[2:25] Speaker 2: gives us understanding.
[2:26] Speaker 1: We pray oh God. That in addition to all we've learned.
[2:29] Speaker 2: In the course of this. Speak to us yet again.
[2:33] Speaker 2: Let your word appear unto us again. name of Jesus,
[2:37] Speaker 2: we pray. Amen and amen. Please be seated. Oh, my father,
[2:50] Speaker 2: forgiving us, your son, and leaving your spirit to your heart.
[3:06] Speaker 3: Someday I believe there will be a.
[3:18] Speaker 2: Generation that will rise and will a fire conference like
[3:34] Speaker 2: this that I caught my own fire, I was able
[3:37] Speaker 2: to hear people being called and recognized from different denominations.
[3:43] Speaker 2: This is what God is doing. Slowly but surely, God
[3:46] Speaker 2: is bringing his church together. So I'll be speaking in
[3:51] Speaker 2: light of the theme for the conference. I was very
[3:55] Speaker 2: inspired when I saw the theme because it's an aspect of...
[4:01] Speaker 2: the church that has burdened me for many years and
[4:05] Speaker 2: so I've done a little study as to the church
[4:09] Speaker 2: you know what it would take for the church to
[4:11] Speaker 2: become the portrait as God for it to be I
[4:18] Speaker 2: have four assignments for my sessions today and tomorrow and
[4:22] Speaker 2: let me read for you the assignment that God gave
[4:26] Speaker 2: me there are four things that we're going to be
[4:28] Speaker 2: discussing number one I'll be redefining for us the concept
[4:33] Speaker 2: of church.
[4:35] Speaker 1: I know that we probably have encountered this.
[4:37] Speaker 2: Through prayers, but hopefully I'll add a word or two.
[4:42] Speaker 2: It's important for us to understand God's idea of church.
[4:46] Speaker 2: When we talk about the church, things that come to mind.
[4:50] Speaker 2: So we'll look from the lens of scripture and help
[4:52] Speaker 2: to redefine these concepts. Number two, we'll be looking at
[4:56] Speaker 2: the assignment of the church. What exactly is the assignment
[5:01] Speaker 2: of the church? Because when we do not understand the
[5:05] Speaker 2: assignment of the church. It becomes a burdensome ritual being
[5:09] Speaker 2: a Christian. And doing the whole business of church. Number three.
[5:14] Speaker 2: Would be looking at an x-ray through the lens of scripture.
[5:18] Speaker 2: An x-ray on the current state of the church. Will
[5:21] Speaker 2: hopefully be identifying a few things. The way it is.
[5:27] Speaker 2: And then number four. to becoming an impactful and an
[5:33] Speaker 2: apostolic church. So four assignments, and this is the scope
[5:37] Speaker 2: of my mandate for this conference. Again, number one, we'll
[5:40] Speaker 2: be redefining the concept of church. It's important for us
[5:45] Speaker 2: to understand God's idea of church. Number two, we'll be
[5:49] Speaker 2: looking at the assignment of the church. The reason there
[5:54] Speaker 2: was an intent behind the heart of the father for
[5:58] Speaker 2: building the church. Number three, We'll be doing an x-ray
[6:02] Speaker 2: on the current state of the church. We help identify
[6:06] Speaker 2: some of the gaps that need to be closed by
[6:09] Speaker 2: the grace of God. And then finally, we'll be looking
[6:12] Speaker 2: at things that will make for an impactful and an
[6:15] Speaker 2: apostolic church. What does it take to be the kind
[6:19] Speaker 2: of church that will be light and salt indeed to
[6:22] Speaker 2: help us in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. So
[6:26] Speaker 2: very quickly, I'm going to delay. here they come to
[6:38] Speaker 2: mind immediately for one he thinks of a place of
[6:41] Speaker 2: worship a sacred place that has been consecrated.
[6:46] Speaker 1: We should particularly christian.
[6:52] Speaker 2: Things in terms of people not just places and for
[6:55] Speaker 2: others when we talk about church it is the religious
[7:00] Speaker 2: formation go to the most superior other deities. So we
[7:07] Speaker 2: have all kinds of a mix of ideas and because
[7:11] Speaker 2: we come largely from different cultures even though I'm seeing
[7:15] Speaker 2: largely eastern people in this context but generally speaking we
[7:18] Speaker 2: come from different cultures and for most people Christianity was not.
[7:23] Speaker 1: Their first spiritual contact.
[7:26] Speaker 2: For most people either they came from a background of
[7:30] Speaker 2: maybe idol worship or they from other religions, and now
[7:34] Speaker 2: speaking apostolically, there are many who found themselves in the
[7:38] Speaker 2: faith life, the faith meaning the Christian faith, from many
[7:42] Speaker 2: other faith practices. So it's important that we don't take
[7:46] Speaker 2: for granted the fact that when you say church, born
[7:50] Speaker 2: and bred, it's not difficult for you to have a picture,
[7:57] Speaker 2: but for one who was born, say, a Muslim, Or
[8:00] Speaker 2: born some kind of traditional. Worship or practitioner. It's important
[8:05] Speaker 2: that we bring. A proper context. Is the word church
[8:09] Speaker 2: like you know. Comes from the word ecclesia. It's an
[8:15] Speaker 2: ancient Greek word. That attempts to describe. An ascetic people.
[8:20] Speaker 2: It's almost near. The word cult.
[8:24] Speaker 1: It's not really the word. In that the purpose. The
[8:27] Speaker 1: intent for the gathering.
[8:28] Speaker 2: Is not demonic. So the word ecclesia means the called
[8:33] Speaker 2: out ones. It means those who are based on a
[8:36] Speaker 2: certain conviction or loyalty to a certain deity. In this case,
[8:42] Speaker 2: God Almighty have decided to graft themselves out of a
[8:47] Speaker 2: corrupt or a system of decadence. So it is the
[8:52] Speaker 2: initial idea, the very description of church is the root
[8:56] Speaker 2: from where consecration comes. To be called out. Called out
[9:01] Speaker 2: of darkness. The Bible says. Into his marvelous light. So
[9:05] Speaker 2: when you talk about the word Ecclesia. It means those
[9:08] Speaker 2: who have been called out. Someone say called out. Shout
[9:12] Speaker 2: it again. Say called out. Some of you know that
[9:16] Speaker 2: it's in the character of God. To call people out of.
[9:19] Speaker 1: Then to call them into. He does not call people
[9:22] Speaker 1: out of.
[9:22] Speaker 2: And then leaves them out of. Out of Egypt. But
[9:26] Speaker 2: you must go to the promised land. To focus only
[9:30] Speaker 2: on being called out of.
[9:31] Speaker 1: Because you can.
[9:34] Speaker 2: But you are not in Canaan. So called out. But
[9:37] Speaker 2: then they have a destination in mind. Who is falling
[9:40] Speaker 2: so far? Praise the name of the Lord. Two scriptures
[9:42] Speaker 2: very quickly for reference. Matthew chapter 6. The full text
[9:46] Speaker 2: is from verse 13 to 18. But let's just go
[9:49] Speaker 2: straight to 18. For sake of time. Matthew chapter 16. Matthew. From.
[9:58] Speaker 2: Let's just. team. Matthew 16 1 6 Matthew 16 and
[10:04] Speaker 2: verse 18 18.
[10:14] Speaker 1: Right?
[10:15] Speaker 2: So, Jesus began in verse 13. He said, who do
[10:18] Speaker 2: men say that I the son of God? The disciples
[10:22] Speaker 2: began to chorus. It had been a bother for them. So,
[10:25] Speaker 2: they were happy he brought up the east because there
[10:28] Speaker 2: was miracles. Today, he would look like a prophet. Tomorrow,
[10:31] Speaker 2: he would look like another thing. And, you know, they
[10:33] Speaker 2: kept that man and comparing with all the prophecies that
[10:37] Speaker 2: had been written as to what would be the future
[10:41] Speaker 2: of the Messiah. And a lot of them had their
[10:44] Speaker 2: doubts and their fears, but they just followed quietly. He says,
[10:49] Speaker 2: who do men say that I am? And then some
[10:54] Speaker 2: said you are Elijah. Some said you are Jeremiah. Some
[10:56] Speaker 2: said you are one of these prophets around. And he said, well,
[10:59] Speaker 2: you have walked with me. Who do you say you
[11:02] Speaker 2: have walked with me? Heal the sick and you watch
[11:05] Speaker 2: me heal the sick. You watch me perform miracles. What
[11:08] Speaker 2: is your verdict as to my person? The people who
[11:11] Speaker 2: are most about me. Is justifiable because they are afar.
[11:15] Speaker 2: But you have an advantage of proximity. What is your.
[11:19] Speaker 1: That means your. God should. On your definition of him.
[11:25] Speaker 1: To God.
[11:26] Speaker 2: And still speak like people are far off. He said
[11:28] Speaker 2: what then is your advantage. You are close. And they
[11:32] Speaker 2: were all silent. And Peter spoke he said well. I
[11:36] Speaker 2: know who you are. He says thou are Christ. son
[11:40] Speaker 2: of the living God. And he looks at Peter and says,
[11:45] Speaker 2: flesh and blood has not been given to you, but
[11:48] Speaker 2: the spirit of my father.
[11:50] Speaker 1: And he says, thou art Peter, verse 18.
[11:52] Speaker 2: He says, and upon this revelation, upon this revelation, you
[11:58] Speaker 2: have found and gotten correctly the revelation of me as savior.
[12:03] Speaker 2: God and Christ, I will build my church and it
[12:07] Speaker 2: will be so formidable that the gates of hell will
[12:10] Speaker 2: not prevail again. Let's say amen. Hallelujah. And there are
[12:15] Speaker 2: many instances of the mentioned church you'll find all scattered
[12:20] Speaker 2: across scripture, particularly.
[12:36] Speaker 1: Chapter we'll read 14 and.
[12:38] Speaker 2: 15 3 14.
[12:40] Speaker 1: 15 it.
[12:47] Speaker 2: Says these things i shortly verse 15 projected will your
[12:56] Speaker 2: eyes be able to see that to read it okay
[12:58] Speaker 2: as many who can see it i like us to
[13:00] Speaker 2: read it in concept want to but if i it
[13:03] Speaker 2: says know how thou ought to behave yourself in the
[13:09] Speaker 2: house of god so stop there the church is also
[13:14] Speaker 2: defined and described as the house of god the church
[13:19] Speaker 2: of the living god and then the bible calls it
[13:22] Speaker 2: the pillar and the ground of truth the lord is
[13:28] Speaker 2: the real name of any is to make sure that
[13:35] Speaker 2: there is a unification of definitions. It's very difficult to
[13:41] Speaker 2: help people understand concepts, ideas, or understand perspectives if you
[13:47] Speaker 2: leave the legend as to their ideas on that concept.
[13:51] Speaker 1: The first way we learn.
[13:53] Speaker 2: Is to make sure we have uniformity as far as
[13:56] Speaker 2: education is concerned.
[13:58] Speaker 1: Praise the Lord.
[13:59] Speaker 2: I'd like to have people make a unified understanding build
[14:06] Speaker 2: on it so very quickly let me give you three
[14:08] Speaker 2: definitions of church these definitions also serve as the three
[14:13] Speaker 2: different expressions three different ways that you see the church
[14:18] Speaker 2: very quickly number one the church is a spiritual strategy
[14:23] Speaker 2: and this is very profound the church strategy this is
[14:31] Speaker 2: The original idea of the church was not the building.
[14:35] Speaker 1: The church's spiritual strategy is to.
[14:42] Speaker 2: Build the church.
[14:49] Speaker 1: The church.
[14:51] Speaker 2: Is that pride as a strategy that the church wants
[14:59] Speaker 2: to build. And the power of salvation. To the ends
[15:08] Speaker 2: of the earth. God's strategy. For taking the message. And
[15:14] Speaker 2: the power of salvation. To the ends of the earth.
[15:17] Speaker 2: God's strategy. And building men. The church. It is. God's strategy.
[15:36] Speaker 1: God's trying to demonstrate. Across the earth. The fact.
[15:45] Speaker 2: Is spirit. Strategy. Innovation to the ends of. No formula.
[15:56] Speaker 2: The choice. Only. The only strategy. That sustains. Of. to
[16:06] Speaker 2: successfully convey the message of salvation to the ends of
[16:10] Speaker 2: the earth. That means if the church fails, God has
[16:13] Speaker 2: the power to create another strategy. But for now, there
[16:16] Speaker 2: is no mention in scripture. We know he can raise stones,
[16:20] Speaker 2: but he's not raised the stones yet. That's to show
[16:22] Speaker 2: his level of trust and investedness in the church. The
[16:25] Speaker 2: church is God's strategy for taking the message and the
[16:29] Speaker 2: power of salvation.
[16:30] Speaker 1: To the ends of the earth. Finding and building men.
[16:35] Speaker 1: Please look up.
[16:36] Speaker 2: Everyone sees the problem. The quality of men. Whether spiritually.
[16:42] Speaker 2: Whether intellectually.
[16:44] Speaker 1: Whether more.
[16:47] Speaker 2: The cure. Beyond rehabilitation. The church is the only spiritual institution.
[16:54] Speaker 1: That has the spiritual.
[16:56] Speaker 2: Intellectual. And physical power. To deal with what. Manistically. Manistically.
[17:02] Speaker 2: Now the correctional centers can help. They can only lock criminals.
[17:06] Speaker 2: And habilitate their mind. Correctional centers. Don't. Don't. Don't. the
[17:58] Speaker 2: ground of truth that means every time the government is
[18:01] Speaker 2: confused every time.
[18:04] Speaker 1: There is a confusion as.
