.
[20:40] Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and I wonder do they ever come
[20:42] Speaker 4: back in such a form that you just say, yeah,
[20:44] Speaker 4: I'm sorry, this cannot be fixed. We're gonna have to
[20:47] Speaker 4: trash it.
[20:47] Speaker 3: You're missing too many parts or can't.
[20:50] Speaker 4: Found, or maybe you run into a drimbal tool gunsmith.
[20:55] Speaker 4: Oh mean you can ruin a gun on a hurry
[20:57] Speaker 4: with a drimble tool. Yep, but at least it's quickly efficient.
[21:02] Speaker 5: Now, when I dropped that gun off, I swore it
[21:04] Speaker 5: had a beaver tail.
[21:07] Speaker 4: We're short, met little bit, it doesn't matter, so okay.
[21:11] Speaker 4: So I'm kind of collecting a bunch of nine millimeter
[21:14] Speaker 4: carry guns. I got the Dan Weston Guardian, which is
[21:18] Speaker 4: their lightweight commander, and then I just got the Dan
[21:21] Speaker 4: Weston DWX, really nice pistol, kind of a goofy combination gun.
[21:27] Speaker 5: And then this Colt.
[21:28] Speaker 4: So you know, I've got all the plastic guns. I'm
[21:32] Speaker 4: kind of going through some of the metal guns right now,
[21:33] Speaker 4: alloy and steel, just trying different ones, having a bunch
[21:37] Speaker 4: of fun around here.
[21:38] Speaker 3: Cool sounds like a terrible job.
[21:40] Speaker 2: Let us let us know how the back heels throughout
[21:42] Speaker 2: the week. I'm worried about that.
[21:44] Speaker 4: Oh it'll be fine, it's yea. I've had it before.
[21:48] Speaker 4: The worst that hit me was actually on a mountain
[21:50] Speaker 4: in Alaska on a sheep hunter. I was actually directing
[21:53] Speaker 4: a TV show. I wouldn't hunter and bit over to
[21:57] Speaker 4: pick up a pair of socks and just bang. I
[22:00] Speaker 4: was literally on my back for forty eight hours, and
[22:04] Speaker 4: then when it was time to leave, had to pack
[22:07] Speaker 4: everything up in the backpack and put it on my
[22:09] Speaker 4: back and climb out of the mountain. I just went around.
[22:11] Speaker 4: All right, everybody gives me all your pain meds that
[22:14] Speaker 4: you have.
[22:14] Speaker 3: I'm taking them, all right, Or I'll tell you what.
[22:18] Speaker 3: You carry this bag and I'll meet you down.
[22:21] Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody had a bag to carry. That was the
[22:23] Speaker 4: whole thing.
[22:24] Speaker 3: Oh oh man, Yeah.
[22:26] Speaker 4: You just living off of vitamin and eye. Give me
[22:29] Speaker 4: some ivy program.
[22:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, some heat nice.
[22:32] Speaker 5: That's what I'm heading for right now.
[22:33] Speaker 7: Yeah heat nice. Alternate there you go. We'll care for it,
[22:36] Speaker 7: will you. I will take care of that because I
[22:39] Speaker 7: got guns to choose. Man, sir, Well, you guys have
[22:41] Speaker 7: a wonderful week and mention Michelle, you're fired.
[22:46] Speaker 3: Hi everybody.
[22:47] Speaker 5: Yeah, now he's going to run for president. Padge, have
[22:54] Speaker 5: a great.
[22:54] Speaker 3: Week, by too.
[22:56] Speaker 1: We'll catch you next time for the gun talk after show,
[23:01] Speaker 1: said
