[3:43] Speaker 1: Very discerning even as we explore the world for a
[3:47] Speaker 1: few minutes tonight.
[3:50] Speaker 2: But let me start by appreciating everyone by the way.
[3:53] Speaker 1: I hope you know we have a global family following us,

[4:08] Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. God is moving mightily across the city of Leeds, Allelujah.
[4:15] Speaker 1: I really want to take a moment to honor. He's
[4:20] Speaker 1: a dear friend and brother. But every time we have
[4:24] Speaker 1: the opportunity to preach Jesus together as we travel across
[4:28] Speaker 1: the nations, I get so blessed and lifted.
[4:33] Speaker 2: And even though we've done this for a number of times,
[4:35] Speaker 2: we do not take His grace for granted.
[4:37] Speaker 1: Please help me celebrate a dear friend and brother, Pascal
[4:40] Speaker 1: Nathaniel Basis, thank you awesome moments in worship, Allelujah. Let
[4:49] Speaker 1: me appreciate all, particularly all the servants of God here represented.
[4:55] Speaker 1: I may not have the time to do justice to everyone,
[4:58] Speaker 1: but please know that we're house of We honor you,
[5:01] Speaker 1: We receive you as touching the grace that you carry.
[5:04] Speaker 1: The Lord bless you in Jesus' name. And particularly allow
[5:07] Speaker 1: me to just honor a few great men of God
[5:12] Speaker 1: who are here in our midst. I just want to
[5:14] Speaker 1: take a minute or two to acknowledge them. We have
[5:20] Speaker 1: Reverend Aquila and our meets.
[5:21] Speaker 2: God bless you.
[5:22] Speaker 1: Reverend Aquila, Thank you so very much. Pastor doctor Daily
[5:27] Speaker 1: usum kim Day, God bless you, sir, Thank you so
[5:30] Speaker 1: so much. Reverend Ike Wednesday, thank you so much.
[5:34] Speaker 2: Thank you. We honor you in the name of Jesus,
[5:37] Speaker 2: who is the son of the Living God.
[5:39] Speaker 1: Let me use this three to appreciate and acknowledge everyone
[5:43] Speaker 1: who is serving the purposes of the Kingdom in ministry,
[5:46] Speaker 1: and indeed everyone deserving of honor. Please know that we
[5:49] Speaker 1: love you, We honor you in Jesus' mighty name.
[5:53] Speaker 2: We pray.
[5:56] Speaker 1: Apostolic conferences like this seek to achieve a few things
[5:59] Speaker 1: that are want and to bring to our understanding before
[6:04] Speaker 1: we explore the word number one. Conferences like this give
[6:08] Speaker 1: us an opportunity to draw those who are.
[6:11] Speaker 2: Lost to Jesus.
[6:13] Speaker 1: It matters that we have people saved at every occasion
[6:17] Speaker 1: that time and chance allows. The Bible says that the
[6:20] Speaker 1: desire of God is that all men be saved, and
[6:24] Speaker 1: that they come onto the knowledge of the truth.
[6:27] Speaker 2: Number two.
[6:28] Speaker 1: Apostolic conferences like this give us an opportunity.
[6:32] Speaker 2: They provide a unique opportunity to grow in grace and
[6:36] Speaker 2: in the knowledge of the truth.
[6:38] Speaker 1: We grow in grace by our access to light superior
[6:44] Speaker 1: spiritual illumination.
[6:46] Speaker 2: The saints rise in the spirit. They transit from one
[6:50] Speaker 2: level of glory to another by light. As we behold
[6:55] Speaker 2: the world, we are changed. Allelujah.
[7:00] Speaker 1: Conferences like this allow us to experience the supernatural power
[7:06] Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, now the Lord
[7:08] Speaker 1: is that spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
[7:11] Speaker 1: there is liberty. He's liberating power to heal, to deliver,
[7:18] Speaker 1: to set free, to break all kinds of yokes and bondages.
[7:22] Speaker 1: If that sounds like your testimony, shouted believing amen. Apostolic
[7:29] Speaker 1: Conferences like this furtherm more, grant us an opportunity to
[7:33] Speaker 1: access graces. Impartations are real. I want you to know
[7:38] Speaker 1: that graces can be transferred from persons to persons. And
[7:44] Speaker 1: every time God sends us like this, he makes an
[7:47] Speaker 1: investment of his grace upon our lives. And when he
[7:51] Speaker 1: sends that word to Jacob, the intent is that it
[7:54] Speaker 1: be lighted upon Israel and praying for someone. The new
[7:57] Speaker 1: level of grace that you must access for the days
[8:00] Speaker 1: that are before you, may you receive them in the
[8:03] Speaker 1: course of this conference.
[8:05] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus.
[8:08] Speaker 1: Finally, Apostolic conferences like this provide for us an opportunity
[8:12] Speaker 1: to fellowship one with another. The Bible says, how good
[8:16] Speaker 1: and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity.
[8:20] Speaker 1: Among the many things that happened there, the Bible says,
[8:22] Speaker 1: there the Lord hath commanded the blessing even life Forevermore.
[8:28] Speaker 2: So, are you ready to receive all this tonight? We'll
[8:31] Speaker 2: be looking at a few things in the course of
[8:36] Speaker 2: this conference.
[8:37] Speaker 1: Today's finding the morning tomorrow, and then our final session
[8:41] Speaker 1: by evening.
[8:41] Speaker 2: And let me encourage you who are here and our
[8:45] Speaker 2: family following across the globe.
[8:46] Speaker 1: Please pay rapt attention to the ministry of the world,
[8:50] Speaker 1: because we are built when we understand the speakings of God.
[8:55] Speaker 2: Allelujah. Praise the name of the Lord.
[8:58] Speaker 1: For our discussion will be looking at Jude. Jude has
[9:02] Speaker 1: only one chapter, Jude chapter one, I would say, and
[9:06] Speaker 1: verse three Jude one and verse three. We'll be looking
[9:13] Speaker 1: at the series contending for the Faith, Contending for the Faith.
[9:19] Speaker 1: That will be a teaching series for this Sound of Revival,
[9:23] Speaker 1: Contending for the Faith, and tonight is part one. Will
[9:27] Speaker 1: be looking at the pilas of the Christian Faith. The
[9:30] Speaker 1: pilas of the Christian Faith, the very important teaching that
[9:35] Speaker 1: I wanted to pay attention to. Do we have this projected, Okay,
[9:39] Speaker 1: I have it here. Let me read it, Beloved, when
[9:43] Speaker 1: I gave all diligence to write onto you of the
[9:46] Speaker 1: common Salvation, he said, it was needful for me to
[9:50] Speaker 1: write onto you and exhort you that you should earnestly
[9:55] Speaker 1: contend for the faith which was once delivered onto the Saints.
[10:01] Speaker 1: That you earnestly contend for the faith which was once
[10:05] Speaker 1: delivered to the saints.
[10:08] Speaker 2: Allelujah. So we'll be considering a few questions.
[10:18] Speaker 1: Really I want to answer too, principal questions in this
[10:22] Speaker 1: discussion on the pillers of the Christian Faith. Number one
[10:27] Speaker 1: will be answering the question who is Jesus. It's important
[10:31] Speaker 1: for us to understand the person Jesus. We're all God
[10:36] Speaker 1: that here the Bible says, onto the Lord shall the
[10:38] Speaker 1: gathering of his people be.
[10:40] Speaker 2: We live in times where.
[10:42] Speaker 1: There are all kinds of orientations flying around reprogramming our spiritual.
[10:47] Speaker 2: Understanding, some for good and some for evil.
[10:51] Speaker 1: The average believer, if not strengthen tru mentorship, is already
[10:55] Speaker 1: confused as to the pillers and the coordinates of the
[10:59] Speaker 1: Christian faith. At what point can you define an individual
[11:03] Speaker 1: as a Christian? And then if you talk about Jesus,
[11:06] Speaker 1: who is a point of convergence, Jesus who is the
[11:09] Speaker 1: focal point for the believer's experience, you will be amazed
[11:14] Speaker 1: at how many people are at a loss as to their.
[11:17] Speaker 2: Definition of who Jesus is.
[11:19] Speaker 1: Sold attempt very quickly within the time we have to
[11:24] Speaker 1: answer the question who is Jesus.
[11:26] Speaker 2: It's important we reintroduce.
[11:29] Speaker 1: Jesus to our world because for many they found themselves
[11:33] Speaker 1: perhaps in a Christian family, Others found themselves around a
[11:37] Speaker 1: Christian environment. And you would think just because you've been
[11:41] Speaker 1: around spiritual things that it automatically means that you know
[11:45] Speaker 1: Jesus many people do not know Jesus. Many church people
[11:50] Speaker 1: do not know Jesus. Unfortunately, many preachers do not know Jesus.
[11:57] Speaker 1: It is possible to be around spirituality. Please listen carefully.
[12:01] Speaker 1: It is possible to be around the matters of faith.
[12:05] Speaker 1: It is possible to understand breakthrough and not know Jesus.
[12:09] Speaker 1: It is possible to understand the dynamics of the miraculous
[12:13] Speaker 1: and not know Jesus.
[12:14] Speaker 2: It is possible to.
[12:15] Speaker 1: Understand homoletics, understand nomatology, understand all of these.
[12:21] Speaker 2: Aspects of theology and not know Jesus.
[12:25] Speaker 1: It is possible to be a dedicated church walker and
[12:29] Speaker 1: not know Jesus. It is possible to bear a Christian
[12:33] Speaker 1: name and not know Jesus. It is possible to be
[12:37] Speaker 1: part of such a great conference like this and not
[12:40] Speaker 1: know Jesus. You can sing about him without knowing him.
[12:44] Speaker 1: You can write books about him. I mean, our libraries
[12:47] Speaker 1: across the globe is full of theological dissertations intelligently presented
[12:53] Speaker 1: by people who do not know Jesus. So please walk
[12:58] Speaker 1: with me for a few minutes and allow me that
[13:00] Speaker 1: has to reintroduce this man who has become the focal
[13:06] Speaker 1: point of every believer's pursuit. It is because of him
[13:11] Speaker 1: that crusades and conferences are held across the globe. It
[13:15] Speaker 1: is because of him that altar calls are made every
[13:18] Speaker 1: day and every other day. It is because of him
[13:22] Speaker 1: that the.
[13:23] Speaker 2: Sick have a chance to experience the supernatural power of God.
[13:27] Speaker 1: It is because of him that we have witnessed oppressed
[13:30] Speaker 1: people delivered. But the question is who is Jesus?
[13:37] Speaker 2: What does the Bible say in defense to the person Jesus?
[13:42] Speaker 1: Are you ready to learn? Please pay rapt attention and
[13:46] Speaker 1: we trust that God will grant us grace. Matthew, chapter sixteen,
[13:50] Speaker 1: Please contending for the faith, but one we're looking at
[13:54] Speaker 1: pillers of the Christian faith, and we want to answer
[13:56] Speaker 1: the question who is Jesus? Matthew sixteen, Please or begin
[14:01] Speaker 1: my reading from fifteen to eighteen.
[14:04] Speaker 2: The Pharisees also with the sad Dicees came and ten teen.
[14:09] Speaker 1: Please back up to Okay, he said, let's start from
[14:13] Speaker 1: verse fourteen, since we already started their media.
[14:16] Speaker 2: Can you help me Matthew sixteen fourteen? Okay, So Jesus was.
[14:21] Speaker 1: Asking a question, and he said, who do men say
[14:24] Speaker 1: that I the son of Man am and some said
[14:27] Speaker 1: you are Elijah.
[14:28] Speaker 2: Some said you are one of those prophets.
[14:30] Speaker 1: And now when we get to verse fourteen of fifteen,
[14:35] Speaker 1: now he said, unto them whom.
[14:37] Speaker 2: Say ye that I am?
[14:39] Speaker 1: In other words, let me hear your understanding about my
[14:42] Speaker 1: person sixteen Simon.
[14:44] Speaker 2: Peter answered and said, thou art the Christ, the son
[14:49] Speaker 2: of the living God. We're reading to eighteen.
[14:51] Speaker 1: And Jesus answered and said, let's said art thou Simon's
[14:55] Speaker 1: son of Jonah, for flesh and blood hath not revealed
[14:59] Speaker 1: this onto you immediately? We learn from this scripture that
[15:03] Speaker 1: the revelation of Jesus is beyond the realm of intellect.
[15:07] Speaker 1: It will require you moving past the realm of intellect,
[15:11] Speaker 1: even though your mind will be at work. Doesn't mean
[15:14] Speaker 1: to throw away your mind. It means that the revelation
[15:17] Speaker 1: of Jesus, if it must be understood accurately, you must
[15:21] Speaker 1: outsource a dimension beyond science. You must outsource a dimension
[15:26] Speaker 1: beyond intellect to understand Jesus.
[15:29] Speaker 2: Are we learning?
[15:30] Speaker 1: And then verse seven eighteen, Now the final verse, I
[15:34] Speaker 1: say unto you that you are Peter. And upon this
[15:38] Speaker 1: understanding of Jesus as Lord and Christ, I will build
[15:44] Speaker 1: my church, and I will build it in such a
[15:46] Speaker 1: way that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.
[15:51] Speaker 2: You believe that, say amen, Scripture number two. Very quickly.
[15:55] Speaker 2: Who is Jesus? Look Chapter twenty four.
[15:58] Speaker 1: From the starteen very interesting reading. I believe that all
[16:02] Speaker 1: of us, I presume, or many of us, are Bible students.
[16:06] Speaker 2: Look chapter twenty four. Please from verse thirteen, so.
[16:11] Speaker 1: The Bible says, And behold, two of them went that
[16:16] Speaker 1: same day to a village called em Mouse, which.
[16:20] Speaker 2: Was from Jerusalem about three score follows.
[16:22] Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, and they talked together of all
[16:26] Speaker 1: the things which had happened. So they were discussing here
[16:29] Speaker 1: to put it in context for you, Jesus had died,
[16:32] Speaker 1: and the news was all over town.
