## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[0:02] Speaker 2: Wave your hands to Jesus. Give him all the praise.
[0:06] Speaker 2: Give him all the adoration. King of kings. Lord of lords.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Are you blessing him? We bless you. Our God, our maker,
[0:16] Speaker 2: king and our judge. From everlasting to everlasting.
[0:20] Speaker 1: You are God.
[0:21] Speaker 2: One generation will declare your praise to another. Someone is
[0:26] Speaker 2: giving God quality thanks. Quality praise tonight. Blessed be the
[0:33] Speaker 2: name of the Lord. For in Jesus' mighty name we
[0:40] Speaker 2: have worshipped.
[0:42] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Just one prayer whilst you're standing.
[0:47] Speaker 2: Father, give me an encounter in this atmosphere of worship tonight.
[0:51] Speaker 1: Go ahead.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Let it be a cry from the depth of your spirit.
[0:57] Speaker 2: Give me an encounter. Let something happen to my life
[1:03] Speaker 2: that I.
[1:03] Speaker 1: Will live to remember.
[1:05] Speaker 2: Give me an encounter beyond the healing, beyond the miracle,
[1:11] Speaker 2: beyond the breakthrough. Show me something about your glory.
[1:20] Speaker 1: Oh, rest on me Oh, rest on me. Oh, rest
[1:35] Speaker 1: on me.
[1:37] Speaker 2: Spirit of wisdom, rest on me.
[1:42] Speaker 1: Oh, rest on me. Amen.
[2:02] Speaker 2: I welcome you to this worship experience in the name
[2:05] Speaker 2: of Jesus. And I assure you by God that you
[2:08] Speaker 2: are in for an extraordinary experience.
[2:12] Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
[2:14] Speaker 2: These are the kinds of encounters that will turn Saul
[2:17] Speaker 2: to Paul. These are the kinds of encounters that will
[2:21] Speaker 2: turn Cephas to Peter. Amen.
[2:23] Speaker 1: These are the kinds of encounters that turn Abraham to Abraham.
[2:28] Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
[2:30] Speaker 2: Please be seated for a minute. Be seated for a minute.
[2:34] Speaker 2: I welcome every one of us. We're so glad and
[2:37] Speaker 2: honored to have Minister Terry McCalmond and his dear wife
[2:41] Speaker 2: all the way from the United States.
[2:44] Speaker 1: Come on, Koinonia, you can do better than this.
[2:46] Speaker 2: Let's give them a big Koinonia welcome.
[2:48] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[2:51] Speaker 2: And then please help me welcome my dear friend and brother,
[2:54] Speaker 2: Pastor Nathaniel Basi.
[2:58] Speaker 1: Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory to Jesus. Praise the Lord.
[3:10] Speaker 2: Now, very quickly, just to perform a function or two,
[3:13] Speaker 2: and then I set the stage for... the flow of worship.
[3:18] Speaker 2: I'm excited about what God is doing. My heart is
[3:20] Speaker 2: open to receive for myself.
[3:24] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Amen. And it doesn't.
[3:28] Speaker 2: Matter whether you're in here, any of the overflows outside
[3:31] Speaker 2: or connecting from across the nations of the earth. I
[3:34] Speaker 2: want you to know that in this atmosphere, you can
[3:38] Speaker 2: simulate your own atmosphere of worship and have a very
[3:41] Speaker 2: potent encounter, even by the Spirit.
[3:45] Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
[3:46] Speaker 2: Okay, so very quickly, last week we flagged off two projects,
[3:51] Speaker 2: but unfortunately I hear we're unable to do the registrations
[3:58] Speaker 2: manually because there was almost a stampede there, and so
[4:03] Speaker 2: we had to just cancel everything, and we've decided to
[4:06] Speaker 2: do everything online. Number one is the agricultural project, and
[4:11] Speaker 2: then number two, the support for the SMEs. it's important
[4:18] Speaker 2: that all things be done decently and in order. We
[4:21] Speaker 2: shouldn't have people wounded, injured, and even killed because of
[4:25] Speaker 2: the press. And so we're just, media, are you ready?
