[1:01] SPEAKER_07: No, I don't complain.
[1:02] SPEAKER_07: My hair are small things.
[1:03] SPEAKER_07: Here are small things.
[1:03] SPEAKER_07: But you see, also, I don't date women who have to rely on men for hair.
[1:06] SPEAKER_07: That is very true.
[1:07] SPEAKER_00: You get it's not about relying.
[1:10] SPEAKER_07: When I'm giving, I don't give and say, you have this is for your hair, you have this is for your nails.

[1:31] SPEAKER_07: As long as she thinks it's funny, you're funny.
[1:33] SPEAKER_07: That's enough funny.
[1:33] SPEAKER_07: But if you think I'm not funny, that's on you.

[1:51] SPEAKER_08: Oh, yeah, finally.
[1:53] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[1:54] SPEAKER_08: This is the time you people change your accents, you change your height settings, you change your location on your Twitter.
[1:58] SPEAKER_08: People be adding flags on their Twitter to Shumbu.
[2:02] SPEAKER_08: Have you ever been to Kenya?
[2:04] SPEAKER_08: A guy reaches Boose and then puts the Kenyan flag to the Tanzania flag.
[2:09] SPEAKER_08: Okay, no, but there's also boost head, Kenya.
[2:11] SPEAKER_00: Have you ever realized a pattern on Twitter that if someone has a flag, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[2:19] SPEAKER_00: There's a question mark on their opinions.
[2:22] SPEAKER_02: There's just something always, most times.
[2:25] SPEAKER_02: It's a very that's something I've also noticed.
[2:27] SPEAKER_02: It's uncanny, it's very strange.
[2:29] SPEAKER_02: Every time that you know I don't even know if there's a WhatsApp group they have.
[2:34] SPEAKER_00: Wait, they have one.
[2:35] SPEAKER_02: Are they like European country?
[2:38] SPEAKER_02: No, Uganda in a Uganda, as long as you see a flag, they have like a Ugandan flag, like a Urandan flag, flag is any opinion they are about to give.
[2:50] SPEAKER_02: But I do know some cool people who have flags, they happen to be in the wrong WhatsApp group, but tell them you know, like every time something is happening on Twitter and you say something stupid, right?
[3:04] SPEAKER_00: And then your username has the flag on it.
[3:06] SPEAKER_00: I won't even fight with you.
[3:08] SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, it makes sense, yeah.
[3:11] SPEAKER_08: Okay, thank you guys for thank you guys for all the support in the comment section.
[3:14] SPEAKER_08: You've kept it real.
[3:15] SPEAKER_08: You saw a nyege episode, that was uh a late one.
[3:18] SPEAKER_08: All of all of those who tagged us, who phoned us, and who hollered at us, there's a guy who taught me how to speak Japanese.
[3:26] SPEAKER_08: Really?
[3:26] SPEAKER_08: You speak from you speak from the stomach.
[3:29] SPEAKER_08: Exactly.
[3:30] SPEAKER_08: It was you.
[3:31] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it was B woo.
[3:32] SPEAKER_08: I was telling you a guy taught us how to speak Japanese.
[3:34] SPEAKER_08: It was B woo.
[3:35] SPEAKER_08: It was B wood, not Saba.
[3:38] SPEAKER_00: Hold up, guys.
[3:42] SPEAKER_00: Hold up, guys.
[3:44] SPEAKER_00: You don't remember who taught you?
[3:46] SPEAKER_05: But it's been two weeks.
[3:48] SPEAKER_00: I just know someone taught us, but not one week, it's been one week.
[3:52] SPEAKER_00: Two weeks now.
[3:59] SPEAKER_08: So, guys, the holidays are here.
[4:01] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, um I'm one of those people who have been complaining that uh solemn.
[4:08] SPEAKER_07: Happy December, guys.
[4:09] SPEAKER_07: Happy December.
[4:10] SPEAKER_08: That's in December.
[4:11] SPEAKER_08: Very important.
[4:14] SPEAKER_08: I had to first test it's not poison before I cheer poison.
[4:18] SPEAKER_02: I can't celebrate my if it is poison, you are still going to die.
[4:21] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but you don't celebrate the death.
[4:24] SPEAKER_08: Apparently, if you cheer poison, you cannot die.
[4:26] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you there's a way.
[4:28] SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
[4:28] SPEAKER_07: So you're some chemistry.
[4:32] SPEAKER_07: I mean, meanwhile, he's alive, bro.
[4:36] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so as I was speaking about uh the December holidays, yeah, and the Christmas spirit, I brought that up because uh I was going through the news and I found out Maria Carrie's All I Want for Christmas song ever since it was released, has so far under about 60 million dollars.
[4:52] SPEAKER_00: Just a song?
[4:53] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, and apparently she makes three million dollars every time during Christmas period from royalties because people are playing.
[5:00] SPEAKER_08: I know in the US and uh abroad they actually pay, even if the song is 10 years old, they'll still pay you royalties to play that song.
[5:07] SPEAKER_08: So literally, Carrie doesn't have to do anything for the rest of the year.
[5:11] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, she just has to leave, and every Christmas she's actually money in the bank, yeah.
[5:17] SPEAKER_08: And the money keeps increasing, keeps going up because more people play that song, more people love that song.
[5:23] SPEAKER_08: Exactly.
[5:24] SPEAKER_08: And this is proof that outside there, the Christmas spirit is real.
[5:27] SPEAKER_08: People are saying I want to relocate.
[5:31] SPEAKER_08: It is December, and it's a twin of goons with the twin of lights, the twin Christmas.
[5:37] SPEAKER_00: Let's be very clear.
[5:42] SPEAKER_00: It's not out of choice.
[5:43] SPEAKER_00: Bro, by the way.
[5:46] SPEAKER_07: This song was like in the early 2000s, right?
[5:49] SPEAKER_02: No which song?
[5:50] SPEAKER_02: The Christmas.
[5:52] SPEAKER_07: What are you talking about?
[5:55] SPEAKER_07: And uh stats are saying that she has so far gunned only 60 million.
[5:59] SPEAKER_00: Only that's one song.
[6:01] SPEAKER_07: That's so little.
[6:01] SPEAKER_07: What are you saying?
[6:02] SPEAKER_07: That's a budget of an entire movie.
[6:04] SPEAKER_04: Which one by the way?
[6:07] SPEAKER_02: No, no, yeah, yeah, by the way.
[6:09] SPEAKER_02: Like a low budget movie, yeah.
[6:10] SPEAKER_02: Like which one?
[6:11] SPEAKER_02: Guys, like in a in an average romantic comedy.
[6:15] SPEAKER_07: Telenovella.
[6:16] SPEAKER_02: No, a romantic comedy.
[6:18] SPEAKER_02: 60 to 100.
[6:22] SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's still so way like it's so.
[6:31] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that's over the real song, right?
[6:35] SPEAKER_02: But over and above that, there are other things.
[6:36] SPEAKER_02: There's merchandising.
[6:38] SPEAKER_02: Over this, yeah, you know, there are performances.
[6:41] SPEAKER_02: You know, when people do a cover of the song, she gets she earned like there's a lot more she earns from from the song.
[6:47] SPEAKER_02: That's just royalties, my dear.
[6:49] SPEAKER_08: Like the money they can track online, but the money they pay her to go perform.
[6:52] SPEAKER_08: There's a lot, yeah.
[6:53] SPEAKER_02: No one knows is merchandising, but online in terms of royalties.
[6:57] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but either way, guys, I feel like she's she makes she has made a uh Ine.
[7:00] SPEAKER_08: You are talking about what movies cost within 60 million dollars.
[7:03] SPEAKER_08: The hangover was uh 58 taken.
[7:07] SPEAKER_08: Every average John Week chapter.
[7:10] SPEAKER_08: John Wick, yes, taken.
[7:12] SPEAKER_08: What John Week cost 55 million dollars.
[7:14] SPEAKER_08: Shutter Island Knives Out, the equalizer, 55 million dollars.
[7:18] SPEAKER_08: What's equalizer?
[7:19] SPEAKER_08: Uh Denzel Washington.
[7:20] SPEAKER_08: Denzel Washington.
[7:21] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, the taxi also by Jackie Chan.
[7:23] SPEAKER_08: So 60 million dollars.
[7:25] SPEAKER_02: Oh no, but you'll get as if as if for him.
[7:27] SPEAKER_08: You got million dollars.
[7:29] SPEAKER_08: Like, what's the most number of dollars you have ever caught?
[7:32] SPEAKER_08: I think not in Uganda.
[7:33] SPEAKER_08: In dollars.
[7:34] SPEAKER_07: In dollars.
[7:35] SPEAKER_07: Uh, the most I think was uh was uh 27,000.
[7:42] SPEAKER_07: Don't ask me 27,000, yes.
[7:45] SPEAKER_07: But it was not it was for my father, still it's a lot of money.
[7:52] SPEAKER_08: Uh but yeah, so guys, are you feeling that spirit?
[7:54] SPEAKER_00: Not yet, but I have my reasons, guys.
[7:57] SPEAKER_00: I am such a lover of Christmas.
[8:00] SPEAKER_00: I love Christmas so much.
[8:01] SPEAKER_00: I'm not kidding.
[8:03] SPEAKER_00: Not having a Christmas tree and a thing is is purely out of poverty, it's not out of choice.
[8:09] SPEAKER_00: If I had a choice, I would have like the biggest tree, and we would all be in Christmas sweaters now.
[8:17] SPEAKER_00: I love Christmas, but because right now I am so stressed, peppers I can barely breathe.
[8:23] SPEAKER_00: You know what I love the most about Christmas?
[8:27] SPEAKER_00: It's the Christmas movies.
[8:28] SPEAKER_00: I am a romantic, and that's so much television.
[8:32] SPEAKER_00: So after Peppers, I'm going to couch road.
[8:36] SPEAKER_00: The only thing I'll be doing is shooting the pod and watching Christmas movies only.
[8:44] SPEAKER_07: Okay, let me tell you something about Christmas.
[8:46] SPEAKER_07: This happened to me about uh five years ago.
[8:49] SPEAKER_07: There was this chick I was with, and you know how you start a relationship, but in a flingy way.
[8:54] SPEAKER_07: It was a flingy.
[8:55] SPEAKER_02: No, we don't know how you do that.
[8:56] SPEAKER_07: I'm saying it's a good one.
[8:57] SPEAKER_07: Like he's asking.
[8:58] SPEAKER_02: Oh, you're talking okay.
[9:00] SPEAKER_05: Well, you know how you what the hell is a flingy way?
[9:04] SPEAKER_05: Like, right?
[9:05] SPEAKER_05: Like you're not serious, like seriously.
[9:07] SPEAKER_05: It's a joke, yeah.
[9:08] SPEAKER_07: So uh continue.
[9:09] SPEAKER_07: So so during this particular time in December, we started watching uh Christmas movies together.
[9:15] SPEAKER_07: Okay, yeah, with baby with that chick, and then for some reason, she had to fly out of the country with apparently family for Christmas holidays and shit like that, and you know, didn't that chick dump Myers on 24th December, you guys?
[9:31] SPEAKER_07: The day before Christmas, the day before Christmas.
[9:34] SPEAKER_02: No, I'm happy for her.
[9:35] SPEAKER_02: Maybe maybe she got sick.
[9:37] SPEAKER_02: You have to free yourself of certain baggage.
[9:41] SPEAKER_02: Jesus is about to be born.
[9:42] SPEAKER_02: You need to encounter him when you flee.
[9:45] SPEAKER_07: Jesus is my brother.
[9:46] SPEAKER_07: Oh god, we shall the same father.
[9:49] SPEAKER_08: Jesus had hair, by the way.
[9:50] SPEAKER_08: There's a there is a genetics, usually when you're related to someone, you know, that some of course you don't photocopy, photocopy, but there's some things look at the beard.
[9:58] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but he had hair too.
[10:00] SPEAKER_08: Is this you?
[10:01] SPEAKER_08: First count the hair here on my own.
[10:03] SPEAKER_08: How many disciples do you have?
