The last time I interviewed Bec, she’d just lost her job, everything was uncertain and she was still heartbroken. Now, as the dust has settled on this year’s Married At First Sight, I wanted to see how things have changed for her in the seven weeks since we last spoke. During this interview, Bec breaks down what her new talent management do, the $6,000 brand deal she turned down, how things stand with certain cast members and what is happening between her and her rumoured new man, who is a well-known male escort. [0:00] Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome back to The Maths ONNY Podcasts, and
[0:02] Speaker 1: welcome to Life after Maths, which no is not a
[0:06] Speaker 1: new series. I'm doing it so one off podcast today
[0:09] Speaker 1: where I invited Beck back into my house to sits
[0:13] Speaker 1: on the sofa. She did about seven weeks ago, now
[0:16] Speaker 1: is it when I first interviewed her, And I was
[0:19] Speaker 1: just keen to find out what's changed, Incent, because that
[0:22] Speaker 1: interview was quite bleak at times, and Beck wasn't in
[0:27] Speaker 1: the best spot. You know, she just lost the job,
[0:30] Speaker 1: she was struggling to pay rent. Everything felt uncertain and heavy,
[0:35] Speaker 1: and a lot has changed, Incent, and the show's over,
[0:39] Speaker 1: and as we've read recently, she's signed with like a
[0:42] Speaker 1: talent celebrity management agency or something. I was just curious
[0:47] Speaker 1: to say, like what is the go there, Like do
[0:49] Speaker 1: you have a new job, what are you working on?
[0:52] Speaker 1: What is life now like after Maths? And also I
[0:56] Speaker 1: was keen to ask about her rumored new boyfriend. You
[1:00] Speaker 1: may have seen some stuff going around online this week.
[1:02] Speaker 1: They were spotted together out in Sydney on a day
[1:06] Speaker 1: and this guy is well, he's kind of known as
[1:10] Speaker 1: I think Australia's most expensive male escort and he's got
[1:14] Speaker 1: like a small following, and he's commented on some posts
[1:17] Speaker 1: about them, clarifying that no, Beck did not book him,
[1:22] Speaker 1: like he's not seeing her as an escort. They were
[1:24] Speaker 1: like on a date as two people on a date,
[1:28] Speaker 1: which is like such a random plot. So just to
[1:31] Speaker 1: be honest when we talk about reality television and just
[1:33] Speaker 1: how it's chaotic and controversial and unexpected, Beck suddenly now
[1:39] Speaker 1: being spotted out with this kind of like well well
[1:43] Speaker 1: known prolific escort and this confusion is she paying him?
[1:46] Speaker 1: Is she not? Are your thing? What's going on? It
[1:49] Speaker 1: just like the whirlwind of this show never ends. But yeah,
[1:53] Speaker 1: I said to Beck, like i'd be kin to just
[1:55] Speaker 1: find out what is life like now post show? And
[1:59] Speaker 1: she said, yeah, she's down, and as always she would
[2:02] Speaker 1: answer everything with complete honesty, especially about this new guy
[2:08] Speaker 1: Marcus he's called. So yeah, here's the interview. Enjoy, Hello Josh,
[2:16] Speaker 1: back in my house, back in your house, back on
[2:19] Speaker 1: my sofa.
[2:20] Speaker 2: It's a comfy sofar.
[2:22] Speaker 1: I reckon, it's been about two months? Is it six
[2:24] Speaker 1: seven weeks?
[2:24] Speaker 2: Since seven weeks? I reckon? Maybe actually maybe two months.
[2:29] Speaker 1: I already see such a change in you, do you? Yeah?
[2:33] Speaker 1: Happier lighter, more carefree.
[2:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like a different person if I'm honest
[2:40] Speaker 3: with you, Like.
[2:41] Speaker 1: You no longer have the weight of the world on
[2:42] Speaker 1: your shoulders.
[2:43] Speaker 3: No, I did when I saw when I saw you
[2:45] Speaker 3: that day, when I did, when we did our first part.
[2:49] Speaker 2: It was not a good spot to be in. I
[2:51] Speaker 2: was not well mentally. I reckon.
[2:57] Speaker 1: This sounds like I took advantage of you said the podcast. No,
[3:01] Speaker 1: but I get it you it was the fig of
[3:03] Speaker 1: the show. There was about three weeks left. You had
[3:05] Speaker 1: just recorded with Abby Chatfield. You're just one the Daily Mail. Yeah,
[3:08] Speaker 1: you've done Evelyn to move with her. Then you came here.
[3:11] Speaker 2: I did.
[3:12] Speaker 1: You're getting trolled every day? Yeah it was a lot.
[3:15] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[3:16] Speaker 3: I was getting like fifty hate messages a day, death threats,
[3:20] Speaker 3: people just basically telling me that I was just a
[3:23] Speaker 3: piece of shit.
[3:24] Speaker 2: But that's changed now.
[3:27] Speaker 3: I think that's in part to maybe the unseen footage
[3:31] Speaker 3: of Danny as well coming out and people being like, oh,
[3:34] Speaker 3: actually he did tell her one thing and said another
[3:38] Speaker 3: and you know whatnot so that's helped me. But also
[3:41] Speaker 3: it's just like removing myself from it a little bit.
[3:43] Speaker 3: And yeah, a Lisa gets a hate now, Paul Love,
[3:48] Speaker 3: it's gone from me to a listener.
[3:49] Speaker 1: It's like you castmembers just past the batton. Okay, I've
[3:52] Speaker 1: had my stint as the villain over to you one
[3:54] Speaker 1: hundred percent.
[3:54] Speaker 2: Well, that's what they are.
[3:56] Speaker 3: Like. The producers did tell us, like, every single woman
[3:58] Speaker 3: this season will have a villain a SMA apart from Stella,
[4:01] Speaker 3: of course, but they did say that to us. They
[4:05] Speaker 3: preempted us that there's no one villain, I mean jerious villain,
[4:07] Speaker 3: but like there's no one villain of the season like
[4:10] Speaker 3: there normally is. And I think that we've very much
[4:13] Speaker 3: seen that play out.
[4:15] Speaker 1: Did you have any idea they were going to turn
[4:16] Speaker 1: it on Danny like they did at the end.
[4:18] Speaker 2: No idea at all.
[4:19] Speaker 3: No, because I didn't know Josh that he had been
[4:21] Speaker 3: saying that. Like I knew that there was something amiss,
[4:24] Speaker 3: of course, but I didn't know to that extent. But
[4:27] Speaker 3: I also didn't know what he had said about me.
[4:29] Speaker 3: So yeah, I was just an absolute idiot thinking, oh,
[4:34] Speaker 3: he told me he loved me, and then instead he
[4:37] Speaker 3: was saying that he could find better chicks.
[4:39] Speaker 1: And coals to me, watching those unseen moments, and I
[4:42] Speaker 1: speak a lot about narratives on this podcast, obviously explosive
[4:46] Speaker 1: drama were like the last hurdle, we think we know
[4:48] Speaker 1: it all, and then a whole new personality for someone.
[4:51] Speaker 1: But to me, it's like almost detrimental to the show
[4:54] Speaker 1: because it shows the power they have in manipulating footage,
[4:58] Speaker 1: and they excluded so much that a lot of people
[5:01] Speaker 1: started to feel sorry for you because it felt you well,
[5:03] Speaker 1: you were being strong along, but people were still like, oh,
[5:05] Speaker 1: you know, Danny seems all right. But then it was like, actually,
[5:09] Speaker 1: you no, look at this, look at this, look at this,
[5:10] Speaker 1: look at this, look at this, And then it's like, oh,
[5:12] Speaker 1: if you played that as the season progressed, everything would
[5:16] Speaker 1: have been different.
[5:16] Speaker 2: Everything would have been different. I completely agree with you.
[5:19] Speaker 3: It's it's well everyone that speaks to me, because I
[5:23] Speaker 3: do get stopped a lot, like everyone asked for photos
[5:25] Speaker 3: and I love it because it's nice to speak to people,
[5:27] Speaker 3: but a lot of them are like, you know, what's
[5:30] Speaker 3: he edited?
[5:31] Speaker 2: Was it like this?
[5:32] Speaker 3: And I do have to just say to people like,
[5:34] Speaker 3: we're on a show for entertainment. But when you say
[5:37] Speaker 3: it like that, it is pretty mind blowing that you
[5:41] Speaker 3: can have like, let's use Danny for example, right, he
[5:45] Speaker 3: can go throughout this whole show being like, I'm a gentleman.
[5:48] Speaker 2: I'm a gentleman.
[5:49] Speaker 3: I don't like the way that you speak back rah
[5:51] Speaker 3: rah rah, and behind the scenes is speaking just as
[5:55] Speaker 3: poorly as I was.
