[1:21] SPEAKER_08: Wait, your mic, not speaking into the mic, brother.

[1:34] SPEAKER_08: We decided to come home.
[1:35] SPEAKER_08: Right?
[1:35] SPEAKER_08: Because I I I felt like people didn't think that we even had a home.
[1:38] SPEAKER_08: Why?
[1:39] SPEAKER_08: Because we was outside all summer.
[1:40] SPEAKER_08: Right, we were outside all summer.
[1:41] SPEAKER_08: They they thought they forgot they probably thought we got kicked out.
[1:44] SPEAKER_08: I had fun this summer.
[1:44] SPEAKER_08: I had a lot of fun.
[1:45] SPEAKER_08: I like doing all those uh activities.
[1:48] SPEAKER_08: We still gonna have more activities going on, but let's get back to Swervo.
[1:51] SPEAKER_08: Nah, definitely.
[1:52] SPEAKER_08: Swervo changes, put on Swervo East.
[1:56] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah.
[1:57] SPEAKER_08: You're not a guest, you actually a host.
[1:59] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, you're a host.
[1:59] SPEAKER_08: You part of Let's Rapid Body.
[2:02] SPEAKER_08: Don't get it twisted.
[2:02] SPEAKER_08: This is oh this guy.
[2:04] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, this is a this is a co-host right here.
[2:06] SPEAKER_08: This is not a guest, so don't hit my phone.
[2:08] SPEAKER_08: Like, yo, yo, let's Swervo get on.
[2:09] SPEAKER_08: Let me nah, don't.
[2:11] SPEAKER_08: You heard?
[2:12] SPEAKER_08: Because that's the next thing.
[2:13] SPEAKER_02: Yo, Swervo was over.
[2:14] SPEAKER_02: Y'all got this home team right here.
[2:16] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, man.
[2:16] SPEAKER_02: You know how this shit goes.
[2:17] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[2:18] SPEAKER_06: So, Herb, how you feel about like um celebrating your successes?
[2:23] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[2:23] SPEAKER_06: This week we just had our one year anniversary.
[2:25] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
[2:26] SPEAKER_06: So, you know, we was good, we we still was pushing through and coming back here and recording, but we wanted to like kind of like celebrate it as an accomplishment too.
[2:34] SPEAKER_06: Cause I like sometimes you just be working and you don't really get to celebrate your accomplishments.
[2:40] SPEAKER_07: Nah, I feel it.
[2:40] SPEAKER_07: I I went through that for a long time, bro.
[2:43] SPEAKER_07: Like, I was so caught up in just being like goal-oriented and where I come from, just being like strong-willed, and it's like, though, I know the work that I put in, where it's like I work so hard, so when you get to a certain goal or a certain milestone, you just be like, all right, I deserve that.
[3:01] SPEAKER_07: I know what it took to get there, and then it's like you don't really sit to actually enjoy and soak in the moment and like reap the, you know what I'm saying, real fruits of your labor.
[3:09] SPEAKER_07: So, I started to do that.
[3:10] SPEAKER_07: It's very important because I felt like I didn't really get to enjoy what I did and what I worked so hard for for so many years, because I just wanted to just keep working, working, working.
[3:19] SPEAKER_07: Like, all right, but I did this, on to the next, on to the next.
[3:22] SPEAKER_07: I heard that it kind of felt like a sickness to me in a little while.
[3:26] SPEAKER_07: Like somebody really had to sit me down and be like, bro, you gotta go travel the world more, go see this, go do that, you know what I'm saying?
[3:32] SPEAKER_07: So I definitely believe it's important to actually sit back and give yourself grace and celebrate, you know what I'm saying, when you actually get a win.
[3:39] SPEAKER_07: Because we do have a lot of wins coming from where we come from.
[3:42] SPEAKER_07: Everything is a is a win for real.
[3:44] SPEAKER_07: That's right.
[3:44] SPEAKER_07: Not having to go back to, you know what I'm saying?
[3:46] SPEAKER_06: So, how y'all felt about the one-year anniversary?
[3:49] SPEAKER_08: I felt great, man.
[3:50] SPEAKER_08: I felt great.
[3:51] SPEAKER_08: I felt really great, man.
[3:52] SPEAKER_08: I told you I got a moment for you.
[3:54] SPEAKER_08: I was woped, bro.
[3:55] SPEAKER_08: I told you I ran out the club, bro.
[3:57] SPEAKER_08: Like, oh, I rolled out that bitch full speed, bro.
[4:00] SPEAKER_08: I almost when you get that one feeling like, oh nah, it's about to go bad in here.
[4:06] SPEAKER_08: Oh, because you was drinking.
[4:08] SPEAKER_08: He was drinking.
[4:08] SPEAKER_08: Old.
[4:09] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, he not a he Yeah, he not a he don't drink well.
[4:12] SPEAKER_08: What?
[4:13] SPEAKER_08: He don't drink well.
[4:13] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, he don't he don't drink well, you're whoa.
[4:16] SPEAKER_08: He doesn't whatever.
[4:17] SPEAKER_08: You had a birthday, right?
[4:18] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, that's why I couldn't make it.
[4:20] SPEAKER_08: Happy birthday.
[4:21] SPEAKER_08: It was the same night as my shit.
[4:22] SPEAKER_08: I would have gone to the city.
[4:22] SPEAKER_08: Oh, yeah, man.
[4:23] SPEAKER_08: Happy belated.
[4:24] SPEAKER_08: Happy belated birthday, man.
[4:26] SPEAKER_08: But have you started doing that though?
[4:28] SPEAKER_08: Like relishing in some of your moments?
[4:31] SPEAKER_07: Definitely, definitely.
[4:32] SPEAKER_07: Did you used to celebrate birthdays coming up?
[4:34] SPEAKER_07: Not really.
[4:34] SPEAKER_07: Hell no, I never celebrate.
[4:36] SPEAKER_07: You know, my first like real big birthday was my 25th birthday party.
[4:39] SPEAKER_07: And Tyana had through it for me for real.
[4:41] SPEAKER_07: This is crazy.
[4:41] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, okay.
[4:42] SPEAKER_07: I never, I never had birthday parties growing up like at all.
[4:45] SPEAKER_07: My mom used to give me this cake, like this little$10 cake from jewels, wishing nigga happy birthday.
[4:51] SPEAKER_07: I'm outside hanging.
[4:52] SPEAKER_07: For real, right.
[4:53] SPEAKER_06: That might be like a major thing though, like from where we come up.
[4:56] SPEAKER_06: Because we so used to like hustling and trying to get to the next level that we don't celebrate the wins sometimes or the W's.
[5:03] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[5:06] SPEAKER_07: When I thought about it, I I felt bad about it.
[5:08] SPEAKER_07: Cause it's like, in a way, it was me trying to be humble as well, too.
[5:13] SPEAKER_07: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[5:14] SPEAKER_07: Like, all right, bad, let me just try to, but you gotta really like sit back.
[5:18] SPEAKER_07: Like when people used to bring me like my plaques and shit, I'd be like, all right, cool.
[5:21] SPEAKER_07: But it's like, I'm gonna go to the back.
[5:23] SPEAKER_07: So I should be able to enjoy it.
[5:24] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
[5:25] SPEAKER_08: I don't got one plaque.
[5:26] SPEAKER_08: I was telling y'all, all right, I ain't got I don't have one plaque.
[5:29] SPEAKER_08: But you may never order none of your plaques.
[5:31] SPEAKER_08: And like they people be from the label, I don't I know I don't have a plaque.
[5:35] SPEAKER_08: I got one plaque, like the balling plaque from back in the days, but I don't have nobody.
[5:39] SPEAKER_08: You know what it means?
[5:40] SPEAKER_08: We we commit it to the grind.
[5:41] SPEAKER_08: You got two plaques, you got two places.
[5:43] SPEAKER_08: There's plaques right there.
[5:44] SPEAKER_08: That's that's the second plaque.
[5:46] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[5:47] SPEAKER_08: So you got two plaques.
[5:50] SPEAKER_08: That's that's come, that's that's from being that's from being committed to the grind.
[5:56] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[5:56] SPEAKER_08: Overly committed.
[5:58] SPEAKER_08: Like you just submitted to your work.
[6:01] SPEAKER_08: Well, most of us are like that.
[6:02] SPEAKER_08: That's what that's in this industry.
[6:04] SPEAKER_08: This is why you don't really relish in your glory and you don't really take the time to say, damn, I did.
[6:09] SPEAKER_08: Because I feel what he's saying, because a lot of times it's like you might feel like people think you're showing off when you want to relish in your glory or celebrate yourself or and sometimes niggas be over-celebrated.
[6:21] SPEAKER_06: Sometimes niggas is just partying, like, nigga, get to work.
[6:24] SPEAKER_06: No, for sure.
[6:25] SPEAKER_07: You know, celebrating with nothing to celebrate for is crazy.
[6:28] SPEAKER_07: I work a lot though.
[6:29] SPEAKER_07: Like, I really do.
[6:30] SPEAKER_07: Like, I'm a real work workaholic, so it's like I be needing to sit back and take time to just enjoy my life.
[6:37] SPEAKER_07: So I could it motivate me to want to, you know what I'm saying, get back on my grind and shit too.
[6:42] SPEAKER_07: But I think it got a lot to do with just like being a provider for so long.
[6:47] SPEAKER_07: Like early on, I was taking care of my mom, was paying her bills and shit like that.
[6:50] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I never really like, I'm just working, I bet I do this, make some money, make sure everybody's straight.
[6:56] SPEAKER_07: I'm back in the studio, back on tour, back, you know what I'm saying?
[6:59] SPEAKER_07: Just it was a repeated cycle for years where I never, like for years, I didn't go take a vacation, I didn't celebrate my birthdays.
[7:07] SPEAKER_07: Like, I really just started celebrating my birthday.
[7:09] SPEAKER_07: Like when I turned 25, I'm 31.
[7:12] SPEAKER_08: You gotta celebrate it.
[7:13] SPEAKER_08: Every chance you get, take that moment to celebrate it.
[7:16] SPEAKER_08: Because, first of all, none of it is guaranteed.
[7:19] SPEAKER_08: I was just about to say that.
[7:20] SPEAKER_08: None of this is guaranteed.
[7:21] SPEAKER_08: And so every day, like make these moments, memories that you really proud of.
[7:26] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[7:27] SPEAKER_06: I also like really, really strong on like celebrating life, like even with your partners and your, you know what I'm saying, your friends and family.
[7:36] SPEAKER_06: Like each one of y'all, like, I've been at y'all actual birthday parties or celebrations or dinners or something.
[7:42] SPEAKER_06: Because I feel like even now we in our in our world moving around, we all somewhere, but like on the day that you your your your lap around the sun come around, I want to be there to celebrate your life with you.
[7:54] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[7:54] SPEAKER_07: In a way though, that shit make me feel accomplished too, though.
[7:56] SPEAKER_07: Like when you be in a room where like especially people that you really fuck with on a serious level, when all y'all reached a certain level of success, you can look around and be like, damn, we really did some shit.
[8:08] SPEAKER_07: That's you know what I'm saying, like special.
[8:10] SPEAKER_07: And you know what I'm saying?
[8:11] SPEAKER_07: You don't see that a lot.
[8:12] SPEAKER_07: You don't really see people who actually got love for each other that then made this a large amount of success for themselves, actually like enjoying life, and you know what I'm saying, being happy and smiling all in one room.
[8:26] SPEAKER_07: Like for me, when I see that shit, and of course we done all been in them all settings together, like that shit make me feel like I really made it for real.
[8:33] SPEAKER_08: 100%.
[8:34] SPEAKER_08: One time you said something that made me think about the time, I never told you this.
[8:38] SPEAKER_08: It was one of my birthdays, and we was together, and we was we had a I had like a sprinter, and we were standing in front of Chelsea, and it was a bunch of us out there, and I was high of mushrooms, and I said to myself, I ain't got all the money I got.
[8:53] SPEAKER_08: I want.
[8:55] SPEAKER_08: I ain't where I want to be yet.
[8:59] SPEAKER_08: But I'm I'm rich in in energy, I'm rich in friendship, I'm rich in in fucking community.
[9:08] SPEAKER_08: You understand?
[9:09] SPEAKER_08: I'm rich in relationships.
[9:11] SPEAKER_08: This is what I was saying to myself, so I get it.
[9:13] SPEAKER_08: So that meant more to me than than anything, just the fact that everybody was there and we went to a j we went to a spot and we celebrated and we had a time and it was good.
[9:23] SPEAKER_06: I feel like you gotta be rich in other shit before you can be rich in pocket.
[9:27] SPEAKER_06: Like, I feel like you gotta be rich in confidence, rich in other people.
[9:30] SPEAKER_06: Rich in believing.
[9:31] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[9:32] SPEAKER_06: Like, you gotta really, you gotta really be rich in other shit before you even get to the bag.
[9:37] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[9:38] SPEAKER_06: You ever seen like somebody who ain't even got the money?
[9:40] SPEAKER_06: Like, even if you go to the hood and see somebody, they be like super cocky or popping it.
[9:44] SPEAKER_06: And they don't even got it yet.
[9:46] SPEAKER_06: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[9:46] SPEAKER_06: And I'm like, I'll be looking at that like special.