[10:04] SPEAKER_08: You have more than Jesus, so obviously I try to keep the number to 12.
[10:09] SPEAKER_07: I I can bet if Jesus was in these times, uh, he would be able to do it.
[10:13] SPEAKER_02: But you know, for me for me for me to be honest, uh December, December has uh I understand why the spirit is not very there in especially in Uganda for a number of reasons.
[10:22] SPEAKER_02: One, as Mutoso said, the economy is not very, it doesn't support a Christmas mood.
[10:28] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, you can't just go around and buy Christmas lights and you know decorate your house.
[10:33] SPEAKER_02: It's not when you have yaka to pay, you have all these things.
[10:36] SPEAKER_02: The power goes.
[10:38] SPEAKER_00: Then two and the lights go off.
[10:40] SPEAKER_02: Two, we are being confused by politics right now.
[10:44] SPEAKER_02: About you know, whatever.
[10:47] SPEAKER_02: So people have little time to to be with their families and celebrate and stuff like that.
[10:51] SPEAKER_02: And sadly, and perhaps most importantly, sometimes you outgrow certain things.
[10:56] SPEAKER_02: You know, you outgrow them.
[10:57] SPEAKER_02: When you're young, there are certain things like celebrating a birthday, which is a big deal to you, like a must have a cake.
[11:02] SPEAKER_02: When you get older, you're like, oh shit, was my birthday twice ago.
[11:05] SPEAKER_02: Shit.
[11:06] SPEAKER_02: No, no, that's it.
[11:07] SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you outgrow.
[11:08] SPEAKER_02: Maybe not you.
[11:09] SPEAKER_02: But there's people who get to a point, even when you're celebrating it, you're like, oh, I'm I'm happy I'm making I'm growing older.
[11:14] SPEAKER_02: It's okay, okay, fine.
[11:15] SPEAKER_02: But you're not, you know, you don't you don't you don't get blown away.
[11:19] SPEAKER_02: You don't the your world doesn't stop because your birthday is when I grow up, I want to my world will stop.
[11:24] SPEAKER_02: But you come here, you will come this side.
[11:26] SPEAKER_08: When I grow up, I want to age.
[11:28] SPEAKER_01: I want to age like when you've seen many birthdays, eh?
[11:30] SPEAKER_01: You will come here.
[11:31] SPEAKER_08: I want to age like mommy debt take every important day very seriously.
[11:36] SPEAKER_08: If you have the money, why not?
[11:38] SPEAKER_08: If you don't get the money, I want to take it seriously.
[11:40] SPEAKER_07: If you don't have the money, my friend, the word happiness rotates so much around money.
[11:46] SPEAKER_07: Look in that camera and say it again.
[11:48] SPEAKER_07: The word happiness rotates around money, a lot of it, a lot of it getting into for me.
[11:55] SPEAKER_00: When someone tells me, oh, money does not buy happiness, I don't think we can be friends because you don't get it.
[12:01] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, you don't get it, you don't get it because for me just misuse the phrase, and that's a very long topic.
[12:06] SPEAKER_00: Like for me, if you're a believer of oh, happiness comes from within, money does what do you mean?
[12:13] SPEAKER_00: We can't be friends because you can't.
[12:15] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I'll stay away from that topic because yeah, but some people it is true in some way, but yeah, yeah, apart from money, what else makes you happy?
[12:23] SPEAKER_07: The money put us in.
[12:26] SPEAKER_08: Let me tell you in this life, there are things that will torture you, and it does not.
[12:30] SPEAKER_08: You saw what uh uh what Basa Jabalava was saying, how he said he had what three billion Ugandan shillings to get the mom's heart, but because it was Germany and they follow specifically, yeah.
[12:44] SPEAKER_08: But at least he had the money to imagine.
[12:46] SPEAKER_05: At that point in time, yeah, who wouldn't no no no no who wouldn't want their mom to be alive?
[12:51] SPEAKER_08: So what would a poor person have that anyone and has it?
[12:53] SPEAKER_08: Guys, listen to me.
[12:55] SPEAKER_08: Listen to me.
[12:56] SPEAKER_08: Who wouldn't want their mom to be alive?
[12:58] SPEAKER_01: Everybody would.
[13:02] SPEAKER_08: Let me first take your phone.
[13:03] SPEAKER_08: Now listen to me.
[13:05] SPEAKER_08: Listen to me, yeah?
[13:07] SPEAKER_08: If I have all the money in the world that anyone would want, but I cannot even save my mom.
[13:12] SPEAKER_08: Do you think there's anything else that can make me happy?
[13:14] SPEAKER_02: No, but you still say poor man can't save his mom equally.
[13:17] SPEAKER_02: Let's make anything.
[13:19] SPEAKER_06: You can expect a poor man.
[13:21] SPEAKER_08: You have extra yet.
[13:24] SPEAKER_08: Hold on, let me tell you.
[13:25] SPEAKER_08: I'm going to feel worse because you believe and have the money, but you can't.
[13:28] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but you've worked on that.
[13:30] SPEAKER_08: You have to make two billion Ugandan shillings.
[13:33] SPEAKER_02: Two billion Ugandan shillings, but you still can't save your mom.
[13:37] SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, your mom will pass, you're poor.
[13:40] SPEAKER_00: My mom will, I am rich, right?
[13:43] SPEAKER_00: On that funeral, on top of you mourning your mom, you will be collecting money to feed people's strangers.
[13:51] SPEAKER_00: Strangers in your because you're poor on that funeral, you'll be there begging people to help you buy.
[13:57] SPEAKER_00: What do you guys buy?
[13:58] SPEAKER_00: Those things, the Muslims that don't use coffee.
[14:02] SPEAKER_00: Me, like all I have to do is like feel my pain.
[14:06] SPEAKER_00: But you you can't even do that.
[14:07] SPEAKER_00: But you're both in pain.
[14:13] SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you something.
[14:16] SPEAKER_08: Yes, exactly.
[14:16] SPEAKER_08: Which both worse problems than four people?
[14:19] SPEAKER_08: We keep talking about this thing.
[14:24] SPEAKER_08: A rich person has a problem of 500 million.
[14:26] SPEAKER_08: Your problem is 50 million.
[14:27] SPEAKER_08: You don't want that problem, you don't want that company.
[14:32] SPEAKER_08: Me, I want problems of 100 M 1 billion shillings.
[14:35] SPEAKER_08: I wish I'm like, come on, guys, I'm stressed.
[14:37] SPEAKER_08: I need to look for a billion shillings.
[14:39] SPEAKER_07: When Kumi Tano Zikulemi Akani is a money, if a rich person walks people, if a rich person bigger problem their stress is one billion shillings, they have higher chances of getting that money than that poor man who has woken up with a stress of 50k.
[14:53] SPEAKER_01: True.
[14:54] SPEAKER_01: No, he has less chance of getting it.
[14:55] SPEAKER_01: By the way, five, five.
[14:56] SPEAKER_01: No, let's agree to disagree.
[14:58] SPEAKER_02: Let's agree to disagree.
[14:59] SPEAKER_02: Richtig.
[14:59] SPEAKER_02: Yes.
[15:00] SPEAKER_02: But the the the point that they were making is for Basaj Balaba to be able to say that I was in Germany.
[15:05] SPEAKER_02: You know, we looked for first of all to have the opportunity to be there itself.
[15:10] SPEAKER_08: It doesn't matter.
[15:11] SPEAKER_08: It matters.
[15:13] SPEAKER_08: I am rich going to Germany at that point in time, it doesn't matter.
[15:16] SPEAKER_08: It matters something I can do anytime.
[15:18] SPEAKER_08: You see, let me take it up, you guys.
[15:24] SPEAKER_08: If I let me dress it, let me drink it.
[15:26] SPEAKER_08: Anyway, uh, get into your week.
[15:28] SPEAKER_08: Now we have growth.
[15:29] SPEAKER_08: Week very predictable, very predictable.
[15:32] SPEAKER_00: But as I was saying, uh was your week this week has been uh has lost my own.
[15:42] SPEAKER_00: Which is also okay.
[15:44] SPEAKER_08: I don't get jealous like women.
[15:45] SPEAKER_08: You know, women don't like losing.
[15:47] SPEAKER_08: Well, they don't want to be wrong.
[15:49] SPEAKER_08: G me if I lose, I lose.
[15:51] SPEAKER_08: They're going to cancel us.
[15:52] SPEAKER_08: Amused.
[15:52] SPEAKER_02: They're going to cancel us.
[15:54] SPEAKER_08: I in it.
[15:54] SPEAKER_08: Don't don't cancel everyone, guys.
[15:56] SPEAKER_08: Cancel me, but no one.
[15:58] SPEAKER_02: And now they're going to ask us to cancel you, also.
[16:01] SPEAKER_02: So women don't so women like losing.
[16:03] SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
[16:04] SPEAKER_02: The point you're making is very sexist.
[16:06] SPEAKER_02: That you're saying women like losing and men don't.
[16:09] SPEAKER_00: Preach, preach, preach.
[16:10] SPEAKER_00: That's not necessarily true.
[16:12] SPEAKER_08: But all human beings are watching this podcast will make their own conclusion because these facts are there in the world.
[16:19] SPEAKER_08: I don't know why we have to craft intellectuals.
[16:21] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, to veil.
[16:22] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, that's very too.
[16:24] SPEAKER_07: My week.
[16:24] SPEAKER_07: Uh, it's been amazing.
[16:25] SPEAKER_07: I've been listening to a lot of RB music.
[16:27] SPEAKER_07: Uh, there's an old school picnic event happening at Sheraton on Saturday, so I've been like listening to it, and you know, it's actually on Sunday, so this pod is going to drop before the event.
[16:38] SPEAKER_07: So my entire week has been about reminiscing, listening to RB music, sing alongs, putting myself in the mood.
[16:45] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[16:46] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[16:47] SPEAKER_07: Because uh I got a I got a vision that this December, my green card is that's why you're wearing green.
[16:55] SPEAKER_05: Yeah, this is live.
[17:00] SPEAKER_00: For confirmation purposes, I know.
[17:02] SPEAKER_00: Don't leave me hanging, my guy.
[17:05] SPEAKER_00: Aine for confirmation purposes.
[17:08] SPEAKER_00: I have my ticket.
[17:09] SPEAKER_00: I want you to say it mulwatu.
[17:12] SPEAKER_02: What's your ticket for?
[17:13] SPEAKER_00: Our ticket.
[17:14] SPEAKER_07: You said you promise isn't that what she said?
[17:18] SPEAKER_07: That's why isn't that what she said?
[17:20] SPEAKER_02: I don't know what I don't know.
[17:23] SPEAKER_07: You say it'll get a muratu.
[17:25] SPEAKER_07: I have my ticket.
[17:26] SPEAKER_07: That's what you said.
[17:26] SPEAKER_00: Actually, no, I said that you have my ticket.
[17:30] SPEAKER_00: Tom Zabzamgo.
[17:32] SPEAKER_00: I know that Luganda is speaking.
[17:35] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[17:35] SPEAKER_07: Do you have your white outfit though?
[17:37] SPEAKER_00: I bought it the following day when we agreed.
[17:40] SPEAKER_00: So let me tell you, Aine, do you have my ticket?
[17:46] SPEAKER_00: Do you want to our tickets?
[17:49] SPEAKER_08: Our tickets, not just our tickets.
[17:51] SPEAKER_00: Now go yeah.
[17:52] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I got you guys.
[17:56] SPEAKER_07: I'm going to look now.
[17:58] SPEAKER_07: You can even change from my room.
[17:59] SPEAKER_07: I'll be at Sheraton, okay?
[18:01] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[18:01] SPEAKER_00: Change in your room.
[18:02] SPEAKER_02: So yeah, for me, uh change in your room.
[18:07] SPEAKER_07: For me, my week you might not want your white clothes to get dirty as you come.
[18:12] SPEAKER_07: Since I'm going to have a room at the room.
[18:15] SPEAKER_02: We can change in your room.
[18:16] SPEAKER_07: All of you at once.
[18:20] SPEAKER_07: Now in the guy just decides to disorganize your outfit.
