[0:01] Poverty was created by the systems of this world.
[0:05] I agree.
[0:05] It exists in the minds of poor people.
[0:08] Having kids, raising kids, taking care of your husband
[0:12] is not a unique purpose.
[0:14] It's not.
[0:15] Everybody can do that.
[0:17] People will exchange money with you, a lot of money,
[0:20] when they know that what they are getting from you
[0:22] is more than what they are exchanging to give you.
[0:25] Do you know that you can make $10,000 without $1,000
[0:29] because you spent
[0:30] one thousand
[0:30] to learn skills
[0:31] or rather
[0:32] you will be very excited
[0:33] when somebody says
[0:34] compounding is just
[0:35] compounding
[0:35] oh those
[0:36] I just want to follow
[0:38] your social media
[0:38] because you are lying
[0:40] why are you deceiving
[0:40] the people
[0:41] how are you helping
[0:42] God with your poverty
[0:44] no way
[0:44] so if grace of grace
[0:45] can do it
[0:45] you can do it
[0:46] there was nobody
[0:47] created to be poor
[1:02] Hi everybody, welcome to another episode of the Dear Efe series.
[1:06] Here, we bring in your story, we talk about it with our guests.
[1:10] Just so you know that you're not alone.
[1:12] All of us have unique stories, but at the same time, most of your stories are also not unique.
[1:17] Somebody else has experienced it.
[1:19] So I'm happy to come today with an amazing guest.
[1:22] A woman who is virtuous, who is hardworking, who builds wealth and also builds people.
[1:29] A Christian, outspoken and also an author.
[1:33] Welcome today to the Set or Dare effect series, Madam Grace Ofere.
[1:43] Thank you so much for being with us today.
[1:46] Oh my gosh, I'm excited.
[1:48] I'm delighted.
[1:50] I'm honored to be sitting.
[1:52] such an amazing young thank you thank you thank you so much thank you for coming the moment i saw
[1:59] you on some other podcasts i said bring her i need to have a conversation with her because it was so
[2:11] different so refreshing so energetic and you believed every single thing that she said i can't
[2:18] say that about a lot of people people don't really believe the things they say they talk for content
[2:24] purposes i want to trend or this is the correct thing to say but you didn't care about being
[2:29] correct you only cared about what was right by god and that was just amazing for me to see and one of
[2:34] the things he said that i said we have to talk about it here because we've always talked about it
[2:39] in the community is first about the housewives conversation housewives who don't work have no
[2:47] vision that's what you said what does that mean okay so very simple i'm also a housewife so
[2:57] because when you when you talk about being a housewife it means that listen it means that
[3:03] there is a house and there is a place for a wife to stay there to stay there doesn't necessarily
[3:10] mean the wife will be sitting in the house 24 hours because the wife or the
[3:17] person was created for a purpose and everyone that was created by God has a
[3:25] unique purpose when God was creating all of us there is something that you can do
[3:32] that nobody can do it like you you said there's five fingers there is no way any
[3:38] fingerprints can be the same so it means that as a woman there is a unique purpose because having
[3:48] kids raising kids taking care of your husband is not a unique purpose yeah everybody can do that I
[3:57] can have kids have a husband and take care of my children every woman is expected to have kids
[4:03] unless you don't want to so you have the capacity to have god says you should go and multiply even
[4:11] if you're not supposed to multiply only by having kids you can multiply your money your influence
[4:17] your value it means that what a woman is supposed to carry a child or raise a child and that is why
[4:22] i always say you can even raise other people's children not necessarily but then that's not the
[4:27] reason why god sat down to create you so you could be a woman without marriage and children and still
[4:35] fulfill purpose that's there is a purpose so marriage and children is a byproduct you'll be
[4:42] created for a unique purpose and that is why some people have kids they have husband they still
[4:48] commit suicide they have money they have poor they still commit suicide one of the big reason is when
[4:55] there is a vacuum it's like using your phone wrongly the manufacturer of the phone gave you
[5:03] a manual and the manual shows how to use the food by the time you use the phone for something wrong
[5:10] you don't get the full value of the phone why you didn't follow the script or the manual
[5:17] so the day you were created the person that created you have a unique purpose and plan
[5:24] that's why i said you can't call marrying having kids and raising children as your purpose no
[5:33] unless there's a place in the bible you will show me today and change it by telling me god said
[5:39] marry take care of your children and that is why i created you as long as it's not consistent with
[5:45] the manual of life then that's not your books and the manual of life is the bible is the bible
[5:51] I jumped the gun because if I nobody else had watched that podcast right we would still need
[5:58] to introduce you I don't want to introduce you as the person who was on the podcast
[6:02] imagine that you were not on that podcast how would you introduce yourself
[6:06] my name is Grace Overy Bahomo popularly known as the money farmer
[6:13] so I I create worlds I teach people how to create worlds and most importantly when I people say
[6:21] money farmer it means that not necessarily having money to farm you have value that can become money
[6:29] then I teach you how to then farm the money to become value and you multiply your value for
[6:35] more money it means that I can identify the money you think you don't have from what you are and
[6:43] then teach you how to multiply that money and so you just farm it in the right places absolutely
[6:49] love it you also didn't tell us about our real estate oh you know because it's all about um
[6:58] where should i put my money so um because of creation sustainability and transfer then real
[7:04] estate is so important when it comes to wealth creation so i major on real estate investment
[7:13] locally now globally looking at the trends in terms of consistency
[7:22] sustainability then we're looking at money filtration and so now we're
[7:27] thinking of putting our money because that's part of farming where you can
[7:31] have stability where you can have stability yes we've identified some
[7:34] markets where their currency has been stable for over 35 years and we've seen
[7:40] how that when i look at my bible and i read my bible i i feel that tax is as important but then
[7:50] any economy that gives you tax freedom it means they really care about your money so that's why
[7:56] we are pushing in so much of our elites and nhi to look at the dubai which has been fantastic for
[8:03] the last three years amazing i mean we saw how you give people two was it two apartments two
[8:09] apartments yeah in Nigeria yeah the reason was because if you look at my story and see
[8:14] how far that I've come uh one thing that I really lacked was um money I was really really really
[8:21] very poor without a job so I made a commitment to myself and to God that every project that I
[8:28] successfully complete irrespective of what happens I must make sure people are not homeless so what
[8:33] that means is i must give up those apartments to people for free and i've done that for close to
[8:41] 15 years and more how deep was this poverty how when did you know that we're actually poor like
[8:47] what happened that you just knew that there are three reasons i knew i was born number one
[8:53] poverty is not how much you don't have influence that you don't have oh how do you become rich
[8:59] is how influential you become let me explain that to you uh there's something that young people say
[9:04] quick quick or urgent 2k so my my pastor taught me the day you know you are rich is when you you
[9:12] don't have money in your bank account yeah but you need a lot of money and it comes to you who
[9:19] are you going to call so if i need i did when i was doing a training with some young people
[9:25] recently i put a test to myself and i was blown away so i just said do you know that i can call
[9:32] 100 million right now and they're like from how so i called two people and the first person said
[9:38] okay send your account number the second person said okay which of the accounts did he ask me
[9:44] what for that's influence because they know they have the capacity to pay back to give it back yeah
[9:50] absolutely so that's how to know you are poor when you are looking for urgent 500
[9:57] and nobody's answering you so i didn't even know about this urgent something it was one day i was
[10:01] in my car and my daughter was teasing me he said who asked for urgent 10 million so because sometimes
[10:08] when she's with me and i need because i'm always cash broke but investment rich well so i could
[10:15] just be looking for 10 million and she'll be in the car hello please can i just get urgent 10
[10:19] million who asks for audience i do i do so that that's just about myself i'm talking about you
[10:27] no i don't know what's asking that who asked for it no she was telling me that i've never
[10:30] you should have never heard of it i just called somebody and you are saying audience 10 million
[10:35] yeah and you get the alert almost immediately yeah so when you really know you are poor it's
[10:40] when you look around you and there is nothing oh and you can't open any door even with your name
[10:50] because when i came to lagos trying to get a job at the copper one of the things they told me was
[10:56] do you know anybody who is your father or who she is even i wanted to work in the bank and the first
[11:02] thing you ask is what's your contact base nothing i was from the village and there's no contacts
[11:10] so it just shows you you know what you are poor one of the things i did was to listen to people
