[0:34] Speaker 1: victory over the spirit of fear. Victory over the spirit
[0:42] Speaker 1: of fear. Fear is a phenomenon that as human beings
[0:53] Speaker 1: we have been psychologically speaking We have been taught to
[0:57] Speaker 1: be used to it. We have given it a lot
[1:00] Speaker 1: of intelligent explanations. We have incorporated it as part of
[1:04] Speaker 1: our lives.
[1:06] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[1:07] Speaker 1: Different teachings have come, especially in the area of dealing
[1:12] Speaker 1: with fear. Medical people will tell you that fear has
[1:17] Speaker 1: a great.
[1:18] Speaker 2: Impact on the health and the well-being of an individual.
[1:22] Speaker 1: That an individual can literally die as a result of fear.
[1:26] Speaker 1: Not gunshot, not some act of terrorism and whatever it is, fear.
[1:33] Speaker 2: And When you want to walk by faith, please listen.
[1:36] Speaker 1: I'm not saying faith just to receive a miracle. The
[1:39] Speaker 1: Bible says the just shall live by faith.
[1:43] Speaker 2: Say it after me.
[1:44] Speaker 1: The just shall live by faith. That means your exploits
[1:50] Speaker 1: and my exploits in the kingdom will be predicated upon
[1:55] Speaker 1: my ability to not only engage faith momentarily to receive
[2:00] Speaker 1: a result.
[2:00] Speaker 2: But that it becomes my lifestyle. Are we together? To
[2:04] Speaker 2: walk in faith means to walk in understanding. To walk
[2:07] Speaker 2: in faith means to walk in obedience. To walk in
[2:10] Speaker 2: faith means to walk in courage.
[2:12] Speaker 1: All of the aspects that together cause a man to
[2:16] Speaker 1: produce results. The end of faith is a performance. There
[2:21] Speaker 1: may be a period between prophecy. You're engaging the principles
[2:26] Speaker 1: and the manifestation.
[2:28] Speaker 2: But there should be a performance. Hallelujah. And I have.
[2:34] Speaker 1: Noticed that one of the obstacles, we don't deal with
[2:38] Speaker 1: it because we don't care, that destroy a lot of
[2:42] Speaker 1: people is.
[2:43] Speaker 2: The spirit of fear.
[2:45] Speaker 1: 2 Timothy chapter 1 and verse 7. Paul is teaching
[2:52] Speaker 1: his son Timothy in the gospel. And this is what
[2:55] Speaker 1: he says. For God hath not given us, stop there.
[3:00] Speaker 1: for god had not given us the bible is very
[3:05] Speaker 1: open about the things god gave us i just read
[3:07] Speaker 1: for you the things that he received.
[3:09] Speaker 2: For us when the bible says god did not give you.
[3:11] Speaker 1: Something and it is at work in your life it
[3:14] Speaker 1: means that another personality.
[3:16] Speaker 2: Or agency has communicated that is.
[3:18] Speaker 1: That true the bible says it didn't say for we
[3:21] Speaker 1: don't have he said for god has not given us
[3:24] Speaker 1: meaning it is not in the character of god To
[3:28] Speaker 1: give men an attribute that will frustrate their faith.
[3:31] Speaker 2: It is not in the character of God.
[3:35] Speaker 1: To plant fear in men. Reverence is not fear. Reverence
[3:40] Speaker 1: is respect. The spirit of reverence that the Bible calls
[3:43] Speaker 1: the fear of the Lord. But this fear is timidity, intimidation.
[3:51] Speaker 1: The psychological burden.
[3:53] Speaker 2: That comes from As a result of many.
[3:56] Speaker 1: Factors that I'm going to be explaining to you. The
[3:58] Speaker 1: Bible says, for God has not given us the spirit
[4:02] Speaker 1: of fear. So the first revelation here is that fear
[4:05] Speaker 1: is a spirit. It's not just a psychological thing. There
[4:10] Speaker 1: is a spirit called the spirit of fear.
[4:15] Speaker 2: What do you think the assignment of that spirit is?
