[1:13] Speaker 1: you hear a little wave like sound in the background tonight,
[1:17] Speaker 1: don't worry. That's just our special ocean ambience playing softly
[1:23] Speaker 1: to set the mood for tonight's story. Let it wash
[1:26] Speaker 1: over you like a gentle sea breeze. Now settle in,
[1:34] Speaker 1: get cozy under your blankets, and let your eyelids grow
[1:40] Speaker 1: just a little bit heavier as we drift away together
[1:45] Speaker 1: to a quiet bay where the water whisper secrets only
[1:52] Speaker 1: the heart can hear. Once upon a time, on a
[1:56] Speaker 1: stretch of coastline, where the cliffs curved life sleeping giants,
[2:02] Speaker 1: and the sand was soft as powdered sugar, there lived
[2:06] Speaker 1: a young sea otter named Marina. Marina had the fluffiest
[2:12] Speaker 1: brown fur you ever did see, bright curious eyes, the
[2:18] Speaker 1: color of warm honey, and the tiniest pink nose that
[2:23] Speaker 1: was always always twitching with wonder. Marina lived with her
[2:28] Speaker 1: mamma in a cozy little nook between two smooth rocks,
[2:34] Speaker 1: lined with soft seaweed that smelled like salt and sunshine.
[2:43] Speaker 1: Every morning, she would float on her back in the
[2:46] Speaker 1: calm bay water, cracking open her favorite shells with a
[2:52] Speaker 1: special rock she kept tucked under her arm, watching the
[2:58] Speaker 1: clouds drift by like cotton candy castles in the sky.
[3:03] Speaker 1: But Marina's favorite thing in the whole world, even more
[3:08] Speaker 1: than her breakfast mussels, was exploring. She would paddle her
[3:15] Speaker 1: little webbed feet through the water, poking her nose into
[3:21] Speaker 1: every crack and crevice along the rocky shore. She loved
[3:28] Speaker 1: the way the ocean felt against her fur, cool and silky.
[3:35] Speaker 1: She loved the tickle of sea foam on her belly,
[3:39] Speaker 1: and the way the sunlight scattered across the water like
[3:44] Speaker 1: a thousand tiny diamonds. One evening, just as the sky
[3:50] Speaker 1: was turning the color of peach jam, and the first
[3:53] Speaker 1: star blinked awake overhead, Marina was swimming along a part
[3:59] Speaker 1: of the shop she had never explored before. The rocks
[4:05] Speaker 1: here were taller, covered in fuzzy green moss, and tiny
[4:10] Speaker 1: barnacles that looked like miniature castles. The air smelled of
[4:16] Speaker 1: brine and something sweet, like the ocean was baking cookies
[4:21] Speaker 1: just for her. And then she heard it. It was soft,
[4:27] Speaker 1: so soft she almost missed it, a low, humming sound,
[4:33] Speaker 1: like a lullaby being sung by the water itself. It
[4:38] Speaker 1: came from behind a curtain of hanging seaweed that swayed
[4:42] Speaker 1: gently in the tide, green and gold and shimmering. Marina's
[4:49] Speaker 1: little heart thumped with excitement. She ducked beneath the seaweed
[4:54] Speaker 1: curtain and found herself in the most magical place she
[4:58] Speaker 1: had ever seen. It was a hidden tide pool, a
[5:02] Speaker 1: perfect little world of water tucked between the rocks, no
[5:07] Speaker 1: bigger than a bath tub, but oh, it was extraordinary.
[5:13] Speaker 1: The water glowed a gentle turquoise, and inside it were
[5:19] Speaker 1: tiny starfish the color of sunset, and little crabs with
[5:24] Speaker 1: shells painted in stripes of red and white, and anemonies
[5:29] Speaker 1: that waved their soft purple tentacles like they were saying hello.
[5:34] Speaker 1: The rocks around the pool were smooth and warm, covered
[5:40] Speaker 1: in a carpet of emerald moss so thick it felt
[5:45] Speaker 1: like velvet under Marina's paws. And the humming the singing
[5:52] Speaker 1: was coming from the pool itself. Rinina lean closer, her
[5:57] Speaker 1: whiskers almost touching the water's surface. The song was gentle
[6:03] Speaker 1: and ancient, like a grandmother humming while she braids her
[6:08] Speaker 1: grandchild's hair. It made Marina's whole body feel warm and peaceful,
[6:16] Speaker 1: like being wrapped in the coziest blanket in the universe.
