[0:02] Speaker 1: Help us welcome the president of Eternity Network International, Koinonia Ministries,
[0:09] Speaker 1: Apostle Joshua Selman to the altar of mercy tonight.
[0:15] Speaker 2: Let your excitement show. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Gateway, can you give
[0:30] Speaker 2: Jesus a big hand of praise? Big hand of praise.
[0:38] Speaker 2: Thank you so much for this opportunity. It's always a
[0:43] Speaker 2: joy to come and fellowship with us. The next time
[0:46] Speaker 2: I come here, you tell me, welcome home. Hallelujah. Praise
[0:51] Speaker 2: the name of the Lord. Please, while standing, can we
[0:54] Speaker 2: honor God's servant, Reverend George. Let's give him a befitting welcome.
[0:59] Speaker 2: God bless you for this major apostolic work. We honor you.
[1:03] Speaker 2: We salute you. And the lieutenants that hold your hands,
[1:08] Speaker 2: thank you so very much in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Praise the name of the Lord. And the next time
[1:16] Speaker 2: I come, well, it's not going to be for long,
[1:19] Speaker 2: my stay, but the next time, hopefully, I will stay
[1:21] Speaker 2: longer and I will eat potakot, gari, and... Peririnco and
[1:29] Speaker 2: that order. I know it all. I know it very well.
[1:35] Speaker 2: Praise God. So all the women just take notes. The
[1:38] Speaker 2: next time, those of you who have restaurants, you come
[1:41] Speaker 2: together and make that thing. Praise God. Let's give Jesus
[1:44] Speaker 2: praise again. The entrance of God's word gives light and
[1:55] Speaker 2: it gives understanding. When God calls for a solemn assembly
[2:00] Speaker 2: like this, it is because he intends to do us good.
[2:04] Speaker 2: And the way he does good is by giving us
[2:07] Speaker 2: access to the revelation of his word. God's method has
[2:12] Speaker 2: always been and will always be his word. Now it
[2:15] Speaker 2: is up to you to be attentive to the word.
[2:19] Speaker 2: He said, Martha, Martha, you are worried and you are
[2:23] Speaker 2: upset about many things. He says, one thing is needful.
[2:27] Speaker 2: And that is what Mary has chosen. And so I
[2:29] Speaker 2: want to beseech you by the message of God that
[2:32] Speaker 2: for the time that we're going to be spending, do
[2:35] Speaker 2: not allow the devil distract you from receiving your word.
[2:39] Speaker 2: Let your heart be open. Let your eyes be attentive.
[2:42] Speaker 2: And I believe in the name of Jesus, like your
[2:45] Speaker 2: pastor said, that as God's word is coming, your word
[2:48] Speaker 2: will come to you. Is somebody shouting amen? The word
[2:53] Speaker 2: that lives will come to you. The word that delivers
[2:56] Speaker 2: will come to you. The word that heals will come
[2:59] Speaker 2: to you. The word that enlightens will come to you.
[3:04] Speaker 2: The word that empowers will come to you. I see
[3:07] Speaker 2: someone taking firm dominion after this conference. Are you shouting amen?
[3:15] Speaker 2: It will be clear around your territory that God has
[3:17] Speaker 2: truly put you in command. Hallelujah. Saul or Samuel. walked
[3:25] Speaker 2: up to Saul and said, is it not because the
[3:29] Speaker 2: Lord has anointed you to be captain over his inheritance?
[3:34] Speaker 2: Anointed you to be captain over his inheritance. I pray
[3:39] Speaker 2: for you. Everything threatening your liberty. After this conference, it
[3:44] Speaker 2: gives way finally forever. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[3:50] Speaker 2: Would you join me, lift your hands in one minute
[3:52] Speaker 2: as we cry for revelations. Let's declare a need for
[3:56] Speaker 2: the wisdom of God. The Bible says, let not wisdom cry.
[3:59] Speaker 2: Someone lift your voice and cry. Father, we need you.
[4:03] Speaker 2: It is in your light that we see light. You
[4:06] Speaker 2: are the fountain of life. We thank you. The light
[4:10] Speaker 2: shined in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.
[4:22] Speaker 2: Your light is coming to us and our hearts are
[4:24] Speaker 2: open to receive. The word that gives us access to
[4:30] Speaker 2: the experience of dominion. In Jesus' blessed name we pray.
[4:39] Speaker 2: Spirit of the suffering Lord. Come and make your presence known.
[4:46] Speaker 2: Reveal the glory of the risen Lord. You're the spirit
[4:55] Speaker 2: of the sovereign Lord. Come and make your presence known.
[5:01] Speaker 2: Reveal the glory of the risen Lord. Let the weight
[5:11] Speaker 2: of your glory cover us. Let the life of your
[5:20] Speaker 2: river flow. let the truth of your kingdom reign in
[5:31] Speaker 2: us let the weight of your glory let the weight
[5:41] Speaker 2: of your glory in jesus much less name we pray
[5:49] Speaker 2: please be seated so there are three ways To build
[5:55] Speaker 2: believers so that they become mighty in the spirit. And
[6:01] Speaker 2: when you want to raise a true apostolic community of believers,
[6:07] Speaker 2: there are three levels of engaging them in the word.
[6:11] Speaker 2: Number one, you teach them the way of intimacy with
[6:16] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. It's called the way of the altar.
[6:20] Speaker 2: That is the first way you raise mighty men. You
[6:23] Speaker 2: teach them The way of the altar. You show them
[6:27] Speaker 2: the ordinances of intimacy. That means you guide them through
[6:31] Speaker 2: the spiritual pathway that deepens their relationship with the Holy Spirit.
[6:37] Speaker 2: Bringing them into a functional knowledge of God. It says,
[6:41] Speaker 2: but the people that do know their God, they shall
[6:44] Speaker 2: be strong and they shall do exploits. John 17 and
[6:49] Speaker 2: verse 3. This is life everlasting. That they may know thee.
[6:53] Speaker 2: The only true God. And Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. Hallelujah.
[6:59] Speaker 2: So the first way to raise mighty men. Is to
[7:03] Speaker 2: teach them the way of the altar. In that progression.
[7:07] Speaker 2: That means you teach them the ordinances of prayer. Prayer
[7:11] Speaker 2: for intimacy. Not just obtaining requests. You show them the
[7:16] Speaker 2: value of the Holy Spirit. It says the grace of
[7:19] Speaker 2: our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the
[7:23] Speaker 2: fellowship is the word koinonia. The intimacy, the participation, the
[7:28] Speaker 2: sharing together of the Holy Ghost. Let it be with you. Hallelujah.
[7:33] Speaker 2: Because it is from that standpoint, that vantage position of
[7:38] Speaker 2: a functional knowledge of God that they can reign. It's
[7:42] Speaker 2: somebody learning. So you teach them the way of the altar.
[7:46] Speaker 2: Then number two, you teach them the way of victory.
[7:51] Speaker 2: So it's not enough to just help them understand the
[7:55] Speaker 2: principles of personal edification, love for Jesus, consecration. If you
[8:01] Speaker 2: stop there, there will be a consecrated people, but they
[8:05] Speaker 2: will not obtain results. You teach them the way of victory.
[8:08] Speaker 2: That's the next port of call. That means you teach
[8:12] Speaker 2: them how to use the resources of the kingdom, the
[8:16] Speaker 2: resources of the world, the resources of wisdom, the value
[8:21] Speaker 2: of the Holy Spirit. Are we together? To engage their
[8:25] Speaker 2: lives such that they produce results. This second dimension is
[8:31] Speaker 2: where you teach them to explore the vastness of the
[8:34] Speaker 2: wisdom of God. When you teach them the way of victory,
[8:38] Speaker 2: at the end of it, they will have personal results.
[8:41] Speaker 2: They will know how to produce results. On account of
[8:44] Speaker 2: what you teach them, when sickness comes, they can take
[8:48] Speaker 2: authority over it. It is at this point you teach
[8:50] Speaker 2: them the power of the name. It is at this
[8:53] Speaker 2: point you teach them the power of wisdom. It's at
[8:55] Speaker 2: this point you teach them the power of faith. You
[8:58] Speaker 2: see that now? As the substance of things hoped for.
[9:01] Speaker 2: It is at this point you teach them the creative
[9:04] Speaker 2: power of the spoken word. It is at this point
[9:06] Speaker 2: you teach them the value of productivity and wisdom. So
[9:12] Speaker 2: the way of intimacy. Number two, the way of victory.
[9:17] Speaker 2: And then when they become a victorious people, it does
[9:23] Speaker 2: not stop there. Because the whole journey of the believer
[9:26] Speaker 2: is not just achieving personal victory. If the entire scope
[9:30] Speaker 2: of your Christian experience stops at you being victorious. I
[9:34] Speaker 2: have used the word to buy a car. I've used
[9:36] Speaker 2: the word to build a house. I've used the word
[9:39] Speaker 2: to send my children to school. I've used the word
[9:42] Speaker 2: to keep demons and sicknesses at bay. What else? Then
[9:46] Speaker 2: the next level you teach them the way of kingdom
[9:49] Speaker 2: relevance and purpose. The way of kingdom relevance and purpose.
[9:56] Speaker 2: That means you show them that there is a dimension.
[9:59] Speaker 2: Be on your path. victory there is a dimension beyond
[10:04] Speaker 2: you as a person so you go past yourself and
[10:08] Speaker 2: you now begin to invest in the advancement of god's
[10:12] Speaker 2: program that is the highest level of usefulness to the
[10:16] Speaker 2: kingdom Perhaps you may have heard me say that your
[10:19] Speaker 2: real advantage to the kingdom is not just in your
[10:23] Speaker 2: being saved. Your real advantage to the kingdom is not
[10:27] Speaker 2: just in your being victorious. Your real advantage to the
[10:30] Speaker 2: kingdom is in your being invested in birthing God's program.
[10:36] Speaker 2: At the point you become a witness, an ambassador, that
[10:40] Speaker 2: is really when you become valuable to the kingdom. Your
[10:43] Speaker 2: salvation is for your own benefit. Are we learning? Your
[10:48] Speaker 2: being victorious is for your own benefit. But your being
[10:52] Speaker 2: a witness now goes beyond you and begins to feed
[10:56] Speaker 2: into the program of God. So let me recap very quickly.
[11:00] Speaker 2: I hope someone has learned something already. That when you,
[11:02] Speaker 2: particularly for those of us who are pastors here, don't
[11:06] Speaker 2: just teach people at random anything that comes to your mind.
[11:09] Speaker 2: You will not raise mighty men. You will not raise
[11:12] Speaker 2: mighty men that way. You teach them the way of
[11:15] Speaker 2: the altar. Listen, if you just focus on teaching believers
[11:18] Speaker 2: victorious living without teaching them the way of the altar,
[11:22] Speaker 2: there will be people who can use wisdom to produce results,
[11:25] Speaker 2: but there will not be people who have the fear
[11:27] Speaker 2: of God. They are the kinds of people that increase
[11:30] Speaker 2: becomes a cost in their life. They are wise. They
[11:34] Speaker 2: understand the dynamics, but they will compromise. They will do
[11:38] Speaker 2: anything and they don't care. So it starts by working
[11:42] Speaker 2: on their walk with God. The fear of the Lord. Consecration.
[11:47] Speaker 2: Genuine love for Jesus beyond results. That's the first step.
[11:52] Speaker 2: Then building upon it to teach them how to be victorious.
[11:55] Speaker 2: Now there are many consecrated believers. They love God sincerely. Wholly.
[12:02] Speaker 2: righteous but they don't have results because they've not been
[12:06] Speaker 2: taught the way of victory they've been taught the way
[12:09] Speaker 2: of the altar honestly when you see them you know
[12:12] Speaker 2: they are deeply in love with jesus they can give
[12:15] Speaker 2: their lives for jesus but they cannot pay their children's
[12:18] Speaker 2: school fees but they are useless to their world in
[12:21] Speaker 2: as much as being light and salt is concerned because
[12:25] Speaker 2: they've not been taught the way of victory Then there
[12:28] Speaker 2: are those whose entire Christian scope is about their personal results.
[12:33] Speaker 2: They never think kingdom. All they think is, let me just,
[12:37] Speaker 2: I need to make money. I need to get a car.
[12:40] Speaker 2: I need to buy a house. I need to raise
[12:43] Speaker 2: my children. I need to, you know, my soul find rest.
[12:49] Speaker 2: So the entire journey stops with them. You see, because
[12:54] Speaker 2: they were not taken beyond the way of victory. So
[12:58] Speaker 2: the way of the altar or the way of intimacy.
[13:01] Speaker 2: Number two, the way of victory, personal victory. Then number three,
[13:05] Speaker 2: the way of purpose or kingdom relevance. The reason why
[13:10] Speaker 2: God allows us to walk the way of victory first
[13:14] Speaker 2: is because if you are not victorious, you will be
[13:18] Speaker 2: too distracted to focus on the program of God. It's
[13:21] Speaker 2: going to be very difficult for you to be fully
[13:24] Speaker 2: invested in God's program That's why before he said, he said,
[13:28] Speaker 2: give us our daily bread. You see that now? It's
[13:33] Speaker 2: going to be very difficult for you to be focused.
[13:36] Speaker 2: Knowing your wife does not have food to eat. Knowing
[13:39] Speaker 2: that your children don't have their medical bills paid. You
[13:42] Speaker 2: see that? So God in his benevolence as father, he
[13:46] Speaker 2: shows you the way to tame life and produce victory.
[13:50] Speaker 2: Then he now teaches you that now that you are
[13:53] Speaker 2: not distracted, can you invest in my program? That's why
[13:58] Speaker 2: there are people you find they are so invested in
[14:02] Speaker 2: God's program. And you wonder, don't they do anything with
[14:05] Speaker 2: their lives? The reason is because number one, they love God.
[14:08] Speaker 2: But the second reason is because they have conquered life.
[14:12] Speaker 2: At a personal level, when you see them pray over challenges,
[14:16] Speaker 2: it's not for themselves again. They have risen to an
[14:19] Speaker 2: altitude where victory is not something that is prophetic for them.
[14:24] Speaker 2: It's a reality. So all that is left in their lives,
[14:27] Speaker 2: they are not begging for tea, they are not begging
[14:29] Speaker 2: for bread, they have learned how to use the word
[14:33] Speaker 2: of God to produce profit. So they are fully invested
[14:37] Speaker 2: in the program of God. This is how you raise
[14:40] Speaker 2: a strong, vibrant, apostolic community of believers. Every time you
[14:46] Speaker 2: find lopsidedness in the believer's growth process, go back to
[14:50] Speaker 2: one of these three areas. Either he was taught the
[14:53] Speaker 2: way of victory, Without being taught the way of consecration.
[14:57] Speaker 2: The way of the altar. Or he was taught to
[15:00] Speaker 2: be a consecrated believer. And he was not taught how
[15:04] Speaker 2: to be victorious. Are we together? Or he was taught
[15:08] Speaker 2: how to be an ambassador. And yet he was not
[15:11] Speaker 2: taught how to get his needs there. So he becomes distracted.
[15:15] Speaker 2: He will leave the assignment because he's hungry. And he
[15:18] Speaker 2: has to go back to cater for the matters of
[15:21] Speaker 2: tea and bread. And after many years, you find out
[15:24] Speaker 2: that even though you ask him, do you know your assignment?
[15:27] Speaker 2: He says, yes. You say, are you doing it? He says, no.
[15:30] Speaker 2: You say, why? He says, because my wife is still crying.
[15:33] Speaker 2: So it's not that I'm in ignorance as to what
[15:35] Speaker 2: God wants me to do. But I cannot be doing
[15:38] Speaker 2: that kind of work when my wife and children are
[15:40] Speaker 2: crying all the time. It's somebody learning. So final recap.
[15:45] Speaker 2: Say the way of intimacy. Shout it. Say the way
[15:49] Speaker 2: of intimacy. Say the way of victory. Say the way
[15:53] Speaker 2: of kingdom relevance. I pray for you already in Jesus' name.
[15:57] Speaker 2: May this be the ladder you will climb until you
[16:00] Speaker 2: become such a useful tool for the kingdom. In the
[16:05] Speaker 2: name of Jesus Christ. Immediately, even before I get to
[16:09] Speaker 2: my discussion tonight, for someone, maybe you came crying and said, Lord,
[16:13] Speaker 2: at what level God has done an x-ray for you
[16:16] Speaker 2: with this brief introduction? Some of you need to go
[16:19] Speaker 2: back to learn the way of intimacy because it's clear
[16:22] Speaker 2: that your love for God, your fire for the things
[16:25] Speaker 2: of God is wanting. You want to succeed, but the
[16:29] Speaker 2: truth is you do not love God. You are just
[16:31] Speaker 2: using Him as the most... the most, what's the word now?
[16:37] Speaker 2: The most intelligent route to becoming successful. You see that now?
[16:44] Speaker 2: So that love is not there. And then there are
[16:48] Speaker 2: others you love God, but you are becoming frustrated because
[16:52] Speaker 2: your love for God, as much as you love him,
[16:55] Speaker 2: you are frustrated because life is not working for you.
