## Transcript

[0:02] Speaker 1: You are settling into bed tonight and I am glad
[0:06] Speaker 1: to rest beside you. Poppy is sitting on the back
[0:10] Speaker 1: step with her blanket across her lap. The sky above
[0:14] Speaker 1: the fence is turning pale gold into dusty blue. Yard
[0:29] Speaker 1: smells of grass and evening flowers. You can let your
[0:34] Speaker 1: shoulders drop easily. You can let your legs feel heavy
[0:39] Speaker 1: and warm. I am safe here with you in the quiet.
[0:52] Speaker 1: Low above the grass, a tiny golden light blinks on
[0:57] Speaker 1: and then softens away. Poppy stays very still. and watches
[1:02] Speaker 1: it with sleepy eyes. You can watch with her and
[1:06] Speaker 1: breathe gently and slowly. Breathe in while the light blooms bright.
[1:22] Speaker 1: Breathe out while it fades into blue dusk. There is
[1:27] Speaker 1: no hurry and nothing to catch. I am calm as
[1:31] Speaker 1: the light comes and goes. I can soften more with
[1:46] Speaker 1: each slow glow. Another light answers near the middle of
[2:00] Speaker 1: the yard, and then one more near the fence. Poppy
[2:05] Speaker 1: keeps her hands folded softly in her lap. You can
[2:09] Speaker 1: keep your hands open and quiet, too. Let your belly
[2:22] Speaker 1: rise slightly with the glow. Let it settle down with
[2:26] Speaker 1: the fade. Feel your back sink warm against the pillow.
[2:31] Speaker 1: I am loved in this gentle night. I can let
[2:44] Speaker 1: go of the busy day. Poppy wants to stay seated
[2:57] Speaker 1: near her grown-up and only watch the lights float free.
[3:01] Speaker 1: You can make that same kind choice tonight. Staying still
[3:05] Speaker 1: can care for small, shining things. Staying still can care
[3:19] Speaker 1: for your own tired body. Notice how heavy your feet
[3:23] Speaker 1: feel under the blanket. Notice how smooth your forehead feels.
[3:28] Speaker 1: I am kind when I rest quietly. I am learning
[3:43] Speaker 1: to slow down with love. The blinks grow fewer now,
[3:59] Speaker 1: with long, soft pauses between them. Poppy leans warm against
[4:04] Speaker 1: the door and her breath turns slow and even. You
[4:08] Speaker 1: can let your breath turn slow, too. Let your arms
[4:20] Speaker 1: feel heavy. Let yourself sink into the dark behind your lids.
[4:25] Speaker 1: The stars keep watch while the yard grows still. I
[4:30] Speaker 1: am sleepy and ready to drift. I can rest until
[4:44] Speaker 1: morning light returns.
