## Transcript

[0:04] Speaker 1: Tonight, I want to share with us on a very
[0:08] Speaker 1: sensitive topic. And I pray that the Lord will truly
[0:12] Speaker 1: open our understanding to get it and to apply it.
[0:15] Speaker 1: Glory to God. I'm teaching on the topic I've titled,
[0:19] Speaker 1: The Power of Purity. We have come to a level
[0:27] Speaker 1: where men are beginning to define and redefine God's standards
[0:34] Speaker 1: And we are watering it down. So that our humanity
[0:38] Speaker 1: can be accommodated. But the Bible is speaking in 2
[0:42] Speaker 1: Timothy chapter 1. I think from verse 19 now. It
[0:46] Speaker 1: says the standard of the Lord. Standard show. 2 Timothy
[0:52] Speaker 1: 2 19.
[0:54] Speaker 2: Nevertheless.
[0:55] Speaker 1: The foundation of God. Standard show. It says having these seals.
[1:04] Speaker 1: The Lord knoweth them that are his. He said let
[1:09] Speaker 1: everyone that nameth the name of Christ. Depart from iniquity.
[1:17] Speaker 1: Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ. Depart from iniquity.
[1:26] Speaker 1: Next verse. We are reading to verse 21. He said
[1:30] Speaker 1: but in a great house. They are not only vessels
[1:34] Speaker 1: of gold and of silver. But of wood and of earth.
[1:40] Speaker 1: And it says some to honor. Some to dishonor. This
[1:46] Speaker 1: scripture reveals to us. The reason the potency of the weakness.
[1:53] Speaker 1: Of our Christian faith seems to be diminishing. Is because
[1:58] Speaker 1: the subject matter. And the virtue of purity has been undermined.
[2:04] Speaker 1: So when you find a church where men don't command
[2:10] Speaker 1: the honor of God, this is one of the reasons.
[2:16] Speaker 1: He said, if a man therefore, and this is my
[2:20] Speaker 1: major emphasis, if a man therefore purges himself from these things,
[2:28] Speaker 1: He told us what those things are. If you read
[2:31] Speaker 1: earlier verses, it has to do with issues that defy.
[2:37] Speaker 1: If a man purges himself from these, he says he
[2:41] Speaker 1: shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for
[2:48] Speaker 1: the master's use, and prepared for every good works. We
[2:56] Speaker 1: have come to a point where all we have are
[2:59] Speaker 1: stories of what the patriarchs of old did. The question is,
[3:07] Speaker 1: why has it become difficult for us to manifest God?
[3:13] Speaker 1: You know, I kept asking myself, I said, media is
[3:19] Speaker 1: a blessing because it amplifies what God is doing. But
[3:26] Speaker 1: media has become a curse to our generation. Because we
[3:31] Speaker 1: have learned how to hack the system. Gain cheap popularity.
[3:37] Speaker 1: Attend cheap influence. Gather multitudes. But you can't find the
[3:43] Speaker 1: witness of the father. And what I share with you here.
[3:47] Speaker 1: I'm included. Because there's a burden that I share. In
[3:53] Speaker 1: the days of the father's. When you find multitudes gather,
[3:58] Speaker 1: the things God will do, both in the meeting and after,
[4:04] Speaker 1: sometimes will last for decades. From notable, unexplainable miracles that
[4:12] Speaker 1: you can't deny.
[4:15] Speaker 2: To.
[4:18] Speaker 1: Transformations, you meet people, you just know that the territory
[4:23] Speaker 1: is visited. All kinds of people. Suddenly catching fire for God.
[4:31] Speaker 3: Running.
[4:31] Speaker 1: Advancing the kingdom.
[4:34] Speaker 2: To.
[4:36] Speaker 1: Reformations in the territory. Because when they visited the land.
[4:41] Speaker 1: And they spoke to leaders. You found change. Leaders.
[4:47] Speaker 2: Would redress their path. Reorder their steps.
[4:52] Speaker 1: Resulting in territorial transformation. But our generation, at the end
[4:58] Speaker 1: of all our movements, all we have left are pictures. Pictures.
[5:08] Speaker 2: Pictures.
[5:11] Speaker 1: Of people who care. Pictures of who we saw. I
[5:16] Speaker 1: just came from Ghana last week. I asked myself, is
[5:21] Speaker 1: there a change in that land? Let's do a study
[5:25] Speaker 1: for another two weeks. If there is really a change.
[5:33] Speaker 1: It's time for us to begin to evaluate the scriptures again.
[5:38] Speaker 1: And find if there are truly potent things happening. And
[5:46] Speaker 1: if there are not, we examine the scriptures and find
[5:52] Speaker 1: out What the fathers did. That we are not doing.
[5:56] Speaker 1: And I can tell you. One of the things the
[5:59] Speaker 1: fathers upheld. Very strongly. Is the virtue of purity. Our generation.
[6:08] Speaker 1: We are not just falling. From this virtue. We are
[6:12] Speaker 1: now creating doctrines. That accommodates defilement. So you ask somebody today.
[6:20] Speaker 1: What is righteousness? He tells you, righteousness is a gift.
[6:27] Speaker 1: That's correct. Because Romans 5.17 makes us understand it's a gift.
[6:33] Speaker 1: But that's not all there is about righteousness. You ask
[6:37] Speaker 1: somebody today, what is righteousness? He tells you, righteousness is
[6:42] Speaker 1: the divine nature that was imparted to you when you
[6:45] Speaker 1: received Christ. That is true.
[6:49] Speaker 2: Because 2 Corinthians.
[6:50] Speaker 1: 5 21 tells us that but that's not all there
[6:56] Speaker 1: is about righteousness because i'm talking to you today first
[7:03] Speaker 1: because i have the human nature.
[7:06] Speaker 2: But what if i was not talking.
[7:10] Speaker 1: So it's not just about the nature it's what the
[7:13] Speaker 1: nature compels you to do so i'm not just human
[7:18] Speaker 1: because i have a human nature I'm also human because
[7:22] Speaker 1: I function like a man. That's why today when you
[7:27] Speaker 1: see certain attitudes of men, they call it inhumanity. They
[7:33] Speaker 1: call it beastly attitude. So there are many human beings
[7:38] Speaker 1: that have the nature of man but live like beasts.
[7:42] Speaker 1: Because you can't tell me that somebody who kidnaps a
[7:47] Speaker 1: child Butchers that child.
[7:49] Speaker 2: Delivers the body.
[7:51] Speaker 1: And receives 10,000.
[7:53] Speaker 2: Buys recharge card.
[7:54] Speaker 1: Eats food. Eat without conscience. And you say that person
[7:58] Speaker 1: is a human. No doubt he has the nature. But
[8:02] Speaker 1: when it has to do with character. That's the beast.
[8:06] Speaker 2: And that's what we have today. Even in Christendom. Gift
[8:11] Speaker 2: of righteousness.
[8:12] Speaker 1: True.
[8:13] Speaker 2: Nature of righteousness.
[8:15] Speaker 1: True.
[8:16] Speaker 2: But character of righteousness.
[8:17] Speaker 1: True. Far fetched.
[8:20] Speaker 2: And the Bible told us. In 1st John chapter 3.
[8:23] Speaker 1: Verse 7 and verse 9. It says little children. Let
[8:28] Speaker 1: no man deceive you. It says him that doeth. Not
[8:32] Speaker 1: him that has. Through you have the nature. But it
[8:36] Speaker 1: says him that doeth righteousness. That's the one who is righteous.
[8:41] Speaker 1: And that's the one who can claim. He is the
[8:43] Speaker 1: child of God. It says for therein. Are the children
[8:47] Speaker 1: of God. separated from the children of the devil so
[8:51] Speaker 1: you can't say you are righteous just because you have
[8:54] Speaker 1: god's nature that nature should influence god's character but the
[9:00] Speaker 1: character aspect we don't just lack it but we are
[9:04] Speaker 1: creating doctrines to accommodate the serpentine nature that we have
[9:08] Speaker 1: imbibed this is why you can't find vessels unto honor
[9:16] Speaker 1: This is why God can no longer apportion good works
[9:20] Speaker 1: to us. Because it's a man who purges himself from
[9:26] Speaker 1: these things that God prepares for good works. So the
[9:30] Speaker 1: works that we pray, hope for, sing of, talk about,
[9:35] Speaker 1: we can't see them. Because we don't have what it
[9:38] Speaker 1: takes to be considered honorable in the realm of God.
[9:44] Speaker 1: And so we must come to A path of restoration.
[9:49] Speaker 1: And restoration begins by acknowledging the problem that we have.
[9:55] Speaker 1: So that we can ask for help, receive grace and transit.
[10:00] Speaker 1: Into what God expects us to be People teach holiness
[10:04] Speaker 1: today As anything God alights on So Mount Sinai is
[10:11] Speaker 1: holy Because when the spirit of God Comes on anything
[10:16] Speaker 1: It becomes sanctified But since God came upon Mount Sinai,
[10:21] Speaker 1: what other activities are happening there? So God came on
[10:25] Speaker 1: your life, sanctified you. But this you that is sanctified,
[10:29] Speaker 1: you are joining yourself with the hallowed. So are you sanctified?
[10:37] Speaker 1: Lying to ourselves. You are holy because you are set
[10:40] Speaker 1: apart for God. How can you now carry the house
[10:43] Speaker 1: of God and combine it with the hallowed? Paul said,
[10:48] Speaker 1: whoever is joined to.
[10:49] Speaker 2: The Lord is one spirit with him.
[10:52] Speaker 1: He said, so you shouldn't join the house of God
[10:55] Speaker 1: to a hallowed.
[10:57] Speaker 2: So if you say God.
[10:58] Speaker 1: Is on you and you are sanctified, that's true.
[11:00] Speaker 2: But are you living sanctified?
[11:04] Speaker 1: This is why many dimensions of God that we can
[11:07] Speaker 1: exegize from scripture excellently yet we can't manifest. Because it's
[11:14] Speaker 1: beyond exegesis.
[11:16] Speaker 2: A life must.
[11:17] Speaker 1: Be built to support it. And if you read that scripture.
[11:22] Speaker 1: It didn't just say. If God purges the man. It
[11:26] Speaker 1: said if the man purges himself.
[11:28] Speaker 3: So there is a place.
[11:29] Speaker 1: Where the Holy Ghost sanctifies you. And there is a
[11:32] Speaker 1: place where you too. Must deploy grace. To live sanctified.
[11:37] Speaker 1: If a man purges himself. In 1 Corinthians 9.27.
[11:42] Speaker 3: Paul said.
[11:43] Speaker 1: I beat my body. I beat my body. I bring
[11:49] Speaker 1: it under subjection. I beat my body. I bring it
[11:55] Speaker 1: under subjection. A generation needs to wake up and fight
[12:02] Speaker 1: for purity. We are living in a world of defilement.
[12:08] Speaker 1: And unfortunately, most of us have joined that parade. In
[12:12] Speaker 1: 2 Corinthians 6.17, it says, come out from among them.
[12:17] Speaker 1: He said touch not.
[12:18] Speaker 2: The unclean thing. If they did that. Be it the
[12:22] Speaker 2: vessels of God. They must be clean.
[12:28] Speaker 1: When we end up with strategies. And make a caricature.
[12:33] Speaker 2: Of ourselves. If we don't pay the price. To build.
[12:38] Speaker 1: And cultivate purity. And so tonight. I'm going to be attempting.
