[0:02] Speaker 1: Listening to Meuse, could we be in cou wee john So, Jonathan,
[0:29] Speaker 1: what do you mean Johnny fair Play wants to hang
[0:31] Speaker 1: out with you?
[0:33] Speaker 2: What a star? Uh? Well, okay, yeah, I'll give some
[0:39] Speaker 2: of this away and not much of it. But basically,
[0:43] Speaker 2: I I've been you know, Johnny fair Play and I
[0:46] Speaker 2: are from the same area, Like we live in the
[0:49] Speaker 2: same town. We live in the same town. And so
[0:51] Speaker 2: I had this moment where, you know, I had followed
[0:54] Speaker 2: Johnny fair Play, but then all of a sudden, I
[0:57] Speaker 2: get a notification that's like, Johnny fair Play has followed you.
[1:01] Speaker 2: And I was like, boy, we are what a wild
[1:06] Speaker 2: thing to read, you know, a survivor, villain legend essentially, right.
[1:11] Speaker 1: You've referred to as like I mean, not referred to
[1:14] Speaker 1: as you treat him like he's.
[1:15] Speaker 2: Like a boogeyman. Yeah, like oh, and I feel like
[1:18] Speaker 2: it only deepens the lore of Johnny right, like yeah, yeah,
[1:22] Speaker 2: is like a bigfoot sighting, you know.
[1:27] Speaker 1: Send us a picture, it's just the street, yeah yeah.
[1:31] Speaker 2: And so yeah, So I had an idea. I was like,
[1:35] Speaker 2: let me message Johnny Fairplay. So I message him, all right,
[1:39] Speaker 2: I messaged him about a different idea and also just
[1:42] Speaker 2: like hey, man, like if we're out and about, like
[1:45] Speaker 2: let's say hey, like you know that kind of thing.
[1:50] Speaker 2: You know. Let's uh, if I see you around town, dude,
[1:53] Speaker 2: speak up. You know, we'll say hey to each other.
[1:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, because you guys are both very famous.
[1:58] Speaker 2: Of course villains. But I I did message him about
[2:05] Speaker 2: a different idea and also said, hey, we were running
[2:09] Speaker 2: the Making Merchant podcast, so uh, you could always hang
[2:13] Speaker 2: out on there. So it's just kind of like a
[2:14] Speaker 2: float out offer.
[2:17] Speaker 4: Let me let me put out a question to our
[2:19] Speaker 4: audience right now that's listening to the Sanctuary.
[2:22] Speaker 3: Would you guys be mad at us if we had
[2:24] Speaker 3: Johnny that way?
[2:25] Speaker 2: They wouldn't be mad, you.
[2:30] Speaker 1: Know, say the things that we've always said, you know,
[2:32] Speaker 1: don't switch up.
[2:33] Speaker 4: Ye don't swill us. We don't switch up. But here's
[2:36] Speaker 4: what I'll say about Johnny fair Play.
[2:38] Speaker 2: He's your favorite era.
[2:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, he's my favorite player.
[2:42] Speaker 4: Uh, take Survivor out of it. Me and Johnny Fairplay
[2:46] Speaker 4: have a lot in common. We both, you know, got
[2:50] Speaker 4: our start in the wrestling world and then now we're
[2:53] Speaker 4: both making money from Survivor appear.
[2:59] Speaker 2: I thought it was both of y'all might potentially attack
[3:02] Speaker 2: me at any point.
[3:03] Speaker 1: Oh that too, Yeah, definitely.
[3:06] Speaker 2: But Johnny messages me back and I call him Johnny.
[3:10] Speaker 2: You know, I don't have to call him by yeah name,
[3:12] Speaker 2: oh john Boy. Yeah. Johnny messages me back and he says, hey,
[3:19] Speaker 2: let's chat. What does your Monday look like? Which it
[3:22] Speaker 2: happened to be My Monday was full. So I was like,
[3:25] Speaker 2: I can't do money chat? I did? I said, sounds yeah,
[3:30] Speaker 2: you know, the classic thing. But yeah, so I think
[3:33] Speaker 2: Johnny and I are gonna chat. I'm gonna see if
[3:35] Speaker 2: he can help me in my villain origin story for
[3:38] Speaker 2: the making the Merged podcast potentially, So I'm looking to
[3:42] Speaker 2: be a real villain.
[3:44] Speaker 1: As in, like y'all are gonna get coffee, like you're
[3:46] Speaker 1: gonna go. I don't know, You're just gonna call him.
[3:48] Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not have a picture of you
[3:51] Speaker 1: guys like in to show two villain Johnny's together.
[3:55] Speaker 4: Best case scenario, best case scenario, you guys hit it
[3:59] Speaker 4: off and become like best friends.
[4:00] Speaker 2: Look if me and if we really need in Danville
[4:06] Speaker 2: two Johnny's that are survivor adjacent and famous survivor villains,
[4:12] Speaker 2: that's what Because I'm on my full villain story for
[4:16] Speaker 2: this season, right, rolling the dice, throwing him for a loop.
[4:20] Speaker 2: I'm having like a renaissance this season.
[4:22] Speaker 4: I would argue me and you have switched places. I'm
[4:25] Speaker 4: the puns bag now and you're the cool bad guy.
[4:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[4:29] Speaker 2: That's what I've always been known as, is the bad boy.
[4:32] Speaker 2: That's how I say it too. Yeah, I'm the bad
[4:35] Speaker 2: boy of making the merge.
[4:37] Speaker 4: You're just bad boy. Yeah, that way I can be
[4:41] Speaker 4: sad Gore.
[4:42] Speaker 1: Jonathan is big bad boy.
[4:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I say it every time before I start recording,
[4:49] Speaker 2: I look at myself in the mirror and I say,
[4:50] Speaker 2: you're the bad boy. You're the bad boy.
[4:52] Speaker 1: I'm the bad guy.
[4:55] Speaker 2: Dum so. Yeah, that's uh. That's what's what I've been
[4:59] Speaker 2: up to is chatting with Survivor legends, infamous Survivor legends.
[5:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's incredible one. You know, my dms have been
[5:07] Speaker 1: flooded about Jonathan. People are like, p D, why do
[5:09] Speaker 1: you hate Jonathan so much? Jonathan? And it's because we've
[5:14] Speaker 1: the journeys and the Steelers are at war. So for
[5:16] Speaker 1: this season, me and Jonathan are enemies. Last year we
[5:19] Speaker 1: had the Bachman Wright alliance. Who knows maybe we'll reform
[5:22] Speaker 1: that for fifty.
[5:24] Speaker 2: Who knows, all things are possible.