[4:18] Speaker 1: To manifest its characteristic in whoever finds himself as the victim.
[4:25] Speaker 2: Is that true?
[4:26] Speaker 1: When the spirit of poverty is in an individual, it
[4:29] Speaker 1: will live out its characteristic. When the spirit of infirmity
[4:32] Speaker 1: is in an individual, it will live out its characteristic.
[4:35] Speaker 2: So when the spirit of fear is in an individual.
[4:38] Speaker 1: The same way when the spirit of power, of might,
[4:41] Speaker 1: is upon an individual, you will see the manifestation. And
[4:44] Speaker 1: the Bible says, God has not given us this spirit.
[4:47] Speaker 1: So there is a certain spirit that roams around the
[4:50] Speaker 1: earth called the spirit of fear.
[4:55] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[4:56] Speaker 1: But there are also three kinds of spirits too. He
[4:59] Speaker 1: says he has not given. So he's dealing with giving
[5:03] Speaker 1: spirit here.
[5:04] Speaker 2: Are we together now?
[5:05] Speaker 1: He's just telling you which spirit he has not given you.
[5:08] Speaker 1: That I have not given you the spirit of fear.
[5:14] Speaker 1: And then he says but the.
[5:15] Speaker 2: Spirit of power. The spirit of love. And the spirit
[5:22] Speaker 2: of a sound mind.
[5:24] Speaker 1: The whole scripture there is talking about spirits that can
[5:27] Speaker 1: be given to men. So when you see a man
[5:31] Speaker 1: exhibiting power, there is a spirit behind it. When you
[5:36] Speaker 1: see love, there is a spirit behind it. And when
[5:39] Speaker 1: you see a sound mind, much more than access to information,
[5:43] Speaker 1: there is a spirit that ensures that your mind attains
[5:48] Speaker 1: a level of renewal sufficient to cause the word of
[5:51] Speaker 1: God to work.
[5:52] Speaker 2: In your life. There is such a spirit.
[5:56] Speaker 1: The spirit of a sound mind is what the Bible
[5:59] Speaker 1: calls the spirit of understanding.
[6:03] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[6:04] Speaker 1: The Bible says it shall make you of quick understanding,
[6:07] Speaker 1: Isaiah 11.
[6:12] Speaker 2: Why do people fear?
[6:17] Speaker 1: There is only one reason you will be surprised. Why
[6:21] Speaker 1: Satan is so interested in giving us fear. First and foremost,
[6:25] Speaker 1: let me just back up a little and say this.
[6:27] Speaker 1: I wrote this down and I want us to. I
[6:30] Speaker 1: wrote here that fear is given. And like any other gift,
[6:34] Speaker 1: it can be received or rejected.
[6:36] Speaker 2: Is that true?
[6:37] Speaker 1: The Bible says, as many as received him. That means
[6:40] Speaker 1: not everybody will receive him. But to those who receive him,
[6:44] Speaker 1: there is an effect. He gave them power to become.
[6:48] Speaker 1: So every time you receive a thing, together with that
[6:51] Speaker 1: reception is power to become.
[6:54] Speaker 2: God has not given us.
[6:56] Speaker 1: That means if another personality, Satan being the cheapest of them,
[7:00] Speaker 1: gives us the spirit of fear, we.
[7:02] Speaker 2: Have a right to reject it.
[7:08] Speaker 1: Our society is full of men and women who live
[7:12] Speaker 1: perpetually in fear. Many of us seated looking at me now, inside, outside,
[7:18] Speaker 1: those following online, we live in fear. Fear has stopped
[7:22] Speaker 1: people from sleeping. Fear has stopped people from going to
[7:26] Speaker 1: the hospital to find out what is wrong with them.
[7:27] Speaker 2: Listen carefully.
[7:29] Speaker 1: Fear has stopped people from taking giant strides to get
[7:32] Speaker 1: out of poverty. Fear has stopped people from doing things
[7:36] Speaker 1: that have never been done.
[7:39] Speaker 2: It's a spirit.
[7:40] Speaker 1: And this spirit, like every other demonic spirit, has an assignment.
