[0:00] Speaker 1: I give Jesus a big, big, big, big, big hand. Amen.
[0:08] Speaker 1: Praise the name of the Lord. Well, it's good to
[0:12] Speaker 1: see everyone.
[0:13] Speaker 2: And the Bible says, unto the Lord shall the gathering
[0:16] Speaker 2: of his people be.
[0:18] Speaker 1: Pastor Daly, thank you. We honor you, honor your dear
[0:21] Speaker 1: wife and the entire leadership. May God bless you in
[0:26] Speaker 1: Jesus' name.
[0:28] Speaker 2: Allow me to appreciate Mayor Harold Moore. He flew in
[0:32] Speaker 2: from the United States for this. This man is an
[0:35] Speaker 2: incredible man. When he called that he was coming, I said, no, no, no,
[0:39] Speaker 2: you don't have to fly in. He's been around all
[0:41] Speaker 2: the Sound of Revival conferences in North America. And I said,
[0:46] Speaker 2: just sit. You're a politician. You're a mayor.
[0:49] Speaker 1: Don't let them drive you because you're traveling, doing evangelism.
[0:54] Speaker 1: And he didn't even answer me again.
[0:55] Speaker 2: Next thing I heard was that he was already in
[0:58] Speaker 2: the plane coming so god bless you it truly is
[1:03] Speaker 2: a joy and an honor by the way i appreciate
[1:05] Speaker 2: and honor everyone every man of god every person who
[1:09] Speaker 2: is worthy of honor we give jesus the praise i'm
[1:13] Speaker 2: here because i believe in what god is doing in
[1:16] Speaker 2: your life and in the territory this is why we've
[1:19] Speaker 2: been sent every time he grants us the grace to
[1:22] Speaker 2: strengthen one another and to speak over the territory, we
[1:27] Speaker 2: embrace it as an opportunity.
[1:29] Speaker 1: I'm here to.
[1:30] Speaker 2: Help someone see clearer, better. I'm here to help someone
[1:35] Speaker 2: access the grace needed for the hour. God sends us
[1:39] Speaker 2: as instruments of mercy to help give clarity, perspective, to
[1:44] Speaker 2: help build. And it's one of the burdens that God
[1:48] Speaker 2: has given me in this season, a renewed burden to
[1:52] Speaker 2: disciple nations. There is need for the body of Christ
[1:59] Speaker 2: across every territory to come into the fullness of the
[2:04] Speaker 2: stature of the measure of Christ. The church is at
[2:10] Speaker 2: the mercy of the men and the women who teach
[2:16] Speaker 2: and serve the wisdom and the grace of God. And
[2:18] Speaker 2: if we are limited, we will produce a sincere but
[2:23] Speaker 2: ill-prepared people. We cannot give beyond a level of access.
[2:28] Speaker 2: Access to light, access to wisdom, access to power. And
[2:33] Speaker 2: so every time God provides an opportunity like this to
[2:37] Speaker 2: meet people beyond the local assembly, for me it gladdens
[2:42] Speaker 2: my heart. Because only God can tell who is standing
[2:46] Speaker 2: before me. Only God can tell. The Bible says, now
[2:50] Speaker 2: are we the sons of God. And it does not
[2:53] Speaker 2: yet appear. You see, you can predict fairly how many
[2:59] Speaker 2: fruits can come from a tree, but you never can
[3:02] Speaker 2: tell how many trees can come from a seed.
[3:07] Speaker 1: That one seed planted, nurtured. Hallelujah.
[3:13] Speaker 2: And so my charge for us tonight as we begin
[3:16] Speaker 2: these sessions is, number one.
[3:18] Speaker 1: Let your hunger rise. Let your hunger rise.
[3:23] Speaker 2: The word of God produces when it meets a hungry heart.
[3:27] Speaker 2: Number two, let's adopt the principle that was given to Moses.
[3:33] Speaker 2: For many years Moses had been in Egypt. In fact,
[3:36] Speaker 2: he was being prepared to be the next Pharaoh. But
[3:39] Speaker 2: when he encountered the burning bush, the first instruction he
[3:42] Speaker 2: was given was.
[3:44] Speaker 1: Take off your shoes.
[3:46] Speaker 2: Your shoe is a representation of your experience, your knowledge
[3:50] Speaker 2: about God so far. Sometimes when you encounter him, he says,
[3:55] Speaker 2: take it off. Because I'm about to show you something
[3:58] Speaker 2: that may be foreign to your experience, but needed for
[4:01] Speaker 2: your destiny. I'm praying that somewhere in the course of
[4:06] Speaker 2: this meeting, someone will really find grace. Someone will encounter wisdom.
[4:12] Speaker 2: That mighty men and women will arise.
[4:14] Speaker 1: Amen.
[4:15] Speaker 2: You have invested your time. Many of you perhaps have
[4:18] Speaker 2: traveled outside of Leicester. Some of you within the city. Regardless,
[4:23] Speaker 2: and for those who are following online, look beyond a man.
[4:27] Speaker 2: Let your eyes be on Jesus. Let your eyes be
[4:29] Speaker 2: on his wisdom, his light, and he will do us good.
[4:33] Speaker 2: Can we lift up our hands in one minute and
[4:35] Speaker 2: ask again that the spirit of grace will breathe upon us.
[4:38] Speaker 1: Go ahead. Thank you, Jesus. Speak to our hearts. Light
[4:49] Speaker 1: our candles. Give us understanding.
[4:55] Speaker 2: Bring us to a state of maturity and stature by
[4:59] Speaker 2: the Spirit.
[5:01] Speaker 1: Empower us.
[5:05] Speaker 2: Strengthen the body of Christ within this territory, O God.
[5:10] Speaker 1: Let your name be glorified. Let your name be lifted. Amen.
[5:17] Speaker 3: We lift you high, Yahweh, Yahweh. Be lifted high, Yahweh, Yahweh.
[5:32] Speaker 1: Sing we lift you.
[5:34] Speaker 2: High, Yahweh, Yahweh.
[5:40] Speaker 3: We lift you high.
[5:44] Speaker 4: Be lifted high. We lift you high. We lift you high.
[6:10] Speaker 4: We lift it high.
[6:18] Speaker 1: Thank you, Spirit of Grace. We receive understanding. Let the
[6:22] Speaker 1: book be open. Let the scrolls be unlocked.
[6:26] Speaker 2: Guide our destinies to a place of perfection and power.
[6:30] Speaker 1: In Jesus name we pray. God bless you please.
[6:34] Speaker 2: You may be gloriously seated.
[6:36] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[6:40] Speaker 2: I understand we're dealing with the subject of the blessing
[6:44] Speaker 2: for this conference and I always like to teach along
[6:52] Speaker 2: the theme given to me and but for the purpose
[6:59] Speaker 2: of stability I would request that you allow me just
[7:05] Speaker 2: digress for a few minutes to lay a very strong
[7:07] Speaker 2: foundation because you see as we grow into maturity and
[7:13] Speaker 2: stature one of the things we must learn is the
[7:17] Speaker 2: value and the supremacy of the will of God the
[7:22] Speaker 2: will of God.
[7:23] Speaker 1: Now everything in the kingdom of revolves and must revolve
[7:29] Speaker 1: around the will of God.
[7:31] Speaker 2: What gives value to every teaching, every desire, every pursuit,
[7:39] Speaker 2: is that it must be connected directly to the birthing
[7:43] Speaker 2: of the.
[7:43] Speaker 1: Will of God. Is someone learning already?
[7:47] Speaker 2: So in the kingdom, when you attain unto maturity as
[7:50] Speaker 2: a believer, and let this also be a great encouragement
[7:56] Speaker 2: to perhaps a man of god a woman of god
[8:00] Speaker 2: that in teaching concepts in the kingdom you have to
[8:04] Speaker 2: first let the people know that nothing in the kingdom
[8:09] Speaker 2: in itself profits the believer except and unless it is
[8:15] Speaker 2: connected to the will of god so if you're teaching
[8:17] Speaker 2: healing if you're teaching prosperity, if you're teaching fruitfulness, if
[8:22] Speaker 2: you're teaching.
[8:23] Speaker 1: Advancement, it becomes vanity if left alone.
[8:28] Speaker 2: The strength of that teaching is when you can connect
[8:32] Speaker 2: that pursuit, that desire.
[8:34] Speaker 1: To the will of God. Do you understand me so far?
[8:36] Speaker 1: That means if.
[8:37] Speaker 2: You just want to prosper for the sake of prosperity,
[8:41] Speaker 2: if you want to be healed for the sake of healing,
[8:44] Speaker 2: one's self becomes the object of the pursuit.
[8:48] Speaker 1: Then it is vanity. It holds no weight in the spirit.
[8:52] Speaker 2: What gives our pursuit its value is that it is
[8:56] Speaker 2: connected to kingdom come.
[8:58] Speaker 1: It is connected to the program of God.
[9:01] Speaker 2: So when people understand the will of God, And get
[9:05] Speaker 2: to a point where they are determined to see his
[9:07] Speaker 2: kingdom come. And his will done. Then you have no
[9:10] Speaker 2: restraint in teaching them the things that equip them to
[9:14] Speaker 2: do so.
[9:14] Speaker 1: Healing. Prosperity.
[9:16] Speaker 2: Now you can teach it with confidence. Knowing that you
[9:20] Speaker 2: are teaching a people who are already cultured. They have
[9:23] Speaker 2: an orientation that my life and everything about it. Must
[9:27] Speaker 2: be for his glory. And for his kingdom.
[9:29] Speaker 1: Are we learning now? It is a risk.
[9:32] Speaker 2: To begin to explore certain dimensions of the provisions, the
[9:38] Speaker 2: riches that are in Christ. And to help people understand
[9:43] Speaker 2: it without first connecting them.
[9:46] Speaker 1: To Christ, to his program, to his purposes.
[9:50] Speaker 2: What will happen is that that knowledge will become like
[9:53] Speaker 2: the tree of good and evil.
[9:55] Speaker 1: It number one will bring enlightenment. But with enlightenment it
[9:59] Speaker 1: will bring corruption.
[10:01] Speaker 2: So you will find the people who rejoice at increase,
[10:05] Speaker 2: rejoice at prosperity, but Jesus is not at the back
[10:09] Speaker 2: of their joy. They are only rejoicing because they have
[10:12] Speaker 2: been better equipped to be selfish.
[10:15] Speaker 1: They have been equipped.
[10:16] Speaker 2: Knowledge has fortified self in them So they rejoice because
[10:22] Speaker 2: self is finding expression.
[10:23] Speaker 1: Are we learning already?
[10:24] Speaker 2: I'm saying that as a background because in teaching very
[10:27] Speaker 2: delicate subjects like the blessing, it matters to me and
[10:32] Speaker 2: it matters, you know, the Bible calls.
[10:34] Speaker 1: Us master builders.
[10:37] Speaker 2: And the Bible says that every man of God must
[10:40] Speaker 2: be a wise master builder.
[10:42] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[10:43] Speaker 2: And you have to build according to patterns. so that
[10:47] Speaker 2: whilst people enjoy and receive the revelations and the blessings
[10:52] Speaker 2: that follow those revelations, they don't fuel self. You bring
[10:57] Speaker 2: them to a point where they realize that all of
[11:00] Speaker 2: the provisions that are made available for me.
[11:02] Speaker 1: In Christ is not just for self-aggrandizement. Are we together?
[11:06] Speaker 2: That at the end of it, it is to equip
[11:10] Speaker 2: me to be an effective witness and to birth the
[11:13] Speaker 2: will of God. Everything around the kingdom. Now, the word gospel,
[11:19] Speaker 2: I'm still digressing. Wherever we stop, thank God we have
[11:22] Speaker 2: two other sessions. But this foundation is important. The word
[11:26] Speaker 2: gospel does not just mean good news. It is a
[11:30] Speaker 2: declaration of blood tidings. But in that, according to scripture,
[11:36] Speaker 2: there are seven distinct gospels. The most popular that we
[11:42] Speaker 2: know is called the gospel of salvation. It's a declaration
[11:47] Speaker 2: of the love of the Father revealed in and through
[11:50] Speaker 2: the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus. But one of those gospels
[11:54] Speaker 2: for our discussion tonight is the gospel of the kingdom.
[11:59] Speaker 2: And although it is by the same Lord and the
[12:02] Speaker 2: same Spirit, the dynamics differ. When you discuss the gospel
[12:07] Speaker 2: of salvation, in that narrative, Jesus is revealed as Savior.
[12:13] Speaker 2: Man is revealed as Savior. A helpless personality unable to
[12:17] Speaker 2: save himself by any work of the law whatsoever. The
[12:21] Speaker 2: father in the narrative of the gospel of salvation is
[12:24] Speaker 2: the initiator of the process that demonstrates his love.
[12:28] Speaker 1: Are we together? And so man really does not do anything.
[12:32] Speaker 2: Man has the privilege of watching a spectacular display of love.
[12:38] Speaker 2: That God so loved the world. And he proved that
[12:41] Speaker 2: love by giving his son. And Jesus came, died, paid
[12:45] Speaker 2: the price.
[12:45] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[12:46] Speaker 2: But when you now teach the gospel of salvation. In
[12:51] Speaker 2: that narrative, Christ is no longer savior.
[12:54] Speaker 1: He is king.
[12:57] Speaker 2: And the helpless personalities called men.
[13:02] Speaker 1: They are no longer helpless. Because at that point they
[13:04] Speaker 1: are saved, they are empowered. Are we together? Are we together?
[13:07] Speaker 2: But then there is an orientation that they sustain. They
[13:10] Speaker 2: now know that God has a program. God has an agenda.
[13:14] Speaker 2: And that their lives must be about birthing the will
[13:17] Speaker 2: of God. And it is from that standpoint that you
[13:20] Speaker 2: begin to explore everything in the kingdom.
[13:23] Speaker 1: Prosperity, health. So if I ask you, why do you
[13:26] Speaker 1: want to be healed?
[13:28] Speaker 2: I am not convinced until your explanation ends up revealing
[13:31] Speaker 2: the will of God. Why do you want to prosper?
[13:35] Speaker 2: If you say, well, I'm tired of suffering. Lester does
[13:38] Speaker 2: not seem to open up. That's a sincere explanation. But
[13:42] Speaker 2: it is not kingdom. Because Christ and his will is
[13:45] Speaker 2: not captured in your explanation. Is someone understanding now? We
[13:49] Speaker 2: become a matured people, not just when we have so
[13:53] Speaker 2: many scriptures in our minds, but when we get to
[13:56] Speaker 2: a point where our wills can die so that his
[14:01] Speaker 2: will is birthed, his will is revealed. And don't get
[14:05] Speaker 2: me wrong, if you truly understand the will of God,
[14:08] Speaker 2: you will know that the will of God is all
[14:10] Speaker 2: about your profiting.
[14:12] Speaker 1: So that it does not look like he's such a
[14:14] Speaker 1: selfish person.
[14:15] Speaker 2: He says, I know the thoughts that I think towards you,
[14:18] Speaker 2: Jeremiah 29, 11, they are thoughts of peace and not
[14:22] Speaker 2: of evil to bring you a future and an expected end.
[14:25] Speaker 1: So God is all about you.
[14:28] Speaker 2: Whilst we were yet sinners, Not even asking, not praying,
[14:32] Speaker 2: not demanding for salvation. He went out of his way.
[14:35] Speaker 2: And if he gave his son, will he not give
[14:37] Speaker 2: you all things to enjoy? Are we together? Praise the
[14:40] Speaker 2: name of the Lord. Someone say, let your will be done.
[14:44] Speaker 2: One more time, say, let your will be done. And
[14:47] Speaker 2: let me just connect that very quickly. And then we'll
[14:50] Speaker 2: hopefully begin our discussion. What exactly is the will of
[14:53] Speaker 2: God for man?
[14:55] Speaker 1: We have to understand this. What is the will of God?
[14:58] Speaker 2: Now, Theologically speaking, there are two dimensions of God's will.
[15:04] Speaker 2: Number one, there's what we call the written will of God.
[15:08] Speaker 2: That means, or the generic will of God. The will
[15:11] Speaker 2: of God for all men. It is not unique to
[15:14] Speaker 2: any individual.
[15:15] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[15:16] Speaker 2: It is every time you find a man, you can
[15:19] Speaker 2: be sure that that is God's will for that man.
