[0:02] Speaker 1: It's now time to welcome... Hi. the people's prince. I'm
[0:07] Speaker 1: part-time enjoyer of Nickelback.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Wow.
[0:10] Speaker 1: He's toured the world, offended the royals, and has zero
[0:15] Speaker 1: touch on reality. I'm always a fun time. That's why
[0:19] Speaker 1: we love him.
[0:21] Speaker 3: Get ready.
[0:21] Speaker 2: Yes!
[0:22] Speaker 1: It's Joel Creasy. Joel Creasy!
[0:26] Speaker 2: With The Joel Creasy Show.
[0:31] Speaker 1: Welcome to the Joel Creasy Show for your Monday lunchtime.
[0:34] Speaker 1: I know it's Monday, it's the start of the week,
[0:37] Speaker 1: but I am your humble court jester here to entertain
[0:39] Speaker 1: you for the next five days and get you through
[0:42] Speaker 1: to another weekend where we can just let loose. Coming
[0:44] Speaker 1: up today, we're catching up with the Where's Your Head
[0:47] Speaker 1: At podcast hosts, Anna McAvoy and Matt Zukowski, who between
[0:51] Speaker 1: them have a slew of reality TV credits and are
[0:54] Speaker 1: good friends of mine. They're The studio is actually across
[0:57] Speaker 1: the hall from mine, so I'm finally going to pull
[0:59] Speaker 1: them over in for a chat.
[1:01] Speaker 4: This is the Joel Creasy Show.
[1:03] Speaker 1: I've dragged them across the way from their studio. Anna
[1:07] Speaker 1: McEvoy and Matt Zukowski of the Where's Your Head At podcast.
[1:10] Speaker 1: Thank you for coming to join me in my studio.
[1:11] Speaker 4: Thanks for having us.
[1:13] Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks for having us, man.
[1:14] Speaker 4: Across the hall.
[1:14] Speaker 1: I know. I look on longingly into your studio because
[1:18] Speaker 1: last time I saw you, you had a psyche.
[1:22] Speaker 4: We had the human lie detector.
[1:23] Speaker 1: Lie detector.
[1:24] Speaker 4: It was scary. I was, like, sweating.
[1:27] Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
[1:28] Speaker 1: I am a sweater, I've realised.
[1:30] Speaker 4: Are you?
[1:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, only recently. When you get thrown in the.
[1:31] Speaker 3: Hot seat by him, he's, like, really sweating.
[1:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[1:34] Speaker 3: He knows every tale you have about lying.
[1:37] Speaker 1: What sort of questions was he asking me?
[1:39] Speaker 2: He said to us that people lie 40 times a day,
[1:42] Speaker 2: white lies.
[1:43] Speaker 4: And I was like, that cannot be true.
[1:45] Speaker 1: Well, people like me are probably bringing, like, the average up,
[1:47] Speaker 1: so I'm probably doing 120. Someone sweet like you, Anna's
[1:50] Speaker 1: probably doing, like, 10, and that's where the balance is
[1:52] Speaker 1: coming in.
[1:53] Speaker 2: Right, yeah.
[1:53] Speaker 1: Makes sense.
[1:54] Speaker 3: No, he was just saying you lie about just everyday stuff,
[1:59] Speaker 3: like you don't just protect stuff, protect people. If someone
[2:01] Speaker 3: asks you how you're going and you say good, that's
[2:04] Speaker 3: a lie.
[2:04] Speaker 1: But would you rather someone say that, like, if you
[2:07] Speaker 1: ask them how they're going and you say good? Would
[2:09] Speaker 1: you rather, like, them lie and just say good or
[2:12] Speaker 1: be like, actually, I've had the worst day. Like, my
[2:14] Speaker 1: wife's left me. And then you get stuck talking to them.
[2:16] Speaker 4: Depends how close we are. Yeah.
[2:19] Speaker 3: If it's the girl, the cash credit is probably just
[2:21] Speaker 3: to make sure.
[2:22] Speaker 4: I have had that happen before, though.
[2:23] Speaker 2: Really?
[2:24] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:24] Speaker 1: Like, over.
