[0:02] Speaker 1: Apostle Fermi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
[0:06] Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
[0:10] Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
[0:13] Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
[0:16] Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
[0:19] Speaker 1: times in the body of Christ.
[0:22] Speaker 2: Then I will cause your voice to be heard.
[0:25] Speaker 1: And all who pay attention to my word on your
[0:29] Speaker 1: lips will not lack light and direction. He's a man
[0:33] Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
[0:38] Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
[0:46] Speaker 3: Alright, tonight I start a very brief.
[0:51] Speaker 2: Series. Are you ready for it? Are you sure? It
[0:58] Speaker 2: doesn't look like you are ready. Alright, titled Broken Bones.
[1:09] Speaker 2: Broken Bones. Amen. So it's a new journey and I'm
[1:15] Speaker 2: trusting God to help us. Amen.
[1:19] Speaker 3: I want us to do something. I want us to
[1:21] Speaker 3: pray in the Holy Ghost while I sit here. Something
[1:24] Speaker 3: happens when your spirit is ventilated.
[1:26] Speaker 2: You'll be able to assimilate more. Is that okay?
[1:28] Speaker 3: Pray in the Holy Ghost quickly. Build up yourselves on
[1:32] Speaker 3: your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Pray
[1:39] Speaker 3: in the Holy Spirit. And when you are doing so,
[1:43] Speaker 3: do it with consciousness. Do it with consciousness. To break
[1:47] Speaker 3: into the realm of light.
[1:49] Speaker 2: Light. When light jumps at you. We are not dull
[1:53] Speaker 2: of hearing because we are quickened by the Spirit. We
[1:56] Speaker 2: are quickened of the Spirit. Pray in the Holy Ghost.
[1:59] Speaker 2: We are not dull of hearing. We are quickened by
[2:03] Speaker 2: the Spirit. Please pray. Please pray. Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
[2:08] Speaker 3: Pray in the Holy Ghost. Thank you, blessed Father. In
[2:24] Speaker 3: Jesus' mighty name, we are praying.
[2:28] Speaker 2: Amen.
[2:29] Speaker 3: Alright, let's turn our Bibles to the book of Psalms,
[2:32] Speaker 3: chapter number 51. The book of Psalms, chapter number 51. Alright,
[2:41] Speaker 3: the book of Psalms, chapter number 51.
[2:44] Speaker 2: Alright.
[2:49] Speaker 3: If you are there, say Amen. So I'm going to
[2:51] Speaker 3: read the entire verse. In fact, you need to understand
[2:56] Speaker 3: this passage of the scripture. I'm going to try to
[2:59] Speaker 3: be as simple as possible.
[3:00] Speaker 2: This was the Psalm David wrote.
[3:04] Speaker 3: After the atrocity with Bathsheba killing her husband Uriah. It's
[3:11] Speaker 3: a very profound Psalm. And I want us to hear
[3:13] Speaker 3: his thoughts. Have mercy on me, O God. according to
[3:20] Speaker 3: your loving kindness, and according to the multitude of your
[3:25] Speaker 3: tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. There is the mercy
[3:34] Speaker 3: of God, but there's also the tender mercies of God.
[3:40] Speaker 2: Okay? For the sake of emphasis, let me just give
[3:43] Speaker 2: you the difference.
[3:48] Speaker 3: You see, The system of mercy is the provision that
[3:52] Speaker 3: is made because you could not have measured up.
[3:59] Speaker 2: Okay? Mercy is the provision made because you can't measure
[4:04] Speaker 2: up by yourself.
[4:08] Speaker 3: For instance, 2 Corinthians chapter number 10 and 4 from
[4:11] Speaker 3: verse 1 says, seeing therefore we have this ministry, alright,
[4:16] Speaker 3: having received mercy, we do what?
[4:18] Speaker 2: We faint not.
[4:20] Speaker 3: He said, but we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
[4:23] Speaker 3: not working in craftiness or handling the word of God deceitfully,
[4:27] Speaker 3: but by the manifestations of truth, we commend ourselves to
[4:31] Speaker 3: every man's conscience in the sight of God. But he said,
[4:34] Speaker 3: we have received this ministry having received mercy.
[4:38] Speaker 2: We faint not. All right. So that this holy calling.
[4:41] Speaker 3: That God has given to us, we actually have obtained
[4:44] Speaker 3: a part in it because mercy spoke first.
[4:47] Speaker 2: All right. And that's what the author of Hebrews was
[4:49] Speaker 2: trying to say. Hebrews 4 verse 16.
[4:51] Speaker 3: See, let us now therefore come boldly before the throne
[4:54] Speaker 3: of grace, that we may obtain what?
[4:56] Speaker 2: Mercy.
[4:57] Speaker 3: And find grace to help. I want to just give
[5:01] Speaker 3: you a deal between mercy and tender mercy.
[5:03] Speaker 2: Alright? So, simple illustration. Never forget this one. Mercy is
[5:08] Speaker 2: what you obtain. Alright? In God. Alright?
[5:11] Speaker 3: Because you could not have measured up by your own ability.
[5:14] Speaker 3: It becomes tender mercy even after extending mercy. You fail
[5:17] Speaker 3: to grow He has to be tender with it because
[5:20] Speaker 3: you are young. Do you understand that simple analogy? That's it.
[5:25] Speaker 2: Because the things that David was doing, it is not
[5:27] Speaker 2: for kings now. Proverbs 31. It is not for kings.
[5:33] Speaker 3: He said, Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse
[5:38] Speaker 3: me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions and
[5:41] Speaker 3: my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only
[5:45] Speaker 3: have I sinned. and done this evil in your sight,
[5:47] Speaker 3: that you might be justified when you speak, and be
[5:50] Speaker 3: clear when you judge. Behold, I was shaped in iniquity,
[5:53] Speaker 3: and in sin did my mother conceive me.
[5:57] Speaker 2: Behold, you desire.
[5:58] Speaker 3: Truth in the inward part, and in the hidden part
[6:02] Speaker 3: you shall make me to know wisdom. Purge me with
[6:05] Speaker 3: ice up, and I shall be clean. Wash me, and
[6:07] Speaker 3: I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear
[6:11] Speaker 3: joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken
[6:15] Speaker 3: may work.
[6:16] Speaker 2: Rejoice.
[6:17] Speaker 3: Can we read that verse 8 again together? 1, 2, 3, go.
[6:21] Speaker 3: Make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones
[6:25] Speaker 3: which you have broken may rejoice.
[6:28] Speaker 2: One more time.
[6:28] Speaker 3: Alright, so have a clearer understanding of that statement he made.
[6:38] Speaker 2: Let's look at verse 9.
[6:39] Speaker 3: He said, Hide not your face from my sins and
[6:42] Speaker 3: blot out all my iniquities, creating me a clean heart.
[6:46] Speaker 3: O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast
[6:50] Speaker 3: me not away from your presence and take not your
[6:53] Speaker 3: Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of
[6:57] Speaker 3: your salvation and uphold.
[6:59] Speaker 2: Me with your free spirit.
[7:01] Speaker 3: Then I will teach transgressors your ways and sinners shall
[7:06] Speaker 3: be converted to you.
[7:09] Speaker 2: Are you seeing that now?
[7:11] Speaker 3: The anointing to help sinners come back and transgressors get
[7:14] Speaker 3: it right. It's coming because the bones have been broken.
[7:18] Speaker 3: I'm going to go further into that. Meaning that now
[7:23] Speaker 3: he's not speaking from the point of perfection. He's speaking
[7:26] Speaker 3: from the point of mercy that he has obtained. Do
[7:29] Speaker 3: you understand what I'm saying here?
[7:31] Speaker 2: There is little you can do in your own self-perception
[7:34] Speaker 2: and perfection. Let me say this to you.
[7:38] Speaker 3: Anything you want to do under God that you feel
[7:41] Speaker 3: 100% qualified for, you will not do it well.
[7:47] Speaker 2: I've given this simple illustration. Go and check.
[7:51] Speaker 3: Campus fellowships, any ministry, the moment they are ordaining somebody
[7:55] Speaker 3: into position, and both the person and the church feels
[8:00] Speaker 3: this is the most qualified person, experience has shown that
[8:03] Speaker 3: he will be the most underperforming person.
[8:06] Speaker 2: He will not be able to deliver. Why?
[8:09] Speaker 3: Because what it takes to do God's work is actually
[8:13] Speaker 3: from the anointing you receive by depending on him. What
[8:18] Speaker 3: I'm trying to say is that something must show you
[8:20] Speaker 3: the need for a perfect Savior.
[8:23] Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying? Do you understand what
[8:26] Speaker 2: I'm saying?
[8:27] Speaker 3: Something must show you the need for Him. So He said,
[8:33] Speaker 3: when the bones that you have broken rejoice. He said,
[8:36] Speaker 3: cast me not away from your presence. Renew your right spirit.
[8:39] Speaker 3: He said, then I will now be able to teach
[8:41] Speaker 3: sinners your ways. And I've said it. It is not
[8:44] Speaker 3: everybody that opens the Bible. That can help sinners come back.
[8:50] Speaker 2: Nah. Alright.
[8:53] Speaker 3: You'll just be preaching over the head of the people.
[8:56] Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question. What has God delivered
[8:58] Speaker 3: you from? What has God saved you from? Those are
[9:04] Speaker 3: the areas of your broken bones. Do you understand what
[9:07] Speaker 3: I'm saying? I'm going somewhere.
[9:09] Speaker 2: Alright. This is a very deep passage of scripture. Alright. Alright.
[9:14] Speaker 3: Verse 13 says, Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
[9:17] Speaker 3: and sinners shall be converted to you.
[9:20] Speaker 2: He said, Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God.
[9:25] Speaker 3: You, God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing
[9:29] Speaker 3: aloud of your righteousness.
[9:31] Speaker 2: O Lord, open you my lips, and my mouth.
[9:34] Speaker 3: Shall flow forth your praise. For you desire. Now, he
[9:39] Speaker 3: now began to enter into some serious matter. this part
[9:46] Speaker 3: alright please listen look at what he said in verse
[9:50] Speaker 3: 16 he said you do not desire sacrifice else I
[9:53] Speaker 3: would have given it you delight not in burnt offering
[9:59] Speaker 3: but Remember what God told Saul through Samuel?
[10:03] Speaker 2: He said that obedience is better than what? Sacrifice.
[10:06] Speaker 3: Alright, so he said, give us this scripture in message.
[10:09] Speaker 3: Is there a message translation now? From verse 16 now.
[10:12] Speaker 3: Psalm 51 from verse 16, message translation. Alright, look, I
[10:17] Speaker 3: want you to look at what he said. He said,
[10:19] Speaker 3: going through the motions doesn't please you. A flawless performance
[10:23] Speaker 3: is nothing to you. Somebody is coming before God and say, God,
[10:29] Speaker 3: look at my righteousness.
[10:30] Speaker 2: Look at my life.
[10:31] Speaker 3: See how that I've never failed you before. I've never
[10:33] Speaker 3: lied before. I've never been dizzy for you. You don't
[10:37] Speaker 3: need grace. He said, flawless performance is nothing to you.
[10:43] Speaker 3: Look at verse 17 so you can understand.
[10:45] Speaker 2: I will read it in.
[10:48] Speaker 3: I'm sorry, King James. Alright, then we're reading the message.
[10:51] Speaker 3: He said, the sacrifices of God are a what? Broken spirit.
[10:57] Speaker 3: A broken and a contrite.
[10:59] Speaker 2: Heart you cannot despise. Let me tell you something.
[11:04] Speaker 3: There was a season I was attending a church. So,
[11:11] Speaker 3: every last Sunday or so, we do have Holy Communion.
[11:15] Speaker 3: So we move from our area, then we go to
[11:17] Speaker 3: the zone. We take Holy Communion at the level of
[11:20] Speaker 3: the zone. There was a zonal pastor in that church.
[11:26] Speaker 3: He has a form of something was wrong with his leg.
[11:30] Speaker 3: It was always limping. So the man has a way
[11:32] Speaker 3: of playing the guitar. I sat down at the man.
[11:36] Speaker 3: I observed when this man is talking, he's not shouting.
[11:41] Speaker 3: He's not making noise. But there is a form of
[11:44] Speaker 3: anointing that makes this word hit every spot. I cannot explain.
[11:50] Speaker 3: When you hear that, you are hearing the voice of brokenness.
[11:56] Speaker 3: The contact point of grace is that place that is broken.
[12:02] Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
[12:07] Speaker 3: If you ask me, who is the greatest human being
[12:10] Speaker 3: I've met in my life? I think it's one particular guy.
[12:14] Speaker 3: Years back, my NGO that I run, we're going to
[12:18] Speaker 3: have an award. We're going to have an award presentation
[12:21] Speaker 3: for different other NGOs that were doing things similar to
[12:25] Speaker 3: what we're doing. We invited them. There was this guy,
[12:29] Speaker 3: I just invited the guy. I said, I've been seeing
[12:31] Speaker 3: him on Facebook. And then we checked what they were doing,
[12:34] Speaker 3: analyzed it, and then ran through the table, saw that
[12:38] Speaker 3: they were qualified for the award, invited them to come
[12:41] Speaker 3: for the meeting. when I met this guy face to face,
[12:47] Speaker 3: I had to excuse myself before him to go and cry.
[12:52] Speaker 3: There is something powerful about people who are not blinded
[12:57] Speaker 3: by their own light. There is something powerful about people
[13:03] Speaker 3: who are at the end of their own rope.