[16:58] Speaker 2: And people are already looking at you and say, how
[17:00] Speaker 2: can you be a genuine lover of God? And at
[17:03] Speaker 2: least with time, we do not see the fruits of
[17:06] Speaker 2: dominion in your life. What you need to learn is
[17:09] Speaker 2: the way of victory. Let me tell you, the way
[17:11] Speaker 2: of intimacy will not automatically suffice for the bankruptcy of
[17:16] Speaker 2: learning the laws of dominion. Are we together? Oh, I
[17:20] Speaker 2: love God. I don't know why things are working. The
[17:22] Speaker 2: dynamics are different. The dynamics are different. They all connect.
[17:28] Speaker 2: But there is a separate lecture on how to be
[17:30] Speaker 2: victorious in the kingdom. And then there are those who
[17:34] Speaker 2: are victorious, but they are irrelevant to God's program. God
[17:38] Speaker 2: cannot come to them and trust them and say, this
[17:40] Speaker 2: is what I'm doing in Port Harcourt. Can you be
[17:42] Speaker 2: the face behind this move of God? Because they are
[17:45] Speaker 2: too self-centered. Their heads are down and they are focused
[17:49] Speaker 2: on self. But there are those who know that my
[17:52] Speaker 2: life is a living sacrifice. Thank you for granting me
[17:55] Speaker 2: access to victory. But now I want to be invested
[17:58] Speaker 2: in your program. These are the kinds who are not
[18:01] Speaker 2: just called believers. They are called witnesses. They are called ambassadors. Hallelujah.
[18:08] Speaker 2: Praise the name of the Lord. Alright, so let's go
[18:11] Speaker 2: to our discussion tonight. We'll just take it wherever we're
[18:17] Speaker 2: able to stop. Matthew chapter 6. Let's begin our reading
[18:21] Speaker 2: from verse 13 to 16. Blessed be. Matthew 5. My apologies.
[18:28] Speaker 2: Matthew 5. 13 to 16. 13, 1, 3, and we'll
[18:36] Speaker 2: read to 16. It says, you are the salt of
[18:38] Speaker 2: the earth. Do you believe that? But if the salt
[18:42] Speaker 2: has lost its several, wherewith shall it be salted? It's
[18:46] Speaker 2: a question. He said, it is thanks for good for
[18:49] Speaker 2: nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden
[18:52] Speaker 2: under foot of men. So Jesus is teaching here. Remember,
[18:56] Speaker 2: he began what we know as the Beatitudes. opening and
[19:00] Speaker 2: exposing them to the culture of the kingdom. And he
[19:04] Speaker 2: began to do that by contrasting value systems. So he
[19:08] Speaker 2: would say, this is how you operate within your world,
[19:11] Speaker 2: but this is what I'm introducing to you now. A
[19:13] Speaker 2: more superior way of living. Are we together? Yeah. So
[19:17] Speaker 2: when we get to 5.13, he now says, ye are
[19:20] Speaker 2: the salt of Potakot. Then he now says, verse 14,
[19:26] Speaker 2: ye are the light of the world. You are a
[19:30] Speaker 2: city that is set on a hill that cannot be hid.
[19:35] Speaker 2: Neither do men light a candle and put it under
[19:39] Speaker 2: a bushel, but they put it on a candlestick and
[19:42] Speaker 2: it gives light to all who are in the house.
[19:45] Speaker 2: It leaves us with a final instruction, verse 16. It says,
[19:48] Speaker 2: let your light. The word let means permit. Do not restrain.
[19:53] Speaker 2: Do not restrict. Permit your light to so shine before
[19:58] Speaker 2: men that they may see your good works and glorify
[20:02] Speaker 2: your Father which is in heaven. Someone lift your right hand. Say, Father,
[20:08] Speaker 2: be glorified. In my life and through my life. Like
[20:13] Speaker 2: you're serious, shout it again. Say, Father, be glorified. In
[20:17] Speaker 2: my life and through my life. God bless you. So,
[20:24] Speaker 2: when the Bible talks about believers as light and salt,
[20:27] Speaker 2: I don't want to go back into doing an elaborate
[20:31] Speaker 2: introduction so that we'll make progress. But perhaps you may
[20:35] Speaker 2: have heard me teach that believers are classified two-fold. From
[20:40] Speaker 2: a theological standpoint, we classify believers using two dimensions or
[20:47] Speaker 2: two kinds of classification. There is classification based on our
[20:53] Speaker 2: union with Christ or our oneness with Christ. We call
[20:56] Speaker 2: it classification based on identity. You see that? So there
[21:01] Speaker 2: are names believers are called that try to show our
[21:04] Speaker 2: connectedness to the Lord Jesus Christ. So names like I
[21:09] Speaker 2: am the vine and ye are the branches. We are
[21:12] Speaker 2: called branches. We are called heirs of God and joined
[21:16] Speaker 2: heirs with Christ. We are called the righteousness of God
[21:19] Speaker 2: in Christ Jesus. We are called one spirit connected to him.
[21:23] Speaker 2: Are we together? So when the Bible uses all of
[21:25] Speaker 2: those words, it attempts to show how connected we are
[21:30] Speaker 2: by reason of being grafted through Christ. But there is
[21:33] Speaker 2: a second classification that is based on functions. So classification
[21:38] Speaker 2: based on function describes the believer as a functional entity
[21:50] Speaker 2: who is serving the program of God. So we are
[21:52] Speaker 2: now called under that classification, for an example, as witnesses,
[21:57] Speaker 2: as ambassadors, as kings and priests, light and salt. You
[22:03] Speaker 2: see that now? So all of these words, this second
[22:06] Speaker 2: group of classification, they are functional classifications. They describe things
[22:11] Speaker 2: that the believer should do on account of who he
[22:14] Speaker 2: has become now. And among those classifications, the Bible calls
[22:19] Speaker 2: us salt and it calls us light. Say, I'm salt
[22:25] Speaker 2: and light. And then perhaps you may have heard me
[22:29] Speaker 2: give a little brief about salt and light. Salt is
[22:32] Speaker 2: very powerful because it does at least two things. Number one,
[22:36] Speaker 2: salt gives taste. Number two, salt preserves. Hallelujah. When you cook,
[22:45] Speaker 2: sometimes no matter how wonderful the meal is, if you
[22:48] Speaker 2: forget to add salt, you can, I mean, you know
[22:52] Speaker 2: that this is not the best in terms of taste.
[22:55] Speaker 2: And then number two, it preserves. It was an ancient
[22:58] Speaker 2: way of preserving food. And it is still a way
[23:02] Speaker 2: of preserving, you know, food and certain proteins up until today.
[23:07] Speaker 2: And then the Bible talks about light. The beautiful thing
[23:10] Speaker 2: about light is that the Bible defines light by itself.
[23:14] Speaker 2: It says whatever makes manifest is light. Hallelujah. So it
[23:19] Speaker 2: says you are light, illumination, solutions. You are the light
[23:25] Speaker 2: of the world. You are the light of the world.
[23:29] Speaker 2: Now the thing about salt is that it is never
[23:32] Speaker 2: too late to add salt to food. Even if you
[23:36] Speaker 2: forgot to add the salt while cooking, it can still
[23:39] Speaker 2: be relevant while the food is finished on the table.
[23:42] Speaker 2: It is never too late. So when the Bible says
[23:45] Speaker 2: you are salt, there's no such thing as I'm too old.
[23:48] Speaker 2: There's no such thing as I'm too... There is always
[23:51] Speaker 2: a space for you as far as God's program is concerned.
[23:56] Speaker 2: Are we learning now? And then when the Bible says
[23:58] Speaker 2: you are light, the beautiful thing about light is that
[24:02] Speaker 2: the impact of light is not gradual. It is instant
[24:06] Speaker 2: and unquestionable. If you leave a room dark for 10
[24:11] Speaker 2: years and leave another room dark for two years and
[24:15] Speaker 2: leave another room dark for one week and leave another
[24:18] Speaker 2: room dark for one day, if you connect all of
[24:21] Speaker 2: them to the same switch, by the time you switch
[24:24] Speaker 2: on the light, which of the rooms come up first?
[24:27] Speaker 2: All of them. Meaning the longevity of darkness does not
[24:30] Speaker 2: matter in the presence of true light. The Bible says
[24:34] Speaker 2: that was the true light that lighted every man. Is
[24:38] Speaker 2: somebody learning? The second thing about light is that you
[24:41] Speaker 2: do not have to be everywhere for your impact to
[24:44] Speaker 2: be everywhere. So look at this light for an example.
[24:48] Speaker 2: It's at a fixed point but there is a circumference
[24:51] Speaker 2: of influence. Just follow our discussion carefully. As light, you
[24:57] Speaker 2: don't have to be everywhere to be everywhere. The sun
[25:00] Speaker 2: is in one position. But because of the level of brightness,
[25:04] Speaker 2: you see that now? It swallows up everything that looks
[25:07] Speaker 2: like darkness around it. You are the light of the world.
[25:12] Speaker 2: You are the salt of the earth. You believe that?
[25:14] Speaker 2: Shout Amen. Now, let's talk about a topic we're considering
[25:24] Speaker 2: taking charge of. attempting to show the power of dominion
[25:27] Speaker 2: and kingdom influence. And I want to talk around that light.
[25:33] Speaker 2: One of the things that I love about your church
[25:35] Speaker 2: and your pastor is he's been intentional in seeing that
[25:43] Speaker 2: you receive the whole counsel of God. Many of you
[25:46] Speaker 2: who may have listened to me, I am very passionate
[25:49] Speaker 2: about believers being holistically built And been built along the
[25:54] Speaker 2: whole council of God. The danger of lopsided spiritual development.
[26:00] Speaker 2: Is that the area of deficiency. Becomes the advantage of
[26:04] Speaker 2: Satan in your life. The area where you refuse to
[26:07] Speaker 2: be built. Satan does not attack arbitrarily. He studies the
[26:12] Speaker 2: template of your spiritual growth. And the area of neglect.
[26:16] Speaker 2: Becomes his advantage into your life. Hallelujah. And for far
[26:22] Speaker 2: too long. Perhaps I should say this. There are three
[26:25] Speaker 2: major errors that can proceed from the pulpit. This is
[26:30] Speaker 2: not a pastor's conference, but this will bless us and
[26:33] Speaker 2: connect to what I'm about to say. Three major errors
[26:36] Speaker 2: that men and women of God, those who serve in
[26:39] Speaker 2: the ministry of the word, must guard themselves jealously against.
[26:43] Speaker 2: Number one, the first kind of error that can proceed
[26:46] Speaker 2: from the pulpit and have an effect on the kind
[26:50] Speaker 2: and quality of believers that will be raised That error
[26:53] Speaker 2: is called the error of apostasy or falsehood. So this
[26:58] Speaker 2: is the first kind of error. Apostasy is a deviation
[27:02] Speaker 2: from the known patterns of God. It is complete falsehood.
[27:08] Speaker 2: That which is inconsistent with the way of God. It
[27:11] Speaker 2: is not even part of how God operates. Apostasy. The
[27:15] Speaker 2: Bible says the Spirit speaketh expressly. That in the latter
[27:19] Speaker 2: times some shall depart from the faith. And they shall
[27:23] Speaker 2: give heed to seducing spirits and the doctrine of demons.
[27:28] Speaker 2: So the first kind of error. And the man of
[27:31] Speaker 2: God does not need to be bad. He does not
[27:33] Speaker 2: need to be fake. You can be a genuine man
[27:36] Speaker 2: of God. And yet what proceeds from you is a
[27:39] Speaker 2: doctrine of demons. Number two. The second kind of error is.
[27:45] Speaker 2: That can proceed from the pulpit. Is the inaccurate application
[27:51] Speaker 2: of kingdom principles. The inaccurate application of kingdom principles. That
[27:57] Speaker 2: means the kingdom principle is correct. But the error is
[28:03] Speaker 2: in how it is applied. There is a way you
[28:07] Speaker 2: can teach giving. That it becomes manipulation. Giving is an
[28:12] Speaker 2: accurate kingdom principle. But how you teach people to engage
[28:16] Speaker 2: it can become manipulation or a potent kingdom principle that
[28:21] Speaker 2: brings them increase. Are we together? Honor is a powerful
[28:26] Speaker 2: kingdom principle. But there is a way you can apply
[28:29] Speaker 2: honor that becomes human worship. Are you getting what I'm
[28:33] Speaker 2: saying now? Very, very important. So the second error. An
[28:39] Speaker 2: inaccurate application of kingdom principles. The principle is right. But
[28:45] Speaker 2: the way it is used. And one person who has
[28:49] Speaker 2: mastered doing this is Satan himself. Satan knows how to
[28:53] Speaker 2: use it is written. To get whatever he wants. It
[28:56] Speaker 2: is not only evil Satan uses. He uses good too.
[29:00] Speaker 2: When he came to Jesus he said turn this stone
[29:02] Speaker 2: to bread. Matthew 4. He didn't say it is written.
[29:06] Speaker 2: Just use your desire. You are hungry. Don't deny it.
[29:09] Speaker 2: You are a man. You've been praying and fasting for
[29:12] Speaker 2: 40 days. You are hungry. Use your authority you have.
[29:16] Speaker 2: Turn this stone to bread. And then by the second time,
[29:21] Speaker 2: the second temptation, he didn't bring opinions again. He said
[29:25] Speaker 2: it is written. Satan for you. Took him up to
[29:29] Speaker 2: a high mountain and said, please cast yourself and fall
[29:31] Speaker 2: for it is written. He shall put his changes charge
[29:35] Speaker 2: over you. Look at Satan quoting scripture. They will bear
[29:38] Speaker 2: you up on their wings lest you die. your feet
[29:40] Speaker 2: against a stone accurate but it was supposed to be
[29:44] Speaker 2: a tool of deception and jesus detected it you see
[29:48] Speaker 2: that now the third time he said it is written
[29:50] Speaker 2: so there can be an accurate kingdom principle i hope
[29:54] Speaker 2: we are learning already but then it is the inaccurate
[29:58] Speaker 2: application of it That destroys people. And the body of
[30:02] Speaker 2: Christ has suffered this one. Very correct kingdom principles. But
[30:07] Speaker 2: been inaccurately applied. The third one. And this is why
[30:12] Speaker 2: I've decided to digress and mention this. The third area
[30:16] Speaker 2: that we need to watch very, very, very carefully. Very,
[30:21] Speaker 2: very carefully. Is the error of imbalance. The error of imbalance.
[30:26] Speaker 2: The error of imbalance. Or incomplete communication of truth. The
[30:33] Speaker 2: error of imbalance. Acts chapter 20. And I think verse 28.
[30:45] Speaker 2: Please give it to us. Take heed therefore unto yourselves
[30:53] Speaker 2: and to the flock. Over which the Holy Ghost has
[30:56] Speaker 2: made you overseers to feed the church of God, which
[30:59] Speaker 2: you have purchased with his own blood. 29. There's something
[31:02] Speaker 2: I'm looking for. 30. 31 to 32. Okay. Maybe what
[31:14] Speaker 2: I'm looking for is beyond 28. It talks about the
[31:16] Speaker 2: whole counsel of God. That I have not shunned to
[31:19] Speaker 2: show you the whole counsel of God. That's what I
[31:23] Speaker 2: was looking for there. There is something called the whole 27.
[31:27] Speaker 2: Thank you. So it was a verse before. It said,
[31:29] Speaker 2: for I have not shown to declare unto you the
[31:33] Speaker 2: whole counsel of God. All the counsel of God. Hallelujah.
[31:39] Speaker 2: All the counsel of God. Please look at me. I
[31:42] Speaker 2: always give this example. How many of you know that
[31:46] Speaker 2: if my number is a 10 digit number and you
[31:49] Speaker 2: have 8 of my number, do you have my correct numbers? No,
[31:53] Speaker 2: you do, but you don't have my complete numbers. Every
[31:57] Speaker 2: figure you have is correct, but it will still not
[32:00] Speaker 2: call me because it is not complete. Eight over ten
[32:03] Speaker 2: will still not call me. So there are many people
[32:06] Speaker 2: carrying eight over ten revelation. Your revelation is correct, but
[32:10] Speaker 2: you are wondering why the door still do not open.
[32:14] Speaker 2: Are we together? So we must guard against incomplete spiritual knowledge. Now,
[32:25] Speaker 2: there are three major tools as far as establishing the
[32:29] Speaker 2: dominion of the kingdom upon the earth. There are three
[32:32] Speaker 2: major tools that believers must understand the dynamics of using
[32:39] Speaker 2: and engaging these tools. Else you will not be able
[32:42] Speaker 2: to establish dominion within your territory. The first tool is
[32:47] Speaker 2: called evangelism. Please write that down. Evangelism. It is going
[32:53] Speaker 2: to be impossible for the government of heaven to find
[32:59] Speaker 2: expression within any domain. It is going to be impossible
[33:03] Speaker 2: for believers to work in kingdom authority and dominion if
[33:08] Speaker 2: we ignore evangelism. Everybody shout evangelism. Shout it again. Say evangelism.
[33:15] Speaker 2: Evangelism is how believers... receive the gospel or hear the
[33:22] Speaker 2: gospel and receive the gospel. How many of you know
[33:26] Speaker 2: that receiving the life of God through the gospel is
[33:29] Speaker 2: how you get into the kingdom? There is no other way. Now,
[33:33] Speaker 2: there is one key to the kingdom. Then there are
[33:37] Speaker 2: many keys of the kingdom. Take note. There is only
[33:42] Speaker 2: one key to the kingdom and that key is a person.
