[0:00] Speaker 1: Amen.
[0:00] Speaker 2: This is the final session for the apostle Joshua Selman
[0:05] Speaker 2: and I wanted to open your heart to receive. Can
[0:08] Speaker 2: we appreciate the apostle as you come up to minister
[0:11] Speaker 2: in the final section?
[0:13] Speaker 3: Amen.
[0:13] Speaker 4: Thank you.
[0:14] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[0:29] Speaker 5: Hallelujah. Glory to the name of the Lord. And we
[0:39] Speaker 5: thank the Lord for his grace. Thank the Lord for
[0:42] Speaker 5: his faithfulness. This is our final session together. Let's lift
[0:46] Speaker 5: our hands to heaven and ask the Lord to visit
[0:50] Speaker 5: us again.
[0:50] Speaker 3: Is someone thanking the God of heaven? Speak to my heart.
[1:09] Speaker 3: Give me an encounter.
[1:10] Speaker 5: Let grace be deposited upon my spirit man for a
[1:15] Speaker 5: life of exploits. The Bible says for everyone that asketh,
[1:20] Speaker 5: receive it. Someone is asking by faith and asking in faith.
[1:32] Speaker 5: For in Jesus mighty name we pray.
[1:35] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[1:37] Speaker 5: I want to really say thank you again to the
[1:41] Speaker 5: man of God, Dr.
[1:42] Speaker 3: Emos Fenwa. Thank you, sir. Thank you.
[1:49] Speaker 5: There are not many, I must confess, and I'll tell
[1:52] Speaker 5: you this, there are not many people within his age
[1:55] Speaker 5: range of ministry that have the flexibility and the fluidity
[1:59] Speaker 5: to maintain their core call and yet be flexible to
[2:04] Speaker 5: embrace God. other dimensions, particularly, I think it's something that
[2:11] Speaker 5: is worthy of commendation.
[2:12] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Yes. Hallelujah.
[2:20] Speaker 5: The privilege of relationship that I have with him, I've
[2:23] Speaker 5: been touched and humbled by his, for want of word,
[2:29] Speaker 5: his childlike passion for knowledge, for.
[2:32] Speaker 3: Truth and improvement.
[2:34] Speaker 5: If it means him learning from a child, he will
[2:37] Speaker 5: learn from a child regardless the age difference. That is
[2:41] Speaker 5: profound humility, profound wisdom, profound leadership.
[2:46] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[2:48] Speaker 5: And we sincerely honor you for this in the name
[2:51] Speaker 5: of Jesus Christ. I just felt scared to also do this.
[2:57] Speaker 5: I want to say thank you particularly to all the walkers,
[3:02] Speaker 5: Who stand by the man of God in this church.
[3:06] Speaker 3: And lift up his hands. You see. I'm a leader myself.
[3:11] Speaker 3: And I know that.
[3:12] Speaker 5: Your vision is as potent. As the people that stand
[3:16] Speaker 5: with you. And stand by you. While I sat down
[3:19] Speaker 5: watching the. The worship team. I could see the sincerity
[3:23] Speaker 5: of their zeal. It was not mechanical. It was with passion.
[3:28] Speaker 5: It was in truth. And. I'm taking time to say
[3:33] Speaker 5: these things because I'm hoping that some leader will learn.
[3:36] Speaker 5: You are as powerful as the people that stand with you.
[3:43] Speaker 5: The Lord gave the word. Great was the company of
[3:48] Speaker 5: them that published it. The Bible says in the multitude
[3:51] Speaker 5: of men is a king's honor. When God raises people
[3:55] Speaker 5: to stand with you, do not become too proud to
[3:59] Speaker 5: acknowledge their contribution. And you do it once, you do
[4:03] Speaker 5: it again. The human spirit functions by motivation. When people
[4:08] Speaker 5: know that their contributions have been recognized and rewarded, then
[4:13] Speaker 5: clear the stage and see them give their best and
[4:16] Speaker 5: give their all. One more time, let's give it up
[4:18] Speaker 5: to all the workers in this global ministry.
[4:24] Speaker 3: Amen. Are you ready?
[4:29] Speaker 5: So we'll be spending a few minutes as I charge
[4:31] Speaker 5: us on this final session. And let me pray that
[4:35] Speaker 5: and ask that you open up your heart. Every moment
[4:38] Speaker 5: in God's presence is a moment of encounter.
[4:41] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Please be seated. God bless you.
[4:44] Speaker 5: I'm teaching very briefly on the prayer of faith. The
[4:49] Speaker 5: prayer of faith. Let me encourage you to make reference
[4:53] Speaker 5: to all the teachings for this conference, but particularly the
[4:57] Speaker 5: sessions that we've had together. The minister's conference, if you
[5:02] Speaker 5: can have access to the teaching. And then yesterday night's teaching,
[5:05] Speaker 5: just a quick recap. I taught us yesterday that there
[5:10] Speaker 5: are two components.
[5:12] Speaker 3: To building faith. and manifesting Bible faith.
[5:15] Speaker 5: Number one, the Bible says, take heed.
[5:18] Speaker 3: What you hear. Hallelujah.
[5:21] Speaker 5: Please allow me honor a great man of God and
[5:24] Speaker 5: a great friend in ministry, Reverend Ike Wednesday.
[5:27] Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Such an honor to see you.
[5:29] Speaker 3: Thank you. Hallelujah.
[5:33] Speaker 5: And so the Bible talks about taking heed what you hear.
[5:38] Speaker 5: Remember the teaching yesterday? And I said that your faith
[5:41] Speaker 5: is built based on the correctness of the spiritual information
[5:46] Speaker 5: you have access to. Not the spirituality of the information.
[5:50] Speaker 5: And information can be spiritual and yet wrong. The potency
[5:54] Speaker 5: of faith is built upon the rightness and the correctness
[5:59] Speaker 5: of the information.
[6:01] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. The Bible says.
[6:03] Speaker 5: that you be careful lest what you call light be darkness.
[6:08] Speaker 5: So it's possible to hold on to what you call
[6:10] Speaker 5: a body of truth, a body of knowledge, but it
[6:12] Speaker 5: is not true light. I like how the Bible puts it.
[6:15] Speaker 5: It says, that was the true light that lighted every man.
[6:20] Speaker 5: That means there are other kinds of lights, including false lights.
[6:24] Speaker 5: And you know they are false because the potency that
[6:27] Speaker 5: should come with light is not administered in the presence
[6:31] Speaker 5: of of real life situation.
[6:32] Speaker 3: So the Bible tells us to be.
[6:35] Speaker 5: Mindful of the accuracy of the information that builds our conviction.
[6:42] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[6:43] Speaker 5: There is a construct of spiritual knowledge that empowers the
[6:47] Speaker 5: believer to walk by faith. Not every spiritual information sustains
[6:52] Speaker 5: the ability to plant faith in your spirit. There is
[6:56] Speaker 5: an exact body of light that builds the believer. The
[7:00] Speaker 5: second component we looked at yesterday, the Bible says.
[7:03] Speaker 3: Be careful how you hear.
[7:06] Speaker 5: So not just what you hear, the correctness of the information,
[7:11] Speaker 5: but how you hear, your attitude and your response. Paul
[7:16] Speaker 5: was speaking to the Hebrew church and he says, there
[7:18] Speaker 5: remained a rest for the people of God. He says,
[7:22] Speaker 5: for the gospel was preached unto us like it was
[7:24] Speaker 5: to them. But the word preached did not profit them.
[7:29] Speaker 5: Not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
[7:35] Speaker 5: There is always a response. Jesus was looking at the
[7:39] Speaker 5: disciples at the sea while he walked on water. And
[7:44] Speaker 5: Peter said, if it be thou bid me come. And
[7:47] Speaker 5: he never said, Peter, come. He just said, come. That
[7:51] Speaker 5: means whoever responded was the one who will receive the miracle.
[7:55] Speaker 5: In this case, only Peter took the step. So only
[7:58] Speaker 5: Peter had the opportunity to experience what walking on water was.
[8:01] Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
[8:04] Speaker 5: So most people do not respond to the word of God.
[8:07] Speaker 5: They hear, they are excited, but they do not respond.
[8:12] Speaker 5: The miracle happens at the point of response. Not at
[8:16] Speaker 5: the point of hearing.
[8:17] Speaker 3: Listen.
[8:18] Speaker 5: Faith is built at the point of hearing. But the
[8:22] Speaker 5: miracle happens at the point of obedience. One more time.
[8:26] Speaker 5: Faith is built at the point of hearing. But the
[8:30] Speaker 5: miracle happens at the point of your response. Jesus told
[8:35] Speaker 5: the ten lepers. He says be on your way and
[8:37] Speaker 5: go and show yourself to the priest.
[8:39] Speaker 3: If you believe.
[8:40] Speaker 5: The Bible says, as they went. Not before they went.
[8:44] Speaker 5: Not while they were thinking. Not while they said, yes sir.
[8:47] Speaker 5: As they went, they discovered that a miracle began to happen.
[8:51] Speaker 5: John chapter 2, same experience. Get six pots together the
[8:55] Speaker 5: wedding in Cana of Galilee. And the Bible says, as
[8:57] Speaker 5: they went, the water began to turn to wine.
[9:01] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[9:03] Speaker 5: The miracle happens at the point of your obedience.
[9:06] Speaker 3: So Bible faith.
[9:07] Speaker 5: Demands that number one, you hear correctly. Number two, that
[9:13] Speaker 5: you respond accurately. And like I illustrated yesterday, the proof
[9:18] Speaker 5: of hearing is accurate response.
[9:21] Speaker 3: If I ask you to come and you sit, I
[9:23] Speaker 3: assume you did not hear me. Are we together now?
[9:26] Speaker 5: The accuracy of your response is proof that you heard well.
[9:32] Speaker 5: Prayer is connected to manifesting Bible faith. Mark chapter 11,
[9:36] Speaker 5: 23 and 24. Mark chapter 11. So the story behind
[9:40] Speaker 5: this scripture is that Jesus came hungry and he saw
[9:44] Speaker 5: a fig tree. The fig tree was very alluring and
[9:47] Speaker 5: when he came to the fig tree, he found out
[9:49] Speaker 5: it was full of leaves but no fruit. And sad
[9:54] Speaker 5: about the situation, he cost it for taking from the
[9:56] Speaker 5: earth and not producing fruits very strangely and by the
[10:00] Speaker 5: next day when they came they found out it had
[10:02] Speaker 5: withered the disciples were surprised and said wow you said
[10:05] Speaker 5: this and this happened then jesus said i say unto
[10:08] Speaker 5: you Whoever says to this mountain, I'm reading from New
[10:11] Speaker 5: King James, be removed and cast into the sea and
[10:15] Speaker 5: does not doubt in his heart but believes that those
[10:19] Speaker 5: things he says will be done. He says he will
[10:22] Speaker 5: have whatsoever. I'm used to KJV. My apologies if you
[10:27] Speaker 5: see me looking but reading from my mind. I'm already
[10:30] Speaker 5: used to KJV, King James language.