[18:26] SPEAKER_00: I don't okay.
[18:29] SPEAKER_07: Anyway, that was my week.
[18:32] SPEAKER_02: Um December.
[18:35] SPEAKER_02: Yes.
[18:36] SPEAKER_02: Uh, 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
[18:40] SPEAKER_02: And uh I'm happy that the campaign has garnered quite a bit of traction, especially from a number of men.
[18:49] SPEAKER_02: That you know, we are trying to change mindsets, people's minds.
[18:53] SPEAKER_02: That uh when you talk about violence, it covers so many things, not only just cover the emotional, the financial, all these things.
[19:01] SPEAKER_02: So people are learning.
[19:02] SPEAKER_02: Apart from that, obviously the month of December, relatives start to look up, look up your number.
[19:09] SPEAKER_02: They're like, Hey, by the way, this is Uncle Gundy.
[19:11] SPEAKER_02: The whole year he hasn't said anything.
[19:13] SPEAKER_02: Now when December is like, hey, so this is Uncle Gundi.
[19:15] SPEAKER_02: When you're coming for Christmas, bring for me some shoes.
[19:18] SPEAKER_02: So phone calls have started coming in.
[19:20] SPEAKER_02: Oh, you've received some relatives are very prompt by first December.
[19:24] SPEAKER_02: Phone calls start coming in.
[19:26] SPEAKER_08: I watched a video of someone on TikTok.
[19:28] SPEAKER_08: Sorry, I watched a video of someone on TikTok and he was telling people that the family members and everyone who's going to ask me for money in December, ask me two weeks in advance.
[19:38] SPEAKER_08: Don't come today and tell me, man, I need 20k today.
[19:41] SPEAKER_08: No.
[19:41] SPEAKER_08: If you know you need 20k in two weeks, tell me now.
[19:45] SPEAKER_08: By the way, in two weeks, Jagal won't pay you like Om Twalugumu.
[19:49] SPEAKER_08: In those two weeks, just prepare like a 10k.
[19:51] SPEAKER_08: But these things of calling him today, you need emergency money.
[19:54] SPEAKER_08: No emergency money in December.
[19:56] SPEAKER_08: All money is dirty money.
[19:58] SPEAKER_07: So if someone needs some money from you, they have to call you like in advance.
[20:02] SPEAKER_08: Like in advance.
[20:02] SPEAKER_08: But now for me, I'm taking a month's notice.
[20:04] SPEAKER_08: So basically, so not giving out money in December.
[20:08] SPEAKER_08: If you didn't call me in November to tell me, that means wait for Jan.
[20:13] SPEAKER_08: It's okay.
[20:13] SPEAKER_08: January.
[20:14] SPEAKER_08: It's okay.
[20:14] SPEAKER_08: We shall be taking January.
[20:17] SPEAKER_01: This man is calling me to book for December.
[20:25] SPEAKER_05: You're gonna book in January.
[20:26] SPEAKER_05: For January.
[20:27] SPEAKER_05: How much do you want?
[20:28] SPEAKER_05: 300k.
[20:29] SPEAKER_05: Now for the waiting list.
[20:31] SPEAKER_05: 2030.
[20:33] SPEAKER_05: Yes, in the new gym, 2030.
[20:36] SPEAKER_02: But behavior.
[20:38] SPEAKER_02: That's what's happening.
[20:38] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but also December.
[20:39] SPEAKER_07: Try and stay away from borrowing.
[20:42] SPEAKER_07: Don't go to borrowing December.
[20:44] SPEAKER_08: That's a challenge, my dear.
[20:45] SPEAKER_08: That's a challenge.
[20:46] SPEAKER_07: Don't be the guy.
[20:47] SPEAKER_08: What's as you're waiting?
[20:49] SPEAKER_00: I am healing from the wounds that the semester has inflicted on me.
[20:56] SPEAKER_00: I am looking forward to Christmas.
[21:00] SPEAKER_02: To matching pyjamas.
[21:02] SPEAKER_00: Yes.
[21:03] SPEAKER_00: Wait, what?
[21:04] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[21:04] SPEAKER_00: With you guys.
[21:05] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[21:05] SPEAKER_00: I am.
[21:06] SPEAKER_02: We have to.
[21:07] SPEAKER_02: We have to, by the way.
[21:08] SPEAKER_02: So we are going to like you.
[21:09] SPEAKER_00: All I have now.
[21:11] SPEAKER_02: This man.
[21:12] SPEAKER_00: Too much.
[21:12] SPEAKER_00: We have to do matching pajamas.
[21:13] SPEAKER_00: You don't need to do matching pajamas.
[21:16] SPEAKER_07: That's all of Ambala matching.
[21:19] SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, you will never get a chance to match pjers with a woman.
[21:22] SPEAKER_00: I am giving you the opportunity.
[21:23] SPEAKER_00: Take it.
[21:24] SPEAKER_05: You guys.
[21:27] SPEAKER_07: Don't ask me to mention women and then put him in jail.
[21:32] SPEAKER_07: That is unacceptable.
[21:33] SPEAKER_06: Sit your dick down.
[21:39] SPEAKER_00: You are a man.
[21:40] SPEAKER_00: This is just a mother, by the way.
[21:42] SPEAKER_00: That's nice.
[21:43] SPEAKER_08: This is just to say, by the way, the motil is just acting.
[21:46] SPEAKER_08: She's actually not uh showing that she has lost her argument, she's just acting.
[21:51] SPEAKER_08: There's no losing about continue, he was saying.
[21:56] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, besides me healing from what the semester did to me, I Not done anything, I'm just living life existing.
[22:05] SPEAKER_02: I I do you think this year has been good?
[22:07] SPEAKER_02: Has this year been good generally?
[22:09] SPEAKER_02: Or you think it's been good?
[22:11] SPEAKER_00: It's been fair.
[22:12] SPEAKER_00: I I've had some losses.
[22:14] SPEAKER_00: I have cried a good number of tears, but I have laughed a good number of do I call them laughters?
[22:22] SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
[22:23] SPEAKER_00: I have done some things that I am proud of.
[22:26] SPEAKER_00: I've not done anything I'm not proud of this year.
[22:30] SPEAKER_00: My mental health has been fluctuating, but that's okay.
[22:34] SPEAKER_00: It happens to the best of us.
[22:36] SPEAKER_00: Nang and Emota.
[22:37] SPEAKER_00: Has this year been good to you?
[22:38] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[22:39] SPEAKER_07: I mean, I'm still thinking about the question.
[22:40] SPEAKER_07: Even though what do you think?
[22:42] SPEAKER_00: I'm very easy.
[22:42] SPEAKER_08: Yes.
[22:43] SPEAKER_08: Definitely, definitely fucking at least.
[22:45] SPEAKER_08: Do you know what has happened around the world?
[22:47] SPEAKER_08: No, for you, I'm talking about you.
[22:49] SPEAKER_08: Amazing.
[22:49] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[22:50] SPEAKER_08: Amazing because I'm happy.
[22:51] SPEAKER_08: My parents are fine, no one has pastored.
[22:54] SPEAKER_08: My entire inner circle is fine.
[22:55] SPEAKER_08: No one has pastored.
[22:56] SPEAKER_08: Nothing serious has survived there.
[22:59] SPEAKER_08: Yes, thanks.
[23:01] SPEAKER_08: I did a programming course this year.
[23:03] SPEAKER_08: Um, I mean, I'm still in a relationship, so a lot of like I have a lot of things to be grateful for, honestly.
[23:10] SPEAKER_08: Even my religion has really been intact this year.
[23:13] SPEAKER_08: I meet people and they recognize the signal.
[23:16] SPEAKER_08: Those are the things that make my years so that's nice.
[23:19] SPEAKER_08: Which scares me because every time I have a good year, now I'm like, what next?
[23:25] SPEAKER_08: I don't know how next year is going to be.
[23:26] SPEAKER_08: But maintaining the things the way they are right now, however, however, however, I have one more milestone left.
[23:34] SPEAKER_08: I remember in the beginning of this year, I told you guys I wanted to buy a car.
[23:38] SPEAKER_08: Right?
[23:40] SPEAKER_08: The first podcast back then, yeah.
[23:42] SPEAKER_08: So I have 30 days left to do that.
[23:46] SPEAKER_02: No, they are less than 30.
[23:47] SPEAKER_08: I have 30 days left.
[23:50] SPEAKER_08: Okay, yes, yeah.
[23:52] SPEAKER_08: I have less than 30 days to do this, but don't worry.
[23:55] SPEAKER_08: The car have my mind you off it.
[23:58] SPEAKER_02: Okay in your mind.
[23:59] SPEAKER_08: Yes, in my mind.
[24:00] SPEAKER_08: Like when I'm jumping, it's not just a two-seater, it's you know, when I'm jackujumbo.
[24:03] SPEAKER_08: I mean, so just keep praying for me.
[24:05] SPEAKER_08: Um nothing serious.
[24:06] SPEAKER_08: People pray for me.
[24:13] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I tell you up, I stopped doing uh, you know how Faiso just talked about how the things that he wanted to do, he has a cut to go.
[24:24] SPEAKER_00: I stopped doing New Year resolutions, like I don't do them at all.
[24:28] SPEAKER_09: Why?
[24:29] SPEAKER_00: Because I feel like that's really unnecessary pressure.
[24:34] SPEAKER_00: It's so much pressure, and like life is so fucking unpredictable.
[24:38] SPEAKER_00: Like you don't know.
[24:40] SPEAKER_00: So at the end of the year, your mind will be so focused on your vision board, right?
[24:48] SPEAKER_00: That somehow you will not look at all the other things that you've achieved actually achieved outside your vision board.
[24:56] SPEAKER_00: So you stop doing it.
[24:57] SPEAKER_00: And I keep telling myself, when the year begins, give it your best.
[25:00] SPEAKER_00: Do your absolute best to take one day at a time, one week at a time, and then after the year is done, then reevaluate and be like, Oh, I went through this and like it didn't break me.
[25:13] SPEAKER_00: I achieved this, I did this, that way you actually see like everything in its you know.
[25:20] SPEAKER_00: But when you have a vision body like shit, I didn't do this.
[25:24] SPEAKER_00: This and this, but like you forget that beyond this, this, and this, there is this longer list that you've actually achieved.
[25:32] SPEAKER_00: Anyway, for me, I know longer list.
[25:34] SPEAKER_07: I have an answer to your question, how this year has been.
[25:37] SPEAKER_07: Okay, it has been a bomboclatic work with and here's the reason.
[25:43] SPEAKER_07: So there's this thing I've been like looking forward to, like from the beginning of the year.
[25:47] SPEAKER_07: You know, it was I I believed it was supposed to come my way, and uh I I even did some work towards it and you know accomplished like about 60%, but then it stayed hanging.
[25:57] SPEAKER_07: So I feel like this year I've had so many things to be thankful for, and so many moments to enjoy with friends or even personally, but I feel like I've not lived within those moments as they were happening because my mind was always stuck to the fact that this thing is this thing is not coming.
[26:17] SPEAKER_07: This thing is not coming.
[26:18] SPEAKER_07: I don't know if you guys remember sometime back on the pod, I told you that there's something I'm waiting for this year.
[26:22] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, once it comes in, you will all know.
[26:24] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, so like I've been waiting for that thing, and for some reason it has not happened.
[26:28] SPEAKER_07: The year has now come into an end.
[26:30] SPEAKER_07: So that's why I feel like the year has been a bombocratic world with whatever that means.
[26:34] SPEAKER_02: I think though that while while you talked about the importance of uh before you don't have resolutions, and many people don't because you you know you go through the air and you're like, let's see what happens, right?
[26:45] SPEAKER_02: Let's just do our best.
[26:46] SPEAKER_02: It's a good thing, but I think there are people who specifically actually need New Year's resolutions.
[26:51] SPEAKER_09: I need to do that.
[26:51] SPEAKER_02: Because they they they they first of all they help you structure your life, right?
[26:55] SPEAKER_02: Because sometimes you can coast through life.
[26:58] SPEAKER_02: One day you're 31.
