[0:02] Speaker 1: It's now time to welcome... Hi. the people's prince.
[0:07] Speaker 2: And part-time skydive instructor. Wow.
[0:10] Speaker 3: But we've locked him in a studio completely alone.
[0:14] Speaker 1: Truly, check the socials. He's currently filing his nails.
[0:19] Speaker 2: Get ready. Yes!
[0:21] Speaker 1: It's Joe Creasy. Joe Creasy!
[0:24] Speaker 2: With the Joe Creasy Show. Two for two.
[0:30] Speaker 1: She's back. Welcome to the Joel Creasy Show. Wow. I
[0:35] Speaker 1: feel like the cat that got the cream.
[0:38] Speaker 3: I am thrilled to finally reveal to you why I
[0:40] Speaker 3: popped to New York City over the weekend, which feels
[0:44] Speaker 3: like a ridiculous sentence in itself.
[0:47] Speaker 1: I saw Bruno Mars live.
[0:50] Speaker 3: Not only that, I got to interview him ahead of
[0:54] Speaker 3: his Australian tour, which he just did.
[0:57] Speaker 1: And let me tell you, the show is phenomenal.
[1:02] Speaker 3: And I'm not just saying that because I went to
[1:04] Speaker 3: New York and saw it and spoke to him.
[1:06] Speaker 1: It is phenomenal. Bite, scratch and claw to get tickets.
[1:11] Speaker 3: Rolling Stone described him as the greatest showman of our generation. Yeah,
[1:16] Speaker 3: like that is the least we can say. I am
[1:19] Speaker 3: shooketh if people are still saying that. You're going to
[1:23] Speaker 3: hear my full chat with Bruno tomorrow. I was a
[1:25] Speaker 3: little bit of a hot mess. in the interview, but
[1:27] Speaker 3: we've got a house on fire. I think we might
[1:29] Speaker 3: be best mates. And I'm going to talk more Bruno
[1:33] Speaker 3: Mars in Scroll Update today and also tell you how
[1:36] Speaker 3: you can win tickets. Like, seriously, this is the concert
[1:39] Speaker 3: you want to go to. Before all that, we're also
[1:42] Speaker 3: catching up with Sonia Kruger today. But let's get into
[1:47] Speaker 3: the man, the man himself.
[1:49] Speaker 1: I saw it live. It was phenomenal.
[1:51] Speaker 3: Get excited about my chat with the one and only
[1:52] Speaker 3: Bruno Mars tomorrow with a bit of uptown funk on Nova.
[1:55] Speaker 1: This is the Joel Creasy Show. The queen of Australian
[1:59] Speaker 1: television herself. Sonia Kruger. Hello, gorgeous.
[2:03] Speaker 2: Well, hello to you, Joel Creasy.
[2:05] Speaker 1: You are someone who.
[2:07] Speaker 2: My brother from another mother. We are. We are.
[2:09] Speaker 1: We kind of are siblings in so many ways.
[2:12] Speaker 2: I feel that.
[2:13] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[2:13] Speaker 2: I do.
[2:13] Speaker 1: We both have a very cheeky sense of humour.
[2:15] Speaker 2: Yes.
[2:16] Speaker 1: You really make me laugh.
[2:18] Speaker 2: You know, you remind me a bit of my younger brother.
[2:21] Speaker 1: Really?
[2:21] Speaker 2: He's also exceedingly annoying, but really funny.
[2:26] Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
[2:27] Speaker 3: I always say about my sisters, I'm like, you know,
[2:29] Speaker 3: they're not my cup of tea, but they're great.
[2:30] Speaker 1: You know, I'm told they're great.
[2:34] Speaker 2: I'd love to talk about my family. I just can't
[2:36] Speaker 2: recall their names.
[2:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
[2:37] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[2:38] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[2:38] Speaker 3: My fiance, oh, the name escapes me. But yeah, apparently
[2:41] Speaker 3: he's got a good personality. You are someone that I...
