[0:46] Speaker 3: I've got nothing. I don't know if you've come and
[0:48] Speaker 3: heart with prep but to.
[0:49] Speaker 1: Come and heart but not with prep. But I mean
[0:51] Speaker 1: we can. We can just go with the old tear
[0:52] Speaker 1: that we probably will, but I just don't know what
[0:54] Speaker 1: it's gonna be.
[0:54] Speaker 3: It's gonna be great either way. Tech three for eight three.
[0:56] Speaker 3: Tell us what you want to listen to. If it's

[1:06] Speaker 1: Wow, it's what It's just gone three o'clock on a Friday.
[1:09] Speaker 1: You're probably gonna have a whole bunch of bloody kids.
[1:12] Speaker 1: Is that a good giveaway for you for your trick
[1:13] Speaker 1: or treating? You know the lollies are expensive. Can you
[1:16] Speaker 1: just buy a bag of a snacker changing and just around.
[1:18] Speaker 3: I appreciate savory snack and file as a kid, you know,
[1:21] Speaker 3: instead of getting all the sugar.
[1:22] Speaker 2: Give him a snack of Chamgi chip. There you go.
[1:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, and a little bit of dip as well. That
[1:27] Speaker 1: could get a bit messing.
[1:28] Speaker 2: It's messy starting to dipping around that sort of stuff.
[1:30] Speaker 2: We've got.
[1:31] Speaker 3: We want to know where you are in the country,
[1:32] Speaker 3: what you're wearing, what you're doing, what you're doing for
[1:34] Speaker 3: the weekend. Got big game of rugby on the Sunday.
[1:37] Speaker 3: You've got nothing on.
[1:37] Speaker 1: That either, neither. I think the All Blacks are definitely playing.
[1:40] Speaker 1: I haven't seen that team lest year. Maybe we'll read
[1:42] Speaker 1: that out, I don't know.
[1:43] Speaker 3: Just finishing off the sports smash us massage with mister Chang, right,
[1:47] Speaker 3: you know, my really tired hammies and he needs to
[1:49] Speaker 3: be working on them.
[1:50] Speaker 2: We'll coming. Toward the end of the session.
[1:51] Speaker 3: He goes happy ending, you know, on happy ending, and
[1:54] Speaker 3: I don't actually I don't really need a happy ending
[1:57] Speaker 3: out of that.
[1:58] Speaker 2: And then he says, do you mind if I do?
[2:00] Speaker 2: You know?
[2:00] Speaker 3: And you know, for me, I've found that a little,
[2:04] Speaker 3: I'm professional and little just inserting.
[2:07] Speaker 2: Hey, big news.
[2:09] Speaker 3: Of course, our podcast Paid to Talk is out at
[2:13] Speaker 3: the moment. It's a it's an epic one. It's we're
[2:16] Speaker 3: talking about the TV show Mysterious Planet. Yeah, and some
[2:18] Speaker 3: of them may hand that happened on the show, but
[2:20] Speaker 3: also some of the amazing people we met.
[2:22] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[2:22] Speaker 1: Well, I mean this is part two of the Mysterious
[2:26] Speaker 1: Planet Deep.
[2:26] Speaker 2: It has to be two parts. There's just so much
[2:28] Speaker 2: in it.
[2:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, and I mean you you got to meet some
[2:30] Speaker 1: pretty interesting characters when it came to when you when
[2:33] Speaker 1: you had a trip to Roswell.
[2:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to Roswell Festival and met this guy
[2:36] Speaker 3: who claimed he well, let's hear it from him.
[2:39] Speaker 2: Mate.
[2:39] Speaker 3: You get into the face eventually, and that's where we
[2:41] Speaker 3: get probably our best stuff go. Yeah, and that's interviews
[2:44] Speaker 3: with eyewitnesses, people that have been abducted.
[2:46] Speaker 2: Roll that footage can with.
[2:48] Speaker 3: The aliens and Roswell, the same as the ones that
[2:50] Speaker 3: you saw the big heads in the eyes Oh.
[2:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, some of them are Yeah, no genitalia actually
[2:58] Speaker 4: they do have genitalia, but not I didn't see it
[3:00] Speaker 4: on the males, but I know it on the females,
[3:02] Speaker 4: because I've actually have intercourse with those females several times.