[10:33] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Then verse 24 says, Therefore I say unto you.
[10:40] Speaker 3: King James says.
[10:41] Speaker 5: What things so ever ye desire. When ye pray. Can
[10:48] Speaker 5: we have KJV?
[10:51] Speaker 3: What things so ever ye desire.
[10:53] Speaker 4: He says.
[10:54] Speaker 3: When ye pray. Please look up.
[10:56] Speaker 5: So the Bible talks about your desire. Your expectation. Connects
[11:01] Speaker 5: it to prayer. Then he says. Believe that thou receivest them.
[11:07] Speaker 5: And it says, thou.
[11:08] Speaker 3: Shalt have them. One more time. What things so ever
[11:12] Speaker 3: ye desire.
[11:14] Speaker 5: When you pray, so your desire connects to prayer, connects
[11:19] Speaker 5: to believing, connects to receiving, connects to having. This is
[11:23] Speaker 5: how the Bible teaches. Desire, prayer, believing, receiving, having. You
[11:30] Speaker 5: can never have what you have not received. You only
[11:33] Speaker 5: have what you have received because receiving is a spiritual reality.
[11:38] Speaker 3: Having is when that reality that you have received is
[11:41] Speaker 3: now made manifest.
[11:43] Speaker 5: What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe.
[11:49] Speaker 5: That means if you want to be a person of faith,
[11:52] Speaker 5: exploits by faith, you cannot divorce your exploits of faith
[11:56] Speaker 5: and by faith to the ministry of prayer. Please walk
[12:01] Speaker 5: with me and let's go to the book of James.
[12:03] Speaker 5: James chapter 5. Very profound scripture. A nice discourse on
[12:08] Speaker 5: prayer was done right from chapter 13 and it stretches
[12:13] Speaker 5: down to about 18, 19. But for the sake of time,
[12:16] Speaker 5: we'll just pick a few scriptures very quickly. So the
[12:20] Speaker 5: Bible says in verse 13, is any among you afflicted?
[12:26] Speaker 3: It says, let him pray. Is any merry? Let him
[12:29] Speaker 3: sing psalms. 14. It says, is any sick among you?
[12:36] Speaker 5: Let me your attention now. Let him call for the
[12:39] Speaker 5: elders of the church. And let them pray over him.
[12:45] Speaker 5: So he's saying that there is a kind of prayer
[12:48] Speaker 5: that can be said over the afflicted, even the sick.
[12:52] Speaker 5: Anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
[12:54] Speaker 5: Let's shout verse 15 together if you're a Christian.
[12:56] Speaker 6: Ready?
[12:57] Speaker 4: One, two, read.
[12:58] Speaker 3: And the prayer of faith. Hold on please, hold on please,
[13:03] Speaker 3: hold on please.
[13:04] Speaker 5: The fact that he specified the kind of prayer meant
[13:08] Speaker 5: not every kind of prayer produces the effect desired. He
[13:12] Speaker 5: said the prayer of faith shall save the sick and
[13:17] Speaker 5: the Lord in honor to that prayer of faith shall
[13:21] Speaker 5: raise him up. I like this one. You don't have
[13:24] Speaker 5: to be sick to be raised up. Once you are down,
[13:27] Speaker 5: you need to be raised up. The prayer of faith
[13:30] Speaker 5: does not just.
[13:30] Speaker 3: Heal the sick, it can raise any man up.
[13:34] Speaker 5: And if he had committed sins, he said, they shall
[13:37] Speaker 5: be forgiven him.
[13:38] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. The prayer of faith. The prayer of faith.
[13:46] Speaker 5: So the Bible also tells us in James chapter 4,
[13:49] Speaker 5: let's look at it please. There is something called praying amiss.
[13:55] Speaker 5: Have you stumbled across that in scripture? That an individual
[13:59] Speaker 5: can pray, but he will pray amiss. That was the
[14:03] Speaker 5: challenge of Jesus' disciples. I told you yesterday that there
[14:06] Speaker 5: are many questions the disciples ask Jesus, but two of
[14:10] Speaker 5: them are outstanding. Number one, teach us to pray. Number two,
[14:14] Speaker 5: increase our faith.
[14:17] Speaker 3: They confronted Jesus head.
[14:19] Speaker 5: On with these questions. And the disciples were frustrated. Their
[14:25] Speaker 5: issue was not prayerlessness. Their issue was inefficiency in prayer.
[14:30] Speaker 5: They noticed that there was a way Jesus prayed over
[14:33] Speaker 5: sick people. There was a way he prayed over situations
[14:37] Speaker 5: and circumstances. There was a way he prayed over the
[14:41] Speaker 5: issues of concern at the time. And they saw the
[14:44] Speaker 5: results that followed immediately. And they attempted to pray in
[14:49] Speaker 5: like manner and nothing happened. So they came with humility
[14:52] Speaker 5: and said, please teach us to pray. As John taught
[14:55] Speaker 5: his disciples to pray. Then Jesus began to do a
[14:58] Speaker 5: discourse on prayer. James now is teaching us that.
[15:04] Speaker 5: A believer can be prayerful and yet your prayer can
[15:07] Speaker 5: be impotent. And the reason why the prayer of the
[15:11] Speaker 5: believer becomes impotent is because the believer can be prayerful
[15:16] Speaker 5: but that there is a possibility that that believer can
[15:19] Speaker 5: pray amiss.
[15:21] Speaker 3: Are we learning?
[15:22] Speaker 5: From whence cometh wars and fighting among you? Come they
[15:27] Speaker 5: not hence even from your lusts that war in your members?
[15:31] Speaker 3: Verse 2. ye lost and have not.
[15:37] Speaker 5: Ye kill and desire to have and cannot obtain ye
[15:42] Speaker 5: fight and war ye have not because you ask not
[15:47] Speaker 5: you know what james is saying here he's saying all
[15:49] Speaker 5: the bitterness and jealousy the fighting and the quarreling are
[15:53] Speaker 5: unnecessary Because the prayer platform is an equalizer. It gives
[15:58] Speaker 5: everybody an opportunity to have their desires met. That means
[16:01] Speaker 5: converting another person's reality or testimony and getting angry about
[16:06] Speaker 5: it is unnecessary.
[16:07] Speaker 3: That there is a provision in the spirit where anything.
[16:10] Speaker 5: You desire can become yours. So he's saying you fight
[16:15] Speaker 5: and you quarrel, you ask and then you receive not.
[16:19] Speaker 5: Did you ever read that it's possible to ask and
[16:22] Speaker 5: yet will not receive? He says, because you ask amiss
[16:28] Speaker 5: that you may consume it upon your loss. Very quickly,
[16:32] Speaker 5: what makes prayer a prayer that is amiss? I just
[16:39] Speaker 5: want to talk about that very quickly. Number one, the
[16:42] Speaker 5: first thing that makes prayer amiss is praying without the
[16:48] Speaker 5: backing of scripture. Praying without the backing of scripture is
[16:54] Speaker 5: praying amiss. Sociological emotional lamentation is not prayer. Praying outside
[17:04] Speaker 5: of the backing of scripture.
[17:06] Speaker 3: Is praying amiss. Are we together?
[17:09] Speaker 5: Because like we were taught yesterday, Genesis chapter 21 and
[17:13] Speaker 5: verse 1. God does not do what we want, he
[17:17] Speaker 5: only does what he says. So when you align what
[17:21] Speaker 5: you want to what he says, it will look like
[17:23] Speaker 5: God is answering you.
[17:25] Speaker 3: But God is honoring himself. Are we together now? And
[17:29] Speaker 3: the Lord visited Sarah.
[17:32] Speaker 5: As he had said. And the Lord did unto Sarah
[17:36] Speaker 5: as he has spoken. If God has not spoken. Are
[17:40] Speaker 5: we together now? The modus operandi of the kingdom does
[17:44] Speaker 5: not allow that God does what he did not say.
[17:48] Speaker 5: So God's word precedes his action. Genesis chapter 1. The
[17:53] Speaker 5: Bible says in the beginning... God created the heavens and
[17:57] Speaker 5: the earth. Now the earth was void, formless and darkness
[18:01] Speaker 5: hovered round the face of the deep. Then the Bible
[18:04] Speaker 5: says verse 3. And Elohim said. And God said, light be.
[18:13] Speaker 5: And the Bible says there was light. And he saw
[18:17] Speaker 5: that it was good. So that's always the protocol. God
[18:20] Speaker 5: says it. And then he does it. God says it
[18:24] Speaker 5: and then it is made manifest. So praying amiss is
[18:28] Speaker 5: praying without scriptural backing.
[18:31] Speaker 3: This is very profound. Most people assume.
[18:35] Speaker 5: That just because they are talking to God and they
[18:38] Speaker 5: mean what they are saying, God is obliged to answer them.
[18:42] Speaker 3: That does not work that way.
[18:44] Speaker 5: Hallelujah.
[18:44] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[18:45] Speaker 5: There are many, many people who prayed in the Bible
[18:47] Speaker 5: and their prayers were not answered.
[18:50] Speaker 3: Once you do not back.
[18:51] Speaker 5: Your prayer with the word, you do not back your
[18:54] Speaker 5: prayer with scripture, you are praying amiss.
[18:56] Speaker 3: Number two, what makes prayer praying amiss?
[19:00] Speaker 5: Any desire that violates the way the kingdom operates will
[19:04] Speaker 5: not be answered. Humorously, sometimes when I teach on this,
[19:10] Speaker 5: I talk about people praying that God destroys um.
[19:16] Speaker 3: His enemies.
[19:18] Speaker 5: Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered. Before
[19:24] Speaker 5: you pray that prayer, verify who is God's enemy. Do
[19:28] Speaker 5: you know who God's enemy is? God's enemy is not
[19:30] Speaker 5: the person you hate. God's enemy is not the person
[19:34] Speaker 5: you don't like. God's enemy is anybody who makes himself
[19:38] Speaker 5: a consistent interruption to God's program.
[19:41] Speaker 3: Even if that is you.
[19:43] Speaker 5: So when you pray, And say let God arise.
[19:49] Speaker 3: And let all.
[19:50] Speaker 5: His enemies it is possible to be in that list
[20:00] Speaker 5: you doubt me ask jonah The fact that you fight
[20:06] Speaker 5: the will of God, even if it's for that moment,
[20:09] Speaker 5: makes you his enemy. Anything that is anti-Christ is God's enemy.
[20:14] Speaker 4: Anything.
[20:15] Speaker 3: Not anyone.
[20:16] Speaker 1: Anything.
[20:18] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[20:19] Speaker 5: So when you pray with a motif that is wrong,
[20:22] Speaker 5: that was the singular reason based on my study and
[20:26] Speaker 5: in my opinion, why the prayer of Hannah was not answered.
[20:31] Speaker 5: The goal was not having a child that fulfills the
[20:33] Speaker 5: purposes of God. The goal was a competition, trying to
[20:38] Speaker 5: have just like Penina, and it was not enough for
[20:42] Speaker 5: heaven to move on her behalf.
