[2:23] Speaker 3: Going, but I personally I like, say trained. That's a
[2:26] Speaker 3: funny one to say trained. I was unlike, what are
[2:31] Speaker 3: you talking about about? Broken trust? Say, what are you

[2:34] Speaker 2: Like this et Cedric has been so loyal to you.
[2:38] Speaker 7: Cedric comes to you and says, hey, you should play
[2:41] Speaker 7: your idol. Has has like, even though I understand if
[2:45] Speaker 7: you want to talk about Justin and breaking trust because
[2:48] Speaker 7: Justin was trying to do this thing and Kevin was
[2:49] Speaker 7: trying to.
[2:50] Speaker 2: Do this thing. At the end of that, Cedric came
[2:52] Speaker 2: to you and told you to play your idol. So
[2:56] Speaker 2: I was a bit bothered.
[2:58] Speaker 1: I think she was upset it was last minute, Yeah,
[3:02] Speaker 1: what do you want? But he still told her.
[3:04] Speaker 2: I told her.
[3:05] Speaker 5: I think that she was upset that it was last minute,
[3:08] Speaker 5: but also upset that it was not her idea that
[3:13] Speaker 5: that's really what.

[3:22] Speaker 1: to our favorite contestant in the world, David. Because we
[3:26] Speaker 1: learn a lot about David. Oh my in this next scene.
[3:29] Speaker 1: My god, yeah, man, Kyle asked David what his living
[3:32] Speaker 1: situation is, and from there we learned that David is
[3:35] Speaker 1: thirty eight. He lives in a trailer in front of
[3:37] Speaker 1: his dad's house. It's his dream to start a family,
[3:39] Speaker 1: but his girlfriend won't commit, and he thinks his girlfriend
[3:41] Speaker 1: is gonna leave him if he doesn't win Survivor talk
[3:43] Speaker 1: about guys.
[3:45] Speaker 5: Look, I'm gonna I'm gonna stop right there and just
[3:49] Speaker 5: cut in with the conversation Kristin and I had as
[3:52] Speaker 5: we watched this unfold, which was if Kristen had come
[3:56] Speaker 5: to me and said, Hey, Jonathan, I need you to
[3:59] Speaker 5: stop doing what you do right like video music. I
[4:03] Speaker 5: need you to stop it because we're suffering. We can't
[4:05] Speaker 5: start a family. And I looked at her and I said,
[4:08] Speaker 5: I tell you what I get it, and so for that,
[4:12] Speaker 5: I'm signing up to go on Survivor. I don't see
[4:16] Speaker 5: how that necessarily makes it better.
[4:20] Speaker 3: When he wins Survivor season forty eight and he proposes
[4:24] Speaker 3: at the reunion, Oiji and I win the draft, Yeah,
[4:28] Speaker 3: and brand wins the draft. Jonathan, You're gonna sound really stupid.
[4:32] Speaker 5: I think I think that I'm sounding the most intelligent
[4:35] Speaker 5: of the people speaking.
[4:36] Speaker 3: I can promise you right now, Jonathan that no matter
[4:39] Speaker 3: what the subject matter is, you will never be the

[5:17] Speaker 3: what were they talking about about trailer? And the kyles
[5:23] Speaker 3: like does he does he live on a lot of land?
[5:26] Speaker 2: And he goes out yo.
[5:30] Speaker 3: I was cry laughing because I didn't understand why he
[5:32] Speaker 3: was getting so upset because I guess I missed that
[5:34] Speaker 3: first part. So I just saw him like ranting about, no,
[5:37] Speaker 3: it's not sick, dude, it sucks and my wife's gonna.
[5:40] Speaker 2: Leave me like my thing like they did this. You know,
[5:47] Speaker 2: I don't know if.
[5:48] Speaker 7: They were going for you know, this SOB story or whatever.
[5:52] Speaker 7: The question that I just kept wondering is what type
[5:56] Speaker 7: of shady doing has he gotten himself into. He even
[6:00] Speaker 7: says at one point, guys, I've done a lot of stuff,
[6:03] Speaker 7: and I have I've had a lot of fun doing
[6:05] Speaker 7: the things that I have done.
