[1:28] Speaker 3: first merged. Probably it's like nobody knows what they're doing.
[1:32] Speaker 5: And his whole alliance thing hadn't really taken full route yet.
[1:38] Speaker 2: Which that that alliance that was that was a dirty thing.
[1:41] Speaker 2: He did make.
[1:41] Speaker 5: It that that nude nude fella.
[1:50] Speaker 3: There are a lot of different things or directions you
[1:52] Speaker 3: could go with. I decided udella nude.

[5:12] Speaker 3: trying to get somebody to flip, and they think maybe Jonathan,
[5:15] Speaker 3: because he already betrayed a bunch of people, he can

[5:18] Speaker 5: It is very savvy to look at like Penner and
[5:23] Speaker 5: be like, well it it would be so unexpected for
[5:28] Speaker 5: us to let him back into our tribe or to
[5:31] Speaker 5: be one of our numbers.
[5:32] Speaker 2: That maybe it's so crazy, it's so crazy just might work.
[5:36] Speaker 2: I thought that they were going to be setting themselves
[5:38] Speaker 2: up for failure here because to get the guy that
[5:42] Speaker 2: just betrayed you, not I mean in recording time, what

[5:52] Speaker 5: What I found interesting is like, at this point in time,
[5:59] Speaker 5: Penner doesn't know that Ule has the idol, but Pinner
[6:03] Speaker 5: brings it up.
[6:04] Speaker 2: He's like, let's say, hypothetically.
[6:07] Speaker 5: And for the record, I am not even thinking about
[6:11] Speaker 5: this hypothetically, but let's say I was hypothetically thinking about
[6:15] Speaker 5: this and you had the idol.
[6:16] Speaker 2: Like he went, then this whole thing like what if
[6:18] Speaker 2: you have the idol, you'll tell them and you'll tell
[6:21] Speaker 2: them later, you'll tell you after, Okay. Yeah. In this conversation,
[6:25] Speaker 2: it was super crazy because what you could tell that
[6:27] Speaker 2: it was weighing on Pinner's mind. Whoever has the idol
[6:30] Speaker 2: is who I need to be.
[6:31] Speaker 5: Alone, right, because he tells Pinner later in the woods,
[6:34] Speaker 5: like after the first challenge, Yeah, after the challenge.
[6:37] Speaker 2: I believe when Ozzie wins the spoiler yes, sorry, because
[6:44] Speaker 2: what I've had in here was that 'll had floated
[6:48] Speaker 2: it to Jonathan and then Jonathan goes like, I yeah,
[6:50] Speaker 2: I need to see it right now, like I know.
[6:53] Speaker 2: So the way the conversation goes is Pinner brings up
[6:56] Speaker 2: this thing of like due to the way that the
[6:59] Speaker 2: immunity idol works is it's after you get voted out, right,
[7:03] Speaker 2: So that means whoever is up against the person with
[7:07] Speaker 2: the idol on the chopping block gets eliminated, right, So
[7:11] Speaker 2: you want to be aligned with the person the idol,
[7:12] Speaker 2: And so he's bringing this up to you, and so
[7:14] Speaker 2: he goes, you know, let's just say, let's just say,
[7:17] Speaker 2: hypothetically you had it, I would need to work with
[7:19] Speaker 2: you or else I'm not going to make it a game.
[7:22] Speaker 5: But at this point in time, like you'll hear this
[7:25] Speaker 5: and it's like, well, I'll.
[7:27] Speaker 2: Let's say hypothetic, I do have I'll clock.
[7:29] Speaker 5: It away for later, because obviously we know that he
[7:31] Speaker 5: does have it, and so I think he did take
[7:35] Speaker 5: that the way that you just said, which.
[7:37] Speaker 2: Is, okay, I might have to show it to him. Well,
[7:39] Speaker 2: Pinner does say, I wouldn't like in order for me
[7:42] Speaker 2: to flip, I would need to see the idol, see
[7:45] Speaker 2: it to believe it. And you'll go as well, you know, well, okay,
[7:49] Speaker 2: let's see what And then but I'm not saying I
[7:51] Speaker 2: would even consider this. Yeah, yeah, it was very funny.
[7:56] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. And then is that we challenge time. Well,
[8:00] Speaker 2: right before the immunity challenge, Jule goes to his team
[8:02] Speaker 2: and he lets them all know that he has the idol,
[8:04] Speaker 2: because up to this point, Youule is the only person
[8:06] Speaker 2: that knows that he has the idol. Yeah, he tells
[8:09] Speaker 2: his team, Ozzy and everybody, I've got the idol. We're
[8:12] Speaker 2: gonna use it to try to get Pinner to come
[8:14] Speaker 2: back to our numbers, and that's how we're gonna get
[8:16] Speaker 2: out of here.