[20:45] Speaker 3: So the issue was not having a child.
[20:47] Speaker 5: The issue was wanting to feel like a woman just
[20:49] Speaker 5: like Penina because of the mockery. You would think God
[20:52] Speaker 5: would be moved by her tears. And the years kept
[20:55] Speaker 5: multiplying and it looked like heaven was silent. One day
[20:58] Speaker 5: she changed her motif, paraphrasing, Lord, you are looking for
[21:02] Speaker 5: a prophet.
[21:03] Speaker 3: Let my womb produce one. She prayed once, not twice, once,
[21:07] Speaker 3: and the child came.
[21:11] Speaker 5: So when you come to God and say, Lord, I
[21:13] Speaker 5: want money.
[21:14] Speaker 3: I want ministry. I want anointing. I want this. There
[21:18] Speaker 3: is one question heaven will echo back to you. Why?
[21:22] Speaker 3: If you cannot answer that question why, you will not
[21:25] Speaker 3: get an answer from heaven.
[21:27] Speaker 5: Because everything created by God was designed to serve His purposes.
[21:33] Speaker 5: Everything created by God, everything that secures God's attention and
[21:38] Speaker 5: support must serve His purposes.
[21:42] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[21:43] Speaker 5: So praying amiss, number one, without scriptural backing. Number two,
[21:47] Speaker 5: with a corrupted motive. Corrupted motive. And then finally, number three.
[21:55] Speaker 5: What makes prayer amiss? Praying without faith. That means without
[22:02] Speaker 5: the willingness to obey God. There are many things God
[22:07] Speaker 5: mandates that we do to commit Him. But most believers
[22:11] Speaker 5: would prefer to go through the sacrifice, the burden of
[22:14] Speaker 5: shouting over heaven, than to take that action of faith.
[22:18] Speaker 5: For instance, there is no amount of prayer that will
[22:22] Speaker 5: substitute for obedience.
[22:25] Speaker 3: There is no amount of prayer... That.
[22:27] Speaker 5: Will substitute for obedience. If God gives you an instruction...
[22:32] Speaker 5: And say bring a seed... To your father in the Lord.
[22:35] Speaker 5: And you say Lord... Rather than giving him the seed...
[22:38] Speaker 5: Let me fast for two days. You will fast and
[22:41] Speaker 5: it's just your spiritual life that will improve. But that
[22:43] Speaker 5: result you want to get... You will not get it.
[22:46] Speaker 5: Obedience indeed is better than sacrifice. There are many many believers.
[22:52] Speaker 4: Who.
[22:52] Speaker 5: Prefer to pray... In replacement to obedience. And the reason
[22:58] Speaker 5: is because. In prayer you just dissipate energy. But obedience
[23:03] Speaker 5: many times will cost you. It will cost you to
[23:05] Speaker 5: part away with physical things.
[23:09] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[23:10] Speaker 5: The Bible says they heard the word just like we did.
[23:13] Speaker 5: But the word did not profit them not being mixed
[23:17] Speaker 5: with faith.
[23:17] Speaker 3: Can I tell you?
[23:19] Speaker 5: One of the major assignments of prayer is to help
[23:22] Speaker 5: you know the will of God. The moment the will
[23:24] Speaker 5: of God is known, you obtain grace to walk in
[23:28] Speaker 5: keeping with the conditions that commit God. Once your part
[23:32] Speaker 5: is not played, you render the word impotent.
[23:39] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[23:40] Speaker 5: For instance, the Bible talks about diligence as a requirement
[23:44] Speaker 5: for greatness. If you pray with a commitment to remain lazy,
[23:48] Speaker 5: you are not going to have the prayer answered. At best,
[23:52] Speaker 5: God will show you through dreams and visions that laziness
[23:55] Speaker 5: is why you are there.
[23:57] Speaker 3: Are we together now? Yeah. Prayer was not supposed to
[24:01] Speaker 3: replace diligence.
[24:02] Speaker 5: The various responsibility components that commit the believer as far
[24:09] Speaker 5: as getting promises manifest. I think it's a mistake that
[24:12] Speaker 5: is done in church. There are many people who perpetually live,
[24:17] Speaker 5: walk in disobedience and expect that just because they prayed,
[24:22] Speaker 5: it will automatically make that happen. The Bible says, he
[24:26] Speaker 5: that wants friends must show himself friendly. If you're somebody
[24:30] Speaker 5: who disregards people, you have a lot of disdain for people,
[24:34] Speaker 5: pray the favor prayer you can. As far as that
[24:37] Speaker 5: will concern, the answer will remain in the realm of
[24:39] Speaker 5: the spirit. Because the human components that need to partner
[24:43] Speaker 5: with the spirit of God, you have ignored them. And
[24:45] Speaker 5: dishonor is the key that shuts any door.
[24:50] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[24:53] Speaker 5: So when you pray outside of the provisions that scripture allows,
[25:00] Speaker 5: you are praying amiss. Number two, when your motif is
[25:04] Speaker 5: corrupted just to satisfy your lust, there is.
[25:07] Speaker 3: No kingdom come.
[25:09] Speaker 5: Contained in your desire There is no kingdom come There
[25:13] Speaker 5: is nothing in your desire That glorifies Jesus There is
[25:17] Speaker 5: nothing in your desire That gives him praise There is
[25:20] Speaker 5: nothing in your desire That sings his praises to the
[25:23] Speaker 5: nations You will not secure answer from heaven And number
[25:26] Speaker 5: three If you are praying without a commitment to obeying
[25:31] Speaker 5: God or obeying the.
[25:33] Speaker 3: Instructions that will come from that prayer.
[25:36] Speaker 5: There are many, many, many people whose prayer remains impotent
[25:40] Speaker 5: because it's a waste for the Holy Spirit to instruct.
[25:42] Speaker 3: Them in the place of prayer.
[25:44] Speaker 5: Because when God tells them the things to do, they
[25:47] Speaker 5: would not do it. Whatsoever he tells you to do,
[25:51] Speaker 5: John chapter 2, he says to do. Having the readiness
[25:56] Speaker 5: to judge all disobedience, it says, when your obedience is complete.
[26:01] Speaker 3: Are we learning now? So this is very powerful.
[26:04] Speaker 5: I watch sincere believers who love the Lord pray, dissipating
[26:09] Speaker 5: zeal and energy, and.
[26:11] Speaker 3: You can see the mistakes that are made in prayer.
[26:14] Speaker 5: And sometimes I'm moved with so much compassion because I
[26:17] Speaker 5: know that these people are praying with zeal, albeit without knowledge.
[26:23] Speaker 5: What makes your activities in the spirit powerful is the
[26:26] Speaker 5: understanding that supports what you are doing. The difference between
[26:30] Speaker 5: giving as donation and giving as a spiritual commitment that
[26:36] Speaker 5: brings you a harvest of increase is understanding, not just
[26:40] Speaker 5: the seed.
[26:41] Speaker 3: When you carry a donation mentality, there's no reward.
[26:46] Speaker 5: The reward is that people who have a good perception
[26:48] Speaker 5: about you, that they saw you dropping a seed, but
[26:51] Speaker 5: it will not reach heaven.
[26:53] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[26:55] Speaker 5: So understanding is what gives strength to our spiritual activities.
[27:01] Speaker 5: You can dance just as a show and yet lose
[27:05] Speaker 5: out on an opportunity to receive the blessings that come
[27:08] Speaker 5: from such a powerful spiritual practice. You can sing and
[27:13] Speaker 5: it's just entertainment for you.
[27:16] Speaker 3: Are we together now?
[27:17] Speaker 5: What gives life to the spiritual activities that we engage
[27:21] Speaker 5: in is the understanding that supports what we're doing. So
[27:26] Speaker 5: before you act, It's important that you educate yourself. Why
[27:31] Speaker 5: am I doing this? What is the revelation behind the
[27:34] Speaker 5: things I'm doing? I'm locking myself in the room and
[27:37] Speaker 5: I'm dancing before the Lord. What does this mean? What
[27:41] Speaker 5: blessing is connected to disobedience?
[27:44] Speaker 3: Are we together? I'm now emptying my account to bring
[27:47] Speaker 3: my seed to church.
[27:48] Speaker 5: Are you just doing it because you are frustrated? Or
[27:51] Speaker 5: are you doing it because you have an understanding that
[27:53] Speaker 5: no man outgives God?
[27:58] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[28:01] Speaker 5: Understanding is powerful. Jesus said I will build my church
[28:04] Speaker 5: upon this formula. That you have to understand first. Before
[28:10] Speaker 5: you act. Who do men say that I am? And
[28:14] Speaker 5: they said you are this and that. And he said
[28:15] Speaker 5: this is ignorance. But what do you say? And Peter
[28:18] Speaker 5: said I know who thou art. Thou art Christ.
[28:21] Speaker 3: Even the son of the living God. Understanding. Understanding.
[28:26] Speaker 5: It is the reason why two people can come and
[28:28] Speaker 5: drop the same seed, the same amount, under the same condition,
[28:33] Speaker 5: and even receive prophetic blessings from.
[28:35] Speaker 3: The man of God.
[28:36] Speaker 5: One will go and return with testimonies, another person will
[28:39] Speaker 5: return as if he never came to church. Oftentimes the
[28:43] Speaker 5: difference is not the anointing that came upon them, not
[28:46] Speaker 5: the size of the seed necessarily, but the understanding that
[28:49] Speaker 5: supported what they did.
[28:53] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[28:53] Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
[28:54] Speaker 5: Praying amiss i'm praying for you that from today may
[28:57] Speaker 5: your prayer produce power shout a louder amen may your
[29:01] Speaker 5: prayer produce power you may have heard me say nobody
[29:06] Speaker 5: leaves what works the reason why many people plunge into
[29:10] Speaker 5: prayerlessness is because they are frustrated by the repeated cycles
[29:14] Speaker 5: of dissipating energy without corresponding testimonies when you pray and
[29:19] Speaker 5: it produces you will pray again am i right on that.
[29:24] Speaker 3: When you pray and it produces.
[29:27] Speaker 5: I was very touched when I saw the testimony of
[29:31] Speaker 5: the six-month baby, you know, just smiling and crying.
[29:36] Speaker 3: At the same time enjoying. I said, my God, look
[29:38] Speaker 3: at this. the power of prayer.
[29:43] Speaker 5: You don't want to spend time crying to a god
[29:47] Speaker 5: that in your case looks like an idol because you
[29:50] Speaker 5: are praying lord visit me nothing happens arise for me
[29:55] Speaker 5: nothing happens okay forget about me and visit my child
[29:58] Speaker 5: nothing happens everything you shout on to god and then
[30:03] Speaker 5: you wrap up your prayer by saying amen and you
[30:06] Speaker 5: walk out of that place knowing it will not be
[30:08] Speaker 5: answered hallelujah do you know how powerful it is when
[30:16] Speaker 5: everything you do produces results whatsoever he doeth prospers is
[30:23] Speaker 5: that in your bible That includes your praying. Imagine how
[30:27] Speaker 5: many people you want to see their conditions change. That
[30:30] Speaker 5: if you had the power through prayer to change their conditions.
