[0:00] Speaker 1: All right, everyone, we have exciting news to share. We
[0:04] Speaker 1: here at Nothing Major, we wanted to announce that we
[0:07] Speaker 1: will be joining the Volume Media Network. You know, Colin Cowherd,
[0:10] Speaker 1: the sports guy, this is like his network called the Volume.
[0:13] Speaker 1: It's super cool. We are now a part of the
[0:15] Speaker 1: Volume Media Network.
[0:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, and the Volume has built a home for athletes
[0:19] Speaker 2: with authentic voices all across the sports world. So we
[0:21] Speaker 2: are fired up as, you know, three retired tennis guys
[0:24] Speaker 2: to join the Volume.
[0:25] Speaker 3: Yep, nothing is going to change show-wise, but they're just
[0:28] Speaker 3: going to be helping us cross the board on our
[0:31] Speaker 3: sales and the growth of the show.
[0:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, they're going to help us expand. Hopefully, if they don't,
[0:35] Speaker 1: we will fire them, but their goal is to help
[0:37] Speaker 1: us expand. But let's get to it and enjoy the
[0:40] Speaker 1: show today.
[0:40] Speaker 3: Welcome back to Nothing Major. We have a great show
[0:44] Speaker 3: ahead of us. We have a special segment that we're
[0:46] Speaker 3: trying to do last week. It involves me. I don't
[0:50] Speaker 3: know what's good. It's super fun. I don't know what
[0:52] Speaker 3: it's going to look like. We have ATP Fantasy Update. Also,
[0:54] Speaker 3: fan questions and life advice is back. Let's get the
[0:57] Speaker 3: show started. Welcome back to nothing major. John isn't here.
[1:06] Speaker 3: Steve Johnson, Sam query. Happy Thursday, everyone. Um, Charlie Fox
[1:12] Speaker 3: and his team is SIF creative. Thank you to you guys.
[1:15] Speaker 3: Monday's episode was a lot of fun with Prakash. I
[1:18] Speaker 3: think this week, this week is good. I'm excited about
[1:20] Speaker 3: this episode too. Um, This is good stuff in our
[1:25] Speaker 3: opinions this week. As everyone knows, last week there was
[1:32] Speaker 3: a big wedding. Big wedding in the tennis world. The
[1:36] Speaker 3: biggest wedding that.
[1:37] Speaker 1: Wedding of the summer.
[1:38] Speaker 3: Wedding of the summer. Wedding of New York. Move aside
[1:41] Speaker 3: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey. You guys were just taken
[1:47] Speaker 3: to school by Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenz who got
[1:50] Speaker 3: married and A very beautiful location just outside of New
[1:54] Speaker 3: York City. All three of us were there. Let's talk
[1:58] Speaker 3: about the wedding a little bit. Stevie, what did you think?
[2:01] Speaker 3: Did you have a lot of fun? And what was
[2:03] Speaker 3: awesome about it?
[2:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, it was great. Look, it's great. I mean, we
[2:06] Speaker 2: all know these young guys. I mean, just watching like,
[2:09] Speaker 2: you know, Tommy Paul, I guess, grow up from like
[2:11] Speaker 2: a 17, 18-year-old kid like starting on tour to, you know,
[2:15] Speaker 2: this beautiful getting married ceremony. It was beautiful. The whole
[2:19] Speaker 2: thing was phenomenal. We made a poor choice. We sat
[2:23] Speaker 2: on the bride side at the wedding. We should have
[2:26] Speaker 2: sat on the groom side. It was more in the shade.
[2:28] Speaker 2: I felt like that was an issue for us. I
[2:30] Speaker 2: was sitting in the sun the entire time. It was
[2:32] Speaker 2: 1,000 degrees. And other than that, I thought it was beautiful.
[2:36] Speaker 2: I thought it was awesome. I saw all the young
[2:37] Speaker 2: boys getting after it. It was fun to hang out
[2:39] Speaker 2: with you guys in a non-tennis setting to some degree.
[2:42] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:43] Speaker 2: Thought they did a great job.
[2:45] Speaker 1: Know what I loved about it? The food, the dinner.
[2:47] Speaker 1: Like the wedding was obviously over the top nice, but
[2:49] Speaker 1: the food was like a Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni, and
[2:54] Speaker 1: then the filet mignon. Like when I say that, it
[2:56] Speaker 1: sounds basic, but like all those things were like elevated
[2:59] Speaker 1: and like unbelievable. It was like high-end comfort food that
[3:03] Speaker 1: was like so good.
[3:05] Speaker 2: Nobody got any Caesar salad if you were sitting there, Sam.
[3:07] Speaker 2: He took the whole bowl.
[3:08] Speaker 1: I didn't take the whole bowl. I just took a
[3:10] Speaker 1: normal amount of Caesar salad.
[3:11] Speaker 2: It was uncomfortable.
[3:12] Speaker 3: If I can critique one thing, a little heavy on
[3:15] Speaker 3: the dressing.
[3:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe it was a little bit.
[3:17] Speaker 3: Tommy paid a little heavy on the dressing on the Caesar.
[3:21] Speaker 3: But other than that, everything first class, like everything, like
[3:24] Speaker 3: the wine, the drinks, the type of spirits they had there.
[3:29] Speaker 3: They had the honey deuce, the cocktail. They had the
[3:31] Speaker 3: honey deuce was a signature drink. Like the water they
[3:34] Speaker 3: served was the glass bottle Aquapana. Yeah. It was just classy.
[3:38] Speaker 1: Very classy.
[3:39] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[3:40] Speaker 1: Know what else was great too? The music. It wasn't
[3:43] Speaker 1: like new age hip hop and like stuff. It was
[3:46] Speaker 1: like a lot of eighties rock on the music. It
[3:51] Speaker 1: felt like very, very classic American.
[3:53] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[3:55] Speaker 1: Best.
[3:56] Speaker 3: What do you get? Give like a best moment.
[3:57] Speaker 1: Can I, can I start?
[3:58] Speaker 3: It's gotta be Francis Tiafoe. Just like, like he was
[4:02] Speaker 3: playing a five setter on Arthur Ashe, just sweating through his, his,
[4:07] Speaker 3: his white tuck shirt. And then just taking it off.
[4:10] Speaker 3: These pictures have– we're not revealing anything new. These pictures
[4:13] Speaker 3: are all over social media. Took it off and just
[4:15] Speaker 3: went tux jacket the rest of the night. I thought
[4:18] Speaker 3: that was pretty good.
[4:19] Speaker 1: Like 15 minutes into the reception.
[4:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
[4:21] Speaker 2: But if there's a guy that should take his shirt off,
[4:23] Speaker 2: it's Francis. He's got the right physique for it.
[4:26] Speaker 1: Great people watching too. A lot of just good-looking influencers
[4:31] Speaker 1: and well-dressed people.
[4:33] Speaker 3: Do you put yourself on that list? No.
[4:36] Speaker 1: I wasn't even on the top ten list. most influential
[4:39] Speaker 1: influencers at this wedding?
[4:40] Speaker 2: A junior influencer.
[4:42] Speaker 3: There were a lot of influencers. I didn't know who
[4:44] Speaker 3: any of them were, but their influencers were there.
[4:47] Speaker 1: They were there.
[4:48] Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a blast. I appreciated personally having another
[4:53] Speaker 3: bot with Riley. So I said to Riley, I was like,
[4:58] Speaker 3: we were on the dance floor, believe it or not.
[5:01] Speaker 3: I'm like, two bots is too much for the dance floor.
[5:03] Speaker 3: He goes, no, no, actually no. He goes, when you
[5:04] Speaker 3: have two bots, it takes all the attention off of
[5:07] Speaker 3: you Because there's two bosses. That's a good point, actually.
[5:10] Speaker 1: That's forward thinking. That is true. Two bosses. You cancel
[5:13] Speaker 1: each other out, kind of. You cancel each other out.
[5:16] Speaker 3: Exactly right.
[5:16] Speaker 1: And no one noticed you and Riley dancing together on
[5:18] Speaker 1: the dance floor. Oh, my goodness.
[5:23] Speaker 3: But it was– honestly, it was a lot of fun.
[5:25] Speaker 3: The three of us stayed at like this super– we
[5:28] Speaker 3: stayed at a bed and breakfast.
[5:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was crazy.
[5:31] Speaker 3: It was quite nice. It was on the harbor, on
[5:34] Speaker 3: the marina, I guess.
[5:35] Speaker 1: Beautiful.
[5:35] Speaker 3: Beautiful.
[5:36] Speaker 1: Very great Gatsby-esque, the whole wedding.
