## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Song or anything.
[0:01] Speaker 2: I have nothing for you.
[0:02] Speaker 1: Hold on, I can pull it up. I can pull
[0:05] Speaker 1: it up.
[0:05] Speaker 3: Just play it through the microphone. Why not since Amazon's trying.
[0:09] Speaker 1: To sing it Mary, that would be that'd be a
[0:15] Speaker 1: power play. I feel like we're not gonna make you
[0:18] Speaker 1: do that.
[0:18] Speaker 4: Okay, okay, I'll sit along with it.
[0:22] Speaker 3: I can sing along with it, or Jonathan can beat
[0:25] Speaker 3: box and Mary the vocals.
[0:28] Speaker 1: I'm sure the latency on the microphones won't cause a problem.
[0:33] Speaker 4: I was actually in a beatboxing a cappella group in
[0:35] Speaker 4: college where everybody sing and I was singing.
[0:38] Speaker 1: That's it. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
[0:40] Speaker 4: We called ourselves the business.
[0:42] Speaker 1: That's also kind of a great.
[0:44] Speaker 4: Business seeing it on business, Baby are rolling right now?
[0:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, we're rolling.
[0:51] Speaker 3: Okay, we're going to keep the standing on business.
[0:54] Speaker 4: Oh man, okay, all right, all right, it is what
[0:56] Speaker 4: it is. It's been said.
[0:58] Speaker 1: All right, here we go, extended version.
[1:09] Speaker 4: I don't know if anyone thought this was me, but
[1:11] Speaker 4: that on the part that's that's a sample I forgot.
[1:27] Speaker 4: I know the chorus very I can say. Is it
[1:44] Speaker 4: gonna keep going? We're just vibing.
[1:50] Speaker 1: We were just vibing, like from thee the only Baby.
[1:56] Speaker 4: Teeth, baby tea.
[1:57] Speaker 3: That's right, We've got a special one today, guys. We've
[2:00] Speaker 3: got somebody who I went into the forty eight pregame
[2:04] Speaker 3: show on a mission to make sure that everybody fell
[2:06] Speaker 3: in love with her, and it did not take much convincing.
[2:10] Speaker 3: She lent us her voice for the Sanctuary, and she
[2:12] Speaker 3: just lent us her actual voice for it this time.
[2:15] Speaker 3: And she had the most legendary shot in the dark
[2:17] Speaker 3: play of all time. And I can't thank her enough
[2:21] Speaker 3: for how much she has supported this show. Guys, Mary
[2:24] Speaker 3: Young is making the merge today.
[2:27] Speaker 4: Hello, I'm making the fucking merge baby, shot in the
[2:31] Speaker 4: dark house. You get here.
[2:32] Speaker 1: Let me let me just say real quick, I want
[2:35] Speaker 1: to open up the show. Mary. I'm gonna give you
[2:37] Speaker 1: an opportunity to publicly.
[2:38] Speaker 5: Apologize to me over Wow. I'll call it the brew
[2:43] Speaker 5: haha that happened on your season between us Wow.
[2:47] Speaker 4: What what brew haha happened? I complimented you and your
[2:50] Speaker 4: feather boa and I said I liked your truck and
[2:52] Speaker 4: people thought I was maga because of it. I went
[2:54] Speaker 4: down for you.
[2:56] Speaker 5: Yeah, so sorry by that, So sorry, but no, because
[3:00] Speaker 5: you you sent in a voice memo saying that you
[3:02] Speaker 5: wish would have drafted.
[3:06] Speaker 4: I was that that I was held for ransom. I
[3:10] Speaker 4: was told to do that. Yeah, I told to do that.
[3:15] Speaker 3: I think this is Mary's reframing of what happened because
[3:18] Speaker 3: she feels a little bit bad about what she said
[3:20] Speaker 3: to you, because this is what I remember.
[3:21] Speaker 4: I don't even remember what I said.
[3:23] Speaker 3: I don't really either, But this, if we go a
[3:26] Speaker 3: little bit deeper, the reason that Mary called in and
[3:30] Speaker 3: she made Chase really upset is because during that pregame
[3:33] Speaker 3: show I referenced I brought up tam and Square something
[3:36] Speaker 3: that Mary's parents.
[3:37] Speaker 1: Are mental in coming, and Chase did not know what
[3:43] Speaker 1: that was.
[3:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, which I.
[3:46] Speaker 1: Don't know why that's on me. It should be on
[3:48] Speaker 1: the public education system.
[3:50] Speaker 4: Is well, I was. I was going to say, that's true. Yeah,
[3:52] Speaker 4: you know, Americans, we suck at geography and knowing historical
[3:55] Speaker 4: events that changed people's lives in the entire world.
[3:59] Speaker 1: But I will say that there are four people in
[4:03] Speaker 1: this chat that already knew what it was. Yeah, and
[4:06] Speaker 1: five five ye, yes, right, right of course, the fifth one, Yeah,
[4:10] Speaker 1: there's five yeah, Well no, no, I don't know about that.
[4:13] Speaker 4: But you know, brand looks like he's falling asleep.
[4:16] Speaker 1: Yes, Brand, Sorry.
[4:18] Speaker 4: It's kind of like the Purple Podcast, where like they're
[4:20] Speaker 4: always like, Wendell, are you awake? Wake up?
[4:22] Speaker 1: Wendo some reason for being half asleep? How long is
[4:26] Speaker 1: it going to take you to recover from the marathon
[4:29] Speaker 1: you just did?
[4:30] Speaker 2: I'm fine. I'm fine, Jonathan.
[4:31] Speaker 4: No.
[4:31] Speaker 2: I was just still thinking about.
[4:33] Speaker 6: The song that we were listening to and wishing that
[4:36] Speaker 6: we were still listening to that because it's a banger.
[4:40] Speaker 4: Thank you, Thank you.
[4:42] Speaker 1: Brand might have been the first one of us to
[4:45] Speaker 1: listen to that song and be like, guys, there's a
[4:48] Speaker 1: great you gotta listen to this. Were you the first
[4:51] Speaker 1: one to bring that up? Brand?
[4:52] Speaker 6: I don't know if I was the first, but I
[4:53] Speaker 6: was definitely the loudest about it.
[4:57] Speaker 4: Hey, hey, loud and in charge. I love it. Thanks
[5:00] Speaker 4: thanks for being a merry stand unlike Chase, who doesn't
[5:02] Speaker 4: know my history.
[5:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, people whoa sorry?
[5:08] Speaker 4: I remember. I remember why I felt the way that
[5:11] Speaker 4: I did.
[5:12] Speaker 1: This is I gave you the opportunity to apologize. You're
[5:14] Speaker 1: doubling down. I doesn't take it.
[5:16] Speaker 4: I didn't take it.
[5:18] Speaker 1: Don't take it. So a little bit more background.
[5:21] Speaker 4: But I still accept you oh.
[5:24] Speaker 3: So I had sent Mary a message and I was like, hey, so,
[5:27] Speaker 3: I don't know if you know about this, but we
[5:28] Speaker 3: did the pregame show and Chase didn't know what this was.
[5:31] Speaker 3: Could you roast him? And she was like, oh, I remember, so,
[5:34] Speaker 3: like when I originally pitched it to her, She's like, yeah,
[5:36] Speaker 3: trust me, I heard that and I'm gonna let him have.
[5:39] Speaker 1: It, which, mind you, Bed was very giddy about because
[5:43] Speaker 1: anytime that he gets to pull one over on any
[5:45] Speaker 1: of us, I think he gets like this weird thrill
[5:47] Speaker 1: out of it. So Pte's just texting me off to
[5:50] Speaker 1: the side, being like, oh, you won't believe what's about
[5:53] Speaker 1: to happen to Chase, just like a villain. So I mean,
[5:56] Speaker 1: I also enjoy watching Chase go down U publicly personally, Man,
[6:01] Speaker 1: I go down with the best of them. That's what
[6:03] Speaker 1: everybody's saying. That's what everybody says on this shot, most
[6:05] Speaker 1: of them, you know.
[6:08] Speaker 4: Regardless, we're giving you a taste of what it's like
[6:12] Speaker 4: to be a survivor player, you know, right right, People
[6:16] Speaker 4: love you one day, they hate you the next. You're
[6:18] Speaker 4: reading about yourself on Reddit the next day.
[6:20] Speaker 3: It worked, yeah, or in your case, they love you
[6:23] Speaker 3: for six weeks and then they hate you for the
[6:24] Speaker 3: final six weeks.
[6:25] Speaker 4: Sir. That was so wild. That was so wild. Yeah, yeah, I.
[6:30] Speaker 1: Learned they know.
[6:32] Speaker 4: They kind of came back. I had some Twitter beefs
[6:34] Speaker 4: where I like stood up for some people against this
[6:38] Speaker 4: one dude, gamervev or something who was like being kind
[6:41] Speaker 4: of like kind of like like just like I have
[6:44] Speaker 4: such a bad memory. But he was like saying something
[6:46] Speaker 4: that was like, oh, it was about Kyle. It was
[6:49] Speaker 4: like saying, how like Kyle was incarcerated and he was
[6:53] Speaker 4: like I don't even know why Kyle was incarcerated. I
[6:55] Speaker 4: was like, you, you don't understand like the effect that
[6:58] Speaker 4: like being a black man in this country has on people.
[7:02] Speaker 4: And everybody on Twitter was like that's right, that's Mary
[7:05] Speaker 4: and I was like yeah, I'm a fucking social worker.
[7:07] Speaker 4: And then they liked me for like a week and
[7:08] Speaker 4: then it kind of went downhill again.
[7:10] Speaker 1: But that way, you know, we didn't we didn't ride
[7:14] Speaker 1: that wave though. The entire time. We were like no, no, no.
[7:18] Speaker 4: And that's why I'm here, That's why I'm here.
[7:21] Speaker 3: I was a Mary Stan ever since I saw that tweet,
[7:24] Speaker 3: when I was the person who was supposed to do
[7:26] Speaker 3: the research on you.
[7:27] Speaker 4: Oh my god, do you guys know about the backstory
[7:30] Speaker 4: about how that tweet got deleted?
[7:32] Speaker 2: No?
[7:33] Speaker 4: I felt no, no, no. I I accidentally deleted it
[7:37] Speaker 4: because I feel like say had said something about me
[7:40] Speaker 4: on Twitter. I was at Martin Gras. I was like drunk.
[7:43] Speaker 4: It was we were all at Marty Gras, like for
[7:46] Speaker 4: the viewing party, like we like cause Stephanie was first
[7:49] Speaker 4: vote out right and she's like has a lot of
[7:51] Speaker 4: ties to New Orleans, and so we had done our
[7:55] Speaker 4: premiere all there. We were out drunk. We were like
[7:58] Speaker 4: had these little mouse hats on because we were like
[8:00] Speaker 4: part of the Great ratsby the Float and just like
[8:04] Speaker 4: super drunk. But I read something on Twitter, and I
[8:06] Speaker 4: was like trying to go on Twitter to like write
[8:08] Speaker 4: something back, subtweeting, and then I was trying to like
[8:13] Speaker 4: pin that tweet and I accidentally deleted that the most
[8:16] Speaker 4: infamous tweet ever. And I think it's a sign don't
[8:18] Speaker 4: seek retribution, Like I learned my lesson. Yeah, but I
[8:23] Speaker 4: thank you guys for keeping the tweet alive in your memories.
[8:27] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[8:27] Speaker 2: Absolutely, And how did your merch come to be?
[8:30] Speaker 6: I love your mug I love faces upon faces of
[8:35] Speaker 6: Mary on mug, So tell me how your merch came
[8:38] Speaker 6: to be?
[8:39] Speaker 4: Thank you. I I don't know. I just really had
[8:42] Speaker 4: a vision. I always I love yeah, yeah, yeah. I
[8:48] Speaker 4: I was just out there editing and I was like,
[8:50] Speaker 4: oh yeah, one face and I was like, but what
[8:52] Speaker 4: about two? But what about three? What about faces on faces?