[5:56] Speaker 2: But then all of a sudden, it switches. But you're right.
[6:00] Speaker 3: If they had been playing these moments as they were happening,
[6:05] Speaker 3: I wonder, I just wonder how how my life would
[6:09] Speaker 3: have been different throughout the show airing it would have been.
[6:11] Speaker 2: I think it would have been night and day.
[6:13] Speaker 1: I almost applaud Animal and the producers because you know,
[6:18] Speaker 1: for years now everyone comes out and blames the edit,
[6:20] Speaker 1: and that argument almost feels tired. So then it's almost
[6:24] Speaker 1: like they've leaned into that and went, yeah, fuck it,
[6:27] Speaker 1: we do edit it, and that we're gonna twist it.
[6:29] Speaker 1: And even this year, the difference was all those audio
[6:32] Speaker 1: based scenes and towards the end, you and g It
[6:34] Speaker 1: in the bathroom saying do this get the sympathy, which
[6:36] Speaker 1: was funny, but obviously you were thinking, I'm in the toilet,
[6:40] Speaker 1: nothing of this is being used. I'm not being recorded.
[6:43] Speaker 1: I know you had a miCLIP done, but you, I
[6:45] Speaker 1: assume were like we're safe in here.
[6:49] Speaker 2: No I knew, Oh yeah, I knew.
[6:52] Speaker 1: Oh so you did that on purpose.
[6:54] Speaker 2: I knew that.
[6:55] Speaker 3: Look it was it was my last chance to take
[6:57] Speaker 3: it down, do you know what I mean? She'd taken
[7:01] Speaker 3: me down every day. So but no, we knew, we
[7:04] Speaker 3: had bet, we had heard rumblings. We probably didn't expect it.
[7:08] Speaker 3: What I will tell you we didn't expect like when
[7:11] Speaker 3: Brooke and Jeer were calling Rachel and Alyssa and Stella
[7:14] Speaker 3: nbls like natural forward losers, which is now being turned
[7:17] Speaker 3: around to natural born legends. But no one ever thought
[7:21] Speaker 3: that that footage and Mike's would be used.
[7:25] Speaker 2: I knew that we would be.
[7:26] Speaker 3: In the bathroom and that those conversations were listened to.
[7:30] Speaker 3: But it's interesting, isn't it, because, like, you know, the conversations,
[7:34] Speaker 3: for example, that Danny and I would have in our
[7:36] Speaker 3: tent because we're all intents.
[7:38] Speaker 2: I'm surprised that those weren't used.
[7:39] Speaker 3: As well, because there was so many, Like every dinner party,
[7:42] Speaker 3: I'd check in with him and be like, look, babe,
[7:44] Speaker 3: like are we good?
[7:46] Speaker 2: Are we happy? Do you want this? Like we were
[7:48] Speaker 2: in there for hours, and that's where like such massive
[7:52] Speaker 2: reassurances would happen.
[7:53] Speaker 3: So it's weird that they used like, you know, little
[7:56] Speaker 3: snippets of talking to producers, but not the snippets of
[7:59] Speaker 3: like when you actually having these personal conversations.
[8:01] Speaker 2: But I don't know what their method and their madness is.
[8:04] Speaker 3: But I'm just I feel validated if I'm honest with you,
[8:07] Speaker 3: and you know, I'm always honest the footage. As much
[8:10] Speaker 3: as it hurt, like it hurt to see what he
[8:13] Speaker 3: said about me and the realities of what he actually
[8:16] Speaker 3: felt after that pain subsided from an embarrassment, I feel
[8:22] Speaker 3: validated in the fact that I'm not actually as crazy
[8:27] Speaker 3: as I looked, you know.
[8:29] Speaker 2: Yep. But yeah, kudos to Endemol and nine.
[8:33] Speaker 1: They've played it great, sucking.
[8:34] Speaker 3: It up and absolutely fucking Mike dropping it at the end.
[8:38] Speaker 2: So for everyone really.
[8:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, and on these podcasts instead of just keep going
[8:43] Speaker 1: over old history that I wanted to just move forward
[8:46] Speaker 1: to life after the show and last time you sat
[8:50] Speaker 1: on the sofa. Obviously you just lost your job, yep.
[8:54] Speaker 1: You are struggling with money have you had after filming?
[8:58] Speaker 1: Left the house you own to rent a smaller place yep,
[9:01] Speaker 1: to leash your house out where you're struggling to pay rent.
[9:04] Speaker 1: Everything looked bleak.
[9:07] Speaker 3: Everything at that point was bleak. That was the lowest
[9:09] Speaker 3: I think of my time. But since then, Look, it's
[9:14] Speaker 3: not easy. I'm not going to sit here and be
[9:15] Speaker 3: like everything's great.
[9:16] Speaker 2: It's not.
[9:17] Speaker 3: I'm still not earning money. I'm running off of fumes.
[9:20] Speaker 3: But life has gotten better, for sure. You know, I've
[9:22] Speaker 3: got management, and you know, the hater subsided. I've got
[9:27] Speaker 3: some fun things happening which are paid. There's you know,
[9:30] Speaker 3: there's bits and pieces going on which you know, if
[9:33] Speaker 3: I can get through this month of May, I'm going
[9:36] Speaker 3: to be in a in a good spot.
[9:38] Speaker 1: Then you'll start earning. Because you said you've been booked
[9:40] Speaker 1: to hosts like a dating night somewhere else.
[9:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, so through my management.
[9:45] Speaker 1: Firstly, let's just when you send management to your average listener, like, okay,
[9:49] Speaker 1: so what did they do? What is that?
[9:51] Speaker 2: I can I say the name of my manager?
[9:53] Speaker 1: Of course.
[9:54] Speaker 3: So I had a couple of emails from some people
[9:56] Speaker 3: wanting to represent me, which means that they will essentially
[10:00] Speaker 3: go out and be the middleman for me with brands
[10:02] Speaker 3: and events and stuff like that to get me paid appearances.
[10:07] Speaker 3: You know, I by no means look at myself as
[10:09] Speaker 3: an influencer. I just look at myself as Bezy, right,
[10:12] Speaker 3: so everyone calls me Bez and I just think that
[10:15] Speaker 3: you know, if if someone wants me to do something
[10:17] Speaker 3: for them, great, But it's very difficult as a single
[10:21] Speaker 3: entity to be able to know what you know, her
[10:24] Speaker 3: to reach out to and how they can come to
[10:26] Speaker 3: me and whatnot. So my management agent, I had a
[10:30] Speaker 3: conversation with her Lana, and I.
[10:33] Speaker 2: Connected with her.
[10:34] Speaker 3: I think it's really important if you're going to work
[10:35] Speaker 3: with someone that you guys feel organically, you know, trust
[10:39] Speaker 3: them as well.
[10:39] Speaker 2: Correct.
[10:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, And so what she does is she has brands
[10:43] Speaker 3: reaching out to her or establishments, and she will negotiate
[10:48] Speaker 3: a fee for me timelines, and she's like the middleman
[10:52] Speaker 3: of it all and then comes to me and says,
[10:53] Speaker 3: can you do this? Can you do that? I say
[10:55] Speaker 3: yes or no? Does it align with me? And you
[10:57] Speaker 3: know who I am? And then she goes in and
[11:00] Speaker 3: and she takes her fee and I get my fee
[11:02] Speaker 3: and yeah it works like that.
[11:05] Speaker 1: And a lot of people when every year it's the
[11:07] Speaker 1: same story, this person is Samy, this person this person
[11:09] Speaker 1: Sam with that, and people go, oh, that was the
[11:11] Speaker 1: plan all along. But I know it looks like that,
[11:14] Speaker 1: but I get it from your perspective. You know, you've
[11:17] Speaker 1: come off with no job. You've got people saying, hey,
[11:19] Speaker 1: we're doing a speed date and night in Melbourne. You'd
[11:21] Speaker 1: be a funny host. We'll give you two grand so like, yeah, exactly,
[11:25] Speaker 1: Like you may as well benefit because you know, Math's
[11:29] Speaker 1: the Channel nine. They make tens of millions off each season,
[11:31] Speaker 1: which is off your Misery Your Life follows apart. Their
[11:36] Speaker 1: profits go up, but it's the most profitable show on
[11:38] Speaker 1: that entire network, right yeah, So yeah, these like I
[11:41] Speaker 1: always feel conflicted because half of it feels like, oh,
[11:43] Speaker 1: they just went on for that, and I get.
[11:44] Speaker 2: That, but yeah, I mean, look it is. It's it's
[11:47] Speaker 2: not to be honest with you.
[11:48] Speaker 3: And you can ask any of the cast that I'm
[11:50] Speaker 3: friends with, as Sam right, your mate.