[5:38] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
[5:40] Speaker 2: How dramatic was the walk-in, though, from all parties involved?
[5:42] Speaker 2: It was like a 500-yard walk from the top of
[5:44] Speaker 2: the stairs all the way down.
[5:46] Speaker 3: It put WrestleMania to shame. I know. WrestleMania's had a
[5:49] Speaker 3: giant entrance. Yeah, like Paige with the big dress, she
[5:54] Speaker 3: had to walk down 75 steps and all the way around.
[5:58] Speaker 3: The whole thing was– you have to imagine, it was
[6:01] Speaker 3: like the most beautiful– it was in a garden, right?
[6:04] Speaker 2: It was beautiful. The whole thing was beautiful.
[6:06] Speaker 1: Great wedding. Great, great venue.
[6:07] Speaker 3: They did a great job and congrats to the happy couple. Yeah.
[6:11] Speaker 1: If you've ever seen the movie cruel intentions, like that's
[6:14] Speaker 1: where they filmed cruel intentions. A lot of it like that.
[6:17] Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
[6:18] Speaker 2: I'm unfamiliar.
[6:18] Speaker 3: Okay.
[6:18] Speaker 1: I only knew that Abby, my wife on the way home,
[6:21] Speaker 1: randomly watched cruel intention. She's like, how weird is this?
[6:24] Speaker 1: Like this is where the wedding was. No way. Yeah.
[6:28] Speaker 2: Wait, it's actually, that is, that is.
[6:30] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[6:30] Speaker 1: Oh, it's actually the venue. Yes.
[6:32] Speaker 2: Oh, Oh, sorry. I didn't realize that. That's crazy.
[6:35] Speaker 3: Like the actual venue.
[6:36] Speaker 1: Huh. Good effort.
[6:38] Speaker 3: It was fun. Fun time. Let's get into some fan questions.
[6:43] Speaker 3: So let's start with that. What do you think about
[6:48] Speaker 3: Matthew from Louisiana, Sam? You want to read that?
[6:51] Speaker 1: Yeah, Matthew. I was at– I'm not even going to
[6:53] Speaker 1: read the whole question. I was at Dave & Buster's
[6:55] Speaker 1: the other day. It's hot where I live. Took the
[6:56] Speaker 1: boys to Dave & Buster's and Matthew– who is a
[7:00] Speaker 1: fan of the pod came around, introduced himself. He's like,
[7:02] Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm Matthew. Nice to meet you. Nicest guy ever. Um,
[7:07] Speaker 1: just said, love the pod. And that was kind of it.
[7:08] Speaker 1: Just a simple little hi and hello. I like when
[7:11] Speaker 1: people say they love the pod though. We get that occasionally.
[7:13] Speaker 1: Like we're, you get it more so at tournaments, but
[7:15] Speaker 1: it's even cooler when you get it outside of a
[7:17] Speaker 1: tournament venue. And Dave and busters a few days ago,
[7:20] Speaker 1: Matthew shot up.
[7:21] Speaker 3: It's, it's no longer. I used to love to watch
[7:24] Speaker 3: you play. It's I love the pod. Yeah. Um, yeah,
[7:28] Speaker 3: I don't, That's probably a good thing, I guess. I
[7:31] Speaker 3: don't know. But that's how it goes for us now.
[7:35] Speaker 3: The merch is out there. The merch is in the wild.
[7:36] Speaker 3: I'm still seeing some merch. Last summer where I am
[7:40] Speaker 3: in Wyoming, it's like a very kind of off the
[7:43] Speaker 3: beaten path place. I saw– no, I didn't see some
[7:45] Speaker 3: of that. I got a compliment. I got a podcast
[7:47] Speaker 3: compliment in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, which is– which
[7:51] Speaker 3: is really cool.
[7:51] Speaker 2: Tennis is everywhere.
[7:52] Speaker 3: All right.
[7:54] Speaker 1: Here we go.
[7:55] Speaker 3: This is from an anonymous– didn't want to reveal his name–
[7:58] Speaker 3: from Hong Kong. Who would you bet on a modified
[8:01] Speaker 3: Laver Cup competition? All right, here we go. Team Ginger,
[8:07] Speaker 3: Rod Laver, Jim Currier, Yannick Sinner versus Team Ponytail, Roger Federer,
[8:12] Speaker 3: Leighton Hewitt, Pat Rafter. Everyone is playing at their peak.
[8:16] Speaker 3: So Ginger versus Ponytail. Old school.
[8:21] Speaker 1: Old school Fed with the Ponytail.
[8:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good one. I'm taking Team Ginger, though.
[8:26] Speaker 1: I can't. So you put them up. You put them
[8:28] Speaker 1: at their peak. So, like, Fed at his peak versus
[8:31] Speaker 1: Sinner at his peak. Oh, yeah. So, Roger.
[8:34] Speaker 3: Okay.
[8:36] Speaker 1: Maybe.
[8:36] Speaker 2: Roger in that one.
[8:37] Speaker 1: It's pretty close. Yeah, Roger. You're saying that like it's obvious.
[8:40] Speaker 1: Got Roger in that one. It's not obvious. I'm not
[8:43] Speaker 1: saying it's Sinner, but it's not Roger.
[8:45] Speaker 3: Okay.
[8:46] Speaker 2: Well, that's my answer.
[8:47] Speaker 1: All right. That's your answer. Hewitt versus Currier.
[8:50] Speaker 3: Taking.
[8:51] Speaker 1: Gotta like courier at his peak.
[8:54] Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
[8:55] Speaker 1: And then Rod Laver versus Pat Rafter.
[8:58] Speaker 3: Gotta take Rafter over Laver.
[9:01] Speaker 1: Laver has like 15 slams or something. Gonna take Rafter unfortunately.
[9:05] Speaker 3: I'm going team ginger here.
[9:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, team ginger.
[9:08] Speaker 3: I didn't know Laver was a ginger, but.
[9:10] Speaker 1: Apparently he is.
[9:11] Speaker 2: Does the Rocket get a real racket or does he
[9:13] Speaker 2: gotta use the wood stick? I've taken Rafter with a
[9:15] Speaker 2: real racket over Laver. I think Laver takes out Rafter
[9:17] Speaker 2: like Comfortably, two and three.
[9:20] Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
[9:21] Speaker 1: Fair, fair.
[9:24] Speaker 3: All right, here we go. Okay, how about this one
[9:29] Speaker 3: from Daichi in Japan? He says, my friend says that
[9:33] Speaker 3: Novak is the LeBron and that Federer is the Jordan
[9:38] Speaker 3: of tennis. Would you agree?
[9:39] Speaker 2: I don't think so.
[9:40] Speaker 3: That's actually not a– no, you would disagree, Stevie?
[9:43] Speaker 2: Well, I mean, because Novak has– More accolades, but Jordan
[9:46] Speaker 2: has more rings, right? Like, it's kind of a different comparison, no?
[9:49] Speaker 2: They're looking at this from a longevity standpoint, I think.
[9:52] Speaker 2: Then yes.
[9:52] Speaker 1: And like popularity. They're not taking the titles into account.
[9:55] Speaker 1: But Jordan really only has titles overall. LeBron.
[10:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's doing this lame LeBron versus Jordan debate.
[10:03] Speaker 3: He only has titles over LeBron. Didn't play three years
[10:05] Speaker 3: in his prime. I know, but still.
[10:09] Speaker 2: The longevity is unmatched. LeBron is for sure Novak. Like
[10:13] Speaker 2: those guys, the longevity is a joke. You can't argue
[10:15] Speaker 2: that for sure. I'm with you on that one.
[10:17] Speaker 1: It's not a terrible comparison. It's not terrible.
[10:19] Speaker 3: It's a good comparison, I think. I mean, the numbers
[10:22] Speaker 3: don't lie with Novak, right? Even though people want to
[10:26] Speaker 3: say that someone else might– some other players might be
[10:28] Speaker 3: the greatest of all time. The numbers do not lie
[10:30] Speaker 3: with Novak. All right, here we go. Emma in Vancouver,
[10:35] Speaker 3: if the three of us– made a three-man team and
[10:42] Speaker 3: played a best ball match. Sorry, that was worded weird.
[10:45] Speaker 3: Do you think that that three-man team could beat any
[10:49] Speaker 3: other three former ATP pros in a best ball golf match?
[10:53] Speaker 3: If not, which trio of former tennis players do you
[10:56] Speaker 3: think would be the toughest matchup? Is they asking if,
[10:58] Speaker 3: could we beat any former?
[11:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, we can't.
[11:01] Speaker 3: No.
[11:01] Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
[11:02] Speaker 2: Not a chance.
