[0:00] In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
[0:03] Spirit, Amen. My God, Ioffer you this Rosary
[0:07] for your glory, so that I can honor your Holy Mother, the
[0:10] Blessed Virgin, so I can share and meditate upon her suffering.
[0:14] I humbly beg you to give me true repentance for all my sins.
[0:18] Give me wisdom and humility so that I may receive all the
[0:21] indulgences contained in this prayer.
[0:23] Oh my God, I'm heartily sorry for having offended you, and I
[0:27] detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the
[0:30] pains of hell, but most of all because they offend you, my God,
[0:35] who are all good and deserving of all my love.
[0:38] I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to confess my
[0:41] sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.
[0:44] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[0:47] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[0:50] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[0:53] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[0:57] hour of our death. Amen.
[1:00] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
[1:03] Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
[1:06] womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[1:10] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
[1:13] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[1:16] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[1:19] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[1:22] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[1:25] hour of our death. Amen.
[1:28] Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[1:31] Son, Jesus. Most Merciful Mother, remind us
[1:36] always about the sorrows of your Son Jesus.
[1:39] Most Merciful Mother, Mother, remind us always about the
[1:42] sorrows of your Son Jesus, the first sword of Sorrow, The
[1:47] prophecy of Simeon. When Mary and Joseph brought the
[1:50] infant Jesus to the temple, they were filled with joy, but
[1:54] Simeon's words Pierce that joy with sorrow.
[1:56] This child is destined for the fallen rise of many, and a sword
[2:00] will Pierce your soul too. In that moment, Mary's heart was
[2:04] marked with the knowledge that her son's life would be 1 of
[2:07] suffering. Imagine the weight of those
[2:09] words for a young mother. The sword of sorrow began that
[2:12] day, and it would never leave her until she stood beneath the
[2:15] cross. Beloved Mother Mary, whose heart
[2:19] suffered beyond bearing because of us, teach us to suffer with
[2:22] you and with love and to accept all the suffering God deems it
[2:26] necessary to send our way. Let us suffer and may our
[2:29] suffering be known to God only like yours and that of Jesus.
[2:33] Do not let us show our suffering to the world so it will matter
[2:36] more and be used to atone for the sins of the world.
[2:40] You, Mother, who suffered with the Savior of the world, we
[2:43] offer you our suffering and the suffering of the world because
[2:46] we are your children. Join those sorrows to your own
[2:50] and to those of the Lord Jesus Christ, then offer them to God
[2:53] the Father. You are a mother greater than
[2:56] all, our Father, who art in heaven.
[2:59] Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
[3:03] on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day Our Daily
[3:06] Bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
[3:10] who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but
[3:15] deliver us from evil. Amen.
[3:17] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[3:21] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[3:25] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[3:29] hour of our death. Amen.
[3:31] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art
[3:35] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[3:39] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[3:43] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[3:47] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[3:50] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[3:53] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[3:57] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[4:02] Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[4:05] is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[4:10] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[4:14] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
[4:17] Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
[4:20] womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[4:24] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[4:28] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[4:32] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[4:36] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[4:40] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[4:45] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed
[4:48] is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[4:53] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[4:57] Most merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[5:00] Son Jesus, the second sword of sorrow, the flight into Egypt.
[5:06] In the dark of night, Mary gathered her baby and fled her
[5:09] homeland. She left behind family, safety,
[5:12] and everything familiar. The fear of losing Jesus haunted
[5:16] her steps with every mile. This was not the life she
[5:19] imagined, yet she trusted God. Her obedience and exile reminds
[5:24] us that love sometimes demands sacrifice and courage in the
[5:27] face of the unknown. Beloved Mother who has suffered
[5:30] so much, give to us your courageous heart.
[5:33] Please pray for us to have strength so that we can be brave
[5:36] like you and accept with love the suffering God sends our way.
[5:40] Help us to also accept all the suffering we inflict upon
[5:43] ourselves and the suffering inflicted upon us by others.
[5:46] Heavenly Mother, you, in union with Jesus, purify our suffering
[5:50] so that we may give glory to God and save our souls.
[5:54] Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy
[5:58] Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[6:02] Give us this day Our Daily Bread, and forgive us our
[6:05] trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead
[6:10] us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[6:13] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[6:16] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[6:19] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[6:21] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[6:26] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[6:30] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[6:34] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[6:38] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[6:43] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[6:47] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[6:50] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[6:54] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[6:59] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[7:03] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[7:07] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[7:12] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[7:15] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[7:18] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[7:23] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[7:28] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[7:31] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[7:35] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[7:40] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[7:44] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[7:47] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[7:52] the hour of our death. Amen.
