[0:49] Hi guys, it's Bec Judd.
[0:51] And Jess Roberts.
[0:53] Welcome to Vanish.
[0:55] Welcome.
[0:56] Hey, we don't have many blokes on this show doing tell-alls.
[0:59] We do not.
[1:01] But we've got a hot one today.
[1:02] We do.
[1:03] Who I'm Insta buddies with him and we DM each other.
[1:08] And I always comment on his photos because he is so bloody hot.
[1:13] He is.
[1:13] Like he is.
[1:15] like ripped.
[1:16] Ripped.
[1:17] And he's 48.
[1:18] I can't believe that.
[1:19] I thought he would be like 34, 35.
[1:21] It's Darren Palmer from The Block.
[1:23] The Block.
[1:24] The famous show, The Block.
[1:25] I love that show.
[1:27] It's the best.
[1:27] It is.
[1:28] Like the Sunday night reveals.
[1:29] I live for those.
[1:30] And I love his judging.
[1:32] Yeah.
[1:33] He's judgy judging.
[1:35] He's got great style.
[1:36] He's been on the block.
[1:37] He's been a judge on the block for a long time now.
[1:40] And I just love his personal style.
[1:41] He does a lot of his own renovations and he always inspires me.
[1:45] I think something that's really funny, if you go and have a look at his page or if you do a Google, you will see his gorgeous partner is like his twin.
[1:56] Yeah.
[1:57] They are identical gorgeous.
[1:59] Hot, hot, hot men.
[2:01] And we want to know all about their secrets.
[2:02] Yeah.
[2:03] What do they do?
[2:04] What's their skincare routine?
[2:05] Wow.
[2:05] Wellness.
[2:06] Yeah.
[2:07] Gym, the bodies, the everything.
[2:09] Everything.
[2:10] They glow and they gorge.
[2:12] And I want to glow just like him.
[2:14] Yes.
[2:15] Same.
[2:15] Darren, spill the beans.
[2:17] So welcome to Vanish Darren Palmer.
[2:20] Yeah.
[2:20] I think I'm in the right place.
[2:22] Yeah, you are.
[2:23] You are.
[2:23] It's safe.
[2:24] I am so inspired by you and your gorgeous husband.
[2:27] Is it Olivier?
[2:29] Is he French?
[2:29] Olivier.
[2:30] Olivier.
[2:31] He is a Parisian.
[2:33] Oh, stop.
[2:34] He has been in Australia for 28 years.
[2:37] If I talk to my in-law like this, they understand me better.
[2:40] Oh, my gosh.
[2:41] It is, c'est vrai.
[2:42] Oh, my gosh.
[2:43] Can you speak French?
[2:45] A petit peu.
[2:46] Not much.
[2:46] Not much.
[2:47] Very little, actually.
[2:49] That was very sexy.
[2:49] I can understand something.
[2:50] That was very sexy.
[2:51] But they do a great French accent.
[2:53] Yeah, you do.
[2:54] You do really good.
[2:55] Wow.
[2:56] So we were saying how we've just been creeping on you guys, and you guys are so freaking hot.
[3:01] Yes.
[3:01] Stop it.
[3:02] I know.
[3:03] It takes no effort.
[3:05] You wake up like that.
[3:06] You wake up like that.
[3:08] You are here because we want to know about the effort.
[3:11] The effort.
[3:12] Because we're going to copy.
[3:13] We're going to copy.
[3:14] Every single day is an effort.
[3:17] I know.
[3:17] You should see what this doesn't look like when I'm like not filming, Ugg boots, tracksuit pants, no spray tan, no beard dye.
[3:28] Oh, my God.
[3:28] I'm so sorry.
[3:29] Obviously, isn't it?
[3:29] That's us.
[3:30] That's me.
[3:31] No, that's me.
[3:32] School drop.
[3:32] School drop.
[3:33] That's me.
[3:33] Ones pyjamas.
[3:33] Yeah.
[3:34] No bra.
[3:35] Yeah.
[3:35] Out boots.
[3:36] No spray tan.
[3:37] My hair is like Britney Spears bun.
[3:39] Yeah.
[3:39] Extensions hanging out.
[3:40] Yeah, it's great.
[3:41] Yeah, yeah.
[3:41] And I'm kind of the same, but I always just have a cap and like nice sunnies on.
[3:45] Yeah, I don't.
[3:45] So when I do school drop, I kind of, I just shrink in my seat a bit so people just see the hat and the sunnies and look like I'm put together.
[3:52] Yeah.
[3:53] While I just get out of the car, like.
[3:54] Hello, everyone.
[3:55] I'm here.
[3:56] A train wreck.
[3:57] Please help me.
[3:57] I don't leave my house.
[3:58] Yeah, yeah.
[3:59] I have to do that.
[4:00] I need to send my kids on the bus and walk to school.
[4:03] So what are you up to right now?
[4:05] Right now, block.
[4:07] Block is all.
[4:07] Block is blocking.
[4:09] Yeah, block is so blocking.
[4:12] It is awesome.
[4:13] Yeah.
[4:13] And also, one-euro house.
[4:16] We filmed that in 2025.
[4:18] So that's on Channel 9 as well.
[4:20] Shana and I go to Sicily and renovate a house together.
[4:24] Oh, my God.
[4:24] Super fun.
[4:25] Stop.
[4:26] I know.
[4:27] Oh, my God.
[4:27] I want your job.
[4:28] Yes.
[4:29] Let's do a job swap.
[4:30] That leads me into a really funny story that I think is really appropriate for you guys.
[4:34] Yeah.
[4:34] I think you're going to like it.
[4:36] So I filmed that show, finished in October last year.
[4:40] And I had dinner with the EP like last weekend.
[4:44] I hadn't seen him for four months.
[4:45] Mm-hmm.
[4:46] Anyway, sit down opposite Gary, plump myself down.
[4:49] He goes, you look good.
[4:52] Have you done something?
[4:53] And I'm like –
[4:54] What haven't I done?
[4:55] I'm like, I've done so many things.
[4:57] All of the things.
[4:58] And he's like, well, what?
[5:00] I'm like, I had 20 veneers put in November on the way home from Sicily.
[5:05] Then I had a hair transplant.
[5:07] Then I've had some laser.
[5:08] I've had biostimulators.
[5:11] I've had a smidge of filler and, you know, muscle relaxants, just literally chewing gum these days for me.
[5:17] So, yeah, I've done a couple of things, mate.
[5:20] Yeah.
[5:21] And I'm glad you noticed, Gary.
[5:23] Because it took a whole lot of work and a lot of dosh to look this good.
[5:28] I love it.
[5:30] You are our vainish slogan.
[5:32] I did not wake up like this.
[5:35] I love it.
[5:35] But it looks so natural.
[5:37] It looks so good.
[5:38] Yeah.
[5:39] You are f***ing hot.
[5:40] Yeah.
[5:41] I just used to f*** off.
[5:42] I just used the second one.
[5:43] Sorry, Lies.
[5:44] Producer, you're going to have to beep us from now.
[5:46] That is very sweet of you to say.
[5:49] I'm so prepared for this conversation because I was going through my phone the other day because my phone reached its capacity.
[5:59] It was like you've got too many photos, right?
[6:02] I'm yourself.
[6:03] So I'm like, oh, I'm just like batch deleting stuff.
[6:06] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[6:06] And then selfies, yeah?
[6:08] So I go to my selfies and I was like,
[6:11] Oh, this is literally just before procedure after procedure.
[6:16] Literally after one, after the other.
[6:18] And it's not always great.
[6:23] We've had some moments.
[6:24] Oh, we've had a few.
[6:25] Oh, God.
[6:26] Like, you know, like there was a whole time.
[6:28] Go on.
[6:29] I'm so prepared for this conversation.
[6:32] A couple of years, a couple of seasons ago, maybe eight seasons ago, I changed injectable doctors and he sort of, you know, did a little bit of something.
[6:41] And I got papped like three days later at the block and it was Darren Palmer's face renovation.
[6:47] And I was, it wasn't flattering.
[6:51] And I literally just went straight to the doctor, went dissolve it all.
[6:54] Oh, yeah.
[6:54] Let's start again.
[6:56] Mm-hmm.
[6:56] There are quite a few minutes in those photographic memories where I'm like, ooh, I thought I looked good.
[7:04] Yeah.
[7:05] We've all been there.
[7:06] We all have.
[7:07] Yeah, I've done filler before and gone, I look so good.
[7:09] And then I look back at it, I'm like, whoa, I look puffy, not right, lopsided.
[7:15] And then, yeah, dissolve it all, dissolve it all.
[7:17] It's the filler under the eyes and the top of the cheeks that joins.
[7:21] And we've had the filler expert on who says it absorbs and draws all the hydration.
[7:27] So it gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
[7:30] I just dissolved all of mine and put fat in there instead.
[7:32] Yeah.
[7:33] Way better.
[7:34] Yeah.
[7:34] Amazing.
[7:35] I'm headed in this direction for sure.
[7:38] I just don't have the capital expenditure.
[7:41] That's the same thing.
[7:41] I'm like, that is my goal by the end of this year.
[7:43] I'm just waiting for my finances to get in place.
[7:46] I'll be getting the full face clip.
[7:47] Do you know what?
[7:48] We need you to sell a few more ads on Vanish.
[7:51] Guys, if you are listening and you want to sponsor Jess's fat transfer.
[7:55] And Darren's.
[7:56] And Darren's.
[7:58] I've already had mine.
[7:59] A little lower.
[8:00] Just on board.
[8:01] And we will document the whole thing.
