[0:32] Speaker 3: He was the first and he's still the best. For
[0:35] Speaker 3: thirty years, Tom Gresham has been your trusted source on
[0:38] Speaker 3: all things ballistic, new guns, Second Amendment, personal protection, deep.
[0:43] Speaker 4: Part of it.
[0:44] Speaker 3: Paul, Tom Talk Gun. Now, here's Tom.
[0:51] Speaker 4: All right, it's time for Gun Talk. I'm Tom Gresham,
[0:54] Speaker 4: your host. It's another week of fun and frivolity, talk
[0:58] Speaker 4: about guns, the things that go back, and a lot
[1:00] Speaker 4: of things going on. And you'll have us here to
[1:02] Speaker 4: give us a call. If you got a gun or
[1:04] Speaker 4: an experience at the range, or maybe you did a
[1:06] Speaker 4: hunt you want to talk about, you could call me
[1:08] Speaker 4: a Tom Talk Gun. That's the number, easy enough to remember. Now.
[1:12] Speaker 4: Of course we like to talk about the Second Amendment
[1:14] Speaker 4: and gun rights and everything else, but we also like
[1:16] Speaker 4: to talk about guns and AMMO and cool stuff. Well,
[1:20] Speaker 4: something just happened a couple of days ago. That's one
[1:22] Speaker 4: of the more exciting things I've seen in fifty plus
[1:25] Speaker 4: years of doing this journey. Right now to talk about
[1:28] Speaker 4: that is Josh Vickers from Federal Characters. Josh, you guys
[1:33] Speaker 4: just made this massive announcement. I mean you had something
[1:36] Speaker 4: out like a year ago with the seventh back Country,
[1:39] Speaker 4: but holy cow, you want to explain what just happened
[1:41] Speaker 4: On Friday?
[1:42] Speaker 5: We launched six five creed More plus Peak and you
[1:46] Speaker 5: know what that is, in a nutshell, is we're taking
[1:49] Speaker 5: standard sixty five creed more dimensional cases and applying our
[1:53] Speaker 5: Peak alloy technology to it. So really, in a nutshell,
[1:57] Speaker 5: what we're doing is given the six to five creed
[1:58] Speaker 5: more some jet fuel.
[2:00] Speaker 4: All right, So the Peak alloy technology, it's a different
[2:03] Speaker 4: kind of material to make the rifle cartridge case. And
[2:07] Speaker 4: you did that with the back count, and we aut said, okay,
[2:10] Speaker 4: well you've done this at a separate cartridge to keep
[2:12] Speaker 4: anybody from putting that in their rifles. But evidently we
[2:14] Speaker 4: were not correct on that. Because this is an actual,
[2:18] Speaker 4: real sixty five creed More cartridge. You can put it
[2:20] Speaker 4: in your existing six y five creed More rifle, and
[2:24] Speaker 4: yet it's generating somewhere around eighty thousand PSI as opposed
[2:30] Speaker 4: to the sixty five thousand standard. How can you do that?
[2:34] Speaker 4: How can we put that in our gun and not
[2:35] Speaker 4: blow it up?
[2:37] Speaker 6: Yeah?
[2:37] Speaker 5: Yeah, right, and that's a common question we get. So, yeah,
[2:40] Speaker 5: utilizing the strength of that peak alloy case technology. You
[2:44] Speaker 5: know what that ultimately does is that it makes your
[2:48] Speaker 5: case or the case, the peak alloy case kind of
[2:51] Speaker 5: the pressure vessel, so it kind of takes the forces
[2:54] Speaker 5: away from the rifle per se by you know, the
[2:57] Speaker 5: strength of the case.
[2:59] Speaker 4: Okay, So I mean really can take this and put
[3:02] Speaker 4: it in my existing sixty five creed More and shoot
[3:06] Speaker 4: it and get We're not talking about just a little
[3:08] Speaker 4: bit more velocity. We're talking about a substantial increase in velocity.
[3:14] Speaker 4: In fact, it actually leap frogs the sixty five PRC.
[3:19] Speaker 4: You're getting velocities out of a creed More they're faster
[3:21] Speaker 4: than out of a standard PRC.
[3:23] Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, and you know, and that's you know again,
[3:26] Speaker 5: that goes back to the beauty of the peak ally
[3:28] Speaker 5: case technology and allowing us to run to those higher pressures.
[3:31] Speaker 5: You know what we're saying, you know, and on average
[3:33] Speaker 5: is what you'll see on our packaging is three hundred
[3:35] Speaker 5: feet per second faster for a lake bullet, you.
[3:38] Speaker 7: Know, going from peak.
[3:39] Speaker 5: Alloy from brass case creed More and one hundred feet
[3:44] Speaker 5: faster than sixty five PRC for the like bullets they
[3:48] Speaker 5: are one thirty terminal set.
[3:49] Speaker 4: We shot some out of an eighteen inch barrel using
[3:52] Speaker 4: one hundred and thirty grain bullet, and we were getting
[3:55] Speaker 4: three thousand feet per second out of an eighteen inch
[3:59] Speaker 4: barrel with a creed More, not a PRC with a
[4:01] Speaker 4: creed More.
[4:02] Speaker 6: Uh.
[4:02] Speaker 4: And then of course some people are gonna want shorter
[4:05] Speaker 4: barrels as they go short and short used in comps.
[4:08] Speaker 4: So you you basically are going to get full velocity
[4:12] Speaker 4: out of a much shorter barrow.
[4:14] Speaker 7: With this correct correct you know, and that and that
[4:17] Speaker 7: just goes back.
[4:17] Speaker 5: You know, the modern Western hunter, you know, is always
[4:20] Speaker 5: looking for a shorter and more compact system the way
[4:22] Speaker 5: they can run suppressors. And so really this is this
[4:25] Speaker 5: is really going to be a sweet, sweet round for
[4:27] Speaker 5: those guys that like that six to five caliber.
[4:30] Speaker 4: I'm thinking about this. You know, obviously, this is a technology.
[4:35] Speaker 4: It's not a cartridge. So this technology can be applied
[4:39] Speaker 4: to any number of cartridges. You essentially are magnimizing standard cartridges.
[4:45] Speaker 4: I mean you've created a six' five magnum in the
[4:50] Speaker 4: just out of a regular six five Creed more.
[4:52] Speaker 7: Rifle, yeah and keep it in a short.
[4:54] Speaker 4: Action so clearly the next question is how about other.
[4:58] Speaker 5: Calibers, YEAH i MEAN i you, know we're we're always
[5:01] Speaker 5: thinking about the future and what we're going to, do
[5:03] Speaker 5: and and you know WHAT i can say right now
[5:04] Speaker 5: is you, know we're we're in full support and fully
[5:07] Speaker 5: behind the peak alloy, technology and we're looking we'll be
[5:10] Speaker 5: looking to expand here over the.