[4:29] Speaker 2: Let's have the project we're doing, the agricultural project, let's
[4:33] Speaker 2: start with that so that I can just announce it,
[4:36] Speaker 2: release it. So we're doing everything online now. Instead of
[4:41] Speaker 2: your registration there, we're doing it online.
[4:46] Speaker 1: Entirely online.
[4:48] Speaker 2: So for all of you who intended to register last week, please,
[4:53] Speaker 2: you can use this link.
[4:56] Speaker 1: Register.
[4:56] Speaker 2: All your details will be there. And you have one week,
[4:59] Speaker 2: just exactly one week to do this. We're going to
[5:02] Speaker 2: collate all the details like we discussed last week and
[5:05] Speaker 2: then send them to the CSS group.
[5:07] Speaker 1: They will do their selections. We've given them the.
[5:09] Speaker 2: Liberty to come up with those who will qualify for
[5:13] Speaker 2: the training and then eventually the funding It is my
[5:16] Speaker 2: contribution to helping what is happening in the nation. We
[5:20] Speaker 2: believe that just praying and complaining will not get the
[5:24] Speaker 2: job done. There has to be something that we can do,
[5:28] Speaker 2: and this is one of such things. So please make
[5:30] Speaker 2: sure that you connect now. Forgive our bias for those
[5:34] Speaker 2: of you who are largely outside of the Abuja environment.
[5:39] Speaker 1: It may be.
[5:39] Speaker 2: Difficult for you to be part of this because... We're
[5:42] Speaker 2: only opening up doors for maximum of 200 people. For
[5:47] Speaker 2: the training, it's a professional training. Mechanized farming is absolutely free.
[5:51] Speaker 2: We're working in partnership with the CSS Farms. Prof had
[5:54] Speaker 2: a word with us last week. And so we promise
[5:58] Speaker 2: to collate all of the details and then send them
[6:02] Speaker 2: to the CSS group.
[6:03] Speaker 1: They will do the screening, the training.
[6:06] Speaker 2: And then we'll have a one-day workshop and then the
[6:09] Speaker 2: funds will be released.
[6:11] Speaker 1: And as they direct us. Praise God.
[6:13] Speaker 2: So may the Lord bless this, and we pray in
[6:16] Speaker 2: Jesus' name that many will be empowered from this project.
[6:19] Speaker 2: The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a very
[6:23] Speaker 2: major part of nation building. I am an advocate of
[6:27] Speaker 2: responsible Christianity, that beyond just preaching and talking, we may
[6:31] Speaker 2: not be able to do everything, but there is something
[6:34] Speaker 2: we can do. And this is our commitment as believers
[6:38] Speaker 2: and as spiritual leaders.
[6:39] Speaker 1: Praise God. Next, please, very quickly, for all those, we
[6:46] Speaker 1: have pledged.
[6:46] Speaker 2: To support a few businesses, particularly businesses that about 250,000
[6:52] Speaker 2: to a million naira will make a difference in the business.
