Welcome to the Sanctuary... Actually Welcome to the Rob Show

## Transcript

[0:07] Speaker 1: Everything looks pink to me And that's my favorite color
[0:14] Speaker 1: So could we be my new favorite thing? Yeah And
[0:22] Speaker 1: that's my favorite color So could we be my new
[0:27] Speaker 1: favorite thing?
[0:31] Speaker 2: Patriots receiver Stephon Diggs on a yacht in Florida with.
[0:35] Speaker 3: A pink substance. Should the Pats keep him or get
[0:39] Speaker 3: rid of him? Let's talk about it next.
[0:41] Speaker 4: You were tuned in to the Rob Show.
[0:43] Speaker 3: You know, it's the Rob Show.
[0:46] Speaker 5: Welcome to the sanctuary, but today it's not the sanctuary.
[0:50] Speaker 5: It's the Rob Show.
[0:54] Speaker 3: Ugh, the Rob Show. God bless the Rob Show.
[0:57] Speaker 5: The Rob Show. And on the Rob Show, I have
[0:59] Speaker 5: Jax and Justin Clements. Here to talk all things Rob Antonson. Guys,
[1:04] Speaker 5: are you excited? Are you excited about this?
[1:07] Speaker 3: I just, I want to make sure that everybody knows.
[1:09] Speaker 3: I want to make sure that everybody knows. Like, we're
[1:11] Speaker 3: here not because, like, Rob quit. It was because Rob
[1:14] Speaker 3: was evacuated.
[1:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, he was medevaced. And he told, apparently, told someone
[1:20] Speaker 4: that he had met prior to this episode, get your
[1:25] Speaker 4: tissues ready.
[1:30] Speaker 3: Please go on.
[1:31] Speaker 4: I love Survivor Reddit so much. And apparently he had
[1:35] Speaker 4: met someone new at some sort of event. And I
[1:37] Speaker 4: was like, yeah, get the tissues ready. It's going to
[1:39] Speaker 4: be real tearjerker. This is before he saw the edit.
[1:42] Speaker 4: So I just love, I was having like a little reverie,
[1:47] Speaker 4: like a fantasy of imagining what Rob thought his edit
[1:50] Speaker 4: was going to look like.
[1:53] Speaker 3: Wow.
[1:54] Speaker 5: I just, I love that in his own mind, it's
[1:58] Speaker 5: just a completely different reality than what everybody else is experiencing.
[2:03] Speaker 5: And I think there's something beautiful about that.
[2:05] Speaker 3: Can I just like, as I like push my hair,
[2:09] Speaker 3: like behind my ears here, like instruct everybody, I do
[2:13] Speaker 3: feel like this is going to be low key and
[2:16] Speaker 3: episode on like PR management. I have a master's in
[2:21] Speaker 3: communications focus in PR because I wasn't, I was super
[2:24] Speaker 3: worried about like my future. This man, has done everything
[2:31] Speaker 3: but correct PR since, since he left. And I love
[2:36] Speaker 3: him for it so that we can come together to
[2:38] Speaker 3: this place for magic.
[2:39] Speaker 5: But like, I thought you were about to say he's
[2:42] Speaker 5: done everything perfectly and no one gets it.
[2:46] Speaker 3: So I'm, I'm of two minds because there was a
[2:50] Speaker 3: piece of me. So growing up when I was dropped
[2:55] Speaker 3: off at a kindergarten, like elementary school, The entire first year,
[3:00] Speaker 3: I hold a record that was not chronicled, but I
[3:04] Speaker 3: do believe it belongs to me, that I threw up
[3:07] Speaker 3: every day of elementary school because I was so sad
[3:12] Speaker 3: that I was leaving my mom. And, like, I would,
[3:15] Speaker 3: there was this, like, whole, like, diatribe I would do
[3:18] Speaker 3: is I would, like, walk in, I'd be like, I'm fine,
[3:20] Speaker 3: I'm fine, I'm fine. And then, like, as soon as
[3:23] Speaker 3: my mom would turn to leave, I would, like, do the,
[3:27] Speaker 3: and I would throw up. It is every single day.
[3:30] Speaker 3: So like, make no mistake. There are a lot of
[3:35] Speaker 3: people from my elementary school that will say like Justin
[3:39] Speaker 3: left every day because he like didn't have the emotional
[3:42] Speaker 3: like integrity to stick around. But the truth is, is
[3:46] Speaker 3: that I was injured on the bottom of my foot.
[3:51] Speaker 3: And every day that I threw up, I was unwell.
[3:54] Speaker 3: So I will be a full Rob defender in this
[3:57] Speaker 3: podcast today.
[3:59] Speaker 4: Can I just say, Justin, that now if that was
[4:03] Speaker 4: happening to a child, we would address that anxiety full
[4:08] Speaker 4: speed ahead. But you powered through. No, they beat me.
[4:13] Speaker 3: They beat me. And arguably in 2026, maybe Rob should
[4:20] Speaker 3: have been, I don't know, beaten a little bit.
[4:23] Speaker 5: You think Linnea should have beaten Rob out there?
[4:26] Speaker 3: Oh, God. Well, we're not talking about kinks here, but
[4:28] Speaker 3: like maybe.
[4:29] Speaker 4: We should be. It's been too long, honestly, since we've
[4:34] Speaker 4: talked about our kinks. You know, Justin, it's interesting that
[4:36] Speaker 4: you're talking about throwing up every day at school and
[4:40] Speaker 4: Rob with his pink substance because I'm going to share
[4:43] Speaker 4: a little tale from my kindergarten class where every morning
[4:47] Speaker 4: I would have strawberry milk for breakfast and and then
[4:53] Speaker 4: there was one day when I couldn't make it to
[4:55] Speaker 4: the bathroom, and then the pink substance, I threw it
[4:58] Speaker 4: up all over the scissors.
[5:00] Speaker 5: Jax with a pink substance.
[5:05] Speaker 4: At the end of the school year, so we had
[5:06] Speaker 4: nuns because I went to a Catholic school, and at
[5:10] Speaker 4: the end of the school year, you had to turn
[5:12] Speaker 4: in your scissors, and They were like, where are your scissors, Jacqueline?
[5:18] Speaker 4: And I was like, remember? I threw up on them.
[5:21] Speaker 4: And then they were like, oh, gotcha.
[5:24] Speaker 5: Turn in your scissors. It was like you had a
[5:30] Speaker 5: government issue.
[5:31] Speaker 3: Yeah. They were like, please.
[5:33] Speaker 4: You had to turn in your scissors and your pencils
[5:36] Speaker 4: and all your textbooks.
[5:37] Speaker 5: All right, kids. If somebody breaks in, we all get
[5:39] Speaker 5: the scissors and we rush.
[5:42] Speaker 3: So good. So good.
[5:44] Speaker 4: So all that is to say, PD, is that Justin
[5:46] Speaker 4: and I clearly can relate to Rob. So you have
[5:50] Speaker 4: the perfect people here in the sanctuary today.
[5:53] Speaker 5: Guys, I'm sorry about my camera. I don't know why
[5:56] Speaker 5: it does this, why it punches in and then like
[5:59] Speaker 5: goes back out all the time. I'm not doing it.
[6:01] Speaker 5: It's just the ghost of Steve Jobs deciding.