[7:54] Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[7:58] Son Jesus, the third sword of Sorrow, the loss of Jesus in the
[8:03] Temple. When Jesus was 12, Mary and
[8:05] Joseph lost him for three days in Jerusalem, three days the
[8:09] same length of time he would later lie in the tomb.
[8:12] Mary searched for her Son with anguish, her heart breaking as
[8:16] she wondered if he was safe. When she found Him in the
[8:19] temple, teaching with wisdom beyond his years, she did not
[8:22] fully understand, but she treasured His words.
[8:25] This sorrow shows us the pain of spiritual loss, those moments
[8:29] when we feel distant from God. Yet it also points us to hope
[8:33] that when we seek Him with all of our heart, we will find Him.
[8:37] Beloved Mother, teach us to accept all our sufferings
[8:40] because of our sins and to atone for the sins of the whole world.
[8:44] Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy
[8:48] Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[8:52] Give us this day Our Daily Bread, and forgive us our
[8:55] trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead
[9:00] us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[9:03] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[9:06] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[9:09] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[9:11] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[9:16] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[9:20] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[9:24] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[9:28] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[9:33] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[9:37] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[9:40] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[9:44] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[9:49] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[9:52] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[9:57] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[10:01] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[10:05] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[10:08] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[10:13] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[10:18] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[10:21] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[10:25] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[10:30] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[10:34] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[10:37] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[10:41] the hour of our death. Amen.
[10:44] Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[10:47] Son, Jesus, the 4th Sword of Sorrow.
[10:52] Mary meets Jesus on his way to Calvary.
[10:55] On the road to Calvary, Mary met her Son, bruised, scourged and
[10:59] weighed down by the cross. Their eyes must have met his
[11:02] filled with pain and love, hers filled with anguish and
[11:05] surrender. Though she could not take the
[11:08] cross from Him, her presence was a strength to Him in that
[11:11] moment. Mary shows us that sometimes
[11:13] love means simply being there, standing beside the suffering,
[11:17] sharing in their burden even when we cannot lift it.
[11:21] Beloved mother, so stricken with grief, help us to bear our own
[11:25] suffering with courage and love, so that we may relieve your
[11:27] sorrowful heart and that of Jesus.
[11:30] In doing so, may we give glory to God who gave you and Jesus to
[11:34] humanity. As you suffer, teach us to
[11:36] suffer silently and patiently. Grant unto us the grace of
[11:40] loving God in everything. O Mother of sorrows, most
[11:44] afflicted of all mothers, have mercy on the sinners of the
[11:47] whole world. Our Father who art in heaven,
[11:51] hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
[11:55] on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day Our Daily
[11:58] Bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
[12:02] who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but
[12:06] deliver us from evil. Amen.
[12:09] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[12:13] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[12:16] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[12:20] the hour of our death. Amen.
[12:23] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art
[12:27] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,
[12:31] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[12:35] hour of our death. Amen.
[12:37] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[12:41] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[12:44] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[12:49] the hour of our death. Amen.
[12:52] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art
[12:55] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,
[12:59] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[13:03] hour of our death. Amen.
[13:06] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[13:10] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[13:13] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[13:17] the hour of our death. Amen.
[13:20] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art
[13:24] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,
[13:28] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[13:32] hour of our death. Amen.
[13:35] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
[13:38] Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
[13:41] womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[13:44] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
[13:47] Amen. Most merciful Mother, remind us
[13:51] always about the sorrows of your Son Jesus, the 5th Sword of
[13:56] Sorrow. Mary stands at the foot of the
[13:58] cross. Mary stood at the foot of the
[14:00] cross as her Son was crucified. Every hammer of the nails echoed
[14:05] in her heart. Every cry of Jesus pierced her
[14:08] soul. Yet she did not turn away.
[14:11] She stood faithful until his last breath.
[14:15] And from the cross Jesus gave her to us.
[14:18] Behold your mother in her sorrow.
[14:21] She became our mother too, teaching us that true love
[14:24] endures to the end, no matter the cost.
[14:29] Beloved Mother, Queen of the Martyrs, give us the courage you
[14:32] had and all your sufferings, so that we may unite our sufferings
[14:35] with yours and give glory to God.
[14:38] Help us follow all His commandments and those of the
[14:40] Church, so that our Lord's sacrifice will not be in vain
[14:44] and all sinners in the world will be saved.
