What was meant to be a celebration of 250 years of democracy in the United States has turned into something shocking and unacceptable—a Nazi Parade in Washington, an event that went largely unreported by the media. At the same time, U.S. Ambassador Hoekstra is inviting those involved in the Convoy to his Fourth of July party in Ottawa, while MP Jamil Jivani shares vile rants against PRIDE and Canadian diversity. This is not just a fleeting moment; it's a pivotal time for our values and our future. Charlie Angus, host of Meidas Canada, and Laura Babcock are stepping up to confront the rising Fascist threat in our country and the dangerous rhetoric surrounding the Iran War. Now is the time for all of us to engage in this critical conversation about our democracy. We cannot stand by and let these extremist views take root.
