## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Welcome to the grand finale of Big Bro Club. I'm
[0:04] Speaker 1: the hoh speaking that's right. I'm the head of Household
[0:07] Speaker 1: PD who had the final three in the Big Brother Draft,
[0:13] Speaker 1: and I'm here with the Big Brother Loser, Chase. How
[0:16] Speaker 1: you feel it, Chase, I'm.
[0:17] Speaker 2: The BBL, dude, the big loser.
[0:21] Speaker 1: Everybody calls Chase the BBL for some reason. They were
[0:23] Speaker 1: calling him that before we had a Big Brother Pod.
[0:29] Speaker 2: The BBL man. It wasn't even close, dude, And I'm
[0:32] Speaker 2: gonna be completely transparent with everybody. After Keanu went home,
[0:37] Speaker 2: I didn't even watch the episodes. I watched the finale,
[0:40] Speaker 2: but I missed the other two.
[0:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, he just he didn't want to finish out the
[0:44] Speaker 1: journey because we made it all the way until what
[0:47] Speaker 1: we want.
[0:48] Speaker 2: How many episodes of the show were They're forty. There
[0:50] Speaker 2: was three a week for three months, so yeah, tons
[0:54] Speaker 2: of episodes. We make it all the way to the end.
[0:57] Speaker 1: And I guess Chase is like, you know, I don't
[0:59] Speaker 1: I can skip these two and then just watch.
[1:02] Speaker 2: I just did not care at all, dude. Once Keana
[1:05] Speaker 2: was gone, I didn't. I don't like Morgan, I don't
[1:08] Speaker 2: like Vince. And then I really didn't care for Ashley either.
[1:11] Speaker 2: She turned on. She turned on actually being a good
[1:14] Speaker 2: player in the finale, which was great. You know, she
[1:18] Speaker 2: explained how she was a great player the whole time, right,
[1:22] Speaker 2: but she wasn't. But she didn't turn it on until
[1:24] Speaker 2: the finale because that was the that was part of
[1:26] Speaker 2: the mass that was but causing it sounded like it's
[1:31] Speaker 2: me and I'm a big Ashley defender. I have been
[1:33] Speaker 2: all season that. You know, it was great strategy, but
[1:36] Speaker 2: she was boring all seasons. I don't. I don't think so.
[1:39] Speaker 2: I was watching the live feeds.
[1:41] Speaker 1: I there was a moment where Ashley was on the
[1:43] Speaker 1: couch and she explained her strategy to the camera and
[1:48] Speaker 1: I happened to be watching, and I was like, oh
[1:50] Speaker 1: my god, I thought you were an idiot this whole time.
[1:53] Speaker 1: And then yeah, she's speaking like very eloquently to the camera,
[1:58] Speaker 1: the live feed camera, and that moment, and I was like, Wow,
[2:01] Speaker 1: I can't believe she's fooled everybody. And if she makes
[2:05] Speaker 1: it to the end, this would be a great thing
[2:07] Speaker 1: to It would be like when Sue told everybody her
[2:11] Speaker 1: real age.
[2:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, that shocking moment. Yeah, I mean when she did
[2:17] Speaker 2: the Elwoods monologue a few weeks ago. I think that's
[2:19] Speaker 2: when everybody realized, oh, she's not dumb, but she still
[2:23] Speaker 2: wasn't making interesting moves. It was the Vincent Morgan show
[2:27] Speaker 2: for the last month. It was.
[2:29] Speaker 1: And that's also why I found the show interesting at
[2:33] Speaker 1: the very end, Oh yeah, because it's like, how much
[2:35] Speaker 1: can this guy crash out? And as we saw in
[2:37] Speaker 1: the finale, the most a person can crash out, he
[2:42] Speaker 1: crashed out.
[2:43] Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Yeah. And when I say I didn't watch
[2:45] Speaker 2: the episodes, guys, I still kept up with all the
[2:47] Speaker 2: live feeds and the and the clips on Twitter, so
[2:50] Speaker 2: so I knew what happened. I just didn't feel the
[2:51] Speaker 2: need to watch the full episodes. But I did watch
[2:54] Speaker 2: the whole finale because I wanted a nice book into
[2:57] Speaker 2: this journey that we've been on and what a it's been.
[3:00] Speaker 1: We'll reflect on that a little bit later, but let's
[3:03] Speaker 1: talk about the finale and how in the beginning of
[3:05] Speaker 1: it they were in that competition that made them look
[3:08] Speaker 1: like idiots. Yes, I wouldn't have done well on that one.
[3:12] Speaker 1: I think I would have crushed it. Actually, when I
[3:14] Speaker 1: was watching it, I was like, I want to try that.
[3:16] Speaker 2: I don't do well with the spin and stuff like
[3:19] Speaker 2: how Vince was saying and Ashley how they both felt
[3:22] Speaker 2: like they were going to pass out. That probably would
[3:23] Speaker 2: have been me too.
[3:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, I was thinking more about just like, can I
[3:27] Speaker 1: hold myself up for that long?
[3:29] Speaker 2: Yeah? I think I could do that just fine. It's
[3:31] Speaker 2: the spinning that I would have been able to do.
[3:34] Speaker 2: You know what, let's book it. Let's put me and
[3:36] Speaker 2: Chase in the helicopter challenge. That's what Big Brothers should
[3:41] Speaker 2: just hire us to come on and do all of
[3:43] Speaker 2: the challenges after the episodes to show people how crazy
[3:47] Speaker 2: it can get.
[3:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, let me do the wal comp I would love that.
[3:50] Speaker 1: But Morgan wins because she's the most in shape person.
[3:54] Speaker 1: We all knew Vince with his cramps, he was gonna
[3:57] Speaker 1: fall off that he wasn't gonna win that because he
[4:00] Speaker 1: doesn't eat the bananas. We figured out how the finale
[4:03] Speaker 1: worked basically because they you have the winner of that competition,
[4:07] Speaker 1: and then you have another competition, and then the two
[4:09] Speaker 1: winners compete against each other, and it was Ashley against Morgan.