[8:57] Speaker 4: And I just kind of think that like making merch
[9:00] Speaker 4: about yourself, Oh, thank you, thank you. Had to get
[9:03] Speaker 4: it out, thank you. Sometimes I have to be careful
[9:06] Speaker 4: because I do private practice online as well. And one
[9:08] Speaker 4: time I was drinking out of that mug and my
[9:10] Speaker 4: clients or started laughing. I was you did not need
[9:13] Speaker 4: to know that about me? But yeah, I kind of
[9:18] Speaker 4: think like inherently making merch for yourself is like kind
[9:21] Speaker 4: of cringey. So I was like, let me just lean
[9:23] Speaker 4: into it. This what am I gonna do? Say Mary
[9:25] Speaker 4: is the best? You know, I'll let my face speak
[9:28] Speaker 4: for myself. If they want to think I'm the best,
[9:30] Speaker 4: they can if they want to think.
[9:32] Speaker 1: That it's that ironic humor, you know. Yeah, we kind
[9:36] Speaker 1: of like talked about this all season, which is I
[9:40] Speaker 1: think it's so true. You're like the funniest Survivor contestant
[9:44] Speaker 1: on social media. That's I mean, that's no lie, like
[9:47] Speaker 1: it's it is truly crazy because a lot of people
[9:51] Speaker 1: try to be very, very funny and it comes across
[9:54] Speaker 1: so forced on there, and for you, it felt like
[9:57] Speaker 1: you just not even it's not even like you gave up.
[9:59] Speaker 1: You were like, I'm going to post whatever I want
[10:01] Speaker 1: to post, Yeah, and you're just like You're just gonna
[10:05] Speaker 1: get it. And it led to the best social.
[10:07] Speaker 3: Media You've ever been so single that you don't even
[10:09] Speaker 3: have someone to think of when you're yurking, Yeah.
[10:12] Speaker 4: When you're I have I have, I get that. It's wow,
[10:16] Speaker 4: you're speaking to my soul. I truly feel that.
[10:20] Speaker 3: I saw that tweet, I was instantly won over. And
[10:23] Speaker 3: then the merch Store, of course, and I was like,
[10:25] Speaker 3: this is the greatest Survivor contestant I've ever come across,
[10:28] Speaker 3: and I haven't even seen her play. So then I
[10:30] Speaker 3: paid ten dollars for that cameo in which you graciously
[10:33] Speaker 3: read the yurk and tweet, and I really appreciated that
[10:37] Speaker 3: I did do that.
[10:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, how much do you make from cameo?
[10:42] Speaker 4: I think like around five thousand?
[10:44] Speaker 1: Whoa heck you yeah, happy to be ten dollars of that.
[10:48] Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, it was pretty lit. There was a
[10:51] Speaker 4: while where I was like, damn, I'm living like I'm.
[10:54] Speaker 2: Rich, you know, but this is gonna last forever.
[10:57] Speaker 4: Totally, totally really it was though. That money was nice
[11:01] Speaker 4: because like during the season's airing, we were going crazy.
[11:05] Speaker 4: We were like flying, training, driving every Wednesday, staying in
[11:09] Speaker 4: a different city, and so like that money, like a
[11:12] Speaker 4: lot of it went to just like staying alive during
[11:16] Speaker 4: that time.
[11:17] Speaker 6: Yeah, we know you came to Greenville and you didn't
[11:19] Speaker 6: tell us, And it's fine because I didn't.
[11:22] Speaker 1: Know about that.
[11:24] Speaker 4: I didn't. I didn't feel comfortable enough with you guys.
[11:27] Speaker 1: Yet I regret I don't feel comfortable with them when
[11:32] Speaker 1: I go to green Tails helping you. In last time
[11:37] Speaker 1: I was in Greenville, I straight up attacked PD on
[11:39] Speaker 1: the podcast like in person.
[11:41] Speaker 3: It's so oh it's because I said small girl like
[11:44] Speaker 3: you had a Travis Kelce Taylor video about small girl
[11:48] Speaker 3: and large Boy.
[11:49] Speaker 1: Have you seen that.
[11:51] Speaker 4: I try to stay away from Taylor Swift, but you
[11:53] Speaker 4: can educate me.
[11:55] Speaker 1: What did she?
[11:56] Speaker 4: Oh?
[11:57] Speaker 3: Well, this is a video from a like thirty something
[12:01] Speaker 3: year old white lady where she sounds like it. It's
[12:03] Speaker 3: so nice that Taylor gets to be small girl now
[12:07] Speaker 3: because Travis Kelcey is large boy.
[12:09] Speaker 1: Wow, which is that video makes me so angry every
[12:14] Speaker 1: time I've ever run across it and I somehow mention
[12:17] Speaker 1: it and Pete just has quoted it every episode this season.
[12:22] Speaker 1: And we were in person and he pulled he pulled
[12:24] Speaker 1: that quote out, and I lost it on him and
[12:27] Speaker 1: just reached across the table and had it so well.
[12:30] Speaker 4: Isn't that nice that you could have actually, like, you know,
[12:33] Speaker 4: choked him in real life instead of just like wringing
[12:35] Speaker 4: your hands. It's true over the camera.
[12:37] Speaker 1: I was able to sleep better that night after recording
[12:40] Speaker 1: because usually and I'm like, I couldn't get this energy out.
[12:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's nice to be able to sit
[12:46] Speaker 4: across from someone and and that's.
[12:49] Speaker 1: A good threatening in real life, you know.
[12:52] Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, guys, we like joking around, we like
[12:56] Speaker 5: having a good time. But we do have some questions
[12:57] Speaker 5: for you, Mary about your time Survivor, because you know,
[13:00] Speaker 5: it's not an exaggeration to say that you are one
[13:03] Speaker 5: of the most popular Survivor players of the New Era.
[13:06] Speaker 1: I think it's an exaggeration.
[13:07] Speaker 4: To say that's an exaggeration.
[13:09] Speaker 1: I wouldn't say you would you guys say it's an exaggeration.
[13:13] Speaker 1: Remember she's our guest. No, not an exaggeration at all.
[13:17] Speaker 2: I mean, there's really no way to know for sure.
[13:19] Speaker 4: But I respect that. I respect that. I respect that.
[13:24] Speaker 1: No. I actually I just checked brand, so you checked.
[13:28] Speaker 1: I just checked. They all they all said it. They
[13:31] Speaker 1: all said it said five or four bad gateway.
[13:36] Speaker 4: Over and over again.
[13:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a bad gateway.
[13:40] Speaker 5: But no, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say
[13:42] Speaker 5: that you were extremely popular both on your season and
[13:45] Speaker 5: while the season was airing on Twitter and stuff. I mean,
[13:47] Speaker 5: this season kind of the big complaint for me is
[13:49] Speaker 5: that it's not it's not been as fun online as
[13:51] Speaker 5: it has been in the previous season.
[13:53] Speaker 4: They're pretty fun, They're pretty funny without intending to be funny,
[13:58] Speaker 4: which is like a different kind of you know what
[14:00] Speaker 4: I mean. It's like it's like, are you okay funny?
[14:04] Speaker 4: You know?
[14:05] Speaker 1: Yeh yeah. Yeah.
[14:07] Speaker 5: But when you were on your season, were you concerned.
[14:12] Speaker 1: Because there was a little bit there where I was like, I.
[14:15] Speaker 5: Think Mary's gonna win the whole season. Maybe I was
[14:18] Speaker 5: just being hopeful because I drafted you first, and I'm
[14:20] Speaker 5: Mary Strong. I thought you were gonna win the whole
[14:22] Speaker 5: season because I mean, you guys were traveling all over
[14:26] Speaker 5: the place every week that you were like kind of
[14:29] Speaker 5: the forefront, especially like your beef with Say. I was like,
[14:32] Speaker 5: she's the main character of the show for like three
[14:35] Speaker 5: weeks in a row. Did you have the fear of
[14:40] Speaker 5: people getting backlash on you or were you pretty certain
[14:43] Speaker 5: that people were gonna ride hard with you all season?
[14:45] Speaker 4: I think I was, And I think that's why. I mean,
[14:48] Speaker 4: I was wrong because at a certain point, people stopped
[14:50] Speaker 4: riding for me at all. But I think that's what
[14:52] Speaker 4: gave me the confidence to make my mug. You know.
[14:56] Speaker 4: I was like, they're gonna see me, ye, I say,
[15:00] Speaker 4: so fuck it, let me put my face on.
[15:02] Speaker 1: I mean to see me more. But in their cabinet,
[15:04] Speaker 1: you know.
[15:04] Speaker 4: There we go. Yes, yes, no, I thought, you know,
[15:07] Speaker 4: I had a I was nervous at first, but then
[15:12] Speaker 4: I remembered like how much I struggled and how I overcame,
[15:17] Speaker 4: and I was like, they can't they can't put a
[15:19] Speaker 4: bad spin on that, right, But you know, we're all
[15:22] Speaker 4: we're all pretty nervous, Like especially before the first episode,
[15:25] Speaker 4: because it's like we don't know like what story we're
[15:27] Speaker 4: going to get, We don't know what yeah, what vibe
[15:31] Speaker 4: they're going to give us, And even that vibe can
[15:33] Speaker 4: ship too, So even after the first episode, we're like, well, Okay,
[15:36] Speaker 4: it's good now, but what's it going to be like.
[15:38] Speaker 6: Next Yeah, but you had to know at least like
[15:41] Speaker 6: early on, hey, I'm going to get some serious screen
[15:44] Speaker 6: time because of the fact that we were losing a lot,
[15:47] Speaker 6: which like is bad for you know, long term game,
[15:52] Speaker 6: but great for getting on TV and having fun.
[15:54] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[15:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, I hadn't known like how just how much I
[15:59] Speaker 4: would be featured. But I didn't know. I was like,
[16:00] Speaker 4: I'm at least gonna be at the tribal councils, you
[16:02] Speaker 4: know what I mean? Like that that's that that happened.
[16:07] Speaker 4: But I will say, you know what's interesting is this
[16:09] Speaker 4: is my first time like really watching the season in
[16:14] Speaker 4: a way that like a superfan would because before this
[16:16] Speaker 4: I had seen like a few seasons, like maybe like
[16:18] Speaker 4: four seasons before I applied, and then after I got on,
[16:21] Speaker 4: they were like you should, you should watch all of
[16:23] Speaker 4: the New Era, and so then I watched it. But
[16:26] Speaker 4: sometimes it was like out of order and all that
[16:28] Speaker 4: stuff because I only had a few months to watch it,
[16:30] Speaker 4: and I was like, I can't go chronologically. I need
[16:33] Speaker 4: to go by based on like what people say is
[16:35] Speaker 4: the best to the worst seasons, and I have to
[16:39] Speaker 4: say having like what do they call it the loser tribe?
[16:43] Speaker 4: The devastated tribe is like dis sorry, the disaster tribe. Yeah,
[16:48] Speaker 4: although devastating is the devastated Yeah, yeah, it's kind of
[16:54] Speaker 4: not fun. I'm like, damn, I want to know what
[16:57] Speaker 4: the other tribes are like, right, Like like I'm happy
[17:01] Speaker 4: to get to know this person so in depth, but
[17:03] Speaker 4: like there are other people and I want to I
[17:04] Speaker 4: want to I want to see them.
[17:05] Speaker 1: Yeah, so people don't remember you were on Volva.
[17:08] Speaker 4: Yes, I was on Volva clip first, Baby, That's how
[17:11] Speaker 4: I played the game.
[17:14] Speaker 5: And you know you're talking about how you didn't really
[17:17] Speaker 5: know how you're going to be perceived in the edit.
