## Transcript

[0:01] Hello, welcome to The Real Deal, a Real Madrid podcast.
[0:06] Here's Sid. He's back.
[0:08] He disappeared. He was getting ready to do the
[0:10] intro and he damaged. What's going on everyone?
[0:14] And just happy to be here and discuss the Venicia situation.
[0:17] We're getting a lot of questions issued a big apology on social
[0:20] media and Gerard has a lot to say about this today as well.
[0:25] And you know, there's there's been a lot of questions on the
[0:27] Twitter. We've been getting a lot like
[0:29] there. I saw some interesting ideas.
[0:31] Emil Sorrell, which we'll put up the tweet later, was talking
[0:34] about how if it's from Jay-Z and Roc Nation that like he, like in
[0:39] Venice's apology, he left out Jabi Alonso, the coach
[0:42] specifically. I think that's the big, the big
[0:44] question and everyone has. We'll just get straight to it.
[0:47] Why did he not mention Jabi Alonso?
[0:49] The report from Seputar Real Madrid, an aggregator, said that
[0:53] he did apologize to the coaches on the training ground.
[0:57] Yeah. So Emil Sorrell says Roc Nation
[0:58] and Jay-Z mean that he might have purposely worded it in a
[1:01] way where there's no Jabi Alonso.
[1:03] People are asking in general, is he upset he can't get back to
[1:06] Bollendorf's status and that Alonso's putting Boppy ahead of
[1:09] him? And, yeah, are people are
[1:12] asking, is it on purpose? Is did he purposely not named
[1:14] Jabi? And what's the issue?
[1:16] Jerrod, what do you think? There's so much to unpack here,
[1:20] Sid, in terms of the apology, what happened, everything else.
[1:24] And I think it's it's good to start from sort of where it all
[1:28] began from, right? And it is this change in Jaby
[1:31] Alonso coming to be the coach of this team, replacing Carlo
[1:34] Angelotti, right, who Vinny saw as a father figure, right?
[1:39] Someone he was very close to and embraces a very warm, touchy
[1:43] feely kind of a guy, right, in terms of how he communicated
[1:45] with the players. Jabby Lanza is a complete
[1:48] opposite of that, right? We've served proportionally
[1:50] athletic come out where the player stopped.
[1:52] He's a little bit standoffish and distant, right, Not leading
[1:55] with the warm and fuzzies, much more of a, you know, this is how
[1:58] I want things structured type of approach, right?
[2:01] And that's that's like night and day, right.
[2:03] So that's a shock to your emotional system, right?
[2:07] Your everything. You're just like, whoa, whoa,
[2:09] whoa, wait a minute. I used to have this like Papa
[2:11] bear dad guy, and now I got drill Sergeant dude rolling in
[2:15] here right? Like this is this is a shock to
[2:17] the system. And we know about how under
[2:20] Carlo, Vinicius was seen as the main protagonist would play full
[2:23] 90s all the time, was never benched, even when and let's be
[2:27] clear about something. Benny would have moments went
[2:30] under Ancelotti where he would throw up his hands or be annoyed
[2:33] when Carlo asked him to do something, right.
[2:35] The difference was Carlo would just hug him and not make a big
[2:37] deal out of it and right, and it would just get moved on and he
[2:40] wouldn't talk about it, right. Well, Chavi's not doing that.
[2:43] He's handling it a very different way.
[2:44] Oh, that's how it's going to be. Well, you're not going to play
[2:47] now. I'm going to sit you to start
[2:48] the next game or what have you, right.
[2:49] And so the all of that context is important to understand
[2:54] what's happening now, right? So Benny sat a couple games
[2:56] earlier, didn't play full 90s, so you already had that in his
[2:59] mind. And the other big elephant in
[3:02] the room said his contract extension has not been finalized
[3:05] yet. If there's one thing that
[3:07] professional athletes like, and I know this from my time in the
[3:09] NBA or on the NFL, like in any sport, they like routine.