[33:45] Speaker 2: His name is Jesus. I am the way, the truth,
[33:49] Speaker 2: and the life. It says, no man cometh to the
[33:52] Speaker 2: Father except by me. But when you get into the
[33:56] Speaker 2: kingdom through that key called Jesus, then there are the
[33:59] Speaker 2: keys of the kingdom. The mysteries that keep commanding your
[34:03] Speaker 2: portion of dominion within the kingdom. Are we learning now?
[34:07] Speaker 2: Jesus said, I am the door. Not I am one
[34:11] Speaker 2: of the doors. I am the only door. Anytime you
[34:14] Speaker 2: find anybody inside that compound, not by me. Know that
[34:17] Speaker 2: it's a thief and a robber. If you find someone
[34:21] Speaker 2: inside your house and you cannot remember opening the door,
[34:25] Speaker 2: what is the person called? What do you shout? What? Thief.
[34:29] Speaker 2: You shout thief and tell your neighbors, come and help
[34:31] Speaker 2: me catch this person. How did you get into my house?
[34:34] Speaker 2: You came through the fence. Let me tell you this.
[34:37] Speaker 2: Evangelism is beyond just a mission mentality. It is the
[34:42] Speaker 2: only way, the only gateway through which unbelievers experience that
[34:48] Speaker 2: spiritual transition from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom
[34:52] Speaker 2: of God's dear son. Dominion. And territorial transformation cannot happen
[35:00] Speaker 2: if believers do not understand the power of evangelism. This
[35:06] Speaker 2: is an aspect that, especially for Pentecostal charismatics, we've downplayed
[35:11] Speaker 2: it a bit. We are more focused on discipleship, which
[35:15] Speaker 2: is wonderful. But discipleship starts from evangelism. Believers are called
[35:20] Speaker 2: fishers of men. And souls are likened to fish. Can
[35:24] Speaker 2: you clean a fish you have not caught? Please talk
[35:27] Speaker 2: to me. Remember, I'm talking to reverse people. Can you
[35:31] Speaker 2: clean a fish you have not caught?
[35:32] Speaker 1: No.
[35:33] Speaker 2: You start by going to the sea. Am I right?
[35:36] Speaker 2: You catch the fish. Then when you catch the fish,
[35:39] Speaker 2: you now begin to clean it. Then you process it.
[35:44] Speaker 2: Catching that fish is what evangelism is about. When the
[35:49] Speaker 2: fish comes, then you can now clean it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[35:54] Speaker 2: Dominion within a territory becomes difficult when those who are
[36:00] Speaker 2: within that territory do not have Christ established in their hearts.
[36:04] Speaker 2: The Bible says he desires that all men be saved
[36:08] Speaker 2: and then that we come unto the knowledge of the truth.
[36:11] Speaker 2: So everybody shout evangelism. Hallelujah. Evangelism is the way we
[36:16] Speaker 2: communicate or the art of communicating the gospel, the gospel
[36:21] Speaker 2: of salvation so that it is clear enough so that
[36:26] Speaker 2: the unbelieving person can hear, can be convicted by the
[36:29] Speaker 2: spirit and then it leads to conversion. It's called evangelism.
[36:33] Speaker 2: Jesus in giving us the mandate, there are three dimensions
[36:37] Speaker 2: of the great commission. The first one has to do
[36:40] Speaker 2: with evangelism. The second one has to do with discipleship
[36:47] Speaker 2: and the third has to do with becoming a witness
[36:51] Speaker 2: so in mark chapter 16 when you read from verse
[36:55] Speaker 2: 15 he said go ye into all the world everybody
[36:59] Speaker 2: say go ye are we letting already so shout say
[37:03] Speaker 2: go ye go ye into all the world and preach
[37:07] Speaker 2: the gospel to every creature this is part of the
[37:11] Speaker 2: process that leads you into a state of dominion that
[37:15] Speaker 2: establishes the government of heaven within a territory it starts
[37:19] Speaker 2: with obeying the go ye mission go ye into everywhere
[37:24] Speaker 2: around portacot and everyone you see who is not saved
[37:28] Speaker 2: god call you are the one who calls them sinners
[37:30] Speaker 2: god calls them harvests Are we together? For every unbelieving person,
[37:37] Speaker 2: God calls them a harvest. He says the harvest is ripe.
[37:41] Speaker 2: As unripe as they look, God says the harvest is ripe.
[37:45] Speaker 2: The problem is that the laborers are few. So he says,
[37:48] Speaker 2: pray ye that the Lord of the harvest will send
[37:51] Speaker 2: laborers into his field. Someone say I'm available. Say it
[37:58] Speaker 2: or say I'm available. Don't worry, we'll talk about your breakthrough,
[38:02] Speaker 2: but now say I'm available. Hallelujah. If everyone in this church,
[38:08] Speaker 2: and I know that this is a soul winning church,
[38:11] Speaker 2: to have this size and this consistency is a testament
[38:14] Speaker 2: that you are a soul winning church. But now I'm
[38:16] Speaker 2: speaking apostolically. If every believer committed himself, herself to the
[38:22] Speaker 2: responsibility of of evangelism you would be surprised that it
[38:28] Speaker 2: will be easy for a whole territory to come under
[38:31] Speaker 2: the governing influence of the kingdom no matter how we
[38:35] Speaker 2: pray and we fast if we do not go they
[38:38] Speaker 2: will not be saved are we together praise the name
[38:42] Speaker 2: of the lord the second aspect so i'm talking about
[38:45] Speaker 2: three keys as far as establishing the government of heaven
[38:51] Speaker 2: and dominion is concerned so number one we have evangelism
[38:56] Speaker 2: you have that down number two the second key is
[39:01] Speaker 2: called transformation transformation through discipleship the second way we produce
[39:10] Speaker 2: a people of dominion and we enforce the government of
[39:13] Speaker 2: heaven within a territory transformation matthew 28 from verse 18
[39:19] Speaker 2: please very quickly matthew 28 from verse verse 18 jesus
[39:24] Speaker 2: came And speak unto them. He said. All authority in heaven.
[39:29] Speaker 2: is given unto me on heaven and in the earth
[39:33] Speaker 2: verse 19 are you seeing another go ye how many
[39:36] Speaker 2: go ye's do we have now there is max go
[39:39] Speaker 2: ye go ye and preach there is another go ye
[39:43] Speaker 2: here go ye therefore and teach everybody say go ye
[39:48] Speaker 2: and preach Say Goyi. And teach. So the first Goyi
[39:54] Speaker 2: has to do with soul winning. But the second Goyi
[39:58] Speaker 2: has to do with culturing believers to attain maturity. It
[40:03] Speaker 2: says teach all nations. Baptizing them. In the name of
[40:07] Speaker 2: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teaching them
[40:10] Speaker 2: to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. So
[40:14] Speaker 2: this one has to do with the teaching ministry. Transforming believers.
[40:20] Speaker 2: It's called discipleship. This is the process that makes believers
[40:26] Speaker 2: as individuals and as territories. Are we together? To have
[40:31] Speaker 2: the understanding, the orientation that makes for dominion. What is
[40:37] Speaker 2: happening right now in this conference is this second part
[40:40] Speaker 2: of this command. You are being taught every day, every
[40:44] Speaker 2: week through this conference. You are saved but you need
[40:48] Speaker 2: to grow. You need to be taught because an heir,
[40:52] Speaker 2: for as long as that heir is a child, the
[40:54] Speaker 2: Bible says he differeth nothing from a slave, even though
[40:57] Speaker 2: he be Lord of all. You can be saved and
[41:01] Speaker 2: never experience the reality of the power that has come
[41:05] Speaker 2: with salvation. Because enjoying the riches of salvation is growth
[41:10] Speaker 2: and maturity dependent. Growth and maturity dependent. Enjoying the riches...
[41:18] Speaker 2: That have come with the life of God. The dominion
[41:22] Speaker 2: power invested in that life. Is at the mercy of growth.
[41:26] Speaker 2: And maturity. Not just receiving it. The Bible says as
[41:29] Speaker 2: many as received him. He gave them power. But they
[41:33] Speaker 2: used that power. And then when they grow. They can
[41:37] Speaker 2: now handle the weightier things of the kingdom. Is somebody
[41:40] Speaker 2: learning now? Go here and teach. Transformation. The prize for dominion.
[41:46] Speaker 2: Is transformation. The prize for dominion is transformation. Any believer
[41:53] Speaker 2: that does not submit to the transformative process of the word,
[41:57] Speaker 2: such a believer will never be able to walk in
[42:00] Speaker 2: the experience of dominion. You may quote verses that refer
[42:04] Speaker 2: to dominion. You may sing songs that attest to the
[42:08] Speaker 2: fact that the believer should walk in dominion. But you
[42:11] Speaker 2: may never be able to step into the experience of dominion.
[42:15] Speaker 2: Dominion is growth dependent dominion. unto us a child is
[42:19] Speaker 2: born are we learning unto us a son is given
[42:23] Speaker 2: and the government the symbol of authority will be upon
[42:26] Speaker 2: the shoulder of the son not the child the son
[42:33] Speaker 2: not the child transformation This is where many well-intentioned believers,
[42:41] Speaker 2: they cannot walk in the reality of victory. They cannot
[42:44] Speaker 2: walk in the experience of victory. Do you know why?
[42:47] Speaker 2: Because even though they are genuinely born again, they have
[42:51] Speaker 2: not submitted or they have not been taught that salvation
[42:55] Speaker 2: is not the end of the journey. Salvation is the
[42:58] Speaker 2: initiation of the overall process that transforms you from an
[43:03] Speaker 2: unbeliever to a witness. somebody learning now so it is
[43:09] Speaker 2: as a non-believer through the gospel you become saved however
[43:12] Speaker 2: you are a baby you are still a child then
[43:15] Speaker 2: you submit to that transformative process through the ministry of
[43:19] Speaker 2: prayer the ministry of the word the ministry of the
[43:22] Speaker 2: teaching priest the ministry of the holy ghost they journey
[43:25] Speaker 2: with you through that transformative process how do you know
[43:28] Speaker 2: you are transformed Your thinking. How do you know you
[43:33] Speaker 2: are transformed? Your belief system. Your level of enlightenment. Now listen.
[43:38] Speaker 2: The gospel is a message that saves. But the gospel
[43:42] Speaker 2: is also a value system that empowers. If you only
[43:47] Speaker 2: know the one, the message that saves, and you do
[43:51] Speaker 2: not learn the value system that empowers, you will only be,
[43:55] Speaker 2: it's only that there are videos that attest to the
[43:57] Speaker 2: fact that you came out for an altar call. But
[44:00] Speaker 2: in terms of victory, there will be nothing in your
[44:02] Speaker 2: life that attests to the fact that the life of
[44:05] Speaker 2: God is in you. Ephesians 4, 18. It says, having
[44:11] Speaker 2: their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God.
[44:15] Speaker 2: How does a man get alienated from the life of God?
[44:18] Speaker 2: It says, through the ignorance that is in them because
[44:21] Speaker 2: of the blindness of their hearts. Alienated from the life
[44:27] Speaker 2: of God. Alienated from the health and healing that comes
[44:30] Speaker 2: with God's life. Alienated from the victory that comes with
[44:33] Speaker 2: God's life. Alienated, are we together now? From the victorious
[44:37] Speaker 2: living that comes with God's life. And the Bible says
[44:39] Speaker 2: it is because of the blindness of their heart. The
[44:42] Speaker 2: prayer for your eyes to be opened is a real prayer. Remember,
[44:46] Speaker 2: Paul prayed that prayer over those who were saved. Ephesians
[44:50] Speaker 2: chapter 1, from verse 16. For this cause, I, Paul,
[44:54] Speaker 2: who is understanding everything I've said so far. ephesians not

[45:06] Speaker 2: he says i cease not to give thanks for you
[45:08] Speaker 2: paul is praying now making mention of you in my
[45:11] Speaker 2: prayer what's the content of his prayer 17 that the
[45:15] Speaker 2: god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory
[45:18] Speaker 2: may do what Give unto you. You are saved. But
[45:23] Speaker 2: he will give unto you the spirit of wisdom. And
[45:26] Speaker 2: revelation in the knowledge of him. Verse 18. The eyes
[45:31] Speaker 2: of your understanding. Oh my goodness. This is a prayer
[45:34] Speaker 2: you should pray. Let me tell you. There is a
[45:36] Speaker 2: dimension of prayer where you begin to pray the same
[45:40] Speaker 2: prayer Paul prayed for the church. You start praying it
[45:43] Speaker 2: for your life. Not just God, give me tea. God,
[45:45] Speaker 2: give me. There is a level of maturity in prayer
[45:48] Speaker 2: where you are not asking for things. This is your content.
[45:51] Speaker 2: So let me give you an assignment. Go and search
[45:53] Speaker 2: for the prayers of Paul to the church and start
[45:56] Speaker 2: praying it for yourself. One of it is right here.
[45:59] Speaker 2: That the eyes of your understanding, let it be enlightened.
[46:03] Speaker 2: so that you may know is the word epignosis to
[46:07] Speaker 2: come into oneness with that body of truth what is
[46:11] Speaker 2: the hope of his calling the riches of his glory
[46:15] Speaker 2: of the inheritance in the saints 19 says and to
[46:18] Speaker 2: know the exceeding greatness of his power to us what
[46:21] Speaker 2: who believe He's speaking to those who are already saved.
[46:25] Speaker 2: He's saying, if you don't know this, forget about the
[46:28] Speaker 2: experience of victory. So you can have two believers in
[46:31] Speaker 2: Port Harcourt. All members of Gateway Church. Born again on
[46:35] Speaker 2: the same day. All attending church service. But one will
[46:39] Speaker 2: look so defeated. If you ask him, do you know Jesus?
[46:43] Speaker 2: He will say yes. Are you genuinely saved? Yes. Why
[46:46] Speaker 2: is your life failing every day and every other day?
[46:49] Speaker 2: He will say, I don't know. Whereas another person, same church,
[46:54] Speaker 2: same grace, will be excelling from glory to glory. For one,
[46:59] Speaker 2: the prayer of Paul has been answered in his life.
[47:01] Speaker 2: The eyes of your understanding has become enlightened. So that
[47:07] Speaker 2: you will know. He said, I write these things to
[47:10] Speaker 2: you that you may know. This is life eternal that
[47:13] Speaker 2: you may know. See, this kingdom thrives on knowledge. Knowledge.
[47:22] Speaker 2: What you don't know keeps you a victim. Dominion at
[47:28] Speaker 2: the instance of light. Transformation. Hallelujah. There is what you
[47:35] Speaker 2: need to know about God. There is what you need
[47:39] Speaker 2: to know about Satan. There is what you need to
[47:42] Speaker 2: know about failure. There is what you need to know
[47:45] Speaker 2: about success. There is what you need to know about victory.
[47:49] Speaker 2: There is what you need to know about prayer. There
[47:51] Speaker 2: is what you need to know about the word of God.
[47:54] Speaker 2: This is the assignment of spiritual leadership. So he says,
[47:58] Speaker 2: I will give you pastors or shepherds according to my heart.
[48:02] Speaker 2: Jeremiah 3.15 They will feed you like a spiritual chef.
[48:07] Speaker 2: They will feed you with knowledge. So knowledge is likened
[48:12] Speaker 2: to a meal. And how many of you know that
[48:15] Speaker 2: you are what you eat? Talk to me. Do you
[48:18] Speaker 2: agree on that? That you are what you eat? Like
[48:21] Speaker 2: they say, garbage in, garbage out. Nutritious food in, healthy
[48:27] Speaker 2: body out. So when your outcomes are not representing dominion,
[48:31] Speaker 2: check what is entering you. The eyes of your understanding.
[48:36] Speaker 2: Being enlightened that you may know. There is what you
[48:40] Speaker 2: can know, ladies and gentlemen. And it will position you
[48:43] Speaker 2: to carry the power of God in a tremendous dimension.
[48:47] Speaker 2: There is what you can know. You see, knowledge is
[48:50] Speaker 2: likened to keys. Jesus said, and I will give you
[48:53] Speaker 2: the keys of the kingdom. Matthew 13, 11. He said,
[48:56] Speaker 2: it has been given to you to know the mysteries
[48:58] Speaker 2: of the kingdom. What do you do when you stand
[49:02] Speaker 2: before a door? The key, if you have the right key,
[49:07] Speaker 2: and by key I don't mean a metallic object. Key
[49:09] Speaker 2: can function in various ways. Are we together? The right
[49:14] Speaker 2: information is a key. Presence is a key. There are
[49:17] Speaker 2: certain doors that work based on presence. presence you stand
[49:21] Speaker 2: in front and the door opens presence that one talks
[49:24] Speaker 2: of the weight of glory you carry you can carry
[49:27] Speaker 2: glory like a key and stand in front of a
[49:30] Speaker 2: door and that door opens do you not see it
[49:33] Speaker 2: at the airport that when you are coming it detects
[49:35] Speaker 2: your presence it has been designed to detect your presence
[49:47] Speaker 2: Somebody learning Relationships are keys Matthew 7 There was a
[49:52] Speaker 2: man whose friend came to visit him in the night
[49:55] Speaker 2: And he went to another friend And knocked He said
[49:58] Speaker 2: my friend Open the door for me and give me
[50:00] Speaker 2: bread Another friend has come And I have nothing to
[50:03] Speaker 2: offer He said sorry it's too late I'm already on
[50:06] Speaker 2: bed with my children But the Bible says because of
[50:08] Speaker 2: that friendship He opened and gave him as many So
[50:11] Speaker 2: relationships are keys. If you knock and the person at
[50:16] Speaker 2: the other side refuses to open, it's because you did
[50:19] Speaker 2: not invest in that relationship. Is somebody learning? You can
[50:25] Speaker 2: be born again and fail in your life simply because
[50:29] Speaker 2: you do not understand the law of relationships. The command
[50:32] Speaker 2: be fruitful means be relational. Because biology teaches us that
[50:37] Speaker 2: fruitfulness is a product of Of connection and relationships. Who
[50:41] Speaker 2: is learning? And the relationship is both vertical and horizontal.
