[0:01] Speaker 1: Glory to God. Hallelujah.
[0:18] Speaker 2: Thank you, Jesus. Blessings to you, everybody. It's good to
[0:24] Speaker 2: see us. Pastor Shola, thank you. Thank you so very much.
[0:30] Speaker 2: If I had my way, I would switch on the mic.
[0:33] Speaker 2: I would switch off the mic while he was talking.
[0:36] Speaker 1: And my turn is coming, sir. In the name of Jesus.
[0:41] Speaker 1: But I honor every man and woman of God here represented.
[0:45] Speaker 1: I was so blessed listening to Pastor Yemi. David, so
[0:51] Speaker 1: profoundly blessed. And let me start up front by... just
[0:57] Speaker 1: bringing my salutations and a word of strengthening to the
[1:00] Speaker 1: entire household of David for all that has happened. We
[1:04] Speaker 1: are responsible people, and I think this event has shown
[1:08] Speaker 1: the maturity of the body, that we are no longer children.
[1:11] Speaker 1: The pain of one is the pain of all. Hallelujah. Yes.
[1:16] Speaker 1: I have been touched myself at the overwhelming support that
[1:21] Speaker 1: has come from the body of Christ to Pastor Shola
[1:25] Speaker 1: and the household of David. I think this is what
[1:28] Speaker 1: we have cried for, prayed for, and proposed for many years,
[1:32] Speaker 1: that we must have a body consciousness, that it is
[1:35] Speaker 1: in us being strengthened together that we stand. And so
[1:39] Speaker 1: on behalf of Jesus, myself, and the ministry, I'm communicating
[1:44] Speaker 1: my word of encouragement that In spite of all that
[1:49] Speaker 1: has happened, the Bible says, while we look not at
[1:52] Speaker 1: the things which are seen, but the things which are unseen.
[1:57] Speaker 1: For the things that are seen are temporal, it says,
[2:02] Speaker 1: but the things that are unseen are eternal. It says,
[2:05] Speaker 1: for our light afflictions, which walketh in us, but for
[2:11] Speaker 1: a moment, it says, that it walks in us eternally.
[2:15] Speaker 1: far more exceeding weight of glory. I believe that this
[2:19] Speaker 1: is the testimony of household of David. In the name
[2:23] Speaker 1: of Jesus. So Pastor Shola, thank you so much for
[2:26] Speaker 1: your strength. You and your wife and the leadership. You
[2:29] Speaker 1: have demonstrated spiritual maturity, resilience. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. His
[3:06] Speaker 1: method to lift. His method to bless. His method to
[3:11] Speaker 1: bring us into possibilities in the spirit. Has always been
[3:15] Speaker 1: his word. But his word that is understood. And engaged
[3:19] Speaker 1: by faith. Are we ready to receive one more time?
[3:22] Speaker 1: Let's lift up our hands to heaven. And ask the
[3:25] Speaker 1: spirit of grace to help us one more time. One
[3:32] Speaker 1: more time. Go ahead and pray.
[3:38] Speaker 3: King of kings, Lord of lords, faithful and true.
[3:45] Speaker 1: Lamb of God, we worship you.
[3:52] Speaker 3: King of kings, Lord of lords, faithful and true, Lamb
[4:00] Speaker 3: of God, we worship you. The King of kings, Lord
[4:10] Speaker 3: of lords, faithful and true, Lamb of.
[4:16] Speaker 1: God, we worship you. One more time, we'll pray. King
[4:23] Speaker 1: of kings, Lord of lords, faithful and true, Lamb of God,
[4:32] Speaker 1: we worship you. Hallelujah. John said, I wept because no
[4:43] Speaker 1: man was worthy to open the book and unlock the
[4:47] Speaker 1: seals thereof. And the elder tapped him and said, Weep not,
[4:51] Speaker 1: for the lion of the tribe of Judah, even the
[4:54] Speaker 1: root of David, is worthy, deserving. He says, I looked
[5:00] Speaker 1: and I saw upon a throne a lamb as though
[5:04] Speaker 1: had been slain, having seven horns. And seven eyes. Which
[5:09] Speaker 1: are the seven spirits of God. You know the meaning
[5:12] Speaker 1: of that statement? The eyes represent revelation. And the horns
[5:20] Speaker 1: represent authority. For every dimension of revelation in the spirit.
[5:26] Speaker 1: There is an authority component. That must justify that revelation.
[5:31] Speaker 1: Meaning every time the word of God comes. you must
[5:36] Speaker 1: contend for number one, the revelation, but press further to
[5:41] Speaker 1: access the authority component that gives you the grace to
[5:46] Speaker 1: defend that truth. So it's not enough to have rhema.
[5:50] Speaker 1: It's not enough to have revelation. The end of your
[5:54] Speaker 1: pursuit is not complete until the authority component that backs
[6:00] Speaker 1: your revelation is also received. The Bible says there are
[6:05] Speaker 1: a group of people who are ever learning but never
[6:09] Speaker 1: coming unto the knowledge of the truth. So it is
[6:12] Speaker 1: not enough to know. It is not enough to be aware.
[6:16] Speaker 1: It is not enough to be excited. You must press
[6:19] Speaker 1: for that understanding. And then with it you must pray
[6:23] Speaker 1: for the engracing that empowers you to be a living
[6:27] Speaker 1: proof of that which you have received. Hallelujah. Please be seated.
[6:32] Speaker 1: May God bless you. In the name of Jesus. Now,
[6:38] Speaker 1: I just want to introduce... I call them foundational pillars.
[6:47] Speaker 1: I was very blessed when I saw the theme for
[6:50] Speaker 1: this conference, the resurrection. And I think, Pastor, this represents
[6:56] Speaker 1: the epicenter. Most believers do not excel in their faith
[7:02] Speaker 1: adventure primarily because... Our knowledge, spiritual knowledge is not organized.
[7:10] Speaker 1: It's not synergized to produce a victorious believer. There is
[7:14] Speaker 1: a way God designed that men would know him. And
[7:18] Speaker 1: there is an apostolic order. Of accessing spiritual knowledge. Hallelujah.
[7:25] Speaker 1: An apostolic model that was delivered to the early church.
[7:28] Speaker 1: That means there is a template by which the average
[7:31] Speaker 1: believer must submit himself to. To be holistically built. Now
[7:36] Speaker 1: you are at liberty to freelance spiritual knowledge here and there.
[7:40] Speaker 1: But it will not be organized to produce a victorious life.
[7:44] Speaker 1: This is the tragedy with many believers. So we know
[7:47] Speaker 1: little of many dimensions in the spirit. Like a man
[7:51] Speaker 1: who wants to build a house like this. You have
[7:54] Speaker 1: a zinc here, you have the cement here, you have
[7:57] Speaker 1: the ions here, but you are not able to organize
[8:00] Speaker 1: them to produce a victorious life. So there's hardly any
[8:04] Speaker 1: dimension of truth you communicate that believers are absolutely ignorant of.
[8:09] Speaker 1: The key is to be able to organize it to
[8:12] Speaker 1: produce a victorious life. We know that prayer is important
[8:16] Speaker 1: in the believer's walk. We know that giving is important
[8:19] Speaker 1: in the believer's walk. Are we together? We know that
[8:22] Speaker 1: a sound mind is important in the believer's walk. We
[8:26] Speaker 1: know that an understanding of authority is important. But to
[8:29] Speaker 1: be able to synergize them together to produce a victorious
[8:34] Speaker 1: Christian life. is where many people are found wanting and
[8:39] Speaker 1: it is for this singular reason the bible says he
[8:42] Speaker 1: gave unto some that he led captivity captive and he
[8:46] Speaker 1: gave gifts as men to men some he gave apostles
[8:51] Speaker 1: some he gave prophets some he gave evangelists pastors and
[8:56] Speaker 1: teachers to what end the bible says for the perfecting
[9:00] Speaker 1: the maturing of the saints That the saints now in
[9:03] Speaker 1: their matured state will do the work of the ministry.
[9:06] Speaker 1: That we all together will grow into the fullness of
[9:10] Speaker 1: the stature of the measure of Christ. He says, not
[9:13] Speaker 1: tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and
[9:17] Speaker 1: the slight of men wherein they lie to deceive. Hallelujah.