[5:27] Speaker 3: Jonathan kind of have a little bit of alliance this season.
[5:30] Speaker 2: Dare I say? Chase and I have been completely buddy
[5:34] Speaker 2: buddy this entire season. What happened?
[5:36] Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what happened. We're very We're great
[5:38] Speaker 3: at our jobs. Guys. You know how to change up
[5:41] Speaker 3: the dynamics. It doesn't.
[5:43] Speaker 2: It's called code switching. You know, like when you go
[5:46] Speaker 2: back to your hometown and suddenly you're speaking with the
[5:49] Speaker 2: accent of that hometown. But then you go back to
[5:51] Speaker 2: where you live and you're like it's gone. You know,
[5:54] Speaker 2: you got of code switch it a little?
[5:56] Speaker 1: Yeah? What I sid? All right, guys, let's get into it. Well,
[6:04] Speaker 1: I think it was a solid five minutes of riffing
[6:06] Speaker 1: off the top. Now we get into some drama season
[6:10] Speaker 1: for some drama.
[6:11] Speaker 2: Give us the drama.
[6:14] Speaker 1: So the drama is that Jeffrey Jeffrey Probes on his podcast,
[6:18] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, set up his co host. He gave him
[6:22] Speaker 1: a question. He's like, how did he word that exactly? Chase?
[6:26] Speaker 1: Can you just pull up the drop your buffs Instagram
[6:29] Speaker 1: and because that's what Yeah, that's where all the comments
[6:31] Speaker 1: about this are Oh there were.
[6:34] Speaker 2: Comments that was sarcastic. I have paid attention, put you
[6:40] Speaker 2: on the spot.
[6:41] Speaker 3: And I mean this as a legit question.
[6:43] Speaker 4: In the Survivor world, does poverty winning Survivor Australia count
[6:49] Speaker 4: in the same way that winning this Survivor does? Is
[6:52] Speaker 4: she now a two time Survivor winner?
[6:54] Speaker 3: So listen, I don't think so.
[6:56] Speaker 4: In my Survivor world, I say she has one and
[7:00] Speaker 4: a half wins.
[7:03] Speaker 3: It's a good win, I'll but.
[7:05] Speaker 1: It's not the same as as a Survivor US.
[7:09] Speaker 3: It's not the same, all right you j Jeff set
[7:13] Speaker 3: him up.
[7:13] Speaker 1: Dude, Wow, dude, and he wanted to say it. He didn't.
[7:17] Speaker 1: They didn't linger on the conversation, they didn't go any
[7:20] Speaker 1: more in depth. He was just like, all right, moving on.
[7:22] Speaker 2: I'm I'm gonna say something about this whole thing right now,
[7:26] Speaker 2: which is Survivor is not the original show, right, Like
[7:32] Speaker 2: it's that Expedition Robinson or whatever. That was like, yeah,
[7:37] Speaker 2: let me look that up. It is a Swedish reality
[7:42] Speaker 2: game show. So I mean my question would be, does
[7:46] Speaker 2: winning Survivor US actually count as winning the main show.
[7:51] Speaker 4: Let's let's just get into the think of it right
[7:54] Speaker 4: off the bat, before we start breaking it down.
[7:57] Speaker 1: P D.
[7:58] Speaker 4: Do you consider it, like what he said, a half
[8:01] Speaker 4: win or do you consider it a full win? What
[8:03] Speaker 4: do you think of it?
[8:05] Speaker 1: If we're changing the value of wins, which apparently that's
[8:09] Speaker 1: what Jeremy's trying to do, then I'll say it counts
[8:11] Speaker 1: as two wins. So Carverdy is a three time winner.
[8:14] Speaker 1: Because I don't know, if you've seen Survivor Australia, it's better.
[8:19] Speaker 1: It's a better show, all right.
[8:23] Speaker 4: Before we get into the deep water with it, Jonathan,
[8:26] Speaker 4: what do you think?
[8:28] Speaker 2: Let me ask you something. If I win a gold
[8:32] Speaker 2: medal in track and field, which is not gonna happen,
[8:35] Speaker 2: but I win it at the Beijing two thousand and
[8:37] Speaker 2: eight Olympics, and then I win a gold medal at
[8:41] Speaker 2: the London Olympics a few years later in track and
[8:43] Speaker 2: ok am I a one and a half Olympic winner?
[8:46] Speaker 2: Am I a two time winner?
[8:48] Speaker 1: Okay?
[8:50] Speaker 3: Fair point. I do think we're because it's hosted.
[8:53] Speaker 2: By different countries, it's hosted by different but they took
[8:57] Speaker 2: the conversation in a weird place.
[8:59] Speaker 1: So that's what Yeah, all I'm gonna say.
[9:02] Speaker 4: I'm gonna say here's what I'm saying, because I'm not
[9:04] Speaker 4: saying I disagree or agree.
[9:05] Speaker 3: I just I want to lay out exactly.
[9:09] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[9:09] Speaker 4: No, no, no, I'm gonna say my opinion when I'm done.
[9:12] Speaker 3: I just want it to be set up properly.
[9:15] Speaker 2: It's mullet left and so did his opinions.
[9:19] Speaker 3: Guys, I didn't vote. I didn't vote last election.
[9:22] Speaker 1: You're being a real boogie two nine eight, whatever his
[9:25] Speaker 1: numbers are, I don't know.
[9:27] Speaker 3: Okay. I think what.
[9:31] Speaker 4: We're forgetting here is this wasn't just a regular season
[9:34] Speaker 4: of Australia. This was a shorter, condensed, kind of special
[9:40] Speaker 4: season of Australia.
[9:43] Speaker 2: How many days was it?
[9:44] Speaker 1: I knew that.
[9:46] Speaker 3: How many days was it?
[9:46] Speaker 2: PD?
[9:47] Speaker 1: Do you remember it was seen? It was like less
[9:51] Speaker 1: than twenty. I don't.
[9:51] Speaker 2: I don't know the exact number. I'm aren't the US
[9:55] Speaker 2: seasons less days than the original Survivor season and and.
[9:59] Speaker 4: They're the less there are less days than a normal
[10:02] Speaker 4: Australian season.
[10:03] Speaker 2: Okay, so that that again is kind of like a
[10:06] Speaker 2: double standard of how many days You're like, wait a second.
[10:10] Speaker 1: But while there are less days on this specific season,
[10:13] Speaker 1: this season was against the best players at all winners
[10:17] Speaker 1: from a bunch of different countries.
[10:19] Speaker 4: In here's where I'll give my opinion. Now my opinion.