[2:45] Speaker 3: Because I love hosting TV. I think I get such
[2:48] Speaker 3: a rush of hosting TV. And you and I reckon
[2:52] Speaker 3: Gretel Colleen taught me how to host live television.
[2:55] Speaker 1: You are masters of PR.
[2:58] Speaker 2: Oh, wow. That's such a compliment. And I know Gretel
[3:01] Speaker 2: would feel the same way about that too. And I
[3:03] Speaker 2: think the weird thing is she and I both just
[3:06] Speaker 2: ended up being sort of thrown into it, I guess.
[3:10] Speaker 2: I mean, I don't want to talk for Gretel, but.
[3:12] Speaker 2: It's one of those things, isn't it? Like live TV,
[3:14] Speaker 2: you learn on the job.
[3:17] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[3:17] Speaker 3: How are you going to recreate it? And what I
[3:20] Speaker 3: love about it is the risk and the rush. And
[3:23] Speaker 3: it's so exciting. I get such a kick out of it.
[3:25] Speaker 3: Is that the same for you?
[3:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, totally. What do they say? No risk, no reward. 100%.
[3:30] Speaker 1: And, you know, there's all that crew behind the scenes.
[3:34] Speaker 3: But, you know, and, you know, there's often a studio
[3:36] Speaker 3: audience and, you know, no matter the show, but it's
[3:39] Speaker 3: all on you, baby.
[3:41] Speaker 2: Yes. And you know what? I remember looking, I think
[3:43] Speaker 2: when I first had to do, it was The Voice.
[3:46] Speaker 2: And I think I had to do The Voice solo
[3:48] Speaker 2: for the first time. Yeah. And it's so much easier
[3:51] Speaker 2: when you have an on-air partner because if you forget something.
[3:54] Speaker 1: Totally.
[3:55] Speaker 2: They'll pick it up for you or they'll know, okay,
[3:58] Speaker 2: she needs to be covered here. So you can kind
[4:00] Speaker 2: of riff around it with somebody else. Yeah. But when
[4:02] Speaker 2: you're stuck on your own, you can't really do that,
[4:06] Speaker 2: can you? It's wild. And I remember doing The Voice
[4:09] Speaker 2: and they handed me the script and it was like
[4:11] Speaker 2: a Bible because it was a two-hour live show. Wow.
[4:14] Speaker 2: And I just thought I have to get to the
[4:17] Speaker 2: end of the commercial break. If I can get to
[4:19] Speaker 2: the end of the first commercial break. And then I
[4:21] Speaker 2: just broke it into segments. So all you've got to
[4:24] Speaker 2: do is get through this segment and then get to
[4:27] Speaker 2: the next segment and the next segment. So that's how
[4:29] Speaker 2: I kind of approached it rather than letting the whole
[4:32] Speaker 2: thing overwhelm me.
[4:33] Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, because what else can you do? And it's
[4:36] Speaker 1: also the book.
[4:36] Speaker 2: And you know what? I never got any better from
[4:38] Speaker 2: that day.
[4:41] Speaker 1: Stick around, Sonia. Sonia Kruger is here.
[4:43] Speaker 4: And up next.
[4:44] Speaker 1: I want to talk about just genuinely how funny you are.
[4:47] Speaker 1: The Joel Creasy Show.
[4:50] Speaker 3: And we are joined in the studio by Sonia Kruger
[4:53] Speaker 3: and Son. I remembered a joke years ago on Dancing
[4:56] Speaker 3: with the Stars.
[4:56] Speaker 1: It was so naughty.
[4:57] Speaker 3: And I was like, I was, you know, a little
[5:00] Speaker 3: gay boy in Perth. And I remember watching like, she's
[5:02] Speaker 3: a queen. She's fabulous. She is so funny. She's so great.
[5:06] Speaker 1: You like, were you always funny?
[5:09] Speaker 2: I think I probably was, you know, I was a
[5:11] Speaker 2: middle child. Same.
[5:14] Speaker 1: Really? Yes, yes.