[16:34] Speaker 2: And two men were on their way to em Mouse,
[16:36] Speaker 2: discussing such a.
[16:37] Speaker 1: Sad event that had happened over the weekend. And the
[16:40] Speaker 1: Bible says, it came to pass while they commune together
[16:44] Speaker 1: and reason, Jesus, Now you're Jesus. My Jesus himself drew
[16:49] Speaker 1: nine and went with them verse sixteen. Follow this conversation carefully,
[16:53] Speaker 1: But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
[16:57] Speaker 1: You see that now that proximity Jesus since.
[17:00] Speaker 2: Then their myths, and yet they could not recognize him.
[17:04] Speaker 1: And he said onto them, what manner of communications are
[17:07] Speaker 1: these that you have one to another as you work?
[17:10] Speaker 2: And as sad eighteen?
[17:13] Speaker 1: And one of them, whose name was cleo Us Answering, said,
[17:17] Speaker 1: unto him, art thou only.
[17:18] Speaker 2: A stranger in Jerusalem?
[17:20] Speaker 1: And hast thou not known the things which have come
[17:23] Speaker 1: to pass there in these days?
[17:26] Speaker 2: And he said onto them, what things Jesus? Now? Proving
[17:31] Speaker 2: their curiosity.
[17:32] Speaker 1: He's just letting them speak concerning Jesus of Nazareth, he replied,
[17:37] Speaker 1: which was a prophet mighty indeed and word before God
[17:42] Speaker 1: and all the people, And how the chief priests and
[17:46] Speaker 1: the rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and
[17:49] Speaker 1: have crucified him. Keep reading, it says, but we trusted
[17:53] Speaker 1: that it had been which have redeemed Israel. So we
[17:57] Speaker 1: had expectations. Now it looks like we've indult expectations. Our
[18:02] Speaker 1: hopes are all gone. It says, today is the third
[18:05] Speaker 1: day since these things were done twenty two.
[18:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, and certain.
[18:09] Speaker 1: Women also of our company made us astonished, which were
[18:13] Speaker 1: early at the Saboca verse twenty three and when they
[18:17] Speaker 1: found not.
[18:17] Speaker 2: His body, the resurrection.
[18:20] Speaker 1: Now they came saying that they had also seen a
[18:23] Speaker 1: vision of angels which said that he was alive. Oh hallelujah.
[18:28] Speaker 1: Let me stop there and shouted, he's alive. Let every
[18:32] Speaker 1: devil know that he's alive. Prophside says, he's alive. Yes, sir,
[18:37] Speaker 1: he's alive. There are proof that he's alive. This man
[18:43] Speaker 1: were talking to Jesus about himself, and I can imagine
[18:46] Speaker 1: Jesus listening very carefully.
[18:48] Speaker 2: Wow, you mean the man is alive. Say yes, we
[18:50] Speaker 2: had the room or that is alive. Yes he is.
[18:54] Speaker 2: He's alive.
[18:55] Speaker 1: And every devil tonight will know that he's alive. Every
[18:59] Speaker 1: sickness will know that is a life in the name
[19:02] Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ.
[19:04] Speaker 3: Every hiding must come down, every strong hold shall be broken.
[19:10] Speaker 2: You are the fictures crown. You overcome, You overcome.
[19:16] Speaker 3: Every hiding must come down, Every strong hold shall be broken.
[19:22] Speaker 2: You are the picture strown. You overcome.
[19:27] Speaker 4: Every hiding must.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Every strong hold shall be broken. You were the picture scroll.
[19:37] Speaker 2: You overcome.
[19:40] Speaker 1: One more time, shouting at the revelation, say he is alive.
[19:45] Speaker 1: Oh my pain, here you the word of the Lord
[19:47] Speaker 1: is alive.
[19:48] Speaker 2: Trouble for you, the sickness and delay and defeat. I
[19:52] Speaker 2: have bad news.
[19:53] Speaker 1: He's alive, bad news for everything that is Antichrist.
[19:58] Speaker 2: He is alive. Victorio all I allelujah, and so.
[20:08] Speaker 1: Verse twenty three said he's still speaking, that he's alive,
[20:12] Speaker 1: the patient, as I keep reading twenty four. And certain
[20:16] Speaker 1: of them which were with us, went to the sepulcher
[20:18] Speaker 1: and found it. Even so as the women had said
[20:23] Speaker 1: they saw, but him, they saw not Verse twenty five.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Then he said, unto them, all fools.
[20:28] Speaker 1: Jesus is responding now, and slow of had to believe
[20:32] Speaker 1: all that the prophets had spoken. Twenty six, ought not
[20:36] Speaker 1: Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into
[20:40] Speaker 1: his glory, And beginning at Moses and all the prophets,
[20:46] Speaker 1: he expounded onto them in all the scriptures.
[20:50] Speaker 2: The things concerning himself.
[20:52] Speaker 1: Were reading to thirty two. And they drew nigh onto
[20:55] Speaker 1: the village. With that they went and made us though,
[20:58] Speaker 1: and he made as though he would gone.
[21:00] Speaker 2: Further, but they constrained him.
[21:04] Speaker 1: Very passionate people, saying, abide with us, for it is
[21:08] Speaker 1: towards evening and the day is first spent. And he
[21:10] Speaker 1: went into tarry with them. Now pay attention. And it
[21:14] Speaker 1: came to pass. As he sat at the table with them, hallelujah.
[21:18] Speaker 1: He took bread and blessed it, and break and gave
[21:21] Speaker 1: to him.
[21:23] Speaker 2: And their eyes were opened, and they knew him. Their
[21:29] Speaker 2: eyes were opened, and they knew him. And as soon
[21:33] Speaker 2: as they saw that it was him, he vanished out
[21:35] Speaker 2: of their sight. Final verse.
[21:37] Speaker 1: And they said to one another, did not our hearts
[21:41] Speaker 1: burn within us? While he talked with us by the way,
[21:44] Speaker 1: and while he opened us up to the scriptures. Jesus
[21:48] Speaker 1: is alike. The men at Emaus were in proximity with Jesus.
[21:53] Speaker 1: And you can imagine for all the hours they were
[21:55] Speaker 1: with Jesus, they did not know who he was. They
[21:58] Speaker 1: did not even know they were disc with Jesus the
[22:00] Speaker 1: Living Christ. Allelujah. Can I give you one last scripture
[22:05] Speaker 1: at chapter nine, please, from verse four to five. This
[22:08] Speaker 1: is Paul's encounter. We are reintroducing Jesus to our world.
[22:13] Speaker 1: We're reintroducing Jesus to a generation that has completely lost
[22:18] Speaker 1: pots of Jesus, who is the focal point, the epicenter
[22:22] Speaker 1: of a Christian pursuit.
[22:24] Speaker 2: Speaking about Saul.
[22:25] Speaker 1: Now, the Bible says he fell to the earth and
[22:29] Speaker 1: heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutors
[22:33] Speaker 1: thou me?
[22:34] Speaker 2: Verse five, And he said, who art thou? Lord?
[22:38] Speaker 1: Paul was asking who is this now? And the Lord said,
[22:42] Speaker 1: I am Jesus. He revealed himself. I am Jesus, whom
[22:48] Speaker 1: thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against
[22:52] Speaker 1: the prix.
[22:55] Speaker 2: Now.
[22:56] Speaker 1: I said it earlier, And let me repeat again for
[22:59] Speaker 1: your hearing and your learning, that Jesus, the person Jesus,
[23:04] Speaker 1: is the eptyicenter, the focal point of the Christian faith.
[23:10] Speaker 1: That everything that makes our Christian pursuit what it is
[23:14] Speaker 1: is because of this person, Jesus. There are many variables
[23:19] Speaker 1: as far as our Christian experience is concerned, and there
[23:22] Speaker 1: are many aspects of our Christian life things we can
[23:25] Speaker 1: do without. But the one focal point, the meeting point,
[23:31] Speaker 1: the center of convergence. Regardless denomination, regardless pride, race, and
[23:37] Speaker 1: all the prejudices that exist among gods within the fold,
[23:41] Speaker 1: the one thing that should bind everyone is Jesus. We
[23:46] Speaker 1: may not agree in terms of doctrinal issues. We may
[23:50] Speaker 1: disagree in terms of our approach to ministry. The modus
[23:54] Speaker 1: operandi from a denominational standpoint. But the one thing that
[23:58] Speaker 1: must never cease to be is the fact that Jesus
[24:02] Speaker 1: must remain at the center of everything that we do. Now,
[24:06] Speaker 1: please listen, I wrote something here that you cannot love
[24:10] Speaker 1: a person you have not encountered. It is difficult to
[24:14] Speaker 1: love a person or attempt to love a person you
[24:17] Speaker 1: have not encountered.
[24:19] Speaker 2: And it is difficult for you to live for a
[24:25] Speaker 2: person you do not love.
[24:27] Speaker 1: So it starts with an encounter or the knowing, then loving,
[24:32] Speaker 1: then serving or living for someone. The reason why many
[24:35] Speaker 1: people cannot live for Jesus is because they do not
[24:38] Speaker 1: even love him.
[24:39] Speaker 2: And the reason why they do not love him is
[24:42] Speaker 2: because they do not know him.
[24:43] Speaker 1: You cannot love a god you do not know, and
[24:47] Speaker 1: you cannot serve a God you do not love, who is.
[24:49] Speaker 2: Learning already we're defining Jesus. Now.
[24:53] Speaker 1: I wrote something here and I want you to see
[24:55] Speaker 1: listen that the inefficiency, the inefficiency in our Christian experience
[25:02] Speaker 1: and the poor results that are obtained from our evangelistic
[25:08] Speaker 1: programs is traceable to our not knowing Jesus. The reason why,
[25:14] Speaker 1: sadly there's a lot of inefficiency in our evangelistic campaigns.
[25:19] Speaker 1: As well intentioned as we are, we are not able
[25:22] Speaker 1: to see the power, the life, the transformation.
[25:25] Speaker 2: And the fruits that befit such spiritual pursuits.
[25:29] Speaker 1: The reason is because we do not know Jesus's tampered
[25:33] Speaker 1: with our confidence.
[25:34] Speaker 2: There are many things we are not able to do,
[25:37] Speaker 2: and say and expect because we do not know Jesus. Now,
[25:46] Speaker 2: for the believer in Christ, the Scripture is the basis
[25:51] Speaker 2: for your learning. Please listen carefully.
[25:53] Speaker 1: The believer is not given the liberty to lend God
[25:56] Speaker 1: anywhere and anyhow. There are boundaries to our pursuit of
[26:00] Speaker 1: spiritual knowledge.
[26:02] Speaker 2: It's important for us to know this.
[26:04] Speaker 1: There are lots of extra biblical materials agreed, But whilst
[26:09] Speaker 1: it has to do with the revelation of Jesus, sufficient
[26:13] Speaker 1: is the Scripture to give you all the definitions of
[26:16] Speaker 1: Jesus that you need away together. So when we say
[26:19] Speaker 1: that the Bible is accurate, you may have heard me
[26:22] Speaker 1: teach that the accuracy of the Bible.
[26:25] Speaker 2: Is not in its linguistic progress.
[26:27] Speaker 1: No, if you gage the Bible based on its linguistic progress,
[26:31] Speaker 1: you will find it wanting.
[26:33] Speaker 2: The accuracy of the Bible is not even in its.
[26:36] Speaker 1: Aechiological accuracy, because you will find on many grounds there
[26:40] Speaker 1: are many students call us here, and you will find
[26:43] Speaker 1: out that on many grounds many information where Tom Padwick.
[26:49] Speaker 2: As the Bible was being canonized, and all the transitions
[26:52] Speaker 2: through history.
[26:53] Speaker 1: When we say the Bible is accurate, we mean it
[26:57] Speaker 1: is accurate with respect to its ability to reveal Christ.
[27:02] Speaker 2: That when it has to do with the revelation of Christ.
[27:05] Speaker 1: Sufficient is the Bible to teach any body about Jesus Christ.
[27:11] Speaker 1: If you use the Bible to gage any other subject,
[27:14] Speaker 1: you stand a chance of tampering with so many things.
[27:19] Speaker 2: And meeting a lot of inefficiencies.
[27:21] Speaker 1: Inas much as the Bible addresses or the issues to
[27:25] Speaker 1: the most accurate presentation, Listen carefully the real assignment of
[27:30] Speaker 1: the Bible, even though it's a manual that covers every
[27:33] Speaker 1: aspect of life. But the most accurate presentation of scripture
[27:38] Speaker 1: is when it is used to reveal Jesus.
[27:42] Speaker 2: Are we together now? Yes. You can use the Bible
[27:46] Speaker 2: as a financial manual.
[27:48] Speaker 1: You will get a lot of valuable information that can
[27:51] Speaker 1: transform your life. You can use the Bible as an
[27:53] Speaker 1: instrument of reconciliation. You can use the Bible to set
[27:57] Speaker 1: up a policy that governs an organization, but primarily essentially
[28:05] Speaker 1: the entire companion of the sixty six books. As we know,
[28:09] Speaker 1: we're designed to help give us an accurate understanding of Jesus.
[28:14] Speaker 2: Are we learning now?
[28:15] Speaker 1: So let's hear what the Bible has to say about Jesus.
[28:18] Speaker 1: Please follow carefully.
[28:19] Speaker 2: Number one, the Bible calls Jesus the word John.
[28:23] Speaker 1: Chapter one and verse one, the Bible calls Jesus the
[28:28] Speaker 1: word John. One one in the beginning was the word,
[28:31] Speaker 1: and the word was with God, and the word was God.
[28:35] Speaker 2: Let me hurry up.
[28:36] Speaker 1: In Romance chapter one, from verse three and four, the
[28:40] Speaker 1: Bible calls Jesus the Son of God. Please say that
[28:44] Speaker 1: after me, the Son of God. One more time, believers
[28:47] Speaker 1: say the son of God. So the Bible says concerning
[28:52] Speaker 1: his son Jesus, Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made
[28:58] Speaker 1: the seed of Abraham according to the flesh concerning his son.
[29:03] Speaker 2: And then number four, verse four now and declared.