[27:00] SPEAKER_02: After two days, you're 40, and you're like, Well, 10 years gone.
[27:03] SPEAKER_02: What the hell?
[27:03] SPEAKER_02: So, what New Year's resolutions help you to do is have certain landmarks.
[27:08] SPEAKER_07: I'll explain that.
[27:09] SPEAKER_07: It takes 40 years to look less ugly.
[27:12] SPEAKER_02: So, what what resolutions do for some people is they give you purpose, first of all, right?
[27:19] SPEAKER_02: They give you direction and they they give you milestones to work towards.
[27:24] SPEAKER_02: And they don't have to be very big milestones, they can be small, small milestones that I need to get to a point in this year where I'm happy with the way I look.
[27:31] SPEAKER_02: That can be a small milestone because you've always struggled, you're like, man, I I'm ugly, what I'm tall, I'm short.
[27:37] SPEAKER_02: Then you're like, this year I want to try and get to a point where I like who I am, and that's your that's your resolution.
[27:42] SPEAKER_02: Or you say this year, I want to be better at handling money.
[27:44] SPEAKER_02: You haven't necessarily said that by this date, but you just say I want to be better at handling money.
[27:49] SPEAKER_02: So at the end of the year, when you look back, you're like, bye, this year, I've I've been a bit more disciplined.
[27:53] SPEAKER_02: And that for me is very is a very nice thing, right?
[27:55] SPEAKER_02: But you don't necessarily have to have resolutions that are humongous.
[27:59] SPEAKER_02: I want to create a cure for cancer, or I want to know.
[28:03] SPEAKER_02: You you have little, little manageable, they say they call them smart goals, right?
[28:09] SPEAKER_02: Where you can reach Fab and say, by the way, I think I'm a better person.
[28:12] SPEAKER_02: I'm I love God more, if that's what your resolution is.
[28:15] SPEAKER_02: Or I love my woman more, or I'm taking my partner out more, or I'm having better sex, whatever.
[28:21] SPEAKER_00: By the way, I just think when I say don't have new year resolutions, it doesn't mean that I don't have like go through the young thing and like I'm not saying that first of all.
[28:36] SPEAKER_00: First of all, that's hurry.
[28:40] SPEAKER_03: Yeah, new media social media too.
[28:44] SPEAKER_00: Actually, I know people that do that.
[28:46] SPEAKER_00: And they live by it.
[28:47] SPEAKER_00: What I'm saying, I'm not going through like just sailing.
[28:54] SPEAKER_00: Things that are like constant for me that I know I have to do well in school, right?
[28:59] SPEAKER_00: That's I know always I want to be like every single day.
[29:04] SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to be the best version of myself.
[29:07] SPEAKER_00: Like it's not about your ship sale.
[29:10] SPEAKER_02: The ship sale.
[29:12] SPEAKER_02: She's made a point.
[29:12] SPEAKER_02: She's she's made a point.
[29:13] SPEAKER_02: She's actually making it point.
[29:17] SPEAKER_00: There's that game we're supposed to.
[29:19] SPEAKER_04: Time time.
[29:20] SPEAKER_04: Time time, guys.
[29:21] SPEAKER_04: We're ready.
[29:33] SPEAKER_08: Where this came from.
[29:35] SPEAKER_08: And I didn't say new resolutions.
[29:36] SPEAKER_08: I said I have achieved the things I set out to do.
[29:39] SPEAKER_08: To achieve you're the one who brought out new resolutions.
[29:42] SPEAKER_08: Okay, it's fine.
[29:44] SPEAKER_00: From my head.
[29:45] SPEAKER_00: So now listen to me.
[29:47] SPEAKER_08: Um do I look like I have a beard today?
[29:49] SPEAKER_08: Because I feel like that you are misdirecting a lot of energy.
[29:53] SPEAKER_06: My beard coming, you're beef.
[29:56] SPEAKER_02: You're making me guys.
[29:58] SPEAKER_02: Let's make love.
[30:00] SPEAKER_08: December we share.
[30:01] SPEAKER_08: December we share.
[30:02] SPEAKER_08: Sharing is scary.
[30:03] SPEAKER_08: So I have I have a I have a free I have uh two, three other friends of mine, yeah, and every year we have like a Luchiko.
[30:11] SPEAKER_08: We sit down and say, guys, what did you say you set out to achieve this year?
[30:15] SPEAKER_08: Each of us demands just three things.
[30:18] SPEAKER_08: You're just supposed to tell us three things that we are supposed to haunt you about the entire year.
[30:23] SPEAKER_08: So New Year's really.
[30:26] SPEAKER_08: I said in December, not January.
[30:29] SPEAKER_08: So in the beginning of the year, I told them uh I want to do something serious about my Nairobi trips as opposed to just going to Galavan.
[30:36] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[30:36] SPEAKER_08: I want to turn it into a billboard project, which I have.
[30:38] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[30:39] SPEAKER_08: I brought up an advertising school this side.
[30:41] SPEAKER_08: Then I also told them my religion was a bit shaky a lot.
[30:45] SPEAKER_08: So going through the beginning of the air, I just knew Faiso, download an app, make sure you are consistent with this stuff.
[30:53] SPEAKER_08: I've dropped my my frequency in terms of reading the Quran, but I know I have to do better because exactly.
[31:02] SPEAKER_08: Then I also told them I would add another professional course into my because my five-year plan is to at least own my own marketing agency.
[31:11] SPEAKER_08: I'm not going to just wake up one day and have an agency.
[31:14] SPEAKER_08: I have three courses I have to do.
[31:16] SPEAKER_08: I'm done with the first one this year.
[31:17] SPEAKER_08: Congratulations.
[31:20] SPEAKER_08: So that's so that's why even if I don't get the car, yeah, even if you don't, you've achieved most.
[31:25] SPEAKER_08: At least I have maintained that rapport of man, wake up, you have this to do, you have that to do.
[31:31] SPEAKER_02: And I saw I saw I saw something that you did.
[31:34] SPEAKER_02: Many people might not really have seen.
[31:35] SPEAKER_02: There's something you did online.
[31:37] SPEAKER_02: Um, some AI related thing about billboards.
[31:40] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
[31:41] SPEAKER_02: What was that?
[31:41] SPEAKER_02: What was that?
[31:42] SPEAKER_08: Oh, so this entire year, usually I look up these billboard stories and all, and it takes me a while, I like an hour or two.
[31:51] SPEAKER_08: And I realized it's only me who shares industry insights to do with billboards.
[31:55] SPEAKER_08: Like no one does because it's cumbersome.
[31:57] SPEAKER_08: Africa, the news is not there.
[31:58] SPEAKER_08: You always have to go to like websites abroad and all that.
[32:02] SPEAKER_08: So today I said, you know, this entire year, this thing has stressed me.
[32:05] SPEAKER_08: I wake up, I spent two hours looking for billboards to post.
[32:08] SPEAKER_08: Why don't I build an AI agent that does everything for me?
[32:12] SPEAKER_08: And I just have to wake up, press play, it tells me everything that happened in the billboard industry throughout the entire world.
[32:18] SPEAKER_02: That was pretty dope.
[32:19] SPEAKER_08: Then I spend it up, so I've shared it to everyone so that you don't have to sit there and be like, Oh, we had the spice or get these billboards.
[32:26] SPEAKER_08: I want the entire industry to move.
[32:28] SPEAKER_02: That was dope.
[32:29] SPEAKER_02: I needed you to mention it, but that was good.
[32:32] SPEAKER_02: Well done.
[32:32] SPEAKER_08: We were near resolution.
[32:34] SPEAKER_07: So to get them to game, there are some people that are always looking forward to this game.
[32:38] SPEAKER_07: Fine, fine, fine.
[32:40] SPEAKER_08: So today's game, you guys have become too serious.
[32:42] SPEAKER_08: So today's game, every word starts with P.
[32:45] SPEAKER_08: Every answer starts with P.
[32:47] SPEAKER_08: Yeah with B, with P P letter P.
[32:49] SPEAKER_08: Like P for pussy.
[32:50] SPEAKER_07: Yes, it's so predictable as it's supposed to be.
[32:54] SPEAKER_08: So the first question is uh, what do you call a person who asks for a lift when you're already late?
[33:02] SPEAKER_02: Person a person who asks for a lift when you're ready late.
[33:06] SPEAKER_05: When you're already late, peasant, is that a pizza that's a pizant is the proper side that's a peasant?
[33:15] SPEAKER_02: No, I'm sure they all begin with P.
[33:19] SPEAKER_02: Because what is this?
[33:22] SPEAKER_02: I think it's only a pedestrian, it's a peasant.
[33:24] SPEAKER_07: You tell me what the pedestrian is, right?
[33:26] SPEAKER_04: Uh, the canal.
[33:28] SPEAKER_04: What is that?
[33:29] SPEAKER_00: And I want to abuse it today, but now I'm not fighting with you.
[33:34] SPEAKER_08: It's a peasant, it's not a peasant, sorry.
[33:37] SPEAKER_08: Look at this.
[33:39] SPEAKER_08: Give me the answer.
[33:40] SPEAKER_08: What's the answer?
[33:41] SPEAKER_00: But also that's oh no, I understand the person.
[33:50] SPEAKER_07: Okay, any answer is correct.
[33:52] SPEAKER_07: What do you mean any answer is correct?
[33:53] SPEAKER_06: As long as it starts with you.
[33:54] SPEAKER_07: So peasant is correct.
[33:56] SPEAKER_07: It's okay.
[33:57] SPEAKER_07: It's correct.
[33:58] SPEAKER_07: Okay.
[33:58] SPEAKER_08: Okay, what do you call the thing you write with in school?
[34:01] SPEAKER_08: Pen.
[34:01] SPEAKER_08: What about pencil?
[34:02] SPEAKER_08: It's also okay.
[34:03] SPEAKER_08: It's okay.
[34:03] SPEAKER_02: You see what I mean?
[34:04] SPEAKER_02: Okay, it's also okay.
[34:06] SPEAKER_08: As long as a if this next question does not make sense, what food do people fry?
[34:10] SPEAKER_08: Uh-uh.
[34:11] SPEAKER_08: No, easy.
[34:12] SPEAKER_08: What's the big bird that can't fly but runs fast?
[34:14] SPEAKER_08: Peacock.
[34:16] SPEAKER_00: No.
[34:17] SPEAKER_08: Big bird that can't fly.
[34:19] SPEAKER_08: Peacock does not work slowly.
[34:23] SPEAKER_05: That does not work fast.
[34:24] SPEAKER_05: Big bird that a peacock is majestic.
[34:41] SPEAKER_00: The peacock is the I want the peacock.
[34:44] SPEAKER_00: I want to give it the bad.
[34:46] SPEAKER_00: Okay, it's very fastest, the fastest bad ostrich.
[34:49] SPEAKER_00: You're talking about the ostrich.
[34:51] SPEAKER_00: Look at an ostrich has like what what is it?
[35:02] SPEAKER_00: What's the answer then?
[35:06] SPEAKER_08: No, it's not a pick up.
[35:08] unknown: Go on.
[35:09] SPEAKER_08: Oh my god, you legit.
[35:10] SPEAKER_08: But it's cool.
[35:11] SPEAKER_08: Ask another one.
[35:12] SPEAKER_08: Ask another one.
[35:12] SPEAKER_08: Let me change.
[35:13] SPEAKER_08: Let me change just for two questions.
[35:15] SPEAKER_08: You proceed and look for better questions.
[35:17] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[35:18] SPEAKER_08: Don't worry.
[35:18] SPEAKER_08: Don't worry.
[35:19] SPEAKER_08: I've written them here.
[35:20] SPEAKER_08: Don't worry.
[35:20] SPEAKER_08: But with the answers, yes, these are the answers.
[35:23] SPEAKER_08: These are the answers.
[35:24] SPEAKER_08: Don't ask them.
[35:26] SPEAKER_08: So every answer starts with H.
[35:28] SPEAKER_08: H.
[35:29] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[35:29] SPEAKER_08: What is the longest side of a triangle?