[6:57] Speaker 2: We don't know how many we'll be able to stretch through. Again,
[6:59] Speaker 2: we've asked many of you who are actively in businesses,
[7:05] Speaker 2: businesses that are legitimate, businesses that add constructive value to people,
[7:11] Speaker 2: you're free to apply. And then again, there is a committee,
[7:15] Speaker 2: an independent committee that will screen out people and will
[7:18] Speaker 2: come up with a number and then see how we
[7:21] Speaker 2: can support the various businesses. That's the second phase of
[7:24] Speaker 2: what we're doing. This again is our contribution to helping
[7:29] Speaker 2: empower people. Even at this point, we believe that there
[7:32] Speaker 2: is something we can do. And the best that we
[7:35] Speaker 2: can do, we will do as God grants us grace
[7:38] Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus. So, Again, just like the
[7:41] Speaker 2: first group, this will end by 9th of March. So
[7:48] Speaker 2: you apply immediately and then the committee will screen through
[7:52] Speaker 2: and then they'll come up with their final list. Then
[7:55] Speaker 2: we'll do a training for them and then release the
[7:58] Speaker 2: funds with our prayer. Beyond the money, the impartation of
[8:02] Speaker 2: grace that you need, I think is more important even
[8:06] Speaker 2: than the money sold. We thank God for the privilege
[8:08] Speaker 2: and the honor to do this. And we pray that
[8:10] Speaker 2: God will find joy in this contribution. We pray that
[8:14] Speaker 2: it will not just be the marketing of flesh. It
[8:16] Speaker 2: will not just be some carnally minded project without any
[8:20] Speaker 2: kingdom bearing.
[8:21] Speaker 1: We are people who love Jesus and we are.
[8:24] Speaker 2: Active participants in nation building. And so this is our
[8:28] Speaker 2: contribution to this great nation and by extension our continent.
[8:34] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Are you ready for tonight?
[8:38] Speaker 2: One of the blessings that a man can receive is
[8:42] Speaker 2: the ability to discern what God is doing in every
[8:45] Speaker 2: season and in every time. God is a God who
[8:49] Speaker 2: walks based on times and seasons. Please lend me your attention.
[8:55] Speaker 2: He walks based on times and seasons. And most believers
[9:02] Speaker 2: do not have the discernment to understand what God is
[9:06] Speaker 2: doing per time and per season. Habakkuk said in chapter 2,
[9:10] Speaker 2: I will stand upon my watch and I will set
[9:13] Speaker 2: myself upon the tower so that I will see what
[9:16] Speaker 2: you will say unto me. Hallelujah. God is not doing
[9:21] Speaker 2: the same thing in every season. Every season has his emphasis.
[9:25] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[9:27] Speaker 2: And one of the things I know about God is
[9:29] Speaker 2: is that sounds, sounds of worship are major prophetic tools
[9:35] Speaker 2: that end seasons and open other seasons. Even the return
[9:39] Speaker 2: of Christ will be with the blast of the trumpets,
[9:42] Speaker 2: the Bible says. And it will wrap up this phase
[9:45] Speaker 2: as we know. And we're honored to have two incredible,
[9:51] Speaker 2: incredible ministers of the gospel who are deep worshipers.
[9:57] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[10:02] Speaker 2: Now, I decided not to do a video montage. I
[10:07] Speaker 2: want to take the time to introduce them sincerely, void
[10:11] Speaker 2: of pretense, void of politics. I just wanted to pour
[10:14] Speaker 2: out my heart to let them know that this is
[10:17] Speaker 2: a house of honor. and that we're not just inviting
[10:20] Speaker 2: them as guest artists, but we're inviting them as touching
[10:24] Speaker 2: the grace that represents their years of dealings with the Spirit,
[10:29] Speaker 2: their scars, their pain, that which they have come to
[10:33] Speaker 2: know about God.
[10:33] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[10:36] Speaker 2: There is no one who has enjoyed a rich fellowship
[10:39] Speaker 2: with the Holy Spirit within the last, say, 25 years,
[10:46] Speaker 2: Anyone who has walked with God within this span of time,
[10:50] Speaker 2: it will be impossible for you to not have come
[10:53] Speaker 2: across the worship ministry of Terry McHalmond.
[10:57] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[10:59] Speaker 2: Coming from the middle belt and coming from, thank you.
[11:05] Speaker 2: An evangelical background. We had people who loved the Lord sincerely.
[11:10] Speaker 2: But there was something, a kind of worship, a fountain
[11:14] Speaker 2: of worship that our spirits cried out for. Especially when
[11:17] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit began to dive us deep into this
[11:21] Speaker 2: river that has now prepared us for what we are
[11:24] Speaker 2: doing across the nations. And I remember coming across his
[11:29] Speaker 2: songs and what a joy they were.