[9:22] Speaker 1: So it is important for us to know that we
[9:26] Speaker 1: must contend for methodical spiritual growth. And so when I
[9:31] Speaker 1: saw this teaching about resurrection, for me, my heart really
[9:35] Speaker 1: reached out to the teaching because in this single topic
[9:39] Speaker 1: contains the power, the victory of the believer in Christ.
[9:44] Speaker 1: 1 Corinthians chapter 15, please. Let's begin our reading from
[9:49] Speaker 1: verse 1. And I please request that you lend me
[9:52] Speaker 1: your attention. 1 Corinthians 15 and verse 1. Moreover, brethren,
[9:58] Speaker 1: I declare unto you the gospel... which I preached unto you,
[10:02] Speaker 1: which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand. Notice
[10:07] Speaker 1: the construction of Paul. Paul is a very intelligent man.
[10:10] Speaker 1: Not just a spiritual man. His discourse is very articulate.
[10:15] Speaker 1: He's now saying there is an understanding you stand upon.
[10:18] Speaker 1: He's doing a recap. And then he says, verse 2 now.
[10:22] Speaker 1: By which ye also are saved, if ye keep in
[10:27] Speaker 1: memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed
[10:32] Speaker 1: in vain. Verse 3 now. He says, for I delivered
[10:37] Speaker 1: unto you first of all that which I also received.
[10:40] Speaker 1: What did he deliver? How that Christ died for our
[10:44] Speaker 1: sins according to the scripture. Number 1. Number 2. Verse 4.
[10:50] Speaker 1: And that he was buried. Number two. And then the
[10:55] Speaker 1: third point is that he rose again on the third day.
[10:58] Speaker 1: According to the scripture. Verse four now. It says he
[11:02] Speaker 1: was seen of Cephas. And of the twelve. Next verse please.
[11:07] Speaker 1: After that he was seen of above five hundred brethren
[11:14] Speaker 1: at once. Of whom the greater part are alive unto
[11:18] Speaker 1: this time. Let's stop there because of time. The full
[11:22] Speaker 1: text is to verse 20. So he gives us the
[11:26] Speaker 1: framework of what we call the gospel or salvation. He says,
[11:31] Speaker 1: this is the truth upon which you stand. That number one,
[11:35] Speaker 1: Christ died for your sin according to the scripture. Number two,
[11:40] Speaker 1: he was buried, the Bible says. And then number three,
[11:44] Speaker 1: that he rose again. Are we together now? And that
[11:47] Speaker 1: in his death, Resurrection he was seen of many as proof.
[11:53] Speaker 1: There are certain foundational pillars that all believers must have.
[11:59] Speaker 1: If we are to walk victorious. This becomes the basis
[12:03] Speaker 1: of your faith. This becomes the basis of your exploits.
[12:07] Speaker 1: This becomes the basis of your confidence. The understanding of
[12:12] Speaker 1: the believer. As far as redemption is concerned. Was designed
[12:16] Speaker 1: to be framed around these truths. And I'll just list
[12:19] Speaker 1: four of them very quickly. Number one. The first foundational pillar.
[12:28] Speaker 1: That represents the basis for the gospel. The basis for
[12:32] Speaker 1: salvation is the earth work of Jesus or his humanity.
[12:38] Speaker 1: The journey that culminated to salvation and the victory of
[12:42] Speaker 1: the believer did not just start at his death. It
[12:45] Speaker 1: is important to understand the implication of Jesus' becoming a man.
[12:52] Speaker 1: Are we together? 1 Timothy chapter 3 and verse 16.
[12:56] Speaker 1: Please let's hurry up so that I keep my promise.
[13:01] Speaker 1: The Bible says, and without controversy. Watch this now. Great
[13:06] Speaker 1: is the mystery of godliness. What is the mystery? That
[13:09] Speaker 1: God became a man. If God did not become a man,
[13:15] Speaker 1: number one, he would not be able to die. Are
[13:18] Speaker 1: we together now? Because God does not die. Spirits don't die. No.
[13:24] Speaker 1: It's not a reality with spirits. The concept of death
[13:27] Speaker 1: in the realm of the spirit is separation. The distance
[13:31] Speaker 1: between you and reality. That is how death is measured
[13:35] Speaker 1: in the spirit. But in the physical realm, in terms
[13:38] Speaker 1: of cessation of existence as it were, living, being separated
[13:43] Speaker 1: from your physical body, it does not happen to spirits.
[13:47] Speaker 1: So God needed to become a man. Because I hope
[13:50] Speaker 1: you know the Bible says the heaven of heavens belong
[13:52] Speaker 1: to the Lord, but the earth has he given to
[13:54] Speaker 1: the sons of men. And there are many conditions for
[13:59] Speaker 1: you to be called a man. I was discussing yesterday
[14:03] Speaker 1: at the meeting with Pastor Akin. Not every creation of
[14:08] Speaker 1: God can be called man. There are certain conditions that
[14:11] Speaker 1: must be satisfied for any entity to be called man.
[14:14] Speaker 1: Number one, you must be a spirit. Number two, that
[14:18] Speaker 1: spirit must be domiciled in a mortal body. If that
[14:22] Speaker 1: spirit is not domiciled in a mortal body, it cannot
[14:25] Speaker 1: be called man. Number three, there must be solical expressions
[14:29] Speaker 1: that connect that spirit to the body, the will, the emotion,
[14:32] Speaker 1: and the intellect. Any entity that has these factors coexisting
[14:37] Speaker 1: together is called man. And they are the only legitimate
[14:42] Speaker 1: people who have access to authority and power upon the earth.
[14:48] Speaker 1: Are we learning now? So the humanity of Jesus is
[14:51] Speaker 1: very important. In John chapter 1 and verse 14. John
[14:54] Speaker 1: 1 verse 14 very quickly. The Bible lets us know.
[14:57] Speaker 1: John 1 verse 14. Help us media. It says, and
[15:03] Speaker 1: the word became flesh and it dwelt among us and
[15:07] Speaker 1: we beheld his glory. Even as of the father, full
[15:12] Speaker 1: of grace and truth. Why did Jesus become a man?
[15:17] Speaker 1: Very quickly, number one. He came as an accurate representation
[15:21] Speaker 1: of the father. He came as a correction to our
[15:25] Speaker 1: understanding of the misunderstood God. Jesus did not just come
[15:29] Speaker 1: to die. His first assignment was to correct the idea
[15:35] Speaker 1: that the prophets hitherto had proposed about God. Because until
[15:39] Speaker 1: Jesus came, the basis for the accurate knowledge of God
[15:43] Speaker 1: was not possible. Are we together? Yes. And so men
[15:47] Speaker 1: wrote their understanding of God based on the perspectives that
[15:51] Speaker 1: they saw. So Jesus came as perfect theology. He walked
[15:55] Speaker 1: upon the earth and gave us an opportunity to study him.
[15:58] Speaker 1: So that we will be able to learn God more accurately.
[16:02] Speaker 1: This is very important. Jesus also came walking upon the
[16:08] Speaker 1: earth as a pattern man. He came to create a
[16:11] Speaker 1: model for a victorious earth work. If Jesus just appeared
[16:16] Speaker 1: and died without growing and walking upon the earth, we
[16:19] Speaker 1: would not have a template for the model for a
[16:21] Speaker 1: victorious life. Are we together? So the Bible says, looking
[16:25] Speaker 1: unto Jesus, we can study from the earth work of Jesus,
[16:29] Speaker 1: a portrait, God's intent as to how the believer was
[16:33] Speaker 1: designed to function. The humanity. Why did he become a man?
[16:40] Speaker 1: He became a man so that he could put upon
[16:43] Speaker 1: himself the sin of all men and die. You find
[16:47] Speaker 1: that for reference in Romans chapter 5, 12 to 19.
[16:52] Speaker 1: My apologies that I'm just rushing and stretching us. Romans
[16:55] Speaker 1: chapter 5, 12 to 19. The Bible says, Wherefore as
[16:59] Speaker 1: by one man sin entered into the world. How did
[17:02] Speaker 1: sin enter? By one man. And death came by sin.
[17:06] Speaker 1: So death was a natural consequence. Death was a product.