[50:46] Speaker 2: Apostle I know God alone. Congratulations. But your years will
[50:49] Speaker 2: remain in the spirit alone. Because it's the spirit and
[50:52] Speaker 2: the bride. You have known the spirit. Better know the bride.
[50:55] Speaker 2: The bride means a human vessel. That comes in partnership
[50:58] Speaker 2: with prophecy. Oh I know God. You must learn how
[51:02] Speaker 2: to know men. One time Jesus said go. There are
[51:06] Speaker 2: many men in that city. Is somebody learning now? I'm
[51:11] Speaker 2: showing you the power of transformation. So there are many
[51:14] Speaker 2: believers that keep failing in the name of Jesus. And
[51:17] Speaker 2: think it is God that's making them to fail.
[51:19] Speaker 3: No.
[51:20] Speaker 2: The problem is transformation. There is a level of illumination.
[51:23] Speaker 2: There is a level of enlightenment. Let me show you
[51:25] Speaker 2: another prayer of Paul. Colossians 1. Give us 9 to 11.
[51:29] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning? For this cause, since the day we
[51:37] Speaker 2: heard it, we cease not to pray. So he's praying again.
[51:41] Speaker 2: Second prayer. To desire that you might be what? Filled
[51:45] Speaker 2: with the knowledge of his will. In all wisdom and
[51:48] Speaker 2: spiritual understanding. I like verse 10. May receive it first
[51:52] Speaker 2: before we read it. In Jesus name. It says that
[51:56] Speaker 2: ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing. Aha.
[52:01] Speaker 2: Being fruitful. This is a prayer. So a believer can
[52:06] Speaker 2: be unfruitful. Paul is saying I know you are saved.
[52:09] Speaker 2: But you need to be fruitful. And he made it
[52:11] Speaker 2: a prayer point. Let me make it a prayer point.
[52:14] Speaker 2: That in the name of Jesus. May my God through
[52:17] Speaker 2: this conference. Cause you to have such an excelling. A
[52:21] Speaker 2: victorious Christian life. Unquestionable dominion. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[52:28] Speaker 2: Being fruitful. In how many good works? All. Every good work. Financially. Financially.
[52:37] Speaker 2: Every good work. Spiritually. And increasing in the knowledge of God.
[52:43] Speaker 2: Verse 11. Strengthen with all might. According to his glorious power.
[52:50] Speaker 2: Unto all patience. And long suffering. And so on and
[52:52] Speaker 2: so forth. Everybody say transformation. Transformation is the name of
[53:00] Speaker 2: the process that causes you to become like Christ in experience.
[53:04] Speaker 2: To think like Christ. To talk like Christ. To function
[53:08] Speaker 2: like Christ. Transformation. Let this mind, Philippians 2 and verse 5,
[53:16] Speaker 2: let this mind be in you, which was also in
[53:19] Speaker 2: Christ Jesus. That means Jesus did not just win because
[53:23] Speaker 2: he was the son of God. He won because there
[53:25] Speaker 2: was a requisite level of transformation. Is somebody learning now?
[53:29] Speaker 2: I'm showing you the price. You want to take charge?
[53:32] Speaker 2: You want to occupy? It starts with you being saved.
[53:36] Speaker 2: And the tool that gets that job done is evangelism.
[53:41] Speaker 2: But then when you are saved, you don't stop there.
[53:43] Speaker 2: You go through the laborious journey of transformation. Let me
[53:48] Speaker 2: tell you, the difference between champions and mean men in
[53:52] Speaker 2: the kingdom is transformation. Man of God, it is a
[53:57] Speaker 2: waste for certain anointings to rest on you because that
[54:00] Speaker 2: version of you will waste it. Hallelujah. Everybody say transformation.
[54:07] Speaker 2: Say capacity. Did you know that many of the prayers
[54:12] Speaker 2: we pray today, do you know why many prayer requests
[54:14] Speaker 2: are not answered? Because the answer was not supposed to
[54:18] Speaker 2: come to this version of you. In fact, if you
[54:22] Speaker 2: focus on growing, there are many prayers we pray today
[54:26] Speaker 2: that is a symptom of lack of growth. That means
[54:29] Speaker 2: if you were growing, can you imagine a little boy
[54:32] Speaker 2: praying to have mustache or beard on his face? Is
[54:35] Speaker 2: that a necessary prayer? You just tell the boy, be
[54:39] Speaker 2: patient and keep eating. And keep learning. And keep going
[54:42] Speaker 2: to school. One day you graduate from being a baby
[54:45] Speaker 2: to a teenager. When you get there, certain biological processes
[54:50] Speaker 2: will kick in. Have you seen little children try to
[54:52] Speaker 2: dress like their mothers? They carry mummies with them when
[54:55] Speaker 2: they are alone. Especially if they are babies. And walk
[54:58] Speaker 2: wonders in that room before the mirror. They pinch themselves
[55:02] Speaker 2: like rainbows. And they stand in front of the mother.
[55:05] Speaker 2: Do you call that baby an adult? You just notice
[55:07] Speaker 2: a child playing around. Exploring their childhood. Many prayers we
[55:17] Speaker 2: pray today. I submit to you by the authority of
[55:20] Speaker 2: the word. The reason why the answer cannot come is
[55:23] Speaker 2: because the answer depends on a more superior version of you.
[55:28] Speaker 2: Perhaps you have heard me say, what you are looking
[55:30] Speaker 2: for is also looking for you, but not this version
[55:33] Speaker 2: of you. No. The anointing is looking for you too
[55:37] Speaker 2: as you are looking for it, but there is a
[55:39] Speaker 2: kind of version it is looking for and it has
[55:42] Speaker 2: not found it yet. Psalm 89 verse 20, I have
[55:46] Speaker 2: found David David, my servant. I can find David in
[55:55] Speaker 2: 2021 and find my servant in 2026. It is the
[56:01] Speaker 2: day I find my servant. I may find David the
[56:06] Speaker 2: busy body. I will still wait because I'm looking for
[56:09] Speaker 2: someone in David. I have found David the busy businessman.
[56:14] Speaker 2: I will still wait until the day David changes to
[56:18] Speaker 2: my So that statement right there, it doesn't just mean
[56:23] Speaker 2: I found him and he's called my servant. The word
[56:25] Speaker 2: my servant is a journey. The day David becomes my servant,
[56:30] Speaker 2: it can take 10 years. So for some of you,
[56:33] Speaker 2: God is saying, I have found Rebecca, but I'm still
[56:35] Speaker 2: looking for the Malibu woman who I can anoint to
[56:39] Speaker 2: become the mother of nations. I have found Mary, but
[56:43] Speaker 2: I've not yet found my handmaiden. Transformation. Transformation. Transformation. Lay
[56:50] Speaker 2: your hands on your head and pray one minute seriously. Say, Father,
[56:54] Speaker 2: I contend for transformation. Go ahead and pray. I contend
[57:01] Speaker 2: for transformation. Light. Light upon my spirit man. Light. Illumination.
[57:12] Speaker 2: Broadness of knowledge. Transition in my understanding. hallelujah hallelujah everybody
[57:34] Speaker 2: say transformation now let me tell you this territories do
[57:39] Speaker 2: not change until the change agents themselves are transformed every
[57:44] Speaker 2: territory is at the mercy of Of the quality of men.
[57:48] Speaker 2: Who are available to be used by God. To influence
[57:51] Speaker 2: that territory. We are getting to the subject of influence.
[57:56] Speaker 2: I have studied. You see let me tell you this.
[58:00] Speaker 2: There are many graces. That God gives men. And one
[58:05] Speaker 2: of the graces. That is needed. To sponsor dominion. Is
[58:12] Speaker 2: the grace of a reformer. Most people do not have
[58:16] Speaker 2: that grace or they are not even aware. You can
[58:19] Speaker 2: have the grace of an intercessor, but if you do
[58:22] Speaker 2: not have the grace of a reformer, you cannot culture
[58:25] Speaker 2: men to know how to change territories. Are we together?
[58:31] Speaker 2: And part of the principle of territorial transformation and reformation
[58:36] Speaker 2: is to understand the power of personal transformation because your
[58:41] Speaker 2: territory will eventually look like you. So if you are
[58:46] Speaker 2: not transformed, the territory is only reflecting you. As a
[58:51] Speaker 2: man of God, your members will always look like you.
[58:54] Speaker 2: There will be a mirror to the quality of your transformation.
[58:58] Speaker 2: You cannot raise a people higher than your level of insight.
[59:01] Speaker 2: You cannot raise a people higher than your level of growth.
[59:04] Speaker 2: You cannot raise a people higher than your level of anointing.
[59:07] Speaker 2: So when we contend for growth, it is because... we
[59:10] Speaker 2: love God, but it's because we love those who are
[59:12] Speaker 2: connected to us. In your light, we see light. Is
[59:18] Speaker 2: somebody learning now? This is very important. I'm stressing on
[59:22] Speaker 2: transformation because beloved brothers and sisters, I tell you the truth,
[59:28] Speaker 2: you know, when I heard You know, your pastor talking
[59:32] Speaker 2: so graciously about me before I came up. When I
[59:35] Speaker 2: hear people say these things, I feel shy, quite honestly.
[59:39] Speaker 2: But then I know they are not lying too. But
[59:42] Speaker 2: I only just feel shy. It's an uncomfortable truth. But
[59:46] Speaker 2: you see, the truth is that this dimension of glory
[59:49] Speaker 2: we celebrate was not supposed to be an experience of
[59:52] Speaker 2: only one man. That is the heritage of believers. So
[59:57] Speaker 2: what God does is that by mercy, he finds a
[1:00:00] Speaker 2: few people and raises them as samples to show that
[1:00:03] Speaker 2: it is possible within a generation. The idea is not
[1:00:07] Speaker 2: just to admire them. The idea is to follow the pathway.
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: So when you read about Abraham, Abraham in the Bible
[1:00:15] Speaker 2: is not only a story. Abraham is a spiritual pathway
[1:00:19] Speaker 2: that produces a certain kind of believer. Esther is not
[1:00:24] Speaker 2: just the story of a woman. It is a description
[1:00:27] Speaker 2: of a spiritual pathway that produces a certain kind of believer.
[1:00:32] Speaker 2: The Bible calls us living epistles. So when you look
[1:00:36] Speaker 2: at Reverend, when you look at Joshua Selman, the idea
[1:00:39] Speaker 2: is not God-like admiration and you stop there and say, wow,
[1:00:42] Speaker 2: these people, they are lucky. No, the idea is that
[1:00:45] Speaker 2: by mercy, we have been lifted as instruments of mercy
[1:00:49] Speaker 2: to show you what your life can become. To show
[1:00:52] Speaker 2: you that alignment has value. To show you that consecration
[1:00:56] Speaker 2: has value. To show you that transformation has value. Are
[1:00:59] Speaker 2: we together? To show you that the Holy Ghost can
[1:01:02] Speaker 2: work with a man. He can pick you up as
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: an ordinary man and turn your life around. Is somebody learning?
[1:01:14] Speaker 2: The things that are written are for time. They are
[1:01:17] Speaker 2: not just written for admiration. They are written for our learning.
[1:01:20] Speaker 2: So that we too, patience and the comfort of scripture
[1:01:24] Speaker 2: might find hope. Content for transformation. My dear sister, you
[1:01:30] Speaker 2: want to see the potential of the God life that
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: is within you. Content for transformation. And see what a
[1:01:37] Speaker 2: transformed believer looks like. You will keep misrepresenting God with
[1:01:41] Speaker 2: your experience if you are not transformed. Because how many
[1:01:44] Speaker 2: of you know that every one of us is a
[1:01:46] Speaker 2: book that is describing God to our world? Let me
[1:01:49] Speaker 2: say that again. Every one of us is a book
[1:01:52] Speaker 2: or a mirror that is describing the invisible God. Some
[1:01:56] Speaker 2: of you, based on the mirror, the reflection that has
[1:01:59] Speaker 2: come through your life, you have made men hate God.
[1:02:02] Speaker 2: And say, the kind of God that will raise this
[1:02:04] Speaker 2: kind of poor product, I won't follow him. But the
[1:02:08] Speaker 2: Bible says in Micah chapter 4 that it shall come
[1:02:11] Speaker 2: to pass. And this is the season. I came to
[1:02:14] Speaker 2: announce to Port Harcourt that in the name of Jesus,
[1:02:17] Speaker 2: this is the season where the mountain of the Lord's
[1:02:19] Speaker 2: house shall be exalted above every other mountain. The Bible
[1:02:23] Speaker 2: says they shall say, listen, listen, let's go there. Let
[1:02:26] Speaker 2: me show you something. Micah 4 and verse 2. Many nations,
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: that's it right there. Shall say come. Come. Let us
[1:02:40] Speaker 2: go to gateway. The mountain of the Lord. And to
[1:02:44] Speaker 2: the house of Jacob. Why? Look at the three things
[1:02:47] Speaker 2: that will happen there. Number one. He will teach us
[1:02:50] Speaker 2: his ways. And then number two. We will walk in
[1:02:55] Speaker 2: his paths. He will teach us. That's why we are coming.
[1:03:00] Speaker 2: We will encounter the God of Jacob. He will teach
[1:03:04] Speaker 2: us his ways. Then we'll be empowered to walk in
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: his path. Hallelujah. Transformation. Let me tell you this. I
[1:03:14] Speaker 2: wish I had the time to share with you my
[1:03:15] Speaker 2: journey and my walk with God. Many years ago when
[1:03:18] Speaker 2: I found this out. Because we were not really taught
[1:03:22] Speaker 2: the value of transformation. We were just taught the value
[1:03:25] Speaker 2: of encounters. And so by my experience. My spiritual foundation
[1:03:31] Speaker 2: was rooted in deep spiritual encounters. And we enjoyed the
[1:03:37] Speaker 2: presence of God. But we hardly saw victory in our lives.
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: And one day the Lord began to show me that
[1:03:44] Speaker 2: that was only a foundational layer. Encounters are powerful. But
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: that the journey needed to move from encounter to transformation.
[1:03:53] Speaker 2: Not to neglect encounters. But to add to it the
[1:03:57] Speaker 2: layer of transformation. And let me tell you, transformation is
[1:04:01] Speaker 2: a laborious layer. Because that one is not a gift.
[1:04:05] Speaker 2: It's a discipline. Transformation is warfare. Because Satan's access to
[1:04:12] Speaker 2: your life is through your belief system. Write that down.
[1:04:16] Speaker 2: Satan's access to your life is primarily through your belief system.
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: So the belief system is his software in your life.
[1:04:27] Speaker 2: That is the official access point. Satan's access point, essentially
[1:04:34] Speaker 2: to the believer's life, is your belief system. So every
[1:04:39] Speaker 2: time you want to change that belief system, you can
[1:04:42] Speaker 2: be sure there will be warfare. Transformation is not just education.
[1:04:46] Speaker 2: It is real warfare. Satan does not want to lose
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: that part of him. You have driven his presence. He
[1:04:53] Speaker 2: wants it to protect his software. Because if he cannot
[1:04:57] Speaker 2: possess you because you are in Christ, his software still
[1:05:00] Speaker 2: gives him access to your life. So he says, let
[1:05:03] Speaker 2: this mind be in you. There are many of us
[1:05:06] Speaker 2: who are in Christ, but there is the software of
[1:05:09] Speaker 2: darkness running within our minds. That's why we find out
[1:05:13] Speaker 2: that there are manifestations of darkness within our lives, even
[1:05:17] Speaker 2: though we are in Christ. So the next journey is transformation.
[1:05:21] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning now? Transformation. Now let me tell you this.
[1:05:25] Speaker 2: Transformation goes beyond secular education. When I talk of being transformed,
[1:05:32] Speaker 2: I don't just mean being western. I don't just mean
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: being technology compliant. All those things are wonderful. But when
[1:05:41] Speaker 2: I talk of transformation in the kingdom, we're talking of
[1:05:45] Speaker 2: the level of word compliancy of your belief system. So
[1:05:51] Speaker 2: that you travel to UK or Canada for 10 years
[1:05:57] Speaker 2: and return back to Nigeria, you have become more enlightened,
[1:06:00] Speaker 2: which is an advantage, but it doesn't mean you are transformed.
[1:06:03] Speaker 2: Transformation is not measured by how western, with all due respect,
[1:06:07] Speaker 2: your belief system is. Because it can be like moving
[1:06:10] Speaker 2: from fire, from water into fire. Both of them are extremes.