[17:20] Speaker 5: Was I mean when you were out there, because Cedric
[17:24] Speaker 5: immediately becomes kind of the the the kind of the
[17:28] Speaker 5: face of your tribe, did you know, like going in that,
[17:32] Speaker 5: You're like, Okay, people might have a problem with the
[17:34] Speaker 5: way that Cedric's playing the game.
[17:36] Speaker 4: I have to say, I wasn't even thinking about Cedric.
[17:39] Speaker 4: I feel like I was so concerned with like how
[17:41] Speaker 4: I would be perceived that my mind wasn't even like
[17:44] Speaker 4: going to how other people might have been perceived. But poor,
[17:48] Speaker 4: poor Cedric, Poor Cedric.
[17:50] Speaker 1: He just really.
[17:53] Speaker 4: He was just there for the experience, you know. He
[17:56] Speaker 4: was like there to like enjoy the beach and the sunrise,
[17:59] Speaker 4: and then all of a sudden, he's he's he's making
[18:02] Speaker 4: all decisions and they're not very good most of the time.
[18:06] Speaker 4: So but I love I love Cedric. I'm giving him ship.
[18:08] Speaker 1: He he kind of had like the weirdest scenario that
[18:12] Speaker 1: I feel like anybody could possibly have on the show,
[18:15] Speaker 1: which is just like, hey, every every bad choice you have,
[18:19] Speaker 1: you make it alone, dude. Like it was just it
[18:23] Speaker 1: was so bad, and he was on my team, and
[18:25] Speaker 1: the whole time, it's just like I'm watching as I'm
[18:28] Speaker 1: like hiding my face because this is the worst experience
[18:31] Speaker 1: I've ever seen.
[18:31] Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, but it made you feel alive, right
[18:34] Speaker 4: because you feared you feared, you felt feared.
[18:36] Speaker 1: I felt clear for like an entire half of a season,
[18:40] Speaker 1: you know.
[18:42] Speaker 3: And we ask about the however many our deliberation tribal
[18:46] Speaker 3: and what being part of that was like.
[18:48] Speaker 4: Oh my god, that just I'm I'm like actually mad
[18:51] Speaker 4: that they deliberated for so long, because like I wanted
[18:54] Speaker 4: to bask in the glow because usually people had the
[18:55] Speaker 4: shot in the dark and it's like whoa, they get
[18:58] Speaker 4: to go back and it's all chill. I had my
[19:00] Speaker 4: like who moment and then everyone started crying, and then
[19:03] Speaker 4: I was like, oh my god, now I got a
[19:05] Speaker 4: fucking be apathetic and like my hands on Say's shoulder
[19:09] Speaker 4: and she's crying, and like Cedric's eyebrows are like this,
[19:12] Speaker 4: and his eyes are so big. I'm behind his like glasses,
[19:15] Speaker 4: and like Justin is just like sitting there, like sitting there,
[19:20] Speaker 4: and we're.
[19:20] Speaker 3: All just like it was like, well, so basically Cedric
[19:24] Speaker 3: has a gun and he has to decide whether he's
[19:26] Speaker 3: gonna shoot Justin or.
[19:28] Speaker 4: Say yeah, yeah, yeah pretty much. Yeah, there was like
[19:34] Speaker 4: a lot of shit that they didn't show in terms
[19:37] Speaker 4: of the conversation. It got like very it got very emotional.
[19:40] Speaker 4: You know. I feel like people's like it touched on
[19:44] Speaker 4: like people's trauma and like the wounds they carried into
[19:48] Speaker 4: the survivor and at that point, it just got so
[19:50] Speaker 4: real that I couldn't even like baskin the glory of
[19:53] Speaker 4: what had just happened for me. So selfishly, I was like,
[19:55] Speaker 4: god damn, Like my shot in the dark felt like this,
[19:59] Speaker 4: like the first temper soon and then the rest of
[20:00] Speaker 4: it was just so heavy. It was so so heavy.
[20:04] Speaker 4: Like people were at the end of it, they're like, Mary, like,
[20:07] Speaker 4: you should have said no, you won't work with say
[20:10] Speaker 4: when Cedric was like, I'll keep you if you promise
[20:13] Speaker 4: to each other.
[20:14] Speaker 1: You cut it.
[20:15] Speaker 4: You gotta cut it.
[20:16] Speaker 1: You gotta cut it.
[20:17] Speaker 4: We gotta start being the family were meant to be.
[20:20] Speaker 4: And uh, he'd like, you know, he has like pastor energy,
[20:26] Speaker 4: you know, you know, yes, And people were like, why
[20:31] Speaker 4: didn't you just say no, I won't I won't be
[20:35] Speaker 4: good with her, so why don't you, you know, not
[20:37] Speaker 4: take her. I wasn't even thinking about that. I was exhausted,
[20:39] Speaker 4: I was fatigued, you know. I wanted to go home.
[20:43] Speaker 4: I go to bed in the dirt. Man, I want
[20:46] Speaker 4: my dirt floor bed.
[20:47] Speaker 1: We all know because we do it all the time
[20:50] Speaker 1: that it's like easy to play the game from the couch,
[20:53] Speaker 1: you know, like, oh, this should have happened. This should
[20:55] Speaker 1: have been the way that it was. That person should
[20:57] Speaker 1: have said this. But it's like, I, I mean, it's
[21:00] Speaker 1: interested to know kind of like because when we are watching,
[21:04] Speaker 1: we're obviously seeing an edit of I mean, so much
[21:08] Speaker 1: time is gone from the show, and so for anybody else,
[21:13] Speaker 1: you know, it's like they don't get to see that
[21:16] Speaker 1: entire deliberation. They see like this one millisecond. So for you,
[21:21] Speaker 1: I mean, are you, like quote unquote happy with the
[21:24] Speaker 1: way your edit fell or was there something that went missing?
[21:28] Speaker 1: They were like, oh, I wish people like knew I
[21:30] Speaker 1: said this.
[21:32] Speaker 4: I think what I'm mad about is missing is just
[21:35] Speaker 4: my presence in the second half. Yeah, I feel that's
[21:38] Speaker 4: kind of like, wait, yeah, how me say something. I'm
[21:42] Speaker 4: just like, after a while, I was like, god, damn,
[21:44] Speaker 4: am I about to get purpled in the second half?
[21:46] Speaker 4: You know? But but yeah, I don't know if there
[21:50] Speaker 4: was any way for them to like show like my feeling, well,
[21:54] Speaker 4: I guess they could have showed it if they wanted
[21:55] Speaker 4: to show confessionals, But like, I was just so fucking
[21:58] Speaker 4: happy to be part of the crew, you know, I
[22:01] Speaker 4: was just happy to have anybody talk to me, and
[22:04] Speaker 4: I think it's like you know, I was like, I
[22:06] Speaker 4: remember saying to confessional to the producers one time. I
[22:09] Speaker 4: was like, I've never gotten bullied, you know. Sometime one
[22:11] Speaker 4: time I had this dude say change on to me,
[22:13] Speaker 4: which is racism, but it's different from bullying. I've never
[22:16] Speaker 4: really been bullied in my.
[22:17] Speaker 1: I feel like it does count as bullied.
[22:19] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's spicy kind of bullying, you know, but only once.
[22:26] Speaker 4: And I was like, I don't really know what the
[22:27] Speaker 4: fuck is going on in the show, you know. I
[22:29] Speaker 4: feel like I feel like I can make friends in
[22:32] Speaker 4: real life, but I don't know why I can't connect
[22:34] Speaker 4: with people here, which is interesting because Jeff actually said
[22:38] Speaker 4: that about me in the deliberation process.
[22:42] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[22:43] Speaker 4: Really, he said, I don't know if I'm going to
[22:45] Speaker 4: get in trouble for this. Oh well it's been said.
[22:47] Speaker 4: I was told, Okay, great, that's that's I was gonna say.
[22:51] Speaker 4: That's what I thought too. But people do listen. I listened,
[22:58] Speaker 4: Hell yeah, But the people who could ge us in
[23:00] Speaker 4: trouble don't listen. That's what exactly?
[23:05] Speaker 1: Is that what you're talking about?
[23:06] Speaker 4: No, the like the producers, Rob is he I mean,
[23:09] Speaker 4: he should be honored that he's on making them murds,
[23:14] Speaker 4: you know, yeah, yeah, exactly.
[23:19] Speaker 1: But what did Jeff say?
[23:21] Speaker 4: He So, first off, my audition video was like super crazy.
[23:25] Speaker 4: I was like, And then I was told that Jeff
[23:29] Speaker 4: might think I was too crazy, Like, for example, we
[23:31] Speaker 4: were supposed to do some kind of like call with
[23:34] Speaker 4: the phone and I had lost my phone in Mexico
[23:36] Speaker 4: a week before, and they were like, maybe not tell Jeff.
[23:39] Speaker 4: Don't tell Jeff that you lost your phone. He already
[23:40] Speaker 4: thinks that you're a little bit too crazy. I was like,
[23:42] Speaker 4: all right, so then yeah, so then I talk about
[23:46] Speaker 4: like therapy and the power of language, and then his
[23:49] Speaker 4: thought about me after that was she's a little odd.
[23:53] Speaker 4: I don't think she can get along with the other
[23:55] Speaker 4: people on the tab. And I was like, bro, I'm
[23:58] Speaker 4: trying to show you my range can be crazy deep.
[24:02] Speaker 4: And I was like mad that he said that, But
[24:06] Speaker 4: wasn't he kind of right?
[24:10] Speaker 1: When you're on a tribe with Say and Cedric and Pizza,
[24:14] Speaker 1: I mean, how are you supposed to get along?
[24:16] Speaker 8: You know?
[24:16] Speaker 4: I know the one person I got along with, the
[24:18] Speaker 4: two people I got along with Boom.
[24:21] Speaker 1: I mean, this is also the same guy who let
[24:22] Speaker 1: Philip on the show twice. You know that's my thing
[24:26] Speaker 1: is like I don't know, Philip the one, yeah, like
[24:29] Speaker 1: who had the feather in his.
[24:31] Speaker 4: Oh yes, yes, and would call the girl her name wrong.
[24:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, and then like I'm an FBI agent potentially that
[24:38] Speaker 1: whole thing. I'm like, I don't know, not to discredit,
[24:41] Speaker 1: you know, Jeff from this, but you know, Cole is
[24:44] Speaker 1: somewhat like not easy to get along with and maybe
[24:47] Speaker 1: too crazy. I don't know.
[24:50] Speaker 3: I would love to see this Tasmanian Devil audition video.
[24:55] Speaker 4: I mean, can I it's three minutes? Do you guys
[24:58] Speaker 4: want to hear? How do we can I share my.
[25:06] Speaker 2: I don't know if you can do that.
[25:07] Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know if you.
[25:08] Speaker 3: Could just get it on your phone and put it
[25:10] Speaker 3: up to the mike. But I don't it's.
[25:12] Speaker 1: Don't feel obligated.
[25:13] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[25:14] Speaker 1: We'll see get upset about it.
[25:15] Speaker 2: Maybe maybe we'll end the episode of that.
[25:17] Speaker 1: How about that?
[25:19] Speaker 4: Yeah. Basically, it was just a video of me running
[25:21] Speaker 4: around my apartment and like having my phone kind of
[25:24] Speaker 4: like this and like pointed towards the camera, and it
[25:27] Speaker 4: was a vision of me in the camera holding my
[25:29] Speaker 4: phone just like talking about I loved it.
[25:33] Speaker 6: I do want to hear your perspective on the shot
[25:37] Speaker 6: in the dark, Like I want to know when you
[25:39] Speaker 6: knew you were going to play it, the feeling of
[25:42] Speaker 6: playing it, like Okay, I'm actually doing this, and then
[25:46] Speaker 6: how long is it between playing it and finding out
[25:51] Speaker 6: like did I did it?