[3:15] They like to know what's already expected of them.
[3:18] They like to have things established.
[3:19] And because they want repetitive motion day after day, same thing
[3:22] day in, day out, day in, day out.
[3:24] So all of a sudden now none of that is true for Vinny, right?
[3:27] Everything's in flux. So his emotional state,
[3:32] everything is just going haywire in his system right now.
[3:35] On top of the fact that, yeah, I also need you to play elite
[3:37] level football, right? OK, that's, that's a lot to to
[3:41] to manage. And so we saw what he did after
[3:45] the when he got subbed out during during a classico.
[3:48] It's always me, it's always me. You know, that's it.
[3:51] I'm going to leave the team right as as it as it was quoted
[3:53] as as saying. Now I said this on that post
[3:56] game show, Sid, in that moment I understood his frustration.
[4:00] I didn't like his reaction, but I understood the frustration.
[4:03] Your issue is I don't work hard enough off the ball, out of
[4:06] possession. I would argue that was his best
[4:09] game under Chabi Alonso. Out of possession and off the
[4:12] ball, he was working his ass off.
[4:14] Yes, he was tiring in the second-half, as most of them
[4:16] were, but he was still a protagonist on offense, right?
[4:20] He caused the first penalty, he led to what should have been a
[4:23] third goal, right, Had Imbabe not touched the ball in an
[4:26] offside position, right? He was really cooking on both
[4:29] ends of the pitch. And so to feel like, OK, I'm,
[4:32] I'm, I'm done with the guy asked me.
[4:34] And now he's taking me off when I'm doing, I'm pissed.
[4:37] And these are again, ultra competitive people that this is
[4:41] how they're going to react in the heat of it.
[4:43] And then he said as much in his in his apology.
[4:46] So I'll read it for you guys here today.
[4:48] I want to apologize to all the Montre Desus for my reaction
[4:50] when I was substituting the Classico, just as I've already
[4:53] done in person during today's training.
[4:54] I also want to apologize again to my teammates, the club and
[4:57] the president. Sometimes passion gets the
[4:59] better of me because I always want to win and help my team.
[5:01] My competitive character stems from the love I feel for this
[5:04] club and everything it represents.
[5:05] I promise to keep fighting second of the for the good for
[5:08] Real Madrid, as I have done since the first day.
[5:11] Now, what is everybody saying about that?
[5:13] He did not mention apologize to Javi Alonso, but I said mention
[5:18] we do know that he did apologize to Javi and the coaches.
[5:21] Now, I've said this before and you guys know this.
[5:23] Athletes are very intentional in just about everything they do.
[5:27] You don't get to this level without being intentional with
[5:31] what you do. That's just the nature in which
[5:33] they operate. Do I think it was a pointed
[5:37] move? It would have been different had
[5:38] he not apologized to Job Beat, as as was reported, right?
[5:42] But he did. But leaving him out of the
[5:44] statement, Yeah, it was a little bit of an intentional thing,
[5:47] right? Because what we're having here
[5:49] is, for lack of a better term, a power struggle, right?
[5:54] And sports is a funny thing, Sid.
[5:57] If you look at the org chart for any sports organization, right,
[6:01] you got your head of the organization, the owner at the
[6:03] top, right, your CEO, president, general manager or whatever.
[6:06] Then you split to sort of two sides of the of of the of the
[6:10] org chart, the basketball or the the football side, right?
[6:14] What's actually happening on the pitch and the business side at
[6:18] the top of the football side is the head coach in terms of
[6:21] organizational structure, right? Or the manager that would be
[6:23] Javi Alonso than all the players underneath.
[6:26] But what's odd about that, Sid, is that from a pay perspective,
[6:31] just about every player under the coach gets paid more than he
[6:35] does. So it's this weird thing where
[6:38] you are paid handsomely and wait, I got to listen to
[6:41] somebody who gets paid less money than I do, right?