[5:15] Speaker 2: And I feel like in order to stand out as
[5:17] Speaker 2: the middle child, you have to excel at something. So
[5:21] Speaker 2: I would always like be the girly swat at school
[5:24] Speaker 2: and I'd bring home my report cards and it'd be
[5:27] Speaker 2: pressed flat. My sisters would be screwed up in a ball,
[5:29] Speaker 2: you know. My parents still never noticed me. There's not
[5:32] Speaker 2: one baby photo. So I think I just felt the
[5:35] Speaker 2: need to kind of excel or.
[5:38] Speaker 1: Be noticed.
[5:38] Speaker 2: Be noticed, make people laugh. Yeah, exactly. But I also,
[5:41] Speaker 2: I mean, I do love a double entendre.
[5:44] Speaker 4: I know you do.
[5:44] Speaker 2: Even a triple. Even a triple.
[5:47] Speaker 1: I like a triple shot. Yeah, you're so, yeah, you're
[5:50] Speaker 1: so wonderful at that.
[5:51] Speaker 3: And I appreciate that because, you know, there are so
[5:53] Speaker 3: many beige hosts out there and you really are not,
[5:56] Speaker 3: I mean, obviously a glamour zone.
[5:57] Speaker 1: We all know that. And you're funny as well. It's like,
[5:59] Speaker 1: oh my God, Sonia Kruger's got it all.
[6:02] Speaker 2: Oh, well... I don't know about that, Darl. I feel
[6:05] Speaker 2: like sometimes I'm quite disappointing when I go out IRL,
[6:08] Speaker 2: you know, and there's no hair and makeup and I'm
[6:13] Speaker 2: wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses because when people see
[6:17] Speaker 2: me not glammed, because they're so used to seeing that,
[6:20] Speaker 2: you know, image, that they see me in real life
[6:23] Speaker 2: and they're so disappointed. They can't keep the look of
[6:26] Speaker 2: disappointment off their face. It's really quite sad and I
[6:29] Speaker 2: feel I've let them down.
[6:30] Speaker 1: Okay, what is it?
[6:32] Speaker 3: Okay, what's Sonia's IRL like night, like an ideal sort
[6:36] Speaker 3: of like Saturday night? You've got the weekend free and
[6:39] Speaker 3: you're like, yeah, I want to socialise.
[6:40] Speaker 1: What are you doing?
[6:44] Speaker 2: You're staying in. I'm staying in.
[6:47] Speaker 1: You can't say that.
[6:48] Speaker 2: Most of the time now, if I go out, it's lunch.
[6:50] Speaker 2: I like to go out for lunch. If I'm going
[6:53] Speaker 2: to have a hangover, I want it to be done
[6:54] Speaker 2: by 7pm. Yeah, I can't risk it. Nope. Cannot risk
[6:58] Speaker 2: feeling like rubbish the next morning at all. And as
[7:01] Speaker 2: soon as it gets dark, for some reason I want
[7:03] Speaker 2: to be at home. Same. It used to be the opposite, right?
[7:06] Speaker 2: I wanted to be out all night, every night, but
[7:09] Speaker 2: not at all anymore. And now I find I'm having
[7:13] Speaker 2: an affair with my iPad. I'm like in the bedroom
[7:18] Speaker 2: under a blanket with my iPad, just binge watching things.
[7:22] Speaker 3: This sounds so daggy. I reckon two months ago I.
[7:26] Speaker 1: Got into TikTok.
[7:27] Speaker 3: All I want to do now is go home and
[7:28] Speaker 3: scroll and watch someone do her grocery shopping at Coles.
[7:31] Speaker 3: There's a woman that does her grocery shopping.
[7:32] Speaker 1: I love watching it.
[7:33] Speaker 2: Does it make you want to do more TikToks or
[7:36] Speaker 2: just watch more TikToks? Because I don't ever do TikTok.
[7:40] Speaker 2: I still don't get it.
[7:41] Speaker 1: No, I don't get it either.
