[0:01] Speaker 1: Ruger didn't just update the ar, they rebuilt it from
[0:04] Speaker 1: the ground up. The Harrier is the modern sporting rifle
[0:07] Speaker 1: reimagined for the serious shooter. Millspec furs seventy seventy five receivers,
[0:12] Speaker 1: and I tried to bulk carrier group with stacked gas
[0:14] Speaker 1: key mlockhandguard, with full length accessory rail, access threaded barrel,
[0:19] Speaker 1: ready for whatever you.
[0:20] Speaker 2: Add to it.
[0:21] Speaker 1: This isn't an iteration, It's an evolution decades of Ruger
[0:25] Speaker 1: engineering discipline poured into the platform.
[0:27] Speaker 2: You love the Ruger Harrier.
[0:31] Speaker 3: Upgrade your optic with Hollisen, where innovation meets precision. With
[0:34] Speaker 3: fifty thousand hours of battery life, shake awake technology and
[0:38] Speaker 3: a solar failsafe, your optic is always ready when you
[0:41] Speaker 3: are Hollosen confidence in every shot.
[0:47] Speaker 4: Hey, welcome back, Pom Gresher. It's gun called. Question for
[0:50] Speaker 4: you do you carry a gun? Follow up question, why
[0:57] Speaker 4: do you carry a gun? I'm asking because if you
[1:01] Speaker 4: do carry, you have people I'm sure you talk to friends, coworkers, whatever,
[1:07] Speaker 4: people who know you carry, who will ask you why
[1:10] Speaker 4: do you carry a gun? Because a lot of people
[1:13] Speaker 4: don't understand it. They just can't conceive of it, or,
[1:16] Speaker 4: as they like to say, I could never imagine needing
[1:19] Speaker 4: to carry a gun. I can never imagine using a
[1:22] Speaker 4: gun to shoot somebody. Well, they can't imagine because they
[1:26] Speaker 4: don't have a good enough imagination.
[1:28] Speaker 2: But that's a whole different deal.
[1:29] Speaker 4: Here's the question, how do you answer that when somebody says,
[1:34] Speaker 4: why do you carry a gun? I'm not not being
[1:37] Speaker 4: flip or anything. I'm just curious. How do you handle
[1:40] Speaker 4: the question? The number here is eight sixty six. Talk gun,
[1:43] Speaker 4: give me a call. The other question we have on
[1:46] Speaker 4: the floor, we're going to get to that right now,
[1:48] Speaker 4: is that we have currently in the US an eleven
[1:51] Speaker 4: percent excise tax on long guns and ammunition and ten
[1:55] Speaker 4: percent excise tax on handguns. It's paid by the manufacturers,
[1:58] Speaker 4: but clearly they it's built in so we pay for
[2:01] Speaker 4: it and SUMER.
[2:01] Speaker 2: Pays for it.
[2:03] Speaker 4: And it's used as part of the Pittman Robertson Act,
[2:06] Speaker 4: the pr Funds, and it's used to buy habitat, to
[2:11] Speaker 4: buy lands, to promote hunting, to promote shooting, to build
[2:15] Speaker 4: shooting ranges. It's been responsible for saving a lot of
[2:18] Speaker 4: the wildlife in America, so it's done a lot of
[2:20] Speaker 4: good things. But there is an argument to be made
[2:24] Speaker 4: that it's a tax on guns, which is a tax
[2:26] Speaker 4: on a Second Amendment. Right, So I invite you to
[2:29] Speaker 4: weigh in. How do you feel about that. Let's say
[2:33] Speaker 4: we've got Eric first, who wants to talk about that
[2:35] Speaker 4: out of Springfield, Missouri. Eric, thanks for your patients, talk
[2:38] Speaker 4: about this excise tax.
[2:40] Speaker 2: What's your take?
[2:41] Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I was just wanting to know. You know,
[2:44] Speaker 5: I didn't know a lot of these taxes existed until
[2:46] Speaker 5: I already talked about it. And what I was wondering
[2:51] Speaker 5: is you know how much of these taxes went up
[2:55] Speaker 5: over the years, and who controls these taxes.
[2:59] Speaker 4: The rate is all alas remain the same, so the
[3:01] Speaker 4: taxes have not gone up. It's an eleven percent on
[3:05] Speaker 4: long guns and ammunition and actually both I think bows
[3:07] Speaker 4: and arrows.
[3:08] Speaker 2: Uh.
[3:09] Speaker 4: And it's ten percent on handguns. It's been the same
[3:11] Speaker 4: for decades, and it's control I see one of the
[3:17] Speaker 4: Interior Department might be I'm not sure, but the money
[3:20] Speaker 4: is used for wildlife habitat, for making sure that hunting
[3:26] Speaker 4: is allowed in a lot of the federal lands, for
[3:30] Speaker 4: building shooting ranges, and for hundred education programs. Basically, it's
[3:34] Speaker 4: the money that funds the hunter education programs around the country.
[3:39] Speaker 5: Right, I'd heard something that they're talking about trying to
[3:42] Speaker 5: take away hunting.
[3:45] Speaker 4: Well, yeah, the anti hunters, the anti hunters and anti
[3:47] Speaker 4: guns of gunners have always wanted to do away with hunting.
[3:50] Speaker 4: And you've got anti hunters who say, we don't like hunting,
[3:53] Speaker 4: and then you got the anti gunners who don't really
[3:55] Speaker 4: care about hunting, but they know that that's the reason
[3:57] Speaker 4: a lot of people own guns, and so if they
[3:59] Speaker 4: could get rid of hunting, then they eliminate all those
[4:02] Speaker 4: people who own guns, and now there's no reason to
[4:04] Speaker 4: have guns. So those two groups combined and actually end
[4:07] Speaker 4: up becoming the same. They're anti hunters and anti gun groups.
[4:11] Speaker 4: They're all basically the same, trying to take away.
[4:13] Speaker 5: Your guns, right, so you have less money coming into
[4:15] Speaker 5: the system.
[4:16] Speaker 2: Okay, sure, yeah. Yeah.
[4:18] Speaker 4: They want to use that as a way to come
[4:20] Speaker 4: back and say, well, see, nobody's hunting anymore, so we
[4:22] Speaker 4: don't need guns, we don't need the Second Amendment, we
[4:24] Speaker 4: don't need gun rights. So they use that as a
[4:27] Speaker 4: wedge too. I don't think they're going to get there
[4:28] Speaker 4: because the public supports hunting.