[17:11] Speaker 1: It was an evolution with time as a result of
[17:14] Speaker 1: the presence of sin. It was important for Jesus to
[17:18] Speaker 1: become a man. He could not carry the sin of
[17:21] Speaker 1: the world as God. No. He had to become a man.
[17:25] Speaker 1: If you want to understand salvation, redemption, and the victory
[17:29] Speaker 1: that was derived thereof, you must understand and respect the
[17:34] Speaker 1: humanity of Jesus. Are we learning now? Yes. His humanity
[17:46] Speaker 1: was the basis I wrote here for his becoming sin.
[17:52] Speaker 1: If he did not become a man, he would not
[17:54] Speaker 1: be able to be seen for us to now be
[17:56] Speaker 1: the righteousness of God. The very next point, let me
[17:58] Speaker 1: hurry up. The next pillar upon which redemption lies is
[18:04] Speaker 1: his death. So number one, his humanity, his earth work.
[18:08] Speaker 1: Number two, his death. Why did he have to die?
[18:13] Speaker 1: Isn't it amazing that as powerful as God is, he
[18:17] Speaker 1: could not cast sin out of men. There had to
[18:20] Speaker 1: be a legitimate protocol that was followed. Amazing. As powerful
[18:25] Speaker 1: as God is, you would think he would just make
[18:27] Speaker 1: one divine pronouncement. After all, we are his creation. It
[18:32] Speaker 1: would not be injustice if he did that. And yet
[18:35] Speaker 1: he chose to follow the route of death. Why did
[18:39] Speaker 1: he die? Let me summarize very quickly. The death of
[18:43] Speaker 1: Jesus gave him the legal rights to go to Hades.
[18:46] Speaker 1: Without death, there would be no legitimate path for him
[18:50] Speaker 1: to go to Hades, the place of the dead. Where
[18:53] Speaker 1: he would purchase victory for the believers. Acts chapter 2
[18:56] Speaker 1: and verse 27. Is someone learning already? Acts 2.27. My God.
[19:01] Speaker 1: You see, this is the understanding that sponsors confidence in
[19:05] Speaker 1: the Spirit. When you stand to speak to the sick
[19:08] Speaker 1: and say, be healed. When you stand to prophesy to
[19:11] Speaker 1: your destiny. When you stand to pray. There is an
[19:14] Speaker 1: understanding wherein from whence your confidence comes. This is it.
[19:19] Speaker 1: The Bible says because Paul was, Peter was preaching now.
[19:23] Speaker 1: Thou will not leave thy soul in hell. Speaking about Jesus.
[19:27] Speaker 1: Neither thou will suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
[19:33] Speaker 1: Colossians chapter 2 from verse 14 and 15. Let's hurry up.
[19:36] Speaker 1: Colossians 2, 14 and 15. Why did Jesus die? Blotting
[19:41] Speaker 1: out every handwriting. That death granted him access to Hades.
[19:46] Speaker 1: And that was where this happened. Blotting out the handwriting.
[19:50] Speaker 1: of ordinances that was against us which was contrary to
[19:54] Speaker 1: us the bible says he took it out of the
[19:56] Speaker 1: way nailing it to his cross the next verse please
[19:59] Speaker 1: the bible says and haven't spoiled principalities and powers where
[20:04] Speaker 1: did that happen He made a public show of them,
[20:09] Speaker 1: triumphing over them in it. What was the significance of
[20:13] Speaker 1: his death? Therefore, number one, his death was the highest
[20:18] Speaker 1: revelation of God's love for us. Greater love had no
[20:22] Speaker 1: man than this, that a man lay down his life
[20:25] Speaker 1: for his friend. The death of Jesus was proof indeed
[20:30] Speaker 1: of God's love. John 15, 13. Romans 5, 8. His
[20:38] Speaker 1: death was the highest revelation of God's love. Give us
[20:44] Speaker 1: Romans 5.8. But God commended his love towards us. Let's
[20:51] Speaker 1: read together. In that while we were yet sinners, Christ
[20:56] Speaker 1: died for us. So his death for us was proof
[21:00] Speaker 1: of his love. Now watch this. In his death, I
[21:03] Speaker 1: wrote here, the penalty for sin was paid and the
[21:07] Speaker 1: legal claims of justice were satisfied. It was not in
[21:12] Speaker 1: his hanging on the cross. It was in his dying.
[21:16] Speaker 1: When he died, the legal claims of justice were satisfied
[21:21] Speaker 1: and the price for sin was paid. Mark 10, 45.
[21:25] Speaker 1: Mark chapter 10 and verse 45, please. Mark 10, 45.
[21:31] Speaker 1: 45 let's read together ready one to read don't be
[21:34] Speaker 1: tired of scriptures for even the son of man came
[21:38] Speaker 1: not to be ministered to but to minister and to
[21:42] Speaker 1: give his life as a take note of that word
[21:46] Speaker 1: ransom terrorism has helped us sadly to understand what ransom
[21:51] Speaker 1: means are we together he gave his life as a
[21:56] Speaker 1: ransom the means to buy back He gave his life
[22:01] Speaker 1: as a ransom. Colossians 1.22. Colossians 1.22. Colossians chapter 1
[22:13] Speaker 1: and verse 22. Do we have that? Thank you. In
[22:17] Speaker 1: the body of his flesh, that through death. To present
[22:23] Speaker 1: you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in his sight. What
[22:28] Speaker 1: was the means for that presentation? Death. It was through
[22:32] Speaker 1: death that he now presented us holy, unblameable and unreprovable.
[22:38] Speaker 1: Let me give you the last scripture. Hebrews 2 and
[22:40] Speaker 1: verse 4. Please write it down. This is very important.
[22:45] Speaker 1: Many believers know Jesus died but they do not know
[22:48] Speaker 1: why he died. The Bible says, God also bearing them witness.
[22:56] Speaker 1: Hebrews 2.14. Is that what we have there? Hebrews 2
[23:00] Speaker 1: and verse 14. Thank you. For as much then as
[23:05] Speaker 1: the children are partakers of flesh and blood, is that
[23:08] Speaker 1: he also himself likewise took part of the same. Let's
[23:12] Speaker 1: read together. That through death, hallelujah, he might destroy him
[23:17] Speaker 1: that had the power of death. How did it destroy
[23:22] Speaker 1: him that had the power of death? Through death. Not
[23:26] Speaker 1: through speaking. Not through prophesying. Through death. The next pillar
[23:33] Speaker 1: that represents the basis for salvation and redemption is his burial.
[23:38] Speaker 1: This is an aspect most believers do not even know
[23:40] Speaker 1: anything about. They just think death, then they think resurrection.
[23:45] Speaker 1: The value of resurrection is that you understand his humanity.
[23:50] Speaker 1: You understand his death. You understand his burial. Why was
[23:54] Speaker 1: he buried? Let me show you very quickly. Number one,
[24:00] Speaker 1: the burial proved that he really died. The burial gave
[24:06] Speaker 1: evidence to his death. Luke 23, 50 to 53, please.
[24:11] Speaker 1: If a burial did not happen, there would be no
[24:14] Speaker 1: basis for you to believe that he actually died. And behold,
[24:19] Speaker 1: there came a man called Joseph, Joseph of Arimathea, a counselor.
[24:24] Speaker 1: A wise and a good man, and he was a
[24:25] Speaker 1: just man. Next verse, please, very quickly. The Bible says,
[24:28] Speaker 1: the same had consented the counselor. and deed of them
[24:32] Speaker 1: the bible says he was of arimathea the city of
[24:35] Speaker 1: the jews and so on and so forth next verse
[24:38] Speaker 1: this man went to pilate and begged for what the
[24:42] Speaker 1: body of jesus he didn't beg for jesus he begged
[24:46] Speaker 1: for the body the dead body of jesus next verse
[24:52] Speaker 1: And he took it down and wrapped it in linen.
[24:56] Speaker 1: You don't wrap a man who is alive that way.
[24:58] Speaker 1: He wrapped it in linen and laid it in a sepulcher.
[25:03] Speaker 1: And it was hewn in stone wherein no man had
[25:08] Speaker 1: ever laid. Burial actually happened. A man donated his grave.
[25:14] Speaker 1: He wrapped Jesus like Lazarus was wrapped. See, the way
[25:19] Speaker 1: they wrapped people those days, even if you were lying,
[25:21] Speaker 1: you would die. Hallelujah. That they will wrap you in
[25:28] Speaker 1: a way that there was no hope it was over.