[13:08] Speaker 2: Let me explain what I'm saying.
[13:11] Speaker 3: If you look at the letter that Jesus sent through
[13:13] Speaker 3: the angels of the seven churches, the letters that were sent,
[13:18] Speaker 3: the church in Smyrna, the church in Pergamos, the church
[13:21] Speaker 3: in Thyatira, the church in Laodicea, the church of Ephesus,
[13:24] Speaker 3: and all the churches, you will discover that before he
[13:29] Speaker 3: rebuked the rest, he talked about the reputation they have
[13:32] Speaker 3: about themselves. The only church that was not rebuked was
[13:37] Speaker 3: the church in Smyrna. Give me that scripture. Revelation chapter
[13:41] Speaker 3: number 2. Let's look at their orientation.
[13:44] Speaker 2: Listen to what I'm saying.
[13:45] Speaker 3: If you can get this particular teaching right, people will
[13:50] Speaker 3: not be able to understand where the flow of grace
[13:53] Speaker 3: is coming from in your life.
[13:55] Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying? Can they give me
[13:57] Speaker 2: that scripture? Alright, look at it. It said, write this
[13:59] Speaker 2: to Smyrna, to the angel of the church. The beginning
[14:03] Speaker 2: and the ending. Alright. The first and the final one.
[14:08] Speaker 2: The ones dead.
[14:09] Speaker 3: Can you give me this in King James translation? Let's
[14:12] Speaker 3: make it very fast. Alright, dead and alive. Yes, verse
[14:16] Speaker 3: 9 now. He said, I know thy works and thy
[14:19] Speaker 3: tribulation and thy poverty, but you are rich. Many people
[14:26] Speaker 3: don't know that spiritual poverty is the highest form of wealth.
[14:31] Speaker 3: And that's why he said, blessed are the poor in spirit.
[14:35] Speaker 2: They are the ones that will see God. Alright? Listen.
[14:43] Speaker 2: Let me tell you the secret.
[14:45] Speaker 3: People tell me, I've seen people, friends, people call me
[14:49] Speaker 3: and say, what is happening? When you teach, where is
[14:52] Speaker 3: this thing coming from? I tell them. I say, every
[14:55] Speaker 3: time I want to teach, I'm in tears before God.
[15:00] Speaker 3: I am not coming as one who have a personal revelation.
[15:04] Speaker 3: My heart still skips. It is coming from the point of,
[15:09] Speaker 3: except you help me, I will be a sounding cymbal,
[15:13] Speaker 3: clinking cymbal before the people. Your greatest strength must become
[15:19] Speaker 3: nothing for life to flow. Do you understand what I'm saying?
[15:26] Speaker 3: Let's go back to Psalm 51. Look at what David was.
[15:31] Speaker 2: Saying. They believed they were poor. Jesus said, you are rich.
[15:33] Speaker 2: You are rich. Look at what he told the Laodicean people.
[15:36] Speaker 2: He said, you would think you are rich people. He said,
[15:37] Speaker 2: you are very wretched. Go and check. Even when it
[15:45] Speaker 2: comes to music. I love good music. Okay.
[15:51] Speaker 3: But the power to bet a sound that will vibrate
[15:56] Speaker 3: through the entire world.
[15:57] Speaker 2: It's not in riffs and rounds. Do you understand what
[16:02] Speaker 2: I'm saying?
[16:03] Speaker 3: It is not in rips and rams. If you can
[16:05] Speaker 3: do it, fantastic. But that strength must become nothing for
[16:10] Speaker 3: his own strength to flow.
[16:11] Speaker 2: Do you understand that? We are going somewhere.
[16:14] Speaker 3: Alright, he said, the sacrifice of God I want broken
[16:16] Speaker 3: spirit and a contrite heart. It means, he said, O Lord,
[16:20] Speaker 3: you will not despise. That is, anywhere God sees brokenness,
[16:22] Speaker 3: he can't take off his eyes. Look at that same
[16:26] Speaker 3: 17 in Message Translation.
[16:28] Speaker 2: Quickly.
[16:29] Speaker 3: Alright, he said, look at it. Can we read this together? 1, 2, 3, go.
[16:33] Speaker 3: I learned God worship when my pride was.
[16:36] Speaker 2: Alright. So when he said the bone that you have broken.
[16:39] Speaker 2: What is he saying?
[16:40] Speaker 3: Something happened to me that broke my pride. Do you
[16:43] Speaker 3: understand what I'm saying?
[16:47] Speaker 2: Listen. Listen.
[16:51] Speaker 3: It is possible not to allow God have his way
[16:54] Speaker 3: in your life. But you will still be successful. So
[16:59] Speaker 3: this is not about success. You can be in rebellion
[17:04] Speaker 3: and still be successful.
[17:06] Speaker 2: Yes.
[17:08] Speaker 3: But if you are going to become what God wants
[17:10] Speaker 3: you to become, He will have to conquer you.
[17:16] Speaker 2: If what you want to pursue is more money, get married,
[17:21] Speaker 2: have children, no problem. That is stable matters.
[17:27] Speaker 3: But if it is the route of everything you Lord
[17:30] Speaker 3: have in stock for me, you will have to go
[17:34] Speaker 3: this route. In fact, the moment you sign up for
[17:38] Speaker 3: that route, the first thing that will happen is that
[17:41] Speaker 3: it will look like from the day you said yes,
[17:43] Speaker 3: you began to retrogress. Look at what Daniel said now.
[17:48] Speaker 3: They said, allow us to eat pulse. If you understand
[17:53] Speaker 3: what it means, legumes and water. Some people say beans
[17:57] Speaker 3: and water. He said, check us after 10 days. You
[18:00] Speaker 3: signed up to follow God. You start comparing yourself with
[18:02] Speaker 3: your colleagues the same day.
[18:05] Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying? God, I'm going to
[18:09] Speaker 2: follow you.
[18:09] Speaker 3: The 10 days is God's appointed season.
[18:15] Speaker 2: That 10 days may be 10 years.
[18:17] Speaker 3: If they come in the night day, everybody will say,
[18:23] Speaker 3: look at you, we have left you behind. But when
[18:25] Speaker 3: that hand comes, the man will outrun those who are unchartered.
[18:34] Speaker 2: In this kingdom, we are not fast by running. We
[18:39] Speaker 2: are fast by waiting. What are we waiting for? The hand.
[18:47] Speaker 3: When you sign up, that's why I'm giving caution.
[18:53] Speaker 2: Okay? I'm giving caution.
[18:55] Speaker 3: But the moment you sign up that this is the
[18:58] Speaker 3: life I've chosen, it will start from you being behind it.
[19:02] Speaker 2: It is the principle.
[19:03] Speaker 3: Except a grain of wheat first falls down and dies.
[19:06] Speaker 3: And what people don't know is that death is part
[19:08] Speaker 3: of progress. You allow people to mourn too soon and
[19:14] Speaker 3: you join them to mourn yourself.
[19:16] Speaker 2: Look at my life. Self-pity. Look at what I've become.
[19:18] Speaker 2: Did you know what I finished with in school? Allow
[19:21] Speaker 2: it now.
[19:23] Speaker 3: There is a difference between the grain of corn that
[19:26] Speaker 3: is sown and the one that is on the shelf.
[19:29] Speaker 2: When they are done eating that one, this one is
[19:31] Speaker 2: still producing for generations.
[19:33] Speaker 3: Let me say this to you. Your life is either
[19:36] Speaker 3: like wine or like milk. Milk gets spoiled with time.
[19:40] Speaker 3: Wine gets better with time. Do you understand what I'm saying?
[19:48] Speaker 3: You don't understand. You have everything right in front of you. Plans, purpose, pursuit,
[19:55] Speaker 3: everything is clear. I know what to call. They will
[19:58] Speaker 3: fix me here, they will fix me there. I can
[20:00] Speaker 3: get this settled, this, this, this. I don't have any issue.
[20:03] Speaker 3: My uncle is this, this, my sister is this, this.
[20:05] Speaker 3: I will call them. Then God, in the midst of that,
[20:09] Speaker 3: Now say don't. David is saying there is a dimension
[20:15] Speaker 3: of worship that flows when that thing I rely on
[20:18] Speaker 3: is shattered. Let me tell you what it means to
[20:24] Speaker 3: be blessed. The blessing is anything and any situation that
[20:31] Speaker 3: leaves you with God as your last option. The kind
[20:41] Speaker 3: of Christianity we are doing, that there are other options,
[20:47] Speaker 3: God is just part of them. We have not started.
[20:51] Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying? Let me give you
[20:53] Speaker 3: an illustration now. You are a young girl, 26, 27.
[20:58] Speaker 3: You've been dating this guy for 3, 4 years.
[21:01] Speaker 2: This is it. Marriage. Next thing.
[21:04] Speaker 3: When you are preaching or teaching young people about relationships,
[21:09] Speaker 3: There is a level of arrogance you will speak with
[21:11] Speaker 3: because yours is settled.
[21:17] Speaker 2: Two months to introduction, the guy serves you breakfast.
[21:20] Speaker 3: They now call you to come and speak to young
[21:23] Speaker 3: people about relationship again.
[21:25] Speaker 2: It is from these broken bones that the grace to
[21:29] Speaker 2: be a speaker now comes.
[21:31] Speaker 3: The one you were saying before, you were just blabbing.
[21:35] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? There is a difference
[21:37] Speaker 3: between the ones you are boasting about because you have advantage.
[21:41] Speaker 3: When your advantages are taken, that's where messages start from.
[21:46] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? That's what we are
[21:48] Speaker 3: talking about. So suddenly now they serve you breakfast.
[21:53] Speaker 2: You go and cry.
[21:56] Speaker 3: Because before, when you talk to people about relationship, you say,
[22:00] Speaker 3: make sure you dress well. You have done everything. Guys
[22:03] Speaker 3: know the show. Do you understand what I'm saying? When
[22:06] Speaker 3: all your formulas are no longer working, that is when
[22:10] Speaker 3: you find God. The men of us have plenty of formulas.
[22:17] Speaker 3: Have you tried this?
[22:19] Speaker 2: This one. I tried this then. Okay.
[22:23] Speaker 3: Sometimes it takes a lifetime for a man to come
[22:26] Speaker 3: to the end of his rope. I think the most
[22:30] Speaker 3: difficult thing for God to achieve in a man's life
[22:33] Speaker 3: is to meet the man at the end of himself. Like,
[22:36] Speaker 3: for a man to say, I'm tired, I'm done. Like,
[22:40] Speaker 3: I'm done now. I've tried all my efforts. Nothing is working.
[22:45] Speaker 2: Alright?
[22:46] Speaker 3: I'm at the end of myself now. Say, what type
[22:50] Speaker 3: of relationship matters?
[22:51] Speaker 2: Say, we are trusting God. This same guy, two months ago,
[22:57] Speaker 2: just been licking his lips. It's by bending. Bending. He
[23:03] Speaker 2: wanted to go and ask a girl out. He believed
[23:06] Speaker 2: that he had swept the girl off her feet. By
[23:08] Speaker 2: the time he gets there, he gets at you. You
[23:11] Speaker 2: are not even in my thoughts. He is not your kind.
[23:14] Speaker 3: Are you following what I am saying here? When you
[23:18] Speaker 3: get to such end of the road, that is where
[23:22] Speaker 3: you find God. Let me show you a scripture.
[23:25] Speaker 2: Genesis chapter number 19. Are you following what I am
[23:29] Speaker 2: saying here? Let me show you something.
[23:33] Speaker 3: Genesis chapter number 17. What I'm trying to show you
[23:39] Speaker 3: is that what God is trying to do with your life.
[23:45] Speaker 3: If we can get this. If we can get this.
[23:51] Speaker 3: We can go and start dancing. Because you have a
[23:56] Speaker 3: major key. Look at what the Bible is saying. Genesis
[23:59] Speaker 3: chapter number 17. When Abraham was 90 years old and nine,
[24:04] Speaker 3: then God appeared to him and said, I am the
[24:07] Speaker 3: almighty God.
[24:11] Speaker 2: Walk before me and be perfect. God could not say
[24:14] Speaker 2: this when he was in his 70s because then.
[24:18] Speaker 3: He was following God. But there was the option of Aga,
[24:24] Speaker 3: the servant girl. Ishmael was around the corner. So all
[24:30] Speaker 3: those things were happening. But the moment he got to
[24:33] Speaker 3: a stage where, listen to what I'm saying.
[24:36] Speaker 2: The faith journey of.
[24:38] Speaker 3: Abraham and Sarah began when it ceased to be with
[24:41] Speaker 3: Sarah after the manner of women. Isaac is not bettered
[24:51] Speaker 3: when you are still having menstrual flow. Isaacs are bettered.
[24:59] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? Isaac is God making
[25:04] Speaker 3: a statement, I gave this one. That kind is not
[25:09] Speaker 3: bettered when both God and doctors are arguing that we
[25:13] Speaker 3: did it. What I'm trying to show you is that
[25:18] Speaker 3: all that God has been trying to do is to
[25:20] Speaker 3: get you to the end of your road. And then say,
[25:25] Speaker 3: are you tired?
[25:25] Speaker 2: Are you tired? Have you discovered that you are not
[25:28] Speaker 2: that smart? Do you understand what I'm saying?
[25:31] Speaker 3: Have you discovered that you are not that intelligent? Have
[25:35] Speaker 3: you discovered that you are not as handsome as you think?