[4:31] Speaker 5: Right, I will give you one what you was talking
[4:34] Speaker 5: about when you just came back on. I haven't carried
[4:36] Speaker 5: a gun in years, and I've always been a gun
[4:38] Speaker 5: owner since I come out in the military, and I'm
[4:41] Speaker 5: fifty nine years old. I just recently started carrying a
[4:44] Speaker 5: gun after the events with open borders and the way
[4:49] Speaker 5: things of you know, larger cities. I live in a
[4:52] Speaker 5: mid size city. It's not really a big city. It's
[4:55] Speaker 5: not a small city, but it's right on major interstates
[4:57] Speaker 5: and that we have a lot of people that come
[4:59] Speaker 5: through here, and there's just random shootings on the interstate
[5:07] Speaker 5: areas and I live right at that area of town.
[5:10] Speaker 5: So I started carrying a gun, different shelf production. Hopefully
[5:13] Speaker 5: I'll never have to use it.
[5:15] Speaker 6: You know, I don't carry it on my side.
[5:17] Speaker 5: I keep it hidden. I don't let people see that
[5:19] Speaker 5: I have it right, and we have that law in
[5:22] Speaker 5: the state.
[5:22] Speaker 4: But you know, Eric, it's interesting because for a long time,
[5:26] Speaker 4: a lot of us, a lot of people just said, well,
[5:28] Speaker 4: you know, there's no reason, why would anybody want to
[5:32] Speaker 4: hurt me. I've not hurt anybody else. I pay, you know,
[5:35] Speaker 4: just pay attention to my own stuff. I leave people
[5:37] Speaker 4: alone and I think over the last I don't know,
[5:41] Speaker 4: a decade or so, we're just seeing a lot of
[5:43] Speaker 4: random crime and violence where for no reason at all,
[5:47] Speaker 4: And also we're seeing it on video, which also makes
[5:49] Speaker 4: it more real. People just go hurt other people or
[5:52] Speaker 4: shoot other people, or road rage is part of it.
[5:55] Speaker 4: And we're now we're kind of thinking the same way
[5:57] Speaker 4: you are. You're thinking, well, this it come to me
[6:01] Speaker 4: through no fault of my own, and what am I
[6:04] Speaker 4: going to do.
[6:04] Speaker 2: To protect myself? Right? Yeah?
[6:08] Speaker 4: All right, well, good deal. I mean that's a great rundown.
[6:12] Speaker 4: Thank you, Eric. I appreciate the call. We got them
[6:14] Speaker 4: lined up. I want to talk about this. Adam is
[6:16] Speaker 4: in Wisconsin. Adam, we'll talked about the Pittman Robertson Act
[6:20] Speaker 4: and you've got some thoughts on that.
[6:23] Speaker 7: Yeah, myself, being involved in agriculture, I'm aware of things
[6:27] Speaker 7: within the agricultural industry called checkoffs, where the Corn Growers Association,
[6:31] Speaker 7: for example, takes you know, a fraction of a percent
[6:34] Speaker 7: of every sale bushel of corn. The beef producers have it.
[6:37] Speaker 7: That's where you get your your beef. It's what for
[6:40] Speaker 7: what's for dinner? Tech commercials? I guess I don't look
[6:43] Speaker 7: at the Robertson fitsmans as a tax as much as
[6:47] Speaker 7: a checkoff, if you want to call it that like
[6:49] Speaker 7: they do in agriculture, because it's advocacy for hunters, sportsman shooters,
[6:55] Speaker 7: et cetera. And you know, the way the world's going,
[6:59] Speaker 7: more and more people are getting closed off of places
[7:02] Speaker 7: that they used to be able to hunt, and having
[7:04] Speaker 7: something where we can have a seat at the table
[7:07] Speaker 7: to be able to keep hunting going on public lands
[7:11] Speaker 7: is just a good thing.
[7:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, good, good thought. I appreciate that. Let me explain.
[7:17] Speaker 4: I think I've mentioned it, but I just want to
[7:19] Speaker 4: say this. Back when we got the tax and when
[7:22] Speaker 4: Pittman Robertson Act was passed, and think it was thirty seven,
[7:27] Speaker 4: and wildlife was in such terrible condition in the US,
[7:30] Speaker 4: and American hunters and conservationists got together and I understand
[7:34] Speaker 4: that conservationists is not the same as a preservationists. Conservation
[7:38] Speaker 4: the real definition of conservation is the wise use of
[7:41] Speaker 4: natural resource, not locking it up using it, but just
[7:44] Speaker 4: using it wisely. And they got together and said, you know,
[7:47] Speaker 4: we got to find some way to protect wildlife habitat
[7:51] Speaker 4: and protect wildlife. And why don't we tax ourselves. There's
[7:56] Speaker 4: really one of the mounted to They said, we're going
[7:59] Speaker 4: to ask Congress to pass a law to tax us,
[8:03] Speaker 4: which is pretty rare in America or anywhere really, but
[8:07] Speaker 4: we're gonna we want the money. We need the money
[8:10] Speaker 4: to help wildlife and to help hunting. And yeah, I
[8:15] Speaker 4: know it's a vested self interest. Hunters want to protect
[8:19] Speaker 4: wildlife and grow wildlife populations, fair enough, but okay, so
[8:23] Speaker 4: we're going to take we take what three percent five
[8:25] Speaker 4: percent of the population, and the rest of it just
[8:28] Speaker 4: continues to grow, so everybody benefits out of that. So anyway,
[8:31] Speaker 4: that's your history of Bim and Robertson is that it
[8:34] Speaker 4: was actually hunters and gun owners who ask for this
[8:38] Speaker 4: tax and got it passed. Now we're taking a fresh
[8:42] Speaker 4: look at it. And one of the things that's complicated,
[8:45] Speaker 4: and I'll admit this, is that some states are now saying, oh, well, well,
[8:49] Speaker 4: we'll put our own excise tax on there. And it has
[8:52] Speaker 4: nothing to do with saving wildlife or hunting or habitat
[8:56] Speaker 4: or anything else. It's just punitive to make expense if
[9:00] Speaker 4: to buy and own guns. So that's the complication today.
[9:04] Speaker 4: There you go, Tay what if you're on hole right now.
[9:07] Speaker 4: Hold on, I'm going to get to you just a second.
[9:09] Speaker 4: I gotta take a quick break here. We've got to
[9:11] Speaker 4: sell some soap. We'll be right back with more gun talk.