[18:08] Speaker 2: Together the defined organization organism and institution to clarity is
[18:15] Speaker 2: the church that should be for moral clarity there should
[18:20] Speaker 2: not be confusion as to what is as to word
[19:51] Speaker 2: of god efficient for the church as the collective body
[19:55] Speaker 2: of believers so the bible says he gave on to
[19:57] Speaker 2: you know one apostles and all of that for the
[20:01] Speaker 2: perfect you know the maturing of the saints for the
[20:04] Speaker 2: work of the ministry for the edifying of the body
[20:06] Speaker 2: of christ verse 13 it says till we all come
[20:10] Speaker 2: into the unity of faith and of the knowledge of
[20:13] Speaker 2: the son of god unto a perfect man and the
[20:15] Speaker 2: measure of the stature of the fullness of christ verse
[20:18] Speaker 2: 14 That we thanks for be no more children. Tossed
[20:23] Speaker 2: to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine.
[20:27] Speaker 2: By the slight of men and the cunning craftiness. Whereby
[20:30] Speaker 2: they lie to deceive. Now 15 and 16. It says
[20:34] Speaker 2: but speaking the truth in love. We may grow up
[20:37] Speaker 2: into him in all things. Which is the head even Christ.
[20:42] Speaker 2: Verse 16.
[20:43] Speaker 1: A final read for now.
[20:45] Speaker 2: From whom the whole body. The whole body fitly joined
[20:51] Speaker 2: together and compacted by which every joint supplies according to
[20:56] Speaker 2: the effectual working in the measure of every part and
[21:00] Speaker 2: makes increase that the body becomes a define unto itself
[21:04] Speaker 2: in love. Here he is describing the church both as
[21:08] Speaker 2: an organism and a collection of believers that have been
[21:12] Speaker 2: invested with different graces and they feed themselves unto maturity.
[21:18] Speaker 2: so church talks about the collective body of believers now
[21:23] Speaker 2: one christian cannot be called the church it takes believers
[21:27] Speaker 2: coming to him together to be called the church you
[21:30] Speaker 2: can call an individual a part of the body or
[21:34] Speaker 2: a member of the church but an individual cannot be
[21:38] Speaker 2: called the church hallelujah when the bible talks of christ
[21:42] Speaker 2: being the head of the body or the church it
[21:44] Speaker 2: talks of the collection of believers As we are gathered
[21:48] Speaker 2: like this in the name of the Lord, unified by salvation,
[21:51] Speaker 2: unified by faith in Jesus Christ, we qualify based on
[21:55] Speaker 2: scripture to be called the church. Is somebody learning? Definition
[21:59] Speaker 2: number three very quickly. The church finally is an institution.
[22:05] Speaker 2: So the church is a spiritual strategy. The church represents
[22:09] Speaker 2: a body of Christ, a collection of believers unified in
[22:14] Speaker 2: faith and by one spirit, And then number three, the
[22:17] Speaker 2: church is an institution. We read that already in 1
[22:20] Speaker 2: Timothy 3.15. The Bible calls it the pillar and the
[22:24] Speaker 2: ground of truth. The pillar and the ground of truth.
[22:29] Speaker 2: How about Hebrews 10 verse 24 to 25? Hebrews chapter 10,
[22:31] Speaker 2: popular scripture, 24, 25. Hebrews 10, 24, 25.
[22:33] Speaker 1: Someone help us at the desk with the media.
[22:34] Speaker 2: Hallelujah. Hallelujah. 25 give us 25 not forsaking the assembly
[22:55] Speaker 2: that's another word for church there the assembling of ourselves
[22:59] Speaker 2: together as the manner of some is but exhorting one
[23:04] Speaker 2: another so much more as you see the day approaching
[23:07] Speaker 2: so the church represents that institution that that um that
[23:14] Speaker 2: registered entity that sustains the power to preserve truth to
[23:19] Speaker 2: train men and that spiritual activities can be allowed to
[23:23] Speaker 2: happen within the frame of that institution who understands me
[23:27] Speaker 2: so far hallelujah this is very important in acts chapter
[23:31] Speaker 2: 2 when you read from verse 42 to 47 the
[23:34] Speaker 2: bible says and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine
[23:39] Speaker 2: and in the In fellowship, in breaking of bread and
[23:43] Speaker 2: in prayer. Verse 43. Reading to 47. The Bible says,
[23:47] Speaker 2: and fear came upon every soul.
[23:50] Speaker 1: And many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
[23:53] Speaker 2: 44.
[23:53] Speaker 1: It says, and all that believed were.
[23:57] Speaker 2: Talk to me. They were together. And had all things
[24:01] Speaker 2: in common. Verse 45. And they sold their possessions and
[24:05] Speaker 2: goods and parted. You know, them to all men as
[24:08] Speaker 2: every man had need. 46. 46. The Bible says, and they,
[24:13] Speaker 2: continuing daily in a very predefined location with one another
[24:19] Speaker 2: in the temple.
[24:21] Speaker 1: Everybody say temple. temple and breaking.
[24:24] Speaker 2: Bread from house to house say house to house can
[24:27] Speaker 2: you see descriptions of location we see temple then we
[24:31] Speaker 2: see house to house the bible says they did eat
[24:34] Speaker 2: their meat with gladness and singleness of heart 47 praising
[24:39] Speaker 2: god and having favor with the people and the lord
[24:42] Speaker 2: add daily to the church the church in the temple
[24:45] Speaker 2: the church in the house daily as many as should
[24:49] Speaker 2: be saved the lord will add to his church In
[24:51] Speaker 2: the east of the Niger. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[24:55] Speaker 2: Shout a believing amen. Hallelujah.
[24:58] Speaker 1: So whenever we talk about church. You think three things.
[25:02] Speaker 2: One. A spiritual strategy. God's strategy. His only revealed strategy.
[25:09] Speaker 2: As far as carrying the message of salvation to the
[25:12] Speaker 2: ends of the earth. Refining and rebuilding men. As far
[25:16] Speaker 2: as preserving godliness within men. civilization or within a dispensation
[25:21] Speaker 2: and revealing the love of jesus that is a mandate
[25:25] Speaker 2: that has been invested in the church and the church
[25:27] Speaker 2: is the only entity that sustains the power to drive
[25:31] Speaker 2: that vision to its fruition the church talks about the
[25:34] Speaker 2: collection of god's people unified in christ unified in the
[25:39] Speaker 2: faith and unified in purpose and then church represents the
[25:42] Speaker 2: institution where all this business of transformation salvation happens praise
[25:48] Speaker 2: the name of the lord so if you call this
[25:50] Speaker 2: campground the church you are right based on this definition
[25:54] Speaker 2: if you call those who are gathered here the church
[25:57] Speaker 2: you are right based on this definition and if you
[26:00] Speaker 2: call us together with respect to the intelligence we are
[26:03] Speaker 2: receiving as far as advancing the kingdom the church you
[26:07] Speaker 2: are still right somebody say i represent the church say
[26:10] Speaker 2: i'm the church Amen. Now very quickly, and that's the
[26:15] Speaker 2: core of my discussion tonight.
[26:18] Speaker 1: What exactly is the assignment of the church?
[26:21] Speaker 2: You'll be surprised that as obvious as this is, most
[26:24] Speaker 2: believers cannot articulate what the assignment of the church is.
[26:28] Speaker 2: At best, they will tell you soul winning and stop there.
[26:32] Speaker 2: And while that is not incorrect, that is grossly short
[26:35] Speaker 2: of the full scope of the assignment of the church.
[26:39] Speaker 2: Every Sunday, every other day, we have some persons, especially
[26:43] Speaker 2: in Nigeria, there's almost a service every single day.
[26:47] Speaker 1: There are night vigils, there are programs happening everywhere.
[26:50] Speaker 2: And you find people saying, I'm going to church or
[26:53] Speaker 2: I'm going to the house of God. or I'm going
[26:55] Speaker 2: for a conference, or I'm going for a concert, or
[26:57] Speaker 2: I'm going for a prayer meeting, or I'm going for
[26:59] Speaker 2: a night vigil, and you ask them a very honest question. So,
[27:03] Speaker 2: what is the assignment? Or perhaps, let's leave members and
[27:06] Speaker 2: go to pastors. You would be surprised, with all due respect,
[27:09] Speaker 2: if you call an average man of God, very serious
[27:12] Speaker 2: man of God, and say, what exactly is the assignment
[27:15] Speaker 2: of the church?
[27:16] Speaker 1: Not your church, not your church, the church.
[27:20] Speaker 2: You would find answers ranging from soul winning, which is
[27:23] Speaker 2: very obvious, to maybe discipleship. And others just say, well,
[27:28] Speaker 2: God just told me go and raise a people. Yeah,
[27:30] Speaker 2: that's a unique expression. But what is the assignment of
[27:33] Speaker 2: the church, generically speaking? This conference was designed to give
[27:37] Speaker 2: us intelligence, not just to reveal what is wrong. not
[27:40] Speaker 2: just to reveal the glorious church, but to help feed
[27:44] Speaker 2: our minds so that we can defend the faith intelligently.
[27:47] Speaker 2: Who is following? Praise God. According to scripture, there are
[27:50] Speaker 2: seven assignments of the ecclesia, the church. And if we
[27:54] Speaker 2: fail in any of these assignments, it will affect the
[27:57] Speaker 2: pace of God's program. Hallelujah.
[28:01] Speaker 1: There are seven assignments.
[28:03] Speaker 2: Let me see if we can cover maybe six or
[28:05] Speaker 2: the whole seven, and then we'll pray. Is somebody learning already?
[28:09] Speaker 2: Praise the name of the Lord. It's important for you
[28:12] Speaker 2: to know that as part of God's church, God's ecclesia,
[28:16] Speaker 2: we have a corporate mandate. Now please look up. As individuals,
[28:22] Speaker 2: we have our unique assignments. As individuals, we have our callings,
[28:26] Speaker 2: we have uh you know predefined geography of witness but
[28:31] Speaker 2: as the body of christ there is a corporate theme
[28:35] Speaker 2: there is a corporate mandate are we together that everybody
[28:39] Speaker 2: who bears the name of christ what you call purpose
[28:42] Speaker 2: what you call assignment is a subset of that grand mandate.
[28:47] Speaker 2: And if you do not understand the grand mandate, you
[28:50] Speaker 2: will not even be efficient in executing what you call
[28:53] Speaker 2: your purpose. It's simply your role, your unique role in
[28:57] Speaker 2: helping to drive that grand picture. So God has a
[29:01] Speaker 2: grand picture for all of us as the church. But
[29:04] Speaker 2: within that grand picture, there are unique assignments and so
[29:08] Speaker 2: there are fragments distributed to people according to the election
[29:12] Speaker 2: of grace, according to their various levels of alignment and
[29:15] Speaker 2: so on and so forth. So you find people living
[29:17] Speaker 2: out their unique destinies but if done correctly, it should
[29:21] Speaker 2: fit into the grand program and there are six of them.
[29:25] Speaker 2: Let me just very quickly table them before you. Are
[29:28] Speaker 2: we learning anything? Praise the name of the Lord.
[29:32] Speaker 1: But To understand the assignment of the church. Let me
[29:37] Speaker 1: back down a bit. To understand the assignment.
[29:39] Speaker 2: Of the church. the church i want to introduce a
[29:42] Speaker 2: concept that if you do not understand you will not
[29:46] Speaker 2: really see the relevance of the church the concept of
[29:49] Speaker 2: kingdoms let me talk a bit about kingdoms until you
[29:54] Speaker 2: understand the concept of kingdoms you may never truly appreciate
[29:58] Speaker 2: or even fully grasp the weight of the assignment of
[30:02] Speaker 2: the church.
[30:02] Speaker 1: Someone say kingdoms. Please shout it like you're learning.
[30:06] Speaker 2: Say kingdoms. Right, so Colossians chapter 1. Please, let's read
[30:10] Speaker 2: verse 12 and 13. I'll talk a bit about kingdoms.
[30:13] Speaker 2: There's an important information about kingdoms we need to have
[30:17] Speaker 2: to truly understand the six or seven fold role of
[30:20] Speaker 2: the church.
[30:21] Speaker 1: Colossians 1.
[30:22] Speaker 2: The Bible says, giving thanks unto the father which had
[30:26] Speaker 2: made us meet or fit to be partakers of the
[30:31] Speaker 2: inheritance of the saints in light. Verse 13. The Bible says,
[30:35] Speaker 2: who had delivered us. Watch Paul's description. Who had delivered
[30:41] Speaker 2: us from the power of darkness. And had translated us
[30:47] Speaker 2: into the kingdom of his dear son. When you read
[30:51] Speaker 2: other elaborate renditions like Amplified. they would not just call
[30:54] Speaker 2: it the power of darkness, they would also express it as.
[30:58] Speaker 1: The kingdom of darkness.
[30:59] Speaker 2: So here, Paul tells us that what you call salvation
[31:03] Speaker 2: is not just receiving the life of Christ, but it
[31:06] Speaker 2: extends to a translation between one kingdom into another kingdom.
[31:11] Speaker 2: Is someone following now? So immediately, he gives us a
[31:14] Speaker 2: picture that this is the business of kingdoms. Everybody say kingdoms.
[31:19] Speaker 2: Shout it again, say kingdoms. Kingdoms. So there is every
[31:23] Speaker 2: unsaved person belongs to or at least has his ownership
[31:28] Speaker 2: been contested in a kingdom. And salvation does not just
[31:32] Speaker 2: give you access to the life of God, but it
[31:34] Speaker 2: allows for a legitimate transition from one kingdom into another kingdom.
[31:40] Speaker 1: So either ways, you are part of a kingdom.
[31:44] Speaker 2: Are we learning now? Praise the name of the Lord. Now,
[31:50] Speaker 2: there are are two principal kingdoms that operate on earth.
[31:56] Speaker 2: They have a very clear agenda and they represent the
[32:00] Speaker 2: two principal influences I wrote here that have shaped men,
[32:05] Speaker 2: have shaped societies and civilizations, whether for good or for bad.
[32:09] Speaker 2: There are two kingdoms. Only two. I know that in
[32:13] Speaker 2: the east we have several, you know, stratification of kingdoms.
[32:17] Speaker 1: When you go to the west, you go to the south-south.