[11:17] that are from my kind of background and i've become rich yes then have the right mentors
[11:22] because yes i don't think if you are not from a poor background you might understand how to take
[11:29] the strategy from poverty to wealth yeah i actually believe that to be true yeah because
[11:34] of course our experiences also make us right so if you are i go to meet and this is not no shade
[11:40] it is what it is yeah i go to meet dango t who was giving i think 100 million i don't know how
[11:45] much he was given by his father yeah and of course that has multiplied it into billions
[11:49] so this is amazing yeah that is good for our kids yeah exactly listen to him because it's true
[11:55] because they grew up with parents who have money yeah but you're right people who came from the
[11:59] ground up you that's the that's the people you need to listen to if you also came from the ground
[12:04] up yeah because yeah because i because it's so important because the strategy if the person can
[12:10] show you how they got up you will learn too much from it yes so when i started no job i started to
[12:18] sell fairly used clothes and why did i sell okrica because i didn't have money to buy the new ones
[12:24] then how did i start to sell okirika because okirika also steal his capital yes i got to the
[12:29] market very early in the morning look for customers for the ebook boys and they gave me a commission
[12:35] i took the commission i bought the ones i selected and kept in the money which are very beautiful so
[12:41] with my commission i buy it i take it out of the market that's strategy guys this is what
[12:46] drop shipping is yeah you go and take somebody's already made goods and say i will sell it for you
[12:53] just give me so you didn't have anything to do with manufacturing buying you're just like a middleman
[12:57] and you made some money and so it means that a young girl a young boy that just graduated that
[13:02] doesn't have a job can do that almost immediately than waiting for the government true then so now
[13:08] how would the person scale is understanding that there are some business that cannot make you
[13:12] billionaire and even if they will make you a billionaire it has to be a lot of volume what
[13:16] kind of business is this any business that in let's do demands you're looking for a billion
[13:21] and your business is giving you naira let's say let's look at the billionaire and for the sake of
[13:28] nigerian people watching us or a million dollars yes and you're looking at your profit is five
[13:34] dollar per product no all right how many do you want to sell so now you not need another strategy
[13:44] as you are trying to scale on leaving the okirika business to the next level but you have learned
[13:49] the foundation of knowing that you could be a middleman to make money so in my mind if i'm a
[13:54] middleman to make 10 what can't i be a middleman to make 100 100 yeah yeah so but you already have
[14:03] learned that being a middleman can give you money down waiting so you will see that in the story
[14:11] or in the book yeah that a poor man that became rich roots unless the poor man is also lying
[14:18] and he can't prove it.
[14:20] And like the kids will say,
[14:21] you can't show walking.
[14:22] You can't show walking
[14:23] or you have to show walking.
[14:24] You have to show walking.
[14:24] And this is such an amazing strategy
[14:26] because what I've realized is
[14:27] the more you walk,
[14:28] the more you learn.
[14:29] So I can show.
[14:31] So I move.
[14:32] So how do you move?
[14:32] There's progression.
[14:33] So even from the Okilika,
[14:35] you now rent a shop.
[14:37] What did I do with the shop?
[14:38] I make the front of the shop
[14:39] look like a boutique
[14:40] and inside is Okilika.
[14:41] So that's another strategy.
[14:43] So the young looking nice girls
[14:44] coming from work.
[14:46] Packaging.
[14:46] It's not today packaging.
[14:47] like 19 years ago so packaging did not just start today it's just that it's louder so they come from
[14:54] the outside i make it look like a boutique so anybody can enter but they get it cheaper because
[14:58] they have to buy bend down on the inside what you have done is protect all those people coming in
[15:03] coming in so they are comfortable enough to come in not until you come in you won't know that you're
[15:08] going to bend down absolutely so that's another level then then you are still there you're still
[15:12] thinking like this can make you what so you have to start with your mind how far do you want to go
[15:18] because it's your mind that says you have to be very well did i is pushing you to take some
[15:22] decisions so i took another no this one can give me the kind of figures but i'm diligent at this
[15:29] one but in as much as i'm in the cricket shop i am thinking of where i want to be because my stats
[15:36] would never make me it's as fast i want to go so there's a picture in front of me so even when i
[15:41] had challenges there because they stole my first 25 000 and if there was this tabloid i'll be
[15:46] everywhere because i wept but in the inside the tears i remember the picture of how i wanted to
[15:55] look and i started to laugh then that takes me to the next level what then do i do to get to that
[16:01] picture it's not by giving up i tell people when i'm training people i say why you give up or
[16:06] procrastinate because you are seeing the sufferings i want to see i see the enjoyment so in respect of
[16:12] what i'm going through it's all a process to get to that picture as long as that picture is in front
[16:16] of me there's no stopping me i absolutely agree same thing with me i would tell you i'm tired i'm
[16:22] not doing it again but i love enjoyment so i'm saying like okay okay we'll go again we'll go
[16:29] again tomorrow and and the mom will do it so that's basically how it was so i was still open
[16:35] minded you know i wasn't shutting myself out of the real world i wanted and as a real estate played
[16:43] in because i was always curious for a better life so anybody that i see doing well living i'm not
[16:50] thinking it's something dubious so it has to do with a mindset thing so everybody's not a
[16:55] prostitute everybody's not a yeah everybody so just keep asking what are you doing what are you
[17:00] doing so my real estate journey started when i met a i for the end of his water charging it was a
[17:04] phone she was carrying a phone that i was like i think i was using blackberry very funny phone but
[17:11] her phone was you know like an ipad like this and i'm like what do you do i say real estate
[17:16] but then when i went to the real estate i have to also be strategic so he i have to find out what
[17:22] is really the problem of this business so the problem of the business was integrity was trust
[17:27] was education people were just investing they didn't even know the cycles of real estate so
[17:33] like now we're in a kind of cycle and some people are in that cycle and looking at it like
[17:39] is this the best time but because i understand the business i know it's a cycle then i'll go to
[17:44] another market i'll come back to this market so you have to also quickly be thinking of change
[17:50] and ready to face the change whether it is positive or negative as long as you stay
[17:57] in that change the end you will win so that's basically so looking at what i have said if i
[18:02] put it to a book anybody can come and take that book and take the steps so that was what that's
[18:08] what you mean by you must listen to somebody that was just like you i'm not saying other things
[18:14] won't work if i want to get books for my kids i won't get my own book for them because now nobody's
[18:21] going to ask who is your mother exactly i'm going to get books for them to see what people did very
[18:27] well with the leads you that your father and your mother gave to you and that's the truth absolutely
[18:32] you said three things when you knew you were poor you mentioned the first one uh when you cannot do
[18:37] urgent to kill okay what's the second and third thing the second thing was when i couldn't use any
[18:44] any name around me to open any door because the the system we lived in have that a lot unless we
[18:51] are lying to ourselves that is the truth the system we need it goes back to number one yeah
[18:56] then number three is which is important you are really hungry we are poor you're hungry so you
[19:03] get home i remember there's a drink i don't i don't want to advertise it it looks like a yogurt
[19:09] in the green it comes out with like greenish color you know what you mean when you see me taking that
[19:14] drink you know that maybe somebody dashed me money so it reminds me of poverty really so you are not
[19:20] able to live the kind of life and you have people around you that really need help you can't help
[19:25] them and that is one thing that makes me very if there's one thing i like to do is to my husband
[19:32] will say do you even work so hard for yourself or for people because everybody gets excited
[19:38] aside you get excited many things my kids are excited when they travel everywhere in the world
[19:43] i'm excited to solve your problem so it's very so that means making sure people around me are
[19:50] are excited is my excitement.
[19:51] That means I need to have
[19:52] a lot of money.
[19:53] Unless I won't be excited.
[19:55] Yeah.
[19:55] If, seriously,
[19:57] you won't believe, my excitement
[19:58] is when I give out money.
[20:00] And for me to be very excited,
[20:02] that means I have to make a lot of money to be able to give out
[20:04] a lot of money.
[20:05] So,
[20:06] that I couldn't also do.
[20:08] Because I was
[20:10] even looking for help.
[20:12] So that, when you cannot really
[20:14] do the things you want to do because you
[20:16] lack the means and the opportunity,
[20:19] you are really poor.
[20:20] because now I can want to help somebody and I don't have cash.
[20:22] And I'll call for urgent 100 million.