[3:07] Speaker 2: Do you had intercourse with the female?
[3:09] Speaker 4: Yeah, several times, yes, several times.
[3:11] Speaker 2: Yes, before they let me go in the one night.
[3:14] Speaker 4: No, they kept me but a.
[3:15] Speaker 3: Week, and that whole time you were having sex with aliens.
[3:17] Speaker 4: Yeah, well not all the time having sex with but no,
[3:23] Speaker 4: I didn't. I don't know. I didn't have anything we'd
[3:25] Speaker 4: do with them.
[3:26] Speaker 1: But well, really interesting little chat there that you that
[3:30] Speaker 1: you have with that man. If really trying to distance
[3:32] Speaker 1: himself from the even the prospect of sleeping with a
[3:35] Speaker 1: male alien.
[3:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it's amazing, isn't it. You know?
[3:38] Speaker 3: He look, I believe that he believes it that he
[3:40] Speaker 3: had sex with aliens in some form or other. I mentioned,
[3:45] Speaker 3: did you have sex with any of the male aliens?
[3:48] Speaker 3: He seemed quite offended by that. He's almost homophobic. Yeah,
[3:52] Speaker 3: but you know, if you're having sets with an alien,
[3:53] Speaker 3: I don't really think it matters what.
[3:56] Speaker 2: Sets they are.
[3:56] Speaker 3: Really, if sex with a locust, you don't really care,
[4:00] Speaker 3: So I haven't, but I'm saying you would wouldn't.
[4:03] Speaker 2: Matter what sex it was, they'd be the least he worries.
[4:05] Speaker 1: I suppose Yeah, exactly exactly. It's yeah, it's an interesting
[4:11] Speaker 1: hell to die on, sort of defending the fact that
[4:13] Speaker 1: it wasn't a male alien.
[4:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, he almost felt he needed to go on the
[4:18] Speaker 3: front foot on that one. And and in case people
[4:20] Speaker 3: started talking about him, you know, like they weren't already. Yeah,
[4:24] Speaker 3: text three for three if you've had sex with with
[4:26] Speaker 3: an alien?
[4:27] Speaker 2: Or what's the weirdest thing you've had sex with?
[4:29] Speaker 1: Did you get any tips from that man when you're
[4:31] Speaker 1: in Rosevel as to how to pick up aliens?
[4:33] Speaker 3: Perhaps I didn't, But he could also hang on to
[4:37] Speaker 3: extension courts power towards and not get leeducuted.
[4:40] Speaker 1: Wow, what can't the man do? We were just talking
[4:43] Speaker 1: earlier before that song about the latest podcast episode on
[4:48] Speaker 1: page Talk, which is are You Delving into a Mysterious Planet?
[4:51] Speaker 1: The part two where you were talking to a guy
[4:53] Speaker 1: in Roswell who was sleeping with aliens female aliens, not only.
[4:57] Speaker 3: Only only the females, is very you know, careful to
[5:01] Speaker 3: make that point. Yeah, however, however, show that to make
[5:05] Speaker 3: a lot of pressure. One of the most memorable things
[5:08] Speaker 3: I'm glad you asked was when we were finishing the show.
[5:12] Speaker 2: We finished up in Miami. Remember that, you know in
[5:14] Speaker 2: that movie The Hangover, I do. I'm pretty sure.
[5:18] Speaker 3: Almost hime percent sure that the screenplay, the idea for
[5:22] Speaker 3: that movie came from an experience we had in Miami
[5:25] Speaker 3: prior to that movie coming out. We were in Miami.
[5:27] Speaker 3: We pretty much foundished filming, or we decided we'd had enough.
[5:31] Speaker 3: So we had a pretty big night out. This is
[5:33] Speaker 3: about four of us, four or five of us on
[5:35] Speaker 3: the crew, and we went to a lot of bars,
[5:37] Speaker 3: a lot of clubs and stuff, and it was a
[5:40] Speaker 3: big night.
[5:40] Speaker 2: It's just that it was a big night.
[5:42] Speaker 3: And I remember wake up in the morning in a
[5:44] Speaker 3: motel or hotel, I couldn't tell you which one it was.
[5:47] Speaker 1: And a hotel or a hotel, Yeah.
[5:49] Speaker 2: And we're all in disarray around the room, and.