[11:16] SPEAKER_06: I live that way, bro.
[11:17] SPEAKER_08: Like I lived that I lived that way.
[11:19] SPEAKER_08: I tell people every day you can live off hope.
[11:22] SPEAKER_08: You can live off belief.
[11:25] SPEAKER_08: You gotta chalk it to exit into existence.
[11:28] SPEAKER_08: When I sat in that cell and I thought about becoming a rapper, you gotta understand at that point when I was thinking about becoming a rapper, nobody had done that.
[11:37] SPEAKER_08: Nobody had come out from doing eight, nine, ten years and became a platinum selling rapper.
[11:42] SPEAKER_08: Nobody had done that yet.
[11:42] SPEAKER_08: So I ain't had no examples to look from.
[11:44] SPEAKER_08: So I was saying, like, can I do that?
[11:48] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
[11:48] SPEAKER_06: You gotta believe you gonna do that.
[11:49] SPEAKER_08: You started, you gotta believe.
[11:51] SPEAKER_08: You got to will yourself into a situation.
[11:54] SPEAKER_08: That is the only way.
[11:55] SPEAKER_08: You gotta have the vision too.
[11:56] SPEAKER_08: You gotta see yourself in these positions already.
[11:59] SPEAKER_08: Pause.
[12:00] SPEAKER_08: Pause.
[12:00] SPEAKER_08: But you gotta what?
[12:02] SPEAKER_04: I said, pause.
[12:03] SPEAKER_04: You gotta I said you gotta see yourself in these positions.
[12:06] SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna go.
[12:09] SPEAKER_03: It's nothing wrong with seeing yourself in a position, bro.
[12:12] SPEAKER_03: Like, yo, leave me alone, bro.
[12:13] SPEAKER_03: Nigga, overly tricked you, bro.
[12:16] SPEAKER_03: Yo, yo, for real, bro.
[12:17] SPEAKER_03: We don't play pause in shara.
[12:19] SPEAKER_03: Hey man, bro.
[12:20] SPEAKER_03: For real, bro.
[12:21] SPEAKER_03: You just did some bullshit.
[12:22] SPEAKER_03: Just leave it.
[12:22] SPEAKER_03: We don't play pause in shara.
[12:24] SPEAKER_08: Leave me alone.
[12:25] SPEAKER_08: I know that for a fact.
[12:27] SPEAKER_08: Don't play that shit out.
[12:28] SPEAKER_08: But don't play that shit out there.
[12:30] SPEAKER_07: For sure.
[12:31] SPEAKER_07: But that shit is true, though.
[12:32] SPEAKER_07: I got a homie who passed away, man.
[12:34] SPEAKER_07: My homie uh C Money, and she used to tell me, because I used to like manifest a lot of shit.
[12:39] SPEAKER_07: Like sometimes I rap.
[12:42] SPEAKER_07: I used to tell him, like, bro, you every time you rap about some shit, it either happened or we really end up doing it.
[12:48] SPEAKER_07: Like, literally.
[12:49] SPEAKER_07: Like for real.
[12:50] SPEAKER_07: Really end up just falling out left.
[12:51] SPEAKER_07: I used to, because everybody says, like, the power of the tongue is super, like, that's just a big thing.
[12:56] SPEAKER_07: That's right.
[12:56] SPEAKER_07: That's the universe.
[12:57] SPEAKER_07: Like, you gotta speak.
[12:58] SPEAKER_07: When you speak in certain shit, that's why I don't like to speak negative shit either.
[13:02] SPEAKER_07: Everyone that shit have happened.
[13:03] SPEAKER_07: Ever.
[13:03] SPEAKER_08: One thing I say, listen, people say, yes, and oh, how's your day?
[13:06] SPEAKER_08: That's it's a good day.
[13:07] SPEAKER_08: It's a great day.
[13:08] SPEAKER_08: Every time you speak to me, I'm gonna tell you having a I'm having a great day, no matter what's going on.
[13:13] SPEAKER_08: All of the bumps, all of the bruises along the day, that's just a part of life.
[13:18] SPEAKER_08: Right.
[13:19] SPEAKER_08: But if you tell yourself I'm having a bad day, guess what you're gonna have?
[13:23] SPEAKER_08: A bad day.
[13:23] SPEAKER_08: No, for sure.
[13:24] SPEAKER_08: Anything you put in anything you put out there in the universal is what you're gonna get.
[13:28] SPEAKER_08: You keep having it.
[13:29] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you can hold on to a bad day and then it's a bad week.
[13:31] SPEAKER_06: You can hold on to a bad week, it's a bad month.
[13:34] SPEAKER_06: Next thing you know, you had a bad year.
[13:35] SPEAKER_06: And then with the way that's even with the way you think about the bad day.
[13:38] SPEAKER_08: If you call yourself old, you're gonna end up feeling like that.
[13:40] SPEAKER_08: I mean, you talk about that all the time.
[13:42] SPEAKER_08: It's the energy you put out.
[13:43] SPEAKER_00: Whatever you say you are, oh man, I'm too old for this.
[13:46] SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm getting too tired.
[13:47] SPEAKER_00: I can't do that, man.
[13:48] SPEAKER_00: Niggas ain't outside now, I'm too old.
[13:50] SPEAKER_00: Then you then you then you old.
[13:51] SPEAKER_00: You're gonna feel like that.
[13:52] SPEAKER_08: Everything that you put out there, especially if it got a negative connotation, because the universe don't understand that you just putting shit out there uh rhetorically.
[14:01] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they just think that you mean it.
[14:03] SPEAKER_07: Nah, for sure, the power of the universe, that's it.
[14:05] SPEAKER_07: 100%.
[14:05] SPEAKER_07: Like, and a lot of times, a lot of people can't withstand the shit that like I really feel like it's only a small group of niggas like like people like us that could really like withstand like controversy and shit like that to be able to overcome obstacles because like you just saying, somebody could be like, man, I'm having a bad day.
[14:25] SPEAKER_07: Yo day just started.
[14:26] SPEAKER_07: This shit probably could turn around in the next few hours, and you can have one of the best days of your life.
[14:31] SPEAKER_07: You feel what I'm saying?
[14:32] SPEAKER_07: So you just try to keep pushing through that shit.
[14:35] SPEAKER_08: Well, listen, nothing lasts forever.
[14:36] SPEAKER_08: For sure.
[14:37] SPEAKER_08: Nothing lasts forever.
[14:38] SPEAKER_08: That means bad things that's going on, things that you don't that's uncomfortable for you.
[14:43] SPEAKER_08: It won't last forever.
[14:44] SPEAKER_08: Even good things won't last forever.
[14:45] SPEAKER_08: But you gotta weather the storm.
[14:48] SPEAKER_08: Real talk, everybody got those pieces they throw on when they know the fit gotta hit.
[14:55] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[14:55] SPEAKER_08: My fit's always hitting.
[14:57] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[14:58] SPEAKER_08: The right sneakers, pow.
[15:00] SPEAKER_08: That's the boot though.
[15:01] SPEAKER_08: The right jacket, but sometimes the jury is what brings everything together.

[15:16] SPEAKER_08: All right, hold it up.
[15:17] SPEAKER_08: Hold it up.
[15:18] SPEAKER_08: You see that quality?
[15:18] SPEAKER_08: Bam.

[15:32] SPEAKER_08: I felt the quality.

[16:13] SPEAKER_08: Ooh, waterproof.
[16:14] SPEAKER_08: It's waterproof.
[16:15] SPEAKER_08: Go swimming with that thing.
[16:16] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[16:16] SPEAKER_08: Bahamas waters.