[10:23] Speaker 4: I think it counts as a full win. Oh, I
[10:25] Speaker 4: think she's a two time winner.
[10:28] Speaker 2: I will if you didn't say that.
[10:31] Speaker 4: What I will say is, though I can understand why Jeff,
[10:35] Speaker 4: who is the showrunner of the US version of Survivor,
[10:39] Speaker 4: they're not friends, right the Australian show. In the US show,
[10:42] Speaker 4: they are competition.
[10:44] Speaker 1: He was just hanging out with the fired host to
[10:47] Speaker 1: j LP.
[10:48] Speaker 4: Yeah, so maybe he has a vendetta against them for
[10:51] Speaker 4: fire in his voice. I can see why he would.
[10:55] Speaker 4: And Jeff isn't even the one that said this, but
[10:57] Speaker 4: he kind of set it up. I would see why
[11:00] Speaker 4: I would say, hey, doesn't count the same as win
[11:02] Speaker 4: in my show. My show is the real deal, you
[11:05] Speaker 4: know what I mean. I can see why they can
[11:07] Speaker 4: understand that.
[11:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, I get it because it sure we have
[11:11] Speaker 2: Expedition Robinson in Sweden or whatever, but it was not
[11:15] Speaker 2: as uh, it was not as huge. It's not as.
[11:18] Speaker 1: Huge as Survivor US is.
[11:21] Speaker 3: It's the first most famous.
[11:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, so I get that. I do think though, that
[11:27] Speaker 2: it does count still as a win in the Survivor
[11:31] Speaker 2: universe because to everyone in Australia, like that's their Survivor.
[11:39] Speaker 3: And it's not.
[11:41] Speaker 4: Like it was just like a bunch of Australian players
[11:43] Speaker 4: who we've never heard of, and then PARV was there.
[11:45] Speaker 3: It was an all star season the country.
[11:50] Speaker 2: Imagine if Survivor US did the same concept and then
[11:56] Speaker 2: we had an Australian who had won several season Is
[12:00] Speaker 2: an Australian Survivor win here, well, Ken it would count. Yeah,
[12:05] Speaker 2: you're like this dude, one or lady. They can all
[12:08] Speaker 2: win like Poverty. But anyway, all I'm saying is get
[12:13] Speaker 2: Johnny fairplay on Australian Survivor.
[12:16] Speaker 4: Hey, I don't think he's allowed back on the US version.
[12:22] Speaker 1: Yeah maybe Australia.
[12:25] Speaker 2: I think he should anyway, the Australian players.
[12:29] Speaker 1: One thing that I love about Australian Survivor is how
[12:32] Speaker 1: mean they are. They're just a lot meaner in general.
[12:37] Speaker 1: And so that's why I think. You know what I said,
[12:39] Speaker 1: it counts as two wins, it counts as five wins
[12:42] Speaker 1: now in my Poverty is a six time winner.
[12:45] Speaker 2: Well that's really interesting that you bring up it being
[12:49] Speaker 2: like that they're meaner on Australian Survivor because I feel
[12:52] Speaker 2: like every Australian person I've met is like almost so
[12:56] Speaker 2: chill that you're like, how do I become this? How
[13:02] Speaker 2: do I get this chill?
[13:04] Speaker 4: Kind of the bigger controversy about this clip though, because
[13:08] Speaker 4: we didn't even get into the waves that it kind
[13:11] Speaker 4: of formed when when the on Fire podcast did this,
[13:15] Speaker 4: We've got part of herself making a statement saying that
[13:19] Speaker 4: it was a very sexist thing to say. Then a
[13:22] Speaker 4: bunch of former Survivor players have started speaking out. Some
[13:26] Speaker 4: of them, I would say ninety nine of them are
[13:30] Speaker 4: against Jeff and but some people have been speaking up
[13:35] Speaker 4: and being like, guys, don't be ridiculous. And that's been
[13:39] Speaker 4: very interesting to see too because they actually have Yeah. Yeah,
[13:44] Speaker 4: Bonu was like, guys, Jeff is the best stop.
[13:50] Speaker 3: What is her name?
[13:51] Speaker 1: Cass Chaos Casts.
[13:53] Speaker 3: Okay, here's what.
[13:55] Speaker 4: Cass Cass McQuillan had to say about the whole situation.
[14:00] Speaker 4: She posted a meme of the Drake meme where he's
[14:03] Speaker 4: like nah and then the second one being like, yeah,
[14:06] Speaker 4: that's it. Yeah, so it says everyone, I'll just this
[14:10] Speaker 4: is what the meme says. Twenty six days isn't real Survivor,
[14:14] Speaker 4: then it says fourteen days is, and you're a misogynist
[14:16] Speaker 4: for saying it's not. Essentially, the point she's making is
[14:20] Speaker 4: if all of these old Survivor players are always bitching
[14:23] Speaker 4: about how twenty six days isn't real Survivor, it's weird
[14:27] Speaker 4: that they are then switching up and being like, fourteen
[14:29] Speaker 4: days is real Survivor and.
[14:31] Speaker 3: It bears the win.
[14:32] Speaker 4: So that is a fair point to make. I don't
[14:35] Speaker 4: totally agree, but what I will say is, in Jeff's defense,
[14:39] Speaker 4: if anyone other than parv had won that season of
[14:43] Speaker 4: Australia or like Surreal or a Survivor US legend, he
[14:46] Speaker 4: wouldn't even bring it up. He probably wouldn't even consider
[14:49] Speaker 4: it half of a win because he's like, oh, it's
[14:52] Speaker 4: not real. But because one of his star players won it,
[14:55] Speaker 4: I think it's getting more disrespect from him than it would.
[14:58] Speaker 1: Ever Zo point five when Yeah, I think the whole
[15:02] Speaker 1: thing is stupid and unnecessary and he didn't need to
[15:05] Speaker 1: put this on his podcast.
[15:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like I'm gonna say something again. I
[15:11] Speaker 2: feel like I'm just saying a lot today. Maybe it's
[15:13] Speaker 2: because I was talking with fair Play earlier, but I
[15:17] Speaker 2: I feel like Jeff Stocks are are having like a
[15:21] Speaker 2: slight dip recently. Guys, I don't know, people online have
[15:26] Speaker 2: been a little, uh, they've fallen a little out of
[15:29] Speaker 2: love with Probes and some of his decisions.
[15:31] Speaker 1: And I would say about the past five years.
[15:34] Speaker 2: Well yeah, but I feel like this season I'm feeling
[15:37] Speaker 2: it more. Maybe it's because I'm more involved, Maybe it's
[15:39] Speaker 2: because I've been talking to fair Play.