[15:23] Speaker 2: And it is written in scripture that God desires that
[15:26] Speaker 2: all men be saved, number one. And then number two,
[15:29] Speaker 2: that they come unto the knowledge of the truth. So
[15:34] Speaker 2: for every man you see, you can be sure that
[15:37] Speaker 2: preaching Christ to them is not going out of the
[15:40] Speaker 2: will of God. Helping them to be part of a
[15:42] Speaker 2: family that builds them spiritually.
[15:44] Speaker 1: You don't need a prophecy on that. Are we together now?
[15:47] Speaker 1: It is the will of God.
[15:48] Speaker 2: So there is the generic or written will of God
[15:52] Speaker 2: as captured in scripture. God desires for all men to
[15:56] Speaker 2: come into the fullness of sonship. The Bible calls it
[15:59] Speaker 2: the hope of his calling. That when he got us saved,
[16:03] Speaker 2: there was an intent in his heart that we structurally
[16:06] Speaker 2: grow and attain maturity through sonship.
[16:09] Speaker 1: Because an heir, for as long as that heir is
[16:12] Speaker 1: a child.
[16:13] Speaker 2: Galatians chapter 4 from verse 1, he differed not from
[16:16] Speaker 2: a slave, even though he be Lord of all.
[16:18] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[16:20] Speaker 2: So that even though we are saved, if we remain children,
[16:24] Speaker 2: we will never be able to release the riches that
[16:28] Speaker 2: are captured in the God life. Because the life we
[16:30] Speaker 2: have received, manifesting the riches, the glory that is embedded
[16:34] Speaker 2: in that life, is knowledge-dependent and maturity-dependent.
[16:40] Speaker 1: Knowledge-dependent. Some of you right here as parents... In your.
[16:44] Speaker 2: Will right now, you have, perhaps you have children who
[16:47] Speaker 2: are not even up to teenage, but there is a
[16:50] Speaker 2: will for them.
[16:52] Speaker 1: But you're not going to give them access to it.
[16:55] Speaker 1: Are we together? Maybe not even a will.
[16:57] Speaker 2: Maybe you've purchased something for them, some shares, investments, and
[17:01] Speaker 2: you are thoughtful enough. Even as much as you love them,
[17:04] Speaker 2: you know that until they attain a state that you
[17:07] Speaker 2: consider maturity enough, you.
[17:09] Speaker 1: Will not grant them access to it.
[17:12] Speaker 2: So in as much as we are saved, we have
[17:14] Speaker 2: received the riches that have come from this life.
[17:17] Speaker 1: It will not profit us, I tell you.
[17:19] Speaker 2: And your difference, the difference between you and one who
[17:22] Speaker 2: is unsaved.
[17:23] Speaker 1: Will barely be you.
[17:24] Speaker 2: It's only from a spiritual standpoint that we can really
[17:27] Speaker 2: tell the difference. But as far as manifesting victory and
[17:30] Speaker 2: dominion is concerned, the difference will not be there.
[17:33] Speaker 1: Because eternal life, releasing.
[17:35] Speaker 2: The riches that eternal life captures is knowledge-dependent. and maturity dependent.
[17:44] Speaker 2: Is someone following me so far? Praise the name of
[17:47] Speaker 2: the Lord.
[17:48] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[17:48] Speaker 2: That means the more we press to gain knowledge, understanding,
[17:52] Speaker 2: and attain unto maturity, the more we are able to
[17:56] Speaker 2: release that which is invested in our spirit for the
[17:59] Speaker 2: nations to see. And at the end of it, Christ
[18:02] Speaker 2: will be glorified. John 15 and verse 8. Herein is
[18:06] Speaker 2: my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit. I hope
[18:10] Speaker 2: you know fruitfulness is proof that the tree has become matured.
[18:15] Speaker 2: A tree only becomes fruitful when it's grown beyond a
[18:18] Speaker 2: certain limit. It will be unfair for you to plant
[18:21] Speaker 2: and by next week you expect fruit.
[18:24] Speaker 1: No, you are patient. You know the tree is growing.
[18:27] Speaker 1: But then it gets to a point where you begin to.
[18:29] Speaker 2: See the indices that attest to the fact that growth
[18:32] Speaker 2: has happened.
[18:34] Speaker 1: John 15, 16. You have not... called me but i
[18:38] Speaker 1: have called you.
[18:39] Speaker 2: And ordained you that you should go and bear fruit
[18:43] Speaker 2: and that your fruit should remain if someone is learning
[18:46] Speaker 2: so far say amen praise the name of the lord
[18:49] Speaker 2: so i'm i'm talking about the will of god that
[18:52] Speaker 2: number one there is the generic or written will of
[18:55] Speaker 2: god we still have that all of us number two
[18:58] Speaker 2: there is what is called the revealed will of god
[19:02] Speaker 2: Now this is the will of God that is revealed
[19:06] Speaker 2: to you on demand. Because your destiny will require progressive.
[19:13] Speaker 1: Revelations of God's will.
[19:15] Speaker 2: There is a generic will that guides you, but progressively
[19:19] Speaker 2: your call, direction, that which God wants you to do
[19:23] Speaker 2: per time and per season. And you will need the
[19:25] Speaker 2: revealed will of God. And that's where the Holy Spirit comes.
[19:29] Speaker 1: Are we together? That the Holy Spirit is a revealer
[19:31] Speaker 1: of the will of God.
[19:33] Speaker 2: No man knows what is in the heart of man,
[19:35] Speaker 2: save the spirit that is in that man. So also
[19:37] Speaker 2: no man knows what is in the heart of the Father,
[19:40] Speaker 2: save the spirit of the Father also.
[19:42] Speaker 1: And that the Holy.
[19:42] Speaker 2: Spirit has the exclusive right to search the mind of
[19:46] Speaker 2: the Father and to reveal to the saints that which
[19:49] Speaker 2: has been stolen.
[19:50] Speaker 1: Ordained for their glory.
[19:51] Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
[19:54] Speaker 2: The revealed will of God. And perhaps some of you
[19:58] Speaker 2: have heard me teach. That in learning the will of God.
[20:01] Speaker 2: There are three biblical ways. I don't know why God
[20:03] Speaker 2: is just. Routing me through this path. But there are
[20:07] Speaker 2: three ways. To accessing the will of God.
[20:10] Speaker 1: Number one. Scripture. Number two. The revelatory ministry of the
[20:14] Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Number three. The prophetic. This is how we
[20:18] Speaker 1: are able to extract the will of God. For our profiting. Again.
[20:22] Speaker 1: Number one. Scripture. The first way we know the will
[20:25] Speaker 1: of God. Is by learning scripture.
[20:27] Speaker 2: The Bible says in Luke chapter 4. That Jesus stood
[20:31] Speaker 2: up for to read. And it was given to him
[20:33] Speaker 2: the scroll of Isaiah. And he found there. Where it
[20:36] Speaker 2: was written. concerning him Hebrews 10.
[20:39] Speaker 1: 7 lo I come in the volume of the book
[20:42] Speaker 1: as it is written of me to do your will.
[20:47] Speaker 2: Hallelujah praise the name of the Lord number two the
[20:50] Speaker 2: revelatory ministry of the Holy Spirit that the Holy Spirit
[20:54] Speaker 2: guides the Holy Spirit reveals as they set themselves to
[20:59] Speaker 2: pray the Holy Ghost spoke to them separate me Paul
[21:02] Speaker 2: and Barnabas and then number three the prophetic I have
[21:07] Speaker 2: spoken to you in similitudes and I have spoken to
[21:10] Speaker 2: you in dreams all by the prophetic.
[21:13] Speaker 1: The prophetic, if under.
[21:15] Speaker 2: The influence of the word of God, can produce power
[21:20] Speaker 2: in that it is able to bring direction and to
[21:22] Speaker 2: bring guidance.
[21:23] Speaker 1: It's someone learning. Praise the name of the Lord.
[21:26] Speaker 2: So I'm hoping that as we explore this topic, it
[21:31] Speaker 2: would not just be a carnal celebration of the awareness
[21:34] Speaker 2: of victory. But now with this background, everything I'm about
[21:38] Speaker 2: to say, because we're going to go deep into this
[21:41] Speaker 2: concept of being blessed, to really understand what it is.
[21:44] Speaker 2: And if you do understand, it will truly change your life.
[21:48] Speaker 2: And you will now appreciate this digression that has come
[21:51] Speaker 2: as a disclaimer. So that in rejoicing, it tames your appetite.
[21:57] Speaker 2: And make sure that your joy is only purified by
[22:01] Speaker 2: its connection to the will of God. So that as
[22:03] Speaker 2: you leave this place tonight, you will leave rejoicing. Knowing
[22:06] Speaker 2: indeed that I am blessed. But you will not speak
[22:09] Speaker 2: as a carnal man. You will speak as one who
[22:11] Speaker 2: is enlightened. That heaven will rejoice over your awareness of
[22:15] Speaker 2: this revelation. Because you would now become an advantage to
[22:19] Speaker 2: the kingdom.
[22:21] Speaker 1: Are we learning?
[22:23] Speaker 2: So can we begin? Let's pray in the spirit for
[22:25] Speaker 2: one minute. Thank you Father for wisdom. Thank you for grace.
[22:33] Speaker 1: It is about your glory.
[22:39] Speaker 2: To see you high and lifted up.
[22:44] Speaker 1: You are shining in the light of your glory. Pour
[22:50] Speaker 1: out your power and love. As we sing holy, holy, holy.
[22:57] Speaker 1: Will see you.
[22:59] Speaker 3: High and lifted up.
[23:03] Speaker 5: You're shining in the light of your glory.
[23:08] Speaker 2: Pour out your power and love.
[23:11] Speaker 1: As we sing holy, holy, holy.
[23:17] Speaker 2: Thank you Holy Spirit. In Jesus much less name we pray.
[23:22] Speaker 2: So I'll be teaching on the blessing. The blessing. Tonight
[23:29] Speaker 2: will be part one. And we'll take it from there.
[23:32] Speaker 2: Wherever we stop, we'll pray.
[23:34] Speaker 1: Go home. Come back. Try again. Go home. Come back.
[23:41] Speaker 2: And then see how far we're able to cover. Amen
[23:44] Speaker 2: and amen. Anyone ready? I rejoice in advance. I rejoice
[23:52] Speaker 2: in advance. Someone's life will change.
[23:58] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[24:01] Speaker 2: Okay, Ephesians chapter 1. We're reading the first three verses.
[24:09] Speaker 2: Ephesians chapter 1. Paul, now notice who he's talking. He
[24:16] Speaker 2: starts by telling you he's an apostle of.
[24:20] Speaker 1: Christ by the... Does it make sense to you everything
[24:24] Speaker 1: we've discussed now?
[24:26] Speaker 2: So you can trust everything he's saying because he's telling
[24:29] Speaker 2: you that his life and his apostleship is not just
[24:33] Speaker 2: about the issues he's discussing, but that ultimately it is
[24:37] Speaker 2: the will of God.
[24:38] Speaker 1: The will of God is what drives him. So Paul,
[24:42] Speaker 1: verse 1 again, media. Paul, and I'm not seeing verse 1,
[24:48] Speaker 1: I'm seeing verse 2. Can we try again? Just do
[24:50] Speaker 1: what you did the first time. I saw that one. Hallelujah. Okay. Okay. No,
[24:57] Speaker 1: just go to verse 1. Let's finish verse 1. Let's
[24:59] Speaker 1: take it slowly. Thank you.
[25:01] Speaker 2: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God.
[25:06] Speaker 2: So this is the person speaking now. Who is he
[25:09] Speaker 2: speaking to? To the saints who are in Leicester. Now,
[25:18] Speaker 2: it's important for you to know so you know whether
[25:20] Speaker 2: the discussion is your business or not. There are certain
[25:24] Speaker 2: discussions that are not your business. So you have to
[25:27] Speaker 2: know who he's speaking and who he's speaking to. This
[25:31] Speaker 2: gives you contextual understanding in discussing scripture.
[25:34] Speaker 1: Are we together? So to the saints. So if you
[25:37] Speaker 1: are the saints, those saved, those.
[25:40] Speaker 2: Who love Jesus, who are faithful in Christ Jesus, then
[25:44] Speaker 2: every other thing I'll be discussing is for you.
[25:48] Speaker 1: Are we learning?
[25:49] Speaker 2: So to the saints who are in Ephesus. Now we're
[25:52] Speaker 2: in Leicester, so we'll not say Ephesus. The saints in
[25:55] Speaker 2: Leicester and the faithful in Christ Jesus.
[25:58] Speaker 1: Verse 2. Grace, I like this.
[26:01] Speaker 2: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and
[26:05] Speaker 2: our Lord Jesus Christ. Shout verse 3 with me please
[26:08] Speaker 2: if you love Jesus. When you see it projected, media,
[26:11] Speaker 2: we're ready for verse 3. Ephesians 1 and verse 3.
[26:17] Speaker 1: Okay, let's go. One, two, go. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
[26:27] Speaker 1: Don't rush it. Don't rush it at all.
[26:29] Speaker 2: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[26:34] Speaker 1: Who asked? Now, there are many things God has done
[26:37] Speaker 1: for us. He saved us. Are we together?
[26:41] Speaker 2: But now Paul is saying he had blessed us. Not
[26:45] Speaker 2: will bless us. He had blessed us. And then he
[26:49] Speaker 2: tells us the extent of the blessing. That he's blessed
[26:52] Speaker 2: us with every spiritual blessing. Every spiritual blessing. But now
[27:02] Speaker 2: there's an issue we need to discuss. Because he tells
[27:05] Speaker 2: us the location. That these spiritual blessings are in heavenly places.
[27:11] Speaker 2: And the code for access is the Christ. So that
[27:18] Speaker 2: if your life fails to capture and reveal these blessings.
[27:22] Speaker 1: It does not change the fact. That God has blessed
[27:25] Speaker 1: you with every spiritual blessing. Are we together? In heavenly places.
[27:32] Speaker 1: In Christ. So let's leave that scripture there. To revisit it.
[27:35] Speaker 1: Let's go to Genesis chapter 12.
[27:38] Speaker 2: The Bible talks about a very interesting man who is
[27:44] Speaker 2: very interesting because the major world religions today, as we know,
[27:49] Speaker 2: all came out from that one man.
[27:52] Speaker 1: Christianity. Are we together?
[27:57] Speaker 2: Judaism and all its expressions. And then Islam. All came
[28:04] Speaker 2: out from that one.
[28:05] Speaker 1: Man, Abraham. So the Bible tells us that this was
[28:10] Speaker 1: a man who was in a nation called Ur of
[28:15] Speaker 1: the Chaldeans. And I don't want to.
[28:18] Speaker 2: Go into the background, but if we had the time,
[28:22] Speaker 2: I would have told you and shown you from scripture
[28:25] Speaker 2: that the first person to be called was not really Abraham.
[28:28] Speaker 2: The first person God called was his father, Terah. But
[28:33] Speaker 2: for whatever reason, he did not respond. And that tells
[28:36] Speaker 2: you how God is. He comes to you and proposes
[28:39] Speaker 2: a superior life. But he gives you the opportunity to
[28:43] Speaker 2: partner with him or reject him. The Bible says as
[28:46] Speaker 2: many as received him. That means not all will receive
[28:49] Speaker 2: him unfortunately. Now the Lord said to Abraham. Get out
[28:54] Speaker 2: of your country from your family. And from your father's
[28:58] Speaker 2: house to a land that I will show you. Verse 2.
[29:01] Speaker 2: Reading to 3. It says I will make you a
[29:04] Speaker 2: great nation. And I will bless you. And make your
[29:11] Speaker 2: name great. Do you know we can spend all night
[29:14] Speaker 2: just discussing what this means? I'm telling you, we can
[29:18] Speaker 2: take the whole day just discussing verse 2. It's a
[29:21] Speaker 2: very profound scripture. I will make your name great. You
[29:25] Speaker 2: can be great without your name being great.
[29:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[29:30] Speaker 2: If you are great without your name being great, your
[29:32] Speaker 2: greatness ends when you leave. How many of you have
[29:37] Speaker 2: heard the word J.P.
[29:39] Speaker 1: Morgan? Chase?
[29:44] Speaker 2: How many of you have heard whatever names that represent dynasties?