[25:39] Speaker 3: Having discovered that, come and learn my ways. Alright, and
[25:45] Speaker 3: that's what the Bible is saying. The book of Matthew
[25:47] Speaker 3: chapter number 5. Matthew 5, 3 message translation. Matthew 5, 3,
[25:52] Speaker 3: message translation. Blessed are the poor in spirit. Let's read
[25:55] Speaker 3: it together. 1, 2, 3, go. You are blessed when
[25:58] Speaker 3: you are at the end of your rope. With less
[26:02] Speaker 3: of you, there is more of Ask your neighbor, when
[26:09] Speaker 3: will you be tired? Are you following what I'm saying?
[26:15] Speaker 2: When will you get tired? Listen. Listen.
[26:21] Speaker 3: The first bone God broke in the Bible was the
[26:24] Speaker 3: ribs of a man. And it was the issue of marriage.
[26:28] Speaker 3: God could not achieve it without Adam sleeping. Let's look
[26:36] Speaker 3: at all the things that happened when he was asleep.
[26:37] Speaker 3: Number one, God broke the ribs. Number two, God closed
[26:41] Speaker 3: the side back. Then God finished his work. If you
[26:47] Speaker 3: are awake when God is walking, you will hijack the
[26:50] Speaker 3: woman when God is not done.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Give me like that. I'm 27 now. This is my plan.
[27:01] Speaker 2: Go to sleep.
[27:07] Speaker 3: A lot is achieved when you sleep. A lot is
[27:11] Speaker 3: achieved when you enter into a rest. agitation brings nothing
[27:18] Speaker 3: so you are blessed when you are at the end
[27:21] Speaker 3: of your rope with less of you there is more
[27:23] Speaker 3: of God and of his rule something happened when Abraham
[27:31] Speaker 3: clocked 99 one of the things that happened was that
[27:37] Speaker 3: there is a way brokenness will make you more hospitable
[27:44] Speaker 3: go and check Anybody who is not given to hospitality
[27:48] Speaker 3: feels they don't need anything from anybody.
[27:56] Speaker 2: I want to say this. I stand to be corrected,
[27:58] Speaker 2: but I say it based on personal observation. It's not
[28:01] Speaker 2: a doctrine.
[28:03] Speaker 3: Some of the most hospitable people I have seen are
[28:06] Speaker 3: those trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Do
[28:13] Speaker 3: you know what it means to trust God for the
[28:15] Speaker 3: fruit of the womb? Okay, don't let's even stay there
[28:19] Speaker 3: because it's a sensitive matter. Do you know what it
[28:21] Speaker 3: means to wait on God? For something that you know
[28:25] Speaker 3: that part of the option is that it may never come.
[28:35] Speaker 3: If you listen to what I'm saying, if you are
[28:38] Speaker 3: waiting on God, let's say for instance, as a man,
[28:40] Speaker 3: you are waiting on God for a life partner.
[28:45] Speaker 2: All right? That he has ordained for you. You are
[28:48] Speaker 2: trusting God. Who is this person?
[28:51] Speaker 3: It is not because. You don't have the ability. To
[28:56] Speaker 3: go outside of his will. To ask somebody out. Do
[29:00] Speaker 3: you understand what I am saying?
[29:02] Speaker 2: But you chose. To wait. For him.
[29:07] Speaker 3: To bring his choice. And we don't know when that
[29:12] Speaker 3: will happen. The person waiting on God for a child, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55.
[29:27] Speaker 3: The devil keeps reminding the person every day that are
[29:33] Speaker 3: you aware you may never have a child in this
[29:36] Speaker 3: earth when people are at the hand of themselves like
[29:41] Speaker 3: that you find plenty grace around them let me say
[29:46] Speaker 3: this oh there are things we say just stop because
[29:52] Speaker 3: you agree with many advantages and you think you have
[29:56] Speaker 3: a message Are you following what I'm saying? Somebody was
[30:00] Speaker 3: born in a family where there's a covenant inheritance of prayer. Father,
[30:04] Speaker 3: you are the third generation of a praying family. Say,
[30:08] Speaker 3: I spend time in prayer.
[30:10] Speaker 2: I spend time in prayer. No. Let me give you
[30:13] Speaker 2: an instance.
[30:14] Speaker 3: The fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5, part
[30:16] Speaker 3: of that fruit is gentleness.
[30:18] Speaker 2: True? That gentleness is not the natural one people are
[30:22] Speaker 2: born with.
[30:23] Speaker 3: When you are done exhausting that one, that's when we
[30:26] Speaker 3: tap to the resources of this one.
[30:31] Speaker 2: That's not your ability that you have.
[30:35] Speaker 3: A situation will have to happen that will get you
[30:37] Speaker 3: to the end of your serving that, that you will
[30:39] Speaker 3: now learn prayer in the midst of tribulations. When you
[30:43] Speaker 3: learn that and you speak, you will now speak seasoned words.
[30:47] Speaker 3: That's when you'll be able to do like David, that
[30:49] Speaker 3: now I can teach sinners your ways. You can't before
[30:53] Speaker 3: until your bones are broken.
[30:55] Speaker 2: But listen, we're going somewhere. All right?
[30:58] Speaker 3: All that I'm trying to do is to bring you
[31:00] Speaker 3: into the introduction. Are you following what I'm saying here?
[31:02] Speaker 3: Is somebody being blessed by what I'm teaching? Is this
[31:04] Speaker 3: simple enough?
[31:06] Speaker 2: Alright. Let me show you a passage of scripture. There's
[31:11] Speaker 2: a story. Tonight, I just want to walk you through
[31:15] Speaker 2: a story. Okay? A story.
[31:19] Speaker 3: And from that story, we are going to touch many things.
[31:24] Speaker 3: And that is the story of this very amazing young man, Jacob.
[31:34] Speaker 2: Very fascinating story. So I want us to check something together.
[31:40] Speaker 3: Turn your Bibles to the book of Matthew chapter number 32.
[31:45] Speaker 3: Matthew chapter number 32. Before I begin to read this
[31:49] Speaker 3: passage of scripture, I want to give a background description.
[31:53] Speaker 2: Of what Jacob represents. Are you with me now? Jacob
[31:59] Speaker 2: was that guy. That what went ahead of him. That
[32:04] Speaker 2: the elder brother. Will serve him. And the way he
[32:08] Speaker 2: lived his life. It was clear. That he got the gist. Alright.
[32:14] Speaker 3: It was clear that he got the gist. And he
[32:16] Speaker 3: tried to get it. By his own human effort. Jacob represents.
[32:24] Speaker 2: A very smart young man who is afraid of being
[32:28] Speaker 2: left behind.
[32:34] Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. Anywhere you see pride, there
[32:38] Speaker 3: is fear. A proud man is afraid. That's why he
[32:42] Speaker 3: sings his own song so that history can favor him.
[32:46] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? That if I blow
[32:48] Speaker 3: my own trumpet, everybody will know I'm a powerful man.
[32:50] Speaker 3: I will not wait for people to talk about me.
[32:52] Speaker 3: Let me do it.
[32:53] Speaker 2: Anybody who is proud is what? Afraid.
[32:56] Speaker 3: Anybody who is rude is scared. Rudeness is a lazy
[33:00] Speaker 3: man's way of showing strength. Because he can't measure up emotionally.
[33:04] Speaker 2: Alright?
[33:05] Speaker 3: So it's this young man that was afraid. He was
[33:08] Speaker 3: doing the things he was doing because he was afraid.
[33:11] Speaker 3: The mother somehow had given him the genes. Your brother
[33:13] Speaker 3: will do this.
[33:14] Speaker 2: He was afraid. So he said, give me your birthright.
[33:16] Speaker 2: You take this food. Are you following what I'm saying here?
[33:22] Speaker 3: He was scared, alright, that if he doesn't find his
[33:25] Speaker 3: way to get the blessing, he may never be remembered. Alright?
[33:31] Speaker 3: He was a young smart boy, alright, doing all he could, alright,
[33:36] Speaker 3: to be relevant.
[33:39] Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying here?
[33:41] Speaker 3: Alright, this same guy requested for the birthright from the
[33:45] Speaker 3: brother in exchange for food.
[33:48] Speaker 2: He and the mother agreed together. And deceived their father. Alright.
[33:52] Speaker 2: And he obtained. A word from the father. And he
[33:55] Speaker 2: ran away. Never to see both the mother and the
[33:58] Speaker 2: father again. Okay. It was just someone.
[34:04] Speaker 3: Doing all he could to survive. Just trying to survive.
[34:10] Speaker 3: Trying to run the street.
[34:11] Speaker 4: Okay.
[34:14] Speaker 2: Okay.
[34:20] Speaker 3: God was also on the other hand, trying to get
[34:25] Speaker 3: him to a point where he could get him to
[34:27] Speaker 3: enter the blessing that was on his lineage. But the
[34:31] Speaker 3: more God was trying, the more his effort was delaying it.
[34:34] Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying?
[34:36] Speaker 3: When you read the story of Esau and Jacob and
[34:43] Speaker 3: the father, when you read that moment where the father
[34:46] Speaker 3: said to Esau.
[34:48] Speaker 2: Go and bring me the venison. I want to bless
[34:50] Speaker 2: you then die.
[34:53] Speaker 3: What you will think in your natural human mind is
[34:56] Speaker 3: that if Jacob did not.
[34:58] Speaker 2: Interrupt that flow, the father will give the blessing to Esau.
[35:03] Speaker 2: Is God's hand that short?
[35:07] Speaker 3: Was it not the same Jacob that was going to
[35:09] Speaker 3: bless the sons of Joseph? At the last moment, God
[35:14] Speaker 3: said he should what?
[35:15] Speaker 2: Cross the hand. The issue is that When what.
[35:19] Speaker 3: God has promised. Look like it is slipping off your hands.
[35:22] Speaker 3: That is the exact time.
[35:23] Speaker 2: Fate is known. Do you understand what I am saying?
[35:27] Speaker 2: When it is clear. I may never have this thing again.
[35:34] Speaker 2: Let me give you an illustration of that. I want
[35:36] Speaker 2: to give you an illustration. Imagine. Look at this situation. Alright.
[35:42] Speaker 2: Look at this situation. God told you.
[35:47] Speaker 3: That this sister is your wife. Two months after God
[35:53] Speaker 3: said that, you didn't even know how to go and
[35:54] Speaker 3: meet her. You are just becoming friends, just gisting. This
[35:56] Speaker 3: is all these brothers that will be talking on WhatsApp.
[36:01] Speaker 2: Then the sister just sent a message to you. Please
[36:04] Speaker 2: pray along with me.
[36:05] Speaker 3: I'm having introduction with my fiancée. The first thing that
[36:12] Speaker 3: will happen is that saliva will dry from your mouth.
[36:15] Speaker 2: You are confused. You are sweating. You are all that.
[36:18] Speaker 3: She noticed that he didn't reply on time. And he
[36:21] Speaker 3: replied with, oh praise God. Are you following what I'm saying?
[36:27] Speaker 3: And then, maybe somehow you are expecting that when they
[36:31] Speaker 3: go for the introduction, they did the introduction clean and clear.
[36:37] Speaker 2: Everything happened.
[36:38] Speaker 3: And in your sincerity, you went back to God. He
[36:43] Speaker 3: did not say no, he didn't say yes. When God
[36:47] Speaker 3: has spoken, and situations are happening contrary to what he said,
[36:50] Speaker 3: And he did not speak again.
[36:52] Speaker 2: He is saying I am seeing where I was. Do
[36:55] Speaker 2: you understand what I am saying? Listen. It is very
[37:06] Speaker 2: easy to wait. When the wind is not that contrary.
[37:11] Speaker 2: But the moment. Everything happening. Is against. What God has
[37:17] Speaker 2: said he will do. That is when we know men
[37:18] Speaker 2: are faithful.
[37:21] Speaker 3: Even at that moment, my spiritual father has shared the
[37:24] Speaker 3: story himself so I can share.
[37:28] Speaker 2: It.
[37:29] Speaker 3: He had done introduction with somebody else. And God had
[37:33] Speaker 3: told him for over 10 years before that as your wife.
[37:36] Speaker 3: And the person has done introduction. After introduction, they went
[37:40] Speaker 3: to check genotype. They said the thing. They know what
[37:43] Speaker 3: it is. What I'm trying to show you Is that
[37:51] Speaker 3: sometimes God allowed the thing get to the extreme.
[37:54] Speaker 2: To see who you are.
[37:56] Speaker 3: He did the same thing with Abraham now. He said
[37:59] Speaker 3: kill Isaac. He did not talk on the road and
[38:03] Speaker 3: say Abraham you are a good man. It was until
[38:05] Speaker 3: Abraham tied Isaac and raised the knife. To slash his throat.
[38:10] Speaker 3: Then God said don't lay your hand on that guy.
[38:14] Speaker 3: Now I know that you fear me. What could have happened?
[38:17] Speaker 3: The same God is on the throne. Eat the venison
[38:20] Speaker 3: of Esau?
[38:21] Speaker 2: God said no.
[38:21] Speaker 3: Did I not say to you before that this belonged
[38:24] Speaker 3: to Jacob? God can interrupt. Rebekah and Jacob were too
[38:29] Speaker 3: fast because of fear. When you interrupt the process of God,
[38:33] Speaker 3: you elongate your wilderness experience. Are you following what I'm saying?
[38:42] Speaker 2: You elongate it.
[38:44] Speaker 3: You cannot get the result of faith in the energy
[38:47] Speaker 3: of the flesh. you cannot birth an Isaac.