[20:24] Yeah.
[20:24] Yeah.
[20:25] So it means that I could be excited every day.
[20:28] Every day.
[20:29] Absolutely.
[20:30] That's just fantastic.
[20:32] And as you were talking about, you know, the woman who, you know,
[20:37] stays home, lacks vision and all of those things,
[20:41] it just occurred to me to ask you,
[20:42] then what does a virtuous woman mean truly in the time that we're in?
[20:47] Oh, my God.
[20:49] I tell you the truth
[20:50] because of the knowledge
[20:51] of the word of God
[20:51] that has become so popular
[20:53] almost every woman
[20:54] is becoming a virtuous woman
[20:55] and it's a problem
[20:56] it's a problem?
[20:57] it's a problem
[20:58] it's a problem because
[21:00] if you become a virtuous woman
[21:01] and you lack wisdom
[21:04] the opposite says
[21:06] which is the math
[21:08] you might not enjoy
[21:10] the way a virtuous woman
[21:12] enjoy by being married
[21:14] if you go to the bible
[21:15] it's real
[21:15] the husband was always being talked about because of the wife was at the gate it was at the gate
[21:22] it was it was it doesn't mean that the man wasn't doing anything so because sometimes people feel
[21:27] that for you to be a virtuous man means that your husband shouldn't do anything no he was respected
[21:34] because the woman he married carried weights yes he she had merchandise first of all to be
[21:39] you don't have one stream of income and how to represent you and the people around you
[21:47] like your maids your driver you understand what i'm saying a virtuous woman wakes up in the night
[21:53] prays for the wife not only that makes good clothing linen linen is one of the most expensive
[22:00] fabric for the maids there's no difference between i remember when i was i don't want to call you
[22:06] know because we are in public somebody that was very close to me whatever you think is closest
[22:10] is close when i come to visit them in the morning when they are going to work they have to bring out
[22:16] the milk and the meal in a cup for my breakfast and put the bread on top yeah well i don't know
[22:24] and bring out the soup in the after to do cut what i will eat because they have gone to work
[22:30] and I made a vow that I will never give my maid food by myself and so when they come to my house
[22:39] I'm amazed to say ma where is my plate I don't understand do people give plates to people to eat
[22:44] I don't understand so my maid can drink with a cup now and I'm drinking with a cup and people
[22:48] in my house say I should just use that cup I said I don't understand what is different between her
[22:51] and Pamela.
[22:53] So,
[22:54] because I saw that
[22:55] treating,
[22:56] I was not a maid
[22:58] and I knew how I felt.
[23:00] So,
[23:01] a virtuous woman
[23:02] starts from there.
[23:03] For me to know
[23:04] that you're a virtuous woman,
[23:05] I don't
[23:06] look at how much you have.
[23:07] I look at the people around you.
[23:10] So, every year,
[23:10] I try to say,
[23:11] okay, let us give out a car.
[23:12] Last year,
[23:13] it was my driver
[23:13] that took the car.
[23:15] It was my driver
[23:16] because the driver
[23:17] is so valuable to me.
[23:19] And so,
[23:20] even if I didn't put it on public.
[23:22] The most important thing is
[23:24] a virtual sumat maid
[23:26] should have maids.
[23:27] So when they leave,
[23:28] the driver should have driver.
[23:30] My mentor,
[23:30] I say his driver has drivers.
[23:33] That's when you know
[23:33] you're a seed of Abraham.
[23:35] Your driver should have driver.
[23:36] Your maids should have maids.
[23:37] When they are done with you,
[23:38] they should also have a driver
[23:38] that takes them home.
[23:40] So a virtual sumat cannot do that
[23:42] sitting down at home.
[23:43] No.
[23:44] He said,
[23:45] she has importation and exportation.
[23:48] You can read it.
[23:49] She travels,
[23:49] she has merchandise she has this she has that she wakes up early she wakes up early yeah because
[23:55] you have to wake up early wake up early to pray wake up early to make sure the house is together
[24:01] and sometimes people think if you are hard working you you cannot take care of your family
[24:08] is a lie there's a there's a time i was in london with my friend and after i did i was just doing
[24:14] something normal and she when we were done she was like i don't understand you what was it my husband
[24:21] was going home we went to dubai together so he was going home so i was calling my people at home
[24:29] what food is he eating send me the food then i was calling my driver pick him in the airport and
[24:35] normal thing to me it's normal then when i finished the conversation she said i don't understand he's
[24:41] going home the driver is at home the cook is at home you are from london with all these things
[24:46] you are doing program you have an event you are this i said how did that change the event is still
[24:53] a success that's my responsibility i was just doing my responsibility there is no way i behave
[25:00] like that that he will not be spoken of because if his friends were sitting with me they will say
[25:05] that how that you think i am everywhere i am still in charge in the food i know the food
[25:12] on the home if possible you send me the picture so and that's my responsibility
[25:20] because it's not a body so i don't even see it as a body what's a body it's something you do out
[25:26] of pressure it's heavy it's not heavy i have the support system am i the one i cook the food
[25:31] do am i the driver no but just make sure they do their job if i if you can't do that then i have
[25:37] somebody else that i'm saying this and this and this is what you should do so that means that
[25:41] somebody taking that responsibility that i will not just care about it it's not good it's not
[25:46] it's not even spiritual because that means i don't care do you understand so i'm not saying
[25:52] you must do it it's your responsibility so even if you can't do it it's just like some people that
[25:58] you are supposed to cook.
[26:00] Then you say you are busy to cook.
[26:03] You pay for the cook.
[26:05] You tell the man he has to pay for the cook
[26:06] and you are busy.
[26:08] So you are busy.
[26:09] That means you are busy
[26:10] making money.
[26:11] And then take the responsibility
[26:12] of cooking away from him.
[26:14] Away from yourself.
[26:15] And give it to
[26:16] somebody.
[26:17] And pay.
[26:18] So it's just wisdom.
[26:20] It might not be for everybody.
[26:22] But I'm saying there are wisdom to this thing.
[26:24] And the most important thing is that you're home and everybody's happy.
[26:26] yeah food is okay everybody's okay and you are able to do a lot of things so i think that those
[26:32] were the things that the virtuous woman was doing and that was why she was being talked about at the
[26:36] gate yes like one of the things i said has been talked about the husband was being talked about
[26:40] because if i am the one on social media my husband people don't even know him but i can't go to an
[26:44] event now and a celebrity wants to greet me and i'm standing with my husband you go and greet him
[26:50] first greet him very well and when i see you have greeted him very well you can't come yeah why
[26:58] because that's how people will talk about him at the gate but sometimes when you are out there
[27:05] and you don't now begin to guide your life with wisdom he now looks like you are taking the place
[27:12] of the man the man is still the man that i didn't write the bible i didn't create myself that's what
[27:18] god did he's the head and he remains the king i can hear from what you're saying that respecting
[27:26] your spouse because again when we talk i always like to speak on both sides i don't like to oh
[27:30] respecting the man because a woman who needs respect but what you're saying i can hear that
[27:35] respect is very very important for a virtuous woman to have and to the audience i speak again
[27:42] as a christian you know i always tell you when i talk my own i will say my own as a christian you
[27:45] You will not take the one that is your own if you are not a Christian.
[27:49] So she is a Christian and I'm asking this question based off of her belief.
[27:54] So you are saying that respect is very important when it comes to marriage and respecting a
[28:00] man is very important based on what you have said.
[28:02] I want to know how do you then respect a man who doesn't treat you well or who is also
[28:11] in his own way not providing in the home?
[28:14] Not providing in the home is one.
[28:18] Not treating you well is another.
[28:20] Yes, there are two things.
[28:21] Okay, so...
[28:23] Because you said build with the man.
[28:25] I think you mentioned that as well.
[28:27] And so I wanted to know, what is that balance that women should set?
[28:31] Okay, so I don't have a problem if you are marrying somebody
[28:36] that doesn't have a lot of money or that you have more money than.
[28:40] I don't have a problem with that.
[28:41] if you are able to do that it's not a problem but then a woman needs to be respected
[28:54] and i think that if a man doesn't respect a woman there are always two ways to this thing
[29:03] we can't say until we hear from the both parties yes because women are very good in talking fast
[29:11] We are very good.
[29:12] We like to talk a lot.
[29:14] So we speak our side.