[6:43] There is a weird psychology that happens there.
[6:46] And you see it all the time in all professional sports, right?
[6:49] Which is why the saying always is players always stick around
[6:52] longer than managers do, right? Because it's much easier when
[6:55] things are going wrong for the club to be like, we'll just get
[6:57] a new manager in here because they make less money, right?
[6:59] They're the more replaceable thing in theory.
[7:02] Whereas the elite player or where we're going to find
[7:05] another Vinnie like that doesn't just grow on trees, right?
[7:08] And so this is your tension and your challenge and it is a
[7:13] delicate thing to balance. As I said, when Javi got the job
[7:17] and we were all excited. I'm I'm still excited tactics
[7:22] and what happens on the pitch is literally 1% of the job.
[7:27] The other rest is all this other shit, right?
[7:31] It's how you manage these kinds of situations.
[7:34] That is where Carlo was a mastermind, right?
[7:37] Like you. That's where Phil Jackson's so
[7:39] good. That's where.
[7:40] So Steve Kerr is excellent at this.
[7:42] This is where you have to figure out, OK, how do I deal with this
[7:46] situation? I have the most ultra
[7:48] competitive people in the world and I have to figure out how to
[7:52] assuage their feelings, make them feel good about themselves,
[7:55] while also getting what I want out of them at the same time.
[7:59] And see, that's not an easy job. That's fucking really difficult
[8:03] to do. Yeah, it definitely is.
[8:07] And I think also when you have a team of stars, when you're
[8:11] trying to build a super team, the harder and harder it gets.
[8:14] It's hard to build, keep great teams together for a long time.
[8:18] 2017 Real Madrid, for example, was only together for one year.
[8:22] You can't then Thomas is like, that's enough of like being left
[8:25] out of the squad for big games or at this like get me a team
[8:28] where I can score. So that's always gonna happen.
[8:33] I think. Yeah, it's, it's a big
[8:34] adjustment for Vinnie just going from like 4 years of Carlo, like
[8:37] Carlo just like, it's just funny.
[8:39] There are consequences to winning with the coach who's
[8:42] like so old and using ways that are just very different from the
[8:45] modern. And so when you implement
[8:47] something like what Alonzo's doing can seem very foreign to
[8:50] the team. And yeah, you do need to be able
[8:53] to back the coach. Like I think, I think it's
[8:55] interesting the club didn't discipline Vinny, and I think
[8:57] it's because he issued the apology and was willing to do
[9:00] so. The main thing is, do you think
[9:03] like the wording was specific? Do you think you know I have
[9:06] this thing displayed on the screen here?
[9:08] Do you think you think Jay-Z Roc Nation had something to do with
[9:10] the wording 1 like? I want to be clear about about
[9:14] Roc Nation. Like, yes, Jay-Z owns it, but
[9:16] it's not like Jay-Z is telling Vinicius, yo, don't put.
[9:20] First of all, Jay-Z didn't even know who the fuck Chabi Alonso
[9:22] is, OK? Like, let's like, no, like Jay-Z
[9:25] isn't telling Vinny. All right, when you write it
[9:27] like this, don't put no. However, do I think that his
[9:31] representatives and group saw what he was going to post and
[9:35] said OK, yeah, it's OK leaving him out right?
[9:37] Because everything you're trying to do in this kind of a
[9:41] situation, Sid, is you're trying to gain leverage, right?
[9:45] And it's always a little bit of 1 upsmanship, right?
[9:48] It's OK. Yes, I apologize to Javi Alonzo
[9:50] and the coaching staff and he knows that because I was there
[9:53] and apologize to him, right? But I'm going to leave him out
[9:56] of this apology because what that suggesting is that he and
[9:59] he and I, even though I apologize, we are not all
[10:03] rolling in the same direction right now.
[10:04] We don't see eye to eye on this thing, right?
[10:07] That's that's what that omission is saying, right?