[7:46] Speaker 2: Are we together now? Yes. Just like faith is a spirit.
[7:52] Speaker 1: It says we then having the same spirit of faith.
[7:56] Speaker 2: There is a character to faith.
[7:58] Speaker 1: When that spirit is upon you, the spirit of faith
[8:00] Speaker 1: has an assignment.
[8:02] Speaker 2: It empowers you to believe God.
[8:04] Speaker 1: To engage the relevant forces as commanded by God. And
[8:08] Speaker 1: compels God's integrity to speak on your behalf.
[8:12] Speaker 2: Is that true? So also the spirit of fear. It
[8:15] Speaker 2: can be received.
[8:16] Speaker 3: It can be rejected.
[8:17] Speaker 1: It can be rejected. We fear so many things in
[8:22] Speaker 1: our society. We fear success. Interestingly, we fear failure.
[8:29] Speaker 2: We fear....
[8:33] Speaker 1: Traveling from one place to the other. We fear bad news.
[8:38] Speaker 1: We fear all kinds of things. There is a spirit.
[8:41] Speaker 1: All of a sudden you feel a little pain on
[8:43] Speaker 1: your legs. And here comes the spirit of fear.
[8:45] Speaker 2: Listen now.
[8:47] Speaker 1: Let me show you how this spirit works. The spirit
[8:49] Speaker 1: of fear will come and say, your legs. Remember the
[8:52] Speaker 1: documentary you saw where someone's legs started rotting. You see
[8:56] Speaker 1: how the spirit of fear takes advantage of your imagination.
[9:01] Speaker 1: Are we together now? Like the ladies who were sharing
[9:03] Speaker 1: their testimony here.
[9:04] Speaker 2: The spirit of fear.
[9:06] Speaker 1: Some of you are here seated right now. Probably overflow,
[9:09] Speaker 1: maybe one, two, three, or online. And the devil is
[9:12] Speaker 1: planting fear.
[9:12] Speaker 2: You are too far.
[9:13] Speaker 1: The anointing will not touch you. And you'll say, ah,
[9:15] Speaker 1: that's true. You are seated here now wondering, will I receive?
[9:20] Speaker 1: This is the last miracle service. What if God does
[9:23] Speaker 1: not visit me? Manifestations of the spirit of fear. There
[9:31] Speaker 1: are people who will never make progress in their lives
[9:35] Speaker 1: because of fear. There are people who will not travel
[9:39] Speaker 1: because of fear. Why does Satan use fear?
[9:45] Speaker 2: I want to tell you now.
[9:47] Speaker 1: Satan, first and foremost, gives fear to gain access to
[9:56] Speaker 1: your imagination and expectation.
[9:59] Speaker 2: Listen carefully.
[10:00] Speaker 1: The primary purpose of fear is Satan's way of finding
[10:06] Speaker 1: a system where he can reach your imagination and to.
[10:10] Speaker 2: Alter your expectation. Fear is creative in its operation.
[10:19] Speaker 1: There's nobody who is afraid without engaging the power of creativity.
[10:26] Speaker 1: Fear will always give you pictures. Fear will act dramas
[10:29] Speaker 1: in your mind. If you don't have a mind, fear
[10:31] Speaker 1: will be powerless in your life. The purpose of fear
[10:35] Speaker 1: is that it starts from the realm of the spirit.
[10:39] Speaker 1: But then it seeks to find expression in your mind.
[10:42] Speaker 1: To get to your faculties of creativity. And to begin
[10:46] Speaker 1: to alter your imaginations. Listen carefully. And to alter your expectations.
[10:52] Speaker 1: Because Satan knows that it is a law. That the
[10:56] Speaker 1: thing you hold in your mind truly will come to pass.
[11:02] Speaker 1: Are you seeing the purpose of fear now? So, when
[11:04] Speaker 1: you sit down and you want to enter a room,
[11:07] Speaker 1: and all of a sudden you are thinking, what if
[11:09] Speaker 1: I enter and somebody closes my eyes? Notice how powerful
[11:13] Speaker 1: your image, even if you are, not to insult you,
[11:15] Speaker 1: but even if you don't feel you are that smart,
[11:18] Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you are an excellent movie maker.