[1:06:15] Speaker 2: Transformation describes the extent of the superiority, the world compliancy
[1:06:21] Speaker 2: of your belief system. Are we together now? Hallelujah. You
[1:06:27] Speaker 2: must contend for transformation. Very quickly. Very quickly. Let me
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: give you the third tool. So number one, I said evangelism.
[1:06:33] Speaker 2: To establish dominion within a territory. Evangelism. The gateway to
[1:06:38] Speaker 2: receive the souls that will later be used as witnesses.
[1:06:42] Speaker 2: Then number two, the process of transformation. And there are
[1:06:47] Speaker 2: many elements to transformation. There is enlightenment. There is renewal.
[1:06:53] Speaker 2: You see that now? There is an upgrade of your
[1:06:56] Speaker 2: belief system. There is an editing of the things that
[1:06:59] Speaker 2: are resident within your mind. And then number three, influence.
[1:07:03] Speaker 2: Write that word down. Influence. I want to talk a
[1:07:06] Speaker 2: bit about this. Influence. Glory be to Jesus. Influence. Influence.
[1:07:16] Speaker 2: I'm hearing laughter in my spirit. Hold on. There's a lady,
[1:07:20] Speaker 2: the power of God will come on you now. You
[1:07:22] Speaker 2: literally will begin to laugh by the spirit. This is
[1:07:25] Speaker 2: not something mechanical, but it's by the spirit. This is
[1:07:29] Speaker 2: an outburst of a prophetic dimension that is welling up
[1:07:33] Speaker 2: within your spirit. You are a lady. This is what
[1:07:36] Speaker 2: I receive in my spirit. And then there is a gentleman,
[1:07:41] Speaker 2: two gentlemen in fact, they will begin to run by
[1:07:45] Speaker 2: the anointing. Please just hold them so they do not
[1:07:49] Speaker 2: injure themselves. Whether you are an usher or not, the
[1:07:52] Speaker 2: power of God will come upon them. Sometimes God does
[1:07:55] Speaker 2: these things as signs and wonders. We are going to
[1:07:58] Speaker 2: be praying not too long, but I just needed to
[1:08:01] Speaker 2: announce this. Of course, this is a church that has
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: experienced a rich deposit of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. So,
[1:08:10] Speaker 2: a lady, the power of God will rest upon you
[1:08:13] Speaker 2: mightily and it will be an outburst, a laughter. There
[1:08:18] Speaker 2: is There is prophecy within it. The Bible talks about
[1:08:21] Speaker 2: God who sits upon his throne and laughs. When God
[1:08:24] Speaker 2: dramatizes spiritual realities like this, it is not for fun fair.
[1:08:29] Speaker 2: He's trying to describe something. Are we learning? And then
[1:08:32] Speaker 2: there is a gentleman. Please take note of these things.
[1:08:35] Speaker 2: Because when they happen, then you know. It shouldn't distract you.
[1:08:38] Speaker 2: But God is just giving witness to what he's doing.
[1:08:47] Speaker 2: Just help them. Two gentlemen and a lady. That prophetic
[1:08:51] Speaker 2: fountain is a well by the spirit that will rise
[1:08:56] Speaker 2: up from within your spirit man. A very deep well. well.
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: I see God using that lady very mightily. So when that.
[1:09:04] Speaker 4: Happens, I receive, I manifest.
[1:09:17] Speaker 2: Your power. and your wisdom until the nations see Jesus
[1:09:27] Speaker 2: lifted up exalted I receive I manifest your power and
[1:09:41] Speaker 2: your wisdom the hand of God is coming upon my
[1:09:47] Speaker 2: namesake Your name is Joshua. The hand of God is

[1:10:02] Speaker 2: upon my life. Breathe, Lord. Breathe. Breathe, Lord. Breathe. Breathe
[1:10:13] Speaker 2: upon my life. I receive I manifest your power and
[1:10:25] Speaker 2: your wisdom till the nations see Jesus lifted up. Hallelujah.
[1:10:44] Speaker 2: Your name is mercy. The anointing is coming on you. Mercy.
[1:10:50] Speaker 2: I hear the word mercy. We'll get back to the word,
[1:10:53] Speaker 2: but I mean, the waters is just there. Mercy. Bring
[1:10:59] Speaker 2: her out. Mercy. Saviors are arising from this place. Madam,
[1:11:05] Speaker 2: this woman in front of me, the spirit of prophecy
[1:11:08] Speaker 2: is coming on her. This one, right in front of me. Amen.
[1:11:19] Speaker 2: I'm hearing the name Emeka Emeka The power of God
[1:11:32] Speaker 2: is resting on Emeka I don't know where you are
[1:11:36] Speaker 2: But the hand of God is coming mightily upon you

[1:11:49] Speaker 2: from a family. Three sisters, none of them has a child.
[1:11:55] Speaker 2: Who is that person? I don't know why the waters. Three,
[1:11:57] Speaker 2: you are three in your family. They've not been able
[1:12:00] Speaker 2: to give birth. Please, if you are that person, run
[1:12:03] Speaker 2: out quickly. Run out quickly. I don't want to be distracted,
[1:12:09] Speaker 2: but we have to honor what God is doing. Three ladies,
[1:12:13] Speaker 2: no child. paranto so Bali has Shalado ski at our

[1:12:39] Speaker 2: The dew of Haman. Resting. Resting. Resting. Three ladies. No child.
[1:12:56] Speaker 2: The yoke of barrenness. By the spirit of the living God.
[1:13:01] Speaker 2: The yoke of barrenness. I'm hearing the name Josiah. Josiah.
[1:13:09] Speaker 2: I don't know who has that name. Josiah. The Lord
[1:13:14] Speaker 2: is raising you as a deliverer for your family. Josiah.
[1:13:19] Speaker 2: The Lord is speaking to me. I'm hearing a name. Ebuca. Ebuca. E-B-U-K-A. Ebuca.
[1:13:29] Speaker 2: I don't know who has that name. Ebuka. I'm hearing
[1:13:32] Speaker 2: that name. The power of God is coming on that gentleman.
[1:13:41] Speaker 2: Can you pray in the spirit for one minute? Just
[1:13:43] Speaker 2: pray in the spirit for one minute. Don't be distracted.
[1:13:46] Speaker 2: Something is happening here. Let it flow, let it flow.
[1:13:52] Speaker 2: Let it flow, let it flow. Let it flow, let
[1:13:58] Speaker 2: it flow. .
[1:14:13] Speaker 3: .
[1:14:25] Speaker 2: it's a life-giving river
[1:14:31] Speaker 2: let it flow right here right now hallelujah the issue
[1:14:40] Speaker 2: of children You, your family, let me pray for you.
[1:15:00] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, to deliver them who through
[1:15:03] Speaker 2: the fear of death have all their lifetimes been subject
[1:15:07] Speaker 2: to bondage. In the name of Jesus Christ, here at
[1:15:10] Speaker 2: this conference, according to the time of life, I break
[1:15:15] Speaker 2: the power, whether it's for you or for your siblings
[1:15:18] Speaker 2: you're standing in for, I break the power of barrenness.
[1:15:23] Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, what God says to one,
[1:15:26] Speaker 2: he says to all, My friend, this man, I'm seeing
[1:15:30] Speaker 2: the power of God rest on you. Please lift your hand.
[1:15:33] Speaker 2: I don't know you, but I'm seeing a strong anointing
[1:15:36] Speaker 2: coming on you. In the name of Jesus, I stretch
[1:15:39] Speaker 2: my hands and I pray for you. May you step
[1:15:42] Speaker 2: into those fountains in the spirit. Drink of that wine
[1:15:46] Speaker 2: by the spirit of the living God. May you rise
[1:15:48] Speaker 2: to become a powerful vessel in the hands of God.
[1:15:51] Speaker 2: In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. In the mighty
[1:15:54] Speaker 2: name of Jesus Christ. Two ladies will shout loud under
[1:16:00] Speaker 2: the anointing to the hearing of everyone. Please bring them out.
[1:16:04] Speaker 2: Two ladies. The power of God is coming on them.
[1:16:07] Speaker 2: It's a loud shout to the hearing of everybody. Mighty God.
[1:16:17] Speaker 2: Who is like him? Lion and the lamb. Seated on
[1:16:24] Speaker 2: the throne. Mountains bow down. The Lord is saying I
[1:16:33] Speaker 2: should speak prophetically to someone. God is saying what you
[1:16:37] Speaker 2: see is what he wants to make out of your life.
[1:16:40] Speaker 2: But that you will need to be focused. I don't
[1:16:43] Speaker 2: know who that is. The Lord is saying there's too
[1:16:45] Speaker 2: much distraction. There is an ordination of a mighty man
[1:16:50] Speaker 2: within you. But you are distracted. You need to return
[1:16:53] Speaker 2: back to the place of the altar. This is what
[1:16:55] Speaker 2: I hear in the spirit. He wants to make a
[1:16:58] Speaker 2: mighty person out of you. But there is distraction. Distraction.
[1:17:04] Speaker 2: If your eye be single. Then your body will be
[1:17:07] Speaker 2: full of light. Mountains bow down. And every ocean roll.
[1:17:17] Speaker 2: to the lord of lords we sing praise adonai from
[1:17:27] Speaker 2: the rising of the sun to the end of every
[1:17:31] Speaker 2: day praise adonai all the nations of the earth all
[1:17:42] Speaker 2: the elders and the saints Hallelujah. I thought I'll pray
[1:17:50] Speaker 2: this at the end of my teaching, but the Lord
[1:17:53] Speaker 2: is asking me to speak over a family. There's been
[1:17:57] Speaker 2: a cause of poverty. This is not laziness. You are
[1:18:02] Speaker 2: diligent people as a family, but everybody's suffering. From father
[1:18:07] Speaker 2: to the least. Nothing works. It's like your hand has
[1:18:11] Speaker 2: become a basket with holes. And the power of God
[1:18:14] Speaker 2: is going to come on those people. It's a curse
[1:18:16] Speaker 2: from hell. I stand in partnership with the angel over
[1:18:20] Speaker 2: this house. And I decree and declare by the rod
[1:18:23] Speaker 2: of the apostolic and the prophetic. Everyone under the sound
[1:18:27] Speaker 2: of my voice. Who has been under the siege of
[1:18:32] Speaker 2: this spirit of poverty. In the name of Jesus be
[1:18:35] Speaker 2: released right now. Be released. Be released right now. Be
[1:18:41] Speaker 2: released right now. In the name of Jesus Christ. Let
[1:18:51] Speaker 2: me pray for you my dear sisters. Please place your hand.
[1:18:54] Speaker 2: I decree and declare according to the time of life.
[1:18:57] Speaker 2: For you and for your loved ones. The embargo of
[1:19:00] Speaker 2: delay in fruitfulness. God gave man a command and said,
[1:19:04] Speaker 2: be fruitful. I don't care what the medical condition is.
[1:19:08] Speaker 2: I decree in the name of Jesus, be fruitful. Be fruitful.
[1:19:14] Speaker 2: Be fruitful. That by this time next year, you will
[1:19:18] Speaker 2: return dancing with your children. In the mighty name of
[1:19:22] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. Amen. God bless you. Please return to your seat.
[1:19:26] Speaker 2: Let me see if we can. I'm teaching on influence.
[1:19:29] Speaker 2: Please be seated. Let's take it from there and see
[1:19:31] Speaker 2: how God helps us. I hope I've not lost you.
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: So we're discussing the three tools that will allow for dominion, practical,
[1:19:42] Speaker 2: experiential dominion. Number one, we said evangelism as the gateway
[1:19:46] Speaker 2: to salvation. Number two, we spoke about transformation as the
[1:19:51] Speaker 2: gateway that leads to maturity and that through discipleship. Now,
[1:19:55] Speaker 2: number three, we're talking of influence. Influence. Let me define
[1:20:00] Speaker 2: for you what influence is. Influence is defined as the
[1:20:05] Speaker 2: capacity to have an effect on the mindset, the convictions,
[1:20:12] Speaker 2: the mindset and the convictions of men without using force
[1:20:17] Speaker 2: or cruelty. The capacity to have an effect on the
[1:20:23] Speaker 2: mindset and the conviction of men without using force or
[1:20:28] Speaker 2: cruelty is called influence. It is a major key to
[1:20:33] Speaker 2: kingdom advance. If you do not understand the principle of influence,
[1:20:38] Speaker 2: then you will never know how to establish dominion territorially.
[1:20:44] Speaker 2: Dominion talks about establishing and enforcing the government, the values
[1:20:52] Speaker 2: and the possibilities of heaven on earth. Dominion is about
[1:20:57] Speaker 2: establishing dominion And enforcing the government, the values, and the
[1:21:02] Speaker 2: possibilities of heaven on earth. And the way that happens
[1:21:07] Speaker 2: is through influence. Now perhaps you may have heard me
[1:21:11] Speaker 2: say that the kingdom of heaven, just like the kingdom
[1:21:15] Speaker 2: of darkness, are spiritual kingdoms. Hallelujah. They are spiritual kingdoms,
[1:21:19] Speaker 2: meaning you cannot see them visibly. However, they depend on
[1:21:24] Speaker 2: physical infrastructures to make their influence known to men. And
[1:21:29] Speaker 2: the infrastructures are threefold. Number one, men. Number two, belief
[1:21:35] Speaker 2: systems or ideologies. Number three, institutions or systems. So when
[1:21:40] Speaker 2: you see... The manifestation of evil within a territory is
[1:21:45] Speaker 2: a testament and attestation to the presence of the rain
[1:21:49] Speaker 2: and the dominion of darkness. And that darkness, even though
[1:21:53] Speaker 2: it is spiritual, it was able to find expression in
[1:21:56] Speaker 2: the world of men through these three infrastructures. Men, human entities,
[1:22:02] Speaker 2: belief systems, and then institutions. The same way the kingdom
[1:22:07] Speaker 2: of light, the kingdom of heaven is a spiritual kingdom.
[1:22:10] Speaker 2: You cannot see it physically. However, it seeks to permeate
[1:22:14] Speaker 2: the world of men through this threefold structure also. Men,
[1:22:18] Speaker 2: belief systems, and institutions. So when Satan wants to hijack
[1:22:24] Speaker 2: Port Harcourt, the way he comes in to hijack Port
[1:22:28] Speaker 2: Harcourt is number one, to capture men. To capture belief systems.
[1:22:33] Speaker 2: Then to build institutions. That enforce that belief system. So
[1:22:38] Speaker 2: when you want to liberate a territory. You start by
[1:22:42] Speaker 2: doing the inner work of spiritual regeneration through salvation. Then
[1:22:47] Speaker 2: the next port of call. Is to release them from
[1:22:49] Speaker 2: the chain of bondage that has come through their belief system.
[1:22:53] Speaker 2: And then you use the tool of influence to now
[1:22:57] Speaker 2: become a power broker within the territory. So that you
[1:23:01] Speaker 2: now influence the policies and the systems that work for
[1:23:06] Speaker 2: or against the counsel of God. Everybody say influence. Listen
[1:23:09] Speaker 2: to me. You never will be able to enforce the
[1:23:13] Speaker 2: government of heaven within a territory if you do not
[1:23:17] Speaker 2: understand influence. No matter how transformed you are, it takes
[1:23:23] Speaker 2: influence to practically enforce dominion. And I define influence as
[1:23:29] Speaker 2: the capacity... To make men to buy into your ideology.
[1:23:36] Speaker 2: To have an effect on their mentality, their belief system
[1:23:40] Speaker 2: without using force or cruelty. Someone influence you to dress
[1:23:46] Speaker 2: the way you are dressing. Someone influence the kind of
[1:23:49] Speaker 2: food you eat. Someone influence your idea of success or failure.
[1:23:54] Speaker 2: And it matters who is influencing you. Believers, we are
[1:23:58] Speaker 2: not just called. To be called light means you are
[1:24:01] Speaker 2: given capacity to influence a system. Light is not passive.
[1:24:07] Speaker 2: Light is not silent. Salt is not tasteless. It can
[1:24:11] Speaker 2: be tasteless. But when you taste salt, your tongue will
[1:24:14] Speaker 2: tell you you are tasting something. Believers are not called
[1:24:18] Speaker 2: to be passive, to be inert, to be quiet. No. No.
[1:24:23] Speaker 2: The believer as a witness is a vital component of dominion.
[1:24:29] Speaker 2: Making kingdom come within a territory. Everybody say influence. Shout
[1:24:33] Speaker 2: it again. You cannot take charge until you can influence
[1:24:38] Speaker 2: the system. Hallelujah. And I'll be showing you the keys
[1:24:42] Speaker 2: to influence. This is really where I want us to
[1:24:45] Speaker 2: stay a bit. Influence. The subject of influence has not
[1:24:50] Speaker 2: been taught properly within the church. Or it has not
[1:24:54] Speaker 2: even been taught at all. For the average believer, our
[1:24:57] Speaker 2: understanding of influence is from a carnal standpoint. So we
[1:25:02] Speaker 2: use words respectfully like take over. And I understand what
[1:25:05] Speaker 2: we mean by those words. But the idea of take
[1:25:08] Speaker 2: over is influencing the government of heaven in the hearts
[1:25:13] Speaker 2: and minds of men. That is really the take over.