[5:55] Speaker 3: I realized that we had no credit cards, no company
[6:00] Speaker 3: credit cards, nothing, nothing had all gone.
[6:04] Speaker 2: No receipts, no receipts, nothing from the whole show. We've
[6:07] Speaker 2: we've been on the road for eight weeks.
[6:09] Speaker 3: Everything related to the show financially was you know, I
[6:13] Speaker 3: had disappeared.
[6:14] Speaker 2: So that's a bit of a worry, you know.
[6:16] Speaker 3: We had to get back to New Zealand and we
[6:17] Speaker 3: still had a bit of you know, tv Z were
[6:19] Speaker 3: probably more worried than we were. And then of course
[6:23] Speaker 3: we had no idea where we asked each other what
[6:25] Speaker 3: had happened. And then we saw this little video camera
[6:28] Speaker 3: on the end of the bed or on the floor
[6:30] Speaker 3: if I recall. You know that weird obviously, and I
[6:33] Speaker 3: think we're taking this out with us that night. So
[6:35] Speaker 3: someone had the idea, you know, who knows, maybe we
[6:38] Speaker 3: could look at that camera and maybe might give us
[6:42] Speaker 3: some clues as to how we all finished.
[6:44] Speaker 1: Up a couple of couple of puzzle pieces.
[6:46] Speaker 3: There you go, Hence the hangover movies. So we ended
[6:48] Speaker 3: up watching this this footage. So and I starts off, okay,
[6:51] Speaker 3: us having dinner downtown and run a few bars, a
[6:54] Speaker 3: few clubs, gets more and more handheld, so to speak,
[6:58] Speaker 3: all over the show, and then finally there's this scene.
[7:03] Speaker 3: The final scene is three of the guys and then
[7:06] Speaker 3: there's a downtown city fountain in the middle of town
[7:10] Speaker 3: and these guys are I must be fomming it because
[7:13] Speaker 3: I'm not in it, and they're jumping around tackling each
[7:16] Speaker 3: other in this this fountain, water spraying everywhere, and they're
[7:18] Speaker 3: laughing and the semi nude and that's the last piece
[7:22] Speaker 3: of footage. Then it goes the static. So we take
[7:25] Speaker 3: the camera down to the reception and to the girl
[7:28] Speaker 3: behind the desk at the hotel and say, look, do
[7:30] Speaker 3: you know where this fountain is and she goes, yeah,
[7:33] Speaker 3: that's this place down the road there. It's called this
[7:36] Speaker 3: You take a left, take it right two blocks out. Great,
[7:39] Speaker 3: So we rush down to the fountain.
[7:41] Speaker 2: I don't know why we.
[7:41] Speaker 3: Thought would go there because that's obviously the last place
[7:44] Speaker 3: we're aunt. And sure enough, in the fountain floating that
[7:47] Speaker 3: people are. This is kind of it's still about ten
[7:49] Speaker 3: in the morning, but people are starting to gather around
[7:51] Speaker 3: the fountain as the wood. But in the fountain it's
[7:54] Speaker 3: all our credit cards and receipts and stuff, and we're
[7:58] Speaker 3: just floating around in the fountain. So anyone else is
[8:01] Speaker 3: they're taking photos, you know, in front of this beautiful fountain,
[8:03] Speaker 3: and we're sort of waiting in again and instead of grabbing
[8:07] Speaker 3: collecting all our sort of you know, all our lost items, receipts, bills.
[8:12] Speaker 1: All the receipts that you're going to have to crack
[8:14] Speaker 1: out the here dry for and hand back to TVNZ
[8:16] Speaker 1: totally and.
[8:16] Speaker 3: Credit cards, which is probably the main thing. But just
[8:19] Speaker 3: go to show. You know, if you're film stuff, you can.
[8:21] Speaker 1: Always do you still wear that footage you wed.
[8:24] Speaker 3: Actually made it into the show we were so short
[8:27] Speaker 3: of you know, on the last episode that actually was
[8:30] Speaker 3: the scene in the show.
[8:30] Speaker 1: We used it. So I think we might need to
[8:32] Speaker 1: get that up on the page talk social pages as well.
[8:39] Speaker 1: Big game this weekend, Lee, I believe nine am, Chicagy, Chicago, Yeah,
[8:44] Speaker 1: Soldier Field all backs taking on Ireland.