[16:51] SPEAKER_08: Let them know Let's Rap About It, and let them know that we sent you.
[16:55] SPEAKER_08: Holla at it.
[16:58] SPEAKER_06: So speaking of something like that, right?
[17:00] SPEAKER_06: We in we all in a space of being subject to media and their opinions or their narratives.
[17:09] SPEAKER_06: How do you deal with or how do you feel about like media putting narratives?
[17:15] SPEAKER_06: Because we all have had situations that have um ended up in media and people saying they they opinions or they or they thoughts on it.
[17:25] SPEAKER_06: And it may be a narrative that ain't even true.
[17:28] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, for sure.
[17:29] SPEAKER_06: Sometimes you in a position, you might have a case, you might have, it might be a personal thing you're going through with your family.
[17:36] SPEAKER_06: You can't speak on it in a certain light.
[17:38] SPEAKER_06: But people now look to social media or like any platforms to get they they news.
[17:46] SPEAKER_06: So how do you how do you deal with them kind of situations where like false narratives may you had a case and you had to like deal with the case but like still deal with everybody what everybody's saying too?
[17:57] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, the worst part about it is the people on the internet that feel like they know more about your situation than you for real.
[18:04] SPEAKER_07: And a lot of times, like you're saying, like, because I went through that fighting like like like a case and legal shit I couldn't speak on and like kind of basically defend myself in so many ways, you know.
[18:15] SPEAKER_07: But it's just like I learned that you gotta kind of block the noise out because 90% of the world, bro, they never really been in our shoes.
[18:26] SPEAKER_07: They haven't.
[18:27] SPEAKER_07: They never been in the situations that we've been in.
[18:29] SPEAKER_07: So they talking about a lot of people tend to say, like, if that was me, I would have done this.
[18:35] SPEAKER_07: Right.
[18:35] SPEAKER_07: But they don't know.
[18:37] SPEAKER_06: I just told somebody today you can't talk to a frog about the ocean.
[18:41] SPEAKER_06: Because the frog never been in the ocean.
[18:43] SPEAKER_06: They be in ponds.
[18:44] SPEAKER_06: So, like, how can you explain?
[18:46] SPEAKER_06: They kick, they can act like they gonna understand, but you ain't never been in the ocean, bro.
[18:51] SPEAKER_08: It's easy, it's easy to say how how real you is if you ain't never been in that courtroom for something for real.
[18:56] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, nigga never.
[18:57] SPEAKER_04: But the rumors at some point, nigga gotta stop feeding into any rumors or any shit they put out on the media, because that's what it's there for.
[19:05] SPEAKER_08: It ain't nothing to do to stop them from speaking on it.
[19:08] SPEAKER_08: Putting bullshit on your name.
[19:09] SPEAKER_08: That's what that shit is doing.
[19:10] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they're gonna do it.
[19:11] SPEAKER_07: But people who speaking on it, nine times out of ten, they've like I said, they never experienced the shit that we've been through.
[19:18] SPEAKER_07: But in other, in other ways, like the people who I feel be speaking on it, if they could, they'll still probably trade places with anybody that they're 100%.
[19:28] SPEAKER_07: They would rather be in this, you know what I'm saying?
[19:30] SPEAKER_07: They'd rather be in one of our shoes than theirs, but they got so much to say.
[19:34] SPEAKER_08: People will see you bust out with a Lamborghini truck and be like, oh, he got the lower tier Lamborghini truck, and they don't even have a car, bro.
[19:40] SPEAKER_08: And they be talking about, oh, he got you understand what I'm saying.
[19:44] SPEAKER_08: That shit comes from a plan with you did.
[19:45] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, that shit come from a painful.
[19:46] SPEAKER_08: But they never did it.
[19:47] SPEAKER_06: They could tell you how to do it, but they never did it.
[19:48] SPEAKER_06: Right.
[19:49] SPEAKER_08: It comes from a painful place.
[19:50] SPEAKER_08: Anytime somebody trying to point out, you know, something that's wrong with you, they trying to point out issues with you, it's because they see that in themselves.
[19:59] SPEAKER_08: They not, they decide, they wake up, they dissatisfies with who they are.
[20:03] SPEAKER_08: You know what I'm saying?
[20:03] SPEAKER_06: What about like not the audience?
[20:06] SPEAKER_06: What about like media?
[20:07] SPEAKER_06: Like this week too, Stephen A, he was speaking, he apologized for speaking on, I think, Amon and uh Tiana Taylor's situation, but he found out what he was saying wasn't true.
[20:21] SPEAKER_06: So he came back and apologized for it.
[20:23] SPEAKER_06: But a lot of times in our era too, once you state something, you already wearing the stain of whatever it was, whether somebody takes it back, whether they're not able to do it.
[20:33] SPEAKER_06: So, how do you feel about like the media talking about something that they don't really know what they talking about?
[20:40] SPEAKER_06: Are they just are you do you in the same place just disregard it?
[20:43] SPEAKER_06: Because because a lot of people look to the media as news, like you know what I mean?
[20:48] SPEAKER_06: Even social media ain't even credible news, but that's what everybody looking at.
[20:52] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, once I feel like once some shit on the internet is, I mean, I I don't believe it for real, but I'm just saying, like, in today's world and what it is, once some shit on the internet is just like that's the narrative they go on.
[21:04] SPEAKER_07: Somebody say you this on the internet, the world just gonna say this until otherwise.
[21:08] SPEAKER_07: No, that's a hundred percent.
[21:09] SPEAKER_07: They love you to everybody know this though.
[21:10] SPEAKER_07: If you come from the streets, it's like they love you today, they hate you tomorrow, then they love you again.
[21:14] SPEAKER_03: When you find another thing, the internet don't need proof.
[21:17] SPEAKER_03: They just need to hit they just need to hear it or or see the capture.
[21:20] SPEAKER_07: The media is their job too, though.
[21:21] SPEAKER_07: It's like you gotta look at it like that's why I disregard it because it's really their job to even, they don't have no moral ground when it comes to what they will and what they want to do.
[21:32] SPEAKER_07: You don't even have to research it or get proof for incredible story.
[21:35] SPEAKER_07: It's about that no more.
[21:37] SPEAKER_08: It's about sensationalism, it's about just clicks, it's about what's gonna drive the traffic, it's about gossip, but it's a way to deal with that.
[21:45] SPEAKER_08: And I wish I'd have known years ago how to deal with that.
[21:49] SPEAKER_08: Like anytime there's a scandal or something that comes out on your name, just drop a sex tape.
[21:54] SPEAKER_08: Every time it always works hundred percent, it's gonna go super viral.
[21:58] SPEAKER_08: That's that's that's Solves every problem.
[22:00] SPEAKER_08: A sex tape every time.
[22:02] SPEAKER_08: But what Fad was saying is whether they get the story right or they get the story wrong, it don't matter to the media because they still gonna get the eyes and the traffic that they need to make money.
[22:13] SPEAKER_08: If they make a mistake, then they put up this elaborate apology and all that shit, they still get a bunch of people.
[22:18] SPEAKER_08: Very rarely they do that.
[22:20] SPEAKER_08: But it don't matter because it's still in the media.
[22:22] SPEAKER_08: Because they just look at the traffic.
[22:27] SPEAKER_07: I see this shit all the time, bro.
[22:29] SPEAKER_07: Like, I mean, we all human, so it's like sometimes you want to respond and you feel away, but you just gotta find it in you to just disregard that shit.
[22:37] SPEAKER_07: And what I would say, I appreciate more about like y'all era when y'all came up is before like this super like internet culture, it was it was the world was much smaller.
[22:48] SPEAKER_07: So it's like when people said stuff, stuff about like y'all or media outlets and stuff, they had to actually see y'all in the real world.
[22:55] SPEAKER_07: So they had to watch what they said about y'all.
[22:58] SPEAKER_07: Because they know like you gotta stand on what you say.
[23:01] SPEAKER_07: If you see me out and about, you see what I'm saying?
[23:03] SPEAKER_07: So certain people will watch what they say and how they said it because they know in a room like this, they wouldn't be able to defend themselves against, you know what I'm saying, like a guy of our caliber that's willing to go all the way.
[23:15] SPEAKER_07: Nowadays, it's like you could just have behind the internet, hire a bunch of 10 security guards, you can stream from your crib, you don't gotta be in the same rooms or areas.
[23:23] SPEAKER_07: Like people could control a vibe, you could have fun, party, and never step into a club.
[23:28] SPEAKER_07: You could bring everything to you.
[23:29] SPEAKER_07: You know what I'm saying?
[23:30] SPEAKER_07: Like, I feel like back in the early 2000s and shit like that, like when people said things, they had to stand on what they say because it was easier to get up with somebody back then.
[23:38] SPEAKER_08: So now there's no accountability now.
[23:40] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, there's no accountability at all.
[23:42] SPEAKER_07: Because everybody can hide behind the internet.
[23:43] SPEAKER_07: You can say whatever you can hide behind the internet and never be seen again.
[23:46] SPEAKER_07: Like, and if somebody does see you, you got police with you and all of that, like you feel what I'm saying.
[23:50] SPEAKER_07: Like nowadays, it's so easy to hire guards.
[23:53] SPEAKER_07: It wasn't easy like that back then.
[23:54] SPEAKER_08: So do you so you so do you find yourself when you know this, you ignore more shit.
[24:01] SPEAKER_08: You have to.
[24:01] SPEAKER_06: You have to get that's the good the goal, but all of us here have spoken on something for sure.
[24:08] SPEAKER_06: I still touch that.
[24:12] SPEAKER_06: You don't like you know it in your head, like yo, sometimes people clout chasing, sometimes people, you know what I mean?
[24:18] SPEAKER_07: But sometimes I be having to stop myself because I still find myself saying some shit about somebody.
[24:25] SPEAKER_06: And then when you it's like a and that's not wrong because it's really it's about just yourself, it's about your brand, it's about your reputation.
[24:33] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[24:34] SPEAKER_06: You just can't let your pride get into it where you responding off pride.
[24:37] SPEAKER_06: But like at the same time, you are who you are, and what somebody says you are, if that's false, right?
[24:44] SPEAKER_06: You wanna, you know what I mean?
[24:45] SPEAKER_06: You can't you can't defend against every false narrative in the world.
[24:49] SPEAKER_06: But you know what I mean?
[24:50] SPEAKER_07: Some things it attack attacks your character, it attacks what type of person you are, so it'll make you, you know what I mean, I find myself having ignored shit because like where I come from, bro, and how I grew up, if I if you say you're gonna do something, you gotta do it.
[25:04] SPEAKER_07: 100%.
[25:05] SPEAKER_07: That's why I try to like avoid confrontation, I avoid like rap beefs and shit like that.
[25:10] SPEAKER_07: Cause it's like if it's a problem with me and you and we end up in the same room, I'm never gonna say what I do when I see you, especially on the internet.
[25:18] SPEAKER_07: Because once you put it out there in the world, I gotta stand on it no matter where we are.
[25:21] SPEAKER_07: That's a fact.
[25:22] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I would rather somebody else had it and then I want to see what you about when you see it.
[25:27] SPEAKER_08: How have you done that though?
[25:28] SPEAKER_08: Because a lot of your peers that come from where you come from, or even just in the in the game period, not just Chicago, but just all over, right?
[25:37] SPEAKER_08: The culture now, uh the back and forth, the argument, the yo, when I see you is up, you sliding.
[25:44] SPEAKER_08: You manage to stay kind of clear away from a lot of that, though.
[25:47] SPEAKER_08: How you how do you maintain that?
[25:49] SPEAKER_07: I feel like I just try to keep a certain energy around me because like I just said this like recently, not too long ago.
[25:55] SPEAKER_07: It's like I don't know how to I only know how to go from letting it go or going all the way 100%.
[26:03] SPEAKER_07: You see what I'm saying?
[26:04] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I try to stay out of that because in this industry, in the world we in, it's like if you do certain things, especially in certain places, it's like you damn near gonna go to jail for real.
[26:15] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I try to keep my freedom in mind and my peace of mind because I know what I'm I'm confident in myself, I know what I'm capable of doing, I know what I will do, I know what the people around me are capable of doing.
[26:27] SPEAKER_07: And it's like, no, you're going to jail.
[26:29] SPEAKER_07: I don't like I believe myself, you're going to jail for sure, but like I feel like me as a man, what I believe in, like the things that I really love and what I stand for, I'm willing to die and go to jail about that.
[26:41] SPEAKER_07: So I try to avoid certain things.
[26:43] SPEAKER_08: No, 100%.
[26:44] SPEAKER_08: Because you know, the Art of War, right?
[26:47] SPEAKER_08: Sun Tzu, the Art of War.
[26:48] SPEAKER_08: If you ever read that book, it tells you avoid war at all costs.
[26:53] SPEAKER_08: Not because you're afraid of what your opponent is do, because you know that what you just said, what you capable of.
[27:00] SPEAKER_08: So men that's solid in who they are, we don't walk around ice grilling, face fucking.
[27:08] SPEAKER_08: We don't like we know who you know who you are.
[27:10] SPEAKER_08: We ain't talk loud.
[27:11] SPEAKER_08: We know who you are, and you're comfortable with who you are.
[27:14] SPEAKER_08: And this is why you you kind of walk in a path where it's like I try to stay away from the shit instead of feeding into it.
[27:20] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'm not sure.
[27:21] SPEAKER_07: It's proofing that too, though.
[27:22] SPEAKER_07: Like, I ain't mean to cut you off.
[27:23] SPEAKER_07: It's proofing that like I done been in certain areas or instances where I've been around people who said what they'll do to me when they see me.
[27:30] SPEAKER_07: And I and when I'm there, it's like it's never that.
[27:32] SPEAKER_07: A lot of times, niggas, I done literally seen people walk past, have their hair down, or whatever the case may be.
[27:38] SPEAKER_07: Like, I don't say what I'm gonna do because I feel like I gotta do it.
[27:41] SPEAKER_07: I'm not even gonna, I'm the type of person I gotta replay my day back when I wake up and see, like, you know what I'm saying?
[27:48] SPEAKER_07: Like, I'm that kind of guy.
[27:49] SPEAKER_07: If if if it bothered me the next day, like I was I had a conversation with with Ruggs about this shit.
[27:54] SPEAKER_07: Like, we said the same thing.
[27:56] SPEAKER_07: Like, if if I'm still thinking about it the next day when I get up, I gotta do something about it.
[28:01] SPEAKER_07: Like, it's gonna bother me every day.
[28:02] SPEAKER_07: So I just try to let it go.
[28:04] SPEAKER_08: And I don't and I'm handcuffed too.
[28:06] SPEAKER_07: I'm not gonna feel like a man if I don't do nothing.
[28:09] SPEAKER_07: Fact.
[28:10] SPEAKER_07: Fact.
[28:11] SPEAKER_06: I think one of the key things you said too was not speaking on what you'll do because that also puts that put it out there.
[28:21] SPEAKER_06: And now, nowadays, like you just said, it's cameras everywhere.
[28:26] SPEAKER_06: Now, when it's cameras or you seeing them and nothing do nothing either.
[28:30] SPEAKER_06: Like, you know what I mean?
[28:31] SPEAKER_06: It'd be videos of that now, even out.
[28:32] SPEAKER_06: Like, you know.
[28:38] SPEAKER_08: What you said you were gonna do, and then you letting all police and everybody who else who's on camera watching this shit.
[28:44] SPEAKER_06: And then you ain't even doing nothing.
[28:45] SPEAKER_06: If you do the you're not even doing it for what you wanted, you gotta.
[28:48] SPEAKER_06: Some people is doing it because I said I'm gonna do it on the internet.
[28:51] SPEAKER_06: You feel like you gotta certainly it's really not even in you for real.
[28:56] SPEAKER_07: You probably never even done what you said.
[28:57] SPEAKER_07: You just call the case because it might be your first time doing something to somebody, and then you go to jail for the rest of your life, or you die, or even better, like I was saying, you welcome that energy.
[29:08] SPEAKER_07: Like, it don't even gotta be the person you talking to.
[29:12] SPEAKER_07: Like when you say certain things, you put certain things out in the world, somebody will just try you.
[29:16] SPEAKER_07: Just to they want to see if you really about it.
[29:19] SPEAKER_07: It's people like that too.
[29:20] SPEAKER_07: It's real crash outs that try you.
[29:22] SPEAKER_07: I want to see if this nigga really about it.
[29:24] SPEAKER_08: That's all that era was when we was coming up first going on the road.
[29:27] SPEAKER_08: Every town you go to, niggas just want to try you to see if you you knew you really about you.
[29:33] SPEAKER_04: Like, bro, that's how all the fight started out of town.
[29:36] SPEAKER_04: And niggas love it.
[29:37] SPEAKER_04: They leave with the story.
[29:38] SPEAKER_04: Now the story goes for years and they tell you, we had them niggas is real, we got it all with them niggas, they really give it up.
[29:43] SPEAKER_06: Like they win or loss.
[29:44] SPEAKER_06: Like, it's like it's just a it's a battle story.
[29:47] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, like yo, nah, they they real, like this shit is crazy, bro.
[29:50] SPEAKER_07: Because if you a real nigga, I ain't gonna lie.
[29:51] SPEAKER_07: You you gonna like like power respect power.
[29:55] SPEAKER_07: So you're gonna still give a nigga they props if you know he's real about his business, too.
[30:01] SPEAKER_07: No matter if you don't even like him, you could be against this person, but you know you're gonna be really about what you're saying.
[30:06] SPEAKER_07: Real recognize real.
[30:07] SPEAKER_07: For sure.
[30:08] SPEAKER_08: You're gonna know even even your enemies.
[30:10] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it's it's okay to have respect for your enemies.
[30:12] SPEAKER_08: No, for sure.
[30:13] SPEAKER_08: You understand?
[30:14] SPEAKER_08: And don't underestimate them.
[30:18] SPEAKER_06: So I don't know if y'all saw the game this week, but the Giants, three and one, they played the commanders.
[30:24] SPEAKER_06: Yep, they came back, um, but they the game ended up being a tie because to be honest, you gotta take the tie, but the reskin, the commanders, my bad, the commanders, um they made a mistake at the end and just ran out of time.
[30:43] SPEAKER_06: So really they they could have won the game, they could have gone for a field goal and and won a game.
[30:48] SPEAKER_08: Somebody I never knew football can end in a tie, bro.
[30:52] SPEAKER_08: I did, yeah.
[30:52] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, I never worked.
[30:54] SPEAKER_08: I never knew.
[30:55] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, teams get a chance to score something like that, and then the game can just end on the tie.
[31:00] SPEAKER_08: They run out of time.
[31:01] SPEAKER_06: A tie in football is whack, though.
[31:02] SPEAKER_06: They should just run out of time.
[31:04] SPEAKER_06: I've seen that like that.
[31:05] SPEAKER_08: I went to a I went to a Giants game record if you get a tie.
[31:09] SPEAKER_06: You'd be like 3-1 and 1.
[31:11] SPEAKER_06: The Giants is 3-1 and 1 now.
[31:12] SPEAKER_06: I know hockey they'd be happy to have a tie.
[31:14] SPEAKER_06: One loss, one tie.
[31:16] SPEAKER_06: That's why it's whack.
[31:17] SPEAKER_06: Because it's like, but you know what I mean?
[31:19] SPEAKER_06: You gotta take the tie because they really was in real life, they were supposed to lose.
[31:22] SPEAKER_06: So I take that towel with that L the top.
[31:25] SPEAKER_06: You take a tie over L.
[31:26] SPEAKER_06: That's right.
[31:27] SPEAKER_08: Take that towel with L.
[31:28] SPEAKER_06: That's a fact.
[31:29] SPEAKER_06: Jameis Winston.
[31:31] SPEAKER_06: He had a uh cool game.
[31:34] SPEAKER_06: Um they ended up coming back at the end, and that's how they got the top.
[31:38] SPEAKER_06: Um, how y'all still feel about about him?
[31:41] SPEAKER_06: Is he I think he's gonna do more.
[31:42] SPEAKER_08: I'm still feeling the same, man.
[31:43] SPEAKER_08: More and more and more.
[31:47] SPEAKER_08: 100%.
[31:48] SPEAKER_08: He ain't taking L.
[31:49] SPEAKER_08: He ain't take an L.
[31:50] SPEAKER_08: Anybody that ain't riding with an L, you gotta New York, so here's New York, New York.
[31:56] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, big New York energy.
[31:57] SPEAKER_08: So it's more seasons.
[31:58] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but it is, man.
[32:00] SPEAKER_06: More and more and more.
[32:00] SPEAKER_06: Jamie Winston.
[32:01] SPEAKER_06: So, what y'all think with Jameis?
[32:03] SPEAKER_06: Y'all think y'all going more touchdowns with him, more wins?
[32:05] SPEAKER_06: What's the more?
[32:07] SPEAKER_08: I'm going more across the board, more touchdowns, more.
[32:11] SPEAKER_08: More everything for real.
[32:12] SPEAKER_08: More catches, more passes, whatever.
[32:14] SPEAKER_08: What else they got?
[32:15] SPEAKER_06: I go more TDs, more wins too.
[32:17] SPEAKER_06: I think as he gets more comfortable being a quarterback, he's gonna, you know what I mean, be able to find a way to get them wins and get them touchdowns.
[32:27] SPEAKER_06: Another key thing you said was about your kids and like like things you care for.
[32:33] SPEAKER_06: So us all having kids here, like too.
[32:38] SPEAKER_06: Another thing that that came across this week was seeing what you doing was also is what you instilling in your kids too.
[32:47] SPEAKER_06: Do you do you do you what's the top three things that you see?
[32:52] SPEAKER_06: I think our kids is a little younger, but I also got an 18-year-old too.
[32:56] SPEAKER_06: But y'all got older kids.
[32:58] SPEAKER_06: Do you ever see things that you instilled while they was growing up now that Pootie and and and and Zane is is older, do you see things that you instilled in the left?
[33:08] SPEAKER_08: A lot of it, I mean, a lot of it, like as he got older, like when he was in the teenage years, 17, he was against me.
[33:16] SPEAKER_08: But now, like even tonight when we got home, we was running around all day.
[33:19] SPEAKER_08: We got home like 8 30, he like, nah, we going to the gym.
[33:21] SPEAKER_08: I'm like, man.
[33:22] SPEAKER_08: But if if if he ain't give me that spark, I wouldn't have gone to the gym tonight.
[33:26] SPEAKER_08: But that's one of the things that I instilled.
[33:28] SPEAKER_08: He's seen me all my life, all his life working out and shit like that.
[33:31] SPEAKER_08: So to see him on a consistent basis working out, getting bigger is like, all right, he really watching and paying attention to what's going on and shit like that.
[33:38] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[33:39] SPEAKER_08: So I hope that my good outweighed the bad that he seen me do work.
[33:44] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[33:44] SPEAKER_08: No, that's a good thing.
[33:45] SPEAKER_08: Because they pick up everything and shit like that.
[33:47] SPEAKER_08: So that's the scary part.
[33:48] SPEAKER_08: It's like, all right, you picking up that.
[33:49] SPEAKER_08: So what about the bad traits that you watch me go through in the house?
[33:54] SPEAKER_08: You dig, and then I see a little bit of that also, and it's like, damn, like how the fuck do I want the good to outweigh the bad, right?