[6:05] Speaker 3: Can I interject? I think it is. And PD and
[6:10] Speaker 3: I met this summer at Bramble Fest. when we played
[6:15] Speaker 3: survivor together but i think that the camera like insert
[6:19] Speaker 3: and back up is like a little a gift to
[6:22] Speaker 3: me because like it's a little like kiss it's just
[6:25] Speaker 3: like yeah when it gets close i'm like oh there
[6:27] Speaker 3: he is and it's.
[6:29] Speaker 5: Okay i take it back i programmed that in there
[6:32] Speaker 5: on purpose god.
[6:33] Speaker 4: Bless you i kind of love it oh there it
[6:35] Speaker 4: is there it is wait did It's like the video
[6:39] Speaker 4: that you sent our group chat of you at the
[6:42] Speaker 4: Charlie XCX concert. And when you zoom in on her.
[6:45] Speaker 5: Cleavage, I've... Hey, I'm the feminist around here. You don't
[6:49] Speaker 5: bring stuff like that up.
[6:50] Speaker 4: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Well, I've watched it now
[6:53] Speaker 4: the tallies probably 21 or 22 times. And I just
[6:56] Speaker 4: think it was gorgeous camera work. I don't think you
[6:58] Speaker 4: were doing it to be a weirdo or perverted at all.
[7:01] Speaker 4: I think you're just an excellent cinematographer.
[7:05] Speaker 5: Let's start with the thing that kicked all of this off.
[7:08] Speaker 5: It was a video of Rob that was captioned, let's
[7:10] Speaker 5: talk about the tea. And it's like him slowly walking
[7:15] Speaker 5: up in the airport. And then he bends over and
[7:19] Speaker 5: he sees a bunch of Instagram notifications. And he's like,
[7:21] Speaker 5: a lot of people want to know what went down,
[7:23] Speaker 5: what's going on, especially from tonight's episode. I'm not going
[7:28] Speaker 5: to tell you tonight. You'll have to wait until tomorrow.
[7:32] Speaker 5: And then he walks away. And what's really funny is
[7:35] Speaker 5: imagining that, you know, he has to turn around, go
[7:38] Speaker 5: back and hit, like, stop on the recording and then
[7:41] Speaker 5: crop out him walking back. Yes. But in the comments
[7:47] Speaker 5: of this, I mean, it got 400 or 100,000 views,
[7:52] Speaker 5: 400 comments. I think one of them was Shaheen. Oh, wait, no,
[7:57] Speaker 5: that's another one. But I just I love in all
[7:59] Speaker 5: the comments how people are like, you know, I can't
[8:02] Speaker 5: believe you quit. And he's like, thanks for the engagement.
[8:04] Speaker 5: Can't believe you care about a reality show.
[8:06] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[8:11] Speaker 5: So what, how do y'all, what do y'all think about
[8:13] Speaker 5: the introduction to, to the crash out?
[8:18] Speaker 3: Do you think this was like it? Like, do you
[8:21] Speaker 3: think this was his game? Like, do you think that
[8:25] Speaker 3: he ever wanted to win survivor? Because like, I swear
[8:28] Speaker 3: to God, like after seeing everything, I don't, I don't
[8:31] Speaker 3: know that he was ever playing for the end game,
[8:34] Speaker 3: especially considering the bra, the Rob show. Yeah. Of it all. Hmm.
[8:40] Speaker 5: So you think he just wanted a little clout and then,
[8:42] Speaker 5: then he was done.
[8:43] Speaker 3: Like I go on Jackson.
[8:46] Speaker 5: No, no, no, no.
[8:46] Speaker 4: You go ahead.
[8:47] Speaker 3: I just think that there is something so God, I
[8:53] Speaker 3: hate using this word, but like, there's just something like
[8:57] Speaker 3: he's something so like pussy about it. And the reason
[9:02] Speaker 3: that I like don't want to use that word is
[9:05] Speaker 3: because I actually think that like pussies are quite like strong.
[9:10] Speaker 3: And I don't think he is. Like, I just think
[9:13] Speaker 3: that like he showed up to a thing and he
[9:16] Speaker 3: was like, I'm going to leverage this for as long
[9:18] Speaker 3: as I can stand. And six days ended up being it.
[9:22] Speaker 3: And then he left and was like, well, you guys don't,
[9:26] Speaker 3: you guys don't know the whole story. And it's like, well,
[9:29] Speaker 3: I think that you were betting that you would last
[9:32] Speaker 3: maybe 10 days and you didn't get there. It just
[9:36] Speaker 3: feels so fucking baloney.
[9:39] Speaker 5: What do you think, Jax? Do you think he wanted
[9:41] Speaker 5: to be out there?
[9:42] Speaker 4: So I think that Rob desperately wanted to be on
[9:48] Speaker 4: any reality show that would take him. I think he
[9:50] Speaker 4: would have been amazing on big brother. I actually think,
[9:54] Speaker 4: He would have been really interesting and hilarious on Traitors
[9:58] Speaker 4: as well. This man was not built for Survivor. He
[10:02] Speaker 4: didn't watch the show. I think he thought that it
[10:04] Speaker 4: was one of those things where it's like, it's reality TV.
[10:08] Speaker 4: I'm sure you're still sleeping at night, and it's not
[10:09] Speaker 4: really that intense. But to Justin's point, which I fully
[10:12] Speaker 4: agree with, I don't think he thought or necessarily cared
[10:17] Speaker 4: about winning, but there's no way that this man did
[10:20] Speaker 4: not think that he wasn't making it to the jury,
[10:23] Speaker 4: and he 100% was like, I'm not going to win,
[10:27] Speaker 4: but I'm going to be the fan favorite. I'm going
[10:29] Speaker 4: to get the SIA award that they're going to bring back,
[10:32] Speaker 4: and they're going to give it to me because I'm
[10:34] Speaker 4: everybody's favorite. Yes, he thought he was going to be beloved,
[10:38] Speaker 4: and yes, Then when he realized he couldn't hack it,
[10:44] Speaker 4: he was like, okay, I'm going to be really strategic
[10:48] Speaker 4: and I'm going to control my edit.
[10:51] Speaker 5: And so he tries with Eric. Like the Eric thing
[10:54] Speaker 5: was his first attempt at going out in a blaze
[10:56] Speaker 5: of glory. And then, you know, that didn't work. So
[10:59] Speaker 5: he's like, okay, fake an injury.
[11:01] Speaker 4: Can I.
[11:05] Speaker 3: Can I tell you, Jax, why I don't think that
[11:08] Speaker 3: he would have done well on Big Brother?
[11:10] Speaker 1: Yes.
[11:11] Speaker 3: Because Dee did a lot of, like, press on Big
[11:16] Speaker 3: Brother after she exited. And she said the difference between
[11:19] Speaker 3: Big Brother and Survivor is that Survivor is, like, so fast. And, like,
[11:26] Speaker 3: the cameras are on you when they're on you. But, like,
[11:29] Speaker 3: ultimately there is a little bit of downtime. And, like,
[11:31] Speaker 3: all of you become, like, trauma bonded. by this experience
[11:36] Speaker 3: where like you're submerged in the survivor of it all.
[11:40] Speaker 3: Whereas big brother, you're constantly being filmed. And I think
[11:45] Speaker 3: if Rob were constantly being filmed within the first week,
[11:49] Speaker 3: it would, it would have revealed that like, he's just
[11:53] Speaker 3: a little like baby. Like, I don't think, I think
[11:57] Speaker 3: he would have made it less time game wise and
[12:01] Speaker 3: big brother and, than he would have game-wise in Survivor.