[25:52] Speaker 2: Did it work? The whole process there?
[25:55] Speaker 4: For sure? For sure? Okay? So I think as soon
[26:00] Speaker 4: as we came back from the failed challenge, I knew
[26:03] Speaker 4: I was going to play it. Okay, I had tried
[26:06] Speaker 4: that day to as soon as we came back from
[26:08] Speaker 4: the challenge, I stopped looking for the idol I had
[26:11] Speaker 4: been hunting for like the past few days, and Say
[26:13] Speaker 4: had been following me, and I was when I came
[26:17] Speaker 4: back from the challenge, I was like, well, I could
[26:19] Speaker 4: either keep searching and hope I find it or just
[26:22] Speaker 4: pretend like I already have it, because like, and I
[26:24] Speaker 4: thought that I had a better chance of like bluffing
[26:28] Speaker 4: rather than actually finding it. But then at one point, I,
[26:31] Speaker 4: you know, I think it was I think I'd like,
[26:35] Speaker 4: was it the day before or something? I think I
[26:38] Speaker 4: looked for a lit what's going the last time I
[26:42] Speaker 4: searched my memory. My memory is not very good. People
[26:45] Speaker 4: my friends always go on me for this, and people
[26:47] Speaker 4: always like, you don't remember what happened in Survivor. I'm like, yeah, no,
[26:50] Speaker 4: not really, So.
[26:50] Speaker 1: I can't believe you don't remember one moment from a
[26:53] Speaker 1: thirty day span. Times from a year ago.
[26:56] Speaker 4: Yeah, when I wasn't allowed my diary, Yeah, but I
[27:00] Speaker 4: had had I found a little scroll. I found a
[27:02] Speaker 4: little leaf that looked just like a scroll that outline.
[27:05] Speaker 4: I stuck it in my pocket and I was walking
[27:07] Speaker 4: around with a basic I was like, yeah, I got it.
[27:10] Speaker 4: Then they stuck her hand from my pocket and then
[27:12] Speaker 4: she was like, oh, it's just a leaf. And so
[27:15] Speaker 4: after that, I was like, fuck it, I can't. I
[27:17] Speaker 4: can't do this anymore. I've lost I have to just
[27:20] Speaker 4: pretend like I have something, some kind of power. So
[27:24] Speaker 4: as soon as I got back from the beach, I
[27:25] Speaker 4: was like, well, what would someone you know who feels safe, dude,
[27:28] Speaker 4: they would swim. And so basically from then on, I
[27:30] Speaker 4: knew I was gonna play it. And then when it
[27:33] Speaker 4: came time to go up there and pretend to cast
[27:36] Speaker 4: my vote, I I feel like I'm pretty intuitive, Like
[27:42] Speaker 4: I'm a raking Master, I do tero. You know, I'm
[27:46] Speaker 4: not any more intuitive than anyone else's, but I feel
[27:49] Speaker 4: like I can tap into it, you know. So I
[27:54] Speaker 4: stuck my hand in the little jar, in the little thing,
[27:58] Speaker 4: and I literally touched each die. What are the five?
[28:02] Speaker 4: They're five? Right?
[28:04] Speaker 1: I don't know, I've never placed great questions.
[28:07] Speaker 6: It's I think it's depending on how many players left
[28:12] Speaker 6: in that at the moment.
[28:14] Speaker 2: I think it's all the time, all the time.
[28:18] Speaker 4: Okay, so it's six. Okay. I touched literally every die.
[28:21] Speaker 4: I picked one up and I was like, is this it?
[28:23] Speaker 4: And I was like feeling it? And when I felt
[28:26] Speaker 4: the one that I thought was it, I grabbed it
[28:27] Speaker 4: and I was.
[28:28] Speaker 1: Like, whoa, whoa, I think this is it.
[28:31] Speaker 4: And if you look at my face when he's reading it,
[28:33] Speaker 4: oh wait, So back up we go, we sit down.
[28:37] Speaker 4: I think it's like fifteen to twenty minutes between the
[28:41] Speaker 4: time everyone has cast their vote to the time that
[28:44] Speaker 4: he reads.
[28:45] Speaker 2: Wow.
[28:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, there's like a lot of a lot of downtime,
[28:49] Speaker 4: you know, a lot of time for me to forget
[28:51] Speaker 4: what just happened.
[28:55] Speaker 1: You're like, I'm going to wipe that right now? Did
[28:57] Speaker 1: I did I play my did I.
[28:59] Speaker 4: Play my shot in the dark Holy Shita again? Yeah?
[29:05] Speaker 4: And when you'll see because I've rewatched this this episode
[29:09] Speaker 4: like a couple of times. When Jeff is reading it,
[29:12] Speaker 4: my face I look like a kid at Christmas, you know.
[29:14] Speaker 4: I'm like, it's like an excited look because I'm like,
[29:18] Speaker 4: pretty sure I got it where you know, it's it's
[29:21] Speaker 4: not like, yeah, I have a lot of hope, but I
[29:23] Speaker 4: have a lot of faith at that moment. And then
[29:26] Speaker 4: he reads it and then I react the way that
[29:28] Speaker 4: I feel like someone who understands sports would when their
[29:31] Speaker 4: sports team wins. And in that moment, I felt like
[29:35] Speaker 4: I felt like a dude. You know. I jumped up
[29:38] Speaker 4: and I was like, that's what I'm talking about. I
[29:41] Speaker 4: don't think i've ever said that literally ever.
[29:44] Speaker 5: Well, we all felt the same way because we only
[29:46] Speaker 5: had like a point one percent chance of getting it
[29:50] Speaker 5: right and you nailed it.
[29:52] Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. And some people are like that
[29:54] Speaker 4: was luck, and I'm like, bitch, I do reiki yea
[29:58] Speaker 4: my intuition, she.
[29:59] Speaker 5: Pulled a couple tarot cards. Right before she saw the
[30:02] Speaker 5: full card. It looked like say so she was like, I.
[30:04] Speaker 3: Knew what what I'm doing it was yeah, yeah, point
[30:09] Speaker 3: one six, but it was still impressive.
[30:11] Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I saw the death card and then
[30:13] Speaker 4: I saw it was Justin and I was, oh, that's happening.
[30:17] Speaker 3: You let him know, right, Wait, what did you say
[30:19] Speaker 3: fifteen minutes? I said it was more of a chance
[30:21] Speaker 3: than what was the like? Point one six?
[30:23] Speaker 1: Is that he said? No, I did the math. I
[30:24] Speaker 1: did the math on my.
[30:25] Speaker 3: Cokay, wait, you dude, Chasing said you said it's a
[30:33] Speaker 3: one in six chance.
[30:35] Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, I mean it would actually be a
[30:38] Speaker 1: sixteen percent chance sixteen because you didn't move that decimal over.
[30:43] Speaker 1: So yeah, you're right, but that's okay, that's okay, the public.
[30:48] Speaker 4: Over, that's not You're back now.
[30:52] Speaker 5: Yeah, guys, speaking of Cedric Pete, I believe you have
[30:57] Speaker 5: something from Cedric.
[30:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, I do. Uh, Me and Ace went and saw
[31:01] Speaker 1: an improv Brand.
[31:03] Speaker 3: I'm sorry, was yes, yes, So me and Brand went
[31:09] Speaker 3: and saw Cedric tell a bunch of stories about his
[31:13] Speaker 3: time on Survivor, and then they.
[31:14] Speaker 6: He didn't do the improv, And I do think that's
[31:17] Speaker 6: important to know.
[31:19] Speaker 4: It was, oh, I know what these things are. Tell
[31:21] Speaker 4: stories and then the improv team does bits based on
[31:24] Speaker 4: his stories.
[31:25] Speaker 6: Yes, I think he was a bit confused about what
[31:27] Speaker 6: was happening, but he told great stories.
[31:30] Speaker 1: Yes, I should have gone man Cedric.
[31:34] Speaker 3: I did ask permission from Cedric to bring up something
[31:37] Speaker 3: he said. I don't think he knows that I was
[31:39] Speaker 3: taking a bootleg recording of it, but I'm going to
[31:42] Speaker 3: play that right now.
[31:43] Speaker 4: Don't tell anybody that it's illegal to record without people's
[31:46] Speaker 4: consent in the US.
[31:47] Speaker 8: It was.
[31:50] Speaker 3: It was at an improv show. I can record him.
[31:52] Speaker 1: It's fine. Brand's a lawyer, he'll be all right.
[31:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, and he was on stage and technically it's public, right,
[31:59] Speaker 3: he was on stage giving a speech.
[32:01] Speaker 1: I can Yeah, So I'm not going, Yeah, you're a.
[32:05] Speaker 4: Lawyer, right, but like I care about laws, keep going.
[32:08] Speaker 3: Hopefully y'all will be able to hear this. Let me
[32:10] Speaker 3: know if you can't.
[32:11] Speaker 8: When you first get two Fiji, we all find the
[32:14] Speaker 8: same airplane.
[32:15] Speaker 4: Does sound like a.
[32:21] Speaker 1: Y'all hear that?
[32:22] Speaker 4: It's literally like an NLK recording from like this. The
[32:26] Speaker 4: audio is not, I mean, but I want to I
[32:29] Speaker 4: can hear it?
[32:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, we can. Did you just have a brand?
[32:34] Speaker 8: First get two Fiji, we all fly on the same airplane,
[32:38] Speaker 8: all are instructed to not talk to each other.
[32:41] Speaker 7: It's complete silence.
[32:42] Speaker 8: So you're walking around with eighteen people you're going to
[32:45] Speaker 8: be competing with.
[32:46] Speaker 7: You're on the same airplane.
[32:47] Speaker 8: You're passing them on The flight to go to the
[32:50] Speaker 8: bathroom to fight is fourteen hours or so.
[32:53] Speaker 7: They take your phones, so you don't know what time
[32:55] Speaker 7: it is.
[32:55] Speaker 8: You have no sense of any day, but you also
[32:58] Speaker 8: know it's a long flight side.
[32:59] Speaker 7: But you're sitting next to the people when you get
[33:01] Speaker 7: too feed.
[33:02] Speaker 8: The entire week before filming National Stars, there's still.
[33:06] Speaker 7: No talking, but you're looking at everybody. You're watching everything
[33:09] Speaker 7: and how they eat. You see what they're choosing to be.
[33:13] Speaker 7: Like Mary.
[33:13] Speaker 8: Here's an example. Mary, she's on my season. The entire time,
[33:16] Speaker 8: she's like practicing and she has a frisbee and she's
[33:19] Speaker 8: throwing the frisbee.
[33:20] Speaker 4: I did that once.
[33:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, who does that? And then got a
[33:25] Speaker 3: big leb wow. He said, all the time, you're throwing
[33:28] Speaker 3: the frisbee album all the time.
[33:29] Speaker 4: I did that once because I felt like a jaguar
[33:33] Speaker 4: trapped in a very small zoom. I'm going crazy and
[33:37] Speaker 4: there was one frisbee, so I just kept throwing it up.
[33:39] Speaker 4: But I threw it up really aggressively. It was pretty
[33:42] Speaker 4: crazy because after the season ended, and like before I
[33:45] Speaker 4: had really gotten to know my castmates, like on a
[33:47] Speaker 4: personal level, I was like, Yo, is this racism? Did
[33:51] Speaker 4: they think that I was just like this scary Asian chick,
[33:55] Speaker 4: you know, because I'm Asian? And then everybody was like, yo,
[33:58] Speaker 4: you were fucking bonkers pregame and I was like, oh, okay.
[34:03] Speaker 1: No, I'm with you. I think it was ringcism definitely, hell.
[34:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, hellya, look at you trying to atone for your sins.
[34:08] Speaker 1: But it wasn't bullied.
[34:10] Speaker 6: Remember it's important that we acknowledge when we're wrong and
[34:13] Speaker 6: we continue to learn.