[2:25] Speaker 2: I'm just having a really bad day. And I was like, oh, no,
[2:27] Speaker 2: what happened? And then I was like, oh, I shouldn't
[2:29] Speaker 2: have asked that. And then it just continued.
[2:30] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[2:31] Speaker 1: You have to be careful. You're taking her out for dinner.
[2:33] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[2:35] Speaker 3: You've got your best friends now.
[2:37] Speaker 1: Yeah can i just say when i met you both
[2:39] Speaker 1: first met you both you were because i don't like
[2:41] Speaker 1: being described as normal right and i'm not calling you
[2:44] Speaker 1: normal in in that way but when i first met
[2:46] Speaker 1: you both you were both very normal and like it
[2:48] Speaker 1: took me a moment to find out that you won
[2:50] Speaker 1: and i like you won love island like you didn't
[2:52] Speaker 1: even you didn't open like some people open with that.
[2:54] Speaker 3: Yeah we were sitting in a booth remember i actually
[2:56] Speaker 3: remember what you're saying yeah you were talking about where
[2:58] Speaker 3: everyone placed on the TV shows because someone else obviously
[3:01] Speaker 3: brought it up.
[3:02] Speaker 1: Of course.
[3:02] Speaker 3: Definitely not Matt. It was definitely someone else.
[3:07] Speaker 1: But you were the same too. You weren't just like
[3:08] Speaker 1: boasting about your savings. Some people literally before they say hello, like,
[3:12] Speaker 1: you know, kind of rattle off what they've done. And
[3:14] Speaker 1: I was like, oh, these guys are impressive. Yeah. Yeah.
[3:17] Speaker 1: So thanks for being nice.
[3:19] Speaker 4: You're always lovely.
[3:20] Speaker 3: Oh, you're welcome.
[3:21] Speaker 2: And you also don't lead with your resume, which is lovely.
[3:25] Speaker 3: No.
[3:25] Speaker 1: At least, you know, let them get like a little
[3:28] Speaker 1: bit of conversation and then I'll mention Joe.
[3:29] Speaker 3: Then he just dumped it on us. We had like
[3:33] Speaker 3: one drink or two and then he was like, hey.
[3:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I'll corner you and that's your night done.
[3:38] Speaker 2: The Joel Creasy Show.
[3:40] Speaker 1: Anna McAvoy and Matt Zukowski. You can listen to their podcast,
[3:44] Speaker 1: Where's Your Head At? on the Nova Player app or
[3:47] Speaker 1: wherever you get your podcasts. How long has your podcast
[3:50] Speaker 1: been running? Because it feels very successful.
[3:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, five years. We are so different.
[3:54] Speaker 2: Like we started the podcast as two single people and
[3:57] Speaker 2: we were like, let's talk about dating.
[3:59] Speaker 4: Let's talk about relationships.
[4:01] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[4:01] Speaker 4: And within three months, I was in a relationship.
[4:05] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[4:05] Speaker 3: I was as well at that point as well.
[4:07] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[4:07] Speaker 4: Like it's just been a crazy, like there's been marriages, there's.
[4:10] Speaker 2: Been divorces, there's been stepkids, there's been.
[4:14] Speaker 1: Baby from me.
[4:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, baby from me.
[4:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, congratulations.
[4:17] Speaker 5: Thank you.
[4:17] Speaker 1: I don't even think I've seen you since then.
[4:19] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[4:20] Speaker 4: I know. It's so good.
[4:21] Speaker 1: Yeah, God, we're adults.
[4:23] Speaker 4: I know. Don't you hate, like, realising that? You're like.
[4:26] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[4:27] Speaker 1: Because, like, I hope it's the same for both of you.
[4:30] Speaker 1: I'm renovating at the moment. I'm getting all these questions.
[4:32] Speaker 1: And I'm like, but I'm a kid.
[4:33] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[4:34] Speaker 1: I replied to my account the other day, YOLO, because
[4:35] Speaker 1: I didn't know what to say.
[4:38] Speaker 3: Oh, mate, imagine his account reading that. That's pretty bad.
[4:41] Speaker 3: That's funny.
[4:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know what to do. I've got to
[4:43] Speaker 1: go back on air.
[4:43] Speaker 3: I didn't.