[1:25:16] Speaker 2: Before you talk infrastructure. infrastructure is a latter part in
[1:25:21] Speaker 2: fact it's an effect of a mindset that has already
[1:25:25] Speaker 2: come under the influence of satan or come under the
[1:25:28] Speaker 2: influence of heaven do you understand now so when we
[1:25:31] Speaker 2: talk about super imposing the government of christ within a
[1:25:35] Speaker 2: territory it's a battle for the hearts and the minds
[1:25:38] Speaker 2: of men say hearts Say minds. One more time. Say hearts.
[1:25:43] Speaker 2: Say minds. So if God wants to establish his program
[1:25:47] Speaker 2: in Port Harcourt, God is not interested in the infrastructure yet.
[1:25:54] Speaker 2: He will come there. But the real battlefield is the
[1:25:57] Speaker 2: heart of men through salvation and the minds of men
[1:26:01] Speaker 2: through transformation. When he can get those things, then influence
[1:26:05] Speaker 2: is the consequence. So you see that the influence is
[1:26:08] Speaker 2: the natural consequence. Of salvation plus transformation. You cannot work
[1:26:16] Speaker 2: in kingdom influence until you are transformed. And you cannot
[1:26:21] Speaker 2: have dominion until you have influence. Who understands this? So
[1:26:26] Speaker 2: dominion is impossible without kingdom influence. And kingdom influence is
[1:26:31] Speaker 2: impossible without transformation. And transformation is impossible without salvation. Write
[1:26:45] Speaker 2: this down. Dominion, I wrote here, through influence, is a
[1:26:53] Speaker 2: sacred responsibility and must be seen as so rather than
[1:27:01] Speaker 2: a basis for pride and ego. Dominion through influence is
[1:27:07] Speaker 2: a sacred responsibility and it must be seen as so
[1:27:11] Speaker 2: Rather than the basis of pride and ego. So when
[1:27:15] Speaker 2: we say you are a kingdom influencer, what comes to
[1:27:20] Speaker 2: our mind is TikTok, YouTube, likes, follows. And we have
[1:27:24] Speaker 2: a celebrity mentality that massages our ego. But I'm giving
[1:27:28] Speaker 2: you a reorientation that when you talk the language of
[1:27:31] Speaker 2: influence and dominion, don't think ego. Think a sacred responsibility
[1:27:38] Speaker 2: that you have been given a unique opportunity. Are we together?
[1:27:41] Speaker 2: To steward and spearhead the establishment of God's culture, God's life,
[1:27:48] Speaker 2: God's value system within your territory. The Bible says, let
[1:27:52] Speaker 2: it be done in earth as it is in heaven.
[1:27:56] Speaker 2: So an influencer, a kingdom influencer is a custodian of
[1:28:01] Speaker 2: the life, the values and the possibilities of the kingdom.
[1:28:05] Speaker 2: And your assignment is to use the strategies I'll be
[1:28:08] Speaker 2: showing you now to allow all of that to be
[1:28:11] Speaker 2: established within your territory. Now please look up. Dominion is
[1:28:18] Speaker 2: the life of Christ plus the mind of Christ. If
[1:28:23] Speaker 2: you have the life of Christ alone without the mind
[1:28:27] Speaker 2: of Christ, you cannot have dominion. Many believers have the
[1:28:31] Speaker 2: life of Christ through salvation. But they do not have
[1:28:36] Speaker 2: the mind of Christ through transformation. So they cannot walk
[1:28:39] Speaker 2: in peace. in dominion. Now there are unbelievers who have
[1:28:44] Speaker 2: contended for principles. Pro-kingdom principles that are likened to the
[1:28:50] Speaker 2: mind of Christ. But they do not have the life
[1:28:52] Speaker 2: of Christ. And with it they have built enviable empires.
[1:28:57] Speaker 2: Are we learning now believers? So it's wonderful to be saved.
[1:29:01] Speaker 2: But the life of Christ. The potential. The riches of
[1:29:05] Speaker 2: that life. Is powered only. When you have the mind
[1:29:09] Speaker 2: of Christ. You can say I am saved. And that
[1:29:12] Speaker 2: statement becomes useless to your world. Until you are transformed.
[1:29:16] Speaker 2: So transformation is the window. Through which the life of
[1:29:20] Speaker 2: Christ finds expression through you. Like a fragrance. How many
[1:29:23] Speaker 2: of you know that if you buy a cologne. Or
[1:29:26] Speaker 2: a perfume. It has the capacity to smell nice. Make
[1:29:30] Speaker 2: you smell nice. And make the room smell nice. But
[1:29:33] Speaker 2: you must understand the dynamics behind. Of applying the pressure
[1:29:37] Speaker 2: that releases it. Am I right? You can have that
[1:29:39] Speaker 2: perfume no matter what it is called. You can drop
[1:29:42] Speaker 2: it on your table. And the room can have a
[1:29:44] Speaker 2: foul smell. Yet there's capacity to in an instant. Change
[1:29:49] Speaker 2: that with the fragrance. The Bible says thanks be to God.
[1:29:54] Speaker 2: Which causes us always to triumph. And causes like a fragrance.
[1:29:59] Speaker 2: The knowledge of the Lord by us. The Bible says
[1:30:04] Speaker 2: that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, is
[1:30:06] Speaker 2: it in your Bible, that it will cover the earth
[1:30:09] Speaker 2: as water has covered the sea. And yet for many
[1:30:12] Speaker 2: believers who have not succeeded in that assignment. So very quickly,
[1:30:16] Speaker 2: let me show you the pillars of influence. If it
[1:30:20] Speaker 2: is true that taking charge or what we call dominion,
[1:30:26] Speaker 2: Is influence dependent. Then I want to show you the
[1:30:30] Speaker 2: pillars of influence. If you do not have these pillars
[1:30:34] Speaker 2: at work in your life. Forget about influence. And forget
[1:30:37] Speaker 2: about dominion. Are we learning? Pillars of influence. Pray in
[1:30:41] Speaker 2: the spirit for one moment. Mighty God. Pillars of influence.
[1:30:57] Speaker 2: In Jesus' marvelous name, we pray. The first pillar of
[1:31:02] Speaker 2: influence is called growth and transformation. Write that down. We
[1:31:06] Speaker 2: discussed that already. The first pillar of influence. That means
[1:31:10] Speaker 2: anytime you find someone who has attained unto kingdom influence,
[1:31:15] Speaker 2: these are the pillars that have formed and framed that
[1:31:19] Speaker 2: dimension of reality that he stepped into. Number one, growth
[1:31:23] Speaker 2: and transformation. Sustaining superior beliefs. Attaining maturity by the word.
[1:31:32] Speaker 2: Luke 2.52. Jesus increased in wisdom. He increased in stature.
[1:31:38] Speaker 2: He increased in favor with God and with men. Isn't
[1:31:42] Speaker 2: it amazing that Jesus increased in these first before the
[1:31:47] Speaker 2: anointing came later? We have reversed it. So there are
[1:31:52] Speaker 2: baby Jesuses for want of word. who do not have wisdom, stature,
[1:31:58] Speaker 2: no favor, but they want to jump from that state
[1:32:02] Speaker 2: to Acts chapter 10 immediately. So even when they cry
[1:32:05] Speaker 2: for the anointing, it becomes useless because the value of
[1:32:08] Speaker 2: the anointing is that it rests upon growth. When the
[1:32:13] Speaker 2: anointing rests upon capacity, when the anointing rests upon transformation,
[1:32:19] Speaker 2: when the anointing rests upon growth, you now see the potential.
[1:32:24] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning now? So before you say give me,
[1:32:28] Speaker 2: the prayer is make me. It is first make me
[1:32:34] Speaker 2: before give me. When you say give me, you are
[1:32:37] Speaker 2: making the mistake of the prodigal son. The first thing
[1:32:41] Speaker 2: he would have asked the father is make me. Let
[1:32:44] Speaker 2: me become a man of capacity. But he said give
[1:32:46] Speaker 2: me and the father gave him. He lost the ability
[1:32:51] Speaker 2: to retain that which was given because he was not made.
[1:32:55] Speaker 2: At the end of his life, he returned back to
[1:32:56] Speaker 2: his father and said, make me. Don't give me again.
[1:33:00] Speaker 2: Make me. I'm not worthy to be called your son.
[1:33:03] Speaker 2: Make me. That's what he would have asked for the
[1:33:06] Speaker 2: first time. So before you say, give me, give me power,
[1:33:10] Speaker 2: give me influence, say, Lord, make me. Someone say, Lord,
[1:33:13] Speaker 2: make me. He's a maker of men. When he makes you,
[1:33:18] Speaker 2: you don't even need to ask him to give you
[1:33:20] Speaker 2: certain things. Because there are many givings that accompany makings.
[1:33:25] Speaker 2: Are we together? Many of you as parents, there are
[1:33:28] Speaker 2: blessings you have put right now for your children. But
[1:33:31] Speaker 2: you put a certain age to it. And no matter
[1:33:34] Speaker 2: how the child cries, because he's not made, the giving
[1:33:38] Speaker 2: will be useless. Believers are always conscious of God, give me.
[1:33:42] Speaker 2: The matured ones say, God, make me. Is somebody learning?
[1:33:50] Speaker 2: When God makes you, it becomes very easy to give you.
[1:33:55] Speaker 2: Because giving in the kingdom is trust. He gave unto one.
[1:33:59] Speaker 2: Five talents. Two talents. One talent. According to their several makings.
[1:34:07] Speaker 2: Their several ability. Not according to his love for them. God,
[1:34:15] Speaker 2: can you give me 1,000 members? Can you give me 10,000 members?
[1:34:20] Speaker 2: It's not a wise prayer. A nobler prayer is God
[1:34:24] Speaker 2: make me, build me to become the kind of vessel
[1:34:28] Speaker 2: that can steward kingdom influence and leadership over 10,000 people.
[1:34:34] Speaker 2: And as you are focused on growing, your growth will
[1:34:37] Speaker 2: be attracting the blessings that were ordained to match that growth.
[1:34:42] Speaker 2: There are blessings that have been preordained to match certain
[1:34:46] Speaker 2: levels of growth. Are we together? Let me give you
[1:34:50] Speaker 2: an example. How many of you know that let's use
[1:34:53] Speaker 2: our father in the Lord, Daddy Gio. Let's assume that
[1:34:57] Speaker 2: he just lands in Port Harcourt now. And says, I
[1:35:01] Speaker 2: forgot my wallet in Lagos. Can somebody... Before he says can, somebody,
[1:35:07] Speaker 2: if at all he says it. Somebody will say, thank
[1:35:09] Speaker 2: God you forgot it because I've been looking for how
[1:35:12] Speaker 2: to bless you. That guy that wants to bless him
[1:35:14] Speaker 2: has relatives who he has not given money to. The
[1:35:17] Speaker 2: reason is because of capacity. The man who will bring
[1:35:22] Speaker 2: 100 million and say daddy, please can you use this
[1:35:25] Speaker 2: for recharge card? Please talk to me intelligent people. Do
[1:35:27] Speaker 2: you use 100 million to buy recharge card? He's kneeling,
[1:35:33] Speaker 2: he's begging. It's not idol worship. To him it's a privilege.
[1:35:39] Speaker 2: And yet somebody is asking for one million naira. And
[1:35:42] Speaker 2: the uncle will not give him. Everybody is a giver.
[1:35:46] Speaker 2: It depends on the capacity of the one asking. Is
[1:35:57] Speaker 2: somebody learning now? God can you give me a global anointing.
[1:36:02] Speaker 2: That takes me around the nation. Wrong prayer. Can you
[1:36:06] Speaker 2: make me? Can you mold me? Like the potter and
[1:36:10] Speaker 2: the clay. Can you cut away these dross? Can you
[1:36:14] Speaker 2: take away the dross? So that the silver and the
[1:36:17] Speaker 2: gold will be refined. While that is happening, you will
[1:36:20] Speaker 2: find yourself across the nations. While that, oh God, can
[1:36:24] Speaker 2: you replicate the grace that is upon Reverend George or me?
[1:36:28] Speaker 2: And God says, no. What you are asking for is
[1:36:31] Speaker 2: 20 years of discipline in the spirit. 30 years of
[1:36:34] Speaker 2: consistency in the spirit. While it can be a leverage
[1:36:38] Speaker 2: to you, the prayer is the enabling grace to stay.
[1:36:42] Speaker 2: Most believers will have their prayer answered if they focus
[1:36:46] Speaker 2: on making more than giving. Making. Making. Is somebody learning?
[1:36:57] Speaker 2: Let me give you a very humorous story. I'll give
[1:37:00] Speaker 2: you that story and then I'll run away from, I
[1:37:03] Speaker 2: won't talk about it again. It's an uncomfortable thing, that's
[1:37:05] Speaker 2: what I want to talk about. When I started ministry,
[1:37:08] Speaker 2: I would go to preach somewhere. I didn't know that
[1:37:12] Speaker 2: they used to give anything like honorarium, you know, a seed,
[1:37:15] Speaker 2: just to give you food or whatever. I would just
[1:37:18] Speaker 2: preach and just go back home. Then gradually, I remember sometimes,
[1:37:22] Speaker 2: they would wait for me until I climbed my bike first.
[1:37:25] Speaker 2: You know, stop a bike to go back home. Then,
[1:37:28] Speaker 2: you know this notebook, this 2A, 3A notebook, they would
[1:37:32] Speaker 2: roll it like you're rolling meat pie. Maybe little, maybe 1,000 naira,
[1:37:36] Speaker 2: and just squeeze it as if they are bribing me.
[1:37:38] Speaker 2: I said, man of God, I hope you are not Sorry,
[1:37:41] Speaker 2: you'll just use this one to pay for your transport.
[1:37:44] Speaker 2: Of course, I was not offended. I didn't even know.
[1:37:47] Speaker 2: It was a privilege to me. You see that now.
[1:37:50] Speaker 2: But I was wondering, I mean, can't these guys at
[1:37:52] Speaker 2: least put it in an envelope to make it presentable?
[1:37:55] Speaker 2: Why make it look like you are bribing me? Sometimes
[1:37:57] Speaker 2: they literally will just chuck it somewhere. And I'm saying,
[1:38:00] Speaker 2: come on. I took time to fast and pray and
[1:38:03] Speaker 2: hold my Bible. Why put money as if you are
[1:38:05] Speaker 2: bribing me? But do you know, I never told anybody,
[1:38:08] Speaker 2: change that method. I just grew. There is a way
[1:38:13] Speaker 2: you grow that that scenario will never happen in your
[1:38:16] Speaker 2: life again. Pastors, learn this. Rather than saying, see what
[1:38:21] Speaker 2: they gave me. Take that as a challenge and go
[1:38:25] Speaker 2: to the secret place. And say, Lord, enlarge me. Enlarge me.
[1:38:29] Speaker 2: Enlarge me. Is somebody learning now Oh apostle I went
[1:38:36] Speaker 2: for a meeting Can you imagine they kept me at
[1:38:38] Speaker 2: the back And they saw me They kept me at
[1:38:41] Speaker 2: the back Don't be offended Continue growing There is a
[1:38:45] Speaker 2: way the making happens You carry a weight in the
[1:38:48] Speaker 2: spirit It doesn't matter whether you are liked or not.
[1:38:52] Speaker 2: There is an influence that comes with that weight of glory.
[1:38:56] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning now? Please focus. I'm going to give
[1:39:00] Speaker 2: you a few keys now. I've given you one. Growth
[1:39:03] Speaker 2: and transformation is the first pillar of influence. Children cannot
[1:39:09] Speaker 2: command dominion even though it is their heritage. Children cannot
[1:39:15] Speaker 2: command dominion even though it is their heritage. You must grow.
[1:39:20] Speaker 2: Obtain grace to grow. How do you grow? By submitting
[1:39:23] Speaker 2: yourself methodically to the ministry of prayer. Luke 9 29.
[1:39:28] Speaker 2: And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered.
[1:39:31] Speaker 2: And his raiment became white and glittering. How do you grow?
[1:39:35] Speaker 2: By engaging on the word of God for your edification.
[1:39:39] Speaker 2: Acts 20 and verse 32. And now brethren. I commend
[1:39:43] Speaker 2: you to God and to the word of his grace.
[1:39:44] Speaker 2: Which is able to build you up. And to give
[1:39:47] Speaker 2: you an inheritance. Among them that are sanctified. Colossians 3.16.
[1:39:52] Speaker 2: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. In
[1:39:55] Speaker 2: all wisdom. Speaking. To yourself in psalms, hymns, spiritual songs.
[1:40:01] Speaker 2: Making melody in your heart unto the Lord. How do
[1:40:05] Speaker 2: you grow? Submitting yourself in the place of worship. How
[1:40:09] Speaker 2: do you grow? Submitting yourself to the house of God
[1:40:12] Speaker 2: for growth. The Bible says the Lord hear you in
[1:40:18] Speaker 2: the day of battle. The day of trouble. The God
[1:40:21] Speaker 2: of Jacob defend you. It said, send you help from
[1:40:24] Speaker 2: a sanctuary and strengthen you from out of Zion. There
[1:40:28] Speaker 2: are things that only happen when you are in the
[1:40:30] Speaker 2: house of God. I was glad when they said unto me,
[1:40:34] Speaker 2: let us go to the house of the Lord. Are
[1:40:36] Speaker 2: we together? Praise the name of the Lord. The Bible
[1:40:38] Speaker 2: says to neglect not the assembling of the brethren. I'm
[1:40:41] Speaker 2: showing you the things that make for growth and transformation.