[7:43] Speaker 3: Like I'll put up like the odd comedy clip and
[7:45] Speaker 3: then it'll flop and then it'll put me off it.
[7:47] Speaker 1: And now there's Substack.
[7:48] Speaker 2: Now there's a whole other thing we have to learn.
[7:50] Speaker 2: What's that? Substack. Well, I think it's like... Listen to
[7:54] Speaker 2: me trying to explain it.
[7:55] Speaker 1: I don't even know what it is.
[7:56] Speaker 2: It's like a news thing, but you have your own
[7:59] Speaker 2: sub stack. So you might write stuff and publish it
[8:01] Speaker 2: and then people can subscribe to your sub stack. Yours
[8:04] Speaker 2: might be funny. Mine might be, I don't know, about...
[8:08] Speaker 2: fashion or something.
[8:09] Speaker 1: Yours will be funny.
[8:11] Speaker 2: It won't be about cooking, I can tell you that much.
[8:13] Speaker 1: Can you cook?
[8:14] Speaker 2: No, I can make reservations. I'm very good at that.
[8:19] Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, absolutely. With the Kruger name. I make reservations
[8:23] Speaker 1: under your name, come to think of it. Hang around
[8:25] Speaker 1: Sonia Kruger.
[8:26] Speaker 3: After this, we will chat about the voice of which
[8:28] Speaker 3: you preside over and how Tones and I is coping
[8:31] Speaker 3: in that roadie box.
[8:34] Speaker 1: Joe. Yes, Jessica.
[8:36] Speaker 2: Creasy.
[8:37] Speaker 3: We're Catching up with Sonia Kruger. Okay, The Voice. Now,
[8:41] Speaker 3: I love that you just, you know, really humbled Tones
[8:44] Speaker 3: and I by sticking her in a box for some
[8:46] Speaker 3: time because I've seen her house.
[8:47] Speaker 1: It is bougie. And then she's hanging out in a
[8:49] Speaker 1: road case watching everyone else. I know.
[8:51] Speaker 2: Poor Tones. We put her in a roadie box. We
[8:53] Speaker 2: wheeled her around. We called her Byron. That was her
[8:56] Speaker 2: code name.
[8:57] Speaker 1: Oh, really?
[8:58] Speaker 2: And it was really bad because they always said to me, look,
[9:01] Speaker 2: the coaches don't know about this. So whenever we talk
[9:04] Speaker 2: to you about her on comms, it has to be Byron.
[9:08] Speaker 2: So they'd say... At some point during the blind auditions,
[9:11] Speaker 2: you need to go and see Byron. And I was like,
[9:12] Speaker 2: who's Byron?
[9:13] Speaker 1: Who the hell is Byron? And they're like, you know, Byron.
[9:16] Speaker 2: And I'd be like, oh, Tones.
[9:18] Speaker 1: And they're like, shut up, Sonia.
[9:21] Speaker 2: Terrible at keeping secrets. Love revealing them, though.
[9:25] Speaker 3: We hear about the judges being competitive. Like, I know
[9:28] Speaker 3: Kate really well. I'm a high key. I know she's tough,
[9:31] Speaker 3: which I like.
[9:32] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[9:32] Speaker 1: They actually are competitive with each other.
[9:35] Speaker 2: Yes, they are. I love that. They really are.
[9:36] Speaker 1: Good.
[9:37] Speaker 2: More so than I thought they would be, in fact.
[9:39] Speaker 1: Right.
[9:40] Speaker 2: You know, but I don't think you get to be
[9:43] Speaker 2: that level of famous, if you like, that level of
[9:47] Speaker 2: talented and successful and accomplished. You know, like Richard Marks
[9:51] Speaker 2: has worked with everybody and won Grammys and Melanie Chisholm's
[9:55] Speaker 2: a Spice Girl, for God's sake. I mean, I die
[9:58] Speaker 2: every single time I see her. It's crazy. Yeah. And
[10:02] Speaker 2: then Ronan, you know, Ronan is just hilarious. And then
[10:05] Speaker 2: we have Kate. So the funny thing is, Joel, when
[10:08] Speaker 2: I do reveal the secret fifth coach to them, as
[10:12] Speaker 2: in Tones and I, the reaction, it's ridiculous. It's like
[10:15] Speaker 2: when they say, and the Logie goes to, and someone
[10:21] Speaker 2: wins and some people lose. You know, is that sort
[10:24] Speaker 2: of where you're trying to look really happy about it?