[8:04] Yeah, yeah, document the whole thing.
[8:06] I like the Brad Pitt, mate.
[8:07] That's what I want.
[8:08] Yes.
[8:08] How good?
[8:09] The Brad Pitt or the Ricky Martin?
[8:11] Yeah.
[8:11] Oh, Ricky.
[8:12] He's good.
[8:12] And you know what?
[8:13] Still hot and still masculine.
[8:15] That's what you want to be.
[8:16] And it's also subtle.
[8:17] Everything's just so subtle with guys.
[8:19] It's really good.
[8:20] Not overdone.
[8:20] There's so many things you can't do as a man.
[8:22] Yeah.
[8:23] Like what?
[8:24] You can't do an upper bleph.
[8:25] You look like super weird.
[8:29] Kenny Rogers.
[8:30] Yes.
[8:31] I'm awake.
[8:32] Yeah.
[8:33] And there was the other one.
[8:34] What's his name?
[8:35] Bradley Cooper.
[8:36] That's it.
[8:37] Bradley Cooper.
[8:37] You know what it is?
[8:38] I think you need to go to the right surgeon who can follow your natural eye shape because they're all hollowing out too much on the inner upper corner where that needs to be more of a slant and then open up towards the edge based on your natural, like your before shot of when you were maybe 20 years old or whatever.
[8:57] Yeah.
[8:57] I had that folder.
[8:58] They're just going in and cutting out the whole thing.
[9:02] Yeah.
[9:02] And they're looking very hollow and not quite right.
[9:04] I have to go to Russia.
[9:05] Yeah.
[9:06] Oh, yeah, they do a good one.
[9:07] Yeah.
[9:08] Hey, I want to take it back.
[9:09] I want to know.
[9:10] Sorry, I just gave you all the stories.
[9:12] It's made up front.
[9:12] Like, spread it out the gate.
[9:14] I love it.
[9:15] You've always been vain-ish or was there a point in your career or in your life where you changed and became more into it?
[9:24] Like for me, I just remember even at school when I was six, seven, eight, I would, you know, always push it with lip glosses, had a bit of a colour in them.
[9:32] I'd always make sure my hair was perfect every day, like specific hairstyles.
[9:37] Like I've been vain since I came out of the womb.
[9:40] You know, like on Instagram, they show teenagers now and teenagers in the 80s?
[9:45] Yeah, it's so different.
[9:46] That.
[9:47] So, like, I'm 48 years old, right?
[9:49] So, I have… You look 32?
[9:53] Yeah, I'm 32, 33.
[9:54] I love it when people say that I look like at least 10 years younger.
[9:58] I like to tell people I'm 75 because they're like…
[10:01] Wow!
[10:01] You look amazing!
[10:03] I did the whole like, I'm like, how old are you?
[10:04] I'm like 35.
[10:05] And they're like, what?
[10:07] I'm like, does that make me look really old?
[10:09] Right, you're like, wait.
[10:10] Which way are we going?
[10:11] Oh, we just thought you were a bit older because of all my friends are older.
[10:14] Yeah, because I'm old.
[10:14] Yeah.
[10:17] I think that's what it is.
[10:18] And I've got a 14-year-old kid, so everyone just thinks I'm a lot older.
[10:21] I'm like, ugh.
[10:22] It's a child bride.
[10:23] Yeah.
[10:24] Maybe I should just say that I'm 55.
[10:25] Yeah.
[10:26] You look really good for 55.
[10:27] I go for 75 every time.
[10:28] 75.
[10:28] I'm like, I'm sure.
[10:30] So when did you become vain?
[10:31] Like, when did you start delving in beauty and wellness?
[10:35] So, like, when I was a teen, it was not great.
[10:38] Like, I had bad acne.
[10:40] I had big, like, very thick, curly, boofy hair.
[10:44] Yeah.
[10:45] And, yeah, not good.
[10:47] So then I went through this sort of Eddie Vedder grunge phase and I had hair down to here.
[10:52] Oh, no way.
[10:53] Nipple hair.
[10:54] Yeah, it's like Moana hair too, right?
[10:56] Oh, because it's curly.
[10:57] Very, very cool.
[10:58] Are there any photos of that?
[10:59] Hell no.
[11:01] They're all deleted, man.
[11:02] They're all deleted.
[11:03] Are you mental?
[11:04] The camera's burned.
[11:04] Yeah, there you are.
[11:06] High school yearbook.
[11:07] And then I came out and actually it's funny.
[11:12] Like I was gay and had that long hair.
[11:15] Yeah.
[11:15] Like in my early 20s.
[11:17] And then I cut my hair and I went out to a bar one weekend.
[11:20] I was talking to like one of my best mates.
[11:23] Yeah.
[11:23] And he's like, hi.
[11:24] And I'm like, hey.
[11:26] And he went.
[11:29] Oh, my God, stop.
[11:29] I'm like, it's me, man.
[11:31] What are you doing?
[11:32] And he's like, whoa, okay.
[11:34] Like, huge change.
[11:35] I went to, like, you know, that George Clooney, like, the Roman cut?
[11:39] Yeah.
[11:40] From, like, here to that.
[11:41] Yeah.
[11:42] And then I was like...
[11:44] huh, okay, there's something interesting in this.
[11:47] Yeah.
[11:48] And then it all just.
[11:49] Yeah, right.
[11:51] Went from there.
[11:51] Went from vain.
[11:53] And also I married my beautiful husband.
[11:56] Olivier.
[11:56] Olivier when he was, when I was 32.
[11:59] Yeah.
[12:00] And also, truthfully, up until that point, and not that long after we got married, I really had not a lot of money.
[12:08] Mm.
[12:08] Like really not.
[12:10] Mm.
[12:10] And I didn't ever think I would have the disposable income to be able to invest in how I look.
[12:16] I thought it was just unattainable to me.
[12:18] Yeah.
[12:18] And so my beautiful husband, who is a cosmetics industry expert, so some context, said to me as we were getting married, he was like –
[12:31] I don't want you to take this the wrong way.
[12:34] But if you want anything done before the wedding, a refresh, I'll pay for it.
[12:44] It's fine.
[12:45] It's fine.
[12:46] Yeah.
[12:46] And I was like –
[12:48] What's the budget?
[12:49] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[12:50] And what do I need?
[12:52] Do you think I'm going to be offended by that?
[12:55] Because yes.
[12:57] I love it.
[12:59] You think we look similar now?
[13:00] We looked identical in our wedding photo.
[13:03] Oh, my God.
[13:04] It's so wrong.
[13:05] Oh, that is so good.
[13:06] So, yeah.
[13:07] And then it started from there.
[13:08] And then, you know, because he is a sort of, he was the MD of Elizabeth Arden.
[13:12] He was the CEO of Ultrasuticals.
[13:14] He was, he's like, he's an industry expert, expert, board of directors guy.
[13:19] You married smart.
[13:21] Yeah.
[13:22] And he's hot.
[13:23] And he knows what's good.
[13:24] Yes.
[13:25] And he knows what's efficacious.
[13:26] Exactly.
[13:27] And so it's all about efficacy for me and I'm really interested in the science of it and he knows everything about everything.
[13:33] So anything that is, you know, efficacious and sensible and attainable and in our opinion safe, we're like, cool, great.
[13:44] Yeah.
[13:44] Let's go.
[13:45] Oh, my God, how good.
[13:46] Oh, my God.
[13:47] How good.
[13:48] So what does your daily skincare hair grooming routine look like?
[13:52] You touched on your hair transplant.
[13:54] Your hair looks amazing.
[13:56] Thank you.
[13:56] Is that Turkey?
[13:57] Where did you go?
[13:58] No, I went to Bondi.
[13:59] Oh, really?
[14:00] Bondi.
[14:01] Good old Bondi.
[14:01] Okay.
[14:02] I do the maths, you know, because I was like, okay, hang on.
[14:05] I could go to Turkey.
[14:06] And one, I don't know if there's going to be a doctor doing it or someone in a clinic.
[14:11] Yeah.
[14:11] Two, I don't know...
[14:14] anybody there at all, at three, I'd have to pay for a flight, I'd have to be there, I would have to pay for a comm, and I'd have to fly back while you're still not – Healing.
[14:25] Yeah.
[14:26] And you shouldn't be really in pressurized environments and stuff for like a week or two at least.
[14:30] So I was like, why don't you do all the maths on that and get it done here?
[14:34] Yeah, so true.
[14:35] And it's like obviously you know what you're getting –
[14:37] So I got that done and, again, I mean, yes, because I'm vanish, yes.
[14:42] Like I always had this haircut.
[14:43] You can't see much difference except it was just covering up a little bit of receding and, you know, probably another, let's say, inch of forehead.
[14:52] And it's about facial balancing.
[14:55] How long ago did you get it?
[14:56] End of November.
[14:57] Oh, cool.
[14:59] But let's take it back to your usual skin care.
[15:02] Especially keen to hear about this given your husband's expertise.
[15:04] Yeah.
[15:05] Okay, so I do whatever he tells me because he's the expert and I just do what I'm told.
[15:10] Yeah, and also you look amazing.
[15:12] So you must look in the mirror and go, yep, it's working.
[15:15] Yeah.
[15:15] Well, like he's given me the foundation knowledge of retinols do this and, you know.
[15:21] Vitamin Cs do this.
[15:22] Bing, bing, bing, bing.
[15:23] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[15:24] That does that, that does that, that does that.
[15:26] Process and layering, no idea.
[15:28] I just do – he's like put that on, then that, then that, right?
[15:31] Yeah.