[6:08] Speaker 1: Probably means stunts.
[6:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess so. I just like at some yeah,
[6:13] Speaker 2: I love that. His response to basically, are you going
[6:16] Speaker 2: to get a job? Is survivor. Man, I just see
[6:23] Speaker 2: trailer in front of my dad's house. That's sick. No
[6:25] Speaker 2: it's not. You don't know. He got so angry. That's
[6:30] Speaker 2: the guy who drafted David.
[6:31] Speaker 7: I wasn't really sure how to handle this conversation and
[6:36] Speaker 7: I still don't.
[6:37] Speaker 5: But I mean shout out to Kyle though, for for
[6:39] Speaker 5: trying to like I think that was one of those
[6:41] Speaker 5: scenarios where Kyle is hearing the information and he's trying
[6:44] Speaker 5: to be like encouraging, and it was just completely shot down.
[6:48] Speaker 1: He's like, not only do I not like it, I
[6:51] Speaker 1: want to have a family and I can't.
[6:54] Speaker 6: It was so like, I yeah, it was sad. It's sad.
[6:58] Speaker 1: I kind of want him to win too, because he's
[6:59] Speaker 1: the only guy who if he won, he would do
[7:01] Speaker 1: a barrel roll.
[7:01] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, and then Jeff would be like he's
[7:05] Speaker 3: doing a.
[7:05] Speaker 2: Tag again, he's doing a stunt move.
[7:07] Speaker 1: It's a good time to move on to Hero Joe.
[7:10] Speaker 1: That's my new name for him. So Joe. He decides
[7:13] Speaker 1: that he's sensing that morale is a little bit low
[7:16] Speaker 1: because although they have won everything and been amazing, I
[7:20] Speaker 1: guess for some reason, the vibes are off, and he's like,
[7:22] Speaker 1: you know what would fix this? I'm gonna build a
[7:24] Speaker 1: massive bonfire.
[7:26] Speaker 2: I get it.
[7:26] Speaker 7: Listen as somebody who was seeing big fires, there's something
[7:31] Speaker 7: about that brings.
[7:31] Speaker 2: A community together, you know what I mean.
[7:33] Speaker 3: You know, the Greeks really popped off in Greek mythology
[7:35] Speaker 3: when they were like, you know, fire is like your life.
[7:38] Speaker 3: Actually that was a Jeff probe.
[7:40] Speaker 5: Yeah, I was on the edge watching the fire get
[7:43] Speaker 5: built because you guys, since I hadn't watched it when
[7:46] Speaker 5: y'all watched it live, you're you're like joking with me,
[7:49] Speaker 5: saying metavacs are happening and all this stuff. Well then
[7:51] Speaker 5: all of a sudden, I see Joe building a tower
[7:54] Speaker 5: fire and I'm just like, wait a seconds, is someone getting.
[8:00] Speaker 6: Thought Joe was going to fall into it?
[8:02] Speaker 5: Look, I didn't know because you guys were so excited
[8:05] Speaker 5: for me to watch this episode. It either meant something
[8:07] Speaker 5: great happened, or it meant I lost a player, or.
[8:09] Speaker 2: More than that.
[8:10] Speaker 5: So I see Joe building a fire, and I'm like,
[8:13] Speaker 5: why is my player building the biggest fire we've ever
[8:16] Speaker 5: seen in Survivor.
[8:18] Speaker 1: I was a little on edge, Chase, tell me what
[8:20] Speaker 1: you thought about Eva's decision after she was so pumped
[8:24] Speaker 1: that she had to build Joe a bracelet for his daughter.
[8:27] Speaker 3: I mean, very heartwarming. I love Joe, like Joe. I
[8:32] Speaker 3: feel bad now that we brought up.
[8:36] Speaker 2: That it was you.
[8:38] Speaker 6: He's on my team now, so watch it.
[8:40] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, no, I like him a lot.