[29:06] Speaker 1: To be the son of God with power according to
[29:11] Speaker 1: the spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead.
[29:15] Speaker 2: So the Bible identifies Jesus as the son of God.
[29:21] Speaker 2: Isn't it amazing?
[29:22] Speaker 5: The son of God believed I the Son of God,
[29:32] Speaker 5: big glory, fined.
[29:43] Speaker 2: Wander landlo.
[29:52] Speaker 6: The Son.
[29:56] Speaker 1: So the Bible calls Jesus the Word, the the Word
[30:00] Speaker 1: of God. The Bible calls Jesus the Son of God.
[30:05] Speaker 1: Number three Hebrews, Chapter twelfth and verse two. The Bible
[30:09] Speaker 1: calls Jesus the Author and the finisher of our faith.
[30:13] Speaker 2: Very interesting presentation the author Hebrews twelve two.
[30:18] Speaker 1: The author and the finisher, It says, looking on to Jesus,
[30:23] Speaker 1: who is the author and the finisher of our faith?
[30:29] Speaker 1: First John, chapter four and verse fourteen, The Bible calls
[30:33] Speaker 1: him the Savior of the world.
[30:35] Speaker 2: I like this.
[30:36] Speaker 1: First John, chapter four and verse fourteen. Who is Jesus,
[30:40] Speaker 1: the Bible says, And we have seen and do testify
[30:44] Speaker 1: that the Father sends the Son to be the savior
[30:49] Speaker 1: of the world. Jesus is savior. Jesus is Savior of
[30:54] Speaker 1: the world. First Timote, Chapter two, from verse four and five.
[31:00] Speaker 1: Verse Timoti Chapter two, from verse four and five.
[31:02] Speaker 2: The Bible calls him the mediator between God and men.
[31:07] Speaker 1: The Bible says, who will have all men to be
[31:10] Speaker 1: saved and to come onto the knowledge of the truth?
[31:13] Speaker 2: Verse five.
[31:14] Speaker 1: I like this he says, for there is one God
[31:19] Speaker 1: and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
[31:29] Speaker 1: In Ads Chapter two and verse thirty six, Peter was teaching,
[31:35] Speaker 1: preaching on the day of Pentecost, and he called Jesus
[31:39] Speaker 1: Lord and Christ, adds two unverse thirty six. Therefore, let
[31:43] Speaker 1: all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath
[31:47] Speaker 1: made that same Jesus, whom he have crucified both Lord
[31:52] Speaker 1: and Christ. So the Bible defines Jesus and introduces him
[31:57] Speaker 1: by all these names and these dimensions.
[32:00] Speaker 2: But I want to create your indulgence for a moment.
[32:03] Speaker 2: I want to run through a list of what Jesus
[32:06] Speaker 2: said about himself.
[32:08] Speaker 1: Now, when we write books, there's what we call autobiography.
[32:12] Speaker 2: Am I right on that?
[32:13] Speaker 1: And that's what we call biography, and all of these
[32:16] Speaker 1: things together. On one hand, you can write about someone
[32:20] Speaker 1: based on your experience, But an individual can choose to
[32:25] Speaker 1: write about himself. And it is assumed that the most
[32:29] Speaker 1: accurate presentation of any man is what he writes about himself.
[32:33] Speaker 1: It is said to assume that that person, all other
[32:36] Speaker 1: factors being constant, that that person.
[32:39] Speaker 2: Will be true. Enough.
[32:40] Speaker 1: Are we together now? So if you ask me, who
[32:44] Speaker 1: is John? Say, a gentleman standing by my left. I
[32:48] Speaker 1: can describe him only based on what I know about him.
[32:52] Speaker 1: But when you say, John, tell us about yourself, you
[32:55] Speaker 1: would trust everything that he says. Now I've told you
[32:58] Speaker 1: what's several people by the speed it said about Jesus.
[33:01] Speaker 1: I want you to please listen with conviction. Hear what
[33:04] Speaker 1: Jesus said about himself.
[33:06] Speaker 2: Are you ready? Now?
[33:07] Speaker 1: I'm going to run through the least may not have
[33:09] Speaker 1: time to explain. I'm answering a question tonight number one.
[33:13] Speaker 1: In John chapter six and verse thirty five, Jesus called
[33:17] Speaker 1: himself the bread of life, the bread of life.
[33:22] Speaker 2: John six thirty five. Who is Jesus?
[33:25] Speaker 1: He called himself the bread of life. In John chapter
[33:31] Speaker 1: eight and verse twelve. John chapter eight and verse twelve,
[33:35] Speaker 1: he called himself the light of the world, the light
[33:40] Speaker 1: of the world, the light of the world. John chapter
[33:43] Speaker 1: eight and verse twelve. Jesus himself called.
[33:47] Speaker 2: Himself the light of the world. Can I continue?
[33:53] Speaker 1: In John chapter ten, verse seven and verse nine. John
[33:57] Speaker 1: chapter ten, verse seven and verse nine, Jesus called himself
[34:02] Speaker 1: the door. I like that definition.
[34:04] Speaker 2: He called himself the door. You know what it means
[34:07] Speaker 2: to be the door.
[34:08] Speaker 1: The door means the authorized access point, authorized access point
[34:14] Speaker 1: that no man comment to the Father except.
[34:17] Speaker 2: By Jesus the door. Now, I would always give this.
[34:21] Speaker 1: Example speaking to my people back home, that either visitor
[34:24] Speaker 1: were to come into your house by scaling your fence.
[34:27] Speaker 2: He's in your house, but is he welcome.
[34:30] Speaker 1: No, you don't call him a visitor. You call him
[34:33] Speaker 1: a eve, because even though he's in your house, he
[34:36] Speaker 1: came to.
[34:37] Speaker 2: An unauthorized access. Am I right on that all of you.
[34:40] Speaker 1: Stepped into this place, and as much as I know,
[34:43] Speaker 1: nobody told the roof to be here. You came through
[34:49] Speaker 1: an authorized access. So Jesus said, I am the door.
[34:56] Speaker 1: Can me continue? John chapter ten and verse eleven. Who
[34:59] Speaker 1: is Jesus? He had this to say about himself. I
[35:03] Speaker 1: am the good shepherd. I am the good shepherd. I
[35:08] Speaker 1: am the good shepherd. Immediately we learn that they are
[35:12] Speaker 1: bad shepherds, and he qualifies it, says the good shepherd
[35:17] Speaker 1: give that his life, lays down his life for his sheep.
[35:21] Speaker 1: So Jesus calls himself a good shepherd. The next description
[35:27] Speaker 1: John chapter eleven and verse twenty five. John eleven twenty
[35:31] Speaker 1: five he called himself the Resurrection and the Life.
[35:36] Speaker 2: You also find that.
[35:37] Speaker 1: In Revelations one seventeen and eighteen, we're doing a lot
[35:42] Speaker 1: of Bible work. Keep writing, keep writing is called the
[35:45] Speaker 1: sound of Revival in the name of Jesus Christ, Allelujah.
[35:49] Speaker 2: I am the Resurrection and the Life.
[35:52] Speaker 1: Jesus himself he spoke as a resurrection and life at
[35:56] Speaker 1: the Tomb of Lazarus, and by the time John was
[35:58] Speaker 1: caught up in the Isle of Utmost having his supernatural
[36:01] Speaker 1: encounters in Revelations one seventeen and eighteen, he said, I
[36:06] Speaker 1: am the Resurrection and the Life.
[36:10] Speaker 2: We're almost there. What did Jesus say about himself? Now?
[36:14] Speaker 2: I like this one John fourteen and verse six. Here's
[36:17] Speaker 2: what he said.
[36:18] Speaker 1: I am the Way and the Truth and the Life.
[36:24] Speaker 1: Can you say that after me, I am the Way
[36:28] Speaker 1: and the Truth and the Life. This is beautiful. I
[36:32] Speaker 1: am the Way. Now I used to think Jesus meant,
[36:36] Speaker 1: I am the Way, then I am the Truth, then
[36:39] Speaker 1: I am the Life.
[36:40] Speaker 2: It's it looks so.
[36:42] Speaker 1: Based on kjv's rendition, but when you studied the root expression,
[36:46] Speaker 1: it was describing a journey that I am the way
[36:50] Speaker 1: that leads you to truth, reality and then the end
[36:54] Speaker 1: product is that you find life.
[36:57] Speaker 2: Are we together now?
[36:59] Speaker 1: So the journey to life does not start by having life.
[37:03] Speaker 1: The journey to life starts by finding the way. Then
[37:06] Speaker 1: you access not an information a person called the truth.
[37:11] Speaker 1: Then there is an administration of that truth within your spirit.
[37:15] Speaker 2: It eventually leads to life. I am the Way, the Truth,
[37:23] Speaker 2: and the life. Allelujah.
[37:28] Speaker 1: What else did Jesus say about himself? John Chapter fifteen,
[37:33] Speaker 1: verse one and verse five. John fifteen, Verse one and
[37:36] Speaker 1: verse five. He said, I am the true vine, the
[37:40] Speaker 1: true vine. I am the true vine, and my father
[37:44] Speaker 1: is the husband man. I am the true vine. Verse
[37:48] Speaker 1: five says I am the vine, and ye are the branches.
[37:52] Speaker 1: The fruit bearing part of any vine is called the branch.
[37:57] Speaker 1: So he says, I am the vine. You draw your
[37:59] Speaker 1: life from me, but.
[38:00] Speaker 2: The results are produced through your hands. The results are
[38:04] Speaker 2: produced through your ministry. Are we together now?
[38:06] Speaker 1: It is the branch that bears the fruit. So when
[38:09] Speaker 1: he says, I am the vine, and ye are the branches.
[38:12] Speaker 1: In other words, we are together, but you are you
[38:15] Speaker 1: give evidence.
[38:16] Speaker 2: To my presence. Who is Jesus. Revelations, Chapter one and
[38:27] Speaker 2: verse eight.
[38:29] Speaker 1: I am Alpha omega beginning and the end. I am
[38:37] Speaker 1: alpha Omega, beginning and the end.
[38:43] Speaker 2: Jesus. For you, I am Alpha Omega, beginning and the end.
[38:54] Speaker 2: Who is Jesus?
[38:55] Speaker 1: According to his own description about himself Revelations one and
[38:59] Speaker 1: verse seventeen, I am the first and the last. This
[39:04] Speaker 1: is what he called himself the first, I'm the last.
[39:08] Speaker 1: I am the first, the originator of everything, and I
[39:12] Speaker 1: am the one who callm nates all things. I am
[39:15] Speaker 1: the first and the last. Let me give you one
[39:18] Speaker 1: last one. Thank you for your patience.
[39:21] Speaker 2: You're doing a good job. Keep writing.
[39:25] Speaker 1: Revelations one eighteen. What did Jesus say about himself? I
[39:31] Speaker 1: am here that liveth I like this one was dead,
[39:36] Speaker 1: was dead, not is dead, was dead. Behold, I am
[39:41] Speaker 1: a life forevermore. I am a life forevermore. And I'm
[39:47] Speaker 1: not just alive.
[39:48] Speaker 2: I have the keys of hell. I have the keys
[39:52] Speaker 2: of death. I am here that lived. It is true
[39:57] Speaker 2: that I died, But behold see comes as a reality
[40:01] Speaker 2: today that I am alive. Hallelujah. So there are ten
[40:06] Speaker 2: things based on Scripture. Ten of them.
[40:09] Speaker 1: Descriptions that Jesus gave about himself.
[40:14] Speaker 2: Who is Jesus called himself all of this?
[40:18] Speaker 1: And because The Bible tells us that when he came,
[40:21] Speaker 1: he came full of grace and truth. We trust the
[40:24] Speaker 1: validity of everything that he said about himself.
[40:28] Speaker 2: Are we together now?
[40:30] Speaker 1: Yes, he was declared to be the son of God
[40:33] Speaker 1: by the Spirit of Holiness, so we know that there
[40:35] Speaker 1: is no God, there is no deception, there is no falsehood.
[40:38] Speaker 2: We trust the speakings that came from him. Now, very quickly,
[40:42] Speaker 2: what was his mission? This is very important in describing Jesus.
[40:48] Speaker 1: I need to let you know why he came. Why
[40:51] Speaker 1: did Jesus come? Why did Jesus come? I will give
[40:59] Speaker 1: you a threefold description, and then will answer the second question.
[41:05] Speaker 1: I believe somewhere in the cause of this meeting, the
[41:08] Speaker 1: power of the Holy Spirit will rest mightily upon someone,
[41:12] Speaker 1: because he's here to give witness to his speakings, the
[41:14] Speaker 1: Bible says, and the Lord walking with them confirming the
[41:17] Speaker 1: words with signs following for someone while you are listening
[41:21] Speaker 1: to this message, he wants to be.
[41:24] Speaker 2: The door for you tonight.
[41:25] Speaker 1: All of these descriptions, you see inasmuch as Jesus is
[41:29] Speaker 1: here to bless all of us. The various descriptions reveal
[41:33] Speaker 1: the various dimensions he wants to be to several people
[41:36] Speaker 1: according to their challenges. To someone who is seek in
[41:40] Speaker 1: your body, you don't need him as the door. You
[41:43] Speaker 1: need him as the life, the resurrection, and the life.
[41:48] Speaker 1: To someone who is confused trying to look for your
[41:50] Speaker 1: way out, you need the.
[41:53] Speaker 2: Door, the authorized access. Are we together for someone who
[42:00] Speaker 2: is wondering, will I really finish this race?
[42:03] Speaker 1: If you started with God, then be sure that the
[42:05] Speaker 1: Alpha is also Omega.
[42:07] Speaker 2: You will finish. You will finish strong in the name
[42:10] Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ. Now very quickly, why did Jesus come.
[42:15] Speaker 1: Jesus came to this world for three principal assignments. If
[42:21] Speaker 1: you do not understand this, your Christian experience will.
[42:24] Speaker 2: Be inefficient, and say and praise on our ignorance on this.