[12:06] Speaker 3: Because I just think that he's like a child.
[12:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree. The way he talks about being... I'm
[12:17] Speaker 4: sure he's a great dad. I'm sure he has lots
[12:19] Speaker 4: of fun with his kids. But the way he talks
[12:21] Speaker 4: about the amount of responsibility he has as a dad,
[12:24] Speaker 4: I sort of want to reach out to his wife
[12:26] Speaker 4: and be like, baby girl, how you doing?
[12:29] Speaker 3: What does he do?
[12:29] Speaker 4: Do you feel like you have four kids?
[12:33] Speaker 5: He works in the airport. We saw the menacing video
[12:36] Speaker 5: of him walking up and walking away.
[12:38] Speaker 3: Couple of them.
[12:39] Speaker 4: And his wife is a travel nurse. So they make bank.
[12:43] Speaker 4: So I do understand that he is at home with
[12:46] Speaker 4: his children a lot. But there's something about the way.
[12:51] Speaker 4: And this is a very, I will say, I feel
[12:53] Speaker 4: like this. And please correct me if I'm wrong. I
[12:56] Speaker 4: love to be called out. I love to be called in.
[12:57] Speaker 4: I have flexible thinking. I like to change my mind.
[13:00] Speaker 4: I feel like it is a very male thing to
[13:03] Speaker 4: care so much about legacy and your name and about
[13:10] Speaker 4: like this presentation out into the world. And I feel
[13:13] Speaker 4: like that is what he cares so desperately about is
[13:17] Speaker 4: looking like a good man and having an excellent reputation.
[13:21] Speaker 4: But now that he doesn't have that, he's like, well, okay,
[13:25] Speaker 4: at least if I can make a splash.
[13:27] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[13:27] Speaker 5: Let's talk about the first big splash of, It was
[13:30] Speaker 5: the video that got 432,000 views as of me reading this.
[13:36] Speaker 5: And it was that weird laughing sound that he put
[13:40] Speaker 5: on it. Let me.
[13:41] Speaker 4: Yeah, this.
[13:44] Speaker 5: And then it's just a wall of text. He's sipping
[13:47] Speaker 5: a mug. And there's a wall of text that says,
[13:50] Speaker 5: the amount of people who are crying right now over
[13:53] Speaker 5: somebody leaving or quitting, quitting in quotation marks, a TV
[13:57] Speaker 5: show is alarming. You people are crying over a TV show,
[14:01] Speaker 5: a game, some weird-ass energy right now, soft-ass society.
[14:07] Speaker 3: Can I just, like, chime in? I do want to
[14:11] Speaker 3: ask you, PD, before we move on. Like, what's your, like,
[14:16] Speaker 3: gut take on Rob's leaving?
[14:20] Speaker 5: I mean, on his leaving, it was... disgraceful it was
[14:23] Speaker 5: pathetic it was an insult to everybody who's applied to
[14:26] Speaker 5: survivor and didn't get on and wouldn't have quit for
[14:29] Speaker 5: no reason but his handling of it afterwards i think
[14:32] Speaker 5: is hilarious.
[14:34] Speaker 3: Oh hundo p i think so i'm a my like
[14:39] Speaker 3: day job is journalist um my day job is is
[14:43] Speaker 3: boy um my day job is journalist there was um
[14:48] Speaker 3: when the lover album uh from taylor swift came out
[14:51] Speaker 3: I love that album. The lead single was You Need
[14:54] Speaker 3: to Calm Down. I am a, if you can't tell
[14:58] Speaker 3: by the voice, a card-carrying homosexual. And when I was
[15:04] Speaker 3: working my job, my employer was like, won't you write
[15:07] Speaker 3: a take about You Need to Calm Down? Because it
[15:10] Speaker 3: was very LGBTQ-oriented, all that. And I said, I felt
[15:14] Speaker 3: like Taylor... Swift had created a song that like met
[15:20] Speaker 3: the moment when it was popular to like support gay people.
[15:25] Speaker 3: And it was like the like lowest common denominator to
[15:29] Speaker 3: like bring in that audience. That review was one of
[15:36] Speaker 3: the worst things that's happened to me in my entire career.
[15:40] Speaker 3: It was also put into a Wikipedia article. And to
[15:44] Speaker 3: this day, I get at least two to four death
[15:47] Speaker 3: threats a year from people that are like, you should
[15:52] Speaker 3: kill yourself because like you would ever come for somebody
[15:57] Speaker 3: that's like trying to do any like good for like
[16:00] Speaker 3: the LGBT community. And when it was published, it was insane. Yeah.
[16:05] Speaker 3: So the idea that this man is getting like any
[16:10] Speaker 3: kind of like flack from the survivor fandom that rivals
[16:15] Speaker 3: like the Swifties coming into my inbox and being like,
[16:18] Speaker 3: if I knew where you were, I would kill you myself.
[16:21] Speaker 3: Like brother, like it is, there is a certain.
[16:26] Speaker 5: Well, are you saying that you didn't have a massive
[16:28] Speaker 5: crash out online and respond to every single one of them?
[16:31] Speaker 3: No, I stayed home and ate chicken wings like a
[16:34] Speaker 3: normal person. But like this man, I feel like it
[16:37] Speaker 3: is so soft spined that he's just like, you guys
[16:42] Speaker 3: don't understand it. And like the crash out this week,
[16:47] Speaker 3: from a personal perspective, I'm like, dude, you're annoying. But
[16:50] Speaker 3: from like a take in the entertainment perspective, it's been
[16:54] Speaker 3: amazing because he has crashed the fuck out and it's amazing. Yeah.
[17:00] Speaker 4: First of all, Justin, I'm sorry that happened to you.
[17:02] Speaker 4: And I feel like I'm somewhat responsible. I'm not a Swifty.
[17:07] Speaker 4: But my fellow millennial white women who I need to
[17:11] Speaker 4: round up and be like, ladies, we are the new
[17:15] Speaker 4: white men, okay? We are, we're not doing great, okay?
[17:19] Speaker 4: So first of all, also now everything that has happened
[17:22] Speaker 4: or that everything now that Taylor Swift has not said,
[17:25] Speaker 4: I think speaks volumes and you were ahead of the curve.
[17:28] Speaker 4: I won't be getting into that. on this podcast because
[17:31] Speaker 4: that's another podcast, but there's something about Rob and this
[17:36] Speaker 4: is what I almost find the funniest and to be honest,
[17:41] Speaker 4: saddest about it. He's actually acting like this is going
[17:46] Speaker 4: more viral and like he's having more trolls than he
[17:50] Speaker 4: does and that feels almost sadder to me.
[17:53] Speaker 3: Yes.
[17:55] Speaker 5: Oh, that's amazing. Yeah, you're right.
[17:58] Speaker 3: It's very much like A lot of people have been saying,
[18:02] Speaker 3: and it's like, are a lot of the people in
[18:04] Speaker 3: the room with us? Like, can you direct me to
[18:09] Speaker 3: where a lot of the people are? And it's wild.
[18:12] Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, because before all this happened, he had a
[18:14] Speaker 5: video where he was talking about his move to try
[18:17] Speaker 5: to get rid of himself. And he was like, it's
[18:19] Speaker 5: going viral. The podcasts are talking about it. There are
[18:22] Speaker 5: articles about it. It's everywhere. But here's the truth. And
[18:25] Speaker 5: I don't remember what he said after that.
[18:27] Speaker 4: He goes, one of the things that I love to say,
[18:29] Speaker 4: he goes, no, no, no, it went semi-viral.