[9:21] Speaker 1: Two hundred and fifty years of American liberty. Ruger is
[9:24] Speaker 1: honoring that milestone with firearms worthy of the moment. The
[9:27] Speaker 1: two hundred and fiftieth Anniversary series distinctly marked with made

[9:37] Speaker 1: bi centennial line while celebrating the freedoms the Second Amendment

[9:44] Speaker 1: to the LCP Max, the Super Wrangler to the American

[9:50] Speaker 8: Black Hill Zammo is now loading a three hundred PRC
[9:53] Speaker 8: round with a high BC hornity two twenty five grain

[10:01] Speaker 8: belt of the three hundred Winchester Magnum and increase the
[10:03] Speaker 8: body diameter. The result is increased powder capacity and a
[10:06] Speaker 8: nearly one hundred and fifty feet per second velocity increase
[10:09] Speaker 8: to twenty eight hundred fps. The three hundred BRC two
[10:12] Speaker 8: twenty five ELD match provides superior capability on distant targets,
[10:17] Speaker 8: black heels, ammunition, the power of performance.

[11:10] Speaker 8: Yeah, we talk about that too. On your crosshairs, I
[11:13] Speaker 8: like a thin crosshair.
[11:15] Speaker 2: AJ.
[11:15] Speaker 10: You're really dating yourself by calling things cross hairs.

[12:07] Speaker 4: All right, so the question on the floor is why
[12:10] Speaker 4: when you're asked by people, what's your response to the
[12:13] Speaker 4: question why do you carry a gun? And I get
[12:17] Speaker 4: different answers. It's a lot of thems. It kind of
[12:19] Speaker 4: revolves around the same thing. But I'm just curious how
[12:22] Speaker 4: you respond if you'll find out, particularly maybe even more
[12:28] Speaker 4: so for women. Although women face frankly, more risks, were
[12:34] Speaker 4: more types of attack, obviously, clearly you also have more challenges.
[12:41] Speaker 2: On how to carry.
[12:43] Speaker 4: So if you're a woman and you carry, I'd like
[12:45] Speaker 4: to know why, and then to what do you tell
[12:48] Speaker 4: your friends when they ask you about that. Our number
[12:51] Speaker 4: again is tom Talk Gun easiest that way. Let's see,
[12:56] Speaker 4: we got Jerry in Colorado Springs. Hellyer, you got a
[13:01] Speaker 4: cool idea.
[13:01] Speaker 11: Here, go with it, Hi Tom. Yeah, I started my
[13:05] Speaker 11: girls off in shooting with a daisy Red Rider, just
[13:11] Speaker 11: shooting bebies in the backyard and with reactive targets like
[13:14] Speaker 11: your suggestion of putting uh Ritz crackers on a target.
[13:21] Speaker 11: I use balloons and that just enthralled them and they
[13:25] Speaker 11: were hooked after that. The other benefit to that is
[13:30] Speaker 11: you don't have to worry if you go to a
[13:31] Speaker 11: public range that you're trying to get your kids introduced
[13:35] Speaker 11: without being intimidated, and you've got people to the left
[13:38] Speaker 11: and right who are blazing away with magnums.
[13:40] Speaker 4: Or yeah, yeah, start and I like the Red Rider
[13:48] Speaker 4: using baby guns, popping balloons or crackers. Or if you
[13:53] Speaker 4: go to Costco or Sam's Club, they got this huge
[13:56] Speaker 4: like gallon, big jug.
[13:58] Speaker 2: Of cheese balls, Jeeves puffs. Those make great targets. If
[14:02] Speaker 2: you're at a place where you can do that.
[14:04] Speaker 4: You'll make a mess, but you hit those things and
[14:06] Speaker 4: they break up and then the next rain takes care
[14:08] Speaker 4: of them, or the birds pick them up and do that.
[14:10] Speaker 4: So then those are fun and they could use BB guns,
[14:12] Speaker 4: and you could actually use twenty two's for those as well.
[14:15] Speaker 2: But the other thing is.
[14:18] Speaker 4: If you're starting kids out with BB guns, they may
[14:21] Speaker 4: not need hearing protection, but they do need eye protection,
[14:24] Speaker 4: so you need to make sure they have shooting glasses
[14:26] Speaker 4: of some sort. Bbs will bounce off of stuff. I
[14:30] Speaker 4: know this from experience as a kid. You shoot them
[14:34] Speaker 4: into a tree or a board or something, they'll bounce
[14:36] Speaker 4: right back and eats right tween your eyes. So you
[14:38] Speaker 4: do need to be wearing glasses when you're shooting bbs.
[14:40] Speaker 4: And also it's just a good training to where you say, look,
[14:44] Speaker 4: we don't pull the trigger without wearing shooting glasses.
[14:47] Speaker 2: Period. It's just what we do. So there you go.
[14:52] Speaker 4: Oh line four, I believe it is Haiko in Carson,
[14:56] Speaker 4: State of Nevada.
[14:57] Speaker 2: Is it Haiko?
[14:58] Speaker 12: Yes, sir Tom, long time they'll talk to you. Sorry,
[15:02] Speaker 12: I only have one ear to hear you. The thing
[15:07] Speaker 12: that I wanted to bring up, I'm going to redo
[15:10] Speaker 12: my concealed carry. The funny thing, I have a dilemma.
[15:14] Speaker 12: If you don't have a concealed carry, you're not allowed
[15:17] Speaker 12: to conceal your fire run. So I renewing my concealed
[15:22] Speaker 12: carry in a month. And the other thing I wanted
[15:26] Speaker 12: to bring up is what's wrong with Oregon? If Oregon
[15:29] Speaker 12: can not have you hunt anything, you know, whether it's fish, furs,
[15:35] Speaker 12: or I'm not gonna spread us the whole United States.
[15:41] Speaker 4: Yeah, Oregon's got a bill that are trying to get past,
[15:44] Speaker 4: which would essentially band hunting and fishing. We'll see what
[15:48] Speaker 4: happens with that. I don't think that's gonna I mean,
[15:50] Speaker 4: it's hard for me to imagine. But then again, sometimes
[15:53] Speaker 4: it's hard for me to imagine Oregon at all. You know,
[15:55] Speaker 4: of course, there's as you well know, there's the eastern
[15:57] Speaker 4: and the western part, and they're completely different. The eastern
[16:01] Speaker 4: part of Washington would really I mean, would organ rather
[16:03] Speaker 4: would really like to be part of Idaho.
[16:05] Speaker 2: So there you go.