[5:11] Speaker 4: Years so IF i just imagining, that IF i took
[5:15] Speaker 4: that same technology and what you're doing with, that put
[5:17] Speaker 4: it into a thirty out, Six i'm going to have
[5:20] Speaker 4: a three hundred magnum or maybe even vosities beyond a
[5:22] Speaker 4: three hundred. Magnum so people are not going to have
[5:25] Speaker 4: to buy necessarily a new rifle to get a.
[5:28] Speaker 5: Magnum LIKE i, said that just goes back to the
[5:31] Speaker 5: beauty of the peak alley and what potential it, carries you,
[5:34] Speaker 5: know in what it can do for more calibers in the.
[5:36] Speaker 4: Future, okay SO i can see that there's not a
[5:41] Speaker 4: problem in a bolt, gun But i'm thinking about. Semiautos
[5:45] Speaker 4: how does this affect the bolt?
[5:47] Speaker 5: Velocity so right, now you know we're what we've been
[5:50] Speaker 5: working through all the gas guns out. There you, know
[5:54] Speaker 5: ultimately you're gonna have to check with your firearm. Manufacture
[5:57] Speaker 5: and that's what we're going to say about all this in.
[6:00] Speaker 5: General you can always reference our website as well for you,
[6:05] Speaker 5: know the updated list of gun companies that have adopted
[6:07] Speaker 5: this and that we've worked, with and so that that's
[6:09] Speaker 5: a good starting point as far as that.
[6:11] Speaker 7: Goes but WHAT i can say from our testing here.
[6:14] Speaker 5: Is that we've been we've been on power and doing
[6:16] Speaker 5: well with it in short barrel or gas guns.
[6:19] Speaker 4: Atually, okay and gas guns they're. Working, okay what's the
[6:22] Speaker 4: cost of THE MS i, mean it's going to be
[6:23] Speaker 4: considerably more expensive than you, know REGULAR.
[6:26] Speaker 7: Ammo, nope it won't.
[6:28] Speaker 5: Be, actually it's going to be priced in lines you,
[6:30] Speaker 5: KNOW i would say somewhere right now in between you,
[6:32] Speaker 5: know six' five creed more and six five P.
[6:35] Speaker 7: R c so you know it's going to depend on
[6:37] Speaker 7: where you.
[6:37] Speaker 5: Purchase it but, it'll be it'll land somewhere in there
[6:40] Speaker 5: in terms of, you know price to.
[6:42] Speaker 7: Brass, pieces wow.
[6:45] Speaker 4: Reloaders are going to ask about. THE cases i want
[6:48] Speaker 4: to call, it brass but it's actually it's a it's
[6:50] Speaker 4: a steel an, alloy steel isn't?
[6:53] Speaker 7: It, correct yep it's a. Steel alloy are we going
[6:56] Speaker 7: to get that? For, reloaders yep you and you'll be
[7:00] Speaker 7: able to look, for it. You know and we're working
[7:02] Speaker 7: with a lot of reloading manufacturers right now.
[7:05] Speaker 5: To get ahead, of THAT so i would you, know
[7:06] Speaker 5: again just like the, gun manufacturers you can reach out
[7:09] Speaker 5: to your favorite reloading company and see what. They, have
[7:12] Speaker 5: otherwise keep tabs on our website and we'll keep an
[7:15] Speaker 5: updated list of.
[7:16] Speaker 7: All the people who will be.
[7:17] Speaker 4: LAUNCHING products i am guessing we probably should add. Right,
[7:20] Speaker 4: here look just because we're going, to say, all right
[7:23] Speaker 4: here's some loads you can use and crank it up
[7:26] Speaker 4: to EIGHTY thousand psi and it's safe in. Your gun
[7:29] Speaker 4: the critical part is you cannot do that with your existing. Brass, cases, correct.
[7:34] Speaker 5: Correct Yep you we definitely won't want to do that
[7:37] Speaker 5: in your. Brass case we'll get a lot of head
[7:39] Speaker 5: flow and set back primers and, you know the traditional
[7:42] Speaker 5: signs of.
[7:42] Speaker 4: High PRESSURE as i look, At this i'm thinking the
[7:47] Speaker 4: six to Five creed More and i'm just going to
[7:49] Speaker 4: throw out normally call it twenty seven hundred feet. Per
[7:51] Speaker 4: second now we're at, three thousand and you start applying
[7:55] Speaker 4: that technology across. The board why would anybody want standard
[8:00] Speaker 4: ammunition that is three hundred feet per? Second?
[8:04] Speaker 5: SLOWER yeah I mean i, would say, you know there
[8:07] Speaker 5: will still be a place, For IT and i, actually think,
[8:09] Speaker 5: you know it makes it more universal because not everybody
[8:12] Speaker 5: is going to want super. High performance and say you're traditional,
[8:16] Speaker 5: you know six five freed more terminal assent.
[8:18] Speaker 7: Or power shock or whatever your favorite, load.
[8:20] Speaker 5: Is shoots fine and gets a job done, for YOU
[8:23] Speaker 5: then i would say that customer.
[8:25] Speaker 7: Doesn't necessarily need this to soup.
[8:27] Speaker 5: Up advantage but like, you know as you're probably well
[8:30] Speaker 5: aware Of the western hunter and the guys, you know
[8:32] Speaker 5: stretching it out that want a little bit more kinetic
[8:35] Speaker 5: energy and a flatter, shooting gun this. Is IT so,
[8:37] Speaker 5: i think, you know really you can look at this
[8:39] Speaker 5: as making the six to five creed more more universal as. A, WHOLE.
[8:42] Speaker 4: Yeah i want to hear you tell, Guy, that yeah
[8:45] Speaker 4: you can get a four hundred horse power truck or
[8:47] Speaker 4: three hundred horse power truck for the. Same, price yeah
[8:49] Speaker 4: there's a real reason you want the. THREE hundred i don't.
[8:51] Speaker 4: THINK so.
[8:53] Speaker 7: I doubt. I, DOUBT.
[8:57] Speaker 6: Oh.
[8:57] Speaker 4: I know can you apply this technology to handgun cartridges?
[9:03] Speaker 5: Right now that that's not something CURRENTLY that i don't
[9:06] Speaker 5: think we're, working ON.
[9:09] Speaker 7: But i want, you know you never know what might
[9:11] Speaker 7: happen in.
[9:11] Speaker 4: The, Future yeah i'm thinking about a nine. MILIMETER magnum,
[9:14] Speaker 4: i mean there's just all sorts of things that could.