[29:49] Speaker 1: That's a great name. An individual can be great.
[29:53] Speaker 2: But if your name is not great, they cannot perpetuate greatness.
[29:57] Speaker 2: Nobody can come under the covering of your name. You see,
[30:01] Speaker 2: in giving inheritance, don't tempt me to digress.
[30:05] Speaker 1: Help me. I'm a pilot tonight. Just help me. Let's
[30:09] Speaker 1: fly straight. No detours. Let's get to where we're going.
[30:12] Speaker 1: But I need to say this.
[30:14] Speaker 2: One of the things the Bible calls inheritance is a
[30:17] Speaker 2: good name.
[30:19] Speaker 1: Are we together? Yes.
[30:21] Speaker 2: That in all your giving, whatever you give your children
[30:24] Speaker 2: or those, if you just give them physical things, you
[30:27] Speaker 2: really did not help them.
[30:30] Speaker 1: A good name.
[30:31] Speaker 2: To be better desired than material wealth.
[30:34] Speaker 1: Anyway. So back to our discussion. I will make your
[30:38] Speaker 1: name great. And you shall be. Take note.
[30:40] Speaker 2: You shall be a blessing. I will bless you. And
[30:44] Speaker 2: you shall be a blessing. Verse 3. I will bless
[30:48] Speaker 2: those who bless you. And I will curse him who
[30:53] Speaker 2: curses you. And in you shall the families.
[30:57] Speaker 1: Of the earth be blessed. If that is you, say amen.
[31:02] Speaker 2: Now, generally across the body of Christ, we use the
[31:05] Speaker 2: word blessed or blessing.
[31:08] Speaker 1: Bless you. We use it to greet.
[31:10] Speaker 2: You know, most of that was an extra from the
[31:14] Speaker 2: way the Jews salute one another. They greet shalom, peace,
[31:19] Speaker 2: blessings to you and all of that. And it was
[31:22] Speaker 2: Bible culture to speak blessings. You see, Paul would begin
[31:25] Speaker 2: or end his conversations with, you know, with blessings and
[31:28] Speaker 2: so on and so forth. And the Psalmist used that
[31:31] Speaker 2: a lot. For instance, Psalm 1, please give it to us.
[31:34] Speaker 2: It says, blessed is the man. Blessed is the man.
[31:38] Speaker 2: Psalm 1, when you read from verse 1 to 3,
[31:41] Speaker 2: blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel
[31:44] Speaker 2: of the ungodly, who stands nor stands in the way
[31:46] Speaker 2: of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
[31:49] Speaker 1: I don't want to go ahead of myself, just leave
[31:51] Speaker 1: us one there.
[31:53] Speaker 2: By the time we get to verse 3, He begins
[31:55] Speaker 2: to describe expressions that attest to whether or not that
[31:59] Speaker 2: man is blessed. So you can use verse 3 to
[32:02] Speaker 2: verify verse 1. If a man tells you I'm blessed
[32:05] Speaker 2: and eventually you do not find the expressions in verse 3.
[32:09] Speaker 2: Something is wrong with his understanding or wrong with that reality.
[32:14] Speaker 1: Are we together? So we use the word blessing or
[32:17] Speaker 1: we use the word blessed.
[32:18] Speaker 2: And it's important for us to really understand what does
[32:23] Speaker 2: it mean to be blessed. When I say bless you.
[32:27] Speaker 2: Or God bless you. Or you are blessed. Or I
[32:30] Speaker 2: call you a blessing. We use it in English. We
[32:33] Speaker 2: use it culturally. But for the most people. We've not
[32:36] Speaker 2: taken out time. And I'm telling you. Even if you
[32:39] Speaker 2: search the dictionary. It only goes so far. But it's
[32:43] Speaker 2: a very pregnant word. That I'm hoping we'll explore in
[32:47] Speaker 2: the course of this conference.
[32:48] Speaker 1: Are you ready for it? So the word blessed. Generally speaking.
[32:55] Speaker 2: Refers to favor, refers to fruitfulness, refers to advancement, refers
[33:03] Speaker 2: to preservation and protection. I'm just broadening the scope for you.
[33:13] Speaker 2: So generally, when you hear the word blessed, these are
[33:18] Speaker 2: the similes that come to your mind. Fruitfulness, favor, preservation, advancement,
[33:26] Speaker 2: everything around that is captured in that word blessed. But
[33:31] Speaker 2: let's do a little Hebrew and Greek just to put perspective.
[33:35] Speaker 2: So the Hebrew word, there are many Hebrew words as
[33:38] Speaker 2: you know. Hebrew is a very deep word and the
[33:42] Speaker 2: Bible was largely, the Old Testament was largely written in Hebrew.
[33:46] Speaker 2: And then the New Testament had a combination of Greek, Aramaic, And,
[33:53] Speaker 2: you know, here and there you would find.
[33:55] Speaker 1: Other expressions, Latin and all of that.
[33:57] Speaker 2: But largely it's believed and agreed that the Old Testament
[34:00] Speaker 2: was largely composed of Hebrew, whilst the New Testament had
[34:05] Speaker 2: a lot of Greek expressions. And so the word blessing really,
[34:10] Speaker 2: there are many words, but I want to select just one.
[34:13] Speaker 1: It's the word barak. B-A-R-A-K.
[34:17] Speaker 2: The word blessing is the word barak. There are other
[34:22] Speaker 2: expressions like Esher. There are other expressions like Baraka that
[34:27] Speaker 2: talks about being a blessing.
[34:30] Speaker 1: You say blessed.
[34:31] Speaker 2: But generally the word Barak, the root word Barak has
[34:35] Speaker 2: to do with stooping down, kneeling down and communicating honor.
[34:41] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[34:42] Speaker 2: So when we talk about the word blessing as the
[34:44] Speaker 2: word of blessed, Barak, the Hebrew word, it gives an
[34:48] Speaker 2: expression of going down on your knees, bowing down, and
[34:55] Speaker 2: communicating honor.
[34:57] Speaker 1: Now you can.
[34:57] Speaker 2: Extend that word to mean kneeling down, stooping down in respect,
[35:02] Speaker 2: and then giving someone a gift, presenting something of value.
[35:07] Speaker 1: Is someone learning now? Yes. Yes. So when you kneel.
[35:13] Speaker 2: Down and worship. When we say bless the Lord. How
[35:17] Speaker 2: do you bless the Lord? By giving him money?
[35:20] Speaker 1: No.
[35:21] Speaker 2: How do you bless the Lord? You see that the honor,
[35:24] Speaker 2: the worship is blessing the Lord. So when you go
[35:28] Speaker 2: down on your knees in worship. As you love him.
[35:31] Speaker 2: As you just pour out your heart to him. You
[35:34] Speaker 2: are blessing the Lord. Is the word Barak. Is someone
[35:38] Speaker 2: learning now? Yeah, so that's very important. And then it
[35:41] Speaker 2: extends to other words like beraka, we're blessing now.
[35:46] Speaker 1: So generally it.
[35:47] Speaker 2: Has to do with praising and it has to do
[35:49] Speaker 2: with stooping down to show respect and in that communicating
[35:53] Speaker 2: benevolence in terms of gifts or whatever it is. But
[35:58] Speaker 2: let's look at the Greek word. I don't want to,
[36:00] Speaker 2: you know, stretch us beyond necessary words. The Greek word
[36:05] Speaker 2: for blessing, and there are two of them. One is
[36:08] Speaker 2: called eulogia. Now, and that's even the root word where
[36:12] Speaker 2: you get, well, let's leave that. But blessing, eulogia, if
[36:17] Speaker 2: you care for the spelling, e-u-l-o-g-i-a, e-u-l-o-g-i-a. And it's from
[36:26] Speaker 2: two words. I'm not going to go into the details.
[36:28] Speaker 2: It simply means a good word. A good word. The
[36:33] Speaker 2: Greek does a better presentation of what we are looking for.
[36:37] Speaker 1: So the word eulogia means a good word.
[36:39] Speaker 2: That means a pronouncement that works for your favor. A
[36:44] Speaker 2: pronouncement that leads to your advancement. A pronouncement that brings protection.
[36:51] Speaker 2: A pronouncement that brings preservation. Who is learning now?
[36:54] Speaker 1: So the word eulogia has to do with declarations.
[36:58] Speaker 2: Whilst barak has to do with worshiping, obeisance and all
[37:02] Speaker 2: of that. Eulogia has to do with pronouncements that produce effects.
[37:08] Speaker 1: Visible, evident effects. Effects of advancement. Effects of blessings. Are
[37:13] Speaker 1: we together?
[37:14] Speaker 2: Now you understand what the Lord did to man. The
[37:16] Speaker 2: Bible says, and God blessed him. And God blessed him
[37:22] Speaker 2: and said to him, be fruitful. It was a divine
[37:27] Speaker 2: pronouncement that must produce an effect. Who is learning so far?
[37:33] Speaker 2: Another word, it's still a Greek word. And I think
[37:36] Speaker 2: that's one that, now that one really means blessed. That
[37:41] Speaker 2: means an expression of it. So one Greek word eulogia
[37:45] Speaker 2: has to do with the speakings that produces the evidence.
[37:50] Speaker 2: Whereas another has to do with becoming an embodiment is
[37:54] Speaker 2: the word makarios. The word makarios there does not just
[38:00] Speaker 2: talk about the pronouncement. It means living in the evidence.
[38:04] Speaker 2: Makarios means being fortunate.
[38:06] Speaker 1: Fortunate.
[38:08] Speaker 2: Makarios means you have been preferred. That means you have
[38:11] Speaker 2: become an embodiment of the favor. It's not just the
[38:14] Speaker 2: pronouncement that was made on you, but you have come
[38:17] Speaker 2: as the evidence.
[38:18] Speaker 1: Who is learning now?
[38:24] Speaker 2: Makarios means fortunate. It means privileged. It means happy. It
[38:32] Speaker 2: means spiritually prosperous. Are we following so far? I just
[38:39] Speaker 2: needed us to have these foundations. For the purpose of
[38:42] Speaker 2: our discussion, we're going to dwell on the Greek expression.
[38:47] Speaker 2: Because that's what captures all that we're doing. That pronouncement
[38:52] Speaker 2: and then you becoming an evidence. Giving you all of
[38:56] Speaker 2: the evidence. And all through our discussion, there are three.
[39:00] Speaker 2: I'm going to break my discussion into three. Number one,
[39:04] Speaker 2: we are going to be understanding what the Bible calls
[39:07] Speaker 2: the blessing of Abraham. Number two, we will understand what
[39:12] Speaker 2: the Bible calls the blessing.
[39:15] Speaker 1: They are not the same. Then number three, we will
[39:18] Speaker 1: understand what the Bible calls blessings. Three things. One, the
[39:24] Speaker 1: blessing of Abraham. Number two, the blessing.
[39:29] Speaker 2: Number three, blessings you see we use these words in
[39:33] Speaker 2: church and in a very well-meaning way but they are
[39:36] Speaker 2: not the same it's the reason why it does not
[39:38] Speaker 2: produce power in our lives who is who is hearing
[39:41] Speaker 2: so far now i need to tell you this.
[39:42] Speaker 1: Both god and men can bless men God can bless men.
[39:49] Speaker 2: Genesis 128. God blessed man. Both God and men can bless.
[39:58] Speaker 2: Blessing is not exclusively reserved to God. Genesis 128. And
[40:02] Speaker 2: God blessed them. Talk to me, who blessed them? God
[40:06] Speaker 2: blessed them and said unto them, In Genesis 1.22, he
[40:13] Speaker 2: blessed creation, he blessed the fishes, and God blessed them.
[40:18] Speaker 2: I hope you know that the same blessing, this is interesting,
[40:21] Speaker 2: isn't it? Most people do not know why the sea,
[40:25] Speaker 2: the waters, the air is rich and fruitful.
[40:28] Speaker 1: It's because God blessed them. Look at it. We focus on.
[40:33] Speaker 2: Genesis 1, 28, and that's wonderful, but we forget that
[40:37] Speaker 2: something happened in Genesis 1, 22.
[40:39] Speaker 1: If it ever works, it's because there is a blessing
[40:42] Speaker 1: on it.
[40:44] Speaker 2: And God blessed them saying, be fruitful and multiply and
[40:48] Speaker 2: fill the waters. He gave them fruitfulness, he gave them multiplication,
[40:53] Speaker 2: but he did not give them dominion.
[40:55] Speaker 1: You see.
[40:56] Speaker 2: So he said fill the waters and let the birds
[41:00] Speaker 2: multiply on the earth.
[41:01] Speaker 1: Can you imagine? So God blesses creation. God blesses men.
[41:05] Speaker 1: How about men?
[41:06] Speaker 2: In Genesis 1, 12, 1 and 3 we already read
[41:09] Speaker 2: that he spoke and proposed a blessing to Abraham. Now
[41:13] Speaker 2: let's look at men blessing men. Genesis 24. Give us
[41:17] Speaker 2: verse 16. Genesis chapter 24.
[41:21] Speaker 1: So Rebecca is about to leave her family. Are we
[41:25] Speaker 1: Bible students?
[41:26] Speaker 2: Rebecca is leaving her family to go to Isaac. Finally,
[41:30] Speaker 2: they found a wife for Isaac called Rebecca. And they
[41:33] Speaker 2: blessed Rebecca and said unto her, Our sister, may you
[41:38] Speaker 2: become the mother of thousands and ten thousands. Can I
[41:42] Speaker 2: prophesy over a daughter of Abraham here? In the name
[41:45] Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ, may you become a mother of thousands.
[41:50] Speaker 1: Now listen, listen.
[41:51] Speaker 2: Already, you are wise enough to know That is not
[41:55] Speaker 2: just saying your womb should give birth to 1,000 people.
[42:01] Speaker 2: Even if you get pregnant every week. That already should
[42:07] Speaker 2: inform you. You need to understand the thinking of the
[42:11] Speaker 2: people who wrote.
[42:12] Speaker 1: By what they are saying. Are we together? The mother
[42:16] Speaker 1: of thousands, of 10,000.
[42:18] Speaker 2: And may your descendants possess the gates of those who
[42:22] Speaker 2: hate them. this a good prayer in the name of
[42:25] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ may your descendants possess the gates of those
[42:29] Speaker 2: who hate them please be seated so God can bless.
[42:39] Speaker 1: And men can bless.
[42:42] Speaker 2: Is it in your Bible that Isaac was about to
[42:46] Speaker 2: die then he calls his son Esau he says come
[42:50] Speaker 2: make me venison such as I love.
[42:54] Speaker 1: I want to eat.
[42:55] Speaker 2: That venison so that my soul will be delighted and
[42:59] Speaker 2: I will bless you and die. And Esau leaves to
[43:04] Speaker 2: the wilderness to go and catch. Now isn't it interesting
[43:09] Speaker 2: that what Esau went to look for, Isaac already had
[43:13] Speaker 2: in his house.
[43:14] Speaker 1: So why did he ask him to go to the field? Hallelujah.
[43:20] Speaker 2: He wanted him to bring the fruit of his values.
[43:24] Speaker 2: So he would speak to him. And once that happened unfortunately.
[43:29] Speaker 2: Isn't it amazing that.
[43:30] Speaker 1: This same Rebecca again.
[43:37] Speaker 2: She calls Jacob and says I have heard something. A
[43:40] Speaker 2: blessing is about to leave your father. But we have
[43:44] Speaker 2: an advantage because he is blind. His blindness can be
[43:49] Speaker 2: an advantage.
[43:50] Speaker 1: You see that. May you not be blinded. Because blindness
[43:57] Speaker 1: can cost you. It can. Hallelujah.
[44:00] Speaker 2: And so he said, okay, I will prepare this for you.
[44:03] Speaker 2: And Jacob became afraid. Jacob said, no, my father may
[44:06] Speaker 2: be blind, but he will feel me. My brother is hairy.
[44:10] Speaker 1: And I'm not hairy. He said, don't worry. We'll get
[44:12] Speaker 1: something and just create and simulate. He said, please. So
[44:16] Speaker 1: I don't end up securing a cause. He said, don't worry.
[44:18] Speaker 1: I know he's my husband. I know what to do.