[15:41] Speaker 1: Is there a correlation between the Botox going up and
[15:44] Speaker 1: the Stocks going down?
[15:46] Speaker 2: I don't know. We need to ask Bradley Cooper.
[15:48] Speaker 3: To let's do a let's do a little round robin here.
[15:52] Speaker 1: What do you guys feel about Jeff? Jeff Jeff?
[15:54] Speaker 3: What do you think?
[15:57] Speaker 2: Who's Jeff.
[15:59] Speaker 3: Probes here? I forgot to tell you guys.
[16:00] Speaker 2: That Jeff, Oh there he is. Wow, he's beautiful. No, no, PD.
[16:07] Speaker 3: What do you think? What is your opinions on Jeff?
[16:09] Speaker 1: I used to do a bit about how like he
[16:12] Speaker 1: can do no wrong and kind of like a celebrity
[16:14] Speaker 1: worship kind of thing. Yes, I think. I mean I
[16:19] Speaker 1: love what he's created. I love American Survivor. I love
[16:22] Speaker 1: American Survivor more than I love Australian Survivor, but I
[16:25] Speaker 1: will be able to admit Australian Survivor is a better show.
[16:29] Speaker 1: I think his stocks dipped a little bit for me
[16:33] Speaker 1: with the Mary revelation about Love Island screaming at her
[16:37] Speaker 1: about Love Island.
[16:39] Speaker 2: Thought that was a little odd.
[16:40] Speaker 1: But I think overall, Survivor doesn't exist without Jeff because
[16:45] Speaker 1: if if there's another host, it just it wouldn't have
[16:47] Speaker 1: been as good. I don't think anybody would have cared
[16:49] Speaker 1: as much. And that's why he took over the show
[16:51] Speaker 1: because of how much he cared about it. So overall,
[16:54] Speaker 1: I like Jeff, just don't disparage poverty for no reason.
[16:59] Speaker 3: On your podcast, Jonathan, how do you feel about Jeff Broke?
[17:02] Speaker 2: I think Jeff is doing his job. You know, he's
[17:07] Speaker 2: he's an executive producer and he's he's a showrunner. He's
[17:11] Speaker 2: the host. Like and to be completely fair to him,
[17:17] Speaker 2: every single season is like this rotating cast of people
[17:21] Speaker 2: that you just kind of are like that again, they
[17:23] Speaker 2: become characters, even to him more so, right like, oh,
[17:27] Speaker 2: these are the characters for this season. They're gonna be here,
[17:31] Speaker 2: they're gonna be gone, We're gonna send them on their
[17:33] Speaker 2: their tour and then on their way and then next season.
[17:37] Speaker 2: I'm already filming it. I'm already there and I've already
[17:39] Speaker 2: moved on to new people. So in a way, he
[17:42] Speaker 2: can't care but so much, right because it's he's got
[17:46] Speaker 2: to keep caring about the next season and what's happening.
[17:50] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like my high school where like my
[17:53] Speaker 4: teachers had a thousand students, so they just didn't care
[17:56] Speaker 4: about any of us.
[17:56] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean fair right, like it's it's it
[17:59] Speaker 2: happens all.
[18:00] Speaker 1: But I do think Jeff does really like when you
[18:02] Speaker 1: listen to him on the podcast. I mean, his podcast sucks.
[18:06] Speaker 1: That's the other bad thing about Jeff. He could have
[18:08] Speaker 1: the first season with Rick Devans, it was great, but
[18:12] Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to on Fire after that.
[18:14] Speaker 1: But he'll talk about the players like Shannon. He's like,
[18:17] Speaker 1: you know what I remember about Shannon is when we
[18:19] Speaker 1: did the in person interviews, she came in barefoot and
[18:22] Speaker 1: she just took control of the room.
[18:24] Speaker 2: It's like took control like Charles Man. Anyway, Hey, we're
[18:30] Speaker 2: not doing that anymore.
[18:31] Speaker 4: Sh Shan stand a standing, My thoughts stand in fairweather,
[18:38] Speaker 4: My thoughts on Jeff.
[18:39] Speaker 3: I think can be summed up pretty quickly. What it
[18:42] Speaker 3: was my turn?
[18:43] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[18:44] Speaker 3: Why you laugh at me?
[18:46] Speaker 2: I laughed because I.
[18:49] Speaker 3: Tried open and nobody cheered.
[18:52] Speaker 2: Yeah, stand in fair weather. It works. He said it,
[18:55] Speaker 2: and I laughed, and then uh you you quickly said
[18:58] Speaker 2: why are you laughing?
[19:01] Speaker 1: Okay, Chase to give your opinion on Jeff, and then
[19:04] Speaker 1: I'll talk about how much I love Shannon Well real quick.
[19:07] Speaker 4: I need both of you guys to ask me because
[19:09] Speaker 4: I want to know that you actually care about my apigion.
[19:13] Speaker 1: I just needed so many students that I die of
[19:15] Speaker 1: a thousand students, I don't really care.
[19:17] Speaker 2: I'm just kidding. How do you feel about Jeff?
[19:20] Speaker 1: Chase?
[19:21] Speaker 2: Now you say it, Jonathan, how do you feel about Yeah?
[19:26] Speaker 4: Thank you so much for ask kid. What I think
[19:29] Speaker 4: about Jeff is I think he's a great host. I think,
[19:35] Speaker 4: like most network TV guys, the show could use a
[19:39] Speaker 4: new showrunner. He wasn't the showrunner back in the day,
[19:47] Speaker 4: and for better or for worse, now he is the showrunner.
[19:49] Speaker 4: There's a lot of and I think people got to
[19:51] Speaker 4: remember there's also a lot of network people that get involved.
[19:55] Speaker 3: There's a lot of.
[19:57] Speaker 4: Outside like pressure, so it's like you the network, you know,
[20:03] Speaker 4: CBS is like, you only.
[20:04] Speaker 1: Get this amount of money.
[20:06] Speaker 4: You can't go to other locations anymore. You have to
[20:08] Speaker 4: stay in Fiji. You can only do twenty six days.
[20:11] Speaker 4: I think people really put a lot of that on
[20:13] Speaker 4: Jeff because they're like, he's ruined Survivor by making it
[20:16] Speaker 4: only twenty six days. It's probably not his decision. Even
[20:19] Speaker 4: though he's the show runner. The network gives him a budget. Yeah,
[20:23] Speaker 4: Now he's such a network guy. He's such a CBS guy.
[20:26] Speaker 4: If you put in a different show runner, someone kind
[20:29] Speaker 4: of younger, more ambitious, hot headed, they're gonna fight and
[20:33] Speaker 4: they're gonna try to get some things changed. So that's
[20:37] Speaker 4: what I would say.