[10:27] Speaker 2: But I definitely sensed there was a mixed reaction to
[10:31] Speaker 2: that news.
[10:32] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[10:33] Speaker 1: And then they were genuinely pissed.
[10:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I think the thing is. The whole information
[10:39] Speaker 2: is power, right? Yeah. So if you– these people, they're
[10:43] Speaker 2: used to being in control. They're the coaches. They're in control.
[10:46] Speaker 2: All of a sudden, they felt very out of control.
[10:49] Speaker 2: So I can't wait to see that episode back because
[10:54] Speaker 2: every time I watch The Voice, I see the whole–
[10:56] Speaker 2: all this stuff that happened that I didn't get to
[10:59] Speaker 2: see on the night. You're in the moment, yeah.
[11:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
[11:02] Speaker 2: So I'm looking forward to seeing that.
[11:05] Speaker 3: So then they whack in an extra chair? Like where's
[11:07] Speaker 3: that been– I can't say too much.
[11:11] Speaker 2: Well, then you wouldn't watch, would you?
[11:12] Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, well, you had me at Sonia Kruger
[11:15] Speaker 3: and a Spice Girl. That is some camp TV.
[11:18] Speaker 2: The funny thing is we were saying, what is it
[11:20] Speaker 2: about Tones that people love? They love her because they've
[11:23] Speaker 2: been coming up to me in the street going, really
[11:25] Speaker 2: love the fact that Tones is in there. And the
[11:27] Speaker 2: fact that she's sitting in that room on her own
[11:30] Speaker 2: talking to herself about these people is what cracks me up. Yeah.
[11:36] Speaker 2: And somebody did actually say it is a bit like
[11:38] Speaker 2: Gogglebox meets The Voice. You know, there's somebody like sort
[11:41] Speaker 2: of commentating on what they're watching. So I went and
[11:45] Speaker 2: I took her some blue M & Ms.
[11:46] Speaker 3: Do you like the blue ones, does she?
[11:48] Speaker 2: Trying to ingratiate myself with tones.
[11:50] Speaker 3: I love that Sonia Kruger is trying to ingratiate herself
[11:53] Speaker 3: with tones tonight.
[11:54] Speaker 1: That makes me feel better about myself.
[11:56] Speaker 3: And now that, you know, one of my favourite jokes
[12:00] Speaker 3: is when I did I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out
[12:01] Speaker 3: of Here. I used to call it Sonia Kruger National Park.
[12:05] Speaker 2: I lived for that. I have to say, it used
[12:08] Speaker 2: to crack me up. Because you and I didn't really
[12:11] Speaker 2: know each other then. No. No. And so I was like, oh,
[12:14] Speaker 2: my God, Jill Creasy knows who I am. Oh, shut up.
[12:18] Speaker 1: I was like, she's going to be like, who is
[12:19] Speaker 1: this little upstart?
[12:21] Speaker 2: But also, I used to joke with people that we
[12:24] Speaker 2: owned Kruger National Park.
[12:27] Speaker 1: Oh, you were just such a delight.
[12:29] Speaker 3: And, yeah, it just always feels right in the world
[12:32] Speaker 3: when you are on TV holding a microphone because– It's so, like,
[12:36] Speaker 3: having done it and studied you watching it for years
[12:40] Speaker 3: and then done it myself.
[12:41] Speaker 1: It's really, it's such a skill.
[12:42] Speaker 3: The Voice continues 7pm Sunday and 7.30pm Monday on 7
[12:46] Speaker 3: and 7+. Queen Sonia Kruger made my day.