[11:03] Speaker 1: Marty Fish. Like you take Marty and Tim Henman kind
[11:08] Speaker 1: of thing.
[11:08] Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I mean, yeah, we would lose in a
[11:10] Speaker 2: best ball. If they, if they take like the three
[11:12] Speaker 2: of them, right? Like they got a cherry pick the
[11:14] Speaker 2: best three. Like we have no chance.
[11:16] Speaker 3: No.
[11:16] Speaker 1: Well, we have no chance, but like best.
[11:18] Speaker 2: Ball, no, no handicaps.
[11:20] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:20] Speaker 2: We have no chance guys. I promise you.
[11:22] Speaker 1: We're not that far behind though.
[11:24] Speaker 3: Against who? What are you talking about?
[11:26] Speaker 2: I'm saying if they, if you, if you took all
[11:27] Speaker 2: those guys that like plus twos or threes in the
[11:29] Speaker 2: golf handicap and we played straight up, like we.
[11:31] Speaker 1: Don't have two's Marty is, but like what's Casper.
[11:36] Speaker 2: I mean, Casper and I are the same probably. Yeah,
[11:38] Speaker 2: so that's a– But I'm saying like Henman's unreal. I'm
[11:43] Speaker 2: just saying– Remember the Aussie? He's like– That's right. If
[11:46] Speaker 2: you take those guys, they.
[11:47] Speaker 3: Kill us, dude.
[11:48] Speaker 1: Straight up.
[11:48] Speaker 3: And then Blumberg who played on tour, Will Blumberg is
[11:52] Speaker 3: like ridiculous. He would kill us.
[11:53] Speaker 1: Yeah. There's some good tennis golfers.
[11:55] Speaker 3: There's some good tennis– Marty's at the top of the list.
[11:57] Speaker 3: He just won again that tournament in Lake Tahoe. Yes.
[12:02] Speaker 2: I mean– Yeah, we don't have a chance. Are they
[12:03] Speaker 2: going to cherry pick the best three?
[12:06] Speaker 3: I mean, Stevie's– you're one of the best tennis golf
[12:09] Speaker 3: players for sure in the world. Like you're top– former
[12:14] Speaker 3: or current, you're a top 10 guy, right? Without a doubt.
[12:19] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[12:20] Speaker 2: Put my money on that.
[12:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[12:22] Speaker 1: I would agree.
[12:23] Speaker 2: It would be fun, but it would be tricky if
[12:25] Speaker 2: they got a cherry pick.
[12:26] Speaker 3: Let us know if there's any appetite out there for
[12:29] Speaker 3: nothing major golf content. Let us know if there's any.
[12:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, do let us know.
[12:33] Speaker 2: We'd love that.
[12:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it's like YouTube internet golf is like
[12:37] Speaker 3: a thing.
[12:37] Speaker 1: It's very popular.
[12:39] Speaker 2: We'd love to do that. Like a nice little scramble
[12:40] Speaker 2: with the three of us against three of their guys
[12:42] Speaker 2: would make for a good content.
[12:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I mean, Andy Murray's doing it on his
[12:46] Speaker 3: new YouTube page.
[12:48] Speaker 2: Exactly. We should do a little cross-platform with the Murray,
[12:51] Speaker 2: you know? Yeah.
[12:53] Speaker 3: Good question, Emma. I like that. But no, we're not beating,
[12:56] Speaker 3: you know, we're, I mean, Sam and myself are just
[12:59] Speaker 3: dragging Stevie down.
[13:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, but if they take handicaps, I like our
[13:03] Speaker 2: chances because you guys are gamers. Yeah, fair enough.
[13:06] Speaker 3: If Sam's playing off an eight or whatever or a
[13:08] Speaker 3: seven or a six or seven.
[13:09] Speaker 2: He's a five now.
[13:10] Speaker 1: A five and a half. Are you?
[13:12] Speaker 3: Yes.
[13:13] Speaker 1: Okay.
[13:13] Speaker 3: I don't like that because.
[13:14] Speaker 2: Then if I take him places, he's worse.
[13:16] Speaker 1: I want him to be a seven or an eight.
[13:18] Speaker 3: Yeah, you need Sam to be a seven and a half.
[13:21] Speaker 3: You know what? Sometimes when you play a long round
[13:24] Speaker 3: of golf, are you guys starving when you play golf?
[13:28] Speaker 2: Stevie i am i am i'm always starting and when
[13:30] Speaker 2: hunger hits and you're exhausted there's something healthy in your
[13:33] Speaker 2: fridge or pantry that you want to get home to
[13:35] Speaker 2: but you just don't have it in you that's when
[13:37] Speaker 2: factor comes into play for.
[13:38] Speaker 1: Me eating healthy it's not a willpower problem it's a
[13:42] Speaker 1: setup problem i know you guys think i don't eat
[13:44] Speaker 1: healthy and i don't a lot of the time but
[13:47] Speaker 1: when i have the factors in the fridge i actually
[13:49] Speaker 1: eat the fractures so does my wife they're excellent.
[13:51] Speaker 3: Yeah, you actually sent a picture in the other day
[13:54] Speaker 3: of the Factor Meals. It takes the workout of eating healthy.
[13:57] Speaker 3: The fully prepared meals are designed by dieticians and crafted
[14:01] Speaker 3: by chefs, delivered straight to your door. No planning, no
[14:04] Speaker 3: grocery runs, no cooking. Very simple.
[14:07] Speaker 2: And it helps me stay consistent. Factor has meals built
[14:09] Speaker 2: around your goals, whether it's weight loss, better nutrition, more protein,
[14:12] Speaker 2: or GLP-1 support.
[14:13] Speaker 3: And there's always variety. It's not the same old repeatable
[14:17] Speaker 3: bland meals. There's over 100 rotating weekly meals with global
[14:22] Speaker 3: flavors like Mediterranean and Asian. It's actually not my favorite.
[14:27] Speaker 3: It's really good of everything they have, but there's always
[14:30] Speaker 3: something new to try.
[14:31] Speaker 1: Most importantly, it's convenient. It takes two minutes to fire
[14:34] Speaker 1: it up in the microwave. You don't have to cook.
[14:37] Speaker 1: You don't have to prep. You know, that takes like
[14:38] Speaker 1: an hour. It takes two hours sometimes. You got to
[14:40] Speaker 1: go to the grocery store, bring all the food back,
[14:41] Speaker 1: chop it up, get ready, not with Factor.
[14:43] Speaker 2: And it makes staying on track with your nutrition goals
[14:45] Speaker 2: so much easier.
[14:46] Speaker 3: And there's no cleaning. That's probably the worst part of cooking.
[14:49] Speaker 3: Everyone knows that. There's no cleaning with Factor. I don't
[14:51] Speaker 3: mind cooking or cleaning actually. I don't mind cleaning either.
[14:54] Speaker 3: I'm good, really good at cleaning. I think I'm top
[14:57] Speaker 3: 10 in the world at cleaning a kitchen. I'm that good.
[15:00] Speaker 3: But with Factor, there is no cleaning. But anyways, head
[15:03] Speaker 3: to factormeals.com slash nothingmajor50off. That's nothingmajor5050off. And use code nothingmajor50off
[15:13] Speaker 3: to get 50% off and free daily greens per box
[15:17] Speaker 3: with a new subscription while supplies last until September 27th.
[15:21] Speaker 3: 2026 see website for more details. Right.
[15:27] Speaker 1: Thanks to factor.
[15:28] Speaker 3: Sam, you're, you're, you're good at cleaning the kitchen as well.
[15:31] Speaker 1: I am good. You, I think are better than me.
[15:33] Speaker 1: Like I've seen you in the kitchen. Also an excellent cleaner.
[15:37] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[15:38] Speaker 1: We're all three. Great.
[15:39] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[15:40] Speaker 1: We're all very clean.
[15:42] Speaker 3: Yes.
[15:43] Speaker 1: Extremely.
[15:44] Speaker 3: We all, we all have that in common. Yes, we do.
[15:47] Speaker 3: I have a, I have a system and cleaning dishes
[15:51] Speaker 3: and clean the whole kitchen and It's got to be–
[15:54] Speaker 3: Got to have a system. Got to have a system.
[15:56] Speaker 3: And I adhere to it every single time.
[15:59] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:00] Speaker 3: Oh, sorry. I meant to mention this. Before we move on,
[16:02] Speaker 3: we're going to do our ATP fantasy update. We've been
[16:04] Speaker 3: doing that for a long time. Back to Tommy's wedding,
[16:07] Speaker 3: I really– I skipped this part. I had a bet
[16:10] Speaker 3: with Sam and he gave me five to one odds
[16:12] Speaker 3: that Tommy– I said Tommy would cry and Sam said,
[16:15] Speaker 3: no way he's going to cry. And he did. Tommy
[16:18] Speaker 3: got emotional up there.