[11:21] Speaker 2: You are imagining a hand touching your eyes. And it's
[11:26] Speaker 2: so real. And you just say, let me leave. You see,
[11:28] Speaker 2: you acted. Satan acted a drama And stopped you. Correct? Yes.
[11:36] Speaker 1: This is how the devil has manipulated the destinies of people.
[11:40] Speaker 1: He may not come directly. But he uses fear. Fear
[11:43] Speaker 1: is a powerful spirit. Let me tell you this. Every
[11:46] Speaker 1: other spirit is helpless until fear prevails.
[11:52] Speaker 2: I want you to believe this.
[11:54] Speaker 1: Every other spirit joins a queue waiting and hoping. Most
[12:02] Speaker 1: people will not admit that it is fear that is
[12:05] Speaker 1: motivating their activities, but it is.
[12:08] Speaker 2: It is. Yes, it is.
[12:11] Speaker 1: When a student does malpractice, what is responsible?
[12:15] Speaker 2: Fear.
[12:16] Speaker 1: Something in that student tells the student, look, if you
[12:20] Speaker 1: go the way you are going, for sure you are
[12:21] Speaker 1: going to be in hot water. And so he begins
[12:24] Speaker 1: to fabricate strategies to manage the fear.
[12:30] Speaker 2: Why do you hear a sound?
[12:32] Speaker 1: Bam! In your sink and all of a sudden you
[12:34] Speaker 1: are moving. You know sometimes we pray all kinds of
[12:37] Speaker 1: prayers that we really think are faith filled prayers but
[12:42] Speaker 1: they are simply spiritual ways of saying I am afraid.
[12:47] Speaker 1: Like Lord of Jesus. Like Holy Ghost fire. There is
[12:50] Speaker 1: Holy Ghost fire that is real Holy Ghost fire. There
[12:53] Speaker 1: is Holy Ghost fire that what you are saying in
[12:54] Speaker 1: the realm of the spirit is Lord I'm confused. What
[12:56] Speaker 1: is really going on here? That you mention Holy Ghost
[12:59] Speaker 1: does not mean that it's Are you seeing that now?
[13:02] Speaker 2: Fear. I know this very well because I lived in it. Yes.
[13:08] Speaker 2: I lived in it. Fear is dangerous. It short circuits
[13:12] Speaker 2: your potential.
[13:13] Speaker 1: There are people who would do greater than they are
[13:16] Speaker 1: doing now if only they had.
[13:17] Speaker 2: The grace and the understanding to overcome fear. How does
[13:23] Speaker 2: fear work?
[13:24] Speaker 1: Let me show you something. Job chapter 3 verse 25.
[13:27] Speaker 1: This was Job's own testimony.
[13:28] Speaker 2: 3 verse 25. Then I'll quickly teach you how fear works.
[13:32] Speaker 1: Is God helping us? So we've established that fear is
[13:35] Speaker 1: a spirit. Job chapter 3 and verse 25. We've established
[13:38] Speaker 1: the fact that fear.
[13:40] Speaker 2: Is a spirit. Someone help our children. They're really enjoying
[13:45] Speaker 2: themselves around. Hallelujah.
[13:51] Speaker 1: Job chapter 3 and verse 25.
[13:53] Speaker 2: Read with me. Want to read. For the thing which
[13:57] Speaker 2: I greatly feared.
[13:59] Speaker 4: Stop.
[13:59] Speaker 2: For what? There was an object. Otherwise fear was not there.
[14:05] Speaker 2: The thing which I greatly feared.
[14:09] Speaker 1: Did what? And that which I was afraid of. So, Paul,
[14:18] Speaker 1: I mean, Job gives fear a magnetic property that when you.
[14:24] Speaker 2: Begin to fear, it has an effect.
[14:27] Speaker 1: It can attract to your life the very thing you
[14:30] Speaker 1: are afraid of.
[14:35] Speaker 2: We fear failure. That's why we fail. Fear is expectation.