[11:56] Speaker 2: You know, when when.
[11:57] Speaker 3: Conversing with my my peers and not, I said, from
[12:01] Speaker 3: the get go, I don't think that anyone would be
[12:03] Speaker 3: interested in managing me. You know, I was extremely controversial,
[12:05] Speaker 3: and you know it's not like I've left with the largest.
[12:07] Speaker 2: Following or anything like that.
[12:09] Speaker 3: But when I was starting to get these emails through
[12:13] Speaker 3: asking me. I thought, well, I would be remiss not
[12:16] Speaker 3: to you know, it would be it would be silly
[12:18] Speaker 3: for me not to take up this opportunity whilst I
[12:20] Speaker 3: don't have a job, and whilst I am struggling to
[12:22] Speaker 3: get you know, some work. And so look, i'll tell
[12:26] Speaker 3: you for example, a gentleman in Auckland, New Zealand. He
[12:31] Speaker 3: is a restauranteur and apparently in New Zealand, I'm quite
[12:35] Speaker 3: big over there. I don't know why, but yeah, apparently.
[12:38] Speaker 3: And so what he's doing is I've got a fee.
[12:41] Speaker 3: I'm not going to say what the fee is, but
[12:44] Speaker 3: he's booked me. So they're flying me over to New Zealand,
[12:47] Speaker 3: putting me into a hotel.
[12:49] Speaker 2: I'm not gonna say it's hotel because you know.
[12:52] Speaker 3: And I'm hosting two dinner parties on two separate nights.
[12:56] Speaker 3: It's a ticketed event for him with a Q and
[12:58] Speaker 3: A and then we're doing a cocktail hour at one
[13:01] Speaker 3: of his other restaurants. And you know, that's something that
[13:04] Speaker 3: I'm doing. So I get to go overseas, I get
[13:06] Speaker 3: to go and meet people in New Zealand who like me,
[13:10] Speaker 3: and we get to have another couple of dinner parties
[13:13] Speaker 3: in a cocktail hour, so you know, things are looking up.
[13:16] Speaker 2: It's amazing. I didn't think I'd ever have this opportunity.
[13:19] Speaker 1: And I would say it's unlikely any of the time
[13:22] Speaker 1: of your life there's going to be people saying, hey,
[13:24] Speaker 1: we're going to fly you to come to our restaurant
[13:25] Speaker 1: to another country, Like hello, take it, Oh why you.
[13:28] Speaker 3: Can't That's what I'm doing, and I'm just like I'm
[13:30] Speaker 3: just immersing myself in it. You know, even Fashion Week
[13:33] Speaker 3: next week, like I actually don't know how I'm going
[13:35] Speaker 3: to be able to pay for my flights here, but
[13:36] Speaker 3: I'm coming and I'm going to go and sit in
[13:40] Speaker 3: fashion shows at fashion Week, which just for me feels
[13:42] Speaker 3: like a dream. You know.
[13:44] Speaker 1: It's aso funny because every time I go on TikTok
[13:45] Speaker 1: and you're doing your outfice of the day is like,
[13:47] Speaker 1: so my boots from k is from there, and like
[13:49] Speaker 1: that's great because yeah, like followers will go, oh connect
[13:53] Speaker 1: with that, Like yeah, just a regular girl.
[13:55] Speaker 2: Still one hundred percent.
[13:56] Speaker 3: And this is the thing, Like everyone talked about me
[13:59] Speaker 3: my clothes on Maths, right, and I was one of
[14:01] Speaker 3: the only ones who didn't.
[14:03] Speaker 2: Hire every week.
[14:04] Speaker 3: I always dressed and you never see me with my
[14:06] Speaker 3: boobs out and stuff like that.
[14:07] Speaker 2: Very rare. But the way in which I dress is
[14:12] Speaker 2: always a mix.
[14:12] Speaker 3: Right, So you've got you know, Kmart Target, but then
[14:15] Speaker 3: I've also got you know, deal ysel Omez, but they're
[14:19] Speaker 3: like the accessories that go with it. And I sort
[14:22] Speaker 3: of feel like that high low situation is very me
[14:24] Speaker 3: and I'm not afraid to say it. I don't need
[14:26] Speaker 3: to be dressed in you know, head to toe of
[14:29] Speaker 3: like you know, high end brands to look good. You
[14:32] Speaker 3: can go to Kmart and you can buy a piece
[14:34] Speaker 3: and then you can match it with a pair of
[14:35] Speaker 3: three hundred dollar jeans and you look sick. Or you
[14:37] Speaker 3: can match it with a pair of twenty dollars jeans
[14:39] Speaker 3: from a thrift store and you look sick.
[14:40] Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
[14:42] Speaker 3: It's like that's just my vibe. But they want me
[14:44] Speaker 3: to go to fashion week and I'm bloody.
[14:45] Speaker 1: Going this chart. I wanted to do it a lot
[14:48] Speaker 1: where we pick up of points on last one and
[14:50] Speaker 1: see where we're at now, and then the last film
[14:53] Speaker 1: we spoke a lot about you know, how the show
[14:55] Speaker 1: drug tested, how you you don't drink as much as
[14:58] Speaker 1: people think. Yeah, now obviously the show it was over,
[15:00] Speaker 1: so no one's drug testing you.
[15:01] Speaker 2: Yep, let's go.
[15:04] Speaker 1: No, I'm just joking for people that I can't see.
[15:06] Speaker 1: I've just given back a plastic bag with two piss pots.
[15:09] Speaker 2: So this is literally a drug test.
[15:12] Speaker 1: Okay, now you know why I've got that, why I
[15:14] Speaker 1: have to get my free monthly SDI test.
[15:19] Speaker 2: Like, let's do a drug test right now, let's go.
[15:21] Speaker 1: I wouldn't even know how to do it, okay.
[15:23] Speaker 3: In fact, I don't really want to piss in a
[15:24] Speaker 3: pot in your house, to be honest. Yea, But yeah,
[15:27] Speaker 3: anyone wants a drug test me, come at me. Did
[15:29] Speaker 3: you see me instantly grab it.
[15:30] Speaker 2: Let's go.
[15:31] Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, oh I just fight me, be
[15:32] Speaker 1: a funny thing for the podcast.
[15:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[15:35] Speaker 3: No, you know I said last time, like I was
[15:37] Speaker 3: very open to the fact that, you know, in my life,
[15:39] Speaker 3: I've definitely you know, had a line or two like
[15:41] Speaker 3: but I'm not taking drugs.
[15:43] Speaker 2: I'm not a drug addict.
[15:45] Speaker 3: And also the alcoholism, like I've actually gone out and
[15:49] Speaker 3: I will you know, whilst the show was airing, I
[15:52] Speaker 3: was really what's the word, I was really cautious and
[15:56] Speaker 3: coy and worried and nervous that if I had a
[15:59] Speaker 3: glass of wine in my hand, or you know, had
[16:01] Speaker 3: a vodkasoda, that people would be.
[16:02] Speaker 1: Like, oh.
[16:03] Speaker 2: And now I'm like, do you know what? Can I swear?
[16:07] Speaker 2: Fuck you? Like, I don't care.
[16:09] Speaker 3: I'll post a photo on my social media of me
[16:12] Speaker 3: having a glass of veno because do you know what,
[16:15] Speaker 3: I go out and I socialize, and I go to events,
[16:17] Speaker 3: and I go out for dinners and I go out
[16:19] Speaker 3: for lunches and I enjoy time with my friends and
[16:22] Speaker 3: my family, and I'll drink a glass of freesling and
[16:25] Speaker 3: I don't care what you think the end.
[16:28] Speaker 1: You know, it's funny like three days ago you posted
[16:30] Speaker 1: a TikTok of you and a list of running through
[16:31] Speaker 1: the airport terminal with a glass of white Yeah.
[16:34] Speaker 3: And I'm just like, do you know what, Like it's
[16:36] Speaker 3: no one's business, you know, people go on about me
[16:38] Speaker 3: putting my finger in my mouth, like this is a
[16:41] Speaker 3: self pacifying, soothing thing for me, right Like, I'll sit
[16:44] Speaker 3: there and I need to be doing things with my hands.
[16:46] Speaker 3: It's something I'm learning about about, you know, ADHD and
[16:49] Speaker 3: stuff like that, and so this is what I do
[16:51] Speaker 3: and like last night, for example, when there was a
[16:54] Speaker 3: post put up of me on a maths page and
[16:58] Speaker 3: all the comments, I just got a fingers in a mouth.
[17:00] Speaker 3: She's picking your teeth, and it's like I just went
[17:03] Speaker 3: wrong and I just put up a story and I
[17:04] Speaker 3: was just like you all, like this.