[6:21] Speaker 1: My mind said a slow, deep voice from below the surface.
[6:28] Speaker 1: It has been a very long time since any one
[6:31] Speaker 1: has come to listen. Marina nearly tumbled backward with surprise.
[6:37] Speaker 1: Rising from the turquoise water came the most magnificent creature
[6:42] Speaker 1: she had ever seen. He was an octopus, enormous and
[6:48] Speaker 1: gentle looking, with skin the deep purple of a twilight sky.
[6:54] Speaker 1: His eight arms moved gracefully through the water, like ribbons
[6:58] Speaker 1: in a breeze, and his eyes were large and kind,
[7:03] Speaker 1: the color of golden amber. My name is Octavius, he said,
[7:10] Speaker 1: settling one of his long arms on the edge of
[7:14] Speaker 1: the tide pool. And you, little one, have found the
[7:20] Speaker 1: whispering tide, the whispering tide. Marina whispered, her eyes wide
[7:29] Speaker 1: as sand dollars Hoptavius nodded slowly, his tentacles rippling. This
[7:36] Speaker 1: pool has been singing for hundreds and hundreds of years.
[7:42] Speaker 1: It carries the stories of the entire ocean, every wave,
[7:48] Speaker 1: every creature, every moonlight night. The water remembers everything, and
[7:55] Speaker 1: if you listen, very, very carefully, it will share its
[8:00] Speaker 1: stories with you. Marina's heart fluttered like a jellyfish in
[8:05] Speaker 1: a currant. Can I hear them? You already are, Octavius said,
[8:12] Speaker 1: with a warm smile. You simply need to be still.
[8:17] Speaker 1: So Marina nestled herself on the warm, mossy rock, tucked
[8:23] Speaker 1: her paws beneath her chin, and closed her eyes. At first,
[8:29] Speaker 1: all she heard was the soft lapping of water against stone.
[8:36] Speaker 1: But then, slowly, like the sun rising over the sea,
[8:42] Speaker 1: the sounds began to take shape. She heard the deep,
[8:45] Speaker 1: joyful song of a mother wail singing to her baby
[8:50] Speaker 1: calf as they glided through the deep blue waters of
[8:55] Speaker 1: the open ocean. The song was low and rumbling, and
[9:01] Speaker 1: it made the water around Marina vibrate with warm The
[9:06] Speaker 1: mother whale sang about the great adventures they would have,
[9:11] Speaker 1: riding currents that wrapped around the whole earth, visiting coral
[9:17] Speaker 1: reefs as colorful as rainbows, and watching the moon paint
[9:22] Speaker 1: silver ribbons across the sea at night. Then the song shifted,
[9:27] Speaker 1: and Marina heard the soft, tinkling laughter of jellyfish, hundreds
[9:34] Speaker 1: of them, dancing together in the moonlight, their translucent bells
[9:39] Speaker 1: pulsing with soft pink and blue light. They moved like ballerinas,
[9:46] Speaker 1: drifting and spinning in the gentle current, trailing their long,
[9:52] Speaker 1: delicate tentacles behind them like wedding veils made of starlight.
[9:57] Speaker 1: They told stories of the deep place where the water
[10:01] Speaker 1: was so dark and quiet that you could hear your
[10:04] Speaker 1: own heart beat echoing off the ocean floor. And then
[10:10] Speaker 1: Marina's breath caught. She heard the moon the tidepool hummed
[10:15] Speaker 1: a melody so beautiful, so vast and silver, that Marina
[10:22] Speaker 1: felt it in her very bones. It was the story
[10:28] Speaker 1: of the moon and the ocean's great ancient friendship. Every
[10:35] Speaker 1: night the moon reached down with invisible arms and gently
[10:41] Speaker 1: pulled the water toward the shore, and every morning it
[10:47] Speaker 1: let the water drift back home again. The tide rose
[10:51] Speaker 1: and fell like the ocean was breathing in and out,
[10:57] Speaker 1: in and out, a rhythm as old as the world itself.
[11:04] Speaker 1: The moon whispered that it would never stop, that it
[11:08] Speaker 1: would keep pulling the tides forever and ever, because that
[11:14] Speaker 1: is what love does. It keeps showing up, it keeps
[11:20] Speaker 1: reaching out. Marina opened her eyes. They were wet with
[11:24] Speaker 1: tiny tears, not sad tears, but the kind that come
[11:30] Speaker 1: when your heart is so full it overflows. Just a little, Octavius,
[11:38] Speaker 1: she said softly, I've lived in this bay my whole life,
[11:43] Speaker 1: but I never knew the ocean held so many stories.