[14:46] Speaker 1: It takes advantage of your imagination. You will think you
[14:49] Speaker 1: are rejecting it. But you think upon it. It controls
[14:53] Speaker 1: your life. What if they now say I have cancer?
[14:59] Speaker 1: This one that I watched. I watched a movie that
[15:01] Speaker 1: says eating cabbage is wrong. How many of these things
[15:04] Speaker 1: are about eating? I've gone to the farm eating one
[15:06] Speaker 1: whole cabbage by myself. Maybe I have cancer. And then
[15:09] Speaker 1: you just think. And all of a sudden pain manifests
[15:12] Speaker 1: from nowhere. Pain that should not be there. And you
[15:16] Speaker 1: just touch and, ah, what is this boil about? And
[15:19] Speaker 1: devil say, are you joking? You better go and read
[15:20] Speaker 1: it up. You go to Google.
[15:24] Speaker 2: Symptoms of cancer enter.
[15:28] Speaker 1: And you find out many other people like you around
[15:31] Speaker 1: the world.
[15:32] Speaker 2: That fear is prevailing over. And they say it can start.
[15:35] Speaker 2: Sometimes it can look like a boil. And devil say,
[15:38] Speaker 2: that's it. Let me tell you. Listen, listen, listen. While
[15:40] Speaker 2: you laugh, pay attention.
[15:42] Speaker 1: You will be surprised if spirit will enter that boil.
[15:46] Speaker 2: And turned something that you would have squeezed with your
[15:48] Speaker 2: hand to a real cancer.
[15:50] Speaker 1: That thing had no power to become cancerous. Your partnership
[15:54] Speaker 1: with fear activated. It added a spirit to that thing.
[15:58] Speaker 1: Remember James taught us chapter 2 verse 26. That a
[16:01] Speaker 1: body without a spirit is dead. That thing was just
[16:06] Speaker 1: a body but a spirit entered it. And the growth
[16:09] Speaker 1: became unusual.
[16:10] Speaker 2: And all of a sudden. I will tell it all.
[16:13] Speaker 2: This is it. And you say, you see, I knew it. See,
[16:15] Speaker 2: I've been telling you. You are right. You have been
[16:17] Speaker 2: saying it.
[16:18] Speaker 1: Because whatever you say, think upon is what will become
[16:22] Speaker 1: your reality.
[16:23] Speaker 2: The spirit of fear.
[16:27] Speaker 1: See, when you understand what fear is, you begin to
[16:30] Speaker 1: understand the keys of the kingdom like praise. And the
[16:34] Speaker 1: things that they do to you is much more than dancing.
[16:42] Speaker 1: Satan attempts to give us fear by causing us to
[16:46] Speaker 1: walk in the realm of the flesh.
[16:49] Speaker 2: The senses. Satan's domain of operation is the flesh. Senses.
[16:55] Speaker 2: Now the senses are not wrong. They are the.
[16:58] Speaker 1: Physical faculties God has given to find expression.
[17:01] Speaker 2: But Satan will take advantage.
[17:03] Speaker 1: The Bible says to be carnally minded is death. But
[17:07] Speaker 1: to be spiritually minded is life and peace. To be
[17:11] Speaker 1: carnally minded. To be ruled by your senses. When things
[17:16] Speaker 1: work physically, you are happy. When things don't work well,
[17:19] Speaker 1: you are angry.
[17:20] Speaker 2: Correct? When there is money in your pocket, you are joyful.
[17:23] Speaker 2: You are carnal. The Bible says you are walking in
[17:25] Speaker 2: the flesh.
[17:26] Speaker 1: You are governed by your sensory perceptions and not by
[17:31] Speaker 1: the word of God. Our society is full of people.
[17:37] Speaker 1: You can almost know when someone has not collected a salary.
[17:41] Speaker 1: One day past salary time. Everything about that. Now I'm
[17:46] Speaker 1: not saying that people should not receive salaries. But you
[17:49] Speaker 1: can always know. Even if the person has one million
[17:52] Speaker 1: in his account. He has been taught to respond to
[17:54] Speaker 1: the senses. So you will know what is wrong. What
[17:57] Speaker 1: do you mean what is wrong? What is today's date?