[4:13] Speaker 2: Yeah. A three part hoh. You have to win one
[4:17] Speaker 2: of the part. The first two parts to qualify for
[4:22] Speaker 2: the third round, which means, since Vince did not win
[4:25] Speaker 2: the first round or the second round, he does not
[4:26] Speaker 2: get to participate in the final HOH round, which decides
[4:30] Speaker 2: the actual Hoh winner. I thought that was a very
[4:33] Speaker 2: interesting way of doing it. Yeah, I thought it was
[4:35] Speaker 2: pretty cool.
[4:36] Speaker 1: I thought it was even cooler when in the second
[4:38] Speaker 1: competition out comes my idol, Frankie Grande. Yes.
[4:44] Speaker 2: I really enjoyed all season long the way the Big
[4:50] Speaker 2: Brother brings back previous players and fan favorites and legends
[4:55] Speaker 2: to like participate in the show. You know, we don't
[4:57] Speaker 2: get that on Survivor. If you want to see one
[5:00] Speaker 2: of your favorite players on Survivor, they have to come
[5:02] Speaker 2: back and play the full game again. Yeah.
[5:04] Speaker 1: I mean, do you know how cool it would be
[5:06] Speaker 1: if Poverty came out and hosted the auction or something.
[5:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, or Sandra or Coach you know just what Big
[5:12] Speaker 2: Boston rob just someone just to come out instead of
[5:15] Speaker 2: their loved ones. I don't know them, they're not famous. Oh,
[5:18] Speaker 2: I've got it, Sandra. There could be a twist where
[5:21] Speaker 2: like it's a secret advantage that a tribe wins and
[5:24] Speaker 2: they can unleash Sandra to go spill all the fish.
[5:30] Speaker 2: That would actually be a total fun. Yeah, Jeff should
[5:33] Speaker 2: listen to me.
[5:33] Speaker 1: But let's talk about the crash out because at the
[5:36] Speaker 1: end of this competition with Vince and Ashley, they have
[5:39] Speaker 1: to put the order in which the players got voted out.
[5:44] Speaker 1: They have a bunch of number of blocks. They had
[5:46] Speaker 1: another thing that made them look ridiculous was or at
[5:48] Speaker 1: least Vince looked ridiculous doing it. Ashley looked pretty normal
[5:52] Speaker 1: doing it, but Vince was just flailing around.
[5:54] Speaker 2: Like a moron, and he was screaming. Yeah, he was screaming.
[5:58] Speaker 2: He was like, it's the right action.
[6:00] Speaker 1: But yeah, so we do get to that part where
[6:06] Speaker 1: they both realize or Vince never realized.
[6:09] Speaker 2: Excuse me.
[6:10] Speaker 1: Ashley realizes that she has to put it in the
[6:13] Speaker 1: order of eliminations. Vince thinks he has to put the
[6:17] Speaker 1: days that they were eliminated, and he just keeps locking
[6:21] Speaker 1: in the same thing over and over until he starts
[6:24] Speaker 1: having a screaming, crying breakdown. And what were you thinking,
[6:29] Speaker 1: because I mean, I'm assuming you saw this on Twitter
[6:31] Speaker 1: before you actually watched it.
[6:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I saw it. I just I mean, I
[6:35] Speaker 2: just it. You know, chicken found in barn Yeah. You know,
[6:41] Speaker 2: like when I saw this, I texted you it was
[6:45] Speaker 2: late and I said, hey, man, do you think and
[6:48] Speaker 2: this is a very sensitive topic, so trigger warning or
[6:51] Speaker 2: for sensitive topics? I was like, do you think that
[6:55] Speaker 2: because of reality TV, that there's ever going to be
[6:57] Speaker 2: a situation where contestant harms themselves? But because of the
[7:00] Speaker 2: reaction they receive online? And it kind of joking just
[7:04] Speaker 2: because Vince was just obviously not mentally well in this moment,
[7:07] Speaker 2: but also I really am serious about that. The amount
[7:11] Speaker 2: of harassing I guess is the right word that these
[7:16] Speaker 2: people get online like Riley, which I mean, you know
[7:20] Speaker 2: we we.
[7:22] Speaker 1: Participated in Yeah, but we just make we make jokes.
[7:25] Speaker 1: We don't actually send threats to people.
[7:28] Speaker 2: Right, But like that feeling if Vince is already like
[7:32] Speaker 2: not mentally there when he's screaming and crying and crashing
[7:35] Speaker 2: out over this challenge, and then he sees what everyone's
[7:39] Speaker 2: been saying on about him online this whole summer, like
[7:42] Speaker 2: that's going to have a devastating impact on his mental health.
[7:44] Speaker 2: And I'm just so curious about how they because they
[7:47] Speaker 2: do a like very detailed psych evaluation before they're allowed
[7:51] Speaker 2: to play big Brother Survivor or anything. I don't know
[7:54] Speaker 2: how Vince managed to slip through because he's very clearly
[7:57] Speaker 2: not mentally Okay.
[7:58] Speaker 1: Well he's applying for ten years and then you don't
[8:01] Speaker 1: know how you're going to respond when you're under that
[8:04] Speaker 1: kind of pressure. And my response to what would somebody
[8:08] Speaker 1: harm themselves is like if that happened, it would be
[8:11] Speaker 1: a failure of the show. It'd be a failure of
[8:13] Speaker 1: production for not giving them the resources that they need
[8:17] Speaker 1: to get through the harassment, because the harassment is going
[8:20] Speaker 1: to come, and I mean like they they deal with
[8:24] Speaker 1: it on such a small scale compared to professional athletes,
[8:27] Speaker 1: Like did you drop a ball in a game and
[8:30] Speaker 1: go to your dms and it's a million times worse
[8:32] Speaker 1: than whatever Reality TV can test it.
[8:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, even like high school. I mean we joked around
[8:37] Speaker 2: a lot when Q was on Survivor about how you
[8:39] Speaker 2: know the front page of his town's newspaper was Burdette fumbles. Yeah,
[8:45] Speaker 2: it's like you're sixteen years old and everyone in your
[8:47] Speaker 2: town hates you because you dropped a ball or.
[8:50] Speaker 1: God forbid you, you're the last leg on somebody's touchdown
[8:54] Speaker 1: parlay and you didn't get a touchdown.
[8:55] Speaker 2: Because now money's involved. So now someone's like, I lost
[8:58] Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars because of you.
[9:00] Speaker 3: You.