[17:06] Speaker 2: Is what I do to make me feel comfortable.
[17:09] Speaker 1: It's almost like an anxiety.
[17:11] Speaker 2: Correct and I need to be doing something with my hands.
[17:13] Speaker 3: It's like almost like if I had a squishy in
[17:15] Speaker 3: my hand, I wouldn't be doing that. But this is
[17:17] Speaker 3: just me and I'm learning so much about me. I'm
[17:20] Speaker 3: not an alcoholic. I know who I am, and if
[17:22] Speaker 3: you want to talk about it, then go for it.
[17:25] Speaker 2: I mean, all you're doing is helping me.
[17:27] Speaker 1: But no, it's funny as well, because I keep saying
[17:29] Speaker 1: the show Maxers Reflect And I realized this past week
[17:33] Speaker 1: through my therapist myths time of years are stressful for
[17:37] Speaker 1: me because there's a lot of work yep. So I
[17:38] Speaker 1: usually try to only do that, but I had two
[17:40] Speaker 1: other big projects at the same time, so I was
[17:42] Speaker 1: doing sometimes eighteen hour days and that's why in the
[17:44] Speaker 1: pot hours often be like my voice is gone because
[17:47] Speaker 1: I was doing so much. And then at the start
[17:49] Speaker 1: of February, I was like, oh, a couple of whiskeys
[17:52] Speaker 1: when I get home much Telly. Finally, and then I
[17:54] Speaker 1: realized that with the past few months, that's become a
[17:57] Speaker 1: routine and I don't have a problem in the slightest.
[17:59] Speaker 1: But when I'm to my therapist the other day, I
[18:01] Speaker 1: seemed like once every few weeks, he's like, I used
[18:03] Speaker 1: to go in to gym watch that. I was like,
[18:04] Speaker 1: I've been too busy for having a few drinks, so
[18:06] Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, you see feel your face floated.
[18:09] Speaker 1: I said that to him, like I really need to
[18:11] Speaker 1: get back to my fitness. Then he's like, how much
[18:13] Speaker 1: are you drink? And I was like, I get like
[18:14] Speaker 1: a maybe bottler whiskey every week or two. He's like,
[18:17] Speaker 1: oh what. Then I was like, yeah, just like a
[18:19] Speaker 1: couple of watching to I don't get drunk. Then he's like, oh,
[18:21] Speaker 1: but this could be a problem, and I was like,
[18:23] Speaker 1: oh fucking hell, yeah, but you don't realize.
[18:25] Speaker 2: But you don't realize it. No, absolutely not.
[18:29] Speaker 1: Okay, last time we spoke. Obviously, you have to still
[18:32] Speaker 1: pretend about Danny somewhat, even though we all knew it
[18:34] Speaker 1: was over now you're fully single. Book, there's rumors of
[18:38] Speaker 1: a new man.
[18:41] Speaker 2: I knew you're going to ask about this.
[18:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, so of context, you got spotted on a day
[18:48] Speaker 1: a few days ago with this guy called Marcus, is it? Yeah,
[18:52] Speaker 1: Marcus Rich He is doing some kind of TikTok reality
[18:56] Speaker 1: series which is no offense t him. Quite small. It's
[18:59] Speaker 1: not really if you're not if you're not any suburbs,
[19:03] Speaker 1: I don't think people would necessarily know about. It's just
[19:05] Speaker 1: bond a people with a TikTok series where it follows
[19:07] Speaker 1: what they're up to. This guy is heavily tattooed. He's British. Yeah,
[19:11] Speaker 1: very similar to Nanny just now realized. And then his
[19:15] Speaker 1: controversy is he's also a male escort.
[19:18] Speaker 3: Correct the most expensive male escort in Australia.
[19:21] Speaker 1: And then you got spotted with them, and then every
[19:23] Speaker 1: comment online is how much are you paying him?
[19:27] Speaker 2: And I think if you look.
[19:28] Speaker 3: At the comments as well, Marcus is in those comments
[19:32] Speaker 3: saying she's she doesn't, she's not paying me.
[19:35] Speaker 1: And I figured last time I spoke to back and
[19:37] Speaker 1: you would be able to afford it.
[19:38] Speaker 2: I couldn't, literally I couldn't.
[19:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, uh.
[19:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, what do. I What can I say about this.
[19:49] Speaker 3: He's a beautiful human being, one of the kindest men
[19:55] Speaker 3: I know. And I know that you just sort of
[19:57] Speaker 3: refer like reference to he covered in tattoos, and he's
[20:01] Speaker 3: an Englishman till englishman, and him and Danny are nothing alike,
[20:06] Speaker 3: ye at all. What I will say about Marcus is
[20:09] Speaker 3: that he's treated me with nothing but respect and kindness,
[20:13] Speaker 3: and he is a true gentleman. And it's a far
[20:17] Speaker 3: cry from what Danny ever was or is.
[20:21] Speaker 1: But this is early days. It's not a thing, it
[20:25] Speaker 1: is it.
[20:25] Speaker 3: Just Yeah, Look, we've spent a lot of time together
[20:30] Speaker 3: over the course of the last few days I've.
[20:32] Speaker 2: Been in Sydney. We met at a Daily Mail party
[20:34] Speaker 2: a month ago or so.
[20:36] Speaker 1: And have you been talking since then?
[20:38] Speaker 2: Yeah? We talk every day.
[20:40] Speaker 1: Okay, So it's not all right. So look like this
[20:42] Speaker 1: was like a first date there, But if you've known
[20:44] Speaker 1: him from a month someone.
[20:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, look, it would be the first time that we've
[20:47] Speaker 3: hung out. But I don't really know if it's anything anyway,
[20:50] Speaker 3: Like we don't know. I don't know, it's not really anything.
[20:55] Speaker 3: Here's my friend.
[20:57] Speaker 1: I'm going to give you some advice now, okay, And
[20:59] Speaker 1: This is from someone who's worked in this industry and
[21:01] Speaker 1: this scene for many years. When someone comes off maths
[21:04] Speaker 1: like you and you're at your peak of engagement, articles,
[21:08] Speaker 1: press everything, people will try and use you. I don't
[21:14] Speaker 1: know this guy, so I don't know his intention, don't
[21:15] Speaker 1: know anything about him or what you talk about. But
[21:17] Speaker 1: when I saw you tube spotted on a date, my
[21:21] Speaker 1: first thing was, this is a guy I live in
[21:23] Speaker 1: the East summer aware of this flex tiktocky thing he does,
[21:27] Speaker 1: which only has a few thousand followers. It's not a
[21:29] Speaker 1: big thing, but I would say anyone on that wants
[21:32] Speaker 1: to be a bigger thing on the internet. So for
[21:35] Speaker 1: then one person on that to connect with someone who's
[21:37] Speaker 1: in the media every day, do you know what I mean?
[21:41] Speaker 1: Like she warning me, Josh, well, I don't know. I
[21:44] Speaker 1: don't know you're anything about your connection. But my thing
[21:46] Speaker 1: is just be mindful of anyone in your life right now,
[21:50] Speaker 1: whether it's romantic friendship because people will, it's social climbing,
[21:53] Speaker 1: it's it's clout, it's yep that and I've seen this
[21:58] Speaker 1: time and time again year all the way back to
[22:01] Speaker 1: the UK.
[22:02] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's food for thought, it's it's hard, isn't it,
[22:06] Speaker 3: because like it's you know, it's so it's so like
[22:10] Speaker 3: it's such a new thing. But then then you say
[22:13] Speaker 3: that and you think, oh, God, kind of you do?
[22:17] Speaker 3: I do have to keep my eyes wide open. I
[22:19] Speaker 3: think the vibe that I get from Marcus is not
[22:22] Speaker 3: that I think he's been beautiful.
[22:25] Speaker 2: But then again, I I thought Danny loved me.
[22:29] Speaker 3: I'm not the best ructure character, but from what I've
[22:31] Speaker 3: seen so far in the way I've been treated in
[22:34] Speaker 3: this friendship, he's giving off kind and genuine.
[22:43] Speaker 2: But I could be fooled again.
[22:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, just my advice again, have your.
[22:48] Speaker 2: Have my wits about me?
[22:49] Speaker 1: Yeah, because, like I would say, since you guys were
[22:53] Speaker 1: sported this week, that guy has gone viral. He's had articles. Yeah,
[22:57] Speaker 1: and I assume he's getting followers. Yep, that's freakings he
[23:02] Speaker 1: didn't have that he got from you.
[23:04] Speaker 2: Yeah. True.