[9:15] Speaker 4: To mind, all right we ought to spin, around too
[9:18] Speaker 4: like several, days ago fed or just sign an agreement
[9:21] Speaker 4: With The United states army to basically license or use
[9:26] Speaker 4: this technology for cartridges used In. The army you want
[9:28] Speaker 4: to talk about that and what the possibilities.
[9:30] Speaker 5: May, BE yeah, i mean you know that that was
[9:34] Speaker 5: a huge win for us and we're super EXCITED and,
[9:36] Speaker 5: i think, you know ultimately what that shows is you
[9:38] Speaker 5: know what what this technology is capable of and how
[9:42] Speaker 5: much you know we're investing into it for. THE future
[9:44] Speaker 5: i know that was, you know some of the big
[9:46] Speaker 5: hurdles with the Seven back country is to support its.
[9:48] Speaker 5: New technology so for the consumer looking, at that going, oh,
[9:52] Speaker 5: no great they're gonna, you know just fully. Support that
[9:55] Speaker 5: we're still going to try to, support everything and we're
[9:58] Speaker 5: super excited and we're only looking to expand as you.
[10:02] Speaker 4: Go forward i'm, just, thinking okay we can. Go faster
[10:05] Speaker 4: but the other question is is? It accurate how is
[10:08] Speaker 4: it testing?
[10:08] Speaker 7: For?
[10:08] Speaker 5: You, now yeah, so far all of our accuracy that
[10:11] Speaker 5: we've shot and what the customer should expect is is
[10:15] Speaker 5: nothing less than, you know our normal federal.
[10:17] Speaker 7: Premium standard so.
[10:19] Speaker 4: Everybody's thinking, Right, now okay let's see more vasty roughly the.
[10:23] Speaker 4: Same price WHEN can i? Get?
[10:25] Speaker 7: It yep so we'll Be shipping, august first.
[10:30] Speaker 4: Just in time for. Hunting, season yep.
[10:32] Speaker 7: Just in time for, hunting season.
[10:34] Speaker 5: You know and part, of that, you know customers can,
[10:37] Speaker 5: look for, you know we we've added some, you know
[10:39] Speaker 5: heavier for caliber, type.
[10:40] Speaker 7: Bullets like like like what you would see in SIXTY.
[10:42] Speaker 5: Five prc so we'll have we'll be offering one hundred
[10:45] Speaker 5: and thirty Grain terminal ascent one hundred and fifty three
[10:48] Speaker 5: grains here a tip to match king one hundred and
[10:51] Speaker 5: fifty five grain, fusion tips which is new and it
[10:54] Speaker 5: is a, great product a One Six Burger, elite hunter
[10:58] Speaker 5: and then those people looking for a, monolithtic.
[11:00] Speaker 7: Offering we'll have a one TWENTY. Seven.
[11:02] Speaker 4: Rx wow that's a heck of a. Nice, lineup okay
[11:06] Speaker 4: so it's not. Out YET so i want to be
[11:09] Speaker 4: one of, the first not, The first i'm sure. To,
[11:11] Speaker 4: say okay, that's GREAT but i want you to bring
[11:13] Speaker 4: out some other.
[11:13] Speaker 7: Calibers, Too okay, oh yeah.
[11:16] Speaker 6: You're not you're definitely not.
[11:17] Speaker 7: The first.
[11:20] Speaker 4: Uh is there any chance we would see any other
[11:22] Speaker 4: cartridges brought out?
[11:24] Speaker 7: This year likely not for. This, Year, no.
[11:26] Speaker 4: Okay you gotta get this thing. Running, first.
[11:29] Speaker 7: Yep yep we'll get this one going and getting off,
[11:31] Speaker 7: the ground.
[11:31] Speaker 4: All right so start from. The beginning what is? It
[11:34] Speaker 4: called it.
[11:35] Speaker 7: Is called six' five creed more plus peak.
[11:39] Speaker 4: Plus peak peak RATHER. THAN plus p i.
[11:42] Speaker 7: Love it exactly you have a little play, On, words.
[11:45] Speaker 4: There WELL this, is i mean the word game changer is,
[11:49] Speaker 4: used a lot and usually. IT'S not applicable i think
[11:52] Speaker 4: in this case. It REALLY is and i can. Just
[11:54] Speaker 4: see this, OH oh OH i don't i got to ask
[11:57] Speaker 4: you any talk about possibly license this TECHNOLOGY to? Other
[12:01] Speaker 4: ammo companies.
[12:03] Speaker 7: Uh not at not.
[12:04] Speaker 5: At this time you never know what the, future might
[12:06] Speaker 5: hold but right now we're keeping this technology tight.
[12:09] Speaker 4: To the chest and who? Can, blame, you, yeah no
[12:11] Speaker 4: truly this is changing a. Lot of things and the
[12:14] Speaker 4: fact that you can now have a magnum in, your
[12:16] Speaker 4: regular rifle don't have, to rebarrel it don't have, to
[12:17] Speaker 4: do anything JUST put different ammo in it and go
[12:20] Speaker 4: out and cite it in, check it out and the
[12:22] Speaker 4: drop tables are going to be different obviously because you've.
[12:24] Speaker 4: Got different, velocity but man. THIS is exciting i. Cannot
[12:27] Speaker 4: believe it you guys have knocked it out of the park.
[12:29] Speaker 7: With, this, one yeah no we're.
[12:30] Speaker 5: We're super excited and we know that, that you know there's
[12:32] Speaker 5: obviously lots.
[12:33] Speaker 7: And lots of Sixty five creed, moores out there.
[12:36] Speaker 5: So we're looking forward to the customers getting in their
[12:38] Speaker 5: hands and getting those, you gripping grins.
[12:40] Speaker 4: And you know what's. Going to happen this is also
[12:42] Speaker 4: going to cost a lot of people to go out
[12:43] Speaker 4: and buy a new six To five. Creed more rifle.
[12:46] Speaker 7: That's always, a, Good thing right we all need.
[12:50] Speaker 4: This, is true right we need to be selling more

[16:00] Speaker 4: Your range reports if your's a bit out of the range.
[16:03] Speaker 4: Doing little shooting got, a new gun maybe you got.