[17:59] Speaker 1: And you see all of that.
[18:02] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[18:04] Speaker 1: We have been taught. We have carried our hearts and
[18:08] Speaker 1: put them on our faces. People can almost predict with
[18:11] Speaker 1: no kind of psychological aid.
[18:14] Speaker 2: You are not feeling happy. What's wrong? Say, what do
[18:15] Speaker 2: you mean what's wrong? The restaurant is closed. You know,
[18:19] Speaker 2: what is wrong? This and that has happened.
[18:21] Speaker 1: And we justify these things to mean that we have
[18:24] Speaker 1: a right to express ourselves. We do not know that
[18:27] Speaker 1: we walk in the flesh at our detriment. Satan is
[18:30] Speaker 1: the master of the flesh realm. When you dwell in
[18:33] Speaker 1: the realm of the senses, where he can manipulate you
[18:37] Speaker 1: using sensory perceptions, he will win over you a thousand times.
[18:42] Speaker 2: Are we together? Are we together?
[18:44] Speaker 1: The realm of true victory for a spiritual man is
[18:47] Speaker 1: being spiritual.
[18:50] Speaker 2: So every time people see, that's why the Bible says
[18:52] Speaker 2: rejoice in the Lord. How many times? And again I repeat, rejoice. Rejoice.
[19:00] Speaker 2: So you see someone happy all the time. And you
[19:03] Speaker 2: are wondering.
[19:04] Speaker 1: Now wow this 2017 is really wonderful for you. And
[19:08] Speaker 1: then the person tells you a story. That you will
[19:11] Speaker 1: be surprised. Do you know that this year they stole
[19:15] Speaker 1: my car. They stole my house. They stole my land.
[19:20] Speaker 1: And you say, this is like your happiest year. So
[19:22] Speaker 1: I found a revelation. That if I reduce myself to
[19:25] Speaker 1: the realm of the senses, I authorize darkness to prevail
[19:28] Speaker 1: over me.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Am I not human? Should I not cry?
[19:34] Speaker 1: What is all this nonsense? Joshua, set my mind yourself.
[19:36] Speaker 1: You see, it's this kind of societal talk. We think
[19:39] Speaker 1: it's a very nice talk. It attracts empathy. Together with
[19:43] Speaker 1: that empathy, fear joins them and comes to wreck your life.
[19:48] Speaker 2: Say, I refuse to walk by my senses. Say it again.
[19:52] Speaker 2: I refuse to walk by my senses. I walk by
[19:56] Speaker 2: the word of God.
[19:59] Speaker 1: See, you don't respond just when physical things change.
[20:04] Speaker 2: You respond now. Based on the word of God. This
[20:07] Speaker 2: is what makes a man spiritual.
[20:09] Speaker 1: It's not just praying in tongues and lifting wheelchairs. It's
[20:12] Speaker 1: the ability to have worked with the Holy Spirit. To
[20:15] Speaker 1: so discipline your faculties of expression. That the effect of
[20:20] Speaker 1: the physical realm on your spiritual life is minimal.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Are we together? Yes.
[20:32] Speaker 1: When Satan would want Jesus to talk, he would keep quiet.
[20:35] Speaker 1: Legitimate reason to talk and he would keep quiet. On
[20:40] Speaker 1: the cross you think he would be angry. And there
[20:42] Speaker 1: he looks and says, look father forgive them for they
[20:45] Speaker 1: know not what they are doing.
[20:46] Speaker 2: That's a spiritual man. Fear thrives upon our carnality.
[20:53] Speaker 1: Our ability to consistently.
[20:56] Speaker 2: Dwell in the realm of the flesh.
[20:58] Speaker 1: We become victims of the physical environment. And I told
[21:02] Speaker 1: you this, there are too many things, brothers and sisters,
[21:07] Speaker 1: within one hour in the world we live in today,
[21:10] Speaker 1: there are too many things that will manipulate you to
[21:13] Speaker 1: a point where you no longer trust God.
[21:16] Speaker 4: Are we together?