[11:47] Speaker 1: The wise old octopus smiled and his amber eyes twinkled.
[11:54] Speaker 1: The ocean is full of stories, Marina, just like your
[11:59] Speaker 1: heart is full of love. And do you know what
[12:03] Speaker 1: I have learned in all my many years. Marina shook
[12:08] Speaker 1: her head. Home is not just a place, Octavius said gently,
[12:14] Speaker 1: Home is where your heart feels peaceful and loved. I
[12:20] Speaker 1: have traveled to every corner of the sea, through coral
[12:25] Speaker 1: kingdoms and kelp forests, across sandy deserts, beneath the waves,
[12:32] Speaker 1: and into deep dark trenches where strange creatures glow like lanterns.
[12:40] Speaker 1: But I always come back here to this little tide pool,
[12:45] Speaker 1: because this is where I first felt the ocean's song
[12:49] Speaker 1: in my heart. Marina looked around at the hidden tide pool,
[12:54] Speaker 1: the glowing water, the waving anemones, the tiny star fish
[13:00] Speaker 1: like scattered wishes. Then she thought of her cozy nook
[13:05] Speaker 1: between the rocks and her mamma's warm fur, and the
[13:11] Speaker 1: way the bay looked at sunset, all gold and pink
[13:17] Speaker 1: and peaceful. I wonder, I understand, Marina whispered. Home isn't
[13:25] Speaker 1: just the place where you sleep. It's the place where
[13:29] Speaker 1: you feel safe and warm and loved. It's the feeling
[13:35] Speaker 1: inside Optavius's tentacles, curled with happiness. You are a very
[13:42] Speaker 1: wise little otter, Marina. Manina floated on her back in
[13:46] Speaker 1: the tide pool for a while longer, listening to the
[13:50] Speaker 1: water's last gentle notes of the evening. A soft melody
[13:56] Speaker 1: about friendship and courage and the way the sea takes
[14:01] Speaker 1: care of all its creatures. The stars came out, one
[14:07] Speaker 1: by one, reflecting in the water like tiny candles, and
[14:13] Speaker 1: the moon rose above the cliffs, casting a silvery path
[14:18] Speaker 1: across the bay. When it was time to go home,
[14:22] Speaker 1: Marina hugged one of Octavius's arms with her small, warm paws.
[14:29] Speaker 1: Thank you, she said, will you be here tomorrow? Every night,
[14:37] Speaker 1: Octavius said, The Whispering Tide always has more stories to tell,
[14:44] Speaker 1: and so does your heart. Marina paddled home through the calm,
[14:49] Speaker 1: moonlit water, and when she curled up beside her mamma
[14:54] Speaker 1: in their cozy seaweed bed, she could still hear the
[14:59] Speaker 1: fame tis hum of the tide pole in her ears,
[15:04] Speaker 1: a lullaby made of whil song and starlight and the
[15:09] Speaker 1: gentle rhythm of the sea. And she knew, deep down,
[15:15] Speaker 1: in the warmest part of her heart, that she was home,
[15:19] Speaker 1: and that, my dear friends, is the story of the
[15:23] Speaker 1: Whispering Tide. I hope it made your heart feel warm
[15:28] Speaker 1: and cozy, just like Marina's. The lesson tonight is a
[15:33] Speaker 1: simple and beautiful one. Home is not just a place
[15:40] Speaker 1: It is where your heart feels peaceful and loved. It
[15:45] Speaker 1: doesn't matter if you live by the ocean or in
[15:48] Speaker 1: the mountains, in a big house or a tiny apartment.
[15:52] Speaker 1: Home is wherever the people you love make you feel safe, warm,
[15:58] Speaker 1: and exactly where you belong. Thank you so much for
[16:02] Speaker 1: listening to night. You are all so wonderful and I
[16:07] Speaker 1: am so grateful you spend this time with me. Sweet dreams,
[16:12] Speaker 1: little ones. May you hear the whisper of the tide
[16:17] Speaker 1: in your heart to night, and may it sing you
[16:20] Speaker 1: the most beautiful lullaby. Don't forget to subscribe so you
[16:26] Speaker 1: never miss a story. And if this one made you smile,
[16:31] Speaker 1: share it with someone you love. Good Night, every one,
[16:35] Speaker 1: Sleep tight, dream big, and remember you are so so loved.
[16:44] Speaker 1: I'll see you next time.