[15:31] But I'm not –
[15:33] hyper diligent with it because like he is he's really rigorous I literally would just do what he tells me and like
[15:40] Yeah.
[15:40] Can you just be like, can you just do my skin for me?
[15:42] Kinda.
[15:43] My husband's a dentist and he's like, Jess, brush your teeth.
[15:45] I'm like, can you just do it?
[15:46] That's why I married you.
[15:48] That's a next level of outsourcing.
[15:53] It's more the flossing.
[15:54] Like I brush my teeth, but he's always like, Jess, you need to floss.
[15:56] I was like, dude, what are you here for?
[15:59] Like floss.
[15:59] You floss everybody else's gob.
[16:01] Like floss side.
[16:02] He's like, no.
[16:03] I'm like, well, I'm not flossing then.
[16:04] Wait.
[16:06] Are you sure that's a great idea?
[16:08] Lossie.
[16:09] No, getting your husband to do it.
[16:11] Oh, yeah.
[16:11] I've been married 15 years.
[16:13] I don't even like her husband in my mouth.
[16:14] I'm like, it's weird.
[16:16] Okay.
[16:16] It's weird.
[16:16] You want to restate the way you said that?
[16:20] I don't think that came out right.
[16:23] It did.
[16:25] I went to BC Dental, which is Val's dentist that he owns.
[16:29] And Val's like, come in.
[16:30] I'll see him.
[16:31] I'm like, I don't want you in my mouth, Val.
[16:33] She's like, I'm scared he's going to judge me.
[16:35] He's going to judge me.
[16:37] I don't want you, like, cracking off all my, like, weird stuff on my teeth.
[16:41] Yeah, yeah.
[16:41] Like, no, so I see all his stuff, all his other dentists he employs, and I'm happy to see them, but I do not want your husband in my mouth.
[16:48] Mm-hmm.
[16:49] No, I – yeah, no.
[16:50] The more you say it, it doesn't get better than here.
[16:52] I just – anyway.
[16:53] I know, I don't say it.
[16:54] But again, it's weird.
[16:55] Just the tip.
[16:56] It's called the Unhinged Spadish Podcast.
[17:04] Where we have gone in a direction.
[17:06] Okay.
[17:06] Anyway, sorry.
[17:09] Skincare, I do whatever he tells me.
[17:13] Literally, it's a two-speed economy.
[17:15] Yeah.
[17:15] Right?
[17:15] So do you do like a cleanser in the morning, every morning, or just –
[17:19] Like in the shower.
[17:20] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[17:21] I am surprisingly low maintenance.
[17:24] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[17:25] Because I do all the other stuff to maintain.
[17:27] Like your biostimers and all that.
[17:29] Yeah, like Olivier's advice many years ago was that there is the frame and then there's the canvas.
[17:36] And, you know, the frame is your scaffolding underneath and then the canvas is your skin.
[17:43] And so if you look at it from the inside out and also from topically,
[17:47] Then you end up with good skin texture.
[17:49] And for me, that's things like lasers.
[17:51] Yeah, biostimulators.
[17:52] Yeah, biostimulators.
[17:54] I stay out of the sun.
[17:55] Yeah.
[17:55] Don't go in the sun.
[17:56] Yeah.
[17:56] I don't leave the house without SPF.
[17:58] Yeah.
[17:59] I always wear SPF on my face and neck.
[18:01] Whatever I do on my face, I do on my neck.
[18:04] So there's that.
[18:05] But honestly, there's literally two versions of this.
[18:09] There's like –
[18:11] I've dyed my beard and put a spray tan on and I've had all the things that I need to get so I feel like I'm fresh and put together.
[18:20] Or nothing.
[18:22] And what time of the year is the nothing?
[18:25] When I'm not filming anything.
[18:26] When I'm not filming anything.
[18:28] Sometimes we're in Byron Bay at our place and I'm literally just trainers and gym clothes.
[18:35] Well, actually, that's pretty much what I wear all day, every day.
[18:39] I don't.
[18:39] Just sometimes you have a spray tan and sometimes you don't.
[18:41] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[18:42] And it forgives all sorts of redness and evens out all sorts of imperfections.
[18:47] I have to say, when I do do a spray tan on my face, I always like, I just wake up ready.
[18:52] Yeah.
[18:52] It's almost like a… It's so good.
[18:53] Like a foundation in a way.
[18:54] You know what?
[18:55] It gets rid of…
[18:56] For women, I find that it shadows or kind of disguises cellulite as well.
[19:01] Veins, bruises.
[19:04] Yeah.
[19:04] It is so amazing.
[19:06] It's so amazing.
[19:07] 100% the hack.
[19:11] And for men, the hacks are, one, always wear SPF.
[19:15] Two, a spray tan is as good as God, right?
[19:19] And then three, beard dye.
[19:21] Okay, I was going to ask about that.
[19:22] She dyes her beard too.
[19:24] Yeah.
[19:26] Wait.
[19:28] What?
[19:28] True.
[19:28] She does.
[19:29] I bleach my moustache.
[19:31] I don't have a beard.
[19:32] Wow.
[19:32] Cool.
[19:32] That is not what I pictured.
[19:34] And my sideburns.
[19:35] I'm Maori.
[19:37] So my dad's full ginger and my mum's Maori.
[19:41] And so I have a very hairy moustache.
[19:43] So I bleach the shit out of it.
[19:45] But it's funny because you don't.
[19:46] And I just take the top off my eyebrows so they're more brown than black.
[19:51] Different to what you do, I assume you're adding color to your beard.
[19:56] But talk to me about beard dye because my husband needs it because his whole beard's gone white now.
[20:00] Yeah.
[20:00] Well, can I tell you the product now?
[20:02] Yes, please.
[20:03] So Just For Men.
[20:03] Just For Men's beard dye, it's like a little two-part thing and a little brush.
[20:08] It doesn't have ammonia in it so it doesn't smell and doesn't burn.
[20:11] Some people have allergy issues.
[20:13] You need to be the face of this.
[20:14] You need to be on the box.
[20:15] I literally am.
[20:16] Are you on the box?
[20:17] No, I'm not, but like this is it.
[20:20] You will be now.
[20:21] Just for men, beard dye in what color?
[20:22] This is a good color.
[20:23] It's not too dark and it doesn't have a funny tinge to it.
[20:26] Yeah, I would say natural brown.
[20:27] Yeah.
[20:28] It's natural brown or mid-brown.
[20:31] Dark brown is a bit too dark.
[20:32] But here's the thing.
[20:33] My eyebrows are blonde.
[20:35] Ooh.
[20:36] And my mustache is blonde.
[20:38] Wow.
[20:39] Right?
[20:39] And your hair?
[20:40] And my hair is – this is natural.
[20:41] I don't touch what's on my head.
[20:43] Really?
[20:43] Not really.
[20:43] Not really.
[20:44] Yeah, but this is all natural.
[20:45] Salt and pepper, that's hot.
[20:46] So what were you when you were younger?
[20:47] What color hair?
[20:48] Were you blonde at all?
[20:49] No, always this.
[20:50] Always that.
[20:51] But I've always had light eyebrows and I had literally – I used to have like quite a blonde photo of it.
[20:58] Do you want to swap mustaches?
[21:01] I think mine's a little bit more robust than yours.
[21:04] I'll take a blonde and I'll give you my black.
[21:06] Yeah, yeah.
[21:07] And then probably 10 years ago, I got two really big gray patches here.
[21:11] Yeah, that's usually the place.
[21:12] And like literally there and they were just white.
[21:15] Yeah.
[21:15] Before I had any salt and pepper.
[21:17] So I'm like, okay, I'll just touch that up.
[21:18] And I was like, ooh.
[21:19] This looks good.
[21:20] That takes a few.
[21:21] And then I realized apart from facial ratios, it's also about contrast.
[21:29] And it's like a design principle.
[21:31] It's like, oh, that makes sense because as men get older and they get greyer and their eyebrows go grey and their beards go grey, if their skin is also pale, there's no contrast, right?
[21:42] That's why George Clooney looks hot, grey, because he's got brown skin.
[21:45] Brown skin, yeah.
[21:47] Oh, my goodness.
[21:47] Okay.
[21:48] So...
[21:49] My husband needs a spray tan.
[21:51] That's a beard dye.
[21:53] He's still hot.
[21:53] He's so hot.
[21:54] Can I mention another product?
[21:57] Yeah.
[21:57] Like for your husband?
[21:58] Yeah.
[21:59] It's Man Tan.
[22:00] Man Tan.
[22:01] Yeah.
[22:02] Is this what you use?
[22:02] Is this your spray tan?
[22:03] Yeah, I use this.
[22:04] I was going to say my husband doesn't need tan.
[22:06] Same.
[22:06] A mitt.
[22:07] Yeah.
[22:07] And like you put it on.
[22:08] So you do it yourself?
[22:09] Yeah, yeah.
[22:10] And it's clear.
[22:11] It goes on clear.
[22:12] You can go to bed.
[22:13] It doesn't smell.
[22:13] It doesn't like do anything to your sheets-ish.
[22:16] Yeah.
[22:16] And you wake up and you're done this.
[22:18] Yeah.
[22:18] So what's it called again?
[22:19] Man tan.
[22:20] Man tan.
[22:20] Where do we get it online?
[22:22] Chemist Warehouse.
[22:22] Chemist Warehouse.
[22:23] Oh, my God.
[22:23] I love this.
[22:24] This is so good.
[22:25] I would actually probably use that for my own face.
[22:28] So what does your husband think about?
[22:29] Because I know some people in the cosmetic industry say don't put tan on your face because it clogs up your pores and dries your pores.
