[4:07] Speaker 2: Strategic prayer, and then in the evening it was a
[4:10] Speaker 2: prophetic service that there shall be no lost.
[4:13] Speaker 3: I hope you still believe it. In the name of Jesus.
[4:16] Speaker 2: Christ remind someone who came to church yesternight that there will.
[4:20] Speaker 3: Still be no loss in the name of Jesus.
[4:25] Speaker 2: This morning, I want to share with you, still on
[4:28] Speaker 2: the topic commanded restoration. We're looking at the principles of restoration.
[4:33] Speaker 2: I want to show you how restoration happens according to scripture.
[4:38] Speaker 3: Praise the name of the Lord. So yesterday I told
[4:41] Speaker 3: you that.
[4:42] Speaker 2: There are four levels of restoration. Number one, there is
[4:48] Speaker 2: the restoration of time or years. Number two, there's the
[4:54] Speaker 2: restoration of things. Number three, there's the restoration of opportunities.
[5:01] Speaker 2: Number four there's a restoration of people or men. Every
[5:07] Speaker 2: time you see restoration in the Bible, it attends to
[5:10] Speaker 2: these four categories.
[5:12] Speaker 3: I recap again.
[5:12] Speaker 2: Number one restoration of time or years, says, I will
[5:17] Speaker 2: restore to you the years. Number two restoration of things
[5:22] Speaker 2: our last master, for it was borrowed, and he said
[5:25] Speaker 2: where felt it?
[5:26] Speaker 3: And the acts had returned again.
[5:28] Speaker 2: Number three restoration of opportunities. By this time tomorrow that
[5:34] Speaker 2: the land of Samaria would experience an opportunity that they
[5:38] Speaker 2: never had hitherto. And then restoration of people and God
[5:45] Speaker 2: restored to Joe. He restored Joe back to that status
[5:49] Speaker 2: are we together now. I'm saying this because if you've
[5:52] Speaker 2: been affected in any of this or all these areas,
[5:56] Speaker 2: then this morning is your service in the name of
[5:59] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. Three scriptures very quickly. First sam Well thirty
[6:03] Speaker 2: and verse eight. Receive it not just as a reading
[6:06] Speaker 2: of the world, but as a prophetic word for you
[6:09] Speaker 2: this morning.
[6:10] Speaker 3: First sam Well thirty and eight.
[6:12] Speaker 2: And David inquired that the Lord, saying, shall I pursue
[6:16] Speaker 2: after this troop?
[6:18] Speaker 3: Shall I overtake them?
[6:20] Speaker 2: And he answered them, like he's answering someone in church today, pursue,
[6:24] Speaker 2: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
[6:32] Speaker 2: A believer shout amen, it says, and without fail recover all.
[6:38] Speaker 2: Second scripture, Second Kings, chapter eight. Please from verse one,
[6:42] Speaker 2: this is a very profound scripture. And then Elaisha said,
[6:46] Speaker 2: onto the woman whose son has been restored back to life,
[6:50] Speaker 2: remember the story. Yes, the woman in Shunem arise and
[6:55] Speaker 2: go thou and thine household, and Sir John wresoever thou can,
[7:00] Speaker 2: Sir John, for the Lord had called for a famine,
[7:03] Speaker 2: and it shall come upon the land seven years. Follow
[7:06] Speaker 2: the story carefully. Most believers do not even know this story.
[7:10] Speaker 2: And the woman arose and did after the saying of
[7:12] Speaker 2: the Man of God, and she went with her household
[7:15] Speaker 2: and Sir John in the land of the Philistines.
[7:18] Speaker 3: Seven years were reading to six.
[7:20] Speaker 2: And it came to pass at the seven years end
[7:23] Speaker 2: that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines.
[7:27] Speaker 2: And she went forth to cry onto the king for
[7:31] Speaker 2: her house and for her land. There's four And the
[7:36] Speaker 2: king talked with Gehazi, the servant of the Man of God,
[7:39] Speaker 2: said tell me, I pray thee all the great things
[7:42] Speaker 2: that Elishah had done.
[7:44] Speaker 3: Listen now.
[7:46] Speaker 2: And it came to pass as he was telling the
[7:48] Speaker 2: king how he had restored a dead body to life.
[7:52] Speaker 2: That behold, the woman whose son had restored to life,
[7:56] Speaker 2: cried onto the king for her house and for her land.