[18:35] Speaker 5: So for any fans listening, if you are also interested
[18:39] Speaker 5: in sending Justin death threats, you can do that at
[18:41] Speaker 5: makingthemergepod at gmail.com. Let's see, what else did Rob do?
[18:50] Speaker 5: There's more. You want to play him in the pool
[18:53] Speaker 5: or him with Dalton Ross or?
[18:54] Speaker 4: I think you have to play him in the pool
[18:57] Speaker 4: because also the fact that this man has this really
[19:02] Speaker 4: luxurious pool in Rhode Island. He's talking about people on
[19:05] Speaker 4: the East Coast, how they're so tough. And I'm like,
[19:07] Speaker 4: you are sitting in that pool that your wife paid
[19:10] Speaker 4: for for you. Nothing wrong with that. I love a
[19:12] Speaker 4: strong woman who makes money and I love a woman
[19:14] Speaker 4: who's the breadwinner. But yeah.
[19:19] Speaker 3: Can I take us to niche for a second?
[19:22] Speaker 2: Please.
[19:24] Speaker 5: Are you about to read your death threats?
[19:28] Speaker 3: Hold on. Let me go through. Justin, you're a stupid...
[19:31] Speaker 3: Never mind. When I watched the video of him in
[19:35] Speaker 3: the pool, right? I really wanted to like read the moment.
[19:40] Speaker 3: And I was like, it would be too on the
[19:43] Speaker 3: nose and hateful to talk about his like peck tattoo.
[19:47] Speaker 3: Because that's a whole thing. But I did see him...
[19:50] Speaker 3: holding a Corona. Yeah. A Corona as he like waited
[19:56] Speaker 3: throughout this pool with like his tiny, tiny little like
[19:59] Speaker 3: foot cut. And I just like, am I being too
[20:06] Speaker 3: harsh in that like, I can't respect you if you're
[20:10] Speaker 3: like beer of choice is a Corona.
[20:15] Speaker 5: I'm not a beer drinker. So I don't even, I
[20:16] Speaker 5: don't have opinions one way or the other.
[20:19] Speaker 3: I'm not either, but like I have taste.
[20:21] Speaker 4: So my, my partner, Alex, who you've both met his
[20:25] Speaker 4: beer of choice is a Corona, but he's a soft,
[20:27] Speaker 4: whimsical British boy. And you know that I like women
[20:31] Speaker 4: like that. Like I need something a little softer.
[20:33] Speaker 3: It's a soft, whimsical, whimsical British boy.
[20:38] Speaker 5: My grandma's favorite beer is a Corona. So Justin is
[20:40] Speaker 5: coming after our loved ones here.
[20:42] Speaker 3: Oh, bet your fucking ass I am.
[20:46] Speaker 4: I just hear grandma kicking back a Corona PD.
[20:50] Speaker 5: Yeah, she loves them. She got really mad when I
[20:52] Speaker 5: pulled one out in front of her pastor. That was
[20:55] Speaker 5: a whole thing.
[20:56] Speaker 4: Does she do Corona light or just the regular?
[20:59] Speaker 5: Just the regular.
[21:01] Speaker 4: That's a real one. No, but I actually, Justin, interestingly enough,
[21:06] Speaker 4: To your point, I am shocked that either Rob drinks
[21:09] Speaker 4: Corona or he's going to let us know that he
[21:12] Speaker 4: drinks Corona.
[21:13] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[21:13] Speaker 5: Hey, in the comments of this video, what's your opinion
[21:15] Speaker 5: on Corona? We really need to like discuss this as
[21:18] Speaker 5: a group.
[21:20] Speaker 3: And Corona, if we don't feel like you have, we
[21:23] Speaker 3: have like besmirched your reputation, would you want to sponsor?
[21:28] Speaker 3: Who's to say? Sorry. Wait, what?
[21:30] Speaker 5: All right. Let's play Rob in the pool. Did you
[21:34] Speaker 5: want to say anything else before we get into robbing
[21:36] Speaker 5: the pool?
[21:36] Speaker 3: No, please.
[21:37] Speaker 5: Please play it. This is going to be three minutes,
[21:39] Speaker 5: so I'm going to cut it off somewhere. We can't
[21:41] Speaker 5: just sit here for three minutes and listen to rob.
[21:46] Speaker 2: Your feelings and your emotions not show weakness so I
[21:48] Speaker 2: mean that's what I was trying to do that's why
[21:50] Speaker 2: I didn't tell my tribe anything about it and uh
[21:52] Speaker 2: when it came to the doc you know you Survivor
[21:55] Speaker 2: and CBS does a great job of doing the check-ins
[21:57] Speaker 2: with the doc all the time and I always told
[22:00] Speaker 2: the doc I'm good to go I'm a-okay so from
[22:03] Speaker 2: the Survivor side they thought I was healthy ready to
[22:06] Speaker 2: go but I wasn't so I dealt with this injury
[22:11] Speaker 2: for the days leading up to day six and started
[22:15] Speaker 2: with my foot and then it was the whole leg
[22:19] Speaker 2: just had just pain you know I was getting chills
[22:21] Speaker 2: at night couldn't sleep probably slept you know two to
[22:24] Speaker 2: three hours at night and again you know in the
[22:26] Speaker 2: game of survival you don't eat you don't drink really
[22:29] Speaker 2: you're not getting any of that so put the pain
[22:31] Speaker 2: in and no sleep I mean it's just it's a
[22:33] Speaker 2: Molotov cocktail of not success so anyways we.
[22:38] Speaker 5: Arrived not success.
[22:41] Speaker 2: And my leg shot I know I'm probably done. I mean,
[22:45] Speaker 2: I had to make a decision. I was contemplating the
[22:46] Speaker 2: decision back and forth. You know, do I say for
[22:49] Speaker 2: myself a selfish reason or I have three kids at
[22:52] Speaker 2: home and I have to be a full-time daddy. I'm
[22:54] Speaker 2: not a deadbeat dad. I'm a dad that when my
[22:56] Speaker 2: wife's working.
[22:58] Speaker 3: As a nurse in California, I'm taking care of all
[22:59] Speaker 3: three kids.
[23:00] Speaker 2: I'm traveling with all three kids. So they need me.
[23:04] Speaker 2: So I made the decision that I was going to
[23:06] Speaker 2: take myself out due to my injury because I know
[23:10] Speaker 2: there's crazy things that can happen with an infection.
[23:14] Speaker 5: Okay, that's enough.
[23:15] Speaker 4: I don't... Can I? Okay, so.
[23:19] Speaker 5: The deadbeat dad. I looked at you. I looked right
[23:21] Speaker 5: at you when he said that because you've been throwing
[23:23] Speaker 5: those accusations out there, but here he is in the
[23:25] Speaker 5: pool with the corona saying I'm not a deadbeat dad.
[23:27] Speaker 1: I'm not.
[23:28] Speaker 4: It's like when a nice guy... It's like when a
[23:30] Speaker 4: guy tells you he's a nice guy and I'm like,
[23:33] Speaker 4: you know, if you're a nice guy, you don't have
[23:35] Speaker 4: to tell me you're a nice guy. And I think
[23:37] Speaker 4: that the interesting thing about this with Rob is.