[16:06] Speaker 4: But all your concealed carry permit, I think it's worthwhile
[16:10] Speaker 4: renewing a permit, even if you're not required to, even
[16:12] Speaker 4: if you had constitution carry where you are, just for
[16:15] Speaker 4: the reciprocity be able to carry in various states. And
[16:19] Speaker 4: I know you know that. Look, I appreciate the call.
[16:21] Speaker 4: Having said that, if you're going to travel using your
[16:27] Speaker 4: permit and rely on reciprocity.
[16:32] Speaker 2: Please, please, please do the effort, make do the work.
[16:40] Speaker 4: To find out what the rules are in need state,
[16:42] Speaker 4: because they change every time you go over a state line.
[16:47] Speaker 4: You are in a completely different legal environment, and you
[16:51] Speaker 4: may well know the rules where you are. You may
[16:55] Speaker 4: know the laws, and they may be so different as
[16:58] Speaker 4: to get you in trouble in another state. Case in point,
[17:01] Speaker 4: in some states, with your conceal carry permit, you can
[17:05] Speaker 4: go into a bar you're perfect illegal, but you can't
[17:09] Speaker 4: have a drink.
[17:11] Speaker 2: In some states you could.
[17:12] Speaker 4: Have a drink, but you got to be under a
[17:14] Speaker 4: certain alcohol limit, maybe like a point oh four.
[17:19] Speaker 2: In some states, however, you can't carry your.
[17:23] Speaker 4: Gun into an establishment that serves liquor at all. And
[17:29] Speaker 4: here's what happens. Here's how the law actually works. If
[17:32] Speaker 4: you carry into that, then it is as though your
[17:35] Speaker 4: carry permit has vanished, it's evaporated. You don't have one anymore,
[17:40] Speaker 4: and now you're carrying a concealed gun without a permit,
[17:45] Speaker 4: and all the legal ramifications that come from that can
[17:49] Speaker 4: land upon you. You well, are you required in that
[17:55] Speaker 4: given state, in a traffic stop, for instance, to inform
[17:59] Speaker 4: the officer that you're carrying a gun. Some states there
[18:02] Speaker 4: is no duty to inform, and in some states there
[18:07] Speaker 4: is a duty to inform.
[18:10] Speaker 2: You got to know the laws. It's not easy.
[18:15] Speaker 4: It requires work on your part to know, because ignorance
[18:21] Speaker 4: of the law is no excuse. You know that drill.
[18:24] Speaker 4: So how do you know? I go to the website
[18:27] Speaker 4: Handgunlaw dot US. There are others out there, and I
[18:33] Speaker 4: don't say that this is better than the others. This
[18:36] Speaker 4: just is the one that I use. I have no
[18:38] Speaker 4: connection to them, don't know anybody there, but they don't
[18:40] Speaker 4: advertise on the show. I just use their service Handgun
[18:44] Speaker 4: Law singular handgun Law dot US, not dot com dot us.
[18:49] Speaker 4: And you put in the state where you have your permit,
[18:51] Speaker 4: and then you can see where your permit's honored. Then
[18:54] Speaker 4: you can click on those states that you'll be going
[18:56] Speaker 4: through and read through. You gotta scroll down, read through.
[18:59] Speaker 4: It'll say you know your permit is good here it's
[19:02] Speaker 4: not good. There is there a duty to inform?
[19:04] Speaker 2: Yes or no.
[19:05] Speaker 4: In some states, when people put up a no gun sign,
[19:09] Speaker 4: it has no weight in law at all. In another
[19:11] Speaker 4: state it absolutely has the weight and law and you
[19:14] Speaker 4: cannot go in there with your gun. It would be
[19:17] Speaker 4: good to know these things as you travel around and
[19:20] Speaker 4: you may get a little frustrated and you say, wow,
[19:22] Speaker 4: their laws are worse than mine. Yeah they are, but
[19:24] Speaker 4: at least you know about them fair enough. Okay, Line one. Now,
[19:28] Speaker 4: Biddy's with us out of Corpus CHRISTI, Texas. Hey, Betty,
[19:31] Speaker 4: you're on gun Talk. What's up.
[19:34] Speaker 13: Good afternoon, Tom. I understand this. The folks over in
[19:38] Speaker 13: Oregon are about to do a crazy thing. They've got
[19:42] Speaker 13: this initiative to vote themselves out of hunting rights that's
[19:48] Speaker 13: going to the ballot. I can't believe it's happening. Have
[19:52] Speaker 13: you heard a whole lot about that?
[19:54] Speaker 4: A little bit about it, And as we go through
[19:57] Speaker 4: the summer and head toward it, I'll talk more about it.
[20:00] Speaker 2: As we had toward election time.
[20:05] Speaker 4: At the outset, I would say, well, that's crazy and
[20:07] Speaker 4: nothing's going to happen with that, But then again, it's Oregon.
[20:11] Speaker 4: And I also know this I do know for sure
[20:14] Speaker 4: is if you get enough money behind anything, you can
[20:16] Speaker 4: convince the people of it. And if somebody wants to
[20:18] Speaker 4: go drop fifty one hundred million dollars onto this initiative,
[20:21] Speaker 4: and there are people who would do that to convince
[20:24] Speaker 4: the public to vote for this man. It's like they
[20:28] Speaker 4: can get you to buy soap or anything else with
[20:30] Speaker 4: enough advertising, and so it's a real danger. So I
[20:33] Speaker 4: will look into that, and I'll get some people in
[20:35] Speaker 4: here from Oregon and other places, and we'll get some
[20:37] Speaker 4: information as we go forward. But I appreciate you to
[20:40] Speaker 4: let me know about it and let me know you're
[20:42] Speaker 4: concerned with it. Let's see Joe and Farming at Flemington,
[20:45] Speaker 4: New Jersey. I got one minute for you, Joe, so
[20:48] Speaker 4: go for it.