[8:41] Speaker 3: I like him a lot, and I thought it was
[8:43] Speaker 3: a very wholesome moment when Eva made him like a
[8:45] Speaker 3: little bracelet.
[8:46] Speaker 1: Bad strategy. Thomas clock that, you know what.
[8:50] Speaker 2: I love about this is us Obviously we.
[8:53] Speaker 7: At home know that she has autism. Joe knows that
[8:57] Speaker 7: she has autism, and the context obviously helps color things.
[9:00] Speaker 2: And so if you're but if you're Thomas and you
[9:03] Speaker 2: just see this and you're just like.
[9:06] Speaker 7: Do and he even like in this confession, He's like,
[9:09] Speaker 7: she just took the beads off his water bottle. Why
[9:12] Speaker 7: did not like The whole thing is so great because
[9:16] Speaker 7: no one else knows the context. No one knows the
[9:19] Speaker 7: conversation that they've had together. Yeah, and so all of
[9:22] Speaker 7: it is just really like what's happened?
[9:24] Speaker 2: Why are they so close? Yeah?
[9:27] Speaker 5: Every everything Thomas says, now I enjoy a little bit
[9:29] Speaker 5: more because he has like a black eye.
[9:34] Speaker 2: Its getting worse.
[9:37] Speaker 1: He looks like a villain henchman.
[9:40] Speaker 3: Everything he says, like, is it more to it than
[9:43] Speaker 3: it was like two scenes ago?
[9:45] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[9:45] Speaker 3: It's just every time he says something evil, which is
[9:48] Speaker 3: quite frequently in confessionals, someone punches him in the face.
[9:51] Speaker 1: Yea the producers, you know, in our Patreon chat, one
[9:55] Speaker 1: of the people forgot what happened to him, and I
[9:58] Speaker 1: think it was Tutter. Tutter asked, punched Thomas in the face,
[10:01] Speaker 1: and I was like, no, it with Bianca. She hit
[10:03] Speaker 1: him with a stick.
[10:04] Speaker 6: Yeah it was a stick.
[10:05] Speaker 2: But the fact that you thought that somebody may have.
[10:10] Speaker 3: I think he's going a long way.
[10:12] Speaker 1: One more shout out to Eva. She she made a pun.
[10:16] Speaker 1: She said, this is the most loggy thing ever, because
[10:18] Speaker 1: lots of logs. That was a tough one to watch.
[10:22] Speaker 1: I suffered having to see that I don't even remember that.
[10:25] Speaker 1: That's crazy.
[10:26] Speaker 7: But like another like just another like Eva Joe connection
[10:31] Speaker 7: is her being like, you know, my dad makes you
[10:34] Speaker 7: a big bonfire, Like there are so many of these
[10:36] Speaker 7: connections that are like so great because we know about them.
[10:40] Speaker 3: But if you were on the other side, like why
[10:44] Speaker 3: why why is she like like.
[10:45] Speaker 2: Her dad makes a big bonfire? Why is she getting
[10:47] Speaker 2: emotional about a bonfire?
[10:49] Speaker 7: Like if you don't, if you're not privy to what
[10:51] Speaker 7: we have seen, you're looking at all this just being
[10:53] Speaker 7: like I don't know what's going on there, but I
[10:55] Speaker 7: like I would not trust it, like I like, we
[10:57] Speaker 7: gotta I think I started to pick.
[10:59] Speaker 2: Up on that too totally.
[11:00] Speaker 1: Guys, Let's get to the scene that we've been waiting
[11:02] Speaker 1: for all week tribal no waiting for all week, as
[11:06] Speaker 1: in we saw the preview last the entire time. So
[11:11] Speaker 1: Mary gets up early before anybody else and she starts
[11:14] Speaker 1: looking for that idol, and it brings us to the
[11:16] Speaker 1: Mother Mary quote of the week. Mary said, when I'm
[11:21] Speaker 1: at home and I lose my wallet and my friends
[11:23] Speaker 1: are like, hey, Mary, are you gonna go out tonight,
[11:25] Speaker 1: I'm like, I'll find my wallet at some point I'll
[11:27] Speaker 1: vemo one of you guys, because I hate looking for stuff,
[11:30] Speaker 1: but when the stuff is one of the only things
[11:32] Speaker 1: that can save my life, I kind of got a look.