[4:44] Speaker 1: Because I've done a bit of reality TV and it's
[4:47] Speaker 1: reality TV fans are passionate. You must have gotten a boat.
[4:51] Speaker 3: Well, you were quite lucky.
[4:52] Speaker 4: I was lucky, but there's definitely times.
[4:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, I was. I got, yeah, I got. No, on
[4:58] Speaker 3: La Banda, I got some.
[4:59] Speaker 1: But you were the same season.
[5:00] Speaker 3: Yeah. So she won and I came second.
[5:03] Speaker 2: Sly.
[5:03] Speaker 1: I knew I liked you for a reason.
[5:06] Speaker 4: But separately.
[5:07] Speaker 2: Separately.
[5:07] Speaker 3: Not to get, like, obviously.
[5:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, how quickly did you just go, like, meh to
[5:11] Speaker 1: each other?
[5:11] Speaker 4: Immediately.
[5:12] Speaker 3: Immediately.
[5:12] Speaker 1: Love Island was both your first reality shows, right?
[5:15] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:15] Speaker 1: Which I also think people can pick a hard time
[5:18] Speaker 1: to house size. Anyone that does reality TV, you're opening
[5:21] Speaker 1: up and offering up your life for people's entertainment. That
[5:24] Speaker 1: takes guts.
[5:26] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[5:26] Speaker 2: And we were both modelling full time with Chadwick Models
[5:29] Speaker 2: and our agent was like, If you go on the show,
[5:32] Speaker 2: you will never work as a model another day in
[5:35] Speaker 2: your life again.
[5:36] Speaker 3: We did it a while ago. Yeah, ages ago. It
[5:39] Speaker 3: had a different reputation back then.
[5:41] Speaker 4: It's a different lifetime, although.
[5:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, to what it does now.
[5:43] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:44] Speaker 3: No offence to people doing it now, but I feel
[5:45] Speaker 3: like it's... No, you're pioneers. People are pioneers, yeah. I
[5:49] Speaker 3: let people go on there with a certain expectation.
[5:53] Speaker 2: 100%.
[5:53] Speaker 3: Whereas we did it, it was sort of like this
[5:55] Speaker 3: new show and we were just like, yeah, I'm single
[5:58] Speaker 3: and lonely.
[5:58] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[6:00] Speaker 3: If I can meet someone to get a tan, cool.
[6:02] Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
[6:04] Speaker 1: Well, when I signed up to do I'm a Celebrity.
[6:06] Speaker 3: You were season one, weren't you?
[6:07] Speaker 1: Season one. And I remember all the comedy agents were like, well,
[6:11] Speaker 1: he'll never work in comedy again. This is a terrible idea.
[6:13] Speaker 1: He's a comedian. Comedians don't do that. And now every
[6:16] Speaker 1: single one has done it.
[6:18] Speaker 3: Well, literally, you were a pioneer for that.
[6:20] Speaker 1: You did Celeb, didn't you?
[6:21] Speaker 3: I did Celeb this year.
[6:21] Speaker 1: Who were you there with?
[6:23] Speaker 3: My comedian was Nate Falvo.
[6:24] Speaker 1: Oh, ballet. Sorry about that. Was that it? No, was
[6:27] Speaker 1: that it? Conchetta?
[6:28] Speaker 3: Was she there? Conchetta won.
[6:30] Speaker 1: Did she win?
[6:30] Speaker 3: She won in the end, yeah. Really? How did you
[6:32] Speaker 3: find it?
[6:33] Speaker 1: Boring.
[6:34] Speaker 3: But that's what no one explains to you, how boring
[6:36] Speaker 3: the days are.
[6:37] Speaker 1: You want to get into the Tucker Trials or whatever
[6:39] Speaker 1: because it's something to do.
[6:40] Speaker 3: It's so funny when they're about to read your name out,
[6:42] Speaker 3: who goes? You're like, f * * *, not me,
[6:43] Speaker 3: not me. Yeah. And then it's not you and you're like,
[6:45] Speaker 3: f * * *, I wish it was me. Can
[6:46] Speaker 3: we swear on this?
[6:47] Speaker 1: Absolutely can f * * * ing swear. Yeah, I
[6:49] Speaker 1: know what you mean. It's like, give me something to do.