[22:37] Your husband's like, no, it's fine.
[22:38] I mean, dries your pores, gives you a little bit of a, like, a...
[22:42] I guess it shrinks.
[22:42] Tightness, doesn't it?
[22:43] Yeah, it does, yeah.
[22:44] Hooray.
[22:44] I have to say my makeup does sit better when I have a tan on my face.
[22:48] Mate, I would gaffer tape the back of my head if it made my face tighter.
[22:52] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[22:54] I have thought about that.
[22:55] We have done that.
[22:57] And we've done the plots and joined them together to get the full pattern.
[23:00] Does it work?
[23:00] Yeah.
[23:01] Like Anne Hathaway said that's what she did, but come on.
[23:03] Yeah, nah, nah.
[23:04] But you know what, right?
[23:05] So back on Anne Hathaway when everyone went bonkers because –
[23:09] She rocked up at this fashion show and she had the tightest ponytail and everyone's like, oh, my God, look at her eyes.
[23:15] I'm sorry, but if we did that ponytail, our eyes would look like that too.
[23:18] I look amazing when I have my hair tight back.
[23:20] Right?
[23:20] It's full brownie facelift vibes.
[23:23] However, then just recently we saw her with her hair out and her eyes weren't as crazily pulled and it's like maybe it just was her hairstyle.
[23:31] Because you saw the Instagram thing where she's like, here's the thing.
[23:34] She's got the plaits.
[23:35] Yeah, and then all of a sudden, warm.
[23:37] Yeah.
[23:37] Yeah.
[23:38] I've actually done that before.
[23:39] You did that for Fashion Week once.
[23:40] And it was hectic, but I kind of liked it.
[23:42] It's so good.
[23:43] I mean, I can't do that.
[23:44] Yeah, yeah.
[23:45] Well, you could back in the day.
[23:46] I could have.
[23:46] Yeah.
[23:47] I didn't need it then.
[23:48] Didn't need it then.
[23:48] I was fresh.
[23:49] Yeah, I know.
[23:50] Now I'm all dried out.
[23:51] No, you're not.
[23:52] You're looking good.
[23:53] Now, Darren, you are ripped, right?
[23:55] I've seen your six-pack and your husband's eight-pack.
[23:58] Yeah, we've all been perving on your...
[24:00] on your bodies before you walked in.
[24:02] I feel objectified.
[24:03] And you know what?
[24:04] If you've seen any block promos, you know how much I hate having to get my shirt off.
[24:08] I feel like you should just start judging with no shirt on.
[24:12] It's a joke in our house.
[24:14] It doesn't have to be our style.
[24:15] No, right?
[24:16] It's a joke in our house.
[24:17] If you've got it, flaunt it.
[24:18] My husband and my son make fun of me all the time because they're like, oh, stop.
[24:22] I hate being objectified.
[24:24] Stop it.
[24:26] My whole opinion is,
[24:28] Do it until you can't do it anymore.
[24:29] Yeah.
[24:30] Right.
[24:30] I like my legs.
[24:32] Yeah.
[24:32] You've got great legs as well.
[24:33] Yeah.
[24:33] I'll wear a short skirt until I can't anymore.
[24:36] Yeah.
[24:36] Right?
[24:37] So I'm 43 and they're just going to keep being out until they're 75.
[24:43] You're 45.
[24:43] Yeah.
[24:44] Do you know what's interesting?
[24:46] In my 20s, because I had all my babies in my 20s, I covered up like crazy.
[24:50] And then now that I'm in my 30s, I'm like, damn it.
[24:53] I just wish I got naked.
[24:54] I wish I wore a bikini.
[24:55] I wish I did.
[24:56] But you do that now, babe.
[24:57] And you've got great legs.
[24:57] No, I don't wear bikinis.
[24:58] You've got great legs.
[24:59] You don't wear bikinis.
[24:59] Do you watch Schitt's Creek?
[25:01] Yes.
[25:02] Yeah, that scene where she's like, you might think you look a little spooky.
[25:05] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[25:07] Oh, your boobies are too small.
[25:09] Nobody wants to see my little boobies.
[25:11] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[25:11] Oh, my God.
[25:12] I love that show.
[25:13] Oh, my God.
[25:13] Oh, bless her.
[25:15] Rest in peace.
[25:16] What a character.
[25:17] What an actress.
[25:18] I know.
[25:18] I know.
[25:18] That was amazing.
[25:19] I feel like we segwayed again.
[25:21] Yes.
[25:22] We love a side quest.
[25:23] Do you have ADHD?
[25:24] Yes.
[25:24] Yes.
[25:26] That's why I love you.
[25:27] I do.
[25:28] And I'm here to Kate right now.
[25:30] I'm still on side quests.
[25:31] I got diagnosed literally four weeks ago.
[25:33] And I only started the meds a week ago.
[25:36] And they're very slow acting.
[25:37] They're not stimulant meds.
[25:38] But, yes, surprise, surprise.
[25:40] I have a good day.
[25:41] It takes a while.
[25:42] I picked as soon as he walked in, I'm like, oh, he's an ADHD friend.
[25:45] Isn't it easy to see it when you know, right?
[25:47] And you know, you're best.
[25:48] What's that?
[25:49] Birds of a feather flock together.
[25:51] All right.
[25:52] So quick side, another side quest.
[25:53] Yeah, it's like a surprise.
[25:55] Yeah, love it.
[25:55] My husband and I got married after four months, right, of dating.
[25:58] Yeah.
[25:58] Like we literally fell in love.
[26:00] Yeah, got together, got married four months later.
[26:02] And we had never been on a holiday together.
[26:04] And so we flew to South Africa because it was legal there.
[26:07] And...
[26:09] Because I'm very sensitive to smell and touch and noise.
[26:16] And I've never really, I never thought it was.
[26:20] Just thought it was normal.
[26:21] I thought it was normal, but I was odd.
[26:22] Yeah.
[26:23] Right?
[26:23] Yeah.
[26:23] But it's all ADHD stuff.
[26:26] And so he was smoking at the time and I hadn't slept on the plane and I was covered in like
[26:33] Just plain juice.
[26:36] Did you say plain jizz or plain juice?
[26:38] Like your own oils, like in your own filth, right?
[26:41] It's gross.
[26:41] And so, like, we're walking through and he's like, I'm just going to pop out and have a ciggy.
[26:44] And I'm like, okay.
[26:46] And the door's open and it's like 45 degrees and there are other people having cigarettes and there's noise.
[26:51] And I literally just went...
[26:56] like full meltdown yeah overstimulated completely overstimulated and I had no idea why I reacted like that and he was just like
[27:07] Okay.
[27:08] Oh, shit.
[27:08] Are we just about to get married?
[27:10] What am I doing?
[27:11] You've still married me twice.
[27:13] I love it.
[27:14] Did we put those documents into the parliament yet?
[27:16] Yeah.
[27:17] Oh, my God.
[27:18] I know that smells are one that get me bad.
[27:21] And I smell them and other people don't.
[27:23] And I can't deal with this.
[27:24] And I'll go hunting.
[27:26] For this smell on this mission, I've pulled out rugs.
[27:29] I've like dumped in the tip rugs, mattresses.
[27:32] I've got all new pillows, bed heads.
[27:34] There's this room in my house that stinks and it still stinks and I don't know why I've gone into the vents to see if there's dead possum.
[27:40] It doesn't bother anyone else.
[27:41] Every time I walk past my spare room, I get this like this ick.
[27:46] It's a full ick in my own house.
[27:48] I almost want to do an exorcism in my guest room.
[27:50] I hate it.
[27:51] Go get some sage.
[27:51] Olivia, because… I've done that.
[27:53] I've done that.
[27:55] Darren Palmer Candles had it your way.
[27:57] Olivier has this, you know, because it's part of his work, he always, like, if there's a Mecca or Sephora or something, he's like, I'm just going to go pop in and see.
[28:05] Yeah.
[28:06] You know, wrap my head around everything.
[28:08] And I'm like, well, I'll be out there because I can't go where there's perfume.
[28:12] Yes.
[28:13] And like, there's perfume floors.
[28:14] Yeah, there's perfume.
[28:15] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[28:16] Nope.
[28:16] I can't, like the, you know, Lush, the bar bombs.
[28:19] Yes.
[28:19] You can't do it really.
[28:20] And that's like natural stuff.
[28:22] Cannot go there.
[28:23] I'm like that with candles.
[28:24] So you don't wear any fragrance?
[28:25] I wear cologne because that's like a normal layer.
[28:30] Yeah.
[28:30] But all the inputs.
[28:31] All the things, yeah.
[28:32] Just too much.
[28:33] See, I'm more of like I can't stand the smell of hair.
[28:37] What does hair smell like?
[28:39] Hair, air.
[28:40] But also oily hair.
[28:42] Oily hair.
[28:42] And I can't stand the smell of like, my things like laundry detergent.
[28:46] I want my clothes to smell like strong laundry.
[28:49] Like just love it.
[28:50] And I won't put my clothes out on the line because I don't want it to smell like air.
[28:53] I'm so weird.
[28:55] No, no, doll.
[28:56] You're just ADHD.
[28:58] And when you walk into her house, it literally smells like, what is the break cold power?
[29:03] Omo, what is it?
[29:04] Omo.
[29:04] But it's a specific scent.
[29:05] Which one is it?
[29:06] It's the gold and blue one.
[29:08] The gold Omo.
[29:08] It's high fragrance.
[29:10] It smells like.
[29:11] It's high synthetic fragrances that give me a headache.