[35:32] SPEAKER_08: Hypotenuse.
[35:33] SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, what?
[35:34] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[35:35] SPEAKER_00: Hypotenuse.
[35:36] SPEAKER_08: Go continue.
[35:37] SPEAKER_08: Next.
[35:37] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[35:37] SPEAKER_08: Okay, I'm going to go to the second question.
[35:40] SPEAKER_08: Uh wait, wait.
[35:45] SPEAKER_07: Michelle, don't look in the phone, my friend.
[35:48] SPEAKER_08: Uh simulator.

[36:14] SPEAKER_08: Which island is volcanic?
[36:20] SPEAKER_02: Himalayan.
[36:21] SPEAKER_02: An island that's volcanic.

[36:24] SPEAKER_08: Yes.
[36:25] SPEAKER_08: See?
[36:26] SPEAKER_02: There was even like a whole sometime right answer.
[36:31] SPEAKER_08: Name a famous blind woman.
[36:34] SPEAKER_02: Give me the famous blind woman.
[36:40] SPEAKER_06: Halima.
[36:45] SPEAKER_00: Just not accept like me.
[36:46] SPEAKER_00: How?
[36:46] SPEAKER_07: I'm on the winning team, I think.
[36:48] SPEAKER_00: Halima?
[36:49] SPEAKER_08: What's the answer there?
[36:52] SPEAKER_08: It's uh Harry Harry Keller.
[36:59] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[36:59] SPEAKER_08: Helen Keller.
[37:00] SPEAKER_08: Helen Keller.
[37:01] SPEAKER_08: Helen Keller.
[37:01] SPEAKER_08: Oh, Helen Keller.
[37:02] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[37:03] SPEAKER_08: Let me just give you guys the last question.
[37:05] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[37:06] SPEAKER_08: What is it called when your body is dangerously cold?
[37:09] SPEAKER_08: Hypothermia.
[37:12] SPEAKER_08: That's what I'm talking about.
[37:16] SPEAKER_08: Okay.
[37:17] SPEAKER_08: What is the name of a famous telescope?
[37:22] SPEAKER_02: Famous telescope.
[37:24] SPEAKER_08: That one only me.
[37:27] SPEAKER_08: I think I'm only one share.
[37:34] SPEAKER_07: Michelle.
[37:35] SPEAKER_08: Who answered your name?
[37:37] SPEAKER_08: It's the Hubble.
[37:38] SPEAKER_08: It's called the Hubble telescope.
[37:44] SPEAKER_07: Don't do it.
[37:45] SPEAKER_07: Guys, I have just one question to ask.
[37:48] SPEAKER_07: The answer starts with P.
[37:49] SPEAKER_07: You know, uh, men like to use it, women like to use it.
[37:53] SPEAKER_07: It has an open hole.
[37:55] SPEAKER_07: Sometimes you can even put you know something inside there and it makes sounds like or sometimes just with P.
[38:07] SPEAKER_07: Just with P.
[38:08] SPEAKER_07: But we like to use it.
[38:11] SPEAKER_07: Does the potato have the hole?
[38:12] SPEAKER_07: When you're mashing, does it have the potato?
[38:14] SPEAKER_06: I said it was a hole.
[38:15] SPEAKER_06: The pot.
[38:16] SPEAKER_06: My friend.
[38:16] SPEAKER_06: Pot.
[38:17] SPEAKER_06: That's guy.
[38:20] SPEAKER_06: I've another common with the Michelle was thinking something else.
[38:24] SPEAKER_06: If you were thinking what Michelle was thinking, hello.
[38:28] SPEAKER_08: Hello.
[38:28] SPEAKER_08: So guys, getting into our stories.
[38:31] SPEAKER_08: I'll start with this one.
[38:33] SPEAKER_08: But B will you're from Soroti, right?
[38:35] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[38:35] SPEAKER_02: Well, Soroti, I used to be from Sororti.
[38:37] SPEAKER_02: I'm no longer from Soroti.
[38:38] SPEAKER_08: Where are you from now?
[38:39] SPEAKER_08: You can change where you come from.
[38:40] SPEAKER_02: I'm not from Sorere because Sorere was carved out of Soroti.
[38:44] SPEAKER_02: It's now a district.
[38:46] unknown: Yes.
[38:49] SPEAKER_02: But I was born in Soroti.
[38:50] SPEAKER_02: Sororti district.
[38:51] SPEAKER_02: You what?
[38:52] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[38:53] SPEAKER_08: So you're from Soroti.
[38:54] SPEAKER_02: I am from Soroti, yes.
[38:55] SPEAKER_08: Great man.
[38:55] SPEAKER_08: I've always wanted to go to Soroti.
[38:57] SPEAKER_08: They keep telling me the lady's there.
[38:59] SPEAKER_08: Well, nice things they're in Soroti.
[39:01] SPEAKER_02: Do you have time?
[39:02] SPEAKER_02: I do.
[39:03] SPEAKER_02: The women, one.
[39:04] SPEAKER_02: Okay.
[39:05] SPEAKER_02: They're very friendly.
[39:07] SPEAKER_02: Two, there is a John.
[39:08] SPEAKER_08: What's that?
[39:09] SPEAKER_07: What?
[39:09] SPEAKER_07: It's like your step of course.
[39:11] SPEAKER_07: Oh that one?
[39:13] SPEAKER_07: Oh their step or drink.
[39:14] SPEAKER_02: Three, they the way they prepare the pork is beautiful.
[39:18] SPEAKER_07: You mean sorry has like the best pork?
[39:20] SPEAKER_02: Well, dumb pork.
[39:22] SPEAKER_06: Better than Kamaganame pork.
[39:24] SPEAKER_02: You've eaten Kamaganame pork.
[39:25] SPEAKER_02: I have eaten it.
[39:26] SPEAKER_02: And you think so?
[39:27] SPEAKER_02: I have eaten now.
[39:27] SPEAKER_02: Now for me, the advantage I have is I've eaten that one and I've eaten this one.
[39:31] SPEAKER_07: For you have an eating.
[39:31] SPEAKER_07: Okay, the disadvantage I have is that for I've eaten this one, I've not eaten it.
[39:34] SPEAKER_07: Yes.
[39:34] SPEAKER_07: So you've got eat it.
[39:37] SPEAKER_08: So anyway, leading to my story, HIV rates surge in Soroti as school girls sell sex for 1,000 shillings.
[39:43] SPEAKER_08: Secondary school girls in Sororti City, Eastern Uganda are reportedly engaging in commercial sex for as little as 1,000 to 2,000.
[39:51] SPEAKER_08: Taking up the district to a number two to three ranking just below Mbarra and Fort Potro.
[39:59] SPEAKER_07: As for my hometown, Mbra, things are not crazy, bro.
[40:03] SPEAKER_08: So apparently the the the district, uh those guys who had the district has identified at least 120 hotspots linked to commercial sex in the city, including locations where schoolgirls are allegedly selling sex for 2K.
[40:20] SPEAKER_08: So it is you know what you're saying about the economy this season.
[40:26] SPEAKER_08: This is it.
[40:46] SPEAKER_00: They removed it.
[40:47] SPEAKER_00: Now, I want us to like make a what should I call it, like a comparison, a link to we don't have sex aid in Uganda.
[40:57] SPEAKER_00: Um, I think about a week ago we got a judgment where a Supreme Court judgment where abortion has been like we've people have tried to appeal to that.
[41:08] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[41:09] SPEAKER_00: And then we also have children, because I just I don't want them, I don't want people to like just label them as schoolgirls.
[41:17] SPEAKER_00: I want us to understand that these are children.
[41:19] SPEAKER_00: We have children that are having sex for they should not be having sex for any amount of money for starters, but they are having sex for as low as 1,000 shillings without sex education, where they don't even know there are options that okay, yeah, let's we have nothing to do about the fact that you're going to have sex anyway, but if you're going to have sex, these are the options that you have.
[41:47] SPEAKER_00: We have protection, there is like family planning and all that.
[41:51] SPEAKER_00: And then you also have abortion that is illegal in Uganda.
[41:57] SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, girls are girls are going to find a way to have that abortion.
[42:02] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter if they are going to use a hanger, a stick, or a fork, they will pull that child out.
[42:08] SPEAKER_00: Like, do you see the connection?
[42:10] SPEAKER_00: I mean, our lawmakers have refused to see that connection or even make it, but like it is it's there, like it's so clear.
[42:19] SPEAKER_07: But I think I think when it gets to our lawmaking journeys in uh our you know beautiful country here, I think it goes back to the numbers that we have in parliament.
[42:27] SPEAKER_07: And I keep telling people the more people you have uh, you know, during a certain meeting or get together, the harder the decision becomes to pass.
[42:35] SPEAKER_07: You have over 520 members of parliament, and each of them is supposed to give, you know, their stance on something like this, something that you see needs, you know, everyone to actually support and jump on.
[42:45] SPEAKER_07: But because we have so many numbers, we have to consult everyone, we end up not passing some of those important things.
[42:50] SPEAKER_00: So, you see, for me, uh the where the problem is, is okay, let's agree that our parliamentarians by nature zebu bongbo, right?
[43:00] SPEAKER_00: But courts are supposed to be there to help us that okay, our parliamentarians didn't get it, but you as people that are more learned, more understanding, hopefully more exposed and all that, need to correct this, right?
[43:16] SPEAKER_00: Because if the Supreme Court said, no, guys, what you said is wrong, we need to correct it, they won't have a choice but to correct it.
[43:25] SPEAKER_00: But if they are also saying, Ah, God will punish Africa.
[43:29] SPEAKER_08: I listened to a podcast, and uh this guy was talking about why Africa seems to be staying behind as opposed to the entire rest of the world.
[43:38] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so he's like, guys, look at other lawmakers because Africa is not the only continent with lawmakers and parliaments.
[43:45] SPEAKER_08: Look at other countries, look at their lawmakers, look at their age range.
[43:49] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, in these countries, you can imagine the mini the median age across the entire country, let's say US, the UK, is about like it's In above 25.
[44:02] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[44:02] SPEAKER_08: But in their parliament, the medium age is 35, 35 to 40.
[44:07] SPEAKER_08: That's it.
[44:08] SPEAKER_08: Not above.
[44:09] SPEAKER_08: You're not going to find lawmakers who are 50, 60 years old.
[44:12] SPEAKER_08: Now, this makes it progressive for these people to pass these laws because they've grown up in a society that's different.
[44:18] SPEAKER_08: They've grown up in a society that knows abortion can save a life.
[44:21] SPEAKER_08: Vascular life.
[44:23] SPEAKER_08: They are not afraid to have such conversations.
[44:26] SPEAKER_08: However, now in Africa, the median age of the entire most of these countries is 19.
[44:33] SPEAKER_08: 18, 19, 20, 21.
[44:35] SPEAKER_08: But the median age of most of our lawmakers or parliaments in Uganda is uh 47 years.
[44:41] SPEAKER_08: 47.
[44:41] SPEAKER_08: The median, like the median age of our parliament is 47.
[44:45] SPEAKER_08: Yet 80% of the population of this country is 18 to 27 years.
[44:49] SPEAKER_07: So basically they are detached from reality.
[44:51] SPEAKER_07: Exactly.
[44:53] SPEAKER_08: So he says, guys, until you get those lawmakers, put them out, put people who can see your views.
[45:00] SPEAKER_08: It will never we will keep singing, we will keep crying, but there's no way you're going to go to Miriam Atembe and tell her Miriam.
[45:06] SPEAKER_08: Amotion is okay.
[45:08] SPEAKER_08: This is something she has grown up in justices in her bones.
[45:12] SPEAKER_00: One of the justices is um is a what a leader in the church or something like that.
[45:17] SPEAKER_00: Imagine judgment, and she's like guys, let me ask you in simple forms.
[45:26] SPEAKER_07: You know, if your life depended on it and they said we are going to have sex with you, how much money would you want?
[45:34] SPEAKER_07: How much would you ask for?
[45:35] SPEAKER_07: What kind of that's why I said it's a very nothing serious question.