[42:28] Speaker 1: Wise to cause people to live meaningless lives and to
[42:32] Speaker 1: sabotage up our you know, working in the fullness of
[42:37] Speaker 1: the life and the power of God.
[42:38] Speaker 2: Number one, The first reason why Jesus came. Listen carefully.
[42:45] Speaker 1: He came to be an accurate revelation, an accurate revelation.
[42:53] Speaker 2: Of God, the Father, who had been misunderstood.
[42:56] Speaker 1: In other words, an accurate revelation of the misunderstood God
[43:01] Speaker 1: as simple as this sounds, it's important for you to
[43:04] Speaker 1: burnd this in your heart that the first assignment of
[43:07] Speaker 1: Jesus was not just to come and die. No, No,
[43:11] Speaker 1: his first assignment was to correct our perception about a
[43:16] Speaker 1: God we did not know. Because until that time there
[43:19] Speaker 1: was no opportunity to have widespread encounters. God would single
[43:24] Speaker 1: out individuals and reveal himself to them in types and shadows.
[43:28] Speaker 2: Are we together? So the entire nation of Israel depended
[43:33] Speaker 2: on the communication that came from their leaders as to
[43:36] Speaker 2: who God was.
[43:38] Speaker 1: And using the lens of Jesus, we know that many
[43:42] Speaker 1: of the prophets, many of.
[43:43] Speaker 2: The patriarchs, as sincere.
[43:46] Speaker 1: As they were in many regards, they did not have
[43:48] Speaker 1: an accurate picture of who God was. So they wrote
[43:51] Speaker 1: many things from the lens of their sincerity, but using
[43:55] Speaker 1: Jesus as a marching script, using Jesus as a standard,
[44:00] Speaker 1: we have a right to question many things they said.
[44:03] Speaker 2: In the Bible. You will see that they credited a
[44:05] Speaker 2: lot of things to God.
[44:06] Speaker 1: For instance, you read very disturbing statements in the Bible,
[44:10] Speaker 1: like a lying spirit came out from the Lord.
[44:13] Speaker 2: Now, if you are a believer and you're not.
[44:15] Speaker 1: Enlightened, that is inconsistent with God's character. So Jesus came
[44:23] Speaker 1: to deframe and form to the God we never understood,
[44:27] Speaker 1: so that everything we read prior to his arrival that
[44:31] Speaker 1: God was who.
[44:32] Speaker 2: Would use him as a verification system.
[44:36] Speaker 1: If God said I am love, we have a right
[44:39] Speaker 1: to doubt it until we find Jesus demonstrating love.
[44:42] Speaker 2: Are we together now? So there are many things.
[44:45] Speaker 1: God said he was, or the prophet said God was,
[44:48] Speaker 1: that we do not see captured in the life of Jesus.
[44:51] Speaker 1: For instance, the Bible tells us he was tempted in
[44:54] Speaker 1: every way, yet without saying and when you read part
[44:58] Speaker 1: of the works of the flesh, life is part of it.
[45:01] Speaker 1: So we can question the fact that God is not
[45:04] Speaker 1: a man and that it should lie. So a lying
[45:08] Speaker 1: spirit could not have come out of God. That was
[45:10] Speaker 1: an error in the understanding of the prophet.
[45:13] Speaker 2: Now we don't condemn them. We salute them for the
[45:16] Speaker 2: much that they brought.
[45:17] Speaker 1: But we can vet spiritual understanding using the person Jesus,
[45:22] Speaker 1: who understands me so far. Allelujah, that everything you find
[45:28] Speaker 1: that is said about God and you cannot verify it
[45:32] Speaker 1: in the person Christ, you have a right to question it.
[45:36] Speaker 1: The presence of Jesus gives you the presence to look
[45:40] Speaker 1: carefully at every other speaking about God. As revealed by
[45:45] Speaker 1: the prophets of old, the first assignment of Jesus was
[45:49] Speaker 1: that he came as a revelation of.
[45:51] Speaker 2: The Father, the misunderstood God.
[45:57] Speaker 1: So the Bible stays, for instance, the Lord is gracious
[46:00] Speaker 1: and compassionate, he's slow to anger, and rich in love.
[46:05] Speaker 2: How do we know that is a true statement about God?
[46:07] Speaker 1: We look to Jesus. Did we see him demonstrate compassion? Yes,
[46:12] Speaker 1: the woman at the well? Did we see him demonstrate compassion? Yes,
[46:15] Speaker 1: Bland Batamio. Did we see him demonstrate compassion yes, at
[46:19] Speaker 1: the pool of Betesta. So we can conclude, using the
[46:22] Speaker 1: person Jesus, that it is true that God is gracious
[46:26] Speaker 1: and compassionate, he's slow to anger.
[46:29] Speaker 2: Is God the righterus? George? Yes, how do we know?
[46:32] Speaker 2: We look at the life of Jesus.
[46:35] Speaker 1: When they turned the house of Prayer to a den
[46:38] Speaker 1: of roberts, he got there and turned the tables, and
[46:41] Speaker 1: he said, my father's how should be called the house
[46:44] Speaker 1: of prayer for all nations? But you have made it
[46:46] Speaker 1: a den of roberts. So we know immediately that God
[46:50] Speaker 1: is George, and that when the Bible says God will
[46:53] Speaker 1: George the living and the dead, it's not a lie.
[46:55] Speaker 2: We shaw that manifest in Jesus. The Bible says, I've
[47:00] Speaker 2: spoken twice. Have we heard that power belongs to God?
[47:04] Speaker 2: How do we know that is true? What's Jesus? Did
[47:09] Speaker 2: he heal the sick?
[47:10] Speaker 6: Yes?
[47:11] Speaker 2: Did he come the sea? Yes?
[47:14] Speaker 1: And the greatest demonstration of power was victory over seeing Satan,
[47:19] Speaker 1: hell and the grave. So when Jesus rose up triumphantly,
[47:25] Speaker 1: I like the description he folded his grave clothes and
[47:29] Speaker 1: kept it quietly and left it as an evidence that
[47:32] Speaker 1: death had no power.
[47:33] Speaker 2: Again, now there.
[47:40] Speaker 1: Are implications to everything that I'm describing, and we look
[47:43] Speaker 1: at that at a latter session, because you'll be learning
[47:47] Speaker 1: that everything Jesus came to demonstrate was a.
[47:50] Speaker 2: Portrait of what God intends that you become. Now now
[47:56] Speaker 2: that as he is, not as he was, as he is,
[48:00] Speaker 2: it is a so are we? Now?
[48:02] Speaker 1: That becomes your your benchmark, your reference, your standard.
[48:06] Speaker 2: Your press, your pursuit. When you say I desire to.
[48:09] Speaker 1: Be like Jesus, it means that you want to rise
[48:11] Speaker 1: to that point of stature in the spirit where you
[48:14] Speaker 1: literally become like him, a demonstration, a revelation of the
[48:19] Speaker 1: invisible God who is learning so far so the first
[48:23] Speaker 1: assignment of Jesus when he walked upon the earth was
[48:26] Speaker 1: to give definition and to correct our understanding about the
[48:31] Speaker 1: misunderstood God. Number two very quickly. Why did Jesus come?
[48:39] Speaker 1: He came to make the life of.
[48:40] Speaker 2: God accessible to us by reconciling men to God.
[48:45] Speaker 1: I can say this said thousand times and not be
[48:48] Speaker 1: exhausted by the truths that are contained in this statement.
[48:52] Speaker 1: That Jesus came to make the life of God not
[48:56] Speaker 1: just available, it was always available.
[49:00] Speaker 2: In him was life, but it was not accessible.
[49:05] Speaker 1: He didn't just come to make the life of God available.
[49:08] Speaker 1: He came to make the life of God accessible to
[49:11] Speaker 1: man by reconciling man to God. Efficient Chapter two, fourteen
[49:16] Speaker 1: and fifteen Efficient chapter two, Efficient chapter two. For his
[49:24] Speaker 1: is a peace, who hath made both one and had
[49:29] Speaker 1: broken down the middle wall of partition between us fifteen.
[49:33] Speaker 2: Having abolished in his flesh.
[49:35] Speaker 1: The enmity even the law of commandments contained in ordinances,
[49:41] Speaker 1: for to make in himself of twain one new man,
[49:45] Speaker 1: having made peace. The Bible says, he is our peace.
[49:48] Speaker 1: He's brought together. He's reconciled us to God. Ephicients one
[49:53] Speaker 1: and verse seventeen and verse seven, Efficient Chapter one and
[49:57] Speaker 1: verse seven. The second assignment of Jesus, the Bible says, King,
[50:01] Speaker 1: whom we have redemption. If you believer in Christ, say
[50:05] Speaker 1: that boldly, say I have redemption through His blood, Yes, sir.
[50:12] Speaker 1: The forgiveness of things, the Bible says, according to the
[50:16] Speaker 1: riches of his grace. So. Number one, Jesus came to
[50:21] Speaker 1: reveal the Father, to reveal the unknown God, the misunderstood God.
[50:26] Speaker 2: He came as a correction to our understanding of God.
[50:30] Speaker 2: Number two.
[50:31] Speaker 1: He came to make the life of God what we
[50:33] Speaker 1: call eternal life, everlasting life, all the way. He came
[50:37] Speaker 1: to make it accessible to all men, not some men,
[50:41] Speaker 1: all men.
[50:43] Speaker 2: Number three Jesus Christ came as the patent man. He
[50:50] Speaker 2: came as the patent man.
[50:53] Speaker 1: The model of God's idea, the model of God's expectation
[50:58] Speaker 1: for the believer. He came as a patent man, the
[51:03] Speaker 1: model of God's idea, the model of God's expectation for man. Hallelujah,
[51:13] Speaker 1: God's idea, God's expectation.
[51:17] Speaker 2: He came as a model.
[51:19] Speaker 1: Now If you do not understand this threefold assignment, something
[51:23] Speaker 1: will happen to your Christian experience. Even as a preacher.
[51:27] Speaker 1: Most people number one do not know who Jesus is.
[51:30] Speaker 1: Number two, They do not even know why he came.
[51:35] Speaker 1: The average believer just believes that he came to die.
[51:38] Speaker 1: That is good, that is true, but that is incomplete.
[51:42] Speaker 1: His threefold assignment must be understood by every believer who
[51:46] Speaker 1: intends to be an effective witness and to benefit maximally
[51:51] Speaker 1: from your Christian experience.
[51:52] Speaker 2: Let me recap one last time.
[51:54] Speaker 1: Number one, that Jesus came as a revelation to us
[51:58] Speaker 1: of the misunderstood God. He came as a correction to
[52:02] Speaker 1: our prior perceptions about God.
[52:04] Speaker 2: Number two.
[52:05] Speaker 1: He came to make the life of God accessible to
[52:08] Speaker 1: anyone at all.
[52:09] Speaker 2: John three sixteen.
[52:11] Speaker 1: For God so loved the world, for God so loved
[52:14] Speaker 1: Joshua Selman. For God so loved the City of Leeds.
[52:18] Speaker 1: For God so loved the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, America, India, Asia,
[52:24] Speaker 1: all nations at all. That he gave his then only
[52:29] Speaker 1: begotten son. He said that whosoever I like that statement,
[52:32] Speaker 1: whosoever the drunkard, the prostitute, whosoever the downcards, the depressed, whosoever,
[52:40] Speaker 1: the unbeliever, the prodigal son, prodigal daughter, prodigal, whoever whosoever
[52:46] Speaker 1: believeth on him.
[52:47] Speaker 2: The Bible declares that there is a law. He was
[52:50] Speaker 2: not a statement. He is a law that whosoever believes
[52:54] Speaker 2: in him he should not.
[52:55] Speaker 1: Perish, but have everlast in life. Allelujah prays the name
[53:02] Speaker 1: of the Lord. It's important for us to understand that
[53:08] Speaker 1: Jesus came to achieve this, and the meaning of that
[53:12] Speaker 1: is that if you are in this place right now
[53:14] Speaker 1: and you have not opened up yourself to receive this
[53:18] Speaker 1: threefold ministry of Jesus, it then means that you are
[53:24] Speaker 1: leaving yourself at a loss because He's brought you a
[53:29] Speaker 1: correct definition of the invisible God. He's brought you access
[53:34] Speaker 1: to life, life, superior life, glorious life beyond the context
[53:39] Speaker 1: you have known. Life beyond breathing in oxygen and breathing
[53:43] Speaker 1: out carbon the oxide, life that contains within it purpose,
[53:47] Speaker 1: life that contains within it peace Jesus.
[53:53] Speaker 2: The second question would be answering to night very quickly,
[53:56] Speaker 2: and then we pray what is the gospel?
[54:03] Speaker 1: While looking at foundations of the Christian faith. There are
[54:06] Speaker 1: many of them, at least seven or eight. But I
[54:08] Speaker 1: decided to pick Jesus and to pick the Gospel. What
[54:14] Speaker 1: is the gospel exactly? Because the Bible says in Romance,
[54:18] Speaker 1: Chapter one and verse sixteen. It says, for I am
[54:21] Speaker 1: not ashamed of the Gospel, give it to us place
[54:24] Speaker 1: Romance one sixteen, I am not ashamed of the Gospel
[54:27] Speaker 1: of Christ.
[54:28] Speaker 2: It calls it the power of God onto salvation. You
[54:32] Speaker 2: know what that means.
[54:33] Speaker 1: That means that is the intelligence system that was built
[54:36] Speaker 1: in God's economy for accessing his life. You cannot find
[54:40] Speaker 1: salvation through salvation outside of the Gospel.
[54:45] Speaker 2: The Gospel is God's method of getting people saved. The
[54:49] Speaker 2: Gospel is God's method of transmuting his life to anybody
[54:53] Speaker 2: at all.
[54:55] Speaker 1: It is the power of God onto salvation to everyone
[54:59] Speaker 1: that believe, to the Jews first and also to the Greek.
[55:03] Speaker 2: So very quickly, what is the Gospel? I will give
[55:09] Speaker 2: you a summary of what the gospel is. Now.