[34:14] Speaker 2: Good job, Chase.
[34:16] Speaker 1: I don't think I was wrong. Ignorant is the word? Yeah, yeah,
[34:22] Speaker 1: not wrong. No, I do want to even think I
[34:24] Speaker 1: was ignorant. I don't think this is on me at all.
[34:27] Speaker 4: I think it's us educational.
[34:29] Speaker 5: The more importantly, the South Carolina public education system. No
[34:32] Speaker 5: one says that they're good, you know what I mean,
[34:33] Speaker 5: So that.
[34:35] Speaker 1: I'm in North Carolina and we don't say it's good.
[34:38] Speaker 1: I mean brand with the law school, so he's obviously
[34:40] Speaker 1: more educationd I.
[34:41] Speaker 4: Will say everyone's English is very good.
[34:44] Speaker 1: Oh, it's actually my first language, believe it or not.
[34:50] Speaker 6: I do want to ask another story that he told
[34:53] Speaker 6: that same evening was about the challenge where there was
[34:57] Speaker 6: the caller and everyone was supposed to go out and.
[34:59] Speaker 2: Do the thing right.
[35:01] Speaker 6: And he claims, and you can say that this is
[35:03] Speaker 6: not true, but he claims that the plan the whole
[35:06] Speaker 6: time was for you to be the caller.
[35:09] Speaker 4: That's true.
[35:10] Speaker 6: You get out there and you say, I can't be
[35:13] Speaker 6: the caller? Is why Cedric ends up being the caller?
[35:16] Speaker 4: Correct? Correct, that's true. That's true. There was a puzzle
[35:19] Speaker 4: at the end of slide puzzle and I never did
[35:21] Speaker 4: a slide puzzle in my life. I me and numbers
[35:24] Speaker 4: and calculations, all of those things there. If you recall,
[35:27] Speaker 4: I was also on a journey where there was it
[35:30] Speaker 4: was a slide puzzle and I didn't get it. So yeah,
[35:33] Speaker 4: when we got out there and the last thing was
[35:35] Speaker 4: a slide puzzle that a caller had to do, I
[35:37] Speaker 4: was like, yo, man, I can't fucking do this. But
[35:41] Speaker 4: then also like neither case Cedric. But that's okay, you know,
[35:44] Speaker 4: we still we still tried. Camilla probably was the funniest
[35:48] Speaker 4: out of everyone at a certain point, like after their
[35:53] Speaker 4: team had done it, Camilla was pretending to be Cedric.
[35:56] Speaker 1: She was like, let's out one yell or scream like
[36:06] Speaker 1: he did on the Wall that one time.
[36:08] Speaker 4: Oh yeah versus Wall. He never gave up. He's right,
[36:15] Speaker 4: I don't know, he's you know, he's got things cooking
[36:20] Speaker 4: about his his his trials and tribulations and accomplishments.
[36:24] Speaker 3: He gets to hang out with Gail King on a
[36:26] Speaker 3: regular basis. That guy is one and he's going to the.
[36:28] Speaker 4: Moon waiting is the one who went to the moon?
[36:31] Speaker 1: Right, Yes, this is big for us. Did Katy Perry.
[36:37] Speaker 4: Did it to age Summer?
[36:44] Speaker 1: That means that how many degrees does that make us
[36:48] Speaker 1: from Katy Perry at this point, PD, because it's it's
[36:51] Speaker 1: you know Cedric now know, I'm just saying no loosely
[36:57] Speaker 1: and Perry and then gaynt Katy Perry.
[37:01] Speaker 5: Ge knows space buddies, you know, or what Mary knows Cedric,
[37:06] Speaker 5: who knows Gail, who knows who knows Katie?
[37:08] Speaker 1: So that four we can do that.
[37:10] Speaker 4: You guys know Cedric, Yeah, Me and Brand know Cedric.
[37:12] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but I didn't. I wasn't there, so I
[37:14] Speaker 1: don't really think it. Me and Chase are one more degree.
[37:17] Speaker 4: For everybody here.
[37:19] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[37:19] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[37:20] Speaker 1: Basically, let me think, who's the most famous person I know?
[37:23] Speaker 1: Maybe they know Cedric. I mean I think.
[37:29] Speaker 6: Realistically I'm the closest to Katie Perry. Okay, on people
[37:34] Speaker 6: people that I mean, we don't need to get to
[37:35] Speaker 6: the people.
[37:35] Speaker 8: Bring it up.
[37:36] Speaker 1: You brought it up. I want your name drop now,
[37:38] Speaker 1: I don't. I mean she might be friends with Jelly Roll.
[37:42] Speaker 2: That's oh you.
[37:45] Speaker 4: You had pictures with Jelly Roll.
[37:47] Speaker 1: What were you doing?
[37:47] Speaker 4: You were out there?
[37:49] Speaker 1: I was out there.
[37:50] Speaker 3: I was I was writing the Gospel Music Awards, the
[37:53] Speaker 3: Double Awards, and Jelly Roll performed in the rain.
[37:57] Speaker 1: Guys, I think I kicked the cake.
[37:58] Speaker 5: Actually I did a commercial with Darius Rutger, who has
[38:02] Speaker 5: a song with Katie Perry.
[38:06] Speaker 4: You guys are famous, much more famous than I thought.
[38:09] Speaker 1: I wouldn't say we're famous. I'd say we're workhorses.
[38:12] Speaker 5: We're really talented individuals who work in different degrees of film.
[38:17] Speaker 1: Why don't you why don't you tell us? Didn't you
[38:19] Speaker 1: not even know it was Darius Rucker when you ran
[38:21] Speaker 1: across him. Yeah, no, I big dog Darius Rutger.
[38:24] Speaker 4: Yeah, And does that mean you walk up to someone
[38:27] Speaker 4: and you're like, what's up, big dog? Yeah? He uh no.
[38:31] Speaker 1: He walked up to me and he said good morning,
[38:32] Speaker 1: and I said, oh, what's up?
[38:33] Speaker 8: Man?
[38:33] Speaker 1: And then I just kind of walked off and they
[38:35] Speaker 1: didn't feel like talking. And then Chase looked at him
[38:37] Speaker 1: and said, you know, if you put your mind to something,
[38:39] Speaker 1: you could you could achieve anything.
[38:41] Speaker 4: Man.
[38:41] Speaker 5: You know what was crazy is he was playing a
[38:43] Speaker 5: guitar and I was like, dude, if you keep following
[38:45] Speaker 5: your dreams, maybe one day you could be a successful singer.
[38:51] Speaker 1: Maybe maybe. No, I didn't say that.
[38:53] Speaker 7: No.
[38:53] Speaker 1: Uh, he was a super nice guy.
[38:55] Speaker 3: Have you ever thought about singing wagon wheel? I think
[38:57] Speaker 3: that would wagon on the wheel something.
[39:01] Speaker 1: Guys, we do have a game for this episode.
[39:04] Speaker 4: We want thanks for transitioning when I knew nothing about
[39:07] Speaker 4: the subjects.
[39:10] Speaker 1: Rucker, he sang the song wagon wheel.
[39:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yes, except he didn't pronounce it wagon and
[39:20] Speaker 3: that yeah, that's why I said that wagon. Actually, one
[39:23] Speaker 3: more thing before we before we get into it, I
[39:26] Speaker 3: want to ask how you became aware of our show,
[39:29] Speaker 3: because we got one thing that blew our minds was
[39:33] Speaker 3: we got a voice message from you where you were
[39:35] Speaker 3: like I fucking love your show. And you might not
[39:38] Speaker 3: remember doing this, but it was a big deal to us.
[39:40] Speaker 3: I think it was like the first or second week.
[39:43] Speaker 2: Did we just do it to all the other podcasts?
[39:46] Speaker 4: I did a voice message? Whose number did I have
[39:48] Speaker 4: to do? The voice?
[39:50] Speaker 1: The Instagram the grand voice?
[39:54] Speaker 4: You sure it wasn't one of you guys who asked
[39:56] Speaker 4: me to say that one of you?
[39:59] Speaker 3: It was a host, Cammi. It was unprompted. This is
[40:01] Speaker 3: like after week one, you're like, thank you so much?
[40:03] Speaker 1: I feel seen.
[40:05] Speaker 8: Was it was it?
[40:06] Speaker 4: Did I find out about the show because of the cameo?
[40:09] Speaker 4: Maybe probably that it could have been that, or the
[40:14] Speaker 4: fact that after I was on Survivor and I realized
[40:17] Speaker 4: there were many podcasts about Survivor, I spared all of
[40:20] Speaker 4: them would have been that too.
[40:23] Speaker 1: So what you're seeing is you found out about us
[40:25] Speaker 1: because PD paid for it.
[40:29] Speaker 4: Honestly, the best, the best ten dollars I've ever been paid.
[40:34] Speaker 1: Perfect, you know, keep paying people, p D. Yeah.
[40:37] Speaker 3: In that cameo, uh, Mary said p D like, I
[40:40] Speaker 3: hope I can meet you one day and here we
[40:43] Speaker 3: are wow on sincastercaster.
[40:47] Speaker 1: Hell yeah we also, I mean.
[40:49] Speaker 5: We were uploading a ton of clips about Mary and
[40:52] Speaker 5: they were all getting like this one guy almost two.
[40:54] Speaker 1: Hundred thousand views. We rode the Mary train. Yeah, we
[40:59] Speaker 1: were doing pr for you early.
[41:01] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[41:01] Speaker 4: You guys were, No, you really were. You guys were
[41:04] Speaker 4: like the first one of the first encounters that I
[41:08] Speaker 4: had where I was like, you know what, I might
[41:09] Speaker 4: be okay because at first I remember listening to that
[41:12] Speaker 4: podcast and I was like, ah, shit, where are they
[41:14] Speaker 4: going with this? Because at first I didn't know PD
[41:16] Speaker 4: where you were going with it. You were just like
[41:18] Speaker 4: and then there's Mary and you were like I saw
[41:21] Speaker 4: her Twitter and I'm like, oh god, fuck, what did
[41:23] Speaker 4: I sweet? And then and then you were like she's cool.
[41:25] Speaker 4: And I was like, hey, they all think I'm cool,
[41:29] Speaker 4: maybe other people will too. And I was like, okay,
[41:31] Speaker 4: I can sleep tonight.
[41:32] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[41:33] Speaker 5: We also we also started telling everyone you were maga.
[41:35] Speaker 5: We told everyone that had listened that you were maga.
[41:37] Speaker 4: Your power. With great power comes great responsibility.
[41:41] Speaker 1: Man m hm. And we abused that power.
[41:44] Speaker 4: You did, and yet and yet I'm still here. Cedric
[41:46] Speaker 4: Pastor has taught me forgiveness.
[41:48] Speaker 1: Oh good, nice.
[41:50] Speaker 8: Wow.
[41:51] Speaker 3: The video that you were talking about getting two hundred
[41:54] Speaker 3: k I think it was the Yurkin tweet one like,
[41:56] Speaker 3: would people send you videos of us talking about you?
[41:59] Speaker 3: We would see all throughout the season. We made that
[42:01] Speaker 3: video preseason, it was getting shared like the whole time.
[42:05] Speaker 4: I did get a few on TikTok. Do my TikTok friends, Well,
[42:09] Speaker 4: all my friends do TikTok, but a few of them
[42:11] Speaker 4: send me things on TikTok and they were all pretty excited.
[42:14] Speaker 4: And I had a few send me that one.
[42:16] Speaker 1: Oh and then Brand's song about you.
[42:18] Speaker 4: Yeah right, yeah, oh my god, like one of the
[42:22] Speaker 4: best presents ever write a song about me. Usually it's
[42:26] Speaker 4: the other way around.
[42:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's usually you writing a song about an ex boyfriend.
[42:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, and listen, when it comes to you, it comes
[42:34] Speaker 2: to you.