[11:31] Speaker 1: Very deep worship. Deep worship.
[11:34] Speaker 2: I mean, just flows like a river from the throne
[11:37] Speaker 2: to your spirit.
[11:39] Speaker 1: We have had encounters on account of this worship.
[11:42] Speaker 2: And Terry McAlmond is a great, great, great, great worshiper,
[11:48] Speaker 2: man of God, all the way from the United States.
[11:51] Speaker 2: A songwriter, a worshiper, a song leader.
[11:57] Speaker 1: And an author. Hallelujah.
[12:01] Speaker 2: He has been behind many songs that have stirred up
[12:05] Speaker 2: revival across the nations. Wonderful songs like My God and King.
[12:10] Speaker 2: You know, great songs that have really blessed people. I
[12:15] Speaker 2: remember times when I would put some of his songs
[12:17] Speaker 2: on repeat. Literally through the night. Just praying and worshipping
[12:22] Speaker 2: sometimes while you're resting. And incredible songs. We sing many
[12:26] Speaker 2: of the songs here. Songs like Even So. very profound songs.
[12:31] Speaker 2: I'm sure you'll hear some of them shortly. And we
[12:34] Speaker 2: really are honored to have him in our midst. And
[12:40] Speaker 2: I believe that beyond the depth of worship that will
[12:45] Speaker 2: come from him leading us to encounter Jesus in a
[12:48] Speaker 2: fresh way, I believe that there are all kinds of
[12:51] Speaker 2: impartations that will be happening.
[12:54] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[12:55] Speaker 2: My first encounter with his worship ministry was Was through
[12:58] Speaker 2: the ministry of Benny Hinn. And he's ministered around the world.
[13:04] Speaker 2: Today he's not only singing over America. He's singing over Nigeria.
[13:09] Speaker 2: And singing over Koinonia.
[13:12] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[13:15] Speaker 2: And sir we want you to know that we love
[13:17] Speaker 2: you and your dear wife.
[13:19] Speaker 1: We honor you as touching the grace that you carry. Amen.
[13:23] Speaker 2: And we are ready to receive out of that which
[13:26] Speaker 2: the Lord has deposited in your spirit. And our hearts
[13:29] Speaker 2: are open. Even though this is your first time, this
[13:33] Speaker 2: is home for you. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[13:37] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. Praise the name of the Lord.
[13:41] Speaker 2: What do I now say about my friend and brother
[13:43] Speaker 2: Pastor Nat?
[13:45] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[13:47] Speaker 2: Take it higher for me. I reject temptation. Have you
[13:51] Speaker 2: heard something like.
[13:55] Speaker 1: Jesus, yeah. Jesus, yeah. In a special way. Help me, Koinonia. Hallelujah.
[14:23] Speaker 1: Praise the name of the Lord.
[14:26] Speaker 2: Pastor Nath is truly my friend and my brother. I
[14:30] Speaker 2: love him with all my heart. He's an incredible.
[14:33] Speaker 1: Man of God. Now, listen, listen, listen, listen.
[14:37] Speaker 2: Beyond the pulpit, we've shared many personal moments together. And
[14:42] Speaker 2: I can tell you that one of the most striking
[14:45] Speaker 2: things about his life is his love and his passion
[14:50] Speaker 2: for Jesus.
[14:52] Speaker 1: He genuinely, truly loves Jesus.
[14:56] Speaker 2: And I've seen the kinds of sacrifices that he's made,
[14:59] Speaker 2: seen and unseen, known to many and unknown to many more,
[15:04] Speaker 2: to help stabilize the worship ministry across this nation and Africa.
[15:10] Speaker 1: We thank God for precious gifts like him.