[44:22] Speaker 2: And then the Bible says that he went, you find
[44:24] Speaker 2: that in Genesis 27. And he goes to get everything
[44:29] Speaker 2: and meets his father and says, Father, I'm Esau, I
[44:32] Speaker 2: brought it. Somewhere in the course of this conference, I'll
[44:36] Speaker 2: prophesy verse 20 for you. Even though he was lying,
[44:39] Speaker 2: but there's a powerful principle there.
[44:41] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[44:43] Speaker 2: And he met him, he said, how is it that
[44:44] Speaker 2: you have gotten it so quickly?
[44:46] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[44:48] Speaker 2: He said because the Lord God has brought it to me.
[44:51] Speaker 2: Even though he was lying. Let me use it as
[44:54] Speaker 2: a prophetic word. The things that others are looking for.
[44:58] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus you will get it quickly.
[45:01] Speaker 2: Because my God will bring it to you. How is
[45:04] Speaker 2: it that you got the job so quickly? How is
[45:07] Speaker 2: it that the lines you got everything so quickly? I
[45:10] Speaker 2: release grace upon you as I speak right now. Grace
[45:15] Speaker 2: upon you. Help us under the.
[45:16] Speaker 1: Anointing in the name of Jesus. Please be seated. It's
[45:25] Speaker 1: too early. Let's leave that. It's too early. It's too early.
[45:35] Speaker 2: He said, because the Lord God has brought it to me.
[45:38] Speaker 2: And so he convinced his father. But he said something, ah,
[45:43] Speaker 2: I have many things to say. Holy Spirit help me.
[45:45] Speaker 2: Verse 21. Jacob or Isaac said, He said come so
[45:52] Speaker 2: that I may feel you my son. Whether you are
[45:55] Speaker 2: really Esau or not. Verse 22.
[45:58] Speaker 1: Leaders.
[45:59] Speaker 2: This is one way to discern deception. The voice is
[46:03] Speaker 2: the voice of Jacob. But the hand are the hands
[46:07] Speaker 2: of Esau. Can you imagine? He went near to Isaac
[46:12] Speaker 2: and said my father. He felt him and said no.
[46:15] Speaker 2: Something in my spirit. It is true that it is.
[46:19] Speaker 2: The voice betrays you. It is the voice of Jacob.
[46:23] Speaker 2: But the hand, it's true that they are the hands
[46:25] Speaker 2: of Esau. Anyway, he now speaks a blessing over him.
[46:30] Speaker 2: And Jacob receives it. And as soon as Jacob leaves,
[46:34] Speaker 2: the Bible says Esau returns. And Esau says, my father,
[46:39] Speaker 2: I brought the meal. And he said, what is this?
[46:43] Speaker 2: I mean, what has happened to you?
[46:45] Speaker 1: What has happened? I just, I was deceived.
[46:49] Speaker 2: I have spoken the blessing already. The Bible says a
[46:52] Speaker 2: hardworking adult with skill, ability to fend for himself, began
[46:58] Speaker 2: to cry. And Isaac trembled exceedingly, verse 33. And said, ooh,
[47:05] Speaker 2: where is the one who hunted and brought it to me?
[47:07] Speaker 2: I ate of it and I have blessed him. And
[47:10] Speaker 2: indeed he shall be blessed, verse 34. When Esau had
[47:16] Speaker 2: the words, he cried, questioned, what really is the blessing?
[47:20] Speaker 2: Because Esau was not a lazy man. We're not talking
[47:23] Speaker 2: of someone who is not productive. We're talking of an adult.
[47:27] Speaker 2: What makes an adult to cry with very sin in
[47:30] Speaker 2: your hand?
[47:31] Speaker 1: It means if you.
[47:32] Speaker 2: Don't understand that blessing, there is no guarantee to living
[47:36] Speaker 2: a victorious life.
[47:37] Speaker 1: Whatever will make an adult cry.
[47:40] Speaker 2: And say, Father, he said, bless me also. Find a
[47:44] Speaker 2: way of doing it. If it was all about pronouncement,
[47:48] Speaker 2: couldn't he just repeat it again? He said your brother
[47:58] Speaker 2: came with deceit. And has taken away. What did he
[48:02] Speaker 2: take away?
[48:03] Speaker 4: 36.
[48:09] Speaker 1: And Esau said.
[48:11] Speaker 2: Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted
[48:15] Speaker 2: me these two times. He took away my birthright. And
[48:18] Speaker 2: he took away my blessings. And he said, have you
[48:22] Speaker 2: not reserved a blessing for me?
[48:24] Speaker 1: Watch this, 37.
[48:25] Speaker 2: Then Isaac answered and said, indeed, I have made him
[48:30] Speaker 2: your master. When did that happen? I have made him
[48:39] Speaker 2: your master. And all his brethren I have given to
[48:45] Speaker 2: him as servants. With grain and wine I have sustained him.
[48:50] Speaker 1: What shall I do for you now, my son? Verse 38.
[48:55] Speaker 2: And Esau said to his father, Have you only one blessing,
[48:58] Speaker 2: my father? Bless me also, O my father. And Esau
[49:01] Speaker 2: lifted up his voice and cried.
[49:03] Speaker 1: I just want to show you one scripture and then
[49:05] Speaker 1: we'll get back to our discussion.
[49:07] Speaker 2: And Isaac, his father, said unto him, Behold, your dwelling
[49:11] Speaker 2: shall be of the fatness of the earth and of
[49:13] Speaker 2: the dew of the heaven from above. Verse 40. By
[49:18] Speaker 2: your sword you shall lead And you shall serve your brother.
[49:22] Speaker 2: And it shall come to pass. Now we leave this
[49:27] Speaker 2: till we get to Jesus Christ. It shall come to pass.
[49:32] Speaker 2: That under a certain condition. When you become restless. You
[49:38] Speaker 2: shall break that yoke. Give us NLT or NIV. It
[49:47] Speaker 2: doesn't just call it yoke. It shall come to pass
[49:52] Speaker 2: when you become restless. That there is a burden. If
[49:56] Speaker 2: you can't get it.
[49:57] Speaker 1: That's fine. Hallelujah.
[49:59] Speaker 2: It talks about breaking the dominion. The dominion. That's the
[50:04] Speaker 2: word I'm looking for. Of your brother over you.
[50:07] Speaker 1: Anyway. Anyway.
[50:11] Speaker 2: I just wanted you to see the implication of being blessed.
[50:14] Speaker 2: Adults cried in Bible days. Because they did not get blessings.
[50:19] Speaker 2: Today most believers just trivialize it. And we generally say
[50:23] Speaker 2: I am blessed. But we don't expect anything to happen
[50:25] Speaker 2: in our lives.
[50:26] Speaker 1: As an advantage.
[50:29] Speaker 2: Praise the name of the Lord. But I pray that
[50:31] Speaker 2: things will change. From this conference. You believe that say Amen.
[50:37] Speaker 2: So in the Old Testament. The blessing. Was an empowerment
[50:42] Speaker 2: to prosper. In the Old Testament. The blessing was largely concerned.
[50:48] Speaker 2: With being empowered.
[50:50] Speaker 1: To prosper.
[50:51] Speaker 2: Empowered to advance. Empowered to be fruitful.
[50:57] Speaker 1: And to be preserved. Are we together?
[50:59] Speaker 2: So throughout the Old Testament. Everywhere you see the blessing.
[51:03] Speaker 2: It largely had to do. With a priestly and prophetic pronouncement.
[51:08] Speaker 2: That produced an effect.
[51:10] Speaker 1: Of favor. An effect of fruitfulness. Are we together?
[51:15] Speaker 2: It was an empowerment that made an individual, any individual whatsoever,
[51:19] Speaker 2: to be preserved.
[51:21] Speaker 1: It is safe for you to look.
[51:22] Speaker 2: At the Bible and every expression in the Old Testament
[51:26] Speaker 2: of preservation, advancement, etc.
[51:29] Speaker 1: It was credited to the blessing. Are we learning now?
[51:33] Speaker 1: Now but something, the dynamics of the blessing began to
[51:36] Speaker 1: change as we approach the New Testament.
[51:38] Speaker 2: In fact, the foundation of it began with Father Abraham.
[51:43] Speaker 2: Now we're delving into the blessing of Abraham. If you're writing,
[51:47] Speaker 2: please write that down. The blessing of Abraham. I want
[51:50] Speaker 2: to discuss the blessing of Abraham. Haven't laid the foundation,
[51:54] Speaker 2: just a general understanding. Now most times to the average believer,
[51:59] Speaker 2: and please by no means don't find any offense at all.
[52:02] Speaker 2: When we say the blessing of Abraham, here's what most
[52:05] Speaker 2: believers think. Cars, Houses.
[52:08] Speaker 1: A job. Promotion. And they are not necessarily wrong.
[52:13] Speaker 2: Except that that's not really what the Bible calls the blessing.
[52:16] Speaker 1: In fact.
[52:18] Speaker 2: When the Bible mentions the word blessing, it has nothing
[52:21] Speaker 2: to do with material things. Material things only come as
[52:26] Speaker 2: an attestation that you have been blessed.
[52:29] Speaker 1: Are we together? Praise the name of the Lord. So
[52:31] Speaker 1: when we talk about.
[52:32] Speaker 2: Blessings in the kingdom or the blessing now, I'd like
[52:35] Speaker 2: you to take your mind away from a good house,
[52:38] Speaker 2: a good car. Those things are by their eventual product.
[52:43] Speaker 2: You can have all those things without being blessed. Diligence
[52:46] Speaker 2: can bring them. The blessing is higher, greater, by far
[52:52] Speaker 2: more superior than any physical or material thing.
[52:55] Speaker 1: Even though it does control them. Are we together? Now
[52:58] Speaker 1: let's examine the blessing of Abraham.
[53:01] Speaker 2: Isaiah chapter 51 from verse 1 and 2. The blessing
[53:05] Speaker 2: of Abraham. If you are learning so far, say Amen.
[53:09] Speaker 2: Please be patient with me as I build this. We've
[53:12] Speaker 2: established a number of things that one, the blessings have
[53:15] Speaker 2: to do with pronouncements that produce effects. Effects such as peace, prosperity, happiness, etc.
[53:22] Speaker 2: And that God can bless and men can bless. We're
[53:27] Speaker 2: still working together on that?
[53:28] Speaker 1: Alright, so it says, happened to me.
[53:31] Speaker 2: Ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord.
[53:35] Speaker 2: It says, look unto the rock from whence ye were
[53:39] Speaker 2: healed and to the hole of the pit when ye
[53:41] Speaker 2: were digged. Verse 2. It says, look unto Abraham your father.
[53:49] Speaker 2: The word look unto means understudy. He is the portrait
[53:53] Speaker 2: of what I call the blessing or a blessed man.
[53:57] Speaker 2: If you want to study what it means to be
[53:59] Speaker 2: blessed by God in the Bible, your study is not
[54:02] Speaker 2: complete until you do a case study. Now the way
[54:05] Speaker 2: God works is that sometimes in helping us understand him,
[54:09] Speaker 2: he will call men and deal with those men in
[54:13] Speaker 2: a certain way that they become an embodiment of certain possibilities.
[54:17] Speaker 2: So every time you don't understand what he's saying, he
[54:20] Speaker 2: will refer you to that man. If we are talking
[54:24] Speaker 2: about a blessed man, Abraham is the Bible's portrait of
[54:29] Speaker 2: a blessed man.
[54:30] Speaker 1: If we are talking about encounters, Jacob, are we together?
[54:34] Speaker 2: His encounter in Genesis 32 is a portrait of what
[54:38] Speaker 2: the Bible calls encounter. If we are talking wisdom, Solomon
[54:41] Speaker 2: for instance, are you seeing now? So there are individuals
[54:44] Speaker 2: who embody certain spiritual possibilities so that in studying their
[54:48] Speaker 2: lives you can learn the ways of God. So look
[54:53] Speaker 2: unto Abraham. The word look there does not just mean
[54:55] Speaker 2: you can't even find Abraham now.
[54:57] Speaker 1: He's long dead.
[54:58] Speaker 2: But he means understudy him. There is a way that
[55:01] Speaker 2: I led Abraham. And if you follow that path, you
[55:05] Speaker 2: will eventually arrive an embodiment of a blessed man.
[55:10] Speaker 1: It says, I called him alone and blessed him and
[55:14] Speaker 1: increased him.
[55:15] Speaker 2: So let's study the life of Abraham to understand what
[55:18] Speaker 2: it means today. To be blessed. The Bible calls it
[55:21] Speaker 2: the blessing of Abraham. Genesis chapter 12, 1 to 3.
[55:26] Speaker 2: Write that for reference. We already read that. We won't
[55:28] Speaker 2: go back to it again. Then let's go to Genesis 17.
[55:31] Speaker 2: We'll look at 6 and 7. We're doing a bit
[55:35] Speaker 2: of Bible study. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful.
[55:40] Speaker 2: This is still God speaking to Abraham. And I will
[55:43] Speaker 2: make nations of thee. And kings shall come out of thee.
[55:47] Speaker 2: Verse 7.
[55:50] Speaker 1: I will establish my covenant. Watch this.
[55:53] Speaker 2: Between me and thee and thy seed. After thee in
[55:57] Speaker 2: their generations for an everlasting covenant. What is a covenant?
[56:02] Speaker 2: To be a God unto thee and to your seed.
[56:08] Speaker 2: So when you say the God of Abraham. You are
[56:14] Speaker 2: not just naming God after Abraham. Are we together? He's
[56:18] Speaker 2: saying that I have an everlasting covenant to you and
[56:22] Speaker 2: to your seed. That I will be a God unto
[56:27] Speaker 2: thee and to your seed that is after thee. Now,
[56:31] Speaker 2: Genesis chapter 15, please. Genesis chapter 15. Let's connect a
[56:36] Speaker 2: few things very quickly. From verse 1. Genesis 15 from
[56:41] Speaker 2: verse 1. After these things, the word of the Lord
[56:45] Speaker 2: came to Abraham in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abraham,
[56:48] Speaker 2: I am thy shield and your exceeding great reward. And
[56:54] Speaker 2: Abraham said, Lord God, what will thou give me? Remember,
[56:57] Speaker 2: at this time, he's still without Isaac. He's still without
[57:00] Speaker 2: a child. What will thou give me, seeing that I
[57:03] Speaker 2: go childless? And the steward of my house is Eliezer
[57:06] Speaker 2: of Damascus. Verse 3, reading to 6. And Abraham said, behold,
[57:12] Speaker 2: to me thou has given no seed. And lo, one
[57:17] Speaker 2: born in my house is my heir. No one, he's
[57:21] Speaker 2: trying to say. And behold, the word of the Lord
[57:24] Speaker 2: came to him saying, now everybody listen. This shall not
[57:28] Speaker 2: be your heir, but he that shall come out from
[57:31] Speaker 2: your own boils shall be your heir.
[57:34] Speaker 1: Verse 5.
[57:35] Speaker 2: And he brought him forth abroad. He said, look towards
[57:39] Speaker 2: heaven and try to count the stars.
[57:42] Speaker 1: Do you know what he's doing?
[57:43] Speaker 2: I'll explain to you shortly. If thou are able to
[57:46] Speaker 2: count them and he said, so shall your seed be. Finally,
[57:51] Speaker 2: verse 6, Abraham believed in the Lord and it was
[57:56] Speaker 2: credited to him for righteousness. So there was a conversation
[58:04] Speaker 2: that happened between God and Abraham. The Bible says that
[58:09] Speaker 2: God kept proposing to Abraham that he was going to
[58:11] Speaker 2: become a father.
[58:12] Speaker 1: Of great nations. Are we together?
[58:14] Speaker 2: But for some reason, and according to scripture, it took
[58:18] Speaker 2: Abraham a long time to believe God. Because Abraham was
[58:21] Speaker 2: not interested in having multitude children as the stars or
[58:24] Speaker 2: the seashore.
[58:25] Speaker 1: He just needed a child. Are we together? Are we together?
[58:29] Speaker 2: All his concern was to have a child. And God
[58:31] Speaker 2: was proposing something bigger, better, greater. And it kept frustrating Abraham.
[58:38] Speaker 2: And God didn't seem to get his attention in agreeing
[58:41] Speaker 2: on that promise and that covenant. And here's how God
[58:44] Speaker 2: helped him. He called him one night and tells Abraham,
[58:47] Speaker 2: look at the stars. Try to count them.
[58:49] Speaker 1: Then he will count, count, and then.