[16:19] Speaker 1: Yes.
[16:20] Speaker 3: Good for him. Sam, were you a little annoyed? We
[16:22] Speaker 3: did $ 5, right? So $ 5 to my– Sam's $ 5 to
[16:26] Speaker 3: my $ 25 that I could win if he cried. I
[16:29] Speaker 3: sent Sam a Venmo request. Was that a little annoying?
[16:32] Speaker 1: No, no. I was glad you sent it.
[16:34] Speaker 2: Okay.
[16:34] Speaker 1: You must have sent it the next day. I was
[16:36] Speaker 1: like on the flight. And send him $ 25 for Tommy
[16:41] Speaker 1: tearing up during the vows. Oh, my goodness. The guy
[16:45] Speaker 1: in front of us for the wedding wanted in on
[16:46] Speaker 1: the bet too.
[16:47] Speaker 3: Yes, he did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He wanted in on
[16:49] Speaker 3: the bet. He said Tommy wasn't going to– I could
[16:50] Speaker 3: have made a lot of money there. He said Tommy
[16:51] Speaker 3: wasn't going to cry either.
[16:52] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:53] Speaker 3: Anyways, all right. Back to the ATP fantasy. We've been
[16:56] Speaker 3: doing this for a handful of months now, and we
[17:00] Speaker 3: are going to, I believe, rearrange our team if we
[17:06] Speaker 3: think we need to. As a reminder, this is a
[17:10] Speaker 3: lot of fun, by the way. A lot of people are–
[17:12] Speaker 3: a part of this ATP fantasy program, if you want
[17:18] Speaker 3: to call it that. It's, as I mentioned, fun. You're
[17:20] Speaker 3: giving 100 coins. That's like your salary cap to draft
[17:24] Speaker 3: a team of eight players. And for this specifically post Wimbledon,
[17:28] Speaker 3: we're just doing this for the big 1000 events. So
[17:32] Speaker 3: Washington DC is not a part of it. Winston-Salem is
[17:37] Speaker 3: not a part of it. So we're focusing on the U.S.
[17:40] Speaker 3: Open Series. Is it still called the U.S. Open Series?
[17:42] Speaker 1: I do believe so.
[17:43] Speaker 3: It is? I don't know.
[17:44] Speaker 1: We'll call it that.
[17:46] Speaker 3: Anyways, but all right. So the roster, as a reminder, again,
[17:51] Speaker 3: consists of six starters and two alternates on the bench.
[17:54] Speaker 3: Their values are, according to their ranking, obviously, if you
[17:58] Speaker 3: want center on your team, he's going to cost a
[18:00] Speaker 3: lot of coins. He's going to take up a lot
[18:01] Speaker 3: of your salary cap. And after each tournament, you're allowed
[18:04] Speaker 3: to make two roster switches. Anyways, so let's do that.
[18:11] Speaker 3: So this is our team from.
[18:13] Speaker 2: I kind of like our team still, quite frankly.
[18:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, I like our team too, but we got to
[18:17] Speaker 3: make two roster switches. So, you know, obviously we can't
[18:20] Speaker 3: have Alcaraz on the team. I mean, I kind of
[18:24] Speaker 3: like what Prakash was saying. What is Ben Shelton's worth?
[18:27] Speaker 1: Where's Ben Shelton? Costs 19 coins. What do you think
[18:31] Speaker 1: about Ben? I like Ben because he hasn't been playing.
[18:34] Speaker 1: He didn't play well in Roland Garros and Wimbledon. It's
[18:36] Speaker 1: like his due.
[18:37] Speaker 2: I would take him over Rublev.
[18:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. So Rublev's 12, but we're adding 19.
[18:43] Speaker 1: Should we drop Ben Sheik or Lerner? Let's see if
[18:45] Speaker 1: that works.
[18:48] Speaker 3: Drop Ben Sheik. Yep. And then add Ben.
[18:53] Speaker 1: Add Ben.
[18:53] Speaker 3: Okay. How many coins do we have?
[18:56] Speaker 1: How many coins do we have now?
[18:58] Speaker 3: One. We've won.
[18:59] Speaker 1: Oh, wait.
[19:00] Speaker 3: Our budget is one. Wow.
[19:01] Speaker 1: Let's get a sleeper. There's got to be a sleeper
[19:03] Speaker 1: worth one coin. Hold on. We've got to find that
[19:07] Speaker 1: Terrence Oppen.
[19:07] Speaker 3: That adds up to 60. Go back. Go down.
[19:11] Speaker 1: Israel doesn't like the math.
[19:13] Speaker 3: I don't like the math.
[19:15] Speaker 1: 55, 62, 84.
[19:18] Speaker 3: No, we have more than one. Yeah.
[19:20] Speaker 1: Oh, no. Look at the bench, though. Look at the bench.
[19:22] Speaker 3: Oh, well, then put Fonseca in there.
[19:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, Fonseca, baby.
[19:26] Speaker 1: Okay.
[19:26] Speaker 3: I like that.
[19:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that team there.
[19:29] Speaker 3: Do we have to add an alternate? Even though we
[19:31] Speaker 3: have $ 1, we can put in a $ 1 alternate.
[19:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, go get a $ 1 alternate right now.
[19:35] Speaker 3: So our six, just for if you're listening to this
[19:38] Speaker 3: on audio, is Sinner, Fritz, Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Lerner Tien,
[19:42] Speaker 3: and Joao Fonseca. That's very American heavy. I like that team.
[19:47] Speaker 1: That's a fun team, though. It's a fun team.
[19:49] Speaker 3: It's a fun team.
[19:49] Speaker 1: Exactly all right and the one point all right one
[19:54] Speaker 1: coin one.
[19:54] Speaker 3: Anyone anyone anyone we're not going to submit them anyone doesn't.
[19:58] Speaker 2: Matter they're not getting any time.
[20:01] Speaker 1: Yeah okay heart and soul brazilian guy bark someone named
[20:06] Speaker 1: in barky all right perfect So that's our team.
[20:11] Speaker 3: And we're sticking with this team through the U.S. No, no, sorry.
[20:17] Speaker 3: It's Montreal and Cincinnati. We think all those guys are
[20:20] Speaker 3: going to be at those events. Is Sinner going to
[20:23] Speaker 3: play Montreal?
[20:24] Speaker 2: I hope so, dude. I want him to win all nine.
[20:26] Speaker 3: Yes.
[20:26] Speaker 1: I think he wants to win all nine. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah.
[20:29] Speaker 3: Well, let's hope he plays Montreal because our team's going
[20:31] Speaker 3: to be horrendous if he doesn't. We can change it
[20:35] Speaker 3: out if he doesn't play Montreal. So as of right now,
[20:39] Speaker 3: It was still like two weeks before he plays. Exactly.
[20:42] Speaker 1: Exactly.
[20:43] Speaker 3: Anyways, as I mentioned, this initiative is caught on very quickly.
[20:50] Speaker 3: I think it was a good job by the ATP.
[20:52] Speaker 3: But if you're interested in being a part of this,
[20:55] Speaker 3: go to ATP Fantasy, create your team, and you can
[20:58] Speaker 3: join our league in the description of this video. We're
[21:04] Speaker 3: pretty terrible. We've never been close to winning our own group,
[21:07] Speaker 3: but we have fun with it. Yes.
[21:09] Speaker 1: And I like this team. I love this team. Speaking
[21:12] Speaker 1: of groups, someone calls your business. If you call the
[21:15] Speaker 1: nothing major hotline and no one's around to pick up,
[21:18] Speaker 1: chances are they're moving on. That's why this episode is
[21:21] Speaker 1: brought to you by Quo, the business phone system so
[21:25] Speaker 1: you will never miss a call.
[21:26] Speaker 2: Quo keeps all your calls, texts, and voicemails in one
[21:28] Speaker 2: place so anyone on your team can jump into the
[21:30] Speaker 2: conversation and respond quickly.
[21:31] Speaker 1: Yeah, and I said this. We did read for them before.
[21:34] Speaker 1: I said this last time. For those of you freaky
[21:36] Speaker 1: people who call late at night, Quo is going to
[21:38] Speaker 1: always be there, right? You will never miss a call
[21:41] Speaker 1: with Quo even if you call after hours.
[21:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, it also connects with the tools your team already
[21:45] Speaker 2: uses so everything stays real. organized without bouncing between different systems.
[21:49] Speaker 1: Easy to set up, works on any device, and most importantly,
[21:52] Speaker 1: you get to use your current number. So starting couldn't
[21:54] Speaker 1: be easier.