[11:34] Speaker 2: Amen. Yeah.
[11:35] Speaker 3: She doubled downs on this later in the episode, and
[11:38] Speaker 3: I think that's even more hilarious.
[11:40] Speaker 5: This does make I feel like Mary one of the
[11:42] Speaker 5: most relatable survivor contestants I've ever watched, because there's nothing
[11:47] Speaker 5: I hate more than just looking for things. So it's,
[11:51] Speaker 5: you know, like aimlessly wandering around looking for things, and
[11:55] Speaker 5: she's just like, I'm not gonna do it, and I
[11:58] Speaker 5: was like, there you.
[11:59] Speaker 1: Go, Mary, But yeah, this time she's looking for it.
[12:02] Speaker 2: She's looking for it.
[12:03] Speaker 1: I mean, dang it. Say is following her around, and
[12:07] Speaker 1: Mary is trying to find excuses for Say to leave,
[12:09] Speaker 1: like oh, you look hot, or you should get some
[12:10] Speaker 1: more water, but Say shut them all down. And then
[12:13] Speaker 1: at some point Say goes to Cedric and says, hey,
[12:15] Speaker 1: you can't be taking a midday nap. We got to
[12:18] Speaker 1: stay on her, and Mary takes this opportunity to run
[12:21] Speaker 1: into the jungle.
[12:22] Speaker 2: She just full sprints into the jungle. Dude.
[12:24] Speaker 7: I loved it so much, and I also loved that
[12:27] Speaker 7: them have Mary and say having conversations is what I
[12:31] Speaker 7: live for now. And even just a water conversation was
[12:34] Speaker 7: so great. She's like, you should go get some water,
[12:38] Speaker 7: and she's like, I can actually go a long time
[12:40] Speaker 7: without drinking water. And Mary's like, uh, you're literally always
[12:43] Speaker 7: drinking water.
[12:44] Speaker 2: What are you talking about.
[12:45] Speaker 3: And She's like, that's exactly why I can go a
[12:46] Speaker 3: long time without drinking the water. And Mary's like, huh, yeah,
[12:53] Speaker 3: that makes sense.
[12:54] Speaker 5: My favorite thing though, that has come from this, is
[12:57] Speaker 5: just the fact that she posted on her story that
[13:00] Speaker 5: she thought that say was saying I can smell you
[13:05] Speaker 5: instead of I can see you. And she didn't know
[13:07] Speaker 5: that until she sees this. And and Mary and I talked
[13:11] Speaker 5: for a moment about.
[13:12] Speaker 2: This through Instagram.
[13:14] Speaker 5: No no, no, no, because I basically said, what can
[13:19] Speaker 5: I say? Look, there's here's the thing though, is I
[13:21] Speaker 5: said Mary, there are there are three senses. If a
[13:25] Speaker 5: person says I can see you, fine, If a person
[13:28] Speaker 5: says I can hear you, that's also fine. But if
[13:30] Speaker 5: a person says I can smell you, that's like a
[13:33] Speaker 5: serial killer.
[13:35] Speaker 2: You know. It's like all be the reason Mary stops
[13:38] Speaker 2: liking us.
[13:39] Speaker 5: Look, we had a very pleasant conversation, Chase, It's okay,
[13:43] Speaker 5: It's okay if your team members just happened to like
[13:46] Speaker 5: talking to me more.
[13:47] Speaker 3: Hey, let's all take a pause so that way Pete
[13:49] Speaker 3: could edit out this whole chump.
[13:53] Speaker 1: So you think that this is a big rivalry moment
[13:56] Speaker 1: between Say and Mary, but this is actually a bonding moment,
[13:59] Speaker 1: and it means and I hate this brand was one
[14:02] Speaker 1: hundred percent spot on last week when me and Jonathan
[14:05] Speaker 1: said there was no way, so take your victory.