[58:52] Speaker 2: you know, loose counting. He says that's the way your
[58:55] Speaker 2: seed will be. Finally, even though he had no child,
[58:59] Speaker 2: Abraham believed God. And the Bible says it was credited
[59:05] Speaker 2: unto him for righteousness. Now keep that scripture, turn with me.
[59:10] Speaker 2: me to Romans chapter 4 this is where we thank
[59:15] Speaker 2: God for this noble apostle an apostle of apostles indeed
[59:19] Speaker 2: begin from verse 1 Paul now makes reference to that
[59:24] Speaker 2: encounter and And he now gives us a biblical contextual perspective.
[59:29] Speaker 1: What shall we say then?
[59:32] Speaker 2: That Abraham our father as pertaining to the flesh has found.
[59:37] Speaker 2: For if Abraham were justified by works. He had wherefore
[59:42] Speaker 2: to glory but not before God.
[59:45] Speaker 1: Verse 3.
[59:47] Speaker 2: So give us NIV. I'm a King James person. Some
[59:50] Speaker 2: of you are not getting the D and O. So
[59:53] Speaker 2: just give us NIV or something so that that will
[59:56] Speaker 2: help us.
[59:57] Speaker 1: At least for now, for now. We'll go back to,
[59:59] Speaker 1: we're kings, we're kings. We'll go back to KJV. So
[1:00:03] Speaker 1: are we on NIV? Okay.
[1:00:07] Speaker 2: Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: You see that now?
[1:00:13] Speaker 2: So Paul is making reference to Genesis 15.
[1:00:16] Speaker 1: Now, verse 4, verse 4.
[1:00:20] Speaker 2: Now, to the one who walks, wages are not credited
[1:00:24] Speaker 2: as a gift but as an obligation.
[1:00:27] Speaker 1: Paul is explaining. However, to the one who.
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: Does not walk but trusts God, who justifies the ungodly. Now,
[1:00:36] Speaker 2: Paul is telling us that that thing has nothing to
[1:00:39] Speaker 2: do with children.
[1:00:40] Speaker 1: Amen.
[1:00:41] Speaker 2: The blessing of Abraham is a mystery that was hidden.
[1:00:45] Speaker 2: That Paul now was unveiling to us.
[1:00:47] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:00:48] Speaker 2: That what you call the blessing of Abraham is a mystery.
[1:00:52] Speaker 1: That asks out how to be justified by faith.
[1:00:59] Speaker 2: To the one who does not walk but trust God
[1:01:02] Speaker 2: who justifies the ungodly.
[1:01:04] Speaker 1: Listen.
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: Their faith is credited as righteousness. Verse 6. However, David
[1:01:11] Speaker 2: said the same thing when he spoke of the blessedness
[1:01:14] Speaker 2: of the one who God credits righteousness apart from work.
[1:01:18] Speaker 1: Seven now.
[1:01:19] Speaker 2: He said, blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven and
[1:01:23] Speaker 2: whose sins are covered.
[1:01:25] Speaker 1: Final verse.
[1:01:26] Speaker 2: Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never
[1:01:29] Speaker 2: count against them.
[1:01:30] Speaker 1: So look up.
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: What was he discussing in that whole conversation?
[1:01:35] Speaker 1: Just help those under the anointing. Now look at this.
[1:01:39] Speaker 2: He's saying, Paul is teaching us that the issue of stars,
[1:01:43] Speaker 2: the issue of children, whatever it is, to the carnal man,
[1:01:48] Speaker 2: he's just looking at the story. But Paul is saying
[1:01:51] Speaker 2: there is a deeper mystery in that story. And if
[1:01:54] Speaker 2: all you look at is the story, then you've not
[1:01:56] Speaker 2: gotten the revelation. That out of that story, the mystery
[1:02:00] Speaker 2: is justification by faith. How a man will believe God...
[1:02:05] Speaker 2: Over something your ability cannot produce. And that the moment
[1:02:08] Speaker 2: you believe God, it is credited to you. That was
[1:02:12] Speaker 2: the formula that was used to impart salvation. So a
[1:02:16] Speaker 2: message comes to believers. And even though we do not,
[1:02:20] Speaker 2: it looks impossible. We believe and we receive the blessing
[1:02:25] Speaker 2: of Abraham. So the blessing of Abraham is not cars,
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: is not houses.
[1:02:33] Speaker 1: It is justification by faith. Is someone learning?
[1:02:42] Speaker 2: Galatians chapter 3.
[1:02:44] Speaker 1: Give us verse 13. I love, I love.
[1:02:50] Speaker 2: Galatians 3.
[1:02:52] Speaker 1: I love your presence. I love, I love. I love you, Jesus.
[1:03:06] Speaker 1: I love, I love. I love your presence. Now read
[1:03:15] Speaker 1: for you.
[1:03:16] Speaker 2: Christ, Paul again, has redeemed us. He's talking redemption now.
[1:03:23] Speaker 2: From the curse of the law. By becoming a curse
[1:03:26] Speaker 2: for us. For it is written. Curse is everyone who
[1:03:31] Speaker 2: is hung on the cross or on the pole.
[1:03:33] Speaker 1: To what end? Fifteen. Give it to us from verse.
[1:03:43] Speaker 1: Let's go back to KJV. Thirteen. Fourteen. Let's go back
[1:03:47] Speaker 1: to fourteen. Media. That the. Talk to me everybody. That the.
[1:03:55] Speaker 1: Might come on who? Now questions.
[1:04:00] Speaker 2: How does the blessing of Abraham come upon the Gentiles?
[1:04:03] Speaker 2: Because we are not part of his natural descent. So
[1:04:07] Speaker 2: how are we supposed to receive that? If all he
[1:04:09] Speaker 2: was talking about was physical things. You don't qualify to
[1:04:12] Speaker 2: inherit anything from Abraham. Because we are not Jews historically.
[1:04:17] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:04:18] Speaker 2: We are Gentiles. So that talk should not even affect us.
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: But now he says.
[1:04:23] Speaker 1: Christ. He introduces a factor.
[1:04:25] Speaker 2: That Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
[1:04:28] Speaker 2: Being made a curse for us. For it is written.
[1:04:31] Speaker 2: Cursed is he that hangs on a tree. And the
[1:04:34] Speaker 2: reason for all of that. Verse 14. Is that the
[1:04:38] Speaker 2: blessing of Abraham. Replaced that expression.
[1:04:41] Speaker 1: That justification. By faith. May come upon the Gentiles. Through
[1:04:47] Speaker 1: Jesus Christ.
[1:04:51] Speaker 2: So the next time you hear the blessing of Abraham,
[1:04:54] Speaker 2: what it means is the formula Abraham used to be
[1:04:58] Speaker 2: credited as righteous is the gift we are given.
[1:05:01] Speaker 1: What is the formula? The word is 90.
[1:05:04] Speaker 2: The word comes to you in your mouth and in
[1:05:07] Speaker 2: your heart if you believe it is credited to you.
[1:05:12] Speaker 2: That you have no power to save yourself. You have
[1:05:16] Speaker 2: no power to lift yourself.
[1:05:17] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:05:18] Speaker 2: But that you can believe in the finished work of Christ.
[1:05:22] Speaker 2: Believing that he came as a propitiation.
[1:05:24] Speaker 1: For your sin. That he hung upon the tree. Are
[1:05:28] Speaker 1: we together now? Yes.
[1:05:29] Speaker 2: That the verdict is that all have sinned and have
[1:05:32] Speaker 2: fallen short of the glory of God. But that you
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: believe that report as frail as you are. Not feeling righteous.
[1:05:39] Speaker 2: Not feeling worthy like Abraham. If you believe immediately it
[1:05:45] Speaker 2: is credited to you for righteousness.
[1:05:51] Speaker 1: The blessing of Abraham is not cars. It is not houses.
[1:05:56] Speaker 2: No. The blessing of Abraham is justification by faith.
[1:06:04] Speaker 1: Now but listen. Justification by faith is not the end.
[1:06:10] Speaker 1: It is a means. You see that it does not
[1:06:12] Speaker 1: end there. So receiving the.
[1:06:15] Speaker 2: Blessing of Abraham is a passage to go further. That
[1:06:19] Speaker 2: leads you to receiving the blessing. Without receiving the blessing
[1:06:26] Speaker 2: of Abraham, you cannot receive the blessing. And if you
[1:06:31] Speaker 2: do not receive the blessing, you cannot have blessings. So
[1:06:40] Speaker 2: the journey of a blessed man does not start with intellect.
[1:06:43] Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no.
[1:06:45] Speaker 2: It starts with receiving the blessing of Abraham. I will
[1:06:50] Speaker 2: show you how this happened. Just be patient with me.
[1:06:53] Speaker 2: It says that the blessing of Abraham might come upon
[1:06:56] Speaker 2: the Gentiles through Christ Jesus.
[1:06:57] Speaker 1: Are you seeing it there? That we might receive the promise.
[1:07:02] Speaker 2: That already tells you what the blessing is. That we
[1:07:05] Speaker 2: might receive the promise of the Spirit still through faith.
[1:07:10] Speaker 2: Then he puts a full stop. So the end of
[1:07:13] Speaker 2: that journey is that the blessing of Abraham ushers you
[1:07:18] Speaker 2: into receiving the blessing. Whilst the blessing in the Old
[1:07:23] Speaker 2: Testament ended with supernatural pronouncements that programmed you towards a
[1:07:28] Speaker 2: life of grace, this one is beyond a pronouncement. It's
[1:07:32] Speaker 2: a personality alongside all his possibilities coming to indwell a believer.
[1:07:38] Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit is called the blessing. Now hold on,
[1:07:45] Speaker 2: hold on, hold on, hold on. Keep your finger here.
[1:07:49] Speaker 2: I hope you like Bible studies. Find a way of keeping.
[1:07:52] Speaker 1: Your finger on this scripture because we are coming back.
[1:07:55] Speaker 1: Go quickly with me to Psalm 133. Psalm 133. Psalm 133.
[1:08:04] Speaker 1: give it to us please.
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: Psalm 133 behold how good and how pleasant it is
[1:08:10] Speaker 2: for brethren to dwell together in unity are we bible
[1:08:12] Speaker 2: students verse 2 it is like the precious ointment upon
[1:08:17] Speaker 2: the head that ran upon the bed even aaron's bed
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: and went down to his garments verse 3 and as
[1:08:24] Speaker 2: the dew of hammond And a dew that descended upon
[1:08:30] Speaker 2: the mount of Zion. How does that dew come? Descending
[1:08:33] Speaker 2: upon the mount of Zion. For there.
[1:08:36] Speaker 1: In that corporate gathering. Are we together? The Lord had
[1:08:40] Speaker 1: commanded the.
[1:08:42] Speaker 2: Go to Acts chapter 2 and verse 1.
[1:08:47] Speaker 1: Now you will see a playing out of this. Acts
[1:08:49] Speaker 1: chapter 2. Remember. It says when brethren gather together.
[1:08:53] Speaker 2: Something happens. Whatever descends is called what?
[1:08:56] Speaker 1: The. Talk to me. Are we Bible students?
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: That when they gather together that gathering that state among
[1:09:04] Speaker 2: the many things that descend like the.
[1:09:06] Speaker 1: Dew from zion is the blessing.
[1:09:10] Speaker 2: Even life forevermore Now in Acts chapter 2 and verse 1.
[1:09:16] Speaker 2: The Bible says when the day of Pentecost was fully come.
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: They were together in. Did they fulfill Psalm 133? Now
[1:09:26] Speaker 2: let's see what is about to come suddenly. There was
[1:09:28] Speaker 2: a sound from heaven. As of a mighty rushing wind.
[1:09:33] Speaker 2: And it filled the house where they were sitting. Verse 3.
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: If you're a believer, there appeared unto them cloven tongues
[1:09:40] Speaker 2: as of fire. And it sat upon each one of them.
[1:09:42] Speaker 2: Number 4. And they were all.
[1:09:44] Speaker 1: Filled with the... No, you got that wrong. With the...
[1:09:50] Speaker 1: With the... Is someone learning? So Psalm 133.
[1:10:13] Speaker 2: Tells us that in that gathering, descending from Zion like
[1:10:18] Speaker 2: the dew of Haman, God has commanded that the blessing
[1:10:22] Speaker 2: should rest, even life forevermore. They are about to act
[1:10:25] Speaker 2: that on the day of Pentecost, never knowing that it
[1:10:28] Speaker 2: was written already.
[1:10:29] Speaker 1: They were gathered in one accord suddenly. The blessing. Not
[1:10:34] Speaker 1: a pronouncement. No. In the old testament it was a pronouncement.
[1:10:39] Speaker 2: But this time around. It was beyond just speaking. It
[1:10:43] Speaker 2: was an embodiment. Of the speakings of God. Alos paracletos
[1:10:48] Speaker 2: they call him. He's the paraclet. Beyond just empowering you
[1:10:53] Speaker 2: to make progress. Is someone learning now? The bible says
[1:10:57] Speaker 2: he rested on each and every one of them. Each
[1:11:02] Speaker 2: and every one of them. And immediately. Isaiah 32 and
[1:11:08] Speaker 2: verse 15. Became a reality. That until the spirit of God.
[1:11:11] Speaker 2: Is poured upon us from on high. Then the wilderness.
[1:11:15] Speaker 2: Is a spiritual language. Shall be counted for a fruitful vine.
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: Three thousand people. Were saved in one encounter. And from
[1:11:24] Speaker 2: there there was a movement. That has become an unstoppable
[1:11:28] Speaker 2: force today. Is someone learning now? Praise the name of
[1:11:33] Speaker 2: the Lord. So sit down.
[1:11:35] Speaker 1: Let's go back to Galatians chapter 3.
[1:11:37] Speaker 2: We read 13 to 15.
[1:11:39] Speaker 1: Now jump with me to 26.
[1:11:41] Speaker 2: We'll read 26 to 29.
[1:11:43] Speaker 1: If someone is learning, say Amen.
[1:11:47] Speaker 2: Endure sound doctrine. Sometimes the teachings line up online. Connecting
[1:11:52] Speaker 2: scriptures will take a while. But once you are patient,
[1:11:55] Speaker 2: you now begin to see the threat. Do you know
[1:11:57] Speaker 2: why I'm stretching you like this? Because conviction is built
[1:12:01] Speaker 2: on understanding. It is not what you do that produces power.
[1:12:05] Speaker 2: It is the understanding that supports what you do. So
[1:12:08] Speaker 2: that when you tell someone be blessed or you say
[1:12:11] Speaker 2: I am blessed. These are the revelations that frame. They
[1:12:14] Speaker 2: are like the bolts that tie your faith. It becomes anchored, unmovable.
[1:12:22] Speaker 2: For ye are all children of God. How?
[1:12:27] Speaker 1: Faith in the similitude of Abraham. Are you seeing that now?
[1:12:31] Speaker 2: You became children of adoption by faith. In Christ Jesus, 27.
[1:12:38] Speaker 2: For as many of you who have been baptized into
[1:12:41] Speaker 2: Christ have put on Christ, there is neither Jew nor
[1:12:47] Speaker 2: nor Greek. There is neither bond nor free. There is
[1:12:51] Speaker 2: neither male nor female. For ye are all one in
[1:12:55] Speaker 2: Christ Jesus. Shout verse 29 if you are a believer.
[1:12:59] Speaker 1: One, two, go.
[1:13:00] Speaker 2: And if ye be Christ, then are ye Abraham's seed.
[1:13:12] Speaker 1: I will explain to you what that means.
[1:13:15] Speaker 2: That you had no business even studying everything God told Abraham.
[1:13:21] Speaker 2: Because it was between him and his seed. Unfortunately the
[1:13:25] Speaker 2: seed was not Isaac. It was his strategy. If the
[1:13:29] Speaker 2: seed was Isaac, God meant Isaac was one child who came.
[1:13:34] Speaker 2: So Abraham thought God meant him and Isaac. But Paul
[1:13:38] Speaker 2: came by the spirit and said no. I have investigated
[1:13:42] Speaker 2: this spiritually. The seed was not Isaac. It was Jesus.
[1:13:46] Speaker 2: Because Isaac does not have the capacity to bring everyone
[1:13:50] Speaker 2: into that blessing. But through Christ. So that the one
[1:13:54] Speaker 2: who is a Jew. Connected by natural descent. And the
[1:13:58] Speaker 2: one who is alienated. And the proof that we all
[1:14:02] Speaker 2: came to Christ was in.