[23:05] Speaker 1: Again, I don't know the guy. But when I look
[23:08] Speaker 1: back on my career, right, well, I started as paparazzi
[23:11] Speaker 1: at fifteen. By eighteen nineteen, I was doing YouTube, then
[23:13] Speaker 1: got off at a magazine job in London and suddenly
[23:16] Speaker 1: I was on the list for anything in London, like
[23:18] Speaker 1: movie pimis part is because that was part of my
[23:20] Speaker 1: job at the magazine and I was dating at the time,
[23:22] Speaker 1: and so many people would just use me to get
[23:25] Speaker 1: like I took someone to meet Tyler Swift and all
[23:27] Speaker 1: these things, and you think, oh, they like me. No, Like,
[23:30] Speaker 1: I've been used so many times through my job and
[23:32] Speaker 1: the opportunities I can, you know, take people too. And
[23:35] Speaker 1: now I have such a small group of friends. I
[23:38] Speaker 1: don't have many media friends because it's a ruthless industry
[23:43] Speaker 1: that to me, it's not real. And even when I've
[23:45] Speaker 1: been employed at places, I always question people's intentions because
[23:49] Speaker 1: I've always been that person. Any job I've had, I've
[23:51] Speaker 1: always gone above and beyond. I've always tried to over
[23:54] Speaker 1: exceed and I get more attention because I never want
[23:57] Speaker 1: to settle. No, but with that I get moretunities. Therefore, people,
[24:02] Speaker 1: even friends, have tried to use me, ye, which like sucks.
[24:04] Speaker 1: It's why I have a very small circle.
[24:06] Speaker 3: But yeah, just be mindful, be mindful. I have to
[24:09] Speaker 3: go based off of the way I've been treated. I'm
[24:13] Speaker 3: hearing you, I'm listening to you. It would be you know,
[24:19] Speaker 3: it's there's.
[24:20] Speaker 2: No definition on what this is. It's a friendship.
[24:23] Speaker 3: But you're right, But thus far, with the way that
[24:29] Speaker 3: Marcus has treated me in this friendship, in this very
[24:33] Speaker 3: early days, he's been nothing but genuine and kind.
[24:38] Speaker 2: But my eyes are wide open, Josh.
[24:40] Speaker 1: Okay, good because only you know it's your decision. And
[24:46] Speaker 1: then there's the whole second part of that, which is
[24:49] Speaker 1: obviously a sex worker. Yes, and people that follow me
[24:52] Speaker 1: for I why no, I've worked in that industry. I
[24:54] Speaker 1: know many people that have helped them with PR like
[24:56] Speaker 1: I'm fully supportive to the point that my work in
[24:59] Speaker 1: the adult and she last year I won an award
[25:01] Speaker 1: like best Newcomer through all my work with in the
[25:06] Speaker 1: Australian Adult, essentially the Point Awards.
[25:08] Speaker 2: Oh congrats, Josh, I didn't know that.
[25:10] Speaker 3: That's amazing because I've always seen the shame of hearing
[25:12] Speaker 3: your kicking goals all the time.
[25:13] Speaker 2: I love this.
[25:14] Speaker 1: But it was Hailey Vernon years ago, working with her
[25:17] Speaker 1: former math star, who got into that industry. I did
[25:20] Speaker 1: her PR back then and I saw the shame she
[25:22] Speaker 1: got and then we worked balancede in the press and
[25:24] Speaker 1: she's come out the industry. But I learned a lot
[25:26] Speaker 1: about what those creators face and I fully back it.
[25:30] Speaker 1: But then you also see the other side that this guy,
[25:32] Speaker 1: he's an escort, a sex worker. Yep, doesn't mean you
[25:36] Speaker 1: can't have a relationship and love, but then it comes
[25:38] Speaker 1: down to the partner and no offense. You seem quite
[25:42] Speaker 1: insecure on the show. So imagine you end up falling
[25:45] Speaker 1: for someone, you're in a relationship, and then you come
[25:47] Speaker 1: home from work. How was your day, baby, You're back
[25:49] Speaker 1: in sales. He's like, oh yeah, shack four people today.
[25:52] Speaker 3: See, it's quite funny, right, because obviously who knows. Like,
[25:58] Speaker 3: let's let's not even to Marcus for example, right, let's
[26:01] Speaker 3: refer to me in this situation, if we can please.
[26:04] Speaker 3: And it's funny you say that because I did come
[26:06] Speaker 3: across as so insecure, and I did come across as
[26:09] Speaker 3: being untrustworthy of certain things and then overly trusting of
[26:13] Speaker 3: other situations. Right, it's quite a conundrum. I am a conundrum.
[26:17] Speaker 3: I am a walking conundrum. However, in this situation, right,
[26:25] Speaker 3: whether or not it be with Marcus or another sex worker,
[26:29] Speaker 3: I think that for me, you saw my insecurities on
[26:35] Speaker 3: that show because I was being lied to, right, And
[26:38] Speaker 3: I think deep down in my heart and soul and
[26:41] Speaker 3: in my gut. I knew that what I was being
[26:44] Speaker 3: told was not what the reality was. And so had
[26:49] Speaker 3: you matched me with not you had mauch funny. Had
[26:54] Speaker 3: had I been matched with someone who was transparent with
[26:59] Speaker 3: me and to open about their you know, their feelings
[27:04] Speaker 3: and I felt that we had a level of trust
[27:07] Speaker 3: and honesty and transparency and communication in that relationship, you
[27:11] Speaker 3: would have seen a different side to me. And I
[27:14] Speaker 3: think that in this situation that I'm in right now,
[27:17] Speaker 3: which is nothing right. You know, Marcus and I really are.
[27:20] Speaker 3: You know, it's fun, it's good fun. He's fucking hot,
[27:23] Speaker 3: and he's a beautiful human. But if say, for example,
[27:26] Speaker 3: Marks and I would to start dating him, being a
[27:29] Speaker 3: sex worker for me doesn't it. It's not a factor
[27:35] Speaker 3: for me because that's a job. And I don't look
[27:37] Speaker 3: at the job. I look at the person. But if
[27:40] Speaker 3: I was to get into a relationship with an escort,
[27:45] Speaker 3: it would merely be that you'd have to have trust
[27:47] Speaker 3: and communication in that relationship for me to be okay.
[27:50] Speaker 3: And I didn't have that with Danny, And that's why
[27:53] Speaker 3: you saw the worst of me. I was being gastly
[27:56] Speaker 3: behind the scenes. Anytime that I wanted to bring up
[27:58] Speaker 3: an issue with Danny. If he didn't like what I
[28:02] Speaker 3: was saying, it would be twisted and it would be
[28:05] Speaker 3: my fault. And so you saw me spiraling into this
[28:08] Speaker 3: like person, whereas as a general day to day human being,
[28:13] Speaker 3: I'm pretty level headed and I'm pretty calm, and I'm
[28:16] Speaker 3: actually open.
[28:17] Speaker 2: Like I'm an open human being.
[28:18] Speaker 3: I don't discriminate against people for their jobs, for what
[28:23] Speaker 3: they do, or you know, how they speak and how
[28:26] Speaker 3: they choose to you know, hold themselves.
[28:28] Speaker 2: Maybe if you dress that shit, I might tell you.
[28:30] Speaker 3: But like other than that, if you've got good communication
[28:34] Speaker 3: and you can see that the heart and the soul
[28:36] Speaker 3: of that person is transparent and authentic, then I'm not insecure.
[28:41] Speaker 3: It's about talking and being open. And if I was
[28:45] Speaker 3: to be in a relationship with an escort, Marcus or
[28:47] Speaker 3: anyone else, you know, I would need that and if
[28:49] Speaker 3: I had that authenticity and that communication, we would be fine.
[28:53] Speaker 1: So yeah, fair, Yeah, this is funny because you talk
[28:59] Speaker 1: about contravert see your maps, but this has a potential relationship.
[29:03] Speaker 1: It almost feels like this is the biggest social question
[29:06] Speaker 1: that every single person listening right now is going to
[29:09] Speaker 1: have a very strong opinion and me personally. Around this
[29:14] Speaker 1: time last year, I did a thing where I was
[29:16] Speaker 1: dating someone who was an Only Fans creator. This guy
[29:19] Speaker 1: was great, lovely, but his career and then he wasn't
[29:23] Speaker 1: like solo content just like winking off. He was doing
[29:26] Speaker 1: what collapse, which is essentially filling fucking other people. And
[29:30] Speaker 1: at the start, I was like, Oh, we'll cross that
[29:32] Speaker 1: when we get to it. But as I developed more feelings,
[29:35] Speaker 1: I realized me as a person, despite being so supportive
[29:38] Speaker 1: of that industry, I was like, I can't be with
[29:42] Speaker 1: someone because I am too insecure.