[25:32] Speaker 1: So it's not like he was just put in a
[25:34] Speaker 1: nice coffin and maybe he had the opportunity to pretend
[25:37] Speaker 1: and breathe. He was wrapped. They knew what it meant
[25:40] Speaker 1: to wrap people that way. Jesus really died. Are we together?
[25:46] Speaker 1: Jesus really died. Hallelujah. The burial proved that he really died.
[25:52] Speaker 1: It gave evidence to his death. Now, watch this. The
[25:56] Speaker 1: burial was what allowed the resurrection power to be on display.
[26:02] Speaker 1: We would never see and appreciate the resurrection power if
[26:05] Speaker 1: he was not buried. Because where the burial happened was
[26:09] Speaker 1: also where resurrection started. Are we learning? 1 Corinthians 15,
[26:19] Speaker 1: 55 to 56. You see that I made very simple
[26:24] Speaker 1: this morning because I want us to understand. It was
[26:27] Speaker 1: on the basis of the burial. that this statement could
[26:30] Speaker 1: become fulfilled. O death, where is your sting? O grave,
[26:36] Speaker 1: where is your victory? If he was left on the cross,
[26:41] Speaker 1: probably you could speak of death, but you would not
[26:43] Speaker 1: be able to speak of the grave. The next verse,
[26:47] Speaker 1: let's finish it. The sting of death is sin, and
[26:51] Speaker 1: the strength of sin is the law. O death, where
[26:55] Speaker 1: is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Hallelujah.
[27:01] Speaker 1: Now we'll take time to deal with the resurrection, hopefully
[27:05] Speaker 1: in the evening. But just for you to know as
[27:09] Speaker 1: a fact, 1 Corinthians 15, 3 to 8, we already
[27:12] Speaker 1: read it, that Jesus did not just die and remain
[27:16] Speaker 1: in the grave. The Bible lets us know based on
[27:19] Speaker 1: the authority of Scripture and the authority from eyewitnesses that
[27:23] Speaker 1: he actually resurrected. The Bible says, next verse please. And
[27:28] Speaker 1: that he was buried and that he rose again. Someone
[27:32] Speaker 1: say again. He rose again the third day according to
[27:38] Speaker 1: the scriptures. And the entire text to verse 20 was
[27:43] Speaker 1: a defense of the resurrection. Because I hope you know
[27:47] Speaker 1: the primary difference those days between the Pharisees and the
[27:50] Speaker 1: Sadducees was on matters of resurrection. They did not believe
[27:55] Speaker 1: resurrection happened. In fact, the Bible lets us know that
[27:59] Speaker 1: when the sepulcher was opened by the angel, he sat
[28:02] Speaker 1: on it, and Jesus resurrected by the glory of the Father,
[28:05] Speaker 1: that the people there took report. And they were paid
[28:09] Speaker 1: and said, you know what, make sure you add. You
[28:11] Speaker 1: say the disciples came to steal his body and that
[28:14] Speaker 1: he did not resurrect. And if there is any other matter,
[28:17] Speaker 1: we will use money to settle it. Isn't it amazing
[28:20] Speaker 1: that money was the first tool that was deployed to
[28:23] Speaker 1: stop the resurrection? We will give you money. Just make
[28:29] Speaker 1: sure that you do not agree and attest to the
[28:33] Speaker 1: fact that he rose again. But do you know That
[28:38] Speaker 1: it does not stop at the resurrection. As powerful as
[28:41] Speaker 1: resurrection is. The final pillar is his exaltation. Because he
[28:49] Speaker 1: resurrected and was walking upon the earth. But then the
[28:53] Speaker 1: Bible tells us. In John chapter 20. From verse 16
[29:01] Speaker 1: and 17. Is someone learning now? Yes. Jesus said unto her. Mary.
[29:08] Speaker 1: And she turned herself. And he said Rabboni. Which is
[29:12] Speaker 1: to say master. This is the resurrected Christ. Jesus said
[29:15] Speaker 1: unto her. Touch me not. Why? For I am resurrected.
[29:21] Speaker 1: But I have not yet ascended to my father. It
[29:25] Speaker 1: was Paul that gave us a very clear exegesis of
[29:28] Speaker 1: what happened when he went to the heavenly tabernacle. Because
[29:32] Speaker 1: having fulfilled his assignment as Savior, he needed to back
[29:36] Speaker 1: it up with the assignment as high priest. Are we together?
[29:39] Speaker 1: he had to go to the heavenly tabernacle and to
[29:42] Speaker 1: pour his blood upon that altar once and for all
[29:47] Speaker 1: because the law was that the age of the lamb
[29:50] Speaker 1: that was slain is what determined the validity of the
[29:53] Speaker 1: atonement And so the lamb was one years in ancient
[29:57] Speaker 1: times and the validity will be one years. Now the
[30:00] Speaker 1: lamb that is ageless went to put his blood upon
[30:03] Speaker 1: the tabernacle. So you have to measure the age of
[30:06] Speaker 1: the lamb that died to know how far the validity
[30:10] Speaker 1: of the atonement was equal to the age of the lamb. Hallelujah.
[30:16] Speaker 1: Ephesians chapter 1, 20 and 21. Paul was speaking to
[30:20] Speaker 1: the church in Ephesus. Still about the exaltation of the Christ.
[30:24] Speaker 1: The Bible says that you will know that which you
[30:26] Speaker 1: wrote in Christ when he raised him from the dead.
[30:30] Speaker 1: Does not stop there. And the Bible says he set
[30:33] Speaker 1: him at his own right hand in heavenly places. Let's continue.
[30:39] Speaker 1: Far above. Hallelujah. Let this be a prophetic word for someone.
[30:43] Speaker 1: That you are far above. Because the implication of the
[30:46] Speaker 1: resurrection is that it gave the basis for your oneness.
[30:51] Speaker 1: And then the positional advantage. Raised up with him. Ephesians
[30:54] Speaker 1: chapter 2 says. Far above all principality. Power, might, dominion.
[31:00] Speaker 1: And every name that is named. Not only in this world.
[31:04] Speaker 1: But that which is to come. His exaltation. Hebrews chapter 12.
[31:12] Speaker 1: And verse 2 I believe. The Bible says, looking unto Jesus,
[31:24] Speaker 1: the author and the finisher of our faith, who for
[31:27] Speaker 1: the joy that was set before him, read with me please,
[31:31] Speaker 1: he endured the cross, despising the shame, and today he's
[31:36] Speaker 1: been exalted and he's sitting at the right hand of
[31:38] Speaker 1: the Father. Let me show you one more scripture and
[31:40] Speaker 1: then we'll tie this up. Hebrews chapter 9, please. The
[31:45] Speaker 1: significance of his exaltation. Hebrews 9, 11 and 12. While
[31:52] Speaker 1: I was studying, I found this scripture and it really
[31:55] Speaker 1: blessed me. But Christ being come. And high priest of
[31:59] Speaker 1: good things to come. By a greater and more perfect tabernacle.
[32:04] Speaker 1: The Bible says. Not made with hands. That is to say.
[32:08] Speaker 1: Not of this building. Next verse please. The Bible says.
[32:11] Speaker 1: Neither by the blood of goats and calves. But by
[32:15] Speaker 1: his own blood. Read with me. He entered in once
[32:19] Speaker 1: into the holy place. And obtained for us eternal redemption.
[32:26] Speaker 1: Not temporal redemption. Eternal redemption. That did not just happen
[32:31] Speaker 1: because he died. He had to ascend to heaven. And
[32:36] Speaker 1: perform that high priestly duty. Now listen. His earth work.
[32:40] Speaker 1: His death. His burial. His resurrection. His ascension. Is the
[32:47] Speaker 1: basis for the believers victory today. If you believe only
[32:53] Speaker 1: one of these components. You are not a Christian. You
[32:57] Speaker 1: are not at liberty to choose anyone to believe. It
[33:00] Speaker 1: is a journey that must be believed. This is the
[33:03] Speaker 1: report that you must believe. That he came in the flesh.
[33:08] Speaker 1: Are we together now? And then that he actually died.
[33:12] Speaker 1: And that his burial was sealed. Proof that he died.