[6:50] Speaker 1: Same as like, what's really weird is everyone goes, what
[6:53] Speaker 1: did you have to eat? And I didn't do an
[6:55] Speaker 1: eating trial until week five. And I was in there
[6:57] Speaker 1: with Barry Hall, the football player. So I was like, well,
[6:59] Speaker 1: I don't want to look like, you know, the weak
[7:00] Speaker 1: gay guy. So I was like, I'll go first, eating whatever...
[7:03] Speaker 1: rap it was, quite literally. And because I was so hungry,
[7:06] Speaker 1: it wasn't that bad.
[7:08] Speaker 4: You're like, I'm starving.
[7:10] Speaker 3: I'm starving.
[7:10] Speaker 1: I'll eat this.
[7:10] Speaker 3: I went in the first one.
[7:12] Speaker 1: Did you have to drink anything?
[7:13] Speaker 3: Yeah. You didn't have to do that.
[7:14] Speaker 1: That looks the worst.
[7:15] Speaker 3: A beetle smoothie or something. A beetle smoothie. And then
[7:18] Speaker 3: like the beetles were like, eat it. But I ate
[7:21] Speaker 3: a pig's anus.
[7:22] Speaker 2: Really?
[7:23] Speaker 1: And what did you eat on the show?
[7:24] Speaker 3: Yes, Jessica.
[7:30] Speaker 4: Creasy.
[7:31] Speaker 1: It's Michael, isn't it?
[7:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[7:32] Speaker 1: I think you were only just dating when we first met.
[7:35] Speaker 3: Yeah, it would have.
[7:36] Speaker 1: Been really early.
[7:37] Speaker 2: Yeah. Early days.
[7:37] Speaker 1: You all loved up.
[7:38] Speaker 2: I know.
[7:39] Speaker 3: I know.
[7:40] Speaker 1: Then what's your problem? Come on, man. Crickets.
[7:45] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[7:46] Speaker 1: But is this good content for the podcast? Is this
[7:48] Speaker 1: mostly what you do?
[7:49] Speaker 5: It is.
[7:51] Speaker 3: Until it's not.
[7:52] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[7:52] Speaker 4: Until it's not.
[7:53] Speaker 1: I know, yeah. You become tabloid fodder sometimes.
[7:56] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[7:56] Speaker 1: I know him.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
[7:57] Speaker 3: Poor thing. They just love me, don't they?
[8:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, they love you. I mean, they've got to fill
[8:02] Speaker 1: those pages somehow, the Daily Mail. They're like, all right,
[8:04] Speaker 1: who's he dating?
[8:05] Speaker 3: What's he up to now?
[8:07] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[8:07] Speaker 3: Let's lean on him.
[8:08] Speaker 1: But then you've got the podcast to clap back at least.
[8:10] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[8:10] Speaker 4: And that has a colourful dating life. So, I mean,
[8:12] Speaker 4: it's interesting, you know, following along, right?
[8:15] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[8:15] Speaker 1: Well, then you're both telling me, like, you know people
[8:18] Speaker 1: on The Traders. Yes.
[8:21] Speaker 5: Yes.
[8:21] Speaker 2: It's so funny, Matt and I, I think we were
[8:24] Speaker 2: actually in the podcast studio and it came up on
[8:27] Speaker 2: like a page and I was like, oh, there's my
[8:29] Speaker 2: ex on The Traders.
[8:30] Speaker 4: And then I like, you know, flick across and I'm like,
[8:32] Speaker 4: and there's your ex.
[8:34] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[8:36] Speaker 1: It's weird, isn't it?
[8:38] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[8:39] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[8:39] Speaker 1: Did you do that show?
[8:41] Speaker 3: Traders?
[8:41] Speaker 1: Yes.
[8:42] Speaker 4: I don't think so.
[8:43] Speaker 1: Well, we know how you go under the lie detector test,
[8:45] Speaker 1: you sweat.
[8:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. So I wouldn't do it. I'm not
[8:47] Speaker 4: a good liar. Matt, I think you'd be.
[8:49] Speaker 3: I'd be all right, I feel. I don't know the
[8:51] Speaker 3: actual concept. I don't know the concept of it, though.