[16:06] Speaker 4: AN old gun. I don't care we'll just give. Me
[16:08] Speaker 4: a call we'll. Talk about it but the big story
[16:12] Speaker 4: is when. WE just announced i knew. THIS was coming
[16:16] Speaker 4: i teased. IT last, week i said you got a
[16:17] Speaker 4: tune end because there's, something BIG coming and i want
[16:21] Speaker 4: to make sure everybody understands AT least what i, think
[16:25] Speaker 4: about this AND that, is I think. AND i'll try i
[16:30] Speaker 4: have not wanted to go to, hyperbole A lot but
[16:34] Speaker 4: i really do think this technology may be the biggest
[16:39] Speaker 4: thing to happen to ammunition since the advent. Of, smokeless powder,
[16:46] Speaker 4: seriously smokeless power gave us a whole. Lot more velocity
[16:52] Speaker 4: they Gave us our. Martred rifle cartridges what you have
[16:57] Speaker 4: now and there are more questions than are. Answers right
[17:01] Speaker 4: now But you got federal introducing the sixty five creed
[17:06] Speaker 4: more in what they. Call plus peak they're using a
[17:10] Speaker 4: different material to make. The rifle cases, it's not brass
[17:16] Speaker 4: it's actually. A seal alloy and look they did. This
[17:20] Speaker 4: last year they brought up the sublimeter back country and
[17:24] Speaker 4: with that they were able to go to eighty thousand
[17:28] Speaker 4: pounds per square edge pressure. In, the case now your
[17:32] Speaker 4: typical rifle cartridge is in the sixty to, sixty two
[17:36] Speaker 4: thousand maybe as much as sixty. Five thousand psi when
[17:40] Speaker 4: you could crank that up, to eighty thousand you, get
[17:43] Speaker 4: more velocity, simple as, that more. Pressure more velocity but
[17:48] Speaker 4: y'all simpre pressure, on your gun all. Things being equal but,
[17:53] Speaker 4: in this case all things are not equal because you're
[17:57] Speaker 4: not using a brass case that actually transfers most of
[18:03] Speaker 4: that pressure to. The rifle chamber you're using a steel
[18:09] Speaker 4: alloy case that, Contains the pressure it, holds the pressure
[18:15] Speaker 4: and so that's how they are able let's make sure.
[18:18] Speaker 4: Everybody's understanding this you don't need a new. Rifle for
[18:22] Speaker 4: this you can use your existing Sixty five creed more
[18:26] Speaker 4: rifle and put this ammunition in it and it will
[18:31] Speaker 4: RUN eighty thousand psi and your rifle won't. Know the
[18:35] Speaker 4: difference that's the. Important part here your rifle won't know
[18:41] Speaker 4: the difference in terms of pressure that's going to give
[18:46] Speaker 4: you depending, on the load somewhere around three hundred feet per.
[18:51] Speaker 4: Second more velocity that's moving from a standard cartridge to.
[18:55] Speaker 4: A magnum cartridge actually THE, sixty five prc which is.
[18:58] Speaker 4: The magnum verse you have the Six five creed more with.
[19:01] Speaker 4: A larger case this load In a creed more is
[19:06] Speaker 4: one hundred feet per second FASTER. Than the prc you're
[19:13] Speaker 4: probably getting right around this two sixty four win mag from.
[19:18] Speaker 4: Way way back pretty crazy what's. Going on here.
[19:25] Speaker 6: And it.
[19:26] Speaker 4: Is completely interchangeable so if YOU'VE got an ar and
[19:29] Speaker 4: Sixty five creed more or a bolt gun and Six,
[19:31] Speaker 4: five creed more you just get. The same one put
[19:33] Speaker 4: it in and you. Get more velocity now you'll have
[19:36] Speaker 4: to cite it again because it's not. The same. Velocity
[19:39] Speaker 4: big deal you. CAN do that i asked THE question
[19:44] Speaker 4: when i was doing The, interview with josh is does
[19:49] Speaker 4: this BASICALLY make? Other ammo obsolete and, he said, no
[19:52] Speaker 4: NOT really and i think he's probably, right on that
[19:58] Speaker 4: but it does changed, things A lot and i think,
[20:01] Speaker 4: you'll see many many other cartridges brought. Out with. This
[20:04] Speaker 4: oh yeah one of the, questions we get and we're
[20:06] Speaker 4: gonna address this throughout. THE show today a lot of
[20:10] Speaker 4: questions is will it burn? Up my barrel will it
[20:13] Speaker 4: burn out? Barrels more quickly the answer right now. Is
[20:18] Speaker 4: probably not, BUT you know i hedged. A little bit
[20:26] Speaker 4: there's something else going on here and we're gonna talk
[20:28] Speaker 4: about that as, we go forward because we've got some other,
[20:31] Speaker 4: experts coming up and that is that we have new.
[20:34] Speaker 4: Barrels coming out there's a lot of technology coming out
[20:38] Speaker 4: kind of at the same time or maybe based on
[20:40] Speaker 4: this or, BECAUSE of this, i don't know but it's
[20:43] Speaker 4: happened at. The same time we're gonna have new barrels made.
[20:47] Speaker 4: Of different materials we already have new barrels with different.
[20:55] Speaker 4: Rifling twist rates and for this do you got to?
[21:00] Speaker 4: Go way back and this is coming out. Of proof
[21:03] Speaker 4: research if you, go way back you'll look up you'll
[21:06] Speaker 4: find reference to. Gain twist rifling that, is the rifling
[21:12] Speaker 4: the rate at which the spin goes, in your barrel,
[21:16] Speaker 4: of the rifling the cuts. In the barrel it starts
[21:19] Speaker 4: out with a slow twist rate and speeds up as
[21:21] Speaker 4: it goes, down the barrel so that the bullet when
[21:25] Speaker 4: it enters the barrel doesn't immediately go from no twists
[21:30] Speaker 4: to a one nine or one, and seven twists a
[21:32] Speaker 4: fast twist that imparts a lot of torque, on a
[21:35] Speaker 4: bullet and that causes. Pressures. To Spike well proof research
[21:42] Speaker 4: has SOMETHING called their, pxt barrel rifling and it's a
[21:47] Speaker 4: new version, of gain twist and it starts out with
[21:50] Speaker 4: a very slow twist rate and speeds up as the
[21:52] Speaker 4: bullet goes. Down, the bore well that reduces the initial,
[21:56] Speaker 4: Spike of pressure it reduces the torque of the bullet
[22:03] Speaker 4: and probably puts less stress. On the bullet it could
[22:07] Speaker 4: conceivably lead. To better accuracy we don't know yet a
[22:11] Speaker 4: lot of things, going on here but this is. Pretty
[22:13] Speaker 4: exciting stuff so the question is are you? Excited about
[22:15] Speaker 4: this would you like to have this kind of technology,
[22:18] Speaker 4: in other, cartridges other calibers, and if, so which ones
[22:23] Speaker 4: and would you be willing to use this six fike
[22:24] Speaker 4: feed more mo in your existing Six' five creed more
[22:28] Speaker 4: rifle number here. Is eight. Sixty Six Talk. Gun i'm
[22:31] Speaker 4: tom gresha. This is gun talk it's actually hit a
[22:40] Speaker 4: little bit hard to get my head around to the
[22:42] Speaker 4: idea that there's a new cartridge out that has magnum
[22:48] Speaker 4: velocity and power and yet you can shoot it. In
[22:51] Speaker 4: your existing rifle, you don't have to you don't have to.