[29:13] Yeah.
[29:13] But I always know when you've washed my daughter's clothes because it comes back and I'm like, pooh!
[29:17] It's so strong.
[29:19] It's so strong because she likes the air smell.
[29:21] I don't.
[29:21] I like the smell of fresh grass and clothes on a line and also bleach.
[29:27] I love bleach.
[29:28] I love bleach.
[29:29] Bleach is my favorite smell.
[29:31] It's so clean.
[29:32] We need to do like a- Can you do a candle?
[29:34] It's just bleach.
[29:34] And just call it- Oh.
[29:37] Oh, my God.
[29:38] Can't wait.
[29:39] Bleach candle.
[29:42] Dettol.
[29:42] Gwyneth Paltrow did a vagina one.
[29:44] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[29:45] This candle smells like my vagina.
[29:46] Stop.
[29:47] What does it smell like?
[29:48] Her vagina, apparently.
[29:49] Watermelon sugar.
[29:51] Hi.
[29:52] Can we do bleach?
[29:53] Do you know what's close?
[29:54] We walked into our girlfriend's.
[29:55] Byredo Blanche.
[29:57] Oh, Blanche.
[29:58] That's laundry detergent.
[29:59] That's why I like it.
[30:00] Bleach, I would buy it 100%.
[30:01] We walked into our girlfriend's house on Saturday and I was like, smells like bleach.
[30:04] But then I got suspicious because I thought, who's got gastro, who's just bleached the house, don't touch anything.
[30:09] Yeah, yeah.
[30:09] Am I, someone's sick here?
[30:11] No, no, no.
[30:12] No, I just knew you were coming, Beck Jo.
[30:14] Glend 20.
[30:14] Yeah, Glend 20 everywhere.
[30:16] Oh, God.
[30:16] Oh, my God, so bad.
[30:17] Anyway, surely we've got something else to talk about.
[30:19] My apologies.
[30:20] I'm going to say exercise.
[30:21] Because you're ripped and you've got so many muscles.
[30:24] Yeah.
[30:24] How do we get the muscles?
[30:25] All right.
[30:25] So this is legit stuff.
[30:27] This is I've been training for 25 years.
[30:31] So I go to the gym probably four or five days a week.
[30:34] I do it when I know I – like if I can go, I go.
[30:39] And it's a funny little mental trick I played right back then when I started training.
[30:46] That instead of making a decision each day, I've made one decision.
[30:51] I made the decision that I'm going to train on the days that I can.
[30:55] Because with ADHD, it's amazing that you can keep that pattern.
[30:59] It's like it's set in a little set of parameters.
[31:03] Yeah, yeah.
[31:03] And because it's trapped in there, then it's set.
[31:07] Now you're Medicaid, you'll be going seven days a week.
[31:09] Wow.
[31:10] But like…
[31:11] But realistically, logistically, there are days where I'm flying.
[31:15] There are days where I'm away or whatever.
[31:18] And you just got to go, okay, well, I can't train.
[31:21] Yeah.
[31:21] But on the days that I can and it makes sense to you and you're not like too fatigued or you need a day of rest or whatever –
[31:28] I go to the gym, but I go for half an hour.
[31:31] And I literally, I walk in there and I put on headphones, look, just like this.
[31:35] Yeah.
[31:36] And I train.
[31:37] Yeah.
[31:38] And don't talk to me.
[31:39] Yeah.
[31:39] And I listen to my music and I'm in my body and not in my mind.
[31:44] And I'm sure you realize.
[31:45] Yeah, yeah.
[31:46] Did you say you have ADHD as well?
[31:47] Yeah.
[31:48] She's undiagnosed.
[31:49] She's 100% hazard.
[31:50] The really high-functioning type.
[31:52] She's got good patterns.
[31:53] I have bad patterns.
[31:54] Hey, you joke.
[31:55] You joke.
[31:56] But this is literally like that exists.
[31:59] I was hard to diagnose.
[32:00] I have a million windows open at once and I'm achieving in every single window.
[32:04] Yeah.
[32:05] So I have them all open.
[32:05] But I burn myself out.
[32:06] I don't achieve any of it.
[32:08] I was hard to diagnose for that reason.
[32:09] One of the questions is like, do you lose your phone?
[32:11] Do you lose your keys?
[32:12] No, do you lose your keys?
[32:13] Do you lose your wallet?
[32:14] And I'm like, well, I don't have keys or a wallet because I would lose them.
[32:17] So I've built a system around that.
[32:19] So I've built systems around all of this behavior.
[32:22] So I don't have to deal with the behavior because the system takes care of it.
[32:26] It's just the same with the gym.
[32:27] So I've got this system where I'm like, I train on the days that I can train.
[32:31] I go in there.
[32:32] I have my headphones on.
[32:33] I'm in my body, not in my mind.
[32:35] I've got...
[32:35] I've got a nice, quiet brain.
[32:37] I do the thing that I can do repetitively.
[32:41] I don't have to speak to anybody and then I leave.
[32:43] And it takes half an hour.
[32:45] So you do half an hour.
[32:47] Is it weights?
[32:48] Yeah.
[32:48] Or do any cardio?
[32:49] I don't do cardio.
[32:50] I don't like it.
[32:50] It's boring.
[32:51] Cardio is hardio, man.
[32:52] I like it.
[32:53] It's boring.
[32:53] I feel great afterwards, but like, ugh.
[32:55] Do you know what?
[32:56] For men or women, having good muscle density is more important at this age, just in your 40s.
[33:02] You burn fat.
[33:04] Yeah.
[33:04] You burn fat while you sleep with more muscle density.
[33:06] You do.
[33:06] And also doing weights under load, it's better for your bone density.
[33:11] Yeah.
[33:12] So, I mean, if you're jogging, running, those micro breaks are really good for your bones as well.
[33:16] But weight training is really good if you want to lose fat.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:21] Yeah.
[33:22] Yeah.
[33:22] The funny thing I think is I've seen so many women say this, that, you know, you think you look at a dumbbell and you're going to get like, oh.
[33:28] It takes so much work to look like Arnold.
[33:31] It's not going to happen.
[33:32] And so much protein intake.
[33:33] You've got to be doing all the things.
[33:35] Sorry, I disagree with that.
[33:36] You put me on weights and I look like Madonna in a week.
[33:39] I just...
[33:41] I used to be a surfer.
[33:42] We're talking about like Confessions on a Dance Floor Madonna, right?
[33:46] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[33:46] Or like Ray of Light Madonna.
[33:47] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[33:47] Literally.
[33:48] Oh, Ray of Light Madonna.
[33:49] Great.
[33:50] I'm literally like I used to surf and when I used to surf I just looked so – I was so muscly.
[33:56] It was – the boys would not even look at me because they thought I was one of the dudes.
[34:00] Because my mum used to say, she's like, That's hot.
[34:01] I love muscles on chicks.
[34:03] No, mum's like, you're bigger than the boys.
[34:04] Because I've got broad shoulders.
[34:06] I just beef up.
[34:07] So I cannot do weights on my arms.
[34:09] But you've also got a bit of like, a bit of trauma about that, about your shoulders.
[34:14] Because did some guy say you had big shoulders?
[34:16] Girl.
[34:17] Girl.
[34:17] Said you had big shoulders.
[34:18] She said, you can never wear a halter neck because you're so broad.
[34:20] And I was like, so I won't wear halter neck bathers.
[34:23] And now you're so much older and you still won't.
[34:25] We're still won't.
[34:25] Because of one comment that some shitty teenage girl said to you.
[34:28] Yeah, yeah.
[34:30] Being a teen is hard.
[34:32] It is.
[34:32] You hold on to those comments.
[34:34] Trauma dumping.
[34:35] God.
[34:43] Do you like meditate or anything like that?
[34:45] Like how do you – you've probably got a bit of a high-stress life maybe.
[34:48] Like I always found when I was on TV, like they were my most stressful days were shooting days, no auto cue, trying to remember, you know, all your pieces to camera.
[34:57] You'd be shooting for 10 hours nonstop.
[34:59] The whole crew is waiting on you to get your lines correct.
[35:03] Yeah.
[35:04] So I would always feel a lot of pressure to nail it.
[35:07] Does that stress you out or do you have coping mechanisms?
[35:09] Look, for me, thankfully, I get to speak from my knowledge.
[35:12] I don't have to deal with being produced or scripts, which is great.
[35:17] So much easy talking about something that you know about.
[35:19] Yeah, bingo, right?
[35:20] Like, say these lines.
[35:21] Yeah.
[35:22] I find scripts really, really hard, but I've also learned a system around that.
[35:25] I'm an auditory learner.
[35:27] So I have just discovered that I can get Claude to run me through the scripts.
[35:33] I love Claude.
[35:34] No kidding.
[35:35] Oh, oh.
[35:36] Side quest.
[35:37] We need to come back to Claude.
[35:40] Are we sure we're not calling this ADHD-ish?
[35:43] Oh, I told you I'm not functioning undiagnosed.
[35:45] Because that's just another thing I don't want to deal with in doctor's appointments, so I just raw dog at life.
[35:50] Do not.
[35:51] Do it on telehealth like I did.
[35:53] It's literally the easiest way to go about it.
[35:55] Yeah, because all GPs can do it now.
[35:56] They can prescribe it and not psych.
[35:58] I'll send you the link.
[35:59] Yeah, yeah.
[35:59] I've written it down.
[36:00] Okay.
[36:01] So where were we?
[36:02] Coping, stress, filming.
[36:04] Yeah.
[36:04] So look, filming's actually really not stressful.