[8:17] Speaker 3: And then Poverty wants Yule as the target. And then
[8:19] Speaker 3: Jonathan hears that and he's like, maybe let's not do that.
[8:23] Speaker 3: You know, I'm not saying he's got it, but he might,
[8:25] Speaker 3: he could, and they don't.
[8:26] Speaker 2: Even want to consider that. He doesn't he does it.
[8:29] Speaker 2: He even goes like, well, he's the only other person
[8:33] Speaker 2: that's been to exile, right, and we don't have it. Yeah,
[8:38] Speaker 2: two and put you know, put two and two together.
[8:40] Speaker 5: I don't know why they're so like against the possibility
[8:44] Speaker 5: of Yule having it.
[8:46] Speaker 2: I that was so weird to meet because there's some
[8:49] Speaker 2: dun kids.
[8:50] Speaker 5: Only so many people have been there and one of
[8:53] Speaker 5: them is gone happy the whole like the entire game.
[8:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe we should wonder why Yule's always smiling. He's
[9:02] Speaker 2: getting freaky with those ladies on the reward because he
[9:05] Speaker 2: knows he's not going home. It's time for the immunity chance.
[9:09] Speaker 3: It's time to jump on a pole with Chase. Whoa man,
[9:14] Speaker 3: you got too excited for them.
[9:17] Speaker 2: I love this challenge. I'm glad that this is the
[9:19] Speaker 2: challenge that's stuck around in the new era. I love
[9:23] Speaker 2: an endurance challenge of an individual. Immunity challenges are also
[9:26] Speaker 2: just so much more fun than the tribal you know,
[9:30] Speaker 2: obstacle courses, and up until the last couple of weeks
[9:32] Speaker 2: this season felt like an endurance challenge ah, we held
[9:38] Speaker 2: on that pole. Yeah, guys, each person has to hang
[9:41] Speaker 2: onto the pole for as long as they can. It's
[9:43] Speaker 2: a Survivor classic. Baby. We still see this one to
[9:46] Speaker 2: this day, but I will say the footrests are ginormous
[9:50] Speaker 2: compared to the ones we see a new era Survivor.
[9:53] Speaker 2: I'm just gonna run through each of the eliminations. Adam's
[9:56] Speaker 2: the first one out after nine minutes. Pinner is out
[9:59] Speaker 2: next at twelve minutes, Nate is out third at twenty
[10:02] Speaker 2: three minutes, then Sundra at thirty four minutes. You'll manage
[10:06] Speaker 2: to hang on for fifty one minutes before he drives Suele.
[10:09] Speaker 5: That brings up the point to Jeff that like the
[10:11] Speaker 5: more masks, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean he's right, yeah,
[10:15] Speaker 5: Like he's right about that challenge, like these this challenge
[10:18] Speaker 5: like elephants don't climb trees, just something that I think about.
[10:23] Speaker 4: Everyone laughed at him.
[10:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, except for Parvity, she said, being smart as sexy.
[10:28] Speaker 2: Heck yeah, dude, she gave.
[10:30] Speaker 5: Did you see how happy he was after she said
[10:32] Speaker 5: that he was a little bashful, a little bad.
[10:34] Speaker 2: A little bashful. PARV holds on for an hour and
[10:41] Speaker 2: twenty nine minutes. Imagine hanging on that long and not winning. Suck.
[10:46] Speaker 2: One thing that I thought was very funny was after
[10:49] Speaker 2: ParvE drops, we get like a whole two minutes with
[10:53] Speaker 2: Jeff doing kind of a thing with everybody, and then
[10:56] Speaker 2: Becky literally falls off the pole. Yeah. And then in
[10:59] Speaker 2: the time stamp it says one hour thirty minutes, so
[11:03] Speaker 2: the edit took longer than what actually happened. It was
[11:05] Speaker 2: only a minute later that she dropped. Yeah. I thought
[11:08] Speaker 2: that was fun. Watching her fall off the pole reminded
[11:13] Speaker 2: me of every time they do this challenge. I'm like,
[11:15] Speaker 2: what happens if someone's at the top and they get
[11:17] Speaker 2: lightheaded and just fall? I mean, I sorry for you.
[11:22] Speaker 5: I had n't seen that, but I did just finish
[11:26] Speaker 5: Coaches first season where he has a backspasm on.