[21:55] Speaker 2: And when money is on the line, always say hello
[21:57] Speaker 2: with Quo.
[21:58] Speaker 3: I like that. Try Quo for free, plus get 20%
[22:02] Speaker 3: off your first six months when you go to Quo.com
[22:06] Speaker 3: slash nothing major.
[22:08] Speaker 1: That's Q-U-O. Oh, damn, you're Stevie.
[22:11] Speaker 2: That's Quo.com, Q-U-O slash nothing major. Next, we're going to
[22:16] Speaker 2: get a Hooked on Phonics sponsorship so Sam can read.
[22:19] Speaker 1: I love the quote. I really just want to keep calling.
[22:23] Speaker 2: He loves to call all those freaky people calling late
[22:25] Speaker 2: at night.
[22:25] Speaker 3: Yeah. Freaky people.
[22:28] Speaker 1: Freaky people call it after hours. Great product.
[22:32] Speaker 3: All of our stuff, we use the products too. Sam
[22:36] Speaker 3: and Stevie with the Nutrafol. I don't use Nutrafol. Just yet,
[22:39] Speaker 3: but everything else.
[22:40] Speaker 2: We used enough for the three of us.
[22:41] Speaker 1: It's okay. I was bummed last Kachava, the protein powder.
[22:45] Speaker 1: That was like one of the reasons I was actually
[22:46] Speaker 1: bummed last week when I was like getting kicked off.
[22:48] Speaker 1: You guys did a Kachava read. I didn't do it.
[22:50] Speaker 3: Unreal.
[22:50] Speaker 1: I brought it to Wimbledon with me. I love it.
[22:52] Speaker 3: It's good stuff.
[22:53] Speaker 1: I'm going to go have one here in five minutes.
[22:56] Speaker 3: Again, I said at the beginning of this episode, we're
[22:58] Speaker 3: moving on here. We tried to do this last week,
[23:01] Speaker 3: but Sam had technical difficulties. What was actually wrong with
[23:04] Speaker 3: your computer, Sam?
[23:05] Speaker 1: I don't know if it was like the Riverside app
[23:07] Speaker 1: that we use or the Wi-Fi in my house. I
[23:10] Speaker 1: think we came to the conclusion it was both. I
[23:12] Speaker 1: tested it the day after it was fine, and I'm
[23:15] Speaker 1: good today. So I honestly don't know.
[23:17] Speaker 3: We also came to the conclusion that it was the
[23:19] Speaker 3: Chinese app. That got you.
[23:21] Speaker 1: The hackers. Well, I made a reference about Chinese hackers
[23:24] Speaker 1: that we actually took out of a previous pod, but
[23:26] Speaker 1: I think the Chinese actually heard it and got into
[23:29] Speaker 1: my malware. I thought I was still in there.
[23:35] Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness.
[23:36] Speaker 1: Anyway, they infiltrated.
[23:37] Speaker 3: All right. But I'm going to drop this next segment
[23:40] Speaker 3: off to you, Sam, because this involves me. So go ahead.
[23:44] Speaker 1: All right. So this segment, I ran it by Stevie
[23:47] Speaker 1: in the Suits. I feel like, John, your sports knowledge
[23:51] Speaker 1: as good as it gets. When it comes to like
[23:53] Speaker 1: pop culture, you're average. So what I've done here is
[23:57] Speaker 1: I've come up with 10 celebrities. These are 10 like superstars, honestly.
[24:02] Speaker 1: And I'm convinced that you're not going to know the
[24:04] Speaker 1: majority of them. We're going to put their picture up
[24:07] Speaker 1: and I want you to tell me the name of
[24:08] Speaker 1: these people. These are huge, huge stars. And I just
[24:12] Speaker 1: there's 10 of them. Maybe you get two if you're lucky,
[24:16] Speaker 1: but there's a chance you get zero of them.
[24:18] Speaker 2: No, no. We set up– I set the over-under at
[24:21] Speaker 2: seven and a half. I think John's going to do
[24:22] Speaker 2: a lot better than you think.
[24:23] Speaker 1: I'm a little annoyed that you teased it last week.
[24:25] Speaker 1: So John might have been all over the internet looking at– No, no, no.
[24:28] Speaker 3: Trust me. I did not take the time to do that.
[24:30] Speaker 3: I did not.
[24:31] Speaker 2: I gave him zero information.
[24:32] Speaker 1: We have 10 people. We're going to set it up
[24:34] Speaker 1: right now. I know if you're listening to this on audio,
[24:36] Speaker 1: it's not like the best listen, but let's see if John–
[24:38] Speaker 1: number one right there. John, who is that? One of
[24:41] Speaker 1: the biggest stars in the world. Dua Lipa? No, that
[24:46] Speaker 1: is Alex Earl. Have you ever heard of that?
[24:48] Speaker 3: Oh, come on.
[24:50] Speaker 1: Okay. What do you mean? Are you mad at yourself?
[24:53] Speaker 3: No, no, no. Good point. I don't know. Who is
[24:58] Speaker 3: Alex Earl?
[25:00] Speaker 1: God, this is my point.
[25:01] Speaker 3: Oh, man.
[25:01] Speaker 1: I love it.
[25:02] Speaker 3: I'm not getting eight.
[25:03] Speaker 1: Massive, massive start.
[25:05] Speaker 3: Mr.
[25:05] Speaker 1: Beast.
[25:06] Speaker 3: Mr.
[25:06] Speaker 1: Beast.
[25:06] Speaker 3: Dang it.
[25:07] Speaker 1: All right, Mr.
[25:08] Speaker 3: Beast.
[25:08] Speaker 1: You got the second one. Mr.
[25:09] Speaker 3: North Carolina. That's easy. All right, one for two.
[25:12] Speaker 1: One for two. Next, next. Massive celebrity that I'm convinced
[25:15] Speaker 1: John will not know.
[25:18] Speaker 2: Oh. Oh.
[25:20] Speaker 1: Tate McRae. You only know that because she's dating Jack Hughes,
[25:22] Speaker 1: the hockey player.
[25:23] Speaker 3: Yep. Yep. Yep. Correct.
[25:25] Speaker 1: Good answer. The hockey is great for me. See, I
[25:27] Speaker 1: told you. No way you're getting Tate McRae.
[25:30] Speaker 3: All right. Come on. I'm on a good pace here.
[25:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not getting this. Is that– Why'd you just
[25:37] Speaker 1: guess Dua Lipa again?
[25:39] Speaker 3: No. Is that the– What's her name? Like the girl
[25:42] Speaker 3: that's like really promiscuous. Like she's like very promiscuous.
[25:47] Speaker 1: That's the issue.
[25:47] Speaker 3: You don't know the name.
[25:48] Speaker 2: Not who it is.
[25:50] Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
[25:51] Speaker 3: It's Cooper.
[25:52] Speaker 1: You did not get that.
[25:53] Speaker 3: Nope.
[25:54] Speaker 1: Nope. I can't even big, big show. Call her daddy.
[25:57] Speaker 1: And now she has her own like network. All right.
[25:59] Speaker 1: Two for four. Next up.
[26:02] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. It's like a mugshot photo.
[26:10] Speaker 1: Um, i can't even i don't even one of the
[26:14] Speaker 1: biggest comedians in the world.
[26:16] Speaker 2: Tennis guy oh he was on the tennis channel desk
[26:18] Speaker 2: wasn't he yeah he was at one point yes.
[26:22] Speaker 3: Oh i can't remember his name matt rife i wasn't
[26:26] Speaker 3: gonna get that two for five two for five okay
[26:29] Speaker 3: next up i mean.
[26:31] Speaker 1: Seriously where are the suits getting his photos.
[26:34] Speaker 3: What is that like come on that shouldn't even count.
[26:36] Speaker 2: That's an individual.
[26:37] Speaker 1: You really got it. This person is a massive star.
[26:40] Speaker 1: Will sell out any stadium around the world.
[26:43] Speaker 2: You got nothing. You don't know.
[26:45] Speaker 3: Is that Adele?
[26:46] Speaker 1: That is not Adele.
[26:47] Speaker 3: Billie Eilish. Did you know that, Stevie? Yeah, I did.
[26:56] Speaker 2: I've known him all.
[26:56] Speaker 1: Stevie knows this. Stevie has known every single one probably.
[26:59] Speaker 2: I'm sneaking into the pop culture game.
[27:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, you are sneaking into the pop culture.
[27:03] Speaker 3: Okay.
[27:03] Speaker 1: All right, next up.
[27:07] Speaker 3: I have no clue. No clue. I can't even guess.