[8:53] Speaker 1: I think it's like murder in the dark. Remember that
[8:55] Speaker 1: game you used to play as a kid?
[8:56] Speaker 3: Vaguely.
[8:57] Speaker 1: Yeah, same.
[8:58] Speaker 3: Vaguely.
[8:59] Speaker 1: Someone said that to me. Now I'm saying it to you.
[9:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. I'll go Google it and see. Someone, there's
[9:04] Speaker 3: people that are the murderers and then there's people that
[9:06] Speaker 3: are trying to suss him and they have to lie.
[9:08] Speaker 3: Do they do challenges during the day?
[9:09] Speaker 1: Traders and Faithfuls, and I think they do challenges. I
[9:11] Speaker 1: think it's a bit like The Mole. Remember that show?
[9:13] Speaker 3: Vaguely? Yeah, another one.
[9:14] Speaker 1: Do you guys do any, do you do live shows?
[9:17] Speaker 4: We have done, yeah.
[9:18] Speaker 1: Actually, I saw the photos.
[9:20] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[9:21] Speaker 4: Massive.
[9:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, we just, I'll preface by saying, we don't get
[9:25] Speaker 3: along when that happens.
[9:26] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[9:27] Speaker 4: What do you mean? I like to prepare, and Matt
[9:29] Speaker 4: likes to just like.
[9:30] Speaker 3: Go out there.
[9:31] Speaker 4: You know. Matt does like zero level of preparation.
[9:34] Speaker 3: I stormed out of my hotel room. And left her
[9:38] Speaker 3: in there in Brisbane.
[9:38] Speaker 1: You should be a housewife.
[9:41] Speaker 4: Mads were dramatic. I'm like, it takes a lot to
[9:43] Speaker 4: deal with this. In the start of our podcasting days,
[9:46] Speaker 4: we would fight all the time.
[9:48] Speaker 3: All the time.
[9:49] Speaker 1: Right.
[9:49] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[9:50] Speaker 3: You stormed out of an actual record. Yeah, dude.
[9:54] Speaker 1: You were so annoying.
[9:54] Speaker 3: And then you stormed out and we didn't record.
[9:56] Speaker 1: We're talking about astrology.
[9:57] Speaker 4: I feel like it always comes back.
[9:59] Speaker 3: I was like, no one cares.
[10:01] Speaker 4: Yeah. Matt, like, I feel it comes a lot to
[10:04] Speaker 4: do with, I'm not allowed to say this. I'm going
[10:06] Speaker 4: to get in trouble for saying this.
[10:08] Speaker 3: Partners.
[10:09] Speaker 2: Oh, oh.
[10:10] Speaker 1: But do you bleed? Or do you cough?
[10:12] Speaker 3: No, no, no, no. It's just I can't say anything
[10:15] Speaker 3: about what's going on in my life. Yeah, yeah.
[10:16] Speaker 5: Sort of thing.
[10:17] Speaker 4: Like you're not allowed, which, yeah.
[10:18] Speaker 1: But then when you say prepare, what does it prepare
[10:21] Speaker 1: for a live show?
[10:22] Speaker 4: Just like, I don't know.
[10:23] Speaker 1: What's he not doing?
[10:24] Speaker 3: Everything.
[10:25] Speaker 2: He genuinely wants to like post this.
[10:28] Speaker 3: Let's not do this. Let's not do it.
[10:30] Speaker 1: I love it. This is way better than the Housewives
[10:32] Speaker 1: of Union.
[10:32] Speaker 4: Let's not get the beef started again.
[10:34] Speaker 3: No, Anna just wants to read the script.
[10:36] Speaker 2: No, I want to organize what we're going to talk about.
[10:39] Speaker 2: Matt's kind of like, let's just see how we feel.
[10:41] Speaker 2: I'm like, see how we feel?
[10:43] Speaker 3: Well, I have top points.
[10:45] Speaker 4: No, it's like, it's too, yeah, I like to prepare.
[10:49] Speaker 3: Whereas I like to be like, you know, I've got
[10:51] Speaker 3: to feel the crowd.
[10:52] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[10:53] Speaker 3: As a stand-up, you would know that. You've got to
[10:55] Speaker 3: feel the crowd.