[29:45] Speaker 3: But was that because you weren't getting like? Can I
[29:49] Speaker 3: ask you this? So, so you were dating someone who
[29:55] Speaker 3: was an OnlyFans creator and then obviously, as you say,
[29:58] Speaker 3: but then when they were coming home, were they giving
[30:00] Speaker 3: you that affection and that attention and that intimacy that
[30:04] Speaker 3: you were seeking.
[30:05] Speaker 2: Was that lacking and that's why you have an.
[30:07] Speaker 1: Issue with that they were but but you just did
[30:10] Speaker 1: you still want to share?
[30:11] Speaker 2: Babe?
[30:11] Speaker 1: Yeah? I was jealous, and also I value monogamy. And
[30:14] Speaker 1: it's funny because in the gay world most relationships are
[30:18] Speaker 1: open these days, which I never want ye And then
[30:20] Speaker 1: technically we weren't open because that was his job. He
[30:23] Speaker 1: wasn't just fucking people for fun and going I'm gonna
[30:26] Speaker 1: hook up with this and on the apps. It was.
[30:29] Speaker 1: It was a mind fuck for me.
[30:31] Speaker 2: So because I.
[30:32] Speaker 3: Want to challenge you on that, right because in my mind, right,
[30:36] Speaker 3: if I was to day an escort, any escort, but
[30:39] Speaker 3: if I was to day an escort and we were
[30:41] Speaker 3: in a relationship, in my mind, that relationship would be
[30:44] Speaker 3: monogamous because I would compartmentalize the fact that there was
[30:48] Speaker 3: but there was, you know, the the act of going
[30:51] Speaker 3: to work and doing that as a job and then
[30:54] Speaker 3: coming home and being in a monogamous, monogamous relationship. Did
[30:58] Speaker 3: that did you look at that? It like that at
[31:01] Speaker 3: the beginning and then it changed for you.
[31:03] Speaker 1: I didn't know now full extent at the time. Yeah,
[31:08] Speaker 1: it was a whole weird thing. And again the guy
[31:10] Speaker 1: was great, Stephan like, still have a bad thing to say,
[31:14] Speaker 1: but yeah, we did content together. Yeah, And so we
[31:18] Speaker 1: also had a lot of public corresponse and commentary because
[31:22] Speaker 1: we were kind of blowing up on TikTok and at
[31:24] Speaker 1: the time when I thought could I deal with this,
[31:28] Speaker 1: I was then getting commentary from just people being like
[31:31] Speaker 1: I've just watched your your boyfriend for two people in
[31:34] Speaker 1: the bed you sleeping from the content. Then I felt
[31:37] Speaker 1: like we're walking down the street together. Then I was like,
[31:39] Speaker 1: are people looking at us? Do they have they watched
[31:41] Speaker 1: these content? Are they thinking what a fool Josh is?
[31:44] Speaker 1: And like, imagine, say, for example, this Marcus did you
[31:46] Speaker 1: six months time? He's your boyfriend, you live together. Imagine
[31:49] Speaker 1: you've had a bad day, You're feeling a bit like, oh,
[31:51] Speaker 1: I just want to put it on the couch and
[31:53] Speaker 1: watch that. You're feeling a bit needy as we all get.
[31:55] Speaker 1: And then he's like, so, bab, I've got an overlae
[31:57] Speaker 1: booking when you put it in these real situations, yea, yeah, of.
[32:01] Speaker 3: Course, yeah, that would that would be challenging. It would
[32:04] Speaker 3: be challenge that would that would be challenging?
[32:06] Speaker 2: Of course? Fuck me.
[32:09] Speaker 3: I mean we're not dating, so but but I mean,
[32:12] Speaker 3: who knows what we are to be fair, yeah, that
[32:16] Speaker 3: would be challenging. But again, I refer to communication in
[32:20] Speaker 3: a relationship. I value that over anything now, emotional maturity
[32:25] Speaker 3: and availability and communication after maths. I know that I
[32:28] Speaker 3: will never date someone who doesn't have the ability to
[32:31] Speaker 3: have an open and communicative conversation with me because I
[32:36] Speaker 3: just can't you saw the worst of me because I
[32:38] Speaker 3: wasn't getting that.
[32:39] Speaker 2: So, you know, look in the event, in the.
[32:42] Speaker 3: World of Bez, who dates in escort, whoever that may be.
[32:50] Speaker 3: You know, we would have to cross that bridge when
[32:51] Speaker 3: it came to it. But I understand what you're saying
[32:53] Speaker 3: to me. I understand what you're saying to me about
[32:55] Speaker 3: the fact that Marcus might be using me for clout.
[32:58] Speaker 3: I don't think he is, but then and again we're
[33:00] Speaker 3: not who knows anyway, But I do think that as
[33:07] Speaker 3: a general rule of dating and escort.
[33:08] Speaker 2: And I think it's an important.
[33:09] Speaker 3: Conversation to have because you know, this man's coming too
[33:11] Speaker 3: my life now and I adore him.
[33:12] Speaker 2: I think he's a beautiful human being.
[33:14] Speaker 3: I look past the fact that what he does for
[33:16] Speaker 3: a job because I see him for who he is.
[33:19] Speaker 3: But it's a pretty important conversation to have because I
[33:22] Speaker 3: think the Only Fans platform is growing and growing and growing.
[33:25] Speaker 3: There's more people out there who are sex workers essentially,
[33:28] Speaker 3: and there's you know, I can't imagine that all Only
[33:30] Speaker 3: Fans people date other Only Fans people, you know, So
[33:33] Speaker 3: it's an important conversation to have. But I think that
[33:35] Speaker 3: it comes down to communication and authenticity and making sure
[33:39] Speaker 3: that you know you you know.
[33:41] Speaker 2: You set boundaries. If I was to day an escort.
[33:44] Speaker 3: You know, it would be like, okay, babe, you know
[33:46] Speaker 3: when you get a job and if you you know,
[33:48] Speaker 3: if you get a job booked in and whatnot and
[33:51] Speaker 3: it's an overnight, you know, I need to know about that,
[33:54] Speaker 3: you know, not not two hours before.
[33:57] Speaker 2: But like, you know, But I think that it's all relative.
[33:59] Speaker 3: To to the way in which your relationship is.
[34:03] Speaker 1: You know, six or seven weeks ago and you were
[34:05] Speaker 1: sat yourself and never did think this is the conversation
[34:08] Speaker 1: we'd be happening. And I reckon mass producers, if they
[34:11] Speaker 1: listen to this, are like, oh fuck, what a great
[34:14] Speaker 1: storyline for next season.
[34:16] Speaker 3: I've had mass producers messaging me being like, are you Scot,
[34:20] Speaker 3: I don't know what we're talking about.
[34:22] Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised. And I said this about your season.
[34:26] Speaker 1: I said last year, I think this is going to
[34:29] Speaker 1: be a storyline at some point where someone is actively
[34:32] Speaker 1: working in the sex industry, and it's this moral question
[34:37] Speaker 1: within yourself. Can you accept that?
[34:39] Speaker 3: All?
[34:40] Speaker 1: Right? Next part of this is I have some more
[34:42] Speaker 1: advice for you, but also like kind of the rest
[34:45] Speaker 1: of the cast. Okay, because I did a podcast recently
[34:48] Speaker 1: where I spoke about an article about Gea, and I
[34:50] Speaker 1: don't want to go into Gea and drama. I don't
[34:52] Speaker 1: really care in the nice way whether you guys are friends,
[34:55] Speaker 1: are fighting, or what the latest is. We've moved on,
[34:58] Speaker 1: no offense.
[34:58] Speaker 2: We're not friends anyway.
[34:59] Speaker 1: Yeah, but I read the article and it was clearly
[35:02] Speaker 1: from her publicist, and it was just all these source
[35:05] Speaker 1: quotes of she's the most in demand, she's the best
[35:07] Speaker 1: thing from maths in years casting shows of fighting. And
[35:11] Speaker 1: I said in that pod, where we're at in society
[35:14] Speaker 1: and how we consume news and social media, it's not
[35:17] Speaker 1: that would have worked ten years ago, maybe five years ago.