[32:19] Speaker 2: You know, when you go to the middle east they
[32:22] Speaker 2: have kingdoms you go to europe you have the kingdoms
[32:26] Speaker 2: you have all kinds of kingdoms but these are just
[32:28] Speaker 2: earthly expressions of governance from a spiritual standpoint there are
[32:32] Speaker 2: only two kingdoms everybody say two kingdoms shout it like
[32:36] Speaker 2: you're learning say two kingdoms Number one is called the
[32:40] Speaker 2: kingdom of light or the kingdom of heaven or the
[32:44] Speaker 2: kingdom of God's dear son. I'm trying to be very
[32:47] Speaker 2: simple and elementary because it's important for us to understand this.
[32:50] Speaker 2: There is the kingdom of light or the kingdom of
[32:54] Speaker 2: heaven or the kingdom of God's dear son. This is
[32:58] Speaker 2: the first of the kingdoms. Number two, we have what
[33:01] Speaker 2: we call the kingdom of darkness. So we have the
[33:05] Speaker 2: kingdom of light where Jesus reigns as king. The kingdom
[33:09] Speaker 2: of God's dear son or the kingdom of heaven. The
[33:12] Speaker 2: Bible says we have been translated from the kingdom of
[33:15] Speaker 2: darkness or the power of darkness into the domain or
[33:18] Speaker 2: the dominion of his dear son. The kingdom of light.
[33:22] Speaker 2: So say the kingdom of light. The kingdom of heaven.
[33:27] Speaker 2: Or the kingdom of God's dear son. Hallelujah. This is
[33:31] Speaker 2: very important. In this kingdom. God has a program. The
[33:36] Speaker 2: kingdom of light. The kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of
[33:39] Speaker 2: God's dear son. God has a program. He has a plan.
[33:43] Speaker 2: He has a purpose.
[33:44] Speaker 1: For men. For families.
[33:46] Speaker 2: For nations, for territories, for the world. So we have
[33:50] Speaker 2: the kingdom of light headed by Jesus himself who is
[33:54] Speaker 2: the king of darkness.
[33:56] Speaker 1: The kingdom of darkness encapsulates.
[33:59] Speaker 2: Everything evil, everything unclean, everything demonic. And as far as
[34:03] Speaker 2: the Bible reveals to us, it's headed by that rebel
[34:07] Speaker 2: himself called Satan, the deceiver of many. That kingdom is
[34:13] Speaker 2: a counterfeit, corrupted kingdom. It's a system of governance. The
[34:17] Speaker 2: word kingdom simply means a system of governance. Are we together?
[34:21] Speaker 2: Where the values of a king desires to find influence
[34:26] Speaker 2: across a territory. So we have two kingdoms. Don't forget this.
[34:31] Speaker 2: We may have many ethnic kingdoms, but from a spiritual standpoint,
[34:35] Speaker 2: these are the two kingdoms that predate even the arrival
[34:38] Speaker 2: of man upon the earth. And there has been a
[34:42] Speaker 2: contention of these kingdoms. Everything you call civilization, technology, healings, decadence, revival,
[34:50] Speaker 2: is simply a contention between two kingdoms. Someone shout two kingdoms.
[34:55] Speaker 2: If you understand this, you are now understanding the value
[34:58] Speaker 2: of the church from a kingdom standpoint. Hallelujah.
[35:16] Speaker 2: All of those activities
[35:21] Speaker 2: are still under the influence of these two kingdoms. And
[35:24] Speaker 2: they don't care the geography of your function. They have
[35:27] Speaker 2: an exact mandate. The kingdom of God's dear son and
[35:31] Speaker 2: the kingdom of darkness.
[35:33] Speaker 1: And Satan has.
[35:34] Speaker 2: A very intelligent and predefined mandate. He's not confused as
[35:39] Speaker 2: to what to do with you. There is already a script.
[35:43] Speaker 2: And if you do not have the intelligence, you will
[35:45] Speaker 2: play to the gallery. Jesus himself spoke about Satan and
[35:48] Speaker 2: he called him the thief. He said in John 10, 10,
[35:51] Speaker 2: he said the thief cometh not but for to kill,
[35:55] Speaker 2: to steal, to kill and to destroy. In contrast to him,
[35:59] Speaker 2: I am come. So two of them comes. The thief comes.
[36:02] Speaker 2: I am come. The thief comes. I am come. Are
[36:06] Speaker 2: we together? So two of them will come. It depends
[36:08] Speaker 2: on who you receive. The thief comes.
[36:11] Speaker 1: I am come.
[36:12] Speaker 2: The thief comes, this is his manifesto, to steal, to
[36:16] Speaker 2: kill and to destroy. But I am come, this is
[36:19] Speaker 2: my manifesto, to give you life and to give you
[36:22] Speaker 2: life abundantly. Is somebody learning now? You can always know
[36:27] Speaker 2: a destiny that the thief has visited. You will see stealing.
[36:30] Speaker 2: You will see killing. You will see destruction. You will
[36:33] Speaker 2: see the influence of that government upon that life, that family,
[36:37] Speaker 2: that territory. You can also know a life that has
[36:41] Speaker 2: received the visitation of the kingdom of heaven through salvation.
[36:45] Speaker 1: You will see the signature of life. Are we together?
[36:48] Speaker 2: Vitality and so on and so forth. Let me pray
[36:51] Speaker 2: for someone already. In the name of Jesus Christ. everything
[36:54] Speaker 2: about your life that represents the reign of darkness that
[36:58] Speaker 2: looks like the signature of the kingdom of darkness is
[37:01] Speaker 2: around your life and your hands i decree and declare
[37:04] Speaker 2: the influence of darkness will stop from today over your
[37:08] Speaker 2: life the influence of darkness will stop from today over
[37:12] Speaker 2: your destiny you believe that shout amen.
[37:17] Speaker 1: Hallelujah praise the name of the lord now listen.
[37:26] Speaker 2: Everything in our world today that does not glorify God
[37:29] Speaker 2: was engineered by a kingdom.
[37:31] Speaker 1: There was an intelligence that brought it.
[37:33] Speaker 2: Look up, please.
[37:34] Speaker 1: From crime to all kinds of immoral vices.
[37:38] Speaker 2: Every decadence today that has plagued society and is causing
[37:42] Speaker 2: trouble to our world, some of them look like just
[37:45] Speaker 2: fabrications of the human mind. But I want you to
[37:48] Speaker 2: know that it's an intentional engineering. Are we together? From
[37:53] Speaker 2: disobedience to rebellion to perversions. Are we together? To abuse
[37:59] Speaker 2: of power, to disobedience, to everything anti-Christ, to extended practices
[38:04] Speaker 2: like witchcraft, diabolism. Are we together? Rebellion against the government
[38:12] Speaker 2: of Christ. People don't just become bad. They have their minds,
[38:16] Speaker 2: but they are perpetually under an influence. The boy does
[38:20] Speaker 2: not just disobey. The lady does not just prostitute. No, no.
[38:25] Speaker 2: Human beings are perpetually under the influence of governments. Please
[38:29] Speaker 2: listen carefully. Listen carefully. The gentleman who refused to obey
[38:34] Speaker 2: the mother. The prisons that are full of people today
[38:37] Speaker 2: who cannot explain why. Even if you bail them and
[38:40] Speaker 2: bring them out, after two months they are back there.
[38:43] Speaker 2: And you are wondering, my brother, do you like this life?
[38:45] Speaker 2: And he says, I don't like it. Even me, I'm
[38:47] Speaker 2: trying to stop. It's because there is a kingdom. How
[38:50] Speaker 2: about the other one who is obedient, excellent academically? It's
[38:54] Speaker 2: not just nice brain. That child is under the influence
[38:57] Speaker 2: of a government. Who is learning now? The man of
[39:01] Speaker 2: God who goes from street to street, you know, doing
[39:04] Speaker 2: works of charity to the one who will stretch his
[39:07] Speaker 2: hands and someone will stand up from a wheelchair, he
[39:09] Speaker 2: was not born that way. He's demonstrating the influence of
[39:13] Speaker 2: a government. Is somebody learning now? Most believers do not
[39:17] Speaker 2: know that there is no such thing in truth as
[39:20] Speaker 2: a free thinker. That idea of free thinking, it's a
[39:25] Speaker 2: it's a relative philosophical understanding but when you look at
[39:30] Speaker 2: it from with respect to kingdoms there's no such thing
[39:33] Speaker 2: as free thinking you are perpetually being influenced by these
[39:37] Speaker 2: governments Now, the next thing I want you to know
[39:41] Speaker 2: is that both the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom
[39:44] Speaker 2: of light are spiritual kingdoms. The meaning of that is
[39:47] Speaker 2: that you cannot see them physically, but they seek to
[39:50] Speaker 2: exert their influence upon the earth. And there are three ways,
[39:54] Speaker 2: don't forget this, there are three ways the kingdom of light,
[39:58] Speaker 2: the kingdom of God's dear son, are we together, perpetuates
[40:02] Speaker 2: his influence and his governance upon the earth. And there
[40:05] Speaker 2: are three ways the kingdom of darkness extends or reveals
[40:10] Speaker 2: its influence. So they are spiritual kingdoms, but they have
[40:14] Speaker 2: physical infrastructures through which they make their dominion visible.
[40:20] Speaker 1: Do you understand me?
[40:21] Speaker 2: Number one, the first infrastructure through which the kingdom of
[40:25] Speaker 2: heaven and the kingdom of darkness manifest their.
[40:29] Speaker 1: Dominion upon the earth is called man. Men are an infrastructure.
[40:34] Speaker 2: They are a system that reveals the dominion of these
[40:38] Speaker 2: spiritual kingdoms. Number two, belief systems or ideologies. The second
[40:43] Speaker 2: way these kingdoms find visible expression within the world of
[40:47] Speaker 2: men is by selling ideas and belief systems. And then
[40:51] Speaker 2: number three, institutions. So these are the three ways that
[40:56] Speaker 2: the government of the Christ finds expression within the earth.
[41:00] Speaker 2: And the three ways the government of darkness finds expression. Men,
[41:05] Speaker 2: belief systems or ideologies and institutions. Shout that after me,
[41:10] Speaker 2: say men. Say belief systems. Say institutions. For one last time,
[41:17] Speaker 2: say men. Say belief systems.
[41:20] Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
[41:21] Speaker 2: How many of you know that armed robbery is not
[41:24] Speaker 2: just a person, it's a mentality? How many of you
[41:27] Speaker 2: know that responsibility is a mentality? How many of you
[41:30] Speaker 2: know that diligence is a mentality? How many of you
[41:33] Speaker 2: know that corruption is a mentality? So, you may not
[41:37] Speaker 2: see Satan physically, except your eyes are open to, you know,
[41:42] Speaker 2: to the realm of the spirit, but you can see
[41:44] Speaker 2: his influence. And every time you see the influence of
[41:47] Speaker 2: the government of Satan, it has come through mankind It
[41:50] Speaker 2: has come through belief systems and it has come through institutions.
[41:55] Speaker 2: Did you know that it was an institution that was
[41:58] Speaker 2: consulted to frustrate the program of God in Babylon by
[42:02] Speaker 2: stopping Daniel from praying? So Satan used the parliament and
[42:06] Speaker 2: influenced the people to pass a law, just one law,
[42:09] Speaker 2: to prohibit prayer for 30 days. Say institutions.
[42:13] Speaker 1: Now you would never see Satan there, yet it was him.
[42:18] Speaker 2: Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Jesus spoke about dying for us and Peter
[42:22] Speaker 2: looks at him and says, no, no, no, no. You
[42:24] Speaker 2: will not go to the cross. You will not die.
[42:27] Speaker 2: It was a mentality. And Jesus looks at Peter and said, no,
[42:30] Speaker 2: this is not you. Get thee behind me, Satan. And
[42:33] Speaker 2: Peter said, what is this? He said, Peter, unknown to you,
[42:37] Speaker 2: an idea came to you that you thought it was
[42:39] Speaker 2: compassion while you are fighting the program of God. He says,
[42:42] Speaker 2: Satan has desired to sift you like wheat. How does
[42:45] Speaker 2: he sift you? By planting an understanding. Satan does not
[42:51] Speaker 2: only use evil, he can use good too. Satan does
[42:55] Speaker 2: not just use wickedness, he can use scripture. Anything that
[42:59] Speaker 2: destroy you, even if it is God said, is a
[43:01] Speaker 2: worthy tool in his hands. That's why the word must
[43:03] Speaker 2: be rightly divided. Because if Satan uses evil and you
[43:07] Speaker 2: reject it, he will take his Bible and make a
[43:09] Speaker 2: weapon out of it and still destroy you. Listen, when
[43:15] Speaker 2: he came to Jesus in Matthew chapter.
[43:17] Speaker 1: 4, He said, you are hungry. Remember, you are hungry.
[43:23] Speaker 2: Turn this stone to bread. He didn't talk about the
[43:26] Speaker 2: word of God. He just brought an idea. And Jesus
[43:29] Speaker 2: now switched and said, it is written. The next time
[43:31] Speaker 2: he would tempt him, he also said, it is written.
[43:34] Speaker 2: The first time he did not say it is written.
[43:36] Speaker 2: It was a suggestion. This is an issue of common sense.
[43:40] Speaker 2: You are hungry. You have the power.
[43:42] Speaker 1: Turn stones to bread.
[43:44] Speaker 2: And Jesus said, no, I'm bound by the word. It
[43:47] Speaker 2: is not just my appetite. I am bound by the word.
[43:49] Speaker 2: Then he now said, all right, let's talk scripture. It
[43:51] Speaker 2: is written. He shall keep his angels charge over you.
[43:55] Speaker 2: They shall bear thee up on their wings. Who is speaking?
[43:59] Speaker 2: Be careful who is speaking. Beyond what you hear, who
[44:02] Speaker 2: is the one speaking? Because Satan can quote scriptures. He
[44:06] Speaker 2: quoted it accurately before Jesus. He shall put his angels
[44:10] Speaker 2: over you. They shall bury you on your wings. Lest
[44:12] Speaker 2: you dash your foot against a stone. If you were Jesus,
[44:15] Speaker 2: you said this must be an ally. You quoted scripture correctly. However,
[44:19] Speaker 2: that was Satan. If Satan uses evil and it fails
[44:23] Speaker 2: to work, he will use good. The most important thing
[44:26] Speaker 2: is your destruction. The tree in the garden of Eden
[44:31] Speaker 2: was called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
[44:35] Speaker 2: Not just evil alone. Not every good has life. There
[44:41] Speaker 2: are many good things that kill. There are many good
[44:45] Speaker 2: things that destroy. Good can be a raw material for
[44:48] Speaker 2: the destruction of a person too. That's why the Bible
[44:51] Speaker 2: does not just talk about good and evil. It talks
[44:54] Speaker 2: about life. It talks about submission to the governing influence
[44:57] Speaker 2: of the spirit.