[33:16] Speaker 1: And that he resurrected by the glory of the father.
[33:19] Speaker 1: And that he ascended to heaven. He purchased for us
[33:22] Speaker 1: eternal redemption. And he is today. Seated at the right
[33:26] Speaker 1: hand of the father. when you understand all of this
[33:30] Speaker 1: then you will understand the mystery of identification that while
[33:33] Speaker 1: he was going through all of this paul began to
[33:36] Speaker 1: teach us that in him and with him we partook
[33:40] Speaker 1: of every of these stages when he died we died
[33:44] Speaker 1: in him we died with him when he was buried
[33:48] Speaker 1: he said buried with him in baptism when he resurrected
[33:52] Speaker 1: my god we resurrected with him too are we together
[33:56] Speaker 1: now I hope you know that everything he got in
[34:00] Speaker 1: his resurrection, he had before he died. But he had
[34:04] Speaker 1: it alone. Are you getting the whole thing now? Everything
[34:13] Speaker 1: that was given to him, the name, the office, he
[34:16] Speaker 1: had it already as God. But he relinquished it to
[34:19] Speaker 1: come and start the journey. But in doing that, he
[34:23] Speaker 1: connected man by covenant. And then when he had it back,
[34:27] Speaker 1: the joy of salvation is not Christ's victory. It's that
[34:31] Speaker 1: it was given to the believer. Worthy is the lamb
[34:36] Speaker 1: that was slain to receive, not for himself, to receive
[34:39] Speaker 1: for us. If your understanding of redemption is that Christ
[34:45] Speaker 1: is victorious. It is powerful. But it is not news.
[34:48] Speaker 1: The news is not Christ's victory. The news is the
[34:51] Speaker 1: fact that the believer today has become a partaker. That
[34:55] Speaker 1: was what made the death, burial and resurrection worth the while.
[34:59] Speaker 1: As God in heaven he was not threatened. He still
[35:02] Speaker 1: had all things. In him all things consist. But the
[35:06] Speaker 1: problem was man. So he relinquished his glory. He came
[35:10] Speaker 1: and walked through the protocol that will satisfy the legal
[35:14] Speaker 1: claims of justice. And in his resurrection and ascension, the
[35:19] Speaker 1: Bible says we are seated with him today. Can I
[35:21] Speaker 1: tell you, this is the correct basis, the epicenter, the
[35:26] Speaker 1: pivotal point of any and all activities of the believer.
[35:32] Speaker 1: When we pray, this is the confidence that should sponsor prayer.
[35:36] Speaker 1: I think one of the biggest problems that we're having
[35:39] Speaker 1: in the body of Christ now is that we're gradually
[35:42] Speaker 1: drifting into self-righteousness and putting our confidence upon things, including
[35:48] Speaker 1: human activities. It's the reason why we keep dissipating spiritual
[35:52] Speaker 1: energy with no corresponding authority. Because as well intentioned as
[35:58] Speaker 1: these activities are, the basis for the believer's excelling is
[36:02] Speaker 1: not tied to any achievement of himself. Are we together now?
[36:07] Speaker 1: So if you believe in your fasting more than you
[36:10] Speaker 1: believe in the finished work of Christ, you will be disappointed.
[36:13] Speaker 1: You believe in your prayer more than you believe in
[36:15] Speaker 1: the finished work of Christ. Don't get me wrong. These
[36:18] Speaker 1: are part of the principles that should lead to the
[36:21] Speaker 1: believer's victory. But that ultimately, the reason why the devil
[36:26] Speaker 1: respects you is nothing of yourself. It is what you
[36:28] Speaker 1: were given. This is powerful. For as long as Satan
[36:40] Speaker 1: can get us to believe that somebody will be healed,
[36:44] Speaker 1: just because I prayed, just because I fasted, just because
[36:48] Speaker 1: I studied the Bible, and all of these things, you
[36:51] Speaker 1: are already defeated. You will have what looks like a
[36:54] Speaker 1: semblance of victory, but it will never add up. Because
[36:57] Speaker 1: the jealousy of God will mandate that he becomes the
[37:00] Speaker 1: epicenter behind everything that glorifies Christ. I have studied some
[37:07] Speaker 1: of these mighty men that were used by God very greatly.
[37:11] Speaker 1: And you see, the kind of spiritual exercises in fasting
[37:15] Speaker 1: and prayer and consecration that they went through, most people
[37:19] Speaker 1: do not understand. But do you know beyond it, the
[37:22] Speaker 1: basis of their confidence was the fact that they were
[37:25] Speaker 1: not alone. They were so conscious of the finished work
[37:28] Speaker 1: of Christ, the victory that was wrought in Christ. Men
[37:32] Speaker 1: like T.L. Osborne, Reinhard Bonnke, with the simplicity of their faith,
[37:36] Speaker 1: they commanded marvelous triumph. Today we make more noise than them.
[37:41] Speaker 1: And there is a missing link, east and west of
[37:45] Speaker 1: difference in terms of results. Hallelujah. If you preach a
[37:53] Speaker 1: message like I've preached now in our generation, people look
[37:57] Speaker 1: at you and say you don't know much. Because in
[38:01] Speaker 1: the mind of the church and in our pride being
[38:05] Speaker 1: filled with knowledge, We believe that redemption realities are too
[38:10] Speaker 1: elementary for the results we are looking for. Yet, unfortunately,
[38:14] Speaker 1: this is the biggest threat to Satan. You can teach
[38:18] Speaker 1: any other thing. That's fine. You can teach opinions, you
[38:22] Speaker 1: can teach rituals. But when you come to bring Jesus
[38:27] Speaker 1: as the epicenter of the believer's victory. In fact, you
[38:31] Speaker 1: can even teach the victory of Christ. Once you do
[38:35] Speaker 1: not connect it to the believer, Satan is still comfortable.
[38:38] Speaker 1: The problem starts when you now begin to relate the
[38:41] Speaker 1: victory of Christ to the believer. You are about to
[38:44] Speaker 1: change that person's life. For a long time, I studied
[38:49] Speaker 1: redemption only from the point of appreciating the extent of
[38:54] Speaker 1: Christ's victory. But one day the Lord opened my eyes
[38:57] Speaker 1: to see that, listen, the basis for all that is
[39:01] Speaker 1: to empower you, to bring you into that God class.
[39:05] Speaker 1: So if you stop at just studying Jesus and you
[39:08] Speaker 1: do not see yourself in Him, you will be limited,
[39:11] Speaker 1: even though you know Him. Are we together? So, if
[39:15] Speaker 1: I look at someone who is sick now, and I
[39:18] Speaker 1: tell him, stand up from a wheelchair. It is God
[39:21] Speaker 1: who is at work in us, like you said, both
[39:23] Speaker 1: to will and to do. But there is a revelation
[39:26] Speaker 1: that sponsors that. A human being cannot produce that kind
[39:29] Speaker 1: of possibility. how do you come and stand before someone
[39:33] Speaker 1: who is medically crippled you are seeing it he's seeing
[39:37] Speaker 1: it intelligence attests to the fact that this person is
[39:40] Speaker 1: crippled and then you come in the name of jesus
[39:44] Speaker 1: you can recite the name and nothing happens because there
[39:47] Speaker 1: is a consciousness that empowers the name We use the
[39:50] Speaker 1: name today as a ritual to our disappointment. What really
[39:54] Speaker 1: empowers the name is the fact that when you are
[39:56] Speaker 1: standing before that person, you are seeing the cross and
[40:00] Speaker 1: you are seeing two people on that cross. You and Christ.
[40:02] Speaker 1: You are seeing the grave. Your revelation is complete when
[40:07] Speaker 1: you join him in that journey. Did you hear what
[40:10] Speaker 1: I said? Your revelation is not complete when you see
[40:13] Speaker 1: him in that journey. When you join him, that when
[40:16] Speaker 1: he hung upon that cross, Joshua Selman was also there.
[40:20] Speaker 1: Not because I could merit it. We were together in covenant.
[40:25] Speaker 1: So every time Satan says I want to stop you,
[40:28] Speaker 1: I tell him you have to stop two people. Because
[40:31] Speaker 1: that journey from then till forever is not about one
[40:34] Speaker 1: person again. You and Christ now become that unbeatable team.