[12:50] Speaker 2: Oh.
[12:51] Speaker 1: Love you, Joel. Well, hello, Natalie Locke.
[13:08] Speaker 2: Oh, Joel Creasy. Hello.
[13:10] Speaker 4: Oh, you know, you're basically royalty now that you get
[13:12] Speaker 4: flown around the world to do big interviews.
[13:15] Speaker 2: Look at you.
[13:16] Speaker 1: Phil's so old school.
[13:18] Speaker 3: So, yeah, we normally go through a few stories happening
[13:21] Speaker 3: in the pop culture world.
[13:23] Speaker 1: But today we have to.
[13:24] Speaker 3: Talk all things Bruno Mars because hot off the press,
[13:27] Speaker 3: one of the world's great entertainers, is back. Bruno Mars
[13:31] Speaker 3: brings the romantic tour to Australia this February and March
[13:33] Speaker 3: 2027 with special guests Tyler and Adam and Anderson Pack
[13:38] Speaker 3: as DJ Pee Wee.
[13:39] Speaker 1: Don't miss the tour of the year. Like, seriously, Natalie.
[13:42] Speaker 2: That's massive.
[13:43] Speaker 1: It was so good. You can register for pre-sale now.
[13:47] Speaker 3: Head to livenation.com.au for tickets and info like that.
[13:50] Speaker 2: This is the dream junket, Joel.
[13:52] Speaker 1: It was so.
[13:53] Speaker 3: And I was with all these other proper journos. And
[13:56] Speaker 3: there's me pretending that I am a journo.
[13:58] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[13:58] Speaker 1: And the concert. Like, the singing. First of all, Ray
[14:02] Speaker 1: was opening.
[14:03] Speaker 2: Wild.
[14:04] Speaker 4: That is unbelievable.
[14:05] Speaker 1: And then Bruno.
[14:06] Speaker 2: Has she found a husband yet? No.
[14:07] Speaker 1: Still in the market. Still in the market and still
[14:10] Speaker 1: banging that song out.
[14:11] Speaker 4: Yes.
[14:11] Speaker 1: And then Bruno comes on.
[14:13] Speaker 2: Like.
[14:15] Speaker 3: Rolling Stone, I do bring this up with him in
[14:17] Speaker 3: the interview, called him the greatest showman of our time.
[14:20] Speaker 1: He truly is.
[14:22] Speaker 3: Yes.
[14:23] Speaker 1: He's incredible.
[14:24] Speaker 2: I can't wait to see his show, actually. I think
[14:26] Speaker 2: it's going to be brilliant.
[14:27] Speaker 1: Ten out of ten, highly recommend.
[14:29] Speaker 4: That's brilliant. Now, but I want to get to you
[14:31] Speaker 4: interviewing him. So how do you make an impression with
[14:36] Speaker 4: Bruno Mars? Because he's been interviewed by people all over
[14:39] Speaker 4: the world, you know, for years, right?
[14:41] Speaker 2: Yeah. So, Joel Creasy, what was your approach?
[14:43] Speaker 3: Well, okay, so I'm there with all the other journos,
[14:45] Speaker 3: you know, there's other networks there, Sunrise, international journos, and,
[14:50] Speaker 3: you know, we're all waiting at this beautiful hotel in
[14:52] Speaker 3: We've all got our ten minutes and I walk into
[14:57] Speaker 3: the room with Bruno and I immediately fall over the
[15:03] Speaker 3: lighting rig and face plant right in front of the
[15:06] Speaker 3: biggest artist in the world.
[15:07] Speaker 1: Have a listen. Hi, I'm Joel.
[15:10] Speaker 3: I'm Joel from the Joel Creasy Show creative title at Nova.
[15:14] Speaker 1: Sorry, I'm a mess, Bruno. You are amazing.
[15:16] Speaker 2: No, I'm good, Joel.
[15:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, so what do you think about my approach now?
[15:19] Speaker 1: Is that what you would have done?