[1:14:04] Speaker 1: Acts chapter 10.
[1:14:05] Speaker 2: Because that was when the salvation of the Gentiles would start.
[1:14:08] Speaker 2: Until then, even the Gentiles did not believe. Remember, Paul
[1:14:13] Speaker 2: was angry. I mean Peter now. Peter is having his
[1:14:17] Speaker 2: siesta and all of a sudden. A trance comes before him.
[1:14:21] Speaker 2: And he sees all kinds of unclean animals. And he's
[1:14:23] Speaker 2: told to kill.
[1:14:24] Speaker 1: And he says, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm
[1:14:25] Speaker 1: a Jew.
[1:14:26] Speaker 2: We don't do all these kinds of things. They never
[1:14:28] Speaker 2: call clean, unclean. What I have called clean. What's the
[1:14:33] Speaker 2: meaning of this? There's someone waiting for you. Go down
[1:14:36] Speaker 2: and meet them. You will go to the house of Cornelius.
[1:14:41] Speaker 1: Are we together now? And when he went there, he
[1:14:44] Speaker 1: now said, wow. While Peter yet speak these things, the
[1:14:47] Speaker 1: Bible says, the blessing. Like it came. I hope you
[1:14:50] Speaker 1: know that.
[1:14:51] Speaker 2: Everyone who received the Holy Ghost in Acts chapter 2
[1:14:53] Speaker 2: was a Jew. There was no Gentile there. Now the
[1:14:57] Speaker 2: same Holy Ghost. Exactly like it happened. And Peter said
[1:15:00] Speaker 2: what happened to us Jews has now happened to the Gentiles.
[1:15:04] Speaker 2: Even without circumcision. He said truly God is no respecter
[1:15:07] Speaker 2: of persons. This was his verdict. What he does to
[1:15:15] Speaker 2: the British he does to the Africans. Don't worry we
[1:15:18] Speaker 2: are coming there. You will now see that Christ has
[1:15:22] Speaker 2: become the equalizer of all things. I can be disadvantaged
[1:15:27] Speaker 2: by my natural descent. I can be disadvantaged by my background.
[1:15:31] Speaker 2: But when I come into Christ my goodness. The spirit
[1:15:35] Speaker 2: of God in my life has become the advantage. The
[1:15:40] Speaker 2: redefiner of my destiny. The redefiner of my possibilities. You
[1:15:46] Speaker 2: believe that shout amen. Apostle, I came from a family
[1:15:53] Speaker 2: of idol worship. You are right until you bring Christ
[1:15:57] Speaker 2: into the equation. Apostle I know that by my background.
[1:16:03] Speaker 2: We have a track record of diabetes. We have a
[1:16:06] Speaker 2: track record of failure.
[1:16:08] Speaker 1: You are right. But once the blessing of Abraham. Once
[1:16:11] Speaker 1: you hear the gospel.
[1:16:13] Speaker 2: Preach that Jesus loves you.
[1:16:16] Speaker 1: Listen.
[1:16:17] Speaker 2: When we go around preaching the gospel. It's beyond just
[1:16:20] Speaker 2: Christian fanaticism. We are bringing people into the blessing. The
[1:16:26] Speaker 2: only way to come into the blessing. Is to follow
[1:16:30] Speaker 2: the pattern of Abraham.
[1:16:33] Speaker 1: You hear that report. Then you believe. You don't deserve it.
[1:16:38] Speaker 1: But you believe.
[1:16:39] Speaker 2: And like faithful Abraham. It is credited immediately. It's a
[1:16:44] Speaker 2: spiritual fact. Your body may not show it. Your mind
[1:16:48] Speaker 2: may not yet show it.
[1:16:49] Speaker 1: But it's a reality. And immediately the Holy Ghost is
[1:16:53] Speaker 1: ready to indwell you. Now.
[1:16:58] Speaker 2: Hopefully we'll find a place to pray today. Don't miss
[1:17:02] Speaker 2: the remaining part. I will show you how to release
[1:17:04] Speaker 2: the blessing. And you will see that having the blessing
[1:17:08] Speaker 2: is like having a brand new phone. But releasing the blessing,
[1:17:12] Speaker 2: you can have a brand new phone and keep it
[1:17:14] Speaker 2: there forever.
[1:17:16] Speaker 1: Are we together? Yes. You see. What defines our possibilities
[1:17:27] Speaker 1: in life? Many times. It's not the love of God.
[1:17:31] Speaker 1: Because he loves everyone equally.
[1:17:33] Speaker 2: But our possibilities are defined by the extent and the
[1:17:37] Speaker 2: depth of our spiritual understanding. What you understand is what
[1:17:42] Speaker 2: can rewrite your possibilities.
[1:17:44] Speaker 1: So you can find two believers saved.
[1:17:47] Speaker 2: But one is taking advantage of these resources that reside
[1:17:51] Speaker 2: in heavenly places in Christ. And with those resources, he's
[1:17:56] Speaker 2: commanding such dominion. And to the other one, you're wondering, God,
[1:18:00] Speaker 2: why does it look like you're helping one fellow, you're
[1:18:03] Speaker 2: helping one brother, you're helping one sister, you're uniquely anointing
[1:18:07] Speaker 2: this man of God, and I'm here. No, it is
[1:18:10] Speaker 2: not the love of Jesus. It is the depth of
[1:18:15] Speaker 2: your understanding. I submit to you without sounding arrogant. There
[1:18:19] Speaker 2: are certain things that cannot happen to me. My frame
[1:18:23] Speaker 2: of understanding has risen beyond. If Satan will attack me,
[1:18:27] Speaker 2: he will use another strategy. Not certain things.
[1:18:29] Speaker 1: No.
[1:18:30] Speaker 2: The revelation is a defense. It's going to be a
[1:18:33] Speaker 2: waste of his time to come through certain things.
[1:18:36] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:18:37] Speaker 2: There are scriptures that have been implanted. They shoot like arrows.
[1:18:42] Speaker 2: You see me minister deliverance to people and do all
[1:18:45] Speaker 2: of these things. The reason is because a man of
[1:18:48] Speaker 2: God is like a midwife. You are helping people through
[1:18:51] Speaker 2: the passage. Until they get to that state of perfection.
[1:18:54] Speaker 2: The state of perfection is not to be praying deliverance.
[1:18:57] Speaker 1: No, no, no.
[1:18:58] Speaker 2: There is a state of victory. Where the reality of
[1:19:01] Speaker 2: your victory in Christ is seated.
[1:19:03] Speaker 1: Established.
[1:19:03] Speaker 2: But on your way there. We will continue to help
[1:19:06] Speaker 2: you while we teach you. Are we together now? It's
[1:19:11] Speaker 2: like someone having a dream now and say, Apostle, I
[1:19:14] Speaker 2: saw a curse on your life or whatever it is. Honestly,
[1:19:16] Speaker 2: I'm not even going to pray about it. The reason is,
[1:19:19] Speaker 2: it's not pride. It's that there's no possibility for imagining
[1:19:23] Speaker 2: that again. I have built a garrison of revelation. Now
[1:19:26] Speaker 2: it takes a while.
[1:19:28] Speaker 1: It takes a while.
[1:19:31] Speaker 2: It's like calling me a baby like an infant and
[1:19:34] Speaker 2: then I feel offended.
[1:19:36] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: My stature has convinced. There's no way of my mind
[1:19:40] Speaker 2: thinking of myself as a baby looking for breast milk again.
[1:19:43] Speaker 2: That's what God is doing to you. Some of you,
[1:19:47] Speaker 2: by what you are hearing, you will check and find
[1:19:49] Speaker 2: out that certain diseases.
[1:19:51] Speaker 1: I hope you know.
[1:19:52] Speaker 2: That Satan fashions attack based on our gaps in knowledge.
[1:19:57] Speaker 2: He does not just attack you. He studies your frame
[1:20:00] Speaker 2: of revelation. What do you not know? That defines the
[1:20:04] Speaker 2: way he attacks you. When Jesus was hungry. How did
[1:20:08] Speaker 2: he attack him? With the matters of food. So Satan
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: does not just come and attack you. No. He profiles
[1:20:15] Speaker 2: your spiritual understanding. Because understanding is light in the spirit.
[1:20:19] Speaker 1: It's not hidden.
[1:20:21] Speaker 2: To the degree to which you have understanding. We can
[1:20:23] Speaker 2: know in the spirit. When we look at you spiritually.
[1:20:30] Speaker 2: Satan has regard many believers to think. That the way
[1:20:35] Speaker 2: to walk in the blessing is just to believe that
[1:20:39] Speaker 2: a car will come, favor will come. And there's nothing
[1:20:41] Speaker 2: wrong with that. Except that you see, we have... A
[1:20:46] Speaker 2: more superior expression of the blessing. They never had the
[1:20:51] Speaker 2: indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But they had speakings. And
[1:20:55] Speaker 2: he backed that speakings.
[1:20:56] Speaker 1: But for us now.
[1:20:58] Speaker 2: Beyond just a word. The pronouncement still stands. But it
[1:21:02] Speaker 2: is more superior because the Holy Spirit. He indwells every
[1:21:08] Speaker 2: single believer. So that if you never have a chance
[1:21:11] Speaker 2: in your life for someone to make a pronouncement on
[1:21:14] Speaker 2: your life.
[1:21:15] Speaker 1: If you are saved and you have the Holy Ghost.
[1:21:18] Speaker 2: Now, the Holy Ghost came to cure the reason why
[1:21:22] Speaker 2: Esau cried. Esau cried because the pronouncement was limited. It
[1:21:27] Speaker 2: had left the father.
[1:21:29] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:21:30] Speaker 2: Now we don't have to cry. You can't say I
[1:21:32] Speaker 2: got born again at 40. You are not too late. No.
[1:21:35] Speaker 1: Because he came on 30 people. You are not too late.
[1:21:39] Speaker 2: The issue of Isaac and Jacob was that he could
[1:21:41] Speaker 2: only come on one person. But now in Christ, my brother,
[1:21:45] Speaker 2: my sister, Leicester, UK, Canada, everywhere.
[1:21:50] Speaker 1: Is someone learning?
[1:21:57] Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me. I explain to you
[1:22:01] Speaker 2: as we prepare to pray. One of the reasons for
[1:22:04] Speaker 2: the powerlessness of the body of Christ is that we
[1:22:09] Speaker 2: jump at so many things that we've not taken time
[1:22:13] Speaker 2: to build a strong foundation of understanding.
[1:22:16] Speaker 1: There is no strong doctrinal understanding. So as much as.
[1:22:21] Speaker 2: We rejoice, yes, I'm one with Christ, I'm this, there's
[1:22:24] Speaker 2: no depth of conviction. And so while we gyrate and
[1:22:28] Speaker 2: jump in church, in the realm of the Spirit, there
[1:22:30] Speaker 2: is no power to produce an effect.
[1:22:34] Speaker 1: Help that lady under the anointing. Are we together?
[1:22:38] Speaker 2: You see, when you, revelation is like an electromagnetic, it's
[1:22:44] Speaker 2: like a sphere.
[1:22:45] Speaker 1: When you come into a place, you also bring your
[1:22:48] Speaker 1: possibilities with you. That's how it works. That's how it works.
[1:22:54] Speaker 1: Are we together? Preachers, learn this. When you come in,
[1:22:57] Speaker 1: it's not just a message you are bringing.
[1:22:59] Speaker 2: No. You are bringing your cloud, your atmosphere, your possibilities.
[1:23:03] Speaker 2: There are things that have no business happening to people.
[1:23:06] Speaker 2: But because you have come.
[1:23:07] Speaker 1: The Holy Ghost is riding.
[1:23:09] Speaker 2: Through the vehicle of your knowledge and is blessing other people.
[1:23:13] Speaker 2: I'll show you an example. How many people prayed in
[1:23:17] Speaker 2: the prison and sang? Was it not just two people?
[1:23:20] Speaker 2: But how many people benefited? Paul and Silas alone prayed.
[1:23:28] Speaker 2: It was not everybody who was praying. But at least
[1:23:30] Speaker 2: they did not fight them. But when that Shekinah came.
[1:23:34] Speaker 2: The Bible said all doors. The jailer was about to
[1:23:37] Speaker 2: kill himself. And he said no.
[1:23:38] Speaker 1: We are all safe. We are all safe. We are
[1:23:40] Speaker 1: not in a hurry to go out.
[1:23:42] Speaker 2: We understand that the will of God is connected to
[1:23:44] Speaker 2: this deliverance.
[1:23:45] Speaker 1: Let's go to your house. It's about the salvation. Now
[1:23:51] Speaker 1: let me tell you this ladies and gentlemen. You see
[1:23:55] Speaker 1: the reason why.
[1:23:56] Speaker 2: Pastor Sam, why the healing ministry seems to have diminished?
[1:24:01] Speaker 1: You know why?
[1:24:02] Speaker 2: Because we're more interested in being called healers than being
[1:24:07] Speaker 2: transmuters of his life.
[1:24:10] Speaker 1: Most of the people.
[1:24:12] Speaker 2: And your pastor has done an intelligent dissertation on, you know,
[1:24:19] Speaker 2: the move of God and all of that. It was
[1:24:20] Speaker 2: part of his Ph.D., I am a student of revivals
[1:24:25] Speaker 2: and I've studied the.
[1:24:26] Speaker 1: Move of God for a bit. I know a bit
[1:24:30] Speaker 1: about the move of God. I can tell you the
[1:24:32] Speaker 1: reason why we fail to see the power of God.
[1:24:35] Speaker 2: The reason why the average believer cannot rise to efficiency
[1:24:39] Speaker 2: and stature is because there's been a compromise on the
[1:24:43] Speaker 2: formula for growth.
[1:24:46] Speaker 1: Do you know?
[1:24:47] Speaker 2: That there are certain foundations. If you do not understand.
[1:24:51] Speaker 2: You will never really get anything right again.
[1:24:54] Speaker 1: In the kingdom.
[1:24:55] Speaker 2: It matters who mentors you. It matters what they tell
[1:24:58] Speaker 2: you about God. It matters what they tell you about salvation.
[1:25:03] Speaker 2: This is why we travel around. Not only ministering to
[1:25:05] Speaker 2: God's people. But strengthening men and women of God.
[1:25:08] Speaker 1: To say come.
[1:25:09] Speaker 2: Let's sit on the drawing board. Let's with all humility.
[1:25:13] Speaker 2: Examine these things. The powerlessness of the body of Christ.
[1:25:17] Speaker 2: Is largely the powerlessness. Of the teachings that come. Because
[1:25:22] Speaker 2: people are empowered.
[1:25:23] Speaker 1: By the words. Are we together now? Yes.
[1:25:28] Speaker 2: The words that I speak unto you. They are spiritual.
[1:25:33] Speaker 2: But they can also be weapons of mass destruction. Something
[1:25:37] Speaker 2: you can hear in one sermon. Will make you a
[1:25:39] Speaker 2: powerless believer forever. Something you can hear through one sermon.
[1:25:44] Speaker 2: Will make you become a mighty person.
[1:25:47] Speaker 1: Is someone learning tonight? So you see.
[1:25:50] Speaker 2: If you really understand the blessing. It should not lead
[1:25:54] Speaker 2: you to just jumping and shouting about cars.
[1:25:57] Speaker 1: It should draw you to the Holy Spirit. Truly. He
[1:26:03] Speaker 1: is the blessing. Yes sir. He is. He is.
[1:26:09] Speaker 2: And out of the richness of your fellowship with him.
[1:26:12] Speaker 2: Comes power. Comes wisdom. Comes grace. Comes favor. Now, there
[1:26:19] Speaker 2: are many people who want favor isolated from the Holy Spirit.
[1:26:24] Speaker 2: They want breakthrough isolated from the Holy Spirit. Did you
[1:26:28] Speaker 2: see that if the teaching of the blessing was done correctly,
[1:26:31] Speaker 2: it would produce a generation that is deep in their
[1:26:35] Speaker 2: intimacy with God.
[1:26:37] Speaker 1: Not just people who want things.
[1:26:39] Speaker 2: Because the blessing of Abraham has nothing to do with
[1:26:43] Speaker 2: material expressions.