[44:58] Speaker 1: Are we learning already? Praise the name of the Lord.
[45:01] Speaker 1: So I'm saying that.
[45:02] Speaker 2: Every time you see the government of heaven find expression
[45:07] Speaker 2: in a life, a family, a territory, there are three
[45:10] Speaker 2: infrastructures that it deploys. Men, belief systems, and institutions. Do
[45:16] Speaker 2: you know why I'm saying this to you? So that
[45:18] Speaker 2: you will understand the assignment of the church. Whoever influences men,
[45:26] Speaker 2: Whoever controls the belief system and.
[45:29] Speaker 1: Whoever has influence over the.
[45:31] Speaker 2: Institution will be the one whose government will find expression
[45:37] Speaker 2: within a territory. Satan is not just interested in men.
[45:41] Speaker 2: Satan is interested in what is believed in every dispensation.
[45:46] Speaker 2: Don't you think Satan is only interested in men? He
[45:48] Speaker 2: wants to know what you believe and he wants to
[45:51] Speaker 2: be the sponsor of that belief so he can use
[45:55] Speaker 2: the media. So he can use ideas. Are we together?
[46:01] Speaker 2: So Satan can redefine masculinity to be rebellion. And say
[46:06] Speaker 2: if you are kind and you are okay, you are
[46:09] Speaker 2: not man enough. Being rebellious is consistent with your nature.
[46:14] Speaker 2: And sells that idea. It's called witchcraft. Witchcraft does not
[46:20] Speaker 2: just mean to conjure spells. It means to cause a
[46:23] Speaker 2: man to err using the tool of deception. So the
[46:26] Speaker 2: Bible says, O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you? He says,
[46:30] Speaker 2: but I fear less as Satan beguiled Eve. He uses
[46:34] Speaker 2: an idea, an idea that may not be immediately harmful.
[46:38] Speaker 2: Why are you that quiet? Why are you obedient? Why
[46:40] Speaker 2: are you saying sorry when you should fight? You have
[46:43] Speaker 2: the power. Come on, be a man. That's an idea.
[46:46] Speaker 2: So he hijacks a generation and redefines masculinity. Are we together?
[46:53] Speaker 2: Why are you dressing so well when you are a
[46:54] Speaker 2: very nice lady? Expose yourself and as you do that,
[46:58] Speaker 2: you will earn for yourself a lot of respect. An idea,
[47:03] Speaker 2: it stands like it will not work. It's amazing how
[47:06] Speaker 2: many people believe wrong things and they are not even
[47:09] Speaker 2: aware it is wrong because a mindset has become an institution.
[47:15] Speaker 2: If you don't understand this, you will come to church
[47:18] Speaker 2: every week and not know what you are there for.
[47:22] Speaker 1: Is someone learning now? Praise the name of the Lord.
[47:27] Speaker 2: Kingdoms. Kingdoms. And for preachers, you will see immediately that
[47:36] Speaker 2: by this description, what you call ministry is only about
[47:41] Speaker 2: 30% of the real assignment. There is a major part
[47:45] Speaker 2: of the assignment that goes beyond preaching. So you can
[47:49] Speaker 2: do well as a preacher and yet you failed in
[47:51] Speaker 2: the assignment.
[47:52] Speaker 1: Because a major part of the remaining work was not done.
[47:56] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning now? Kingdoms. Let me give you one
[48:04] Speaker 2: more information about kingdoms. God has an agenda for all
[48:20] Speaker 2: men and his agenda is twofold. Number one, his agenda
[48:25] Speaker 2: is to establish the rule and reign, the government of
[48:29] Speaker 2: heaven first in the hearts of men. This is true salvation.
[48:33] Speaker 2: And then the second agenda. is to extend the influence
[48:38] Speaker 2: of the kingdom across every strata of human activities.
[48:42] Speaker 1: This is the summary of God's agenda.
[48:44] Speaker 2: Number one, enthroning the Christ and his life and his
[48:49] Speaker 2: value system across every heart. So God's agenda starts with
[48:55] Speaker 2: the heart. Everybody say the heart. The enthroning of Christ,
[49:01] Speaker 2: the enthroning of his life, the enthroning of his value
[49:06] Speaker 2: system in the hearts of men. Then number two, the
[49:10] Speaker 2: extension of the influence or the value system of the
[49:15] Speaker 2: kingdom across every strata of human activities. Now please look
[49:20] Speaker 2: at me. The gospel forms society. Let me say that again.
[49:24] Speaker 2: The gospel is a message that saves an individual. Right?
[49:28] Speaker 2: It has the power to save an individual. But the
[49:31] Speaker 2: gospel is also a value system that can change society.
[49:38] Speaker 2: And can transform a society. If you focus on saving
[49:42] Speaker 2: the individual. And there is a wrong value system that
[49:46] Speaker 2: governs a society. The individual can be saved. But you
[49:50] Speaker 2: will still be a victim of a society that is
[49:53] Speaker 2: under the influence of Satan. You may have heard me
[49:56] Speaker 2: say this.
[49:57] Speaker 1: Lot was a righteous man.
[49:59] Speaker 2: But Sodom and Gomorrah was not a place of righteousness.
[50:03] Speaker 2: Because it was being run by another value system. The
[50:07] Speaker 2: effect was that it almost cost him his daughters and
[50:11] Speaker 2: it eventually cost him his wife. So you can be
[50:13] Speaker 2: saved as a person. But if the value system of
[50:17] Speaker 2: the kingdom is not what governs your territory. They can
[50:21] Speaker 2: kill your loved ones. If terrorists are the ones who govern.
[50:25] Speaker 2: Some of you who come from the north, you know this.
[50:27] Speaker 2: You can be a good man, but you lose your
[50:29] Speaker 2: children needlessly. You lose your spouse. You lose your means
[50:33] Speaker 2: of livelihood. Because the territory is running by another software.
[50:37] Speaker 1: Somebody learning.
[50:38] Speaker 2: So the idea is not just the personal salvation of individuals.
[50:42] Speaker 2: God is also interested in extending his value system to society.
[50:48] Speaker 1: Now let me tell you this.
[50:50] Speaker 2: There are many territories that have rejected the life of Christ.
[50:54] Speaker 2: But they received his value system. And they were able
[50:57] Speaker 2: to replicate heaven territorially. The only thing that is wrong
[51:01] Speaker 2: is their heart. The system is heaven. There are many
[51:05] Speaker 2: parts of the world today, nations when you travel to.
[51:09] Speaker 2: Even though they will not confess Jesus openly. You cannot
[51:15] Speaker 2: deny the influence of the value system of heaven across
[51:20] Speaker 2: that territory. You see law and order. You see righteousness
[51:23] Speaker 2: and justice. And the Bible says they are the foundation
[51:25] Speaker 2: of his throne. Are we together? You see policies that
[51:29] Speaker 2: engineer men to manifest similitudes of the fruit of the spirit. Kindness, love,
[51:35] Speaker 2: no shunting of lines. You stand. Although they are unbelievers,
[51:39] Speaker 2: they are forced to live like believers. And that system.
[51:44] Speaker 1: Carries the glory of God in a measure. And yet
[51:47] Speaker 1: you are surprised.
[51:48] Speaker 2: They will not acknowledge the God of heaven. But the
[51:51] Speaker 2: system has come under the influence. It's somebody learning. Now
[51:54] Speaker 2: you come to a place like Africa and you find
[51:57] Speaker 2: pure hearts.
[51:58] Speaker 1: Hearts that love the Lord. But the territory is in decadence.
[52:02] Speaker 2: Because something is wrong with our understanding of the role
[52:05] Speaker 2: of church. So we focus on the personal salvation of men,
[52:11] Speaker 2: which is wonderful.
[52:12] Speaker 1: But we leave a larger portion of the.
[52:14] Speaker 2: Assignment and we become victims of a society that is
[52:18] Speaker 2: anti-Christ in its value system. You understand now? Praise the
[52:26] Speaker 2: name of the Lord. God is not only interested in men.
[52:31] Speaker 2: He's interested in cities. That's why he sent Jonah to Nineveh.
[52:36] Speaker 2: Go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry to it.
[52:40] Speaker 2: Not just to the person. Go to Nineveh.
[52:42] Speaker 1: Cry. I want the salvation of that city. In the
[52:46] Speaker 1: name of Jesus.
[52:47] Speaker 2: It is not only individuals here who will be saved.
[52:49] Speaker 2: The east of the Niger will be a representation of
[52:53] Speaker 2: a territory. Where Christ is king. Come on now. The
[52:56] Speaker 2: east of the Niger will be a representation of a territory.
[53:00] Speaker 2: Whether it's Onisha, whether it's, I'll mention the names, Abba,
[53:03] Speaker 2: whether it's wherever. I mean, you go there, you don't
[53:06] Speaker 2: just find hearts that love Jesus. You see policies that
[53:10] Speaker 2: are consistent with the value system of God. Please sit down.
[53:14] Speaker 2: Let me use something that you do very well in
[53:17] Speaker 2: your territory. And let me commend you on it. Did
[53:20] Speaker 2: you know that across the east of the Niger, there
[53:23] Speaker 2: are certain practices, whether it is done by Christian Igbo
[53:28] Speaker 2: people or not, it is a value system that is
[53:30] Speaker 2: consistent with the government of heaven. And that's the reason
[53:34] Speaker 2: why it works. Number one is mentorship and apprenticeship. Do
[53:38] Speaker 2: you know why it works? Through that strategy, you have
[53:41] Speaker 2: raised billionaires consistently. Because he said, the things that thou
[53:45] Speaker 2: hast seen among many brethren, commit thou to faithful men
[53:49] Speaker 2: who will commit it to others. Now the man practicing
[53:52] Speaker 2: it will tell you, I don't believe in Jesus, but
[53:55] Speaker 2: they believe in his ways. And so they get the results.
[53:58] Speaker 2: There is the glory of God, a dimension of his
[54:01] Speaker 2: glory that is connected to his ways. So you find
[54:05] Speaker 2: out that wealth and prosperity keeps extending. And the people
[54:09] Speaker 2: just say, well, I just raised this message. No, it
[54:11] Speaker 2: became a culture, almost like an unwritten rule. Am I
[54:14] Speaker 2: right on that? Another is diligence. A diligent hand shall
[54:20] Speaker 2: be made fat. You find someone who try this, it
[54:23] Speaker 2: does not work. He will pick up spare parts and
[54:26] Speaker 2: become the leader in it. Unknown to the person, you
[54:29] Speaker 2: are responding to a value system of the kingdom. That
[54:34] Speaker 2: he becomet poor that dealeth with a slothful hand. Are
[54:37] Speaker 2: we together now? Yes.
[54:41] Speaker 1: Is somebody learning?
[54:42] Speaker 2: How many of you know that, and I've seen it
[54:45] Speaker 2: in common practice around the east. You find out that
[54:49] Speaker 2: even if somebody is an unbeliever, by the time he
[54:51] Speaker 2: makes money, he wants to do something for the house
[54:54] Speaker 2: of God. I think I got that right. Did I
[54:57] Speaker 2: get that right? You know that the person is not
[54:59] Speaker 2: born again, no. But you say, you know what? Which
[55:02] Speaker 2: church building I want to be part of it? He said,
[55:06] Speaker 2: for the sake of thy house, I desire your prosperity.
[55:09] Speaker 2: These are kingdom principles.
[55:11] Speaker 1: That's my point.
[55:12] Speaker 2: It may be practiced by people who don't believe in Jesus.
[55:15] Speaker 2: But because there is a dimension of God's glory that
[55:18] Speaker 2: is invested in his value system, they still get the result.
[55:23] Speaker 2: So there are Christians who love Jesus and have received
[55:26] Speaker 2: his life.
[55:27] Speaker 1: His government is at work in their heart.
[55:29] Speaker 2: They have peace.
[55:30] Speaker 1: They have joy.
[55:31] Speaker 2: They are consecrated. But because they do not understand his
[55:34] Speaker 2: value system. They cannot birth victory using the word. And
[55:40] Speaker 2: yet they love Jesus. Now you understand the meaning of
[55:45] Speaker 2: the statement thy kingdom come. Remember we are still discussing church.
[55:50] Speaker 2: But I needed to route you this way. So that
[55:52] Speaker 2: you can understand the value of the church. If you
[55:55] Speaker 2: do not understand the contention of kingdoms. You can never
[55:58] Speaker 2: really understand the value of church. Men of God and priests,
[56:03] Speaker 2: did you know that when we stand on Sunday, our
[56:06] Speaker 2: congregation is divided into two.
[56:08] Speaker 1: Not three, not five. Spiritually into two.
[56:12] Speaker 2: Within that congregation, there are those who are under the
[56:15] Speaker 2: governing influence of Satan, his laws, his life. Whether they
[56:19] Speaker 2: are afflicted and the influence is at various levels. Because
[56:23] Speaker 2: even Christians can be under the influence of the government
[56:26] Speaker 2: of Satan. Their spirits may not be under the influence,
[56:30] Speaker 2: but their bodies, their minds, and even their destinies. That's
[56:34] Speaker 2: the reason why we're still content for transformation, for renewal.
[56:37] Speaker 2: Are we together? So when you stand to preach, regardless
[56:41] Speaker 2: the topic for consideration, you know that we're talking two kingdoms.
[56:46] Speaker 2: In this place right now, it's a contention of two kingdoms.
[56:50] Speaker 2: There is the kingdom of darkness causing sickness, diseases, pain, trouble, delays.