[40:39] Speaker 1: When I hold the mic, it's two people speaking. You
[40:41] Speaker 1: are only seeing one. But you have seen the effect
[40:44] Speaker 1: of two people. You and the glory of the Father.
[40:47] Speaker 1: When you carry this consciousness, I am telling you, it
[40:50] Speaker 1: will turn your life around. God can give you a
[40:53] Speaker 1: project to build anything and go anywhere. And you will
[40:56] Speaker 1: know that he spoke to two people. When you are
[41:00] Speaker 1: conscious of being alone, you will fail in life. You
[41:03] Speaker 1: are already defeated. Are we learning? The grave. That is
[41:12] Speaker 1: the reason why we can minister life to people today.
[41:15] Speaker 1: Because we are partakers of the authority that sealed the grave.
[41:19] Speaker 1: You can look at someone appointed unto death. And stand
[41:23] Speaker 1: as a witness, as an ambassador of the kingdom. Without
[41:26] Speaker 1: bragging but with total confidence. And tell the person, I
[41:30] Speaker 1: stand representing the government of heaven. And we declare your
[41:34] Speaker 1: life extended. And it is stamped and registered in the spirit.
[41:42] Speaker 1: How about his resurrection? We'll talk about that in the night.
[41:45] Speaker 1: But his ascension is profound. The resurrection gave the basis
[41:49] Speaker 1: for his ascension. That he's seated today. You may not
[41:53] Speaker 1: look like it, but you must believe it. Believing in
[41:55] Speaker 1: that reality is what brings you in that place. Listen,
[41:59] Speaker 1: everybody you admire today started from a standpoint of defeat.
[42:03] Speaker 1: That is the default position for all men. But you
[42:10] Speaker 1: grow your way through understanding. You grow your way through understanding.
[42:15] Speaker 1: When you speak, you speak as an oracle of God.
[42:18] Speaker 1: Knowing that you are speaking from that ascended position. You see,
[42:22] Speaker 1: it's a position that demons understand. It's a position that
[42:25] Speaker 1: the realm of the spirit understands. But the saints do
[42:28] Speaker 1: not understand. That ascended position. When you tell people, be blessed.
[42:33] Speaker 1: When you tell people, may the Lord honor you. If
[42:35] Speaker 1: you speak as a preacher, you wasted your time. In fact,
[42:38] Speaker 1: if you speak as an apostle, well, maybe if you
[42:41] Speaker 1: know you ascend. Or you speak as a prophet. But
[42:46] Speaker 1: when you speak as one who is speaking from that
[42:48] Speaker 1: elevated altitude in the spirit, as an ordinary believer. Do
[42:52] Speaker 1: you know, pastor, one of the reasons why men of
[42:55] Speaker 1: God have so much trouble today is because we have
[42:59] Speaker 1: refused to bring the revelation that reproduces victory in believers.
[43:03] Speaker 1: So the burden is already destroying a few people. And
[43:06] Speaker 1: when the devil attacks one person, he can kill God's
[43:09] Speaker 1: program at once. The gifts were supposed to prepare the body.
[43:14] Speaker 1: Can I tell you, the proof that we are successful
[43:18] Speaker 1: is that believers come up in an accelerated dimension into
[43:21] Speaker 1: the stature of Christ. Not just that we are shining
[43:24] Speaker 1: as preachers. Shining as a preacher is not the way
[43:27] Speaker 1: the Martin script was designed to work. No. The degree
[43:32] Speaker 1: to which the average member in household of David rises
[43:36] Speaker 1: to a place of stature in the spirit is how
[43:38] Speaker 1: you measure the success of Pastor Shola and his wife.
[43:42] Speaker 1: And the leadership. Are we together? Let me announce to
[43:46] Speaker 1: you in the name of Jesus. That we are coming
[43:48] Speaker 1: into a season in the body of Christ. Where there
[43:51] Speaker 1: are men dead enough. Yielded enough. To release themselves to
[43:55] Speaker 1: be conduits. For many to experience God in his fullness.
[43:59] Speaker 1: Are we together now? Thank God for the lifting. Thank
[44:02] Speaker 1: God for all of this. The days of celebrity Christianity
[44:05] Speaker 1: is coming to an end. Where God is finding vessels
[44:08] Speaker 1: that are yielded. Passionate enough. To see the body of
[44:12] Speaker 1: Christ grow. The body of Christ mature. This is one
[44:22] Speaker 1: of the things that God has been speaking to me about.
[44:26] Speaker 1: That it is important we adopt that revelation that John adopted.
[44:30] Speaker 1: That I may decrease. So that Christ will increase. Our
[44:34] Speaker 1: assignment is not to sell flesh. To market ourselves. But
[44:39] Speaker 1: that by any means under God. We must become conduits
[44:42] Speaker 1: that empower the saints. Bring to the saints the truths
[44:46] Speaker 1: that are needed to build them holistically. And connect them
[44:51] Speaker 1: to the victory that is in Christ. I hope you
[44:53] Speaker 1: know we are not the ones who produce the victory.
[44:57] Speaker 1: So if someone gets healed or someone gets delivered, of
[45:01] Speaker 1: course they will thank God for the vessel. But in truth,
[45:05] Speaker 1: the glory goes to the one who died and purchased
[45:08] Speaker 1: eternal redemption. Ah, Elohim. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[45:53] Speaker 1: When God began to move with Kenneth Hagin, he was
[45:57] Speaker 1: not the only one. Who cuts that grace and that
[46:01] Speaker 1: man to his days. But many of the people ignored
[46:04] Speaker 1: the word. And they kept building on experiences and shadows.
[46:08] Speaker 1: And Kenneth Hagin made a statement. He said if they
[46:11] Speaker 1: were not restored to the authority of the word. To
[46:14] Speaker 1: see Christ and the realities of redemption as the basis
[46:18] Speaker 1: for their being powerful. They would not last. They laughed
[46:21] Speaker 1: at him and all of them faded away. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[46:26] Speaker 1: Anybody who is not Christocentric in his approach, that means
[46:31] Speaker 1: conscious of Christ and what he has done as the
[46:35] Speaker 1: basis for your victory. The weariness that befalls all men
[46:39] Speaker 1: will eventually catch up with you. So the day you
[46:42] Speaker 1: feel you have not fasted, the day you feel you
[46:45] Speaker 1: are not prepared, and let me tell you an honest truth.
[46:49] Speaker 1: When you start active ministry, if you do not know this,
[46:52] Speaker 1: you will be tired one day. No matter how anointed
[46:55] Speaker 1: you are, take it from me. You will cry many
[46:58] Speaker 1: tears in the secret until it becomes open. The reality
[47:01] Speaker 1: of your weariness, regardless of your spiritual activities, will soon
[47:04] Speaker 1: catch up with you. It is in ministry you will
[47:07] Speaker 1: see that the excellency of the power is truly of God. Hallelujah.
[47:13] Speaker 1: Some of the most phenomenal meetings I have seen in
[47:16] Speaker 1: my life were meetings where I did not feel any
[47:19] Speaker 1: strength on my own. Hallelujah. You are aware of your
[47:23] Speaker 1: insufficiency as you approach these meetings. But every time the
[47:28] Speaker 1: frailness of your body catches up with you, you remember
[47:32] Speaker 1: the cross. You remember Christ. You remember that his finished work.
[47:36] Speaker 1: You remember that his death, burial and the resurrection is
[47:39] Speaker 1: the reason why the sick will be healed. There are
[47:42] Speaker 1: times you are preaching to people and you can see
[47:45] Speaker 1: unbelief on their faces as you are talking. Are we together?
[47:50] Speaker 1: You know that if you depend on your strength. There
[47:53] Speaker 1: is no skill that will make these people receive anything.
[47:56] Speaker 1: At such point you forget about yourself. And then you
[48:00] Speaker 1: allow Christ take his place. And then you will watch
[48:03] Speaker 1: the wonder walking power. Respect what defeated Satan. Respect what
[48:08] Speaker 1: defeated sin. Respect what defeated the grave.
[48:12] Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
[48:15] Speaker 1: We're discussing yesterday like pastor said. As I prepare to
[48:18] Speaker 1: wrap up. We're talking about a great man of God
[48:22] Speaker 1: who's gone to be with the Lord now. And one
[48:24] Speaker 1: of our fathers in the faith. Who came into the
[48:27] Speaker 1: faith life because his crippled brother became healed in that crusade.