[23:43] Speaker 4: I am sure that new mothers, and this is some
[23:45] Speaker 4: of the discourse online, which I'm loving. They're like, you
[23:48] Speaker 4: know that man, even when he had each of his
[23:50] Speaker 4: three newborns, was like sleeping through the night. Plenty of
[23:53] Speaker 4: parents only sleep two, three hours a night. As someone
[23:57] Speaker 4: who has never been a parent, but has worked all
[23:59] Speaker 4: sorts of weird schedules to Three hours is a full
[24:04] Speaker 4: sleep cycle, baby. If you're getting three hours, you actually
[24:09] Speaker 4: feel pretty okay. So I don't want to hear.
[24:15] Speaker 2: It, Rob.
[24:16] Speaker 4: And I think the funny thing is, though, is that
[24:21] Speaker 4: someone commented below the video that you were referring to earlier,
[24:26] Speaker 4: PD of the text.
[24:28] Speaker 5: The wall of text with the coffee mug.
[24:31] Speaker 3: Yes.
[24:31] Speaker 4: And this comment has nearly as many likes as the
[24:34] Speaker 4: video itself. And someone put that he just commented that
[24:41] Speaker 4: Rob is Schrodinger's douchebag. A guy who says offensive things
[24:48] Speaker 4: and decides whether he was joking or not. based on
[24:51] Speaker 4: the reaction of people around him. And I think that
[24:53] Speaker 4: Rob is, he is not spending time with his kids
[24:56] Speaker 4: or his wife or creating like more pink substance videos.
[25:01] Speaker 4: He is on TikTok. He is on Instagram, religiously monitoring
[25:09] Speaker 4: everything that people are saying to figure out what his
[25:11] Speaker 4: next move is. And I kind of admire that in
[25:13] Speaker 4: the sense of like, yeah, if you can do some
[25:16] Speaker 4: stuff that's really going to catch fire, even to get
[25:18] Speaker 4: haters and stuff, I think that's great. I don't know
[25:20] Speaker 4: if he's that skilled that he's even going to be
[25:22] Speaker 4: able to do that. What do you guys think?
[25:26] Speaker 3: I think that if, so I used to have to
[25:29] Speaker 3: go on these hunts with my dad. I grew up
[25:32] Speaker 3: in East Tennessee. My dad's like a big, like big
[25:35] Speaker 3: game hunter. So there are two weekends a year. that
[25:40] Speaker 3: are reserved for hunters between the ages of 10 and 16.
[25:46] Speaker 3: So between the ages of 10 and 16, I had
[25:49] Speaker 3: to go on four hunts a year, two weekends, both
[25:53] Speaker 3: weekend days, every year. I hated it. And every time
[25:58] Speaker 3: that we would go out there, I would get a
[26:00] Speaker 3: stomach ache. And I would be like, and it wasn't real.
[26:05] Speaker 3: I was just like desperately trying to get out of
[26:08] Speaker 3: going to the hunting. And it wasn't because I didn't
[26:10] Speaker 3: want to kill animals. It was just because I didn't
[26:11] Speaker 3: want to wake up early and like be out there
[26:13] Speaker 3: with my dad. And I do think there's a certain
[26:17] Speaker 3: level of respect that I would have garnered if I
[26:22] Speaker 3: had said at a certain point, I just don't want
[26:25] Speaker 3: to be out here. Like it's not my vibe. I'm
[26:29] Speaker 3: not thriving. I don't want to wake up early. I
[26:32] Speaker 3: don't want to do this. And that's kind of what
[26:35] Speaker 3: I get from this. That like, if he had just
[26:39] Speaker 3: been like, cause every time he adds another layer of
[26:42] Speaker 3: like why I had to leave. One of my other
[26:46] Speaker 3: favorite like lessons that I learned from my dad early on,
[26:49] Speaker 3: and this is kind of rough. He said, if you're
[26:52] Speaker 3: going to tell a lie, tell one lie. Don't tell
[26:56] Speaker 3: multiple lies. Like don't say like, I didn't kill like
[27:01] Speaker 3: Nicole Brown Simpson or, Because like the glove didn't fit.
[27:06] Speaker 3: And also like she wasn't there. And also I like
[27:09] Speaker 3: I loved her. And also like I was out with friends.
[27:11] Speaker 3: Like tell one lie. The glove didn't fit. That's it.
[27:16] Speaker 3: So like I just kind of feel like this like
[27:19] Speaker 3: building on things where he's like, well, like, you know,
[27:22] Speaker 3: and this and this and that. Just tell everybody I
[27:25] Speaker 3: didn't want to be out there anymore. I was sad.
[27:29] Speaker 3: It was hard. I know I look tough. I help
[27:32] Speaker 3: people get into their planes. That's what I'm best at.
[27:35] Speaker 3: I want to go home.
[27:36] Speaker 5: That's really good advice if you want to manage your
[27:39] Speaker 5: reputation and if you want to get acquitted for murder.
[27:43] Speaker 3: Of course.
[27:44] Speaker 5: So just keep that in mind, everybody.
[27:46] Speaker 3: Wait, Petey, what's your thoughts? I want to know yours.
[27:51] Speaker 5: Well, on him becoming a lol cow. Are y'all familiar
[27:53] Speaker 5: with the term lol cow?
[27:55] Speaker 3: No.
[27:56] Speaker 5: So it's like LOL cow. This is what he is doing.
[28:02] Speaker 5: It's like when you're a YouTuber and then you become
[28:04] Speaker 5: disgraced and then the only community that you have is
[28:09] Speaker 5: people who watch just to hate you. And they'll give
[28:12] Speaker 5: you money to have you do embarrassing things. And it's
[28:15] Speaker 5: just this weird cycle that feeds into itself. And he's
[28:20] Speaker 5: a survivor lolcow and maybe the first one I've ever seen.
[28:26] Speaker 4: And, okay, hear me out here. In a world that
[28:30] Speaker 4: is so fractured that where people can't agree on anything,
[28:37] Speaker 4: there is something that is beautiful about the comments.
[28:40] Speaker 5: That Rob uniting us all?
[28:41] Speaker 2: Yes!
[28:42] Speaker 4: With his lol cow.
[28:44] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[28:45] Speaker 4: Everyone in the comments, what I'm actually seeing is not
[28:48] Speaker 4: people being... I mean, of course, you have that occasional
[28:54] Speaker 4: like stray comment or something that's like really nasty or
[28:57] Speaker 4: below the belt. But let's be real, you guys. I
[29:00] Speaker 4: spent an afternoon scrolling through his comments on Instagram, on TikTok,
[29:07] Speaker 4: Survivor Reddit.
[29:07] Speaker 1: And.
[29:09] Speaker 4: It brought me not a feeling of like anger or toxicity,
[29:13] Speaker 4: but pure unbridled joy. I love talking shit on people
[29:20] Speaker 4: when it is low stakes and it is funny. And
[29:24] Speaker 4: that is what this man is giving us. Right?
[29:28] Speaker 3: On top of that, I do feel like there is
[29:30] Speaker 3: something about... In these moments, you have to look at
[29:36] Speaker 3: not just what's being presented to you by the person,
[29:40] Speaker 3: but how that person is being received. And like, nobody
[29:46] Speaker 3: from this cast is trying to be like, no, the
[29:50] Speaker 3: Heron and the Otter are my friends.
[29:52] Speaker 5: Like, yeah. I mean, like Jax can tell you this
[29:55] Speaker 5: from us going to the watch party, Linnea, Ori and
[29:57] Speaker 5: Lewis were like, fuck that guy. And like, here's all
[30:00] Speaker 5: the reasons why he sucks and he's a liar in
[30:02] Speaker 5: this episode. And this was before any of us knew
[30:04] Speaker 5: that this was going to happen.