[12:45] Speaker 1: To define. Purity from biblical perspective. And then show you
[12:53] Speaker 1: layers or dimensions of purity. And then show you the
[13:01] Speaker 1: power of purity. And then I round up by showing
[13:06] Speaker 1: you how to cultivate purity. I landed the country two
[13:12] Speaker 1: hours ago. But all through the night while I was flying.
[13:16] Speaker 1: This was the burden in my spirit. You know the
[13:20] Speaker 1: teachings I've been giving you in the last two weeks
[13:23] Speaker 1: are targeted at bringing you into experience in a manifesting God.
[13:29] Speaker 1: I remember teaching you last week on how to be
[13:34] Speaker 1: full of God. On Tuesday I taught you how to
[13:39] Speaker 1: walk in grace. Go sit down with these messages. Meditate
[13:45] Speaker 1: on them. And become what you hear. We are in
[13:52] Speaker 1: a treacherous.
[13:54] Speaker 3: Cruel.
[13:55] Speaker 1: Wicked generation. You know.
[14:00] Speaker 2: I didn't know what the bible meant. By mammon.
[14:05] Speaker 1: Until I came. Where I am coming from. When I
[14:08] Speaker 1: entered there. I now realize.
[14:11] Speaker 2: Why the bible didn't compare.
[14:14] Speaker 1: Religion.
[14:15] Speaker 4: Religion.
[14:17] Speaker 1: Or wickedness with God but mammo if you fall here
[14:24] Speaker 1: you are playing it means you don't even know what
[14:28] Speaker 1: you are doing I've been going to Dubai since 2018
[14:35] Speaker 1: or 2019 but usually when I.
[14:39] Speaker 2: Come as I preach that night I leave I never
[14:43] Speaker 2: go out but this visit I.
[14:46] Speaker 1: Went for I said, let me look around this environment.
[14:52] Speaker 1: What is going on here? And I turned to my window.
[14:57] Speaker 1: I looked outside. And as I gazed here for like
[15:03] Speaker 1: 10 minutes, I counted more than 10 Rolls Royce. I
[15:09] Speaker 1: counted more than 10 Ferraris. G-Wagon is like Corona there. Corona.
[15:15] Speaker 3: You know Corona?
[15:16] Speaker 1: G-Wagon is like Corona. Range Rover is like they use
[15:24] Speaker 1: Tesla for for Uber. And what's happening here?
[15:36] Speaker 2: It's normal.
[15:37] Speaker 1: I say what is good? Are these people living here
[15:40] Speaker 1: for pleasure? Is this vanity or what am I seeing here?
[15:46] Speaker 1: I now step down from the hotel room, just to
[15:50] Speaker 1: see the environment. If you turn here, you see more
[15:54] Speaker 1: than six women. They are naked. You turn here, any
[16:00] Speaker 1: direction you turn, they were coming.
[16:02] Speaker 2: As if they were pushing them. I said, where is this?
[16:08] Speaker 2: I now tried to escape and go outside. I saw
[16:11] Speaker 2: the reason why they were coming in that volume.
[16:14] Speaker 1: In front of the hotel. There were more than 4 Lamborghinis.
[16:18] Speaker 1: More than 5 Rolls Royce. Ferraris.
[16:21] Speaker 3: And then the guys that parked those cars.
[16:23] Speaker 2: They wear short.
[16:23] Speaker 1: Knickers and shit.
[16:24] Speaker 2: And they just threw out casually. I now knew.
[16:29] Speaker 1: This is the headquarter of Waddle. There are Christians there.
[16:35] Speaker 1: The point I'm making is. If you fall here. You
[16:39] Speaker 1: dived into a cup. You fell into a cup. You
[16:42] Speaker 1: didn't fall. You didn't fall. You will drown in a
[16:45] Speaker 1: cup of water. Because there is no lost tears. You
[16:50] Speaker 1: will look at Christ. You will change your ambition in life.
[16:53] Speaker 1: And say me I must have two Rolls Royce. The
[16:56] Speaker 1: thing will hit you so hard. Now did that the word.
[17:04] Speaker 1: We are hoping to conquer. I saw what it meant.
[17:07] Speaker 1: When the Bible said. Satan took Jesus up. And showed
[17:11] Speaker 1: him the glory of the world.
[17:12] Speaker 2: In a moment.
[17:14] Speaker 1: And say bow to me. When Jesus stood his ground.
[17:18] Speaker 1: He took the spirit to be pure. You have not
[17:22] Speaker 1: seen the glory of the word. I tell you.
[17:26] Speaker 2: If you see the glory of the word.
[17:30] Speaker 3: But this.
[17:32] Speaker 2: Is what Satan uses. To bagain the children of God.
[17:37] Speaker 2: So you see.
[17:38] Speaker 1: I realize the most powerful force on earth. Is the
[17:42] Speaker 1: force of seduction. It darkens the heart of people. So
[17:50] Speaker 1: when people are defied. You know what the Bible said?
[17:54] Speaker 1: It said they are separated from God. Ephesians 4.17 Write.
[18:03] Speaker 2: These scriptures down.
[18:06] Speaker 1: Many people are no longer part of God's family. They
[18:11] Speaker 1: will discover in eternity.
[18:15] Speaker 3: It said.
[18:17] Speaker 1: This I say therefore and testify in the Lord.
[18:22] Speaker 2: That ye henceforth.
[18:23] Speaker 1: Walk not as other Gentiles walk. In the vanity of
[18:29] Speaker 1: their minds. Verse 18. What is the result of that vanity?
[18:35] Speaker 1: Having their understanding darkened. Being alienated from the life of God.
[18:42] Speaker 1: To the ignorance that is in them. And the blindness
[18:46] Speaker 1: of their hearts. So the two negative impact of defilement
[18:52] Speaker 1: is a darkened understanding.
[18:54] Speaker 3: That's why the.
[18:55] Speaker 1: Moment you lose your purity, no spiritual thing makes sense
[18:59] Speaker 1: to you anymore. Prayer no longer makes sense. Fasting no
[19:04] Speaker 1: longer makes sense. Keeping because your understanding is darkened.
[19:10] Speaker 2: Soul winning no longer makes sense.
[19:13] Speaker 1: Worshipping God no.
[19:14] Speaker 2: Longer makes sense. And that's not all. Instead you are alienated.
[19:18] Speaker 1: The same way the Gentiles that don't know God are alienated.
[19:22] Speaker 1: So the things of the spirit can no longer find
[19:25] Speaker 1: expression in your life. You call the name of Jesus
[19:28] Speaker 1: no power. You quote scripture no result. And then you
[19:36] Speaker 1: are wondering what happened? You are being cut off from
[19:39] Speaker 1: the commonwealth of Israel. The things that respond to us.
[19:44] Speaker 2: No longer respond to you.
[19:46] Speaker 1: Because it doesn't just.
[19:47] Speaker 2: Back in your heart. And makes the things of God.
[19:50] Speaker 1: Useless it also cuts you off from the supply of
[19:54] Speaker 1: the spirit a switch is useless if there's no flow
[19:57] Speaker 1: of electricity On it, no light will come up. Light
[20:00] Speaker 1: does not come up because there's a switch. Light comes
[20:03] Speaker 1: up first because there's a flow of electricity. So when
[20:06] Speaker 1: defilement enters you, it cuts you off from the flow
[20:10] Speaker 1: of life. This is why you'll find many Christians empty, powerless,
[20:15] Speaker 1: and almost useless.
[20:17] Speaker 2: The foundation is that they have lost their purity.
[20:20] Speaker 1: They say, we have not received the Spirit that is
[20:25] Speaker 1: of the Lord. We have received the spirit.
[20:28] Speaker 2: That is of God.
[20:28] Speaker 1: 1 Corinthians 2 verse 12. It says so we know
[20:32] Speaker 1: the things freely given to us by God. It says
[20:36] Speaker 1: which things we speak. Not with words that human wisdom teaches.
[20:40] Speaker 1: But with words that the Holy Ghost teaches. Comparing spiritual
[20:43] Speaker 1: things with spiritual. It says the natural mind. The mind
[20:48] Speaker 1: that is of the senses. The unspiritual. Defied mind. He
[20:54] Speaker 1: said he cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God.
[20:58] Speaker 2: He said neither can he know them.
[21:01] Speaker 1: Does that resemble Ephesians 4.18? He can't receive, he can't know.
[21:07] Speaker 1: So when you say be blessed, he can't receive it.
[21:10] Speaker 1: When he says Jesus, he can't receive what the name
[21:13] Speaker 1: of Jesus delivers. When he quotes scripture, he can't receive
[21:16] Speaker 1: what he delivers. And he can't know them. The appetite
[21:21] Speaker 1: and desire for God dies. With defilement. So when Satan
[21:28] Speaker 1: wants to rob a generation. He may allow that generation
[21:32] Speaker 1: to be going to church. He may allow that generation
[21:35] Speaker 1: to be praying. He may allow that generation to be
[21:38] Speaker 1: calling the name of Jesus. He may allow that generation
[21:41] Speaker 1: to be quoting scripture. But in addition to all of that.
[21:45] Speaker 1: He will add defilement. They can do that in corruption.
[21:50] Speaker 1: So long as they are doing it with defilement, it
[21:53] Speaker 1: will be useless. Fight like Paul. Fight to keep your purity.
[22:02] Speaker 1: Reject any doctrine that makes you think it's okay to
[22:06] Speaker 1: live in sin. Reject any encouragement that makes you feel
[22:11] Speaker 1: it's okay to manage defilement. Hope you know Satan didn't
[22:15] Speaker 1: bother whether Jesus had a mission or not. He just
[22:18] Speaker 1: wanted to add defilement to that mission. And if they
[22:21] Speaker 1: succeed in doing that, everything is already lost. The Bible says,
[22:26] Speaker 1: if our gospel be healed, it is healed to them
[22:30] Speaker 1: that are lost. 2 Corinthians 4.3 As powerful as the
[22:35] Speaker 1: gospel is, Paul calls the gospel the power of God
[22:39] Speaker 1: unto salvation. But this power of God unto salvation, the
[22:43] Speaker 1: Bible says, it is useless to those who are not pure.
[22:48] Speaker 1: If our gospel be healed, it is he to them
[22:51] Speaker 1: that are what lost whom the god of this world
[22:55] Speaker 1: has blinded how does he blind them ephesians 4 18
[22:59] Speaker 1: through defilement.
[27:45] Speaker 2: What will come out of it? What you will hear
[27:47] Speaker 2: is hair.
[27:48] Speaker 1: Not hello. Oh, they will eat. Orgar, bath before you
[27:58] Speaker 1: come to church. Wash your clothes. Iron it.
[28:01] Speaker 2: Brush your mouth. Get a cologne.
[28:08] Speaker 1: Even if it's a one of 200, buy it. Don't
[28:11] Speaker 1: kill some people. Don't stop somebody from assessing God. we
[28:25] Speaker 1: believe in brotherly love but let brothers be clean how
[28:35] Speaker 1: can anybody take you serious church is squeezed, swelling and
[28:40] Speaker 1: they say in this church people don't love themselves You'll
[28:45] Speaker 1: finish service. Nobody will even greet you. Greet who?
[28:48] Speaker 2: You want to kill me? You'll say hello somebody.
[28:52] Speaker 1: In your home, there is a chemical imbalance. Before you
[28:58] Speaker 1: accuse everybody, look at yourself first. I'm not saying we
[29:02] Speaker 1: should despise anybody. But sir, make yourself lovable. And stop
[29:07] Speaker 1: accusing everybody in the house of God. Now, let's go
[29:12] Speaker 1: into serious business. Morally and spiritually clean. Glory to God.