[9:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fascinating how much as a as a as
[9:04] Speaker 2: a people, we are just so terrible to people.
[9:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, and then it's also like, you know, people are
[9:12] Speaker 1: being terrible to Vince because Vince was terrible to Kelsey,
[9:16] Speaker 1: and it's a it's a cycle. But the other thing
[9:20] Speaker 1: that I was, like, the other football comparison I was
[9:22] Speaker 1: thinking of, is like, when you get to such a
[9:25] Speaker 1: big stage and you lose, you gotta have your head
[9:29] Speaker 1: held high. You got to congratulate the other person. That's
[9:32] Speaker 1: just what you do in a competition. You don't go
[9:34] Speaker 1: a fuck, I'm.
[9:35] Speaker 2: A fucking loser. Fuck, I mean, I'm the worst. It was.
[9:41] Speaker 2: It was like watching a toddler lose a game of OO.
[9:46] Speaker 2: You know, it was really congratulate Ashley. It's her moment. Yeah,
[9:50] Speaker 2: it was. It was a hard watch. It was so entertaining,
[9:54] Speaker 2: of course because it's reality TV. But when you when
[9:57] Speaker 2: you really like, now that the season's over and I'm
[9:59] Speaker 2: looking a big thing that's hit me today is I've
[10:02] Speaker 2: been seeing all of like the Big Brother House guests.
[10:05] Speaker 2: They've been on TikTok Live together. They've been hanging out,
[10:07] Speaker 2: they've been partying, they've been posting online. Ashley made a
[10:10] Speaker 2: Instagram post today calling Vince a cry baby and saying
[10:13] Speaker 2: really yeah, saying that she deserved the win over him
[10:16] Speaker 2: because he was a loser and yeah, and I'm and
[10:20] Speaker 2: it's because of something. You know. It was a screen
[10:23] Speaker 2: recording of something that Vince said about her on one
[10:26] Speaker 2: of the episodes, and so she's like, oh, yeah, well,
[10:28] Speaker 2: who's the loser now? And it's just the big thing
[10:31] Speaker 2: that I've been thinking about today is like, oh, these
[10:34] Speaker 2: people are just regular people now after a summer where
[10:37] Speaker 2: they're the biggest thing in the world, and you know,
[10:41] Speaker 2: in their heads and their minds and in their you know,
[10:44] Speaker 2: audience of the Big Brother audience, millions of people. And
[10:47] Speaker 2: then I think this is what leads to like, three
[10:49] Speaker 2: years from now, we'll see Amy, who was eliminated in
[10:52] Speaker 2: the second week, you know, being live on TikTok every
[10:56] Speaker 2: every night talking about Big Brother, and people are like, hey,
[10:59] Speaker 2: I don't even know who you are. You know, it's
[11:01] Speaker 2: just such a fascinating ecosystem of reality stars being the
[11:07] Speaker 2: most talked about the thing on the Internet, and then
[11:09] Speaker 2: no one cares about them anymore the second that the
[11:11] Speaker 2: show is over. Yeah, that's why you gotta pivot.
[11:15] Speaker 1: You gotta have other stuff going on, like killer music,
[11:19] Speaker 1: like Mary, Yeah, Mary. I feel like Mary's never gonna
[11:23] Speaker 1: be somebody who's on TikTok Live every day being like,
[11:26] Speaker 1: so you see the new episode because she's actually cool.
[11:29] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, and not saying that you can't participate in
[11:33] Speaker 2: the because like Rachel, I think, is not like that.
[11:37] Speaker 2: Rachel was this Big Brother legend who was stayed a
[11:40] Speaker 2: part of the Big Brother culture for years and years,
[11:44] Speaker 2: and it doesn't come across as you know, desperate or needy.
[11:48] Speaker 2: She just enjoys it. And so I'm just really fascinated
[11:53] Speaker 2: by just like and this goes for Survivor players to
[11:56] Speaker 2: you know, wipe out in any reality show. I'm just
[12:00] Speaker 2: very fascinated about the effect that has on people.
[12:03] Speaker 1: I don't think wipe out that they don't get their
[12:05] Speaker 1: moment in the sun quite like Big Brother and Survivor
[12:09] Speaker 1: players do. But you don't know all of the wipeout winners, dog,
[12:12] Speaker 1: I don't, dude, only American Ninja Warrior. Well, that reminds
[12:19] Speaker 1: me Amy there's something that Amy, Crying Amy, if you
[12:26] Speaker 1: can find it, somebody bought us a cameo from.
[12:31] Speaker 2: Ah, yes, yes, I can find it. I totally forgot about.
[12:35] Speaker 1: This, and let me give a disclaimer. We did not
[12:38] Speaker 1: ask for this. No, and we wouldn't have asked for this.
[12:44] Speaker 2: I think it. Thank you to the person who did it.
[12:48] Speaker 2: This was sent by our our good buddy Marco, who
[12:51] Speaker 2: listens to the show We Love.
[12:52] Speaker 1: Marco shut out to Marco Crian Marco.
[12:56] Speaker 2: With his own money a cameo from Crying Amy and
[13:01] Speaker 2: had her give us a message. So I'm gonna play
[13:03] Speaker 2: that now.
[13:05] Speaker 3: Hi, Katie and Chase. Oh wow, I congratulations on your podcast.
[13:10] Speaker 3: Marco wants to say congrats, and so do I. And
[13:14] Speaker 3: you pitched the very best year to start doing Big Brother.
[13:18] Speaker 3: Also because it was my season, so you would not
[13:22] Speaker 3: have known Crying Amy unless you did it this year.
[13:24] Speaker 3: So perfect. I'm so glad you started a Big Brother
[13:28] Speaker 3: podcast this year, added them to your podcast this year
[13:31] Speaker 3: because you got to meet me. And good news, I
[13:35] Speaker 3: don't cry anymore. I've officially used all of my tears
[13:40] Speaker 3: while I was on the show. So anyway, congrats.
[13:44] Speaker 2: On your show. I hope it's amazing.
[13:45] Speaker 3: And great, and hopefully you get a real interview with
[13:50] Speaker 3: Riley Jeffries because that was not Riley. I just tried
[13:52] Speaker 3: to check you guys out and that was not Riley.