[34:00] SPEAKER_08: So I I see my son picking up, he gets up early every morning, getting to his job, like he's doing what he what he's doing because he knows I'm very particular when it comes.
[34:09] SPEAKER_08: We ain't sleeping all day, we getting to it, we staying motivated.
[34:12] SPEAKER_08: Like we get up, we motivated, we feeling good, keep your energy good.
[34:16] SPEAKER_08: Like, get up, let's get to it.
[34:18] SPEAKER_08: So I see him, you know, he's working out.
[34:20] SPEAKER_08: He I seen him finding his way.
[34:22] SPEAKER_08: And I agree with what you said, because when they when they're in teenage years, they're trying to figure it out, right?
[34:28] SPEAKER_08: And it's like, man, you still missed us.
[34:30] SPEAKER_08: They don't think we know 100%.
[34:32] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[34:33] SPEAKER_08: So they go through different, you watch them go through, y'all got y'all got younger sons, so you're gonna watch them change, but your oldest son is getting, he at that age now, he's 18 now, right?
[34:43] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, he gotta get to it.
[34:45] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, right, right.
[34:46] SPEAKER_08: That's what I'm saying.
[34:47] SPEAKER_08: He at that age, it's like, what you about to be doing?
[34:50] SPEAKER_08: Like, you know?
[34:51] SPEAKER_08: And it's you start to try to like figure it out, but it's a good thing that we did because the the biggest thing for me though is the opportunity to be there with my son.
[35:01] SPEAKER_08: Because I I didn't have my father with me.
[35:03] SPEAKER_08: 100%.
[35:04] SPEAKER_08: So this is why I pour more into him.
[35:06] SPEAKER_08: It's like, man, I I got to have a relationship with you.
[35:09] SPEAKER_08: By the time I was 14, my father died already.
[35:11] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, right?
[35:12] SPEAKER_08: So it's like now you get to grow up with me.
[35:16] SPEAKER_08: Doing everything you wish you could have done with your father.
[35:18] SPEAKER_08: Exactly.
[35:18] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so that's how I live with my son.
[35:20] SPEAKER_06: Your your daughter and sons are uh on the younger side, but as you as you live in, you still have to.
[35:26] SPEAKER_07: I don't know like your son though, he ate, so he's picking up a lot more too.
[35:29] SPEAKER_07: Like, even though he, of course, still a still a baby to me, like you know what I'm saying?
[35:33] SPEAKER_07: But it's just like he watched everything that I do too.
[35:36] SPEAKER_07: And I try to like, my dad been around, like my dad was around my whole life until he passed away two years ago.
[35:42] SPEAKER_07: So I always like I I didn't understand what he used to be saying, but he used to always just preach to just be a leader, just always be a leader, never be a follower.
[35:52] SPEAKER_07: Like he always used to say that to me.
[35:54] SPEAKER_07: I don't know why he always used to say it.
[35:56] SPEAKER_08: But did you did you so you didn't understand early on?
[35:58] SPEAKER_07: I didn't understand early on, but when I started like being in the streets and going around, like I didn't never fall under peer pressure, bro.
[36:06] SPEAKER_07: Couldn't nobody never make me do nothing that I didn't want to do.
[36:09] SPEAKER_07: Like if you're my man's, I'm with you.
[36:10] SPEAKER_07: I'm all in.
[36:11] SPEAKER_07: But it's like if it's something that I consider like some fuck shit or some shit that I ain't I'm against, I I'm not gonna do it.
[36:18] SPEAKER_07: And it's because my pops really instilled that in me since I was a baby.
[36:22] SPEAKER_07: Four, three, five years, all of those small things.
[36:25] SPEAKER_08: Yo, that was subliminal, too.
[36:26] SPEAKER_08: You used to tell me, you know that you'll never be.
[36:28] SPEAKER_08: Even if you don't understand it, it's subliminal.
[36:30] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's triggered in your mind, right?
[36:34] SPEAKER_06: Same thing to my kids though.
[36:35] SPEAKER_06: I think I'm just gonna be able to do that.
[36:36] SPEAKER_06: All the things with parents be like, you don't really catch them when they anyway.
[36:40] SPEAKER_06: No, you don't like man, go ahead.
[36:41] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you tweak it.
[36:43] SPEAKER_07: I do think you made it on it you'd be like, it's the shit my mom.
[36:47] SPEAKER_07: A lot of people don't have to.
[36:48] SPEAKER_07: I used to fear my dad.
[36:49] SPEAKER_07: That's a that was a good thing.
[36:51] SPEAKER_07: Like my dad used to say crazy shit to me, like, nigga, I'll kill you.
[36:54] SPEAKER_07: Like if I see you outside standing on the corner, I'll kill you.
[36:57] SPEAKER_07: Like that helps you.
[36:58] SPEAKER_07: A drug addict, this, this, this, I'll kill you.
[37:01] SPEAKER_07: That helps you.
[37:01] SPEAKER_07: That helped me for real.
[37:03] SPEAKER_07: I got to a point where, of course, I had my own route and got into the streets and all of that, but I always kind of like kept my dad involved in what I was doing.
[37:14] SPEAKER_07: You feel me?
[37:14] SPEAKER_07: I never really kept things away from him or hid things, like, you know what I'm saying, that I was into.
[37:19] SPEAKER_07: And he didn't always agree with it, you feel me?
[37:21] SPEAKER_07: But he always had a father that would like preach wisdom into me and tell me what was what and what wasn't.
[37:28] SPEAKER_07: You see what I'm saying?
[37:29] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I try to do that.
[37:31] SPEAKER_07: And and the thing with my kids that's most important to me, and especially having a daughter, is telling the truth.
[37:38] SPEAKER_07: My pops never lied to me about nothing.
[37:40] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I just feel like I gotta tell the truth about anything to my kids.
[37:44] SPEAKER_07: When they ask me a question, or it's just like, you can't sugarcoat it because the world is the world is crazy.
[37:50] SPEAKER_07: It's not gonna sugarcoat it and they get these right.
[37:53] SPEAKER_06: Even when you're not with them, your kids is gonna see stuff that you ain't even knowing they seeing and processing.
[37:58] SPEAKER_06: So when you're being truthful to them, they can even come to you with something they don't understand.
[38:02] SPEAKER_06: If they feel like you that they can't bring it to you, or like you're not gonna be able to do it.
[38:08] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, exactly.
[38:09] SPEAKER_08: And then you can't protect them from the things that y'all see.
[38:14] SPEAKER_07: You can't see it.
[38:16] SPEAKER_07: I swear to God, everything that I do now, my pops instilled that shit in me when I was a kid.
[38:21] SPEAKER_07: He used to be like, bro, when you leave the house, I can't do nothing for you.
[38:24] SPEAKER_07: Like, um, you gotta think for yourself.
[38:26] SPEAKER_07: When you get in the situation, it's like he used to always tell me, like, I never even been arrested before.
[38:30] SPEAKER_07: He used to tell me, don't talk to the police.
[38:32] SPEAKER_07: Tell them you want your lawyer.
[38:33] SPEAKER_07: That's right.
[38:33] SPEAKER_07: He's paying you, though.
[38:35] SPEAKER_07: Lawyer, lawyer, lawyer.
[38:36] SPEAKER_07: He used to tell me that when I was a kid.
[38:38] SPEAKER_07: I want my parents or my lawyer.
[38:39] SPEAKER_07: This is a few.
[38:39] SPEAKER_07: Before I ever went to jail.
[38:41] SPEAKER_08: My son got locked up maybe when he was, I don't know, 14, 15.
[38:44] SPEAKER_08: He was running around Jersey kicking over garbage, doing the shit that we did.
[38:48] SPEAKER_03: So he gets locked up.
[38:50] SPEAKER_03: I get to the precinct.
[38:52] SPEAKER_03: Police officer said all he would do is give me his name, his birthday, and said, call my father.
[39:00] SPEAKER_08: He wouldn't say nothing else.
[39:02] SPEAKER_04: But like you said, like what your father told you, is like the shit that and I was I was mad at him for getting in that situation, but I felt good that he understood the assignment.
[39:14] SPEAKER_06: Under the situation, right?
[39:16] SPEAKER_08: Yes.
[39:16] SPEAKER_08: And he and he stuck with what he was taught.
[39:18] SPEAKER_08: Yes, yeah.
[39:19] SPEAKER_08: You did good with that.
[39:22] SPEAKER_07: You definitely, it's like the importance of just having your parents in your life, bro, is it make a big difference because uh none of my homies had their fathers.
[39:32] SPEAKER_07: I was like one of the only among all of my friends growing up that really had both parents in the house.
[39:37] SPEAKER_07: That was super rare.
[39:38] SPEAKER_07: Like, do you feel like they just never really had their papa?
[39:40] SPEAKER_08: Do you feel like that's why you stand alone, sort of in your own space, opposed to a lot of your other peers that come that came up from your from your area?
[39:54] SPEAKER_07: What I could see the difference between myself and a lot of people I grew up with that grew up in a house with a woman is they would act off emotion a lot.
[40:02] SPEAKER_07: Every time they got angry, they would show it.
[40:05] SPEAKER_07: But they they didn't know how to like hold a conversation or think before they do something.
[40:11] SPEAKER_07: Everybody used to just act off impulse.
[40:13] SPEAKER_07: A bunch of just like, because we all, don't get me wrong, we all had a lot of built-in anger in us just because of the environments we grew up in.
[40:20] SPEAKER_07: Where everybody who was raised by their mother only, that I knew that I seen literally used to act off of pure emotion every single time.
[40:31] SPEAKER_07: They never could not show it.
[40:33] SPEAKER_07: When they mad, you knew it.
[40:34] SPEAKER_07: When they wanted to do something, you knew it.
[40:36] SPEAKER_07: They wouldn't think about it, they wouldn't rationalize, they would just act every time.
[40:40] SPEAKER_07: I never did that.
[40:41] SPEAKER_07: I never was the kind of guy when I got mad, I'm just gonna react right then.
[40:44] SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna think about what I'm gonna do at least five times before I actually do it.
[40:48] SPEAKER_07: I gotta go figure out if I like that.
[40:50] SPEAKER_07: That's why I know if I do it, there's no going back.
[40:52] SPEAKER_07: I don't care about the consequences, I don't give a fuck what happened, because I done thought about this so many times, I'm comfortable with whatever decision I make.
[40:59] SPEAKER_07: You always really wasn't like that growing up.
[41:01] SPEAKER_06: You also spoke about having a dad.
[41:04] SPEAKER_06: So when you going through those situations, you you all the stuff that he said to you or did with you, that father figure guidance is you know either understated or underappreciated, but like you having your dad that close to you to guide you, just guidance sometimes.
[41:21] SPEAKER_06: Just having all parents really is a man to look like that.
[41:24] SPEAKER_06: Like the kids still gotta live, but the guidance of your that's all your parents really are, is to try to guide you in the right day.
[41:31] SPEAKER_07: And still wasn't really hands-on.
[41:32] SPEAKER_07: She was just a mother, you feel what I'm saying?
[41:34] SPEAKER_07: You know how you could.
[41:35] SPEAKER_07: So you can run over your moms, you know what I'm saying?
[41:37] SPEAKER_08: But your pops, I couldn't do that with my friends.
[41:39] SPEAKER_08: You got that fear, right?
[41:40] SPEAKER_08: You got that you look right there.
[41:42] SPEAKER_07: And my pops was militant too.
[41:43] SPEAKER_07: His fear, my grandfather was like in the army, so he just was a super militant high.
[41:48] SPEAKER_07: He was very strategic.
[41:49] SPEAKER_07: Me and my pops were the same size, so we understood each other a little bit different.
[41:53] SPEAKER_07: And like he wasn't even a super street dude.
[41:56] SPEAKER_07: Like, I was in the streets way harder than my pops, but he knew a lot.
[41:59] SPEAKER_07: You feel what I'm saying?
[41:59] SPEAKER_07: So I used to be like wise though.
[42:01] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it's reverse for the mothers because the the single mothers that raise us, like my mom, she they try to teach you how to be a man at a very early age, like, and they don't really know.
[42:11] SPEAKER_08: And it's hard for them.
[42:12] SPEAKER_08: And it's and they struggle with that.
[42:14] SPEAKER_08: It's like you said how to treat you, you know what I mean?
[42:15] SPEAKER_08: Like, yeah, yeah, and I and I relate to that.
[42:18] SPEAKER_08: I relate to it to even the emotion of it.
[42:20] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[42:21] SPEAKER_08: I used to have a lot of pent-up anger in me, you know, seeing my father outside on crack and on drugs or whatever.
[42:26] SPEAKER_08: And then I was in the street very, very early.
[42:29] SPEAKER_08: So I was I was having a lot of issues and not knowing where to what to do with them.
[42:35] SPEAKER_08: No, not feeling like having no outlet, you know what I mean?
[42:38] SPEAKER_08: So we getting into the hammers and all the other shit, right?
[42:42] SPEAKER_08: So I relate to that because the emotion of that is you got pent-up anger.
[42:46] SPEAKER_08: You ain't have a man that try to show you what to do with your anger and how to control it.
[42:52] SPEAKER_08: Control that and bring that down.
[42:54] SPEAKER_08: So what you start doing, you start reacting to all the time.
[42:58] SPEAKER_08: We outside, we throwing them, right?
[43:00] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[43:00] SPEAKER_08: So I relate to that.
[43:02] SPEAKER_06: For sure.
[43:03] SPEAKER_06: You spoke on fear too.
[43:04] SPEAKER_06: Like, I do you think it was more fear or more respect?
[43:09] SPEAKER_06: Because I feel like it's a combination.
[43:11] SPEAKER_06: I feel I always I never want my kids to fear me, but I want them to respect me all the time.
[43:16] SPEAKER_06: Like, I don't care if you think I did something wrong, right?
[43:19] SPEAKER_06: I want to look at me, haven't you?
[43:21] SPEAKER_06: I would, I wish, I'm gonna laugh.
[43:37] SPEAKER_08: I'm saying what I want.
[43:38] SPEAKER_08: But what I want and what I'm getting is that the same open the door while you take it in the open door, it's one like they don't got a little respect for.
[43:51] SPEAKER_07: But that's that's another like that just shows like a different type of bond and with your son.
[43:58] SPEAKER_07: Like that's how you want my son too.
[44:00] SPEAKER_07: We don't get me wrong, it's a parent dynamic, but we like homies too.
[44:04] SPEAKER_07: Right, right.
[44:04] SPEAKER_07: My pops, we didn't get cool until I got in my 20s, like mid-20s, when we started to develop a relationship.
[44:11] SPEAKER_07: And the fear did outweigh the respect for him.
[44:13] SPEAKER_07: I'm not gonna lie.
[44:14] SPEAKER_07: It got to a point where it's like when I was in the streets and I'm doing certain shit, it was to be I told my mom this.
[44:20] SPEAKER_07: I'm like, man, I'm I'm gonna have to clap this nigga or something.
[44:26] SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna let this nigga just do whatever.
[44:30] SPEAKER_07: Because I know what my pop, like he wasn't no super street nigga, but he meant what he, you see what I'm saying?
[44:35] SPEAKER_07: Like I knew for a fact my pops, he wasn't going for none of that shit.
[44:38] SPEAKER_07: So it's like I knew what he was capable of, and I'm outside doing my own shit.
[44:43] SPEAKER_07: I know what I'm capable of, so it's like I was afraid of my pops in that way.
[44:46] SPEAKER_07: Where it's like, and you know what he meant, what he said.
[44:50] SPEAKER_08: Looking back, do you think that he was right about the met his method?
[44:54] SPEAKER_07: Yes, I do, because it kept me out of a lot of shit.
[44:58] SPEAKER_07: It kept me out of shit.
[44:59] SPEAKER_07: Don't get me wrong, I got in a hell of a lot of trouble, but it kept me out of a lot of people.
[45:04] SPEAKER_07: They gave you a moral compass like you did.
[45:06] SPEAKER_07: You knew how to weigh out the options and where you were.
[45:08] SPEAKER_07: I knew how to like not be dumb enough to act off of emotion.
[45:12] SPEAKER_07: Like all my homies who went to jail for 10 years, 15 years, they did stupid shit right on the spot.
[45:18] SPEAKER_07: And that's think about it, nothing.
[45:20] SPEAKER_03: That fear your father and the missus doing shit like that.
[45:22] SPEAKER_07: I hold on.
[45:23] SPEAKER_03: I gotta I gotta make sure because I go home and get in trouble for this one, it's lit at home.
[45:28] SPEAKER_07: Well, that's why I was charismatic too.
[45:30] SPEAKER_07: I used to know how to get out of situations too, because I didn't want my pops to find out.
[45:34] SPEAKER_06: And that's the guidance.
[45:36] SPEAKER_06: Because really, all you could do is guide them.
[45:39] SPEAKER_06: And then when they go outside to the world, once you walk out the door and you in the streets in Iraq, it's you outside.
[45:45] SPEAKER_06: He can't, he can't protect you from that.
[45:47] SPEAKER_06: He can't all he could do is teach you how, when you out there to be yourself and know how to, that's the guidance.
[45:53] SPEAKER_07: I used to definitely, I used to, up until I really damn near became an adult, like all through like middle school, high school, I was still scared of what my pops gonna do to me when I get home.
[46:03] SPEAKER_07: So it kind of really kept me safe.
[46:05] SPEAKER_07: It kept you in a shit.
[46:06] SPEAKER_07: Kept me out of a lot of shit, like certain parameters.
[46:08] SPEAKER_07: Don't get me wrong, I did a lot of shit, but I still always kept in the back of my mind like my pops.
[46:13] SPEAKER_07: For real.
[46:14] SPEAKER_07: That is that is.
[46:15] SPEAKER_03: I wish I wish I had had that feeling of feeling like my pop, I was gonna be able to do it.
[46:20] SPEAKER_08: Me too, me too, though.
[46:21] SPEAKER_08: My pops being like, I knew I couldn't beat him in a fight, so it was like, what the fuck are we doing?
[46:25] SPEAKER_08: But the result of that, the result of not having that is a nigga like getting going.
[46:31] SPEAKER_08: I sh I shot my friend when I was 14, in and out of Spa Fit, very juvenile, it's just different.
[46:37] SPEAKER_08: Like you got no regard for home, nothing.
[46:39] SPEAKER_08: You got a little guard, like this is like yo, they couldn't tell me enough.
[46:43] SPEAKER_08: All the way in the street, 13, 14, you already outside.
[46:46] SPEAKER_08: So what I'm saying is that's the re that's the result.
[46:49] SPEAKER_08: It's either you got that fear, or or you don't have no fear.
[46:53] SPEAKER_08: When you don't got no fear, you don't got like I it's 12 years old.
[46:57] SPEAKER_08: We stand out all night doing shit like you don't have no parameters.
[47:03] SPEAKER_07: I ain't had that.
[47:04] SPEAKER_07: I was mischievous.
[47:05] SPEAKER_07: I used to have the ladder stay out.
[47:06] SPEAKER_07: Like I had to say I'm at my cousin's house, my man's crib, then I'm out on the block with the guys and shit.
[47:12] SPEAKER_07: But like, I ain't had when I went if I had to be at home with my moms and pops, I had a curfew up until I was at least 15, 16.
[47:19] SPEAKER_07: When I started making my own money though, that's when I started doing my own shit.
[47:22] SPEAKER_07: Like when I had my own money, I went and got my own crib, 16, 17.
[47:26] SPEAKER_07: I was out the house.
[47:27] SPEAKER_07: Like, wasn't living with them no more.
[47:28] SPEAKER_07: That's real, man.
[47:29] SPEAKER_07: Up until then, that's real.
[47:30] SPEAKER_07: I was I couldn't put I knew I couldn't play with my pops, so it's like what I'm gonna do.
[47:34] SPEAKER_06: You under their house, they under their rules, guys.
[47:37] SPEAKER_08: So that's why my biggest fear, my biggest fear, when I had when I had a son, was not being here for that was my fear.
[47:48] SPEAKER_08: When I come home, my son three months, I'm like, alright, I gotta figure this shit out.
[47:53] SPEAKER_08: I'm on parole, still got a foot in the street, right?
[47:56] SPEAKER_08: I'm on like I'm trying to figure out this rap shit.
[48:00] SPEAKER_08: My biggest issue, my biggest fear was saying, like, am I gonna die on him?
[48:03] SPEAKER_08: Am I gonna go back to jail?
[48:05] SPEAKER_08: Like, those things is what I feared because like I can't leave him out here alone to try to figure this out.
[48:11] SPEAKER_08: 100% and do the same shit that you go.
[48:16] SPEAKER_08: That shit is very a very scary fit.
[48:18] SPEAKER_08: I should vicariously you start to move different when you have a child and you outside.
[48:23] SPEAKER_08: Like, you you you want to go back to the back.
[48:24] SPEAKER_08: That shit don't apply to everybody though, Jim.
[48:26] SPEAKER_08: Like, you're absolutely right.
[48:28] SPEAKER_08: That's a fact.
[48:28] SPEAKER_08: You got some cold niggas out there that shit don't have you nothing.
[48:32] SPEAKER_08: But we ain't dumb.
[48:33] SPEAKER_08: But I grew up with a family that was had a real morning.
[48:35] SPEAKER_08: But you see the difference and religious and and God fearing, so it was different from you, you know what I mean?
[48:40] SPEAKER_08: Like it wasn't like I just had a well, you see the difference, and look at our kids knowing that we was in our life in their lives their whole life.
[48:48] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, right?
[48:49] SPEAKER_08: Puty.
[48:50] SPEAKER_08: You see, he's in the house with you.
[48:52] SPEAKER_08: Bro, you know what the funny shit is today?
[48:54] SPEAKER_08: Not to say nothing like that, but it made me feel good, but I'm like, damn.
[48:57] SPEAKER_08: So we just was shopping for the store earlier, and we rolled by a whole big thing of tang.
[49:03] SPEAKER_08: Remember Tang?
[49:04] SPEAKER_08: Of course I remember Tang.
[49:05] SPEAKER_08: I like Why would you say pause though?
[49:07] SPEAKER_03: Um I don't like how Tang sounds, but But the little nigga don't even know what Tang is.
[49:14] SPEAKER_03: You heard?
[49:14] SPEAKER_03: Like, of course he is.
[49:15] SPEAKER_03: I was part of it, but it made me feel good.
[49:17] SPEAKER_03: He like, what the fuck is this?
[49:18] SPEAKER_03: You talking about like nigga, this is a real part of the diet coming up.
[49:21] SPEAKER_03: Like, this is a real situation right here.
[49:24] SPEAKER_03: But it's like, yo, bro, this to be able to raise him.
[49:33] SPEAKER_08: To be able to do with your son, that's the illest shit for me.
[49:36] SPEAKER_08: No, for sure.
[49:37] SPEAKER_07: I try to mimic the shit I did do with my father with my son.
[49:42] SPEAKER_07: Like he used to spend a lot of time with me and just take me places.
[49:44] SPEAKER_07: So I try to do that shit.
[49:46] SPEAKER_07: Like, I never heard my mom to tell you, like, I swear to God, still to this day.
[49:50] SPEAKER_07: She brag on it like I never heard no from my pops ever.
[49:53] SPEAKER_07: Like, used to try to figure that shit out, whatever it was.
[49:56] SPEAKER_07: Like, so I'll just be like that with my kids.
[49:58] SPEAKER_07: People be saying, like, oh, your kids just spoil, they get like I just I don't know how to tell them no.
[50:04] SPEAKER_07: Shit, my pops never told me no.
[50:05] SPEAKER_03: We all know that feeling.
[50:06] SPEAKER_03: Right, word.
[50:07] SPEAKER_03: That's why they be walking on this jail.
[50:09] SPEAKER_03: You heard that?
[50:10] SPEAKER_08: That's somebody that don't open it up in that bathroom now.
[50:14] SPEAKER_03: They just get too spoiled and they feel like just think it's they just think they you're equal at a certain point.
[50:20] SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
[50:21] SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
[50:23] SPEAKER_07: That shit hard though, bro.
[50:25] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[50:25] SPEAKER_03: But it's a great feeling, man.
[50:26] SPEAKER_03: It is a great feeling to take care of take care of your kids and not have to worry about too much, and they could get everything that we didn't have access to and shit like that.
[50:35] SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
[50:36] SPEAKER_08: So it's like.
[50:39] SPEAKER_08: Yo, listen, if you're into sneakers, streetwear, or getting your hands on the latest drops, then you already know about StockX.