[29:33] Speaker 1: If this one talks to you, it means that's your
[29:35] Speaker 1: first message. Go and buy soap at the target. wash
[29:40] Speaker 1: all your clothes. I don't need it. Now we have
[29:47] Speaker 1: to buy, if you go to churches now, we buy
[29:51] Speaker 1: prayer dresses to saturate everywhere first. I wanted to say
[30:01] Speaker 1: if you don't have come after service but I know
[30:04] Speaker 1: that will be a day a risk the multitude that
[30:08] Speaker 1: will come at least let's pay school fees for now
[30:18] Speaker 1: buy some $ 15 and wash your clothes purity let's get
[30:25] Speaker 1: back to business what are the dimensions of purity Number one,
[30:32] Speaker 1: purity of the heart. This speaks of inner motives and desires.
[30:43] Speaker 1: As a believer, you must ensure at all times that
[30:49] Speaker 1: your motives and your desires are right concerning everything you do. See,
[30:57] Speaker 1: we are so defied that Even the so-called service.
[31:01] Speaker 2: In the house of God is done with wrong motives.
[31:05] Speaker 1: That's why when you move people from one area of
[31:07] Speaker 1: service to another, they are offended. Because they are looking
[31:12] Speaker 1: for self-gain, self-aggrandizement, not glorifying God. And many persons, their
[31:21] Speaker 1: area of service Matthew 5 verse 8. He said blessed
[31:31] Speaker 1: are the people in heart. He said for they shall
[31:35] Speaker 1: see God. Proverbs 4 verse 3. Guard your heart. When
[32:00] Speaker 1: you start saying things like this, Satan becomes afraid. Because
[32:04] Speaker 1: he knows many giants will rise. This is what stops
[32:07] Speaker 1: many persons. If they hide the Lord, I don't see
[32:11] Speaker 1: how men see.
[32:12] Speaker 2: I see the heart.
[32:14] Speaker 1: There are many people today who are fasting every month
[32:17] Speaker 1: for 21 days. They are going nowhere. You know why?
[32:21] Speaker 2: How can God be using that person and not me?
[32:24] Speaker 2: Motive wrong.
[32:26] Speaker 1: This was the only thing that stopped Hannah from having
[32:29] Speaker 1: a child for many years. What is this about Penina?
[32:33] Speaker 1: That she has so many children that I don't have. Madam,
[32:37] Speaker 1: forget Penina. Face yourself and.
[32:40] Speaker 2: Your work with God.
[32:41] Speaker 1: The day she turned from the woman and said, Lord,
[32:45] Speaker 1: give me a child and we give him back to you.
[32:47] Speaker 1: Pregnancy came automatic.
[32:50] Speaker 2: Our motives most times are wrong.
[32:53] Speaker 3: Why do you.
[32:54] Speaker 2: Want that position?
[32:55] Speaker 3: Why do you want to.
[32:56] Speaker 1: Carry out that service? Why do you want to be
[32:58] Speaker 1: in that location? Most times, error in motive. That's why fasting, prayer,
[33:05] Speaker 1: produces no result. It says, guard your heart with all diligence.
[33:12] Speaker 1: Proverbs 4.23 It says, out of it are the issues
[33:17] Speaker 1: of life. Other translations call it the boundaries of life.
[33:22] Speaker 1: So your possibilities are are to the extent that your
[33:26] Speaker 1: heart is purified if your heart is wrong you will
[33:30] Speaker 1: never see it some people keep despising those god helps
[33:36] Speaker 1: because they are they are thinking they are better qualified
[33:39] Speaker 1: that's why they never attain it their heart towards them
[33:43] Speaker 1: is evil.
[33:46] Speaker 3: So the first dimension.
[33:47] Speaker 1: Of purity is of the heart it deals with motives
[33:51] Speaker 1: listen check your motives so Especially when you want to
[33:55] Speaker 1: take actions. If your motives are wrong. Stop that action.
[33:59] Speaker 1: Go to God.
[34:00] Speaker 3: Tell him.
[34:01] Speaker 1: Help me. Get your motives right. Before you take any action.
[34:06] Speaker 1: Before you waste your time and your resources. Number two.
[34:11] Speaker 1: Dimension of purity. Is purity of the mind. This speaks
[34:19] Speaker 1: about your thought life. Thought life. Any good report, if
[34:45] Speaker 1: there be virtue, if there be praise, I say think
[34:50] Speaker 1: on those things. Some people's thought life is terrible. They
[34:59] Speaker 1: wake up in the morning with thoughts of immorality to
[35:02] Speaker 1: their sleep. They wake up with thoughts of treachery. manipulative
[35:11] Speaker 1: thoughts before they sleep in fact they are so gathered
[35:14] Speaker 1: with those thoughts that if you make a mistake in
[35:18] Speaker 1: five seconds they are already equipped to swindle you.
[35:22] Speaker 3: They are gathered.
[35:25] Speaker 1: And when god finds such people he doesn't just separate
[35:29] Speaker 1: himself from them he destroys them genesis you read it
[35:33] Speaker 1: chapters I think it's from verse 8 now. He said
[35:36] Speaker 1: the thoughts and the imaginations of man was evil continually.
[35:41] Speaker 2: And God said, I will no longer strive with man.
[35:50] Speaker 1: You must learn how to purify your thoughts through meditation
[35:56] Speaker 1: on the word of God.
[35:57] Speaker 2: He said, how then shall a young man keep his ways?
[36:02] Speaker 1: He said by taking heed. Unto thy word. Thy word
[36:06] Speaker 1: have I put in my heart. That I shall not
[36:08] Speaker 1: sin against you. Psalm 119. Verse 9 and 11.
[36:13] Speaker 2: Purify your thoughts.
[36:16] Speaker 3: He said casting down.
[36:18] Speaker 1: Imaginations. And every high standing thing.
[36:21] Speaker 2: That upholds itself above the.
[36:23] Speaker 1: Knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10. From verse 5 to 6.
[36:26] Speaker 1: He said bringing into captivity. Every thought. To the obedience
[36:32] Speaker 1: of Christ. Why do you look at that brother. And
[36:37] Speaker 1: all that comes out of you is lost. Why do
[36:40] Speaker 1: you look at that sister. And all that comes out
[36:42] Speaker 1: of you is lost. Something is wrong with you. Sit
[36:47] Speaker 1: on the wall. Meditate.
[36:49] Speaker 2: For you to be refined.
[36:52] Speaker 1: That's not how men think. Your touch will be so purified.
[36:57] Speaker 1: That even when you see a halot. Instead of lost it.
[37:02] Speaker 1: You should pity the person. And you should.
[37:04] Speaker 2: Develop a burden to win them.
[37:07] Speaker 1: It's possible. That's where God ordained us to live. I'm
[37:14] Speaker 1: telling you why we are powerless. It's largely from within us.
[37:22] Speaker 2: Number three. Purity of speech.
[37:27] Speaker 4: Or words.
[37:29] Speaker 1: Some people are so So defied in their communication.
[37:37] Speaker 2: Ephesians 4.29.
[37:38] Speaker 1: It says, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.
[37:48] Speaker 1: Let no evil communication. Some people enjoy talking vanity. They
[37:55] Speaker 1: enjoy talking iniquity. And it's a revelation of the state
[38:00] Speaker 1: of their heart. For out of the abundance of the heart,
[38:04] Speaker 1: the mouth speaketh. No matter how Satan pushes you to say,
[38:09] Speaker 1: I do wars, evil wars, stop yourself. Let nothing unwholesome
[38:17] Speaker 1: come out of your mouth. Now they have even become slangs.
[38:23] Speaker 1: And you hear Christians use them. That's not how we speak.
[38:29] Speaker 2: There is a code for our communication.
[38:31] Speaker 1: Colossians 4, 6 said, let our words be seasoned with grace.
[38:38] Speaker 1: We speak only wholesome things. You should be irritated when
[38:44] Speaker 1: men speak error.
[38:46] Speaker 2: Evil, idle words around you.
[38:49] Speaker 1: Don't be inspired by such things and pick them up.
[38:57] Speaker 1: You'll hear Christians pick words from their gutters. And they'll
[39:03] Speaker 1: be using these words. And they don't know that these
[39:06] Speaker 1: are instruments of defilement. It choked me. It choked me.
[39:11] Speaker 1: What is that? Those days when we were in the university.
[39:19] Speaker 1: Almost graduating from the university. You ask somebody something. If
[39:25] Speaker 1: there's something he cannot do or something he doesn't want.
[39:27] Speaker 2: To do, say, make I die. What's that?
[39:34] Speaker 1: Talking nonsense.
[39:36] Speaker 2: That's why we can't be pure.
[39:39] Speaker 1: Our words corrupt us. Number four, purity of the body.
[39:48] Speaker 1: This speaks of sexual integrity. 1 Corinthians 6 17-20 He
[40:02] Speaker 1: that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.
[40:09] Speaker 2: And you think it ends there.
[40:10] Speaker 1: No it doesn't. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man
[40:16] Speaker 1: doeth Is without the body. But he that committed fornication.
[40:23] Speaker 1: Seen it against the body. What? Know ye not. That
[40:30] Speaker 1: your body. Is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Which
[40:33] Speaker 1: is in you. Which you have of God. You are
[40:37] Speaker 1: not your own. Verse 20. For you are bought with
[40:41] Speaker 1: a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in
[40:46] Speaker 1: your spirit which are God's. Glorify God with your body.
[40:56] Speaker 1: Don't get yourself into everything. Don't touch things. Don't allow
[41:03] Speaker 1: things touch you in a compromising manner. Do you know
[41:08] Speaker 1: that the way you can shake somebody can be defilement? Seductively.
[41:14] Speaker 1: The way you can look at somebody can be defilement? Seductively.
[41:20] Speaker 1: There are people that their eyes, I taught you here before, Nakash.
[41:25] Speaker 1: They send seduction through their eyes. They look at you,
[41:29] Speaker 1: roll their eyes, they shake you, hold your hands, squeeze you.
[41:33] Speaker 1: These are seduction. Don't let those things Nowadays, young ladies
[41:41] Speaker 1: carry their phones and they say they are doing face chat.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Is it face chat?
[41:46] Speaker 1: And they are rolling their tongues. They don't even know
[41:48] Speaker 1: why they are doing it. They roll their tongues and
[41:51] Speaker 1: put online. Seduction is God defilement of the body. They
[41:59] Speaker 1: are defied and they are defiling others. So that when
[42:03] Speaker 1: weak people see these things, arrows of seduction are shot
[42:07] Speaker 1: into their hearts. What are you putting your tongue and
[42:12] Speaker 1: recording and putting online for? If you are not an
[42:16] Speaker 1: agent of this habit. You think it's only those who
[42:24] Speaker 1: fly that are agents? There are more tracking agents than
[42:28] Speaker 1: flying ones. A young man goes to gym. That's a
[42:37] Speaker 1: healthy exercise. But if they're dreaming, end with wearing shirt,
[42:42] Speaker 1: removing four buttons, and putting your chest everywhere. Oh God,
[42:45] Speaker 1: go and close that chest and get out of the road.
[42:49] Speaker 1: We are not living life by the size of chest.
[42:53] Speaker 1: Find out our sisters today. They're so clothed. The whole
[42:57] Speaker 1: cleavage is outside. The whole lap outside. And hypocrite, they'll
[43:01] Speaker 1: be trying to cover.