[29:15] We speak our side.
[29:17] You need to understand the man's love language.
[29:21] So what do men think respect is?
[29:25] What my husband would think respect is
[29:28] might not be what your husband would think respect is.
[29:31] So there's what they call the understanding of the man that you married.
[29:34] You can't compare your man to another person
[29:37] because they both have different body language,
[29:40] love language and my husband's love language is very unique and so that means you have to
[29:46] be patient enough to be treated well to understand the person you married might not be the love
[29:51] language of another person so because once you are able to make a man feel good he will respect you
[29:58] sometimes you think you are making him feel good by providing and he doesn't care about that he
[30:03] doesn't care about that he just cares about sitting down with him and giving him affirmation
[30:08] you look so good you are my rock and my king and that even makes him wake up in the morning and
[30:15] say come i'll be going to work oh i'll give you a very early lesson i learned and this lesson
[30:23] i met somebody when i was just getting married they meet on sites because we do real estate now
[30:28] so then i started painting i didn't talk about that my story i used to paint for people's houses
[30:32] so myself and my husband we paint so in the night we go and paint people's houses when they are
[30:36] sleeping so this site they were doing very well when we get to the site immediately we'll get there
[30:41] they will start to kiss you know so because i just got married i was like one two years in marriage
[30:48] i was getting i said which kind of romantic man did i marry like this you know so they'll be
[30:53] kissing them but it's good to serve god because god saved my life so it's not like i didn't i
[31:00] wasn't confronting my husband like ah you know but i felt it so i understand your feeling i felt it
[31:05] so bad like and it was just early that's what i'm saying be careful who you are talking to we are
[31:11] making friends with that but the other things that my husband is fantastic and i'm like why can't it
[31:18] just be like this eh until one day it's been long they know that i know how to pray very well
[31:26] she the person called me say i want to see you now so i went there and he's like
[31:32] she was crying i said what happened he said i slept outside i said which outside
[31:36] he said uh that they are fighting i said because that very day that they are fighting
[31:40] that very day they slept outside they were on the side kissing so that means they they didn't see
[31:45] themselves until they got to the side she has to show me where to put this where to put that
[31:50] and immediately they got to the side they were kissing on video so i was not confused like i
[31:56] understand please break this down for me i just saw you kissing i don't understand you were just
[32:03] kissing so this you did not tell him your things are under the country is it last week or no he
[32:11] said no just yesterday i said how did he kiss kiss how did the kiss happen because even with
[32:16] your load outside he said no we are just used to it ah they are no longer married they are no longer
[32:24] they found a better partner but just imagine if i was building my life and building my marriage that
[32:32] you must kiss me is that kiss no tell me because how will i be kissing now when i look outside
[32:40] so that means the relationship didn't have true meaning yes
[32:46] no doubt is that life you want to live
[32:50] but there was respect me there was so much respect
[32:53] meanwhile lord is in the backyard i don't want that one yes so men would respect that way if a
[33:03] man is really really not respecting you and you have done everything then maybe you should find
[33:08] that there's a problem with the guy he might be from the background some people were not loved
[33:15] when they were growing up.
[33:16] So they don't even understand
[33:17] the meaning of love.
[33:18] You can't help.
[33:21] A guy that grew up in a home
[33:22] that was toxic,
[33:23] nobody has ever hugged them,
[33:25] nobody has ever kissed them,
[33:26] their parents have never said,
[33:27] I love you, I do not love you.
[33:29] Thank God, the church I go to,
[33:30] my pastor would say,
[33:31] go and tell him I love you.
[33:32] He used to teach us how to say it
[33:33] because many people don't know
[33:33] how to say I love you.
[33:35] Because they did not come from the home.
[33:36] I can't remember if my father
[33:37] told my mother I love you.
[33:38] So I really don't understand.
[33:41] Do you understand?
[33:42] So you should find out.
[33:43] Don't be too much in a hurry to get angry that the man is treating you.
[33:47] Have you gone to find that really?
[33:49] Check the foundation.
[33:50] When you check everything and everything and everything,
[33:53] and you come to a conclusion that this guy is wicked.
[33:56] Maybe he's a narcissist.
[33:57] Maybe he has medical issues.
[33:59] Try Medica.
[34:02] When you now go to Medica, it's not working.
[34:04] Then talk to your pastor to advise you.
[34:07] When you finish, talk to your parents.
[34:08] Because in this kind of podcast, I can't just tell you an advice
[34:12] because I don't know
[34:13] exactly
[34:13] what the issue is.
[34:15] I will be saying
[34:16] have baked truth.
[34:18] Yes.
[34:18] But I'm saying
[34:19] the foundational issues
[34:20] need to be
[34:22] checked and resolved.
[34:23] And be patient.
[34:25] Be patient.
[34:27] I'm telling you.
[34:28] When two people marry,
[34:29] somebody told me
[34:30] and I believe
[34:31] it's tomatoes
[34:32] and onions.
[34:34] By the time
[34:34] we put them in the blender
[34:35] there's a lot of good noise.
[34:37] Then it takes some time
[34:38] it blends.
[34:39] I won't say
[34:40] what I'm enjoying now
[34:41] It started from the first day or the second day.
[34:44] But because we are both patients,
[34:45] we are coming from both different backgrounds.
[34:48] My husband was the only child like,
[34:50] I mean, I was from, my husband was there,
[34:53] I was in a family of 10.
[34:55] We had a family of too many.
[34:57] So my husband is quiet.
[34:59] Me, I had to enforce my talk
[35:01] because I was from second to last.
[35:03] I had my voice, he was hearing me.
[35:06] So sometimes, there was something my husband said recently.
[35:08] said I thought she shouts until I discovered oh she's trying to make me hear her because of where
[35:15] she was coming from just imagine somebody could have stopped marrying me because in their mind
[35:20] you're shouting I'm shouting you're shouting at me you're shouting at me but he understood that
[35:26] this woman has a lot of value let me look and that's oh I remember where she's from
[35:31] the family was too large so you have to raise your voice for somebody to hear you
[35:35] and so so you have to i'm just saying that that means i'm going this deep for you to calm down
[35:42] and look at the situation very well that's the essence of this podcast to help you yes and it's
[35:47] when you have done everything my final conclusion you still leave the man get the right person to
[35:52] tell you that not somebody you met on social media yeah because you can't just meet me on social media
[35:57] say leave marriage yes so even even the people watching they are very excited because i don't
[36:06] just because somebody said you just pack your load out of the house it was the person there
[36:10] you made the person on social media go to the right place and get the people that you can you
[36:16] talk to consistently who have seen you who know you who know you yes i'm so sorry to interrupt
[36:21] what you're watching but many of you have not subscribed i know you want to subscribe but you
[36:25] sometimes forget or you're enjoying it too much you move on right after so take a few seconds
[36:31] click the subscribe button let's continue watching uh you talked about the the words that marriage
[36:39] carries there it's so it's it's it's too important really for us to just you know take it lightly
[36:49] and all of that so it's so important when you learn from people who have been there 20 something
[36:52] years is a long time for people to live together and say we're not leaving each other we love each
[36:56] other at what point did you decide that i instead of did you have any of that because i don't know
[37:02] instead of fighting i just peace is the only way to go okay so um like i said in the beginning you
[37:11] can be thinking of ah no i'm not gonna take this i'm gonna do this but when you start having kids
[37:17] it's a different ball game you start to really look at how can this work biblically if there's
[37:26] something that god hates is divorce i'm not saying you shouldn't divorce as well as really when there
[37:31] is abuse abuse yeah no no no you should think of what to do but i'm saying that we should be
[37:38] patient with each other knowing that so when you start having kids you know there's so much
[37:44] my husband told me something recently said the father told him that maybe like four or five
[37:50] wives that if there's one thing you would do to yourself is to have plenty wives it's not really
[37:55] fantastic because you bring in a lot of trouble that you don't even you are not ready for so
[38:01] rather look at how it can work if there are some that will never work but if it can work make it
[38:10] work so i'm not saying every marriage must work sometimes finance what is really breaking marriage
[38:17] is finance because i talk to a lot of women and it's money matter so you must discover your
[38:24] strengths everybody have their strengths as a woman i know my husband's strengths he knows my
[38:33] strengths and by the time we both put our strength on the table it brings us it brings a lot of money
[38:37] so in marriage too you must discover your strengths and so you can use your strength
[38:43] to the betterment of the family not against the family so that's also important um so we have done
[38:53] that so we have settled the fact of money we have settled the father of upbringing the kids a child
[38:59] is not well his mother when the child is doing very well because i know that then this child