[8:00] Speaker 2: And he has he said, my Lord, O King, this
[8:03] Speaker 2: is the woman and this is her son, whom Elisha
[8:08] Speaker 2: restored to life. Now watch her own restoration. Really, that's
[8:12] Speaker 2: a prophetic world one to go. So the king are
[8:19] Speaker 2: pointed onto her a certain officer, say, restore all that
[8:24] Speaker 2: was hers and all the fruit of the field since
[8:28] Speaker 2: the day she left the land, even until.
[8:31] Speaker 3: Now, restore restore.
[8:35] Speaker 2: This is a word for someone from the day she
[8:38] Speaker 2: left the land, for all that seven years, the king said,
[8:41] Speaker 2: restore everything. May that be your testimony in the name
[8:46] Speaker 2: of Jesus. Are you ready for one more scripture? Amos
[8:50] Speaker 2: chapter nine and verse fourteen. Amos chapter nine and verse
[8:55] Speaker 2: fourteen relate again with me. And then I begin to
[8:58] Speaker 2: teach one to go, And I will bring again the
[9:01] Speaker 2: captivity of my people of Israel. And they shall build
[9:05] Speaker 2: the waste cities and inhabit them. And they shall plant
[9:10] Speaker 2: vineyards and drink the wine thereof, and they shall also
[9:15] Speaker 2: make gardens and eat the fruit of them. May the
[9:18] Speaker 2: Lord bless the readings of his word. In Jesus' name,
[9:21] Speaker 2: there are keys like you may have learned in the
[9:24] Speaker 2: course of this conference that every spiritual outcome captured as
[9:30] Speaker 2: our benefits in this kingdom, has a body of spiritual
[9:34] Speaker 2: truth that.
[9:35] Speaker 3: Controls the results. You still remember that.
[9:37] Speaker 2: Every outcome in the Kingdom is knowledge dependent. There is
[9:41] Speaker 2: what you must know, there is what you must understand,
[9:45] Speaker 2: and there is what you must engage. There is what
[9:48] Speaker 2: you must know, There is what you must understand, and
[9:52] Speaker 2: there is what you must engage. Knowledge is a constructive
[9:56] Speaker 2: coalition of truth. Useful information on the is a comprehension.
[10:02] Speaker 3: Of those truths.
[10:03] Speaker 2: Wisdom is a strategic application of those truths so that
[10:07] Speaker 2: it delivers to profit. You do understand now, so you
[10:10] Speaker 2: can have knowledge, but luck understanding and lack wisdom. Wisdom
[10:16] Speaker 2: is knowledge dependent. You cannot have wisdom until you first
[10:20] Speaker 2: have knowledge. So knowledge is a constructive coalation of truth.
[10:25] Speaker 2: Understanding is a comprehension of the working dynamics. Then wisdom
[10:30] Speaker 2: is a strategic application of those truths so that they
[10:34] Speaker 2: deliver onto you. Ali Lujah. So I want to share
[10:38] Speaker 2: with you biblical principles. Now this is a morning service,
[10:42] Speaker 2: so I have to work with the time. Else I
[10:45] Speaker 2: would have taught you a principle that generally, when you
[10:49] Speaker 2: want to study any body of knowledge, you have to
[10:52] Speaker 2: go to the Bible and let the Bible.
[10:54] Speaker 3: Reveal its own strategy.
[10:57] Speaker 2: You don't try to invent a strategy to get God's.
[11:00] Speaker 2: The Bible says, the things that are written at full time,
[11:03] Speaker 2: whether as stories, as parables, as events within those stories,
[11:08] Speaker 2: are mysteries. This is the assignment of revelation to draw
[11:13] Speaker 2: truth out of stories, to draw truth out of mysteries.
[11:16] Speaker 2: Are we together that they are written at four times
[11:19] Speaker 2: so that we, through patients and the comfort of scripture,
[11:23] Speaker 2: might find hope. There are a number of stories in
[11:26] Speaker 2: the Bible that help us understand the principles connected to restoration.
[11:31] Speaker 2: An example is what we read with the women, the
[11:34] Speaker 2: woman in Shunem. Another example is that of the Prodigal Song.
[11:39] Speaker 2: Remember the story. The story of the Prodigal Song is
[11:42] Speaker 2: a classic demonstration of restoration. Then you also find in
[11:46] Speaker 2: looks synoptic account the woman who lost her coins. She
[11:51] Speaker 2: had ten coins, she lost one, and she found that one.