[56:56] Speaker 2: That's the signature of the kingdom of darkness. And then
[56:59] Speaker 2: there is the kingdom of God's dear son. Victory, grace, glory, peace, redemption, salvation, deliverance.
[57:07] Speaker 2: The assignment of the man of God is to come
[57:10] Speaker 2: in partnership with the word of God and the spirit
[57:12] Speaker 2: of God. And through the teachings, through the ministrations, there
[57:16] Speaker 2: is a supernatural translation. Who understands this? That's what you
[57:21] Speaker 2: call a church service. A church service is not just
[57:24] Speaker 2: starting a program and finishing it with the grace. No,
[57:27] Speaker 2: it's a journey that shortens the.
[57:29] Speaker 1: Distance between people.
[57:31] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[57:32] Speaker 1: You bring that translation.
[57:33] Speaker 2: So if someone is healed, what you simply did was
[57:37] Speaker 2: to break the influence of the government of Satan over
[57:40] Speaker 2: the body of that person. Hallelujah. This is powerful. When
[57:55] Speaker 2: you take food to go and give the hungry, what
[57:57] Speaker 2: are you doing? It's not just compassion. What you are
[58:00] Speaker 2: doing in that experience is that you are revealing to
[58:03] Speaker 2: them a more superior government. That your government is not
[58:08] Speaker 2: that of greed. Are we together? You are extending the
[58:12] Speaker 2: love of Jesus to them. And then, let me tell
[58:16] Speaker 2: you this. The journey is that you become so influenced
[58:20] Speaker 2: by that government, you become an extension of it. The
[58:25] Speaker 2: idea is not for you to submit to the government alone.
[58:28] Speaker 2: But that you so submit to the government, you become
[58:32] Speaker 2: an embodiment. That means wherever you go, the government of
[58:36] Speaker 2: heaven is there. And everything that characterizes that government should
[58:39] Speaker 2: find expression in your life. Power, wisdom, compassion, help. Are
[58:44] Speaker 2: we together? That you come into someone's house and while
[58:47] Speaker 2: you are knocking... And the person says, who is there?
[58:50] Speaker 2: And you say, John. No, John did not come alone.
[58:53] Speaker 2: It was a government of heaven that came there. As
[58:57] Speaker 2: soon as you, listen, do you know, when you understand
[59:01] Speaker 2: this concept of kingdoms and governments, God can send you
[59:04] Speaker 2: to a place you have no business going. It's not you.
[59:07] Speaker 2: He wants his kingdom there. And because you are the
[59:10] Speaker 2: most aligned vessel, he will send you there because your
[59:13] Speaker 2: presence announces the entrance of the kingdom. So you just
[59:17] Speaker 2: feel like, visiting a woman today in Onitsha why do
[59:21] Speaker 2: I just no you don't feel like the spirit of
[59:24] Speaker 2: death wants to kill her and God wants to take
[59:27] Speaker 2: a career one who carries that government you call it
[59:30] Speaker 2: a visit you enter the house and just sit there
[59:33] Speaker 2: madam how are you how are your children you don't
[59:36] Speaker 2: know that your presence are we together there you have
[59:39] Speaker 2: driven the spirit of death just by visiting that house
[59:43] Speaker 2: and God says you can go now and you leave
[59:45] Speaker 2: not knowing that you just stopped death from happening in
[59:48] Speaker 2: the family because you are not only under the influence
[59:51] Speaker 2: of the kingdom you have become an embodiment of it
[59:56] Speaker 2: who is understanding this this is powerful Very powerful. When
[1:00:09] Speaker 2: a company wants to shut down and fold, the Spirit
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: of God, remember, a clash of kingdoms. God will make
[1:00:15] Speaker 2: sure they give you a job. And you are saying,
[1:00:17] Speaker 2: but I did not really apply this job. It's not
[1:00:19] Speaker 2: about the job. It's that an intercessor has been praying
[1:00:22] Speaker 2: over that company. And God is saying, which envoy of
[1:00:25] Speaker 2: the kingdom can I send as a repairer of the bridge?
[1:00:28] Speaker 2: Somebody who will stand there. And you thought that they
[1:00:31] Speaker 2: just employ you to walk. You carried your certificate plus
[1:00:35] Speaker 2: the government of heaven. That's what you took there. Why
[1:00:40] Speaker 2: do you think Laban did not lose? Read your Bible.
[1:00:44] Speaker 2: Laban said, no, no, no. I've done things that I
[1:00:47] Speaker 2: should lose agriculturally. But by a mystery, I keep succeeding.
[1:00:52] Speaker 2: And he went to consult by divination. And they told him,
[1:00:54] Speaker 2: there is a man. Make sure that man does not
[1:00:57] Speaker 2: leave your house. Let me tell you, when you understand kingdom,
[1:01:02] Speaker 2: men will look for you.
[1:01:03] Speaker 1: Not to preach, but they know that.
[1:01:05] Speaker 2: Your proximity with them is an advantage to their destinies.
[1:01:16] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning? An embodiment of the kingdom. An embodiment
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: of the kingdom. Now, very quickly, let me give you
[1:01:30] Speaker 2: the six or seven assignments of the church. Number one,
[1:01:36] Speaker 2: The first assignment of the church, according to scripture, is
[1:01:39] Speaker 2: the assignment of priesthood.
[1:01:41] Speaker 1: And prophetic intercession.
[1:01:43] Speaker 2: Please write that down. The first assignment of the church
[1:01:46] Speaker 2: is not evangelism. It's priesthood and prophetic intercession. Priesthood here
[1:01:52] Speaker 2: talks about using the weapon of prayer. to enforce the
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: will of God and to restrain the program of darkness
[1:02:02] Speaker 2: over individuals, over families, over nations, over territories. Please write
[1:02:07] Speaker 2: that down.
[1:02:08] Speaker 1: Assignment number one of the church, the.
[1:02:10] Speaker 2: Reason why we came, the reason why God brought us
[1:02:14] Speaker 2: together is to become agents of priesthood and prophetic intercession.
[1:02:21] Speaker 2: Our assignment on that there is twofold. Number one, to
[1:02:24] Speaker 2: enforce the will of God in prayer. number two to
[1:02:28] Speaker 2: restrain the power of darkness over individuals over families Ezekiel
[1:02:34] Speaker 2: 22 and verse 30 I sought for a man to
[1:02:38] Speaker 2: stand in the gap and to make up the heads
[1:02:40] Speaker 2: for the land so that I will not destroy it
[1:02:43] Speaker 2: but I found none 22 30 Ezekiel hear me you
[1:02:51] Speaker 2: can know that there is a living church in Onisha,
[1:02:56] Speaker 2: in Anambra, in Enugu, not because you find people wearing
[1:03:01] Speaker 2: choir garment or you find people wearing suits as protocol. No.
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: To what degree is the program of God finding expression?
[1:03:10] Speaker 2: And to what degree is darkness being restrained? The evidence
[1:03:15] Speaker 2: of the presence of the church is the difficulty for
[1:03:19] Speaker 2: darkness to penetrate individuals and families. That Satan can testify
[1:03:26] Speaker 2: that we have tried over Oji River.
[1:03:28] Speaker 1: We have tried over Alhambra. We have tried.
[1:03:32] Speaker 2: Every time we are about to execute a plan, here
[1:03:34] Speaker 2: comes an intercessor. Here comes a body of believers with understanding.
[1:03:39] Speaker 2: I pray for you. The grace to invest prayer. The
[1:03:44] Speaker 2: grace to invest prayer until the power of darkness and
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: the influence of Satan is restrained over your region. May
[1:03:53] Speaker 2: that grace be released upon you. Say amen. Say amen.
[1:04:01] Speaker 1: It is the reason why every believer must pray. Look
[1:04:04] Speaker 1: at me.
[1:04:04] Speaker 2: How many of you know that rain is a collective
[1:04:08] Speaker 2: contribution of the evaporation that rises from everywhere? The gutter
[1:04:13] Speaker 2: brings its contribution, this other place, and together it goes
[1:04:17] Speaker 2: through a system in the cloud called condensation.
[1:04:21] Speaker 1: Comes together and it becomes heavy.
[1:04:23] Speaker 2: When it pours down, you don't know the water that
[1:04:26] Speaker 2: came from here or from here. It comes as one avalanche.
[1:04:30] Speaker 2: that's what happens to the power of prayer so this
[1:04:33] Speaker 2: one is praying at the east this one is praying
[1:04:35] Speaker 2: here the mother is praying the pastor is praying the
[1:04:38] Speaker 2: businessman is praying you see that now satan escapes this
[1:04:42] Speaker 2: family before he gets there there's a prayer bulwark already
[1:04:45] Speaker 2: raised when believers understand that this is why we were
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: brought we are the restraining force We stop evil from
[1:04:53] Speaker 2: penetrating a life, a church. Don't let people die and say, hey, yeah,
[1:04:58] Speaker 2: why are you there? Don't let people fail and say, hey, yeah.
[1:05:01] Speaker 2: Don't let your youth go into all kinds of things
[1:05:04] Speaker 2: and say they are like that. They are stubborn. They
[1:05:06] Speaker 2: are not stubborn. There is a government influencing them. And
[1:05:10] Speaker 2: when believers rise, knowing that we are God's strategy. Listen, listen.
[1:05:18] Speaker 2: Don't wait till the day you have ministry to your name. Pray.
[1:05:22] Speaker 2: You don't need a title to pray. And I'm not
[1:05:26] Speaker 2: just saying give me, give me. Who is understanding the
[1:05:28] Speaker 2: assignment of the church? There was a woman in the
[1:05:32] Speaker 2: Bible called Anna the prophetess bishop. If that woman did
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: not pray, Jesus would not arrive. He did not just
[1:05:39] Speaker 2: come because it was preordained. There was a woman who
[1:05:42] Speaker 2: sacrificed 65 years of her life. 65, not 25, not 30, 65.
[1:05:50] Speaker 2: One prayer point. Maranatha, come. Come Lord Jesus. Come Lord Jesus.
[1:05:55] Speaker 2: She was at the temple praying. Finally, she sees the
[1:05:59] Speaker 2: word becoming flesh. She said, I've finally seen the consolation
[1:06:02] Speaker 2: of Israel. Now my soul can find rest. There must
[1:06:06] Speaker 2: be a generation that understands the function of the church.
[1:06:09] Speaker 2: Are we together? That you keep praying. One day, you
[1:06:13] Speaker 2: will hear on a radio station, a young accurate prophet. Aha!
[1:06:17] Speaker 2: That's the hand, like the fist, is starting the formation.
[1:06:20] Speaker 2: God is already finding men. don't just say young men
[1:06:23] Speaker 2: will arise pray them to arise don't just say young
[1:06:26] Speaker 2: women will arise pray them to arise don't just say
[1:06:29] Speaker 2: entrepreneurs will arise pray them to arise don't just say
[1:06:33] Speaker 2: men on fire will be on the poopies pray them
[1:06:35] Speaker 2: so pray them so don't wish it pray don't discuss
[1:06:41] Speaker 2: it pray shout i will pray shout i will pray Apostle,
[1:06:52] Speaker 2: but we need a lot of prophetic worshipers rising from
[1:06:55] Speaker 2: the east. You can compose a song. It doesn't mean
[1:07:01] Speaker 2: you'll be enlisted in that revival army. But in the
[1:07:04] Speaker 2: place of prayer, one day you will hear a sound.
[1:07:08] Speaker 2: Then another sound. Then another sound. In a very unassuming way.
[1:07:12] Speaker 2: You will sing that song once. And it will catch fire.
[1:07:15] Speaker 2: Because it did not come from your mind. You were
[1:07:18] Speaker 2: not trying to wax an album. Your alignment in prayer
[1:07:21] Speaker 2: connected you to a frequency in the spirit. And you
[1:07:24] Speaker 2: drew a song that became a ladder for revival. Is
[1:07:27] Speaker 2: somebody hearing now?
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: The first assignment of the church.
[1:07:33] Speaker 2: Let me tell you, the church in Africa prays, but
[1:07:35] Speaker 2: the reason why our prayer is not powerful is that
[1:07:38] Speaker 2: the understanding and the motive that has supported our prayer,
[1:07:42] Speaker 2: our prayer is a spiritual way for many believers. Our
[1:07:46] Speaker 2: prayer lives are simply a spiritualized form of lust. This
[1:07:52] Speaker 2: thing the Bible calls lust, we simply use prayer to
[1:07:56] Speaker 2: wrap it like you wrap poison, you know, with a
[1:07:59] Speaker 2: good you are baking.
[1:08:00] Speaker 1: It looks like cake, but it's not cake.
[1:08:03] Speaker 2: So instead of going to the harbour list, I decide
[1:08:06] Speaker 2: to go to God to meet my need, my way.
[1:08:09] Speaker 2: It's still lost. The kind of prayer that will bed
[1:08:15] Speaker 2: the program of God.
[1:08:15] Speaker 1: Is not just give me, give me.
[1:08:18] Speaker 2: It's your kingdom come. Lord, your kingdom come. Whatever it
[1:08:23] Speaker 2: is that you are doing for the next five years
[1:08:24] Speaker 2: in the east, here is one pillar representing the body
[1:08:29] Speaker 2: of Christ. I will pray it every day. Is somebody learning?
[1:08:33] Speaker 2: You wake up in the morning, you are praying, let
[1:08:37] Speaker 2: your kingdom come in the name of Jesus. It will
[1:08:40] Speaker 2: look like nothing is happening. One day from your neighborhood,
[1:08:43] Speaker 2: there will be a young boy there and in honor
[1:08:46] Speaker 2: to your prayer, do you know many of these people
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: today that you see you call great men of God?
[1:08:51] Speaker 2: Find out what their mothers did. Find out what their
[1:08:54] Speaker 2: fathers did.
[1:08:54] Speaker 1: Some of those.
[1:08:55] Speaker 2: Mothers camped missionaries in their boys quarters. They didn't have much,
[1:08:59] Speaker 2: but every time they are organizing a crusade they say
[1:09:01] Speaker 2: please we can't even sleep in the parlor those things
[1:09:04] Speaker 2: were memorials in the spirit after many years God said
[1:09:07] Speaker 2: I need to come to this family I'm a covenant
[1:09:10] Speaker 2: keeping God I have raised other people but I have
[1:09:13] Speaker 2: to come here male or female just give me somebody
[1:09:16] Speaker 2: that I must.
