[0:02] Speaker 1: The lost mittens. Once upon a time, inside a very
[0:06] Speaker 1: large and comfortable house, there were three little kittens. One
[0:12] Speaker 1: kitten had soft black fur, one had fluffy white fur,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and the youngest kitten had beautiful orange stripes. They had
[0:21] Speaker 1: spent the entire afternoon playing games in the living room.
[0:25] Speaker 1: Earlier that day, they had been wearing their favorite soft
[0:29] Speaker 1: knitted mittens to keep their paws warm. But when the
[0:33] Speaker 1: afternoon play was done, the white kitten looked down at
[0:37] Speaker 1: her paws. Oh no, she whispered, I have lost my mittens.
[0:43] Speaker 1: The black kitten looked at his paws. I have lost
[0:47] Speaker 1: mine too. The orange kitten checked his paws and sighed,
[0:52] Speaker 1: we have all lost our mittens. They knew they could
[0:56] Speaker 1: not go to sleep until their soft mittens were so

[2:01] Speaker 1: neatly on a small wooden table for the night. As
[2:05] Speaker 1: soon as the mittens were safe, a great wave of
[2:08] Speaker 1: relief washed over the three little kittens. The mystery was solved,
[2:14] Speaker 1: the exciting search was over. Suddenly, they all realized just
[2:19] Speaker 1: how much energy they had used. The living room was
[2:22] Speaker 1: now dark and completely silent. The black kitten felt his
[2:27] Speaker 1: legs become incredibly heavy. He stretched his front paws all
[2:33] Speaker 1: the way forward, pulling his tired muscles in a long,
[2:37] Speaker 1: slow stretch. The white kitten realized she was very tired too.
[2:42] Speaker 1: She walked slowly over to a bowl of warm water.
[2:46] Speaker 1: She lifted her paw and slowly washed her soft face
[2:51] Speaker 1: one time, two times, three times. The gentle warmth relaxed
[2:56] Speaker 1: her tired cheeks. The orange kitten walked with slow, heavy
[3:01] Speaker 1: steps toward their giant, shared sleeping basket. The basket was
[3:06] Speaker 1: filled with the softest, thickest cushions in the whole house.
[3:10] Speaker 1: One by one, the three little kittens climbed slowly into
[3:14] Speaker 1: the warm basket. The black kitten curled up into a
[3:18] Speaker 1: perfect round shape. The white kitten sank deeply into the
[3:23] Speaker 1: soft fabric, letting her heavy paws rest completely. The orange
[3:28] Speaker 1: kitten tucked his cold nose safely under his thick fluffy tail.