[27:09] Speaker 2: Josh Richards.
[27:10] Speaker 1: Josh Richards.
[27:12] Speaker 3: Who is that? I mean, who?
[27:14] Speaker 2: He's like one of those, not TikTokers. Well, he is
[27:16] Speaker 2: a TikToker.
[27:16] Speaker 3: Stop it.
[27:16] Speaker 1: I was like a TikToker.
[27:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, had a huge show with like Portnoy on Barstool.
[27:20] Speaker 2: I think that just ended. I think he's like, he's
[27:22] Speaker 2: probably friends with Fritz in LA. It's my guess.
[27:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, probably. I think he's in the Fritz group.
[27:26] Speaker 1: All right. This is going well so far. I knew
[27:28] Speaker 1: you wouldn't know these people. Who's that?
[27:30] Speaker 3: No, that's Kujikova. Dang it.
[27:33] Speaker 1: I thought I was going to stump you. Yeah. Well done.
[27:37] Speaker 1: Barbara Krajicka at the Louvre.
[27:38] Speaker 3: Yeah. You were all over that. Three.
[27:42] Speaker 2: How did you get that one?
[27:44] Speaker 1: Who is that?
[27:45] Speaker 3: That's Bad Bunny.
[27:47] Speaker 1: If he didn't perform at the Super Bowl, would you
[27:48] Speaker 1: have got that?
[27:50] Speaker 3: I don't think so. I really don't think so.
[27:52] Speaker 1: What is that outfit that he's wearing?
[27:53] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[27:54] Speaker 1: Did he leave the house in that? So four for
[27:57] Speaker 1: 10 or is there one more? There's one more.
[27:59] Speaker 3: Okay. If I get 50%, that's not bad. Yeah.
[28:02] Speaker 1: Who is that?
[28:02] Speaker 2: Who is that?
[28:05] Speaker 1: Did the suits go off my list? I don't know
[28:06] Speaker 1: who that is.
[28:08] Speaker 2: It's number nine on your list, Sam.
[28:09] Speaker 1: All right. I don't have my list in front of me.
[28:11] Speaker 1: So when John doesn't get it, Stevie, you tell him.
[28:13] Speaker 2: Do you want any clues or no?
[28:15] Speaker 1: Just tell him who it is.
[28:18] Speaker 2: In one of the biggest boy bands of the last
[28:20] Speaker 2: few years.
[28:20] Speaker 3: Oh, I know who that is. One Direction.
[28:23] Speaker 1: Frontman. No, he doesn't get credit for this.
[28:29] Speaker 2: He still doesn't know.
[28:30] Speaker 1: Harry Styles.
[28:31] Speaker 3: Harry Styles.
[28:31] Speaker 1: Darn it.
[28:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't get credit for that. That doesn't count. Yeah,
[28:34] Speaker 3: I was going to get Harry Styles. I know it's
[28:36] Speaker 3: not Niall Horan. I was going to get Harry.
[28:38] Speaker 1: Horan? You've met him. You met Niall Horan?
[28:42] Speaker 3: I have met him before, actually, randomly enough. I don't
[28:44] Speaker 3: think I've met Harry Styles. But, yeah. All right, four
[28:49] Speaker 3: for ten.
[28:50] Speaker 1: All right, that's four for ten. That's all of them.
[28:55] Speaker 1: That's about– all right. You perform worse, do you think,
[28:58] Speaker 1: than you thought?
[28:59] Speaker 3: Okay. You've given– you've inspired me, Sam. I'm going to
[29:02] Speaker 3: do 10 athletes. And then you're on the hot seat.
[29:07] Speaker 1: You have to make them like well-known– you can't have
[29:10] Speaker 1: like the defensive end from Georgia Bulldogs football who played
[29:13] Speaker 1: one year for the Titans.
[29:14] Speaker 3: I'm not going to give you the Georgia Bulldogs like
[29:16] Speaker 3: tied in from 2012.
[29:17] Speaker 1: I won't do that. Okay.
[29:20] Speaker 3: Yeah. That you've inspired me.
[29:21] Speaker 2: John, let's set up our own group chat.
[29:23] Speaker 3: We're going to set up our own group chat and
[29:25] Speaker 3: I'm going to come up with some good athletes, professional athletes.
[29:28] Speaker 2: I don't think Sam will know any of them.
[29:30] Speaker 3: It's going to be great. This is going to be awesome.
[29:31] Speaker 1: Have you guys ever talked crap about me behind my
[29:34] Speaker 1: back in a separate chat regarding?
[29:36] Speaker 3: 100%.
[29:40] Speaker 1: Just like you guys have talked crap about me. It's
[29:42] Speaker 1: a vicious circle.
[29:43] Speaker 2: You got to make sure you're in the right group chat.
[29:44] Speaker 3: I'm actually glad you brought that up, Sam. That was
[29:46] Speaker 3: a good segue. We– there was a– Remember how you
[29:52] Speaker 3: called me out, Sam, for the IBM thing and how
[29:58] Speaker 3: I was waffling and now I'm in and I did
[30:02] Speaker 3: hand in the air. You caught me at a bad time.
[30:04] Speaker 3: I'm fully a part of it. I got something. I
[30:09] Speaker 3: got something that's been grinding my gears. We talked about
[30:12] Speaker 3: it with Prakash last week, how we played golf in
[30:16] Speaker 3: South Carolina, right? And you beat me by one stroke.
[30:20] Speaker 3: That's not the point of the story. So we got
[30:24] Speaker 3: into this now, Sam, when, so set the stage, a
[30:29] Speaker 3: friend of mine hosted us at his beautiful club, right? Yes. Okay. Okay.
[30:33] Speaker 3: And then he had to peel off after the ninth
[30:35] Speaker 3: hole because he had to go somewhere else. So it
[30:37] Speaker 3: was the three of us and two caddies finished the
[30:40] Speaker 3: round of golf.
[30:41] Speaker 1: All right.
[30:42] Speaker 3: We get to the 18th green. We finish out the hole.
[30:45] Speaker 3: You beat me one up, which was very frustrating. Stevie
[30:49] Speaker 3: and I huddle up, and we want to take care
[30:51] Speaker 3: of our caddies extremely well, and we do that. We
[30:55] Speaker 3: each tip the caddies, but you just walk off. Don't
[31:00] Speaker 3: even think about the tip whatsoever. Don't even ask about
[31:05] Speaker 3: the tip, Stevie.
[31:06] Speaker 2: I can– I have another great Sam Querrey golf tipping
[31:09] Speaker 2: story as well.
[31:10] Speaker 3: It's fine.
[31:10] Speaker 2: We can keep going with this.
[31:11] Speaker 1: I don't get a rebuttal for this one? No, continue.
[31:14] Speaker 3: My point is that Stevie and I clearly tipped our
[31:16] Speaker 3: two caddies, tipped them while they were awesome, and you
[31:20] Speaker 3: kind of just sauntered off, and that was the end
[31:22] Speaker 3: of it.
[31:23] Speaker 1: I tipped the caddy, my caddy. By the way, one
[31:25] Speaker 1: of my biggest pet peeves on the course is when
[31:28] Speaker 1: guys are on the green, and it's like the long handshake,
[31:31] Speaker 1: take care of the caddy on the 18th game where
[31:33] Speaker 1: there's people behind you.
[31:34] Speaker 3: It needs to be taken.
[31:35] Speaker 1: Care of off to the side.
[31:36] Speaker 2: There was no one behind us.
[31:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, there was. That's just my thing. But I tipped
[31:41] Speaker 1: the caddy 100%. Okay.
[31:44] Speaker 3: Hand in the air again. Didn't know that.
[31:46] Speaker 1: I 100% tipped the caddy.
[31:48] Speaker 3: Okay.
[31:48] Speaker 1: I believe you. I believe you.
[31:50] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[31:51] Speaker 1: You got to get off the green. What do you got, Stevie?
[31:54] Speaker 2: I got another one from another prestigious course in LA.
[31:57] Speaker 2: This was like a year or two ago we played. John,
[32:04] Speaker 2: you know this story. I've told you, right?
[32:06] Speaker 1: I think so.
[32:07] Speaker 2: So we're walking up 18. It's always customary, right? If
[32:09] Speaker 2: you are the guest, you take care of the caddy.
[32:11] Speaker 2: So we walk off. Sam and I were also playing
[32:13] Speaker 2: against one another that day. It was last– I remember
[32:18] Speaker 2: it was last October actually because it was Sam's birthday,
[32:21] Speaker 2: give or take a day or two. So I take–
[32:23] Speaker 2: of course, I'm a big cash guy. I always have cash.