[22:55] Speaker 4: Get a new rifle you don't have to. Buy a
[22:56] Speaker 4: magnum Rifle that's the new Federal six Fi creed more
[23:01] Speaker 4: plus peak. USING their cartridge case i have to be careful.
[23:08] Speaker 4: Always won't say brass and it's not because we. Call
[23:11] Speaker 4: cartridge cases, brass in this case it's. Not made of
[23:13] Speaker 4: brass it's made. Of a steel alloy and because, of
[23:17] Speaker 4: a steel alloy that's not like a regular steel cartridge,
[23:20] Speaker 4: case that, we know The old, the old russian ambo.
[23:23] Speaker 4: That kind of stuff it's. Not that at all it,
[23:27] Speaker 4: seals in the chamber, holds the pressure in doesn't doesn't
[23:37] Speaker 4: let the added pressure of the case go out. To
[23:42] Speaker 4: impact the rifle. This is so weird i'm. Just working
[23:46] Speaker 4: on this so you can shoot it in your existing
[23:50] Speaker 4: six five creed more and the rifle. Doesn't know the.
[23:53] Speaker 4: Difference it doesn't care what do you? Get out of
[23:56] Speaker 4: it you get more velocity except that maybe you don't think,
[24:01] Speaker 4: about it this way because this is. What's, really going
[24:03] Speaker 4: on okay this. Is what's driving this we have a move.
[24:07] Speaker 4: To shorter rifle barrels people want considered be shorter barrels
[24:14] Speaker 4: so they can put. Some pressures on them so if
[24:16] Speaker 4: you stick us, a pressure on it that's. What six
[24:19] Speaker 4: inches long and if you've got a, twenty four inch
[24:23] Speaker 4: barrel now you got a thirty inch barrel with. A
[24:26] Speaker 4: can on it that is unwieldy. To say the least
[24:31] Speaker 4: but what if you could cut that barrel back from twenty.
[24:33] Speaker 4: Four to, sixteen inches we can and you could put.
[24:37] Speaker 4: The pressure on it but when you cut six, inches
[24:40] Speaker 4: off the. Barrel you lose velocity we know this what the.
[24:46] Speaker 4: Plus peak cartridge does it lets you get back that
[24:52] Speaker 4: standard velocity. With A shorter barrel and i'm talking, about
[24:56] Speaker 4: really shorter barrels like, not just sixteen inches but and twelve. And,
[25:00] Speaker 4: ten inch barrels yeah a ten. Inch, barrel hunting rifle sure,
[25:07] Speaker 4: you'd have. To sbright big deal. It's a form one
[25:10] Speaker 4: doesn't cost. You any money anymore now you got the
[25:14] Speaker 4: super short rifle with a can and it's handy and you.
[25:21] Speaker 4: Can hunt with it oh but what? ELSE COULD. You
[25:23] Speaker 4: do o g you could use that. As yourself defense
[25:26] Speaker 4: gun you could have that as. Your home defense gun
[25:30] Speaker 4: an ar with a ten inch. Barrel with a can
[25:36] Speaker 4: but of course you didn't want to. Give up the
[25:38] Speaker 4: velocity now you don't, have to the military and we're
[25:43] Speaker 4: going to talk about this. In the next hour the
[25:44] Speaker 4: military has been doing, a lot, with this and yeah
[25:48] Speaker 4: they didn't STOP. At eighty thousand psi they. Can do
[25:51] Speaker 4: EXPERIMENTAL stuff think two. X, on the pressures yeah and
[26:01] Speaker 4: think about what you could do with that. In some
[26:03] Speaker 4: other calibers so the question, is if, somebody said all
[26:07] Speaker 4: right you've got SEVEN oh, eight seven mmo eight how
[26:10] Speaker 4: would you like to shoot a seven meter rumin to
[26:12] Speaker 4: magnum in your? Seven, mm eight rifle well maybe, not
[26:17] Speaker 4: all the. Time BUT maybe sometimes and i GUESS maybe
[26:19] Speaker 4: that's because. I think about this she'll try to. Put,
[26:23] Speaker 4: it all together here, you have more versatility you, can
[26:29] Speaker 4: shoot standard velocity or you can, shoot plus, peak slash
[26:36] Speaker 4: magnum velocity whatever you. Want to call it if you stay,
[26:41] Speaker 4: with the same barrelings you're going to get. A lot
[26:43] Speaker 4: more vlasity you can cut your barrel down a good
[26:47] Speaker 4: bit and retain the same velocity you had. With the longer.
[26:51] Speaker 4: Barrel kind of interesting so, we JUST thoughts here as
[26:55] Speaker 4: i look at the, calendar switching on here We're Too,
[27:00] Speaker 4: away FROM father's day and i think we probably ought
[27:04] Speaker 4: to Have Not. Waked until father's day let's go ahead
[27:06] Speaker 4: and start the day and we can tell those stories
[27:10] Speaker 4: about our, dads and the, guns the range, trips the
[27:17] Speaker 4: shooting experiences the hunting experiences we had with. OUR fathers
[27:21] Speaker 4: or grandfathers i have so many it's very hard. To
[27:27] Speaker 4: narrow it down as. You probably can imagine my dad
[27:30] Speaker 4: being a shooting editor of, a major gun magazine we
[27:34] Speaker 4: got to play with. A lot of guns i always had.
[27:37] Speaker 4: GUNS around THE house i mean.
[27:41] Speaker 10: I.
[27:41] Speaker 4: Had hundreds of guns every gun that was brought out
[27:48] Speaker 4: for a quarter of. A century pretty much long guns
[27:53] Speaker 4: especially were sent to my dad. That JUST showed up
[27:59] Speaker 4: and i could, go into the, closets multiple multiple closets
[28:03] Speaker 4: and all of them had hundreds, of guns in them
[28:05] Speaker 4: and half of them still had the hangtags on them
[28:08] Speaker 4: because they. Hadn't BEEN shot yet and, i CAN just
[28:11] Speaker 4: say can i take? One of. THESE guns, it's gesture
[28:14] Speaker 4: i MEAN by the time I, WAS fifteen in louisiana
[28:17] Speaker 4: i had a full driver's license and there was a
[28:21] Speaker 4: gravel pit, not FAR from us and i could load
[28:26] Speaker 4: up a half dozen or a dozen guns. And go. By,
[28:30] Speaker 4: myself at fifteen yeah we did that. And GO shoot.