[43:02] Speaker 2: What are you covering? Don't you know what you are?
[43:08] Speaker 2: Defile people. Trying to defile others. And when you talk,
[43:16] Speaker 2: they say, no, it's not works, works.
[43:17] Speaker 3: We are in grace.
[43:18] Speaker 1: Which grace? It's that the grace of God that bringeth
[43:21] Speaker 1: salvation has appeared to all men. Teaching us. Teaching us
[43:26] Speaker 1: that denying ungodliness. That we should live soberly. Godly.
[43:32] Speaker 2: In this present world. What grace are you talking about?
[43:39] Speaker 1: If any part of your body provokes sexual desires from
[43:46] Speaker 1: anybody at any time, and it is.
[43:50] Speaker 2: Not within the context of.
[43:51] Speaker 1: Marriage, your body has been defiled. And you have converted
[43:56] Speaker 1: it as an agent of defilement. Number five, purity of relationships.
[44:08] Speaker 1: These are relationships with well-defined boundaries. When relationships lose their boundaries,
[44:18] Speaker 1: it has provoked defilement. 1 Timothy 5 verse 2 is
[44:26] Speaker 1: they treat the younger women as sisters. So any conversations
[44:36] Speaker 1: Anything you can't do with your blood sister. Don't do
[44:39] Speaker 1: with the sister in church. Treat the elder women as mothers.
[44:46] Speaker 1: The younger women as sisters. With all purity.
[45:00] Speaker 2: Hello my sister. And you hug her.
[45:02] Speaker 3: You hug her.
[45:03] Speaker 2: You hug her.
[45:06] Speaker 1: When you find such a person, hold his ear and
[45:09] Speaker 1: pull him out of there. Let him go with his seduction.
[45:15] Speaker 2: Shake her.
[45:18] Speaker 1: She is not your wife. If you must hug her,
[45:21] Speaker 1: hug her on the side. Don't grab anybody here. I
[45:25] Speaker 1: want to break and puncture the person in the name
[45:28] Speaker 1: that you are doing brotherly love. The whole body is.
[45:33] Speaker 2: Laden with seduction. You think Satan don't know you?
[45:47] Speaker 1: Jokers. Hebrews 12.14 said, Follow peace with all men and
[45:56] Speaker 1: holiness without which no eye shall see God. Every relationship
[46:03] Speaker 1: has a boundary. There's no chat. I can chat with
[46:07] Speaker 1: anybody that my wife can't see. All of you who
[46:15] Speaker 1: chat me here, my wife sees. If she looks at
[46:24] Speaker 1: you like this, it.
[46:25] Speaker 2: Means be careful.
[46:28] Speaker 3: If not that my husband.
[46:29] Speaker 1: Was calling you sister, sister, I know where you wanted
[46:32] Speaker 1: to go. If you will hide your phone from your wife,
[46:38] Speaker 1: something is wrong. You know that you have violated boundaries.
[46:44] Speaker 1: There's no conversation you can have with a speech that
[46:47] Speaker 1: your wife can't come in.
[46:55] Speaker 2: You claim you want to help her, but your wife
[46:57] Speaker 2: can't know. What help is that? There's an ulterior motive.
[47:02] Speaker 1: If that help is pure, you won't be afraid of
[47:05] Speaker 1: telling your wife.
[47:09] Speaker 3: Don't worry.
[47:09] Speaker 2: I don't like the way you are tracking. I will
[47:11] Speaker 2: buy you a car.
[47:20] Speaker 1: How many people have you bought car for before and
[47:23] Speaker 1: this car you want to buy how come it's a
[47:25] Speaker 1: secret conversation let's see okay we're not in the office
[47:37] Speaker 1: why are you seeing everybody in the office but this
[47:40] Speaker 1: one has to be in the parking We are not
[47:44] Speaker 1: sincere people sir. That's why Satan explores and destroys us.
[47:55] Speaker 2: Purity in relationships.
[47:57] Speaker 1: Number six. Purity in worship. Jesus said in John 4 24.
[48:06] Speaker 1: It's a day that worship the father. Must worship him
[48:10] Speaker 1: in spirit and in truth. Isaiah 1, 11 to 14,
[48:15] Speaker 1: the whole emphasis is to reject fake and impure worship.
[48:22] Speaker 1: And you know worship that is not sincere. Everybody is praying.
[48:28] Speaker 1: You start on your chair like this. The moment they
[48:31] Speaker 1: give you mic, they say, O Gaza, when you want
[48:36] Speaker 1: to add drama, go to the back. We are doing
[48:38] Speaker 1: serious business here.
[48:42] Speaker 3: They are worshipping God.
[48:43] Speaker 1: You are pressing your phone. Until they say take.
[48:47] Speaker 2: Lead worship. You start crying. No wonder they call them
[48:56] Speaker 2: artists now. Artists. That's what we have now.
[49:07] Speaker 1: Artists. They come as if they love God.
[49:12] Speaker 2: The moment they finish singing, they follow the back door
[49:14] Speaker 2: and go.
[49:19] Speaker 1: Artists. We need worshippers. People who fear God. People who
[49:26] Speaker 1: reverence God. People who honor God. People who love God.
[49:32] Speaker 1: That's what God is checking. Not the song you are singing.
[49:35] Speaker 1: The song is supposed to ventilate the heart of honor.
[49:39] Speaker 1: The heart of reverence. The heart of adoration. So if
[49:43] Speaker 1: there is no honor. If there is no reverence. If
[49:45] Speaker 1: there is no adoration.
[49:46] Speaker 3: That's an echo.
[49:56] Speaker 1: And then finally.
[49:58] Speaker 2: Purity. In general conduct. In 1 Peter 1.15.
[50:03] Speaker 1: And 16. The Bible told us. But as he which
[50:11] Speaker 1: has called you is holy, be ye holy in all
[50:17] Speaker 1: manner of conversation. This is where your conscience comes in
[50:24] Speaker 1: as a checker. Your conscience. As a checker. Do you
[50:38] Speaker 1: know there are some men of God today, if they marry,
[50:40] Speaker 1: they have to change their sim cards? Because if they don't,
[50:44] Speaker 1: there will be problem at home. There are more than
[50:47] Speaker 1: 8 sisters that they are having the same conversation with.
[50:52] Speaker 1: These are not holy brethren. I'm not talking to you
[51:03] Speaker 1: as one who has not fallen before.
[51:04] Speaker 2: I have fallen.
[51:09] Speaker 1: But I didn't lie to myself. So I cried to
[51:13] Speaker 1: God anytime I fought to help me rise. So this
[51:16] Speaker 1: is not self-righteousness. This is showing you the standard of God.
[51:21] Speaker 1: And as you imbibe it, grace will be supplied to
[51:25] Speaker 1: help you. So these are the dimensions of purity. Be
[51:37] Speaker 1: pure in all manner of conversations If you do this,
[51:43] Speaker 1: you will see the power of purity.
[51:47] Speaker 2: And very quickly, because of our time, let.
[51:50] Speaker 1: Me itemize few powers that true biblical purity confers on men.
[51:57] Speaker 1: You know, as a traveler, I have to sit down
[52:01] Speaker 1: to begin to learn all these things. Because when I
[52:05] Speaker 1: started traveling at first, the only dimension of power I
[52:09] Speaker 1: knew Is the power that comes from the stirring of
[52:12] Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit.
[52:14] Speaker 2: So before I go to preach. I pray in tongues
[52:17] Speaker 2: for hours.
[52:19] Speaker 1: When I'm preaching. Everywhere has to be on fire. For
[52:22] Speaker 1: power to move. I now realize. It's not everyday I'm preaching.
[52:29] Speaker 1: As I started growing. Some people call me 2am in
[52:32] Speaker 1: the morning. Somebody is dying. Where is the time to
[52:35] Speaker 1: go and be stirred? You are walking in the market.
[52:40] Speaker 1: As I was coming into the country today, a guy
[52:42] Speaker 1: ran to me.
[52:44] Speaker 3: In business class, nailed down.
[52:46] Speaker 2: I said, please pray for me.
[52:49] Speaker 1: I was so ashamed. I said, stand up for me.
[52:53] Speaker 1: The more I dragged him, the more he nailed. In
[52:54] Speaker 1: order not to waste time, I said, Father, bless him.
[52:57] Speaker 1: I said, it's well with you, sir. Pray a shot
[53:00] Speaker 1: so that I can go away. How do you go
[53:04] Speaker 1: and start staring yourself there? That means there are many
[53:08] Speaker 1: tributaries to power. It can't just be you are scared.
[53:13] Speaker 1: If you are not scared, there's no power. No, no, no, no, sir.
[53:16] Speaker 1: Most of the testimonies we record come from casual moments.
[53:21] Speaker 2: Somebody runs into you in the market, you'll say, it
[53:23] Speaker 2: is well. And things change.
[53:27] Speaker 1: I sat with my house, my wife in the house,
[53:30] Speaker 1: when the brother with the sister came and complained they
[53:33] Speaker 1: rejected him from the football club. Go!
[53:37] Speaker 2: Divine intervention.
[53:38] Speaker 1: 48 hours later, the same coach called him. Ogasa, I
[53:42] Speaker 1: didn't come from prayer. You need different dimensions of power
[53:47] Speaker 1: to be relevant. Otherwise, you will end up a religious
[53:51] Speaker 1: man who will only manifest power in the church service.
[53:57] Speaker 1: But for you to walk in power all the time,
[54:00] Speaker 1: you need to know the different dimensions or indicators of
[54:04] Speaker 1: power in scripture. And purity is one of it. There
[54:07] Speaker 1: are certain powers you will never have until you live
[54:10] Speaker 1: a pure life. Don't let anybody deceive you. He said,
[54:13] Speaker 1: who shall stand upon the mountains of God? Who shall
[54:17] Speaker 1: stand upon his holy heath? He said, it's him that
[54:19] Speaker 1: is of a pure heart. Of a pure heart.
[54:23] Speaker 2: Who has not lifted his soul in vanity.
[54:27] Speaker 1: So you'll find men wielding powers in the courts of God.
[54:31] Speaker 1: Purity is defining it. And there are different things that
[54:36] Speaker 1: provoke power. But quickly, let's look at the powers of purity.
[54:40] Speaker 1: Number one, purity grants access and sustenance of God's presence.
[54:51] Speaker 1: Find people who always carry tangible dimension of God's presence.
[54:55] Speaker 1: Amongst other things, purity is there. Purity is not the
[54:59] Speaker 1: only thing. Humility sponsors it. Obedience sponsors it. He said,
[55:04] Speaker 1: if you obey me, I and my father will come
[55:05] Speaker 1: and make our house with you.
[55:07] Speaker 2: It's the him that is humble. It's the God who
[55:09] Speaker 2: will shower grace.
[55:10] Speaker 1: Who should I look upon? It's the man that is
[55:12] Speaker 1: of a contrite heart and of a broken spirit. So, humility, obedience,
[55:16] Speaker 1: but purity also sponsors. provokes presence. If you want to
[55:20] Speaker 1: carry God's presence, be pure sir. Live a holy life. I,
[55:25] Speaker 1: oh Lord, am of a purer eyes. My eyes cannot
[55:28] Speaker 1: behold iniquity. You can't move around with iniquity and expect.
[55:34] Speaker 2: God's presence to validate you.