[13:55] Speaker 2: But who was that?
[13:58] Speaker 3: I'm really curious. But anyway, congratulations, I know we're crying
[14:04] Speaker 3: to me.
[14:06] Speaker 2: Well, Amy, it was handled.
[14:07] Speaker 1: It really will Yeah it was, Yeah, it was. Jimmy
[14:11] Speaker 1: does such a good Vince impersonation that he's actually he's
[14:14] Speaker 1: fully won me over with the Vince thing.
[14:16] Speaker 2: But really so that won you over?
[14:19] Speaker 1: Hit him in the mustache, in the flannel. Yeah, and yeah,
[14:22] Speaker 1: he does an incredible Jimmy voice. I mean he does
[14:24] Speaker 1: an incredible Vin's voice.
[14:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, No, he does a dude, he does a great impression.
[14:29] Speaker 2: But I think that that was like a I think
[14:30] Speaker 2: he's a prime example of what I was saying of
[14:32] Speaker 2: like he got evicted, but he obviously and we knew
[14:37] Speaker 2: this about Jimmy when he was in the show. Is
[14:39] Speaker 2: his goal going in was to become a reality show legend.
[14:44] Speaker 2: He wanted to catch phrases, he wanted to be remembered,
[14:47] Speaker 2: he wanted to be brought back for things. He wants
[14:49] Speaker 2: to be a Big Brother All Star Big Brother legend.
[14:52] Speaker 2: And so you know when he gets eliminated and he
[14:53] Speaker 2: just immediately starts becoming like a Big Brother influencer. I mean,
[14:58] Speaker 2: you know, we're doing a podcast about Big Brother.
[15:00] Speaker 1: Too, Yeah, which Amy congratulated us on and I congratulations
[15:05] Speaker 1: for what anybody can start a podcast.
[15:07] Speaker 2: But thank you, Amy. I appreciate it.
[15:10] Speaker 1: But one thing about the cameo is that, like, I
[15:13] Speaker 1: feel like she doesn't like I liked Amy.
[15:15] Speaker 2: I drafted Amy.
[15:16] Speaker 1: I wanted her to succeed, And I don't know if
[15:20] Speaker 1: she gets the full picture when all she knows about
[15:23] Speaker 1: us is I called her crying Amy. So I hope
[15:28] Speaker 1: that she knows that I that I was.
[15:30] Speaker 2: A fan of her. I don't think she cares.
[15:34] Speaker 1: I hope that she knows that I supported her from
[15:37] Speaker 1: day one.
[15:39] Speaker 2: She uh. The cameo read to me like she was
[15:42] Speaker 2: just like getting a paycheck. Yeah she's getting paid, but
[15:45] Speaker 2: also you know she's taking it great. She's like, yeah,
[15:48] Speaker 2: I cried all the show, but you know what, I'm
[15:49] Speaker 2: being a good sport about it. Thank you guys. She
[15:52] Speaker 2: listened to the fake Riley stuff. Yeah, I don't think
[15:57] Speaker 2: she understood that it was a joke. I think she
[15:59] Speaker 2: thinks she was it felt to me like she was
[16:01] Speaker 2: kind of treating us like make a wish kids, like
[16:03] Speaker 2: oh your little podcast.
[16:05] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, thank you Amy, thank you Barco, because I mean,
[16:09] Speaker 1: it was a funny thing to play on the show.
[16:11] Speaker 2: It was awesome. Thank you both of you.
[16:13] Speaker 1: In the future, if you're gonna buy us a cameo,
[16:17] Speaker 1: I want it to be from Jimmy. I want one
[16:20] Speaker 1: of the listeners out there. It's just because Chase hates him.
[16:23] Speaker 2: I don't like Jimmy, dude, I like him a little bit.
[16:28] Speaker 1: What I was gonna say earlier is that, like, I
[16:30] Speaker 1: think they should bask in it while the season's going on.
[16:34] Speaker 1: They should be posting about it. They should be soaking
[16:36] Speaker 1: up the limelight. So I don't fault Jimmy for what
[16:39] Speaker 1: he's doing right now.
[16:40] Speaker 2: But did you see like, because the big my big
[16:42] Speaker 2: issue with Jimmy was the fact that he stole all
[16:44] Speaker 2: of his one liners this season and then even his
[16:47] Speaker 2: moment in the finale, did you see where that was
[16:49] Speaker 2: taken from a different Big Brother finale.
[16:51] Speaker 1: I saw a clip where it was somebody else saying
[16:55] Speaker 1: something similar. It was like word for word. It wasn't
[16:59] Speaker 1: bar for bar, but it was pretty close.
[17:01] Speaker 2: I mean he's already a repeat offender, you know what
[17:03] Speaker 2: I mean.
[17:04] Speaker 1: I mean they found another example of a gay guy
[17:07] Speaker 1: hyping somebody up. I think it's just, you know, a coincidence.
[17:11] Speaker 2: Like I think you're profiling baby man. I just I
[17:19] Speaker 2: think because you know, I gave that whole kind of
[17:20] Speaker 2: heartfelt speech about how I worry about the reality show contestants,
[17:24] Speaker 2: but Jimmy doesn't count. I don't like h.
[17:28] Speaker 1: Well, Jimmy very confidently said that the Vince and Kelsey
[17:31] Speaker 1: were broken up on a live.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's been he's been a little messy. I've been
[17:36] Speaker 2: having a great time watching all of the house guests
[17:39] Speaker 2: together on TikTok lives and stuff like. Ashley said that
[17:43] Speaker 2: her father contacted production about Riley because Riley said that
[17:47] Speaker 2: he was gonna trip her. And on this live, one
[17:51] Speaker 2: of the comments was talking about how Riley's a father,
[17:53] Speaker 2: and she screams Riley's a father and all, like all
[17:57] Speaker 2: the other hous were like, talk about that. But she
[18:00] Speaker 2: just wants set out of fighty thousand dollars. She doesn't care.
[18:03] Speaker 2: Ashley can do what she wants.