[30:06] Speaker 4: And Pantsless Pat is pissed because her exit is getting
[30:11] Speaker 4: overshadowed by Rob's exit press.
[30:14] Speaker 3: Well, did you guys see Anna's response? No.
[30:17] Speaker 5: What did Anna say? I heard she said she loved me,
[30:20] Speaker 5: but other than that.
[30:21] Speaker 3: Anna was like.
[30:21] Speaker 4: She did. She loves PD. We all do.
[30:23] Speaker 3: Anna said something to the effect of, wait, so if
[30:27] Speaker 3: Rob had quit during my... vote out would I still
[30:31] Speaker 3: be in the game and it was like dead skull
[30:33] Speaker 3: emoji dead skull emoji and I'm like if I'm Anna
[30:37] Speaker 3: I'm bad and you guys know I've said it enough
[30:40] Speaker 3: on this podcast alone not an Anna fan but if
[30:43] Speaker 3: I'm Anna I'm pissed because I'm like dude like you
[30:48] Speaker 3: could have like bowed out and I could have still
[30:50] Speaker 3: played the game I could have and per survivor history
[30:54] Speaker 3: like Anna two days is far enough to resurrect your
[30:59] Speaker 3: game Like, Anna could still be in the game if
[31:03] Speaker 3: Rob had just been, I'll say it, man enough to
[31:07] Speaker 3: have been like, I'm a little baby. I can't be here.
[31:10] Speaker 3: My hard cut hurt me earlier. Like, get out of here.
[31:14] Speaker 5: And not a little baby in the fun way like me.
[31:18] Speaker 4: PD, nobody is a little baby in the fun way
[31:21] Speaker 4: like you. You're special.
[31:22] Speaker 3: PD, mommy and daddy would love to hold you. And
[31:25] Speaker 3: you can figure out who's mommy.
[31:27] Speaker 5: And who's daddy. Will mommy and daddy pay for my
[31:29] Speaker 5: flight to New York? No, mommy.
[31:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll get you on Frontier. Okay.
[31:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, daddy.
[31:35] Speaker 4: I'll do it, Justin. Justin, I'll take you to Greenville.
[31:38] Speaker 5: Give me Alex's number. He'll get it done.
[31:41] Speaker 4: Alex was like, should I fly Justin to Greenville? He
[31:45] Speaker 4: did actually say that to me. Wow. I was like,
[31:47] Speaker 4: maybe you should.
[31:49] Speaker 5: But one of my favorite things about all of this.
[31:50] Speaker 5: He can probably hear me. He's in the next room. Yeah,
[31:54] Speaker 5: get him in here and tell him to buy me
[31:55] Speaker 5: a flight. But when Shaheen commented on the wall of
[31:58] Speaker 5: text video. and he said calling people soft over quitting
[32:02] Speaker 5: or while quitting over a paper cut is top tier
[32:04] Speaker 5: trolling salute emoji and then robs his response which is
[32:10] Speaker 5: very eloquent he said you triggered question mark.
[32:16] Speaker 2: I loved it.
[32:18] Speaker 4: He he's he's going back with and you know what
[32:22] Speaker 4: it was also amazing he said on um the pod
[32:25] Speaker 4: has spoken when he was talking to Tyson, which was
[32:28] Speaker 4: brilliant because Tyson does an exit interview with panelists, Pat,
[32:33] Speaker 4: that is about like 30 minutes and is what, what
[32:37] Speaker 4: they say, according to survivor Reddit was likely contractually obligated
[32:42] Speaker 4: interview with Rob, where you can tell he's just not
[32:44] Speaker 4: having it. Rob is saying, I was built for this.
[32:49] Speaker 4: I was built for TV. I was built to have haters.
[32:52] Speaker 4: I have thick skin. I'm like, Okay, like maybe, like
[32:59] Speaker 4: maybe you were, but I don't think, the thing is
[33:05] Speaker 4: he's not actually, there's something to be said for someone
[33:10] Speaker 4: who can be so divisive and I don't know, unique
[33:16] Speaker 4: in the way that they can piss people off, that
[33:18] Speaker 4: they'd have true haters. Like I genuinely think that's an achievement.
[33:24] Speaker 4: I think this is a little bit going to be
[33:28] Speaker 4: a flash in the pan for him, much to his
[33:30] Speaker 4: disappointment because he wants to carry this forward.
[33:34] Speaker 3: I will do the opposite of what Jax is doing,
[33:37] Speaker 3: which is to dismiss him.
[33:39] Speaker 5: But do you think that it's real, this persona that
[33:42] Speaker 5: he's projecting? Or do you think it's a veneer and
[33:44] Speaker 5: he goes into the bathroom and he cries about what
[33:47] Speaker 5: people are saying to him?
[33:48] Speaker 3: I'll meet him where he's at.
[33:51] Speaker 5: So you're taking it at face value.
[33:53] Speaker 3: I take it at face value. I think he's a
[33:55] Speaker 3: Rhode Island bitch. I think that he's like talking out
[33:59] Speaker 3: of his ass. I think that he's being like harsh.
[34:02] Speaker 3: And if Rob ever wants to go in like a
[34:04] Speaker 3: fist fight against me, I'd welcome it because I think
[34:07] Speaker 3: I'd win. Like I legitimately think that I would like
[34:11] Speaker 3: do it because there's just, there's this like bullshit because
[34:15] Speaker 3: like you can't meet people like him where they're at
[34:19] Speaker 3: logically because Because he exists in this world where he's like,
[34:23] Speaker 3: I'm tougher than everybody. Like, I think that I'm strong.
[34:27] Speaker 3: No matter what you say, logically, is not going to, like,
[34:30] Speaker 3: meet me. And, like, correct, like, logically, we'll never be
[34:36] Speaker 3: able to meet you because, like, we're not on the
[34:37] Speaker 3: same plane. So, like, I just think he operates from this, like,
[34:41] Speaker 3: machismo place that just is so boring and, like, tired of... And, like,
[34:50] Speaker 3: I think that, honestly, it's, like, a gift to us
[34:53] Speaker 3: that he's gone this early because, like, nobody like him
[34:58] Speaker 3: has ever made it deep in Survivor. Not because he
[35:01] Speaker 3: can't win Survivor, but because, like, there's no character development.
[35:06] Speaker 3: There's nothing interesting to talk about because, like, he's not
[35:10] Speaker 3: a person. He's, like, a caricature that just exists in
[35:14] Speaker 3: the world.
[35:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, you know.
[35:19] Speaker 4: I think that to your question, PD, of whether he's
[35:23] Speaker 4: like crying in the bathroom about this, I think, and
[35:26] Speaker 4: he's pretty much all but said this, that he, of course,
[35:34] Speaker 4: it would be great if everyone liked him. He says,
[35:36] Speaker 4: I love my supporters. Of course I love my supporters,
[35:39] Speaker 4: but I also love my haters kind of thing. I think, yes,
[35:43] Speaker 4: does it bug him that people don't, quote unquote, get
[35:48] Speaker 4: him and that he has more supporters?
[35:50] Speaker 3: Sure.
[35:51] Speaker 4: But I really do think that as Justin's saying, this
[35:54] Speaker 4: is kind of a boring, tired trope of a man.