[38:50] Speaker 2: In the flesh.
[38:53] Speaker 3: Listen now when you look at Abraham trusting God for
[38:56] Speaker 3: a child was he impotent but in Sarah will your
[39:02] Speaker 3: seed be called now God has said the seed I
[39:05] Speaker 3: want to give you this is the woman so the
[39:09] Speaker 3: issue was not Abraham's inability to impregnate other women he
[39:13] Speaker 3: could do that every day of his life and it
[39:16] Speaker 3: was proven with Agar.
[39:20] Speaker 2: He could do it. He could do anything he wanted
[39:24] Speaker 2: to do.
[39:26] Speaker 3: But faith now is, I choose to do it your way.
[39:30] Speaker 3: I'm saying the things you are waiting on God for,
[39:32] Speaker 3: you can do it your way. What God honors is
[39:37] Speaker 3: that you forsake your own way to say, I choose
[39:40] Speaker 3: to do it his way.
[39:43] Speaker 2: That's faith. Amen. Say, I walk in faith. Come on,
[39:47] Speaker 2: say it again. I walk in faith.
[39:50] Speaker 3: Alright, so I'm going somewhere with the story, this story
[39:53] Speaker 3: of Esau and Jacob. Okay, so let's turn our Bibles.
[39:59] Speaker 3: We read this on Sunday. I just want to reiterate,
[40:02] Speaker 3: then I show you a few things about this place. Alright,
[40:06] Speaker 3: so if you look at the life of Jacob, you
[40:09] Speaker 3: see smartness every time, trying to outsmart. He's a guy
[40:12] Speaker 3: with so many formulas. He knows the way.
[40:15] Speaker 2: No peace.
[40:15] Speaker 3: There's no rest for him. His head is always calculating.
[40:21] Speaker 3: If this one doesn't work, it will work. If Nigeria
[40:23] Speaker 3: doesn't work, Japan or UK. If UK, not D.
[40:28] Speaker 2: Jamaica or to Australia. You look at all this formula.
[40:33] Speaker 3: The person has options and you cannot see where God
[40:36] Speaker 3: is in the equation.
[40:40] Speaker 2: You can do life.
[40:45] Speaker 3: And you can have an economy that you can even
[40:47] Speaker 3: be preaching about. That is a product of you not
[40:50] Speaker 3: considering God. There is a success that you can actually
[40:55] Speaker 3: get outside God. But good success comes from waiting on Him.
[41:00] Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? So this guy,
[41:03] Speaker 3: no rest. Every time agitated. You look at the story,
[41:06] Speaker 3: Genesis 32. When they were going to go and meet Esau,
[41:09] Speaker 3: he has already divided the thing.
[41:10] Speaker 2: He has said, okay, you people should go here. I
[41:12] Speaker 2: will come.
[41:13] Speaker 3: Then another strategy is that we're going to send this.
[41:16] Speaker 3: And then when we send that, it's just like church.
[41:18] Speaker 3: Somebody is planting a church. This person doesn't pray, doesn't fast,
[41:21] Speaker 3: doesn't seek the face of God. Say that by time,
[41:25] Speaker 3: somebody will share with me something. Somebody went to plant
[41:28] Speaker 3: a church somewhere in a city. The person came to
[41:32] Speaker 3: the city with millions of naira. Millions of naira. Listen
[41:36] Speaker 3: to what I'm saying. Millions of naira. The fellow began
[41:38] Speaker 3: to say things like, we are going to take over
[41:40] Speaker 3: this city. We are going to take over this city.
[41:43] Speaker 3: We are going to take over.
[41:44] Speaker 2: When people are talking from their.
[41:46] Speaker 3: Own human advantage, it sounds like faith until that point
[41:50] Speaker 3: of the advantage is broken.
[41:53] Speaker 2: Where was he talking from? We will take over this
[41:55] Speaker 2: city because we have money.
[41:57] Speaker 3: So they will run service and every Sunday they sit
[42:00] Speaker 3: people down and share millions of Naira and say you
[42:03] Speaker 3: people will do this strategy for billboard, this strategy for that.
[42:07] Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. The one who came with God,
[42:11] Speaker 3: they will be looking at him ahead. Are you following
[42:14] Speaker 3: what I'm saying here?
[42:16] Speaker 2: Human effort. We run this strategy. At the end of
[42:20] Speaker 2: the day, you spend over 50 million Six members.
[42:25] Speaker 3: People will tell themselves that, ah, when I went to
[42:29] Speaker 3: that church, they gave food chicken, oh, for first time package.
[42:33] Speaker 2: Hostel people, they will tell their people in the hostel,
[42:36] Speaker 2: so you are you.
[42:37] Speaker 3: We will go around another church. If it is not grace,
[42:44] Speaker 3: it can't look like it. Are you following what I'm saying?
[42:51] Speaker 3: It is this smartness, oh, It is this wisdom. It
[42:55] Speaker 3: is this, I know what I can do. I know
[42:58] Speaker 3: what I should do. I know the route. I know
[43:01] Speaker 3: when you come to the end, you will find God.
[43:06] Speaker 2: You will.
[43:07] Speaker 3: Alright, let me quickly show you a few things. Alright,
[43:13] Speaker 3: so he went to meet Esau. Brother Esau said, listen,
[43:16] Speaker 3: I'm blessed. Alright, so keep the things you have brought
[43:18] Speaker 3: to yourself. Now, the Bible said something very profound. Genesis
[43:22] Speaker 3: chapter number 32 says, Genesis chapter number 32 Alright look at.
[43:27] Speaker 2: The story.
[43:29] Speaker 3: Verse 22 The Bible said And he rose up at
[43:33] Speaker 3: midnight And took his two wives And his two women
[43:37] Speaker 3: servants And his eleven sons And passed over The ford
[43:42] Speaker 3: of Jabbok And he took them And sent them over
[43:46] Speaker 3: the brook And sent them over That he had And
[43:53] Speaker 3: Jacob was left alone. And there he wrestled with a
[43:57] Speaker 3: man until the breaking of the day. Listen to what
[43:59] Speaker 3: I'm saying. The fight did not start until he was
[44:02] Speaker 3: left alone. There are situations where you are stripped of
[44:10] Speaker 3: people or people are stripped of you that you will cry.
[44:13] Speaker 3: But it is God positioning you to know him.
[44:23] Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying? That point you get to.
[44:29] Speaker 2: That you are left alone. That point. That is alone now.
[44:37] Speaker 3: That point. That point. As simple as we are saying it.
[44:42] Speaker 3: It is a tough point. For many to get to.
[44:46] Speaker 3: Is alone now fasting. Is alone now seeking the face
[44:49] Speaker 3: of God. you can get to that point through obedience
[44:53] Speaker 3: to the promptings of the Spirit, or God allows situations
[44:57] Speaker 3: of life get you to that point. Adversity can make
[45:00] Speaker 3: you be alone. Obedience can make you be alone. If
[45:05] Speaker 3: you would not choose the way of obedience, then God
[45:09] Speaker 3: is not going to bring adversity, but he will permit it.
[45:12] Speaker 3: That is, he will step aside and say that, go
[45:15] Speaker 3: and check him out. The devil, if the priests of
[45:19] Speaker 3: this world had known, they would not have crucified the
[45:21] Speaker 3: Lord of Glory.
[45:22] Speaker 2: See, listen, the devil is a schoolmaster.
[45:24] Speaker 3: When he thinks he's afflicting believers, he's actually assisting the
[45:28] Speaker 3: purpose of God in the life of believers. Anyway, anyhow,
[45:33] Speaker 3: for a man that God has decided to work with,
[45:36] Speaker 3: to be alone is a blessing. Look at all the
[45:42] Speaker 3: life of Jacob. All the life things. The father blessed him.
[45:45] Speaker 3: He went to wonder.
[45:47] Speaker 2: Finally. And Jacob was alone. The moment he was alone.
[45:53] Speaker 2: We found out God couldn't wait. Some of you need
[45:59] Speaker 2: to be alone. Three days. Three days.
[46:05] Speaker 3: Alone with God. Because you are not used to being alone.
[46:12] Speaker 3: It's not your thing. So you discover that when you
[46:15] Speaker 3: come to that point of being alone to read the Bible,
[46:18] Speaker 3: it is weird.
[46:20] Speaker 2: You don't know when you pick your mobile phone again.
[46:22] Speaker 2: Stop it. Be alone.
[46:26] Speaker 3: The phone is a world you escape into. Maybe the
[46:30] Speaker 3: screen is broken now so you can be alone. Maybe
[46:35] Speaker 3: it's now lagging and when you press it will stay
[46:38] Speaker 3: long so you can be alone. Maybe you can't even
[46:42] Speaker 3: afford to buy data now.
[46:45] Speaker 2: So you can be alone. Maybe the network of your
[46:48] Speaker 2: house is exceptionally bad. So you can be alone. Don't escape.
[46:58] Speaker 2: Don't run. Don't dodge. Don't hide.
[47:02] Speaker 3: Don't emotionally hide yourself. God wants to catch you in
[47:09] Speaker 3: the corner. The most beautiful things in our life, they
[47:15] Speaker 3: are bettered.
[47:16] Speaker 2: When we are alone. That's where you will hear clearly,
[47:20] Speaker 2: pure streams.
[47:22] Speaker 3: Many of us are in the midst of noise, agitations,
[47:25] Speaker 3: by this, by that. Too many comparisons on the internet.
[47:29] Speaker 3: People who are ahead, those who are behind. And you
[47:31] Speaker 3: forget that people post their best on the internet. And
[47:35] Speaker 3: you feel you are behind in God's purpose because you
[47:37] Speaker 3: are not alone. Comparing themselves with themselves, they become fools.
[47:43] Speaker 3: Because you are not alone.
[47:45] Speaker 2: The instruction God has.
[47:46] Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. The moment there is a
[47:48] Speaker 3: pregnancy a Mary is carrying. You cannot carry that pregnancy
[47:52] Speaker 3: to the midst of crowd. You must carry that pregnancy
[47:55] Speaker 3: to an Elizabeth. Who knows what it means to be alone.
[48:01] Speaker 3: There are instructions that will die. Once you take them
[48:04] Speaker 3: to where the crowd are. Even correct instructions will look wrong.
[48:07] Speaker 3: Because it's not at their level of maturity. Be careful
[48:11] Speaker 3: who check what God is saying with you. Particularly those
[48:15] Speaker 3: who are loud. Who are not working in that level.
[48:19] Speaker 3: Of devotion to God.
[48:23] Speaker 2: When people.
[48:24] Speaker 3: I tell people. People ask me. I said see. Have
[48:29] Speaker 3: a structure. To have moments in your life. That you
[48:33] Speaker 3: bolt the door behind you. And throw away the key.
[48:37] Speaker 3: Seeking just one thing.
[48:39] Speaker 2: Light. If you look at the tabernacle of old.
[48:44] Speaker 3: In the holies of holies, there is no light there.
[48:47] Speaker 2: The light of that place is the presence of God.
[48:51] Speaker 3: When you journey away from the noise and the cares
[48:54] Speaker 3: of life, you come to that place where the illumination
[48:57] Speaker 3: you receive is God. If you come out from that place,
[49:06] Speaker 3: you come out with that revelation.
[49:09] Speaker 2: The first thing, go and check. Pray, seek God.
[49:12] Speaker 3: God gives you instruction. The moment you come out, the
[49:15] Speaker 3: first thing you face is adversity. Whose target is to
[49:18] Speaker 3: kill the instructions? You can come out with a major
[49:22] Speaker 3: word for 2024. You just can't tell the reason why
[49:24] Speaker 3: your husband begin to misbehave. Or your wife begin to misbehave.
[49:28] Speaker 3: Or your children begin to misbehave. Because the seed that
[49:30] Speaker 3: fell on the rock is like one that receives the word.
[49:33] Speaker 2: And then the sun comes, which is adversity. But because
[49:36] Speaker 2: it has no root, it dies.
[49:41] Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. Don't just bear shoot upwards.
[49:45] Speaker 3: Bear root downwards. Root is a long journey. Shoot is
[49:50] Speaker 3: in the midst of crowd. Listen to what I'm saying.
[49:53] Speaker 2: Growth is two ways. Shoot and root and what? Shoot.
[49:59] Speaker 2: If you can preach better, they will say you have grown.
[50:02] Speaker 2: It's not true. Root first is that we now know
[50:05] Speaker 2: your prayer time has increased. That's root. Nobody is saying that.
[50:09] Speaker 2: Your study time has increased. That's a root. Nobody is
[50:13] Speaker 2: saying that. Your consecration has increased. That's a root. Nobody
[50:17] Speaker 2: is saying that. Your worship has increased. That's a root.
[50:21] Speaker 2: Nobody is saying that. When you have a root, you
[50:24] Speaker 2: will have shoot.
[50:30] Speaker 3: Many people, for the past 10 years, God has not
[50:34] Speaker 3: been able to get you alone.
[50:36] Speaker 2: If this job is not working, that job.
[50:39] Speaker 3: You have never paused and asked, what will you have
[50:43] Speaker 3: me do? And amazingly, that was the first question of
[50:47] Speaker 3: Paul when Jesus encountered him.
[50:51] Speaker 2: Lord, what will you have me do?
[50:58] Speaker 3: If that's the question you can ask in this season,
[51:04] Speaker 3: what should I do next? What's the next thing Lord?