[20:37] Speaker 1: Is I think I don't want this turning into the
[20:40] Speaker 1: Savannah Bananas though. I don't want someone to come in
[20:43] Speaker 1: and be like, we're totally changing what Survivor is and
[20:45] Speaker 1: we're doing back for ye.
[20:48] Speaker 2: I think you just have to find someone who is
[20:50] Speaker 2: truly a fan of Survivor to take over show running,
[20:53] Speaker 2: like not just some person to.
[20:55] Speaker 1: Like or somebody like that.
[20:57] Speaker 4: I don't know, Yeah, he doesn't have any experience network TV, you.
[21:06] Speaker 2: Know everything, Like, don't worry well, put every episode on
[21:09] Speaker 2: United Airlines.
[21:11] Speaker 4: Everyone likes the armchair armchair quarterback Survivor, but it's like, sure,
[21:16] Speaker 4: like you can know a lot about the game of Survivor, Yeah,
[21:19] Speaker 4: but you have to also know how to be a
[21:21] Speaker 4: TV network executive.
[21:24] Speaker 2: Well, and then you have the problem of how many
[21:28] Speaker 2: jobs Jeff is doing? You know, kind of like you
[21:31] Speaker 2: see it happen at a at a macro level. You
[21:33] Speaker 2: like that at a macro level and within smaller companies,
[21:37] Speaker 2: and then you have it in a micro macro macro.
[21:41] Speaker 2: There we go. Anyway, what I'm trying to say, gentlemen,
[21:45] Speaker 2: is that Jeff might have too few cooks in the kitchen.
[21:50] Speaker 1: As we need to get some more chefs in.
[21:52] Speaker 2: We need to get some more cooks in the kitchen.
[21:55] Speaker 2: But one head chef, yes, chef you know bear style.
[22:00] Speaker 1: Jeremy Allen White, And yeah.
[22:02] Speaker 2: There we go.
[22:02] Speaker 3: He's a guy.
[22:03] Speaker 2: He's playing Springsteen. He can play a show runner too.
[22:06] Speaker 1: There is an uncomfortable truth about all this that I
[22:09] Speaker 1: know from you know, being around football for so long,
[22:11] Speaker 1: and that's that if somebody Jeff is basically our coach.
[22:15] Speaker 1: He's so involved, it's all year long that he's doing
[22:18] Speaker 1: all this work. When he stops, he will die. It
[22:21] Speaker 1: will not be once he retires, It will not be
[22:24] Speaker 1: long after the Jeff's just going to pass away. Yeah,
[22:27] Speaker 1: I'm serious, we got that. Though he's oldly How old
[22:30] Speaker 1: is Jeff? Uh?
[22:33] Speaker 2: Okay, let's take some guesses. This will be a fun game.
[22:36] Speaker 1: Six.
[22:38] Speaker 2: Get you think I think Jeff is? I think Jeff
[22:42] Speaker 2: is sixty five?
[22:44] Speaker 1: Okay, sixty three?
[22:46] Speaker 2: Wow?
[22:47] Speaker 3: Wo yeah, he's sixty three. That's not that old. No,
[22:51] Speaker 3: it's not that now.
[22:53] Speaker 1: In seven years, that is going to be very old.
[22:56] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[22:56] Speaker 4: Do you think he'll still be hosting him seven years?
[22:58] Speaker 1: I do.
[22:59] Speaker 2: I think he will.
[23:00] Speaker 1: I think it will be his cognitive ability is going
[23:03] Speaker 1: to be on the decline.
[23:05] Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I uh, here's I really think that
[23:11] Speaker 2: they might have to if if he stops hosting. I
[23:15] Speaker 2: do think it won't be because he quits. I think
[23:20] Speaker 2: that it would be someone behind the scenes being like,
[23:22] Speaker 2: you need to hang it up. Yeah, because and he
[23:25] Speaker 2: may show run from still the bat, but not be
[23:29] Speaker 2: the host.
[23:31] Speaker 1: I Jeff, you keep bringing up Richard Nixon at tribals.
[23:34] Speaker 1: It's it's getting out of control.
[23:35] Speaker 2: I thought it was funny because not too long ago,
[23:38] Speaker 2: someone asked him about the idea of doing kind of
[23:40] Speaker 2: like the Golden Bachelor, but doing the Golden Survivor, and
[23:42] Speaker 2: he was not interested. And I was like, Jeff, you're
[23:45] Speaker 2: you're already kind.
[23:46] Speaker 1: Of doing You're.
[23:49] Speaker 2: The Golden Host.
[23:50] Speaker 4: Yeah, Jeff's aid tribal and he's just like, he's like,
[23:52] Speaker 4: all right, Vanu, did you think Richard Nixon was a crook?
[24:00] Speaker 1: Maybe if if Bonu comes back, we'll finally find out.
[24:05] Speaker 1: So that that conversation went in a lot of interesting places.
[24:08] Speaker 1: We started off with you know, is it a half win?
[24:10] Speaker 3: Is it a full win?
[24:11] Speaker 1: To you know, Jeff's gonna die one?
[24:13] Speaker 2: That might be the most we've ever called shop about survivor.
[24:17] Speaker 2: Well yeah, but I mean that's the sanctuary, man, is
[24:20] Speaker 2: where good things and contemplative things happen.
[24:23] Speaker 1: I want to I want to talk about some of
[24:26] Speaker 1: the comments, or not some of the comments. One specific
[24:29] Speaker 1: comment on our page. Oh and I think it was
[24:32] Speaker 1: from somebody who commented on that Australia thing too, because
[24:35] Speaker 1: she's a very opinionated woman. Oh and that this is
[24:39] Speaker 1: on our soul clip about the shoe banded thing. I
[24:41] Speaker 1: don't know if we've brought this up on the show before,
[24:44] Speaker 1: but this comment made me laugh so hard. So are
[24:48] Speaker 1: you familiar with Eliza from fans versus favorite? Yeah, very
[24:51] Speaker 1: popular Survivor player. She said on our clip about soul,
[24:56] Speaker 1: I'm without. Who is a fan of this absurdity? Like,
[25:00] Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Timu Rupert doesn't do it for me?
[25:03] Speaker 2: Oh dude, I forgot about this. Yeah, you did mention
[25:08] Speaker 2: this to me? What an interesting Uh?
[25:14] Speaker 1: Without was two words, I'm without, I'm without.
[25:19] Speaker 2: What does she mean by that?