[35:57] Speaker 4: And I do think that ultimately him having what he
[36:02] Speaker 4: perceives as haters and getting attention is so much more
[36:06] Speaker 4: energizing and fuels him. It other than being forgotten or
[36:12] Speaker 4: dismissed or people just being like, oh, it's okay. Don't
[36:14] Speaker 4: worry about it, buddy. Like some people really don't like
[36:17] Speaker 4: that negative attention and would be like, oh, I just
[36:19] Speaker 4: wish people would leave me alone. I'm embarrassed. Not him.
[36:22] Speaker 4: I mean, what do you think, PD? What do you
[36:24] Speaker 4: think is really going on inside this man's head?
[36:28] Speaker 5: I think it's driving him insane and he wants to
[36:30] Speaker 5: control the narrative. And so I don't think it's real.
[36:34] Speaker 5: I think it does bother him. I don't think he's
[36:35] Speaker 5: necessarily crying in the bathroom about it, but I think
[36:38] Speaker 5: that He's definitely in a rage every morning. You know
[36:42] Speaker 5: that 100%, no doubt, he's making his coffee, and he's
[36:46] Speaker 5: scrolling Instagram, and he's scrolling TikTok, and he's reading the
[36:50] Speaker 5: hundreds of people saying stuff like, bro really thought he
[36:54] Speaker 5: cooked here, and to which he replied, you, like I
[36:57] Speaker 5: cooked you. He got him. Is there anything left to
[37:05] Speaker 5: say about Rob, or should... I mean, do you want
[37:08] Speaker 5: to move on to Maggie's earrings? We could just talk
[37:10] Speaker 5: about those for 20 minutes.
[37:11] Speaker 4: I mean, Justin definitely has thoughts on Maggie's earrings.
[37:16] Speaker 3: I would, you know, let's do a whole other episode
[37:19] Speaker 3: on Maggie's earrings. But I think when it comes to Rob,
[37:23] Speaker 3: what's interesting, and when I think of the place he's
[37:25] Speaker 3: positioning himself in, like, the Survivor fandom, is, like, would...
[37:31] Speaker 3: I think it's a cheap shot to take to say,
[37:35] Speaker 3: would Parvati... respond the same would sandra respond the same
[37:40] Speaker 3: with all these people because like obviously that wouldn't so
[37:42] Speaker 3: like like let's choose the people that he is most
[37:47] Speaker 3: likely to want to emulate right would tony respond to
[37:51] Speaker 3: this no would rob respond to this no and if
[37:58] Speaker 3: they wouldn't i'm just kind of like Well, maybe that
[38:02] Speaker 3: just tells you where you exist in the Survivor fandom.
[38:05] Speaker 3: Because the comment that I saw on social media this
[38:08] Speaker 3: week that I think is the most illustrative of his
[38:12] Speaker 3: tenure is somebody said, does this guy think a day
[38:17] Speaker 3: six elimination is anybody that Jeff would bring back for
[38:24] Speaker 3: an All-Star season? And the answer is, nah, girl.
[38:28] Speaker 5: No but did you suggest that at some point that
[38:30] Speaker 5: he would get brought on an all-stars i.
[38:32] Speaker 3: Think that's what he's playing for because nobody is this
[38:36] Speaker 3: like effusive coming back in and being like no like
[38:40] Speaker 3: i was like a hard ass i would have won
[38:42] Speaker 3: the season all right diva yeah me too i would
[38:45] Speaker 3: have won the season from home cheers the.
[38:47] Speaker 5: Only all-star he's getting is from waffle house.
[38:51] Speaker 3: Oh, don't, don't, no, no, no, no, no. I'm mad
[38:54] Speaker 3: now because don't you ever, don't you ever PD put
[38:59] Speaker 3: that kind of negativity on a Waffle House?
[39:03] Speaker 5: Well, I'd be, he would, he'd be giving them $ 15.
[39:05] Speaker 5: It'd be good for Waffle House.
[39:08] Speaker 3: Waffle House doesn't need that man's money. I.
[39:12] Speaker 4: He has been saying, get ready for Rob 2.0. On what? Oh,
[39:18] Speaker 4: he's been saying it on, like, on social media, on podcasts. Like,
[39:22] Speaker 4: he's been saying, like, he's coming back.
[39:23] Speaker 5: But, like, where is Rob 2.0 gonna take place.
[39:27] Speaker 3: He also is the space between Maggie's earrings.
[39:31] Speaker 5: Yeah we're gonna shrink Rob and put him in Maggie
[39:35] Speaker 5: in one of Maggie's hoops.
[39:38] Speaker 4: Oh I would love that like a honey I shrunk
[39:40] Speaker 4: the kids and he's in Maggie's hoops and she can
[39:42] Speaker 4: take care of him and like cuddle him he's like
[39:44] Speaker 4: we're gonna.
[39:44] Speaker 5: Win ooh that's what the pink substance does it shrinks.
[39:47] Speaker 3: You The pink substance makes you eligible to come back
[39:52] Speaker 3: into the same season you were eliminated from.
[39:56] Speaker 4: I really think he's making a play, which he pretty
[39:59] Speaker 4: much just said, so this isn't me being perceptive, that
[40:04] Speaker 4: he wants to be a reality TV star. He realized
[40:06] Speaker 4: this wasn't the show for him, and this is his
[40:09] Speaker 4: audition for future seasons. of other reality TV shows. And
[40:16] Speaker 4: I'd be interested to see if it works.
[40:20] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[40:20] Speaker 5: Well, Justin, do you want to give a closing thought
[40:22] Speaker 5: on Rob before I tell you something about Maggie?
[40:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, of course. Bye.
[40:29] Speaker 5: So that's it.
[40:30] Speaker 3: All right. Bye.
[40:30] Speaker 5: Bye, Rob. Justin, I don't know if you know about this,
[40:34] Speaker 5: but Maggie recently went out like on, on Instagram and,
[40:39] Speaker 5: She's had one since apparently, I just scrolled back to
[40:42] Speaker 5: her first post. She's had one since 2012, but she
[40:46] Speaker 5: just recently made it public. And so if you want
[40:50] Speaker 5: to go learn some more about Maggie dating all the
[40:53] Speaker 5: way back to, are you afraid of what you'll find
[40:56] Speaker 5: in there?
[40:56] Speaker 3: I'm so worried.
[40:58] Speaker 5: It looks wholesome to me. It's like coffee and pregnancy
[41:02] Speaker 5: pictures and fruit.
[41:03] Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
[41:06] Speaker 5: I think it's safe to go in there, but it
[41:07] Speaker 5: was really cute.
[41:09] Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, I thought you were teeing me up or something.
[41:12] Speaker 5: No, I was just, I was just telling, I was
[41:14] Speaker 5: like informing you that Maggie's on Instagram.
[41:18] Speaker 4: Were you afraid she was a bigot?
[41:20] Speaker 3: No, I was, I literally took my glasses off and
[41:22] Speaker 3: I feel like this is some context that you guys
[41:24] Speaker 3: should have known beforehand. I'm literally like, like legally blind
[41:30] Speaker 3: without my glasses. So when I take them off, like
[41:33] Speaker 3: I don't want to know. And I do feel like
[41:36] Speaker 3: we've entered this, like, period of life where, like, you
[41:38] Speaker 3: come across a certain person and I think that you
[41:41] Speaker 3: have the right to say, like, no. Like, I just,
[41:44] Speaker 3: for a minute, I just don't want to know. But
[41:48] Speaker 3: the fact that there's nothing that, like, flags as worrisome
[41:53] Speaker 3: thrills me because I really do believe in my heart
[41:56] Speaker 3: of hearts. She is, like, our West Virginia queen. I
[42:02] Speaker 3: think she's such a gosh darn delight.