[18:05] Speaker 1: So where were we before we talked about crying Amy,
[18:08] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we're talking about Vince's screaming, crying, meltdown, cry
[18:11] Speaker 1: and Vince and Invince. Yeah, so he crashes out and
[18:16] Speaker 1: then he understands that he thinks that his game is
[18:21] Speaker 1: done and that he's about to get cut and there's
[18:24] Speaker 1: no way that that Morgan would take him. Well, Morgan
[18:27] Speaker 1: doesn't get to take him because Ashley dominates the next competition.
[18:31] Speaker 1: She becomes the final Hoh, and she makes the smart
[18:35] Speaker 1: decision of sending Morgan packing because I think with all
[18:39] Speaker 1: the competition wins and being hoh through vents a bunch
[18:44] Speaker 1: of times, I think Morgan would have it would have
[18:47] Speaker 1: been at least a split vote. It wouldn't It definitely
[18:50] Speaker 1: wouldn't have been almost unanimous the way it was with
[18:54] Speaker 1: Ashley and Vince. Yes, but let's talk about the final tribal,
[18:59] Speaker 1: if you will.
[19:00] Speaker 2: I don't.
[19:00] Speaker 1: I don't know what they call it. What did they
[19:02] Speaker 1: call it?
[19:04] Speaker 2: The finale? The Big Brother finale? I think do they
[19:06] Speaker 2: not have like a word for the or of the
[19:09] Speaker 2: meeting or so the final h I think maybe is
[19:13] Speaker 2: what they I don't know.
[19:15] Speaker 1: I needed to hand her out what the official BB
[19:17] Speaker 1: term is for that, but they had one Ashley, you
[19:22] Speaker 1: could tell she had been practicing. She knew exactly what
[19:26] Speaker 1: she wanted to say, and she would not stop saying
[19:30] Speaker 1: it until Julie made her And here's what I want
[19:33] Speaker 1: to point out, and one of the reasons why I
[19:35] Speaker 1: was like, holy shit, she is acing this, she is
[19:38] Speaker 1: making this weasel shaking his boots.
[19:40] Speaker 2: Is because Julie would try to cut her off.
[19:43] Speaker 1: She would keep going until she went she found like
[19:45] Speaker 1: a stopping point.
[19:47] Speaker 2: She wouldn't just stop.
[19:49] Speaker 1: Julie would say thank you, Vince, and Vince, even if
[19:51] Speaker 1: he was in the middle of a sentence, he would
[19:53] Speaker 1: just go like yep, shut down, yep. Ashley kept going
[19:58] Speaker 1: until her point was finished.
[20:00] Speaker 2: Yeah. I think, I mean she very I think she
[20:04] Speaker 2: deserves to win. I think there's a lot of people
[20:07] Speaker 2: online that are like, she doesn't deserve the win and
[20:08] Speaker 2: she you know, I disagree. I think she deserves to
[20:10] Speaker 2: win because she played the game. She played it low key,
[20:14] Speaker 2: played dumb, and then in the last episode turned it up,
[20:17] Speaker 2: won the final h of H and showed that she
[20:20] Speaker 2: was a really good speaker. So it's like, that's all
[20:23] Speaker 2: you have to do.
[20:24] Speaker 1: She did such a good job of articulating all of
[20:28] Speaker 1: the different alliances she made, and the fact that, you know,
[20:32] Speaker 1: coming from Showergate where she was the first person on
[20:34] Speaker 1: the block, being the first person or like being on
[20:38] Speaker 1: the first three, it's a tough thing to escape.
[20:41] Speaker 2: We saw that with Kelly and Keanu.
[20:43] Speaker 1: Where it's just like they were the first targets, so
[20:45] Speaker 1: they're the easy targets for the rest of the season.
[20:48] Speaker 1: You just keep going up and up, like that that
[20:51] Speaker 1: K pop song, you know, I had Demon Hunters on Netflix.
[20:57] Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about. It's our mom.
[21:02] Speaker 1: I don't know the words, but I keep seeing that
[21:04] Speaker 1: on my TikTok.
[21:08] Speaker 2: All right, dude, so let me ask no K pop
[21:13] Speaker 2: and Jimmy I don't like you. Uh, let me ask
[21:16] Speaker 2: you this question. Final two is Ashley and Vince. Do
[21:21] Speaker 2: you think that there is any world where Vince wins?
[21:26] Speaker 2: I think it doesn't matter what. I actually could have
[21:28] Speaker 2: sat there and said nothing, and I think she still
[21:30] Speaker 2: would have won against Vince.
[21:32] Speaker 1: I think there's a world in which Vince actually has
[21:36] Speaker 1: good arguments.
[21:37] Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know.
[21:38] Speaker 1: They kept pressing him on things like was it was
[21:43] Speaker 1: the crying, genuine was the like, we're all the conversations
[21:47] Speaker 1: you had genuine and he just whiffed all those contradicting himself.
[21:52] Speaker 1: Like the very last thing he said was like, yeah,
[21:55] Speaker 1: it was gameplay. I was his self preservation. I was
[21:58] Speaker 1: like trying it. It might not have all like the
[22:02] Speaker 1: words might have not been true, but it was like
[22:04] Speaker 1: this genuine emotion. Which but when initially when asked, he's like,
[22:09] Speaker 1: it was all real, and anytime I cried it was real.
[22:12] Speaker 1: So it's like, what is your actual answer? And either
[22:16] Speaker 1: way it doesn't make him look good.
[22:17] Speaker 2: No he didn't. The best case he could have done
[22:21] Speaker 2: is just say, yeah, everything was strategic. I manipulated and
[22:24] Speaker 2: lied and cheated to do whatever I could to win.
[22:27] Speaker 2: That's I think the only way he would have gotten
[22:29] Speaker 2: some votes, because I think that's what they were hoping
[22:33] Speaker 2: for when they said it was all the crying real
[22:35] Speaker 2: or was that gameplay? But I dude, I think that
[22:38] Speaker 2: the whole jury had their mind made up because even
[22:41] Speaker 2: in the earlier in the finale, when they're just sitting
[22:43] Speaker 2: around in the jury's just talking about what they want
[22:45] Speaker 2: to see from a winner, it was very clear. I
[22:47] Speaker 2: think Kelly, who also had a complete one eighty, after
[22:51] Speaker 2: she got eliminated, she became like so smart and funny.
