[8:23] Speaker 1: the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to contend
[8:27] Speaker 1: for light. Where in a season where believers cannot afford
[8:32] Speaker 1: to live in ignorance, it said, the people that sat

[8:49] Speaker 1: help my own belief. Mark chapter nine. Please marc. Chapter nine,

[11:24] Speaker 1: of God, three rules that governed portent faith, or at
[11:30] Speaker 1: least four of them. They're actually about seven rules that
[11:34] Speaker 1: govern the manifestation of faith that works, faith that moves mountains,
[11:40] Speaker 1: faith that can subdue nations and turn the tides of
[11:43] Speaker 1: darkness away.
[11:44] Speaker 3: But for the sake of this session, were just consider
[11:47] Speaker 3: three or four. Let's say four. Allelujah. Number one.
[11:51] Speaker 1: The first rule that governs Bible faith portent faith is
[11:57] Speaker 1: that faith that produces Faith that.
[12:00] Speaker 3: Works must be a product of encounters.
[12:05] Speaker 1: Faith that works must be a product of encounters. Encounters
[12:13] Speaker 1: are beyond mental assent encounters, and encounter is an experience
[12:21] Speaker 1: that makes a person a thought or a thing real
[12:25] Speaker 1: to you. In the simplest of definitions, and encounter is
[12:29] Speaker 1: an experience, usually supernatural, that makes a person a thought
[12:36] Speaker 1: or a thing real to you. And according to scripture,
[12:42] Speaker 1: there are three platforms for experiencing encounters number one, prayer,
[12:49] Speaker 1: number two worship number three the Study of Scripture.
[12:53] Speaker 3: Please write that down, don't forget.
[12:55] Speaker 1: There are three platforms that afford the believer an opportunity
[13:00] Speaker 1: to have encounters encounter with God number one prayer in
[13:05] Speaker 1: the place of prayer, believers have encounters number two heart
[13:13] Speaker 1: felt worship, not chereless worship, not onnattentive worship, hat felt worship.
[13:22] Speaker 3: Number three.
[13:25] Speaker 1: The Study of Scripture, Job chapter forty two and verse five.
[13:30] Speaker 1: Job said, I have heard of deal with the hearing
[13:32] Speaker 1: of the ear, but now my eyes see it. D
[13:36] Speaker 1: This is the most graphic description of encounters. You may
[13:41] Speaker 1: forget the things that you hear, but you cannot forget
[13:44] Speaker 1: the things that.
[13:45] Speaker 3: You see A way together. Now it's possible to give
[13:48] Speaker 3: me a call, and then.
[13:50] Speaker 1: I may not even identify who it is that is calling,

[14:38] Speaker 1: For as long as the highest definition of power that
[14:42] Speaker 1: is in your mind is Pharaoh and Egypt, you cannot
[14:45] Speaker 1: be a deliverer.
[14:46] Speaker 3: You will need to subject.
[14:47] Speaker 1: Yourself to another experience at the burning bush that shows
[14:51] Speaker 1: you a more superior dimension of power. It will now
[14:55] Speaker 1: sponsor the courage to go and stand before Pharaoh. There
[14:59] Speaker 1: are many people stars and before mountains standing before Pharaoh.
[15:03] Speaker 1: Just because the Bible says to speak to a mountain
[15:05] Speaker 1: does not mean you stand under any condition. Moses would
[15:09] Speaker 1: have failed woefully if he went, even though he had
[15:13] Speaker 1: the prophetic destiny of a deliverer. There was an experience,
[15:17] Speaker 1: the Bible says, when he was at the backside of
[15:19] Speaker 1: the mountain tending his father in lost ship jet throw,
[15:23] Speaker 1: he saw a bush that burned, but the bush was
[15:27] Speaker 1: not consumed and the Bible says God kept leering him,
[15:31] Speaker 1: and when Moses said, I will turn aside and see
[15:34] Speaker 1: this great sight, and the Bible says when God saw
[15:38] Speaker 1: that he turned aside. He finally got his attention. He said, Moses, come,
[15:42] Speaker 1: take off your shoes. From where thou standards is holy ground.
[15:45] Speaker 1: And he began a series of discussions with God. At
[15:49] Speaker 1: the end of that experience, Moses was bold enough to
[15:52] Speaker 1: go to Egypt. I hope you know that he ran
[15:55] Speaker 1: away from Egypt because he killed someone. You can imagine,
[16:00] Speaker 1: but haven't met the God of the Bible. He went
[16:02] Speaker 1: back and told Pharaoh, he's a pharaoh. You still remember
[16:07] Speaker 1: my face. This was not the coward who ran away.
[16:10] Speaker 1: I've met the God of the Bible. Toss said, the
[16:13] Speaker 1: God of the Hebrews, let my people go. You will
[16:19] Speaker 1: never have the courage.
[16:21] Speaker 3: You see.
[16:22] Speaker 1: Life has an interesting way of bullying you, making you
[16:26] Speaker 1: believe that you cannot thrive, either because of the kind
[16:29] Speaker 1: of family you came from away together or the kind
[16:32] Speaker 1: of limitation that has surrounded your life.
[16:35] Speaker 3: But when you meet the God of the Bible, fear dies.
[16:38] Speaker 1: I tell you, genuine faith is a product of encounters.
[16:45] Speaker 3: Encounters in the place of prayer is spirit to spirit.
[16:49] Speaker 1: Communication encounters in the place of worship encounters. As you
[16:54] Speaker 1: study the Bible, your understanding is broadened, your conviction is strengthened.
[16:59] Speaker 1: Someone encounters Second Corinthians thirteen and fourteen says the grace
[17:04] Speaker 1: of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[17:05] Speaker 3: It says the love of God and the communion fellowships.
[17:10] Speaker 1: The word coinonia the participation, the sharing together.
[17:15] Speaker 3: Let it be with you, Let it be with you.
[17:18] Speaker 1: You know what that means that what is in one
[17:21] Speaker 1: person becomes in another is like a mixing together. So
[17:24] Speaker 1: if I take a bottle of Coca cola and a
[17:26] Speaker 1: bottle of water, and I mix both of them together,
[17:29] Speaker 1: ordinarily they become inseparable.
[17:31] Speaker 3: Are we together?
[17:32] Speaker 1: That's what coinonia is, that in that place of intercourse
[17:36] Speaker 1: you are able to drink of something You did not
[17:39] Speaker 1: get to that place with courage, power, grace.