[20:49] Speaker 14: John Tom, have you seen the video about the guy
[20:51] Speaker 14: shooting into paper plates instead of a Geil block. No,
[20:56] Speaker 14: it's really cool. Paper plates are cheap, and these are
[20:58] Speaker 14: the heavy duty ones like you know, the wax ones, right,
[21:02] Speaker 14: And it said, you know, if you if you, if
[21:04] Speaker 14: you don't have a you can't most of us can't
[21:06] Speaker 14: get jail blocks. But he starts over with twenty two
[21:09] Speaker 14: and it goes through ninety seven paper plates, and then
[21:11] Speaker 14: he goes up to it's the nine millimeter you know,
[21:13] Speaker 14: jacket jackal, and it goes to three hundred, and then
[21:16] Speaker 14: he does a forty five and then only goes through
[21:18] Speaker 14: two fifty. And the neat thing is you can you
[21:21] Speaker 14: don't have to change your paper plates every time. You know,
[21:23] Speaker 14: first he uses the twenty two, and then he uses
[21:26] Speaker 14: the same group of paper plates, and he the nine millimeters,
[21:29] Speaker 14: so you can put three or four different rounds. Now again,
[21:33] Speaker 14: you don't see how large the wound channel is, but
[21:36] Speaker 14: it's a poor man substitute for jail block penetrating penetration.
[21:40] Speaker 2: You know, I love it. The funny part is you
[21:42] Speaker 2: going to love this?
[21:43] Speaker 4: All it is is doing what we used to do
[21:46] Speaker 4: thirty years ago when we would go get.
[21:49] Speaker 2: Old phone books yep, and use those.
[21:52] Speaker 4: But now, of course there are no phone books, so
[21:54] Speaker 4: you got to go buy a phone plates exactly.
[21:59] Speaker 14: The one little trick by the way he you know,
[22:01] Speaker 14: once he puts some you know, stacks him up. He
[22:03] Speaker 14: puts blue painters tape just to hold them together so
[22:05] Speaker 14: they'll all fall apart.
[22:07] Speaker 2: Oh good idea. I like that. I appreciate the call. Yeah.
[22:10] Speaker 4: In fact, we used to take newspaper or phone books
[22:12] Speaker 4: and we would soak them and get them wet and
[22:15] Speaker 4: shoot them, thinking that that was a better representation of
[22:19] Speaker 4: shooting a game animal. I don't know if it was,
[22:21] Speaker 4: but it sure was messy and heavy and hard.
[22:23] Speaker 7: To do.
[22:24] Speaker 4: But man, I collected and shot a lot of newspapers
[22:27] Speaker 4: and a lot of phone books in the old days.
[22:30] Speaker 4: Now can't get newspapers, can't get phone books. I never
[22:34] Speaker 4: thought of the paper plates, and you get those big
[22:36] Speaker 4: stacks of them at Costa and Sam's and places. I
[22:40] Speaker 4: love the idea I got. I'm going to go try
[22:42] Speaker 4: that idea. Thank you, sir. I'm Tom gresher Be right back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[22:56] Speaker 4: I'm still talking about guns. That's what I do around here.
[22:58] Speaker 4: We talk about guns because it's gun talk. I'm Tom
[23:01] Speaker 4: glad that you could be with us. Let's say a
[23:03] Speaker 4: couple of things. Don't go anywhere, Jeff, I'm gonna get
[23:05] Speaker 4: you in just a second. A couple of things I
[23:06] Speaker 4: want to get into though. We were talking about the four
[23:09] Speaker 4: Rules of Gun Safety, as created by Colonel Jeff Cooper,
[23:13] Speaker 4: the founder of gun site. I just looked over on
[23:14] Speaker 4: the website and they do have the metal sign with
[23:19] Speaker 4: the four Rules of Gun Safety on them. A twenty
[23:21] Speaker 4: one nine is the price. I got nothing out of this, okay,
[23:25] Speaker 4: But if you go to gunsitestore dot com, it's g
[23:30] Speaker 4: U N S I T gunsitestore dot com and you
[23:33] Speaker 4: look for the gun site safety rule sign or the
[23:35] Speaker 4: four rules.
[23:35] Speaker 2: You can find that and it's cool metal sign. You
[23:38] Speaker 2: can put it up where you want.
[23:39] Speaker 4: All right, question i'd like to throw out here before
[23:41] Speaker 4: we get to the other conversation.
[23:44] Speaker 2: Are there stupid guns?
[23:48] Speaker 4: Are there guns you looked at and you said, well
[23:50] Speaker 4: that that's just stupid? Or when they introduced it, you
[23:54] Speaker 4: had a what a stupid idea? That's just dumb. I've
[23:58] Speaker 4: had a number of those, almost every time I've been wrong.
[24:04] Speaker 4: The Taurust judge when it came out, I said, what
[24:08] Speaker 4: a dumb idea, that's just dumb. Revolver that shoots four
[24:12] Speaker 4: ten shotgun shells? What do you do with that thing? Well,
[24:16] Speaker 4: one thing you can have a lot of fun with
[24:17] Speaker 4: at the range. I've actually handed quail with them. It's
[24:20] Speaker 4: that was stupid but fun. And then with mixed loads
[24:23] Speaker 4: and all you can do some interesting things with it.
[24:25] Speaker 4: Wouldn't be my first choice, but okay, maybe it's viable.
[24:30] Speaker 4: Five point seven by twenty eight cartridge that's just stupid,
[24:33] Speaker 4: little bit tiny?
[24:34] Speaker 2: What is that? What's that for? Uh?
[24:37] Speaker 4: Well, maybe maybe I was wrong on that one too.
[24:40] Speaker 4: Actually I've been wrong on a lot of them. But
[24:43] Speaker 4: sometimes you look at something you go, that's that's stupid.
[24:46] Speaker 4: I wouldn't buy that if you ever had that reaction
[24:49] Speaker 4: looking at somebody's gun, or a new cartridge or a
[24:51] Speaker 4: new gun. Not you know, do we need a six
[24:53] Speaker 4: or five creed More that's just stupid. Well, we don't
[24:57] Speaker 4: need it. But it did do something at others didn't do.
[25:01] Speaker 4: Speaking of which, you want to how do I say this?
[25:06] Speaker 4: You want to be here next week? We've been shooting
[25:10] Speaker 4: something that's new and different and we're under a deep
[25:13] Speaker 4: nda on it and it'll be out. We can talk
[25:17] Speaker 4: about it on the show next week. Game Changers used
[25:22] Speaker 4: a lot, but this time it really is. So we'll
[25:25] Speaker 4: talk about that next week. That's as far as I
[25:27] Speaker 4: know on that one. Let's go grab Jeff out of
[25:29] Speaker 4: La Grand, Oregon. He's got an update for us. Jeff,
[25:31] Speaker 4: have you people lost your mind again?
[25:36] Speaker 15: I may have, but it's not related to the petition.
[25:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a different subject.