[55:11] Speaker 1: From a theological standpoint, the word gospel means good news
[55:15] Speaker 1: or glad tidings. And from a theological standpoint, there are
[55:20] Speaker 1: seven dimensions to the gospel. But there's just one of
[55:23] Speaker 1: them that I'm going to be picking that is relevant
[55:26] Speaker 1: for a discussion tonight.
[55:27] Speaker 2: Are We Together? It's called the Gospel of Salvation.
[55:31] Speaker 1: So when I talk about the gospel, now, please have
[55:34] Speaker 1: it at the back of your mind that I refer.
[55:36] Speaker 2: To the Gospel of Salvation. So when I say what
[55:39] Speaker 2: is the gospel, I mean what is the Gospel of Salvation?
[55:42] Speaker 2: Please let me your attention look up if you can.
[55:46] Speaker 1: The Gospel of Salvation is a revelation of the Father's law,
[55:53] Speaker 1: a revelation.
[55:54] Speaker 2: Of the Father's law. Are we together?
[55:57] Speaker 1: And that that revelation happened in and through the substitutionary sacrifice.
[56:03] Speaker 2: Of this Jesus his son.
[56:05] Speaker 1: So the gospel comes as a revelation of the Father's love.
[56:10] Speaker 1: Is a description of the extent of the Father's love
[56:13] Speaker 1: for man. But that love was dramatized, that love was
[56:18] Speaker 1: exemplified a wei together. It was demonstrated in and through
[56:23] Speaker 1: the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus, the object of that sacrifice
[56:29] Speaker 1: being Man and the entire creation.
[56:32] Speaker 2: This is the Gospel of Salvation.
[56:34] Speaker 1: Now, who ever believes that gospel, and I was speak
[56:38] Speaker 1: a bit on it, whoever believes there are three rewards
[56:43] Speaker 1: that have been programmed in honor to your believe in
[56:46] Speaker 1: that gospel.
[56:47] Speaker 2: Number one is called forgiveness of sin.
[56:52] Speaker 1: Everybody who believes the Gospel of Salvation stands on legitimate
[56:58] Speaker 1: ground by the blood of the eternal Covenant, to be
[57:00] Speaker 1: a beneficiary of number one, the forgiveness of sain.
[57:05] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[57:06] Speaker 1: Number two we have access by receiving the Gospel, we
[57:10] Speaker 1: have access to the gift.
[57:12] Speaker 2: Of righteousness, the gift of righteousness.
[57:16] Speaker 1: And then number three we have access to Zway, the
[57:19] Speaker 1: life of God.
[57:22] Speaker 2: It's someone learning now.
[57:23] Speaker 1: So when the Bible talks about the Gospel, it is
[57:26] Speaker 1: a revelation of the Father's love demonstrated in and through
[57:32] Speaker 1: the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus. And when I talk about
[57:36] Speaker 1: the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, it is captured in the
[57:40] Speaker 1: threefold expression called is death, his burial, his resurrection, in
[57:46] Speaker 1: fact his accession. Because if you stop at his resurrection,
[57:52] Speaker 1: that is wonderful. But it does not stop there. The
[57:54] Speaker 1: Bible tells us that he was glorified. A coronation actually happened.
[58:00] Speaker 1: Jesus was already resurrected, but he was not coronated when
[58:03] Speaker 1: he met Mary so his death, his burial, his resurrection, his.
[58:10] Speaker 2: Ascension, his exaltation.
[58:12] Speaker 1: At the right hand of the Father is captured in
[58:15] Speaker 1: this substitutionary sacrifice. And the Bible teaches that for any
[58:21] Speaker 1: man at all, including someone listening to me right now,
[58:24] Speaker 1: including someone who has had.
[58:26] Speaker 2: A sincere heart. You've not been into this Christian church thing,
[58:30] Speaker 2: but you are listening diligently. Let me give this preacher
[58:32] Speaker 2: a chance.
[58:36] Speaker 1: I'm bringing for you good news, and the news is
[58:39] Speaker 1: that the Father loves you so much, and he demonstrated
[58:43] Speaker 1: his love by sending his son, not an angel, not
[58:49] Speaker 1: a prophet, all of them were foreign ers.
[58:52] Speaker 2: He sends his son, his then only begotten son.
[58:56] Speaker 1: That whosoever believes, whosoever means you, your spouse, your child,
[59:03] Speaker 1: someone who has lived their life, lived all kinds of things. Confused, dejected, depressed,
[59:08] Speaker 1: he says, common to me, all ye that are weary
[59:12] Speaker 1: and heavy leaded. He leaves you with an assurance. He says,
[59:15] Speaker 1: I will give you rest, and that this rest is threefold.
[59:19] Speaker 1: Number one, forgiveness of sin, for all of sin and
[59:22] Speaker 1: falling short of the glory of God. Number two, the
[59:25] Speaker 1: gift of righteousness, capacity to stand in the father's presence,
[59:30] Speaker 1: without a sense of guilt, without a sense of inferiority,
[59:35] Speaker 1: without a sense of condemnation.
[59:37] Speaker 2: This is a definition by E. W. Kenyon.
[59:39] Speaker 1: He defines righteousness as the ability to stand in the
[59:43] Speaker 1: Father's presence without a sense of guilt, a sense of inferiority,
[59:49] Speaker 1: a sense of condemnation.
[59:51] Speaker 7: I'm no longer a slave to fee child, I'm no
[1:00:05] Speaker 7: longer slay to see.
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: A Allelujah? Are we learning now? So?
[1:00:19] Speaker 1: The Gospel of Salvation, I'll repeat one last time, is
[1:00:23] Speaker 1: a revelation of the Father's love. You must have this
[1:00:25] Speaker 1: at the back of your mind. That all the dramatizations
[1:00:29] Speaker 1: that happened through the.
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: Death, burial, resurrection, exaltation.
[1:00:33] Speaker 1: Of Jesus was a painful dramatization of the extent to
[1:00:38] Speaker 1: which the Father loves.
[1:00:40] Speaker 2: You and I that was how far he was willing
[1:00:43] Speaker 2: to go to give his son.
[1:00:45] Speaker 1: The only person who came close to dramatizing that was
[1:00:48] Speaker 1: Abraham giving Isaac. He says, Abraham, take now your son
[1:00:53] Speaker 1: than only some hun thou lovest, and go and offer
[1:00:56] Speaker 1: him as a bunt of free The Bible says Abraham
[1:00:59] Speaker 1: got up early the morning and carried Isaac.
[1:01:03] Speaker 2: Unknown to Abraham.
[1:01:04] Speaker 1: He was dramatizing something that would become a reality to
[1:01:08] Speaker 1: all men. And I remember the Bible teaches that Abraham
[1:01:12] Speaker 1: plays Isaac.
[1:01:13] Speaker 2: Can you imagine romance?
[1:01:15] Speaker 1: Chapter four records his contemplations that he was willing to
[1:01:18] Speaker 1: kill Isaac and beg God to bring him back to life.
[1:01:21] Speaker 1: I would obey you, father, my son is dead, but
[1:01:24] Speaker 1: please bring him back to life, not knowing Jesus would
[1:01:28] Speaker 1: come back to life.
[1:01:30] Speaker 2: See, he was willing to kill that one son. Amazing.
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: When you want to gauge the extent of the father's love,
[1:01:48] Speaker 1: you gage it by who and what he gave. There
[1:01:54] Speaker 1: are four dimensions to love. One is called passion. Number
[1:01:58] Speaker 1: two is called commit Number three is called pleasure. Number
[1:02:03] Speaker 1: four is called sacrifice. I'm just digressing to make a
[1:02:07] Speaker 1: statement four expressions of love number one, Passion number two, commitment,
[1:02:14] Speaker 1: the staying power number three, pleasure number four sacrifice. Of
[1:02:21] Speaker 1: these four dimensions, the highest and the greatest demonstration of true.
[1:02:26] Speaker 2: Love is sacrifice. Are we together now?
[1:02:31] Speaker 1: So if someone tells you I love you, what you're
[1:02:33] Speaker 1: trying to say is I am passionate about you, I
[1:02:36] Speaker 1: am committed to you.
[1:02:38] Speaker 2: I intend to bring pleasure to.
[1:02:40] Speaker 1: Your life, as well as derived pleasure from your life.
[1:02:43] Speaker 1: But the fourth one, which most people omit intentionally. Intentionally,
[1:02:55] Speaker 1: love is not measured by how much you are willing
[1:02:57] Speaker 1: to leave. It is measured by how much you are
[1:03:00] Speaker 1: willing to die. I'm sure you're doing it here in
[1:03:04] Speaker 1: UK a day where you honor all your military people.
[1:03:08] Speaker 1: You have that day, what do you call it? Yes,
[1:03:14] Speaker 1: Remembrand's Day for the military, and you stand to give them,
[1:03:18] Speaker 1: even though dead. You salute them because their willingness to
[1:03:22] Speaker 1: give their all even to death.
[1:03:26] Speaker 2: Was proved that they not only loved you, but that
[1:03:29] Speaker 2: they loved your nation.
[1:03:30] Speaker 1: So when the Father gave Jesus, the Bible tells us
[1:03:34] Speaker 1: that Jesus himself cried at jet semone. He groaned and
[1:03:40] Speaker 1: cried until tears were like drops of blood driven from him.
[1:03:44] Speaker 1: And his prayer point was that, Father, if it is possible,
[1:03:47] Speaker 1: can't you route and not that way of making this
[1:03:50] Speaker 1: happen without me dying?
[1:03:51] Speaker 2: He said, nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done.
[1:03:55] Speaker 2: You would think that I don't prayed that much. He
[1:03:58] Speaker 2: would be spared from everything that you went through.
[1:04:02] Speaker 1: We call it in theology the passion of the Christ.
[1:04:05] Speaker 1: What you know well, most of you know it as
[1:04:06] Speaker 1: a movie, but it's a description of the torture that
[1:04:11] Speaker 1: you went through for you and for me, for status
[1:04:18] Speaker 1: he was betrayed. I don't want to ask you if
[1:04:21] Speaker 1: you've been betrayed before. Don't lift your hands. Don't lift
[1:04:24] Speaker 1: your hands, don't lift your hands.
[1:04:26] Speaker 2: Just keep it there. Let it be between you and
[1:04:29] Speaker 2: the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
[1:04:32] Speaker 1: And for those of you who are still wounded. There's
[1:04:34] Speaker 1: a bambin Gilliad in the name of Jesus Christ.
[1:04:39] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[1:04:41] Speaker 1: So I'm not going to attempt to ask you if
[1:04:43] Speaker 1: you are been betrayed, But I presume you have. All
[1:04:45] Speaker 1: you need to do is to live long enough, and
[1:04:48] Speaker 1: you will know that this world is not as friendly
[1:04:52] Speaker 1: as it propose to be.
[1:04:53] Speaker 2: As a baby, you know, babies smile in the hospital.
[1:04:56] Speaker 1: They tickle them and make them believe that it's such
[1:04:59] Speaker 1: a beautiful, flow less world.
[1:05:00] Speaker 2: And then as they grow they learned that that description
[1:05:05] Speaker 2: was not exactly accurate. Okay, but let me have your attention.
[1:05:09] Speaker 2: I hope you understand me so far. So Jesus went
[1:05:14] Speaker 2: through all of this torture emotionally.
[1:05:17] Speaker 1: He was tortured spirit soul and body, because man felt spirit,
[1:05:22] Speaker 1: soul and body. And the Bible tells us that he
[1:05:25] Speaker 1: was lacerated, he was whipped forty saved one.
[1:05:30] Speaker 2: They whipped him, and you.
[1:05:31] Speaker 1: Know the way their stripes were made, made of bones
[1:05:34] Speaker 1: and metals and needles, and you can imagine the whole
[1:05:38] Speaker 1: body bleeding.
[1:05:40] Speaker 2: And then a crown of thorn was placed upon his head,
[1:05:44] Speaker 2: and they made mockery of him, mockrey of him.
[1:05:48] Speaker 1: Then he was given a heavy cross and driven to
[1:05:51] Speaker 1: God gotter the righteous man, the sinless one, becoming.
[1:05:56] Speaker 2: Seen for those he loved. And the Father was watching
[1:06:03] Speaker 2: pain by what was happening to the son.
[1:06:05] Speaker 1: But you could not stop because through the pain of
[1:06:08] Speaker 1: the son, he saw my redemption. Through the pain of
[1:06:11] Speaker 1: the son, he saw your redemption. Through the pain of
[1:06:14] Speaker 1: the son. He saw the possibility for someone who is
[1:06:19] Speaker 1: supposedly an outcast, someone who is supposedly eliminated from the faith.
[1:06:24] Speaker 2: He saw that person coming back home. And it was
[1:06:26] Speaker 2: worth that sacrifice. The Bible tells us that when Jesus
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: was hung upon the cross, he wept. He said, a
[1:06:34] Speaker 2: loyala maxter back to knife Father, why have you turned
[1:06:37] Speaker 2: your face away from me?
[1:06:38] Speaker 1: The Father had to turn his face from him the
[1:06:41] Speaker 1: same way he turned his face from sin.
[1:06:45] Speaker 2: Then, finally, the Bible makes a very profound statement.
[1:06:49] Speaker 1: Jesus said, into your hands, I commit my spirit. Then
[1:06:53] Speaker 1: the Bible says he died. Now pause for a moment.
[1:06:57] Speaker 8: Life died, Love died, Grace died, Truth died, wisdom died,
[1:07:14] Speaker 8: Glory died.
[1:07:16] Speaker 2: That must have been in that moment in the realm
[1:07:19] Speaker 2: of the.
[1:07:19] Speaker 1: Spirit, because the angels did not have accurate understanding of
[1:07:24] Speaker 1: what was happening. They were just playing as far the
[1:07:26] Speaker 1: instructions they were receiving. I'm sure the angels, I presume
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: they were watching with shock and wonder.
[1:07:33] Speaker 2: The word dead.
[1:07:36] Speaker 1: No, come on, somebody must be joking somewhere. And the
[1:07:41] Speaker 1: Bible lets us know that when he died, you would
[1:07:43] Speaker 1: think that was the end of everything.