[1:26:44] Speaker 1: It is a formula.
[1:26:46] Speaker 2: Within that discussion, the conversation between God and Abraham was
[1:26:50] Speaker 2: hidden a mystery.
[1:26:52] Speaker 1: That Paul unraveled. That is not about the stars. It's
[1:26:55] Speaker 1: not about the sun. It's a formula where God justifies
[1:26:59] Speaker 1: the unjust.
[1:27:00] Speaker 2: A formula that leads you to meet the Holy Spirit.
[1:27:05] Speaker 2: As mighty as Jesus was and is, he could not
[1:27:09] Speaker 2: do anything until the Holy Spirit came. And he said,
[1:27:12] Speaker 2: I have many things to tell you, to teach you,
[1:27:14] Speaker 2: but he cannot bear them now.
[1:27:16] Speaker 1: How be it when he, the blessing, the spirit of truth.
[1:27:23] Speaker 2: Now you understand him as an empowerment, but he's more
[1:27:26] Speaker 2: than a pronouncement. In the Old Testament, they did not
[1:27:31] Speaker 2: have the possibility of the Holy Spirit indwelling them.
[1:27:33] Speaker 1: He would come and leave. So the psalmist would say,
[1:27:36] Speaker 1: cast me not away.
[1:27:36] Speaker 2: From your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
[1:27:41] Speaker 2: Because he came to rest upon them, perform a task
[1:27:44] Speaker 2: and leave.
[1:27:45] Speaker 1: But now to the believer, we have become his habitation.
[1:27:51] Speaker 2: Now, he comes to rest but utilizing his ministry is
[1:27:55] Speaker 2: a separate.
[1:27:56] Speaker 1: Dynamics that you'll be learning in the course of this sermon.
[1:27:59] Speaker 2: So when you say I am blessed. If you mean
[1:28:02] Speaker 2: I have some money in my account. No. No.
[1:28:05] Speaker 1: You didn't get that right. If you say I am blessed.
[1:28:08] Speaker 1: Meaning I have some academic papers before me. Well that's fair.
[1:28:13] Speaker 1: But that's not really it.
[1:28:14] Speaker 2: The correct protocol is the depth of your relationship with
[1:28:19] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. Then it now translates. No matter how
[1:28:24] Speaker 2: rich you are. If you do not have the blessing
[1:28:28] Speaker 2: of Abraham. Justification by faith.
[1:28:31] Speaker 1: You are not blessed. You see that we misuse that word.
[1:28:35] Speaker 2: Blessed means wealth. Blessed means all of that. But in
[1:28:39] Speaker 2: Bible language, when we say a man is blessed, here's
[1:28:42] Speaker 2: what we mean. The man is saved by hearing the gospel.
[1:28:47] Speaker 2: And applying the faith. Like Abraham did.
[1:28:50] Speaker 1: Are we together? Now justified in Christ. Number two.
[1:28:53] Speaker 2: That man has received the person. And the ministry of
[1:28:57] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. And in partnership with the Holy Spirit.
[1:29:00] Speaker 2: He is now accessing the resources. That have been kept
[1:29:03] Speaker 2: for us in heavenly places. The resources of faith. The
[1:29:07] Speaker 2: resources of wisdom. The resources of the word. The resources
[1:29:10] Speaker 2: of power. And with these resources you begin to play
[1:29:14] Speaker 2: life like a chess. You manifest a level of dominion
[1:29:18] Speaker 2: and power.
[1:29:22] Speaker 1: And power. And power. He blessed them by saying.
[1:29:28] Speaker 2: But this second Adam and the seed that have come
[1:29:31] Speaker 2: from him. He did not bless us by saying. He
[1:29:35] Speaker 2: blessed us by giving.
[1:29:37] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:29:38] Speaker 2: He made a pronouncement on the first Adam. But to
[1:29:41] Speaker 2: the second Adam he went beyond speaking.
[1:29:44] Speaker 1: He gave. He gave. Every time you mention the word blessing.
[1:29:50] Speaker 1: See the cross. Every time you mention the word blessing.
[1:29:54] Speaker 1: See the spirit of God.
[1:29:56] Speaker 2: Every time you mention the word blessing, see that you
[1:29:59] Speaker 2: have legitimate access to wisdom, to favor, to defense, to power.
[1:30:06] Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Now, does that mean pronouncements don't work? No, no, no, no, no.
[1:30:11] Speaker 2: We will talk about the activation of the blessing because
[1:30:15] Speaker 2: it was while Peter speak. Don't forget that speaking does
[1:30:20] Speaker 2: not end. But while he speaks, it is more than
[1:30:25] Speaker 2: just oil that comes.
[1:30:26] Speaker 1: It's the Holy Spirit.
[1:30:29] Speaker 2: God has given me an assignment through the theme of
[1:30:32] Speaker 2: your conference to help you truly understand the blessing. For
[1:30:35] Speaker 2: some of you, you are both happy and disappointed because
[1:30:38] Speaker 2: you see, the idea you came with about the blessing
[1:30:42] Speaker 2: is just to speak upon you that cars should come
[1:30:44] Speaker 2: and houses and you will get all that.
[1:30:46] Speaker 1: Let me tell you, more than it, you will get
[1:30:49] Speaker 1: what brings it. Hallelujah.
[1:30:55] Speaker 2: What you are receiving tonight. Listen to me ladies and gentlemen.
[1:30:58] Speaker 2: That's what the Bible calls two riches. I call it
[1:31:02] Speaker 2: the capital that buys money. Because money itself is a product.
[1:31:07] Speaker 2: And there is something that buys it. Believers must be
[1:31:14] Speaker 2: grounded pastor. Thank you for this conference. Believers must be mature.
[1:31:18] Speaker 2: Look at me believers who are about to pray.
[1:31:20] Speaker 1: Hear me.
[1:31:22] Speaker 2: One of the things I hope you learn in this
[1:31:24] Speaker 2: conference is to go back to the root of your
[1:31:26] Speaker 2: spiritual understanding and begin to investigate the things that you
[1:31:31] Speaker 2: have built your faith upon.
[1:31:32] Speaker 1: Do not be ashamed to start again.
[1:31:35] Speaker 2: There are many people, I tell you sincerely, they are
[1:31:38] Speaker 2: building on shadows. Now I don't mean to speak against
[1:31:42] Speaker 2: pastors and all of that. I'm all for the body
[1:31:44] Speaker 2: of Christ. But perhaps you were saved and you never
[1:31:47] Speaker 2: had the opportunity to be under a system of structured
[1:31:50] Speaker 2: spiritual guidance.
[1:31:52] Speaker 1: To learn doctrine methodically. Line upon line.
[1:31:55] Speaker 2: You will be surprised how many pastors do not understand
[1:31:58] Speaker 2: the rudiments of salvation. How then do you talk of
[1:32:00] Speaker 2: the business of power? And then to be trusted with
[1:32:04] Speaker 2: God's program across the nations?
[1:32:06] Speaker 1: No.
[1:32:07] Speaker 2: It takes more than the awareness of his love for you.
[1:32:10] Speaker 2: There are things you must know. I write these things.
[1:32:12] Speaker 1: To you that ye may know. You may know. Hallelujah.
[1:32:19] Speaker 2: So let me summarize it this way. Outside of the
[1:32:24] Speaker 2: blessing of Abraham. That leads you to the blessing. There
[1:32:29] Speaker 2: is no possibility to truly be blessed. The only one
[1:32:34] Speaker 2: who can say I am blessed. Is the one who
[1:32:38] Speaker 2: has partaken of the blessing of Abraham. And through that
[1:32:43] Speaker 2: has received freely of the blessing.
[1:32:47] Speaker 1: To such a one you can say I am blessed.
[1:32:51] Speaker 1: Are you seeing that now?
[1:32:54] Speaker 2: So the one who is blessed is not just the
[1:32:57] Speaker 2: one who is rich without Christ. Not the one who
[1:33:00] Speaker 2: is prosperous without Christ. Absolutely you can get all these
[1:33:03] Speaker 2: things without Christ. But you see in describing for you
[1:33:07] Speaker 2: the expressions of the blessing. Hopefully tomorrow. You will see
[1:33:10] Speaker 2: the things money cannot buy. He says peace I give you.
[1:33:15] Speaker 1: My peace. Not as the world gives.
[1:33:18] Speaker 2: And then you will bear witness to me by tomorrow.
[1:33:20] Speaker 2: How many wealthy people you know who cannot sleep. Because
[1:33:24] Speaker 2: there is a dimension of peace and joy that is
[1:33:26] Speaker 2: of the Holy Ghost. The ability to laugh through storms.
[1:33:29] Speaker 2: These are things money cannot buy. How about the fruit
[1:33:32] Speaker 2: of the? I thought you would get it right.
[1:33:37] Speaker 1: The fruit of the? These are things you cannot buy.
[1:33:43] Speaker 1: The fruit. The life of Christ. That character.
[1:33:47] Speaker 2: Apostle, I came from an angry family. Anger is where
[1:33:51] Speaker 2: I like that. Once I'm angry, I give it to you.
[1:33:54] Speaker 1: No.
[1:33:55] Speaker 2: When you encounter the blessings.
[1:33:58] Speaker 1: He begins to culture.
[1:34:00] Speaker 2: You see, the blessing, the Holy Spirit comes upon you
[1:34:04] Speaker 2: and is likened to olive.
[1:34:06] Speaker 1: He releases something.
[1:34:08] Speaker 2: There's oil that is released. It's called the anointing within.
[1:34:12] Speaker 2: It begins to do a work in you. Ladies and gentlemen.
[1:34:16] Speaker 1: To produce that Christ like character. And then. Because of
[1:34:20] Speaker 1: the presence of the blessing. The Holy Spirit.
[1:34:23] Speaker 2: Capacity is given to you. To both know the will
[1:34:26] Speaker 2: of God. And understand the modus operandi of the kingdom.
[1:34:30] Speaker 2: Now you can begin to engage the kingdom. With intelligence.
[1:34:33] Speaker 2: In a way that produces dominion. Victory and profit. To
[1:34:37] Speaker 2: your Christian experience. Then you begin to bear fruits. 30 fold.
[1:34:42] Speaker 2: Fruits 60 fold. And fruits 100. Listen, it is at
[1:34:47] Speaker 2: that level you will lay up wealth, gold like dust.
[1:34:52] Speaker 2: Most people think God does not prosper, God does not lift,
[1:34:57] Speaker 2: God does not favor.
[1:34:59] Speaker 1: You are joking. You don't know the God of the Bible.
[1:35:02] Speaker 1: Are we together? Yeah.
[1:35:05] Speaker 2: But what he needs is your heart and your understanding.
[1:35:08] Speaker 2: And then you will see levels of favor that you
[1:35:10] Speaker 2: never imagined. Believe me on this, ladies and gentlemen. Now,
[1:35:15] Speaker 2: Let me wrap up. In business, for those of you
[1:35:19] Speaker 2: who are business oriented, there's a law in business.
[1:35:22] Speaker 1: We call it different names. We call it the law
[1:35:24] Speaker 1: of attraction. And it's also a law.
[1:35:28] Speaker 2: That has been received in physics, chemistry, you know, Newton's
[1:35:35] Speaker 2: law of gravitation.
[1:35:38] Speaker 1: Remember, this is a campus. Praise the Lord.
[1:35:44] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[1:35:45] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[1:35:46] Speaker 2: I'm wrapping up with this. I want to tell you
[1:35:48] Speaker 2: something that is very powerful. And I'll just leave it
[1:35:50] Speaker 2: on that note and then we'll take it tomorrow. People
[1:35:53] Speaker 2: call it, others call it.
[1:35:55] Speaker 1: All kinds of things. They call human beings.
[1:35:58] Speaker 2: So the law of attraction purports that men exhibit magnetic properties.
[1:36:03] Speaker 2: And they say that in relation to wealth and opportunities.
[1:36:06] Speaker 2: And they credit it to the cosmic forces. They credit
[1:36:10] Speaker 2: it to mother nature. The concept is not wrong. It
[1:36:13] Speaker 2: is who or what they credit it to that is wrong.
[1:36:17] Speaker 2: It is not the universe.
[1:36:18] Speaker 1: No. There is a God. All blessings come from God.
[1:36:22] Speaker 1: Are we together? But here's the part of it. Allow
[1:36:26] Speaker 1: me for a moment to borrow and draw from the
[1:36:31] Speaker 1: wells of science as I wrap up.
[1:36:33] Speaker 2: Sir Isaac Newton in studying the cosmos and in studying
[1:36:39] Speaker 2: bodies among the many postulations that he came up with
[1:36:43] Speaker 2: Was one that we know for those who are science based.
[1:36:46] Speaker 2: As the universal law of gravitation. And here's what he said.
[1:36:51] Speaker 2: That every body in the universe. Attracts every other body.
[1:36:58] Speaker 1: Right? Which a force which for any two bodies.
[1:37:02] Speaker 2: He says is directly proportional to the product of their masses.
[1:37:06] Speaker 2: And inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
[1:37:10] Speaker 1: Let me summarize that.
[1:37:11] Speaker 2: It means that everything you are looking for is also
[1:37:15] Speaker 2: looking for you.
[1:37:17] Speaker 1: Hold on. But there is something it is looking for
[1:37:23] Speaker 1: in you.
[1:37:24] Speaker 2: An instruction has been given creation that the things you
[1:37:28] Speaker 2: look for should only follow you when they find out
[1:37:31] Speaker 2: that certain things are intact. I pray that you find
[1:37:35] Speaker 2: a way of believing this. The Jews understand this. This
[1:37:40] Speaker 2: is what makes certain people exhibit magnetic properties. So a
[1:37:45] Speaker 2: person can come into a land like Leicester... And find
[1:37:49] Speaker 2: out that just when they arrived... A helper also arrived.
[1:37:53] Speaker 2: It looks like it's coincidence. No, it's a law in
[1:37:55] Speaker 2: the spirit. I'm showing you the implication of the blessing.
[1:38:00] Speaker 2: In physics again, please forgive me. That's what we call
[1:38:03] Speaker 2: the law of resonance.
[1:38:04] Speaker 1: Are we together?
[1:38:05] Speaker 2: That when you hit a tuning fork at a certain frequency...
[1:38:09] Speaker 2: Every other body within its vicinity that is at that
[1:38:12] Speaker 2: frequency will vibrate without being touched.
[1:38:15] Speaker 1: This is how it is. As you rise in the
[1:38:18] Speaker 1: spirit knowing God, there is literally an energy that comes
[1:38:22] Speaker 1: from you.
[1:38:23] Speaker 2: And it begins to resonate with the possibilities that are
[1:38:27] Speaker 2: connected to your destiny.
[1:38:29] Speaker 1: I recognize.
[1:38:30] Speaker 2: Want you to believe this. It's why a man of
[1:38:33] Speaker 2: God can step into a land. All of a sudden,
[1:38:36] Speaker 2: a keyboardist comes. A guitarist comes. A media person comes.
[1:38:40] Speaker 2: And you are thinking, how did he get them? You
[1:38:42] Speaker 2: don't get them.
[1:38:43] Speaker 1: They are attracted by the health of your relationship.
[1:38:50] Speaker 2: And listen, the deeper you are with the Holy Ghost,
[1:38:53] Speaker 2: the more you exhibit.
[1:38:55] Speaker 1: Those magnetic properties.
[1:38:57] Speaker 2: Have you seen how, go to the port, the seaport,
[1:39:00] Speaker 2: you have a number of them here. Have you seen
[1:39:02] Speaker 2: magnet lift cars? Very heavy cars. Very heavy, you know,
[1:39:08] Speaker 2: maybe buses, whatever it is. And you are wondering, I
[1:39:12] Speaker 2: mean it just camps itself on it and picks it
[1:39:14] Speaker 2: up like a fly.
[1:39:16] Speaker 1: And moves it somewhere else, pick containers. That's how you
[1:39:19] Speaker 1: can be.
[1:39:20] Speaker 2: You can grow your relationship with the Holy Ghost. To
[1:39:24] Speaker 2: a point where you exhibit such strong magnetic influences. Not
[1:39:29] Speaker 2: just to heal, not just to prosper. When you step
[1:39:31] Speaker 2: into a territory... Is like a sound. Deep calls on
[1:39:35] Speaker 2: to deep. Everybody and everything. That must partner with your destiny.