[51:40] SPEAKER_08: I need something different.
[51:41] SPEAKER_08: I need some like Givenchy, some, you know, some product glasses, some shades, some clear lenses.
[51:47] SPEAKER_08: If that comes up, I'm definitely paying attention.

[52:11] SPEAKER_08: I'm not gonna lie, I've got some pairs sitting in my closet I haven't touched in years.
[52:15] SPEAKER_08: I could let go of my cool grays and put that toward some true blues.
[52:20] SPEAKER_06: That's the move.
[52:21] SPEAKER_06: One pair out, another pair in.
[52:23] SPEAKER_06: I know everybody listening has something sitting in their closet right now that they forgot they even own.

[52:43] SPEAKER_08: Well, I'm going straight for the sneaker box.
[52:45] SPEAKER_08: If I pull some Jordan ones, it's over.
[52:47] SPEAKER_08: That's an instant win for me.
[52:48] SPEAKER_06: I might have to try the collectibles box.
[52:51] SPEAKER_06: If I pull I don't know, like one of them big horse dolls.
[52:59] SPEAKER_06: I'm telling everybody about it.
[53:00] SPEAKER_06: Like that's where I got it from.
[53:02] SPEAKER_08: And the best part is if you get something you don't want, you can sell it back to stock X.
[53:09] SPEAKER_08: So you've got another way to go after something you actually want.