[1:07:46] Speaker 2: And then the same changes. Paul was granted access to this.
[1:07:51] Speaker 1: And that he went to Hayd, the place of the dead,
[1:07:56] Speaker 1: and there when he got there, the cohorts of Hell
[1:08:00] Speaker 1: were all over him to bow.
[1:08:02] Speaker 2: What is in bowing acknowledging lordship?
[1:08:06] Speaker 1: When you bow to any entity, you have submitted and
[1:08:09] Speaker 1: acknowledged lordship. And since Satan tried to negotiate it gently
[1:08:14] Speaker 1: in Matthew chapter four, and Jesus said, no, we're not
[1:08:17] Speaker 1: bow to you. The cohorts of hell, now that he
[1:08:20] Speaker 1: had become seen the Holy Spirit was not in hell
[1:08:23] Speaker 1: to assist him.
[1:08:24] Speaker 2: The announcing was not in hell to assist him.
[1:08:26] Speaker 1: No, and the Bible says, when the legal claims of
[1:08:31] Speaker 1: justice was fulfilled, he.
[1:08:34] Speaker 2: Made a public show of them worthy the land. See
[1:08:44] Speaker 2: here the throw.
[1:08:50] Speaker 6: We crown you.
[1:08:51] Speaker 2: Now with many crown you raid to.
[1:09:03] Speaker 9: Highly paid.
[1:09:09] Speaker 4: Geez of God, the darling him cru see.
[1:09:24] Speaker 6: Worthy, the.
[1:09:29] Speaker 2: Thinking about more time?
[1:09:30] Speaker 4: What is the lamp worthy?
[1:09:35] Speaker 1: The lava laa data.
[1:09:45] Speaker 6: We crowd you.
[1:09:46] Speaker 2: Now we've made crown.
[1:09:51] Speaker 4: You raise me to re geez o God, the lie.
[1:10:15] Speaker 2: To she.
[1:10:21] Speaker 6: Worthy worthy.
[1:10:35] Speaker 1: The hymn writer says, up from the grave he arose
[1:10:39] Speaker 1: with the mighty triumph for his force. He arose the
[1:10:44] Speaker 1: victor from the dark to me, and he rains and
[1:10:49] Speaker 1: leaves forever with the same Storay. Listen, ladies and gentlemen,
[1:10:57] Speaker 1: I want you to know that when Jesus triumph over sin,
[1:11:02] Speaker 1: over Satan, over Hell, over the grave, he also.
[1:11:07] Speaker 2: Triumphed over curses. He also triumph over defeat.
[1:11:13] Speaker 1: He also triumph over depression, triumph over mental health crisis.
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: He triumph over cancer. Come on now over cancer.
[1:11:24] Speaker 1: They triumph over eye blood pressure, the triumph over blindness.
[1:11:31] Speaker 2: The triumphed over deadness. I went together. Y's how he
[1:11:38] Speaker 2: said about himself, speaking with respect to this. I am here,
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: that was dead, but I'm now alive. It's true that
[1:11:45] Speaker 2: I died.
[1:11:46] Speaker 1: I died for your sake. I died for your pain.
[1:11:50] Speaker 1: I died for your sickness. I died for your sorrow.
[1:11:54] Speaker 1: I died for that misery. But now when I rose, listen,
[1:12:00] Speaker 1: now watch this.
[1:12:02] Speaker 2: Here is how the technology of redemption works.
[1:12:08] Speaker 1: That if it was seen as righteousness for an unrighteous
[1:12:14] Speaker 1: man to be or a righteous man to be declared
[1:12:18] Speaker 1: on righteous, then similarly it must also be righteous for
[1:12:25] Speaker 1: an unrighteous man. You and I through that one who
[1:12:29] Speaker 1: has died to now be declared righteous.
[1:12:33] Speaker 2: Are we together?
[1:12:36] Speaker 1: That means if God did not stop the process of
[1:12:40] Speaker 1: making righteous Jesus to become unrighteous, then God will not
[1:12:45] Speaker 1: stop the process of making any unrighteous man to be
[1:12:49] Speaker 1: declared righteous.
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: You don't have to look like it, you don't have
[1:12:55] Speaker 2: to feel like it.
[1:12:56] Speaker 1: It is a setil reality based on the integrity of scripture.
[1:13:04] Speaker 2: Are we learning now? Yes? Now, please sit down, We're
[1:13:10] Speaker 2: about to pray.
[1:13:12] Speaker 1: There are two dimensions to the Gospel. There is the
[1:13:16] Speaker 1: Gospel as a message that saves. There is the Gospel
[1:13:21] Speaker 1: as a message that saves. But there is the Gospel
[1:13:25] Speaker 1: as a value system that transforms society. We deal with
[1:13:30] Speaker 1: that at a letter session. But just for your knowledge
[1:13:34] Speaker 1: that when we talk about the Gospel, it is twofold
[1:13:37] Speaker 1: in its operation. There is the Gospel as a message
[1:13:42] Speaker 1: that saves. In fact, I think it was TL. Osborne
[1:13:45] Speaker 1: who wrote a book like that, the message that saves,
[1:13:49] Speaker 1: a message that saves, or the message that saves. Then
[1:13:52] Speaker 1: there is the value system, a mindset, a programming, a
[1:13:57] Speaker 1: mentality that can turn any society to be heaven on earth.
[1:14:03] Speaker 1: But for our discussion tonight focuses on this message. I
[1:14:08] Speaker 1: want to wrap up my teaching tonight by showing you
[1:14:12] Speaker 1: what is in that message. What is in the message
[1:14:19] Speaker 1: when you hear the gospel. Ladies and gentlemen, please listen
[1:14:22] Speaker 1: to me.
[1:14:23] Speaker 2: What was put in that message?
[1:14:25] Speaker 1: Why is the message so important? Why do we travel
[1:14:28] Speaker 1: around the world bringing that message to people that the Father,
[1:14:32] Speaker 1: regardless who you are, that the Father loved you, he
[1:14:36] Speaker 1: loved you with an everlasting love, and he gave Jesus.
[1:14:39] Speaker 2: Are we together? He gave Jesus as a ransome. Now,
[1:14:44] Speaker 2: the word.
[1:14:45] Speaker 1: Ransom is an interesting word. You have to understand, unfortunately,
[1:14:48] Speaker 1: how terrorists work. So when they kidnap an individual, they
[1:14:54] Speaker 1: try to make contact with the family and they call
[1:14:57] Speaker 1: out any amount, usually an ambitious amount, dangerously ambitious, maybe
[1:15:05] Speaker 1: one hundred thousand pounds, five hundred thousand pounds, one million
[1:15:10] Speaker 1: pounds in fact, and they say, if you cannot bring this,
[1:15:13] Speaker 1: your daughter or your son would be killed. And they
[1:15:16] Speaker 1: usually would give time into it. And because the father
[1:15:20] Speaker 1: loves his daughter or his son so much, even if
[1:15:24] Speaker 1: the money has been budgeted for something else, he would
[1:15:27] Speaker 1: have to reprioritize and change every other thing and then
[1:15:31] Speaker 1: finally bring the ransom.
[1:15:33] Speaker 2: So the word.
[1:15:34] Speaker 1: Redeem means to buy back by penay price, to buy
[1:15:39] Speaker 1: back by paena price. Man willingly gave himself and gave
[1:15:44] Speaker 1: the authority of earth to Satan by reason of jerelessness,
[1:15:48] Speaker 1: as captured in the garden of Eden, and Jesus had
[1:15:51] Speaker 1: to come on legal grounds to redeem man.
[1:15:56] Speaker 2: Are we together now? Yes?
[1:15:58] Speaker 1: And he went through all of that for you and
[1:16:02] Speaker 1: for me, what is in this message? Why do we
[1:16:06] Speaker 1: preach it across the globe? Why do we heraled Jesus
[1:16:11] Speaker 1: and herald the gospel as a message that saves.
[1:16:14] Speaker 2: Number one in the message that saves is love. The
[1:16:20] Speaker 2: first revelation or the first time what do I call
[1:16:25] Speaker 2: it now? The first blessing? That is half charging the
[1:16:28] Speaker 2: message called the gospel is love.
[1:16:33] Speaker 1: That when you preach the gospel, you give people a
[1:16:36] Speaker 1: chance to encounter.
[1:16:38] Speaker 2: The love of God. And love is the cure to hear.
[1:16:43] Speaker 1: The Bible says perfect love, Love that is perfected can
[1:16:47] Speaker 1: drive away fear, fear of what, fear of yesterday, fear
[1:16:52] Speaker 1: of today, fear of tomorrow, fear of making it or
[1:16:56] Speaker 1: not making it?
[1:16:57] Speaker 2: Are we together now? Do you know? Look up? Please?
[1:17:00] Speaker 1: I don't know if that happens here and leaves and
[1:17:01] Speaker 1: in UK, but our world is gradually plunging into fear.
[1:17:06] Speaker 1: You find young people living in fear, business people living
[1:17:09] Speaker 1: in fear.
[1:17:11] Speaker 2: I'm sure UK was also impacted by COVID. Say that,
[1:17:17] Speaker 2: do you know that there are people since COVID have.
[1:17:20] Speaker 1: Not been able to gain your footing again as business people,
[1:17:23] Speaker 1: as parents.
[1:17:24] Speaker 2: There are people who live in here will another pandemic.
[1:17:27] Speaker 1: Come yes or no? And if it does, what happens
[1:17:30] Speaker 1: to me? How about fear of meeting your bills? How
[1:17:33] Speaker 1: about fear of you know tomorrow? How about fear of
[1:17:37] Speaker 1: what your children become. There are people who have diseases today,
[1:17:42] Speaker 1: not traceable to jams, not treasable to viruses. It's a
[1:17:46] Speaker 1: psychological problem, fear, I tell you. The cure to fear,
[1:17:51] Speaker 1: in addition to counseling, is to understand the message of
[1:17:55] Speaker 1: the love of the Father, that if the Father could
[1:17:58] Speaker 1: dive Jesus, what will leave give you? If the Father
[1:18:03] Speaker 1: could give Jesus. Is it a mortgage problem he cannot sort?
[1:18:08] Speaker 1: Is it a health problem? Will you put Jesus and
[1:18:11] Speaker 1: a health problem side by side? So it gives you
[1:18:13] Speaker 1: confidence and boldness to know that if he gives something nobler,
[1:18:18] Speaker 1: someone greater, in fact, the greatest of all gifts, he
[1:18:21] Speaker 1: will give you anything of lesser value.
[1:18:25] Speaker 2: Love the you, or to fear.
[1:18:28] Speaker 1: I have indoctrinated myself into believing that God loves me.
[1:18:32] Speaker 2: He really does. He loves me. He's shown me a
[1:18:36] Speaker 2: thousand times. I was taught to world person. Nathaniel was
[1:18:39] Speaker 2: singing the song a Shay you know. I just I
[1:18:43] Speaker 2: just stood there and I was just meditating on the
[1:18:46] Speaker 2: goodness of God.
[1:18:48] Speaker 1: If God never blesses me again as a man of God,
[1:18:51] Speaker 1: I'm still the most grateful person. He's done too much
[1:18:54] Speaker 1: in my life. He's done too much. He's shown me messy,
[1:18:58] Speaker 1: He's shown me grace.
[1:18:59] Speaker 2: He is shown me kindness, the Gospel, the Gospel. Thank you.
[1:19:10] Speaker 2: It's someone learning now.
[1:19:14] Speaker 1: I remember days when we would watch Billy Graham and
[1:19:17] Speaker 1: watch all of these patriots, and I remember I would
[1:19:20] Speaker 1: sit down quietly just watching on television, hoping that one
[1:19:24] Speaker 1: day we'll have a chance to make our own mac
[1:19:27] Speaker 1: These are.
[1:19:27] Speaker 2: The days, these had the days.
[1:19:34] Speaker 1: Now Billy Graham's are gone. Rein had Buncas are gone.
[1:19:38] Speaker 1: Tl Osborne's are gone. Declared the stage for us, and
[1:19:46] Speaker 1: we must hold that gospel and blaze that fire with.
[1:19:50] Speaker 2: The same favancy. Until now.
[1:19:57] Speaker 1: Every time I watch there and you their teachings at all,
[1:20:01] Speaker 1: I'm so inspired.
[1:20:02] Speaker 2: Sometimes I get emotional.
[1:20:04] Speaker 1: And I'm thinking, my God, do you know that some
[1:20:07] Speaker 1: of them stood on some of these stages that were
[1:20:10] Speaker 1: honored to nownstand him?
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: Some of them were there.
[1:20:13] Speaker 1: Perhaps I don't know if this was already built by
[1:20:16] Speaker 1: then you see that, I'm sure somewhere across the UK,
[1:20:21] Speaker 1: somewhere across America, and now His Majesty has given us
[1:20:25] Speaker 1: that honor to stand and push this glorious gospel that
[1:20:31] Speaker 1: Jesus loves, he saves, he heals, he delivers, he transforms.
[1:20:35] Speaker 1: He can't turn any life to look like glory, to
[1:20:38] Speaker 1: be glory and expression of his love.
[1:20:41] Speaker 2: What is in the message love? Number two? What is
[1:20:47] Speaker 2: in the message peace? Peace with God and the peace
[1:20:52] Speaker 2: of God. Peace with God?
[1:20:56] Speaker 1: You will never find peace in this troubled world. I
[1:20:59] Speaker 1: tell you Romance, Chapter fight and Verse one, Peace with God.
[1:21:05] Speaker 1: Romans Fife and vers one being justified by faith leaves UK.
[1:21:11] Speaker 1: We have peace with God.
[1:21:14] Speaker 2: Do you know what that means?
[1:21:16] Speaker 1: That for you today, if for any reason you transit
[1:21:20] Speaker 1: in glory and you are normal, that statement rests.
[1:21:24] Speaker 2: In peace is not for everyone? Did you what I said?
[1:21:28] Speaker 2: Of course, I know we put it just stampete on grapes,
[1:21:31] Speaker 2: but believe me, based on.
