[0:08] Speaker 1: The Stock Movers Report. Your roundup of companies making moves
[0:12] Speaker 1: in the stock market. Harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.
[0:15] Speaker 2: Let's see what some stock movers are happening out there.
[0:19] Speaker 2: We're going to do that with Tatiana.
[0:20] Speaker 1: Daria, strategist for MarketSlide. Tatiana, what are you looking at today?
[0:24] Speaker 2: I'm looking at MetaShares swinging here quite a bit in
[0:27] Speaker 2: today's trading session. It was down about 2%, and now
[0:31] Speaker 2: it's about flat or slightly higher. Investors are still wrapping
[0:34] Speaker 2: their heads around its latest $ 95 billion combined stock offerings,
[0:39] Speaker 2: one of the largest in history. The company is offering
[0:42] Speaker 2: about $ 35 billion of common and preferred stock, and it
[0:45] Speaker 2: also has plans to raise as much as $ 60 billion
[0:49] Speaker 2: in a separate at-the-market share program. And it also disclosed
[0:53] Speaker 2: that NVIDIA, AMD, and Broadcom had agreed to buy as
[0:57] Speaker 2: much as $ 5 billion of those common shares in aggregate,
[1:00] Speaker 2: so perhaps reviving some of those circular financing concerns there. Again,
[1:06] Speaker 2: I mean, this was kind of expected after they announced
[1:09] Speaker 2: that new class of non-voting stocks share alongside earnings last week.
[1:15] Speaker 2: Just the magnitude of these announcements is what's perhaps taking
[1:19] Speaker 2: investors by surprise here.
[1:21] Speaker 1: Absolutely.
[1:21] Speaker 2: All right, next up on your list. It is Moderna.
[1:24] Speaker 2: That stock is down by about, it was down about 8%.
[1:29] Speaker 2: Now it's slightly under 1%. The drugmaker gave results from
[1:33] Speaker 2: a trial of its experimental vaccine used in the treatment
[1:37] Speaker 2: of pancreatic And BI analysts here say that the data
[1:41] Speaker 2: failed to beat BioNTech's survival treatment or even chemotherapy, so
[1:47] Speaker 2: a little bit underwhelming. Note, though, this is separate from
[1:50] Speaker 2: the leaked data we got on melanoma last week, which
[1:54] Speaker 2: drove all of that sharp moves in the market. So
[1:58] Speaker 2: it looks like investors are still digesting those results. They
[2:01] Speaker 2: did give an update over the weekend for those. For now,
[2:05] Speaker 2: they call that data approvable. Though questions linger over how
[2:09] Speaker 2: much else can we go into the solid tumors based
[2:13] Speaker 2: on the breakthroughs made.
[2:14] Speaker 1: In melanoma alone. All right. One more.
[2:16] Speaker 2: And Tesla here, a big mover today, up 6%. This
[2:20] Speaker 2: is all driven by excitement about a potential takeover from
[2:25] Speaker 2: SpaceX that has prompted analysts to upgrade their rating on
[2:31] Speaker 2: the stock. Barclays is the latest one to lift it
[2:34] Speaker 2: to an overweight from equal weight and assigning a new
[2:37] Speaker 2: price target of $ 450. I have to say that that
[2:41] Speaker 2: average price target has been drifting higher and higher. It's
[2:45] Speaker 2: now pointing to $ 418 a share or about 7% higher.
[2:50] Speaker 2: Investors here are looking past the cash burn, past the
[2:53] Speaker 2: earnings concerns. And M & A is the single most
[2:58] Speaker 2: biggest thing they care about right now.