[51:09] Speaker 3: What do you want from me? I know what it
[51:17] Speaker 3: means to be alone for years. Seven years. I want
[51:26] Speaker 3: to share a bit of my story. To finish campus,
[51:31] Speaker 3: we all had plans.
[51:34] Speaker 2: Had plans. Things we could do. Alright. I had plans.
[51:38] Speaker 2: I was ready to stay high in London. University of
[51:43] Speaker 2: Tropical Medicine. For Masters.
[51:48] Speaker 5: And.
[51:49] Speaker 2: My roommate. That we all were pastors. In that room.
[51:55] Speaker 2: Called all of us. At devotion in the morning. And
[51:58] Speaker 2: he said. I had a vision overnight. And he said.
[52:02] Speaker 2: I saw all of us walking in a vineyard.
[52:04] Speaker 3: And when it was time and everyone was submitting their cutlasses,
[52:08] Speaker 3: he said, you and I came to submit ours last.
[52:12] Speaker 3: And the owner of the vineyard said, we still have
[52:15] Speaker 3: two more years to work. So we separated ourselves, three
[52:19] Speaker 3: days dry fasting, saw the face of God, and God said,
[52:22] Speaker 3: stay with me in this land for another two years
[52:25] Speaker 3: in fasting and prayer daily.
[52:30] Speaker 2: So I began that two years. All right. Because at
[52:33] Speaker 2: some point we got to ask ourselves, how are we
[52:35] Speaker 2: going to survive?
[52:36] Speaker 3: We are men. You know what that means? It means
[52:39] Speaker 3: all our colleagues have gone for service. And they were
[52:42] Speaker 3: uploading pictures. And after service, because I was the pastor,
[52:47] Speaker 3: campus pastor. The people you pray for on campus, even
[52:50] Speaker 3: your juniors have gone. And they are coming back to
[52:53] Speaker 3: that same environment. And they are meeting you there. And
[52:57] Speaker 3: sometimes when you go for their meetings and they preach,
[52:59] Speaker 3: they are stylistically telling others how not to be like you.
[53:04] Speaker 2: Because when you say accept a greater first fall down.
[53:06] Speaker 3: To the ground and die. Do you know what that means?
[53:10] Speaker 3: You don't know any approach until you know death.
[53:15] Speaker 2: Go and check. Go to the mortuary. See how they
[53:17] Speaker 2: treat dead bodies. You will wonder.
[53:19] Speaker 3: There was a time this person was alive. They will
[53:21] Speaker 3: put the person there on the slab. The nakedness is open.
[53:27] Speaker 2: When there is death, there is shame. And it is
[53:30] Speaker 2: part of the growth process. Tell me you are strong.
[53:35] Speaker 2: If you have not faced death. Do you know what
[53:38] Speaker 2: it means to die? Not fainting.
[53:43] Speaker 3: At the point where there is no form of comeliness.
[53:49] Speaker 3: Where people can almost write and put full stuff. How
[53:53] Speaker 3: are the mighty falling? But that's when God is just
[53:56] Speaker 3: inventing a story. And I remember in the midst of
[54:02] Speaker 3: that situation.
[54:04] Speaker 2: Many times I will wake up in the morning. And
[54:08] Speaker 2: this one is saying. We have gone for lectures. We
[54:11] Speaker 2: have gone to work. And I will be in the room.
[54:15] Speaker 2: And I will hold the window of the room. And
[54:17] Speaker 2: shake it.
[54:18] Speaker 3: Loose me now.
[54:19] Speaker 2: Let me go. I am not a lazy man. An
[54:24] Speaker 2: instruction is binding you. You will hear it.
[54:28] Speaker 3: You can't see the one who said it. And you
[54:30] Speaker 3: know you can't jump out. Because you have signed a deal.
[54:37] Speaker 3: And sometimes you go for, are you following what I'm
[54:39] Speaker 3: saying here? What was I doing two years straight up?
[54:45] Speaker 3: Fasting and praying 6 to 6, 6 to 6, 6
[54:48] Speaker 3: to 6. Alright, what was I doing? One time I
[54:52] Speaker 3: tried to teach, God said resign, stay with me in
[54:54] Speaker 3: the place of prayer. I will carry my Bible and
[54:57] Speaker 3: dress with briefcase like I'm going to walk. Dress, tuck
[55:01] Speaker 3: in my shirt with tights. Are you following what I'm
[55:03] Speaker 3: saying there? Talking with Ty. Carry my briefcase.
[55:06] Speaker 2: What is inside?
[55:07] Speaker 3: Bible, book, and Kenneth Egan book, or some other books
[55:11] Speaker 3: I read. I will go and sit down. They already
[55:13] Speaker 3: gave me a prayer room in the orphanage room. I
[55:15] Speaker 3: will sit down there, study the Bible from this decision.
[55:18] Speaker 3: By the time I'm done studying at night, when they
[55:22] Speaker 3: are trying to, done studying and praying, when they are
[55:24] Speaker 3: now cooking for the orphans and the children, they will send.
[55:26] Speaker 2: One of them, go and give pastor his food. Ah,
[55:31] Speaker 2: that is the daily bread. We go again.
[55:34] Speaker 3: The following day. Seasons where you know. That you have
[55:46] Speaker 3: a message. But nobody is hearing it. If you talk
[55:51] Speaker 3: to people in your circle.
[55:53] Speaker 2: Small people. Everywhere is charged. But it looks like there is.
[55:58] Speaker 2: God insisted. The voice will not go beyond this. Because listen.
[56:02] Speaker 2: God is not ready to export a voice of a
[56:05] Speaker 2: man he has not matured.
[56:08] Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? This thing wants
[56:10] Speaker 3: to jump out of obscurity. You better be careful.
[56:19] Speaker 2: Be alone. Let God get you alone. Don't think Don't argue.
[56:35] Speaker 2: Just submit.
[56:36] Speaker 3: It's difficult for many people.
[56:42] Speaker 2: Okay. I give up now. What do you want? When
[56:48] Speaker 2: will you be done?
[56:50] Speaker 3: That's the question. When will you be tired? When will
[56:58] Speaker 3: you discover that The race is not to be swift.
[57:05] Speaker 3: And this battle is not to be strong.
[57:10] Speaker 2: When? Do you understand?
[57:16] Speaker 3: The moment one relationship ends, before it ends, you already
[57:19] Speaker 3: have somebody else in your mind as a replacement.
[57:22] Speaker 2: And you don't waste time.
[57:32] Speaker 3: And he rose up that night and took two of
[57:34] Speaker 3: his wives and two of his women servants and his
[57:37] Speaker 3: eleven sons and passed over the four jabok. And he
[57:42] Speaker 3: took them and sent them over the brook and sent
[57:45] Speaker 3: over all that he had. And Jacob was left alone.
[57:53] Speaker 3: Jacob was left alone. Jacob was left alone. No media interruption.
[58:03] Speaker 2: No internet. No phone calls. No disturbance. No friends. Alone
[58:08] Speaker 2: with God. You need it. You need it.
[58:13] Speaker 3: For some of you, this is a call for a retreat.
[58:18] Speaker 3: This is a call for a retreat. You are getting
[58:23] Speaker 3: too many unnecessary notifications. So, so, so, so, so, tag you.
[58:30] Speaker 2: Check.
[58:30] Speaker 6: Check.
[58:32] Speaker 2: You need it.
[58:36] Speaker 3: Ask your neighbor, when will you ever be alone? When
[58:45] Speaker 3: will you ever be without a woman in your life
[58:47] Speaker 3: saying I love you? No relationship and nobody in view.
[58:53] Speaker 3: Like two months, three months, four months, five months, six months,
[58:59] Speaker 3: seven months, eight months, nine months One here.
[59:06] Speaker 2: Let me show you a scripture.
[59:08] Speaker 3: James chapter number 1. James chapter number 1. I want
[59:15] Speaker 3: us to see something. Now look at it.
[59:19] Speaker 2: James chapter number 1.
[59:20] Speaker 3: Let's start reading from verse 3. James 1 verse 3.
[59:26] Speaker 2: Are you there? Are you there now? He said, knowing this,
[59:29] Speaker 2: that the trying of your faith works what? Patience. The
[59:33] Speaker 2: trying of your faith works what? Patience.
[59:36] Speaker 3: But let patience have a perfect work. Ah, they call
[59:40] Speaker 3: something patience. That's to let patience work. Ah, that's not funny.
[59:43] Speaker 3: There's this movie I watch, Zootopia. This cartoon.
[59:48] Speaker 2: Zootopia. In that Zootopia, there was a creature there. Alright?
[59:53] Speaker 2: That creature sloth. When that creature sloth say....
[1:00:01] Speaker 3: Have you tried to talk with people who are very
[1:00:05] Speaker 3: slow I say how are you opposed to I don't
[1:00:15] Speaker 3: have time.
[1:00:20] Speaker 4: I know why Are you shouting?
[1:00:31] Speaker 3: This is not stammering. This is being slow and meticulous.
[1:00:36] Speaker 3: So the Bible now says, this is patience. Now say,
[1:00:39] Speaker 3: allow patience to walk. And this is not just walk.
[1:00:44] Speaker 2: Let's have a perfect walk together.
[1:00:48] Speaker 3: If patience will work, you will cry. But patience now
[1:00:52] Speaker 3: need to do it meticulously. That is when it is done.
[1:00:55] Speaker 3: Now say, remaining the finishing touches.
[1:01:02] Speaker 2: Meaning that.
[1:01:04] Speaker 3: We cannot follow you if you have not true faith
[1:01:07] Speaker 3: and patience. That is the real faith work. There must
[1:01:10] Speaker 3: be a testimony of.
[1:01:11] Speaker 2: A time you waited. Let me tell you something. It
[1:01:15] Speaker 2: is not a work of faith if everything is instant. Instant.
[1:01:20] Speaker 2: How do we know Abraham was a man of faith?
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: He waited.
[1:01:24] Speaker 3: The moment you cannot wait, it is not faith.
[1:01:35] Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
[1:01:37] Speaker 3: I was going to show you this scripture later, but
[1:01:39] Speaker 3: let me show you now. Hebrews 11.22 Let me show
[1:01:44] Speaker 3: you that scripture.
[1:01:45] Speaker 2: Hebrews 11.22 I'm going to come back to this issue
[1:01:48] Speaker 2: of patience. Are you following what I'm saying? Are you
[1:01:52] Speaker 2: with me?
[1:01:53] Speaker 3: Hebrews chapter number 11. Let me be sure it is
[1:01:55] Speaker 3: that same scripture I want to show you.
[1:01:56] Speaker 2: Alright. Hebrews 11.
[1:02:01] Speaker 3: 22.
[1:02:02] Speaker 2: Alright. Okay. Let me be very sure. Hebrews chapter number
[1:02:08] Speaker 2: 11 verse 21. Sorry. 21. Look at this illustration I
[1:02:13] Speaker 2: want to give you. It says, By faith.
[1:02:16] Speaker 3: Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both the sons of
[1:02:19] Speaker 3: Joseph and worshipped, leaning on top of his staffs.
[1:02:24] Speaker 2: This is a very serious passage. Let me give you
[1:02:27] Speaker 2: an illustration.
[1:02:28] Speaker 3: Do we have anything that looks like a staff or
[1:02:30] Speaker 3: a mic stand? Is there something like that here? I
[1:02:32] Speaker 3: need something quickly. Do we have anything technical-wise? Okay, that's
[1:02:37] Speaker 3: a mic stand. I think he's doing a job there.
[1:02:40] Speaker 3: But find a way to bring it for me. I
[1:02:41] Speaker 3: want to show you what this scripture means. For you
[1:02:46] Speaker 3: to understand this, look at the book of Psalms 23.
[1:02:48] Speaker 3: Are you following me? Look at what the psalmist said
[1:02:55] Speaker 3: in Psalms 23. Psalms 23, alright, look at it, verse 4. Okay,
[1:03:00] Speaker 3: let me make it straight now. I want to show
[1:03:02] Speaker 3: you something. Psalms 23, verse 4. Look at what he said.
[1:03:05] Speaker 3: He said, Yea, though I walk through the valley of
[1:03:08] Speaker 3: the shadow of death, I will do what?
[1:03:11] Speaker 2: I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.
[1:03:14] Speaker 2: What brings comfort? Your rod and your what? Staff. Let
[1:03:20] Speaker 2: me tell you the difference. There's a clear difference.
[1:03:23] Speaker 3: When the Israelites were before the Red Sea, when Moses
[1:03:25] Speaker 3: was going to go and see Pharaoh, what did he
[1:03:27] Speaker 3: carry in his hand?
[1:03:28] Speaker 2: He said, he has a rod. What did God say?
[1:03:30] Speaker 2: Throw it down. The rod became what? Snake. Instant miracle.
[1:03:33] Speaker 2: Before the Red Sea, straight over the sea, the Red
[1:03:36] Speaker 2: Sea parted. Instant miracle. Alright? They need water from the rock.
[1:03:40] Speaker 2: Eat the rock with it. Speak to the rod. He
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: ate the rock. What happened? Instant miracle.
[1:03:44] Speaker 3: Roads are instant testimonies Staff are those you will enter
[1:03:48] Speaker 3: As a result of waiting Do you understand what I'm
[1:03:51] Speaker 3: saying You don't use staff for prestige You use it
[1:03:54] Speaker 3: for old age The road and the staff The instant
[1:03:59] Speaker 3: testimonies I get And the ones I learned Through waiting
[1:04:03] Speaker 3: The one I entered through maturity I waited on this
[1:04:07] Speaker 3: thing I did not see it I went through a
[1:04:09] Speaker 3: process I got more than what I was waiting for
[1:04:12] Speaker 3: I got a man Do you understand what I'm saying?