[39:08] must do very well do you understand so my husband doesn't talk to the kids everything is okay
[39:18] sometimes i even think that these men of nowadays they are doing that so that they will replace us
[39:22] for a muggle seriously yeah they're trying they're trying their best yeah trying their best because
[39:27] women will just be saying yes because they know that after that they will not be good for leave
[39:31] the men to be lonely yes yes so the men are very smart we can see what they are doing ah we can see
[39:38] me i'm strategic so it's not okay it's not a problem you mentioned that children should live
[39:43] at 18 years old they should quickly leave you know when you know i always read like different meanings
[39:50] into things i don't just take everything now this is one thing because i feel like for parents who
[39:55] love each other these guys should come and be going no it's true yes because they should probably
[40:00] go in because even my daughter and i have some space in this house yes if i sit down with my
[40:03] husband yeah she would say i don't like come and go yes you are stressing then before i would not
[40:08] say before you came in i've married that come on you are the one that i came to disturb us yes
[40:14] so i for me that's one aspect that actually made me laugh like i love my husband come and go you
[40:20] spent 18 years and i've been managing this house just to behave myself be going so that they can be
[40:25] space you know so i think for me that was very endearing but on the other part people were like
[40:29] what about children you're saying that because you're privileged to put your children in homes
[40:34] like like educate them to go some children cannot some parents cannot afford that their children
[40:38] have to continue to stay when you start your life remember that you have to go so work a bit harder
[40:44] for that to happen see i'm really on sorry about that unapologetic about the fact that
[40:49] you can you you're in a society thank god i'm speaking to you from nigeria i don't live abroad
[40:55] so we are all in the same conditions to get down we have the same government issues together we
[41:02] have so why would i say this i say this for you to know that it's possible for you to live that life
[41:11] don't allow the economy or the system pull you down it's not even godly because you have been
[41:18] blessed with a lot but the problem is a fixed mindset so you are just in a place and you're
[41:23] thinking which way there is always a way i said something recently on my social media and i said
[41:30] the reason why you are like that is because you have people that are like you so you're okay you
[41:35] know sometimes when we get d in school you are feeling bad this way your friends they are
[41:39] i had f i tried i've tried so i have a plus now that's what i'm telling you i have a plus so if
[41:48] grace operate can do it you can do it there was nobody created to be poor poverty was created by
[41:54] the systems of this world it's not it's not it doesn't exist he exists in the minds of poor
[41:59] people the day you make up your mind say i refuse to be poor i'm no longer going to be poor and you
[42:06] now say i'm valuable enough to be paid that means you have to work on yourself to be valuable then
[42:13] you make up your mind to take your value from one level to the other and just start to ride
[42:18] and remember that we are talking about 18 years so if you are young 18 years is far away have a
[42:24] dream for that because what you don't see will never happen yes yes no vision because i i also
[42:30] i remember that i my husband took us abroad and he wanted me to stay over and i remember people
[42:37] gathered me his friends and said you have to stay i said why said because if you stay in school
[42:45] physics they were telling me things that were okay but i said no if that's the reason i should stay
[42:53] because the school fees will be cheaper if i stay then that's not the reason why i should stay that's
[42:58] not a good reason so the reasons they gave me was reasons that makes that made me look smaller than
[43:05] myself oh and it was tough your your dreams and visions do not align you know you say i should
[43:12] stay why you say because the school fees will be cheaper are people paying from nigeria i say yes
[43:16] and so if they can pay i will pay now yes so that's the answer the second thing i should stay
[43:21] i said okay the business i do if i create value of one billion i'll make a hundred maybe 50 100
[43:28] 10 of 1 billion 100 million 75 50 million you said i can't make that money here i said okay
[43:33] then what am i doing here exactly the place i'm coming from once i happen which will happen
[43:38] it can happen i'm so my faith is so high that it will happen one day so what am i now doing now
[43:46] you say but it has not happened but it will happen yes that's what my bible and it will happen i'm
[43:50] going back yeah i brought you here i want to go back i said let us be going back but it happened
[43:59] and guess what these same people come back to say congratulations thank you you didn't come so
[44:03] sometimes i'm not saying we shouldn't go for the right reasons please do but not to make you
[44:09] smaller than you yeah yeah not to make you smaller than you because in you is greatness so be the
[44:17] reason for all this is for to inspire you that even if you found okrika to sell be diligent you
[44:24] will stand before kings yes that's it absolutely but at that age at 18 how then do we continue to
[44:32] parent them effectively when i say you should go doesn't mean i've left your life but i think that
[44:41] every habit that a child has and is not eating would really stay so it's what you have done with
[44:48] the child before it's not every child you should allow go at 18 so they don't disgrace you but
[44:55] there are some kids that you can allow yeah to go and you've seen them you can see that they are
[44:59] capable they are capable yeah but then you still like i always say people should learn from other
[45:05] people that have done things i there are some people i've learned some things from for example
[45:10] there's one thing i i always see my kids at least three times in the year at the beginning of the
[45:17] year during summer and you must come back at the end of the year at the end of the year because
[45:24] whatever they pick up by the time they come back you might notice it so one of the major reasons
[45:31] major things i see is that you leave them even before 18 to go to school and they don't come
[45:37] for four years maybe no availability of funds yes then let them stay here we all went to school in
[45:45] that woman's we are doing well because that's also very important so i put that in them and i make
[45:51] sure when they come back we have family time together then we have church matter together
[45:56] because so yeah i'm for i'm fortunate enough to be in the ministry where they really have time for
[46:02] teens and children so i make sure they go for those events where they will be spoken to the one
[46:08] i cannot see somebody else will tell them so even when they are 18 i would my strategy is they will
[46:14] have to still come for things like that even when you are no longer home you still come for
[46:20] vacation if you're not yet married family vacation i would know you still come for christmas
[46:26] and if you cannot come we carry christmas to you because you have to be very intentional
[46:31] definitely intentional parents have to be very intentional see they finally maybe marry yeah and
[46:36] you just from my side and watch them live their life but when they are married you leave them
[46:40] alone truly truly and leave them alone but if you still have the means which that's why we are
[46:44] working and trusting god to live the kind of life he wants us to live a life of influence you can
[46:49] still influence them in such a way even when they are married you still have family time together
[46:55] even if the husband is very i used to my kids if you like mama very well do man joshua tell him
[46:59] that you will come and we'll have big family christmas together yeah you're coming home
[47:05] and i will still pay but if you want to be you can be paying but i'm still to you understand yeah so
[47:09] all those words creation sustainability and transfer is for that kind of life that kind of
[47:15] life okay this year we are going to paris okay maybe i bought a property for you or your your
[47:21] child because right now i'm doing bible bible says you have to leave the heritage with your children
[47:26] i bought property for my daughter's child he's not married though
[47:31] so that i can say come let's go to yeah yeah my grandson finally have a home and you know things
[47:37] like that yes and that's why you have to really really really listen to me work hard yes cash
[47:42] broke and investment rich absolutely so that you can delay gratification is very important i've
[47:46] done that for more than 15 years of my life you know i was still living in rent when i was already
[47:53] having beauty houses for people why because i needed to allow my phones work for you yes for me
[48:00] absolutely so i can live the kind of life i want to live so you can do that even when they are
[48:04] married that's it so the values you know even everybody will still see that we are keeping
[48:08] the values as long as we are still all healthy and alive so you don't really necessarily just
[48:13] leave them but at least for some time the freedom is important yeah absolutely how can women
[48:21] differentiate between potential like oh this one just has potential or a man with real value
[48:29] you have to have the discussion uh it's very easy to know a man that has potential value real value
[48:38] years because you will discuss you are the man now where are we heading to what are 15 years like
[48:46] how are you working towards it you know because you can say at 15 years you're going to be dizzy
[48:50] what are the things you are doing what is the blueprint it's not something you can google from
[48:58] ai so if you collect it from ai a very sensible lady will know yes because if you are giving me
[49:04] a blueprint.
[49:05] It must match up.
[49:07] It's like people
[49:08] that set goals.