[8:46] Speaker 3: A better history, a bit of context. Of course, that's
[8:48] Speaker 3: where we first lost to Ireland.
[8:50] Speaker 1: Ever twenty sixteen, I believe, Yeah.
[8:52] Speaker 2: Twenty sixteen. I remember that now.
[8:54] Speaker 3: I always thought for some reason, I didn't think we
[8:56] Speaker 3: should be playing that game anyways.
[8:57] Speaker 2: Seemed a bit of a festival sort of game.
[8:59] Speaker 3: But anyway we did, we lost, and the rest is history.
[9:01] Speaker 3: I think it's been fifty to fifty since then.
[9:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, ten tests since and five apiece.
[9:07] Speaker 2: May as we've done tens tests since.
[9:10] Speaker 1: I suppose it was nine years ago.
[9:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, but we don't pay them every year. There's been
[9:13] Speaker 2: a World Cup course anyway, what as you know, I'm
[9:19] Speaker 2: body good.
[9:20] Speaker 3: Made of mind, body Barret yeah, mate, But yeah, I
[9:26] Speaker 3: was going to get him on the show actually and
[9:27] Speaker 3: have a chat to him about the team and how
[9:29] Speaker 3: they're feeling over there, actually pretty excited. But we worked
[9:32] Speaker 3: out that the times are so different over there, it's
[9:35] Speaker 3: a bit of a.
[9:35] Speaker 2: Pain the hose for having all you oh both, well
[9:38] Speaker 2: not so much of us with Ron here. But I
[9:39] Speaker 2: don't know. It's probably about three in the morning there,
[9:41] Speaker 2: so what's the point of getting him in now?
[9:43] Speaker 3: So then we thought, why not get him on the
[9:45] Speaker 3: show when they get back from the tour. But then
[9:47] Speaker 3: we said, what's the point of that. The game's already
[9:50] Speaker 3: over and who cares anymore? So we flagged it anyway.
[9:53] Speaker 1: He's no good to us once the game's not good
[9:55] Speaker 1: to us. Yeah, well, I've got the team list here.
[9:57] Speaker 1: I actually noticed that he's the only one from the
[9:59] Speaker 1: twenty fifteen World Cup winning team.
[10:01] Speaker 2: Was that right?
[10:02] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[10:02] Speaker 1: Well he won that? Which one isn't a great no,
[10:06] Speaker 1: Codie Taylor? Yeah no, I don't think so. Was his
[10:09] Speaker 1: double check there? Might have checked that, might have a
[10:11] Speaker 1: double check there, But I've got the team.
[10:13] Speaker 3: Look, I'll give my my expert opinion on each of
[10:16] Speaker 3: the mate perfect Ethan de greet Okay, Cody Taylor feature
[10:20] Speaker 3: and your no, I've got that.
[10:22] Speaker 1: Scott Barrett yep, Holland Yes, Parker.
[10:27] Speaker 2: Like him yep. Larkye, you can't go past the Ardie.
[10:31] Speaker 1: You got to Roy guard Barrett, Yeah, of course. Jordy yep,
[10:37] Speaker 1: quantupaya Ukayler Clark not Carter and Will Jordan.
[10:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not bad.
[10:46] Speaker 1: Gonna be a lot of trick of treating this afternoon.
[10:48] Speaker 2: You see, you're a fan of that kind of thing. Yeah.
[10:51] Speaker 1: Well, I've got a couple of little kids, so we
[10:52] Speaker 1: just sort of go around the neighbors that we know
[10:54] Speaker 1: and and get some sugar and then try to throw
[10:57] Speaker 1: them out before they eat them all.
[10:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, literally, Yeah, Yeah, well that just it's wasn't
[11:02] Speaker 3: such a big thing when I was younger. It's an American
[11:05] Speaker 3: tradition that's can hold here commercialism like Christmas in a way.
[11:09] Speaker 2: It's it's getting bigger and bigger. Yeah. Look, well there
[11:13] Speaker 2: has no harm done, and good.
[11:15] Speaker 3: People get involved and they do their houses up and
[11:18] Speaker 3: stuff pretty bad. When people complain about you, you know,
[11:21] Speaker 3: they look at your house and you know they think
[11:23] Speaker 3: you've done like a you know, a Halloween kind of
[11:26] Speaker 3: set up.