[42:03] Speaker 4: I also, to the point.
[42:04] Speaker 3: To the point where, like, I even want to, like,
[42:06] Speaker 3: take back my comment about a hooker hoops. Because, like,
[42:10] Speaker 3: if it's offended anybody, specifically Maggie, like, I want to
[42:15] Speaker 3: take it back. Because I do think the more that
[42:18] Speaker 3: I watch this season, the more that I'm emboldened. I
[42:22] Speaker 3: think she's winning. Wow.
[42:26] Speaker 1: Okay.
[42:26] Speaker 4: I really hope that Kristen wins, though. Because Kristen is doing... Like,
[42:31] Speaker 4: I loved Kristen's... She did a recap of the last
[42:35] Speaker 4: episode with her fiancé. I don't think it's her wife yet.
[42:38] Speaker 4: And she was like, what do you think about Rob's exit, honey?
[42:42] Speaker 4: And her wife just looked straight at the camera and said, blink, blink, blink.
[42:47] Speaker 4: And I just think they're so adorable. And I hope
[42:50] Speaker 4: that our final three is Kristen, Linnea, and Maggie.
[42:55] Speaker 5: And Devin. Oh, sorry. And Maggie.
[42:59] Speaker 4: Jelly, maybe.
[42:59] Speaker 1: Jelly.
[42:59] Speaker 4: Jelly.
[43:02] Speaker 5: What's wrong? You don't want to support a fellow gay
[43:04] Speaker 5: man in Devin? Clock it. Clock it. Wait, I think Devin's...
[43:09] Speaker 5: Devin is on the TV show Queer as Falk. He
[43:13] Speaker 5: went to Gay Surf Week in Puerto Rico. Oh, I like.
[43:16] Speaker 4: Him better now. I thought he was just a straight guy.
[43:19] Speaker 3: Devin is quickly turning a corner for me.
[43:24] Speaker 5: Because he looks like Jalen Hurts? Because you realized I
[43:25] Speaker 5: was right?
[43:26] Speaker 1: Brother.
[43:27] Speaker 3: Brother. come to my podcast. Jalen hurts is my daddy
[43:31] Speaker 3: for further commentary on Jalen hurts.
[43:34] Speaker 5: But you're a bills fan. You can't say that.
[43:38] Speaker 3: Trust and believe I can. Um, Devin is quickly turning
[43:43] Speaker 3: a corner because he is so delusional and so stupid.
[43:49] Speaker 3: Like of the three episodes that we've seen, the three
[43:52] Speaker 3: like vote outs that we've seen, um, he has had
[43:57] Speaker 3: the opportunity to be on the majority, like an open
[44:01] Speaker 3: opportunity and has always ended up in the minority. Devin
[44:05] Speaker 3: is quickly approaching like camp to me because he's so
[44:10] Speaker 3: stupid that I'm almost on the other side of standing.
[44:15] Speaker 5: And before I do want to play this clip of Maggie.
[44:18] Speaker 1: Oh God.
[44:19] Speaker 5: Before we get out of here. And it's so endearing.
[44:22] Speaker 5: This is her, like her first public statement on Instagram.
[44:27] Speaker 3: I've done three interviews. I did a newspaper.
[44:32] Speaker 5: Oh, wait. I need to find what was the first one.
[44:35] Speaker 4: My name is Maggie.
[44:38] Speaker 5: Not that.
[44:40] Speaker 4: That sounds great. My name is Maggie.
[44:43] Speaker 3: Me too.
[44:44] Speaker 4: We are all Maggie.
[44:47] Speaker 5: I will find this eventually. This is it.
[44:51] Speaker 3: Maggie Strong.
[44:52] Speaker 4: Helicopter Alliance, baby.
[45:13] Speaker 5: I don't think this is the right thing either. No,
[45:15] Speaker 5: I don't like this. She's whispering. I saw some video
[45:20] Speaker 5: where she's like, I'm new here and please DM me advice.
[45:24] Speaker 5: And that's what I was trying to find just now.
[45:26] Speaker 5: Wait a minute.
[45:27] Speaker 4: We need to be doing that and supporting our girl.
[45:30] Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely. And hopefully she hasn't listened because I don't
[45:35] Speaker 5: think she would enjoy this program very much.
[45:37] Speaker 4: I think she might.
[45:40] Speaker 3: So one of the things that's brought me a bit
[45:42] Speaker 3: of a pause in contributing is that you guys do
[45:45] Speaker 3: seem to find people along the way that listen and
[45:49] Speaker 3: embrace it.
[45:50] Speaker 5: Kilby's been in the comments multiple times.
[45:54] Speaker 3: Survivors, if you're listening, if you're one of the ones
[45:58] Speaker 3: that have made it this far, I want you to
[46:00] Speaker 3: know I don't care about you. You are not somebody
[46:05] Speaker 3: that brings my attention unless... Your name is Maggie. Because
[46:11] Speaker 3: in this fraught, fraught, terrible world, I do believe that
[46:17] Speaker 3: you are good. And like, I just need you to
[46:21] Speaker 3: know that like I'm rooting for you. I don't need
[46:24] Speaker 3: to hear from you ever. But I do think that
[46:27] Speaker 3: you're good. And like, I'm rooting for you, sister. I
[46:30] Speaker 3: hope you take it to the end. And if you don't,
[46:32] Speaker 3: I wish you joy and happiness. But most of all,
[46:36] Speaker 3: I wish you this. I wish you love.
[46:38] Speaker 1: Wow.
[46:39] Speaker 5: I feel like that's where we need to end it.
[46:43] Speaker 3: Maggie forever.
[46:44] Speaker 4: Amen.
[46:47] Speaker 3: No, should we just end it?
[46:49] Speaker 5: Yeah, probably Maggie forever and to non, by the way,
[46:52] Speaker 5: to non they brand and chase scoffed at me for
[46:55] Speaker 5: trying to give to non credit for the move that
[46:57] Speaker 5: she made. which is crazy anyway.
[47:00] Speaker 4: Well, no, actually just quickly before we go, I do
[47:03] Speaker 4: have to say PD, thank God that you're doing that
[47:05] Speaker 4: because the discourse online in the survivor forums, the fact
[47:10] Speaker 4: that to non is not getting more screen time and
[47:14] Speaker 4: that is her move. She should get credit. It's also
[47:16] Speaker 4: saying something about the way that women and women of
[47:19] Speaker 4: color are edited on survivor. So chase and brand is,
[47:24] Speaker 4: can fuck right off.
[47:25] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[47:26] Speaker 4: And thank you for talking about to non, because I
[47:29] Speaker 4: hope we see more of her and I hope she
[47:31] Speaker 4: goes all the way.
[47:32] Speaker 3: And I like this. And I know I'm done.
[47:38] Speaker 6: You're about to hear some ads that help keep the
[47:40] Speaker 6: lights on here in the old studio. Thanks for listening
[47:45] Speaker 6: or don't listen. It's really up to you at this point.
[47:48] Speaker 6: It's at the end of the show. I mean, you're
[47:50] Speaker 6: listening to me.
[47:51] Speaker 1: Hi.
[47:52] Speaker 5: But here they come.
[47:53] Speaker 6: I promise they're coming.
[47:54] Speaker 5: Yep, here they are. Happy day.