[1:04:20] Speaker 3: That is, you began to trust God.
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: For your future husband. You waited.
[1:04:25] Speaker 3: At the end of the day, God was not just
[1:04:27] Speaker 3: giving you a man. He was giving you a staff.
[1:04:29] Speaker 2: So what happened?
[1:04:30] Speaker 3: When the bones of Jacob was pulled out, he leaned
[1:04:34] Speaker 3: on his staff. This one that is now coming from
[1:04:37] Speaker 3: him is what he entered through maturity. The young generation
[1:04:44] Speaker 3: have erred. The fathers have starved. When they speak from there,
[1:04:53] Speaker 3: it is not just what is being released. This thing
[1:04:55] Speaker 3: has first.
[1:04:56] Speaker 2: Made a man. Oh God. Do you understand what I'm saying?
[1:05:05] Speaker 2: The same Jacob, the active man, the guy now began.
[1:05:11] Speaker 2: What was he doing? He was leaning Ah, when you
[1:05:15] Speaker 2: see the same person who used.
[1:05:19] Speaker 3: To jump around, now become so gentle, now become so calm,
[1:05:24] Speaker 3: now begin to give advice to the next generation, he
[1:05:27] Speaker 3: has found something.
[1:05:29] Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying there? Say it again.
[1:05:31] Speaker 3: When you read that scripture, you will read it differently.
[1:05:34] Speaker 3: So comfort is not just going to come through instant miracle.
[1:05:38] Speaker 3: The one you wait on God for, and it looks
[1:05:40] Speaker 3: like God is missing, is still comfort.
[1:05:43] Speaker 2: Say your Lord and your staff. They comfort me. They
[1:05:49] Speaker 2: comfort me. Alright.
[1:05:52] Speaker 3: Continue back to that scripture. That same James 1, I'm
[1:05:54] Speaker 3: showing you something. That same James chapter number 1, I'm
[1:05:58] Speaker 3: showing you something. Are you following what I'm saying? Is
[1:06:00] Speaker 3: this simple enough?
[1:06:01] Speaker 2: Alright. Look at it.
[1:06:02] Speaker 3: That same James 1, I'm showing you something very, very
[1:06:04] Speaker 3: important then. I want you to follow me.
[1:06:06] Speaker 2: Alright. James 1. Alright. So, it said... Let patience have
[1:06:17] Speaker 2: a what? Perfect work. That you may be what? Perfect.
[1:06:22] Speaker 2: And entire. Wanting nothing. That is when patience work in
[1:06:28] Speaker 2: a person. The person becomes wholesome. Let me say this
[1:06:32] Speaker 2: to you.
[1:06:33] Speaker 3: If you are produced too soon. You will not be rounded.
[1:06:38] Speaker 3: You won't be well cooked. Somebody Somebody went to post
[1:06:44] Speaker 3: about me on social media. And the person said, you
[1:06:47] Speaker 3: are not, this person put my name, say you are.
[1:06:49] Speaker 2: Not a man of God. God didn't call you. Fun fact,
[1:06:50] Speaker 2: you called yourself. I said, no problem. All right.
[1:06:54] Speaker 3: I know the generation I'm speaking to. I just muted
[1:06:58] Speaker 3: the account. Let me not see the nonsense. God said
[1:07:01] Speaker 3: to me, he said, if you mute this kind of people,
[1:07:04] Speaker 3: because you don't want to see, you won't grow.
[1:07:06] Speaker 2: Ah, I want to grow. I unmuted.
[1:07:09] Speaker 3: As I unmuted, I saw the person's write-up. I saw
[1:07:12] Speaker 3: one of my sons had gone to comment under it.
[1:07:14] Speaker 3: What you have said is a big statement, but you
[1:07:16] Speaker 3: may be right. As I read that, I said, fantastic.
[1:07:21] Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying.
[1:07:22] Speaker 2: I cannot react. Do you understand what I'm saying? When
[1:07:28] Speaker 2: you stay, this thing whips you. You do not have
[1:07:31] Speaker 2: the energy.
[1:07:37] Speaker 3: This energy you have, Something will take it away and
[1:07:40] Speaker 3: it's a very gruesome process.
[1:07:43] Speaker 2: You can't do criticism. Just like the military.
[1:07:48] Speaker 3: They ask you, what are you afraid of?
[1:07:50] Speaker 2: Is it height? Is it water?
[1:07:51] Speaker 3: That thing you fear is your weak point.
[1:07:53] Speaker 2: You'll be made to face it till it becomes your
[1:07:55] Speaker 2: strong point. What don't you like? Insult. That's what you
[1:07:59] Speaker 2: will eat. What do you hate? I hate nobody can
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: be rude to me. That thing, that's your next meal.
[1:08:08] Speaker 2: you will eat it. Are you following what I'm saying?
[1:08:13] Speaker 2: You will eat it till you say, I like it.
[1:08:20] Speaker 3: When you come to that point, that's when you are
[1:08:24] Speaker 3: ready to be served. Are you following what I'm saying here?
[1:08:30] Speaker 2: I'm telling you. Because you can just come out. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1:08:38] Speaker 2: Anybody can be loud. But it takes when patience has
[1:08:42] Speaker 2: worked for you to last. You will last. Again, I'm
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: saying you will last.
[1:08:50] Speaker 3: Alright.
[1:08:56] Speaker 2: Lift your hands. Say, Father help me. Lift your hands. Say,
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: help me. Help me. Help me. Help me.
[1:09:05] Speaker 3: Help me to come to the end of myself. My
[1:09:09] Speaker 3: smartness has not produced anything significant. It can be useful,
[1:09:15] Speaker 3: but God needs to help you rechannel it.
[1:09:22] Speaker 2: Help me. Help me.
[1:09:26] Speaker 4: Help me.
[1:09:31] Speaker 2: Just take one minute and pray that prayer as I continue.
[1:09:33] Speaker 3: Take one minute. Take one minute. Oh Jesus. Take one minute.
[1:09:46] Speaker 3: Take one minute.
[1:09:46] Speaker 2: Pray that prayer. Pray that prayer.
[1:09:48] Speaker 3: Take one minute.
[1:09:49] Speaker 2: Take one minute. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' mighty name
[1:10:01] Speaker 2: we are praying. Amen. Alright, please be seated. Let me
[1:10:05] Speaker 2: tell you something. Alright. Last year, September, almost all my
[1:10:10] Speaker 2: social media accounts were hacked and pulled down. We could not.
[1:10:16] Speaker 2: We could not open new accounts. In fact... The media
[1:10:21] Speaker 2: team were trying to open an account for me.
[1:10:23] Speaker 3: They asked the person in charge, the head of our
[1:10:25] Speaker 3: cyber security unit, they asked him, do you know Femula's house?
[1:10:29] Speaker 2: The moment he said yes, they blocked him off Facebook,
[1:10:31] Speaker 2: locked him out. They said, we need to go and
[1:10:35] Speaker 2: get a letter from the government, this, this, this, this,
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: for us to be able to do. I said, no problem.
[1:10:40] Speaker 3: Do you know that that event happened when God said,
[1:10:44] Speaker 3: I'm about to project your voice? I'm talking about when
[1:10:50] Speaker 3: God looks like a liar. That you can receive a prophecy.
[1:10:55] Speaker 3: And the moment that prophecy came, the opposite began to happen.
[1:10:59] Speaker 3: Let me tell you something. Let me tell you this story.
[1:11:03] Speaker 3: I was preaching in a medical school. One of my
[1:11:07] Speaker 3: friends came for that meeting. I didn't know what he
[1:11:10] Speaker 3: was going through. He said he knew that if I
[1:11:14] Speaker 3: should come for your meeting where you are teaching, I
[1:11:16] Speaker 3: will get the interpretation for what I'm going through.
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: I said, okay. So, we sat down in the hotel
[1:11:22] Speaker 2: room when I finished ministering. He said, I got my interpretation.
[1:11:25] Speaker 2: What was I teaching on? I was teaching on wonders
[1:11:27] Speaker 2: in heaven. Alright? Jewel 2.
[1:11:29] Speaker 3: He said, I will show wonders in heaven and wonders
[1:11:31] Speaker 3: on earth. That's what I was teaching on. Now, he
[1:11:34] Speaker 3: described the situation. Look at this situation. He was privileged
[1:11:38] Speaker 3: to be in a place. I won't mention the place.
[1:11:40] Speaker 3: In that place, within the space of one week, Pastor
[1:11:44] Speaker 3: Hiya Adebui, Bishop David Odebu, Dr. Paul Edneche, Pastor Bishop Ibiomiye,
[1:11:50] Speaker 3: In fact, there was a night that the five of
[1:11:55] Speaker 3: them surrounded him and they laid hands on him. When
[1:11:59] Speaker 3: he told me they laid hands on him, I said,
[1:12:00] Speaker 3: your problem just started.
[1:12:04] Speaker 2: Let me tell you now. Do you want to eat bones?
[1:12:09] Speaker 3: There are impartations that once you receive, what confronts that kind,
[1:12:13] Speaker 3: you will pass it first to enter. This one you
[1:12:20] Speaker 3: are just putting your head. Say pray for me. Be
[1:12:22] Speaker 3: sure now. You want to be enrolled in a school.
[1:12:24] Speaker 3: Be sure you pass.
[1:12:28] Speaker 2: I was thinking about wonders in heaven. That is.
[1:12:30] Speaker 3: What is a wonder on earth is not wonders in heaven.
[1:12:32] Speaker 3: Job was a wonder in heaven. That angels were wondering.
[1:12:36] Speaker 3: That this guy has lost everything.
[1:12:37] Speaker 2: He has lost wife. Lost children. Lost everything. Why is
[1:12:39] Speaker 2: he not denying God?
[1:12:40] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I am saying? You must understand
[1:12:46] Speaker 3: when your life is a wonder. At the lowest point
[1:12:49] Speaker 3: of yourself. When you are a reproach to men. And
[1:12:51] Speaker 3: you are in the will of God.
[1:12:53] Speaker 2: You are a wonder in heaven. You are a wonder
[1:12:57] Speaker 2: in heaven. Look at that scripture. Ephesians 3.10. Look at
[1:13:00] Speaker 2: this scripture.
[1:13:03] Speaker 3: Ephesians 3.10. To the intent that now unto principalities and powers.
[1:13:07] Speaker 3: In heavenly places. Might be made known. By the church
[1:13:10] Speaker 3: the manifold wisdom of God.
[1:13:12] Speaker 2: Look at this. Give me this in amplified translation quickly.
[1:13:15] Speaker 2: Look at this same scripture. Alright. Quickly. Quickly. Now look
[1:13:19] Speaker 2: at this. Look at this scripture. The purpose is that
[1:13:23] Speaker 2: through church. Through the church.
[1:13:25] Speaker 3: The complicated many-sided wisdom of God. In all his infinite variety.
[1:13:31] Speaker 3: An innumerable aspect might now be known. To the angelic
[1:13:35] Speaker 3: rulers and authorities. Principalities and powers. That is God wants
[1:13:39] Speaker 3: to use you. To show a part of his wisdom.
[1:13:44] Speaker 3: He wants to use you. To show another part of
[1:13:46] Speaker 3: his wisdom. He wants to use you. To show another
[1:13:49] Speaker 3: part of his wisdom.
[1:13:50] Speaker 2: Come.
[1:13:50] Speaker 3: He wants to use you. To show another part of
[1:13:53] Speaker 3: his wisdom. When you look at this person. It looks
[1:13:56] Speaker 3: like this person is at the lowest point of our life.
[1:13:58] Speaker 3: When we look at this person. It looks like this
[1:14:00] Speaker 3: person is at the highest peak of his life. When
[1:14:02] Speaker 3: we look at this person. It looks like this person
[1:14:04] Speaker 3: is even lost. We don't know what he's doing with
[1:14:05] Speaker 3: his life. When we look at this person. It looks
[1:14:07] Speaker 3: like this person is trying to.
[1:14:09] Speaker 2: And yet.
[1:14:10] Speaker 3: Everybody is speaking an aspect of God's wisdom. Nothing is
[1:14:14] Speaker 3: wrong with them. Just different aspect that has been spoken.
[1:14:17] Speaker 3: I am saying that there are physical indices that we're
[1:14:20] Speaker 3: used to judge who that something is wrong with. And
[1:14:23] Speaker 3: people can have those same indices in their life. And
[1:14:26] Speaker 3: according to God, they are fine. If you don't understand this,
[1:14:31] Speaker 3: you'll give yourself certain yardstick that prove that you are
[1:14:34] Speaker 3: in the middle, in the will of God. And when
[1:14:37] Speaker 3: you enter a dimension, are you following what I'm saying now?
[1:14:40] Speaker 3: That you are still in the will of God, but
[1:14:41] Speaker 3: there is no physical.
[1:14:42] Speaker 2: Thing to prove.
[1:14:45] Speaker 3: You begin to cut yourself to sizes. Now look at
[1:14:47] Speaker 3: my life now. Look at what I am now. Because
[1:14:50] Speaker 3: you have placed rationales that are not godly. Let me
[1:14:53] Speaker 3: ask you a question. Did the life of Job communicate
[1:14:57] Speaker 3: the wisdom of God? Are you aware that Job entered
[1:15:00] Speaker 3: trouble because God was boasting about him?