[1:09:16] Speaker 1: Use If young people understood this, we would not dishonor fathers.
[1:09:22] Speaker 2: There are graces we are entering today, not because we
[1:09:25] Speaker 2: dug the well. Those who dug the well did not
[1:09:28] Speaker 2: taste of the water. And we just came and found
[1:09:30] Speaker 2: an oasis. And God kept us there by grace. Any
[1:09:34] Speaker 2: wise man will know that Jacob's well, the fact that,
[1:09:37] Speaker 2: do you know the well where the woman in John
[1:09:39] Speaker 2: 4 came to fetch water?
[1:09:41] Speaker 1: You know whose well that was? Jacob's well. Jacob missed his.
[1:09:47] Speaker 2: Encounter and went through all kinds of things and dug
[1:09:50] Speaker 2: a well. Many years later, at that same well, a
[1:09:54] Speaker 2: woman will meet Jesus and it will redefine the order
[1:09:58] Speaker 2: of true worship. There are many wells that have been
[1:10:01] Speaker 2: dug across the east. Sooner or later, someone will go
[1:10:05] Speaker 2: there and not know that this is the well. I had,
[1:10:10] Speaker 2: I had Bishop sing Umar Gpai's song and some of
[1:10:12] Speaker 2: the songs. Some of you are entering into certain shoes.
[1:10:16] Speaker 2: I'm telling you. That hunger you see, it didn't start
[1:10:19] Speaker 2: from you. The hunger has been transferred from people. Others
[1:10:22] Speaker 2: rejected it. Now it has finally landed on you. Make
[1:10:25] Speaker 2: sure it doesn't leave you. Let it stay there. Let
[1:10:28] Speaker 2: it stay there. Prayer. Prayer. Prayer. If you take the
[1:10:38] Speaker 2: time to pray, pastors, teach your people how to pray.
[1:10:43] Speaker 1: Don't just tell.
[1:10:43] Speaker 2: Them to pray. Let them understand the value of prayer.
[1:10:46] Speaker 2: Else they will pray amiss. They will keep dissipating energy
[1:10:49] Speaker 2: that does not strike a chord in the spirit. There
[1:10:52] Speaker 2: is intelligence to prayer. Hallelujah. The people must learn to pray.
[1:10:56] Speaker 2: Let me give you number two quickly. Are we receiving anything?
[1:11:01] Speaker 2: The assignment of the church. For the kings to be born,
[1:11:09] Speaker 2: for revival to return. For the kings to arise, for fame.
[1:11:16] Speaker 1: This thing you are doing has been spoken about years ago.
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: Let's go and find out who prophesied it. But I
[1:11:23] Speaker 2: have a witness in my spirit. This thing you call
[1:11:25] Speaker 2: the refinance fire meeting, it didn't start from one man.
[1:11:29] Speaker 1: It's like it's a man to God has been testing people.
[1:11:31] Speaker 2: Can I trust you? I'm too busy making money. Can
[1:11:34] Speaker 2: I trust you? Can I trust you?
[1:11:36] Speaker 1: I'm not just saying it.
[1:11:38] Speaker 2: Because Bishop is here. I sense that it's like God
[1:11:41] Speaker 2: is taking a deep breath saying, finally, finally you have
[1:11:45] Speaker 2: given me space where I can refine, where I can make.
[1:11:49] Speaker 2: It is like a quarry site where I can begin
[1:11:52] Speaker 2: to chisel things. These vessels that will become vessels unto honor.
[1:11:56] Speaker 2: Can you pray in one minute and say, God, I
[1:11:59] Speaker 2: am available. Just pray that one prayer. Turn it to prayer.
[1:12:02] Speaker 2: Turn it into prayer. Forget about what you want to receive. Things, money,
[1:12:06] Speaker 2: leave that one. We'll deal with that later. Now we're
[1:12:10] Speaker 2: talking kingdom and the church. In Jesus' name we pray.
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: In Jesus' name we pray. Say in the name of Jesus.
[1:12:32] Speaker 2: From today, I become a restraining force for the reign
[1:12:39] Speaker 2: of evil. Say from today, I become a restraining force
[1:12:45] Speaker 2: for the reign of evil. Under my watch, evil will
[1:12:49] Speaker 2: not grow. Under my watch, darkness will not reign. That's
[1:12:58] Speaker 2: the orientation. Listen, listen, listen to me. So when you
[1:13:02] Speaker 2: are going to church on Sunday, you are not a
[1:13:06] Speaker 2: member of so-so-so church just going to ease guilt. You
[1:13:11] Speaker 2: are that restraining force going to be equipped. Are we together?
[1:13:16] Speaker 2: To be fired every day. Every night, every day, you
[1:13:21] Speaker 2: are praying the force that restrains. See the army of
[1:13:35] Speaker 2: the Lord Marching in the name of Jehovah Jehovah Where
[1:13:45] Speaker 2: the army of the Lord Marching in the name of
[1:13:50] Speaker 2: Jehovah Hallelujah I truly see an army rising from this place.
[1:13:59] Speaker 2: Men and women who will understand prayer. And they will
[1:14:02] Speaker 2: give themselves to it. And God will begin to use
[1:14:05] Speaker 2: you from where you are. You will do wonders for
[1:14:07] Speaker 2: the kingdom. You'll become God's restraining force. That every time
[1:14:12] Speaker 2: evil is plotting something over the east of the Niger.
[1:14:15] Speaker 2: They become frustrated when they remember you are still alive.
[1:14:19] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus. Please sit. Please sit.
[1:14:22] Speaker 1: Number two.
[1:14:23] Speaker 2: The second assignment of the church, soul winning and global missions.
[1:14:28] Speaker 2: Let's write. Soul winning.
[1:14:30] Speaker 1: I already sense the water being stirred in this place.
[1:14:33] Speaker 2: So let me just quickly. Soul winning and global missions.
[1:14:38] Speaker 2: Reaching the unreached is the assignment of the church. Not
[1:14:42] Speaker 2: the assignment of evangelists. The assignment of the church. Don't
[1:14:47] Speaker 2: leave soul winning to evangelists. Do you know how many
[1:14:51] Speaker 2: evangelists were recognized in the Bible? So if you wait
[1:14:54] Speaker 2: for everyone called into the office of an evangelist alone
[1:14:58] Speaker 2: to do the work, even if it will take a
[1:15:00] Speaker 2: thousand years.
[1:15:01] Speaker 1: It will not cover ground.
[1:15:02] Speaker 2: There's 8.6 billion people there about in the earth right now. 8.6 billion.
[1:15:08] Speaker 2: Christianity registered bishops statistically is just about 2.6. That means
[1:15:13] Speaker 2: there's still about minus that how many? There's about 6
[1:15:17] Speaker 2: billion people. 6 billion people with all the crusades, evangelism.
[1:15:23] Speaker 1: There's no reason we should fight.
[1:15:25] Speaker 2: There's still a lot to do if we are serious.
[1:15:30] Speaker 2: A lot to do. 8.6 billion and there's still 6 billion.
[1:15:37] Speaker 2: And yet the Bible says until this gospel of the
[1:15:39] Speaker 2: kingdom is preached as a witness to all nations, then
[1:15:43] Speaker 2: the end will come.
[1:15:44] Speaker 1: Are you seeing that?
[1:15:45] Speaker 2: We are trying, but we need to trust God for
[1:15:47] Speaker 2: accelerated systems to take the gospel to the nations. Because
[1:15:52] Speaker 2: waiting for only one man to come and preach to
[1:15:55] Speaker 2: thousands on a crusade ground, as wonderful as that is,
[1:15:59] Speaker 2: that strategy will stress the one man and it will
[1:16:01] Speaker 2: not get the job done.
[1:16:02] Speaker 1: Renard Bonquet did his best.
[1:16:04] Speaker 2: There's still a six billion gap. that the Umar Al-Qaeda
[1:16:07] Speaker 2: did its best, there's still a six billion gap. We
[1:16:10] Speaker 2: are doing our best. The gap, it looks like it's
[1:16:12] Speaker 2: not closing. That means there needs to be more people.
[1:16:16] Speaker 2: The consciousness of winning souls.
[1:16:19] Speaker 1: Let me tell you this.
[1:16:20] Speaker 2: If everybody in this place was serious about soul winning,
[1:16:25] Speaker 2: one per day, one per week, you'll be surprised. Look
[1:16:28] Speaker 2: at the thousands of people who are here. One per day,
[1:16:31] Speaker 2: one per week. But we talk about it in church
[1:16:33] Speaker 2: and say it's true, but we don't do anything because
[1:16:35] Speaker 2: it must be a passion. If you are truly the church,
[1:16:40] Speaker 2: you must be about the business of soul winning. Soul winning.
[1:16:45] Speaker 2: Harvesting men. The Bible calls every unbeliever a harvest.
[1:16:49] Speaker 1: Ripe enough.
[1:16:51] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus in this place, I believe
[1:16:53] Speaker 2: that there are people who will receive the burden of
[1:16:55] Speaker 2: soul winning and evangelism in a way that wins. And
[1:17:00] Speaker 2: I pray for you, whatever you need as you're equipping
[1:17:03] Speaker 2: to be effective in soul winning, may God make it
[1:17:06] Speaker 2: available unto you.
[1:17:08] Speaker 1: Listen to me.
[1:17:10] Speaker 2: I thank God for what the Anglican Communion is doing,
[1:17:13] Speaker 2: like these programs. But let me challenge every denomination and everyone,
[1:17:17] Speaker 2: every man of God, come up with an intentional program
[1:17:21] Speaker 2: for soul winning.
[1:17:22] Speaker 1: Don't wait for just one, two people who come on Sunday.
[1:17:25] Speaker 2: Thank God. But the truth is that our society still
[1:17:28] Speaker 2: has people who are not saved. And do you know
[1:17:31] Speaker 2: because of the times we live in, you can't go
[1:17:34] Speaker 2: and knock on someone's door now. They can arrest you.
[1:17:36] Speaker 2: Before you could have done that easily. But times have changed.
[1:17:40] Speaker 2: The person can sue you and say, a terrorist disturbed
[1:17:42] Speaker 2: me a day before your arrival.
[1:17:44] Speaker 1: And I thought you were a terrorist.
[1:17:47] Speaker 2: You can't go and stop another person's wife and you're
[1:17:49] Speaker 2: talking to her about Jesus.
[1:17:50] Speaker 1: The man can say you want to carry his wife and.
[1:17:52] Speaker 2: You go to jail. So we need to trust God
[1:17:54] Speaker 2: for intelligence. Someone say intelligence. I'm telling you, winning souls
[1:17:59] Speaker 2: one by one by one will not get the job done.
[1:18:02] Speaker 2: We need to step into a spiritual mechanized system. Of
[1:18:06] Speaker 2: soul winning. The same way we did. An analog way
[1:18:10] Speaker 2: of farming. And it stressed people. They died in the farms.
[1:18:13] Speaker 2: Today you can literally. With mechanized technology. You see. If
[1:18:18] Speaker 2: it is true that the souls are a harvest. Then
[1:18:20] Speaker 2: we must receive the equivalent. Of that mechanized intelligence in
[1:18:23] Speaker 2: the spirit. There must be a way of winning nations
[1:18:26] Speaker 2: in one day. Who believes that? Assignment number three. Of
[1:18:31] Speaker 2: the church. The third assignment of the church. Maturity and
[1:18:36] Speaker 2: the transformation of the saints. So within the church, we
[1:18:40] Speaker 2: have an assignment to ourselves. To ourselves. Maturity and the
[1:18:46] Speaker 2: transformation of the saints. And this happens. wait till tomorrow
[1:18:51] Speaker 2: when we are discussing, we are doing an extra on
[1:18:53] Speaker 2: the church. One of the things you would see is
[1:18:56] Speaker 2: that you cannot attain unto maturity except you understand doctrine. Doctrine. Doctrine.
[1:19:03] Speaker 2: You understand the ways of the kingdom. Believers cannot attain
[1:19:07] Speaker 2: unto maturity if we just teach what we want. And
[1:19:10] Speaker 2: people just shout amen to everything we want. You see,
[1:19:14] Speaker 2: the construct of the average believer's understanding affects the weight
[1:19:19] Speaker 2: of glory they can carry. So we can have many
[1:19:23] Speaker 2: faithful members. But they are largely babes in the spirit.
[1:19:27] Speaker 2: Because they have not grown.
[1:19:28] Speaker 1: As little born children. Desire the sincere.
[1:19:31] Speaker 2: Milk of the word. That by it you may grow.
[1:19:34] Speaker 2: And that from a child. Thou has known the holy scripture.
[1:19:37] Speaker 2: Which is able to make you wise unto salvation. And
[1:19:40] Speaker 2: now I commend you to God. And to the word
[1:19:42] Speaker 2: of his grace. Which is able to build you up.
[1:19:44] Speaker 2: And to give you an inheritance. Among them that are sanctified.
[1:19:47] Speaker 2: The maturity of the saints. Thank God for conferences like
[1:19:51] Speaker 2: this bishop. Because this is what he's achieving. We're taking
[1:19:54] Speaker 2: a subject for consideration and we're driving it into the
[1:19:57] Speaker 2: spirits of men. Most of these people seated also have
[1:20:01] Speaker 2: congregations or people that look up to them. So as
[1:20:04] Speaker 2: we're selling the idea, we're not only salvaging the ones hearing,
[1:20:08] Speaker 2: but we're salvaging the ones who are connected to them.
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: Everybody say amen. Let me give you number four very quickly.
[1:20:16] Speaker 1: Number four.
[1:20:18] Speaker 2: The fourth assignment of the church is to be a
[1:20:21] Speaker 2: revelation and a representation of the invisible God. Living epistles,
[1:20:27] Speaker 2: you call it.
[1:20:28] Speaker 1: In character and wisdom.