[10:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, but Joel's not rolling into a stand-up with like,
[10:58] Speaker 2: I'll just see what joke comes to mind.
[11:00] Speaker 4: I'm sure you've thought about it.
[11:01] Speaker 3: I was at yours one time when you were going
[11:03] Speaker 3: over your jokes.
[11:05] Speaker 1: I was, like, performing jokes for you.
[11:06] Speaker 3: No, you were going over your script.
[11:08] Speaker 1: Oh, God, how awful. I'm a monster.
[11:11] Speaker 3: You were going over your stand-up set, do you remember?
[11:13] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. And I must say, I am, like, I
[11:17] Speaker 1: hate writing a set list. Like, I always start with welcome. Like,
[11:20] Speaker 1: I'm going to forget. You two are the best. I
[11:23] Speaker 1: could talk to you all day. Listen to Anna and
[11:25] Speaker 1: Matt's podcast, where you had it. You are, yeah, just
[11:28] Speaker 1: both a delight. And, yeah, swing by any time. We're neighbours.
[11:31] Speaker 4: Thanks, I know.
[11:32] Speaker 3: You should come along. Happily.
[11:34] Speaker 1: You know me. I'm such a wallflower. Swing by any time. Thanks, guys.
[11:37] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[11:38] Speaker 5: Bye.
[11:39] Speaker 4: This is The Joel Creasy Show.
[11:42] Speaker 2: Time to read up on all the hot goss in
[11:45] Speaker 2: the world of showbiz from an actual scroll delivered straight
[11:49] Speaker 2: to Joel's studio.
[11:51] Speaker 1: It's Joel's Scroll Update. I just can't quit her today.
[11:57] Speaker 1: Natalie Locke, hello.
[11:58] Speaker 3: Good morning.
[11:59] Speaker 1: What time of day is it?
[12:00] Speaker 3: Good afternoon, Joel.
[12:02] Speaker 1: You normally do the morning shift, so you are forgiven
[12:04] Speaker 1: for saying that. And also, you know I love it
[12:06] Speaker 1: when you make a mistake. I know, I did that
[12:09] Speaker 1: just for you. What a gift. No, because Nat never
[12:11] Speaker 1: makes a mistake, so when she does, it's like, she's human.
[12:14] Speaker 3: I'm practically perfect in every way.
[12:16] Speaker 1: Well, speaking of practically perfect, you know how much I
[12:18] Speaker 1: love a bit of Celine Dion. Are you a Celine fan?
[12:21] Speaker 2: I mean.
[12:25] Speaker 3: Oh, she's okay.
[12:26] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so sorry.
[12:27] Speaker 3: I feel like I'm disappointing you.
[12:29] Speaker 5: I mean, I don't dislike Celine Dion.
[12:31] Speaker 1: My booth is aghast. I was in the producer booth.
[12:34] Speaker 3: She's fine. She's fine.
[12:36] Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. She said the greatest thing I've ever
[12:38] Speaker 1: heard anyone ever say at a concert. She once said
[12:40] Speaker 1: to the crowd before singing a song, she goes, this
[12:42] Speaker 1: next song is dedicated to anybody that has ever been
[12:44] Speaker 1: a parent and dedicated to anybody that has ever been
[12:47] Speaker 1: a child. That's everybody. Okay, just say everybody. That's everybody, Celine. Anyway,
[12:52] Speaker 1: she's doing a residency in Paris. I wish I was there.
[12:55] Speaker 1: I love her so much. And she was spotted dancing
[12:57] Speaker 1: for fans outside of her hotel ahead of the residency.
[13:01] Speaker 1: And then on another day, she also put on a
[13:03] Speaker 1: little show outside her hotel.
[13:05] Speaker 5: What is she getting on the Chablis or something during
[13:07] Speaker 5: the day?
[13:08] Speaker 3: Is she day drinking? What's happening? Why is she dancing?
[13:09] Speaker 5: She's just properly bonkers.
[13:11] Speaker 1: She's properly bonkers. And we love that about her. Sunny,
[13:14] Speaker 1: be on. She was joined by fans in an impromptu sing-along.
[13:17] Speaker 1: Have a listen.
[13:21] Speaker 3: I'm going to look for.