[14:47] Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy
[14:51] Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[14:55] Give us this day Our Daily Bread, and forgive us our
[14:58] trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead
[15:03] us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[15:06] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[15:09] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[15:12] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[15:14] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[15:19] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[15:24] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[15:27] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[15:32] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[15:36] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[15:40] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[15:43] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[15:48] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[15:52] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[15:56] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[16:00] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[16:05] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[16:08] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[16:11] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[16:16] the hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[16:21] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[16:24] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[16:29] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[16:33] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[16:37] thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[16:40] Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
[16:45] the hour of our death. Amen.
[16:47] Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[16:51] Son Jesus. The 6th Sword of Sorrow.
[16:55] Jesus is taken down from the cross.
[16:58] When Jesus died, his body was lowered from the cross and
[17:01] placed into Mary's arms. The lifeless child she once held
[17:04] in Bethlehem now lay cold and broken in her embrace.
[17:09] The image of the Pieta captures this sorrow.
[17:12] A mother holding her Son in grief, yet with perfect faith in
[17:16] God's plan. Mary teaches us that even in the
[17:19] deepest loss, faith can remain. She shows us that love never
[17:24] ends, even in death. We thank you, beloved Mother,
[17:28] for your courage as you stood beneath your dying child to
[17:31] comfort him on the cross. As our Savior drew his last
[17:35] breath, you became a wonderful mother to all of us.
[17:38] You became the Blessed Mother of the world.
[17:40] We know that you love us more than our own earthly parents do.
[17:44] We implore you to be the advocate before the throne of
[17:47] mercy and grace so that we can truly become your children.
[17:51] We thank you for Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, and we
[17:55] thank Jesus for giving you to us.
[17:57] Please pray for us, Mother, our Father, who art in heaven,
[18:02] hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
[18:06] on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day Our Daily
[18:09] Bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
[18:13] who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but
[18:17] deliver us from evil. Amen.
[18:20] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[18:24] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[18:28] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[18:31] hour of our death. Amen.
[18:34] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art
[18:38] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[18:42] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[18:46] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[18:50] Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women,
[18:53] and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[18:56] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[19:00] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[19:04] Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[19:08] is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[19:13] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[19:17] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
[19:20] Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
[19:23] womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[19:27] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[19:31] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art
[19:35] thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
[19:39] Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
[19:43] hour of our death, Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[19:47] Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women and blessed
[19:51] is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
[19:55] for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
[20:00] Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the sorrows of your
[20:03] Son Jesus, the 7th Sword of Sorrow, the burial of Jesus.
[20:09] Finally, Mary followed as her Son's body was laid in the tomb.
[20:13] With each step, she let go, entrusting him into the hands of
[20:17] the Father. She rolled the stone over her
[20:19] own heart that day. Yet even in grief, she clung on
[20:22] to hope. She believed that God would not
[20:25] abandon his Son or her. Her sorrow reminds us that even
[20:30] in the darkest moments, when everything feels lost, God is
[20:33] still faithful and hope will rise again.
[20:36] Most beloved Mother whose beauty surpasses that of all mothers,
[20:40] Mother of mercy, Mother of Jesus and Mother to us all.
[20:44] We are your children and we place all our trust in you.
[20:47] Teach us to see God in all things and all situations, even
[20:51] our sufferings. Help us to understand the
[20:53] importance of suffering and also to know the purpose of our
[20:57] suffering as God had intended it.
[20:59] You yourself were conceived and born without sin, were preserved
[21:03] from sin, yet you suffered more than anybody else.
[21:06] You accepted the suffering and pain with love and with
[21:08] unsurpassed courage. You stood by your Son from the
[21:12] time he was arrested until he died.
[21:14] You suffered along with him, felt his every pain and torment.
[21:18] You accomplished the will of God the Father, and according to his
[21:21] will, you have become our mother.
[21:23] We beg you, dear Mother, to teach us to do as Jesus did,
[21:27] teach us to accept our cross courageously.
[21:30] We trust you, most merciful Mother, so teach us to sacrifice
[21:34] for all the sinners in the world.
[21:36] Help us to follow in your Son's footsteps, and even be willing
[21:39] to lay down our lives for others.
[21:41] Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy
[21:45] Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[21:50] Give us this day Our Daily Bread, and forgive us our
[21:53] trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
[21:57] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[22:01] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[22:04] Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed
[22:07] is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God,
[22:11] pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
[22:15] Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the
[22:18] Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women and blessed