[1:15:05] Speaker 2: Hold on. It was the... Do you understand what I'm saying?
[1:15:12] Speaker 3: Meaning that if you ask, this kind of trouble is
[1:15:15] Speaker 3: because of his maturity. However, the nature of the attack
[1:15:20] Speaker 3: was suggested by his fears. You test your most quality object.
[1:15:28] Speaker 2: You test, you flaunt what is most quality.
[1:15:32] Speaker 3: There was a time in my life that when you
[1:15:34] Speaker 3: enter my room, my biggest asset was my trolley. What
[1:15:39] Speaker 3: did I have in that trolley?
[1:15:39] Speaker 2: My books. I put that trolley close to the door.
[1:15:41] Speaker 2: Once you enter, look at it. That's my life.
[1:15:48] Speaker 3: When you get to the point where God is beginning
[1:15:51] Speaker 3: to use you as a display of what his sons
[1:15:53] Speaker 3: have survived because they love him.
[1:15:57] Speaker 2: Okay. Please be seated. Hmm. Hmm.
[1:16:03] Speaker 3: Hmm.
[1:16:08] Speaker 2: There's this song.
[1:16:10] Speaker 6: I choose the way of the Lord. I choose the
[1:16:14] Speaker 6: way of the Lord. For the way of the Lord.
[1:16:23] Speaker 5: Is the way of wisdom. I choose the way of
[1:16:36] Speaker 5: the Lord I choose the way of the Lord Oh,
[1:16:49] Speaker 5: I choose the way of the Lord I choose the way.
[1:16:59] Speaker 4: Of the Lord.
[1:17:03] Speaker 6: For the way of the Lord is the way of wisdom.
[1:17:13] Speaker 5: I choose the way of the Lord.
[1:17:17] Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you, Father.
[1:17:18] Speaker 3: Alright, that's him, Genesis chapter number 32.
[1:17:23] Speaker 2: Let me show you a few things further, alright, because
[1:17:28] Speaker 2: Before we begin to round up now.
[1:17:29] Speaker 3: Genesis 32 Are you there now So where we have
[1:17:33] Speaker 3: gotten to is verse what Alright verse 23 And Jacob
[1:17:37] Speaker 3: was left alone And there resued A man until The
[1:17:43] Speaker 3: breaking of the day And when he saw That he
[1:17:47] Speaker 3: prevailed not against him Alright He touched the hollow Of
[1:17:53] Speaker 3: his thigh And the hollow of Jacob's thigh Was out
[1:17:57] Speaker 3: of joint.
[1:17:58] Speaker 2: As he wrestled with him. Now. What the angel did
[1:18:02] Speaker 2: was that. He removed the joint of his thigh. Alright.
[1:18:05] Speaker 2: And then. He could not stand again. He was limping.
[1:18:08] Speaker 2: I'm going to show you a scripture that shows that
[1:18:10] Speaker 2: he was limping. Alright. He could not show he was limping.
[1:18:14] Speaker 2: And he said. Let me go. For the day breaks.
[1:18:19] Speaker 2: And he said.
[1:18:21] Speaker 3: I will not let you go. Except you bless me.
[1:18:25] Speaker 3: And he said unto him, What is.
[1:18:31] Speaker 2: Your name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Your
[1:18:38] Speaker 2: name shall be no more Jacob, but Israel.
[1:18:43] Speaker 3: For as a prince, have power sorry have you power
[1:18:48] Speaker 3: with God and with men and you have prevailed and
[1:18:52] Speaker 3: Jacob asked him and said tell me I pray you
[1:18:55] Speaker 3: what is your name he too was asking.
[1:18:57] Speaker 2: What is your name and he said why is it
[1:19:03] Speaker 2: that you ask for my name and he blessed him.
[1:19:05] Speaker 3: There listen oh let me just give you simple plain
[1:19:09] Speaker 3: terms Simple plain terms. When God brings people that carry
[1:19:15] Speaker 3: the grace to change your life, don't tell them, physician,
[1:19:17] Speaker 3: heal yourself. There are people carrying the kingmaker anointing. They
[1:19:24] Speaker 3: can make you a king that they are not. Don't
[1:19:27] Speaker 3: ask them, what is your name? Some of you look
[1:19:31] Speaker 3: at people and size them up and say that this
[1:19:34] Speaker 3: person does not carry the grace to lead me because
[1:19:37] Speaker 3: he's not walking.
[1:19:38] Speaker 2: In the dimension I want to walk.
[1:19:49] Speaker 3: And Jacob called the name of that place Peniel. For
[1:19:54] Speaker 3: I have seen God face to face and my life
[1:19:56] Speaker 3: is preserved. And as he passed over Peniel, the sun
[1:20:02] Speaker 3: rose over him. The moment he got the change of name.
[1:20:07] Speaker 3: The moment he got the victory.
[1:20:09] Speaker 2: The sun. You know what that means?
[1:20:14] Speaker 3: Visibility. He has been hiding. He has been in hiding.
[1:20:19] Speaker 3: Agitation will hide you. When he conquers you, the sun
[1:20:23] Speaker 3: will rise. The things you were pursuing in the energy
[1:20:28] Speaker 3: of the flesh, they will begin to run after you.
[1:20:32] Speaker 2: And when he came out, suddenly, the sun, you see,
[1:20:39] Speaker 2: the Bible could have just said the sun shone. He said,
[1:20:41] Speaker 2: rose over him. He came out.
[1:20:46] Speaker 3: Have you seen people that you used to know and
[1:20:49] Speaker 3: they go to the place of prayer and come back
[1:20:51] Speaker 3: and they are different. It was Jacob that fought with angel.
[1:20:55] Speaker 3: It was Israel that came out. It was Israel. Israel
[1:21:01] Speaker 3: was bettered when the strength of Jacob died. How do
[1:21:08] Speaker 3: you say he prevailed just when you have wounded him?
[1:21:12] Speaker 2: When you have pulled his tie out of joint. For the. Listen.
[1:21:17] Speaker 3: For the rest of. Jacob's life. Or Israel's life. He
[1:21:23] Speaker 3: was a blessed limping man. Blessed limping man. He cannot
[1:21:29] Speaker 3: lay claim. On getting that blessing. By effort. Because this
[1:21:34] Speaker 3: is the scar. That it took me time to cooperate
[1:21:36] Speaker 3: with God. It took me time. The one you can
[1:21:39] Speaker 3: boast about. You are still Jacob.
[1:21:41] Speaker 2: Jacob. When he pulls out your tie. And we can
[1:21:44] Speaker 2: see the scar. You say listen.
[1:21:47] Speaker 3: It took me time. But it conquered me. I was
[1:21:50] Speaker 3: not that smart. I did not cooperate with him. I
[1:21:53] Speaker 3: don't have what it takes to boast. This is the blessing.
[1:21:56] Speaker 3: But this is the scar. I used to borrow money.
[1:22:08] Speaker 3: Till they embarrassed me. So I have been there before.
[1:22:12] Speaker 2: I'm limping.
[1:22:16] Speaker 3: My heart has been broken before. I've missed God's will
[1:22:20] Speaker 3: in a relationship before. This is this car and I'm limping.
[1:22:24] Speaker 3: I've hacked somebody out without hearing God was saying so before.
[1:22:28] Speaker 2: This is this car and I'm limping. What is this car?
[1:22:30] Speaker 2: The person has blocked you on WhatsApp. They block you
[1:22:33] Speaker 2: on Instagram. Say, this is this car.
[1:22:38] Speaker 3: At the end of the day, When you look at
[1:22:42] Speaker 3: your life as a blessed man, your scar also reminds
[1:22:45] Speaker 3: you of the fact that it's not of him that
[1:22:48] Speaker 3: will it, nor of him that have on it, but
[1:22:50] Speaker 3: of God that showeth mercy. Because each of those scars
[1:22:54] Speaker 3: are loud enough to disqualify you for life.
[1:22:58] Speaker 2: But it came true.
[1:23:01] Speaker 3: How can a nation be better just when a man
[1:23:03] Speaker 3: came to the end of himself? Israel is coming out.
[1:23:11] Speaker 3: I said Israel is coming out. I said Israel is
[1:23:14] Speaker 3: coming out. I said Israel is coming out.
[1:23:19] Speaker 2: Israel is coming out. Look at it.
[1:23:43] Speaker 3: And as he passed over Penuel, the sun rose on him. Ah,
[1:23:49] Speaker 3: that sun is going to rise over you. I'm telling you,
[1:23:53] Speaker 3: you are not going to die in obscurity. How can
[1:24:00] Speaker 3: you grow from a home where somebody promised you that
[1:24:06] Speaker 3: you are never going to get anywhere in life? And
[1:24:10] Speaker 3: the instruction God gave you just when you were about
[1:24:13] Speaker 3: getting somewhere in life was an instruction that make that
[1:24:16] Speaker 3: statement true. And as they do family meetings and you
[1:24:23] Speaker 3: join the family meetings, you see down there, you are
[1:24:26] Speaker 3: the reproach they said you would become.
[1:24:30] Speaker 2: But the grain of wheat is still in its dead face.
[1:24:33] Speaker 2: It will spring back again.
[1:24:39] Speaker 3: You will have to choose one Living your life to
[1:24:41] Speaker 3: prove a point that they were wrong or to obey God,
[1:24:45] Speaker 3: you will first prove them right. Then day two, we
[1:24:47] Speaker 3: now come to learn God through your obedience. It is
[1:24:59] Speaker 3: babyish to think when God gives you instruction, everything will
[1:25:02] Speaker 3: look good at once.
[1:25:04] Speaker 2: Some of you, God told you to come to Abuja.
[1:25:06] Speaker 2: You don't know why and he didn't say anything.
[1:25:19] Speaker 3: When he pulled out the hollow, in fact, what happened
[1:25:22] Speaker 3: to the thigh of Jacob was that the thigh became
[1:25:26] Speaker 3: thin and tiny.
[1:25:30] Speaker 2: Because the sinews around that thigh began to shrink.
[1:25:36] Speaker 3: The balling Jacob was the first agile guy. But the
[1:25:39] Speaker 3: prosperous Israel is the limping one. In his weakness, God
[1:25:44] Speaker 3: found strength. And God is glorified in it. And therefore,
[1:25:54] Speaker 3: the king of Israel, eat not of the sinew which shrank,
[1:25:59] Speaker 3: which is upon the whole of his thigh, unto this day.
[1:26:02] Speaker 3: Because he touched the whole of Jacob's thigh, and the
[1:26:04] Speaker 3: sinew has shrunk.
[1:26:18] Speaker 2: Do you have scars?
[1:26:27] Speaker 3: Scars that have resolved that are the contact point of
[1:26:31] Speaker 3: the anointing? The child That you have out of wedlock.
[1:26:43] Speaker 3: That you refuse to abort. Is the hollow of your
[1:26:46] Speaker 3: thigh that is pulled out. When you try to correct
[1:26:50] Speaker 3: some people.
[1:26:50] Speaker 2: They will tell you. Is this not your own? But
[1:26:54] Speaker 2: you are carrying the contact point. Of grace. Do you understand?
[1:27:02] Speaker 2: Do you understand that? You carry it. Carry your own.
[1:27:12] Speaker 3: You've been praying for people. Receive the fruit of the womb.
[1:27:16] Speaker 3: And you are waiting on God for yours. It's the
[1:27:19] Speaker 3: whole of your tie pulled out. And they say, look
[1:27:23] Speaker 3: at you. Do you have speed?
[1:27:26] Speaker 2: When you release words, it goes forth with power. People
[1:27:29] Speaker 2: get blessed.
[1:27:30] Speaker 3: But you go back home and trust God for what
[1:27:32] Speaker 3: to eat. It's the whole of your tie pulled out.
[1:27:44] Speaker 3: just when they succeed.
[1:27:45] Speaker 2: That's when you succeed too when you succeed he doesn't succeed.
[1:28:00] Speaker 3: At a point in my life i became everything i
[1:28:02] Speaker 3: preached against oh on campus i teach young people Now
[1:28:06] Speaker 3: you have to be serious with your life.
[1:28:07] Speaker 2: You have to be vibrant.
[1:28:08] Speaker 3: By the time you are done from school, you've got
[1:28:10] Speaker 3: to be able to do this. You've got to be
[1:28:11] Speaker 3: able to do that. And God was quiet.
[1:28:16] Speaker 2: He allowed me to preach all those messages till I finished.
[1:28:20] Speaker 3: And he said, all those things you have preached, now
[1:28:22] Speaker 3: this is my instruction for you. When God takes you
[1:28:27] Speaker 3: in a route where your message looks like a lie.
[1:28:31] Speaker 3: Let me just give you a few examples of bones.
[1:28:35] Speaker 2: A few examples. What does bones mean?
[1:28:40] Speaker 3: The bone that needs to be broken represents any form
[1:28:43] Speaker 3: of confidence outside God. Anything you have confidence in, that
[1:28:49] Speaker 3: is not God. Let me give you an illustration. You know,
[1:28:54] Speaker 3: there is a way somebody can promise you that I'm
[1:28:57] Speaker 3: going to send you 250 million naira to start that project.
[1:29:01] Speaker 3: All right, and this, this, this, and all that. Somebody
[1:29:04] Speaker 3: has sent you a text message, I'm going to do this.
[1:29:06] Speaker 3: The next minute, you are talking with your friends. You
[1:29:11] Speaker 3: now begin to say things like, do you know that
[1:29:14] Speaker 3: people like us can speak things to existence? We are
[1:29:16] Speaker 3: going to see it and all that. In fact, I
[1:29:19] Speaker 3: trust God. Another two weeks, I'm going to have 250 million.