[11:55] Speaker 2: So when you study all these scriptures through the lens
[11:58] Speaker 2: of revelation, you for relevant lessons. And this is what
[12:03] Speaker 2: we're going to be examining very very quickly. Number one,
[12:07] Speaker 2: the first key that controls restoration is called the power
[12:11] Speaker 2: of self examination.
[12:13] Speaker 3: Write that down, please.
[12:15] Speaker 2: The power of self examination, LUK Chapter fifteen. We read
[12:21] Speaker 2: we just spoke about that. Let's go to seventeen and
[12:24] Speaker 2: read to twenty. How the prodigal son was restored, the
[12:28] Speaker 2: Bible says, and when he came to himself, And when
[12:33] Speaker 2: he came to himself, the Bible never said, And when
[12:36] Speaker 2: the Holy Girl spoke to him, the Bible never said
[12:39] Speaker 2: when an advisor came to him, men can come to themselves.
[12:43] Speaker 2: It's called the power of self examination. You will never
[12:47] Speaker 2: experience restoration until you take the time to pun that carefully.
[12:52] Speaker 2: Where did I miss this out? Self examination is very powerful.
[12:57] Speaker 2: Prohaps eighteen and verse one, the Bible says true desire
[13:00] Speaker 2: a man, any man, haven't separated himself. He says that
[13:04] Speaker 2: he is seeket and intermedleate with all wisdom true desire.
[13:09] Speaker 2: There are many people who cannot receive restoration because they
[13:12] Speaker 2: have not found the time to sit down and honestly assess, critique,
[13:17] Speaker 2: and appraise their life, even their correct conditions.
[13:22] Speaker 3: I will together.
[13:23] Speaker 2: So let's go back to Luke fifteen, okay, seventeen. Now
[13:27] Speaker 2: when he came to himself.
[13:29] Speaker 3: Watch this. He was talking with himself.
[13:31] Speaker 2: He said, how many hired servants as my father, of
[13:35] Speaker 2: my father's house have bread enough to eat and to spare,
[13:39] Speaker 2: and I perish with hunger. Verse eighteen. He says, I
[13:42] Speaker 2: will arise. He's speaking to himself. This is the power
[13:46] Speaker 2: of self examination. I will arise, and I will go
[13:49] Speaker 2: to my father and say, unto him, Father, I have
[13:51] Speaker 2: seen against heaven and before thee Verse nine verse nineteen.
[13:55] Speaker 2: And I am no more worthy to be called your son,
[13:58] Speaker 2: But take me as one of your hired servants.
[14:01] Speaker 3: And he arose he did what he said he would do.
[14:05] Speaker 2: And the Bible says, but while he was a great
[14:08] Speaker 2: way of the father saw him and had compassion, ran
[14:13] Speaker 2: fell on.
[14:13] Speaker 3: His neck and kissed him self examination.
[14:16] Speaker 2: The Bible also tells us that he that breaks the hedge,
[14:20] Speaker 2: have you read a scripture that the serpent will strike?
[14:23] Speaker 2: And like we discussed yesterday, the various factors that are
[14:26] Speaker 2: responsible for losses.
[14:27] Speaker 3: One of it is lack of discernment.
[14:30] Speaker 2: One of it is carelessness negligence. So when you take
[14:34] Speaker 2: the time to examine, how come this tragedy came upon me?
[14:40] Speaker 2: Could it be that I lost discernment? Could it be
[14:43] Speaker 2: that this and that happened? Was I careless? Did I
[14:46] Speaker 2: trust people too early? Take the time to examine yourself?
[14:50] Speaker 2: Are we together? In fact? The Bible says it in
[14:53] Speaker 2: I think second corinthentstarteen five, that we should examine ourselves
[14:57] Speaker 2: whether we are still in the faith?
[15:00] Speaker 3: Self examination? Are you learning already? Number two?
[15:04] Speaker 2: The second key that controls restoration is called brokenness. Brokenness,
[15:13] Speaker 2: brokenness Psalm fifty one verse seventeen. This is called a
[15:21] Speaker 2: sam that communicates messy. When you want to study a
[15:25] Speaker 2: broken man, read the entire Psalm fifty one.
[15:30] Speaker 3: This was David.
[15:31] Speaker 2: Crying before the Lord, opening up his heart away together.