[45:38] SPEAKER_07: If my life depended on it, yes, and you are meant to have sex with person X, but they're going to pay you some money.
[45:46] SPEAKER_02: If I don't have the sex, they will kill me.
[45:48] SPEAKER_02: You die.
[45:48] SPEAKER_02: Give me the sex.
[45:49] SPEAKER_02: I don't understand.
[45:50] SPEAKER_07: What yes, but now they are saying they will pay you.
[45:53] SPEAKER_07: How much money would you ask for?
[45:54] SPEAKER_04: A lot of money.
[45:55] SPEAKER_04: Like I don't understand.
[45:56] SPEAKER_04: Maji, I am going to die.
[45:58] SPEAKER_05: I am going to die.
[45:59] SPEAKER_05: No money is worth just give me the sex and then go.
[46:03] SPEAKER_07: Because no money is worth it.
[46:04] SPEAKER_08: For you to get the sex, you must mention a price tag.
[46:08] SPEAKER_08: Uh no, I'm not going to price myself.
[46:10] SPEAKER_08: So$10 million.
[46:37] SPEAKER_04: Every week mission in a different country.
[46:48] SPEAKER_00: You don't have to answer the question.
[46:51] SPEAKER_00: I just refuse to answer the question.
[46:54] SPEAKER_05: You have taken a lower price before, but it's okay for you to play the fifth.
[46:59] SPEAKER_00: I plead the fifth.
[47:01] SPEAKER_00: No, I've not taken a lower price, I've not taken any price.
[47:04] SPEAKER_00: But I just plead the fifth.
[47:09] SPEAKER_00: Because you see, you can just mention a price.
[47:12] SPEAKER_00: Someone will get it out.
[47:15] SPEAKER_07: Uh huh.
[47:15] SPEAKER_07: And then it becomes a problem.
[47:19] SPEAKER_00: Right?
[47:20] SPEAKER_07: Okay.
[47:20] SPEAKER_00: So it's just a good idea.
[47:26] SPEAKER_08: Just know, eh?
[47:27] SPEAKER_07: Metaverse.
[47:28] SPEAKER_07: I'll tell you about the metaverse situation.
[47:30] SPEAKER_07: So it's a very hypothetical question, but now you've had a one-night stand with this guy, and uh, you can only walk away with two options: him getting you pregnant or contracting an SDI or HIB.
[47:42] SPEAKER_00: I would get pregnant and then remove it.
[47:46] unknown: Oh wow.
[47:46] SPEAKER_02: Problem solved.
[47:49] SPEAKER_02: One stone either you sell.
[47:51] SPEAKER_08: Because you are entering you are entering council cancel level one.
[47:55] SPEAKER_08: Because I mean my my my other story, I I notice time is going, and a lot of you guys, you know, when that is December, you know, Gender out while you could go on the where whenever I is taking us.
[48:05] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what the face of no girl being baby girl, and these things you made a mistake by mentioning these things, they close up, bro.
[48:12] SPEAKER_02: Maybe Nabiya video is happening.
[48:16] SPEAKER_08: You know what, you know what's funny?
[48:17] SPEAKER_08: I didn't know so many people know who let them enjoy.
[48:25] unknown: Let them enjoy.
[48:32] SPEAKER_08: Girl, then wanted a threesome with my mukazi.
[48:35] SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, what?
[48:36] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, man.
[48:36] SPEAKER_08: Some girl approached us.
[48:38] SPEAKER_08: Some girl approached us and was like, by the way, you too.
[48:41] SPEAKER_08: Wag one, like, why don't we not do it?
[48:44] SPEAKER_00: From across the room.
[48:45] SPEAKER_08: I tell why she was next to us, not even across.
[48:47] SPEAKER_08: But anyway, I want you guys to guess.
[48:54] SPEAKER_08: We were out there with the houses.
[48:56] SPEAKER_08: I even met the houses.
[48:57] SPEAKER_08: Aussi was a nigga.
[48:58] SPEAKER_08: No, the Australian babes we were with.
[49:00] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[49:03] SPEAKER_08: So I want you guys to tell me, just guess.
[49:05] SPEAKER_08: What do you think is the price of fuel, a liter of fuel in Libya?
[49:10] SPEAKER_02: In in Libya?
[49:12] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, in Libya.
[49:13] SPEAKER_08: In in in UGX.
[49:14] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, in UGX, okay.
[49:16] SPEAKER_02: It would probably be maybe like 1.8 or 2,000, maybe shilling.
[49:21] SPEAKER_07: I think it's about 4,000 given the situation happening.
[49:25] SPEAKER_07: One thing I know is that Nigeria has the cheapest fuel, I think in Africa.
[49:30] SPEAKER_02: What about you?
[49:31] SPEAKER_07: Okay.
[49:32] SPEAKER_02: I think it's yeah.
[49:33] SPEAKER_08: So a price of a little fuel in Libya is actually 500 Ugandan shillings.
[49:39] SPEAKER_08: Really?
[49:39] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[49:40] SPEAKER_08: Wow.
[49:40] SPEAKER_02: Wow.
[49:41] SPEAKER_08: So there's a company.
[49:43] SPEAKER_08: Nigeria is 2,000.
[49:44] SPEAKER_07: Oh, Nigeria, yeah, Nigeria.
[49:45] SPEAKER_08: Anti-Nigeria, because before they were having a lot of uh corruption.
[49:49] SPEAKER_08: Then there were private people who own the whales.
[49:51] SPEAKER_08: The whales don't actually belong to not all of them belong to the government.
[49:56] SPEAKER_08: So even if there's oil here, it belongs to Aenea.
[49:59] SPEAKER_08: You have to buy it from Aina.
[50:01] SPEAKER_08: Libya, however, that example.
[50:04] SPEAKER_05: No, of course.
[50:05] SPEAKER_05: I want us to be there with petrol station.
[50:08] SPEAKER_08: So Africa's petrol shock.
[50:11] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, exactly.
[50:11] SPEAKER_08: So in DR Congo, a liter is uh 3,700.
[50:16] SPEAKER_08: And then in uh Sudan also, Rwanda 4,900, Kenya, 4,000.
[50:22] SPEAKER_08: What I'm trying to tell you guys is Uganda is actually top three in Africa.
[50:27] SPEAKER_08: In Africa in terms of the cost of a liter of fuel.
[50:31] SPEAKER_08: We have some of the most expensive fuel prices.
[50:39] SPEAKER_08: I was ready to do that.
[50:40] SPEAKER_08: But yeah, so as we enter this December period, like guys, man, what's what's happening?
[50:46] SPEAKER_08: What's not happening?
[50:48] SPEAKER_08: I feel like fuel.
[50:51] SPEAKER_02: But you see, I feel I feel like the gem will be now that now that we we have oil.
[50:58] SPEAKER_02: Of course the big man said it is oil, but uh now that we have oil as a country, I feel like some of these things, in the fairly long term, perhaps the price will come down.
[51:10] SPEAKER_02: And I'm also hopeful because I know I know there are certain people, well-meaning people who have been working hard to make sure that we find a solution that fixes our problem, right?
[51:19] SPEAKER_02: Uh and some of the social, of course, they're working their work in progress and whatnot, but I know that in a few years our fuel prices are going to go down.
[51:27] SPEAKER_08: So actually, number two.
[51:28] SPEAKER_08: I think number two on the continent.
[51:30] SPEAKER_07: After the DVD world, I think in the future uh prices are definitely going to go down, not just for fuel, but also, you know, other oil-related uh byproducts.
[51:39] SPEAKER_07: And uh, this is because uh, you know, our infrastructure in as far as oil production is relatable has been you know not in existence, for example.
[51:48] SPEAKER_07: You know, we're just literally trying to construct a pipeline which we uh we have completed successfully.
[51:53] SPEAKER_07: And I think uh from the latest information coming in, 2026 is when we shall start, you know, pumping out oil from the ground.
[51:59] SPEAKER_07: We had issues with reservoirs as well, uh, within our places where we could store fuel that could be used for future use, that has been worked on as well.
[52:07] SPEAKER_07: Partnerships have been made.
[52:09] SPEAKER_07: So I want to be hopeful that uh the stakeholders are definitely working around the cloud.
[52:12] SPEAKER_00: So, can I ask a question?
[52:13] SPEAKER_00: Hold on Have you considered Uganda being Uganda that yeah, all these things are happening, but at some point we have to pay the price, and we by us paying the price.
[52:27] SPEAKER_00: You know how we're like so excited about um Southern Vipass, and like we're like, oh, this is like this is going to solve so many problems, and we're going to now be paying it paying for it for like a very long time period of time.
[52:43] SPEAKER_00: This might happen to us a few ways.
[52:45] SPEAKER_00: Like, let me share something before you come in.
[52:48] SPEAKER_08: Before you come in, let me share something.
[52:49] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so you've talked about how if we have oil in future we might actually be able to drop the price.
[52:54] SPEAKER_08: Now let me alert you that one the first things first, the first thing we are going to look at is the public debt.
[53:00] SPEAKER_08: Because as as of now, it is bigger than our GDP.
[53:03] SPEAKER_08: Our public debt is 51% billion dollars.
[53:08] SPEAKER_08: And money from the oil revenue, the projections say we will be only getting about 1.5 to 2 billion shillings per year.
[53:16] SPEAKER_08: Of which, if the shilling drops, even those revenues drop.
[53:20] SPEAKER_08: So even with even with the oil, yeah, it's it's going lower because the barrel prices are dropping, and also we don't have a very huge stock of oil.
[53:30] SPEAKER_08: Forget this, that we're not going to be like Nigeria or UAE, we're going to have oil forever.
[53:35] SPEAKER_08: No, our oil actually has a time span.
[53:37] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[53:38] SPEAKER_08: And then, so what I wanted to say is even if they got this oil money and they only use it to pay a public debt, it would still take them up for 50 years.
[53:48] SPEAKER_08: But within those 50 years, we will not have those oil deposits anymore.
[53:52] SPEAKER_08: Which is why I'm saying you might think fuel is good, prices are going to go down, but our government actually has way other different plans.
[53:59] SPEAKER_07: I think there are lots of things that uh government needs to implement if we are to definitely benefit from this oil that we're looking forward to.
[54:06] SPEAKER_07: Uh, you talk about you know uh the public debt.
[54:08] SPEAKER_07: I think we need to look into reforms that are going to start resisting the government from just borrowing money and they don't use it because we are just people, you know.
[54:16] SPEAKER_07: The government and they don't use it, it just goes to West.
[54:20] SPEAKER_07: And the person who has borrowed you the money is still counting on the profits to be paid at the end of the day.
[54:24] SPEAKER_07: So I feel like that's something we need to do.
[54:27] SPEAKER_07: What do you want to this chip?
[54:34] SPEAKER_02: Film.
[54:40] SPEAKER_02: So the phone has to fall inside.
[54:41] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's okay.
[54:42] SPEAKER_02: So you know what?
[54:43] SPEAKER_02: I I think I think for me, some some something point something something that I wanted to sort of hint on is um I know that out oil oil, first of all, is a curse.
[54:55] SPEAKER_02: Every country, especially in Africa, that has oil invites problems.
[55:00] SPEAKER_02: That's what that one is not questioning.
[55:02] SPEAKER_08: Actually, our tourism is going to dip.
[55:05] SPEAKER_02: That may not necessarily be it.
[55:06] SPEAKER_02: That may not necessarily be it.
[55:07] SPEAKER_02: What I know for a fact is the West is going to be very interested in us.
[55:11] SPEAKER_02: Very, very interested, extremely interested.
[55:13] SPEAKER_02: So much that you know how oil is um oil is like like you know, when somebody is moving and they're wearing a brightly colored cloth, everybody turns, even if you're not interested, you turn and look.
[55:25] SPEAKER_02: That's what oil is.
[55:26] SPEAKER_02: And because and because we need because we as Ugandans, we are notorious, we are notorious for first of all stealing from ourselves first.
[55:38] SPEAKER_02: Before even a people come and steal from us, we first steal from ourselves.
[55:42] SPEAKER_02: That's the first thing.