[49:09] By the beginning
[49:10] of the year now,
[49:10] people are going
[49:11] to set goals.
[49:11] Many people come
[49:12] to my program
[49:13] and say,
[49:13] 21 days routine,
[49:14] you want to set goals.
[49:16] There is no goals
[49:17] that you are setting.
[49:18] You are not showing
[49:19] how you want to
[49:20] achieve those goals.
[49:23] So you have
[49:23] to be intelligent
[49:25] to really know
[49:26] a man that has value
[49:27] or to really know
[49:28] a man that has potential.
[49:29] Because the truth is,
[49:29] if you are not intelligent,
[49:30] you won't know.
[49:31] They can just
[49:32] tell you anything.
[49:33] anything but if you're so that means before you even ask that question go and get intelligent
[49:38] because if you're intelligent you will know then you also have to be spiritual everything is not
[49:41] about spirituality then don't think that i don't i'm not spiritual because i can pray for 10 hours
[49:48] no stop i do prayer do intelligence do everything to get that to get the result but then you have to
[49:56] also ask the holy spirit and the holy spirit will communicate to you in a way you would understand
[50:03] it so you might not necessarily be asking your pastor and i will tell you why i said that
[50:10] god told me something that that i i don't even know how to explain to people that i said god you
[50:15] love everybody so much but i noticed something that you you are so loving and i see some people
[50:22] that really trust you they are just behaving like kids and i see some people that trust you they are
[50:28] doing like lions why he said i so love you that if you want to be a baby i'm a baby
[50:38] explain that if you say god i want to be a baby he will come to you as a baby and treat you
[50:46] as a baby the holy spirit will speak to you like a baby so even if god has big plans for you he
[50:51] cannot come and take over your life he doesn't do that that's the only thing that god did for us
[50:57] that is also good and bad he can't take over the affairs of your life that you did not welcome him
[51:03] onto no a man is a free being he gave us that capacity and ability to take decisions and in
[51:10] this matter your decision is his final so if you say lord your decision he is god's final
[51:16] He can't come and lord over you
[51:19] No, he doesn't do that
[51:20] He created you in his own image and likeness
[51:22] Nobody lords over God
[51:23] You are God
[51:24] God plays small with you
[51:25] Plays small with you
[51:26] And he's very excited that you are small
[51:29] And he's enjoying it like that
[51:30] Only that when you get to heaven
[51:31] He asks you some questions
[51:33] I was going to say that
[51:34] No, because he was definitely going to ask you some questions
[51:36] But as long as you are here
[51:38] You are in your rights
[51:39] He gave you that right
[51:41] And that's why I'm very
[51:42] Not very excited when Christians are small
[51:45] Because there's one thing that he did for you
[51:46] the ability to be big so he could so good to me that i was like eh said yes you not say you had
[51:52] the lion ah me i'll tell you i'm lying on the child of judah then he will speak to you like a lioness
[51:59] you can't even create opportunities like like as you want it ah then i said okay lord
[52:07] there are some certain things that i need that i don't have the capacity i don't have the people
[52:12] you know when i went into real estate it's like especially there are some people that
[52:16] said they have sponsors they have this all they were saying is looking like there's somebody dead
[52:20] eyes i don't know me to see all these people then he said okay he came to me as an because i was
[52:27] playing an adult role he said i'm your backer i said what's that i went to the dictionary he knew
[52:33] that we'll go to dictionary because we have hard workings he knows i won't understand so i went to
[52:37] join and baka said all the synonyms everything that you will find in an investor angel investor
[52:45] promoter this that's what a backer is and the dictionary gave me a figure that i must get to
[52:51] that means if i go on that project of that billion dollars i'm going to back you up
[52:56] that means you're ready to be a lion you start the project and i will back you up so many people are
[53:00] not able to do what they are supposed to do now because they're afraid to start it so me i go like
[53:03] a lion i'm going i know i have a backer not backing a backer b-a-c-k-e-r he was able to
[53:12] communicate to me at that level and understood that i would believe it and i went out with that
[53:18] word i didn't go out with money i went out to say you know what i have a backup
[53:23] if i can go out he will follow me but if you want to be sleeping he's very excited though
[53:33] that's crazy give me a moment
[53:35] he seems like he's trying to digest it oh no no give me a moment because that's
[53:42] never i understand it it's just very new i don't know how to explain it yes you know you know
[53:46] something but it just now settles yes so if you say i want to be this it's okay if you say i'm
[53:54] very comfortable with this it's okay he's a lovely do you know what is love you get it do you know
[53:59] what is love when a man truly loves you you say you don't want to wake up he will be petty you
[54:04] please don't wake up yeah sleep he'll show you that's your comfort you want to be comforted
[54:13] on the bed he will just allow you to sleep very well he will increase the ac
[54:19] because he loves you so much and he wants to give you everything that makes you excited so
[54:25] he loves you so much and he's very excited for you to be poor and he doesn't have a problem with it
[54:31] because there are some of us that we he knows that we don't want that one so it's okay so when you
[54:38] now see that people that's why i don't really push people because i should have the mind of christ
[54:44] but it's not going to stop me from telling you the truth but once you say that's what you want
[54:48] ah it's all right though everybody must not be rich it's okay yes but i don't think that god
[54:54] is excited about because when you are poor number one your wisdom is no head
[55:02] number two you can't make so much impact to change this world true number three i read it in the
[55:08] bible the man was so wise but poverty you don't make anybody hear him number four we're in the
[55:14] era of social media where if you have an agenda if you have money you'll be head yes we can control
[55:21] the narrative number five if people don't want to say what i'm don't want to push out what i'm
[55:26] saying i'll pay them to push it out as long as it makes sense when i pay push out all people
[55:31] were here yes so you're looking at all that why should you be poor how are you helping god with
[55:37] your poverty no way get it we're going to talk about three types of women now okay we're going
[55:44] talk about the women who are living in poverty, the women who are middle class, they can see
[55:52] what their future will look like.
[55:53] They can see that they are progressing towards that.
[55:56] And women who are already doing well for themselves.
[55:59] These three women, how do you teach them how
[56:01] to invest in real estate?
[56:07] i recently started talking to the women in the lower class to say your first plan
[56:14] should not be investing as i grow i learn more your first plan is invest in yourself
[56:23] you know in the era of social media likes love like i like what you told me at the beginning
[56:29] said the kind of content you create you are not after like share no you're after real value value
[56:37] so i started to look at so many people are shouting uh invest 5 000 you get stock this that
[56:43] that and recently ghost says to speak to me that they might not give you a lot of likes or but say
[56:49] it's the truth invest that money for your life because let me explain if i give you a thousand
[56:56] naira that's all i have saved one thousand dollars and you invest it in any type of real estate
[57:02] read or anything the best you can get compounding interest please if how would that money become
[57:09] make you rich no if you invest that business in a skill even sell gang
[57:17] i get an affiliate link i learned affiliate marketing and say gang do you know that you
[57:22] can make ten thousand dollars without one thousand because you spent one thousand to learn skills
[57:28] but rather you will be very excited when somebody says compounding is just company oh those students
[57:34] just unfollow your social media because you are lying why are you deceiving these people
[57:39] how many one thousand nina will make you become a millionaire as a woman invest that money in a trade
[57:48] stop trying to be graceful this growth is two decades in the making i've been in this matter so
[57:56] invest what we what we want so if i learn multilevel if i learn how to do affiliate
[58:01] marketing now with 1000 i guarantee you by the end of this year i'll make a hundred thousand
[58:05] because i will so master and i will use it for everybody's product what me i will exactly i'll
[58:10] go for product very expensive i don't have time to be doing so that if i just hit that's what i
[58:14] to buy don't eat one one quickly to buy yes even if you are giving me two percent it's okay yes yes
[58:22] no you're not ready to do that come on just put in one thousand company interest not this podcast
[58:27] it's a lie it won't work so that's what i would tell those people the first level go and invest
[58:34] in yourself become so valuable that you can command what is value people will exchange money
[58:40] with you when they know what you are giving to them is more than what you are collecting
[58:43] say it again people will exchange money with you a lot of money when they know that what they are
[58:49] getting from you is more than what they are exchanging to give you yes the only reason why
[58:53] you will give me money is because you know what you will get is money it's more the only reason
[58:56] why you pay me for mentorship is because i don't owe you once you pay if i don't give you money
[59:01] more than what you have given me i will give you back your money that's a law because i know that
[59:06] i have the capacity to change your life in mentorship yes so at that level you need to
[59:11] invest in yourself don't even invest in anything invest in you to be more valuable to command more
[59:19] economic value yes first level second level then in that same level invest in leverage
[59:28] we're still at level one yes invest in leverage so you must invest in something that you will
[59:33] leverage with another person that is bigger than you don't try to start to build a brand example
[59:39] so why would i go and start a a a a a skin care where nobody knows me my followers is 10.