[11:30] Speaker 2: That game and he falls down and he's like, it's
[11:33] Speaker 2: not on the one where they're like holding to the sides.
[11:35] Speaker 5: And then and then the rest of the game he
[11:37] Speaker 5: has a cane, which is just so funny.
[11:40] Speaker 2: It's so funny. H Ozzie versus Candace, It's the final two.
[11:48] Speaker 2: It's pouring down rain. Candace drops at two hours and
[11:54] Speaker 2: fifteen minutes, Ozzie.
[11:57] Speaker 5: Wins the first individual immun no water on it. There's
[12:02] Speaker 5: no water on that pole. It's just downright and impressive.
[12:04] Speaker 2: So after the challenge, this is a very interesting because
[12:08] Speaker 2: this is the first MRD, like who are they going
[12:11] Speaker 2: to eliminate? Everyone is saying Yule is gonna get voted out.
[12:15] Speaker 2: That's not good for them because Yuele has the idol
[12:18] Speaker 2: and what it pulls. What it comes down to is
[12:21] Speaker 2: if they're so dead set on You'll being the one
[12:23] Speaker 2: that they're voting out whoever the other team writes down
[12:28] Speaker 2: is who's going home? Right? And this is where things
[12:31] Speaker 2: get complicated because Yuell goes to Pinner, shows Pinner the
[12:35] Speaker 2: idol and asks him to flip right. Pinner now has
[12:40] Speaker 2: a huge decision to make because he kind of needs
[12:42] Speaker 2: to because it because You'll kind of puts him in
[12:46] Speaker 2: a bad spot because what he says is, if you
[12:49] Speaker 2: don't flip with us, we're all writing your name down
[12:51] Speaker 2: tonight and you're going home unless you can convince your
[12:54] Speaker 2: Tea's a.
[12:55] Speaker 5: Great move, and it is like the type of move
[12:59] Speaker 5: that works so specifically to this season because of how
[13:02] Speaker 5: the idol works, being able to tell after the votes
[13:06] Speaker 5: are read like that. It is an interesting like twist
[13:12] Speaker 5: to the idol that we're used to, which is that
[13:14] Speaker 5: you have to say it before the votes are read like.
[13:16] Speaker 5: Being able to wait until after is really interesting, and
[13:19] Speaker 5: it makes this type of move where you basically blackmail
[13:23] Speaker 5: pinnery voting for you, like.
[13:26] Speaker 2: If you can't convince your alliance to vote for someone
[13:29] Speaker 2: other than me, Yeah, you're going home, whether you like
[13:31] Speaker 2: it or not.
[13:32] Speaker 3: You'll he didn't feel good about Pinner, but it didn't
[13:35] Speaker 3: matter how he felt.
[13:36] Speaker 2: About the situation because he's safe no matter what.
[13:39] Speaker 3: Right they the idol had not been fixed yet right
[13:43] Speaker 3: with the I think the way that they do it
[13:45] Speaker 3: now makes the game much more interesting.
[13:47] Speaker 2: I agree, Yeah for sure. Well you'll also like youle
[13:51] Speaker 2: strategy is, how can I do this to where not
[13:54] Speaker 2: only do I make it through tonight, which I'll do regardless,
[13:57] Speaker 2: but I get to keep the idol? Yes? Plus yes,
[14:01] Speaker 2: I now I have Penner like so.
[14:04] Speaker 5: As much as much as like we hate Penner a
[14:08] Speaker 5: team that you jump to that you then jumped away from,
[14:13] Speaker 5: like they're gonna hate you double like you're you're Pinner's
[14:17] Speaker 5: sticking with them, like Pinner can't flip again, right, you
[14:20] Speaker 5: would think I didn't think you could this time.
[14:22] Speaker 2: Yeah. But and that's the hard decision that he's having
[14:24] Speaker 2: to make, which is, if I flip again, no one's
[14:28] Speaker 2: gonna trust me. Everyone's gonna hate me. I'm not gonna
[14:30] Speaker 2: get the jury votes if I make it to the finals.
[14:33] Speaker 2: You know what I mean, because everyone I've betrayed every
[14:35] Speaker 2: single person on the island. So he's but but if
[14:38] Speaker 2: he's on the team opposite of the idol, there's no
[14:41] Speaker 2: way he's gonna make it any further in the game.