[30:34] Speaker 5: And you've mastered the dynamics of potent, functional and answered prayer.
[30:40] Speaker 3: You will pray and intercede with joy.
[30:42] Speaker 5: Because you already have the heart to see people's problems
[30:46] Speaker 5: turned around. But for most people, we pray and pray
[30:50] Speaker 5: and pray and nothing happens. Let me remind you again
[30:53] Speaker 5: one last time. If your prayer is not answered, these
[30:56] Speaker 5: are the three areas to check. Number one, the word
[30:59] Speaker 5: compliancy may be found wanting. That you are just praying
[31:03] Speaker 5: emotional prayers. For instance, Father, thank you. You are the
[31:07] Speaker 5: Lion of the tribe of Judah, Rose of Sharon, Lily
[31:09] Speaker 5: of the Valley. And most people don't even believe what
[31:12] Speaker 5: they are saying. They don't even know the implication of.
[31:14] Speaker 3: What they are saying.
[31:16] Speaker 5: If you pick just one of those attributes of God
[31:18] Speaker 5: and you study it, it will build your faith. What
[31:21] Speaker 5: does it mean to be the Lion of the tribe
[31:23] Speaker 5: of Judah? And after we wrap up all those things,
[31:26] Speaker 5: we say, God, I'm here again. Will you allow shame
[31:29] Speaker 5: like this? Is this how my life is going to be? Now,
[31:32] Speaker 5: of course, I know you are being sincere and sympathetic. God,
[31:35] Speaker 5: in my presence, I'm watching all these my people. This
[31:38] Speaker 5: one that went to school, when? You are praying now.
[31:40] Speaker 5: The person now has a job. The other day, I
[31:43] Speaker 5: was standing by the junction. You are talking to God now.
[31:45] Speaker 5: And I saw this. God, you can't be doing all
[31:48] Speaker 5: these kind of things to me. And then you say amen. Now,
[31:50] Speaker 5: let me be honest with you. God is touched with
[31:55] Speaker 5: the feelings of your infirmity. He's called compassion, but he's
[31:59] Speaker 5: only moved by his word. Did you hear what I said?
[32:03] Speaker 5: God is touched with the feelings of your infirmity, but.
[32:07] Speaker 3: He's bound himself to his word.
[32:13] Speaker 5: If God were not bound to his word, nobody he
[32:17] Speaker 5: died for who did not accept him would be in
[32:19] Speaker 5: hell now.
[32:21] Speaker 3: His compassion will not allow them.
[32:23] Speaker 5: Yet because the condition is that whoever receives the.
[32:28] Speaker 3: Son has life. Whoever rejects the son has been condemned already.
[32:32] Speaker 5: So no matter how much he loves the sinner, he
[32:35] Speaker 5: will honor the sinners rejecting him.
[32:37] Speaker 3: Even at the detriment of his eternal damnation.
[32:40] Speaker 5: This is how powerful God has bound himself to his word.
[32:43] Speaker 3: So if you think just because you are crying, God
[32:46] Speaker 3: will answer.
[32:47] Speaker 5: I want you to know that he still remains a
[32:49] Speaker 5: God of love.
[32:50] Speaker 3: But you may be disappointed for a very long time. Hmm.
[32:57] Speaker 3: Church is quiet.
[32:58] Speaker 5: I assume the word is entering your spirit. Because I'm
[33:01] Speaker 5: sure many people are just thinking, ah, so this is
[33:05] Speaker 5: what I've been doing. Praying outside of the scripture. Emotional,
[33:13] Speaker 5: sociological prayer. A mix of wise sayings. My father said,
[33:18] Speaker 5: nobody trouble me. You are talking to God. No, these
[33:22] Speaker 5: things don't work that way. Pray like a believer. A
[33:26] Speaker 5: believer has been grafted into a new culture. And there
[33:30] Speaker 5: is a modus operandi that governs that culture.
[33:33] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[33:35] Speaker 5: And then the Bible says that we pray, we have
[33:39] Speaker 5: to examine our motif.
[33:42] Speaker 3: Our motif. Our motif. Our motif. God, you gave this
[33:48] Speaker 3: sister a wrapper. Give me two of them. I'm watching you.
[33:51] Speaker 3: And God says, no. This is not how I walk.
[33:54] Speaker 5: If that is why you are here, Let's talk about
[33:56] Speaker 5: something else. But as far as the matter of a
[33:59] Speaker 5: rapper is concerned.
[34:00] Speaker 3: Forget it.
[34:01] Speaker 5: This is not how I give people rappers. Father, I
[34:06] Speaker 5: desire a covering to empower.
[34:08] Speaker 3: Me to be able to reveal you more. Heaven says,
[34:10] Speaker 3: now you are speaking our language. Let's talk again. Is
[34:14] Speaker 3: someone learning now?
[34:16] Speaker 5: This jealousy driven prayer and fasting does not produce result.
[34:22] Speaker 5: This envy driven prayer and fasting. Envy driven ministry. Envy
[34:29] Speaker 5: driven pursuits. God, either give me the same thing or
[34:33] Speaker 5: take away the other person's own.
[34:35] Speaker 3: The most important thing is let's be in the same position. Motive.
[34:47] Speaker 5: And then number three, make sure you don't go to
[34:50] Speaker 5: the place of prayer when you are not willing to
[34:52] Speaker 5: obey God. Because oftentimes the real end point of your
[34:57] Speaker 5: prayer is when divine instructions come. And the moment instructions come,
[35:02] Speaker 5: the remaining part of that equation is at the mercy
[35:05] Speaker 5: of your obedience. If God tells you that the secret
[35:10] Speaker 5: to your rising. Lord I'm trusting you for a job.
[35:13] Speaker 5: I'm trusting you to open up a door. And then
[35:15] Speaker 5: a Rima word can come to you. Based on scripture.
[35:20] Speaker 5: And God gives you an instruction. Buy a basket of
[35:24] Speaker 5: fruit and go and sow it as a seed to
[35:27] Speaker 5: someone who just got a job.
[35:29] Speaker 3: Now, you heard that. That word, God has already answered
[35:33] Speaker 3: your prayer.
[35:33] Speaker 5: Whether it will manifest or not, it depends on your obedience.
[35:37] Speaker 5: And you say, Lord, I won't buy a basket of
[35:39] Speaker 5: fruit for anyone. My ego will not allow me. Let's
[35:41] Speaker 5: keep praying. Father, in the name of Jesus. Listen, let
[35:44] Speaker 5: me tell you. It doesn't work that way. Obedience is
[35:50] Speaker 5: a powerful force. Did you hear what I said? Philippians
[35:54] Speaker 5: chapter 2 from verse 5. Let this mind be in
[35:56] Speaker 5: you which was also in Christ Jesus.
[35:59] Speaker 3: Who though being God.
[36:00] Speaker 5: Equal with God the Bible says.
[36:02] Speaker 3: Did not consider it robbery. Are we together? But that
[36:06] Speaker 3: he laid aside everything. And became a man. Died.
[36:12] Speaker 5: He was in the likeness of man and the Bible
[36:14] Speaker 5: says he died even the death of the cross. On
[36:17] Speaker 5: account of his obedience, the Bible says he was obedient
[36:21] Speaker 5: unto death. That is the realm of obedience. There is
[36:25] Speaker 5: obedience unto inconvenience. There is obedience unto shame. There is
[36:32] Speaker 5: obedience unto death. That is the highest level of obedience.
[36:36] Speaker 5: Obedience unto death. There is obedience that does not kill you,
[36:40] Speaker 5: but just inconveniences you. Emptying your account does not kill you,
[36:44] Speaker 5: but it's obedience unto inconvenience.
[36:46] Speaker 3: There is a reward connected to that.
[36:48] Speaker 5: The highest level of obedience that any man can manifest
[36:52] Speaker 5: in this earth realm is this.
[36:54] Speaker 3: Obedience unto death.
[36:58] Speaker 5: Wherefore, on account of this, God hath so highly exalted
[37:03] Speaker 5: him and given him an office, a name that is
[37:07] Speaker 5: above every other name.
[37:10] Speaker 3: Let every other name fade away.
[37:13] Speaker 6: Let every other name fade away.
[37:22] Speaker 3: Till there's only you.
[37:24] Speaker 5: Let every other name fade away.
[37:28] Speaker 3: You see, when you sing songs like that.
[37:31] Speaker 5: This was the obedience that purchased that reality. So when
[37:35] Speaker 5: you go to pray and instructions come as a reamer,
[37:39] Speaker 5: you must obtain grace to obey and obey fast. Delayed
[37:44] Speaker 5: obedience is disobedience in a measure. Because we walk based
[37:49] Speaker 5: on the law of times and seasons. You can obey
[37:52] Speaker 5: God late. And it will be equal to disobedience. When
[37:56] Speaker 5: he spoke to Abraham.
[37:57] Speaker 3: Genesis 22. He says take down your son. Your only son.
[38:01] Speaker 5: The Bible says he arose early in the morning. There
[38:04] Speaker 5: is timing to obedience. You don't obey when you want.
[38:08] Speaker 5: You obey when the word comes. That is the reason
[38:11] Speaker 5: why in the place of prayer. Among the many things
[38:14] Speaker 5: you pray for.
[38:15] Speaker 3: Is the doing grace.
[38:17] Speaker 5: The doing grace is what empowers the believer to take
[38:20] Speaker 5: prompt action and reveal and redeem the time. I hope
[38:24] Speaker 5: God is helping us already. We are still discussing praying amiss.
[38:33] Speaker 5: Africa prays oh. But most times we pray amiss.
[38:39] Speaker 3: That is the truth. We pray sincerely but we pray amiss.
[38:43] Speaker 5: So the ratio of the energy dissipated to the results
[38:47] Speaker 5: obtained from prayer is like putting a bucket.
[38:51] Speaker 3: In front of a tap and it's coming drop by drop.
[38:55] Speaker 5: So there are so many people waiting with their buckets
[38:57] Speaker 5: and it will take one person over two weeks and
[39:00] Speaker 5: yet that tap has the ability to.
[39:03] Speaker 3: Fill up the bucket in less than a minute. You see,
[39:08] Speaker 3: it matters that God answers you early The Bible says.
[39:12] Speaker 5: Satisfy me early with your mercy.
[39:15] Speaker 3: There is timing to the help of God. Are we
[39:18] Speaker 3: learning now?
[39:20] Speaker 5: Now let's consider what the prayer of faith is very quickly.
[39:27] Speaker 5: If you know what it means to pray a miss,
[39:28] Speaker 5: you should pray a miss. begin to already guess what
[39:31] Speaker 5: it means to pray by faith. And the prayer of
[39:36] Speaker 5: faith will heal the sick and God will raise him up.
[39:42] Speaker 5: I know he was speaking in the context of healing,
[39:44] Speaker 5: but I like the other part that says God will
[39:46] Speaker 5: raise him up. The prayer of faith means Can raise
[39:50] Speaker 5: a man up. A weak man to be strong. The
[39:54] Speaker 5: poor to be blessed. A limited man to be unlimited.