[55:37] Speaker 1: That's why today, men of God are looking for all
[55:39] Speaker 1: kinds of things to validate them. In the days of
[55:42] Speaker 1: the fathers, you didn't need to snap a picture with
[55:45] Speaker 1: somebody to have validation. When they walk into a city,
[55:49] Speaker 1: they came with a cloud. God himself is the one
[55:53] Speaker 1: who announces them. How do you think this man took
[55:55] Speaker 1: the word without internet? Without telephone? How did they take
[56:00] Speaker 1: the word? There was something they carried. When Moses came
[56:04] Speaker 1: to the courts of Pharaoh, there was no credentia. God
[56:08] Speaker 1: was his credentia. The God of the Hebrew have sent me.
[56:11] Speaker 1: Let my people go that they may starve me.
[56:13] Speaker 2: Who is he?
[56:14] Speaker 1: Don't worry, he will come here.
[56:15] Speaker 2: I didn't come with theology, but I came with presence.
[56:18] Speaker 2: I may not have theology.
[56:20] Speaker 3: But I have presence. I have presence.
[56:22] Speaker 1: And the guy dropped his rod. And his rod became
[56:25] Speaker 1: a serpent. The Egyptian wise men did it. Moses' rod
[56:28] Speaker 1: swallowed their own. And as you study that story, you
[56:32] Speaker 1: see that the presence kept growing. After the tenth plague,
[56:36] Speaker 1: the presence became Shekinah. That which was invisible became visible.
[56:42] Speaker 1: And when they went out, the Bible says God went
[56:45] Speaker 1: before them as a pillar of cloud by day and
[56:48] Speaker 1: as a pillar of fire by night. The presence had
[56:51] Speaker 1: built up, had built up upon the man until he
[56:55] Speaker 1: became a cloud. We are shouting, singing, God's presence is
[57:02] Speaker 1: not there because our garments are not pure. Something is
[57:05] Speaker 1: wrong with our being.
[57:13] Speaker 2: Blessed are the pure in heart.
[57:15] Speaker 1: I quoted already Matthew 5 verse 8. They are the
[57:18] Speaker 1: ones who see God. Who stands. Who is he that stands.
[57:23] Speaker 1: In the mountains of God.
[57:25] Speaker 2: Psalm 24.
[57:27] Speaker 1: Verse 3 to 5.
[57:29] Speaker 2: Who stands upon his holy heath.
[57:32] Speaker 1: Is the man that is of a pure heart.
[57:34] Speaker 2: His hands are clean. He has not lifted his soul
[57:37] Speaker 2: in vanity.
[57:38] Speaker 1: You find people who carry God's presence in a sustained manner. Check.
[57:45] Speaker 1: There is something they are doing with grace to keep
[57:47] Speaker 1: their garments pure. We lack God's presence. And when you
[57:52] Speaker 1: lack God's presence, you will suffer.
[57:55] Speaker 2: You will suffer.
[57:57] Speaker 1: Your Christianity will be bedeviled with a lot of crises
[58:01] Speaker 1: that you can't resolve. What did Moses have? All Moses
[58:05] Speaker 1: carried that made him shut down Egypt. Walked through the
[58:09] Speaker 1: Sinai desert. Entered the promised land was God's presence. The
[58:13] Speaker 1: Bible said their shoe grew with them. Their garments did.
[58:16] Speaker 2: Not wax old.
[58:17] Speaker 1: That means a man who carries God's presence has abundance.
[58:21] Speaker 1: He's made the rebuked kings.
[58:23] Speaker 2: For their sakes.
[58:24] Speaker 1: Talks not to anointed. Do my prophets no harm. Nobody
[58:28] Speaker 1: could fight them. God's presence. And you need to read
[58:32] Speaker 1: the Bible to know the people they battled with. The
[58:35] Speaker 1: Bible spoke of Sihon, the king of the Amorite. It
[58:38] Speaker 1: spoke of Og, the king of Bashan. Their warriors were
[58:41] Speaker 1: bitly men. A man could stand up and he looked
[58:44] Speaker 1: like a bear.
[58:46] Speaker 3: Some of them had heads like tigers.
[58:48] Speaker 2: Those were the people they were fighting. There was no
[58:51] Speaker 2: military training.
[58:53] Speaker 1: They were not even coordinated because they were slaves of
[58:56] Speaker 1: their lives. But without military intelligence, without economic power, they
[59:00] Speaker 1: went with the Shekinah. Nations opened. Armies were shot down.
[59:05] Speaker 1: Provinces came. Even the rock gave them water.
[59:08] Speaker 3: What are you talking? The rock.
[59:11] Speaker 1: The Bible said he claimed the rock also and the
[59:14] Speaker 1: waters gushed out in the desert. How can water come
[59:18] Speaker 1: in the desert? When they needed food, manna came from heaven.
[59:22] Speaker 1: And they told Moses, we want to eat meat. Moses said,
[59:25] Speaker 1: why are you tempting God?
[59:26] Speaker 3: God said, no, tell them.
[59:28] Speaker 1: To go forward.
[59:29] Speaker 2: Even in the desert, meat can come.
[59:31] Speaker 3: And the Bible said he commanded the east wind.
[59:34] Speaker 1: And he brought quails. Birds were sleeping on birds. So
[59:37] Speaker 1: there was meat. There was food. There was protection. There
[59:40] Speaker 1: was provision.
[59:41] Speaker 3: Because of the presence.
[59:49] Speaker 1: He suffered no man to do them harm. He gave
[59:52] Speaker 1: a commandment in the spirit. Touch not my anointed. Do
[59:56] Speaker 1: my prophets no harm. They carried the presence. How have
[1:00:00] Speaker 1: we become so helpless? How have we become so powerless?
[1:00:04] Speaker 1: How have we become so useless? Because there's no presence.
[1:00:09] Speaker 1: They had to look for men to cause them to
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: be able to fight them.
[1:00:14] Speaker 2: Because they were too powerful. And they were using stones.
[1:00:20] Speaker 1: He said, the Lord is my banner. When they went
[1:00:23] Speaker 1: to fight, all Moses needed to do was to put
[1:00:25] Speaker 1: his hand up. The Lord is my banner.
[1:00:28] Speaker 3: There was an.
[1:00:28] Speaker 2: Atmosphere over these people.
[1:00:32] Speaker 1: The Bible said, Moses sent soldiers out. When they returned,
[1:00:37] Speaker 1: more than 18 battalions. He said, no man was missing.
[1:00:40] Speaker 3: Not one.
[1:00:41] Speaker 1: Not one man was missing. They fought wars without casualties.
[1:00:48] Speaker 1: I prophesy over someone. As you make up your mind
[1:00:51] Speaker 1: to live pure. The presence of God will tabernacle over you.
[1:00:55] Speaker 1: I say the presence of God with tabernacle over you.
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: It's a hymn that dwelleth in the secret place of
[1:01:01] Speaker 1: the most high.
[1:01:02] Speaker 3: Abide under the shadow.
[1:01:03] Speaker 1: Of the almighty. It shall say of his God. It's
[1:01:06] Speaker 1: my refuge and my fortress. My God in whom I
[1:01:09] Speaker 1: will trust. It shall be my shield and my partner.
[1:01:12] Speaker 1: See a thousand shall fall by your side. Ten thousand
[1:01:15] Speaker 1: by your right hand.
[1:01:16] Speaker 3: It shall not come near you.
[1:01:18] Speaker 2: I decree and declare.
[1:01:19] Speaker 1: The presence of God is your banner.
[1:01:28] Speaker 2: Sit down for a moment. The presence.
[1:01:40] Speaker 1: Orchestrated by purity.
[1:01:42] Speaker 2: You think Satan is not smart?
[1:01:46] Speaker 1: He saw that Job was hedged by God on every side.
[1:01:50] Speaker 1: Nothing could harm him. And he went to provoke the guy.
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: It didn't work.
[1:01:58] Speaker 1: Use his wife. Cause God. If you break the head,
[1:02:03] Speaker 1: the serpent will bite. Most of us use impurity to
[1:02:08] Speaker 1: break the head. Your business would have been intact until
[1:02:12] Speaker 1: you became creative about carrying women to go and sleep
[1:02:16] Speaker 1: with them in another country. Your family would have remained
[1:02:20] Speaker 1: intact until you deployed intelligence on how to.
[1:02:25] Speaker 2: Change figures in the office.
[1:02:27] Speaker 1: And you didn't know what you were doing.
[1:02:29] Speaker 2: Was breaking the head.
[1:02:30] Speaker 1: And then the glory that covered your life. That brought protection.
[1:02:34] Speaker 1: That brought honor. Suddenly lifts.
[1:02:37] Speaker 2: And you discover you are naked. Was that not the
[1:02:40] Speaker 2: case of Adam?
[1:02:42] Speaker 1: Carried God's glory. Carried God's presence. Until he rebelled. Power
[1:02:49] Speaker 1: of purity. Number two. It attracts favor. Daniel chapter 1
[1:02:54] Speaker 1: verse 8 to 9. It's not everything you achieve by
[1:03:01] Speaker 1: men laying hands on you. There are certain things that
[1:03:04] Speaker 1: principles provoke. But Daniel proposed in his heart that he
[1:03:13] Speaker 1: will not defy himself with the portion of the king's
[1:03:17] Speaker 1: meat nor the wine which they drank.
[1:03:20] Speaker 3: Therefore, he requested of.
[1:03:22] Speaker 1: The eunuch that he might not defy himself. See the
[1:03:26] Speaker 1: implication on the next verse. Now God brought Daniel into
[1:03:30] Speaker 1: favor and tender love with the eunuch.
[1:03:35] Speaker 3: You refuse defilement.
[1:03:37] Speaker 2: It will look like a disadvantage for a while.
[1:03:39] Speaker 1: But over time, what favor we provoke will be more
[1:03:43] Speaker 1: than what you would have achieved for yourself using human intelligence.
[1:03:48] Speaker 2: Genesis 39 verse 2 to 9. Look at Joseph. The
[1:03:53] Speaker 2: Bible said in.
[1:03:54] Speaker 1: Romans 15 verse 4, the things that were written aforetime,
[1:03:59] Speaker 1: they were written for our learning. So that we through
[1:04:02] Speaker 1: patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Look
[1:04:06] Speaker 1: at the things written aforetime. And the Lord was with Joseph.
[1:04:11] Speaker 1: You will see why God was with Joseph. It was purity.
[1:04:17] Speaker 1: And he was a prosperous man. And he was in
[1:04:20] Speaker 1: the house of his master the Egyptian. So even slaves
[1:04:23] Speaker 1: can prosper. If God is with them. And his master saw.
[1:04:32] Speaker 1: That the Lord was with him. And that the Lord.
[1:04:35] Speaker 1: Has made all that he did. To prosper in his hands.
[1:04:39] Speaker 1: Because of God's presence. He was promoted.
[1:04:43] Speaker 2: And Joseph found grace. Which is also favor. In the sight.
[1:04:48] Speaker 2: In his sight.
[1:04:50] Speaker 1: And he served him. And he made him overseer. Over
[1:04:54] Speaker 1: his house. In all that is his house. He put
[1:04:58] Speaker 1: in his hand. But why did he have this kind
[1:05:01] Speaker 1: of favor? You will see that in verse 9. And
[1:05:05] Speaker 1: it came to pass. From that time. He was made
[1:05:08] Speaker 1: overseer in his house. And over all that he had.
[1:05:12] Speaker 1: That the Lord blessed the Egyptians house. For Joseph's sake.
[1:05:16] Speaker 2: And the blessings of the Lord was upon all that he.