[36:06] It's actually one of the least stressful things I've got to do in my life because everything's organized for me and I get to turn up and do the thing and leave.
[36:12] It's awesome.
[36:13] And also you've got so much experience now, right?
[36:15] Yeah.
[36:16] You do it with your eyes closed.
[36:17] Since 2009 I've been on the tele.
[36:18] Yes.
[36:19] This is, yeah, you can do this with your eyes closed.
[36:21] You can see it.
[36:21] By the way, you can see all of the good and bad results over the years.
[36:27] The time lapse.
[36:28] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[36:29] Yeah, something changed for the better in around 2019.
[36:32] Yeah, I love that.
[36:33] I love it.
[36:34] Now, is there a product or treatment that you swear by?
[36:38] I think you've already given us the beard dye and the spray tan.
[36:42] Is there anything else you do that you can't live without?
[36:46] I floss.
[36:46] I floss.
[36:49] Actually, I use the little things.
[36:51] The two big ones?
[36:52] Yeah.
[36:53] What color?
[36:54] The pink.
[36:56] Did we just become PFS?
[36:57] Well, she's in the car flossing her teeth with her own hair.
[37:01] They're really tight.
[37:02] I love the pink Pixters.
[37:04] I don't know the pink ones.
[37:05] Oh, I don't have those.
[37:06] Yeah, your husband gave them to me.
[37:08] Oh, he didn't.
[37:09] Did he give me any?
[37:10] Because you don't use them.
[37:12] Because you expect him to do it for you.
[37:13] Yeah, that's true.
[37:14] Because you outsourced your teeth to him.
[37:16] The pink picks, I love it when you get a chia seed or something and it comes out or a piece of lamb.
[37:21] It is so satisfying.
[37:23] Except for the smell.
[37:25] I don't smell it.
[37:26] Yeah, the smell is disgusting.
[37:29] Oh, yeah, if it's been sitting there for a while.
[37:31] Your poor husband.
[37:31] I know.
[37:32] No wonder I have to wear those masks.
[37:33] But you know what?
[37:34] He's got no sense of smell.
[37:35] That is so good for him.
[37:36] My husband's the same.
[37:37] Yeah, he doesn't have ADHD, clearly.
[37:39] He's got no sense of smell.
[37:40] I could not.
[37:41] Like I can smell vomit, I can smell poop, but bad breath smell gives me the gags.
[37:47] Gags, yeah.
[37:48] That smell is a Tardis smell and it smells like rotten flesh.
[37:52] Yeah, it's disgusting.
[37:54] And so when you get it out and you're like, oh, I know, we want to vomit.
[37:57] It's the worst smell.
[37:58] It's the worst.
[37:59] I take care of my teeth.
[38:00] You too?
[38:00] Yeah.
[38:01] You don't want to be that person talking to someone that everyone can smell the tart on.
[38:05] I know.
[38:05] Do you know what?
[38:06] I have this saying, take the hint, take the mint.
[38:09] Yeah, that's so true.
[38:10] Someone gives you a mint.
[38:11] Yeah.
[38:11] Take it.
[38:11] Take it.
[38:12] Bec and I are always asking for mints.
[38:14] But I would tell you if you needed a mint.
[38:15] I know, and I'm the same.
[38:16] But we've got good breath.
[38:17] I floss.
[38:17] Would you like a mint?
[38:18] Yeah.
[38:20] Headspace.
[38:21] Headspace.
[38:24] Is there anything you've been curious to try but you haven't got around to it yet?
[38:28] What's on your wish list for the future?
[38:30] Literally nothing.
[38:31] Nothing.
[38:32] Everything I want to do, I do.
[38:34] Yeah, look, I'm very, very, look, okay.
[38:37] So Olivier and Bahar, one of our besties, we, the three of us send each other facelifts.
[38:43] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[38:43] For fun.
[38:45] Who are the doctors on your thread who's working?
[38:48] Dr. Nayak in America.
[38:50] N-A-Y-A-K?
[38:51] N-A-Y-A-K. Yeah, I know him.
[38:53] I think we've sent his photos before.
[38:55] Yeah, the guy who did Denise Richards.
[38:58] Also amazing.
[38:59] Ben Tarley.
[39:00] Amazing face.
[39:01] And you know what he does?
[39:02] He doesn't do any filters or AI to his afters.
[39:05] So you get the really raw, natural results.
[39:08] A lot of them like kind of tweak.
[39:09] them.
[39:09] Yeah.
[39:09] That's why I like Nayak as well.
[39:11] Yeah.
[39:12] And he goes through the process.
[39:13] You're like, whoa.
[39:14] Yeah.
[39:15] So I look for fun, but it's very hard to find a, in Australia, male-centric plastic surgeon that would be able to do a lower face and neck.
[39:26] Yeah.
[39:27] If you're out there listening.
[39:28] Yeah, yeah.
[39:28] And you're the guy.
[39:29] Slide into your DM.
[39:30] Slide into my DM.
[39:31] You know what?
[39:32] Yeah.
[39:32] I feel like there's so many in the States, and I've had friends who have gone over there and had consults.
[39:38] They are so expensive.
[39:40] They are like hundreds.
[39:41] $250.
[39:42] Yeah.
[39:42] US.
[39:43] Yeah.
[39:43] And then you've got insurance and flights and you've got to stay there like, whoa.
[39:46] There's one that was $250 a couple of years back.
[39:50] Now it's $500.
[39:52] Wow.
[39:52] US.
[39:53] Like he's one of the guys that does all the guys.
[39:55] He's very famous.
[39:56] I can't remember his name.
[39:57] Anyway, so look, I'm very interested in that.
[39:59] Yeah.
[39:59] And I've got to moderate…
[40:02] like when is an appropriate time because this is all pretty good, right?
[40:06] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[40:07] Right.
[40:08] But at some point, like I do sort of sit in the mirror and just sort of.
[40:12] Yeah.
[40:12] We all do.
[40:13] I do that.
[40:13] We all do.
[40:14] I always pull my hair back.
[40:15] Pull the hair, the brows, the neck.
[40:18] Yeah, you're sort of.
[40:19] I feel like for guys, there's like two types of facelifts.
[40:22] You've got like a ponytail facelift and then you've got like a deep plane.
[40:26] Endoscopic deep plane for me.
[40:28] Right from back here.
[40:29] Oh, don't worry.
[40:29] I've done the research.
[40:31] Yeah, yeah.
[40:31] You've done the research.
[40:33] Yeah.
[40:33] Do you know what?
[40:34] We should get on a male facelift.
[40:36] If you're a surgeon listening or if you're in the industry, please send this on to people who you think would be really good for this.
[40:44] And that's the thing as well.
[40:45] We only get the best on.
[40:46] We had Mark Ashton, like the tummy tuck guy.
[40:48] Yeah.
[40:48] He was amazing.
[40:49] Can't wait for him to do my tummy.
[40:50] What am I the best at?
[40:51] Everything.
[40:52] Interiors.
[40:52] Interiors.
[40:53] Looking great.
[40:54] Being our first male towel and like.
[40:56] Really?
[40:57] Yeah.
[40:57] Dominating.
[40:58] Really?
[40:58] You've dominated.
[40:59] Yeah.
[40:59] You're our first.
[41:00] You're our first.
[41:01] Whoa.
[41:01] Yeah.
[41:01] Yeah.
[41:03] And being 48 but looking 32.
[41:04] Yeah.
[41:04] This is a very high bar then because I've gone like – And you've set the tone.
[41:08] I'm like – You've set the tone.
[41:10] I don't hide.
[41:11] No, nothing.
[41:11] Yeah, we're the same.
[41:12] We're the same.
[41:12] So every guy that comes on here, you have Chelsea everything.
[41:15] Yeah.
[41:15] What's the point?
[41:16] Listen, I went to the Dolly Parton school of like doing whatever you want, right?
[41:21] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[41:21] Like she's like, I –
[41:25] do it for myself because that's how I want to look and hooray.
[41:28] Yeah.
[41:29] I like, sure.
[41:29] Yeah, she's the best.
[41:31] Oh, I love her.
[41:32] She said, please excuse what, this is her words, not mine.
[41:35] I'm paraphrasing.
[41:36] She said, I should be able to put my tits on my back without anybody having an opinion on it.
[41:40] Yeah.
[41:40] I love that.
[41:41] I love that too.
[41:42] Yeah, sure.
[41:43] For many years, and I've spoken about this a lot on this podcast, for many years I hit it.
[41:48] If I had a Pat following me to an injectables appointment, I wouldn't walk in the door.
[41:52] I'd go home.
[41:53] I'd call my girl Claire.
[41:54] I'm like, Pat followed me.
[41:55] I can't come in because you'll get me coming out and I'll have marks on my face.
[41:59] And then I just got to a point where I was like, I actually –
[42:01] Don't give a fuck.
[42:03] I just don't care.
[42:04] Yeah.
[42:04] And since then, it's been so liberating.
[42:08] It's actually changed my life because I'm not waiting for a gotcha moment of being papped or having some crazy headline like, Bec Judd's spotter doing this.
[42:15] It's like, if I just fess up to everything, you can't get me.
[42:18] And it's actually like, who gives a shit anyway?
[42:20] It took me a while to get there, but I'm there now.
[42:23] I got outed by a pat.
[42:25] So in 2014, I was working in the media, but I was still straight.
[42:30] Yeah.
[42:30] Oh, okay.
[42:31] Publicly, right?
[42:32] Straight publicly.
[42:33] Okay, yeah.
[42:33] So gay, obviously, married, had a kid, all the whole thing.