[35:20] Speaker 1: Everyone would have gone, oh my god, I'd go to work,
[35:21] Speaker 1: Oh my god, Gee is the most in demand. She's
[35:23] Speaker 1: gonna be on five news shows, like because we believe
[35:25] Speaker 1: the media now, we don't trust articles because we have
[35:30] Speaker 1: direct access TikTok live. We just do you know what
[35:33] Speaker 1: I mean? And then my advice, I suppose it was
[35:36] Speaker 1: more for jear if she's listening, is but you as
[35:38] Speaker 1: well at this point in your life, your hot property,
[35:41] Speaker 1: and it circles back to Marcus where you're gonna have
[35:44] Speaker 1: these offers. You're gonna have publicists like this is a
[35:46] Speaker 1: good article. Let's put this out there. This is take
[35:49] Speaker 1: this collab with a controversial company which you might not
[35:52] Speaker 1: align with the but like, oh, it will get your
[35:54] Speaker 1: loads to press. It will every time someone does something,
[35:57] Speaker 1: even if someone a journalist goes this idea for a
[36:00] Speaker 1: set of pat pictures, it will get everyone talking. You
[36:03] Speaker 1: got viral. All these things you're not going to gain from,
[36:06] Speaker 1: everyone else gains from. And then at the end of
[36:08] Speaker 1: the day, like the article for Gear, I judged it
[36:11] Speaker 1: like oh, just when you think maybe she's going to
[36:12] Speaker 1: do something, I'll show a different side. I'm now like
[36:15] Speaker 1: this feels well, it.
[36:16] Speaker 3: Feels a little bit like it was more for Max
[36:17] Speaker 3: Marx and than it was for Jeer.
[36:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, and like this is the thing I suppose So
[36:22] Speaker 1: for a yeah you Gear anyone. Yeah, when all these
[36:26] Speaker 1: people come a year with ideas, don't just go yeah
[36:29] Speaker 1: because you think they know, because only you know what's
[36:31] Speaker 1: best for your name. Yeah, because Max Mix's and really
[36:35] Speaker 1: good advice jobs, He's not going to be the one
[36:36] Speaker 1: who gets laughed at it's geer.
[36:40] Speaker 3: Well, yeah, and I think I think it's funny you
[36:42] Speaker 3: say that because you know, Jera and I don't have
[36:45] Speaker 3: a relationship. We don't talk, but I do know from
[36:48] Speaker 3: you know, people that she speaks to and whatnot, that,
[36:50] Speaker 3: you know, the expectation after being managed her getting management
[36:55] Speaker 3: was that there would be a lot more happening, and
[36:57] Speaker 3: there's not much. I can't you know, this is just hearsay,
[37:01] Speaker 3: you know, don't quote me on it and whatnot, but
[37:04] Speaker 3: I think that the expectation of you know, you come
[37:09] Speaker 3: off maths, You're going to be famous, You're going to
[37:11] Speaker 3: have all these brands reaching out to you. It's going
[37:13] Speaker 3: to be great. You're gonna have all these deals and this,
[37:15] Speaker 3: that and the other. That's not the reality of it. It's
[37:17] Speaker 3: a lot harder. I was speaking to Tony from last
[37:19] Speaker 3: season last night about it, and you know, people think
[37:22] Speaker 3: I'm going to be famous, I'm going to be rich,
[37:24] Speaker 3: I'm going to get a following, I'm going to have
[37:26] Speaker 3: these jobs, I'm going to be in demand, and that's
[37:28] Speaker 3: just not the reality anymore. And you're right, it's actually
[37:31] Speaker 3: a really good conversation to have because I do get
[37:34] Speaker 3: approached by people, Hey, do you want to do this,
[37:36] Speaker 3: Let's take photos here, Let's do this, Let's do that.
[37:38] Speaker 3: Oh do you want to go into a pretend romance
[37:40] Speaker 3: with you know, one of the other casts, and you know,
[37:42] Speaker 3: we'll pay you two grand for these photos for this magazine.
[37:45] Speaker 3: It's like I've sat back a lot and thought, Okay, well,
[37:50] Speaker 3: you know, what's this going to do for me? But
[37:55] Speaker 3: I probably in the desperation of needing money, which I'm
[37:59] Speaker 3: still in, Josh, I'm not I'm not by any I'm happier, definitely,
[38:02] Speaker 3: and I feel better and I look better and all
[38:05] Speaker 3: of that, but I'm still struggling.
[38:06] Speaker 2: It's not easy. You know, I'm just paying my rent.
[38:11] Speaker 3: But you know, in those times, your your message is
[38:16] Speaker 3: actually really valid, because there has been times where if
[38:20] Speaker 3: someone offered me, like someone just just DMed me and said,
[38:24] Speaker 3: we'll give you six grand to promote a gambling brand.
[38:27] Speaker 3: And the thing is is that Chris Neild is a
[38:30] Speaker 3: very good friend of mine, one of my closest, and
[38:33] Speaker 3: I'm so proud of him because he is he gambled
[38:35] Speaker 3: for fifteen years, five hundred thousand dollars he would have
[38:38] Speaker 3: spent on gambling, right spending his life on gambling, and
[38:43] Speaker 3: I could I could really use that six grand right now,
[38:46] Speaker 3: like it would it would be it would be really
[38:49] Speaker 3: really changing for me. But out of principle, why would
[38:53] Speaker 3: I go and promote a gambling brand when one of
[38:57] Speaker 3: my best friends has just spent one hundred and feetsty
[39:00] Speaker 3: days not gambling after fifteen years, just for a few
[39:05] Speaker 3: grand to tide me over. I think it's really important
[39:08] Speaker 3: that your message is important to look and work out
[39:11] Speaker 3: what does align with you and don't just take everything,
[39:14] Speaker 3: but also think about the long term effects. Because people
[39:17] Speaker 3: are coming out to me being like, oh, you're being
[39:19] Speaker 3: seen with an escort. It's going to be bad for you.
[39:21] Speaker 3: I don't care because I know who he is as
[39:23] Speaker 3: a human being. But when it comes down to you know,
[39:27] Speaker 3: people telling you this is going to be really good
[39:29] Speaker 3: for you and you're going to make this and you're
[39:30] Speaker 3: going to do this, you're right. It's not like that,
[39:33] Speaker 3: and you need to work out whether or not it's
[39:37] Speaker 3: the right course for you.
[39:39] Speaker 1: Yeah, all of these people, all these journalists, paparazzi, yep, advertisers, agencies, publicists,
[39:45] Speaker 1: they don't care about your long time. They see a
[39:48] Speaker 1: free month window to a cash grub and as the
[39:49] Speaker 1: public stop carrying, they move on.
[39:52] Speaker 3: You know, I think it's a sad state of affairs,
[39:54] Speaker 3: to be honest with you, Josh, because I feel like
[39:56] Speaker 3: I've learned that with every aspect of math with my husband,
[40:02] Speaker 3: they don't care about your long term. He wanted to
[40:04] Speaker 3: get to he wanted fame. He hasn't really got that
[40:07] Speaker 3: as he's just a dog. But you know, there's a
[40:11] Speaker 3: handful of producers from that show that I love and
[40:14] Speaker 3: will be in my life forever.
[40:15] Speaker 2: They know who they are, but as a wider.
[40:18] Speaker 3: Spectrum the show's over, you don't hear from them nothing.
[40:22] Speaker 3: You know. Then you've also got you know, people like
[40:24] Speaker 3: magazines and stuff like that. You know, when it was
[40:27] Speaker 3: filming and it was airing, they're on the phone to
[40:29] Speaker 3: you all the time, Hey babe, how are you?
[40:31] Speaker 2: What can we do? What's this? What's that?
[40:33] Speaker 1: We're going to give you so much? Afterwards you're going
[40:35] Speaker 1: to be a star, and then suddenly you don't have
[40:36] Speaker 1: and then again it's done.
[40:38] Speaker 3: And you know that could even be you know, as
[40:40] Speaker 3: you say, in potential new relationships and whatnot.
[40:43] Speaker 2: With people as well.
[40:44] Speaker 3: I think the sad part of it is is that
[40:47] Speaker 3: you know your trust is very faulted after this because
[40:52] Speaker 3: you promised everything and everything and promised and promised and promised,
[40:55] Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden it's gone. And you
[40:58] Speaker 3: know it's relevant in every aspect of this show and
[41:01] Speaker 3: in showbiz. If no one can see me right now,
[41:04] Speaker 3: I'm doing what inverted converted comments, you know, like you
[41:07] Speaker 3: know the showbiz world, it's it's pretty dire or it's pretty.
[41:13] Speaker 2: Blak, isn't it when you look at it like that? Fuck?
[41:15] Speaker 1: And also, you guys need to remember that years ago,
[41:18] Speaker 1: being on websites and magazine websites felt like the biggest
[41:22] Speaker 1: thing and that's what you need. And I see it
[41:24] Speaker 1: every year that you guys almost like, say you get
[41:26] Speaker 1: five articles this week, someone's going to do something on
[41:29] Speaker 1: to get themselves some more articles. Well back scot more.
[41:31] Speaker 1: Those articles mean nothing because they don't those brands don't
[41:34] Speaker 1: have the trust on the power they want. Did your
[41:37] Speaker 1: socials and if you don't go viral you personally now
[41:39] Speaker 1: for another two weeks, it doesn't matter because those smaller
[41:43] Speaker 1: numbers are the people that care about you.