[10:10] We are not seeing eye to eye right now on how he wants to
[10:13] manage things. And will we at some point, maybe
[10:17] right, But the but time will tell.
[10:18] So for sure it was intentional. I believe wholeheartedly.
[10:22] Now, I also think on the Javi Alonso side, Sid, I think Javi
[10:28] Alonso, again, for lack of a better term, using Vinny as his
[10:34] proxy to show that his dominance is also a calculated move,
[10:38] right? He's like, OK, in order for me
[10:40] to show that I have control this team and what I say goes, I
[10:45] can't do this to Fran Garcia because that doesn't like who's
[10:49] Fran Garcia in the pecking order, right?
[10:51] But if I do this to Vinicius, who?
[10:53] Second in the balloon door, like right?
[10:55] Main protagonist for many seasons here, 1/2 Champions
[10:58] League. The other players will say, well
[11:00] shit, if you can do that to Vinnie, what does that mean for
[11:03] me? Who's a lesser player than
[11:04] Vinnie, right? So it's both men trying to
[11:07] assert that quote UN quote, I'm the man, right?
[11:13] So am I right? And the two of them have to
[11:15] figure out how they're going to balance their, again, for lack
[11:19] of a better word. Alpha maleness, yeah, it's for
[11:24] sure. And Alonzo is a very pet.
[11:27] Pep always won those battles against his players over the
[11:29] years. Enrique, it's funny, Luis
[11:31] Enrique took six months to really figure it out with Messi
[11:34] and Neymar. People just think it's going to
[11:36] happen overnight here. But what we thought didn't help
[11:38] because it's just such a weird environment where you're not
[11:41] even able to get your ideas across.
[11:43] With that being said, I think the main question is, like with
[11:46] Vinny, has his career trajectory gotten to a point where he could
[11:49] actually leave? Is the big concern probably on a
[11:52] lot of fans minds? Like, is he going to leave?
[11:55] There's no question what Alonzo is doing is right for the team
[11:58] and what's needed for the team just starting there.
[12:00] But I I would argue that what's right for the team is going to
[12:03] end up being what's right for Vinny.
[12:04] And, you know, display these questions on the screen.
[12:06] You guys can kind of read them if you're on video, if you're on
[12:08] audio. Vinny not winning the bond door
[12:11] was so heartbreaking. And he knows Mbappe has crazy
[12:14] potential. And he can see now that Alonzo's
[12:16] putting Mbappe in the positions as the main central score.
[12:20] Vinny doesn't have the same freedom he got in Carlos last
[12:22] year where he was playing both roles.
[12:24] He was playing the winger role, but he also had games where he
[12:27] was playing up front and then you had the Bayern tie where he
[12:29] did one leg of like striker, one leg of winger.
[12:33] But it was like he was the man. No matter what the idea was,
[12:35] he's the man now. There can be 30 minutes of a
[12:38] game where he doesn't get as many touches, but we achieve our
[12:41] objectives as a team and that is just not something he's used to
[12:46] now. I think the main thing is like,
[12:48] on some level, Vinny is an archetype I've accepted now
[12:52] after as many months as we've been.
[12:54] He's not like as pure of a Neymar Lamine archetype.
[12:56] He's a little more scorer, a little more Cristiano.
[12:59] Cristiano and Bale, though, were symbiotic at times, but it took
[13:02] some time to fit them in together.
[13:04] You needed to get the defense right.
[13:06] Carlo needed six months to get that Bale, Benzema, Cristiano
[13:09] team right. And statistically now just going
[13:12] over where we are, it's been up and down, but there have been
[13:16] phases where Vinny's look crazy and you can kind of see
[13:21] displayed progressive receptions are up through the roof.
[13:23] He's getting a lot of ISO touches on the wing.
[13:25] And honestly, just like Jude, he's playing a way more
[13:29] efficient role. Yes, the expected goals and
[13:31] assists are down now, but that's after the Classico.