[1:21:33] Speaker 1: The authority of scripture, the Bible says disappointed onto man.
[1:21:38] Speaker 2: To die once and after that the judgment.
[1:21:41] Speaker 1: It is only when you receive that message and the
[1:21:46] Speaker 1: person Jesus that you you don't have to die to
[1:21:50] Speaker 1: rest in peace.
[1:21:51] Speaker 2: Rest in peace is not a statement for dead people.
[1:21:54] Speaker 1: Rest in peace is a statement for those who have
[1:21:56] Speaker 1: received the peace of God.
[1:22:00] Speaker 2: You can rest in peace while you are alive. Are
[1:22:03] Speaker 2: we together? So now, rest in peace is not an insult.
[1:22:06] Speaker 1: It's not an advocacy that you die.
[1:22:09] Speaker 2: It's a blessing. Well to those who are listening to me. Now,
[1:22:15] Speaker 2: So that you don't tell someone who rest in peace
[1:22:17] Speaker 2: and then they call the called are we together? Don't
[1:22:24] Speaker 2: go around shouting.
[1:22:24] Speaker 1: Rest in peace to someone and say, look, I was thought.
[1:22:27] Speaker 2: It's a blessing. So bless wiki as a language among ourselves.
[1:22:32] Speaker 1: You don't, well, you tell them live in peace. I
[1:22:35] Speaker 1: think that's the Once you mentioned life, they are ready
[1:22:37] Speaker 1: to receive.
[1:22:38] Speaker 2: So live in peace. Are we together?
[1:22:42] Speaker 1: Philippians Chapter one, verse six. So we have peace with God,
[1:22:47] Speaker 1: and then we have the peace of God. You need
[1:22:51] Speaker 1: both peace with God and.
[1:22:53] Speaker 2: The peace of God.
[1:22:55] Speaker 1: The Bible says, the anxious for nothing, but in everything
[1:22:58] Speaker 1: by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, Let your request be
[1:23:02] Speaker 1: known onto God verse seven. Now and the peace of God,
[1:23:09] Speaker 1: which pass it all understanding, Let it keep your heart
[1:23:14] Speaker 1: and your mind. Someone lay your hand on your chest
[1:23:16] Speaker 1: and say I receive peace, or you need it in
[1:23:19] Speaker 1: this troubled world.
[1:23:20] Speaker 2: Say it again, I receive peace.
[1:23:23] Speaker 1: I receive peace. Yes, you need to prophosi with the
[1:23:29] Speaker 1: peace of God. Someone again, say I have peace. Refuse
[1:23:34] Speaker 1: to be troubled.
[1:23:34] Speaker 6: You have peace.
[1:23:35] Speaker 1: It doesn't mean to be irresponsible, but that, regardless what
[1:23:39] Speaker 1: it is, mountains or valleys, you approach them.
[1:23:42] Speaker 2: Knowing that the Prince of Peace He's given you peace.
[1:23:45] Speaker 2: And the Bible says further, now.
[1:23:47] Speaker 1: The Lord of Peace himself give you peace all ways,
[1:23:51] Speaker 1: by all means, always, by all means, always, by all means.
[1:23:58] Speaker 2: Let me tell you the truth.
[1:24:00] Speaker 1: I have made up my mind, first as a believer,
[1:24:02] Speaker 1: then as a man of God, that I will never
[1:24:05] Speaker 1: allow anything in life to stop me from sleeping.
[1:24:16] Speaker 2: For someone.
[1:24:17] Speaker 1: After this conference, go home and sleep. Go home for
[1:24:23] Speaker 1: God's sake and sleep a personal I have one week
[1:24:28] Speaker 1: as go home. Which of you, by worrying, can add
[1:24:35] Speaker 1: one cubit? Worried does not help anything. It destroys everything,
[1:24:40] Speaker 1: even what is already working.
[1:24:42] Speaker 2: It destroys it.
[1:24:44] Speaker 1: Psychologists will teach us that you're you're unable to make
[1:24:47] Speaker 1: wise decisions when you are tellst when you are worried.
[1:24:50] Speaker 1: Even intelligent people make foolish decisions when you're depressed and worried.
[1:24:57] Speaker 2: Ah, my soul, find rest, Find rest, Find God is
[1:25:01] Speaker 2: in control.
[1:25:02] Speaker 1: I may not know the way of the wind, know
[1:25:04] Speaker 1: how bones are formed in the womb of how who
[1:25:06] Speaker 1: is with child? But one thing I know is that
[1:25:09] Speaker 1: if God is for me, no one can be against me.
[1:25:13] Speaker 1: He gave Jesus for my peace. He will give anything
[1:25:17] Speaker 1: for my peace. He gave Jesus for my peace. He
[1:25:21] Speaker 1: will give anything for my peace.
[1:25:26] Speaker 10: I will sorry you above the storm. Father, You are king,
[1:25:37] Speaker 10: and I will be still.
[1:25:39] Speaker 2: Let know you loger, I will be hallelujah.
[1:25:50] Speaker 1: What is in the message salvation? As Chapter one, verse twelve.
[1:25:55] Speaker 1: What is in the message salvation is the what saw
[1:25:58] Speaker 1: terrier you say, holistic representation of liberty salvation?
[1:26:05] Speaker 2: What is in the message?
[1:26:06] Speaker 1: The Bible says, neither is their salvation in any other
[1:26:12] Speaker 1: les uk.
[1:26:14] Speaker 2: There are many things that can be therapeutic. There are
[1:26:18] Speaker 2: many things that are beneficial.
[1:26:21] Speaker 1: Thank God for medicine, thank God for therapists, thank God
[1:26:25] Speaker 1: for counselors, thank God for wonderful family members, thank God
[1:26:30] Speaker 1: for good preachers.
[1:26:31] Speaker 2: Thank God for parents. But yea me.
[1:26:35] Speaker 1: Neither is their salvation in any other for there is
[1:26:39] Speaker 1: none other name under.
[1:26:42] Speaker 2: Heaven that is given among men whereby we must be saved.
[1:26:48] Speaker 2: That means any.
[1:26:50] Speaker 1: Other name you bring as a drug, as a consultant,
[1:26:54] Speaker 1: as a man of God. They are names, and thank
[1:26:57] Speaker 1: God for their contribution. But you will never have holdsome salvation.
[1:27:02] Speaker 2: Until you come to Jesus, so says the Bible.
[1:27:07] Speaker 1: There is no other name. Hm, there is no other name,
[1:27:11] Speaker 1: and my God. In this world there are many names.
[1:27:14] Speaker 2: I'll give you an.
[1:27:15] Speaker 1: Example with all joy doctors, consultants, engineers, IT specialists, financial experts.
[1:27:25] Speaker 1: These are wonderful names. These are names that every troubled
[1:27:29] Speaker 1: person wants to hear. The police, the military, law enforcement agents,
[1:27:35] Speaker 1: a good lawyer, wonderful attorney.
[1:27:37] Speaker 2: These are names that we cherish so much.
[1:27:40] Speaker 1: We pay to have those names close to us because
[1:27:43] Speaker 1: they represent security.
[1:27:44] Speaker 2: And here the Bible tells us that true.
[1:27:47] Speaker 1: Salvation, so terrier souso, comes when we call upon the
[1:27:52] Speaker 1: name of the Lord. For the name of the Lord
[1:27:55] Speaker 1: is the strong power, the Bible says. The righteous they
[1:27:59] Speaker 1: run to eat, and they are saying.
[1:28:03] Speaker 2: Jesus is the name, not Joshuah. Salmon Josh Salmon only
[1:28:08] Speaker 2: lifts the name Jesus is the name are way together.
[1:28:15] Speaker 2: When I say Jesus, I don't just mean j E.
[1:28:18] Speaker 2: S u. S is the ethnic description of the person
[1:28:23] Speaker 2: who owns that name. He's the word his Lord Jesus,
[1:28:29] Speaker 2: as we know.
[1:28:29] Speaker 1: And as we call it, was the ethnic description to
[1:28:34] Speaker 1: such a person. So don't call it like a Jenny
[1:28:38] Speaker 1: j E. S U s Like you're holding onto a charm.
[1:28:41] Speaker 1: It has no power. First and foremost, you are even
[1:28:44] Speaker 1: wrong in the pronunciation. But when we say Jesus, we
[1:28:51] Speaker 1: want the nations to know that the king we are
[1:28:53] Speaker 1: talking about, the savior we're talking about, is the one
[1:28:57] Speaker 1: who walked upon the earth bearing the name.
[1:29:00] Speaker 2: Yes, sure Jesus, are we together.
[1:29:11] Speaker 7: Our God?
[1:29:14] Speaker 2: Please cham here He rais.
[1:29:20] Speaker 5: For more.
[1:29:27] Speaker 2: For a.
[1:29:33] Speaker 1: So in the message the Gospel, the message that saves
[1:29:38] Speaker 1: is the Love of God revealed. We find love the
[1:29:40] Speaker 1: cure to fear.
[1:29:42] Speaker 2: In the message is peace, Peace with God and the
[1:29:46] Speaker 2: peace of God. In the message is salvation wholesome.
[1:29:51] Speaker 1: Salvation includes deliverance, includes breakthrough.
[1:29:56] Speaker 2: Finally, for a session tonight.
[1:29:58] Speaker 1: In the message that say is Dominion Romans five seventeen. Dominion,
[1:30:05] Speaker 1: it is not just a message that gives peace, that
[1:30:09] Speaker 1: reveals love that saves, but it enthrones. For if by
[1:30:16] Speaker 1: one man's offense, death reigned by one, it says much more,
[1:30:23] Speaker 1: they which received a bondance of grace and of the
[1:30:27] Speaker 1: gift of righteousness, shall reign in life.
[1:30:31] Speaker 2: By one Jesus Christ. That means the Gospel gives you
[1:30:36] Speaker 2: access to get back to.
[1:30:38] Speaker 1: Your original status, to now reign as a king and
[1:30:42] Speaker 1: as a priest onto God Romance five I mean Revelations
[1:30:46] Speaker 1: five ten. We have been made onto our God, kings
[1:30:49] Speaker 1: and priests, and the Bible says we shall reign on earth.
[1:30:55] Speaker 1: What do you lose when you reject the Gospel? Number
[1:30:58] Speaker 1: one and of portus unity to see, understand, and experience
[1:31:02] Speaker 1: the love of God as revealed in Christ Jesus, What
[1:31:06] Speaker 1: do I lose Joshah Salman if I reject the Gospel
[1:31:09] Speaker 1: an opportunity to taste of peace that the world cannot leave.
[1:31:14] Speaker 2: The peace with God and the peace of God.
[1:31:17] Speaker 1: Peace more superior than any medical attention can provide peace,
[1:31:22] Speaker 1: more superior than any law enforcement agency can provide peace,
[1:31:27] Speaker 1: more superior than any legal practitioner, no matter how professional,
[1:31:32] Speaker 1: can provide peace that no home can give you, no
[1:31:36] Speaker 1: matter the price, peace with God. What do you stand
[1:31:41] Speaker 1: to lose when you reject Jesus and reject this gospel
[1:31:46] Speaker 1: that has changed millions across.
[1:31:48] Speaker 2: The globe through history.
[1:31:50] Speaker 1: You stand to lose an opportunity to experience salvation, the
[1:31:55] Speaker 1: greatest expression of it being the life of God. Freedom
[1:31:58] Speaker 1: from sin, freedom from oppression, freedom from yokes, freedom from curses,
[1:32:05] Speaker 1: freedom from ill speakings, negative programmings. What do you stand
[1:32:11] Speaker 1: to lose when you reject Jesus? Because you have the
[1:32:14] Speaker 1: right to reject Jesus. You can reject Jesus and God
[1:32:19] Speaker 1: will honor your decision. But with that decision will come
[1:32:24] Speaker 1: the consequences. As a mention in them, you will never
[1:32:28] Speaker 1: truly be able to reign in life. And you may
[1:32:31] Speaker 1: think that here and their things are working in your
[1:32:34] Speaker 1: life without Jesus.
[1:32:35] Speaker 2: Now, let me tell you something about Satan. For many years,
[1:32:38] Speaker 2: he can allow you to play around with your life,
[1:32:41] Speaker 2: and in one.
[1:32:41] Speaker 1: Moment he will strike and bring your word crumbling. The
[1:32:46] Speaker 1: Bible says Babylon, Babylon.
[1:32:48] Speaker 2: The Great in one hour is your destruction. Comp That
[1:32:52] Speaker 2: was a formidable city that was captured within what's a
[1:33:00] Speaker 2: metaphor the kings of the earth.
[1:33:04] Speaker 1: One that at that edity is called Barbylon an antichrist system.
[1:33:08] Speaker 2: But in one hour everything came crumbling.
[1:33:13] Speaker 1: I can tell you everything you have minors, God is
[1:33:18] Speaker 1: only a mirage.
[1:33:20] Speaker 2: It's a matter of time.
[1:33:22] Speaker 1: Many people live to their graves, even though successful, as
[1:33:26] Speaker 1: the world calls success. They live with lots of money, pounds, dollars,
[1:33:32] Speaker 1: flourishing businesses.
[1:33:34] Speaker 2: And you know, chances are excellent that when you are
[1:33:36] Speaker 2: very comfortable without Jesus, you feel, what do I need
[1:33:40] Speaker 2: Jesus for?
[1:33:41] Speaker 1: I'm a millionnaire? What do I need Jesus for? I'm
[1:33:43] Speaker 1: a professor? Perhaps, what do I need Jesus for? I'm
[1:33:47] Speaker 1: doing well, fined by myself. I'm my own whatever it is.
[1:33:51] Speaker 2: You know, you're just reason things out and you say
[1:33:54] Speaker 2: I'm fine and comfortable.
[1:33:55] Speaker 1: I respect your orientation, I respect your conviction.
[1:34:00] Speaker 2: Or leaves uk.
[1:34:01] Speaker 1: Let me propose for you a more superior life than
[1:34:05] Speaker 1: that which you have experienced. I present to you tonight, Jesus,
[1:34:10] Speaker 1: the Bread of life. I present to you tonight, Jesus,
[1:34:15] Speaker 1: the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. I
[1:34:18] Speaker 1: present to you tonight, Jesus, the Captain of your salvation.