[14:07] Speaker 3: Well, this means a lot, first of all, and I
[14:09] Speaker 3: think there's more to come.
[14:10] Speaker 2: I think, you know what, and not to get too.
[14:13] Speaker 3: Far ahead, but it's more of a it's not like
[14:16] Speaker 3: a friendship yet, it's more of a respect thing, which
[14:19] Speaker 3: at this point is huge, and I think it's all
[14:21] Speaker 3: that I was hoping for.
[14:22] Speaker 2: But I think there's more to come.
[14:24] Speaker 3: I think we are on the precipice of quite a
[14:27] Speaker 3: beautiful relationship.
[14:29] Speaker 2: Can I make a prediction? Go ahead?
[14:30] Speaker 3: I think this might be the biggest power duo we've
[14:32] Speaker 3: ever seen Survivor. They could go all the way again.
[14:35] Speaker 3: Wow yeah, yeah.
[14:36] Speaker 1: Really you don't think that they're gonna just turn on
[14:39] Speaker 1: each other again?
[14:40] Speaker 3: Well, I'm with PD on that, but something happens at
[14:43] Speaker 3: Tribal that I think proves that they're going to be
[14:45] Speaker 3: best friends from now on.
[14:46] Speaker 6: All right, we'll get there when we get there. But
[14:48] Speaker 6: I got thoughts on that too.
[14:49] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that'll be a separate podcast that's an hour long.
[14:53] Speaker 1: So let's head over to the Orange Tribe. We get
[14:56] Speaker 1: a conversation with Mitch and Charity. They both want to
[14:58] Speaker 1: be each other's number one, but they need to bring
[15:01] Speaker 1: in Kyle and David to be the meat Shields. So
[15:04] Speaker 1: Mitch and Kyle head out on a boat and Mitch
[15:06] Speaker 1: makes his pitch and Kyle's into it, and it puts
[15:09] Speaker 1: Kyle in a spot where Kyle is basically aligned with
[15:12] Speaker 1: everybody on Orange.
[15:13] Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a big deal. I feel really good about
[15:16] Speaker 5: how Kyle is looking on that team right now.
[15:19] Speaker 3: It's a good spot to be in, but it's also
[15:21] Speaker 3: a dangerous spot because.
[15:22] Speaker 6: You got to hurt somebody at some point.
[15:24] Speaker 3: Once you lose, at some point, someone's gonna get their
[15:28] Speaker 3: feelings hurt. And it's gonna people are gonna begin to
[15:30] Speaker 3: realize this guy's made.
[15:32] Speaker 2: A lot of promise to a lot of people.
[15:34] Speaker 7: Yeah, which can buy you as long as you're winning,
[15:36] Speaker 7: it's great.
[15:37] Speaker 3: We'll see and we know that there's a certain twist
[15:40] Speaker 3: in the game happening next week.
[15:41] Speaker 2: It's gonna throw an even bigger.
[15:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, and it'll switch Aroo back to Loggie. Eva decides
[15:47] Speaker 1: it's finally time to talk strategy with Star.

[15:51] Speaker 1: Eva asked Star if she's found an advantage, and Star says,
[15:54] Speaker 1: I don't know. I haven't found anything. Who knows if
[15:56] Speaker 1: there is anything. But the problem here is that Star
[15:59] Speaker 1: told everybody on the tribe except for one person. She
[16:02] Speaker 1: told Joe, who famously has a bracelet from Eva to
[16:07] Speaker 1: his daughter.
[16:08] Speaker 7: Could you imagine Star seeing the bracelet exchange and spin.
[16:12] Speaker 5: Yeah, No, it'd be like Star Update, I made a mistake. Yeah,
[16:16] Speaker 5: it's like I don't know.
[16:18] Speaker 2: Guys.
[16:18] Speaker 5: By the way, this is a side note about Star.
[16:21] Speaker 5: Kristin has a theory that Starr is running Star.
[16:24] Speaker 3: Updates, and I've had that same theory.