[13:34] Going into the Classico, I believe he was basically right
[13:37] there with like or at least a game or two ago.
[13:41] His production was right there with the Benzema year, just it
[13:44] was slightly lower than 2324 but in line with the other years.
[13:47] He's getting a ton of ISO touches.
[13:49] Yes he has to defend more, but he doesn't have to carry the
[13:52] ball 100 yards all the time. I think we have enough talent
[13:55] where this eventually becomes a situation where they add to each
[14:01] other. And I admit now that it's not as
[14:03] simple as messy Neymar, Suarez, because over the years I'd
[14:06] always make that comp find messy and Neymar's dual play making
[14:10] scoring like Mbapi doesn't have that play making.
[14:12] Vinny's needs to develop it and even his play making is a tier
[14:14] below Neymar and that's the main difference here.
[14:17] And even then it's like his expected assistant goals are
[14:20] around the point 32.3 mark. The fact that he's taken a leap
[14:23] but we see you so much more room is because on some level for
[14:27] these like 3 headed offenses to work like you need a little more
[14:30] of the passing. Like it's the scalability
[14:32] concept. Gerard from basketball.
[14:34] Like why are the 2017 Warriors one of the best teams ever?
[14:37] Because Steph and Katie are amazing both off the dribble and
[14:40] off the catch. Off movement went benefiting off
[14:43] other people's space and you had guys like Draymond who would
[14:45] move it around. Steph didn't care if he got it
[14:47] or not. He would take the double s and
[14:48] get someone else open. Barcelona had a bit of that of
[14:51] everyone's willing to take their man off.
[14:53] The other one they played together.
[14:55] I've we've gotten out of each other's way so far.
[14:58] I think when they start playing together, my prediction is these
[15:00] numbers go up and I think Vinnie in negotiations realizes I'm
[15:04] never going to get to play with Mbappe, Bellingham, Trent,
[15:06] Alexander Arnold again. When Trent's gone, Trent's that
[15:09] big playmaker who completes the piece for us in many ways.
[15:11] We don't expect it from the current guys.
[15:13] And by the way, we're going to talk about that on a Liverpool
[15:16] preview and another hour after this.
[15:17] Make sure you're doing if you're tuned in on this live stream.
[15:20] But yeah, Long story short, I think we're still going to
[15:24] figure it out. But I see why it's taken longer
[15:27] than I expected. I was a little arrogant when
[15:28] they went about they first joined.
[15:30] I just thought they're going to do it.
[15:31] And I see that it's it's going to take a little longer.
[15:34] And I think some of that is they need to develop play making.
[15:37] Someone else needs to do more play making for them.
[15:39] Like the numbers need to go up a little more.
[15:41] But I think what we've seen on the pitch is a sign it'll be
[15:45] fine. And like the reaction is
[15:47] separate from the fact that anyways, we've seen improvement.
[15:50] And I still think there's more room on top of that, which is
[15:52] important because I've been harping about changes and
[15:54] celebrating, but I'm not done celebrating.
[15:56] There's more, it's just one. Oh, we we talked about Laconte
[15:59] and I did on the on the Monday show after El Classico.
[16:03] They're ceiling. There's just still so much more
[16:05] room for growth, right? So again, we're talking about an
[16:08] unsettled situation, Sid right, where Benny is transitioning
[16:13] into this new role and he's starting to get it right.
[16:16] We talked about it, right? Like he was in many ways the
[16:20] main creator of offensive action on Sunday, right?
[16:24] Like with what he was doing. And that's just getting better
[16:27] and better, right? But it's still, it isn't an
[16:29] automatism yet for him, right? Because it's still, he's still
[16:32] learning it. That is an uncomfortable
[16:35] situation to being in on the football pitch.
[16:38] Binny's a strict instinct. See the game, read, do what I
[16:41] got to do, right? He still is a little bit still
[16:43] there to go in terms of thinking.