[39:59] Speaker 5: Prayer makes the small great. If it is the prayer
[40:03] Speaker 5: of faith. And the Lord shall raise him up. And
[40:08] Speaker 5: the Lord shall raise his business up. Raise his ministry up.
[40:12] Speaker 5: Raise his influence up.
[40:15] Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[40:18] Speaker 5: I'm praying for you before we discuss this. If there
[40:21] Speaker 5: is anything that has kept you down in the name
[40:25] Speaker 5: that is above all names, that your life has been stunted,
[40:29] Speaker 5: limited by the power that raised Christ from the dead,
[40:32] Speaker 5: I speak over you that after today, in the name
[40:35] Speaker 5: that is above all names, may you rise up beyond
[40:38] Speaker 5: your imagination. You will marvel and wonder at what the
[40:45] Speaker 5: hand of God is able to do in the lives
[40:47] Speaker 5: of men. The prayer of faith can cause the Lord
[40:52] Speaker 5: to raise him up. To raise him up. To raise
[40:56] Speaker 5: him up.
[40:58] Speaker 3: But thou, O Lord, are the shield for me.
[41:04] Speaker 4: My glory, you.
[41:05] Speaker 3: Lift my hand.
[41:10] Speaker 6: But thou, O Lord, are the shield for me. my
[41:16] Speaker 6: glory the lifter of my head i like that part
[41:22] Speaker 6: you're my glory the lifter of my head he's my
[41:29] Speaker 6: glory You are my glory, the lifter of my head.
[41:42] Speaker 5: Barely God can add to a man till you become
[41:45] Speaker 5: strong as a nation.
[41:47] Speaker 3: One man.
[41:48] Speaker 5: One man can have the strength of a nation when
[41:52] Speaker 5: God helps you. It says by God I can run
[41:56] Speaker 5: through a troop. And by my God I can leap
[42:00] Speaker 5: over a wall. Listen, behind the exploits of men is
[42:05] Speaker 5: the jealousy of a mighty God that stands behind them
[42:09] Speaker 5: as a mighty terrible one. You define your possibilities in
[42:14] Speaker 5: this kingdom when you are able to secure the attention
[42:18] Speaker 5: of God. I quoted that scripture yesterday night. Have respect
[42:23] Speaker 5: for the covenant. For the dark places of the earth
[42:27] Speaker 5: are in you. A habitation of cruelty. The whole world
[42:34] Speaker 5: lies in wickedness. There is no guarantee that people will
[42:38] Speaker 5: indefinitely stand to support you. Support your ministry. Support what
[42:42] Speaker 5: you stand for. Prophesy this song one more time.
[42:48] Speaker 4: You are my glory.
[42:51] Speaker 3: The lifter up of my head.
[42:55] Speaker 6: You are my glory, the lifter of my head.
[43:00] Speaker 3: See the maker lifting you up.
[43:02] Speaker 6: You are my glory, the lifter of my head. You
[43:10] Speaker 6: are my glory, the lifter of my head.
[43:17] Speaker 5: It is that same God and it is that same
[43:19] Speaker 5: name that will finish up the payment of this building.
[43:23] Speaker 5: It is that same God and that same name that
[43:26] Speaker 5: will give children to the barren.
[43:28] Speaker 3: It is that same God.
[43:29] Speaker 5: And that same name that will lift weak people in
[43:32] Speaker 5: this church and make them strong and mighty like nations.
[43:36] Speaker 5: It is that same God and that same name that
[43:39] Speaker 5: will give visibility and power and grace to men. You see,
[43:47] Speaker 5: let me tell you this. Men make boast in their knowledge.
[43:52] Speaker 5: Men make boasts in their achievements. There are some of
[43:56] Speaker 5: us that do not have that luxury. The basis of
[44:02] Speaker 5: the help of God, the basis for everything good that
[44:06] Speaker 5: God has done today is attributed directly to the help
[44:11] Speaker 5: of God. But I can tell you, God can make
[44:14] Speaker 5: a man become a nation.
[44:17] Speaker 3: He says in thee shall all.
[44:20] Speaker 5: Genesis 12 verse 3.
[44:21] Speaker 3: In thee. Not from thee. In thee.
[44:26] Speaker 5: Connected to you. Because of you. Shall all the families
[44:31] Speaker 5: of the earth be blessed. That right from.
[44:36] Speaker 4: Where you are.
[44:38] Speaker 3: Here in this church.
[44:40] Speaker 4: In Lagos.
[44:41] Speaker 5: Somewhere that nobody knows you. God is able to lift you. Listen,
[44:46] Speaker 5: when God decides to raise a man bar, woe betides
[44:49] Speaker 5: the force that stands against you. Then you will see
[44:52] Speaker 5: the real power. God is not just a lambo, he's
[44:57] Speaker 5: a lion.
[44:57] Speaker 3: He's a lion.
[45:01] Speaker 5: Have you seen lions bring down great animals? Many times
[45:04] Speaker 5: their size. Except that this one is the most high.
[45:08] Speaker 5: He's not a lion just because of attitude.
[45:11] Speaker 3: He's a lion because all power belongs to him.
[45:14] Speaker 5: I have spoken once and twice have you heard that
[45:18] Speaker 5: power belongs to the Lord. The Bible says he has
[45:21] Speaker 5: broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of
[45:25] Speaker 5: iron in sunder. I'm saying this because this is what
[45:29] Speaker 5: must happen to you beginning from today. Now thanks be
[45:34] Speaker 5: to God which causes us always leaping in ministry. Doesn't
[45:39] Speaker 5: matter who likes you or doesn't like you. Once God
[45:41] Speaker 5: stands behind you, that force keeps pushing you. Keeps pushing you.
[45:49] Speaker 5: Moving you from glory to glory. Moving you from grace
[45:52] Speaker 5: to grace. Raising men to stand. Shifting systems and structures
[45:57] Speaker 5: and compelling them to align to his purposes in your life.
[46:07] Speaker 3: He told Joshua.
[46:09] Speaker 5: He said no man will be able to stand against you.
[46:13] Speaker 5: I thank God it was Joshua he spoke to. No
[46:16] Speaker 5: man shall be able to stand against you. All the
[46:20] Speaker 5: days of your life. He says today I will begin
[46:23] Speaker 5: to magnify you. In the sight of all Egypt.
[46:26] Speaker 3: Israel.
[46:27] Speaker 5: So that they will know that as I was with Moses.
[46:33] Speaker 5: In one minute we are going to sing this song again.
[46:35] Speaker 5: You are my glory.
[46:36] Speaker 3: You are my glory. You are the lifter.
[46:38] Speaker 5: See yourself rising. See yourself shining. See yourself excelling. Regardless
[46:44] Speaker 5: the curses. Regardless the yokes. See your ministry gaining traction
[46:50] Speaker 5: and visibility.
[46:51] Speaker 3: By the power of the Holy Spirit.
[46:54] Speaker 4: You're my glory.
[46:57] Speaker 6: The lifter of my head.
[47:02] Speaker 4: You're my glory. You're my glory. You're my glory.
[47:11] Speaker 6: You're my glory.
[47:16] Speaker 4: You're my glory.
[47:18] Speaker 6: You're my glory.
[47:26] Speaker 3: That is God for you.
[47:27] Speaker 5: When God decides to come to your family and holds
[47:31] Speaker 5: your hand, that I will lift you You see, many
[47:37] Speaker 5: believers truly, they do not know who God is.
[47:45] Speaker 3: Many believers do not know who God is.
[47:48] Speaker 5: When God decides, whatever would have been impossible, possible, then
[47:52] Speaker 5: you make it easy. So when you are saying you
[47:56] Speaker 5: are my glory, then lift her up. Is there many
[47:59] Speaker 5: a day that rise up against me, Psalm 3?
[48:02] Speaker 3: Many a day.
[48:03] Speaker 5: That say, where is your help? But it says, thou,
[48:05] Speaker 5: O Lord, art a shield for me. When God decides
[48:12] Speaker 5: to help you, let me repeat it again. He makes
[48:15] Speaker 5: things possible and makes things easy. Two things, possibility and ease.
[48:23] Speaker 5: That is the assignment of hell. So if you want
[48:26] Speaker 5: to buy something and it is one million naira and
[48:30] Speaker 5: you have 500,000. If I give you 500,000, I achieve
[48:35] Speaker 5: two things. One, I made that purchase possible, but I
[48:39] Speaker 5: made it easy. The help of God does not just
[48:43] Speaker 5: make things possible.
[48:44] Speaker 3: It makes things easy.
[48:48] Speaker 7: Is your glory the lifter up of your head you
[48:55] Speaker 7: are my glory the lifter up of my head remain
[49:03] Speaker 7: my glory the lifter up of my head.
[49:10] Speaker 5: There are people here it will not be up to
[49:13] Speaker 5: one month you will come and stand on this altar
[49:16] Speaker 5: And say, look how God lifted me. Look how God
[49:19] Speaker 5: changed my life.
[49:20] Speaker 3: Family.
[49:21] Speaker 5: Look how God rewrote my story. Look how God gave
[49:24] Speaker 5: me a voice. God raised strangers. Please be seated for
[49:32] Speaker 5: a few minutes. I'm going to wrap up my session
[49:35] Speaker 5: by making prophetic declarations. But let me just show you something. Honestly,
[49:40] Speaker 5: I sense that what has stayed in my spirit. That
[49:42] Speaker 5: someone you have come past a level for a long time.
[49:46] Speaker 5: Don't make it look like God is not faithful. It's
[49:48] Speaker 5: time to be angry. Listen, whatever you tolerate has the
[49:52] Speaker 5: license to remain.
[49:54] Speaker 3: Did you hear what I said?
[49:55] Speaker 5: Whatever you tolerate has the license to remain.
[50:00] Speaker 3: Your laxity to.
[50:01] Speaker 5: Press for change is the authorization for tragedies to remain.
[50:06] Speaker 5: The day you get dissatisfied, Lord, I cannot remain like this.
[50:11] Speaker 5: Everything that is alive grows. Where is my growth?
[50:14] Speaker 3: As proof that I'm alive.
[50:16] Speaker 5: Biology and spirituality both agree that when a thing is alive,
[50:21] Speaker 5: it grows.
[50:22] Speaker 3: So if it is true that.
[50:23] Speaker 5: You are alive, where is the growth that attests to
[50:26] Speaker 5: the fact that you are alive? That is why you
[50:33] Speaker 5: must cause the spirit of delay. I've taught you that
[50:36] Speaker 5: the classic character of delay is that the only thing
[50:39] Speaker 5: that grows in your life is your age. Once the
[50:44] Speaker 5: spirit of delay is upon you, nothing else grows, only
[50:47] Speaker 5: your age. There is no justification of your days by
[50:53] Speaker 5: the corresponding accomplishments. I want you to be tired today
[50:57] Speaker 5: while you are listening to me. We came here to
[51:00] Speaker 5: release our faith. If it is not working, don't keep quiet.
