In this episode, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explores a profound parable from Surah An-Nahl \[16:112\], where Allah describes the rise and fall of a once-thriving nation. This society enjoyed security, economic stability and abundant resources—yet their downfall came not from an external enemy, but from within. Through this ayah, we uncover the hidden causes behind the collapse of civilizations and how ingratitude and corruption lead to destruction. The Quran provides a dual-lens approach, combining worldly realities with spiritual truths, showing us how arrogance, complacency and moral decay set nations on a path to ruin. What lessons can we take from this for our own societies today? Watch to find out.