[25:20] Speaker 1: I mean it's supposed to be a space. I mean
[25:23] Speaker 1: that she supposed to take away the space between me
[25:25] Speaker 1: and out though, But like I'm without, I mean it's
[25:28] Speaker 1: like like i'm for, I'm at a loss essentially.
[25:30] Speaker 2: I think it's what that means. I don't think that's
[25:32] Speaker 2: a phrase.
[25:33] Speaker 4: I think I read it as she tried to say soul.
[25:40] Speaker 1: I'm without she was. I thought she was just saying
[25:42] Speaker 1: some weird things. Okay, So so she was actually with
[25:46] Speaker 1: that reframe that reframes the whole.
[25:48] Speaker 2: Sens I love that. PD just was like, there's no
[25:54] Speaker 2: such thing as typos. It has to be a say,
[25:57] Speaker 2: and then he explains the same.
[25:59] Speaker 1: That says, hey man, I was doing forty chess no Jonathan. No, no, no,
[26:07] Speaker 1: there's like she was trying without hold on. But that
[26:11] Speaker 1: is a phrase though. I'm googling this.
[26:13] Speaker 2: He got out without without right now.
[26:17] Speaker 1: Phrase Let's see if anything comes up the phrase no,
[26:21] Speaker 1: it's not real. I mean, man, I okay, this is
[26:29] Speaker 1: gonna be a phrase I use now.
[26:31] Speaker 2: Realization is excited right now.
[26:34] Speaker 3: I'm so excited right now.
[26:35] Speaker 2: That I got something wrong.
[26:37] Speaker 4: All the time from our from our fans, I get
[26:41] Speaker 4: messages and stuff like is it night in Fiji? Now,
[26:45] Speaker 4: I can't wait for everybody to be on PD's ass
[26:47] Speaker 4: about Hey man.
[26:48] Speaker 2: I'm with I'm I'm without, dude.
[26:50] Speaker 1: I think here's the thing. It works, ye, so it does.
[26:55] Speaker 1: It works the phrase I'm without right now, Jonathan about
[26:58] Speaker 1: without not being a thing. I'm just I'm totally without it.
[27:01] Speaker 2: It's just so funny because she said it and I
[27:04] Speaker 2: was like, I don't even know what that phrase means.
[27:06] Speaker 1: And then you're like, you don't, you must be pretty.
[27:10] Speaker 1: I was just I was inferring. I was like, she
[27:12] Speaker 1: must have meant something else.
[27:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, completely different word.
[27:18] Speaker 1: And now this I thought she was saying when she said,
[27:21] Speaker 1: who's a fan of this absurdity that she was referring
[27:24] Speaker 1: to our show, and I was gonna I thought that
[27:26] Speaker 1: was accurate.
[27:27] Speaker 2: Oh, we saved her from your your riddle.
[27:30] Speaker 1: So I just found out live in the moment here
[27:33] Speaker 1: that survivor Eliza is actually on our side.
[27:36] Speaker 2: Yeah incredibly, Yeah, No, she's actually on Saul's side. She's like,
[27:41] Speaker 2: I'm with Saul. I him out, yeah, out money.
[27:48] Speaker 3: What's crazy is I understood what you mean? In PD.
[27:51] Speaker 4: It was almost like saying like I'm without words, but
[27:53] Speaker 4: without the words part.
[27:55] Speaker 2: I'm without y'all forget. I have an education degree and
[27:58] Speaker 2: I'm over. You're like, I don't think that's true, and
[28:00] Speaker 2: you're like, no, no, no, it is.
[28:01] Speaker 1: No, yes, I'm like not only that, it's like, you know,
[28:05] Speaker 1: she just said this other phrase wrong.
[28:08] Speaker 3: What is your degree? What is your degree?
[28:10] Speaker 2: I have an Education and interdisciplinary uh disciplinary skills degree.
[28:16] Speaker 1: So what does that mean?
[28:17] Speaker 2: It just means that I can teach, That's about it.
[28:19] Speaker 2: I don't know. But I had to take like a
[28:23] Speaker 2: ton of courses on like how to teach math, how
[28:25] Speaker 2: to teach English, how.
[28:26] Speaker 4: To teach is a kind of general teaching degree. Yeah,
[28:29] Speaker 4: what can you guess what my degree is?
[28:33] Speaker 2: Probably I don't know how to how to. I don't know.
[28:38] Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of a joke it. Mine's clearly
[28:40] Speaker 2: not an improv or anything. But what is it?
[28:42] Speaker 3: What is my degree is in digital media?
[28:46] Speaker 2: I did know this because you did tell me that
[28:49] Speaker 2: it makes sense.
[28:50] Speaker 1: P D.
[28:51] Speaker 2: What is your degree in.
[28:54] Speaker 1: That? Right?
[28:55] Speaker 2: That's right?
[28:56] Speaker 1: Actually I have a degree in Katy Perry studies. That
[29:01] Speaker 1: transitions nicely into the next edition of Keeping Up with Katie.
[29:05] Speaker 1: Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are officially dating. Everyone has decided,
[29:09] Speaker 1: oh goodness, yeah, that's right. For months, the sightings have
[29:16] Speaker 1: been murky and long distance in nature, more worthy of
[29:19] Speaker 1: Arctic nature photography than gossip pages. In July, they were
[29:22] Speaker 1: seen walking a dog and then dining at a restaurant
[29:24] Speaker 1: in Montreal, and then a confusing silence as the were
[29:29] Speaker 1: they even new couple retreated into a summer hibernation. It
[29:33] Speaker 1: was not until September that a California whale watching trip
[29:36] Speaker 1: got the biggest nautical sighting of all, when a passenger
[29:39] Speaker 1: snapped an entwined romantic duo atop a yacht from a distance.
[29:44] Speaker 1: When enhanced, the photographer recognized former Canadian Prime Minister Justin
[29:49] Speaker 1: Trudeau by his thorny indigenous tattoo, though apparently they did
[29:54] Speaker 1: not recognize the incredibly famous pop star Katy Perry by
[29:58] Speaker 1: the fact that they were canoodling on her quite tasteful
[30:00] Speaker 1: motor yacht. Guyss. This CNN Entertainment article is written kind
[30:11] Speaker 1: of weird.
[30:11] Speaker 2: It's super weird. That whole thing. Yeah, that that whole
[30:16] Speaker 2: thing reads like somebody's just pumping an art. Oh my gosh.
[30:19] Speaker 2: They mentioned Gail King. That was like our super Bowl.