[51:04] Speaker 5: Did you hear what I said? If it is not working,
[51:06] Speaker 5: don't keep quiet.
[51:07] Speaker 3: Say it after me.
[51:09] Speaker 5: If it is not working, it says, give him no
[51:13] Speaker 5: rest until he establishes Jerusalem.
[51:18] Speaker 3: Now, what does it mean to pray the prayer of faith?
[51:21] Speaker 5: Number one, What does it mean to pray the prayer
[51:33] Speaker 5: of faith?
[51:33] Speaker 3: Number one.
[51:35] Speaker 1: The prayer of faith is scripture based prayer.
[51:40] Speaker 3: Write it down.
[51:42] Speaker 1: The prayer of faith is scripture based prayer.
[51:49] Speaker 3: Why do we pray scripture based prayer?
[51:53] Speaker 5: Numbers chapter 23 and verse 19.
[51:57] Speaker 3: God is not a man that he should lie. Nor
[52:02] Speaker 3: the son of man.
[52:04] Speaker 5: That he should repent. God is not a man. That
[52:09] Speaker 5: he should lie. He is not the son of man.
[52:12] Speaker 5: That he should repent. Had he said it. And shall
[52:17] Speaker 5: he not do it. Had he spoken. And shall he
[52:21] Speaker 5: not make it good. God is not a man.
[52:25] Speaker 3: Number 2. I like this. Psalm 138 and verse 2.
[52:27] Speaker 5: Hmm. psalm 138 and verse 2.
[52:36] Speaker 3: Psalm 132 8.
[52:37] Speaker 5: Verse 2 let's read together i will worship towards your
[52:42] Speaker 5: holy temple and praise thy name for thy loving kindness
[52:47] Speaker 5: and for thy truth why for thou has magnified thy
[52:52] Speaker 5: word above all thy names you have lifted and exalted
[52:57] Speaker 5: your word That means when I pray word compliance scripture
[53:03] Speaker 5: based prayer, I have a guarantee by the spirit that
[53:07] Speaker 5: God will not be tampered by any biases or emotions.
[53:12] Speaker 3: He's exalted and magnified his word even above his name.
[53:19] Speaker 5: Scripture based prayer. Never pray and ask anything. Without presenting
[53:27] Speaker 5: the scriptural basis. That commits God. Father I'm bringing before
[53:33] Speaker 5: you my rent.
[53:35] Speaker 3: What is the basis? I will tell you. The Bible says,
[53:39] Speaker 3: watch this.
[53:41] Speaker 5: If ye being evil, he was speaking to fathers, know
[53:44] Speaker 5: how to give good gifts to your children.
[53:46] Speaker 3: Now you come as a child and say, Lord, I
[53:49] Speaker 3: am your child. You are father.
[53:53] Speaker 5: The proof of fatherhood according to scripture is the ability
[53:56] Speaker 5: to give.
[53:58] Speaker 3: Are we together now?
[54:01] Speaker 5: Oh, I know that I was careless. I went and
[54:05] Speaker 5: did whatever it is. I went to go and use
[54:08] Speaker 5: the money for my rent to celebrate a birthday party.
[54:11] Speaker 3: Now I am in trouble.
[54:12] Speaker 5: Father, your word says that your mercy triumphs over judgment.
[54:16] Speaker 5: It says your mercies are new every morning. Your judgments
[54:19] Speaker 5: are not new every morning. I come before you in
[54:22] Speaker 5: repentance and sincerity. I have been careless, but I ask
[54:26] Speaker 5: for your mercy, for your namesake. You are praying Bible-based,
[54:31] Speaker 5: scripture-based prayer. Your child returns from school and it looks
[54:37] Speaker 5: like things are not working.
[54:39] Speaker 3: He's failing in the exams.
[54:41] Speaker 5: Beating the child, kicking the child, getting angry, getting frustrated and.
[54:44] Speaker 3: Say, God, this is your child. That's not how it works.
[54:47] Speaker 3: Carry Psalm 112.
[54:49] Speaker 5: Blessed is the man that feared the Lord, that delighted
[54:53] Speaker 5: greatly in his commands. God, you said my seed shall
[54:56] Speaker 5: be mighty. This does not look like might. This looks
[54:59] Speaker 5: like shame or reproach. I petition this child on account
[55:03] Speaker 5: of the integrity.
[55:04] Speaker 3: Of your word. This is how believers pray. This is
[55:08] Speaker 3: prayer that produces results. Hallelujah. Are we blessed?
[55:14] Speaker 5: You are a pastor and you are leading people. You
[55:16] Speaker 5: are not seeing great people rise from your congregation. Go
[55:20] Speaker 5: to God in prayer. Genesis 17 and verse 6. Lord,
[55:24] Speaker 5: there is a covenant with you that greatness will come
[55:27] Speaker 5: out of me. Genesis 17 and verse 6. Media help
[55:31] Speaker 5: us please. It says, and I will make thee exceeding fruitful.
[55:35] Speaker 5: And I will make nations of thee and kings. Not
[55:39] Speaker 5: shall come to thee, shall come out of thee. You
[55:45] Speaker 5: carry that and do a three days retreat with it.
[55:49] Speaker 5: And you watch somebody will tell you, I got a
[55:51] Speaker 5: job with a multinational. Another person, I established a business
[55:54] Speaker 5: in six months, it's been global. God is not honoring
[55:58] Speaker 5: your word. He's honoring his word that you have made
[56:02] Speaker 5: your word. Listen, this is the secret to mighty testimonies
[56:07] Speaker 5: that you see. I vowed before God that I will
[56:10] Speaker 5: never raise a weak people. And it's not because I'm
[56:13] Speaker 5: Joshua Selman. This is one of the anchor scriptures.
[56:20] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[56:22] Speaker 5: It looks like everybody is forgetting you.
[56:24] Speaker 3: People are not remembering you.
[56:26] Speaker 5: Go to God in prayer and cry. That night could
[56:32] Speaker 5: not king Ahasuerus sleep. He said bring me the chronicles.
[56:35] Speaker 5: And he said this person has done this. What has
[56:38] Speaker 5: been done to him? And they said nothing. And a
[56:40] Speaker 5: book of remembrance was opened. You cry before God. And
[56:44] Speaker 5: you say I have been part of the testimony of
[56:47] Speaker 5: many people. Lord they have forgotten me. He said the
[56:50] Speaker 5: keeper of Israel. He does not sleep neither slumbers. And
[56:56] Speaker 5: the wine presser said before Pharaoh, I remember my wrong
[56:59] Speaker 5: this day.
[57:00] Speaker 3: So it is wrong to forget those who help you.
[57:02] Speaker 3: Did you hear what I said?
[57:04] Speaker 5: It is a wrong that he remembered. I remember my wrong.
[57:08] Speaker 5: That this person was the one praying with me. Now
[57:11] Speaker 5: I got a job and for five years I have
[57:13] Speaker 5: not even remembered him to say take for tea and bread.
[57:17] Speaker 3: He didn't say I remember. I remember my wrong. It
[57:20] Speaker 3: is wrong.
[57:25] Speaker 5: This is how we command results in destiny. Prayer becomes
[57:28] Speaker 5: exciting when you are praying scripture. When you are praying nonsense,
[57:31] Speaker 5: it will just frustrate you and you'll be clear that
[57:34] Speaker 5: your prayer will not be answered.
[57:36] Speaker 3: Take time to write scriptures. Don't just shout. And God
[57:40] Speaker 3: has helped people to put.
[57:41] Speaker 5: The scriptures for you. At least two or three scriptures.
[57:46] Speaker 5: Go to God in fasting. Go to God praying.
[57:48] Speaker 3: Lock your door. This church is not growing. Father, you
[57:54] Speaker 3: are the God of increase. You are the God of increase.
[58:00] Speaker 3: I will multiply them.
[58:02] Speaker 5: They shall not be few. I will glorify them. They
[58:05] Speaker 5: shall not be small. That becomes your scripture. Oh, they
[58:09] Speaker 5: are not coming because the place is far.
[58:11] Speaker 3: It's a lie.
[58:12] Speaker 5: Where was the ark of Noah when the animals found
[58:15] Speaker 5: their way to the ark? The ark of Noah was
[58:20] Speaker 5: placed in one position. And the animals left everywhere. Noah
[58:25] Speaker 5: did not know where the animals were. But there was
[58:27] Speaker 5: an anointing that compelled them. It's called anakazo. It's a
[58:33] Speaker 5: grace that compels. It said go to the highway and
[58:37] Speaker 5: the byways. And compel them to come.
[58:40] Speaker 3: That my house may be full. Listen.
[58:46] Speaker 5: Listen. I hope you don't mistaken what we're doing for pride.
[58:51] Speaker 5: But let me tell you this.
[58:53] Speaker 3: If you don't live like this, I assure you, you'll
[58:56] Speaker 3: be frustrated. This thing is not magical.
[59:01] Speaker 5: This is how you walk your salvation with fear and trembling.
[59:08] Speaker 3: Walk out your salvation.
[59:10] Speaker 5: You are trusting God for a property Beyond your savings
[59:15] Speaker 5: Let me just give this advice Beyond your savings No
[59:19] Speaker 5: matter how much money you have You can have the
[59:22] Speaker 5: money and the owner will say I will not give
[59:23] Speaker 5: you There are many things money cannot do Psalm 44
[59:28] Speaker 5: and verse 3 Somebody has received the revelation for his
[59:32] Speaker 5: property this year. Psalm 44 and verse 3. They got
[59:36] Speaker 5: not the land in possession by their own sword, neither
[59:39] Speaker 5: did their own arm save them, but thy right hand
[59:43] Speaker 5: and thine arm and the light of your countenance, because
[59:46] Speaker 5: thou hast a favor towards them. Someone just looks at
[59:51] Speaker 5: you and says, I'm working in the land office. I
[59:54] Speaker 5: just feel like including your name for an annulication. And
[59:58] Speaker 5: you will think it's one small land that looks like
[1:00:00] Speaker 5: a curse.
[1:00:01] Speaker 3: You will be given. And you will never see the
[1:00:04] Speaker 3: person again.
[1:00:05] Speaker 5: If you think you have to know those who help you,
[1:00:08] Speaker 5: save journey.
[1:00:09] Speaker 3: Did you hear what I said? It takes a long
[1:00:11] Speaker 3: time to know one person.
[1:00:13] Speaker 5: And yet you need many people cumulatively.
[1:00:15] Speaker 3: To help you. So the Bible says, strangers shall feed
[1:00:18] Speaker 3: your flock.
[1:00:19] Speaker 4: When you are.
[1:00:20] Speaker 5: Praying for help, it must come from both known and
[1:00:23] Speaker 5: unknown people. Abraham did not know Abimelech. But in one night,
[1:00:28] Speaker 5: it was Abimelech that caused Abraham to prosper. He wanted
[1:00:32] Speaker 5: to take his wife and God said, if you touch
[1:00:34] Speaker 5: that woman, you are dead. By the next day, all
[1:00:37] Speaker 5: the blessings of Abraham was a.