[14:44] Speaker 2: So he's in a tight spot. So to try to
[14:49] Speaker 2: sweeten the deal, Yule tells Pinner, well, hey, to make
[14:52] Speaker 2: it easier for you, to make it better for you,
[14:54] Speaker 2: since you're betraying them, you can pick whose name we're
[14:58] Speaker 2: writing down and sending home tonight. So what Pinner does
[15:01] Speaker 2: to try to soften the blow of his betrayal is
[15:04] Speaker 2: instead of saying Adam's name, which is who they wanted
[15:06] Speaker 2: to do, he says Nate, who he's not as close
[15:09] Speaker 2: with because he's not white.
[15:12] Speaker 3: Yes, and so if I was on that island, I
[15:15] Speaker 3: would have been a lot closer to Nate than Adam.
[15:19] Speaker 2: Which Ozzie is in this episode. Ozzy immediately starts forming
[15:22] Speaker 2: alliance with Nate. I don't think Nate would ever betray
[15:25] Speaker 2: his alliance and go with Ozzie in them, but I
[15:28] Speaker 2: could see him and Ozzie be in a dynamic Dude
[15:30] Speaker 2: that a certain point, I think that could have happened.
[15:35] Speaker 2: And yes, so Pinner does the flip, he switches back
[15:41] Speaker 2: to his original tribe. Because of that, Nate goes home
[15:47] Speaker 2: and You'll manages to keep the idol right and even
[15:51] Speaker 2: out the game to four versus four, and it's all
[15:55] Speaker 2: thanks to Ozzie. It's all thanks to literally. Yeah, no,
[15:58] Speaker 2: it really is. One thing that I wanted to bring
[16:01] Speaker 2: up with you guys, is what you would have done
[16:03] Speaker 2: in Pinner situation, Because if Pinner decided not to flip
[16:08] Speaker 2: and just voted for Yule at tribal, youle would have
[16:12] Speaker 2: had to use his idol, so you would have flushed
[16:15] Speaker 2: the idol. Nate still would have gone home like Pinner wanted.
[16:20] Speaker 2: But it doesn't look like Pinner betrayed his current tribe
[16:22] Speaker 2: and he got rid of the idol from Mule, right.
[16:28] Speaker 5: I think he played it the best way that you could,
[16:32] Speaker 5: and that in that specific situation where you decide to
[16:36] Speaker 5: jump ship. I think this is the best way to
[16:40] Speaker 5: move forward in the game of aligning yourself with the
[16:43] Speaker 5: guy who has the idol, especially at this point in
[16:47] Speaker 5: Survivor where idols are such a wild card, Like this
[16:51] Speaker 5: makes the most sense to me. I don't know if
[16:52] Speaker 5: there's another path for Pinner to get past, like to
[17:00] Speaker 5: like he would have probably been next, like if if.
[17:04] Speaker 3: The problem is he's number five on whoever he joins,
[17:07] Speaker 3: he's number five, so it's like whatever he does, it
[17:10] Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
[17:11] Speaker 2: He brings that up in the episode. He goes, if
[17:13] Speaker 2: I stay with this tribe, I'm a bastard. If I switch,
[17:16] Speaker 2: I'm a bastard. Yeah that's true. That's true.
[17:19] Speaker 5: Well that's what happens sometimes when you jump ship.
[17:22] Speaker 2: Dude, that was I think I will. I think I
[17:25] Speaker 2: I would have still done it, though, Like I kind
[17:27] Speaker 2: of like.
[17:29] Speaker 5: I can be the guy that kind of helps you
[17:32] Speaker 5: guys get further in the game, and so maybe that
[17:35] Speaker 5: will gain some sort of relationship between me and Yule
[17:39] Speaker 5: that could go for something like I think I would
[17:42] Speaker 5: like those odds a bit more than this tribe that
[17:45] Speaker 5: I jumped to where clearly no one likes him.
[17:48] Speaker 2: Clearly, no one wants him around, so he should have
[17:50] Speaker 2: never jumped. It would have been so different for him
[17:52] Speaker 2: if he that was the last second decision. He jumped
[17:56] Speaker 2: out on the map to follow canvas, and he should
[17:59] Speaker 2: have never done that. He wasn't even allied with He
[18:02] Speaker 2: hasn't he like she doesn't even She hasn't even kissed him.
[18:04] Speaker 3: No, she's out here kissing random guys and occasionally her husband,
[18:10] Speaker 3: but she won't kiss Jonathan Fenner.
[18:12] Speaker 2: And why so? Why would Pinter do it if he's
[18:13] Speaker 2: not gonna gets.
[18:14] Speaker 3: I saw a picture of her kissing Billy Garcia on
[18:17] Speaker 3: the cheek.