[22:57] Speaker 2: She goes, there's such a thing as unnecessary lying, an
[23:02] Speaker 2: unnecessary manipulation, and I think Vince did not do it strategically,
[23:09] Speaker 2: and I think she was absolutely I think they all
[23:13] Speaker 2: were very upset with Vince. There was no world where
[23:16] Speaker 2: he was winning Yeah.
[23:18] Speaker 1: And if Morgan was up there, I think that Morgan
[23:21] Speaker 1: would have won Yeah, or at least it would have
[23:24] Speaker 1: been split, because I think Ashley still would have had
[23:27] Speaker 1: an amazing performance, because I don't think gamer girls streamer.
[23:31] Speaker 2: Oh as articulate. Oh okay, you mean Morgan and Ashley,
[23:35] Speaker 2: not Morgan and Vince.
[23:37] Speaker 1: Because I think as I'm pretty sure Morgan would have
[23:41] Speaker 1: brought Ashley at the end of.
[23:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, I think there were gonna be some people that
[23:46] Speaker 2: would have voted from Morgan if she was up against Ashley,
[23:49] Speaker 2: because they were people that thought that she did such
[23:52] Speaker 2: a great job at manipulating other people's as h o
[23:55] Speaker 2: h as they brought up several times how they were
[23:59] Speaker 2: essentially like vinced and play the game. Morgan puppet teered him,
[24:03] Speaker 2: So I think she would have got some but I
[24:04] Speaker 2: think it still would have been Ashley. But if it
[24:05] Speaker 2: was Vince, I mean not Vince. Yeah, Vince and Morgan.
[24:09] Speaker 2: I think Morgan would have destroyed Vince too.
[24:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I knew it was over for Vince
[24:14] Speaker 1: when Kelly was straight up laughing at him when he
[24:16] Speaker 1: implied that him and Kelly were aligned.
[24:19] Speaker 2: Dude, I felt bad for him a little bit. When
[24:23] Speaker 2: they were all I don't remember if they were all
[24:26] Speaker 2: voting or they were all asking the questions, but at
[24:30] Speaker 2: that someone goes, I can't remember who said it, but
[24:33] Speaker 2: they said, uh more. You know, Morgan played Vince's h
[24:39] Speaker 2: o h. Vince didn't even play his own hoh. And
[24:41] Speaker 2: the look on his face was it like it really
[24:44] Speaker 2: hurt his feelings. I think that was the moment he
[24:47] Speaker 2: realized he was not gonna win.
[24:50] Speaker 1: I wish we had a live feed of what's going
[24:52] Speaker 1: on with him right now.
[24:54] Speaker 2: I mean you can, you can check out online. Man,
[24:57] Speaker 2: They're all talking, they're all hanging out, they're all posting
[24:59] Speaker 2: Vin and answering questions and stuff. And I don't know
[25:06] Speaker 2: he he hasn't been in any of the videos I've seen,
[25:09] Speaker 2: but I from what I understand, they're all together. They're
[25:13] Speaker 2: all in like the same airbnb together, hanging out, like
[25:16] Speaker 2: Riley and Catherine are there Riley Uh had a that
[25:21] Speaker 2: was on live and someone said, where is Vince and Morgan?
[25:25] Speaker 2: And he goes, probably together, and then Catherine goes, Riley no,
[25:30] Speaker 2: and Riley goes, I mean no, I mean they're no,
[25:32] Speaker 2: they're not They're not together. Probably not together. That's hilarious.
[25:37] Speaker 2: Let him speak freely. That's what That's what I've been
[25:42] Speaker 2: I don't know if I've done a great job of
[25:43] Speaker 2: articulating it in this episode, but I'm so fascinated with
[25:47] Speaker 2: this ending where like they're all hanging out after the
[25:51] Speaker 2: show and they're all online talking about stuff. I'm so
[25:55] Speaker 2: fascinated by it.
[25:57] Speaker 1: Because you want to know how the all the drama
[26:00] Speaker 1: we learned about while they were in there plays out.
[26:03] Speaker 2: Well just that and also just like how it's affecting
[26:06] Speaker 2: their psyche, you know what I mean, where it's like
[26:09] Speaker 2: they've gone through something that no one, very little people
[26:11] Speaker 2: have gone through, you know what I mean. And it's
[26:15] Speaker 2: like we did the athlete comparison, but even that is
[26:18] Speaker 2: so different.
[26:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, and Survivor is very different too, because with Survivor
[26:24] Speaker 1: you get to see it all play out.
[26:26] Speaker 2: In real time.
[26:27] Speaker 1: You get exact the discourse some big brother, you just
[26:29] Speaker 1: get flooded with the discourse months.
[26:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, if you make it far enough, it's like, wow,
[26:35] Speaker 2: how overwhelming that must be, especially if it's hate.
[26:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what, I'm gonna apply for Big Brother
[26:43] Speaker 1: and like intentionally get knocked out early on, just so
[26:47] Speaker 1: I can, you know, get a few extra followers chilling
[26:50] Speaker 1: the Uh yeah, chill in LA for a little bit.
[26:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, good idea. That's a good idea, and then I
[26:57] Speaker 2: can go for the rest of the season. That's very true.
[27:00] Speaker 2: I don't know you do Big Brother. That's because if
[27:02] Speaker 2: you accidentally do well, you're there for like three months.
[27:05] Speaker 2: That's such a long time.
[27:06] Speaker 1: Yeah, Or if I'm accidentally like what if I get
[27:10] Speaker 1: in a relationship and then I want to cheat on
[27:14] Speaker 1: because apparently that's what the house does to you. It
[27:16] Speaker 1: just makes you want to be a cheating loser. Yeah,
[27:19] Speaker 1: dang dude, Yeah, because that's the hard Yeah.
[27:22] Speaker 2: Would you if you were to join Big Brother and
[27:26] Speaker 2: say you had a relationship before you got cast, would
[27:30] Speaker 2: you just go ahead and in that relationship before you
[27:32] Speaker 2: jump in there?
[27:36] Speaker 1: I mean it depends on, Like, if Rachel's coming back
[27:38] Speaker 1: for another season, probably I try to I would like,
[27:41] Speaker 1: in my relationship, try to end hers.
[27:47] Speaker 2: You want to.
[27:50] Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okink, That's what I would go for him
[27:53] Speaker 1: because I want somebody who's rich.