[1:40:44] Speaker 2: Read and study to show yourself approved unto God. A
[1:40:49] Speaker 2: workman that needed not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing the
[1:40:53] Speaker 2: word of truth. Number two. Very quickly. The second pillar
[1:40:59] Speaker 2: of influence. Remember I told you dominion is kingdom influence.
[1:41:04] Speaker 2: Second pillar. Are you ready? Value and productivity. Oh, I
[1:41:08] Speaker 2: cannot emphasize this enough. Value and productivity. Productivity. 1 Kings
[1:41:14] Speaker 2: chapter 7, 13 and 14. Value and productivity. You will
[1:41:20] Speaker 2: never be able to exert dominion upon a territory when
[1:41:25] Speaker 2: you are not productive. Believers, please listen to me. It's
[1:41:28] Speaker 2: important to pray. But in addition to prayer and fasting,
[1:41:33] Speaker 2: we must be valuable to our world. Otherwise, don't call
[1:41:36] Speaker 2: yourself light, don't call yourself salt. Remember, our priesthood is
[1:41:41] Speaker 2: after the order of Melchizedek. And the Bible speaks about Melchizedek,
[1:41:45] Speaker 2: the priest of the Most High, and then the king
[1:41:49] Speaker 2: of Salem. If you only show me your priesthood and
[1:41:53] Speaker 2: you don't show me your area of dominion, you have
[1:41:55] Speaker 2: compromised on the Melchizedek order. It is king priest. Priest
[1:42:00] Speaker 2: unto God, but king in the tech space. Priest unto God,
[1:42:05] Speaker 2: but king in the marketplace. Priest unto God, but king,
[1:42:09] Speaker 2: dominion within the leadership space. Let me read this very quickly.
[1:42:16] Speaker 2: And King Solomon sent and fetched Hiram Out of Tyre.
[1:42:22] Speaker 2: Now read about this guy called Hiram, verse 14. The
[1:42:25] Speaker 2: Bible says, let's read together. Can we see it projected? Everyone,
[1:42:30] Speaker 2: let's go. One, two, go. He was a widow's son
[1:42:34] Speaker 2: of the tribe of Naphtali. And his father was a
[1:42:38] Speaker 2: man of Tyre, a worker in brass. And he was
[1:42:41] Speaker 2: filled with what? Wisdom and understanding and wisdom. And he
[1:42:50] Speaker 2: came to King Solomon and wrought all. But what was
[1:42:54] Speaker 2: his beginning? He was whose son? What was his end? Palace.
[1:42:59] Speaker 2: He started as a widow's son. Why did the Bible
[1:43:02] Speaker 2: tell us he was a widow's son? Disadvantage. But the
[1:43:06] Speaker 2: Bible says he took advantage of wisdom and understanding. He
[1:43:10] Speaker 2: became cunning in all the works of brass. And he
[1:43:13] Speaker 2: came to King Solomon. Can I tell you? The reward
[1:43:17] Speaker 2: is always in the palace. Don't stop until you find
[1:43:20] Speaker 2: yourself in the palace. Keep interpreting the dreams even if
[1:43:23] Speaker 2: you are in prison. But don't stop growing. How do
[1:43:26] Speaker 2: I know when to stop? When you stand before the king.
[1:43:29] Speaker 2: If you are not yet before the king, don't stop growing.
[1:43:34] Speaker 2: Somehow we have a mentality in the church. That tries
[1:43:38] Speaker 2: to use spirituality as an excuse. To downplay the place
[1:43:43] Speaker 2: of value. How do you know you are valuable? By
[1:43:46] Speaker 2: who is pursuing you. If nobody is looking for you.
[1:43:50] Speaker 2: You are not valuable to your civilization. Mark 1.35-37. And
[1:43:57] Speaker 2: rising up early. A great while. While he was mourning.
[1:44:01] Speaker 2: He departed into a solitary place. The he being Jesus.
[1:44:05] Speaker 2: And there prayed. 36. The Bible says Peter and all
[1:44:10] Speaker 2: that were with him did what? Followed after him. That's
[1:44:15] Speaker 2: how to know a valuable person. And verse 37 is
[1:44:18] Speaker 2: a prayer that I pray for you from my heart.
[1:44:20] Speaker 2: Read with me. One to go. And when they had
[1:44:23] Speaker 2: found him, they said unto him. How many men? All
[1:44:29] Speaker 2: businessmen seek for you. All politicians seek for you. All
[1:44:34] Speaker 2: academicians seek for you. All mothers seek for you. In
[1:44:38] Speaker 2: the name of Jesus. The level of value that will
[1:44:42] Speaker 2: make men forget your gender. Forget that you are a
[1:44:45] Speaker 2: widow's son. Forget whether you are from Port Harcourt or not.
[1:44:48] Speaker 2: And seek for you. And even reward you. Receive the
[1:44:52] Speaker 2: grace and the discipline to contend for that value. Listen
[1:44:59] Speaker 2: to me. Sometimes we use the issue of the anointing
[1:45:03] Speaker 2: to cover the discipline of growth. Are we together? If
[1:45:10] Speaker 2: you ask your pastor now, oh pastor, how did you
[1:45:14] Speaker 2: get to this level of exploits in ministry? With all humility,
[1:45:18] Speaker 2: he will say the grace of God. But let me
[1:45:20] Speaker 2: tell you sincerely. It is the grace of God received.
[1:45:24] Speaker 2: It is the grace of God utilized. And like you
[1:45:27] Speaker 2: may hear me say, it is the grace of God maximized.
[1:45:30] Speaker 2: Because grace can be abused. Don't say it's grace. Grace
[1:45:34] Speaker 2: is like rain. The person who brought his bucket was
[1:45:37] Speaker 2: responsible enough to trap the water and use it to
[1:45:40] Speaker 2: feed his family. The one who allowed the rain to
[1:45:43] Speaker 2: flow through a gutter also had the rain. Grace is
[1:45:46] Speaker 2: like rain. If you see it work in the life
[1:45:49] Speaker 2: of someone. He partnered with that grace. With the discipline
[1:45:53] Speaker 2: of utilization. In prayer. There is no gift of prayer.
[1:45:59] Speaker 2: In study. Study is labor. Submitting yourself to superior mentorship.
[1:46:06] Speaker 2: Is somebody learning? Say I receive grace. To be valuable.
[1:46:11] Speaker 2: I made up my mind as a man of God,
[1:46:13] Speaker 2: and you may have heard me say this, and with
[1:46:14] Speaker 2: all humility, that my relevance will never end on the pulpit.
[1:46:19] Speaker 2: That means once I am off pulpit, I'm useless to
[1:46:22] Speaker 2: my world until I'm holding a mic. God forbid. I
[1:46:26] Speaker 2: forbid it for you. In the name of Jesus Christ.
[1:46:30] Speaker 2: That kings can sit with you. Businessmen can sit with you.
[1:46:34] Speaker 2: That politicians will call you father. Not just because you
[1:46:38] Speaker 2: are a spiritual leader. But because of capacity and content.
[1:46:43] Speaker 2: Capacity and content. Let me challenge someone therefore. Please the
[1:46:47] Speaker 2: grace to sit down. Until you build. The grace to
[1:46:51] Speaker 2: sit down. Until your speakings become like the word of God.
[1:46:55] Speaker 2: I release that grace upon you. He says, my heart
[1:47:01] Speaker 2: is indicting a good matter. Yea, I speak of excellent things.
[1:47:04] Speaker 2: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Being
[1:47:09] Speaker 2: born again does not make men dummies. No. Don't speak
[1:47:16] Speaker 2: to kings. Listen. Don't speak to kings and act and
[1:47:21] Speaker 2: misrepresent God. Expand your capacity. What do you know about
[1:47:27] Speaker 2: your world? What do you know about leadership? What do
[1:47:31] Speaker 2: you know about governance? What do you know about finances?
[1:47:35] Speaker 2: You can't say a billionaire and just say, well, God
[1:47:38] Speaker 2: bless you. And you can't say anything whatsoever. You don't
[1:47:41] Speaker 2: need to know everything. But you need to know what
[1:47:44] Speaker 2: you need to make the grace on your life speak.
[1:47:50] Speaker 2: I made a covenant with God that I will never
[1:47:53] Speaker 2: stand before my generation and stand on the pulpit and
[1:47:56] Speaker 2: just waste people's time with empty noise.
[1:47:59] Speaker 1: No.
[1:48:01] Speaker 2: Am I challenging you? So you want to take over dominion?
[1:48:06] Speaker 2: Men will always gravitate towards productivity and value. Let me
[1:48:12] Speaker 2: remind you again. If nobody is looking for you, they
[1:48:15] Speaker 2: didn't forget you. is that they don't need you it's
[1:48:20] Speaker 2: an uncomfortable truth apostle everybody has forgotten me they were
[1:48:25] Speaker 2: all my classmates no they were your classmates but growth
[1:48:30] Speaker 2: has diverged into different possibilities Don't go around blackmailing people
[1:48:35] Speaker 2: and say, you can't remember me. The person can't remember
[1:48:37] Speaker 2: you but he doesn't want to carry an extra luggage.
[1:48:40] Speaker 2: Remember what happened when they carried Jonah in their boat.
[1:48:42] Speaker 2: People are decongesting their boats. They need to arrive on time.
[1:48:48] Speaker 2: So if you choose to be Jonah, you will cause
[1:48:51] Speaker 2: people to lose all kinds of things because of you.
[1:48:57] Speaker 2: Go and buy books. Go and buy tapes. Go and
[1:49:00] Speaker 2: sit down. Quit all this vain jesting around. Going on
[1:49:05] Speaker 2: social media to be a commentator. Leave all those things
[1:49:09] Speaker 2: and build capacity. That God can present you like a trophy.
[1:49:14] Speaker 2: As a man of God. As a businessman. Don't just
[1:49:17] Speaker 2: say I'm a real estate person. What do you know
[1:49:19] Speaker 2: about real estate? Well, honestly, God showed me in a vision. No, no.
[1:49:22] Speaker 2: That's for your secret place. That's not for the boardroom.
[1:49:26] Speaker 2: What you saw is for your secret place. Don't harass
[1:49:28] Speaker 2: and intimidate people in the boardroom. If you don't have capacity,
[1:49:31] Speaker 2: keep quiet. Who is learning? Value and productivity as a preacher.
[1:49:42] Speaker 2: Value and productivity as a businessman. Let me give you
[1:49:45] Speaker 2: number three very quickly, my goodness. Is somebody being challenged?
[1:49:50] Speaker 2: So number one, growth and transformation, the first pillar you
[1:49:54] Speaker 2: must contend for. Number two, value and productivity. Number three,
[1:49:58] Speaker 2: wisdom and excellence. Daniel 5, 12 to 15. Wisdom. The
[1:50:03] Speaker 2: third pillar is wisdom and excellence. For as much as
[1:50:07] Speaker 2: an excellent spirit and knowledge and understanding, interpreting of dreams
[1:50:12] Speaker 2: and showing or dissolving of hard sentences. I like this.
[1:50:17] Speaker 2: Give us NIV. Media, can we have this very quickly
[1:50:20] Speaker 2: so that we pray? Let's look at NIV verse beautiful.
[1:50:26] Speaker 2: Or NIV or whatever version. Now, let's read verse 12
[1:50:29] Speaker 2: and then I'll read to 15 by myself. Let's read.
[1:50:32] Speaker 2: Do we have NIV? Okay, beautiful. Let's go. One, two, go.
[1:50:34] Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
[1:50:39] Speaker 2: Belshazzar. was found to have a keen mind and knowledge
[1:50:44] Speaker 2: and understanding and also the ability to interpret dreams explain
[1:50:49] Speaker 2: riddles and solve difficult problems then he said call for
[1:50:54] Speaker 2: daniel and he will tell you what the writing means
[1:50:58] Speaker 2: call for who call for joshua selman hallelujah This is
[1:51:04] Speaker 2: your generation now calling. I won't call your name. I
[1:51:07] Speaker 2: will call my own name. It's up to you. If
[1:51:09] Speaker 2: you want, you can call your name. Call for Daniel.
[1:51:12] Speaker 2: Call for Gateway Church. There is a dimension of relevance.
[1:51:16] Speaker 2: We need them. Call for Daniel. 13. So Daniel was
[1:51:24] Speaker 2: brought before the king. And the king said to him,
[1:51:28] Speaker 2: Are you Daniel, one of the exiles my father the
[1:51:31] Speaker 2: king brought from Judah? 14. I have heard that the
[1:51:35] Speaker 2: spirit of the gods is in you. And that you have,
[1:51:40] Speaker 2: read with me, inside. Number two. Intelligence. Number three. Read
[1:51:46] Speaker 2: it again. Number one. Number two. Number three. This is
[1:51:52] Speaker 2: what the Bible calls an excellent spirit. Insight, intelligence, outstanding wisdom.
[1:52:02] Speaker 1: 15.
[1:52:04] Speaker 2: He said, the wise men and enchanters were brought before
[1:52:09] Speaker 2: me to read these writings and to tell what it means,
[1:52:12] Speaker 2: but they could not explain it. Insight, intelligence, outstanding wisdom,
[1:52:19] Speaker 2: the excellent spirit. God's name is not only mighty. God's
[1:52:23] Speaker 2: name is excellent. Your name too should be excellent. It says,
[1:52:27] Speaker 2: O Lord our God, how excellent. O Joshua Selman, how excellent.
[1:52:34] Speaker 2: O Reverend George, how excellent. O Gateway, how excellent. Press
[1:52:41] Speaker 2: for excellence. Excellence means to be competent. To surpass ordinary standards.
[1:52:50] Speaker 2: Ordinary standards. Ordinary standards to be thorough, to be a
[1:52:55] Speaker 2: master of your craft. As a preacher, don't just preach,
[1:53:02] Speaker 2: be excellent. Excellent. Is somebody learning now? That's a pillar
[1:53:08] Speaker 2: of influence. I remember last, no, year before last, when
[1:53:14] Speaker 2: I came here, while this work was ongoing, I mean,
[1:53:18] Speaker 2: a year later when I came, I couldn't even identify
[1:53:20] Speaker 2: the place again. It had changed. I remember, I think
[1:53:23] Speaker 2: it was drizzling or raining. When I came, the work
[1:53:26] Speaker 2: was being done. And I just came in and I said,
[1:53:28] Speaker 2: can you imagine within one year? Within one year. I
[1:53:42] Speaker 2: got to find out that there's been a little closure
[1:53:45] Speaker 2: on the main road here and all of that. But
[1:53:48] Speaker 2: did you know with all that closure, many of you
[1:53:50] Speaker 2: have been faithful. You will squeeze through every angle and
[1:53:53] Speaker 2: come to church. It is not just because you love
[1:53:55] Speaker 2: Jesus alone. It is also because the spirit of excellence
[1:53:59] Speaker 2: resides within you. Nobody leaves what walks. Did you hear
[1:54:03] Speaker 2: what I said? Nobody leaves what walks. Because there are
[1:54:07] Speaker 2: not too many things that walk in this hour world. Excellence.
[1:54:15] Speaker 2: My beloved people in the worship team, let me encourage
[1:54:18] Speaker 2: you to be excellent. Don't just stand to sing and
[1:54:22] Speaker 2: then one person is singing verse 2. The other person
[1:54:24] Speaker 2: is singing, no, I'm not, I'm not spiting you. I'm
[1:54:27] Speaker 2: just speaking generally. Have you seen that kind of thing?
[1:54:30] Speaker 2: The person who is leading worship just forgets about the
[1:54:33] Speaker 2: people who are backing up with him and just raises
[1:54:36] Speaker 2: his hands up all by himself and the rest are
[1:54:38] Speaker 2: now confused. What verse is this? No, excellence. Let me
[1:54:42] Speaker 2: tell you this. Excellence is a product of practice. The
[1:54:47] Speaker 2: stage is not for practice. The wilderness is for practice.
[1:54:51] Speaker 2: Don't come to practice on stage. No. There is what
[1:54:54] Speaker 2: we call the cave of Adulam. Learn to kill the
[1:54:58] Speaker 2: lion in the wilderness. Don't stand before Goliath to learn
[1:55:01] Speaker 2: to kill the first time. That's a dangerous experiment. Goliath
[1:55:05] Speaker 2: is a warrior. Start with the lion. Start with the bear.
[1:55:09] Speaker 2: Even if they injure you, you will heal. When you
[1:55:11] Speaker 2: stand before Goliath, it's champion versus champion. There are many
[1:55:17] Speaker 2: of us who have allowed our lions and our bears
[1:55:20] Speaker 2: to roam around, but we are just anticipating Goliath. Are
[1:55:24] Speaker 2: you sure you can stand when you see him? David
[1:55:28] Speaker 2: was not just conscious of the covenant of God. Read
[1:55:31] Speaker 2: about David from the tribe of the Benjamites. I've studied them.
[1:55:34] Speaker 2: The Benjamites, one of their area of specialty is that
[1:55:37] Speaker 2: they had capacity to sling arrows. It was not only
[1:55:41] Speaker 2: David who could sling it. It was the heritage of
[1:55:43] Speaker 2: the Benjamites. So he was not just the only one
[1:55:47] Speaker 2: who could uniquely sling it. Throw the sling. You see
[1:55:50] Speaker 2: that now? It is true that the anointing of the
[1:55:53] Speaker 2: Spirit came, but it rested upon an art that had
[1:55:57] Speaker 2: been mastered. That's why he did not hit Goliath twice. Twice.