[42:36] So 2014, I got – actually, my manager got sent some photographs from an online –
[42:44] you know, one of those websites, the fun one.
[42:46] Yeah, love that one.
[42:48] Not.
[42:49] Thanks for the ratings though.
[42:50] Love it.
[42:54] They sent photos of Olivia and I in surf and we're like far apart.
[42:59] They're asking who this person is, would you like to comment?
[43:01] And I'm like, oh, my God, commercially, like I work in the building industry.
[43:07] I mean, surprise, interior design is gay.
[43:10] But also I had contracts and commercial stuff and I was like, oh, my God,
[43:13] am I going to put all that at risk?
[43:15] Because like maybe I'm not what people think I am.
[43:18] Yeah.
[43:19] And then I was like, my manager said, just tell the truth.
[43:24] Yeah.
[43:24] So I was like, yeah, that's my husband, da-da-da-da-da.
[43:27] Which is great because if they –
[43:29] used the photos they showed me, it was benign.
[43:32] We could remake.
[43:33] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[43:33] But what they printed clearly was we're a couple.
[43:35] We're sitting next to each other and looking very lovingly and touching each other and we're a married couple.
[43:40] Yeah.
[43:40] So instead of the gotcha moment, they got a story about my tattoo.
[43:44] Yeah.
[43:44] And like from then, I kind of started just going, you know what,
[43:50] I'm just going to try and try and care less.
[43:54] It's not authentic yet.
[43:56] Like I still have to really force myself to be open.
[44:00] But the more open I get with people, the more people see me like this because I actually have a sense of humor.
[44:08] Yeah, yeah.
[44:09] Because on the telly I'm so pragmatic because I'm doing a job.
[44:12] Yeah, yeah.
[44:13] But I have a horrible sense of humor.
[44:16] It is very, very messy.
[44:18] I have a dark sense of humor.
[44:20] Not necessarily for public consumption.
[44:22] But the more I share of it, the more I like it.
[44:24] Yeah.
[44:25] But it's, yeah.
[44:26] And how was the reaction back then to the story?
[44:30] Crickets.
[44:31] Yeah.
[44:31] Ah, see?
[44:32] Yeah.
[44:33] No one gave a shit.
[44:34] At the end of the day...
[44:35] especially your clients and your fans and everyone, they just want you to be your genuine, authentic self.
[44:42] Like if it's that or if it's us.
[44:44] Careful what you wish for, you know.
[44:46] Doing this podcast and being honest, people are like, oh, it's so great.
[44:49] It's so good.
[44:50] Just like we feel like we know the real you.
[44:54] Honesty is the best policy.
[44:55] It is.
[44:56] Or your dad would always say.
[44:57] Not always.
[44:58] No, no, no.
[45:00] I just feel I just have less, personally, I have less anxiety when I'm just honest.
[45:07] And even, like, with my kids, like, just say they can't do a sport training or something or we've double booked and they're like, what should I say?
[45:14] It's like, just say the truth.
[45:16] Just say the truth.
[45:17] I'll say, sorry, I'm an idiot.
[45:19] I've double booked and they can't come.
[45:21] Instead of like, oh, they're sick or whatever.
[45:22] You always get found out when you do it live.
[45:24] Yeah, I'm calling up.
[45:24] Just be honest.
[45:25] My kid just doesn't want to do it today.
[45:27] She's having a bad day.
[45:28] She's not coming.
[45:30] And I'm hungover and I don't want to get her out to freaking Jell's Park on a Thursday night.
[45:35] Thank you.
[45:35] But also it does people a disservice that don't have the ability or the capacity to be able to do the things that it takes to look at 48
[45:46] like it's just it's not fair it's not fair 100% gaslighting yeah absolutely and it also makes people that aren't doing it then compare themselves to something that isn't a fair comparison and it just it's not nice like I'd rather just tell the truth so true I have to say like before doing Vanish I'd look at everything on Instagram and go why don't I look like that why does my body not look like that after having kids like you do compete because you don't have a million dollars to spend yes exactly exactly and that was the whole thing and then it was like after I found it
[46:16] everyone's had surgery or everyone, you know, exercises.
[46:19] Or filtering their photos.
[46:21] Filtering their photos with AI or a personal trainer.
[46:23] Their video can be filtered.
[46:24] Yes.
[46:24] Yeah.
[46:25] What app does that?
[46:26] I like.
[46:27] Yeah.
[46:28] I do Paris filter.
[46:29] Paris filter, yeah.
[46:30] Which is like that one that goes across and kind of just makes it.
[46:32] Slightly blurry.
[46:32] Yeah, yeah.
[46:33] Slightly.
[46:33] It's like a bold and the beautiful kind of.
[46:35] Yeah.
[46:36] But I think once you know that and then, and just fess up, like, you know when a celeb goes, oh, I've never had any work done.
[46:42] I just get 10 hours sleep and I drink lots of water and I wear SPS.
[46:45] Just a touch of tinted moisturizer.
[46:48] Babe, you're 45 and you don't have a wrinkle and your face has changed and your lips are bigger.
[46:52] Like, you look insane, babe.
[46:53] Like, girl, you are fire.
[46:55] Yeah, yeah.
[46:56] But don't gaslight everyone saying that you just naturally woke up.
[46:59] And that people can achieve that just by sleeping and drinking more water.
[47:03] Like, come on.
[47:05] Yeah.
[47:05] I started jogging.
[47:06] Yeah.
[47:08] I started sleeping six hours.
[47:10] So what lasers, what lasers have you had?
[47:11] Is there one particular laser you love?
[47:13] Yeah, just actually a couple weeks ago I had CO2 laser.
[47:17] Yes.
[47:17] But it's cold.
[47:18] Yep.
[47:19] So, you know, like a CO2 is fully ablative and really messes you up.
[47:23] It's the same.
[47:25] It's a CO2, but it doesn't heat up as it goes.
[47:29] It's really not very painful.
[47:31] What was your downtime?
[47:32] One day.
[47:33] Yeah.
[47:33] And what did it look like?
[47:34] Sunburn.
[47:35] Wow.
[47:35] And then it just resolved?
[47:36] Like rough touch and then glass.
[47:40] Wow.
[47:41] Did it flake off?
[47:42] No, no.
[47:42] It's not like a peel, like a chemical peel.
[47:45] Back on looks and you being on TV, how does it feel if you ever get trolled about your appearance?
[47:52] Like are you pretty good at brushing it off or does it affect you and make you go, oh shit, maybe I do have to look at that, whatever it is they're attacking you about?
[47:59] Or do you not get trolled?
[48:00] I don't get trolled, to be honest.
[48:02] Also, I don't read the comments.
[48:04] That is just a recipe for disaster.
[48:05] Yeah.
[48:05] Yeah.
[48:06] And if anybody sends anything abusive or derogatory to me about anything, especially to do with my sexuality, they're blocked.
[48:14] They don't get another chance to interact with me whatsoever.
[48:17] I am not indestructible by any means, but I try not to look.
[48:23] And generally, people say nice things.
[48:27] They're like, oh, wow, I saw you on the horse in the promo.
[48:30] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[48:31] I remember that shot.
[48:36] But saying that, I do get people send me, you know, dudes too.
[48:41] Oh, wanker.
[48:42] They're just jealous.
[48:43] They're just jealous.
[48:44] They're just jealous.
[48:45] After this, I will guarantee you that there'll be some people that'll be like, oh, you shouldn't.
[48:50] but like yeah you know what we've been pretty good like we've like a lot of people have done tell-alls and stuff and there's not been a lot of trolls I think it's more like thank you for being so honest you're awesome I know so much more about you now you're a ripper that's usually and it's funny because a lot of guys are getting treatments done you know gay or straight they are doing it so I think it's definitely you coming on here and telling what you've you know you get done
[49:14] a lot of guys are naturally doing it anyway.
[49:15] They just don't have, obviously, a space to talk about it.
[49:18] Yeah.
[49:19] So, yeah.
[49:21] What are you seeing men doing?
[49:23] Oh, gosh.
[49:25] I'm in the wrong sphere though, right?
[49:27] Yeah.
[49:27] Because my sphere influences.
[49:29] TV, interior design.
[49:30] Yeah.
[49:30] And also my husband's work.
[49:32] Yeah.
[49:32] What does he see?
[49:34] Well, so he's seen that the shift away from dermal fillers is real and good.
[49:43] It's all about biostimulators.
[49:44] It's all about the devices and things that you can sort of support with.
[49:49] There's still a place for dermal fillers.
[49:51] Yeah.
[49:51] Like I've.
[49:51] I had some tear trough recently.
[49:53] Yeah.
[49:54] I have a little bit on the outside of my chin because a really pointy chin.
[49:57] Yeah.
[49:58] I have a little bit in here too because I've got a really strong.
[50:01] Oh, nasolabial.
[50:03] Yes.
[50:03] Yeah.
[50:03] Like one side's really strong.
[50:05] Yeah.
[50:06] I've had it in there before.
[50:07] You've had it in there before.
[50:08] I have it on one side of my face.
[50:10] Yeah.
[50:11] Apparently, I talk outside my mouth like this.
[50:13] Because I grew up in the country.
[50:15] The country.
[50:16] Just seeing one of those, what's it called?
[50:18] Corn?
[50:19] Yeah.
[50:20] The grass?
[50:21] Whatever.
[50:21] Whatever it is.
[50:22] That one, yeah.
[50:22] Yep.
[50:23] Yep.
[50:24] I love it.
[50:25] I love it.
[50:26] What about anti-wrinkling men?