[1:05:18] Speaker 1: Had in his house and in the field. And he
[1:05:23] Speaker 1: left all that he had in Joseph's hand. And he
[1:05:28] Speaker 1: knew not what he had save the bread which he ate.
[1:05:32] Speaker 1: And Joseph was a goodly person and well favored. So
[1:05:35] Speaker 1: the master didn't even know his wealth. All he knew
[1:05:38] Speaker 1: was food was there to eat. Joseph was in charge
[1:05:41] Speaker 1: of everything. And he said.
[1:05:42] Speaker 2: Joseph was well favored.
[1:05:45] Speaker 1: He was favored to the degree that he was promoted
[1:05:47] Speaker 1: to be an overseer. But what was at the foundation?
[1:05:51] Speaker 1: We will now see why he was so favored. Verse
[1:05:54] Speaker 1: 8 and 9. Go to verse 7.
[1:06:05] Speaker 4: Ah.
[1:06:09] Speaker 1: Ah. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[1:06:18] Speaker 4: Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[1:06:25] Speaker 5: Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[1:06:34] Speaker 6: Oh, oh, oh, oh.
[1:06:46] Speaker 1: And it came to pass after these things that his
[1:06:49] Speaker 1: master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph and said, lie
[1:06:55] Speaker 1: with me. This is where we discovered the secret of
[1:07:00] Speaker 1: Joseph's favor and power. He said, but he refused.
[1:07:07] Speaker 2: I wish God will raise a generation.
[1:07:09] Speaker 1: Of people that can refuse. And he received favor like
[1:07:15] Speaker 1: never before. You will see divine presence. The problem we
[1:07:21] Speaker 1: have is that we can't refuse. And in our generation,
[1:07:26] Speaker 1: they don't even entice us. We are the one who
[1:07:29] Speaker 1: draw them to us. In the name of seeking favor.
[1:07:38] Speaker 1: Favor that does not come from God. He refused and
[1:07:43] Speaker 1: said unto his master's wife, Behold, My master wanted not
[1:07:49] Speaker 1: what is with me in the house. And he had
[1:07:53] Speaker 1: committed all that he had to my hands.
[1:07:58] Speaker 2: He doesn't even know what he has. All that he
[1:08:00] Speaker 2: has is in my care. I'm the one who tells
[1:08:03] Speaker 2: him his worth.
[1:08:06] Speaker 1: He said, therefore, if none greater in this house than I,
[1:08:12] Speaker 1: neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee,
[1:08:15] Speaker 1: because thou art his wife. How then can I do
[1:08:20] Speaker 1: this great wickedness and sin against God?
[1:08:25] Speaker 2: He was a pure man.
[1:08:29] Speaker 1: The woman accused him in an undeniable fashion because he
[1:08:33] Speaker 1: cut his shirt. It looked as if purity was a disadvantage.
[1:08:40] Speaker 1: And the guy spent two years in prison. But what
[1:08:43] Speaker 1: we saw eventually was that those two years Took him
[1:08:47] Speaker 1: where his lifetime outside purity would never have taken him.
[1:08:53] Speaker 1: The Bible said until the time that his word came.
[1:08:56] Speaker 1: It said the word of the Lord tried him. The
[1:08:58] Speaker 1: king sent for to lose him. even the ruler of
[1:09:01] Speaker 1: the people he made him lord of his house he
[1:09:04] Speaker 1: had gone beyond Potiphar where God took him to even
[1:09:08] Speaker 1: Potiphar couldn't approach you are not losing by being pure
[1:09:16] Speaker 1: You stand your ground for God. And see the testimonies
[1:09:20] Speaker 1: your life will command. Purity attracts favor. And not just favor.
[1:09:26] Speaker 1: Favor that brings promotion. Daniel was promoted. Joseph was promoted.
[1:09:33] Speaker 1: You will be promoted. Number three. Purity releases spiritual power
[1:09:44] Speaker 1: and authority. You saw already. 2 Timothy 2.21 If any
[1:09:50] Speaker 1: man purges himself. Not if an apostle.
[1:09:55] Speaker 3: Not if a prophet.
[1:09:57] Speaker 2: It's not about an office. You can occupy an office.
[1:10:01] Speaker 2: If you are not pure.
[1:10:02] Speaker 1: You will face reproach.
[1:10:05] Speaker 3: If a man therefore.
[1:10:07] Speaker 1: Purges himself. From these things. He shall be a vessel
[1:10:12] Speaker 1: to honor. Sanctified. And meet for the master's use. Prepared.
[1:10:18] Speaker 1: For every good works. Prepared. For every good works. That's authority.
[1:10:27] Speaker 2: I showed you already.
[1:10:30] Speaker 1: Psalm 24 verse 3 to 5. Who shall stand. In
[1:10:34] Speaker 1: the mountains of God. Who shall stand upon his holy heels.
[1:10:40] Speaker 2: Who is that person? It's not an apostle. It's not
[1:10:44] Speaker 2: a prophet.
[1:10:46] Speaker 1: It is him that is of a clean hands. Of
[1:10:49] Speaker 1: a pure heart. Who has not lifted his soul in vanity.
[1:10:53] Speaker 1: Nor sworn deceitfully. You will wield power if you live pure.
[1:11:00] Speaker 1: God is not a respecter of presence.
[1:11:03] Speaker 2: You live pure. You receive power. And power is not
[1:11:07] Speaker 2: just for preaching.
[1:11:11] Speaker 1: The covering that your children requires is sponsored by power.
[1:11:16] Speaker 1: The prosperity that your family needs is sponsored by power.
[1:11:22] Speaker 1: The preservation that you require is sponsored by power. Not self-power.
[1:11:28] Speaker 1: Power of the spirit. Because God is not doing business
[1:11:33] Speaker 1: with your power. He's doing business with the power of
[1:11:35] Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost. That's why he says it's not by
[1:11:37] Speaker 1: power or by might.
[1:11:39] Speaker 2: So it's not by what you have. It's by the spirit.
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: But the way you access spirit power Is.
[1:11:45] Speaker 1: By walking pure.
[1:11:48] Speaker 2: Don't let any Satan deceive you. That if you fall.
[1:11:52] Speaker 2: You ask for forgiveness. You will be forgiven.
[1:11:55] Speaker 3: Yes you will.
[1:11:55] Speaker 2: But you will remain a child.
[1:11:57] Speaker 1: And the earth.
[1:11:59] Speaker 2: That remains a child. Is not different from a servant.
[1:12:04] Speaker 3: Fight.
[1:12:06] Speaker 1: To live holy.
[1:12:10] Speaker 2: The power of purity.
[1:12:13] Speaker 1: Number one. It provokes access and sustenance of divine presence.
[1:12:20] Speaker 1: Number two, it attracts divine favor that brings promotion. Number three,
[1:12:27] Speaker 1: it releases spiritual power and authority. Number four, it sharpens
[1:12:35] Speaker 1: spiritual discernment. When a man does not live pure, everything
[1:12:41] Speaker 1: he sees is contaminated. So he can't discern anymore. He
[1:12:46] Speaker 1: can't separate between what is good or bad. The Bible
[1:12:51] Speaker 1: said in Titus 1.15 it said to the pure all
[1:12:57] Speaker 1: things are pure. So a pure man can see from
[1:13:02] Speaker 1: the name of God.
[1:13:05] Speaker 2: To the pure all things are pure.
[1:13:09] Speaker 1: But to them that are defied are non-believing not impure.
[1:13:14] Speaker 2: Even their mind and conscience is defiled.
[1:13:17] Speaker 1: So they can't walk in discernment. You'll find Christians who
[1:13:20] Speaker 1: are confused every day. They can't pick God's thoughts. They
[1:13:24] Speaker 1: can't pick God's position. It's because their inner man is defiled.
[1:13:29] Speaker 1: And so the lenses to see is corrupt. That's why
[1:13:34] Speaker 1: they keep pursuing prophets everywhere from mountain to forest to
[1:13:40] Speaker 1: bush to river. Whereas Jesus said, my sheep heareth my voice.
[1:13:47] Speaker 1: How come you can't hear? Because you can't see God.
[1:13:51] Speaker 1: It's those who are pure in heart that can see God.
[1:13:54] Speaker 1: They are the ones who can discern God's perspective.
[1:14:00] Speaker 2: He says, strong with belong to them.
[1:14:03] Speaker 1: Hebrews 5.14 Who by reason of use have exercised their senses.
[1:14:11] Speaker 1: I'm giving you strong with here. Exercise their senses to
[1:14:17] Speaker 1: discern between good and evil. You need discernment. I tell you,
[1:14:25] Speaker 1: your life is a catalogue of decisions. Nothing is more
[1:14:32] Speaker 1: numerous in your life than decisions. Every ladder is a decision.
[1:14:40] Speaker 1: And so those who lack discernment, They are done for
[1:14:44] Speaker 1: in life. But it takes purity to walk in discernment.
[1:14:54] Speaker 1: Number five. Purity impacts boldness. And you need boldness to
[1:15:01] Speaker 1: get ahead in life. Even the apostles of Jesus, when
[1:15:05] Speaker 1: they were beaten and flogged, And their confidence was depleted.
[1:15:10] Speaker 1: They returned back to the posture of the upper room.
[1:15:13] Speaker 1: The Bible said they went to their own company. Locked
[1:15:16] Speaker 1: the door and hid themselves. That means one of the propellers.
[1:15:21] Speaker 1: Of that concrete was goodness.
[1:15:23] Speaker 2: And when they prayed. That's one thing God gave them.
[1:15:27] Speaker 1: In Acts 4 verse 31. When they had prayed. They
[1:15:32] Speaker 1: were filled with the spirit. The place where they were
[1:15:35] Speaker 1: was shaking. And the Lord gave them the power to
[1:15:41] Speaker 1: speak the word with boldness. And when boldness came, verse 33,
[1:15:47] Speaker 1: with great power, God gave them witness of the resurrection
[1:15:52] Speaker 1: of Jesus. And great grace was upon them. Those who
[1:15:56] Speaker 1: don't have boldness, they can't advance God's kingdom. Prayer, like
[1:16:01] Speaker 1: you have seen, sponsors boldness. But it's not only prayer
[1:16:04] Speaker 1: that sponsors boldness. Purity also sponsors boldness. Proverbs 28 verse
[1:16:10] Speaker 1: 1 says, The righteous is as bold as a lion.
[1:16:15] Speaker 1: 1 John 3 verse 21-22 If our heart condemns us not,
[1:16:24] Speaker 1: then have we confidence. The moment you lose your purity
[1:16:30] Speaker 1: and your heart condemns you, you lose your boldness. And
[1:16:34] Speaker 1: the Bible says, cast not away your confidence, for it
[1:16:39] Speaker 1: has what?
[1:16:40] Speaker 2: A great recompense of reward.
[1:16:45] Speaker 1: So if you want the reward that boldness brings, keep
[1:16:48] Speaker 1: your garments pure.
[1:16:51] Speaker 2: Some of the things we say here, do you think we.
[1:16:53] Speaker 3: Can say them?
[1:16:55] Speaker 2: If there's any sister here that I send a message,
[1:16:57] Speaker 2: let's meet in a hotel.
[1:17:00] Speaker 1: Can I say what I'm saying? You can't have the audacity, sir.
[1:17:07] Speaker 1: So it's not about revelation only. It's about boldness that
[1:17:12] Speaker 1: is born from purity.
[1:17:16] Speaker 2: See many preachers, every day they say, let's forbeer, let's forbeer.