[48:33] Speaker 1: The man was shouting in Yoruba having his own crusade.
[48:37] Speaker 1: And then that man of God was carrying his brother,
[48:40] Speaker 1: born crippled. And the man shouted in Jesus name in Yoruba.
[48:46] Speaker 1: They didn't know anything much but Christ crucified. And they
[48:49] Speaker 1: carried that revelation to the crusade ground. And tested it
[48:53] Speaker 1: with sicknesses and diseases. And my goodness. Elemental forces bowed
[48:58] Speaker 1: before this man. Shouted in the name of Jesus. And
[49:04] Speaker 1: his brother dropped standing till today. And yet. I can
[49:11] Speaker 1: share with you. Not to be sarcastic. I can share
[49:14] Speaker 1: with you the Greek word for healing. the Hebrew word
[49:17] Speaker 1: for healing the Latin word for healing the modern King
[49:21] Speaker 1: James word for healing and when I am done then
[49:24] Speaker 1: I now say well I hope that with these few
[49:26] Speaker 1: points of mind I'm not being sarcastic I hope you
[49:30] Speaker 1: are convinced and not confused that healing is yours let's
[49:34] Speaker 1: go home not this man not this man In 2004,
[49:42] Speaker 1: I was in Joss when Reinhard Bonnke came. I stood
[49:46] Speaker 1: there for six hours. I was praying and crying. I
[49:51] Speaker 1: was already a man of God. But I said, Lord,
[49:53] Speaker 1: let something leave this man. And land upon me. I've
[49:58] Speaker 1: read his books. I've read T.L. Osborne's books. But what
[50:01] Speaker 1: is it about these people? Sir. After the first day.
[50:05] Speaker 1: I went back and by the second day. I said
[50:08] Speaker 1: I will come and serve. I didn't just want to
[50:11] Speaker 1: stand and receive. I was wheeling people myself. On wheelchairs
[50:14] Speaker 1: to the front. And I was praying in tongues. I
[50:17] Speaker 1: said Lord this is how my meetings will be too.
[50:19] Speaker 1: I may not fully understand the dynamics. But I honor
[50:22] Speaker 1: this man as touching what you have put in his life.
[50:26] Speaker 1: I watch him preach a simple message. Sometimes annoyingly simple.
[50:31] Speaker 1: And you are wondering, okay, so what am I doing here?
[50:35] Speaker 1: The simplicity of the gospel. And the tremendous power that
[50:41] Speaker 1: backs it. Reinhard Bonnke took a cup of water so
[50:44] Speaker 1: that he would minister the baptism. You may have heard
[50:47] Speaker 1: my story. That was when my eyes were opened. And
[50:49] Speaker 1: the first time in my life, I saw the manifestation
[50:52] Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit. It was a giant bird. Without exaggeration.
[50:57] Speaker 1: Moving across the entire crusade ground. I thought everyone was
[51:02] Speaker 1: seeing it. And yet I was the only one seeing it.
[51:06] Speaker 1: And the spirit of God took me to Genesis chapter
[51:09] Speaker 1: 1 and verse 2. And the spirit hovered around the face.
[51:13] Speaker 1: Because he was about to pray for miracles. You see
[51:17] Speaker 1: that now. I had read this scripture. But it has
[51:20] Speaker 1: not become life. And then the man was done. And
[51:25] Speaker 1: shouting almost as if he was losing his voice. Blind
[51:28] Speaker 1: eyes be opened. Sick bodies be healed. It's not that
[51:33] Speaker 1: they told me. Part of the people I wheeled there,
[51:36] Speaker 1: I saw them stand up. Come on now. Look, let
[51:40] Speaker 1: me tell you, genuine result is the end of arguments. Genuine,
[51:44] Speaker 1: repeatable results. Hallelujah. I watched blind eyes open. Some of
[51:53] Speaker 1: them could not speak English. They didn't even know what
[51:56] Speaker 1: he was saying. This guy imported a spiritual reality by light,
[52:02] Speaker 1: not by gimmicks. It was from Reinhard Bonnke Crusade. Betamax.
[52:08] Speaker 1: You know those small Betamax? That was the first time
[52:12] Speaker 1: I saw a man pray over shrine materials and fire
[52:17] Speaker 1: came out. It's not that they told me. I saw it.
[52:20] Speaker 1: Not in a vision. That was when they started the
[52:23] Speaker 1: fire conference. I think it was in Congo DRC or so.
[52:28] Speaker 1: There were skulls and other things. And this man shouted
[52:32] Speaker 1: and fire came out. We hail you. We worship you.
[52:43] Speaker 1: We hail you. Hallelujah. You've heard my story when I
[52:55] Speaker 1: read about Charles and Francis Hunter. Not many people know
[52:58] Speaker 1: them now. They've gone to be with the Lord. Two people.
[53:01] Speaker 1: He started ministry in his forties, sir. Charles and Francis Hunter.
[53:07] Speaker 1: Remarkable people. Remarkable. There was a meeting without exaggeration. There
[53:14] Speaker 1: were over 100 wheelchairs. 100. Imagine a congregation of 100
[53:24] Speaker 1: people and all of them on wheelchairs. I watched these
[53:28] Speaker 1: guys perform miracles. The way they perform miracles is not
[53:32] Speaker 1: that they pray and when you are healed you come out.
[53:35] Speaker 1: people with cross eyes you are watching it and everything
[53:39] Speaker 1: corrects in your presence and they laugh over it and
[53:42] Speaker 1: you are there with your zeal finding trying to look
[53:45] Speaker 1: for god and you are wondering god why are you
[53:47] Speaker 1: missing and he said i'm not missing you have ignored
[53:49] Speaker 1: the secret i gave you the secret is christ christ
[53:53] Speaker 1: crucified The death. There is no revelation that can edit
[53:58] Speaker 1: this reality. Everything is built upon it. Did you hear
[54:01] Speaker 1: what I'm saying? You want to walk in victory? You
[54:04] Speaker 1: want to walk in power? Return to the simplicity of
[54:07] Speaker 1: the gospel. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
[54:11] Speaker 1: For it is the power of God unto salvation. Not
[54:15] Speaker 1: for everyone. To him that believes. To him that believes.
[54:21] Speaker 1: To him that believes. I was going to apply for
[54:26] Speaker 1: visa to go to US. I wanted to go and
[54:30] Speaker 1: serve them for two weeks. I knew they would not
[54:32] Speaker 1: stay long. And all I wanted to do was to
[54:35] Speaker 1: go and scrub their toilets sincerely. And then have an
[54:40] Speaker 1: opportunity to study certain things. How do they pray? How
[54:45] Speaker 1: do they talk to God that God is not hearing
[54:47] Speaker 1: me like that? And yet the same Lord is reached
[54:51] Speaker 1: unto all. I didn't want to hear stories. I bought
[54:55] Speaker 1: their materials over 23 hours video on healing the sick.
[55:00] Speaker 1: I sat with this thing, studied it one by one
[55:03] Speaker 1: and said, Lord, where is this thing for God's sake?
[55:08] Speaker 1: You see, one of the things I'm praying the body
[55:11] Speaker 1: of Christ will respect is number one, God, and number two,
[55:15] Speaker 1: the sacrifices of men that brought them where God has
[55:18] Speaker 1: exalted them. Hallelujah. This is the house of honor and
[55:23] Speaker 1: I must tell you, It is true that the excellency
[55:26] Speaker 1: of power belongs to God. But do not disrespect the
[55:29] Speaker 1: sacrifice of alignment that brought people to the level of
[55:33] Speaker 1: stature wherein God is glorified today. If it was sheep,
[55:37] Speaker 1: all men would have it. All men can have it.
[55:40] Speaker 1: All men should have it. Are we together now? But
[55:44] Speaker 1: this is where the labor dimension of contending for eternal
[55:47] Speaker 1: life comes in. We have to wrap up. When they
[55:53] Speaker 1: died and I did not have the opportunity, I prayed.
[55:55] Speaker 1: I said, well, they are dead but spirit of the
[55:57] Speaker 1: living God. You are life and you are in me.