[59:48] woman just bring your skin care how much are you going to give me i was talking to somebody
[59:53] recently and she she has a black card or something and i'm like why should i go i'm starting my own
[59:58] something something card but i'll confess how much this card you know if i go and start it's 100
[1:00:04] yeah i already give me 90 let me give you my people because you've already created the card
[1:00:08] true so what are you supposed to do learn leverage don't tell you and that's why a lot of people run
[1:00:13] away from jobs i wrote a book on nine to five if they read it they will not leave the algar
[1:00:17] because there's no need you want to compete with somebody that is no just stay under and use the
[1:00:24] person's brand and come up with an agreement if you can and grow the second people they know
[1:00:33] how far how long they need what i call mentorship see let me tell you something
[1:00:37] There's people that do my business now
[1:00:38] That sometimes they are making
[1:00:39] Blunders
[1:00:42] Because I've been in this thing for two decades
[1:00:44] So I've seen everything about it
[1:00:47] The best thing to do
[1:00:48] Is just plug into that person
[1:00:51] Maybe in mentorship
[1:00:51] Who is already doing well
[1:00:53] And reduce your time of wasting time
[1:00:57] Gain my 25 years experience
[1:00:59] Even in investments
[1:01:02] Do you know there are some people that
[1:01:03] Are at that level now
[1:01:05] that don't know the right investments that is why i'm asking for them because at that level
[1:01:10] how do they don't know they don't know so how do they let me give you an example people don't know
[1:01:15] you need to look for somebody listen that is not just a a marketer he's an investor
[1:01:22] in the business of investments should i say it again real estate real estate some real estate
[1:01:28] people are growing which they will grow and get there yes i will not talk to a real estate person
[1:01:33] that is not an investor in any country i'm going to tell you the truth because they don't even know
[1:01:39] when i went to dubai the first thing i did was to invest because a lot of people had very funny
[1:01:45] stories about dubai so i said okay let me go and put my money first when i know the story when i
[1:01:49] put my money i understood what the problem is many of them were buying timeshare they were not buying
[1:01:55] houses what is timeshare um hotel apartments and so they promise you that they will give you renter
[1:02:02] and they would also tell you that there was no customer there's no customer so if i don't so
[1:02:06] so they don't they did not have information and so they buy that kind of a thing and that's half
[1:02:11] information and you now say the place the place is fantastic there's no way in this world i just
[1:02:16] came back from harvard to learn global investment in real estate i have that with their case study
[1:02:21] she said dubai is the best as of today so what that means is that a lot of people talk to people
[1:02:28] that don't even that have never invested have a lot of social media following they're talking to
[1:02:33] agents and the agents they just want to call it just bring bring them on even the agent might not
[1:02:38] also it's not also the agents for because the agent doesn't even understand has never read the
[1:02:42] contract does he know that the contract can be terminated so what did i do the spirit god told
[1:02:48] me you have to go to that market but when you get there you put your money first so that you will
[1:02:51] understand all the trick of the country so then you can advise people better so what that second
[1:02:59] class people need what they need education on where to invest how to invest and how to leverage
[1:03:08] on countries and the people who have already invested invested and they should start so i
[1:03:14] tell a lot of people if you cannot do dubai start from where you are you must start just make up
[1:03:20] your mind that every money that comes to you part of it must be invested give yourself a 10 years
[1:03:26] for delay gratification if you see people on business class don't begin to think about it
[1:03:31] if your investment is not paying there is nothing i spend my money on that investment did not pay
[1:03:38] if my investment cannot pay i create an offer that's another bargain so if i'm going to spend
[1:03:43] money on some things now like it really this is i've created a business to fund it it's not my
[1:03:48] capital that will fund that lifestyle
[1:03:54] that's it then finally the final layer they're already there
[1:03:59] legacy is what they should begin to look at to keep
[1:04:02] that legacy you need to invest in people you need to invest in people and don't
[1:04:08] wait to get to yeah before you start investing in
[1:04:12] people then you need to think of transaction
[1:04:18] your kids are very key and that is why i also say to people that do real estate business investment
[1:04:25] experts that remember that one customer is a nation i recently have two customers of debt
[1:04:33] rates that brought their kids for mentorship because of the relationship we have had and they
[1:04:40] understood that it is not all parents that can talk to children a mentor would do better so that
[1:04:46] at that level you need to not begin to think of how can this money help many people
[1:04:53] because you have been positioned in that level to help a lot of people yes so being open-minded
[1:05:01] to find out how you can use it to help a lot of people will make you richer yeah but they want
[1:05:06] to invest in real estate these people you don't you don't think they should okay so that's for
[1:05:11] general but if you want to invest in real estate then you have to begin to look at markets that
[1:05:17] will keep your money to be really sustainable in future and that is why i was pushed out
[1:05:28] part of me went to dubai because when i go to dubai don't their their money was 208 dirham
[1:05:38] today is 482 naira just imagine so denier is there just keep that's not all for 35 years
[1:05:49] their money has been steady steady value the value of the value they have done so much to
[1:05:56] keep the currency like that then their growth projection is mind-blowing why is dubai good
[1:06:02] dubai is using your money to develop their country the truth is profit gravitate towards solution
[1:06:09] so why is to buy saying come come don't pay tax because they have a desert and the only thing they
[1:06:14] need to do is to give to you what other people will not give you so you bring your money to
[1:06:17] develop their desert that means your money is needed and need and once money meets a need
[1:06:22] profit comes yes so don't be sentimental i don't think you are if you're at that level you're not
[1:06:28] sentimental but just look at the entire globe and see where the monica then be excited about real
[1:06:35] estate because real estate does not depreciate in some very good location it doesn't just disappear
[1:06:45] like some other things you just wake up in the morning somebody's angry because somebody's angry
[1:06:51] so i just woke up the girlfriend you know he's kissing very well just speak
[1:06:55] you come to see that say something something everything and you don't want to you don't want
[1:07:00] to put your life on on that on that yeah so you want something that is sustainable for the future
[1:07:09] so the bible says it all a good man lives inheritance for the children opposite of good
[1:07:16] is bad a bad man lives debts or lives nothing so that means as a good man you must farm in the
[1:07:25] right locations don't be sentimental just go to where your money is needed the most and once you
[1:07:31] are solving a problem a real estate problem a real genuine real estate problem you would definitely
[1:07:39] make a lot of money and think of tax holistically if there is a place that is tax free now
[1:07:47] take the leverage and later if they change their mind we know what to do we move to another place
[1:07:53] another desert is coming so what that means is don't get information from people that don't
[1:08:00] really understand the market go and find out who is the market ask the right question let the person
[1:08:08] tell you how this thing can work and don't listen and show figures i'll just say yes
[1:08:15] i hide in figures no show figures no no if you're hiding because that means you don't know anything
[1:08:19] don't know anything no ask questions yeah i show figures yes i show figures show documents yeah
[1:08:28] write the red lines or the ones that you wouldn't be scared of i want you to read that one first so
[1:08:32] you can understand what you are putting your hand and paper into because they said if you want to
[1:08:36] hide something from africa right hide in a book and some of those agreements are so bulky don't
[1:08:42] worry i read it and read the red lines so you can see it it's something just to keep them okay and
[1:08:48] keep you okay so if you follow what they want you to do you will be excited you can't open a desert
[1:08:54] to become a city and you'll be broke it's just logical it's a business strategy i have a desert
[1:09:00] you have money secrecy another thing i like about dubai is your income is not told anybody
[1:09:10] so that's why you see a lot of people there go there because whatever you have there is
[1:09:15] It's left there.
[1:09:16] It's left there.
[1:09:17] Do you like my skin?
[1:09:18] Do you like my skin?

[1:09:34] We're now going to go into our story that we're going to read,
[1:09:38] but before then, we always take a pledge.