[50:28] Look, anti-wrinkle I think with men is a really interesting thing because if you look at some of the celebrity references, what they're doing is still anti-wrinkle but less.
[50:39] So you like – Still move, expression.
[50:41] You've still got movement.
[50:41] Yeah.
[50:42] But like I've got a packet of hot dogs on my forehead if I leave it alone.
[50:45] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[50:46] Like big full-on lines.
[50:48] So like I said, you still want to be able to emote and move.
[50:50] Yeah.
[50:51] But just sort of soften it back a bit.
[50:54] That's the thing.
[50:55] I know a lot of guys that do get anti-wrinkle injections.
[50:57] I know your husband is allowed to inject.
[51:00] He's a dentist and dentists can do this.
[51:03] Yeah.
[51:03] Does he have any male clients for anti-wrinkle?
[51:08] Yeah, he does.
[51:08] Yeah, right.
[51:08] Yeah, and it's usually like just above the eyebrows and then just around the crow's feet.
[51:13] The frown.
[51:14] The frown.
[51:15] The deep frown.
[51:17] If I can't frown physically, I feel less cranky.
[51:20] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[51:22] It's almost like it sends a message to your brain.
[51:24] It's like forcing yourself to smile.
[51:26] You feel happier, right?
[51:28] Also, it's a French thing.
[51:31] I've got it here so I can't turn my mouth down.
[51:33] Yes.
[51:35] Because.
[51:35] Okay.
[51:35] I've had done that.
[51:36] Just because we're not video, you are pointing to your, what are these, gels?
[51:40] No, no.
[51:41] Just below the.
[51:42] Below the outer corners of the lip.
[51:44] Yeah, between sort of the chin and the lip on the outer side of where the lip is.
[51:47] What is that area called?
[51:48] I'm not sure.
[51:49] It's like your nasal labia that goes all the way down.
[51:52] If you follow that line.
[51:53] If you follow that line.
[51:53] Keep going.
[51:54] Keep going.
[51:54] So halfway between your mouth and your arm.
[51:56] Yeah, right.
[51:57] But I'm not an injector.
[51:59] All right.
[52:00] Last question.
[52:00] This has been the best chat ever.
[52:02] I love this chat.
[52:03] I feel like we're running way out of it.
[52:05] We've been on so many journeys and we didn't even get back to Claude.
[52:08] What's been your most vain moment in your life?
[52:16] I mean, I started with that story.
[52:18] I think we're there already, aren't we?
[52:20] Yeah, I think we went straight.
[52:21] We're like, in November, I had 20 veneers put in and a hair transplant in the same month.
[52:27] I love it.
[52:28] Oh, my God.
[52:30] You came back a new man.
[52:32] Oh, that's okay.
[52:33] There's my joke.
[52:34] Yeah.
[52:34] Right.
[52:35] So every season...
[52:37] the comments are like, we need new judges.
[52:40] And I'm like, you're getting one, just piece by piece.
[52:42] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[52:44] Veneer by veneer.
[52:45] Yeah, yeah.
[52:46] Body part by body part.
[52:47] I'm just standing back to the factory, get some new bits put on, a new judge eventually.
[52:52] Yeah, yeah.
[52:52] Good.
[52:53] Next season you'll come home with blonde hair.
[52:56] On my top lip.
[52:57] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[52:58] That'd be good.
[52:58] That'd be good.
[52:59] A departing thought in a nutshell because I know Jess is like,
[53:04] Who the fuck is Claude?
[53:05] Yeah, who's Claude?
[53:07] Explain what Claude is and how it helps because I'm finding Claude a game changer.
[53:11] My husband's been using Claude for months now and I've just downloaded and OMG, it's insane.
[53:18] Is it Chachabu Tea?
[53:19] No, it's better.
[53:20] No, it's better.
[53:21] Well, different.
[53:22] I find it a super useful tool for… It's AI.
[53:26] You probably don't…
[53:27] Wouldn't guess this about me from the outside, but I'm a giant nerd for data.
[53:34] I love understanding things and the psychology of why things.
[53:38] I don't – I'm not like – you know when people are like, what's the best white paint?
[53:43] Yeah, yeah.
[53:44] Or like –
[53:45] Lexican quarter.
[53:46] What's the new trend?
[53:48] I'm like, okay, that's all good.
[53:50] But understanding what sits underneath why those are really complex questions is way more interesting to me.
[53:57] So I use it to deep dive and nerd like rabbit hole into these things.
[54:03] Wow, okay.
[54:04] And I just love it for research.
[54:06] Yeah, yeah.
[54:06] It's really good for research and it's a really good assistant.
[54:09] Okay.
[54:10] So it can, this is what I've been using it for,
[54:15] For this brand, I'm going to upload all of this video.
[54:18] I need you to cut one into 60 seconds, one into 30, one into 15.
[54:21] I'll upload the brief.
[54:23] Make sure you meet all the clients.
[54:25] Our demand's in the brief.
[54:27] And we tick all the boxes.
[54:28] Give it in Bekjad's tone.
[54:31] And write me a script to voice over it.
[54:33] Suggest royalty-free music.
[54:34] It does it all.
[54:35] Oh, my God.
[54:35] And it cuts it all for you.
[54:37] The only thing it doesn't do is add, like, graphics and, like, really creative layers over the top.
[54:41] But it does the base work for you.
[54:43] Stop it.
[54:44] It takes me forever.
[54:45] insane.
[54:45] Five weeks to do one reel because I'm like, I don't know what I'm doing.
[54:48] Just get clawed back.
[54:49] I'm like, yeah, I'm going to get clawed.
[54:51] What level of permissions did you give it?
[54:53] Yeah, I'm still a bit like… I'm concerned, right?
[54:56] Yeah, because it wants everything.
[54:58] So, can we access your calendars and everything, your emails?
[55:02] And then I'm like, oh, do I want an AI bot to… No, I'm not there yet.
[55:06] Yeah, me either.
[55:06] Okay, so you can still do all that without like doing the co-working thing.
[55:10] Yes, yes, yes, yes.
[55:11] But I don't know if I'm ready yet to give over my passwords.
[55:14] So, I've done ChatGPT and I've given it access to everything.
[55:17] Yay!
[55:18] Everything.
[55:19] And it was so funny.
[55:19] Does that mean because I'm always in your message?
[55:21] It's got access to me?
[55:23] Everything.
[55:23] No, but it gets so funny.
[55:24] I'm going to get fired.
[55:25] No, no.
[55:26] I was sitting there with...
[55:27] I'd get cancelled.
[55:27] I was sitting there with Juddy down at the peninsula.
[55:31] And we were sitting in the kitchen.
[55:33] You and Val were playing tennis because they're just tennis nerds.
[55:36] And we're sitting in the kitchen and we're talking about ChatGPT.
[55:39] And he's like, oh, what's your access?
[55:41] It's like, I've got a lot of access.
[55:42] Everything.
[55:43] Everything.
[55:44] And he's like, oh, okay.
[55:45] And I said, what do I think about my husband, Val Roberts?
[55:48] And it came up with literally everything.
[55:52] And I was like, it was correct.
[55:53] It was correct.
[55:54] And then it's like, what do I think about myself?
[55:56] And it said everything about myself, my traumas, everything.
[56:00] What I think about everything about my daughters, my child.
[56:05] And we're sitting there.
[56:05] It's scary.
[56:06] I remember you walked in.
[56:07] I remember.
[56:07] I came in and you read it out.
[56:08] I read it out.
[56:08] I was like, oh, that's freaky.
[56:09] Yeah.
[56:10] And then I said, like, for Bec's birthday, I said, give me what I think about Bec Judd for her birthday.
[56:16] And then it gave me my thing and I screenshot it and sent it to you.
[56:19] Any editing?
[56:20] No?
[56:21] No editing.
[56:21] Not editing.
[56:22] It's always positive.
[56:23] Family-wise, a bit different.
[56:26] And I did my mum, my dad.
[56:27] Anyway, yeah, that's what happens.
[56:28] Side quest.
[56:29] Side quest.
[56:31] This has been an episode of Vanish with the ADHD mob, and we hope you've enjoyed it.
[56:37] And if you've stuck with us all this way, gold star for you.
[56:43] Come to part two.
[56:44] I really hope you got some knowledge out of it because there is a lot of side quests in there.
[56:48] I think it's now just like the three hosts.
[56:51] Count me in.
[56:52] Count me in.
[56:53] I am like totes up for it.
[56:54] I mean, you're here all the time.
[56:56] Yeah.
[56:56] So why not?
[56:58] I'm here every Sunday.
[56:59] I can pop in every Monday.
[57:00] Every Monday.
[57:01] I love that.
[57:01] I love that.
[57:02] So good.
[57:03] Well, thanks for joining us.
[57:04] Oh, Bec, Jess is awesome.
[57:06] That was amazing.
[57:07] We can't wait for next year and what type of host are you going to be then?
[57:10] Blonde, pink.
[57:11] Oh, some big ones.
[57:13] You're a six pack now.
[57:15] You'll be an eight pack.
[57:16] Eight pack.
[57:17] Yeah.
[57:17] We'll see.
[57:18] I've got a two pack.
[57:18] Stay tuned.
[57:19] I've got a two pack.
[57:19] I've got
[57:22] Good luck.
[57:22] I know.
[57:25] If you loved our chat with Darren Palmer, make sure you tune in tomorrow for our follow-up episode where Darren opens up about his hair transplant.
[57:33] You can also catch him on The Block now and One Euro House later this year on Channel 9.
[57:39] Bye for now.
[57:40] Bye for now.
[57:43] Bye for now.