[30:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, so they were, it seemed something. It has been
[30:29] Speaker 1: a very strange year for both. Trudeau announced he would
[30:31] Speaker 1: resign in January, leaving Canada conduct to conduct its ongoing
[30:35] Speaker 1: conflict with America without him. He was replaced in April,
[30:38] Speaker 1: and that was the same month that Katy Perry resigned
[30:41] Speaker 1: from the planet. And I had to I had to
[30:49] Speaker 1: add from in there it said that was the same
[30:51] Speaker 1: month that Katy Perry resigned the planet.
[30:54] Speaker 4: Is that that's grammatically correct.
[30:58] Speaker 2: I'm not gonna trust any corrections for you anymore.
[31:01] Speaker 1: Hey man. I was doing the chase pit, hey man,
[31:06] Speaker 1: hey man, taking a strangely disastrous celebrity trip into the
[31:10] Speaker 1: Earth's thermosphere. She Gail King and then Bezos bride to
[31:14] Speaker 1: be Lauren Sanchez, took Bezos's Blue Origin rocket into the
[31:18] Speaker 1: very nearest edge of space. Okay, so they're just talking
[31:20] Speaker 1: about that.
[31:20] Speaker 2: Now, they're just twitch stories. Yeah, they were like, oh,
[31:23] Speaker 2: by the way, she was spotted with Justin Trudeau and
[31:25] Speaker 2: she went to space. By the way, here's the details
[31:28] Speaker 2: of her going to space. Uh well, I saw last
[31:31] Speaker 2: night that there was a little bit of footage that
[31:35] Speaker 2: was taken outside of a restaurant of Katy Perry and
[31:39] Speaker 2: Justin Trudeau. So it's very interesting you're bringing this up. Wow,
[31:42] Speaker 2: and they were holding hands and walking to a car.
[31:45] Speaker 2: So break, I'm without. I'm just without about that. I'm without.
[31:50] Speaker 3: I am without.
[31:54] Speaker 4: If you were married to Orlando Bloom, I don't know
[31:58] Speaker 4: if they were married have kids. I think if you
[32:01] Speaker 4: were with Orlando Bloom and then the Canadian Prime minister
[32:06] Speaker 4: wants to go out with you, are you doing that,
[32:08] Speaker 4: I'm trying to get Orlando Bloom.
[32:10] Speaker 1: Back, dude, Yeah, just as your dough like he was
[32:15] Speaker 1: prime minister, but now that he's former prime minister, that the.
[32:19] Speaker 2: Power, you know.
[32:20] Speaker 4: Can I ask you guys a question and you promise
[32:22] Speaker 4: you won't make fun of me for not knowing mm hmm.
[32:25] Speaker 1: I would not a place to make fun of you
[32:27] Speaker 1: right now, I'm without honestly about this whole situation. See,
[32:32] Speaker 1: you guys are trying to drag me down, but I
[32:34] Speaker 1: just came up with a killer phrase that I you angry?
[32:40] Speaker 3: Why why was justin Trudeau? Why why did he leave
[32:43] Speaker 3: the prime minister ship?
[32:44] Speaker 2: He didn't want to do it anymore?
[32:46] Speaker 3: No, i' is that how it works?
[32:49] Speaker 2: It was news around it, but I'm trying to remember
[32:51] Speaker 2: what it was.
[32:55] Speaker 1: I was about to say, we have a lot of
[32:56] Speaker 1: Canadian listeners. You are gonna have to fill us in.
[32:57] Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I'm sorry, Canada, We've kind of had
[33:00] Speaker 2: our own weird stuff going on.
[33:03] Speaker 4: Oh oh, you guys have a strange leader. Yeah, must
[33:07] Speaker 4: be so hard for you.
[33:08] Speaker 2: Where just trying to keep up out of it.
[33:11] Speaker 1: Please please fill so I do I want to close
[33:15] Speaker 1: right now by bringing something up and yes, I want
[33:19] Speaker 1: to close with please give me your money. Uh. Chase
[33:24] Speaker 1: referenced were wolves in London on the previous show.
[33:27] Speaker 2: That's true, and you.
[33:28] Speaker 1: Know, me and Brand had never heard of it. And
[33:30] Speaker 1: then Brand was like, I thought y'all were the Chase
[33:32] Speaker 1: was like I thought y'all were the music people that
[33:34] Speaker 1: it's one of the most popular songs of all time.
[33:37] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[33:37] Speaker 1: And then so I asked Google a very straightforward question.
[33:40] Speaker 1: I said, well, is where pause? Okay, pause pause? Because
[33:44] Speaker 1: p D. I also talked with p D yesterday. It
[33:48] Speaker 1: said I've never once heard of this song, so I
[33:57] Speaker 1: don't know how to bring the tea chase. But I
[33:59] Speaker 1: was there and you were like, yo, aren't the music guys?
[34:02] Speaker 1: And then he contacts me and I was like yeah.
[34:05] Speaker 1: When he said it, I was like, I don't know
[34:07] Speaker 1: what song is, but I've never heard it. Yeah, I
[34:12] Speaker 1: don't even know who it's by right now. No, you
[34:19] Speaker 1: can't play it because we're gonna get copyright flag.
[34:21] Speaker 2: Actually I think we're okay on a podcast feed.
[34:24] Speaker 4: Yeah no, but YouTube, okay, can you Jonathan at least
[34:30] Speaker 4: listen to it when we're done here, I will maybe
[34:32] Speaker 4: it will You'll be like wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on,
[34:35] Speaker 4: I tell you what, give me like one second, give
[34:37] Speaker 4: me some dead air for a moment, or how about
[34:41] Speaker 4: you I'll talk I'll listen to it.
[34:44] Speaker 1: And so I asked Google a very straightforward question last night.
[34:47] Speaker 1: I said, is where wolves in London in the top
[34:49] Speaker 1: one hundred most popular songs of all time, and it
[34:51] Speaker 1: said no where London is not in the top one
[34:55] Speaker 1: hundred most popular songs of all time. It is one
[34:58] Speaker 1: of Warren Zevon's most successful, unrecognizable songs.
[35:01] Speaker 3: Okay.
[35:02] Speaker 4: I was getting a lot of flak for this in
[35:03] Speaker 4: our patriot. I figured out why you know about it? Okay, yes,
[35:08] Speaker 4: and I will. We'll get into this because.
[35:11] Speaker 3: I exactly what.
[35:12] Speaker 2: By the way, I'm about to listen, but I'm having
[35:14] Speaker 2: to watch a Hulu ad really quick.
[35:16] Speaker 1: Jonathan, wait until you find out the reason Chase knows
[35:18] Speaker 1: about this song. It was very easy to put together
[35:21] Speaker 1: once I started doing some research.
[35:23] Speaker 2: Okay, I've begin I know this song. Okay, I've been getting.