[53:31] SPEAKER_08: We just put you on StockX.
[53:34] SPEAKER_08: Now you know.
[53:38] SPEAKER_06: On the flip side of that though, what you saying, do you feel like your kids is not living on the side of we that we we know the world?
[53:49] SPEAKER_06: That's what I'm scared of.
[53:50] SPEAKER_06: We know, you know what I mean?
[53:51] SPEAKER_06: We know how even sometimes, like it's a it's a it's a cold world in a sense, you know what I'm saying?
[53:58] SPEAKER_06: They are living a much different lifestyle.
[54:01] SPEAKER_06: They they may not be able to.
[54:03] SPEAKER_06: So that'd be like I don't know if that's what they call it, like survivor's remorse or something.
[54:08] SPEAKER_06: Like I don't know if that's that, like you we thinking for them, saying, like, yo, man, you might they might really not have to go through the stuff that we went through.
[54:17] SPEAKER_06: This is what we scared that they not gonna be prepared for it because of the life that they live.
[54:24] SPEAKER_07: They can have it.
[54:25] SPEAKER_07: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[54:26] SPEAKER_07: You never know.
[54:27] SPEAKER_07: You feel me?
[54:27] SPEAKER_07: Like, you never know what way they might have to think their way out of a situation.
[54:31] SPEAKER_07: So you gotta instill it in them just.
[54:33] SPEAKER_07: As much as you can.
[54:34] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, to to to be strategic, to think, to, you know what I'm saying, always be able to outthink your your audience or your opponent situation.
[54:44] SPEAKER_07: You know what I'm saying?
[54:44] SPEAKER_07: Like, to always know that the world is not gonna be as forgiving and as same as your parents.
[54:52] SPEAKER_07: You know what I'm saying?
[54:52] SPEAKER_08: There's no room for error.
[54:54] SPEAKER_08: I think our era growing up understood that more.
[54:58] SPEAKER_08: Because our parents was putting us on a train when we was 10 years old.
[55:01] SPEAKER_08: We had to learn more things.
[55:03] SPEAKER_08: We had to learn survival faster at an early at an early life.
[55:08] SPEAKER_08: And I think that traumatized us to the point where it was like, when we got kids, it was like, oh, I don't want you taking the train.
[55:14] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I don't want you out there like Yeah, because we was in a situation, but if we was still in the situation we grew up when they would have to.
[55:21] SPEAKER_08: They would have to.
[55:22] SPEAKER_03: They would have to.
[55:24] SPEAKER_08: That's why we're working so hard.
[55:25] SPEAKER_08: We work hard so they can have to.
[55:29] SPEAKER_08: But it also, in a way, kind of handicapped them a certain kind of way because it's like just the bearers being able to travel and navigate through the city a little bit on their own, is like, Zane, you know how to get but if these kids didn't grow up in the city, then why would they that that that's not their city to where they know man?
[55:46] SPEAKER_08: Like you think?
[55:47] SPEAKER_08: Like I did, he's he grew up in Jersey, he needed to know how to navigate Jersey, but he does pretty bad.
[55:53] SPEAKER_08: So it's different, but it's like we grew up in the city, so we had to learn how to navigate in the city.
[55:59] SPEAKER_08: It was a different time too, man.
[56:00] SPEAKER_07: It was way different times.
[56:03] SPEAKER_03: Parents ain't have shit.
[56:04] SPEAKER_07: People was outside a lot more, it was a lot more ruthless, like you feel what I'm saying.
[56:08] SPEAKER_07: Like my son, like I said, he eight, he about to be nine.
[56:11] SPEAKER_07: Next year, like I had already seen somebody get killed.
[56:14] SPEAKER_07: Like I already seen a nigga die already at nine years old.
[56:17] SPEAKER_07: My son don't never even have to imagine no shit like that.
[56:20] SPEAKER_07: You feel what I'm saying?
[56:20] SPEAKER_07: So it's like we they we definitely growing up totally different.
[56:23] SPEAKER_07: It's like I'm still, I'm, I'm like, I had him, I was a grown adult, of course, but it's like I'm still growing up with my son too, though.
[56:33] SPEAKER_07: You see what I'm saying?
[56:33] SPEAKER_07: Like it's a lot.
[56:34] SPEAKER_07: I'm still learning as a father.
[56:36] SPEAKER_07: Like, you know, I don't got to do that.
[56:37] SPEAKER_08: I think you never stop learning though.
[56:39] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[56:39] SPEAKER_08: I don't think you ever stop learning because there's no booklet on parenthood that really shows it, like, we we living as we going, especially.
[56:51] SPEAKER_08: It ain't no real way, you know what I mean?
[56:52] SPEAKER_08: We doing this shit as we go.
[56:54] SPEAKER_08: We learning as we, you know.
[56:55] SPEAKER_06: What about culturally?
[56:57] SPEAKER_06: Like, I feel like our culture too, there's a part of it that's real um divisive, like it's real split.
[57:03] SPEAKER_06: Like, it's always people on the internet against each other, black people versus black people.
[57:08] SPEAKER_06: Do you think our kids is gonna get that side of it from seeing it on the internet or seeing, you know what I mean?
[57:16] SPEAKER_06: Like, we not we a culture that we do celebrate each other, but we you gotta admit we everybody at each other a little bit.
[57:24] SPEAKER_06: Every day somebody talking about what somebody did.
[57:26] SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna be honest, we tell each other that I'm really I'm kind of scared for the younger generation.
[57:30] SPEAKER_07: I think it's only gonna get worse.
[57:32] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
[57:32] SPEAKER_08: In fact, it it will.
[57:34] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, because every day is somebody talking about what somebody even in your comments, everything when somebody posts something, it's people in there talking bad about it more.
[57:42] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[57:44] SPEAKER_07: It's rare that you ever see anybody uplift niggas anymore.
[57:49] SPEAKER_07: Complimenting people was a thing in the past.
[57:51] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, right, right.
[57:53] SPEAKER_08: The idea is to point out flaws in you.
[57:55] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, that's the thing.
[57:56] SPEAKER_08: Even even even if I'm not doing good and I live in a in a shack, to make me feel better, I need to get on the internet and talk about what you got on or whatever else.
[58:05] SPEAKER_08: That scares me though for the kids.
[58:07] SPEAKER_06: Because they're gonna have to realize that that's always gonna be a thing.
[58:11] SPEAKER_06: The confidence is gonna have to be past what they say in the comments.
[58:15] SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
[58:16] SPEAKER_06: The confidence gotta be stronger than what they say in the comments.
[58:19] SPEAKER_06: Because they're gonna go at you as well.
[58:21] SPEAKER_06: Especially if you somebody's son or you somebody, you know what I mean?
[58:24] SPEAKER_06: Like the comments is the most ruthless, heartless place you could be.
[58:27] SPEAKER_08: Say that again?
[58:28] SPEAKER_06: What?
[58:29] SPEAKER_08: Your confidence, what?
[58:30] SPEAKER_06: Oh, your confidence gotta be stronger than the comments.
[58:33] SPEAKER_06: I like that.
[58:34] SPEAKER_06: I think that too.
[58:35] SPEAKER_06: I told somebody today, too, because I had a real conversation today, and I was like, it's the same thing I feel about when people give you compliments.
[58:43] SPEAKER_06: Like you can't hang on them.
[58:44] SPEAKER_06: You could appreciate them, and you should, you know what I mean?
[58:47] SPEAKER_06: Thank you for the love and all that.
[58:48] SPEAKER_06: But when they go at you, if you let the compliments put you over here, when they not compliment you no more, then you're gonna not feel like yourself no more.
[58:56] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you gotta be yourself whether they complimenting or hating.
[58:59] SPEAKER_06: Like, you know what I mean?
[59:00] SPEAKER_06: Like, yeah, fuck y'all, I'm me.
[59:02] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[59:03] SPEAKER_06: Nah, that shit would be crazy.
[59:05] SPEAKER_08: There'd be people that I thought that genuinely I fuck with, and then you see on the gram somebody else puts some shit up about you, and then they like you.
[59:14] SPEAKER_04: You see, they they pop up with a like, you like, oh, I like that's what it all, that's how you feel about me.
[59:19] SPEAKER_04: Okay, cool.
[59:20] SPEAKER_04: Like, that's crazy.
[59:20] SPEAKER_04: You like that, but I'm gonna do it.
[59:21] SPEAKER_08: What if the likelihood mistake?
[59:25] SPEAKER_03: You think about it, man.
[59:27] SPEAKER_03: How likely is that?
[59:28] SPEAKER_07: Then it comes, then it won't.
[59:38] SPEAKER_03: How did they get this?
[59:41] SPEAKER_03: So funny.
[59:42] SPEAKER_03: But it be shit like that.
[59:43] SPEAKER_03: Like, oh, that's crazy.
[59:44] SPEAKER_03: Like that, like, oh I got it.
[59:46] SPEAKER_03: And then you gotta see them again.
[59:47] SPEAKER_03: It's like do you ask me why you like that?
[1:00:02] SPEAKER_07: You heard you what?
[1:00:03] SPEAKER_07: We gotta wait on the nigga slip up again and see if they're gonna do some other shit.
[1:00:07] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but how you on my radar?
[1:00:08] SPEAKER_07: You know, yeah, you get shit loaded.
[1:00:11] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, just know it.
[1:00:12] SPEAKER_08: Snow this shit loaded for sure.
[1:00:15] SPEAKER_08: I wrote that down.
[1:00:17] SPEAKER_08: My little book.
[1:00:17] SPEAKER_08: You heard?
[1:00:18] SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, this is my little booklet.
[1:00:19] SPEAKER_03: It's a list.
[1:00:20] SPEAKER_03: You got a list of you can do it.
[1:00:22] SPEAKER_06: I got an FBI files on my shit.
[1:00:26] SPEAKER_06: Files.
[1:00:26] SPEAKER_06: I'm a Scorpio.
[1:00:28] SPEAKER_06: I got this file.
[1:00:28] SPEAKER_04: Like, you know the nigga right here, like pulling bitches back all the way up.
[1:00:32] SPEAKER_04: I got because niggas are slick, they're trying to circle back three and a half years later, like like, dude, you gotta keep a 20.
[1:00:39] SPEAKER_04: Oh no, 24 pounds.
[1:00:41] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[1:00:41] SPEAKER_04: Oh no, this shit for life, nigga.
[1:00:43] SPEAKER_03: No time pulling bitch up.
[1:00:44] SPEAKER_03: Don't think you would come back four years later, dog.
[1:00:48] SPEAKER_08: He like this nigga right here likes some shit in 1812.
[1:00:52] SPEAKER_03: You were the mother.
[1:00:53] SPEAKER_03: You'll still remember that shit too much.

[1:00:55] SPEAKER_08: This nigga put a funny emoji.
[1:00:57] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[1:00:57] SPEAKER_08: Like some shit.

[1:01:06] SPEAKER_08: I'm a joke.
[1:01:06] SPEAKER_07: But you gotta think how many people really do fuck shit, and it's just they like it's second nature to them that they really probably won't even remember they did some shit and try to come back around like it's all up.
[1:01:18] SPEAKER_07: Probably said something or been around the wrong person or been in an environment where you know you around a bunch of people, like, say for instance, you don't really know me and Jim from a can of paint, but you know me from around the way you seen me, we didn't rub hands, and then you see me and Jim with a bunch of niggas that you know we know blatantly don't fuck with you, hate you, and we it's like we really bonding with them and we cooling with them, and then down the line, we think it's okay to just come fuck with you and we want you to not like act like it never happened.
[1:01:48] SPEAKER_07: No, sir.
[1:01:49] SPEAKER_07: No, you don't want to.
[1:01:50] SPEAKER_07: People have that though.
[1:01:52] SPEAKER_07: People really feel like it's okay to do that.
[1:01:53] SPEAKER_07: No, you know why?
[1:01:54] SPEAKER_07: Because they be like, it's just the internet.
[1:01:56] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but I hate.
[1:01:58] SPEAKER_07: It's just social media.
[1:02:00] SPEAKER_08: I gotta go from a reality.
[1:02:01] SPEAKER_08: I got a list of those nights.
[1:02:03] SPEAKER_04: I got a list of those niggas right now, present day.
[1:02:06] SPEAKER_04: You heard?
[1:02:07] SPEAKER_04: I got a wrinkled shirt list.
[1:02:09] SPEAKER_04: What?
[1:02:09] SPEAKER_04: Say what?
[1:02:11] SPEAKER_06: You got a what, sir?
[1:02:12] SPEAKER_06: List of what?
[1:02:13] SPEAKER_06: A list of niggas who need their shirt wrinkled.
[1:02:15] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, oh yeah.
[1:02:16] SPEAKER_08: You you wrinkled up.
[1:02:18] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, you gotta chill out.
[1:02:19] SPEAKER_08: We brand safe, my nigga.
[1:02:20] SPEAKER_08: You're right.
[1:02:20] SPEAKER_08: We talked about this.
[1:02:21] SPEAKER_04: You're right.
[1:02:21] SPEAKER_04: But a wrinkled shirt is safe.
[1:02:23] SPEAKER_08: I understand, but a wrinkled shirt is still, you know, because once you go there, I gotta go.
[1:02:28] SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
[1:02:28] SPEAKER_04: And I'm trying to be more brand safe.
[1:02:32] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like having brand safe contests.
[1:02:34] SPEAKER_07: But that makes me kind of go back on what I said earlier.
[1:02:37] SPEAKER_07: Cause I do too, though.
[1:02:38] SPEAKER_07: Like, and I I I be kind of like, in a way, I be praying that, like, man, God just keep me.
[1:02:45] SPEAKER_07: I don't even want them running to certain niggas.
[1:02:47] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, because when it's certain niggas I see them, I can't get what I'm gonna do is not get it pass.
[1:02:53] SPEAKER_07: No matter what.
[1:02:54] SPEAKER_07: They literally got handed for that nigga.
[1:02:55] SPEAKER_07: Let me tell you, let me tell you something.
[1:02:57] SPEAKER_03: How do you handle it?
[1:02:58] SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you something.
[1:02:59] SPEAKER_03: How do you handle this?
[1:03:00] SPEAKER_00: Certain niggas on everything I love, yeah.
[1:03:04] SPEAKER_00: Cannot get it past.
[1:03:05] SPEAKER_00: Okay, but wait, no, if you see them in a public setting.
[1:03:08] SPEAKER_08: No, I I hope not.
[1:03:09] SPEAKER_08: It's like what he said.
[1:03:09] SPEAKER_08: I don't want to.
[1:03:10] SPEAKER_08: I don't want to kind of see you.
[1:03:11] SPEAKER_06: Because if I see, I don't give a progress that keep going in different ways.
[1:03:17] SPEAKER_08: I don't even want to be in all bets are off wherever you see them.
[1:03:20] SPEAKER_08: 1,000%.
[1:03:21] SPEAKER_08: You know what I want for him?
[1:03:22] SPEAKER_08: I want because I feel like life will do niggas way worse than I can ever do.
[1:03:26] SPEAKER_08: So do you weigh the option of what you got going on in life to to what you want to do to that person at that point in time?
[1:03:32] SPEAKER_08: No, I just want to say I don't even want to.
[1:03:34] SPEAKER_07: That's what I'm saying.
[1:03:34] SPEAKER_07: There's certain people where if I see them, everything that I have going on in life really goes out of the window.
[1:03:40] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I don't want to say I'm doing something to you.
[1:03:43] SPEAKER_07: 1000%.
[1:03:44] SPEAKER_07: That's it.
[1:03:44] SPEAKER_07: I don't do that.
[1:03:44] SPEAKER_07: Million percent I'm doing something.
[1:03:45] SPEAKER_07: Because I don't, I don't see it.
[1:03:47] SPEAKER_07: I'd rather not even run.
[1:03:49] SPEAKER_07: Leave it alone.
[1:03:50] SPEAKER_07: No matter where I'm at, who I'm with, I don't give a fuck who I'm with.
[1:03:53] SPEAKER_07: We let God deal with you.
[1:03:54] SPEAKER_07: We let Carmo Universe deal with you.
[1:03:56] SPEAKER_07: The only way I probably won't do something to a nigga is if literally it's just me and my kids.
[1:04:00] SPEAKER_07: That's the only way that's gonna probably stop me from doing something.
[1:04:02] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, we just gonna leave you to your own devices and let you.
[1:04:06] SPEAKER_07: And it's like you don't want to, you don't want to have in your head, like, oh I I can't wait to see this nigga look.
[1:04:11] SPEAKER_07: No, no, no.
[1:04:12] SPEAKER_07: I don't have that mentality.
[1:04:14] SPEAKER_07: That's different.
[1:04:14] SPEAKER_07: It's just different.
[1:04:15] SPEAKER_07: If I look ever see him, if you look in the turn, you're not looking different.
[1:04:18] SPEAKER_07: You fuck yourself.

[1:04:25] SPEAKER_08: And it's gonna come to you.
[1:04:26] SPEAKER_08: Don't follow your left.
[1:04:26] SPEAKER_08: You keep thinking about like if I see this nigga and then you know what you're gonna do, you're gonna manifest that.
[1:04:31] SPEAKER_08: 1000%.
[1:04:31] SPEAKER_08: That's a few things.
[1:04:32] SPEAKER_06: We just talked about manifestation.
[1:04:34] SPEAKER_08: You'll manifest some bullshit.
[1:04:36] SPEAKER_06: Everything, positive and negative.
[1:04:37] SPEAKER_06: Yes, that's a fact.