[1:09:40] Okay.
[1:09:40] Are you ready?
[1:09:41] Yes.
[1:09:42] I.
[1:09:43] I.
[1:09:43] Ife Dayo.
[1:09:44] Grace offering.
[1:09:45] Promise.
[1:09:46] Promise.
[1:09:46] To be honest.
[1:09:47] To be honest.
[1:09:48] To be kind.
[1:09:49] To be kind.
[1:09:49] And to not ask Ife who wrote in the story.
[1:09:52] And to not ask Ife who wrote in the story.
[1:09:54] Thank you.
[1:09:56] Alrighty.
[1:09:57] Dear Ife, I'm a single mother of three boys with little or no support from my family or their father.
[1:10:04] There's this guy I'm dating.
[1:10:05] I've been dating him for about four years now.
[1:10:08] I'm confused because I'm hardworking and in all honesty, this man supports me.
[1:10:13] but the support is not enough.
[1:10:15] It does not help me pay rent or school fees.
[1:10:19] Here and there,
[1:10:20] it gives me some money.
[1:10:21] Life is hard for me and I need more, but I can't let him go because he
[1:10:25] helps me with those little things, but I'm stuck and I need better.
[1:10:29] I struggle hard to pay my bills.
[1:10:32] Today, it eats me when I asked him, can't you help me set up a small thing to support my business?
[1:10:37] He said no so boldly and I went on to say, do you like the fact that I call you here and there for
[1:10:42] small small money he kept quiet and said he cannot support me because he doesn't even have the money
[1:10:47] my heart broke and reality hits me that i'm just going to struggle for the rest of my life if i
[1:10:54] continue to be with him i'm also really scared of leaving because he comes through with those
[1:11:00] daily necessities for me and the kids what should i do i am drowning thank you so much such a
[1:11:09] touching story i really feel for you but i just want to use opportunity to say a very big thank
[1:11:15] you to the guy yeah because he's doing his best as you can see so if what you need is not that kind
[1:11:30] of person please do him some good by telling him you want to walk away because keeping him there
[1:11:39] hanging there loving you this much giving you all that he really has to give you for me it won't be
[1:11:46] nice for you to just keep being there because as i listen to this story means that if somebody comes
[1:11:54] up that is better than him she'll she'll definitely yeah so it's better you do it now that the person
[1:11:59] has not come so it doesn't become something that will hurt you later because you also feel bad like
[1:12:04] I just dumped him because somebody else came.
[1:12:08] But if he has good character and is doing that much,
[1:12:12] you should do more also to help.
[1:12:15] There is no place in the word that it was written expressly
[1:12:21] that the man must take care of you and your children.
[1:12:26] No.
[1:12:27] People always quote that part of the Bible.
[1:12:29] No, that's not what they say.
[1:12:29] A man who cannot provide is worse than an infant.
[1:12:33] No, he's providing.
[1:12:33] said he's not providing the kind that she wants so providing is according to availability so the man
[1:12:42] is fulfilling scripture by providing based on what he has so if you want more you will have to
[1:12:51] stand up and do more i am grateful that i have a husband that provides but i tell you the truth
[1:13:01] I don't think that a woman cannot provide for herself and her child,
[1:13:07] even without a husband.
[1:13:09] Because provision is income.
[1:13:11] Provision is that you have.
[1:13:13] Go and have.
[1:13:15] Learn a skill.
[1:13:20] Why will I say that?
[1:13:21] And I'm going to end with this.
[1:13:23] And that is why sometimes I'm very blunt in saying the truth.
[1:13:27] people might not like that because they want to be uh coddled a young lady came to my mentorship
[1:13:35] yesterday she made me cry she was teaching in schools and the school was paying her 50
[1:13:44] let's say per school and the school so she had five schools so what that means is that she was
[1:13:51] getting 25 250 a month which was okay then she came to my class when i said you must understand
[1:14:00] that your value is your wealth so if you are valuable enough ask for more then i did i just
[1:14:07] said it because i know that's the way i operate and somebody takes that as a law goes back to
[1:14:13] the school and say each of these students are paying maybe 50 50 for this particular kind of
[1:14:19] a ticket because it's not the school fees can i have 50 for each children so if you are collecting
[1:14:26] 200 give me 50. she said she was bold enough to say because i also said if you tell 10 people
[1:14:32] one person will agree and so she went to all the schools three rejected her two called her back
[1:14:38] she went to more than schools three quarter back he became five schools she charged each 50 each
[1:14:45] class was 50 50 times 50 times five so from 250 a month she's earning 12 000 a month who does that
[1:14:59] a woman that earns 12 000 a month what does it mean your journey to wealth has begun has begun
[1:15:08] so what is she supposed to do when she finished the next the next class i gave an assignment
[1:15:13] if you got five schools you can get 50 schools please calculate that 12 000 times another 50
[1:15:18] schools 50 schools now i gave her the assignment until life is i'm not sure i'm not gonna be a
[1:15:23] teacher no you can be a teacher it's the same thing it's the same principles that apply in
[1:15:29] everywhere so you have to understand your value position your value well get the right help and
[1:15:35] push your value what did she do she was still doing the same thing she just increased she not
[1:15:42] said ma i'm not employed three more people she has become an employer of labor please wait for the
[1:15:47] game you said i pledge i said the pledge is to wait for him very much be waiting you should help
[1:15:55] him nothing's wrong in that he helping a man even the bible says you should help like a supporter
[1:16:03] so you do this and help him then when he sees what you have done he will not learn from what
[1:16:08] you have done and he will not do his own it will not be 150 plus 150 you guys have started to live
[1:16:14] a life unless you are just waiting around we're employed yeah so this is practical this session
[1:16:26] was yesterday so i met some of my meeting and i was so excited but there was somebody else there
[1:16:34] too that was saying he needs 700 000 so you can see people are different so what am i saying get
[1:16:39] the right people to tell you the right thing to do because in you is one million dollars in 30 days
[1:16:44] yeah you can make it so now you get it because now she has seen the so she has the formula it's
[1:16:49] a formula it's a formula so now she has this mark going i said when you get 500 schools 50 schools
[1:16:54] we agree yes it's a 10 percent law yeah i teach it if the schools we agree this would be this
[1:17:01] would be the shortest response because i personally are you sure that's what you wanted to
[1:17:06] see i'm very angry with the message no i am very angry i'm very angry with the message because
[1:17:15] what what this is what he can afford what can you go and do something what because if we're
[1:17:22] thinking about it i've even said i appreciate do you understand even the message is very annoying
[1:17:28] they say i should not judge don't worry the time you used to write this message if you used to
[1:17:32] read one of my books um because there's one of them one of my mentee that said the husband not
[1:17:38] thinks she's a yahoo yahoo that's what's it for one night say because she's always on the system
[1:17:43] always working that means she was docile before before so anything can trigger that wealth formula
[1:17:53] listen to the right people don't listen to people that make you agree with you
[1:17:59] yeah anything that you listen to that is making you angry those are the people you should listen
[1:18:02] yeah be very upset anybody that's somebody like me one of them said in that same class
[1:18:10] that the first time I listened to you,
[1:18:11] I was very angry with you.
[1:18:13] Then I listened to you again,
[1:18:14] I became so angry.
[1:18:16] Then I finally paid for the mentorship
[1:18:19] and my life has changed.
[1:18:21] And I said, that is why
[1:18:22] everybody you are not angry with
[1:18:24] that you are following on social media,
[1:18:25] delete them.
[1:18:27] Because it's not going to move you forward.
[1:18:30] So, but once somebody says something
[1:18:31] that doesn't agree with you,
[1:18:33] because the mind doesn't want you to change.
[1:18:36] Just listen to the person.
[1:18:38] Change is very hard.
[1:18:39] will see the beauty in that person change is absolutely very hard again like i said this
[1:18:42] be shortest answer ever that we need there's really nothing to say to this person except
[1:18:47] leave this guy alone and i worry that if you are insistent on staying this way i want a man to help
[1:18:53] me you will find another man who is going to help you and you leave this guy and that that's not
[1:18:58] fair that's not so please leave him now favor leave him now and look for the money and either
[1:19:03] you know let's you know talk about how to you know create wealth asap and do it you know stage by
[1:19:09] stage or just let the guy for for saying this in this show i'm not saying she can change you or she