[1:29:24] Speaker 3: What he's saying, when they are hearing him, they think
[1:29:27] Speaker 3: they are hearing faiths. He's actually speaking from an expectation
[1:29:31] Speaker 3: from man. That bone will have to break for him
[1:29:37] Speaker 3: to find God. So he will not be lying again.
[1:29:43] Speaker 3: This fellow will face disappointment.
[1:29:45] Speaker 2: When somebody now says, I'm going to send you this,
[1:29:47] Speaker 2: he will just be quiet.
[1:29:50] Speaker 3: People will be talking. He will just be quiet. He
[1:29:51] Speaker 3: will just be looking and say, we trust God. The
[1:29:56] Speaker 3: energy to talk. It has died.
[1:29:59] Speaker 2: God has mastered. Do you know what it means to
[1:30:01] Speaker 2: say God is Lord? A Lord masters a thing. Do
[1:30:05] Speaker 2: you understand what I'm saying?
[1:30:07] Speaker 3: Just when you see the thing is coming close, now
[1:30:09] Speaker 3: begin to speak it. A man of faith is the
[1:30:11] Speaker 3: one who says it when it doesn't look like it.
[1:30:14] Speaker 3: Not the one that is already looking at it and saying, this, this, this.
[1:30:16] Speaker 3: It's going to rain because the cloud has gathered. The
[1:30:18] Speaker 3: cloud will disappear. Any form of. And that is why.
[1:30:24] Speaker 3: That is why the relationship broke. You saw how long
[1:30:26] Speaker 3: it took you to recover. Because you stopped working with God.
[1:30:30] Speaker 3: And starting marriage. The moment the girl or the guy.
[1:30:33] Speaker 3: Took the seat of God in your life. Anybody who
[1:30:36] Speaker 3: take that seat. Is an Isaac that must die. Let
[1:30:47] Speaker 3: me tell you something.
[1:30:48] Speaker 2: Do you know.
[1:30:50] Speaker 3: It is in your best interest. That anybody you know that,
[1:30:54] Speaker 3: you tell somebody you are dating, you say you are
[1:30:57] Speaker 3: the proof of God's love to me. So Jesus is
[1:31:01] Speaker 3: not enough proof.
[1:31:02] Speaker 2: It won't work. Ah.
[1:31:11] Speaker 3: Anything you don't want to die, don't put it in
[1:31:16] Speaker 3: the seat of God. Let he that eat it be
[1:31:20] Speaker 3: as though he eats not. There is no amount of
[1:31:25] Speaker 3: money that can come to my hand now from experience
[1:31:29] Speaker 3: that can change my mood. Because I discovered in the
[1:31:33] Speaker 3: place of saying, I have hammer. That is when I
[1:31:36] Speaker 3: will hear the voice.
[1:31:37] Speaker 2: Drop it. It's not like I'm playing God. I just
[1:31:42] Speaker 2: discovered that. When it comes, I just say, God, what
[1:31:45] Speaker 2: do you want me to do with it? You understand
[1:31:47] Speaker 2: what I'm saying?
[1:31:48] Speaker 3: One time we bought a car, bought a new SUV,
[1:31:50] Speaker 3: brought the car to the house. I was going on
[1:31:51] Speaker 3: a trip. So we were waiting for the car so
[1:31:54] Speaker 3: I can go. We immediately brought the car. We started
[1:31:56] Speaker 3: trips with the car.
[1:31:57] Speaker 2: Alright. I just called my wife. I got to the hotel.
[1:32:00] Speaker 2: I lost my vision. I called my wife.
[1:32:01] Speaker 3: I said, the moment that car came, did your mood change?
[1:32:05] Speaker 2: She said, no.
[1:32:06] Speaker 3: If she had said yes, I would have sold that
[1:32:07] Speaker 3: car immediately. God is not going to give you another God.
[1:32:14] Speaker 3: Somebody may say, how is it that tough?
[1:32:15] Speaker 2: Relax.
[1:32:18] Speaker 3: God said to Abraham, go and sacrifice Isaac. your only son,
[1:32:23] Speaker 3: whom you love. You say, what about Ishmael? You don't
[1:32:27] Speaker 3: love Ishmael. God is not a fool now. The one
[1:32:32] Speaker 3: that knows what matters to you. Do you understand what
[1:32:37] Speaker 3: I'm saying? Alright, so bones represent any form of confidence
[1:32:47] Speaker 3: outside God. Look at the case study of Peter. When
[1:32:51] Speaker 3: Jesus said to Peter, he said, the devil has desire
[1:32:53] Speaker 3: to sit you like we pray for you.
[1:32:54] Speaker 2: Peter said, okay. He said, even tonight, none of.
[1:32:56] Speaker 3: You will be offended and you are going to deny
[1:32:59] Speaker 3: me three times. Peter said, I'm ready to die.
[1:33:05] Speaker 2: He was not joking. He meant it.
[1:33:08] Speaker 3: Just that the route was different. The moment they came
[1:33:12] Speaker 3: to arrest Jesus, he looked for cutlass.
[1:33:15] Speaker 2: Where's my cutlass? And he picked the cutlass.
[1:33:19] Speaker 3: The person that cut somebody's ears was not aiming for ears.
[1:33:22] Speaker 3: He was aiming for head. Think about it now. Can
[1:33:26] Speaker 3: you just pick cutlass and cut somebody's ears? He wanted
[1:33:28] Speaker 3: to pull the guy's head out. Then he cut the ears.
[1:33:33] Speaker 3: The moment Jesus picked the ears and got me back,
[1:33:37] Speaker 3: it occurred to Peter, this one is not sword fight.
[1:33:43] Speaker 2: I'm stranded. He ran. His confidence was in this word.
[1:33:49] Speaker 2: Some trust in horses. Others in chariots. But we will
[1:33:52] Speaker 2: put our trust in the name of the Lord. When
[1:33:57] Speaker 2: he saw that this is not my own method. He ran.
[1:34:01] Speaker 2: When he ran. A small girl said.
[1:34:04] Speaker 4: Peter.
[1:34:06] Speaker 2: Peter. Peter. Come, come, come. This is one of them.
[1:34:10] Speaker 2: I know this one, Peter. He was the one stopping
[1:34:12] Speaker 2: that guy when he was saying, Jesus, have mercy on me.
[1:34:14] Speaker 3: He almost slapped that guy. I know this man. Peter said,
[1:34:20] Speaker 3: if I know I might die. The Bible said, he
[1:34:26] Speaker 3: began to swear. After that, in one breath, he was saying,
[1:34:30] Speaker 3: I'm ready to die. In another breath, he said, if I.
[1:34:35] Speaker 3: Would we have believed that Peter Will be swearing about
[1:34:38] Speaker 3: not knowing Jesus.
[1:34:40] Speaker 2: Because the confidence. Was taken. The bone was broken.
[1:34:47] Speaker 3: Your bone represent. The bone that needs to be broken.
[1:34:50] Speaker 3: Represent anything you lean on.
[1:34:52] Speaker 2: Outside God.
[1:34:54] Speaker 3: That is even when you are in the ministry. And
[1:34:55] Speaker 3: say these are the highest givers in the ministry. And
[1:34:57] Speaker 3: the movers of things in the ministry. That bone will
[1:35:00] Speaker 3: have to break. God is the one who builds.
[1:35:03] Speaker 2: His church. Are you following what I am saying here?
[1:35:06] Speaker 2: Very very important. In fact, let me tell you something.
[1:35:09] Speaker 3: Your salary can be a bone that needs to break
[1:35:11] Speaker 3: once your salary becomes your confidence. That's the reason why
[1:35:17] Speaker 3: as God elevates you, you struggle with it. It's a
[1:35:20] Speaker 3: psychological thing. It becomes big in your mind. Are you
[1:35:23] Speaker 3: following what I'm saying here? It's a bone that needs
[1:35:27] Speaker 3: to break. When are you going to say, don't worry,
[1:35:29] Speaker 3: that project I planned for the end of the month.
[1:35:31] Speaker 3: You have deleted God from the equation of the blessing.
[1:35:35] Speaker 3: You have put your salary there. Do you understand what
[1:35:38] Speaker 3: I'm saying?
[1:35:38] Speaker 2: When are you going to do this month ending? They
[1:35:41] Speaker 2: call you from home.
[1:35:42] Speaker 3: When are you going to do this month ending? As
[1:35:45] Speaker 3: if God doesn't exist until that money comes by month ending.
[1:35:48] Speaker 2: It's a bone. It needs to break. Alright. The bone
[1:35:58] Speaker 2: that needs to.
[1:35:59] Speaker 3: Break represents anything that is conveniently promising you a future
[1:36:04] Speaker 3: that you don't need God for. Anything that seems to
[1:36:10] Speaker 3: be presenting for you a future you don't need God for.
[1:36:16] Speaker 2: It's a wrong thing. It needs to break.
[1:36:19] Speaker 3: Let me wrap up with this. God is never going
[1:36:22] Speaker 3: to give you what you will not need him for.
[1:36:26] Speaker 3: Is there somebody who is blessed tonight? Can I lead
[1:36:29] Speaker 3: you to pray?
[1:36:31] Speaker 2: Are you sure? I want to give you two minutes. Listen.
[1:36:35] Speaker 2: Find a spot between you and God. This is the prayer.
[1:36:40] Speaker 2: Father confront my life.
[1:36:42] Speaker 3: And check anything you need to break.
[1:36:46] Speaker 2: It's a very serious prayer. Now check me. Scan me now.
[1:36:52] Speaker 2: Scan me through and through. Scan me over and over again.
[1:36:57] Speaker 3: And check.
[1:37:01] Speaker 2: Scan me. Scan me. Alright I need to pray that prayer.
[1:37:07] Speaker 2: Scan me. Please pray. Yes, raise that sound. Please pray.
[1:37:16] Speaker 3: For some of you, this meeting might be a point
[1:37:18] Speaker 3: of God showing you that I know what I'm doing.
[1:37:22] Speaker 3: I know what I'm doing.
[1:37:24] Speaker 2: I know what I'm doing.
[1:37:28] Speaker 4: There is a place my.
[1:37:31] Speaker 2: Heart cries out for, Lord. There is a.
[1:37:37] Speaker 5: Place I am yearning for. It is the place where
[1:37:47] Speaker 5: deep calls to the deep.
[1:37:51] Speaker 1: I am overwhelmed by this deep longing Lord.
[1:37:58] Speaker 2: There is a place my heart cries out for Lord.
[1:38:06] Speaker 2: There is a.
[1:38:07] Speaker 3: Place I am yearning for.
[1:38:14] Speaker 2: It is the place where deep calls to the deep.
[1:38:21] Speaker 1: I am overwhelmed by this deep.
[1:38:25] Speaker 4: Longing, Lord.
[1:38:29] Speaker 5: Take me Lord, to your secret place, Lord.
[1:38:37] Speaker 2: Take me by your.
[1:38:38] Speaker 3: Hands to your holy place.
[1:38:45] Speaker 5: Let me see your face and your glory, Lord.
[1:38:53] Speaker 1: Let me know you more.
[1:38:56] Speaker 5: Then I have known you Lord.
[1:39:01] Speaker 3: Take me Lord To your.
[1:39:04] Speaker 7: Secret place Lord Take me by your hands To your
[1:39:12] Speaker 7: holy place Oh let me see your face And your
[1:39:21] Speaker 7: glory Lord.
[1:39:24] Speaker 2: Let me know you more. Than I have known you Lord.
[1:39:30] Speaker 2: Thank you Father. Oh yes. You are not failing. It
[1:39:39] Speaker 2: is just construction in process. In progress. Except a grain
[1:39:47] Speaker 2: of wheat falls to the ground and dies. It abides alone.
[1:39:53] Speaker 2: You are not failing. They've left you behind. It looks
[1:40:01] Speaker 2: like you are the odd one out. Wait. And let
[1:40:06] Speaker 2: patience have a perfect work. That you may be whole
[1:40:10] Speaker 2: and entire. Wanting nothing. Alright.
[1:40:15] Speaker 3: Lift your hands everyone wherever you stand. I further ask
[1:40:19] Speaker 3: concerning your children tonight. That as you revealed yourself to
[1:40:23] Speaker 3: Jacob in a different dimension. Let everyone under the sound
[1:40:27] Speaker 3: of my voice have a very special encounter with you.
[1:40:33] Speaker 3: Everywhere people have thrown away motivation and they are feeling
[1:40:37] Speaker 3: they have failed.
[1:40:38] Speaker 2: And it looks like they are the hard ones out.
[1:40:41] Speaker 3: I ask that you will reveal yourself as the master
[1:40:46] Speaker 3: over the storms. In the name of Jesus. My Father,
[1:40:51] Speaker 3: my God, I ask that there will be a scanning.
[1:40:54] Speaker 3: And you will check everything that needs to be taken out.
[1:40:57] Speaker 2: Of the way. In the name of Jesus. Help your children.
[1:41:01] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus.
[1:41:03] Speaker 3: Let this teaching become a message of your own counsel
[1:41:07] Speaker 3: for the body of Christ. In the name of Jesus.
[1:41:10] Speaker 3: We give you all the praise. In Jesus' mighty name,
[1:41:15] Speaker 3: we have prayed. I want to believe someone has been
[1:41:19] Speaker 3: blessed today. Give Jesus a very big hand.
[1:41:23] Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