[42:34] Speaker 6: And when when someone stands up for somebody when they
[42:37] Speaker 6: get voted out of the game, it just you're inspired
[42:42] Speaker 6: moment in a beautiful, beautiful game.
[42:46] Speaker 4: I will say all of you guys, you know, no
[42:48] Speaker 4: homo or no headero, because I think the times have changed,
[42:50] Speaker 4: no headero. You guys are all very talented, not all
[42:54] Speaker 4: of us. I do need that. Yeah, you're right, Chase,
[42:56] Speaker 4: not you not.
[42:59] Speaker 1: Chase. Chase once again had a song where he was
[43:03] Speaker 1: rapping and then withheld it from us.
[43:05] Speaker 3: So I'm I'm.
[43:07] Speaker 1: Still mad about you guys want to hear it. You
[43:08] Speaker 1: guys want to hear it this guy, Mary. Is this
[43:19] Speaker 1: what you expected when you got on the podcast today?
[43:22] Speaker 4: More or less?
[43:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, Kika, I like, we don't. We wanted to exceed
[43:27] Speaker 1: expectations by making it as chaotic as possible.
[43:30] Speaker 4: I'm having fun. I'm glad that there's a lot of
[43:33] Speaker 4: ship talking. I was scared that it would be like polite,
[43:36] Speaker 4: and I was scared that I was gonna have to
[43:38] Speaker 4: be like, you know, you guys can shoot on me.
[43:40] Speaker 4: It's going to be more fun that way.
[43:41] Speaker 1: Well, we would never do that. We love you. You're
[43:45] Speaker 1: my favorite Survivor player of all time.
[43:49] Speaker 4: You say that every time to every guest. Chase doing that,
[43:56] Speaker 4: I take you freaking little.
[43:59] Speaker 1: Hey Like Chase puts up a Q and A on
[44:02] Speaker 1: his Instagram story two days ago, and I just sent
[44:05] Speaker 1: him a question, just said new Era favorite player. Because
[44:09] Speaker 1: I was like pick one and he didn't. I posted
[44:12] Speaker 1: a picture of every tribe from the New Era.
[44:16] Speaker 3: I went after Mary last season a couple of times,
[44:18] Speaker 3: like when she was trying to get Camilla out that
[44:20] Speaker 3: one week yeah.
[44:22] Speaker 4: Oh my god. People were like, oh my god, me,
[44:24] Speaker 4: you're racist, and I'm just like, oh my god. It's
[44:27] Speaker 4: a game and Camilla is a good player.
[44:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, but.
[44:34] Speaker 4: There was you know, racist come up a few times.
[44:39] Speaker 1: I'm gonna say he has come up more than any
[44:41] Speaker 1: episode we had actually season on Time Machine.
[44:45] Speaker 4: Dude.
[44:46] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's I wasn't there for that because I thought,
[44:49] Speaker 1: I'm not going to partake in this, you know, Okay,
[44:52] Speaker 1: should we go to therapy, should do a game? I
[44:55] Speaker 1: need to oh on here?
[44:58] Speaker 3: Okay, So today we're doing survivor therapy. Since we have
[45:03] Speaker 3: a person who you know, it's their actual job. Mary
[45:06] Speaker 3: does this for a living. She has clients, we thought
[45:08] Speaker 3: it'd be the perfect time that we can all put
[45:10] Speaker 3: on our therapist hats and pick somebody from this season
[45:14] Speaker 3: or anything survivor related and try to give them some help.
[45:19] Speaker 1: P D want to go first?
[45:21] Speaker 3: I don't think I should go first. Mine's weird. How
[45:23] Speaker 3: about Jonathan? Why don't you go first?
[45:26] Speaker 5: Wow?
[45:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, I as I think I'm the most qualified in
[45:30] Speaker 1: here for this, right?
[45:31] Speaker 3: Is that what I was?
[45:33] Speaker 1: Because your wife one degree away, one degree therapist, she is,
[45:39] Speaker 1: she's a counselor and chill.
[45:41] Speaker 4: She's not that chill.
[45:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, she's got that chill. No, she really does. She
[45:47] Speaker 1: has that chill feel. And I think that because of
[45:51] Speaker 1: her work on getting master's degrees and all those other degrees.
[45:54] Speaker 1: I was in the you know, the general vicinity, so
[45:57] Speaker 1: I picked up on all right, right, right, So you know, guys,
[46:00] Speaker 1: I really I really wanted to talk to Sage tonight
[46:04] Speaker 1: because Sage is on my team and I felt like,
[46:08] Speaker 1: you know, why don't we help Sage come to, you know,
[46:12] Speaker 1: some some conclusions about her life, right, Like, I don't
[46:16] Speaker 1: want to suggest anything. That's not what we do as counselors, right.
[46:20] Speaker 1: We help lead people to their conclusion that helps them
[46:23] Speaker 1: navigate their right, right, Mary, that's right, that's right. So
[46:28] Speaker 1: I would love to if I could talk to Sage
[46:31] Speaker 1: for just a moment, I would say, Sage, I can't help.
[46:34] Speaker 1: But notice that you do bring up all of these
[46:37] Speaker 1: really gross hobbies that you have, and well there seem
[46:43] Speaker 1: to be a few, you know, there's like there's two,
[46:45] Speaker 1: there's a lot of poop and black heads collecting, And
[46:50] Speaker 1: I would love to ask Sage, Sage, why do you
[46:53] Speaker 1: feel that this is the first fact that you need
[46:56] Speaker 1: to bring forward when meeting a new crowd of peace people,
[47:01] Speaker 1: Is this where she potentially finds that she is the
[47:03] Speaker 1: most unique and the most valuable in people's eyes? Oh? Wow,
[47:08] Speaker 1: I don't you know? That would be what I would
[47:10] Speaker 1: ask Sage. And I would say, Sage, I believe when
[47:14] Speaker 1: I'm talking to her that she would be much more
[47:19] Speaker 1: than just a blackhead collector, much more than just a
[47:22] Speaker 1: poop or a feces enthusiast. Right. I believe, Sage, that
[47:27] Speaker 1: there is much more deeper down that people would find
[47:31] Speaker 1: highly valuable in a dynamic or a friendship. And so
[47:34] Speaker 1: the next thing I would ask, though, is just from
[47:37] Speaker 1: her past of saying she has trouble keeping friends or
[47:41] Speaker 1: that they didn't want to stick around, I would say, Sage,
[47:44] Speaker 1: do you think that you might be pushing them away
[47:47] Speaker 1: by adding these facts very early on? Or maybe she's
[47:53] Speaker 1: perhaps testing the waters to say, if they can't accept
[47:57] Speaker 1: me at my most extreme, then I don't want to
[48:01] Speaker 1: be too invested in this alliance. I don't want to
[48:03] Speaker 1: be too invested in this friendship. And so Sage, I
[48:07] Speaker 1: would say, consider this. We all love you, we know
[48:11] Speaker 1: you're much more than just black head collecting, and we
[48:15] Speaker 1: believe that you're capable of more. But she just has
[48:18] Speaker 1: to believe that about herself.
[48:19] Speaker 4: She could do white head collections.
[48:21] Speaker 1: I know she could do white heads, potentially cysts. You know,
[48:25] Speaker 1: we believe you know. I'm just saying she's very capable
[48:29] Speaker 1: of much more.
[48:30] Speaker 3: Wait, she's capable of more. Collect I thought the collecting
[48:33] Speaker 3: was the problem in the first place.
[48:35] Speaker 4: Collecting things and collecting friends.
[48:40] Speaker 8: I love it.
[48:42] Speaker 1: I love it. Imagine that all I would challenge her
[48:45] Speaker 1: with this. Imagine all of the people on your tribe
[48:47] Speaker 1: are little black heads, and that your your heart is
[48:51] Speaker 1: the jar, and you want to put them all in there.
[48:55] Speaker 4: I write that down.
[48:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, I actually was hoping you would write that down.
[48:59] Speaker 1: You're hart is the jar, and the rest of everyone
[49:02] Speaker 1: around you are the black heads. This might be problematic
[49:07] Speaker 1: that I said that.
[49:08] Speaker 4: No, No, I think that works. I would, you know,
[49:11] Speaker 4: I would go to that therapy session if my insurance
[49:13] Speaker 4: covered it.
[49:14] Speaker 1: Thank you, And it does it. So you're gonna have
[49:16] Speaker 1: to pay the full thing, A bunch of money.
[49:19] Speaker 4: You can pay for my therapy.
[49:21] Speaker 5: Oh see, daddy, freak out, what's going on over there?
[49:24] Speaker 5: I was just, you know, someone mentioned, you know, affording something,
[49:28] Speaker 5: and I just got that Darius Rutger one degree away money.
[49:32] Speaker 3: You know I had time Darius Rutger. You think he's
[49:34] Speaker 3: got time for us? Yeah, come on, guys, I mean I.
[49:37] Speaker 2: As much fun as we're poking fun at Chase.
[49:39] Speaker 6: I do want to acknowledge Chase was the only one
[49:41] Speaker 6: that while I was live streaming and raising money for
[49:44] Speaker 6: charity all weekend, only one person here gave and it
[49:47] Speaker 6: was Chase.
[49:47] Speaker 1: That's not true that.
[49:50] Speaker 2: Three cents Barry gave.
[49:57] Speaker 1: I gave my support Brand because I said, how are you?
[50:01] Speaker 1: I asked, oh yeah, and that's enough going. Brand did
[50:05] Speaker 1: a twenty four hour live stream where he raised my
[50:08] Speaker 1: dollars for chick.
[50:10] Speaker 6: Wait, technically it was twenty nine hours, but it's really
[50:13] Speaker 6: it's neither here nor there.
[50:15] Speaker 4: No, truly neither here nor there. That's crazy. Did you
[50:18] Speaker 4: like take it to the bathroom when you pete and no, no.
[50:22] Speaker 7: No, no, no, no no no.
[50:23] Speaker 6: There's there's multiple people involved, so you took your little
[50:26] Speaker 6: headset mic off.
[50:27] Speaker 2: Somebody is always yes, you always take the headset off.
[50:30] Speaker 6: You don't want to, you know, have a jink situation
[50:33] Speaker 6: where you say I killed her.
[50:34] Speaker 1: You know one of those I kept watching and I said,
[50:37] Speaker 1: if he just left that mic on while in the bathroom,
[50:39] Speaker 1: I might give to this.
[50:41] Speaker 5: So I feel they need to I need to point
[50:42] Speaker 5: out what fans said after I donated, because I I
[50:46] Speaker 5: donated some money to the stream, and uh, he brought
[50:50] Speaker 5: it up on the stream like he did all the donations.
[50:52] Speaker 5: He goes Chase donated one hundred dollars. But I know
[50:55] Speaker 5: how many subscribers he has. How about your donate some more?
[50:59] Speaker 4: Oh so it wasn't good enough.
[51:01] Speaker 8: I love it.
[51:03] Speaker 2: And it was great.
[51:05] Speaker 6: Listen, Sometimes you have to shame people into reaching your goals.
[51:11] Speaker 2: And I'm not above that.
[51:12] Speaker 4: That's beautiful for the children, for the children, the kids.
[51:16] Speaker 1: And we're letting brand do therapy tonight.
[51:18] Speaker 4: Is that? Yeah, let you go next, We're letting him try. Well.
[51:21] Speaker 6: I do want to bring up I do want to
[51:23] Speaker 6: bring up Ris God because I can't help. But notice
[51:28] Speaker 6: Risk God that every time you talk about yourself, you almost.
[51:34] Speaker 2: Like a tick.
[51:35] Speaker 6: I have to say riz g O, d Ris God baby,
[51:40] Speaker 6: And I want to know why you listen. I like it,
[51:44] Speaker 6: I find it endearing, but I can't help but wonder
[51:48] Speaker 6: why you feel the need to do that.