[28:34] Speaker 4: Stuff and i did and So you'll notice sometimes, i'll,
[28:41] Speaker 4: make you well yeah you know. We had that gun.
[28:43] Speaker 4: We Had that gun was it's not that we purchased and,
[28:46] Speaker 4: Owned all these guns It's just they were they can't.
[28:48] Speaker 4: Went through the house They were sent and dad would
[28:52] Speaker 4: write them up or, not WRITE them up but i
[28:54] Speaker 4: would have a. Chance to USE them and then i
[28:56] Speaker 4: ended up doing the photography on. A LOT of them as.
[28:58] Speaker 4: I was growing up it was a cool way to
[29:02] Speaker 4: grow up. And play with stuff So you know, the
[29:05] Speaker 4: reminton's six hundreds, that goofy looking rifle we had several
[29:08] Speaker 4: of those three Point fifty rim to magnum six point
[29:11] Speaker 4: five rim mag which brings us back around to where
[29:14] Speaker 4: we're talking today With the six five creeden wore the
[29:17] Speaker 4: six five rimton magnum out of that little Short barrel in.
[29:22] Speaker 4: That reminton six hundred it wasn't. Much, of a magnum
[29:26] Speaker 4: honestly if if you had a six y Five or
[29:30] Speaker 4: fifty five swede with a twenty two or, twenty four
[29:33] Speaker 4: its barrel you were probably getting about the same velocity.
[29:37] Speaker 4: Pretty close, to it and now of course we could
[29:40] Speaker 4: get the magnum velocities out of the short BARRELS. With this,
[29:44] Speaker 4: new ammo. Interesting, stuff interesting stuff hey let's go Grab al.
[29:50] Speaker 7: Out.
[29:50] Speaker 4: Of, minnesota online four hey hel. Thanks for calling in?
[29:53] Speaker 4: What's on your mind?
[29:55] Speaker 11: YOU bet you know i was up at the lake.
[29:57] Speaker 11: The COUPLE weeks ago in I saw magazine, that i
[30:02] Speaker 11: HADN'T read and so i sat on the porch and
[30:05] Speaker 11: read it and had, an ARTICLE in there and i
[30:08] Speaker 11: don't Remember If it Was outdoor Life or sports a Field.
[30:12] Speaker 11: Or fur fishing game it, was one of them and
[30:16] Speaker 11: it had an article Called, the MILLION dollars shotgun and
[30:21] Speaker 11: i was wondering if. THAT was your dad.
[30:26] Speaker 4: I don't remember an. Article with that title dad was
[30:30] Speaker 4: The SHOOTING editor for sports a feel, for TWENTY seven years.
[30:34] Speaker 4: BUT i, don't remember i, mean It's very POSSIBLE because
[30:37] Speaker 4: i'm sure i don't remember, all OF the articles but
[30:40] Speaker 4: i just, Don't REMEMBER that one so i can't. Help
[30:42] Speaker 4: you with that what was? The gist of it was
[30:44] Speaker 4: this an actual shotgun that was? Worth? A million dollars
[30:48] Speaker 4: no well, it was.
[30:50] Speaker 11: To somebody and it was somebody had a shotgun that
[30:55] Speaker 11: you could not pull the trigger on it unless, you
[30:58] Speaker 11: were on target so he'd, win all the contests the
[31:04] Speaker 11: guy in the article, or in the story. And so
[31:09] Speaker 11: it was it was a fun, story TO read it
[31:12] Speaker 11: and i was just curious if that was the kind of, Stuff,
[31:14] Speaker 11: your dad. Wrote well it was It. Probably, was outdoor
[31:18] Speaker 11: life okay If, it was Outdoor.
[31:20] Speaker 4: LIFE it, wasn't dad i Mean He wrote for outdoor
[31:23] Speaker 4: life Before he Wrote for sports a field and got,
[31:26] Speaker 4: on THE staff there and i Wrote For. OUT the
[31:28] Speaker 4: her life i was one of the Field Editors for
[31:30] Speaker 4: out her. Life for several years but. Probably with somebody
[31:34] Speaker 4: else it almost sounds like a tongue. IN cheek, fun
[31:37] Speaker 4: article i mean was? It, a, humor article.
[31:41] Speaker 7: Yes okay it sounded.
[31:44] Speaker 4: LIKE a FUN one i. MEAN i like it i
[31:46] Speaker 4: love THOSE old magazines and i, kind OF miss them
[31:48] Speaker 4: BUT i swear and i know people keep trying to
[31:51] Speaker 4: resurrect or resuscitate some of The old Magazines and sports the,
[31:56] Speaker 4: field Are Still around and diana, rupp as the editor
[31:58] Speaker 4: and she's. DOING a good Job i worked WITH diana
[32:00] Speaker 4: back when i was On The. Staff of, SPORTS appeal
[32:03] Speaker 4: but honestly i just there's not much left in, the old. Outdoor,
[32:08] Speaker 4: magazines is.
[32:09] Speaker 11: There no they don't have good paper like. They, used
[32:13] Speaker 11: to either no.
[32:15] Speaker 4: It can't afford it it's that the paper's expensive, and
[32:17] Speaker 4: mailing is expensive and, the advertising's not there and they just.
[32:21] Speaker 4: GET thinner, and thinner i mean it used to be
[32:24] Speaker 4: you we'd have like one hundred and sixty, pages in
[32:25] Speaker 4: a magazine and now you get sixty, four pages plus
[32:28] Speaker 4: cover and it's. JUST kind of sad I Look, at
[32:32] Speaker 4: the american riflemen which, used to be thick and now.
[32:34] Speaker 4: There's not much there, and, so you. Know look it's
[32:39] Speaker 4: logical there are other ways of, getting your information now
[32:42] Speaker 4: primarily through the internet through YouTube channels and Different. Places
[32:46] Speaker 4: on the internet so DOES anybody, REALLY get i mean
[32:49] Speaker 4: i get a, few MAGAZINES outdoor magazines and I have
[32:54] Speaker 4: to maybe. I admit IT publicly here is i. DON'T
[32:58] Speaker 4: actually read them i kind of glance at them, and
[33:01] Speaker 4: Put them. Aside AND i'm guilty WHAT i should do
[33:05] Speaker 4: i NEED to change What i. Do because i'm guilty.
[33:08] Speaker 4: I'll throw THEM away but what i need to start
[33:10] Speaker 4: doing is taking those outdoor magazines and taking them to
[33:12] Speaker 4: doctor's offices, or places like that leaving them there so other. People.
[33:16] Speaker 4: CAN read them.