[1:17:21] Speaker 1: They are careful so that their own canker worms are
[1:17:23] Speaker 1: not open. We are losing authority even from the altar.
[1:17:34] Speaker 1: Because holy men are few. We don't have pure vessels anymore.
[1:17:40] Speaker 1: How many people can challenge government? How dare you? You
[1:17:45] Speaker 1: know the conversation you had with them behind the curtain.
[1:17:48] Speaker 1: So you can't come here and talk to them.
[1:17:52] Speaker 3: Sir.
[1:17:52] Speaker 1: So when we gather, all we say is let's pray
[1:17:55] Speaker 1: for government. No, we don't only pray for government. There
[1:17:57] Speaker 1: is a time when we speak truth to power. But
[1:18:00] Speaker 1: you can't speak truth to power if you are compromised.
[1:18:06] Speaker 1: So we are losing ground because we lack purity. I
[1:18:10] Speaker 1: believe in praying for those in power. We do. But
[1:18:15] Speaker 1: there is a time when you call it paid is paid.
[1:18:18] Speaker 1: You tell truth to power. And if you have nothing
[1:18:22] Speaker 1: from them, they can't do anything. He said the prince
[1:18:25] Speaker 1: of this world come to me and find that nothing.
[1:18:29] Speaker 1: So I can speak with audacity because my garments are pure.
[1:18:33] Speaker 1: That's Jesus' testimony. Number six, purity prepares and opens you
[1:18:47] Speaker 1: up to divine visitation. Again I show you. Matthew 5
[1:18:54] Speaker 1: verse 8. They pure in heart see God. So they
[1:18:58] Speaker 1: receive visitations. And habitation. With God.
[1:19:05] Speaker 2: In Psalm 15 verse 1 to 2.
[1:19:06] Speaker 1: He said Lord. Who shall abide in that tabernacle. He
[1:19:10] Speaker 1: said it is him that walketh uprightly. Him that walketh uprightly.
[1:19:17] Speaker 1: Don't you know that when corruption comes. Encounters shut down.
[1:19:22] Speaker 1: In 1 Samuel 3 from verse 1.
[1:19:24] Speaker 2: In those days. The voice of the Lord was cast.
[1:19:28] Speaker 2: There were no open visions.
[1:19:31] Speaker 1: And the eerie lamp in the temple had gone out. Why?
[1:19:34] Speaker 1: Hophini and Phinehas. Were corrupting and defiling the order. You
[1:19:41] Speaker 1: can't have encounters, divine visitations, where there's no purity. Those
[1:19:47] Speaker 1: of you listening to me, ask yourself, the days when
[1:19:50] Speaker 1: you're burnt with fire, when a month passed before you
[1:19:53] Speaker 1: have an encounter, how come all your encounters were five
[1:19:57] Speaker 1: years ago? Something has gone wrong. God kept visiting Adam
[1:20:04] Speaker 1: in the garden until he rebelled. And he was driven
[1:20:08] Speaker 1: from the garden. You'll cut off encounters when you stain
[1:20:13] Speaker 1: your garment with defilement. Finally, purity is a weapon against Satan.
[1:20:22] Speaker 1: Believe me, Satan fears men who walk pure. It's not
[1:20:29] Speaker 1: just about screaming Jesus, Jesus. Lift up your head so
[1:20:35] Speaker 1: he gets it. Be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors,
[1:20:39] Speaker 1: that the King of glory might come in. Who is
[1:20:41] Speaker 1: the King of glory? When you meet a principality, when
[1:20:45] Speaker 1: you shout Jesus, he will say, who are you? Because
[1:20:48] Speaker 1: even Jesus, he met him.
[1:20:51] Speaker 2: After fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.
[1:20:54] Speaker 1: Because a principality is not a demon. You don't cast
[1:20:58] Speaker 1: him out. You wrestle with him. And you can't wrestle
[1:21:01] Speaker 1: with him when you are giving him a place. That's
[1:21:02] Speaker 1: why Paul said, give him no place to the devil.
[1:21:07] Speaker 1: Jesus said. In John 14 30. The prince of this world.
[1:21:12] Speaker 1: Come back to me. Find that nothing. He said when
[1:21:15] Speaker 1: your obedience is complete. Then you avenge on that disobedience.
[1:21:22] Speaker 1: Putting on the whole armor of God. Where which you
[1:21:25] Speaker 1: are able to withstand. All the wise of the devil.
[1:21:29] Speaker 1: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Against principalities
[1:21:32] Speaker 1: and powers. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world.
[1:21:36] Speaker 1: And against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. But to do that,
[1:21:40] Speaker 1: we must put on. He didn't say the Holy Ghost
[1:21:43] Speaker 1: will put on you.
[1:21:43] Speaker 2: He said you put on.
[1:21:46] Speaker 1: The helmet of salvation. The breastplate of righteousness. The belt
[1:21:51] Speaker 1: of truth. The boot of the readiness of the gospel.
[1:21:54] Speaker 1: The shield of faith. And the sword of the spirit.
[1:21:58] Speaker 2: Many people are carrying remah without breastplate of righteousness.
[1:22:02] Speaker 1: You fornicated yesterday. You are coming to quote Rema. You
[1:22:05] Speaker 1: changed figures in the office yesterday. You are coming to
[1:22:07] Speaker 1: quote Rema. Which Rema is that? Your chest is empty.
[1:22:11] Speaker 1: Before you stretch the sword, the arrow will enter you.
[1:22:18] Speaker 1: So purity has powers. And the first is access and
[1:22:24] Speaker 1: sustenance of divine presence. The second is attraction of divine
[1:22:29] Speaker 1: favor that brings promotion. Favor is not something you should
[1:22:34] Speaker 1: pray for for a whole year sir.
[1:22:37] Speaker 2: That's the way you live your life that favor will
[1:22:39] Speaker 2: pursue you.
[1:22:41] Speaker 1: The third is spiritual power and authority. The fourth is
[1:22:47] Speaker 1: sharpened discernment. You can't be confused. No confused man exercises dominion.
[1:22:53] Speaker 1: Dominion is for people who have precision. The fifth is
[1:23:01] Speaker 1: in boldness and audacity to wield the power of god
[1:23:06] Speaker 1: the sixth is unending divine visitations that results in divine
[1:23:13] Speaker 1: habitation and the seventh is weapons not just to fight
[1:23:20] Speaker 1: but to withstand the wise of the devil this is
[1:23:24] Speaker 1: why every christian must build purity we have reduced christianity
[1:23:30] Speaker 1: to The covering of pastor. Pastor said. Pastor let hands.
[1:23:36] Speaker 1: I'm under this covering. You are joking oh. Hope you
[1:23:39] Speaker 1: know that pastor too has covering.
[1:23:44] Speaker 3: And a pastor's.
[1:23:45] Speaker 1: Covering is only a man. Hope you know that man
[1:23:47] Speaker 1: too have covering. And hope when you trace it. You
[1:23:50] Speaker 1: trace it to a man who no longer has a
[1:23:52] Speaker 1: man's covering. So there are coverings that are superior to
[1:23:57] Speaker 1: man's covering. I believe in man's covering. Paul said, when
[1:24:01] Speaker 1: I leave you, grievous wolves will come. That means if
[1:24:03] Speaker 1: he's dead, they won't come. So I'm not speaking against covering.
[1:24:07] Speaker 1: He said, obey them that have rule over you. They
[1:24:09] Speaker 1: watch over your soul. Hebrews 13, 17. I'm not talking
[1:24:13] Speaker 1: against covering. But I am saying, no man can be
[1:24:17] Speaker 1: your Jesus. So you need to know what to do
[1:24:21] Speaker 1: with the word of God to live in safety.
[1:24:27] Speaker 2: Otherwise, It will become human worship before you realize it.
[1:24:33] Speaker 1: That's why today men will tell people they are finished
[1:24:36] Speaker 1: because they are no longer connected to them. Okay? Where
[1:24:39] Speaker 1: is the blood of Jesus? Where is the word of God?
[1:24:42] Speaker 1: Where is the Holy Spirit? You connect with me today
[1:24:46] Speaker 1: because God permitted it. And the day God says it's over,
[1:24:50] Speaker 1: there's nothing.
[1:24:51] Speaker 2: I can do to you.
[1:24:53] Speaker 1: Witchcraft has taken over the church. And the reason is
[1:24:56] Speaker 1: because we don't have men that have the word We
[1:25:00] Speaker 1: don't have men. Babies everywhere. It says strong meat belongs
[1:25:05] Speaker 1: to them. Who by reason of use. Have exercised their senses.
[1:25:10] Speaker 1: To discern. Good and evil. You need to fight for purity.
[1:25:17] Speaker 1: And if you are living in iniquity. You need to
[1:25:20] Speaker 1: repent tonight. Rededicate yourself. Because you are taking a risk.
[1:25:26] Speaker 1: There is a day of trouble. The Bible speaks of
[1:25:31] Speaker 1: the evil day. That day comes for everybody. But those
[1:25:37] Speaker 1: of us who know what to do, that day becomes
[1:25:39] Speaker 1: the day of testimony. Because every time we testify, we
[1:25:44] Speaker 1: break the attack of Satan.
[1:25:50] Speaker 2: How then do you develop purity?
[1:25:54] Speaker 1: Quickly, as I round up. Number one, be properly born again.
[1:26:00] Speaker 1: That's the foundation of purity. You receive God's nature. You
[1:26:04] Speaker 1: receive the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost. You receive
[1:26:08] Speaker 1: the grace of Jesus. These are the things you trade
[1:26:11] Speaker 1: with as you grow in purity. But you can't have
[1:26:14] Speaker 1: them until you are born again. Ezekiel 36, 26. A
[1:26:19] Speaker 1: new heart will I give you. And a new spirit,
[1:26:24] Speaker 1: my God, will I put within you. And I will
[1:26:29] Speaker 1: take away the stony heart out of the flesh. And
[1:26:34] Speaker 1: I will give you an heart of flesh. So the
[1:26:40] Speaker 1: protocol begins with receiving a new nature. But that new
[1:26:44] Speaker 1: nature cannot happen except you come into Christ. For whoever
[1:26:49] Speaker 1: is in Christ Jesus is the new creature. All things
[1:26:53] Speaker 1: are passed away. 2 Corinthians 5.17 Behold! all things have
[1:26:58] Speaker 1: become new now are we the sons of god now
[1:27:05] Speaker 1: are we not later for as many as received him
[1:27:09] Speaker 1: to them he gave the power to become the sons
[1:27:14] Speaker 1: of god john 1 12. so the beginning of purity
[1:27:18] Speaker 1: is to receive christ then when you receive christ You
[1:27:23] Speaker 1: trade with Christ.
[1:27:24] Speaker 2: You trade with the Holy Ghost. You trade with the world.
[1:27:28] Speaker 2: You trade with grace.
[1:27:29] Speaker 1: To live pure. To live pure. So number two. To
[1:27:37] Speaker 1: live pure. Fill your heart with the word. Fill it.
[1:27:49] Speaker 1: If the content of your heart is That determines your action.
[1:27:53] Speaker 1: And the direction of your life.
[1:27:54] Speaker 5: Psalm 119.
[1:28:00] Speaker 1: Verse 9 and 11. How then shall a young man
[1:28:03] Speaker 1: keep his ways? By taking heed. Unto thy word.
[1:28:08] Speaker 2: He said thy word have I put in my heart.