[27:55] Speaker 2: Yeah. You want someone who's one before of course, yeah.
[27:58] Speaker 1: Because one before it has a ton of money.
[28:00] Speaker 2: Yeah. I could be a step dad, of course, be
[28:04] Speaker 2: the dad that stepped up. I have one last thing
[28:06] Speaker 2: to talk about. When we drafted our big brother drafts earlier,
[28:13] Speaker 2: when we were talking about crying Amy, you said that
[28:15] Speaker 2: you drafted Amy. You supported Amy. She was your last
[28:18] Speaker 2: draft pick. I wanted to bring that up. I still
[28:20] Speaker 2: would you like to know? Would you like to know
[28:22] Speaker 2: who your second to last draft pick was? Ashley? Right? Ashley? Yeah,
[28:27] Speaker 2: the winner of the season went in the second to
[28:30] Speaker 2: last round of the draft. Yeah.
[28:33] Speaker 1: Well there were four people left. I was like, let
[28:34] Speaker 1: me buy low on Showergate and see if she can
[28:39] Speaker 1: turn it around.
[28:41] Speaker 2: The last draft picks were Amy and Jimmy, and then
[28:44] Speaker 2: the second to last were Ashley and Keanu. Wow, isn't
[28:49] Speaker 2: that insane? That is pretty crazy.
[28:51] Speaker 1: Also, the first time in any draft that I've had
[28:55] Speaker 1: the final three. And if it wasn't for the stupid
[28:57] Speaker 1: mastermind twist.
[28:58] Speaker 2: That we did, would have had the four.
[29:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, I would have had the final four, which is
[29:03] Speaker 1: just like, I mean, I've never had a draft so dominant.
[29:07] Speaker 1: It's it's great to I feel like I'm ramping up
[29:09] Speaker 1: for Survivor, even though I mean drafting one on one
[29:14] Speaker 1: with Chase. I mean, this is my second time doing it,
[29:17] Speaker 1: second time I've won. I mean, I need better competition,
[29:22] Speaker 1: I think. So for next year of Big Bro Club,
[29:24] Speaker 1: we're gonna have to like bring in at least one
[29:26] Speaker 1: more person.
[29:32] Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so I'm trying.
[29:35] Speaker 1: I'm trying to be messy too. I'm taking inspiration from
[29:37] Speaker 1: my idol Jimmy. I'm not even wearing a shirt right now.
[29:40] Speaker 1: I'm just wearing a robe and glasses.
[29:43] Speaker 2: I since you won the draft, I have to buy
[29:45] Speaker 2: you a big Brother h o h robe from the
[29:49] Speaker 2: paramount site, so I will do that.
[29:52] Speaker 1: I was hoping you could get like a name on
[29:54] Speaker 1: it because I wanted Ashley on the back.
[29:56] Speaker 2: Oh you can, you can. I will get Ashley's name
[30:00] Speaker 2: on the back. I was looking. I didn't see a
[30:03] Speaker 2: thing for names. So but when I earlier in the season,
[30:07] Speaker 2: they had it. So maybe maybe they don't, but I'll
[30:10] Speaker 2: double check. I'll make it happen. Worst case, I'll embroider
[30:14] Speaker 2: it myself, that would be and if you had to
[30:17] Speaker 2: do labor, yeah, and yep, because I'm true to the draft.
[30:22] Speaker 2: I'm true to my word. But I want to make
[30:24] Speaker 2: one thing very clear. You have officially we just went
[30:28] Speaker 2: through week one a Survivor and everybody, we're all friends.
[30:32] Speaker 2: We haven't drafted yet, but you just you made the
[30:35] Speaker 2: first shot, buddy. So not only am I going to
[30:38] Speaker 2: win the Survivor forty nine, I'm gonna win Survivor fifty.
[30:42] Speaker 2: Then for Big Brother next year, I'm going to have
[30:46] Speaker 2: the Final six and you're going to rue the day
[30:51] Speaker 2: that you ever opened your mouth like that. Brother.
[30:55] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm very excited to see all this plays out,
[30:58] Speaker 1: to see if Chase is now the making the merge
[31:01] Speaker 1: slash Big Brother. I was about to say Big Brother Club.
[31:04] Speaker 1: That's not what we call it, the Big Bro Club.
[31:07] Speaker 1: See if you can have a multi show dynasty for
[31:10] Speaker 1: the next three seasons. I it sounds like it's pretty improbable.
[31:15] Speaker 1: But no, I see the look in your eyes. You
[31:17] Speaker 1: look pretty determined right now. So I'll see how it
[31:20] Speaker 1: plays out.
[31:21] Speaker 2: You've awoken the sleeping giant brother six foot four, two
[31:25] Speaker 2: hundred pounds. I won Survivor Draft for season forty seven.
[31:30] Speaker 2: Don't forget that mm hm.
[31:33] Speaker 1: Because I I took Sue. I made a fatal mistake.
[31:36] Speaker 1: I need to got to tighten things up. And that's
[31:41] Speaker 1: why this I'm gonna go ahead and lay out my
[31:44] Speaker 1: Survivor's strategy. I'm taking only strong men. Is that what
[31:49] Speaker 1: you're doing for this? For this No, I'm probably not
[31:51] Speaker 1: actually gonna do that. I'm just gonna I'm gonna wing it.
[31:53] Speaker 1: I'm gonna see how episode two goes, see who I like,
[31:56] Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna do, uh what Teg talked about too,
[32:00] Speaker 1: which is just go in there. That's what I did
[32:03] Speaker 1: for my fantasy football draft. I'm undefeated three weeks or
[32:06] Speaker 1: four weeks now. I was just like, you know what,
[32:09] Speaker 1: I know who my guys are, and I'm gonna try
[32:12] Speaker 1: to get them.
[32:13] Speaker 2: Okay, one last question. Do you think that the system
[32:19] Speaker 2: is rigged for me to always draft draft last? And
[32:23] Speaker 2: do you think that I would have more wins under
[32:24] Speaker 2: my belt if it wasn't for that fact.
[32:27] Speaker 1: I don't know how a random wheel generator could be rigged.
[32:31] Speaker 1: Maybe there's some code in it that we don't know
[32:33] Speaker 1: about where it's like if you input Chase, it's gonna
[32:36] Speaker 1: be the fourth place every time. Who knows, have you
[32:41] Speaker 1: ever thought about the order in which you input the names?