[1:56:03] Speaker 2: Some of us would have wasted that anointing and wasted
[1:56:05] Speaker 2: all the five stones. If David missed Goliath once, I'm
[1:56:11] Speaker 2: not sure he would have lived to do the second one.
[1:56:14] Speaker 2: There are certain opportunities in life that will not give
[1:56:18] Speaker 2: you room to rehearse. You need to be flawless. And
[1:56:22] Speaker 2: hit it once. Therefore I pray for you. The spirit
[1:56:26] Speaker 2: of excellence. In the name that is above all names.
[1:56:29] Speaker 2: From the depth of my heart. Let it rest upon
[1:56:32] Speaker 2: you now. Excellent businesses arise. Excellent ministries arise. You will
[1:56:40] Speaker 2: be masters of your craft. You will be known all
[1:56:43] Speaker 2: around Port Harcourt. To be the individual who stands out
[1:56:47] Speaker 2: in a specific area. Shout Amen. Amen. Shout Amen again.
[1:56:54] Speaker 2: Let me speak to all the pastors and all the
[1:56:58] Speaker 2: leaders who are under this grace and this ministry. I
[1:57:01] Speaker 2: know that there are several expressions. Please, strive by the
[1:57:05] Speaker 2: mercy of God to be excellent. Don't compromise on the standard.
[1:57:10] Speaker 2: There is what we call standardization. There's what we call
[1:57:14] Speaker 2: quality control. You know what quality control means? It is
[1:57:17] Speaker 2: responsible for ensuring that standards are not compromised. Let there
[1:57:24] Speaker 2: be a spiritual quality control in your life. That every
[1:57:27] Speaker 2: time you deliver, you deliver to expectation. Not up today
[1:57:32] Speaker 2: and then down tomorrow. As a preacher, today's sermon is powerful.
[1:57:35] Speaker 2: Next tomorrow, they wonder whether you are born again. Next week,
[1:57:39] Speaker 2: it will look like you have returned from a retreat.
[1:57:41] Speaker 2: By the next week, it's like you are exhausted. No, sir.
[1:57:43] Speaker 2: That's amateurism. That's the word. The Bible says, he that
[1:57:49] Speaker 2: strives for mastery... is not crowned unless he strives lawfully.
[1:57:55] Speaker 2: So number one, growth and transformation, the first pillar of
[1:57:59] Speaker 2: dominion and influence. Number two, value and productivity. Number three,
[1:58:06] Speaker 2: wisdom and excellence. Let me give you number four. Number
[1:58:08] Speaker 2: four is so uncomfortable but true we're about wrapping up
[1:58:12] Speaker 2: wealth and abundance the fourth pillar wealth and abundance genesis
[1:58:20] Speaker 2: 42 1 and 2 you cannot exact dominion and influence
[1:58:25] Speaker 2: within a territory if you do not trust god for
[1:58:28] Speaker 2: grace and To work in sufficiency. There is a relationship
[1:58:33] Speaker 2: between sufficiency. Economic emancipation. And practical dominion. Let me tell
[1:58:39] Speaker 2: you one truth. It's a hard saying. But nobody follows
[1:58:44] Speaker 2: anything that resembles failure. You can cry that you are
[1:58:49] Speaker 2: sincere all you want. But this is the world of men.
[1:58:52] Speaker 2: People follow what looks like the destiny they saw. Are
[1:58:57] Speaker 2: we together? You can't carry grave clothes and tell people,
[1:59:01] Speaker 2: follow me to resurrection. They say, lose that. It's not
[1:59:05] Speaker 2: enough to come out of the grave. Remove the grave clothes.
[1:59:09] Speaker 2: If you are alive and you are still carrying grave clothes,
[1:59:11] Speaker 2: nobody will follow you. Read Genesis 42, 1 and 2.
[1:59:16] Speaker 2: Very profound scripture. When Jacob saw that there was corn
[1:59:20] Speaker 2: in Egypt, where was corn found? Please shout it. Egypt.
[1:59:27] Speaker 2: Corn is good. But the location is a wrong place.
[1:59:30] Speaker 2: Because it's not a place that honored God. Corn found
[1:59:34] Speaker 2: in Egypt. But Jacob as a prophet was hungry. So
[1:59:41] Speaker 2: there's a problem here. Hunger, there is corn. But the
[1:59:45] Speaker 2: problem is where it is found. Egypt. Hunger, there is money.
[1:59:50] Speaker 2: But the money is found with a man hungry. Who
[1:59:53] Speaker 2: wants to destroy your life for you to have it.
[1:59:55] Speaker 2: Are you seeing the problem now? Verse 2. He said, Jacob. Behold,
[2:00:02] Speaker 2: I have heard that there is corn in Egypt. He
[2:00:05] Speaker 2: told his children. Why is it? Get down, Tita. And
[2:00:10] Speaker 2: buy from us from thence. So that we will live
[2:00:13] Speaker 2: and not die. This is a very dangerous statement. Jacob.
[2:00:19] Speaker 2: As a prophet of God. A man who understood the
[2:00:22] Speaker 2: ordinances of consecration, he did not understand how to get corn.
[2:00:28] Speaker 2: And because there was hunger, the Bible says he told
[2:00:31] Speaker 2: the children, he said, listen, we have money, but we
[2:00:35] Speaker 2: don't have corn. They said there's corn in Egypt. Let's
[2:00:39] Speaker 2: go down there and buy so that we don't die.
[2:00:41] Speaker 2: Do you know that's how they got there? Eventually they
[2:00:45] Speaker 2: moved to live with Joseph. That's how they eventually became slaves.
[2:00:49] Speaker 2: Hunger will always take Israel to Egypt. Satan knows that
[2:00:59] Speaker 2: the only way to take you to Egypt is to
[2:01:01] Speaker 2: make sure there is no corn where you are. But
[2:01:04] Speaker 2: he will put corn in Egypt. Are we together? So
[2:01:10] Speaker 2: the rich man who wants to help you is an unbeliever.
[2:01:13] Speaker 2: And he's a godless unbeliever. And he wants to destroy
[2:01:16] Speaker 2: your life. Con in Egypt. But by the time your
[2:01:20] Speaker 2: mother is sick. And they tell you mama is going
[2:01:22] Speaker 2: to die. She needs 10 million. You will do exactly
[2:01:25] Speaker 2: what Jacob has done. It's easy to say oh God forbid.
[2:01:28] Speaker 2: I won't compromise. But there is a level of hunger.
[2:01:31] Speaker 2: That takes away reasoning. So when we talk about. being
[2:01:36] Speaker 2: prosperous financially, please separate your mind from this childish thing
[2:01:41] Speaker 2: of just trying to have money. It's a responsible approach
[2:01:45] Speaker 2: to defending your consecration. Wealth is a defender of consecration.
[2:01:52] Speaker 2: Did you hear what I said? There are certain manipulations
[2:01:58] Speaker 2: your pastor will never be involved with. That temptation will
[2:02:01] Speaker 2: not even come to him. You know why? Because one,
[2:02:04] Speaker 2: he's a child of God. But number two, by mercy,
[2:02:08] Speaker 2: he has the economic wherewithal. The value of temptation is
[2:02:12] Speaker 2: that it connects with a need in you. Are we together?
[2:02:17] Speaker 2: If I'm not hungry, the temptation to turn stones to
[2:02:20] Speaker 2: bread will be useless to me. Let me tell you this,
[2:02:27] Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen. You cannot be a power broker in destiny.
[2:02:32] Speaker 2: If God does not help you to be of economic means.
[2:02:35] Speaker 2: And I don't mean a lavish display of childish. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[2:02:40] Speaker 2: I'm talking of economic emancipation that comes with responsibility to
[2:02:45] Speaker 2: help you meet your needs. Do you know there are
[2:02:48] Speaker 2: many children of pastors today who will never be pastors
[2:02:52] Speaker 2: because they saw what their parents went through. There are
[2:02:55] Speaker 2: children of pastors today who will even prefer to serve
[2:02:58] Speaker 2: the devil because it looked like God scammed them. They
[2:03:01] Speaker 2: saw their parents serve God and yet they drove the
[2:03:04] Speaker 2: children from school. And they say, what kind of a
[2:03:07] Speaker 2: God is this? That my father is serving God, would
[2:03:10] Speaker 2: not steal, would not do anything wrong, but my father
[2:03:13] Speaker 2: cannot afford a decent meal. There is corn, but it
[2:03:18] Speaker 2: is in Egypt. I pray for you. The wisdom that
[2:03:22] Speaker 2: makes corn available in your house so that you don't
[2:03:25] Speaker 2: have to go to Egypt. Egypt is not the only
[2:03:28] Speaker 2: place corn can be found. Let me pray, not for everybody,
[2:03:32] Speaker 2: but for someone who knows the power and the value
[2:03:35] Speaker 2: of financial resources and economic wherewithal. I pray for you
[2:03:40] Speaker 2: for the sake of your destiny, for the sake of
[2:03:43] Speaker 2: God's program, and for the sake of your integrity. May
[2:03:47] Speaker 2: God empower you financially. The wisdom that leads to financial
[2:03:54] Speaker 2: empowerment so that there will be no need for compromise.
[2:03:59] Speaker 2: I pray for you from my heart. May God grant
[2:04:02] Speaker 2: you access to it. We're about to pray. Please sit down.
[2:04:09] Speaker 2: I've had the honor of talking even with pastors. Some
[2:04:12] Speaker 2: of them have opened up to me and said, Apostle,
[2:04:14] Speaker 2: I do not like the way I'm living my life.
[2:04:17] Speaker 2: These bills, I know that the prophetic word I gave
[2:04:20] Speaker 2: is not true. But it is hunger. There are bills.
[2:04:24] Speaker 2: I know I should not do what I have done.
[2:04:27] Speaker 2: My conscience is pricking me. But I know I will
[2:04:30] Speaker 2: repeat it again. Because where I found my own corn
[2:04:34] Speaker 2: is called Egypt. But the Bible says in Psalm 112.
[2:04:37] Speaker 2: It says blessed is the man that feared the Lord.
[2:04:42] Speaker 2: It says he's delighted greatly in his commands. It says
[2:04:48] Speaker 2: he's seeded. Shall be mighty upon earth. Do you believe that?
[2:04:52] Speaker 2: The generation of the upright shall be blessed. Read verse
[2:04:56] Speaker 2: 3 as if you are a Christian. It says wealth
[2:04:59] Speaker 2: and riches shall be where? So there is corn in Egypt.
[2:05:03] Speaker 2: But there can be corn in your house. So that
[2:05:06] Speaker 2: you do not need to go to Egypt. So that
[2:05:08] Speaker 2: when Egypt calls you and says come. You say no
[2:05:10] Speaker 2: I have corn in my house. I would rather bring
[2:05:12] Speaker 2: people out of Egypt. And bring them to my house.
[2:05:16] Speaker 2: The house of God. And say there is corn in
[2:05:18] Speaker 2: my house. There is not only the ark in my house.
[2:05:21] Speaker 2: There is also corn in my house. As powerful as
[2:05:26] Speaker 2: Elijah was. When he was hungry. He started moving around
[2:05:30] Speaker 2: like a fugitive. Looking for the widow who will feed him.
[2:05:33] Speaker 2: When he found the widow. He did not talk to
[2:05:35] Speaker 2: her about God. He said get me water quickly. I'm
[2:05:38] Speaker 2: about to die. He said add bread on top. That's
[2:05:44] Speaker 2: what hunger can do. He didn't say, toss here the Lord.
[2:05:48] Speaker 2: He didn't say, just say, please, water and bread first.
[2:05:51] Speaker 2: Before we talk of prophecy. That's what happens to a pastor.
[2:05:57] Speaker 2: When there is hunger, when you come, you don't say,
[2:05:59] Speaker 2: toss here the Lord. You don't say, be saved. You say,
[2:06:01] Speaker 2: give me water and give me bread. And the devil
[2:06:05] Speaker 2: can make it so slow. You spend 10 years talking
[2:06:08] Speaker 2: about bread and water, not salvation. Because he knows. Is
[2:06:14] Speaker 2: somebody learning? I don't know about you, but I made
[2:06:17] Speaker 2: up my mind as a man of God. That in
[2:06:20] Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, I will not beg for bread
[2:06:22] Speaker 2: while I'm serving God. I don't have tolerance for that
[2:06:25] Speaker 2: kind of distraction. If I'm spending time praying, hunger should
[2:06:29] Speaker 2: not bring me out of his presence. If I'm spending
[2:06:32] Speaker 2: time preparing notes to bless people, hunger should not take
[2:06:35] Speaker 2: me out of their presence. That I should be able
[2:06:37] Speaker 2: to look at somebody who says, take one billion plus compromise.
[2:06:41] Speaker 2: And I tell the person, no. And I don't go
[2:06:43] Speaker 2: back home feeling stupid. I can go back home saying,
[2:06:46] Speaker 2: I rejected it, but at least there's a consolation that
[2:06:49] Speaker 2: there's bread on my own table too. Are we together?
[2:06:52] Speaker 2: While we tell our young ladies and the young guys,
[2:06:55] Speaker 2: we say stop getting into fraud. Young ladies, stop prostituting.
[2:06:58] Speaker 2: That is true. But we must create superior alternatives of
[2:07:03] Speaker 2: economic emancipation. If not, we'll just be shouting on stage
[2:07:06] Speaker 2: while they keep doing what brings them bread. Hallelujah. You
[2:07:13] Speaker 2: ask the average prostitute, why are you doing this? And
[2:07:17] Speaker 2: you hear them say, come, let me tell you my
[2:07:18] Speaker 2: mother's case. All this thing I'm doing, I'm trying to
[2:07:21] Speaker 2: raise 20 million, 30 million for my mother's kid. I
[2:07:24] Speaker 2: was not always like that. We need God to raise
[2:07:28] Speaker 2: people and we need God to empower his church. Forget
[2:07:32] Speaker 2: that the subject of wealth has been taught wrongly, carnally, childishly,
[2:07:36] Speaker 2: and in a way that is incomplete. There is a
[2:07:38] Speaker 2: responsible approach to the subject of wealth. If you love Jesus,
[2:07:43] Speaker 2: you love your destiny, you love your family, and you
[2:07:47] Speaker 2: love your assignment, please reject poverty. As for me, I've
[2:07:55] Speaker 2: rejected my own Your pastor has rejected his own. Remaining you.
[2:07:59] Speaker 2: Reject it all in the name of Jesus Christ. Let
[2:08:03] Speaker 2: me tell you this. You don't reject poverty just by
[2:08:06] Speaker 2: saying go. It doesn't go that way. It's your mind
[2:08:08] Speaker 2: that rejects it. Even if you say go and your
[2:08:12] Speaker 2: mind says stay, it will obey your mind. There is
[2:08:17] Speaker 2: a spirituality of wealth. There is the economics of wealth.
[2:08:21] Speaker 2: There is a psychology of wealth. You must learn it.
[2:08:29] Speaker 2: Let me give you one more. Killers of influence and dominion.
[2:08:34] Speaker 2: Number one, growth and transformation. Your maturity. Number two, value
[2:08:40] Speaker 2: and productivity. Being sought after because of what you bring
[2:08:45] Speaker 2: to the table. Number three, wisdom and excellence. The quality
[2:08:49] Speaker 2: of mastery. Number four, wealth and abundance. Having the economic
[2:08:54] Speaker 2: wherewithal to defend your convictions without feeling sorry for it.
[2:08:59] Speaker 2: Number five, the fifth pillar of influence and dominion is
[2:09:04] Speaker 2: the supernatural. The supernatural. You can't ignore that. I'll give
[2:09:09] Speaker 2: you number five and we'll stop here. The supernatural. Signs
[2:09:13] Speaker 2: and wonders. This is very important. Acts chapter 5. Let's
[2:09:17] Speaker 2: look at verse 16. The context is 12 to 16.
[2:09:24] Speaker 2: Let's do 12. Let me just run it 12 to
[2:09:26] Speaker 2: 16 very quickly. And by the hands of the apostles
[2:09:30] Speaker 2: were many signs and wonders wrought among the people. And
[2:09:33] Speaker 2: they were all in one accord in Solomon's porch, 13.
[2:09:37] Speaker 2: And of the rest does no man join himself to them,
[2:09:40] Speaker 2: but the people magnified them, 14. Verse 14. And believers
[2:09:45] Speaker 2: were the more added to the Lord. Multitudes both of
[2:09:49] Speaker 2: men and women. 15. In so much that they brought
[2:09:53] Speaker 2: forth the sick to the streets. And laid them on
[2:09:57] Speaker 2: the beds and couches. That at least the shadow of
[2:10:00] Speaker 2: Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. Verse 16 now.
[2:10:04] Speaker 2: It says there came also a multitude. Say influence. Say dominion.
[2:10:10] Speaker 2: there came also on account of the supernatural out of
[2:10:15] Speaker 2: the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and
[2:10:20] Speaker 2: them which were vexed with unclean spirits, and they were healed,
[2:10:24] Speaker 2: every one of them. Let me tell you something, beloved
[2:10:27] Speaker 2: brothers and sisters. The supernatural is a major pillar for