[1:00:39] Speaker 3: Peace offering to apology. So you can meet.
[1:00:46] Speaker 5: With somebody who does not know you and say, something
[1:00:48] Speaker 5: is making me bless you. Tell the person, you are right.
[1:00:51] Speaker 5: You don't know what I did in my room. That
[1:00:53] Speaker 5: something has a name. Do you believe what I'm saying?
[1:01:06] Speaker 3: I believe it. Believe this.
[1:01:10] Speaker 5: One day you stand up and you are just walking
[1:01:12] Speaker 5: in your room prophetically. Everywhere the soles of your feet
[1:01:17] Speaker 5: treads upon. You are doing it in your room. Don't
[1:01:20] Speaker 5: worry that the room is just a two by two
[1:01:23] Speaker 5: or four by four.
[1:01:23] Speaker 3: Don't mind the devil. You just do what I'm telling
[1:01:25] Speaker 3: you to do.
[1:01:26] Speaker 5: Walking around by the spirit. You come to do ministry
[1:01:38] Speaker 5: in a city and they tell you there are forces.
[1:01:41] Speaker 5: That the ministry does not survive one.
[1:01:43] Speaker 3: Two, three years. Don't you know what to do?
[1:01:47] Speaker 5: You don't confront forces on the pulpit. You confront forces
[1:01:51] Speaker 5: in the secret place. The pulpit is a place for manifestation.
[1:01:55] Speaker 5: Don't stand on the pulpit and that's when you are
[1:01:57] Speaker 5: shouting at the spirits to hear you.
[1:01:59] Speaker 3: It's too late. You deal with it in the secret place.
[1:02:04] Speaker 5: The controlling powers across this territory. Hear the word of
[1:02:08] Speaker 5: the Lord. The Bible says, blessed is he who comes
[1:02:11] Speaker 5: in the name of the Lord. If I come by myself,
[1:02:14] Speaker 5: I shouldn't be blessed. But because I come in the
[1:02:17] Speaker 5: name of the Lord. Is that not in your Bible?
[1:02:22] Speaker 3: I'm showing you the prayer of faith.
[1:02:24] Speaker 5: Word compliant prayer that produces power.
[1:02:29] Speaker 3: The triumphant entry of Jesus.
[1:02:31] Speaker 5: They said bless Hosanna in the highest. The triumphant entry
[1:02:38] Speaker 5: is the testimony of anybody who comes in the name
[1:02:40] Speaker 5: of the Lord. When you come in the name of
[1:02:43] Speaker 5: the Lord, the proof that you come in the name
[1:02:45] Speaker 5: of the Lord is that there must eventually be a
[1:02:48] Speaker 5: triumphant entry. There was nothing that was used in that
[1:02:53] Speaker 5: triumphant entry. That was a personal property of Jesus.
[1:02:56] Speaker 3: Not the leaves. Not the man. Not the donkey. He
[1:03:00] Speaker 3: just came in the name of the Lord.
[1:03:02] Speaker 5: And provisions followed to make sure the entry was triumphant.
[1:03:07] Speaker 3: Don't say I don't have money. I don't have this.
[1:03:09] Speaker 3: I don't have that.
[1:03:10] Speaker 5: No. The invisible things are the mothers of the visible things.
[1:03:15] Speaker 5: Everything visible is a child. The name of the mother
[1:03:17] Speaker 5: that gave birth to it is the spirit realm. The
[1:03:20] Speaker 5: resources that you have are beyond the things that you see.
[1:03:23] Speaker 5: Don't be deceived by the amount in your account. Whether
[1:03:26] Speaker 5: you say it correctly or not, you are still wrong.
[1:03:29] Speaker 5: If what you have is 10 million and you say
[1:03:31] Speaker 5: I have 10.
[1:03:32] Speaker 3: Million, you are still wrong. Do you believe this?
[1:03:42] Speaker 5: I'm sharing with you my life sincerely under God. This
[1:03:45] Speaker 5: is what I do in the secret place. By the
[1:03:50] Speaker 5: spirit of God. Get angry in your spirit. Stop pampering
[1:03:55] Speaker 5: the devil around your destiny. I told you when Satan comes,
[1:03:59] Speaker 5: he does not come to discuss. He does not come
[1:04:01] Speaker 5: to advise. When he comes, he will kill. He will steal.
[1:04:05] Speaker 5: He will destroy.
[1:04:06] Speaker 3: One more time. He will steal. He will kill. He
[1:04:09] Speaker 3: will destroy. Everybody begins to hate you in the place
[1:04:14] Speaker 3: of work. That's an affliction. What did the Bible say
[1:04:18] Speaker 3: to do when you are afflicted? Pray. You are just
[1:04:21] Speaker 3: discussing it with people who cannot help you.
[1:04:25] Speaker 5: What is making my general manager hate me? Direct superior
[1:04:29] Speaker 5: hate me? Even the cleaners hate me. No, I'm a
[1:04:32] Speaker 5: spiritual man. I know this is not a sign of
[1:04:35] Speaker 5: the favor of God. Something is wrong. And you return
[1:04:38] Speaker 5: back home. Somebody says, can we come and watch a movie? Sorry,
[1:04:41] Speaker 5: another time please. You lock your door. Thou anointest my
[1:04:48] Speaker 5: head with oil.
[1:04:49] Speaker 3: My cup runneth over. Lord, what told you if you
[1:04:52] Speaker 3: are not from this, you are not from that?
[1:04:54] Speaker 4: No. No.
[1:04:57] Speaker 3: Every good and perfect gift cometh from above.
[1:05:00] Speaker 4: Watch this.
[1:05:01] Speaker 5: It comes from the Father of lights. I caught a
[1:05:05] Speaker 5: revelation of God as the father of spirits. That's a
[1:05:08] Speaker 5: very dangerous name. Every human being is first a spirit.
[1:05:13] Speaker 5: If you are not a spirit, you cannot be called man.
[1:05:15] Speaker 5: You first have to be spirit that is trapped in
[1:05:18] Speaker 5: a body. So when God calls himself the father of spirit,
[1:05:22] Speaker 5: he can manipulate any.
[1:05:24] Speaker 3: Human spirit to achieve his purposes. Even if you are Pharaoh.
[1:05:30] Speaker 5: So when someone beats his chest and says, over my
[1:05:33] Speaker 5: dead body, he's made a big mistake. Leave the person
[1:05:37] Speaker 5: and go to the father of spirits. The one who
[1:05:40] Speaker 5: turned men to beasts to show that he's a ruler
[1:05:44] Speaker 5: upon the earth.
[1:05:45] Speaker 3: Arguing with men is a waste of time. We wrestle
[1:05:49] Speaker 3: not against flesh and blood.
[1:05:51] Speaker 5: You know the scripture but have you.
[1:05:52] Speaker 3: Been using it?
[1:05:53] Speaker 5: This is what I'm teaching you. It is not just
[1:05:58] Speaker 5: an awareness of it. It is when you engage.
[1:06:01] Speaker 3: I'm teaching you the prayer of faith. Shall heal the sick.
[1:06:06] Speaker 3: And it shall raise men up. The prayer of faith. Hallelujah.
[1:06:13] Speaker 5: I have audio recordings of different scriptures. Sometimes I can
[1:06:17] Speaker 5: sit down and just play them. Scriptures on lifting. Scriptures
[1:06:22] Speaker 5: on healing. Scriptures on influence. Scriptures on power. Bear the
[1:06:27] Speaker 5: price and bring them together. While others are sleeping, we
[1:06:33] Speaker 5: are awake. Thou shalt be exalted above all the nations
[1:06:38] Speaker 5: of the earth. No nation will reject me. There is
[1:06:41] Speaker 5: a grace upon me. No nation. There is a mandate
[1:06:44] Speaker 5: that has proceeded above and ahead of me.
[1:06:50] Speaker 3: This is what I believe.
[1:06:52] Speaker 5: I told you yesterday, or was, yes, yesterday. It's impossible
[1:06:56] Speaker 5: for everybody.
[1:06:57] Speaker 3: To hate you. Even Satan is not hated by everybody.
[1:07:00] Speaker 3: I said it yesterday. Terrorists have wives. A woman who saw.
[1:07:05] Speaker 5: Him as a terrorist and said, yes, I'm going to
[1:07:07] Speaker 5: marry you. And brothers have wives. Everybody cannot hate you.
[1:07:13] Speaker 5: You have just been meeting the wrong people.
[1:07:15] Speaker 3: It's not your assignment to find the right people. You
[1:07:18] Speaker 3: are guided the steps of a good man. Talk to
[1:07:21] Speaker 3: me believers. Are ordered by who? Let me tell you something.
[1:07:29] Speaker 5: When god wants to give you visibility one of the
[1:07:32] Speaker 5: things that god does is to change your audience to
[1:07:36] Speaker 5: the right people there are many gifted people but because
[1:07:41] Speaker 5: you are positioned around the wrong people it is painful
[1:07:45] Speaker 5: when you are gifted but the people hearing you are
[1:07:48] Speaker 5: not the ones mandated to bless you They will disregard
[1:07:51] Speaker 5: what you carry no matter how much you carry it.
[1:07:54] Speaker 5: There are CEOs today that are a global impotential.
[1:07:59] Speaker 3: But the people around their lives do not have the
[1:08:02] Speaker 3: capacity to discern, recognize, nor honor what they carry.
[1:08:07] Speaker 5: Everybody you see lifted came across this miracle of being repositioned.
[1:08:12] Speaker 3: To the right people. Let me tell you how visibility happens.
[1:08:16] Speaker 3: God brings you to the audience that have been praying
[1:08:19] Speaker 3: for your grace.
[1:08:22] Speaker 5: Whether you are in music ministry, whether you are in
[1:08:24] Speaker 5: word ministry, don't ignore what I'm saying.
[1:08:27] Speaker 3: You will suffer in life and ministry. Honestly, if you
[1:08:30] Speaker 3: ignore it, it's true.
[1:08:33] Speaker 5: Somebody looks at you and says, does this not look
[1:08:35] Speaker 5: like the person we have been praying for? And don't
[1:08:38] Speaker 5: say there are many people. That's not your business. Your
[1:08:41] Speaker 5: possibilities are defined by your faith and conviction. Don't say
[1:08:44] Speaker 5: there are many people.
[1:08:46] Speaker 1: No.
[1:08:46] Speaker 5: Someone can look at you and say, based on this,
[1:08:50] Speaker 5: you look like the secretary I've been praying for. And
[1:08:54] Speaker 5: then the person now says, how much should I give you?
[1:08:57] Speaker 5: And God says, keep quiet.
[1:08:59] Speaker 3: You would have said 20.
[1:09:00] Speaker 5: Person says, can you manage 2.5? And you almost want
[1:09:06] Speaker 5: to fall down. But because of how the person perceives you,
[1:09:10] Speaker 5: the person will think, listen, when you get into the
[1:09:13] Speaker 5: atmosphere of the right people, they will perceive you sometimes
[1:09:17] Speaker 5: to a point of flattery. You will think they are.