[32:46] Speaker 1: Have you done it the same way every time?
[32:47] Speaker 2: Or is it rent now? It's been different every time.
[32:49] Speaker 2: It's completely random. That's crazy. I've drafted the last every
[32:54] Speaker 2: single time, even when we did like a mock draft,
[32:55] Speaker 2: even when even for the Big Brother Draft and there
[32:57] Speaker 2: was just two of us. Every single time, I'm the
[33:00] Speaker 2: last one in the draft.
[33:02] Speaker 1: I wonder what the actual odds are because this is
[33:05] Speaker 1: how many times, not five, six, seven drafts in.
[33:09] Speaker 2: A row, counting a mock draft, I think it's five,
[33:14] Speaker 2: five in a row.
[33:16] Speaker 1: Man, I don't know. I don't understand how that's possible.
[33:20] Speaker 1: I would like to look up what the actual odds
[33:23] Speaker 1: are of getting the same result out of one and
[33:25] Speaker 1: four five times in a row.
[33:27] Speaker 2: It's gotta be low, yeah, because let's see, one out
[33:31] Speaker 2: of four would be a twenty five percent chance, and
[33:35] Speaker 2: I've gotten it none out of five. Yeah, that's pretty crazy.
[33:42] Speaker 2: All right. I'm very excited for guys. The next podcast
[33:45] Speaker 2: that will pop up on this podcast feed will be
[33:49] Speaker 2: our week two coverage of Survivor, and then our Survivor Draft,
[33:54] Speaker 2: this is the last, this is it for Big Brother. Yep,
[33:57] Speaker 2: what a season it was. It was a great time.
[34:00] Speaker 1: I really enjoyed going from like the beginning, total confusion,
[34:04] Speaker 1: like what are all these words? What are what are
[34:06] Speaker 1: all these challenges? And and then you know, I fell
[34:10] Speaker 1: in love with the show and Julie Chin, Moonvez and
[34:14] Speaker 1: Rachel Riley emphasis on the jewelry and emphasis on the
[34:22] Speaker 1: Chin and emphasis on the Moon but not the Vez.
[34:27] Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Yeah, So.
[34:30] Speaker 1: I'm grateful that we got to experience this is our
[34:34] Speaker 1: first season because it was total chaos. Even though a
[34:38] Speaker 1: lot of the people who have been Big Brother fans
[34:40] Speaker 1: are like, this is like the worst time to start watching.
[34:43] Speaker 3: I was.
[34:43] Speaker 1: I didn't know what they were talking about. I was
[34:45] Speaker 1: having a lot of fun with all the chaos me too.
[34:48] Speaker 2: I got to see mister Spectacular, the Big Brother Legend,
[34:52] Speaker 2: the TNA champion Jesse show up as one of the Masterminds.
[34:57] Speaker 2: We got to see Frankie Brandy. We didn't even talk
[34:59] Speaker 2: about the Mastermind twist. Yeah, I don't know.
[35:03] Speaker 1: I feel like they just made all that shut up
[35:05] Speaker 1: in the last week, and I think too, I have
[35:08] Speaker 1: no idea how long like in advance they had that
[35:12] Speaker 1: planned out. It felt like they just slapped together and
[35:15] Speaker 1: then it had no impact on the season or future seasons.
[35:19] Speaker 2: I didn't know we were supposed to be trying to
[35:20] Speaker 2: figure out who the Mastermind was. I thought it was
[35:23] Speaker 2: just a new character.
[35:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought he was just the Mastermind or maybe
[35:26] Speaker 1: Boston Rob who knows that was a theory going around
[35:31] Speaker 1: for a little bit.
[35:31] Speaker 2: Got to see doctor Will, We got to see Jesse
[35:35] Speaker 2: we know as a pro wrestler, we don't we don't
[35:38] Speaker 2: know him as a Big Brother player. But and then
[35:40] Speaker 2: we got to see Franky Ronde.
[35:42] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a great time. Thank you bb Nation
[35:46] Speaker 1: And you know what you said. The next episode is
[35:49] Speaker 1: the the week two coverage. I might fuck around and
[35:52] Speaker 1: drop the draft on.
[35:53] Speaker 2: The same day, really that's crazy.
[35:57] Speaker 1: Or or maybe I'll wait until the next day, but
[35:59] Speaker 1: it'll like Thursday, Yeah, Thursday, we will will have Week
[36:03] Speaker 1: two Friday the draft.
[36:05] Speaker 2: I'm pulling out the mullet for the last few seconds
[36:08] Speaker 2: of this.
[36:10] Speaker 1: How long you're going to keep a mullet? Is that
[36:12] Speaker 1: for the show? Is that like you're supposed to have
[36:14] Speaker 1: a mullet?
[36:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, so once you're gonna have a mullet for for
[36:18] Speaker 2: several weeks.
[36:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so a lot of hats, a lot of
[36:20] Speaker 1: hats for me so that people can't tell you have
[36:22] Speaker 1: a mullet.
[36:23] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, are you ashamed? Not ashamed. I just don't
[36:27] Speaker 2: want people to think that I made this choice.
[36:29] Speaker 1: Willingly, you should wear a kid rock shirt and then
[36:32] Speaker 1: people will think that you made the choice because I
[36:34] Speaker 1: already drive a truck too.
[36:36] Speaker 2: Yeah, you're mullet coated. I'll be at a concert tonight,
[36:39] Speaker 2: and I don't want people to think that this is
[36:42] Speaker 2: who I am. You know, what's the concert? Joe Joe Keery.
[36:48] Speaker 2: It sounds familiar.
[36:50] Speaker 1: You're gonna say Joe Coy and I was gonna be like,
[36:52] Speaker 1: that's not a concert.
[36:53] Speaker 2: That's the guy that plays Steve and Stranger Things. Oh really,
[36:57] Speaker 2: where is that Ashville? Nice? Is that the orange Piel?
[37:02] Speaker 2: I have no idea.
[37:05] Speaker 1: Well, have fun with that. I didn't realize that he
[37:08] Speaker 1: was a touring musician.
[37:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's really good. I like him. That's sick all right.