[16:45] And then again, that automatism level add that with what I said
[16:51] about his contract situation is also not resolved another
[16:55] unsettled situation, right? This is a lot of uncertainty and
[16:59] unsettledness, right? When you are on certain
[17:02] unsettled, you react in very strange and odd ways, right?
[17:08] Like he did on Sunday, right? This is a way that that happens,
[17:10] right? Because again, as he said, the
[17:12] passion, I'm so amped. I want to do this for this club
[17:14] and all these things because here's the thing.
[17:16] So not only does he want his contract to be set, he wants to
[17:19] get back to that balloon door level as quickly as possible
[17:23] too. On top of that in this new
[17:25] system, right? So it's a lot of things he wants
[17:28] to happen now, now, now, now, now.
[17:30] And so you're getting frustrated.
[17:31] There's all these different things happening, right?
[17:34] So yes, in a particularly hot contested environment like an El
[17:39] Classico, yes, you're gonna, shit's gonna pop off sometimes,
[17:45] right? By the way, folks, this is
[17:48] professional sports. It happens all the fucking time,
[17:52] all the time. Sometimes we see it, sometimes
[17:54] we don't. But I promise you, your favorite
[17:56] team in any sport, this shit happens all the time.
[18:00] Yeah, totally. And I mean, Ronaldo used to like
[18:03] there was Ronaldo. Ronaldo was sad.
[18:06] Yes, sad, sad Cristiano. Like I remember I that was when
[18:10] I just started following the club.
[18:11] I heard it like no, like I just heard about this guy.
[18:13] He's not sad. He's not leaving.
[18:14] No like. It is, it's wild, man.
[18:17] Like it. It's just, it is a pressure
[18:21] cooker environment. And then the idea of knowing
[18:23] that everything you do is going to be dissected and talked about
[18:26] 9,000,000 times like it's, it is, this is just the nature of
[18:31] how it works in highly competitive environments.
[18:33] And how some people react now is ESPN and all the major people,
[18:38] are they milking it for content? Yes, obviously we know that.
[18:41] Duh, right. However, it's not to say there's
[18:44] nothing there, right? It's, it's, it's not nothing,
[18:47] right? Yes, they are throwing gasoline
[18:50] on, on something, but there's stuff there, There are
[18:53] underlines of things there and we see it.
[18:55] It is very evident. Yeah, totally.
[18:58] And any closing thoughts here? My, I was just predictions.
[19:02] My prediction would be that we get a renewal and I believe we
[19:08] don't budget on getting him a bigger deal.
[19:11] He is a bit like Ronaldo where he's going to act out sometimes,
[19:13] but I don't think he gets to as long as he stays in line salary
[19:16] wise with what Florentino considers fair, I think we'll
[19:19] get the deal done. I don't know.
[19:21] There's some people have suggested the deal is kind of
[19:24] close and they just haven't announced it.
[19:25] I don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
[19:26] It might even be there. Yeah, you know, who knows?
[19:30] But regardless, I guess I'm I'm just hoping that they get the
[19:34] deal done and this is just a lot of good social media impressions
[19:36] that increases our brand value so we get more sponsorships so
[19:39] we can go and sign more players. I'm just hope because, you know,
[19:43] everyone's milking it good. Like that means, you know, you
[19:45] bring that up in the negotiations for the next
[19:47] Galacticos and say look how much look what's happening.
[19:50] They're just talking about everything with us on.
[19:52] I'm I'm a I'm a firm believer that the renewal will happen.
[19:56] It's going to happen at a number that yes, Madrid wants, but also
[19:59] that Benicius feels good with. And ultimately, as we close here
[20:03] said, you mentioned the Golden State Warriors and I think it's
[20:05] an apropos team dimension because they're a perfect
[20:08] parallel to this situation right now in that Steve Kerr more
[20:14] often than not wants to kill Draymond Green.