[15:35] Speaker 2: Now you know the story when the prophet came and
[15:38] Speaker 2: convicted him using a parable and said, this is your life,
[15:42] Speaker 2: this is what you have done. He documented his repentance
[15:46] Speaker 2: in Palm fifty one, and he said the sacrifices of
[15:51] Speaker 2: God are a broken spirit that it says, a broken
[15:56] Speaker 2: and a contract heart. Oh God, now will not despise
[16:02] Speaker 2: when you are in trouble and you are still proud,
[16:04] Speaker 2: you remain there. There are many people who are in trouble,
[16:10] Speaker 2: and even in the midst of all your situations, they've
[16:13] Speaker 2: made mistakes, they've correckd their lives, They've wasted opportunities. They
[16:17] Speaker 2: still stand tall and in pride, and yet they want deliverance.
[16:22] Speaker 2: One thing I can tell you about God is that
[16:25] Speaker 2: He's messy, is lavish, but it is never wasted. The
[16:29] Speaker 2: messy of God only comes towards a life that is broken,
[16:34] Speaker 2: and contride brokenness demands taking responsibility. That you must see
[16:40] Speaker 2: how you contributed to that trouble. Once you keep pointing
[16:43] Speaker 2: your hands, blaming boss, blaming husband, blaming wife. For instance,
[16:49] Speaker 2: I teach my people that your belief system is your
[16:52] Speaker 2: contribution to your failure or your success. So when you
[16:56] Speaker 2: are pointing at people are saying this and that Nigeria
[16:59] Speaker 2: is my problem, maybe you may be sincere my father
[17:03] Speaker 2: is my problem.
[17:04] Speaker 3: The moment you are not broken, I tell you will
[17:07] Speaker 3: neever access the mercy of God. Davy.
[17:11] Speaker 2: I wish we had the time to read from verse
[17:13] Speaker 2: one down to seventeen. You would see how I mean.
[17:16] Speaker 3: He was not embarrassed, He didn't give excuses.
[17:19] Speaker 2: He poured his hat. He said, in iniquity, did my
[17:22] Speaker 2: mother conceive me? He began to cry onto the Lord.
[17:26] Speaker 2: The Lord is nigh them that call upon him. He
[17:29] Speaker 2: is nigh them who are of a broken spirit. Jesus
[17:33] Speaker 2: was giving a parable, and he spoke about two people
[17:35] Speaker 2: who went to the temple to pray, and the other
[17:38] Speaker 2: one lifted up his voice, and in pride you were saying,
[17:41] Speaker 2: I give alms, I do this and that, and the
[17:43] Speaker 2: other person.
[17:44] Speaker 3: Was broken before God.
[17:45] Speaker 2: And Jesus said, which of these two do you think
[17:48] Speaker 2: the prayer would be answered? Many people are not yet
[17:52] Speaker 2: ready for a change, because they are still giving excuses,
[17:55] Speaker 2: explanations and working in pride.
[18:00] Speaker 3: Allelujah.
[18:01] Speaker 2: If there is something I have learned about God through
[18:03] Speaker 2: the years is that God will never turn away from
[18:07] Speaker 2: a broken person. There were two thieves on the cross.
[18:10] Speaker 2: All of them had an opportunity, I say, last chance
[18:13] Speaker 2: to remedy their lives.
[18:15] Speaker 3: One of the thieves was there.
[18:17] Speaker 2: Bragging and speaking foolishly about Jesus, and the other one
[18:21] Speaker 2: rebuilt in and paraphrasing, he said, we're.
[18:25] Speaker 3: Here for something we did that was wrong.
[18:27] Speaker 2: This man was innocent, and even though Jesus was on
[18:30] Speaker 2: the cross in pain, he turned to the one who
[18:33] Speaker 2: was broken and said, today, not next week, you will
[18:36] Speaker 2: be with me in paradise, a broken and a contrite
[18:42] Speaker 2: hat for someone. This is a prophetic word for you.
[18:45] Speaker 2: All that God is waiting for is brokenness. That you
[18:49] Speaker 2: will return back and get on your knees and say Lord.
[18:52] Speaker 3: I confess that prayerlessness was.
[18:55] Speaker 2: Part of the reason why demons had access to even
[18:58] Speaker 2: attack me.
[18:59] Speaker 3: I confess that I was careless. I confess that I got.