[1:28:12] Speaker 1: That I. Might not sin against you. In John 15
[1:28:16] Speaker 1: verse 3. He said the worst you have heard. He
[1:28:20] Speaker 1: said they have cleansed you. They purify you. The world
[1:28:28] Speaker 1: was like fire locked up in my bones.
[1:28:33] Speaker 2: You can't live pure without the water.
[1:28:37] Speaker 1: The water is the force within you that stimulates purity.
[1:28:45] Speaker 2: You don't have it you will struggle and your will
[1:28:47] Speaker 2: will be overwhelmed.
[1:28:51] Speaker 1: People want to live pure exercising their will they can't
[1:28:55] Speaker 1: it's a spiritual thing It's a spiritual thing. So you
[1:29:01] Speaker 1: need the word to energize you. You saturate yourself with
[1:29:06] Speaker 1: the word and see how lost we die.
[1:29:10] Speaker 2: Appetites we change. That's what the word does.
[1:29:14] Speaker 1: For we all with unveiled faces beholding as in the
[1:29:17] Speaker 1: glass the glory of the Lord we are changed.
[1:29:21] Speaker 2: You are beholding that glory in the word.
[1:29:24] Speaker 1: From glory to glory even as by the spirit. 2
[1:29:27] Speaker 1: Corinthians 3.18. So you can't live pure if you are
[1:29:31] Speaker 1: not full of the word. The Bible says carry with
[1:29:33] Speaker 1: you words. Carry it.
[1:29:38] Speaker 2: Many Christians, they don't know the word.
[1:29:41] Speaker 1: They say somewhere that the Bible does not say everything
[1:29:45] Speaker 1: is a question.
[1:29:47] Speaker 2: And so they stop and beguide.
[1:29:48] Speaker 1: Them like he did Eve. Number three. How do you
[1:29:55] Speaker 1: cultivate purity? By cultivating intimacy. With the Holy Ghost. Galatians.
[1:30:06] Speaker 2: 5.16. Is a walk.
[1:30:11] Speaker 1: In the spirit.
[1:30:13] Speaker 2: And you will not fulfill.
[1:30:15] Speaker 1: The lust of the flesh. Romans.
[1:30:20] Speaker 3: 8.13.
[1:30:23] Speaker 2: If we live after the flesh. We will die.
[1:30:27] Speaker 1: But if we, through the Spirit, through the Spirit, mortify
[1:30:32] Speaker 1: the deeds of the flesh which are lived. These things
[1:30:35] Speaker 1: are possible because it's not your ability. It's the ability
[1:30:38] Speaker 1: of God in you that makes you pure.
[1:30:40] Speaker 2: But you must take advantage. You must yield.
[1:30:45] Speaker 1: So you accept Christ. You choke yourself with the word.
[1:30:50] Speaker 1: Then you yield to the Spirit. And you will see
[1:30:55] Speaker 1: what becomes of your life.
[1:30:58] Speaker 3: Number four.
[1:31:00] Speaker 2: Practice daily repentance.
[1:31:05] Speaker 1: Practice it. Practice it. Daily. 1 John 1.9 says. If
[1:31:18] Speaker 1: we confess our sins. He is faithful and just to
[1:31:21] Speaker 1: cleanse us. From all unrighteousness.
[1:31:26] Speaker 2: Theologians say it.
[1:31:30] Speaker 1: What the Bible is saying here is not necessarily the
[1:31:34] Speaker 1: sins we commit. Because there are sins of commission and
[1:31:42] Speaker 1: there are sins of omission. So if you have to
[1:31:44] Speaker 1: confess your sins, you don't know all your sins. That's
[1:31:48] Speaker 1: not my argument. You know they say Christ was made
[1:31:53] Speaker 1: sin for us. He was made sin. second corinthians 5
[1:32:03] Speaker 1: 21 he was made seen so when he said confess
[1:32:06] Speaker 1: our sin they say if you confess christ because the
[1:32:11] Speaker 1: word used here for confess is the word homologia that
[1:32:16] Speaker 1: means saying what he says but whichever one you tilt
[1:32:21] Speaker 1: to if you say it is seen it means you
[1:32:24] Speaker 1: are turning away from it If you say it's Christ,
[1:32:27] Speaker 1: it means you are turning to him. Both of them
[1:32:29] Speaker 1: is repentance.
[1:32:31] Speaker 2: So if you want to live pure, practice what?
[1:32:34] Speaker 1: Daily repentance. And God will empower you. He said for
[1:32:41] Speaker 1: we have seen abounds. He said grace abounds much more.
[1:32:49] Speaker 1: So you cry for God to purify you. To enable
[1:32:54] Speaker 1: you to turn from your sins. Psalm 51 verse 10.
[1:32:57] Speaker 1: The psalmist cried. Create in me a perfect heart. Don't
[1:33:04] Speaker 1: become relaxed in sin. As everybody is doing it. Even
[1:33:09] Speaker 1: if everybody is doing it.
[1:33:10] Speaker 2: It doesn't justify it.
[1:33:12] Speaker 1: In the days of Noah. Everybody was doing it. He
[1:33:15] Speaker 1: was the only one not doing it. And the Bible
[1:33:17] Speaker 1: said because of him the world was judged. And he
[1:33:20] Speaker 1: was declared righteous. So everybody is doing it. It's not
[1:33:23] Speaker 1: a reason you should do it. Is the more reason
[1:33:26] Speaker 1: why you shouldn't. So that you.
[1:33:29] Speaker 2: Become the light that they see.
[1:33:34] Speaker 1: Number five.
[1:33:36] Speaker 2: Guard your mind. Your senses.
[1:33:41] Speaker 1: And your heart.
[1:33:42] Speaker 3: Guard it.
[1:33:45] Speaker 1: Don't let anybody come sit. And talk seductive things with you.
[1:33:49] Speaker 1: Don't let anybody come sit. And gossip people with you.
[1:33:53] Speaker 3: Don't let it.
[1:33:54] Speaker 2: Anybody come to you and speak evil around you, guard.
[1:34:00] Speaker 1: The Bible said, avoid every appearance of evil. You know
[1:34:05] Speaker 1: why most of us are choked and we can't live here?
[1:34:08] Speaker 1: It's because everything we hear, see and touch communicates evil.
[1:34:14] Speaker 1: So we are begging God to help us but we
[1:34:17] Speaker 1: keep feeding on iniquity. Proverbs 4.23 says, guard your heart
[1:34:22] Speaker 1: with all diligence. He said, out of it are the
[1:34:25] Speaker 1: issues of life. Paul speaking in Romans 2 verse 2.
[1:34:30] Speaker 1: Be not conformed to this world. Be it transformed by
[1:34:35] Speaker 1: the renewing of your mind. Guard yourself. Fight against it.
[1:34:41] Speaker 1: Even if it's your pastor that you see living in sin.
[1:34:44] Speaker 3: Avoid him.
[1:34:46] Speaker 2: Go and pray for God to show you a new
[1:34:48] Speaker 2: place to go worship. If you catch me here.
[1:34:55] Speaker 1: Living in iniquity or impurity, pack your bags and run.
[1:35:01] Speaker 1: Let me go to hell alone. Don't let me take you.
[1:35:05] Speaker 1: Nobody is wanted. So guard your heart. Guard your senses.
[1:35:15] Speaker 1: Guard your mind. Number six. Be deliberate in choosing. Godly friends.
[1:35:25] Speaker 1: And godly environments. 1 Corinthians 15.33 says.
[1:35:31] Speaker 3: Bad company.
[1:35:34] Speaker 1: Corrupts. Good morals. Proverbs 13.20. Him that walketh with the wise.
[1:35:42] Speaker 1: Is wise. And I dare to add. Not to the scripture.
[1:35:46] Speaker 1: But to that line of thought. That he that walks
[1:35:49] Speaker 1: with the foolish. Is foolish. He that walks with a
[1:35:52] Speaker 1: sinner is a sinner. He that walks with a thief
[1:35:55] Speaker 1: is a thief. You may have met them unawares. You
[1:35:59] Speaker 1: may have related with them unawares. When you discover, try
[1:36:02] Speaker 1: to convert them if you can't run. Joseph survived because
[1:36:13] Speaker 1: he fled. If he stayed there long enough, he would
[1:36:17] Speaker 1: have found himself on the bed. He said, I looked
[1:36:21] Speaker 1: through my window and I saw a young man void
[1:36:25] Speaker 1: of understanding. He said, he was going the way of
[1:36:28] Speaker 1: the harlot. He said, for the harlot called him and
[1:36:34] Speaker 1: he said, come, lay with me. My husband has gone
[1:36:37] Speaker 1: on a journey and I have put rubies on the bed. Oh,
[1:36:43] Speaker 1: he said, that man has chosen the way of death.
[1:36:48] Speaker 1: Don't make company with evil people They will corrupt you, sir.
[1:36:55] Speaker 1: If God sends you to them, preach to them. If
[1:36:57] Speaker 1: they don't change, wrong. Number seven. Be accountable and submit
[1:37:06] Speaker 1: yourself to discipleship. James 5.16 says, confess.
[1:37:12] Speaker 2: Your faults one to another.
[1:37:19] Speaker 1: Proverbs 27, 17. Iron, sharpened iron. As a man, the
[1:37:25] Speaker 1: countenance of his friend.
[1:37:29] Speaker 2: Don't be an islander.
[1:37:32] Speaker 3: Have a friend.
[1:37:33] Speaker 2: Have a mentor. Have a leader that you are accountable to.
[1:37:46] Speaker 1: Number eight. Flee Flee.
[1:37:51] Speaker 2: Activities.
[1:37:53] Speaker 1: That are laden with temptations. Don't live where there is temptation.
[1:37:58] Speaker 4: Flee.
[1:37:59] Speaker 1: 2 Timothy 2.22 Flee youthful lust. Genesis 39.12 Joseph fled.
[1:38:09] Speaker 2: If you don't flee. You won't live to tell the story.
[1:38:15] Speaker 4: Flee.
[1:38:20] Speaker 1: And finally, make up your mind to pursue after holiness. Pursue. Pursue.
[1:38:32] Speaker 1: 1 Corinthians 9 verse 27.
[1:38:36] Speaker 2: I beat my body.
[1:38:38] Speaker 1: I bring it under subjection. 1 Peter 1 verse 15.
[1:38:43] Speaker 2: It says, be holy in all manner of conversations.
[1:38:48] Speaker 1: If you don't make up your mind to pursue it,
[1:38:51] Speaker 1: iniquity will pursue after you and it will overshadow you. Tonight,
[1:38:58] Speaker 1: be mindful. I may not lay hands on you. I
[1:39:04] Speaker 1: may not prophesy to you. But if you live pure,
[1:39:10] Speaker 1: you will carry God's presence. If you live pure, you
[1:39:14] Speaker 1: will have favor that will bring promotion. If you live pure, you.
[1:39:20] Speaker 3: Will walk in divine authority.
[1:39:23] Speaker 1: If you live pure, you will function by supernatural discernment.
[1:39:29] Speaker 1: If you live pure, you will war against Satan and
[1:39:32] Speaker 1: you will win. And if you live pure, you will
[1:39:36] Speaker 1: walk in blessings and abundance. These are systems that God
[1:39:41] Speaker 1: has put in place for our benefit. Kingdom success and
[1:39:46] Speaker 1: victory It's not all about lay hands on me.
[1:39:50] Speaker 2: Pray for me. Prophesy to me.
[1:39:53] Speaker 1: There are others that are dependent on your walk and
[1:39:56] Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost. This is one of them.