[1:34:23] Speaker 1: I present to you tonight, Jesus, the one who will
[1:34:26] Speaker 1: judge the living under dead. I present to you tonight, Jesus,
[1:34:30] Speaker 1: the fountain of wisdom. I present to you, Jesus, the
[1:34:34] Speaker 1: mediator of the new Covenant. I present to you, Jesus,
[1:34:38] Speaker 1: the door into a new and a living way, a
[1:34:41] Speaker 1: richer and more superior spiritual experience.
[1:34:47] Speaker 2: A post of what do I need?
[1:34:49] Speaker 1: I'm already convinced you've spoken so well about this, Jesus.
[1:34:54] Speaker 1: What exams do I need to write? How much do
[1:34:57] Speaker 1: I need to pay? Unfortunately? The pride has been fully paid,
[1:35:03] Speaker 1: fully paid? What manner of love is this? That you
[1:35:11] Speaker 1: not only revealed your state, but you went further to
[1:35:14] Speaker 1: pay that price, and that the only thing you do?
[1:35:17] Speaker 2: Now? Please look up, Please look up, Please look up,
[1:35:20] Speaker 2: Please look up. Let me have your attention. I want
[1:35:21] Speaker 2: to say something very serious.
[1:35:23] Speaker 1: Now, what you do with Jesus determines what your life becomes.
[1:35:30] Speaker 1: In the Bible, many people were in proximity with Jesus.
[1:35:35] Speaker 1: Some were interested in making money out of Jesus. We
[1:35:40] Speaker 1: call them judas. Others were interested in climbing the ladder
[1:35:45] Speaker 1: of influence through Jesus. We call them Peter and John
[1:35:51] Speaker 1: and brought their mothers to help them in that political campaign.
[1:35:57] Speaker 2: They were interested in being positioned left and right. Are
[1:36:01] Speaker 2: we together?
[1:36:03] Speaker 1: Others were non challenged about Jesus. They were just happy
[1:36:08] Speaker 1: that they were around this celebrity who they hoped one
[1:36:11] Speaker 1: day would conquer herald Caesar and be seated as king
[1:36:17] Speaker 1: and sort all of them by positioning them various cabinets.
[1:36:23] Speaker 1: And so when Jesus didn't seem to say anything about
[1:36:25] Speaker 1: fighting conquests, they got angry and they said, you better
[1:36:29] Speaker 1: don't play with us. We left everything to follow you.
[1:36:32] Speaker 1: It was not love, It was ambition. Because the ambitions
[1:36:37] Speaker 1: were tested one by one. They said, we've left all
[1:36:40] Speaker 1: to follow.
[1:36:41] Speaker 2: You give us good news. They said, well, you keep following.
[1:36:45] Speaker 2: And no man who has left me left father more
[1:36:48] Speaker 2: than so on and so forth.
[1:36:50] Speaker 1: And they were angry when they caught Jesus then left
[1:36:53] Speaker 1: without thinking. They were already planning to leave.
[1:36:56] Speaker 2: They just needed an occasion to empower them to leave.
[1:37:01] Speaker 2: And a luyer.
[1:37:03] Speaker 1: You can use Jesus as an instrument to make money.
[1:37:08] Speaker 1: You can use Jesus as an investment. Unfortunately many are
[1:37:12] Speaker 1: doing so. They don't love him, They just want to
[1:37:15] Speaker 1: use him as an idea.
[1:37:16] Speaker 2: That produces profit.
[1:37:20] Speaker 1: You can use Jesus as a charm just to get
[1:37:24] Speaker 1: quick breakthrough and whatever, and then I'm not interested in
[1:37:27] Speaker 1: a relationship. I hear there is one spiritual concept called Jesus.
[1:37:31] Speaker 1: Now I need a miracle. Jesus show up, and that's it.
[1:37:34] Speaker 1: But let me tell you the most profitable.
[1:37:36] Speaker 2: Way of engaging with Jesus.
[1:37:39] Speaker 1: To come to him as you are in total brokenness
[1:37:43] Speaker 1: and repentance, to receive the forgiveness of sin, to be
[1:37:47] Speaker 1: called the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and to
[1:37:50] Speaker 1: receive that life that begins.
[1:37:53] Speaker 2: For you a new day, a new experience. I came
[1:37:58] Speaker 2: tonight with a burden by the spirit.
[1:38:01] Speaker 1: If we must contend for the faith that once once delivered,
[1:38:05] Speaker 1: we must return back to the preaching of the Gospel
[1:38:09] Speaker 1: as the epicenter of everything that we do. We can
[1:38:14] Speaker 1: discuss business is wonderful. We can discuss keys to breakthroughs wonderful.
[1:38:20] Speaker 1: We can discusse principles of favor, greatness, breakthroughs, even miracles,
[1:38:26] Speaker 1: science and wonders.
[1:38:27] Speaker 2: All of those things are you know, they're wonderful. But
[1:38:34] Speaker 2: the centrality of the Christians experience must be Jesus.
[1:38:39] Speaker 1: And let me tell you this, Only the Gospel presents
[1:38:43] Speaker 1: Jesus in his truest form. If you can draw principles
[1:38:50] Speaker 1: out of the life of Jesus, you can draw principles
[1:38:54] Speaker 1: of business.
[1:38:55] Speaker 2: Principles of family life, finances.
[1:38:58] Speaker 1: But the trust you want to see, the strength the
[1:39:01] Speaker 1: love of Jesus, then you preach the Gospel, the Gospel
[1:39:05] Speaker 1: that saves. That is when you will see Jesus in
[1:39:08] Speaker 1: the truest fate, as revealed as the love of the Father, as.
[1:39:13] Speaker 2: The peace of God, as the wisdom of God.
[1:39:18] Speaker 1: Scattered across this beautiful auditorium tonight are precious men and women.
[1:39:25] Speaker 2: You came here.
[1:39:26] Speaker 1: Invited, came here excited, and through the worship, through the prayer,
[1:39:32] Speaker 1: now listening to me teach, the spirit of God began
[1:39:36] Speaker 1: to convict you.
[1:39:37] Speaker 2: From the time I came up stage.
[1:39:38] Speaker 1: Here, as I began to describe Jesus to you, it
[1:39:43] Speaker 1: was as though I were describing a stranger, a stranger
[1:39:46] Speaker 1: you've always wanted to know, a stranger You've always wanted
[1:39:50] Speaker 1: to love, beyond the religiosity of church, beyond religion, beyond fanatism.
[1:39:59] Speaker 2: That you desire a rich relationship with that Jesus.
[1:40:05] Speaker 1: That thousands of people here are saying, apostle, if you
[1:40:07] Speaker 1: will give you an opportunity right now, I will make
[1:40:11] Speaker 1: this Jesus.
[1:40:12] Speaker 2: Lord of my life. I have heard you. I desire
[1:40:15] Speaker 2: this gift of the forgiveness, of saying righteousness and the
[1:40:21] Speaker 2: life of God. I want to give you a chance
[1:40:25] Speaker 2: right now to make this decision. Now. Please look at me.
[1:40:32] Speaker 1: One gift that God gave every man, including everyone looking
[1:40:36] Speaker 1: at me and the many who have fallen online, is
[1:40:39] Speaker 1: the gift the power to choose. You can choose to
[1:40:44] Speaker 1: reject Jesus. You can choose to accept Jesus. It is
[1:40:49] Speaker 1: within your power. You can listen to me and say,
[1:40:51] Speaker 1: what a great preacher, beautifully painted teacher using words and
[1:40:57] Speaker 1: stop there. But I want to tell you that you
[1:41:00] Speaker 1: will never find true salvation any other way. The Bible
[1:41:04] Speaker 1: teaches that true salvation only comes by accepting the substitutionary
[1:41:10] Speaker 1: sacrifice of Jesus.
[1:41:12] Speaker 2: To believe that he walked upon the earth and live
[1:41:16] Speaker 2: a sinless life.
[1:41:18] Speaker 1: To believe that for your sake, he died for your sake,
[1:41:24] Speaker 1: He was buried for your sake, He went to head
[1:41:28] Speaker 1: for your sake. He resurrected by the glory of the
[1:41:32] Speaker 1: Father for your sake. He is ascended today, seated.
[1:41:36] Speaker 2: At the right hand of the Father, and he wants
[1:41:38] Speaker 2: to give you a chance.
[1:41:40] Speaker 1: He sends us all the way from Africa to bring
[1:41:43] Speaker 1: you this message that saves. Simple but powerful, simple but potent,
[1:41:52] Speaker 1: is the message that has changed our lives. We did
[1:41:55] Speaker 1: not invent the message. It came from the Bible. This
[1:41:59] Speaker 1: is a real button that was given to us. Many
[1:42:03] Speaker 1: preached this message even before we were born. Many of
[1:42:05] Speaker 1: them have joined the cloud of witnesses.
[1:42:08] Speaker 2: We're honored and privileged to hold that button and to
[1:42:11] Speaker 2: drum it right now that Jesus still.
[1:42:14] Speaker 1: Saves, Jesus still heals, Jesus still delivers. I'm going to
[1:42:21] Speaker 1: count one to five, beloved brothers and sisters, for the
[1:42:24] Speaker 1: many who are in this auditorium who came with hunger
[1:42:27] Speaker 1: in your heart listening to me and being convicted like
[1:42:30] Speaker 1: the men at Emaus. Whilst you heard me speak, the
[1:42:33] Speaker 1: Holy Spirit began to precky your heart.
[1:42:36] Speaker 2: That your heart is now burning.
[1:42:38] Speaker 1: You are saying, I need this Jesus. I'm tired of
[1:42:41] Speaker 1: playing games, tired of playing church. I sincerely want to
[1:42:45] Speaker 1: make it right with Jesus. For those who are watching online,
[1:42:47] Speaker 1: across the airwaves and the many who are here. I
[1:42:51] Speaker 1: want to give you an opportunity. I know that we
[1:42:53] Speaker 1: have limited space in front, but I'm going to ask
[1:42:56] Speaker 1: you as an act of total surrender, humility, brokenness. I'm
[1:43:01] Speaker 1: going to count one to five, and I'll request that
[1:43:03] Speaker 1: you leave your seat if you can, and come stand
[1:43:06] Speaker 1: right in front of me. We can make use of
[1:43:09] Speaker 1: the extreme asles. There are people who need to make
[1:43:12] Speaker 1: that decision right now. I want you to stand and
[1:43:16] Speaker 1: come right to me. Don't sit back. If you hear
[1:43:21] Speaker 1: this word, he's calling you. He wants to give you
[1:43:23] Speaker 1: a new beginning. Come, I begin my accounting.
[1:43:26] Speaker 6: Now.
[1:43:27] Speaker 1: Come come, hallelujah. Come, come, young and old, Come to Jesus.
[1:43:44] Speaker 1: God bless you. Let encourage them.
[1:43:47] Speaker 6: Leave.
[1:43:47] Speaker 2: God bless you, God bless you. Thank you, God bless you.
[1:43:54] Speaker 2: God bless you, God bless you.
[1:43:59] Speaker 1: If the front is at, I said, you can stand
[1:44:00] Speaker 1: at the els. You can stand at the ouse. That's fine.
[1:44:08] Speaker 1: Once we have the front, Exo said, I see so
[1:44:10] Speaker 1: many people at the ols, so you can stand there.
[1:44:14] Speaker 2: It's a sign of surrender. I see you, and Jesus
[1:44:16] Speaker 2: is seeing you.
[1:44:18] Speaker 1: For those who are in front here, we can give
[1:44:20] Speaker 1: them the liberty to just feel up the space in
[1:44:22] Speaker 1: front and then everyone else. I'm watching you right where
[1:44:25] Speaker 1: you are, Kim club in. They're coming, keep coming, keep coming.
[1:44:31] Speaker 1: God bless you for someone watching somewhere in Africa. You're
[1:44:36] Speaker 1: watching in the US, watching in Canada, India, China, somewhere
[1:44:42] Speaker 1: across Europe. This is Sound of Revival UK twenty twenty four,
[1:44:47] Speaker 1: while the beautiful city of Leaves winning souls for Jesus.
[1:44:52] Speaker 1: You can join to make this noble decision right now.
[1:44:55] Speaker 1: They are possible if you will.
[1:44:57] Speaker 4: Give me a chance.
[1:44:58] Speaker 2: I want to make it right us. I want to
[1:45:01] Speaker 2: make it right with Jesus. I want to make it
[1:45:05] Speaker 2: right with Jesus. One more minute.
[1:45:06] Speaker 1: They're still coming. Let's clap for them. Let's encourage them
[1:45:09] Speaker 1: as a cough. Let's encourage them as the cough. They're
[1:45:13] Speaker 1: standing at the various house. My God, such a great harvest.
[1:45:18] Speaker 1: Hallenju Jah prays.
[1:45:20] Speaker 2: The name of the Lord.
[1:45:22] Speaker 1: Now, apologies to the many of you at the isles.
[1:45:24] Speaker 1: I'm sure that you may not be giving the liberty
[1:45:27] Speaker 1: to cross to come here, but I'm going to leave
[1:45:29] Speaker 1: you to pray that prayer and right where you are.
[1:45:31] Speaker 1: In addition to the few who are here in front.
[1:45:34] Speaker 1: I want you to make that decision with all your heart,
[1:45:37] Speaker 1: with all your heart.
[1:45:39] Speaker 2: Now you would.
[1:45:40] Speaker 1: Notice that they are decision cards that are given to you.

[1:46:06] Speaker 1: I'm standing to see what is going on. The hours
[1:46:11] Speaker 1: are literally from this road to that road, to that role.
[1:46:14] Speaker 1: Let's give Jesus a praise for a great harvest.
[1:46:19] Speaker 2: Hallelujah in the name of Jesus.
[1:46:24] Speaker 1: That's an altar call too, right there, my goodness, Let's
[1:46:28] Speaker 1: give Jesus praise.