[35:31] Speaker 4: Some flak ever since I said it was the most famous, which,
[35:36] Speaker 4: by the way, I just said, I don't even know
[35:38] Speaker 4: if I meant it.
[35:39] Speaker 3: I don't think I did.
[35:40] Speaker 1: Sounded very sincere when I listened back to it.
[35:44] Speaker 4: So the other night I google just to just to
[35:47] Speaker 4: see is were Wolves of London one of the most
[35:50] Speaker 4: famous songs of all time? It googles straight up just
[35:53] Speaker 4: goes no, not even.
[35:59] Speaker 2: Okay, I will, I'll make a correction to my redial statement,
[36:02] Speaker 2: which is, I am aware of this song, but I
[36:05] Speaker 2: am only aware of what I just realized is the
[36:09] Speaker 2: intro of this because as soon as he started seeing
[36:12] Speaker 2: I was like, yep, he lost me, Like I don't.
[36:15] Speaker 2: I don't know anything else about this song from.
[36:17] Speaker 1: Here for So now let's get into the obvious reason
[36:21] Speaker 1: of why this is something Chase would consider one of
[36:24] Speaker 1: the most popular songs of all time.
[36:26] Speaker 2: You want me to say it or do you want
[36:27] Speaker 2: to say yeah? Yeah?
[36:28] Speaker 5: You break it down, because I'm curious how you got
[36:30] Speaker 5: okay because it was sampled by Kid Rock in his
[36:34] Speaker 5: most streamed song of all time all summer long, and
[36:38] Speaker 5: not just sampled, he's straight up ripped the verse like
[36:41] Speaker 5: the verse instrumental, just straight up.
[36:45] Speaker 2: Ripped by what song is this? I've never listened to
[36:49] Speaker 2: a kid rock song, so I.
[36:51] Speaker 1: Had never either, except for bowing out whatever that is,
[36:54] Speaker 1: because you can't escape that one.
[36:55] Speaker 2: I'll just kind of hear it out and about.
[36:57] Speaker 3: Sometimes guys, guys, guys. The reason this song go ahead drivan.
[37:03] Speaker 2: I was about to say, as soon as I heard
[37:05] Speaker 2: this version, I was like, Oh, this is the version
[37:07] Speaker 2: I've heard, not the other one. So the kid oh okay,
[37:12] Speaker 2: I do know this kid Rock song? I would now
[37:15] Speaker 2: here's what I do wonder about it? Kid Rock All
[37:19] Speaker 2: Summer Long one of the most popular songs.
[37:24] Speaker 1: It's his most popular song on you.
[37:27] Speaker 4: One might be that one took over a whole year
[37:29] Speaker 4: of like twenty.
[37:30] Speaker 2: Twelve, it says, All Summer Long. Is considered a popular
[37:34] Speaker 2: song by Kid Rocks and one of his biggest solo hits,
[37:38] Speaker 2: but it is not one of the most popular songs
[37:41] Speaker 2: of all time.
[37:44] Speaker 3: Okay, now let's really get into the weeds of how
[37:46] Speaker 3: I know this song?
[37:47] Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, was it that downtown concert you went to
[37:50] Speaker 2: with all your friends? Yeah?
[37:52] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I went to the super Maga Kid Rock concert.
[37:55] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[37:56] Speaker 2: It was like, is this Werewolves of London? You're like,
[37:58] Speaker 2: is this the Justin Trudeau? Oh it's not.
[38:02] Speaker 1: Okay, Uh so I know this song.
[38:06] Speaker 3: One.
[38:07] Speaker 4: There's a movie called Werewolves, the American Werewolf in London. Okay,
[38:14] Speaker 4: it's a popular genre of werewolf movie. This is a
[38:19] Speaker 4: song that is very popular on Halloween playlists.
[38:23] Speaker 2: Oh right.
[38:24] Speaker 4: The reason the reason I said it's one of the
[38:28] Speaker 4: most famous songs of all time is because in my
[38:32] Speaker 4: head when I think Halloween songs, I think thriller and
[38:36] Speaker 4: were Wolves of.
[38:37] Speaker 1: London we could say thriller is one of the most yes.
[38:42] Speaker 4: And so it occurred to me after you guys all
[38:44] Speaker 4: were like, what are you talking about?
[38:46] Speaker 1: That?
[38:47] Speaker 4: Not everyone listened to those songs.
[38:51] Speaker 2: I have to give Chase. I have to give him
[38:54] Speaker 2: a little credit here because I looked up. I said
[38:57] Speaker 2: it is were Wolves in what London? One of the
[38:59] Speaker 2: most popular Halloween songs? And the answer I got was
[39:04] Speaker 2: no where?
[39:05] Speaker 1: What?
[39:05] Speaker 4: No?
[39:05] Speaker 2: I'm joking? Is it actually said yes? Where? Wolves of
[39:11] Speaker 2: London is a very popular Halloween song, often considered a
[39:16] Speaker 2: staple due to its catchy piano riff, humorous spooky lyrics.
[39:22] Speaker 2: While not a very iconic track of all time, it
[39:26] Speaker 2: is playful and slightly eerie thebe this is the dude,
[39:30] Speaker 2: what is with people's writing on the internet today?
[39:33] Speaker 4: Between h It's all trocious also, And I want to
[39:37] Speaker 4: say this too, because I was going to come in
[39:39] Speaker 4: hot with this American werewolf thing or the Werewolves of
[39:43] Speaker 4: London thing, because I was like, it occurred to me
[39:47] Speaker 4: after we recorded, and I was like, I can't believe
[39:49] Speaker 4: that they had never heard of that song. I was
[39:51] Speaker 4: gonna come in hot and be like you homeschooled Christian
[39:54] Speaker 4: Losers weren't allowed to have Halloween, so you don't know.
[39:59] Speaker 4: But then everyone in the Patreon chat is making fun
[40:02] Speaker 4: of me because they don't know.
[40:05] Speaker 3: I'm like, well, it can't be that.
[40:07] Speaker 2: I think was the Land.
[40:09] Speaker 1: No one knew this song, but Will didn't know the song.
[40:12] Speaker 1: Will loves the song.
[40:13] Speaker 4: Now, hey, there, you know, I'm just really without the
[40:17] Speaker 4: whole thing about the whole thing I'm without.
[40:19] Speaker 2: I'm really without. But Will is in fact wilden to
[40:23] Speaker 2: were Wolves of London.
[40:24] Speaker 1: Now, Chase, you used Spotify, Yeah, so I wish you

[42:31] Speaker 3: the hits.
[42:32] Speaker 4: Now would would I say that I'm like in touch