[1:20:31] Speaker 2: The fourth assignment of the church, we are supposed to
[1:20:34] Speaker 2: be the face of Jesus. A revelation and a representation
[1:20:40] Speaker 2: of the invisible God. The Bible calls us living epistles.
[1:20:44] Speaker 2: And that the way we reveal and represent God is
[1:20:47] Speaker 2: in character and wisdom.
[1:20:49] Speaker 1: Someone shout character. Say it again, say character.
[1:20:53] Speaker 2: That means the God they cannot see, they should be
[1:20:57] Speaker 2: able to describe him looking at his son that they
[1:21:00] Speaker 2: can see. Are we together? You should not have to
[1:21:04] Speaker 2: tell people you are a man of God for them
[1:21:06] Speaker 2: to respect you.
[1:21:07] Speaker 1: The character of the Spirit furnished within you.
[1:21:10] Speaker 2: The fruit of the Spirit, that you become a living epistle.
[1:21:14] Speaker 1: Is somebody learning?
[1:21:16] Speaker 2: A living epistle known and read by many. It's an assignment.
[1:21:23] Speaker 2: Trusting God for grace to live right is not just
[1:21:26] Speaker 2: something you are doing for your personal benefit. It is
[1:21:29] Speaker 2: an assignment. integrity is an assignment. Character is an assignment.
[1:21:36] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning now? Because you can be the only
[1:21:40] Speaker 2: Bible somebody has to read. That person cannot access Bible
[1:21:44] Speaker 2: in their homes, but you are the Bible they can see.
[1:21:48] Speaker 2: And for one who has the Bible in their house,
[1:21:50] Speaker 2: but they open it and don't understand it, God uses
[1:21:53] Speaker 2: you to explain what they read at home. You become
[1:21:56] Speaker 2: an explanation to their Bible study. To represent God. Now
[1:22:02] Speaker 2: let me tell you this. Everybody please look at me.
[1:22:06] Speaker 2: If you were the only Christian. In the east. Will
[1:22:10] Speaker 2: many want to come to Jesus by looking at your life?
[1:22:13] Speaker 2: That's a question you need to answer.
[1:22:15] Speaker 1: It's a simple but profound question.
[1:22:17] Speaker 2: If you were the only Christian, that means if there
[1:22:20] Speaker 2: was no other Christian allowed, and you were the only Christian,
[1:22:24] Speaker 2: and everybody in the East had to choose Jesus by
[1:22:28] Speaker 2: looking at your life, will many come to Jesus?
[1:22:31] Speaker 1: If the answer is no, then there is a call
[1:22:34] Speaker 1: to retrace your step.
[1:22:36] Speaker 2: Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Don't just talk about him. Don't just pray
[1:22:40] Speaker 2: to him. You are representing him. And the most visible
[1:22:43] Speaker 2: way to represent Jesus is to allow his life and
[1:22:47] Speaker 2: his character find expression in you. That includes us ministers
[1:22:51] Speaker 2: of the gospel and it includes everyone.
[1:22:53] Speaker 1: Don't shout Jesus and be the first to insult someone.
[1:22:56] Speaker 2: You turn your hand and insult someone and turn and
[1:22:59] Speaker 2: insult your wife and she says, ah pastor, yes I
[1:23:01] Speaker 2: said it. And don't say we are like that. We
[1:23:06] Speaker 2: are angry people in our family. Even God knows. That's
[1:23:09] Speaker 2: why he gave Jesus. He knows.
[1:23:11] Speaker 1: Now that he's given.
[1:23:12] Speaker 2: Jesus, what are you doing about it? Character. Now I'm
[1:23:18] Speaker 2: not condemning you. You get the idea? But it's important
[1:23:21] Speaker 2: to allow the character of the Spirit to find expression
[1:23:24] Speaker 2: in you.
[1:23:25] Speaker 1: Number five. The fifth assignment. I'll stop at six. What
[1:23:33] Speaker 1: is the fifth assignment of the church?
[1:23:36] Speaker 2: To be revealers and dispensers of God's supernatural power.
[1:23:42] Speaker 1: It's an assignment.
[1:23:43] Speaker 2: To be the revealers of his power and the dispensers
[1:23:48] Speaker 2: of God's supernatural power. And to use that power to
[1:23:52] Speaker 2: bring supernatural solutions. Solutions that prove that Jesus is Lord
[1:23:58] Speaker 2: and solutions that reveal his love to the nations. Acts
[1:24:03] Speaker 2: 10 38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth. With the
[1:24:08] Speaker 2: Holy Ghost and with power. He went about doing good.
[1:24:12] Speaker 2: Healing all day that were oppressed of the devil. Everybody
[1:24:15] Speaker 2: say the supernatural. Say power.
[1:24:19] Speaker 1: Shout it.
[1:24:19] Speaker 2: Say the supernatural. Say power.
[1:24:22] Speaker 1: Let me tell you this. A powerless church would have.
[1:24:26] Speaker 2: Failed in one of her mandates to the nation. Because
[1:24:29] Speaker 2: there are solutions that science cannot provide. Are we together?
[1:24:33] Speaker 2: Machines can diagnose sicknesses, but it cannot diagnose demons. Machines
[1:24:40] Speaker 2: cannot diagnose causes. It cannot diagnose yokes. It can only
[1:24:45] Speaker 2: diagnose the effect. So you need a generation of men
[1:24:49] Speaker 2: and women who carry power. Not just men of God. Believers. Power.
[1:24:54] Speaker 1: Supernatural power.
[1:24:55] Speaker 2: To heal. To deliver. To set free. Are we together?
[1:24:59] Speaker 2: To speak God's counsel to the nations. That someone comes
[1:25:02] Speaker 2: to you and says, Sir, I know you are not
[1:25:04] Speaker 2: a pastor, but you are a believer. My family is
[1:25:07] Speaker 2: going through all kinds of things. And you say in
[1:25:09] Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, I stand as a king and
[1:25:12] Speaker 2: a priest that I am. And I make declarations over
[1:25:15] Speaker 2: your life. Let favor come. Let liftings come. And they
[1:25:19] Speaker 2: say amen to you. You are not pastor anything. Not
[1:25:22] Speaker 2: running any church. But you are a believer who understands
[1:25:25] Speaker 2: you are part of the church. You have dispensed the
[1:25:27] Speaker 2: power of God. And by the next day, one of
[1:25:30] Speaker 2: our lovely people sent me a text this morning.
[1:25:33] Speaker 1: You know, on our way coming. He sent me a
[1:25:36] Speaker 1: text this morning and he said.
[1:25:39] Speaker 2: He said, I prayed for someone and the person, it
[1:25:41] Speaker 2: was a very dramatic miracle. And he was surprised and
[1:25:44] Speaker 2: he was so impressed that he had grown to a
[1:25:47] Speaker 2: point that, I mean, he could pray and get this miracle.
[1:25:50] Speaker 2: And he said, well, it may not mean much to you,
[1:25:53] Speaker 2: but honestly to me, this thing is working. And I said, no,
[1:25:56] Speaker 2: it means much to me because if it happens only
[1:25:59] Speaker 2: with my life, I've failed. The joy is that it
[1:26:03] Speaker 2: also goes to you. For this promise is unto you
[1:26:06] Speaker 2: and to your children and to your children's children. To
[1:26:09] Speaker 2: as many as are far off. That's why when we
[1:26:13] Speaker 2: hold programs like this, we also allow the power of God,
[1:26:17] Speaker 2: the little that is placed upon our lives, to also
[1:26:19] Speaker 2: be extended to as many who are willing to receive.
[1:26:22] Speaker 2: Not just supernatural solutions, but the grace to replicate it.
[1:26:26] Speaker 2: And someone is carrying that grace. In the name of Jesus,
[1:26:29] Speaker 2: I say to you, someone is carrying that grace. That
[1:26:33] Speaker 2: at the end of this conference, you will go back
[1:26:35] Speaker 2: and inferno a fire. You will speak and your words
[1:26:39] Speaker 2: will be like fire. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[1:26:43] Speaker 2: Everybody say power. Say miracles.
[1:26:46] Speaker 1: Say signs.
[1:26:47] Speaker 2: Say wonders. Say power.
[1:26:49] Speaker 1: Say miracles. Say signs. Say wonders. One more time.
[1:26:53] Speaker 2: Say power. Say miracles. Say signs. Say wonders. How many
[1:27:00] Speaker 2: of Reverend Uma Okai's messages can you remember? Very few.
[1:27:07] Speaker 2: But how many miracles through his life can you remember?
[1:27:10] Speaker 1: Many.
[1:27:13] Speaker 2: Let me tell you what the miraculous does. It imprints
[1:27:16] Speaker 2: upon the minds of people the reality of a God
[1:27:20] Speaker 2: who is alive. Miracles are powerful. They go beyond showing
[1:27:25] Speaker 2: that the vessel is anointed. They remind people that there
[1:27:28] Speaker 2: is a God. Are we together? When you watch a
[1:27:32] Speaker 2: real miracle happen, whether you believe in God or not,
[1:27:35] Speaker 2: your heart will not let you be till you go
[1:27:37] Speaker 2: back home. This man got up from this wheelchair. I
[1:27:40] Speaker 2: saw it. This dead baby came back to life. I
[1:27:44] Speaker 2: saw it. This stage 4 cancer. I saw it. Especially
[1:27:48] Speaker 2: if you are a doctor. Do you know the reason
[1:27:51] Speaker 2: why preaching the gospel is very slow? We understand the message.
[1:27:55] Speaker 2: But we did not receive the power that should back
[1:27:57] Speaker 2: the message. Romans 15 19. Don't forget this scripture. We
[1:28:02] Speaker 2: are wrapping up. 15 19. Please give it to us.
[1:28:07] Speaker 2: Romans 15 19. Someone you have the correct message. but
[1:28:11] Speaker 2: you need power. Can we read this? Will you see it?
[1:28:14] Speaker 1: One to go.
[1:28:15] Speaker 2: By the power of, by the power of miraculous signs
[1:28:19] Speaker 2: and wonders and by the power of God's spirit. How
[1:28:23] Speaker 2: did we get this version? Let's go back to KJV
[1:28:26] Speaker 2: or any version. My people have given me another version. Media.
[1:28:31] Speaker 1: KJV or anyone at all.
[1:28:33] Speaker 2: Okay, beautiful. I'm reading something else here. Alright, through mighty
[1:28:37] Speaker 2: signs and wonders and by the power of the Spirit
[1:28:40] Speaker 2: of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about unto Illyricum,
[1:28:45] Speaker 2: I have fully preached. The gospel is not fully preached
[1:28:49] Speaker 2: until the power component is there. You can preach a
[1:28:51] Speaker 2: sincere message. Don't just say God heals. Show that He heals.
[1:28:56] Speaker 2: Don't just say God lifts. Show that He lifts. There
[1:29:00] Speaker 2: is a generation that wants to see, not just to hear.
[1:29:04] Speaker 2: The Bible said, taste and see that the Lord is good.
[1:29:07] Speaker 2: I'm praying for someone in the name of Jesus from
[1:29:10] Speaker 2: the men of God and then everyone across. Nobody will
[1:29:13] Speaker 2: doubt your gospel from today. Listen, your gospel will not
[1:29:19] Speaker 2: only be a gospel of truth, it will be a
[1:29:21] Speaker 2: gospel of power. that while you are speaking the sick
[1:29:25] Speaker 2: will be healed while you are speaking oppressed will be
[1:29:28] Speaker 2: delivered in the name of jesus christ.
[1:29:31] Speaker 1: Listen i assure you some of you as.
[1:29:34] Speaker 2: You get back home just you are not even preaching
[1:29:36] Speaker 2: you are talking to someone the next thing the demons
[1:29:39] Speaker 2: will leave them the troubles will leave them and they
[1:29:42] Speaker 2: will say come let us go to the house of
[1:29:45] Speaker 2: your god i want to serve your god i speak.
[1:29:48] Speaker 1: It over you in the name of jesus say power
[1:29:53] Speaker 1: Say miracles. Say signs. Say wonders.
[1:29:58] Speaker 2: Let me tell you this. The generation you have been
[1:30:01] Speaker 2: called to serve are too busy to hear you. You
[1:30:05] Speaker 2: must know how to attract their attention. Asking them to
[1:30:09] Speaker 2: give you attention will be a waste of time. There's
[1:30:11] Speaker 2: no generation that has been busier than this generation. There
[1:30:15] Speaker 2: are apps.
[1:30:16] Speaker 1: There are social media.
[1:30:17] Speaker 2: There's programs. So when you say, come, I have something
[1:30:20] Speaker 2: to tell you, you're wasting your time. To take fire, burning.
[1:30:25] Speaker 2: The Bible says where the carcasses are. When God wanted
[1:30:30] Speaker 2: to attract Moses, he sets the bush on fire. Breathe, Lord, breathe. Breathe, Lord, breathe.
[1:30:43] Speaker 2: Breathe upon my life. Breathe, Lord, breathe. Breathe, Lord, breathe.
[1:30:53] Speaker 2: Breathe upon my life. Listen. When God showed me years
[1:30:59] Speaker 2: ago that he would be sending me to the nations,
[1:31:01] Speaker 2: I prayed a prayer. I read the story of men
[1:31:04] Speaker 2: like T.L. Osborne. I said, Lord, you can trust that
[1:31:07] Speaker 2: I will not pervert the truth, but I need results.
[1:31:11] Speaker 2: You can't send me to people and governments and tribes
[1:31:13] Speaker 2: and nations. Some of these people have heard what I.
[1:31:16] Speaker 1: Want to say.
[1:31:17] Speaker 2: But they want to see what they've not seen before.
[1:31:20] Speaker 2: Let me tell you, I can tell you firsthand, by
[1:31:23] Speaker 2: the mercy of God, power makes the business of soul
[1:31:26] Speaker 2: winning easy. Something happens to men when they see a
[1:31:30] Speaker 2: demonstration of the grace of God in a way incontestable
[1:31:35] Speaker 2: and a way undeniable. Go and read the story of
[1:31:39] Speaker 2: our fathers of faith. Many of them were not that educated.