[19:02] Speaker 2: Into relationships that misled me and made church look like
[19:06] Speaker 2: a newsance. And I broke the hedge and the devil's struck.
[19:10] Speaker 2: The moment you are open before God, even if you
[19:14] Speaker 2: don't know the way out.
[19:15] Speaker 3: When God finds you at.
[19:17] Speaker 2: The point of brokenness, it says below the shadow beam
[19:21] Speaker 2: are both the messy seat. There will I meet with you,
[19:24] Speaker 2: and I will speak with you face to face. There
[19:27] Speaker 2: is a place God meets men, at the messy seat,
[19:30] Speaker 2: the place where you are broken.
[19:34] Speaker 3: Who is learning this money? Yes, for as long as.
[19:39] Speaker 2: You continue to give flames the excuses, you know, look
[19:42] Speaker 2: at my uncle, Lord God, you are now praying. This
[19:46] Speaker 2: man has money, he helps somebody in my presence. Can
[19:49] Speaker 2: you imagine, Oh God, you are still praying? What sort
[19:52] Speaker 2: of a wicked man this is? You are not the uncle,
[19:54] Speaker 2: is not the one so frame. You are the one
[19:56] Speaker 2: who has not paid your rent. You are the one
[19:58] Speaker 2: who is in trouble. And for as long you are
[20:00] Speaker 2: pointing and getting angry, and you know no, I come
[20:04] Speaker 2: before you, Oh God, I confess that I may not
[20:07] Speaker 2: know enough to have brought me this miracle.
[20:10] Speaker 3: I take responsibility as a father.
[20:14] Speaker 2: I have not been able to pay the school fees
[20:15] Speaker 2: of my children. I have to stop blaming the job
[20:19] Speaker 2: I lost ten years ago. Now, ah, ten years is
[20:23] Speaker 2: too long a time to not have experienced breakthrough. I
[20:26] Speaker 2: take responsibility. The Bible says, when I came to the
[20:29] Speaker 2: House of God, then understood I many conferences have happened
[20:33] Speaker 2: with graces that have been released within those ten years
[20:36] Speaker 2: to have corrected that problem. A broken and a contrite heart.
[20:41] Speaker 2: I hope we're still friends. You have to believe this.
[20:45] Speaker 3: This is a major key to experiencing restoration.
[20:49] Speaker 2: Most people pray, but they pray from a standpoint of pride.
[20:53] Speaker 3: Lord, I'm still waiting. There's nothing I can do. You
[20:56] Speaker 3: are savior. You created me.
[20:57] Speaker 2: Else if I could see you, you know, there are
[21:00] Speaker 2: many people. If they could see the Lord now, they
[21:03] Speaker 2: would punish him and beat him and say why did
[21:05] Speaker 2: you waste my time?
[21:06] Speaker 3: And yet they are crying for messy. Someone shout messy.
[21:09] Speaker 2: Say it again, say messy, A broken and a contract heart.
[21:14] Speaker 2: I have seen God turned the tides over people, not
[21:17] Speaker 2: necessarily because they had sufficient spiritual intelligence. They were so
[21:22] Speaker 2: broken it became unfair for God to leave them in
[21:25] Speaker 2: that condition. The prodigal son said to himself, how many
[21:29] Speaker 2: hired savants took responsibility and said, I will arise. I'm
[21:33] Speaker 2: not going to ask the Father to be a son.
[21:36] Speaker 2: I know that I've lost my chance as a son.
[21:38] Speaker 2: Take me as one of the savants, no problem. Do
[21:43] Speaker 2: you know that in that state when he met the father,
[21:46] Speaker 2: the father never spoke to him.
[21:48] Speaker 3: Where have you been? Where did you go? The brokenness
[21:51] Speaker 3: was already enough, away together.
[21:59] Speaker 2: And Jesus so number one self examination number two brokenness?
[22:06] Speaker 3: Who is following so far?
[22:07] Speaker 2: Let's see something that happened from verse twenty one, look

[22:16] Speaker 2: I like to teach a lot on subjects of surrender, messy, brokenness.
[22:21] Speaker 2: I guess maybe it's because of the way God trained
[22:24] Speaker 2: me and the way God helped me in life.
[22:27] Speaker 3: I'm not somebody who had the.
[22:29] Speaker 2: Best of opportunities. I am a direct product of God's messy.
[22:33] Speaker 2: I know what it means to be shown messy in life,