[41:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, and do you know what that's the funny thing, right,
[41:47] Speaker 3: everyone's like are you okay? And I'm like I'm fantastic,
[41:51] Speaker 3: thank you. And I appreciate the genuine concern of people,
[41:55] Speaker 3: but also other people like bet like I ran into
[41:57] Speaker 3: this girl yesterday. These two people they were beautif for
[42:00] Speaker 3: they were big fans and you know, I was at
[42:03] Speaker 3: revces VCS in Bondi and these two beautiful human beings,
[42:10] Speaker 3: a guy and a girl, came up and they were
[42:12] Speaker 3: just so beautiful. And then their friend from work came
[42:15] Speaker 3: up and she was like who are you? And I
[42:17] Speaker 3: was like I'm back. And she's like, well, I don't
[42:20] Speaker 3: know you. What do you do And I was like nothing, darling.
[42:23] Speaker 3: She's like, well, like you were on maps and I
[42:25] Speaker 3: was like yeah. And then she was like, so how
[42:27] Speaker 3: do you make any money? Like what do you do
[42:28] Speaker 3: for a job. I said I don't have a job,
[42:30] Speaker 3: and she said to me, well how do you make money?
[42:32] Speaker 3: I said, I've got a really rich family, like I.
[42:35] Speaker 3: I was just pissing her off and she's like looking
[42:37] Speaker 3: at me up and down, glaring at me, and she
[42:40] Speaker 3: was like, so what do you just want to be
[42:41] Speaker 3: an influencer? And I was like no, and she was like, well,
[42:46] Speaker 3: I've seen you don't have that many followers, and I thought,
[42:48] Speaker 3: you know exactly who I am. You're actually coming up
[42:50] Speaker 3: to me and being overtly rude to me for no reason.
[42:53] Speaker 3: I was nothing but kind to you. You took a
[42:55] Speaker 3: photo with me. But also the following situation. I've got
[43:00] Speaker 3: sixty seven thousand people. I started with eighteen hundred. But
[43:04] Speaker 3: those sixty seven thousand people are following me, and they
[43:07] Speaker 3: are supporting me, and I get one in every twenty
[43:12] Speaker 3: messages is mean now And the majority of those people
[43:15] Speaker 3: that message me that mean messages don't follow me.
[43:18] Speaker 2: But that community.
[43:19] Speaker 3: I don't care that, you know, Alisa's got one hundred
[43:22] Speaker 3: and ten thousand, I don't care that Stella's got whatever,
[43:25] Speaker 3: Rachel's got one hundred thousand. Those sixty seven thousand people
[43:28] Speaker 3: mean the world to me because that's my community, and
[43:31] Speaker 3: those people are invested in me, my life, and they're
[43:35] Speaker 3: kind enough to follow. All of them might not love me,
[43:37] Speaker 3: but they still follow me, And so it doesn't really matter.
[43:40] Speaker 3: It doesn't matter how many bloody followers you've got. If
[43:44] Speaker 3: you've got a community around you, that's all that matters. Right,
[43:47] Speaker 3: You've got people that are writing beautiful comments. I went
[43:50] Speaker 3: through three months of people telling me how disgusting I was,
[43:53] Speaker 3: how ugly I am, how shit I am, how I
[43:55] Speaker 3: don't deserve anything. I should jump off bridges. But now
[43:59] Speaker 3: with this little community that I've got on Instagram and TikTok,
[44:03] Speaker 3: I'm getting so much love and I just I just
[44:06] Speaker 3: couldn't be more grateful for it, no matter how many
[44:08] Speaker 3: of them there are.
[44:09] Speaker 1: You know, and it's a common misconception that followers means everything.
[44:13] Speaker 1: It's not, and brand it means nothing because everyone they
[44:17] Speaker 1: look at engagement, what the commentary is, what the public responses.
[44:21] Speaker 2: It means nothing.
[44:22] Speaker 1: Like I'd rather if I'm looking for someone who's got
[44:24] Speaker 1: five hundred thousand followers versus you, we've bought sixty something thousand.
[44:29] Speaker 1: If that person with five hundred thousand, and everyone comments
[44:31] Speaker 1: shit like oh you're this year that we don't like you,
[44:33] Speaker 1: redo't Trisha plush you everyone who backshit, that's who you're
[44:37] Speaker 1: going to go with.
[44:37] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[44:38] Speaker 1: So again, I suppose my final point of all this
[44:40] Speaker 1: to you and everyone is only you know where you
[44:43] Speaker 1: want to be in a year's time, two years time,
[44:45] Speaker 1: if you want to build a career, if you want
[44:46] Speaker 1: to make money. There's so many people who are going
[44:49] Speaker 1: to want quick hits to make money. Even do you
[44:52] Speaker 1: remember a few weeks ago you filmed me and I
[44:54] Speaker 1: don't remember what Danny had said something or someone had
[44:56] Speaker 1: said to and you were like, oh, I want some
[44:57] Speaker 1: money's advice. I want to set the record straight. Should
[44:59] Speaker 1: it comment, I'll do a TikTok or comment a pod
[45:02] Speaker 1: and I yep. And I could have, because I would,
[45:04] Speaker 1: I would have gone viral.
[45:05] Speaker 3: I f you.
[45:06] Speaker 1: I said, yeah, come on my pot and we'll we'll
[45:08] Speaker 1: tell them. And I could have had that moment only
[45:10] Speaker 1: I would have gained. You would and everyone would have
[45:11] Speaker 1: just gonna get over it, move on. I just said,
[45:14] Speaker 1: thank you for that advice, the way give it.
[45:17] Speaker 3: I rang you and I was like, Josh, this is
[45:18] Speaker 3: what he's saying. It's defamatory. I don't know what to
[45:21] Speaker 3: do about it. I know that you're going to be
[45:23] Speaker 3: honest with me. And it's funny, isn't it, because we've
[45:26] Speaker 3: only really met each other three times?
[45:27] Speaker 2: But I do trust you.
[45:28] Speaker 3: I think that you are very, very transparent and truthful
[45:31] Speaker 3: in your delivery of things, and your advice that you
[45:34] Speaker 3: gave me was.
[45:37] Speaker 2: Right.
[45:38] Speaker 1: Just move on, Just leave it.
[45:39] Speaker 2: Let him dig his own hole be thefamatory about me.
[45:42] Speaker 3: The people that love me know that I would never
[45:44] Speaker 3: do that, and the people that don't can believe.
[45:47] Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
[45:49] Speaker 1: I know, having worked in the media, if one of
[45:51] Speaker 1: those people from a magazine is something you asked them,
[45:54] Speaker 1: oh a bit different story, they would have then blew
[45:56] Speaker 1: it up to it a thing. Danny would have responded.
[45:58] Speaker 1: Someone else the public who were following it, like oh God,
[46:01] Speaker 1: move on both for you. And when you start to
[46:03] Speaker 1: build this new me post muffs what I do, what
[46:05] Speaker 1: I stand for, it kind of has damaged that because
[46:08] Speaker 1: everyone's now going, oh, she's not changed, She's there. Yeah.
[46:12] Speaker 2: And do you know what.
[46:12] Speaker 3: The one thing that I will say about the content
[46:14] Speaker 3: that I put out, which is like just me and
[46:17] Speaker 3: my little camera like my Samsung phone can anyway, if
[46:19] Speaker 3: anyone wants to like sponsor me for an iPhone, I'd
[46:22] Speaker 3: be very grateful. But you know, even me with my content,
[46:26] Speaker 3: I don't put out content of.
[46:29] Speaker 2: Me being mean about Danny.
[46:32] Speaker 3: Or other people or anything like that. It's literally me
[46:35] Speaker 3: eating food and showing you what I'm wearing and.
[46:38] Speaker 2: You know, just little insights into my life.
[46:41] Speaker 3: Like it's not about like I'm being one hundred percent
[46:45] Speaker 3: authentically me in those situations. And yeah, I think that
[46:50] Speaker 3: it's you know, you can see people say, oh they
[46:52] Speaker 3: watch just want fame and this that and the other.
[46:53] Speaker 3: But I think you can see the people that are
[46:55] Speaker 3: looking for the clout and the people that aren't. And
[46:57] Speaker 3: I'm definitely not someone that's sitting there going look at me.
[47:00] Speaker 3: Math's this math stat because you know, fuck you, Danny
[47:04] Speaker 3: and this that and the other. It's just like, this
[47:06] Speaker 3: is my life and if you like me, follow it.
[47:07] Speaker 3: If you don't see ya, you know my why not.
[47:11] Speaker 1: It's a great with that in the podcast.