[51:49] Speaker 2: You are wonderful the way that you are.
[51:53] Speaker 6: You are a beautiful boy, you play a wonderful game.
[51:57] Speaker 4: I'm very hot lesbian too, did you? They were like,
[52:01] Speaker 4: they were like, this is like this might be the
[52:03] Speaker 4: sexiest lesbian ever.
[52:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I mean, I haven't thought about that.
[52:09] Speaker 1: But he's a beautiful I mean top three, and I
[52:13] Speaker 1: just can't help but wonders the top Who's who's number one?
[52:16] Speaker 7: In two?
[52:20] Speaker 4: Chase is number one?
[52:21] Speaker 6: That's ye, yes, Chase and risk God or battle it
[52:29] Speaker 6: out for third. But why do you want Why do
[52:33] Speaker 6: you feel the need to do that? Do you feel
[52:35] Speaker 6: is it a coping mechanism? Is it, you know, a
[52:38] Speaker 6: way for you to feel like you are kind of
[52:41] Speaker 6: in charge of the way in which people perceive you,
[52:44] Speaker 6: like you want them to know, Hey, I'm a riz god,
[52:49] Speaker 6: I am going to dominate. Do you feel the need
[52:51] Speaker 6: to constantly say that because you're worried that your game
[52:55] Speaker 6: perhaps isn't that amazing. Perhaps you're worried that you might fail,
[53:00] Speaker 6: and your way of getting ahead of that is having
[53:02] Speaker 6: this fun, silly little gimmick.
[53:04] Speaker 1: Again.
[53:05] Speaker 5: I like it.
[53:06] Speaker 6: I don't get I'm not mad at I'm not even
[53:08] Speaker 6: annoyed by it, but it is something that I've noticed,
[53:11] Speaker 6: and I've just wondered.
[53:12] Speaker 2: Why, why is God?
[53:14] Speaker 6: Do you feel the need to spell it, say it
[53:18] Speaker 6: and then say baby.
[53:22] Speaker 3: Is there any uplifting part of this or just like why, no,
[53:26] Speaker 3: it's beautiful boy.
[53:28] Speaker 1: I did say he was a beautiful boy.
[53:31] Speaker 2: I'm not saying.
[53:37] Speaker 6: I'm not I'm not saying I'm not gonna tell him, hey,
[53:40] Speaker 6: you have to stop it.
[53:41] Speaker 2: I just I just would like for him.
[53:43] Speaker 1: To maybe consider why, consider the why.
[53:47] Speaker 3: So you want him to get on a confessional and
[53:49] Speaker 3: be like, hey, everybody, so this is why I say
[53:51] Speaker 3: my name this way every single time you're.
[53:54] Speaker 1: PD, Hey, p D, I forget we were doing this,
[53:57] Speaker 1: So maybe just shove all the way off. I'm doing
[53:59] Speaker 1: the best. In Brand's defense, you are simply posing the
[54:04] Speaker 1: questions to risk God and allowing him to discover to
[54:08] Speaker 1: dig a little deeper within himself.
[54:10] Speaker 2: You know, and I did again. I'm not say you
[54:14] Speaker 2: too many times, but he is a beautiful boy.
[54:16] Speaker 5: Yeah, beautiful Top three Lesbion, top three beautiful boys.
[54:20] Speaker 1: Potentially whoa I said what I said? That might be
[54:25] Speaker 1: who's next? Should I do this? Yeah, let's hear yours man.
[54:29] Speaker 3: Okay, So my therapy session is for Shannon. And it's
[54:33] Speaker 3: important for me to start this by saying, I don't
[54:35] Speaker 3: condone the use of AI, but it was brought to
[54:38] Speaker 3: my attention by somebody in our comments that Shannon used
[54:41] Speaker 3: AI and got it to talk to her like Ramdas
[54:43] Speaker 3: and Jesus.
[54:46] Speaker 1: Have we have we all heard that brand? Did you
[54:47] Speaker 1: get about that.
[54:50] Speaker 4: Advice? Right?
[54:51] Speaker 2: Yes?
[54:52] Speaker 1: So I'm gonna hold on real quick at risk of
[54:55] Speaker 1: embarrassing myself. Who was the first.
[55:01] Speaker 3: He was kicked out of Harvard for doing acid with students,
[55:04] Speaker 3: and then became like a spiritual teacher?
[55:06] Speaker 1: Okay, and then now who's Jesus.
[55:10] Speaker 4: Dude? That's I'm glad you asked. I didn't know either.
[55:13] Speaker 1: I was scared this is gonna take a long time.
[55:16] Speaker 3: So I thought that it would be best for me
[55:18] Speaker 3: because if I want to get through to Shannon, I
[55:20] Speaker 3: got to speak her language, so I use chat GPT.
[55:24] Speaker 1: Oh.
[55:26] Speaker 3: This is a therapy session for Shannon in the style
[55:29] Speaker 3: of Jesus Christ and ramdash Beloved, Shannon, be not troubled
[55:37] Speaker 3: by the words that others cast upon you, for the
[55:40] Speaker 3: world will always speak vile things, such as baseless comparisons
[55:43] Speaker 3: to Charles Manson. When you walk in the light of sincerity.
[55:49] Speaker 3: The shadows will misunderstand you, but the light knows its source. Remember, child,
[55:56] Speaker 3: your path is not to prove your purity, but to
[55:59] Speaker 3: live it.
[56:00] Speaker 1: Let your heart.
[56:00] Speaker 3: Remain soft, even when the world and Jonathan would have
[56:04] Speaker 3: you harden it. You stand now among new faces, a
[56:08] Speaker 3: new tribe. Some may see you as a threat, some
[56:11] Speaker 3: may see you as a mystery. But do not shrink
[56:14] Speaker 3: or perform. Simply be the power of loved when lived authentically,
[56:19] Speaker 3: is a quiet revolution. Let them see your kindness without calculation,
[56:23] Speaker 3: your strength without armor. When you walk with awareness, every
[56:27] Speaker 3: moment becomes an invitation to return to God, to love
[56:31] Speaker 3: that infinite field that Ramdas spoke of, where we were
[56:34] Speaker 3: all just walking each other home. So even in the game,
[56:38] Speaker 3: even in the strategy, you, Shannon Fairweather, can walk with grace.
[56:42] Speaker 1: You can play with love.
[56:43] Speaker 3: And if fear rises, and it will meet it as
[56:46] Speaker 3: a friend. Say to it, Ah, I see you, old companion.
[56:50] Speaker 1: You were here to remind me to trust again. Shannon.
[56:54] Speaker 1: Remember this. You were not here to be understood. You
[56:57] Speaker 1: are here to understand, and you were.
[56:59] Speaker 3: Not here here to be approved of. You are here
[57:02] Speaker 3: to awaken. And when you walk in that remembrance. No
[57:05] Speaker 3: one can touch the quiet piece that lives in your chest.
[57:08] Speaker 3: So go forth, daughter of light. Let your laughter be
[57:11] Speaker 3: a prayer, Let your stillness be your power. Play, play
[57:15] Speaker 3: your game, but keep your soul even in this wild
[57:18] Speaker 3: island of shifting alliances.
[57:20] Speaker 1: Love never leaves you.
[57:22] Speaker 3: For love is you?
[57:26] Speaker 4: Oh my God, Oh my God?
[57:30] Speaker 1: Is married to a therapist?
[57:32] Speaker 2: Might be?
[57:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, according to some people. My side Hurds by the
[57:40] Speaker 1: side Hurds went on for a while.
[57:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, I really, I really hope that Shannon listens to
[57:50] Speaker 3: this and gets encouragement from that, because Jonathan was very
[57:53] Speaker 3: mean to Shannon in the last episode of our podcast.
[57:56] Speaker 1: I can't help it that I've been reading the true
[57:59] Speaker 1: crime novel at the moment, So I'm just saying it
[58:03] Speaker 1: just leaked into the podcast.
[58:06] Speaker 4: What does Shannon have to do with true crime?
[58:09] Speaker 1: I look, I don't know if you've listened to the
[58:11] Speaker 1: last episode, but I was. I was reading I've been
[58:15] Speaker 1: reading a Charles Manson investor.
[58:18] Speaker 4: Charles. Yeah, I don't know that.
[58:20] Speaker 1: This is all I did was compare her to Charles Manson.
[58:25] Speaker 1: Is that too bad of a thing to do.
[58:28] Speaker 3: It's not a big deal, Mary, you don't have to
[58:30] Speaker 3: act like we know that now that we're not talking
[58:32] Speaker 3: about you every week, that you're not listening.
[58:35] Speaker 4: No, I actually I actually was. I actually was. I'll
[58:39] Speaker 4: pull pull up your about Look, look, I listen. I
[58:44] Speaker 4: listened up to the last eight minutes.
[58:46] Speaker 1: Wow, minutes probably all adds as this. You are a
[58:55] Speaker 1: Survivor player by far?
[58:56] Speaker 2: What what speed do you listen at?
[58:59] Speaker 8: One?
[59:00] Speaker 1: Three?
[59:00] Speaker 4: Oh? I know, cuckoo.
[59:04] Speaker 1: I'm might have to go back to Jeff and tell him,
[59:07] Speaker 1: you know, she listens on a one.
[59:09] Speaker 4: I listen on a one, dude. I don't know how
[59:10] Speaker 4: people listen on a three. I know sometimes I talk
[59:12] Speaker 4: like a three, but like, I don't know how people
[59:14] Speaker 4: do it. It's just very stressful.
[59:17] Speaker 1: Mary. Do you have a therapy session planned?
[59:20] Speaker 4: I do. It's not for a person on this season,
[59:24] Speaker 4: it's okay for a person on all the seasons.
[59:26] Speaker 1: Oh, let's hear it.
[59:28] Speaker 2: Oh so for Jeffrey props.
[59:31] Speaker 4: Could I give some background? Yeah? Okay, so it's it's
[59:35] Speaker 4: it's been heavy on my heart. Oh so okay. So
[59:40] Speaker 4: we were watching the episode, me and my boyfriend, and
[59:43] Speaker 4: I was like just talking smack about Jeff, and he's like,
[59:46] Speaker 4: do you like not like Jeff? And I was like
[59:48] Speaker 4: an annoying and he's like what happened? And I was like, well,
[59:52] Speaker 4: lots of things, but this one time at a tribal
[59:55] Speaker 4: council when it was like the mergatory, murgatory whatever people
[1:00:01] Speaker 4: call it. I started it off. He made me start
[1:00:04] Speaker 4: it off. He was like so merry, like how are
[1:00:07] Speaker 4: you feeling today back back at camp? And I was like, well, Jeff,
[1:00:12] Speaker 4: as they say on Love Island, my head's all scrambled.
[1:00:16] Speaker 4: And then he was like, shut up. We do not
[1:00:20] Speaker 4: need to hear about Love Island. What the fuck was that?
[1:00:24] Speaker 8: And then.
[1:00:27] Speaker 4: He said fuck in it? And I got scared.
[1:00:29] Speaker 8: I was like.
[1:00:31] Speaker 1: He didn't.
[1:00:32] Speaker 4: He didn't. He didn't say shut up. He probably didn't
[1:00:34] Speaker 4: say shut but that's what it felt for me, you know,
[1:00:36] Speaker 4: like emotionally my heart regis that. And I was like
[1:00:40] Speaker 4: what and I just kind of and everybody was like
[1:00:42] Speaker 4: staring at me, and I was like, oh my god,
[1:00:44] Speaker 4: what did I say? It was my pish accent that bad?
[1:00:49] Speaker 4: And then like and then he was like winning his
[1:00:52] Speaker 4: little rant and then he was like all right, now
[1:00:54] Speaker 4: try it again. And I was like, well, it's like
[1:00:57] Speaker 4: we're all at a dog park and snipping each other's
[1:00:59] Speaker 4: butts and then they use that, and then later on
[1:01:02] Speaker 4: I found out that it's because Love Island apparently like
[1:01:06] Speaker 4: bought out the Ponderosa or something from the year before.