[11:26] Speaker 2: With the cobbeb and stuff. But actually that's how you.
[11:28] Speaker 1: Have actually just run down the most terrible Yeah exactly.
[11:31] Speaker 1: Was that what your place looks like?
[11:32] Speaker 3: No, not at the moment, but I've had that before.
[11:34] Speaker 3: But I think, you know, what, what do you give them?
[11:36] Speaker 3: I mean, I I've been guilty. I'm underprepared. People are
[11:40] Speaker 3: coming in and knocking on the door. The kids, you
[11:42] Speaker 3: feel terrible. So sometimes you are literally giving them a
[11:45] Speaker 3: spoonful of sugar, you know, put their hands out and
[11:48] Speaker 3: put some sugar in there in the hand or unfortunately
[11:51] Speaker 3: so or.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Something that the optics that there aren't great because it
[11:54] Speaker 1: kind of looks like you're giving kids heroin.
[11:56] Speaker 2: Yeah they can do.
[11:58] Speaker 1: What about what about cigarettes?
[12:01] Speaker 2: Would you hang out cigarette?
[12:02] Speaker 1: Well, I just have a little I've seen that done before,
[12:04] Speaker 1: just a little dish of cigarettes and you can take one,
[12:07] Speaker 1: or if they're running low, you can just sort of
[12:08] Speaker 1: light one and take take a drag and put it back.
[12:10] Speaker 3: Yeah, and pass them back. Yeah, why not savory items?
[12:14] Speaker 3: As I say, didn't have to be sweet. But remember
[12:16] Speaker 3: it used to be trick or treat. What's happened to
[12:18] Speaker 3: the trick?
[12:19] Speaker 1: The trick part?
[12:19] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[12:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, there used to be and now they just expect chocolate.
[12:22] Speaker 3: The trick would be if you didn't give them something,
[12:25] Speaker 3: they hose you down or something, you know, with a
[12:29] Speaker 3: water pistol or something. You don't really see the trick much.
[12:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't get a lot of tricks these days.
[12:34] Speaker 1: You still sort of partake. I suppose you can't really
[12:36] Speaker 1: now with older kids. You don't really have kids to
[12:39] Speaker 1: shape her own.
[12:40] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a bit weird.
[12:41] Speaker 3: I mean, in the last couple years they have been
[12:43] Speaker 3: guilty of sort of tagging along with you know, a
[12:46] Speaker 3: group of a posse of kids. I suppose you call it,
[12:48] Speaker 3: you know, young kids. But you know, when you're my age,
[12:51] Speaker 3: that can that the optics can look pretty weird.
[12:53] Speaker 2: And you don't even know any of them.
[12:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, and you hang around if you're just for their safety,
[12:58] Speaker 3: you know, hoping that there might be a hot single
[13:00] Speaker 3: mum or something that at the at the other end
[13:03] Speaker 3: of the door. You know.
[13:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, even if your intentions are pure, then there's probably
[13:07] Speaker 1: gonna the optics of that. If you're following a group
[13:09] Speaker 1: of kids that you don't really know, you're probably going
[13:10] Speaker 1: to find yourself.
[13:11] Speaker 2: Especially if you're in a van. Yeah, you know, you're
[13:13] Speaker 2: slightly behind them.
[13:14] Speaker 1: Suddenly you're going to be finding yourself on a special
[13:16] Speaker 1: registry and not being allowed to drive back skills.
[13:19] Speaker 2: That's how it starts.
[13:20] Speaker 3: A lot of people texting in, of course, about whether
[13:22] Speaker 3: they've well, you know, people have had sex with aliens.
[13:26] Speaker 3: Brian from Timuru Rights. I didn't have set for an alien,
[13:29] Speaker 3: but I had sex with a goat.
[13:31] Speaker 1: No, see this not different. There's something completely different. Yeah,
[13:35] Speaker 1: there's nothing impressed about having sex with the go a
[13:39] Speaker 1: male or female? Is that an impromptuy? Leehart's name that
[13:47] Speaker 1: Joan I want to say. I'm going to say, wish
[13:58] Speaker 1: you were here?
[13:59] Speaker 3: No, no, no dud.
[14:03] Speaker 2: People texted in three for eight three. It's an imprompture.
[14:06] Speaker 1: You're Oh if someone takes it in yet, I think
[14:10] Speaker 1: they're there.