[55:43] SPEAKER_02: And and also because when we are stealing from ourselves, the people who are stealing for them in their small circle, they're happy, they're comfortable, they're okay, their kids are flying to France, whatever they're having a good time, the rest of you are suffering.
[55:53] SPEAKER_02: For them, they will have no problem.
[55:54] SPEAKER_02: And they'll have this when you're saying that we need people to push back in terms of borrowing, yeah?
[55:58] SPEAKER_02: We need people to push back in terms of borrowing, yeah.
[56:01] SPEAKER_02: Those people who we say need to push back in terms of borrowing, yeah, they will be the ones tomorrow signing fresh deals.
[56:07] SPEAKER_02: And you'll be hearing, by the way, Uganda has borrowed more money to do this.
[56:10] SPEAKER_02: Uganda's borrowed, you're like, why are we borrowing money?
[56:13] SPEAKER_02: For them, for them, they know that if Uganda borrows this much money from the IMF, may I have my cut?
[56:19] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely.
[56:21] SPEAKER_02: So the borrowing is not stopping.
[56:22] SPEAKER_07: But you see, that goes back to what I've been talking about.
[56:24] SPEAKER_07: We need to have some of these reforms that are going to stop these people from doing it.
[56:27] SPEAKER_02: But those reforms are not happening because they will stop those people from Gambia.
[56:32] SPEAKER_07: We have to remove those that are there and put people that understand.
[56:36] SPEAKER_02: Now we are getting something.
[56:38] SPEAKER_02: We're getting somewhere.
[56:39] SPEAKER_02: Now we are getting somewhere.
[56:40] SPEAKER_08: So now, uh, because time is growing, I didn't want us to miss a nothing serious topic, which is that it's how many minutes have we in so far right now?
[56:47] SPEAKER_08: Exactly.
[56:48] SPEAKER_08: But we you have to choose whether we do Banner Boy's controversy.
[56:52] SPEAKER_08: No, let's not do 30 December.
[56:56] SPEAKER_08: But you guys know what happened.
[56:57] SPEAKER_00: What happened with Banner Boy?
[57:01] SPEAKER_07: A series of things from the time uh he was performing.
[57:04] SPEAKER_02: He said some horrible things, he was cancelled, so he went on stage and apologized.
[57:07] SPEAKER_02: Period.
[57:08] SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but that's that's the same thing with the thing.
[57:10] SPEAKER_08: You remember, you remember?
[57:12] SPEAKER_07: You remember you remember this while he was performing.
[57:15] SPEAKER_08: He said he did the same thing this guy did, the the artist you guys defended at the beginning of the yeah, yeah, the South African.
[57:21] SPEAKER_08: Because he went on and said, first of all, I don't want broke supporters.
[57:25] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, online.
[57:26] SPEAKER_08: I mean like I don't want broke supporters, and I am like I'm not doing this for you guys.
[57:31] SPEAKER_08: You get so, and you know, I mean, in the beginning, maybe in Africa, we think cancel culture is a myth, but the problem is he was doing these things while doing his American tour, his US guys are very so.
[57:44] SPEAKER_08: After Denver, when he chased a couple out and he went on live and said all that nonsense, when he went to Texas, my G.
[57:51] SPEAKER_08: There was no one.
[57:55] SPEAKER_08: But if you use your own two eyes, there was no podzi, you know.
[57:58] SPEAKER_08: So where does it december?
[58:00] SPEAKER_08: And that reminds me about it worked, alien skin or chamula.
[58:05] SPEAKER_08: He was I love you guys.
[58:10] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, they cancelled him and his own people.
[58:12] SPEAKER_08: Now, getting into that in December, guys.
[58:14] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, first question.
[58:16] SPEAKER_08: First things first, has any of you ever had a December bay?
[58:20] SPEAKER_08: I think everybody has.
[58:21] SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
[58:23] SPEAKER_00: Like, is it like someone different designated to December?
[58:26] SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
[58:27] SPEAKER_02: So don't say everybody has December, but festive, like the festive season.
[58:31] SPEAKER_02: Festive season.
[58:32] SPEAKER_02: Even then, say I do.
[58:34] SPEAKER_02: I always have.
[58:35] SPEAKER_02: Okay, no, wait, you can come down.
[58:36] SPEAKER_02: Oh, you can say I and Pipe.
[58:38] SPEAKER_02: Let me use my own.
[58:40] SPEAKER_00: Paper, you have a December babe.
[58:42] SPEAKER_02: The reason the reason why I say almost everybody has is because back then when you were in school, right?
[58:49] SPEAKER_02: When you've left school and you're going for holidays, you're going for the December holiday.
[58:53] SPEAKER_02: There's a girl you've been possibly eyeing either in the neighborhood or from some of the schools.
[58:58] SPEAKER_02: Now, when she comes for holiday, she's your girlfriend.
[59:01] SPEAKER_02: But the day you are going back to school, the relationship ends.
[59:04] SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
[59:05] SPEAKER_02: Really?
[59:05] SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
[59:06] SPEAKER_02: Whether you like it or you don't, because there's a fresh guy next holiday.
[59:09] SPEAKER_02: You've got all the time.
[59:11] SPEAKER_02: Everybody has had a December.
[59:20] SPEAKER_04: So you wait.
[59:23] SPEAKER_08: Let me get this straight.
[59:24] SPEAKER_08: You have never sat down and talked to a girl and told her, you know what?
[59:28] SPEAKER_08: This whole year we have just been talking, but this December, can we just act like we are in a relationship?
[59:35] SPEAKER_08: But the moment January first kicks starts like this, we are done.
[59:40] SPEAKER_08: So I also have none of you have ever done anything like that.
[59:43] SPEAKER_00: Philips, really, really fast.
[59:45] SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
[59:46] SPEAKER_00: You killed the Phillips.
[59:48] SPEAKER_00: So you've never and like dinners cuddles, what?
[59:52] SPEAKER_00: And like on the first of December.
[59:54] SPEAKER_00: Like, what do you mean?
[59:56] SPEAKER_08: What's guys?
[59:56] SPEAKER_08: What's your what's your view about that it's what do you mean that December means?
[59:59] SPEAKER_08: What do you think that it decembers?
[1:00:00] SPEAKER_08: Enjoyment, enjoyment.
[1:00:02] SPEAKER_08: But you do that every month.
[1:00:03] SPEAKER_07: No, December is special.
[1:00:04] SPEAKER_07: December is December is special.
[1:00:06] SPEAKER_02: December is special.
[1:00:07] SPEAKER_07: December is special.
[1:00:07] SPEAKER_02: December because you enjoy knowing tomorrow, there's no work.
[1:00:10] SPEAKER_02: That's one.
[1:00:11] SPEAKER_02: And then secondly, December for certain certain people.
[1:00:13] SPEAKER_08: But there are more unemployed people in Uganda than employed people.
[1:00:16] SPEAKER_02: Yes, but but for very many poor, they December is a time when you're with family, right?
[1:00:22] SPEAKER_02: You're with your your relatives who have come from abroad, which is schools have come, kids have come from school.
[1:00:27] SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of confound going on.
[1:00:29] SPEAKER_02: So the way you're handling your relationship, not the way you handle it in the past.
[1:00:32] SPEAKER_02: In the past, you're kawa here.
[1:00:34] SPEAKER_02: Now they are relatives, they are what you hide.
[1:00:36] SPEAKER_02: December is a very different month.
[1:00:38] SPEAKER_02: December, very many concerts.
[1:00:40] SPEAKER_02: Everybody wants to throw a party.
[1:00:41] SPEAKER_02: Everybody, man.
[1:00:42] SPEAKER_07: And December, just the month of December, you receive more Oliwa messages than you have received the entire year.
[1:00:50] SPEAKER_02: Yes, combined.
[1:00:51] SPEAKER_07: Do you know how hard it is to say or to even leave the Oliwa message on a blue tick in December?
[1:00:57] SPEAKER_07: It's very hard.
[1:00:58] SPEAKER_07: Be it on a Monday.
[1:00:59] SPEAKER_07: But don't you think we we like blow it out, we force people into poverty in December.
[1:01:04] SPEAKER_08: Like we put people on so much pressure.
[1:01:07] SPEAKER_02: It's what we are, it's consumer reason.
[1:01:09] SPEAKER_07: It's the people who put themselves on pressure because of the month itself.
[1:01:13] SPEAKER_07: But whether it's a month that has a name on its own, dirty December.
[1:01:16] SPEAKER_07: You've never had suffering January.
[1:01:17] SPEAKER_07: No, we all know January is crazy.
[1:01:19] SPEAKER_07: But January is January.
[1:01:20] SPEAKER_07: Fab the same shit all the way up to November, the same event to which you come.
[1:01:24] SPEAKER_07: So pressure, it just grabs you alone.
[1:01:26] SPEAKER_02: And even if even if even if you're not alone, why is it?
[1:01:29] SPEAKER_02: They're friends of yours who are outside there, right?
[1:01:32] SPEAKER_02: The only time they'll come back to Uganda for holiday is December.
[1:01:35] SPEAKER_02: And you know, I'm not going to see this guy until December 2026.
[1:01:39] SPEAKER_02: So this is my opportunity.
[1:01:40] SPEAKER_02: This little window I have with you, man.
[1:01:43] SPEAKER_07: And also they use it to their advantage.
[1:01:45] SPEAKER_07: They hit you up with, man, I've not seen you the whole year.
[1:01:48] SPEAKER_07: And I'm not waiting for you again for the next year.
[1:01:50] SPEAKER_07: Man, let's kick it.
[1:01:51] SPEAKER_07: You're also like, man, you know what?
[1:01:52] SPEAKER_07: I'm not even buying the drinks.
[1:01:54] SPEAKER_07: Yeah, sorry.
[1:01:54] SPEAKER_07: Let me just show you.
[1:01:55] SPEAKER_08: Never long distance relationships, Katizonazi gina ku reconnecting.
[1:01:58] SPEAKER_08: Immediately.
[1:02:01] SPEAKER_08: Real quick.
[1:02:02] SPEAKER_08: But me um, man, I still don't believe.
[1:02:04] SPEAKER_08: I don't believe in long distance relationships.
[1:02:06] SPEAKER_08: I don't feel like global.
[1:02:08] SPEAKER_07: You don't have nothing.
[1:02:09] SPEAKER_07: Have you been single in December?
[1:02:10] SPEAKER_07: Like, does December ever find you single?
[1:02:12] SPEAKER_07: Does that ever happen?
[1:02:16] SPEAKER_00: I'm always single.
[1:02:17] SPEAKER_00: What the fuck is wrong with you?
[1:02:20] SPEAKER_00: Like, what do you mean?
[1:02:22] SPEAKER_05: I'm always like it's true.
[1:02:29] SPEAKER_00: Like, what do you mean?
[1:02:35] SPEAKER_00: Let's be very clear.
[1:02:37] SPEAKER_00: On the pod, I said we were assuming I have a boyfriend.
[1:02:42] SPEAKER_00: Wasn't I clear?
[1:02:43] SPEAKER_00: Assumption.
[1:02:48] SPEAKER_00: By the way, don't believe this.
[1:02:51] SPEAKER_02: You are happy.
[1:02:52] SPEAKER_00: But it's also it's also good for but when we were starting this pod, there was clear.
[1:02:56] SPEAKER_00: I am in a relationship, yeah.
[1:02:57] SPEAKER_00: With God.
[1:02:58] SPEAKER_02: With God.
[1:02:59] SPEAKER_02: Me, the advice I have for for guys in this December, especially single guys, right?
[1:03:04] SPEAKER_02: This is an opportunity for you to make good money.
[1:03:06] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[1:03:07] SPEAKER_02: There are people, listen to me.
[1:03:08] SPEAKER_02: There are people, you first keep quiet.
[1:03:11] SPEAKER_02: There are people, there are people who promised their their parents that they have partners.
[1:03:16] SPEAKER_02: In a muletamu December.
[1:03:18] SPEAKER_02: Your role is to be that partner for December.
[1:03:20] SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
[1:03:20] SPEAKER_02: If she's going for the Christmas lunch, Mungamba, it's okay.