[1:04:46] SPEAKER_08: I don't want to fuck up the bag, man.
[1:04:48] SPEAKER_08: It's a good bag going on right now.
[1:04:50] SPEAKER_08: No, for sure.
[1:04:50] SPEAKER_08: You heard like I don't know.
[1:04:52] SPEAKER_08: Says Mr.
[1:04:53] SPEAKER_08: Shirt Wrinkler.
[1:04:54] SPEAKER_08: Shit, man.
[1:04:55] SPEAKER_08: Mr.
[1:04:56] SPEAKER_08: Shirt Wrinkler over there.
[1:04:57] SPEAKER_07: And I be feeling like when you get to a certain point of like peace and elevation, it'd be the devil throwing shit.
[1:05:04] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1:05:05] SPEAKER_08: That's a fact.
[1:05:05] SPEAKER_07: Trying to get you off the street.

[1:05:15] SPEAKER_07: Never.
[1:05:16] SPEAKER_07: Then you would hear it where it's like I'm in California.

[1:12:03] SPEAKER_08: But that's jigging.
[1:12:04] SPEAKER_08: But but that's a thought.
[1:12:05] SPEAKER_04: Giving sex under the false pretense of getting the bag is jigging.
[1:12:09] SPEAKER_04: So you gave you got a little jig in you.
[1:12:11] SPEAKER_08: I do what I gotta do when I got to.
[1:12:12] SPEAKER_08: Okay, so you got a little jig, and you can hear you say I'm a jigger.
[1:12:15] SPEAKER_08: I'm not gonna say that.
[1:12:16] SPEAKER_08: But I'm saying, like, every like it's not every day somebody coming to me saying they got a bug coming.
[1:12:22] SPEAKER_08: But that's jigging.
[1:12:23] SPEAKER_08: But is that not a form of jigging?
[1:12:24] SPEAKER_08: I I don't know.
[1:12:25] SPEAKER_08: You named you made this shit up.
[1:12:27] SPEAKER_08: I'm saying, like, okay, you came to me with this.
[1:12:29] SPEAKER_08: So, so long story short, the email was fake.
[1:12:34] SPEAKER_08: I don't know why she made up this whole elaborate lie to me.
[1:12:37] SPEAKER_08: I don't know why.
[1:12:38] SPEAKER_08: I called the lawyer office and I was like, hey, do you guys do you know sales and lawyers?
[1:12:44] SPEAKER_08: Do you do settlements?
[1:12:45] SPEAKER_08: They like, nah, we we do uh we do uh you know rent court.
[1:12:51] SPEAKER_08: Like if you getting kicked out your apartment court, I'm like, what?
[1:12:55] SPEAKER_08: You do that?
[1:12:57] SPEAKER_03: Damn.
[1:12:58] SPEAKER_08: Like, so when I'm saying, so when you when I see that thing about why do people lie, I I couldn't understand.
[1:13:03] SPEAKER_04: How did you feel when that lawyer when you found out that the hundred mil wasn't going through at that point?
[1:13:08] SPEAKER_04: The jig was up.
[1:13:09] SPEAKER_04: How did you feel?
[1:13:10] SPEAKER_08: I ain't feel no way.
[1:13:11] SPEAKER_08: I just felt like like why you why you made it 100%.
[1:13:15] SPEAKER_08: I'm like, yo, you this is why you sent me this fake law firm?
[1:13:20] SPEAKER_08: Like, why you send me this fake emails?
[1:13:22] SPEAKER_08: This was back in the days?
[1:13:23] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, this is back in the days.
[1:13:27] SPEAKER_02: I don't like how you said this.
[1:13:30] SPEAKER_04: It might have been more recent than back in the day.
[1:13:32] SPEAKER_04: How recent you think it can be?
[1:13:33] SPEAKER_04: Back in the days.
[1:13:34] SPEAKER_04: This is back in the day.
[1:13:35] SPEAKER_04: Alright, we leave it there.
[1:13:36] SPEAKER_04: Let's leave it back in the day.
[1:13:37] SPEAKER_04: Listen back in the day.
[1:13:38] SPEAKER_08: That's what I'm saying.
[1:13:39] SPEAKER_08: My point is, I never can understand why she lied.
[1:13:42] SPEAKER_08: I asked her, I confronted her.
[1:13:43] SPEAKER_08: I said, why the fuck you sent me this?
[1:13:45] SPEAKER_08: Like, why would you do this?
[1:13:47] SPEAKER_00: She's like, I know I know that lawyer all my life.
[1:13:51] SPEAKER_08: That ain't got nothing to do with it.
[1:13:53] SPEAKER_08: But when people when you catch a person in a lie, what I realize is this the first thing they do is lie.
[1:14:00] SPEAKER_08: When you catch them in a lie, they lie.
[1:14:03] SPEAKER_08: They are committed to the lie.
[1:14:06] SPEAKER_08: It don't matter.
[1:14:07] SPEAKER_08: They never gonna have no accountability for it.
[1:14:10] SPEAKER_06: So to answer the question, how you deal with somebody who don't buy out lying what they are.
[1:14:15] SPEAKER_06: You stay fuck away from it.
[1:14:17] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you gotta stay away from it.
[1:14:20] SPEAKER_07: She says, anybody tell you something, believe them.
[1:14:25] SPEAKER_07: You give them you give them you give them that shit.
[1:14:26] SPEAKER_06: They say they're crazy, believe them.
[1:14:28] SPEAKER_06: They tell you this, but if you they you gotta believe them, because if even if they lie, you guys can believe they're a liar.
[1:14:33] SPEAKER_06: They're a liar.
[1:14:34] SPEAKER_06: They're liar.
[1:14:34] SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
[1:14:35] SPEAKER_06: You're not who you are.
[1:14:36] SPEAKER_06: You a liar.
[1:14:37] SPEAKER_06: But why that became a big thing in hip-hop, too, about being uh like as real as you could be.
[1:14:43] SPEAKER_06: I feel like there was a time hip-hop started, let's say, way back, 80s, 70s, whatever.
[1:14:50] SPEAKER_06: Through this transition and evolution, like it started being like you want to be more authentic to who you really are.
[1:14:59] SPEAKER_06: Whereas at the beginning, I felt like you were trying to just be this superhero or artist or anything.
[1:15:06] SPEAKER_06: And then I think over time it got to being, that's how like even artists started just using their real names and stuff like that.
[1:15:14] SPEAKER_06: Like there was a time that wasn't a thing at all.
[1:15:16] SPEAKER_06: That was like forbidden.
[1:15:18] SPEAKER_06: Like you would never go out there and say, Yeah, I'm I'm J.
[1:15:21] SPEAKER_06: Cole or I'm um Kendrick Amara or Red Man, yeah, cool Game.
[1:15:25] SPEAKER_06: Everything has what's like it's it was a so over time it started being like you want to be as true to yourself as you want to be.
[1:15:33] SPEAKER_06: So that's a that's even down to like lying about your identity in a sense, like people who even like I just said the internet, like a lot of people just because it's really you just telling what you want to tell, want people to know about you.
[1:15:46] SPEAKER_06: How important is like your identity?
[1:15:48] SPEAKER_06: Is lying, how do you deal with people that lie about their identity?
[1:15:51] SPEAKER_04: Bro, we know I don't even know what Big Daddy Kane's name is right now.
[1:15:54] SPEAKER_04: That's crazy, right?
[1:15:55] SPEAKER_04: Like, they it wasn't on no names.
[1:15:57] SPEAKER_04: Like, what's what's Big Daddy Kane's name?
[1:15:59] SPEAKER_04: Like Tony.
[1:16:00] SPEAKER_04: Like, what was Heavy D name?
[1:16:01] SPEAKER_04: Like, we niggas didn't even know none of these niggas' names.
[1:16:04] SPEAKER_04: And it wasn't no internet that we could go to.
[1:16:05] SPEAKER_04: It was just this nigga named Heavy D forever, you heard?
[1:16:09] SPEAKER_07: Like when people lie about their identity, especially with the internet, it's like you you you able to only post the good.
[1:16:19] SPEAKER_07: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[1:16:20] SPEAKER_07: Nobody's really gonna post that they bank account low.
[1:16:24] SPEAKER_07: They're not gonna post that they're getting evicted from their career, you know what I'm saying?
[1:16:27] SPEAKER_07: They only gonna post the things that they want you to see or believe about them.
[1:16:31] SPEAKER_07: So it's like it's really is like uh like a matrix in a sense.
[1:16:37] SPEAKER_08: It is a matrix, and it gets you, it's this false sense of of like of success.
[1:16:43] SPEAKER_08: You could be whoever you want to be.
[1:16:46] SPEAKER_06: Your identity on social media could be completely different.
[1:16:49] SPEAKER_06: It usually is.
[1:16:53] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, the law of like I'm successful, I'm I'm lit, I'm doing these.
[1:16:58] SPEAKER_08: Everybody wants to present it.
[1:17:00] SPEAKER_08: Because that's what everybody's trying to attract.
[1:17:01] SPEAKER_08: Everybody's trying to sell it, trying to attract that same type of energy of they got money and all that type of shit.
[1:17:07] SPEAKER_08: Somebody told me some shit, right?
[1:17:08] SPEAKER_07: He was dealing with this chick, and she had a uh like uh a new car, like with a bow on it, like Louis bags and shit in it, like like a nigga here got her some for her birthday, like bought the car.
[1:17:22] SPEAKER_07: She bought the car for herself, put the bowls, it made it seem like somebody got it for for a birthday.
[1:17:30] SPEAKER_07: It's crazy.
[1:17:30] SPEAKER_07: The Louis boxes and bags, all that shit was crazy.
[1:17:32] SPEAKER_07: Crazy.
[1:17:33] SPEAKER_08: She ain't got enough self-esteem to say this was her, this she bossed up and brought herself this shit.
[1:17:38] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, that esteem is crazy too.
[1:17:40] SPEAKER_08: That's another thing.
[1:17:41] SPEAKER_08: Like, yeah, like bitch, you just bossed up, brought yourself the car, the bag, but you want to put it on and make it seem like you're gonna make like somebody's doing that for her.
[1:17:48] SPEAKER_06: What even projected that this is what you gotta do for her?
[1:17:51] SPEAKER_06: So it'd be a whole little like you ever see girls' pages and it's all trips, like you don't live no regular day shit or nothing.
[1:17:59] SPEAKER_06: Do you drop the kids off to school, bitch?
[1:18:01] SPEAKER_04: Like we do anything, bitch.
[1:18:03] SPEAKER_04: But yeah, besides Dubai.
[1:18:04] SPEAKER_08: No bullshit.
[1:18:05] SPEAKER_08: You gotta you just live home.
[1:18:07] SPEAKER_08: Like that's what they got.
[1:18:08] SPEAKER_03: Don't Julio, every picture is a vacation in Don Julio, every picture.
[1:18:12] SPEAKER_03: Do you got kids?
[1:18:12] SPEAKER_08: Do you got a kitchen?
[1:18:13] SPEAKER_08: Do you know how to cook?
[1:18:15] SPEAKER_08: Where's regular life?
[1:18:16] SPEAKER_08: Where's no re li?
[1:18:16] SPEAKER_08: But right, everybody wants to present this this this cyber life, this, this, this identity, this, this facade.
[1:18:24] SPEAKER_08: It's not real, man.
[1:18:26] SPEAKER_08: It ain't real.
[1:18:27] SPEAKER_08: It's not real.
[1:18:27] SPEAKER_08: I think, like you said earlier, I think it's gonna get worse.
[1:18:29] SPEAKER_07: It's gonna it's definitely 100%.
[1:18:31] SPEAKER_07: It's gonna get worse.
[1:18:31] SPEAKER_08: I don't think it's gonna get better.
[1:18:33] SPEAKER_08: But if the pressure that it puts on kids though, to feel like they gotta look a certain type of way.
[1:18:38] SPEAKER_08: That's the scary thing.
[1:18:39] SPEAKER_08: They gotta be, they gotta get it.
[1:18:40] SPEAKER_08: They gotta grow up in it.
[1:18:41] SPEAKER_08: They gotta grow up.
[1:18:42] SPEAKER_08: Bro, you see all this.
[1:18:44] SPEAKER_08: They don't even have it.
[1:18:48] SPEAKER_04: Fake Louie bags, fake Gucci bags.
[1:18:50] SPEAKER_04: Like you see, that's that was going all over the gram.
[1:18:53] SPEAKER_04: The shit when the kids went back.
[1:18:54] SPEAKER_04: They all got on fake goalyards.
[1:18:56] SPEAKER_04: So it's the pressure is there.
[1:18:58] SPEAKER_07: The pressure is there.
[1:18:59] SPEAKER_07: Like now they want to go to school.
[1:19:00] SPEAKER_07: Go-yard book bags to go to school.
[1:19:03] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I seen all that shit.
[1:19:05] SPEAKER_07: That's crazy.
[1:19:05] SPEAKER_08: That's crazy.
[1:19:06] SPEAKER_08: For sure.
[1:19:07] SPEAKER_08: That's pressure, though.
[1:19:08] SPEAKER_08: And but then now they sound like these kids, they they they having like anxiety now, and you know, and they depressed now early on.
[1:19:16] SPEAKER_08: They nine, ten years old, depressed.
[1:19:18] SPEAKER_08: A lot of that is to do with social media, the pressure that they gotta look a certain kind of way, have certain things.
[1:19:27] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, what's this black truck shit about?
[1:19:29] SPEAKER_07: Like what?
[1:19:31] SPEAKER_08: Yo, what I gotta get you a black truck.
[1:19:34] SPEAKER_08: It's a oh yo.