[25:41] Speaker 15: Okay, Yeah, I was going to talk about new guns
[25:45] Speaker 15: I've gotten, but I think it's important we go into
[25:48] Speaker 15: this initiative. Petition twenty Yes please, it's amazing. One hundred
[25:54] Speaker 15: and seventeen thousand people signed the petition to get it
[25:59] Speaker 15: on the ballot in November. The thing not only does
[26:05] Speaker 15: it band hunting and fishing, bands, commercial production of beef, pork, chicken,
[26:15] Speaker 15: no more crabbing or clamming on the coast. And not
[26:19] Speaker 15: only that, but if you have a rodent problem in
[26:22] Speaker 15: your house with rats or mice, you have to live,
[26:26] Speaker 15: crap them and release them outside unharmed. And part of it,
[26:34] Speaker 15: it appears that killing of agricultural fields wouldn't be allowed
[26:40] Speaker 15: because of the potential harm to gophers and ground squirrels.
[26:46] Speaker 15: I mean, but what they're trying to portray it as
[26:51] Speaker 15: an anti animal abuse and I mean, nobody wants to
[26:55] Speaker 15: abuse animals, but that's how they're getting some of the
[27:00] Speaker 15: on there.
[27:01] Speaker 4: Sure it sounds to me, Jeff, as you describe it,
[27:07] Speaker 4: that the public when they hear what this actually does,
[27:11] Speaker 4: and you're right, they will use this language like this
[27:14] Speaker 4: is an anti animal abuse and get people to sign it,
[27:17] Speaker 4: okay that yeah, we're all against that. And then but
[27:21] Speaker 4: when the voters find out about it, and I'm sure
[27:23] Speaker 4: there will be because of the industry is affected, there
[27:26] Speaker 4: will be some money put into getting the word out.
[27:30] Speaker 4: I gotta think people would say, you can't in the farming.
[27:33] Speaker 4: You can't in ranching, you can't in cattle and beat
[27:36] Speaker 4: production and hog production, you can't in commercial fishing. That's crazy.
[27:44] Speaker 4: I hold out hope. I mean, I know that sometimes
[27:48] Speaker 4: Oregon does really nutty stuff, but even this I think
[27:51] Speaker 4: is way too far. Are you getting any kind of
[27:54] Speaker 4: sense at this point of which way the wind's blowing.
[27:58] Speaker 15: Yeah, it doesn't appear it will pass. But what it's
[28:02] Speaker 15: going to do is get the conversation on board out
[28:07] Speaker 15: and you know, chat rooms and stuff for people to
[28:12] Speaker 15: talk about and the you know, the anti hunters and
[28:19] Speaker 15: fishermen and the vegetarians. You know, they have an agenda
[28:24] Speaker 15: and they're just trying to chip away however they can.
[28:27] Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, And a.
[28:28] Speaker 4: Lot of times they'll do this knowing that it's going
[28:30] Speaker 4: to fail, and then do it the next year knowing
[28:32] Speaker 4: it's going to fail. But the idea is in ten years,
[28:35] Speaker 4: maybe we can get something past. And that's the way
[28:37] Speaker 4: they work.
[28:37] Speaker 2: Now.
[28:38] Speaker 4: There may be a good side benefit to this. If
[28:41] Speaker 4: it enrages enough people on the right, they may come
[28:44] Speaker 4: out and vote, which will get them voting in the midterms,
[28:47] Speaker 4: which is a good thing to motivate them to get
[28:49] Speaker 4: them out there.
[28:51] Speaker 15: Possibly.
[28:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, well we'll see. But look, Jeff, I appreciate the
[28:55] Speaker 4: heads up on that. Keep us posted if you would.
[28:59] Speaker 4: Let's grab Ken in Texas online too. Hey Ken, you're
[29:02] Speaker 4: on gun Talk. What's cooking?
[29:05] Speaker 16: Hey Tom? How's it going? Uh? There is a Nacotish
[29:08] Speaker 16: boy yourself? Oh okay, I used to have my uncle
[29:13] Speaker 16: used to read to me your dad's articles and stuff
[29:15] Speaker 16: as I was growing up. I'll be dark, yes, whenever
[29:22] Speaker 16: you're down on Red River. I was out on Sibney Lake.
[29:25] Speaker 16: They built part of Sibby Lake on family land. And
[29:28] Speaker 16: if you've ever eaten at the Mariner there in Nakatish,
[29:32] Speaker 16: that was family land and with a big peninsula back there.
[29:36] Speaker 4: I've eaten at the marridor many times. You watch the
[29:38] Speaker 4: new tree on the shoreline as we're eating.
[29:41] Speaker 16: There, you go, well, that was nolly land back he
[29:44] Speaker 16: put the lake in.
[29:46] Speaker 2: All right, So let's start homes.
[29:49] Speaker 16: Yes, can you still hear me?
[29:51] Speaker 2: I got you? You go ahead, Okay.
[29:54] Speaker 16: I have a thirty six caliber coat that was supposedly
[29:59] Speaker 16: Frank James. This gun, it's got nine notches on the
[30:03] Speaker 16: butt and uh, it's an octagon barrel. And I got
[30:10] Speaker 16: a serial number on it and it says addresses Colonel
[30:14] Speaker 16: Sam Cole, New York, US, America. And that's about all
[30:18] Speaker 16: I got on it. I have a serial number one
[30:20] Speaker 16: five zero one seven six, and that's all I've got.
[30:24] Speaker 16: It's an heirloom from my family that for my wife's family,
[30:29] Speaker 16: that he traded the gun for a bag of groceries
[30:33] Speaker 16: at a grocery store, and that's how it came into
[30:37] Speaker 16: their being. And we've got documentations and old newspaper articles
[30:42] Speaker 16: and that on it. But and then it was stolen.
[30:46] Speaker 16: Then they recovered it and gave it back to them.
[30:52] Speaker 16: History involved in all of it. But what would something
[30:55] Speaker 16: like that be worth. My brother in law can't have it,
[30:58] Speaker 16: he lives out of the country. And my wife that's
[31:02] Speaker 16: nothing she's going to shoot. So we would like to
[31:05] Speaker 16: get rid of it.
[31:07] Speaker 4: Only one way to know what's going to be worth,
[31:09] Speaker 4: and that's to put it for sale in an auction.
[31:12] Speaker 4: Somebody like Rock Island auction dot Com.
[31:16] Speaker 2: They would take it.
[31:17] Speaker 4: They'd want as much providence as they can get background
[31:20] Speaker 4: on it. They'd want to be able to authenticate it,
[31:23] Speaker 4: and then you just kind of let the bidding go
[31:25] Speaker 4: and wherever it goes is where it goes, and the
[31:27] Speaker 4: market will determine what the value is.