[13:24] Speaker 1: Your name in the sky. Natalie, as I often tell people,
[13:39] Speaker 1: you speak a million languages.
[13:40] Speaker 3: Oh, I am.
[13:41] Speaker 1: I am what's known as a polyglot. What did you
[13:45] Speaker 1: call me? What was she saying there? Oh, just why?
[13:51] Speaker 5: Why am I singing in the streets?
[13:52] Speaker 3: That's what she was singing.
[13:53] Speaker 1: She just lives for it. I know.
[13:55] Speaker 3: Extraordinary.
[13:56] Speaker 5: Of course, she did represent Switzerland in Eurovision. You know that, right? Correct.
[14:00] Speaker 1: Of course I know that.
[14:02] Speaker 3: I know, but look at me knowing it. That's more impressive.
[14:04] Speaker 1: I'm impressed. Hey, it was also night one of the
[14:08] Speaker 1: Emmys last night. Oh, nobody cares about night one.
[14:11] Speaker 3: Are you joking?
[14:11] Speaker 5: That's where they go, like, best catering and stuff, isn't it?
[14:16] Speaker 1: Exactly what we said. Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny, they
[14:19] Speaker 1: each won their first ever Emmy Award. Sabrina won Outstanding
[14:24] Speaker 1: Variety Special for The Muppet Show. A bit controversial because
[14:27] Speaker 1: she beat the Ariana and Cynthia Wicked Special.
[14:30] Speaker 3: Oh, controversial. Yep.
[14:32] Speaker 1: And Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show won seven. For
[14:35] Speaker 1: best halftime show. Like, what category is that? I know
[14:40] Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg must be pissed.
[14:42] Speaker 5: Yeah, and Kylie's not eligible because she hasn't done the
[14:44] Speaker 5: AFL Grand Final yet.
[14:46] Speaker 1: Well, that means they're both halfway to EGOT status now
[14:48] Speaker 1: with both a Grammy and an Emmy. And also that
[14:51] Speaker 1: means I can tell this next story. Kylie Minogue. Oh,
[14:54] Speaker 1: great segue, Nat. Yeah, I know. Thank you so much
[14:57] Speaker 1: for hosting my show for me. There are rumours floating
[15:00] Speaker 1: around that she is in Melbourne ahead of the AFL
[15:03] Speaker 1: Grand Final. What vicious rumours they are too.
[15:05] Speaker 2: Oh, no.
[15:05] Speaker 1: No, I know. Ron and Carol was spotted at the airport, perhaps,
[15:09] Speaker 1: at Tullamarine. Well, I know you are, of course, in
[15:13] Speaker 1: Perth and are one of those weird people that support
[15:15] Speaker 1: the West Coast Eagles. So what are you more excited
[15:17] Speaker 1: about in the grand final, the potential of the Dockers
[15:21] Speaker 1: or Kylie?
[15:22] Speaker 5: Okay, so as a West Coast Eagles fan, the potential
[15:24] Speaker 5: that the Dockers might get beaten in the grand final, amazing, amazing.
[15:27] Speaker 1: Imagine how good that would be.
[15:29] Speaker 5: But also, I mean, seeing Kylie, I know she's going
[15:31] Speaker 5: to put on an incredible show.
[15:33] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[15:33] Speaker 5: And I think that AFL grand final pre-game entertainment has
[15:36] Speaker 5: been levelling.
[15:37] Speaker 1: Up over the last few years. I agree.
[15:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[15:40] Speaker 1: Katy Perry, incredible. Robbie Williams, he was brilliant.
[15:43] Speaker 5: So it's getting better and better each year, and I
[15:45] Speaker 5: think Kylie will just add to that.
[15:47] Speaker 1: And you and I watched– the grand final together last year.
[15:50] Speaker 1: And so we were there when Snoop Dogg performed and
[15:52] Speaker 1: we were both on, what's it called? Spittin' Rhymes? Is
[15:54] Speaker 1: that what they call it? Spittin' Rhymes?
[15:56] Speaker 5: Yeah, that's exactly what we were doing.
[15:57] Speaker 1: We were spittin'. I don't know about rhymes.
[15:59] Speaker 3: The Joel Creasy Show is done.
[16:05] Speaker 1: But Joel's got plenty more to say.