[17:47] Speaker 1: conviction comes from the one you have met. He said God,
[17:55] Speaker 1: to the street whose roads divide, you will see a code.

[18:02] Speaker 1: And if anybody dares challenge you, tell them the owner
[18:06] Speaker 1: you met him you met the Master and that he
[18:10] Speaker 1: has need of it.

[18:12] Speaker 1: There is a gentlemen, you have to see a God
[18:15] Speaker 1: that is bigger than your challenges to have the courage
[18:18] Speaker 1: to confront your challenges.

[18:21] Speaker 1: You have to see and encounter a God that is bigger,
[18:26] Speaker 1: bigger than your challenges.

[18:32] Speaker 1: Genuine faith is a derivative of encounters. Now there are
[18:40] Speaker 1: four fruits of encounters.
[18:42] Speaker 3: You can know. I'm not teaching on encounters tonight, but
[18:44] Speaker 3: you can test for.
[18:46] Speaker 1: The validity of an encounter by the presence of these
[18:49] Speaker 1: four fruits. If it is a genuine, God ordained encounter,
[18:54] Speaker 1: if it is the God of the Bible you meet,
[18:57] Speaker 1: you have to leave that place with these four fruits.
[18:59] Speaker 1: Number one, Conviction. The first thing that happens to you
[19:03] Speaker 1: in the place of encounters conviction conviction, First a revelation
[19:09] Speaker 1: of the true state of your heart. And then the
[19:12] Speaker 1: conviction the revelation of God's love, the revelation of God's
[19:17] Speaker 1: power or might.
[19:20] Speaker 3: Are we together now?
[19:22] Speaker 1: Conviction from the place of encounter, from the place of encounter.
[19:29] Speaker 1: From the place of encounter. Conviction that when you say,
[19:32] Speaker 1: God said, you know what you are saying. You can
[19:36] Speaker 1: know about me by reading my books or hearing from
[19:41] Speaker 1: someone who had met me. But it's a different thing
[19:44] Speaker 1: altogether the day you meet me.

[19:47] Speaker 1: If someone sends you a text now and says, apostle
[19:51] Speaker 1: wants to see you at a bank somewhere, the name

[21:18] Speaker 1: whom I have believed. I didn't just believe him. I
[21:21] Speaker 1: know whom I have believed. I am persuaded. Let me
[21:24] Speaker 1: tell you something.

[21:27] Speaker 1: It's a principle that has worked in my own life
[21:30] Speaker 1: many times. When God gives me instructions in ministry and
[21:34] Speaker 1: in my life, and those instructions look very big, something.

[21:40] Speaker 1: The Spirit of God begins to walk upon my mind
[21:43] Speaker 1: in the place of prayer and worship, and he begins

[23:18] Speaker 3: Of the whole world. He said I should place it
[23:21] Speaker 3: and keep praying every day.
[23:23] Speaker 1: And I kept praying, praying, soaking in the glory, soaking
[23:27] Speaker 1: in the presence. I'm saying this to encourage someone. One day,
[23:31] Speaker 1: something happened to me. Let me tell you what encounters
[23:35] Speaker 1: do or create in the believer. I was looking at
[23:39] Speaker 1: the map of Abuja, and it suddenly became small, very small,
[23:47] Speaker 1: like a little child holding a ball.
[23:50] Speaker 3: The map just shrunk in my mind and it was
[23:53] Speaker 3: like a territory that I could take.
[23:55] Speaker 1: The same thing started happening with the map of Nigeria.

[24:09] Speaker 1: the nations encounters. It's not about blind assumption.