[31:30] Speaker 16: Okay, and you'd have any speculation with something like that.
[31:35] Speaker 4: Might be worth I'll give you fourteen dollars. The silence
[31:43] Speaker 4: was deafening on my offer. I may have to refigure that.
[31:49] Speaker 16: You want something you can shoot, don't you?
[31:54] Speaker 4: I have no idea. I don't do gun valuations. I
[31:57] Speaker 4: mean it could be thousand, it could be fifty thousand
[32:02] Speaker 4: or more. I just wouldn't have the slightest idea. And
[32:06] Speaker 4: that's where an outfit like this that can put it
[32:10] Speaker 4: before a lot of people and the collectors will know
[32:13] Speaker 4: about it and they'll jump on it.
[32:15] Speaker 2: It's Rockisland Auction dot Com.
[32:18] Speaker 4: There are some others out there, but this is just
[32:20] Speaker 4: the first one that popped into my head.
[32:23] Speaker 16: Okay, and all right, what you have to just malate
[32:27] Speaker 16: to them is that what you would do.
[32:28] Speaker 4: To it, Well, they'll have all the information, they'll tell
[32:31] Speaker 4: you how to do it, and basically, if you go
[32:33] Speaker 4: there and start the conversation, they'll want pictures and everything else,
[32:36] Speaker 4: and then they'll tell you how to ship it to
[32:38] Speaker 4: them and everything.
[32:38] Speaker 2: So it's it.
[32:39] Speaker 4: They make it really easy and so but you know,
[32:43] Speaker 4: they are going to want to be able to authenticate
[32:45] Speaker 4: it as best they can, and they'll work on that.
[32:47] Speaker 4: So but you trying to sell it yourself, I think
[32:50] Speaker 4: is a long shot trying to find because I mean,
[32:53] Speaker 4: you may say, boy, we got we got five thousand dollars,
[32:56] Speaker 4: We've got a good deal on it, and somebody says, yeah,
[32:58] Speaker 4: but you understand that was worth one hundred and fifty
[32:59] Speaker 4: thousand dollars. We just don't have any idea. So that's
[33:05] Speaker 4: what I would do. And look, I appreciate the call, sir,
[33:07] Speaker 4: And those kind of guns are hard to price. And
[33:13] Speaker 4: the more information you can get about it, the more
[33:16] Speaker 4: the better it's going to be. There's a collector's association
[33:19] Speaker 4: that you may want to tap into and they will
[33:21] Speaker 4: have information on how you can authenticate and maybe track
[33:25] Speaker 4: it down with sources. And the more information you have
[33:28] Speaker 4: the better. And you know, you may find that it, yeah,
[33:31] Speaker 4: it was in fact Frank James's, or you may find
[33:34] Speaker 4: that it wasn't at all. Either way, it's an interesting story.
[33:37] Speaker 4: It's fun to chase. So there you go, appreciate the call.
[33:42] Speaker 4: What's a gun worth is always an interesting question. Johnny
[33:47] Speaker 4: Dury has a really good sense of things like that,
[33:50] Speaker 4: and I didn't mention it can but Dewy'sguns dot Com
[33:54] Speaker 4: would not be a bad place to go either, because
[33:55] Speaker 4: Johnny and as I've mentioned before, I've done a lot
[33:59] Speaker 4: of work with Johnny before he was an advertiser here.
[34:02] Speaker 2: I sold him a whole bunch of guns, and.
[34:06] Speaker 4: He has for something like this, he has the list
[34:10] Speaker 4: of people who he knows he can call and say, hey,
[34:14] Speaker 4: I got this thing. He'll never make it to the internet,
[34:16] Speaker 4: it'll never make it in the store. It's like you
[34:18] Speaker 4: just got to know the right people to call. So
[34:20] Speaker 4: Ken I would also check with Johnny Doury over Drury'sguns
[34:24] Speaker 4: dot Com and get his thoughts on that, and he
[34:27] Speaker 4: may end up putting it up for auction as well.
[34:30] Speaker 4: But he also may have a co collector who says,
[34:33] Speaker 4: I have always heard of that gun. We knew it
[34:36] Speaker 4: was in existence, we just didn't know where it was.
[34:40] Speaker 4: And that sometimes happens, you know, It's like one of
[34:43] Speaker 4: those whisper things. Yeah there's a gun out there, and
[34:46] Speaker 4: we know it was made and we know it went
[34:47] Speaker 4: to so and so, but then we lost track of
[34:50] Speaker 4: it and the collectors go, yeah, it's like the white Whale,
[34:54] Speaker 4: the holy Grail that's out there somewhere, and then it
[34:57] Speaker 4: just pops up.
[34:58] Speaker 2: It's like, wow, there.
[34:59] Speaker 4: It is, so you never know, I don't know. It's
[35:03] Speaker 4: not my kind of thing. I'll like guns.
[35:06] Speaker 2: I can shoot.
[35:08] Speaker 7: I have.
[35:10] Speaker 2: Two. Yeah, I got two pretty guns. Literally.
[35:14] Speaker 4: Well, I mean a lot of my handguns are pretty,
[35:16] Speaker 4: but they're not like gorgeous. But I've got two nice
[35:18] Speaker 4: rifles with pretty wood on them. I had another one,
[35:21] Speaker 4: but it was two pretty literally, it was so gorgeous.
[35:25] Speaker 2: It's like it would hurt your eyes. It's like, oh
[35:26] Speaker 2: my god.
[35:27] Speaker 4: And I bought it because it was so pretty and
[35:30] Speaker 4: it was a four fifty eight wind mag stupid caliber
[35:33] Speaker 4: for me.
[35:34] Speaker 2: Didn't need it. Shot it like a half dozen times.
[35:37] Speaker 4: And put it away, and we take it out and
[35:39] Speaker 4: look at it and did that for like three years,
[35:41] Speaker 4: and then finally said, okay, this is dumb. You got
[35:43] Speaker 4: a bunch of money wrapped up in this gun that
[35:45] Speaker 4: just lives in the safe in the dark. Let somebody
[35:48] Speaker 4: else enjoy it. So sold it. I only took about
[35:51] Speaker 4: a thousand dollars bath on that deal. I am one
[35:55] Speaker 4: shrewd gun trader. Let me tell you what I lose
[35:57] Speaker 4: a little bit on each one, but I make it
[35:59] Speaker 4: up in the I am.