[20:16] Like literally like those two came to blows at.
[20:20] Almost to blows at half time in the locker room and police had
[20:23] to be called inside right Like Steve Kerr has been caught on
[20:27] camera saying I am so sick and tired of Draymond shit like like
[20:32] all right, like it's been picked up a million times.
[20:34] Draymond punched a teammate in the face on camera, right.
[20:38] Yet what keeps happening? Draymond keeps coming back and
[20:41] getting renewed. Steve Kerr keeps coming back and
[20:43] getting renewed, right. Ultimately, when you are
[20:47] successful and both players, both the player and the coach
[20:51] are contributing to winning, they're going to keep, they're
[20:54] going to stick it out for as long as both of them want to
[20:57] deal with it. But the minute that either we
[20:59] see losing coming or I don't want to deal with it, one or
[21:03] both will be like, I'm out of here and I want to do my own
[21:05] thing, right. That's just how that's the cycle
[21:07] of how these things work. So again, my position is to to
[21:10] Madrid fans have a little bit of nuance with that, right?
[21:14] And just understand that this this type of situation happens.
[21:17] Coaches and players don't all need to be buddy buddy.
[21:19] Would it be nice if everybody got along and sang Kumbaya?
[21:22] Sure. But the reality is 99% of teams
[21:26] that win, it ain't like that, right?
[21:27] There is always this kind of undercurrent that goes on.
[21:30] Yeah, yeah. Lastly, I just don't know who's
[21:33] going to be able to sign him in Europe other than the cheaters.
[21:34] PSG maybe, but like, they're cheaters, but we wouldn't tell
[21:38] them to them one. But regardless, like, I don't
[21:40] it's hard to get a guy like that right now without gunning your
[21:42] team. It would be Saudi.
[21:43] And I just think he ends up wanting to, like, win more
[21:46] Champions League. That's this is the best place to
[21:48] do that. There's nothing better for your
[21:49] resume. Good luck winning more anywhere
[21:52] but here. Yeah.
[21:54] And well, that's all for today's show, I think.
[21:57] But we're going to be back in an hour.
[21:59] I will be joined by Josh Williams of LFCTV Anfield Rap to
[22:04] preview Liverpool, Real Madrid, talk about Trent's returns at
[22:07] Enfield, Trent starts a life at Rial and all those good things.
[22:10] Josh is a big Liverpool analyst so really excited to do that
[22:14] one. Also guys, we are going to be
[22:16] launching some more a membership at some point for people who
[22:19] want to just join us. Like we're going to do shows way
[22:21] more around the clock. All our big post game shows and
[22:24] a lot of the content we do now already will continue to be free
[22:27] at all times. Still going to be putting out
[22:29] like 3 to 4 free pieces of content every week.
[22:32] We're also just going to be doing more fun stuff, maybe live
[22:34] streams, playing video games and just chatting football, talking,
[22:38] maybe even basketball with Gerard sometimes, maybe some
[22:41] NBA2K Luca Doncic, you know, you never know.
[22:45] He's forever trying to get me to play video games and I'm like,
[22:48] bro, I have not owned the system since.
[22:49] What did I tell you? Hey, he has three.
[22:52] Hey, good news guys. Now we can be on the show while
[22:54] I'm playing games and Gerard can watch and you can ask Gerard
[22:56] questions and we can, we can answer all the questions.
[22:58] So Gerard has a reason to hang out and watch me while talking
[23:01] about. I actually can't wait, to be
[23:05] honest. I feel like that's the it's like
[23:06] the ultimate like I'm really excited to do that.
[23:08] But I know a lot of you guys like talking about high level
[23:11] things and I do too. And I want to do it more often
[23:13] on a fun basis. So we will be offering more of
[23:15] that for those of you who are interested.
[23:18] So thank you all for tuning in. Make sure you subscribe, leave
[23:21] us a like, make sure you tune in for the next episode as well and
[23:26] see you guys later.