[1:03:24] SPEAKER_02: Every hour, 250,000.
[1:03:26] SPEAKER_08: Uh-uh, that's too much.
[1:03:27] SPEAKER_02: For for an extra 50k, I can give you a hug.
[1:03:29] SPEAKER_02: For an extra 100, I can give you a kiss in front of your mom.
[1:03:31] SPEAKER_06: That's how you beat somebody in Kampola.
[1:03:33] SPEAKER_02: There are women who need to prove to their parents that they have partners.

[1:07:10] SPEAKER_02: Don't tell them.
[1:07:11] SPEAKER_04: So when she says she's allergic, then what?
[1:07:13] SPEAKER_04: You figure it out between.
[1:07:15] SPEAKER_05: These are the situations happening.
[1:07:17] SPEAKER_05: Let me tell you this way.
[1:07:18] SPEAKER_07: Let me tell you, there are some red flags we ignore because we are always but a woman who tells you that she's allergic to condoms, as much as much as it could be possible.

[1:07:36] SPEAKER_07: I agree with you.
[1:07:37] SPEAKER_07: So if I tell you, you know, if she tells you I'm allergic to condoms, like you're going to be skeptical.
[1:07:43] SPEAKER_07: No, there are people that's like a chick who says, Me, when you start using economy I become dry.
[1:07:47] SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there are people, there are people who actually biologically sex education.
[1:07:56] SPEAKER_06: That's what people want as an individual.
[1:08:00] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
[1:08:00] SPEAKER_06: And that's okay.
[1:08:02] SPEAKER_06: And that's okay.
[1:08:03] SPEAKER_00: Hear me out in him.
[1:08:04] SPEAKER_00: And I will keep saying this sexual feeder co like you don't have to do it.
[1:08:11] SPEAKER_08: So yeah, no, but feel yeah, but speak for yourself.
[1:08:14] SPEAKER_00: Okay.
[1:08:15] SPEAKER_05: For example, she's like, okay, Joggela Yang.
[1:08:24] SPEAKER_00: According to me, right?
[1:08:26] SPEAKER_00: If a girl or a man tells you, oh me, I don't use condoms, or even if you feel like you are dying, I promise you you won't die.
[1:08:39] SPEAKER_00: No one, I've not heard about a man that has died from blue balls.
[1:08:43] SPEAKER_00: I have not had a girl that has died from corresponding sex.
[1:08:48] SPEAKER_00: Please pause.
[1:08:50] SPEAKER_00: There's so many ways, by the way, you can test now for STIs, STDs, and all those things.
[1:08:56] SPEAKER_00: Pause.
[1:08:57] SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, an orgasm coming.
[1:09:00] SPEAKER_00: Those are what?
[1:09:01] SPEAKER_00: Two minutes, three tops for like don't risk your life for those.
[1:09:08] SPEAKER_00: Okay.
[1:09:09] SPEAKER_08: So what if I risk my life?
[1:09:10] SPEAKER_08: But like what would I do?
[1:09:12] SPEAKER_08: No, like, but if something has happened, you know how December is, man.
[1:09:16] SPEAKER_08: I've gone out to buy like eggs to fry my eggs.
[1:09:19] SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
[1:09:19] SPEAKER_08: And then I get Oliwa, then I just continue to the bar.
[1:09:22] SPEAKER_08: The next thing I go to the bar, I meet a very nice girl.
[1:09:25] SPEAKER_08: We go to ginger.
[1:09:26] SPEAKER_08: We have just reached ginger.
[1:09:28] SPEAKER_08: All the all the pharmacies are closed.
[1:09:29] SPEAKER_08: When ginger, the pharmacies were closed in the morning.
[1:09:32] SPEAKER_08: And uh things happen.
[1:09:34] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, things have happened because you are high, you couldn't, you know, probably tell right and wrong.
[1:09:39] SPEAKER_08: What do you do in that moment?
[1:09:41] SPEAKER_07: As soon as you wake up, because mistakes are too human, maybe you've got caught up in emotion as you can.
[1:09:47] SPEAKER_07: First thing you do when you wake up, go and test.
[1:09:50] SPEAKER_07: Because now it's morning, pharmacies are open, cleaning.
[1:09:52] SPEAKER_00: You also have possibly.
[1:09:54] SPEAKER_07: Once you receive your kagai, if you they have advised you to start PEP, in gear that Kagai.
[1:10:00] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[1:10:00] SPEAKER_07: Start your PEP and move on.
[1:10:01] SPEAKER_07: Because it's advisable for you to do PEP within what 24 hours?
[1:10:04] SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
[1:10:04] SPEAKER_07: 72.
[1:10:06] SPEAKER_00: That's advisable.
[1:10:08] SPEAKER_00: The PEP 72 hours.
[1:10:10] SPEAKER_02: Exposure, prophylaxis.
[1:10:11] SPEAKER_02: And what happens is when you've had sex and you think you might have contracted uh HIV age or whatever, you take it.
[1:10:19] SPEAKER_02: What it does is it gives you, it uh it immediately starts to function.
[1:10:24] SPEAKER_02: It immediately sort of suppresses.
[1:10:25] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
[1:10:26] SPEAKER_02: And the thing, the thing also people need to understand is when you test, the the results of that test are not real-time results in the sense that you might have contracted that thing and it's not yet showing right.
[1:10:41] SPEAKER_02: So that's that's what's the scary thing about.
[1:10:46] SPEAKER_02: It might be the person.
[1:10:47] SPEAKER_02: We were selecting last week, right?
[1:10:49] SPEAKER_02: So the the the tests that you're taking right now might understand each other.
[1:10:53] SPEAKER_02: But what you need to do is before you have sex with somebody, have the conversation about uh A, consent.
[1:10:59] SPEAKER_02: Do you want it?
[1:10:59] SPEAKER_02: Do I want it?
[1:11:00] SPEAKER_02: Two, can we test?
[1:11:02] SPEAKER_02: Are you positive?
[1:11:02] SPEAKER_02: Am I positive?
[1:11:03] SPEAKER_02: Am I negative?
[1:11:04] SPEAKER_02: Are we, you know, have that conversation?
[1:11:06] SPEAKER_02: And then three, uh apparently my mic is over.
[1:11:11] SPEAKER_02: When when before you have sex with somebody, you need to have the conversation.
[1:11:14] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[1:11:15] SPEAKER_02: A about as I said, uh consent, right?
[1:11:18] SPEAKER_02: Yes.
[1:11:19] SPEAKER_02: Then two, um, how are we going to have it?
[1:11:21] SPEAKER_02: Do you want to use a condom or not?
[1:11:22] SPEAKER_02: Am I a condom person?
[1:11:24] SPEAKER_02: Do you have that conversation?
[1:11:25] SPEAKER_02: Agree the brand.
[1:11:26] SPEAKER_02: Don't force a brand on somebody that will affect some people are actually allergic to certain electrons.
[1:11:35] SPEAKER_02: Then three, when you're having it and you're enjoying it, you're having a good time, and you realize perhaps maybe the condom has burst for one reason or another, right?
[1:11:43] SPEAKER_02: Because it happens, right?
[1:11:44] SPEAKER_02: For one reason or another, condom has bust, and you think perhaps there might be exposure.
[1:11:50] SPEAKER_08: And a sudden way, you don't even hear it.
[1:11:51] SPEAKER_05: They say bust.
[1:11:52] SPEAKER_05: You told it and a sound.
[1:11:54] SPEAKER_02: You think there might be exposure.
[1:11:55] SPEAKER_05: You just come out and there's not sound because find a medical silence.
[1:12:02] SPEAKER_02: Find a clinic or a medical center, right?
[1:12:05] SPEAKER_02: Find a medical center, explain to them everything in detail.
[1:12:09] SPEAKER_02: Indeed, don't self-medicate.
[1:12:11] SPEAKER_02: Explain to them everything.
[1:12:12] SPEAKER_02: Tell them this is what happened, this is what has occurred.
[1:12:14] SPEAKER_02: They will tell you take this paper, take the test, find call the person, let them come.
[1:12:20] SPEAKER_02: They will take you through the entire process.
[1:12:21] SPEAKER_02: That one you shouldn't want.
[1:12:22] SPEAKER_02: At least health facilities are equipped to take you through that process.
[1:12:26] SPEAKER_02: So don't worry about it.
[1:12:28] SPEAKER_00: One more thing.
[1:12:28] SPEAKER_00: One more thing.
[1:12:29] SPEAKER_00: Please, we are begging you do not test with your eyes.
[1:12:33] SPEAKER_00: Someone that looks beautiful does not equate to being negative.
[1:12:37] SPEAKER_00: Uh, the tall guy does not mean he is negative.
[1:12:41] SPEAKER_00: Do not mean everybody.
[1:12:48] SPEAKER_00: It was just an example.
[1:12:49] SPEAKER_08: Auntie, but the one you used for men is.
[1:12:51] SPEAKER_00: For men thinking the one you used for women.
[1:12:53] SPEAKER_00: Women that have the hips and the blah blah blah blah.
[1:12:56] SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
[1:12:56] SPEAKER_00: It's not a guarantee that someone looking good.
[1:12:59] SPEAKER_00: In fact, I know that people that are on medication on ARVs tend to look really good.
[1:13:06] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they do.
[1:13:07] SPEAKER_00: They look healthy.
[1:13:08] SPEAKER_00: So don't look at someone and conclude that ah, this one there's no way.
[1:13:13] SPEAKER_00: Please do not test with, trust me.
[1:13:17] SPEAKER_08: What I wanted to ask you guys is how do you bring that conversation?
[1:13:21] SPEAKER_08: Because for very many men, that bringing in that conversation of I think by the way, I think we need a whole episode about sex editing.
[1:13:28] SPEAKER_07: What do you mean by how do you bring in?
[1:13:30] SPEAKER_08: Guys, for your own life.

[1:13:39] SPEAKER_08: Us, on the other hand, are not as intelligent as you.
[1:13:42] SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm telling somebody.
[1:13:43] SPEAKER_02: If you value your life, forget about shame or pride or forget it.

[1:14:22] SPEAKER_00: I don't tell people to talk about these things like they are normal.
[1:14:25] SPEAKER_00: I do not like normalize the conversation.
[1:14:28] SPEAKER_08: Think you're the first person.
[1:14:30] SPEAKER_08: Actually, let me just ask before you say this.
[1:14:33] SPEAKER_08: Usually, eh?
[1:14:35] SPEAKER_08: Uh, how how are you the one who brings up the conversation for testing or it's the guy who has like your previous?
[1:14:41] SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but I don't think it should matter.
[1:14:43] SPEAKER_00: My previous one, it's the person, but it was a normal conversation.
[1:14:46] SPEAKER_00: Actually, it wasn't asking necessarily, it was by the way, do we go to hospital today or tomorrow?

[1:14:55] SPEAKER_07: That was the previous one.
[1:14:56] SPEAKER_00: Before, what do you mean?
[1:14:58] SPEAKER_08: Why is everyone looking at me with judgmental eyes?
[1:15:00] SPEAKER_00: No, I don't know.
[1:15:02] SPEAKER_00: You feel judged for me.
[1:15:03] SPEAKER_00: I okay, sorry, but I am telling you, please normalize the conversation.

[1:15:11] SPEAKER_00: How do no, just say oh, better way bam exactly to get in that day?
[1:15:17] SPEAKER_00: Normalize that scrub or the freaking or hospital, like just take a while, just drop it.

[1:15:57] SPEAKER_08: Yeah, to introduce the conversation.
[1:15:59] SPEAKER_08: That's what I asked her.
[1:16:00] SPEAKER_08: I was like, bye, do you know your blood type?
[1:16:01] SPEAKER_08: She's like, No, who knows those things?
[1:16:03] SPEAKER_08: I'm like, when you're testing for HIV, you can also, you know, they can tell your blood type because it's important to know your blood type.
[1:16:10] SPEAKER_08: You might get an accident, they take you to the hospital, they ask you what's your blood type?
[1:16:13] SPEAKER_08: You're on gaz.