[1:01:10] Speaker 4: Don't quote me. I don't know. I haven't looked it up,
[1:01:12] Speaker 4: but that's what people say. Yeah, and so I'm just
[1:01:16] Speaker 4: kind of like, well, you know, sue me for one
[1:01:18] Speaker 4: to do my British accent. I told my friends that
[1:01:20] Speaker 4: I would say that on national television. So my advice
[1:01:24] Speaker 4: for Jeff. You know, people have heard of this therapy
[1:01:27] Speaker 4: called DBT dialectical behavioral therapy. WHOA right. It's about it's about, like,
[1:01:32] Speaker 4: you know, making sure that you are aware that two
[1:01:35] Speaker 4: things can be true at the same time, and about
[1:01:38] Speaker 4: like mindfulness. I'm proposing a therapy not called DBT, but
[1:01:43] Speaker 4: called b DT big dig therapy where you start acting
[1:01:49] Speaker 4: like you have a big dig about it. It's your
[1:01:52] Speaker 4: fucking show and I'm here because I want to be
[1:01:55] Speaker 4: on the show. Can you at least pretend to have
[1:01:56] Speaker 4: a big dick about it? Sue me for watching another show.
[1:02:00] Speaker 4: I didn't know I was not allowed to have that
[1:02:02] Speaker 4: a CBS.
[1:02:02] Speaker 1: Show, isn't it. I don't Yeah, that's crazy dude.
[1:02:08] Speaker 4: But but my my advice is, you know, for just
[1:02:12] Speaker 4: and for everyone, is I want people to ask themselves
[1:02:16] Speaker 4: in any situation, how can I have a big dick
[1:02:19] Speaker 4: about this? And it's okay if you don't have the answer,
[1:02:24] Speaker 4: because what's important in life sometimes is that we ask
[1:02:27] Speaker 4: the right questions.
[1:02:28] Speaker 2: That's right.
[1:02:29] Speaker 4: Keep trying, keep trying, because I don't even have a
[1:02:32] Speaker 4: big dick, and I have a big dick about most
[1:02:33] Speaker 4: things exactly. So it's if I can do it, you
[1:02:37] Speaker 4: can do it.
[1:02:38] Speaker 1: Chase really needed this, jeff Sorry, I will say.
[1:02:42] Speaker 6: Mary, it's it is possible that Jeffrey has maybe he
[1:02:46] Speaker 6: already began doing the work there was. He's notoriously like
[1:02:51] Speaker 6: just hates other shows, I feel like, and it was
[1:02:54] Speaker 6: like very against other players going on other shows and
[1:02:58] Speaker 6: has sense kind of backed off of that opinion.
[1:03:02] Speaker 1: And perhaps this is different though.
[1:03:04] Speaker 3: This is like a bookang coming up on your territory,
[1:03:08] Speaker 3: buying out your land, and he's like, only one of
[1:03:11] Speaker 3: us can and that's what they do.
[1:03:14] Speaker 1: They buy it or they they buy the land. This
[1:03:17] Speaker 1: is like wants to sell coke in this area. He
[1:03:20] Speaker 1: doesn't want any other people coming in.
[1:03:22] Speaker 4: Okay, that's that's good perspective. That's good perspective. You know,
[1:03:25] Speaker 4: knock if you buck, if you when you put it
[1:03:27] Speaker 4: in that way, you got to defend your turf.
[1:03:29] Speaker 1: But you should.
[1:03:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, lash out when Mary wants to do her accent.
[1:03:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, don't talk to Marry that way.
[1:03:36] Speaker 4: I just wanted to do a British accent.
[1:03:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, if you talked to Marry that way,
[1:03:40] Speaker 1: we're all for mad, which I know Jeff he does
[1:03:44] Speaker 1: not want the four of us mad. No, No, you
[1:03:47] Speaker 1: don't want the Yeah, the wrath of four white podcasters,
[1:03:53] Speaker 1: you do not.
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: That's true.
[1:03:56] Speaker 6: Where four, where two or more white podcasters are gathered,
[1:04:00] Speaker 6: look out, danger, lurk.
[1:04:02] Speaker 3: It's like a murder of crows, you know, hopefully, you know,
[1:04:05] Speaker 3: whenever we reach out to CBS and be like, hey,
[1:04:07] Speaker 3: can we have exit interviews, they don't listen to this one.
[1:04:10] Speaker 5: We don't want them, not after that, right, you know,
[1:04:15] Speaker 5: just just because of this, I might include Jeff in
[1:04:18] Speaker 5: my therapy before we get out of here.
[1:04:20] Speaker 2: Okay, because you forgot too, No.
[1:04:24] Speaker 1: I didn't forget. I have a whole thing. I have
[1:04:25] Speaker 1: a whole word for word what Mary said. I'd be
[1:04:28] Speaker 1: really fun. We're gonna know. Uh No, I had a
[1:04:31] Speaker 1: I had a thing. I was prepared. Guys, today I'm
[1:04:33] Speaker 1: gonna be talking to Detective Cigarette. I wish we had
[1:04:38] Speaker 1: our little just imagine it's there.
[1:04:39] Speaker 2: Imagine we'll fix it post.
[1:04:44] Speaker 1: I think I did.
[1:04:44] Speaker 5: I nailed it, Detective Cigarette. I know that it seems
[1:04:50] Speaker 5: like you are barely in the show right now. The
[1:04:53] Speaker 5: whole tight okay, because sure you've barely gotten any confessionals,
[1:04:58] Speaker 5: But you know what's better than talk active listening, and
[1:05:03] Speaker 5: you are so locked in with your listening that you
[1:05:06] Speaker 5: don't even need to be talking in confessionals. And that's
[1:05:08] Speaker 5: what's so great is that you have meta cognition, right,
[1:05:13] Speaker 5: you know that your thoughts have a direct result on
[1:05:16] Speaker 5: your own actions. And even though you are barely in
[1:05:19] Speaker 5: the show, I cannot stress that enough, the times which
[1:05:22] Speaker 5: you are on the show show congruence. Your thoughts meet
[1:05:27] Speaker 5: your actions, right. It's like when you spoke up and
[1:05:31] Speaker 5: told Jeff that this reward sucks. That is harmonious with
[1:05:35] Speaker 5: your thoughts, and I think that's great And let's not
[1:05:38] Speaker 5: get discouraged, Detective Cigarette. If you just think, if this
[1:05:42] Speaker 5: is what you think, if you think, because you're barely
[1:05:44] Speaker 5: in the show that it's because Jeff hates you for
[1:05:47] Speaker 5: speaking up about his reward. You can sigrette about it,
[1:05:50] Speaker 5: all right, let's not forget about it. I don't care
[1:05:53] Speaker 5: about Let's not forget Rachel, right, whose only moment pre
[1:05:58] Speaker 5: Merge involved a reward challenge, just like yours, Detective Sigarette.
[1:06:04] Speaker 5: Rachel tried to sneak some rice in her pocket, and
[1:06:07] Speaker 5: that made all of us notice her before she disappeared
[1:06:10] Speaker 5: for episodes and episodes at a time. And at your
[1:06:13] Speaker 5: reward challenge, Siggrette, when you spoke out about the fruit,
[1:06:16] Speaker 5: this is your big moment, and after Merge, you will
[1:06:19] Speaker 5: rise up from the flames of non.
[1:06:20] Speaker 1: Confessionals and you will win this season. Thank you. She's
[1:06:25] Speaker 1: on the case. Wow.
[1:06:27] Speaker 3: So you're saying Jeff needs to have a big dick
[1:06:29] Speaker 3: about the fruit and not purple.
[1:06:31] Speaker 4: I think exactly exactly. He's got to have a big
[1:06:34] Speaker 4: dick about the fruit.
[1:06:34] Speaker 6: Can you imagine that, Mary, Like when you get there's
[1:06:38] Speaker 6: fruit in front of you and just being like that's
[1:06:40] Speaker 6: for snacking.
[1:06:41] Speaker 1: I die.
[1:06:44] Speaker 4: I will say, I mean, she's not wrong. Two things
[1:06:46] Speaker 4: can be true at the same time. Right, she's not wrong.
[1:06:49] Speaker 4: And also I was fucking lit for the fruit. Them
[1:06:54] Speaker 4: were the fucking juiciest fruit that I've ever had, the watermelon,
[1:06:58] Speaker 4: the banana. Yeah, it was delicious, and I don't think
[1:07:01] Speaker 4: anything really topped it after that, because I it was
[1:07:05] Speaker 4: like it was like the wanting the food for so
[1:07:08] Speaker 4: long and finally getting it. It was delicious, So I.
[1:07:12] Speaker 5: Didn't mean to go she enjoyed it on Jeff, But
[1:07:16] Speaker 5: after hearing what he did to Mary, I got very
[1:07:18] Speaker 5: upset with Jeff.
[1:07:19] Speaker 1: I went a little too hard in the paint. I apologize, Jeff,
[1:07:22] Speaker 1: I apologize. I know he listened.
[1:07:24] Speaker 4: Look, he's trying to. He's trying to.
[1:07:29] Speaker 1: We love CBS, We appreciate CBS did a we actually
[1:07:36] Speaker 1: worshiped ces.
[1:07:38] Speaker 4: Jeff, you're the man.
[1:07:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Please don't pull the trigger anyway.
[1:07:46] Speaker 2: Wait which trigger?
[1:07:47] Speaker 6: Yeah?
[1:07:48] Speaker 1: Wait, I don't know. He just needs to have a
[1:07:51] Speaker 1: big dick about it. Yeah.
[1:07:54] Speaker 3: I wish we could title the episode that, but I
[1:07:56] Speaker 3: think have a big dick about it featuring Mary, Mary,
[1:08:01] Speaker 3: it'd be a weird title.
[1:08:04] Speaker 1: Wait, no, it actually has to have Jeff's name as well.
[1:08:07] Speaker 1: That's the thing, you know, like.
[1:08:12] Speaker 4: The correction.
[1:08:14] Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no, don't have a big
[1:08:18] Speaker 1: dick about it Jeff Broke featuring teaching. Actually it says said, bye, yeah.
[1:08:27] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna be I trust you guys will come
[1:08:30] Speaker 4: up with something better.
[1:08:32] Speaker 1: Don't put that look. For the past two weeks they've
[1:08:36] Speaker 1: titled it something I've said, so just saying it may
[1:08:39] Speaker 1: still be what I just said. Yeah, it's going to
[1:08:41] Speaker 1: be my wife. It's a therapist, That's what it's gonna be.
[1:08:46] Speaker 3: Does anybody else have any more therapy sessions they want
[1:08:49] Speaker 3: to give out? Or we wrapping this thing up?
[1:08:52] Speaker 4: I do want to say at first, when I glanced
[1:08:54] Speaker 4: at the episode title, the title episode of the last episode,
[1:08:59] Speaker 4: where I thought it said Charles Mansion, and I was like,
[1:09:02] Speaker 4: it's Charles Manson. Did did Chase title us? Because I
[1:09:06] Speaker 4: know he doesn't know a lot about history? Yeah?
[1:09:10] Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, and Chase I would be like, actually
[1:09:15] Speaker 1: it's Charles Manson and he was. He would be like
[1:09:17] Speaker 1: he was a cop, right, And I'm like, well no,
[1:09:19] Speaker 1: but cops were involved. Like making fun of Chase. Making
[1:09:23] Speaker 1: fun of Chase is the best way to end this.
[1:09:25] Speaker 3: Mary, thank you so much, uh not only for coming
[1:09:28] Speaker 3: on the show, but for participating last year so much,

[1:09:49] Speaker 1: Even if the shade was real, we would we would