[15:13] Speaker 2: One of the things that I hope will happen, and
[15:15] Speaker 2: thank God for the incredible worship ministry, the ministries that
[15:21] Speaker 2: we have across the body of Christ, particularly the continent
[15:24] Speaker 2: of Africa and Nigeria, But I think that one of
[15:28] Speaker 2: the things that I'm hoping that God will use a
[15:32] Speaker 2: worship experience like this to bring is the wisdom dimension
[15:37] Speaker 2: of serving the purposes of God. We have so many
[15:40] Speaker 2: great worshipers, well-meaning, well-intentioned people, sincere. But I think there
[15:46] Speaker 2: is a narrative about the idea of worship that is
[15:50] Speaker 2: being sold that seems to neglect excellence, seems to neglect love.
[15:55] Speaker 2: the place of preparation, and a kind of delivery that
[15:59] Speaker 2: can serve Jesus at a level that will be received
[16:03] Speaker 2: by the globe. And so we have here and there
[16:05] Speaker 2: very zealous.
[16:06] Speaker 1: People, but perhaps the.
[16:08] Speaker 2: Intelligence, understanding the true Davidic order of worship that leads.
[16:14] Speaker 1: To territorial impact.
[16:16] Speaker 2: I'm hoping in the name of Jesus that as the minister,
[16:19] Speaker 2: Especially for those who are called into the worship ministry.
[16:22] Speaker 2: I'm already standing to receive for my own people. That
[16:26] Speaker 2: God will bring that other dimension. That is largely missing
[16:30] Speaker 2: in the body of Christ. So that we do not
[16:33] Speaker 2: have worshipers that are great who just rise and go down.
[16:36] Speaker 1: And fade with time.
[16:38] Speaker 2: But that people whose kingdom contribution will last. And last
[16:42] Speaker 2: all through their lifetime. And even beyond their lifetime. You
[16:46] Speaker 2: believe that shout aloud amen. And so, Pastor Nat pastors
[16:51] Speaker 2: the Oasis Church. And I've had the honor of ministering there.
[16:56] Speaker 2: Pastor Nat hosts the Hallelujah Challenge that has become a
[17:00] Speaker 2: global blessing to many. I've had the honor of ministering
[17:05] Speaker 2: there once and again. And we've shared the stage on many,
[17:12] Speaker 2: many platforms ministering the gospel within this nation and outside
[17:16] Speaker 2: of this nation. And it's an honor every time we've
[17:20] Speaker 2: met to just worship and to minister.
[17:23] Speaker 1: Truly very humble man.
[17:25] Speaker 2: And tonight you are going to be receiving worship from
[17:30] Speaker 2: a fountain that has been dealt with by God. A
[17:34] Speaker 2: fountain that represents deep consecration, sacrifice. He will be singing
[17:40] Speaker 2: and blowing over your life and destiny. And in the
[17:43] Speaker 2: name of Jesus, as you hear him worship everything that
[17:46] Speaker 2: represents yesterday... That will not allow you experience and enjoy victory.
[17:51] Speaker 2: Perhaps this is not for everyone. But for someone who
[17:54] Speaker 2: came here believing. That everything that has brought you shame.
[17:57] Speaker 2: Has brought you tears. Has brought you pain. As you
[18:01] Speaker 2: immerse yourself in these sessions of worship. In the name
[18:04] Speaker 2: of Jesus. Your yesterday will wave you goodbye finally. In
[18:09] Speaker 2: the name of Jesus Christ. Now before I invite them
[18:14] Speaker 2: to come up and step back. I want you to
[18:15] Speaker 2: listen very carefully. I have shared that there are many
[18:19] Speaker 2: models of worship according to scripture. But three of them
[18:25] Speaker 2: have caught my attention. And I'm doing this to prepare
[18:28] Speaker 2: your heart as we begin this uncensored sessions of worship.
[18:33] Speaker 2: Number one was the worship by the man called Job.
[18:38] Speaker 2: The Bible tells us about Job that he was a
[18:40] Speaker 2: man who feared God and eschewed evil.