[33:19] Speaker 11: Yeah i bring a lot of mind to THE vav
[33:24] Speaker 11: or the va and. They put them out, one, other
[33:27] Speaker 11: quick QUESTION sure yesterday yesterday i heard you ON the radio,
[33:35] Speaker 11: and i was wondering are you Going? To, change to.
[33:38] Speaker 4: Saturday, ah interesting question. Well yes and no we do The,
[33:48] Speaker 4: show live on Sunday which is what, I'm doing right
[33:50] Speaker 4: now but there are stations that take the recorded version
[33:56] Speaker 4: and they run. It throughout the week some radio stations
[33:59] Speaker 4: Will run it on Saturday. Instead of on sunday some
[34:02] Speaker 4: of them actually run It home Both. On saturday and
[34:04] Speaker 4: sunday so If you're, hearing the saturday show it's Actually
[34:08] Speaker 4: from the previous sunday. When we did, it it's recorded
[34:11] Speaker 4: shows so you're alloable. To pick it up and that
[34:14] Speaker 4: kind of goes back to what. We were talking, about
[34:15] Speaker 4: with the magazines you Can now get gun talk a.
[34:19] Speaker 4: Lot of different ways you can get it, live on
[34:22] Speaker 4: the radio you can get, recorded on the radio you
[34:24] Speaker 4: can get, it on a podcast you can. Get it
[34:26] Speaker 4: on YouTube they're just an off You. Get off of
[34:29] Speaker 4: facebook and that's. Just my radio show the rest of
[34:32] Speaker 4: the stuff We, do with gun talk we do videos
[34:34] Speaker 4: and all and they're available. All THESE different ways it's
[34:39] Speaker 4: I miss magazines because i was a magazine the editor
[34:41] Speaker 4: and writer, for MANY many years and i love putting
[34:43] Speaker 4: together good magazines and, AT the same time i. Understand,
[34:46] Speaker 4: WHAT'S going on look i appreciate the, calls their but
[34:49] Speaker 4: yeah if You're, hearing me on saturday it means that
[34:51] Speaker 4: the radio station is. Taking a recorded version either they
[34:54] Speaker 4: recorded it and pulled it down live, and recorded it
[34:57] Speaker 4: locally or there's a way for station and we provide
[35:00] Speaker 4: this service for them to tap in and pick up
[35:03] Speaker 4: shows that we've done and then they can run, them
[35:05] Speaker 4: whenever they want whenever. It's convenient for them you got
[35:09] Speaker 4: to understand that if, you're a radio station you have
[35:12] Speaker 4: certain holes in your, programming, and you think okay well this.
[35:14] Speaker 4: Would fit, well here you know we'll put it in
[35:18] Speaker 4: after the. Gardening show or whatever sometimes, they take it
[35:22] Speaker 4: live or sometimes they can't because. They have other obligations
[35:26] Speaker 4: it goes back to thirty ONE years ago when. I
[35:28] Speaker 4: started this thing i knew nothing about radio and never been,
[35:32] Speaker 4: on the radio, before and got conned probably Talked into
[35:37] Speaker 4: it by alan Got Leave Over. The second, Amendment, FOUNDATION
[35:40] Speaker 4: thank you. Alan I appreciate that and i would call these, radio,
[35:44] Speaker 4: STATIONS and say hey. I got this idea i got,
[35:46] Speaker 4: this great radio show and you need. TO be running
[35:49] Speaker 4: it i was so green it did not occur to me.
[35:53] Speaker 4: For like six MONTHS it's how stupid i was of
[35:58] Speaker 4: calling these, stations, and them, say well you know, it
[36:01] Speaker 4: sounds maybe interesting but we can't. Really DO anything now, and,
[36:04] Speaker 4: i kept thinking well they're, just blowing me, off, not
[36:08] Speaker 4: realizing that look they don't have an hour or two
[36:13] Speaker 4: hours of dead air that they're waiting to. Throw your
[36:16] Speaker 4: show into there's. Something else running there and the only
[36:20] Speaker 4: Way you get gun talk on the air is to
[36:22] Speaker 4: take a slot that. Somebody else's already in and they
[36:26] Speaker 4: may have contracts, for these other shows and they have
[36:30] Speaker 4: to wait till. That contract runs out and, AFTER about
[36:34] Speaker 4: six months i started, getting stations saying okay. We'll take,
[36:37] Speaker 4: it now you know after about, a, year, it's like
[36:39] Speaker 4: okay yeah we're, ready For that, now, and i'm thinking
[36:42] Speaker 4: oh that's what's. Going on HERE now later on i.
[36:47] Speaker 4: Ended up getting professional they called, the affiliate relations guys
[36:51] Speaker 4: people who call. Radio STATIONS for YOU but i. MEAN
[36:54] Speaker 4: i sat there i would jump on the phone at five,
[36:57] Speaker 4: o'clock in the morning Start working, on the east coast
[37:01] Speaker 4: and THEN all day long i would work the phones
[37:03] Speaker 4: and call all the, way across the, country mostly leaving
[37:06] Speaker 4: messages mostly. Not getting calls back as, someone, told me
[37:10] Speaker 4: said look if you have left a message a half
[37:12] Speaker 4: dozen times and they, haven't called you back. They have
[37:15] Speaker 4: answered you they have told you that they're not. Interested, in,
[37:18] Speaker 4: Your show okay, fine well You know and as ryan
[37:23] Speaker 4: and you Probably, got everybody knows ryan my Son who
[37:26] Speaker 4: runs GUN talk all. The tv and, everything, he keeps
[37:29] Speaker 4: saying look he says, no, doesn't mean no no just
[37:33] Speaker 4: means not. Yet or NOT now and then, i, attitude
[37:37] Speaker 4: it is well it's. Just, going to work eventually you're going,
[37:40] Speaker 4: to figure it out or somebody's going to, contact, you
[37:42] Speaker 4: and say hey you really need to look at. This
[37:44] Speaker 4: gun talk show you need. To listen to this you
[37:47] Speaker 4: need to find out what. These guys, are doing at
[37:50] Speaker 4: first and we. Don't get this anymore we at first,
[37:53] Speaker 4: we would call in people would, say at, radio stations
[37:56] Speaker 4: we don't we don't run. Those, KIND of shows really
[38:01] Speaker 4: i think they thought we were broadcasting from a covert
[38:06] Speaker 4: bunker somewhere with. Conspiracy THEORIES and such well i, do
[38:11] Speaker 4: have conspiracy theories but they're all about different, rifle calibers
[38:14] Speaker 4: and cartridges so that's. A whole, different thing so anyway
[38:19] Speaker 4: that Was, A fun way well i don't. Know if it's,
[38:23] Speaker 4: fun at the. Time it was tough it was a
[38:26] Speaker 4: sixties to seventy. SOMETIMES eighty hour weeks i figured out
[38:31] Speaker 4: at one point that by working, SIX days a week
[38:33] Speaker 4: i was working ten out or ten weeks longer than
[38:36] Speaker 4: everybody else was if they're working. Five days. A week
[38:39] Speaker 4: that's okay i only did, that FOR thirty years so,
[38:41] Speaker 4: i worked. Out fine all right so that's kind of.
