[0:00] Speaker 1: Once upon a time, in the middle of a wonderful
[0:03] Speaker 1: place called the Valley of Shapes, everything was made of geometry.
[0:08] Speaker 1: The tall trees looked like green triangles, the fluffy clouds
[0:12] Speaker 1: were perfect ovals, and the bright sun warming the ground
[0:16] Speaker 1: was a giant, cheerful circle. In this valley lived a
[0:20] Speaker 1: group of very special friends, known as the Counting Cubes.
[0:24] Speaker 1: These weren't just ordinary toy blocks. They were magical, colorful,
[0:30] Speaker 1: and full of life. They loved to play, sing, and
[0:33] Speaker 1: most importantly, they loved to use their special math magic
[0:37] Speaker 1: to help each other solve problems. On a beautiful sunny morning,
[0:42] Speaker 1: Little Red was hopping along the path. Little Red was
[0:46] Speaker 1: the number one. He was a small square block with
[0:50] Speaker 1: a brave heart and a lot of energy. A hop hop,
[0:54] Speaker 1: he bounced over pebbles and waved at the birds. Being
[0:59] Speaker 1: one is so much much fun, he sang to himself.
[1:03] Speaker 1: I can fit through tiny doors, and I am fast
[1:06] Speaker 1: as the wind. However, little Red stopped when he saw
[1:10] Speaker 1: something delicious. High up on a branch of a rectangle
[1:14] Speaker 1: tree hung the shiniest, juiciest red apple he had ever seen.
[1:19] Speaker 1: Little Red felt his tummy rumble. He wanted that apple
[1:23] Speaker 1: for his snack. He bent his knees, wiggled his corners,
[1:28] Speaker 1: and sprang into the air with a mighty leap. But
[1:32] Speaker 1: alas he was just too small. The branch was far
[1:35] Speaker 1: too high for a single block to reach. He tried
[1:39] Speaker 1: again and again, but he couldn't get even close. Little
[1:43] Speaker 1: Red sat down on the soft grass, feeling a little
[1:47] Speaker 1: bit sad. I wish I wasn't so small, He sighed,
[1:52] Speaker 1: I need help. Suddenly, a cheerful voice echoed from behind
[1:57] Speaker 1: a bush. Did someone say they need help? Out? Bounced Duo,
[2:02] Speaker 1: the friendly orange block. Duo was the number two. He
[2:07] Speaker 1: was twice as big as Little Red and always had
[2:10] Speaker 1: a smile twice as wide. Hello, Duo, said Little Red.
[2:16] Speaker 1: I really want that apple, but I am too short
[2:19] Speaker 1: to reach it. Duo looked at the apple and then
[2:22] Speaker 1: looked at Little Red. His eyes sparkled with a brilliant idea.
[2:27] Speaker 1: Don't worry, my friend. We don't need a ladder. We
[2:31] Speaker 1: have something better we can use magic math. Magic math,
[2:38] Speaker 1: asked Little Red. Yes, if we work together, we can
[2:42] Speaker 1: become something new, Duo explained, Hop on top of my head.
[2:48] Speaker 1: Little Red trusted his friend. He took a deep breath
[2:53] Speaker 1: and hopped right onto Duo's shoulders blick. As soon as
[2:58] Speaker 1: they touched, a magical light surrounded them. Sparkles of gold
[3:03] Speaker 1: and silver danced in the air. One plus two equals three.
[3:12] Speaker 1: They shouted together. In a flash of light, they transformed.
[3:17] Speaker 1: They were no longer just a red block and an
[3:19] Speaker 1: orange block. They had combined to become Trio, a tall, strong,
[3:25] Speaker 1: yellow block wearing a crown. Trio was the number three.
[3:29] Speaker 1: He felt tall and proud with his new height. Trio
[3:34] Speaker 1: simply reached up his hand and plucked the shiny red
[3:37] Speaker 1: apple from the branch. With no trouble at all. We
[3:40] Speaker 1: did it, cheered Trio, his voice sounding like three friends
[3:45] Speaker 1: laughing together. He sat down and used his magic to
[3:50] Speaker 1: split back into Little Red and Duo so they could
[3:53] Speaker 1: share the delicious snack. Soon other friends heard the laughter
[3:57] Speaker 1: and came to join the picnic. The Blue four square
[4:01] Speaker 1: rolled down the hill, and the Big Star five arrived
[4:04] Speaker 1: with a bag of star shaped cookies. The friends spent
[4:08] Speaker 1: the whole afternoon playing their favorite game called subtract and Hide.
[4:14] Speaker 1: It was a magical game where Big Star five would
[4:16] Speaker 1: let two blocks jump away and poof, he would turn
[4:20] Speaker 1: back into Trio, then if one more block jumped away,
[4:24] Speaker 1: he turned into duo. It was the most fun way
[4:27] Speaker 1: to learn numbers. As the circular sun began to set,
[4:31] Speaker 1: painting the sky in shades of purple and pink, the
[4:35] Speaker 1: counting cubes knew it was time to rest. The moon,
[4:39] Speaker 1: shaped like a perfect silver zero, rose into the sky
[4:43] Speaker 1: to watch over them. Good night, Counting Cubes whispered the wind.
[4:49] Speaker 1: The blocks separated into their own cozy beds. Little Red
[4:54] Speaker 1: pulled up his blanket. Duo closed his eyes, and they
[4:58] Speaker 1: all fell fast asleep, dreaming of all the wonderful numbers
[5:02] Speaker 1: they would make tomorrow. Then