[56:00] Speaker 1: You are the one who helped this man. What is
[56:03] Speaker 1: the secret behind? You see, I don't want to complicate
[56:06] Speaker 1: my spiritual life. Jesus glorified, my destiny exalted, dramatic results demonstrated.
[56:13] Speaker 1: I don't want to waste my time. No matter what
[56:15] Speaker 1: you say or do, the end of it is the
[56:18] Speaker 1: results of transformation, the results of salvation, the results of
[56:22] Speaker 1: the supernatural, the results of wisdom. Please do not downplay results.
[56:27] Speaker 1: This is a generation that will not pay attention to
[56:29] Speaker 1: you until they see Christ revealed in the fullness of
[56:35] Speaker 1: The word became flesh. And we beheld. You only behold
[56:39] Speaker 1: what has become flesh. So when we talk about the resurrection.
[56:46] Speaker 1: It is because God is using this topic to signify
[56:49] Speaker 1: a season. That is coming upon the body of Christ.
[56:52] Speaker 1: That there is a greater consciousness to begin to research.
[56:56] Speaker 1: Where we have lost touch with genuine power. Where we
[56:59] Speaker 1: have lost touch with divine reality. And in truth we
[57:02] Speaker 1: have done well. In terms of our personal prayers we
[57:05] Speaker 1: have exhausted our options. We need to return back. Usually
[57:10] Speaker 1: the secret to the complicated is in something hidden. That
[57:14] Speaker 1: is simple. We teach this even in organizational leadership. Behind
[57:19] Speaker 1: the decks terrorist organizations in the world are very simple models.
[57:24] Speaker 1: Very simple models. If the gospel was meant for all men,
[57:31] Speaker 1: then it must be simple enough to be understood. Only
[57:34] Speaker 1: God knows what can happen to you today if you
[57:38] Speaker 1: walk in the reality of the resurrection. We'll consider Acts
[57:41] Speaker 1: chapter 4 and verse 33 in the night. The Bible says,
[57:44] Speaker 1: And with great power gave the apostles witness of the
[57:48] Speaker 1: resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon
[57:51] Speaker 1: how many? There is a grace that is for all.
[57:55] Speaker 1: The grace that attests to the resurrection power of Jesus.
[57:58] Speaker 1: Is not just for a select few. There is an
[58:01] Speaker 1: election of grace. But I tell you everyone is destined
[58:04] Speaker 1: in Christ. That includes you. Are we together now? That
[58:07] Speaker 1: the power of God. The wisdom of God. The grace
[58:11] Speaker 1: of God may be made manifest. In and through your life.
[58:15] Speaker 1: Let me recap one last time and we end. That
[58:18] Speaker 1: the basis for the believer's salvation, redemption and victory. Is
[58:23] Speaker 1: not just all that has happened from Christ through Christ.
[58:26] Speaker 1: But that it happened through Christ for our sake. The
[58:33] Speaker 1: believer was the motivation behind everything Christ went through. And
[58:37] Speaker 1: you must learn the mystery of his humanity and his
[58:40] Speaker 1: earth work. The basis for him becoming a man. Working
[58:44] Speaker 1: as a model. A pattern man. Revealing God's expectation to us.
[58:49] Speaker 1: And then his death. The Bible says. Then his burial.
[58:54] Speaker 1: A seal. An attestation to the fact that he died.
[58:58] Speaker 1: And then his resurrection. Finally his exaltation. It was after
[59:04] Speaker 1: that exaltation. He said. Go ye therefore. Behold I give
[59:09] Speaker 1: you power. he says go ye therefore he released us
[59:13] Speaker 1: not just with a message he released us with a
[59:16] Speaker 1: consciousness if the only thing you have is the message
[59:19] Speaker 1: without the consciousness you will live a defeated life let's
[59:25] Speaker 1: pray Lift your hands in one minute and let's thank
[59:29] Speaker 1: the Lord for what we have heard. And declare that
[59:32] Speaker 1: this year, 2024, from this year hence, you are determined
[59:37] Speaker 1: to walk in the victory that has been wrought for
[59:39] Speaker 1: you in Christ. That your life and your Christian experience
[59:43] Speaker 1: will be always extraordinary. Your life will be a rich
[59:46] Speaker 1: capture of all the multifaceted dimensions of God. His wisdom,
[59:51] Speaker 1: His power, His grace, His prosperity, His influence, His increase.
[59:57] Speaker 1: That your life will be a representation of dominion. And
[1:00:01] Speaker 1: from a standpoint of that victory, you will represent God
[1:00:05] Speaker 1: to your world. You will represent God to whatever geography
[1:00:08] Speaker 1: you are assigning. Take a minute to pray. We are
[1:00:10] Speaker 1: wrapping up. In the name of Jesus, you are declaring
[1:00:13] Speaker 1: by the power of the Holy Spirit. I'm tired of
[1:00:16] Speaker 1: living a nominal Christian life. i'm tired of living a
[1:00:19] Speaker 1: frustrated christian life i am ready to return to the
[1:00:23] Speaker 1: order the order that makes for power the order that
[1:00:26] Speaker 1: releases grace grace and peace be multiplied unto you through
[1:00:30] Speaker 1: the knowledge through the knowledge of god and of our
[1:00:34] Speaker 1: lord jesus christ the bible says we are his workmanship
[1:00:39] Speaker 1: recreated in christ unto good works which god had before
[1:00:43] Speaker 1: ordained that we should work in them In Jesus name
[1:00:51] Speaker 1: we pray. In Jesus name we pray. Now let me
[1:00:55] Speaker 1: encourage you as I go to take my seat. Please
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: I want you to take the time between now and
[1:01:00] Speaker 1: the evening session. Take the time to pray and prepare
[1:01:04] Speaker 1: your heart. You have made a lot of sacrifices to
[1:01:07] Speaker 1: be at this conference. Do not waste it. Let it
[1:01:09] Speaker 1: be a defining moment. Are we together? A defining moment.
[1:01:14] Speaker 1: You don't have to be in ministry to be that determined.
[1:01:17] Speaker 1: God wants to give value to your fasting, value to
[1:01:21] Speaker 1: your prayer, value to your consecration. He wants to give
[1:01:24] Speaker 1: value by giving you the underlying revelation that powers all things.
[1:01:29] Speaker 1: A new fridge without... it's connecting to the source of
[1:01:33] Speaker 1: electricity will not allow it work a new television when
[1:01:37] Speaker 1: your gadget does not come on even though it is
[1:01:39] Speaker 1: brand new it is because you have not known how
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: to connect it to the source what gives life to
[1:01:44] Speaker 1: every activity in the spirit is this revelation it says
[1:01:48] Speaker 1: upon this rock what rock the revelation of christ and
[1:01:52] Speaker 1: the revelation of our oneness in his victory Don't forget this.
[1:01:57] Speaker 1: It is not only the revelation of who Christ is now.
[1:02:01] Speaker 1: On account of the entire journey of his death, burial
[1:02:04] Speaker 1: and resurrection. But the implication of that to you and
[1:02:07] Speaker 1: I today. That is where strength comes from. Ephesians 6
[1:02:12] Speaker 1: verse 10. Finally brethren he says. Be strong in the
[1:02:15] Speaker 1: Lord and in the power of his might. Amplified says.
[1:02:19] Speaker 1: Draw your strength from your union with him. Draw your strength.
[1:02:24] Speaker 1: There is strength. An abundance of strength that is infused
[1:02:29] Speaker 1: into your spirit man. Causing you to excel in an
[1:02:32] Speaker 1: extraordinary way. And that that strength is drawn from the
[1:02:37] Speaker 1: consciousness of your union with him. Please do invite everybody
[1:02:42] Speaker 1: as many who you can draw to Jesus both online
[1:02:46] Speaker 1: and offline. And let's trust God to step higher. In
[1:02:51] Speaker 1: addition to all that we have received in course of
[1:02:53] Speaker 1: this conference. And in the name of Jesus I pray
[1:02:56] Speaker 1: for someone. That at the end of this conference your
[1:02:59] Speaker 1: life will be a true portrait. A reflection of the
[1:03:02] Speaker 1: victory that the resurrection has brought to the saints. The
[1:03:05] Speaker 1: Lord bless you. In Jesus name we pray. Thank you.