[1:31:42] Speaker 2: They did not know Greek and Hebrew and Aramaic and Latin.
[1:31:46] Speaker 1: They didn't know whether church.
[1:31:47] Speaker 2: Was called ecclesia. They would just come and tell you
[1:31:49] Speaker 2: that Jesus is the way. He is the truth.
[1:31:52] Speaker 1: He is the life.
[1:31:53] Speaker 2: No man comes to the father before they are done speaking.
[1:31:57] Speaker 2: Someone rises from the wheelchair before they are done speaking.
[1:32:01] Speaker 2: Someone is free from madness of 10 years. How do
[1:32:04] Speaker 2: you deny that? Let me tell you this. There's no
[1:32:07] Speaker 2: technology that has been invented that makes people to ignore
[1:32:11] Speaker 2: power when they see it. East of the Niger. Today
[1:32:18] Speaker 2: and tomorrow we are going to be crying for a
[1:32:20] Speaker 2: restoration of power. I'm telling you.
[1:32:23] Speaker 1: Men of God.
[1:32:24] Speaker 2: We need to pray. This assumed power we have. The
[1:32:28] Speaker 2: nations have refused to recognize it. You know I'm anointed.
[1:32:31] Speaker 2: They can't see it sir. It's like a woman saying,
[1:32:35] Speaker 2: I'm nine months pregnant. You know.
[1:32:38] Speaker 1: Shouldn't it be that visible?
[1:32:40] Speaker 2: Power. Genuine power. That by Sunday when you mount the pulpit,
[1:32:48] Speaker 2: you say, let's just lift our hands to worship. And
[1:32:51] Speaker 2: someone will tell you that right from... Ah, my God,
[1:32:54] Speaker 2: my God. May God restore power. This is why I came.
[1:32:59] Speaker 2: This is my assignment. I cannot preach a gospel that
[1:33:02] Speaker 2: does not have power.
[1:33:04] Speaker 1: No, sir.
[1:33:05] Speaker 2: I have seen the power of God. I know what
[1:33:08] Speaker 2: it can do. I have seen the power of God.
[1:33:14] Speaker 2: Worship us. Don't just carry songs. Carry power. Carry power.
[1:33:20] Speaker 2: That as you open up your mouth to sing. Mantles
[1:33:26] Speaker 2: of power. Mantles of grace. I see them resting in
[1:33:29] Speaker 2: this place. Mantles of wisdom. Mantles of grace. Oh, I
[1:33:49] Speaker 2: see them resting.
[1:33:51] Speaker 1: In this place.
[1:33:53] Speaker 2: Let me speak to the young people here. The east
[1:33:56] Speaker 2: will not hear you. They are too busy solving their problems.
[1:34:01] Speaker 2: Ask God for power.
[1:34:04] Speaker 1: Power. Let me tell you.
[1:34:07] Speaker 2: Oh, we need an emergence of men and women who
[1:34:10] Speaker 2: carry power. That they tell you a woman is dying.
[1:34:15] Speaker 2: She's dried up. Mama is already dying. And they say, Jesus,
[1:34:19] Speaker 2: can you do something? And you step in and say,
[1:34:22] Speaker 2: the life of God flows through me. Mama, give me
[1:34:25] Speaker 2: your hands. And you lift her up. Lift her up.
[1:34:29] Speaker 2: Lift her up. Oh, I see them resting in this place. Listen,
[1:34:45] Speaker 2: let me tell you this. I don't mean to brag.
[1:34:48] Speaker 2: I'm not one person who likes talking about these things.
[1:34:51] Speaker 2: But I have seen miracles. And I've seen what it
[1:34:54] Speaker 2: has done to the hearts of men. I've seen the
[1:34:57] Speaker 2: most rebellious men and families. Intellectuals who vow. Forget about
[1:35:03] Speaker 2: this Jesus thing. Not when you see power. It brings
[1:35:06] Speaker 2: arguments to silence. I'm telling you. Telling you. Telling you.
[1:35:14] Speaker 2: How do you explain a child that cannot talk, cannot walk,
[1:35:18] Speaker 2: cannot see, autistic, and in one moment, he's running and
[1:35:23] Speaker 2: talking and calling his father.
[1:35:25] Speaker 1: How do you explain that? Let me tell you the truth.
[1:35:31] Speaker 2: Gentlemen. Cry for power. I tell you a secret. Cry
[1:35:36] Speaker 2: for power. Not power to throw people down. Power to
[1:35:41] Speaker 2: influence outcomes. That you can stand over Enugu, over Nambra
[1:35:46] Speaker 2: and say, by this time tomorrow.
[1:35:49] Speaker 1: By this time tomorrow. Let's rise up on your feet.
[1:36:02] Speaker 2: Let's pray. We'll continue tomorrow. But let's pray for five minutes.
[1:36:09] Speaker 2: Let's pray for five minutes. Look at me.
[1:37:04] Speaker 1: Do you still believe the blind can see? No, no, no, no, no.
[1:37:09] Speaker 1: I'm not asking everybody.
[1:37:10] Speaker 2: I'm asking you.
[1:37:11] Speaker 1: Do you still believe the blind can see?
[1:37:15] Speaker 2: Do you still believe the deaf can hear? Or have
[1:37:19] Speaker 2: you forgotten the God of wonders? Let me introduce the
[1:37:22] Speaker 2: God of power. The God of power. You have seen
[1:37:26] Speaker 2: the God of wisdom. But behold the God of power.
[1:37:30] Speaker 2: Our Lord God. Thou hast made the heavens and the
[1:37:33] Speaker 2: earth by thy great power. Do you still believe God
[1:37:41] Speaker 2: raises the dead? Do you still believe God can change
[1:37:47] Speaker 2: a hardened.
[1:37:53] Speaker 1: Heart?
[1:37:55] Speaker 2: We want to hear testimonies of the supernatural. Not once
[1:37:59] Speaker 2: a year. Not once a month. Every day. That a
[1:38:03] Speaker 2: dead man just rose up. Not stage managed. Not assumed.
[1:38:11] Speaker 2: Then mama got up from her bed. Pray. Pray in
[1:38:20] Speaker 2: the spirit. We'll wrap up now. Lift your voice and
[1:38:23] Speaker 2: pray someone. we cry for power we cry for power
[1:38:37] Speaker 2: the church that will demonstrate the god of power Hallelujah.
[1:38:45] Speaker 1: Say father.
[1:38:47] Speaker 2: Say father.
[1:38:47] Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
[1:38:49] Speaker 2: I am available. Let your power.
[1:38:51] Speaker 1: Rest upon my destiny.
[1:38:52] Speaker 2: Open your mouth and pray. I'm available, available, available. Let
[1:39:21] Speaker 2: your power rest upon my destiny. Power in the marketplace.
[1:39:41] Speaker 2: Power in government. Power in ministry. Pastors, can we cry
[1:39:48] Speaker 2: for power? Enough of stories. Enough of stories. Can we
[1:39:52] Speaker 2: genuinely cry for power? In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.
[1:40:26] Speaker 2: In Jesus' victorious name, we pray. Please let me encourage you.
[1:40:33] Speaker 2: Fire is burning in this place. Tomorrow morning, throughout the
[1:40:41] Speaker 2: sessions morning and then the evening, please make sure you participate.
[1:40:45] Speaker 2: There's something I want to show you before we do
[1:40:49] Speaker 2: the impartation. Something has to rest upon you. Honestly. Maybe
[1:40:55] Speaker 2: not everybody. But something has to rest upon you. You
[1:41:00] Speaker 2: shouldn't just wait until next year. And then you come
[1:41:04] Speaker 2: again to register the attendance. Someone say no way. That
[1:41:08] Speaker 2: you carry grace. You carry grace. There are destinies that
[1:41:13] Speaker 2: are depending on the power that you receive. Don't let
[1:41:16] Speaker 2: them die. Don't let them die. Don't let them die.
[1:41:21] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Let's wrap up
[1:41:26] Speaker 2: for now. Tomorrow I'll be showing you a few things
[1:41:29] Speaker 2: about the church. I will show you why we are
[1:41:31] Speaker 2: not experiencing the power of God. I will show you
[1:41:34] Speaker 2: something God opened my eyes to see. Bishop, thank you.
[1:41:39] Speaker 2: All I can tell you is thank you for the
[1:41:43] Speaker 2: discernment to have trapped this topic. It is the most
[1:41:46] Speaker 2: relevant topic for the hour. Can I do the altar call? Hallelujah.
[1:41:53] Speaker 2: Please let me have your attention for one minute. The
[1:41:58] Speaker 2: foundation for a glorious church is that you submit yourself
[1:42:03] Speaker 2: to the head of the church who is Christ. You
[1:42:06] Speaker 2: can get into a building as a member of the church,
[1:42:10] Speaker 2: but if you are not submitted to the head of
[1:42:12] Speaker 2: the church, any part of me that is not connected
[1:42:17] Speaker 2: to my body is not part of my body. Are
[1:42:20] Speaker 2: we together? You can't carry another person's lever and say
[1:42:23] Speaker 2: it's my own. No. If it's connected, it has to
[1:42:25] Speaker 2: be connected and then it's regulated by my head. Many
[1:42:31] Speaker 2: of us are here. You attend church, but you are
[1:42:35] Speaker 2: here to truly make that decision for Jesus. Wherever you are,
[1:42:40] Speaker 2: We are in a day where we don't play games again.
[1:42:43] Speaker 2: We don't cajole people. Fire is burning across the nations.
[1:42:48] Speaker 2: There used to be a song we sang those days.
[1:42:50] Speaker 1: All over the world.
[1:42:53] Speaker 2: You know the song here?
[1:42:54] Speaker 1: The spirit is moving.
[1:42:57] Speaker 2: All over the world. As the prophet said it should be.
[1:43:02] Speaker 2: All over the world. There's a mighty revelation. Of the
[1:43:08] Speaker 2: glory of the Lord. As the waters cover the sea.
[1:43:13] Speaker 2: So I'm going to count one to five. Please make
[1:43:16] Speaker 2: sure you don't just run out because you are emotional.
[1:43:19] Speaker 2: Make sure you are serious. I'm calling on a brother,
[1:43:22] Speaker 2: a sister. Someone who is saying, apostle, bishop. I truly
[1:43:28] Speaker 2: want to make it right with Jesus.
[1:43:30] Speaker 1: Not just that you see others coming and then you
[1:43:32] Speaker 1: run out.
[1:43:32] Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. Please, no jokes, no games. This
[1:43:35] Speaker 2: is very serious. But to someone here who is an apostle,
[1:43:39] Speaker 2: I heard you and I heard God through you. I
[1:43:41] Speaker 2: know that I need to become part of the church.
[1:43:44] Speaker 2: If you are not in Christ, you are not part
[1:43:47] Speaker 2: of the church.
[1:43:48] Speaker 1: And I'm calling on.
[1:43:49] Speaker 2: Someone who is saying, I want to rededicate my life
[1:43:52] Speaker 2: to Jesus. Two calls in one. I'll count one to five.
[1:43:56] Speaker 2: Wherever you are, you'll begin to run and come and
[1:43:59] Speaker 2: stand here. By the fifth count, you should be standing here.
[1:44:01] Speaker 2: No fear, no shame. Don't wait for anyone to be
[1:44:04] Speaker 2: the first. Wherever you are, I'll begin to count right now.
[1:44:08] Speaker 2: Please leave your seat and run.
[1:44:10] Speaker 1: Come and stand.
[1:44:11] Speaker 2: One.
[1:44:12] Speaker 1: Let's celebrate them as they come. Run to Jesus. You
[1:44:19] Speaker 1: want to make it right with Jesus.
[1:44:21] Speaker 2: Yes, your chaps.
[1:44:22] Speaker 1: I see you coming from everywhere.
[1:44:24] Speaker 2: Please don't kneel.
[1:44:25] Speaker 1: Stand so that there can be space for others.
[1:44:28] Speaker 2: Amen. two let's celebrate them as they come apostle i'm
[1:44:43] Speaker 2: coming to jesus coming to jesus i need to make
[1:44:49] Speaker 2: it right with jesus once and for all three please
[1:44:53] Speaker 2: come if you're coming make haste to those who are
[1:44:55] Speaker 2: connected across the globe and connected across all the social
[1:45:00] Speaker 2: media platforms Please make sure you open up your heart
[1:45:04] Speaker 2: and participate in making this decision.
[1:45:07] Speaker 1: We have to get it right.
[1:45:08] Speaker 2: Please come.
[1:45:10] Speaker 1: Come. Four. Young and old.
[1:45:13] Speaker 2: Male, female.
[1:45:16] Speaker 1: Come.
[1:45:29] Speaker 2: Five.
[1:45:30] Speaker 1: Final count.
[1:45:33] Speaker 2: If you're coming, join them quickly. Apostle, I think I'm
[1:45:37] Speaker 2: a good person, but I'm not sure if I'm saved
[1:45:39] Speaker 2: or not. Join them. You can have the assurance of
[1:45:41] Speaker 2: salvation once and for all. Can we celebrate Jesus for
[1:45:44] Speaker 2: this harvest? Hallelujah. Celebrate Jesus for this. Now, please look
[1:45:52] Speaker 2: at me, all of you. The Bible says, as many
[1:45:57] Speaker 2: who will come to him, he will in no wise
[1:46:00] Speaker 2: cast away. You have come to Jesus. I'd like you
[1:46:03] Speaker 2: to come with joy knowing that this will be the
[1:46:06] Speaker 2: beginning of a new season. Remember, I told you there
[1:46:10] Speaker 2: is a translation from the kingdom of darkness into the
[1:46:13] Speaker 2: kingdom of God's dear son.
[1:46:15] Speaker 1: That's what is about to happen to you right now.
[1:46:17] Speaker 2: No matter how your life has been, he's able to
[1:46:21] Speaker 2: give you a brand new life right now. Lift your
[1:46:24] Speaker 2: right hand high above your head. Say this as loud
[1:46:30] Speaker 2: and as clear as you are able to say, Lord Jesus.
[1:46:35] Speaker 2: That's right.
[1:46:35] Speaker 1: One more time.