[32:26] Speaker 2: So I take care of the caddies because I'm like, Sam,
[32:28] Speaker 2: do you have cash?
[32:28] Speaker 3: He goes, no.
[32:29] Speaker 2: I take care of the caddies. It's not– And I
[32:31] Speaker 2: also beat Sam in golf today. So let's say he
[32:33] Speaker 2: owed me a hundred bucks. And as we're walking off,
[32:36] Speaker 2: he just goes, I guess we'll just call it a
[32:37] Speaker 2: birthday gift, huh? And I'm like, no, no, the hell
[32:42] Speaker 2: we are. Like, what are you talking about? I'd say
[32:44] Speaker 2: I was probably out like six or 700 bucks and
[32:46] Speaker 2: Sam goes, I will call it a birthday gift.
[32:47] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[32:48] Speaker 1: I'm like, no sir. I feel like the cat is
[32:49] Speaker 1: being like, if you got the cat, you get it,
[32:51] Speaker 1: then I'll get it the next time. But you never
[32:53] Speaker 1: get it the next time. I get it the next time.
[32:55] Speaker 1: This is what you do.
[32:56] Speaker 3: Hold on. Hold on.
[32:57] Speaker 2: This is a, hold on. Hold on. John can attest
[33:00] Speaker 2: to this. This is what Sam will do. You'll do
[33:02] Speaker 2: this and then we'll get somewhere and he'll pay for
[33:04] Speaker 2: like the $ 36 lunch and be like, we're even?
[33:08] Speaker 1: It all adds up over 20 years. It's like, I'm
[33:10] Speaker 1: getting a lot of lunches. It all ends up. John. Oh, yes.
[33:16] Speaker 1: We're airing our dirty laundry out here. This is a
[33:19] Speaker 1: Thursday episode to not miss.
[33:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[33:21] Speaker 1: Sam, do you remember that day?
[33:22] Speaker 3: Sam will get the morning coffee.
[33:24] Speaker 1: I don't remember that day. I don't remember that day.
[33:26] Speaker 2: I remember it well.
[33:26] Speaker 1: But it was my birthday.
[33:29] Speaker 2: But I'll never forget you.
[33:30] Speaker 1: It'll probably be on my birthday. We'll count it.
[33:32] Speaker 2: As a birthday gift. And I'm like, did I just
[33:35] Speaker 2: play golf with Larry David again? Or what?
[33:37] Speaker 1: All right. Speaking of golf.
[33:39] Speaker 3: Yep.
[33:40] Speaker 1: Let's talk a little Wayfarer. All right. I recently updated
[33:43] Speaker 1: my house and I got my mom a little something
[33:45] Speaker 1: at my parents' house too. Wayfair makes such a difference.
[33:48] Speaker 1: It's exactly what you need to make the space in
[33:51] Speaker 1: your house a little more functional.
[33:52] Speaker 3: Yeah. And what stood out to me was finding something
[33:55] Speaker 3: that like would fit my style without overspending. That's very,
[33:59] Speaker 3: very hard to do sometimes. Wayfair made that easy decision.
[34:03] Speaker 3: And to find the right piece, the whole process from
[34:05] Speaker 3: shopping to delivery was very, very easy.
[34:08] Speaker 2: And putting it together sounds like a headache. They can
[34:10] Speaker 2: handle delivery, installation and assembly.
[34:12] Speaker 1: That's the key.
[34:13] Speaker 2: You don't want to assemble that yourself. So you just
[34:15] Speaker 2: pick up what you want and they deal with the rest.
[34:17] Speaker 1: I order from Wayfair. Everyone should check it out. It's
[34:19] Speaker 1: very easy to check it out. If you've been putting
[34:22] Speaker 1: off like getting you on like a table or chair
[34:24] Speaker 1: or something, go on Wayfair, check it out. They literally
[34:26] Speaker 1: have everything.
[34:27] Speaker 3: And with real customer reviews, there are a lot of them.
[34:29] Speaker 3: Trust me, you can see how pieces look in real
[34:32] Speaker 3: homes before making a decision.
[34:33] Speaker 1: Ready to upgrade your home for way less? Head to
[34:35] Speaker 1: Wayfair.com right now to shop all things and get your
[34:38] Speaker 1: space ready for less. That's Wayfair, W-A-Y-F-A-I-R.com. Thanks to Wayfair.
[34:45] Speaker 1: Wayfair is awesome. Just so you guys know, sometimes when
[34:50] Speaker 1: we do ad reads, a lot of times we either
[34:52] Speaker 1: get some little bit of product. They might send like
[34:53] Speaker 1: a sample product. This isn't for like Wayfair. This is
[34:56] Speaker 1: for anything. Or we might get like a little $ 50
[34:59] Speaker 1: gift card or something. You know where I'm going with this, Stevie?
[35:01] Speaker 2: I know. You and I had the same thought.
[35:03] Speaker 1: So recently we got something from Quince. Quince. And part
[35:07] Speaker 1: of it was we got four discount codes for John, Stevie, myself.
[35:12] Speaker 1: There was one for Jack. Jack's not on the pod anymore.
[35:14] Speaker 1: Joking around like, I'm going to use the discount code.
[35:16] Speaker 1: I'm going to use Jax, right? Because who's– my wife
[35:21] Speaker 1: tries to use Jax. Someone's already used it.
[35:23] Speaker 3: No way.
[35:24] Speaker 1: So do you want to use it or did the
[35:25] Speaker 1: suits take it?
[35:26] Speaker 2: I wanted to use it too. I wanted to use it.
[35:29] Speaker 2: I'm like, nah, that's not right.
[35:30] Speaker 1: Is there– do you use it?
[35:31] Speaker 3: No, I did not.
[35:34] Speaker 1: So one of the suits has stolen the extra discount code.
[35:37] Speaker 2: I'm going to say it was Top Suit Charlie.
[35:39] Speaker 1: Top Suit.
[35:40] Speaker 3: Wow.
[35:41] Speaker 1: Wow. That is sneaky.
[35:44] Speaker 3: Yeah. beat you to the punch.
[35:46] Speaker 2: I feel like John, I feel like John, no, I was,
[35:48] Speaker 2: I thought about it immediately. I'm like, that seems wrong.
[35:51] Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
[35:51] Speaker 1: Sorry.
[35:52] Speaker 3: Yeah. You didn't do it.
[35:52] Speaker 2: I don't feel like you're using yours. John could be wrong.
[35:55] Speaker 3: I used it. I didn't use Jack's.
[35:58] Speaker 2: I had, well, no one was there though.
[36:00] Speaker 1: The suit stolen.
[36:01] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[36:02] Speaker 1: Um, all right. Anyway, that's all I had to say.
[36:04] Speaker 3: All right. That's, that's, uh, that's pretty good.
[36:06] Speaker 1: Uh, all right.
[36:08] Speaker 3: We're almost done with this episode. We have, uh, life advice,
[36:12] Speaker 3: a couple of questions, uh, And we have one from
[36:16] Speaker 3: Billy in Cleveland. Steve, you want to read this?
[36:19] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[36:20] Speaker 2: Billy in Cleveland says, I somehow got put in charge
[36:22] Speaker 2: of planning my buddy's bachelor party and the pressure is on.
[36:26] Speaker 2: There are way too many options and everyone has a
[36:27] Speaker 2: different idea of what the perfect trip looks like. We're
[36:29] Speaker 2: looking for somewhere with good golf, good food, good bars,
[36:32] Speaker 2: you name it. Enough that we're not just sitting around
[36:35] Speaker 2: all week. And if you guys were, if we were
[36:36] Speaker 2: planning it, what would you do? Also, what's the best
[36:39] Speaker 2: bachelor party you've ever been on and what made it
[36:41] Speaker 2: so good? Any memorable stories, great ideas to steal or
[36:43] Speaker 2: disasters to avoid?
[36:44] Speaker 1: I feel like it's pretty self-explanatory. Well, I was going
[36:47] Speaker 1: to say, first of all, don't get the opinion of everyone.
[36:49] Speaker 1: If you're in charge of the bachelor party, you pick the–
[36:52] Speaker 1: if you want to go golf and play, you just
[36:53] Speaker 1: pick it. You can't get 10 opinions. Everyone– it's the guys.
[36:56] Speaker 1: They're going to have fun no matter where you are.
[36:58] Speaker 1: It doesn't matter.
[36:59] Speaker 2: Right?
[36:59] Speaker 1: So don't get the opinions of everyone. Do a little research.
[37:01] Speaker 1: If you're from Cleveland, you don't want to– if you
[37:03] Speaker 1: want to drive somewhere, do that. If you want to
[37:04] Speaker 1: fly somewhere, do that. But it's honestly– don't go basic.