[1:09:19] Speaker 3: Lying to you. Believe what I'm telling you.
[1:09:24] Speaker 5: This is how God lifted me up. Once upon a
[1:09:29] Speaker 5: time with all, of course I know that everybody has
[1:09:31] Speaker 5: that face. You can go somewhere where you are not
[1:09:34] Speaker 5: honored and appreciated. As you are climbing the bike, go in.
[1:09:37] Speaker 5: They will bring out the honorarium like a bride. And
[1:09:39] Speaker 5: squeeze it in a 2A exercise book. And say, please,
[1:09:42] Speaker 5: as you are going there, thank you. But when God
[1:09:47] Speaker 5: wants to help a man. God puts together the audience
[1:09:51] Speaker 5: that have both the resources and the recognition of what
[1:09:55] Speaker 5: God has given you and God will flaunt you like
[1:09:58] Speaker 5: a trophy in the presence of your helpers and that
[1:10:00] Speaker 5: becomes the end of it you will never go to
[1:10:03] Speaker 5: the prison again let me prophesy over someone in the
[1:10:06] Speaker 5: name that is above all names I'm praying for you
[1:10:09] Speaker 5: may God reposition you to the right people may my
[1:10:13] Speaker 5: God reposition you to the right audience may my God
[1:10:16] Speaker 5: reposition you to.
[1:10:17] Speaker 3: The right people.
[1:10:24] Speaker 5: I have five minutes let's tie this up what is
[1:10:26] Speaker 5: the prayer of faith so number one please be seated
[1:10:31] Speaker 5: word based word compliant scripture based prayer number two what
[1:10:37] Speaker 5: is the prayer of faith the prayer of faith is
[1:10:41] Speaker 5: prayers in accordance to the revealed will of God Prayers
[1:10:48] Speaker 5: that is in accordance to the revealed will of God.
[1:10:53] Speaker 5: 1 John 5, 14 and 15 please. Prayers that is
[1:10:58] Speaker 5: in accordance.
[1:10:59] Speaker 3: To the revealed will of God.
[1:11:03] Speaker 5: According to scripture, one of the ways that we redeem
[1:11:05] Speaker 5: time is to know the will of God. The Bible
[1:11:09] Speaker 5: says to walk circumspectly as wise and not as unwise.
[1:11:12] Speaker 5: Redeeming the time and that by knowing what the will
[1:11:16] Speaker 5: of God is.
[1:11:16] Speaker 3: Let's read this scripture. One to read please.
[1:11:19] Speaker 5: And this is the confidence we have in him.
[1:11:25] Speaker 3: According to his will. HCC shout it, say according to
[1:11:29] Speaker 3: his will. Say, according to His will. According to His will. Yes.
[1:11:36] Speaker 3: According to His will. That is the missing link for
[1:11:40] Speaker 3: many people's prayer.
[1:11:41] Speaker 5: They pray, but it's not according to His will. This
[1:11:46] Speaker 5: is the confidence we have. That if we ask anything
[1:11:50] Speaker 5: according to His will, He heareth us.
[1:11:52] Speaker 3: Verse 15.
[1:11:53] Speaker 5: It says, and if we know that he heareth us,
[1:11:58] Speaker 5: whatsoever we ask, we also know that we have the
[1:12:02] Speaker 5: petitions that we desired of him.
[1:12:06] Speaker 3: What is the prayer of faith?
[1:12:08] Speaker 5: Praying in accordance to the revealed will of God. Is
[1:12:12] Speaker 5: it the will of God to heal you? Do you
[1:12:15] Speaker 5: believe that? Do you have a scripture for it? Then
[1:12:18] Speaker 5: you can pray demanding healing. Is it the will of
[1:12:22] Speaker 5: God to bless you? Do you believe that? You see,
[1:12:26] Speaker 5: before you ask anything, verify if your.
[1:12:30] Speaker 3: Prayer request is consistent with the will of God. Verify.
[1:12:38] Speaker 5: Where it is not everything about your desire that is
[1:12:41] Speaker 5: stated directly in scripture. That is the advantage of praying
[1:12:45] Speaker 5: in the spirit. Every time the revealed will is unknown.
[1:12:49] Speaker 5: You pray in the spirit. Until the spirit who searches
[1:12:52] Speaker 5: the mind of God. When he reveals to you the
[1:12:55] Speaker 5: will of God. There must be a scripture that connects
[1:12:59] Speaker 5: to his will that you now know.
[1:13:02] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[1:13:04] Speaker 5: It is not everything you desire. That is directly written
[1:13:08] Speaker 5: in scripture. There is no name Lagos in scripture. There
[1:13:12] Speaker 5: is no name for where your house will be in scripture. Lord,
[1:13:16] Speaker 5: where am I going to be? That's where the prayer
[1:13:18] Speaker 5: language comes. The moment you begin to pray in the spirit,
[1:13:22] Speaker 5: the Bible tells us that the spirit of God is
[1:13:25] Speaker 5: the wisdom of God. That he has the unique ministry
[1:13:27] Speaker 5: to search the mind of the Father. And he can
[1:13:30] Speaker 5: transport to your understanding that which is consistent with the
[1:13:35] Speaker 5: will of God. He is able to reveal and help
[1:13:38] Speaker 5: you know the things that are freely given. but once
[1:13:43] Speaker 5: the will of god the knowledge of that will is
[1:13:46] Speaker 5: revealed the next thing is to switch back to what
[1:13:49] Speaker 5: compliant prayer hallelujah number three and i end here what
[1:13:58] Speaker 5: is the prayer of faith the prayer of faith is
[1:14:04] Speaker 5: persistent prayer persistent prayer prayer that does not stop till
[1:14:12] Speaker 5: the answers arrive james 5 17. the prayer of faith
[1:14:19] Speaker 5: is not a one-time prayer is the prayer of is
[1:14:22] Speaker 5: a prayer that holds on knowing that it may take
[1:14:27] Speaker 5: time but that the word of god will surely be
[1:14:30] Speaker 5: made manifest Elijah was a man subject to us. It's
[1:14:34] Speaker 5: still the same flow of scripture. Explaining to you what
[1:14:37] Speaker 5: the prayer of faith is. That the Bible later calls
[1:14:40] Speaker 5: a fervent and effectual prayer.
[1:14:43] Speaker 3: That avails much.
[1:14:45] Speaker 5: It says Elijah was a man subject to like passion
[1:14:48] Speaker 5: as we are. The Bible says he prayed earnestly. This
[1:14:51] Speaker 5: is one definition of the prayer of faith. The prayer
[1:14:54] Speaker 5: that is prayed earnestly.
[1:14:57] Speaker 3: Persistence. Consistence. That it might not rain.
[1:15:02] Speaker 5: And the Bible says it rained not on the earth
[1:15:05] Speaker 5: by a space of three years and six months.
[1:15:08] Speaker 3: Next verse.
[1:15:09] Speaker 5: The Bible says, and he prayed again. And he prayed again.
[1:15:18] Speaker 5: And he prayed again. He prayed in January. He still
[1:15:23] Speaker 5: prayed in February. He still prayed in March. Again is
[1:15:28] Speaker 5: what makes any prayer possible. The prayer of faith. You
[1:15:32] Speaker 5: pray again. You pray again. You pray again. You pray again.
[1:15:42] Speaker 5: Do not think you're praying again.
[1:15:44] Speaker 3: It's a sign of unbelief. It's not true. It depends
[1:15:47] Speaker 3: on what you are saying.
[1:15:49] Speaker 5: Jesus prayed repeating the same words again.
[1:15:54] Speaker 3: Repeating the same words. Pray again.
[1:15:59] Speaker 5: In Luke chapter 18 and verse 1, the Bible says
[1:16:02] Speaker 5: he spake this parable to the end that men ought
[1:16:05] Speaker 5: always to pray and not to faint. Then the Bible
[1:16:08] Speaker 5: gives us a very interesting scenario that there was a
[1:16:12] Speaker 5: man who did not fear God nor regard men.
[1:16:16] Speaker 3: May you never meet such a man.
[1:16:18] Speaker 5: A man that doesn't fear God and a man that
[1:16:22] Speaker 5: does not regard men. That is a dangerous man. I
[1:16:25] Speaker 5: say it again. May you not meet such a person.
[1:16:29] Speaker 5: Then the Bible says there was a very frail widow.
[1:16:33] Speaker 3: What does it mean? All her support systems had left her.
[1:16:37] Speaker 5: From a physical standpoint she did not have much. The
[1:16:40] Speaker 5: Bible says she.
[1:16:41] Speaker 3: Came to him saying. Avenge me mine adversary.
[1:16:45] Speaker 5: Verse 4. The Bible says for a while he would
[1:16:49] Speaker 5: not do that. But afterwards he said to himself. Though
[1:16:52] Speaker 5: I fear not God nor regard man.
[1:16:54] Speaker 3: Verse 5.
[1:16:55] Speaker 5: He says yet this widow troubled me. And how does
[1:17:00] Speaker 5: she trouble him? I will avenge her less by her
[1:17:03] Speaker 5: continual coming.
[1:17:05] Speaker 3: He's teaching the character of prayer that works.
[1:17:08] Speaker 5: That this is a frail woman with no ability to
[1:17:11] Speaker 5: fight this man physically.
[1:17:12] Speaker 3: But she used the power of persistence. The Bible says,
[1:17:16] Speaker 3: give him no.
[1:17:17] Speaker 5: Rest until he establishes Jerusalem as a place. Is it
[1:17:23] Speaker 5: alright to pay for something for one year, for two years?
[1:17:26] Speaker 5: Ask Abraham for 25 years. And the Bible says, and
[1:17:30] Speaker 5: after he patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Persistence in
[1:17:35] Speaker 5: the spirit is a sign of stamina. It's proof you
[1:17:38] Speaker 5: still believe God. And the prayer of faith shall heal
[1:17:47] Speaker 5: the sick. And the Lord shall raise him up. Please
[1:17:51] Speaker 5: rise up on your feet. Please rise up on your
[1:18:01] Speaker 5: feet We are wrapping up I want to speak over
[1:18:05] Speaker 5: your life I share the burden that is in the
[1:18:13] Speaker 5: heart of God's servant To see you produce results This
[1:18:19] Speaker 5: conference is called Exploits Even of faith and by faith
[1:18:24] Speaker 5: God wants us.
[1:18:25] Speaker 3: To produce potent results. He is glorified.
[1:18:29] Speaker 5: You have tabernacled here from the start of this conference,
[1:18:32] Speaker 5: wrapping up tomorrow.
[1:18:34] Speaker 3: And I want you to pray one more prayer. Just
[1:18:36] Speaker 3: one more prayer. Father, give me an evidence.
[1:18:40] Speaker 5: Let there be an evidence in my life that you
[1:18:45] Speaker 5: have visited me.
[1:18:46] Speaker 3: Go ahead and pray.
[1:18:49] Speaker 5: Let there be an evidence in my life let there
[1:18:57] Speaker 5: be an evidence