[38:44] Speaker 4: Starting off the story so As We're, headed toward father's
[38:47] Speaker 4: day stories about your dad, going shooting with, him hunting
[38:50] Speaker 4: with him maybe a gun that you got from your
[38:53] Speaker 4: father that you still have and you plan to. KEEP
[38:56] Speaker 4: in the family i got a Couple of those and
[38:59] Speaker 4: i'm making sure that They. Get. Down to ryan now
[39:02] Speaker 4: i'm Not gonna. WAIT till i'm gone i want to
[39:04] Speaker 4: share the gun and the stories. And maybe, Some photos
[39:07] Speaker 4: who knows we're just that's. Part of the deal these
[39:11] Speaker 4: guns last forever instead of, the stories with him but
[39:15] Speaker 4: only if you. Pass along the stories eight six' six
[39:19] Speaker 4: talk gun hight that qut here going straight to the
[39:29] Speaker 4: phones flying two Time's, With. Us Out, Of houston texas
[39:33] Speaker 4: hey tom? What's? What's?
[39:34] Speaker 6: GOING on there hey tom i have a. Bad question,
[39:38] Speaker 6: to ask you this week About, fifty miles south of
[39:41] Speaker 6: houston a kid ran through a stop sign. Top lit
[39:45] Speaker 6: up his light the kid drove all the way home
[39:48] Speaker 6: to his driveway, about one in the morning and you
[39:52] Speaker 6: can see from doorbell video cameras, the two cars passing
[39:57] Speaker 6: by and within five seconds the cop shot through the window.
[40:03] Speaker 6: And the, kid is dead my question and they haven't
[40:08] Speaker 6: told us what kind of. Gun the, cop was carried
[40:11] Speaker 6: my question do you know of any incidents around the
[40:15] Speaker 6: country where a COP has shot somebody CARRYING i believe
[40:20] Speaker 6: it's the p three twenty that's been. Having, the accidental
[40:23] Speaker 6: discharge problem.
[40:27] Speaker 4: Well you're really asking. About two different things. Here let's
[40:29] Speaker 4: JUST'S examine them the alleged p three twenty, actual discharges are,
[40:37] Speaker 4: Uncommanded DISCHARGES if you will and i don't have any
[40:41] Speaker 4: information whether. It's, actually happening or not yeah. THERE'S a
[40:44] Speaker 4: video out there i know there's SOME ranges have. Banned
[40:47] Speaker 4: a p three twenty but you're asking if anybody a
[40:51] Speaker 4: police officer HAS shot somebody. With a, p three twenty probably.
[40:58] Speaker 4: So because it's been issued but would it be? A
[41:03] Speaker 4: negligent or uncommanded discharge if a cop is pointing a
[41:09] Speaker 4: gun at, somebody and it goes off my first reactions
[41:14] Speaker 4: would be almost certainly not, because if that's the case the,
[41:18] Speaker 4: officer probably pulled. The, TRIGGER don't you think.
[41:22] Speaker 6: Well i hope, that's Not the case here and, I'm
[41:26] Speaker 6: sad for the family but as far as, IT'S from
[41:30] Speaker 6: A community standpoint i just, i wish, that they would
[41:35] Speaker 6: you know get as. Much facts out as possible we're
[41:38] Speaker 6: getting very very limited. Information from the police department.
[41:43] Speaker 4: That's not uncommon, in the officer involved shootings at least for.
[41:47] Speaker 4: A while, while they investigate but look the, reality is
[41:52] Speaker 4: in most situations if the officer is pointing a gun
[41:56] Speaker 4: at someone, and the gun goes off it's, because officer pulled.
[42:00] Speaker 4: The trigger simple as, that may have gotten startled, may
[42:04] Speaker 4: have actually you know not. Quite MEANT to, what, whatever
[42:09] Speaker 4: but i mean look he's got a hold of the
[42:12] Speaker 4: gun and probably got a stinger on the trigger. And
[42:16] Speaker 4: probably pull the trigger and whether, it was justified or not.
[42:19] Speaker 4: That's a whole different deal BUT in almost every, circumstance
[42:23] Speaker 4: i can think of my go to response would be
[42:27] Speaker 4: somebody pulled. The trigger on the gun?
[42:30] Speaker 6: Would you say uncommanded discharge that's, Like, inside the wholester.
[42:36] Speaker 4: Correct yeah say the holster, and nobody's pulled the trigger that.
[42:40] Speaker 4: Would be an, uncommanded discharge in other words, no one
[42:43] Speaker 4: touched the gun. No one touched the, trigger and if
[42:46] Speaker 4: that happens that's the. Whole that's a mechanical issue. It's
[42:49] Speaker 4: a whole different deal but if somebody's pointing a gun at,
[42:52] Speaker 4: somebody and it goes off, there's, about, one hundred percent
[42:56] Speaker 4: real real close to one hundred percent. Chance they pull the.
[42:58] Speaker 4: Trigger just simple as that that's. JUST the way it works.
[43:02] Speaker 4: I appreciate the call there INTERESTING and this whole. Sig
[43:05] Speaker 4: p three. Twenty three it's not over we're trying. To
[43:08] Speaker 4: figure it all. Out they're figured it, Out they have
[43:11] Speaker 4: a position. They've contacted me about it they're, contacting, shooting
[43:16] Speaker 4: rangers to say hey let's talk about the fact. That
[43:19] Speaker 4: you've BANNED our pistol? Where am, I on it. SIMPLY
[43:23] Speaker 4: this i don't know i don't. KNOW what the truth
[43:28] Speaker 4: is i don't know what. The reality is? On it
[43:30] Speaker 4: too many reports is it? Enough? To make, me concerned
[43:33] Speaker 4: yeah it. Is of course it? Is why wouldn't you be,
[43:36] Speaker 4: You HAVE to be concerned but i. Don't know where it. Is,
[43:38] Speaker 4: so there you go, HEY when we come back i
[43:40] Speaker 4: want to dig deeper Into this new technology from federal
[43:44] Speaker 4: and how it's. Being used in military cartridges there's some
[43:48] Speaker 4: stuff going on, that you don't know about but we're.
[43:50] Speaker 4: Going To Tell you about i'm tom greshie and we'll
[43:52] Speaker 4: be right. Back with more gun talk don't miss this