[1:19:39] SPEAKER_06: Nah, it's tons and and you gotta have.
[1:19:42] SPEAKER_06: These went from going to limos and shit.
[1:19:44] SPEAKER_06: He and nigga gotta bring it up.
[1:19:45] SPEAKER_08: Prom is going crazy.
[1:19:46] SPEAKER_08: Prom is going crazy.
[1:19:49] SPEAKER_08: Nigga got his father's stash with bow money in the room.
[1:19:51] SPEAKER_05: Yeah, he got bow money in him.
[1:19:52] SPEAKER_05: You like, yo, straight drug money.
[1:19:55] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, black truck, the stacks of money.
[1:19:59] SPEAKER_08: That's what's social media.
[1:20:01] SPEAKER_08: The young kids' birthdays and celebrations, Hermes bags, the Louis bags.
[1:20:06] SPEAKER_04: Backing out knots, like eight kids got big knots.
[1:20:09] SPEAKER_06: I think you're gonna have to talk to them about the difference of that.
[1:20:12] SPEAKER_06: You do.
[1:20:12] SPEAKER_06: Like this is this is social media world, and this is the real world.
[1:20:16] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
[1:20:17] SPEAKER_06: Because if they don't have a separation or something that or someone to tell them that this is two different worlds, you could be aspiring to be somebody who ain't even living their real life on here.
[1:20:28] SPEAKER_07: Lately, we I'm like, we've been having to take like my son's phone, like my older son.
[1:20:32] SPEAKER_07: I've been taking shit for like two weeks, three weeks.
[1:20:34] SPEAKER_07: Like his mom, his grandma, they like, yeah, enough of this shit for you.
[1:20:38] SPEAKER_07: You gotta have a no phone for two weeks to just be a regular kid.
[1:20:41] SPEAKER_07: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[1:20:42] SPEAKER_04: Because they lose that.
[1:20:43] SPEAKER_04: They lose the childhood because of the phone.
[1:20:45] SPEAKER_04: They so their phone is everything.
[1:20:47] SPEAKER_04: Like, they don't even want to go outside, they don't want to play tag, football, not doing it.
[1:20:51] SPEAKER_03: Olivia, they didn't even want to play basketball no more.
[1:20:54] SPEAKER_03: Like, this shit is crazy, bro.
[1:20:55] SPEAKER_06: You also could get attacked on social media through anything.
[1:20:58] SPEAKER_06: So I seen this week too, like, they was attacking um certain like women or older women because they like you might have not seen them, and then you seen them, they're like, oh, damn, that's crazy.
[1:21:10] SPEAKER_06: Like, you know, the comments go crazy on them.
[1:21:12] SPEAKER_06: I think it was um Jasmine Guy from Different World.
[1:21:17] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, they tried to do that.
[1:21:18] SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
[1:21:19] SPEAKER_06: So social media work in in that way too.
[1:21:22] SPEAKER_06: So that also could hinder how like people want to share stuff or how people want to be true to themselves.
[1:21:29] SPEAKER_06: Right.
[1:21:29] SPEAKER_06: Because they know that yo, they gonna go crazy on me in the comments, so I don't wanna, you know what I'm saying?
[1:21:33] SPEAKER_06: Do you feel about that with with even just growing old or like just you know what I'm saying, being yourself and being who you is on the online.
[1:21:42] SPEAKER_07: Man, that key word, like we all just been saying, is confidence, bro.
[1:21:46] SPEAKER_07: You know, like you got people that when they go on a page and post, they already restrict certain words and certain things you can't comment on them.
[1:21:54] SPEAKER_07: They're blocking certain words, certain, cause they already anticipating the negativity.
[1:21:59] SPEAKER_07: They feed into that.
[1:22:00] SPEAKER_07: So they trying to push the algorithm for you to see them doing certain things or living a certain lifestyle, and any flaw that they see in themselves, they already fly.
[1:22:10] SPEAKER_07: So you can restrict that?
[1:22:10] SPEAKER_07: I didn't even know you could do that.
[1:22:14] SPEAKER_07: You take a picture, you a girl, and you got on open toes, but you know your feet are good.
[1:22:18] SPEAKER_07: You could not let them be able to do it.
[1:22:20] SPEAKER_06: Yeah, they can't say toes.
[1:22:22] SPEAKER_06: So I can take out the word leg.
[1:22:24] SPEAKER_04: I can take out the word legs.
[1:22:25] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.

[1:22:29] SPEAKER_04: Oh, your ass is cooked now.
[1:22:30] SPEAKER_04: All the leg jokes out the window.
[1:22:35] SPEAKER_07: You could take certain shit out the shit where they can dominate on your page.
[1:22:39] SPEAKER_04: So you want to take out prostitute?
[1:22:41] SPEAKER_07: What?
[1:22:42] SPEAKER_04: My bad.
[1:22:42] SPEAKER_08: Why would I why why would I do that?
[1:22:44] SPEAKER_04: Oh, you need that word.
[1:22:45] SPEAKER_08: That's a that's a that's a pro that's a I don't want to, I don't want to take out no word.
[1:22:48] SPEAKER_08: I wanna, I wanna, I wanna know how they feel.
[1:22:50] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, whatever.
[1:22:52] SPEAKER_08: I'm I'm cool.
[1:22:53] SPEAKER_08: My confidence is is stronger than the than the comments.

[1:27:31] SPEAKER_08: Absolutely.
[1:27:32] SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't say truthful all the way.
[1:27:34] SPEAKER_02: It's gonna work.

[1:27:55] SPEAKER_08: What's up, many no?
[1:27:56] SPEAKER_08: Recently, my man has been getting a little cozy with his work wife.
[1:28:00] SPEAKER_08: And let me know that they've got feelings for each other.
[1:28:04] SPEAKER_08: Damn.
[1:28:05] SPEAKER_08: He says that so far it's been innocent.
[1:28:08] SPEAKER_08: But since his work wife is in an open relationship, he's asked if I'm okay with opening hours too so they can explore their connection.
[1:28:18] SPEAKER_08: I am selfish and don't want to share my man, but I also don't want to lose him.
[1:28:22] SPEAKER_08: Should I agree to an open should I agree to an open relationship or bounce?
[1:28:27] SPEAKER_08: I'm gonna tell you like this.
[1:28:29] SPEAKER_02: Let me hear this.
[1:28:30] SPEAKER_02: Let me hear this.
[1:28:32] SPEAKER_08: You have to agree to the things that you only feel strongly about.
[1:28:37] SPEAKER_08: If you are willing to be in an open relationship, then do it.
[1:28:41] SPEAKER_08: But if that's not what the if that's not the your pedigree, if that's not who you are, then then then find something else for yourself.
[1:28:50] SPEAKER_08: What's up?
[1:28:51] SPEAKER_08: I want you to put your shoes, put you in the man's shoes, in his position.
[1:28:55] SPEAKER_08: No, this is not the man is not writing us, it's the lady.
[1:28:57] SPEAKER_08: This is what I'm saying.
[1:28:59] SPEAKER_08: It's the lady.
[1:28:59] SPEAKER_08: It's so one-sided.
[1:29:01] SPEAKER_08: But it is one-sided.
[1:29:02] SPEAKER_08: We're not helping the man, though, bro.
[1:29:04] SPEAKER_08: What you would want done if you was in a man's position.
[1:29:06] SPEAKER_08: That's how I say that.
[1:29:07] SPEAKER_08: I want as many women as possible.
[1:29:08] SPEAKER_08: So how would you handle this situation?
[1:29:11] SPEAKER_08: Yes, you can, please.
[1:29:12] SPEAKER_07: Please.
[1:29:13] SPEAKER_07: I feel like he's a real nigga for just being honest.
[1:29:18] SPEAKER_07: That's right.
[1:29:18] SPEAKER_07: That's right.
[1:29:19] SPEAKER_07: The direction he wants to go in.
[1:29:21] SPEAKER_07: 100%.
[1:29:22] SPEAKER_07: And he brought it to her.
[1:29:23] SPEAKER_07: He brought it to her.
[1:29:24] SPEAKER_07: He could have backdoored it.
[1:29:27] SPEAKER_07: He could have backdoored it.
[1:29:30] SPEAKER_05: He didn't even have to bring it to work.
[1:29:31] SPEAKER_05: So he only brought it home.
[1:29:33] SPEAKER_08: So he's solid, but what I'm saying is if that's not for you, then don't let it be for you.
[1:29:37] SPEAKER_08: But is that for you?
[1:29:39] SPEAKER_08: Say what?
[1:29:40] SPEAKER_08: Is that for you?
[1:29:41] SPEAKER_08: No, it's not.
[1:29:42] SPEAKER_08: Is it for you?
[1:29:42] SPEAKER_08: If you had to, is that like that's like if that's a thing for you, you like that type of stuff?
[1:29:46] SPEAKER_08: If you was in his position.
[1:29:51] SPEAKER_08: What?
[1:29:52] SPEAKER_08: You like a work wife and a real wife?
[1:29:54] SPEAKER_08: Possibly.
[1:29:56] SPEAKER_08: How would you make that come together?
[1:29:58] SPEAKER_08: Simply, this is what I'm on.
[1:30:01] SPEAKER_08: Uh-huh.
[1:30:02] SPEAKER_08: If it works for you, right?
[1:30:04] SPEAKER_08: Because I told you what I'm on, right?
[1:30:06] SPEAKER_08: This is what I'm about.
[1:30:08] SPEAKER_08: This is what I what I what I would like to have.
[1:30:10] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[1:30:11] SPEAKER_08: But if this is not for you, then I respect that too.
[1:30:14] SPEAKER_08: So then that's the same thing.
[1:30:15] SPEAKER_08: So that's what happened, happen, happen.
[1:30:17] SPEAKER_08: I'm telling, if it's not for you, uh-huh, do what's for you.
[1:30:21] SPEAKER_08: Because you don't want to sign up for some shit that you regret later.
[1:30:25] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[1:30:25] SPEAKER_08: You don't want to be one of them be like, oh, I did this for you, do it for you.
[1:30:28] SPEAKER_08: If you want to fuck with him and the other girl, then do that.
[1:30:31] SPEAKER_08: So for the man, she don't say she don't want to go.
[1:30:33] SPEAKER_08: So for the man, what does he do?
[1:30:37] SPEAKER_07: Like, all right, I did that.
[1:30:38] SPEAKER_07: Now I want to go fuck with the buddy over here.
[1:30:41] SPEAKER_07: That's what I'm saying.
[1:30:42] SPEAKER_08: Right.
[1:30:42] SPEAKER_08: So if it's not for you tripping, that's open relationship.
[1:30:46] SPEAKER_08: Right, that's open relationship, though.
[1:30:47] SPEAKER_08: So he's cool with it.
[1:30:48] SPEAKER_08: But if it's not for you, then don't let it be for you.
[1:30:52] SPEAKER_08: Don't do something, don't sign up for things that you're going to regret later.
[1:30:55] SPEAKER_08: So you ask me, should you agree or you bounce?
[1:30:58] SPEAKER_08: If you don't want to do that wholeheartedly, don't do it because you don't want to lose him.
[1:31:01] SPEAKER_08: That ain't what's going to keep him.
[1:31:04] SPEAKER_08: That's not what's going to keep him.
[1:31:06] SPEAKER_08: What's going to keep him is if he wanna be kept.
[1:31:09] SPEAKER_08: Right?
[1:31:09] SPEAKER_08: So you gotta do for you.
[1:31:11] SPEAKER_08: So do you.
[1:31:12] SPEAKER_08: If you feel strongly about not standing on that, then find somebody that's gonna be with you the way you want them to be with you, baby.
[1:31:19] SPEAKER_08: So if you was this man and you gave her this option, yeah, and then she said, That's not what I want to do.
[1:31:23] SPEAKER_08: I would tell her, nope, then you know what?
[1:31:25] SPEAKER_08: Wait, wait, wait.
[1:31:25] SPEAKER_08: I would tell her I hope you're waiting.
[1:31:27] SPEAKER_08: How hard you live forever.
[1:31:29] SPEAKER_08: But this is your housewife, not your work wife.
[1:31:31] SPEAKER_08: So now are you staying with the work wife and leaving the housewife or are you going back to the housewife?
[1:31:35] SPEAKER_08: Because you just tried something.
[1:31:36] SPEAKER_08: Is the house, is the is the work wife funner?
[1:31:42] SPEAKER_08: I'm asking.
[1:31:43] SPEAKER_08: This is a good point.
[1:31:46] SPEAKER_08: Is the work wife?
[1:31:47] SPEAKER_04: If the work wife was funner, what would be your decision?
[1:31:53] SPEAKER_04: Does that change things?
[1:31:54] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[1:31:54] SPEAKER_04: You're not going back home?
[1:31:56] SPEAKER_04: Are you gonna say put your mama on the phone?
[1:31:58] SPEAKER_04: It's Richie.
[1:31:59] SPEAKER_04: Okay.
[1:32:00] SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's a Richie situation.
[1:32:01] SPEAKER_04: Say no more.
[1:32:02] SPEAKER_04: It's Richie.
[1:32:02] SPEAKER_02: Put your mama on the phone.
[1:32:05] SPEAKER_02: Nigga say I ain't never come home.
[1:32:06] SPEAKER_02: I ain't never coming out.
[1:32:07] SPEAKER_06: This is a Richie situation.
[1:32:09] SPEAKER_06: Low key, the work wife got a situation though.
[1:32:12] SPEAKER_06: But it's okay though.
[1:32:12] SPEAKER_06: We understand it.
[1:32:14] SPEAKER_06: So you might have to do it.
[1:32:14] SPEAKER_06: But we have to understand it.
[1:32:16] SPEAKER_06: So where are you going?
[1:32:17] SPEAKER_06: Right.
[1:32:17] SPEAKER_05: Don't leave it for the work.
[1:32:19] SPEAKER_05: The work wife is going back home.
[1:32:20] SPEAKER_05: So I'll tell you what I'm saying.
[1:32:23] SPEAKER_08: You might be left by yourself at work.
[1:32:25] SPEAKER_08: That's not a bad option.
[1:32:28] SPEAKER_08: Lonely at work?
[1:32:29] SPEAKER_08: No, you're not lonely.
[1:32:30] SPEAKER_08: You just got more options.
[1:32:33] SPEAKER_06: I like your advice.
[1:32:34] SPEAKER_08: Being alone and being lonely are two different things.
[1:32:37] SPEAKER_08: Don't confuse them.
[1:32:38] SPEAKER_08: You're right.
[1:32:38] SPEAKER_06: I like what your advice was basically saying doing what's best for you.
[1:32:41] SPEAKER_04: Yes.

[1:32:44] SPEAKER_04: Yes.
[1:32:44] SPEAKER_04: I mean, I worry about what the nigga is gonna do in that situation.
[1:32:48] SPEAKER_04: Is he going with the work wife or is he gonna take his ass back home because he just tried something?
[1:32:54] SPEAKER_08: Is he gonna go though?
[1:32:55] SPEAKER_08: No, he's gonna be happy regardless.
[1:32:56] SPEAKER_08: No matter.
[1:32:57] SPEAKER_08: It's up to because he told her the truth.
[1:32:58] SPEAKER_08: When you tell somebody the truth, then you then you're giving them the option to do whatever they feel is in their best interest.
[1:33:06] SPEAKER_08: You gave them freedom.
[1:33:08] SPEAKER_08: So he's gonna respect it if she says, nah, I'm good on that.
[1:33:13] SPEAKER_08: I would.
[1:33:14] SPEAKER_08: And then he's going back home.