[36:00] Speaker 2: So there you go.
[36:01] Speaker 4: It's just don't do as I do, do as I
[36:04] Speaker 4: say on this, go to somebody that knows what they're
[36:06] Speaker 4: doing about this, and I ignore good advice. I asked
[36:10] Speaker 4: Johnny during many years ago, I said, you know, if
[36:13] Speaker 4: I wanted to get a machine gun for investment, what
[36:16] Speaker 4: should I get? He said, We'll just get a good,
[36:17] Speaker 4: solid M sixteen. We can get you one at a
[36:19] Speaker 4: good price. And he caught it be a good price,
[36:22] Speaker 4: and it was expensive because they are expensive. And I
[36:24] Speaker 4: didn't do it because it was a lot of money.
[36:26] Speaker 4: And now it'd be worth at least twice. You know,
[36:29] Speaker 4: I could have made something on the order of fifteen
[36:32] Speaker 4: to twenty thousand dollars on that gun. But no, I'm
[36:36] Speaker 4: not going to listen to Johnny. I know better now.
[36:39] Speaker 4: I listen to Johnny on stuff like that. But I'm
[36:42] Speaker 4: also I'm not an investor in guns as a way
[36:48] Speaker 4: of like making money. I guess you could say I
[36:50] Speaker 4: invest in guns because I buy guns, but I buy
[36:53] Speaker 4: guns to go shoe guns and I buy well, we
[36:57] Speaker 4: were talking about silly guns. I buy silly guns sometimes.
[37:01] Speaker 4: I recently bought a three five and h just because
[37:07] Speaker 4: because it was just silly. I didn't know what am
[37:09] Speaker 4: I going to do with it? Haven't done anything with
[37:11] Speaker 4: it yet, So there you go. Let's see. I want
[37:15] Speaker 4: to drop down to line five and grab Milton out
[37:17] Speaker 4: of Bosier City.
[37:18] Speaker 2: Hey Milton, you're on gun talk. Let's talk dumb guns.
[37:22] Speaker 6: Well, dumb guns. So I had a general practitioner doctor
[37:25] Speaker 6: who had a couple of guns he wanted to get
[37:27] Speaker 6: rid of. And I'm a shotgunner, and he had a
[37:30] Speaker 6: Belgian Browning Sweet sixteen, and I didn't know any much
[37:35] Speaker 6: of anything about it. I figured out how to take
[37:38] Speaker 6: it out. I took it out to the range, figured
[37:40] Speaker 6: out how to load it, shot the thing, immediately put
[37:43] Speaker 6: it down and never picked it up again. It's it's
[37:46] Speaker 6: the one where the whole barrel cycles instead of just
[37:49] Speaker 6: the action inside. And it scared me to death. And
[37:53] Speaker 6: I told somebody about do what.
[37:58] Speaker 2: You can feel it when it goes off, The whole
[38:00] Speaker 2: thing is moving you on? What was that?
[38:02] Speaker 6: Do you feel it? See it?
[38:04] Speaker 2: You know?
[38:04] Speaker 6: It's like, what was this? And then I got to
[38:06] Speaker 6: talking to some people in the old timers. I guess
[38:08] Speaker 6: if you had a round in it and you set
[38:11] Speaker 6: it down too hard on the butt and would go
[38:12] Speaker 6: off and shoot your thumber, your ear off or both.
[38:15] Speaker 6: So cheez, it's on the wall, never be taken down again.
[38:22] Speaker 4: Well, there are those guns. You look at it and just go,
[38:24] Speaker 4: that's just dumb. I don't know what they were thinking
[38:26] Speaker 4: about that. It's you know, but there have always been
[38:29] Speaker 4: people who tinker with the design of guns as well,
[38:32] Speaker 4: and so there are some strange things out there. So
[38:34] Speaker 4: do you have a gun that you say, Okay, this
[38:35] Speaker 4: is my favorite if I had my go to on everything, Well, I.
[38:39] Speaker 6: Shoot sporting plays, you know, I shoot sporting plays of
[38:42] Speaker 6: barretta DT eleven when I go Duck Hut and the
[38:44] Speaker 6: Barretta A four hundred. So I'm a Bretta guy.
[38:47] Speaker 2: There you go. You can't go wrong with Barretta's good call.
[38:50] Speaker 2: Thank you, sir. I appreciate that. Yeah, if you said.
[38:54] Speaker 4: Okay, I want a shotgun front, I want a really
[38:56] Speaker 4: good shotgun, Just get a Bretta. Whether it's an over
[38:59] Speaker 4: and Under or Semiauto, it's probably gonna work really well
[39:02] Speaker 4: for you. I remember a guy told me. He says, yeah,
[39:05] Speaker 4: Barrett of the over Runners there's a nice inexpensive shotgun.
[39:07] Speaker 4: So I was looking at one who's like three grand
[39:10] Speaker 4: or something. Then I found out that he was a
[39:12] Speaker 4: dealer and a repair guy for five was a good
[39:14] Speaker 4: inexpensive starter gun for him. It's all relative, isn't it,
[39:18] Speaker 4: you know? And the three grand is a lot of
[39:20] Speaker 4: money from me. But there you go, all right? Eight
[39:23] Speaker 4: six' Six Talk Gun we'll get you in. Here Or

[40:14] Speaker 4: stop a. Crime and you are your own first. Responder
[40:19] Speaker 4: nobody else is going to be, there the police don't
[40:23] Speaker 4: even have a legal duty to protect.
[40:25] Speaker 2: You did you know that several.
[40:28] Speaker 4: Court cases have decided the police don't have a legal
[40:31] Speaker 4: duty to protect. You so you decided to carry a,
[40:39] Speaker 4: gun decided to get a, gun decide to carry a.

[41:48] Speaker 4: yeah that's where we're going to. Start there's specific way

[41:55] Speaker 4: behind you're sitting at a. Table you need to draw
[41:58] Speaker 4: from the city. Position are you going to pull the
[42:01] Speaker 4: gun out of your horst and then clunk it into
[42:02] Speaker 4: the bottom side of the. Table do you know how

[42:16] Speaker 4: to clear your? House do you know that you can't
[42:19] Speaker 4: point your gun at everything you're looking at many cases
[42:24] Speaker 4: that would actually be a crime to go through a
[42:26] Speaker 4: house waving or go through a place waving your, gun
[42:28] Speaker 4: pointing it at everybody because you think they're a.
[42:30] Speaker 2: Threat, oh you didn't know.