[1:39:40] Speaker 2: Starts to gravitate towards you.
[1:39:45] Speaker 1: It is true.
[1:39:50] Speaker 2: So the next time you ask. How shall these things be?
[1:39:53] Speaker 2: Seeing that I know not a man. The answer is
[1:39:56] Speaker 2: still what Gabriel. Told Mary the Holy Ghost. It will
[1:40:00] Speaker 2: always be him. You can't take him away. And we're
[1:40:04] Speaker 2: not just talking of falling down and standing up. No,
[1:40:08] Speaker 2: we have so underutilized his ministry. Especially Pentecostals and Charismatics.
[1:40:15] Speaker 2: We've reduced him to some kind of Pentecostal gibberish. We've
[1:40:19] Speaker 2: not tapped into the wisdom. The health of that relationship.
[1:40:23] Speaker 2: You can prove that you are blessed. By the dominion
[1:40:26] Speaker 2: that your life commands. You can prove that you have
[1:40:29] Speaker 2: met Christ. You can prove the health of your relationship.
[1:40:41] Speaker 1: I receive. I manifest.
[1:40:46] Speaker 3: Your power and your wisdom.
[1:40:51] Speaker 5: Till the nations see Jesus lifted up. Exalted I receive.
[1:41:04] Speaker 1: I manifest.
[1:41:07] Speaker 5: Your power and your wisdom. Till the nations see Jesus lifted.
[1:41:20] Speaker 1: Up.
[1:41:24] Speaker 2: Someone say after me, I'm blessed.
[1:41:27] Speaker 1: Now you know what you are saying. Say, I'm blessed.
[1:41:33] Speaker 2: If you mean I'm rich, you are not wrong. If
[1:41:36] Speaker 2: you mean I'm favored, you are not wrong. If you
[1:41:39] Speaker 2: mean I go forward, you are not wrong. To them
[1:43:21] Speaker 2: who are called according to his purposes, say I am blessed.
[1:43:26] Speaker 1: Because I'm like a tree that is planted by the riverside.
[1:43:30] Speaker 2: I don't wither and I bear my fruit in season.
[1:43:35] Speaker 1: Everything I do prospers. Say I'm blessed.
[1:43:38] Speaker 2: Because I may not see the wind, I may not
[1:43:41] Speaker 2: see rain, but by the Holy Ghost my valley shall
[1:43:44] Speaker 2: be filled. Say I'm blessed. Because by that energizing. I
[1:43:53] Speaker 2: can run through a troop. And by my God. I
[1:43:56] Speaker 2: can leap over a wall.
[1:43:57] Speaker 1: Say I'm blessed.
[1:44:00] Speaker 2: Because I'm a channel of blessing. Everyone's hand I shake.
[1:44:04] Speaker 2: I'm a transmuter of life. I can be a curse.
[1:44:07] Speaker 2: I'm not a burden to my world.
[1:44:09] Speaker 1: I'm a blessing. Say I'm blessed. Blessed. This right here.
[1:44:19] Speaker 1: Is a theology. Of the blessing. Thank you Jesus. Thank
[1:44:29] Speaker 1: you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah.
[1:44:39] Speaker 2: So we'll tie it here for now. Let me encourage you.
[1:44:43] Speaker 2: Make whatever sacrifice you can. To be here tomorrow. But
[1:44:47] Speaker 2: just tonight. We just laid a few foundations. So that
[1:44:51] Speaker 2: when we build. You'll be like one of your buildings.
[1:44:55] Speaker 2: The tallest.
[1:44:56] Speaker 1: That from that altitude. You will watch life. And tame
[1:45:01] Speaker 1: it like an animal. I truly believe. That there will
[1:45:06] Speaker 1: be remarkable testimonies. Some of you between tonight and tomorrow.
[1:45:12] Speaker 1: Believe me. And I speak to you by the spirit
[1:45:14] Speaker 1: of God. You see.
[1:45:17] Speaker 2: One of the ways to receive from men. Is to
[1:45:20] Speaker 2: find out whether they are blessed.
[1:45:22] Speaker 1: If they are.
[1:45:23] Speaker 2: Then trust what comes from them. Because the Holy Ghost
[1:45:27] Speaker 2: becomes in us.
[1:45:28] Speaker 1: A river. That flows. And the Bible says it gives life.
[1:45:33] Speaker 1: Ezekiel 47. Revelations. John. Chapter 9. It gives life. Hallelujah.
[1:45:42] Speaker 1: Allow me for one moment.
[1:45:44] Speaker 2: To make an altar call. We spoke about the blessing
[1:45:47] Speaker 2: of Abraham. That's where it starts. If you ignore the
[1:45:52] Speaker 2: blessing of Abraham, it's not about the name. It's about
[1:45:56] Speaker 2: the protocol, the strategy. It was just credited to one man.
[1:46:01] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[1:46:02] Speaker 1: Like, imagine you call this hall Joshua Selman Hall. Whether
[1:46:06] Speaker 1: I'm alive or dead. You just gave me the honor
[1:46:09] Speaker 1: for whatever reason. That's what it means.
[1:46:11] Speaker 2: The blessing of Abraham does not just mean it is
[1:46:15] Speaker 2: Abraham's blessing.
[1:46:16] Speaker 1: His name was tied to it in honor to the
[1:46:19] Speaker 1: fact that he obeyed God. He heard God. Are we together?
[1:46:23] Speaker 2: I'm going to make the altar call in one minute.
[1:46:26] Speaker 2: And please, let's minimize any movement. There will always be
[1:46:30] Speaker 2: an opportunity for someone to make it right. I'm not
[1:46:33] Speaker 2: just calling you to be a Christian. I'm not just
[1:46:36] Speaker 2: calling you to be a fanatic. I'm not calling you
[1:46:38] Speaker 2: tonight to be another religious person. The blessing of Abraham
[1:46:43] Speaker 2: is the key. Now I've explained it. You can begin
[1:46:46] Speaker 2: to come even before I make the call.
[1:46:48] Speaker 1: Hold on. Let me just express what I'm saying.
[1:46:50] Speaker 2: God bless you, sir. If you're coming, please come. You
[1:46:52] Speaker 2: can make your way to the front. Come.
[1:46:55] Speaker 1: Hallelujah. And all others who need to join him, begin
[1:46:59] Speaker 1: to join him before.
[1:47:00] Speaker 2: I make that call. You are receiving tonight the blessing
[1:47:04] Speaker 2: of Abraham. You are following that pathway. That will show
[1:47:08] Speaker 2: me the path of life. It is in your light.
[1:47:10] Speaker 2: God bless you.
[1:47:11] Speaker 1: Come. I see my precious brothers and sisters coming. Are
[1:47:15] Speaker 1: you celebrating them? Come. Thank you. He gives you a
[1:47:21] Speaker 1: new beginning. There's always a new beginning with him. Come. Come. Come. Come.
[1:47:39] Speaker 2: Let's encourage them let's let them know that this promise
[1:47:45] Speaker 2: is unto you and to your children and to your
[1:47:48] Speaker 2: children's children everyone listen let's let them know that they
[1:47:54] Speaker 2: do not have to cry the cry of Esau again
[1:47:56] Speaker 2: no it's in abundance for everyone Esau cried because it
[1:48:02] Speaker 2: was one pronouncement and it went to Jacob.
[1:48:06] Speaker 1: But today we can rejoice.
[1:48:08] Speaker 2: From end to end, from north to south, east and west,
[1:48:11] Speaker 2: everyone can be a partaker.
[1:48:14] Speaker 1: This is powerful.
[1:48:16] Speaker 2: Listen, by the message of God, I've traveled around the world.
[1:48:20] Speaker 2: taking this glorious gospel the wisdom the life of jesus
[1:48:24] Speaker 2: can i tell you something i've learned pastor people are
[1:48:28] Speaker 2: not really rebels is that they do not understand the
[1:48:31] Speaker 2: gospel every time the gospel is presented with intelligence with
[1:48:37] Speaker 2: clarity I can tell you this from everywhere. Jesus will
[1:48:42] Speaker 2: always be received if he's presented properly.
[1:48:48] Speaker 1: The problem is the presentation. To my brothers and my sisters,
[1:48:56] Speaker 1: those of you who have come, I salute you. Thank
[1:48:58] Speaker 1: you for the courage. I'll tell you this.
[1:49:02] Speaker 2: Jesus came to give us beyond a religion. He didn't
[1:49:07] Speaker 2: just come to make us Christians. The word Christian was
[1:49:10] Speaker 2: a testimony from unbelievers. They looked at those who were
[1:49:14] Speaker 2: possessors of the life of God. And they had to
[1:49:16] Speaker 2: look for a name to call them. Nothing wrong in
[1:49:18] Speaker 2: being called a Christian.
[1:49:21] Speaker 1: You see. One of the difference between the faith life.
[1:49:26] Speaker 2: And every other faith practice I know. Is that it
[1:49:30] Speaker 2: goes beyond the realm of rituals. And proposes to you
[1:49:33] Speaker 2: a relationship. A relationship that is personal.
[1:49:38] Speaker 1: Personal.
[1:49:40] Speaker 2: Like we say it back home, when you go to
[1:49:42] Speaker 2: a herbalist or some diviner, you don't need a relationship.
[1:49:45] Speaker 1: You don't need to know his name. Just obey the rules.
[1:49:48] Speaker 2: And if he's to tell you something about your destiny,
[1:49:51] Speaker 2: they turn the ball and do whatever and tell you
[1:49:53] Speaker 2: what they tell you and you leave.
[1:49:55] Speaker 1: But when you come to Jesus, he does not give
[1:49:59] Speaker 1: you things. He gives you himself. Himself is the gift
[1:50:03] Speaker 1: he gives you. His life.
[1:50:06] Speaker 2: Then he gives you access to his spirit. To my
[1:50:09] Speaker 2: brothers and sisters who are here. It doesn't matter what
[1:50:12] Speaker 2: you have done. Or what you have not done. I
[1:50:14] Speaker 2: still sense that there are a few people. Who perhaps
[1:50:17] Speaker 2: are still contemplating joining them. Don't be ashamed. I will
[1:50:21] Speaker 2: always say this. It's like calling you to receive an award.
[1:50:24] Speaker 2: Only that this is the noblest you can ever find.
[1:50:27] Speaker 2: In this side of God's kingdom. Perhaps you are seated.
[1:50:30] Speaker 2: And you are still dilly dallying.
[1:50:33] Speaker 1: You are saying apostle.
[1:50:34] Speaker 2: I came out the other time, but as it stands,
[1:50:37] Speaker 2: I cannot say that my life is working consistent with
[1:50:41] Speaker 2: God's desire. You are at liberty to join them before
[1:50:43] Speaker 2: I pray that prayer. This is a family, nothing to be.
[1:50:46] Speaker 1: Ashamed of whatsoever. My Bible says, for God so loved you.
[1:50:52] Speaker 1: He loved me. God bless you, sir. And he gave
[1:50:55] Speaker 1: his son. You know why he gave his son? Because
[1:50:59] Speaker 1: there was a verdict that all men had seen. Every
[1:51:02] Speaker 1: one of us.
[1:51:03] Speaker 2: That we've fallen short of that standard. But that he
[1:51:06] Speaker 2: gave his son as a demonstration of love.
[1:51:10] Speaker 1: And here's the point. Whoever believes in him. Believes what?
[1:51:15] Speaker 1: Believes number one that he loves you. Number two. Believes
[1:51:19] Speaker 1: that he has your interest at heart.
[1:51:21] Speaker 2: And that he's demonstrated that by giving Jesus. And that
[1:51:25] Speaker 2: if you believe that report at that instant, like it
[1:51:28] Speaker 2: will be happening to you shortly, you may not feel it,
[1:51:31] Speaker 2: but this is an eternal fact that whosoever believes.
[1:51:35] Speaker 1: In him should not perish, but have life everlasting.
[1:51:40] Speaker 2: I describe for you in one minute what will happen
[1:51:42] Speaker 2: to you as you make this declaration. Eternal life, the
[1:51:45] Speaker 2: very life of God, not the God kind of life,
[1:51:48] Speaker 2: the very life. It's supplanted in your human spirit. And
[1:51:53] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit now has access to dwell within you.
[1:51:57] Speaker 2: He begins to culture you. He begins to lead you.
[1:52:01] Speaker 2: He guides me through the path of righteousness for his
[1:52:04] Speaker 2: name's sake. One more time, I want to say thank
[1:52:06] Speaker 2: you for the courage. I don't know you, but I
[1:52:09] Speaker 2: love every single one of you. It always pays to
[1:52:13] Speaker 2: start with Jesus and for some to start afresh. Let
[1:52:16] Speaker 2: me request that you lift your right hand as a
[1:52:19] Speaker 2: sign of surrender. to this Jesus you imagine just take
[1:52:24] Speaker 2: me out of the sin and just imagine the lover
[1:52:27] Speaker 2: of your soul the one who died for you when
[1:52:29] Speaker 2: he hung upon that cross it was not the nails
[1:52:32] Speaker 2: that held him he saw you you were worth the
[1:52:34] Speaker 2: death even if you were the only person on earth
[1:52:37] Speaker 2: he would still die what love you have trusted things
[1:52:41] Speaker 2: of lesser value with your life your time give him
[1:52:44] Speaker 2: a chance and let him turn you to a sign
[1:52:46] Speaker 2: and a wonder say this after me as loud and
[1:52:49] Speaker 2: as clear as you can And let me speak to
[1:52:51] Speaker 2: someone who is connected online or by television. Here in Leicester,
[1:52:56] Speaker 2: Jesus is winning, saving, leading, drawing many to himself. I'd
[1:53:00] Speaker 2: like you to join these, our precious ones, and say
[1:53:03] Speaker 2: this after me.
[1:53:04] Speaker 1: Say, Lord Jesus.
[1:53:06] Speaker 2: Tonight, I have heard your word. I've heard that you
[1:53:11] Speaker 2: love me. I've heard that you died for me. And
[1:53:16] Speaker 2: I believe that report.
[1:53:18] Speaker 1: I believe. You are the son of God. I believe.
[1:53:24] Speaker 1: You died for my sin. I believe. You rose again.
[1:53:29] Speaker 1: For my justification. Right now. I receive Jesus. Into my heart.
[1:53:37] Speaker 1: As my savior. My lord.
[1:53:41] Speaker 2: As the holy ghost. We just thought about him. Remember
[1:53:45] Speaker 2: I told you. The justification by faith. gives room to
[1:53:50] Speaker 2: the blessing. He's just giving witness to it. Let it
[1:53:54] Speaker 2: not distract you. Say from tonight, I'm a child of God,
[1:54:00] Speaker 2: washed by the blood.
[1:54:01] Speaker 1: Of the Lamb. I live for Jesus all the days
[1:54:05] Speaker 1: of my life. Amen.
[1:54:08] Speaker 2: With your hands lifted, I pray for you. Father, thank
[1:54:11] Speaker 2: you for these precious ones. The Bible declares that as
[1:54:14] Speaker 2: many who will come to you, you will in no
[1:54:17] Speaker 2: wise cast away. These ones have come declaring your lordship
[1:54:20] Speaker 2: over their lives. Therefore, I declare at this instant that
[1:54:25] Speaker 2: the power of sin, Satan, hell, the grave, addictions, every
[1:54:30] Speaker 2: kind of thing whatsoever that does not represent the Christ,
[1:54:34] Speaker 2: let it give way right now. In the name of
[1:54:37] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, I call you bona fide recipients of the
[1:54:40] Speaker 2: life of God. And I decree and declare that the
[1:54:43] Speaker 2: joy of salvation is yours from hence. You will live
[1:54:46] Speaker 2: for Jesus all the days of your life. In Jesus'
[1:54:50] Speaker 2: matchless name we pray.
[1:54:53] Speaker 1: Now praise the name of the Lord.
[1:54:55] Speaker 2: Here's a favor I want you to do for me.
[1:54:57] Speaker 2: There are counselors who have been trained to have a
[1:55:00] Speaker 2: word with you. They'll pray with you just for a
[1:55:03] Speaker 2: minute or two. Thereafter you'll be back to your seats.
[1:55:06] Speaker 2: Please do cooperate with them. Let me request that you
[1:55:08] Speaker 2: move to my right.
[1:55:09] Speaker 1: And then... You just follow them.