[18:43] Speaker 1: One time disaster struck Job.
[18:45] Speaker 2: And this man lost literally everything he had.
[18:48] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[18:50] Speaker 2: But the Bible tells us that upon hearing that he
[18:52] Speaker 2: had lost his sons, his daughters, his estate, his cattle,
[18:57] Speaker 2: literally everything. The Bible says he bent over. He fell
[19:02] Speaker 2: to the ground and worshipped. What an incredible response. You
[19:06] Speaker 2: will think that with such enormous, I mean the kind
[19:09] Speaker 2: of trauma that would follow this man back to back
[19:12] Speaker 2: receiving these kinds of sad news. But the Bible says
[19:15] Speaker 2: his response was that he worshipped. Number two, the Bible
[19:20] Speaker 2: talks to us about a woman called Mary. That she
[19:24] Speaker 2: came to Jesus with her alabaster box.
[19:27] Speaker 1: She had a terrible past. This woman was a halot.
[19:31] Speaker 2: But the Bible says that upon encountering Jesus... She came
[19:37] Speaker 2: and she broke her jar. It was made of one
[19:41] Speaker 2: year's wages of spiking art. And the Bible says everything
[19:46] Speaker 2: this woman had worshipped the Lord.
[19:48] Speaker 1: Her tears worshipped him.
[19:50] Speaker 2: Her hair representing her glory worshipped him. Her pain worshipped him.
[19:56] Speaker 2: Her wealth representing her value. The Bible did not say
[20:00] Speaker 2: she poured some. She broke some. The jar, the alabaster box,
[20:04] Speaker 2: to a point that most people said this is so
[20:07] Speaker 2: much waste. But she said, no, when it has to
[20:10] Speaker 2: do with worship, there is no waste there. The third
[20:15] Speaker 2: model of worship we see from scripture is found in revelations.
[20:19] Speaker 2: John was able to see the worship that happened in
[20:22] Speaker 2: the throne room. And he said he saw a group
[20:25] Speaker 2: of 24 personalities that the Bible simply calls them elders.
[20:31] Speaker 2: These were men who had achieved so much. It takes
[20:34] Speaker 2: a lot to be an elder. Culturally speaking, one of
[20:37] Speaker 2: the indices that qualify you to.
[20:39] Speaker 1: Be an elder is age and experience.
[20:42] Speaker 2: So by whatever parameter we know that for them to
[20:45] Speaker 2: be called elders, these were noble people indeed.
[20:48] Speaker 1: But the Bible says that when the four.
[20:52] Speaker 2: the four living creatures cried out and all of that,
[20:55] Speaker 2: the twenty and four elders cast their golden crown.
[20:59] Speaker 1: I like this. They didn't just bow, they cast their
[21:02] Speaker 1: golden crown.
[21:03] Speaker 2: Your crown is a representation of your achievements, a representation
[21:08] Speaker 2: of everything that is worthy of celebrating in your life.
[21:12] Speaker 2: So whether you are Job, haven't lost everything in pain,
[21:17] Speaker 2: perhaps feeling the weight of the economic turmoil across Nigeria
[21:20] Speaker 2: and the African continent, Your.
[21:22] Speaker 1: Response tonight should be to worship.
[21:25] Speaker 2: Perhaps you have a past that you may not even
[21:27] Speaker 2: want to think about. Like Mary, there is still an
[21:30] Speaker 2: opportunity for you to worship. Your tears can worship. Your
[21:34] Speaker 2: pain can worship. Everything can join in the worship. And
[21:39] Speaker 2: perhaps like I always say, you are one of the
[21:41] Speaker 2: elders indeed.
[21:44] Speaker 1: Haven't achieved so much in your life.
[21:46] Speaker 2: Men know you are great. You know you are great.
[21:49] Speaker 2: The devil knows you are great. Your environment knows that
[21:52] Speaker 2: you are great. You are still not exempted from the worship.