[37:09] Speaker 1: Don't go to like Nashville or like Austin or– It
[37:13] Speaker 1: depends what you want to do. Do something different. Well,
[37:17] Speaker 1: he says what he wants to do.
[37:18] Speaker 2: If you find like a golf trip, right? If you
[37:20] Speaker 2: like go somewhere, but if you like, no, but you
[37:25] Speaker 2: don't see what I'm saying though. Like if you want
[37:26] Speaker 2: a golf trip, like just book a golf trip, you
[37:28] Speaker 2: want to go to Vegas and just go nightclubs or Miami.
[37:30] Speaker 2: Like just only do that. Like don't like try and
[37:33] Speaker 2: combine both. Cause you can find both, but plan what
[37:36] Speaker 2: you want to plan. Like if you're the golf, go
[37:37] Speaker 2: to Scottsdale, get an Airbnb, get two golf times, one dinner,
[37:41] Speaker 2: Have as many beers as possible and like have a
[37:43] Speaker 2: good time. Don't overcomplicate it.
[37:45] Speaker 1: Go to Big Cedar Lodge. That place looks sick.
[37:47] Speaker 3: Exactly.
[37:47] Speaker 2: But do that, right? Like it's pretty simple.
[37:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, you can get a cabin, play some golf there.
[37:53] Speaker 2: Don't plan like– don't have the whole day planned. Like
[37:56] Speaker 2: just if guys want to show up, they show up.
[37:59] Speaker 3: Yeah. The boys are going to remember the like. post
[38:04] Speaker 3: round you know dinner at the house more than they
[38:08] Speaker 3: are like the bars or the bar scene you know
[38:10] Speaker 3: go to a tiny little place that's great golf and
[38:13] Speaker 3: good accommodations and like a full of little dive bars
[38:16] Speaker 3: you're gonna have a.
[38:17] Speaker 1: Blast bingo that's it right there i've never been like
[38:19] Speaker 1: on a crazy my bachelor party i rented like a
[38:22] Speaker 1: cabin in lake tahoe and it was cool they got
[38:25] Speaker 1: some golf there they got like some little ratchet casinos
[38:28] Speaker 1: i didn't get invited to that kind of hurt but
[38:30] Speaker 1: it's fine yeah i don't know why i didn't you
[38:31] Speaker 1: must have been busy or something yeah i'm sure Yeah,
[38:33] Speaker 1: I didn't get invited to that.
[38:34] Speaker 2: You didn't get invited either, did you, John?
[38:36] Speaker 3: No.
[38:37] Speaker 1: I don't know why. I didn't. Yeah, we didn't make
[38:39] Speaker 1: the list. That is weird.
[38:42] Speaker 2: I don't know why.
[38:42] Speaker 1: Wes and Dan and all those guys, right? I like that.
[38:47] Speaker 1: It's weird. I had guys come to my bachelor party
[38:48] Speaker 1: that I didn't invite to my wedding.
[38:50] Speaker 2: Well, maybe that's why.
[38:51] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:52] Speaker 2: Because you only had 12 people at your wedding.
[38:55] Speaker 3: Very small. But the oranges were delicious. Yeah, they were.
[38:59] Speaker 1: They were very good.
[39:00] Speaker 3: Off the trees.
[39:01] Speaker 1: They were delicious.
[39:04] Speaker 3: All right. Here we go. This is kind of apropos
[39:07] Speaker 3: for the episode that we've had today. From Cooper in Florida,
[39:10] Speaker 3: I recently got invited to a wedding where I barely
[39:12] Speaker 3: know anyone except the groom, and I'm nervous I'm going
[39:15] Speaker 3: to spend the whole night awkwardly standing around. How do
[39:18] Speaker 3: you guys handle going into situations where you don't know
[39:20] Speaker 3: many people and still make the most of it? I
[39:22] Speaker 3: feel like that's like– you got to mature out of that.
[39:25] Speaker 3: You got to be able to talk to people.
[39:27] Speaker 1: Come on. A few hours. There's going to be a
[39:30] Speaker 1: dozen other people in the same boat that might know
[39:32] Speaker 1: one person there. Don't be– hey, how do you know
[39:35] Speaker 1: the groom?
[39:35] Speaker 3: I'm assuming he has a date or is he– a
[39:38] Speaker 3: little awkward if he's totally solo and only knows the groom.
[39:41] Speaker 2: You've got to know other people there. There's no way–
[39:43] Speaker 2: It's the only person you know. But like you figure
[39:46] Speaker 2: it out, dude.
[39:46] Speaker 1: You're an adult.
[39:47] Speaker 2: Figure it out.
[39:48] Speaker 1: Make it a goal to like go approach five people. Hey,
[39:53] Speaker 1: I'm Cooper. Like, oh, how do you know the groom?
[39:55] Speaker 1: How do you know the bride? Like where are you from?
[39:57] Speaker 1: And then it was just five people for Cooper. That's
[40:00] Speaker 1: the goal. You can do it.
[40:04] Speaker 3: Stevie was– you're by himself at Tommy's wedding. Your lovely
[40:08] Speaker 3: bride didn't make the trip, Stevie. But you knew a
[40:10] Speaker 3: lot of people.
[40:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, I had trouble finding a sitter for all three kids.
[40:13] Speaker 2: It's complicated these days.
[40:14] Speaker 3: No, trust me.
[40:15] Speaker 2: No, I know, I know, I know, I know.
[40:17] Speaker 3: We get it. I get it. I know.
[40:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, great time.
[40:21] Speaker 1: Come on, dude.
[40:21] Speaker 3: You can't have anxiety about that. Yeah.
[40:24] Speaker 2: Go and have a good time.
[40:25] Speaker 3: Figure it out, Cooper. But thanks for the question. Thanks
[40:27] Speaker 3: for the life advice. It's been fun, this episode. It's
[40:30] Speaker 3: been fun this whole week, really. Yeah, great week. Sam,
[40:34] Speaker 3: I'm going to get that 10 athletes, like well-known athletes,
[40:38] Speaker 3: and give them to you. See how you do. I
[40:40] Speaker 3: did four out of 10 on the celebrity challenge. I'm
[40:43] Speaker 3: going to start dialing that up.
[40:44] Speaker 1: You're limited to two hockey players. No, no.
[40:49] Speaker 3: No, sir. Two hockey players. Fair enough. Fair enough.
[40:52] Speaker 2: All right.
[40:52] Speaker 3: I'm only going to do two hockey players.
[40:54] Speaker 1: Okay.
[40:55] Speaker 3: That's it. We will see you next week. Next week
[40:58] Speaker 3: is a very good one. We are going to have
[41:00] Speaker 3: a special interview with none other than Big Foe. Francis
[41:04] Speaker 3: Tiafoe is joining the podcast next week. He's going to
[41:09] Speaker 3: be on the pod Thursday. Next Thursday, a week from today,
[41:13] Speaker 3: Big Foe. We're going to have a lot of fun
[41:16] Speaker 3: with this one.
[41:16] Speaker 2: Just bowling at the wedding to get on.
[41:19] Speaker 3: Exactly.
[41:20] Speaker 1: Exactly.
[41:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, we did. We cornered him at Tommy's wedding. Because
[41:24] Speaker 3: you can't get a touch with him via text. Stevie,
[41:27] Speaker 3: we cornered him and we bullied him into coming on
[41:30] Speaker 3: Nothing Man.
[41:30] Speaker 2: And I sent him the group text. I'm like, we're
[41:31] Speaker 2: doing this now.
[41:32] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[41:32] Speaker 3: Yes.
[41:33] Speaker 1: And he texted back like nine hours later. He's like,
[41:35] Speaker 1: what day?
[41:36] Speaker 3: Nine hours later. Yeah.
[41:37] Speaker 1: And we said any day. And then nine hours later, Wednesday.
[41:40] Speaker 3: All right.
[41:45] Speaker 1: Oh, it's always good content with Francis.
[41:47] Speaker 3: So. Look forward to that.
[41:49] Speaker 1: That's it, everyone. Thanks, Stevie. Thanks, Sam.
[41:51] Speaker 3: And we will see everyone next week. Reminder, follow us

[41:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, we want it.
[41:58] Speaker 3: We're not cooking the books with our 100K, right? Yes.
[41:59] Speaker 1: We're going to get there naturally. A lot of other
[42:01] Speaker 1: groups cooking those books.
[42:03] Speaker 3: We keep saying that. Keep saying that. All right.
[42:06] Speaker 1: See you next week. Nothing, nothing major. Nothing, nothing major.
[42:25] Speaker 3: Nothing, nothing major.