[15:20] Speaker 4: Well, did you land face first into his lap? Because
[15:23] Speaker 4: that would have been perfect.
[15:24] Speaker 2: No.
[15:24] Speaker 3: Do you know what else he was doing as well?
[15:26] Speaker 3: He was giving out roses to the female reporters.
[15:30] Speaker 2: Yes.
[15:30] Speaker 3: And because he and I had such a great rapport,
[15:32] Speaker 3: I almost thought about going back.
[15:35] Speaker 1: In and screaming at him and being like, where am I, Bruno?
[15:37] Speaker 1: I was so close to doing it.
[15:39] Speaker 2: Did he think it was on The Bachelor?
[15:40] Speaker 4: What's happening here?
[15:42] Speaker 1: What's the romantic choice? Very romantic man.
[15:45] Speaker 2: Yes, I see. I see. I mean, and as a person,
[15:49] Speaker 2: what's he like?
[15:50] Speaker 1: Well, so nice.
[15:52] Speaker 3: So everyone's coming out going, you know, I've done a
[15:54] Speaker 3: few of these before where people go, everyone's coming out going,
[15:57] Speaker 3: he's so nice.
[15:58] Speaker 1: He's so lovely. Like no one had a bad word
[16:00] Speaker 1: to say.
[16:00] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[16:01] Speaker 3: And I go in, face plant, and then I don't
[16:04] Speaker 3: know how many– how many minutes of, you know, questions
[16:08] Speaker 3: he got away or answers he got because I really
[16:11] Speaker 3: spoke at his face for quite some time.
[16:13] Speaker 2: Right. Okay. Yeah, yeah.
[16:14] Speaker 4: So it's sort of the reverse interview where he said,
[16:17] Speaker 4: are you all right? And then you talked for 10
[16:19] Speaker 4: minutes and then he said, well, thanks for your time.
[16:21] Speaker 3: Well, then I walk out and offered him my laptop
[16:23] Speaker 3: because one of the presenters before me was so prepared
[16:26] Speaker 3: and had like, you know, like, notes with their show, like,
[16:29] Speaker 3: you know, palm cards.
[16:30] Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
[16:31] Speaker 1: And I took in my laptop as, like, a clipboard.
[16:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[16:34] Speaker 1: You know, because I'm good on the fly.
[16:35] Speaker 2: And a couple of napkins.
[16:38] Speaker 1: With my notes on.
[16:39] Speaker 3: And also, Sunrise Girl sat on my notes, so they're
[16:42] Speaker 3: a bit scrunched up from in the car. And everyone's, like,
[16:45] Speaker 3: in the car, like, doing, like, serious work. And I'm like, well,
[16:48] Speaker 3: I need to do something. So I just underlined my
[16:51] Speaker 3: name on my notes in case I was going to
[16:53] Speaker 3: forget that bit.
[16:54] Speaker 1: No, that is very important.
[16:56] Speaker 2: And what do you do? Ask him about the word
[16:58] Speaker 2: or what did you do?
[16:58] Speaker 4: Can't wait to hear your whole chat.
[17:01] Speaker 2: That's going to be brilliant.
[17:02] Speaker 3: Thank you for letting me just dazzle you. And also,
[17:04] Speaker 3: of course, Nat, I'll see you on Sunday because you
[17:06] Speaker 3: and I. Got a big 4K walk in the city.
[17:10] Speaker 2: You know why, Joel? Because we are athletes.
[17:12] Speaker 1: We are elite athletes. You're the best.
[17:15] Speaker 3: I'll be back tomorrow with Bruno Mars himself and your
[17:18] Speaker 3: chance to win tickets to see him.
[17:20] Speaker 1: Stick around. The Chrissie Swan Show is up next. I'm
[17:22] Speaker 1: off to carbo load.
[17:26] Speaker 4: The Joel Chrissie Show is done.
[17:29] Speaker 1: But Joel's got.
[17:30] Speaker 4: Plenty more to say.
